Philips B7X63A with motor tuning (automatic radio)
This is one of the most expensive Philips radios made in the 50's. The push buttons on the sides are darker (original on these radios) and are some kind of pre set station knobs (automatic version). This radio has still his original owners manual! This radio is extreemly heavy weigts aprox. 20 Kg. 14 tubes in this radio!!!
A very big radio is this "Acec 554" he was made in 1953 till 54 in the Belgian Acec factory. Sizes: 72 cm wide 29 cm depth 44 cm high. Tubes: ECH81 ECH81 ECC85 EM80 EL84 This model was the top of the line in 1953/54 for the company. The side grills for the speakers are realy a litle piece of art. Even with only one EL84 this radio surprizes you with a clear and load sound performance...
Important note:
The chassis and speakers (3) are made of brass plate!
