Its the masterpiece of any collection of German radios.
Its a Siemens Schatulle P48 made between 1954 and 55.
This radio is a SoundBlaster, 4 big alnico speakers are doing the big job!
There is a ECC83 for each EL84 tube!
No less than 14 tubes!!!
This radio was the most expensive radio of his time, you have to pay 795 DM (German Marks = 1500 euro or 1890 USD).
This is the top of all radios, I hear a lot of radios during all this time of collecting but this is just amazing, you can feel the volume go thru your cloths
Its just a wonderful radio, Im so glad I finely have one in my collection.
This radio is also very heavy he weights about 30 Kg!
The sizes are 80 cm wide, 44 cm high and 33 cm depth so he is much bigger than the M57!
