ARBEIDERS

Out of a number of conversations with operational ATCO do they prefer to have their CONTROL ZONE to be ICAO CLASS "D" airspace ins-tead of the mainly used CLASS "C" in many locations .

Any feedback, sugestions or comments are welcom ASAP ??

WWW.AOPA.ORG     AIRPORT WATCH

Whe are intrested to obtain feed-back from FI's who are involved in BASIC FLIGHT training  in VFR on pilots without any experience and using aircraft with a GLAS COCKPIT

 I have the impression:

  The LOOK OUT  is decreasing.

The need to READ the information is less direct then with the clasical analogue instrumentation where at a glance whe have the visual aqusition of the information

How wil;l be the quality of a pilot trained with a GLAS COCKPIT  when flying a AIRPLANE with a CONVENTIONAL INSTRUMENTATION

Any comments ,reaction of information is welcom and will be thezated at confidential level.

Hier dus enkele antwoorden op gestelde vragen

Although I ame promoting GENERAL AVIATION & AERIAL WORK at GLOBAL level do I feel a little upset thad whe are promoting EU-FTO who are involved in their operation outside the EU memberstates

At EU level I have the feeling thad whe must promote  and give PRIORITY to the use of EU FTO who are doing their operations inside the EU and are creating JOBS in the EU AVIATION  area.

Any comments or sugestions on this subjects are always welcom.

As many of you are awre there are propositions to have each pilot or student pilot to be subject to a SECURITY INVESTIGATION.

However I was made aware of a person who aplied for a job an the AIRSIDE of a INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT to be issued a SECURITY BADGE within 30 minutes , when this person dit not speak any of the usual languages being in use at this aerodrome DUTCH,FRENCH,GERMAN or ENGLISCH and was assisted by a translater for the administrative requirements.

How is this person going to be aware of the SAFETY requirements on the AIRSIDE and where is the SECURITY evaluation ???

I receives a request for a petition witch apaerently can only be signed by UK citizens

The pitition is:

I think however we can express our support toward:

NICK@BERRYMAN.IK.COM  a Ex RAF  chap.

BACKTRACK on a RWY is never to be iniated without specifique ATC CLEARANCE. !!!

SIMULATED ENGINE FAILURE after T/O schould be informed to the ATC in advance !!!

I sugest reading the CALLBACK/ASRS  n° 328 of APRIL 2007 for al ABI/FI and their STUDENTS

I oçbtained a latest updated version of                     ICAO-ANNEX 09

ICAO-CIRCULAR 274-AT/114
ACCES TO AIR TRANSPORT BY PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (1999)

The Chairman informed thad there could be the assigment of a number of new reports on AIR TRANSPORT related subjects:

  -FAB

 -CESAR

 -GALILEO

and also a number of PUBLIC HEARINGS  to be planned

 more on this later!!!

Made a very good input concerning the EASA at the EP-TRA.

He also highlichted a very important aspect thad it is becoming a very difficult to locate valuable motivated AVIATION EXPERTS with operational experience.

 In a privat conversation with Mr GOUDOU and some of the MEP I made the verbal statement;

Thad EUROPE is destroying his future AERONAUTICAL INDUSTRY by placing a to hevy financial, regulatory and adminstrative burden on the " NON CAT AIRSPACE USERS"

The motivated YOUNGSTERS needed for the 92 jobs in the AERONAUTICAL WORLD are not created only in the UNIVERSITY or SCHOOLS but are made to follow the required study via thezir motivating created when they where 12 to 14 year by beeing abel to aproche the AVATION ACTIVITY from MODELFLYING, HOME BUILDER SPOTTER,GLIDING,ULM,DELTA,BALLOON ,GYROCOPTER and the FIXED WING and ROTATING WING of GENERAL AVIATION

Prof Jacqueline McGlade the Executive Director of the European Enviroment Agency:

Made a presentation on the EEA study on the WHITE PAPER of TRANSPORT witch is under revision by the EP.

Intresting was the reaction of a number of the MEP of the larger party's in the EP-TRA based on the text thad I have recently circulated in  in about 300 copies to the EU POLITICAL ARENA , EC ;
,EESC,ECOR , COUNCIL and EUROCONTROL

as subject TRAINS from February 2007
and made avaible by some experts of PAL/NGO

Text avaible on request via SDW

Was present at the voting of :

COMMON RULES in the FIELD of CIVIL AVIATION SECURITY ( not SAFETY)
TRAN/6/44676

I have the impression there is nothing very dangerous in for the " NON CAT AIRSPACE USERS"  except for the Business operators of light jets??

A dangerous point is still the COST RECOVERY for SECURITY.

For GENERAL AVIATION & AERIAL WORK I still strongly advise them to develop at each AIRFIELD a AIRPORT WATCH as mentioned by:

And make this aware to the PUBLIC,THE ADMINISTRATIONS and the POLITICAL WORLD

SECURITY  in AVIATION is not only a problem for the EU ,STATE AUTHORITY  or SECURITY SERVICES but for  each AVIATION PERSON  from SPOTTER up to AIRLINE PIC.

BE SECURITY MINDED

TERRORISME can apaer everywear ????

The GALILEO project has now been redeleayed toward 2012.

the original target was 2008 then 2011 and now 2012

Intresting to follow in this field is:

-GATE by DLR

-GLONAS by RUSSIA

-GPS III by the USA
