Dit weekend waren wij aan de baai van de Somme.  En: verrassing: het was transhumance: de dag dat de schapen uit de baai worden gehaald om thuis te overwinteren!  Het betreft de fameuze schapen van de pré-salé(zoute weide).   Het weer was van de partij en we konden geen betere datum uitgekozen hebben!xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

We were in Le Crotoy in the Somme (xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Northern France). And much to our surprise: it was the “transhumance”: the day all sheep come out of the bay to hibernate at home.  We couldn’t have choosen a beter day as the weather was georgeous.
