One of the best soundig tube radios I ever hear is this Saba Freiburg-Studio from 1963. This radio has motortuning for the stations and volume control, probebly one of the most expensive radios of his time. This is a real heavy weight of 17 kg! Op deze radio kon ik geen merknaam terug vinden, het is een erg bijzondere radio en dus gaf ik hem zelf de naam van een bijzondere lieve blog vriendin, Ambrosia.

Very uncommun radio this "Sonneclair" model Evolution. He was made in France around 1949. The case is made of metal and the speakercase is made of black bakelite. The speaker can be positioned in flat position or standup position like in picture. This radio realy looks like a type writer... Other funny thing is that the radio can be wall mounted! Zeer mooi klein radiootje van Philips gebouwd in 1951. Ik vind deze radio mooi omdat hij je aandacht trekt met zij sobere vormgeving, als je deze radio ook maar één keer gezien hebt zul je zijn vormgeving niet vergeten... Dit toestel werd in de laten jaren 80 gebruikt op de affiches en sticker van radio2. Afmetingen: 28cm x 18 cm x 14,5 cm. Het maakt gebruik van de volgende lampen; UCH42 UF41 UBC41 UL41 UY41
Dit is een Philips type 2514 uit de begin periode van Philips. Zoals de meeste radio's uit deze periode is het design nogal streng en labo-achtig. Dit toestel zit erg ingenieus in elkaar waardoor een herstelling een ernstig klusje wordt. Slechts 4 lampen in dit toestel; B443 E416 506 E442
