8,33 KHZ aplication

The MANDATORY aplication of 8,33 KHZ above FL195 is mandatory from       15 MARCH 2007 see WWW.EUROCONTOL.INT

There is a very strong position by a number of memberstates to introduce 8,33 kHZ also below FL 195  ASAP (as soon as posible )!!!!

 The scenarios under evaluation now are:

 1)- MANDATORY 8,33KHZ in the complete FIR
 2)- MANDATORY 8,33KHZ in ALL CONTROLLED AIRSPACE
 3)- MANDATORY 8,33KHZ in ALL AWY & TMA
 4)- MANDATORY 8,33 KHZ in ALL TMA
 5)- MANDATORY 8,33KHZ in the DENSE TMA

The MAJOR RAISON BEEING the LACK of FREQUENTIES AVAIBLE for the future increase of  CAT ???
