MOUNTAIN FLYING

In the activity there is a major differences of FLYING ACTIVITIES a special attention is to be made toward MOUNTAIN FLYING in witch for the VFR PILOT I see FOUR  diferent aplication. witch need particular attention and knowledge and training.

1)-OVERFLYING MOUNTAINOUS REGIONS require particular  knowledge and attention .

2) -LANDING at MOUNTAIN NORMAL AERODROME also need particular knowledge and training

3) -LANDING & TAKE OFF at  ALTOPORTS or SPECIAL MOUNTAIN AIRPORTS
 require Particular knowledge and specialised training

4)-The reel MOUNTAIN FLYING as witch I received a special cours, for knowledge and a adapted  intense training is the LANDING and TAKE-OFF at the NON PUBLISHED LOCATIONS in the MOUNTAINS 

 for information on this activity I sugest you join the NATIONAL MOUNTAIN FLYING ORGANISATION witch are membrers of the

MOUNTAIN FLYING II

On me demande pourqoi je m'intresse aux vol en montagne.

J'ai eux la change en 1958 et 59 de volez  et ATERRIR en montagne avec Mr GEIGER sur PIPERCUB et aussi en DORNIER 27(militair)

Plus tard j"ai encore volez et ateri hors piste comme instructeur-pilote en PA18, JODEL 112 et ALOUETTE II

En plus je maintien depuis beaucoup d'annee avec l' AFPM  pour leqeulle j' essai de informe les INSTITUTIONS EUROPEAN de cette superbe activite.

Ces une experience tres intresant

CAPSTONE

Faa is pushing to take FLIGHT NAVIGATION program NATIONWIDE.

 The FAA program has reduced the number of crashes in one region of ALASKA is poised now to go nationwide

 The system has reduced accidents by 43% during the last three years in the YUKON-KUSKOKWIM River Delta?

 A contract for this progres is to be awarded in July 2007


Note: I ame also intrested inthe SWEDISCH very advanced experiment

 Whe hope to see more on the  progres via the ADS-B workshop at EUROCONTROL HQ on 21 NOVEMBER

RUNWAY-THRESHOLD SURVEY ???

Attachement 1 of ICAO Annex  15 orders top publish in AIP the GEOGRAPHICAL COORDINATES of each RUNWY THRESHOLD in WGS-84.

 Chapter 5 point 5.3.1.2 of ICAO Doc 9674 provides that the survey is to be made at the beginning of the PAVED SURFACE

 Can whe conclude that UNPAVED  RUNWAY are excluded from the in  chapter 5 point 5.3.1.2 of ICAO  Annexe 15 requirement.


So far I understand this is now the case for the GRASS RUNWAY

What is the ICAO Definition of a  PAVVED SURFACE in Anexxe 14 or ICAO Doc 9137 part III  ???

 Somme REGULATORS are intending to have all the for VFR used GRASS AERODROMES AUTHORITIES to  have such a costly THRs of GRASS RUNWAY to be surveyed, witch according me is a unneeded and costly aplication for the VFR operations

I ame intrested in YOUR ADVISE  or COMMENTS on this proposal ASAP ??

In function of a number of  QUESTIONS asked to me  as INDIVIDUEL EU-LOBBYIST contacts this month during my visits to the  EP,EC,COUNCIL,STOA ,COREPER,COR ,ESC and EUROCONTROL  dit I circulate the 2005 STATISTICAL INFORMATION of IAOPA avaible on the WWW.IAOPA.ORG

However out of this whe are only abel to locate only some information on the information of AIRPLANE( FIXED WING) active in EUROPE

A similar information is URGENTLY needed on:

 -DPM
 -DELTA FLYING

 -GASBALLOONS

 -PARACHUTISTS

and SME in EUROPE of the 25 +2 +2 EU MEMBERSTATES involved in the CONSTRUCTION of the above mentioned AIRCRAFT in vieuw to evaluate the ECONOMIC value of this activity in the EU

BENEFIET RECITAL

Men voorziet een PIANO RECITAL op 8 JUNI 2007 als BENEFIET te organiseren via JEUGD EN LUCHTVAART ten behoeve van het vergaren van inkomsten voor de 27th DAG DER MINDER VALIDIDEN KINDEREN .

NACHTVLUCHT VFR

In een aantal FIR's is het nu mogelijk om VFR NACHTVLUCHT OVERLAND uit te voeren in functie van de NATIONALE VOORSCHRIFTEN.

 Tot op heden is dit een NATIONAAL VOORSCHRIFT gezien de EU  nog EUROCONTROL bevoegdheid heeft over het NATIONAAL LUCHTRUIM

During my contacts at the EU level I have regular personel contacts on a number of aspects of AVIATION in the EU.!!!!

 1)-  ACI is publishing a list with information on the IMPORTANT AERODROME's in the 25 EU memberstates.

  Has IAOPA or any other GENRAL AVIATION involved organisation on the most important AERODROME or AIRFIELDS for the NON CAT operations.

 If so pleas transmit ASAP, I will transmit indicating the originator to the EU raporteur involved.

 2)- I have transmited the IAOPA STATISTICAL INFORMATION 2005 to the EU raporteur.
   This concerne almosr exclusive AIROPLANE's

SEPEMBER 2006

Tijdens de Maand SEPTEMBER heb ik enkele van mijn WAPENBROEDERS der INTERNATIONALE LUCHTVAART verlmoren door het Overlijden van.

PER HOLTER-SORENSEN  van NOORWEGEN op 22 SEPT

BERNARD LAMY van FRANKRIJK op 25 SEPT

 Beide waren met mij zeer aktief in de jaren 80 om de belangen van GENERAL AVIATION te behartigen.

Note: later werdt door ICAO er  tegen ons advies een splitsing gemaakt in GENERAL AVIATION en AERIAL WORK operations
