God made a little dachsie, to brighten up our day.
He took a bit of sunshine, laughter, love and play,
and rolled it up in a sausage shape, just right for a hug,
with bright eyes, full of mischief, set in its little mug.
With little paws a pattering, to take it here and there,
and a cold wet nose, But then He thought, "Oh, what about the hair?
Shall I make it long and silky, or wiry, that's so sweet,
or make it simple, and have it smooth and satiny and neat? 
And what about the color, how can I pick one?
Shall I make it black, or red, or brown, or dappled, just for fun?"
He pondered while He made the world, and all creatures great and small,
and then the answer came to Him, of course! I'll make them all!!
So remember, that a dachshund is special from above,
His coat of many colors is a sign of God's great Love.

Your 10 years old today
You are a family member
in every single way.
You are, for us just like the kids

This little dog with ten inch clearance 

Presents a ludicrous appearance,

 His legs are bowed, his feet turn out, 

He gives us much to laugh about. 

He's two dogs long, a half dog high, 

In spite of which he's quick and spry;

 So at his funny build don't smirk - 

It's perfect for his special work. 

For Dachshund plays a hero's role 

In going down a badger's hole;

 A badger is a savage fighter,

 A vicious scratcher and a biter. 

And folks who call him "dash-hound" show 

Their ignorance and do not know 

That dox-hoont is his proper name

Zondag een regenachtige dag in Vilt bij Maastricht waren we met baasje op deze mooie show. Zeg maar een familieshow. Baasje had mij in de veteranenklasse ingeschreven,Yelle en Droef in de openklasse. Baasje was zoals altijd zeer tevreden over ons. Langs de andere kant verwennen ook wij ons baasje met o.a attentie. Wij zij hier dan ook tevreden doggys.Yelle op de show dan werd mooiste reu bij de langharigen dwergteckels, onze Droef ook en beste van het ras bij de lagharigen standaardteckels. Ten slotte ik werd beste van het ras bij de schnauzers peper en zout kleur.In de erering waarbij gelet word op de onze presentatie handling geheten worden de begeleiders op hun beurt op hun beurt beoordeeld door de keurders. Voor mij niet moeilijk,ik word in september tien jaar en heb ervaring zat.Eetste  bij de veteranen werd mijn collega een mooie Gordon Setter,ik werd dan tweede. In de groepskeuring,schnauzers behoren volgens de FCI in groep twee. Ook daar werd ik twee. In Groep 4 werd onze Droef mooi tweede in de eindkeuring.De keurder was onder de indruk.Droef is een lieve teckel en ook een topteckel.Zeer aanhankelijk zoals Yelle en ook zeer sociaal. Het zijn in de eerste plaats toch onze schatjes

je bent de kleurstof in mijn bloed

jou blik is dieper dan de zee

je loopt in al mijn dromen mee

mijn lieve hond. 

Schnauzer Arram Chapiro werd best in show bij de veteranen

Honden houden van hun vrienden en bijten hun vijanden

in tegenstelling tot mensen die niet in staat zijn echte,

pure liefde te tonen maar altijd liefde en haat schijnen te moeten mixen 

Een hond brengt pure vriendschap,

vertrouwen en volmaakt geluk
