Berts Blog kan je niet associëren met één bepaald thema. Fietsen, koken en natuur komen zeker aan bod, maar ook cursiefjes over belevenissen binnen mijn vriendengroepen kan je hier terugvinden. Graag wil ik eveneens mijn mening ventileren over de actualiteit.

Godvergeten plaats in de Oostkantons

Pal op de Duitse grens.

Een paar straten,

één kruispunt,

één hotel.

Geen drukte om BHV,

geen drukte om lawaai en smog,

geen drukte om opstijgende vliegtuigen,

geen drukte om politiek,

geen drukte om islamisering.

De eenvoud, de rust zelve.

Prachtig liggen de loipen erbij.

Wit en groen zijn dominant.

Een tapijt van 40 cm tijdens de Paasvakantie!!!

Een bijna - unicum.

Tien kilometer lang genieten en dan nog eens vijf.

We krijgen er niet genoeg van.

Het vet moet weg

De fiets staat hunkerend te wachten.

Natuur wordt meer dan één nat uur.

Het zweet smaakt naar zout.

Zuurstof inpompen

En dan genieten van een blondje van 40 cl.

Phosphodiesterase inhibitors

Wit, witter dan het witste wit.
Egaal, zuiver en puur.
Als duizend diamanten,
glinsterend in de zon.
Immense stilte.
Windloos.
Geen struik, geen boom, geen takje dat roert.
Alleen een verdwaald sneeuwvlokje
dat af en toe naar beneden dwarrelt
ontneemt je de illusie dat je voor een schilderij staat.
Immense stilte of toch niet?
Heel soms onderbroken door gelukkig keuvelende ouders,
wandelend hand in hand,
met achter hen lachende, speelse kleintjes op de slee.
Genieten van het leven hoeft niet duur te zijn.
