Ieder jaar wordt onder leiding van de Verenigde Naties de Wereld Milieu Dag gehouden. Ook in Maski Mission werd hieraan meegedaan.
Een dag waarop extra aandacht wordt besteed aan de belangrijkheid van het milieu voor de mensheid. Tegenwoordig is er nood om het beter omgaan met onze planeet te promoten, zodat we onze aarde gezond kunnen houden en de klimaatverandering tegengaan. Wereld Milieu Dag is een herinnering voor ons om Moeder Natuur, die in allerlei vormen van leven voorziet, dankbaar te zijn.

World Environment Day is commemorated worldwide each year under the direction of the United Nations to heighten public awareness of the environment. In recent times, the need to promote more earth friendly practices in order to maintain the health of our planet has come to the forefront, as world nations struggle to reverse the present trend of climate change. The World Environment Day is a reminder to show our gratefulness to Mother Nature, which sustains all forms of life.
