 Het vreselijke grijze belgisch weer deden me
besluiten dit grijze wollen vestje met contrasterende
boorden te breien. Ik hoop dat ik het kan houden want
mijn dochter is er verliefd op geworden....

Terrible Belgian weather did me decide to make this
woollen cardigan with contrasting colour. I hope I can keep it
as my daughter fell in love with it...It turned out just wonderful.

Ce temps de chien belge m'a forcé de faire
ce tricot gris en laine avec des bords contrastants.
J'espère pouvoir le garder puisque ma fille
l'adore... Il est parfait.

Terug/Back again/De retour

Soms is het leven onvoorspelbaar.
Gebeuren er dingen, mooie dingen die wat bezinning vergen. En
ook minder mooie dingen. Die je uit evenwicht brengen.
Maar ik ben terug. Met een hoop projekten en ik kijk met verwondering naar de verrassingen die het leven soms brengt.

Sometimes life is unpredictable. Things happen, beautiful things
to be taken into consideration.  Sometimes sad things bringing you
out of balance. But I am back.With a lot of projects and
amazed of what life can bring.

La vie est imprévisible. Des choses se passent qui
demandent un peu de considération. De belles choses et de mauvaises
expériences qui vous déstabilisent. Mais je suis de retour.
Plein de projets et surpris de ce que la vie m'a donné.

Rok/Skirt/Jupe

This skirt was initially started as a vest.
Then I suddenly wanted it to be a skirt.
It’s just perfect.
In the last picure the skirt is unblocked.

I followed the instructions for the vest till the desired hiplenght.
Then made some decreases on the hips as well as at
 approximately 1/3rd of each side of the belly by not making
 the yo’s in the pattern till the desired width.
To finish I made 2 knit rows, one row  K2tog, Yo, … one knit row.
 Casted off and threaded a ribbon trough the eyelets.

Did you really think I was not knitting?

the weather is too beautiful in Belgium,
and we are enjoing it with friends...
