Julius Allwood Spriet, 90 05/28/1920 ~ 10/15/2010 VISTA -- A truly great man has passed into eternity. Margaret's husband, our father, grandfather is now with Jesus and the family members who have passed before him. He spent quality time to grow his family and instill character in us. He taught us to love others, and treat all with dignity and respect. Julius was loved and respected. We will miss him and are comforted in the peace that he is no longer trapped in a deteriorating earthly body. He lived a long life thru good times and difficult times. Julius fought bravely for his country in WWII. Our time on earth is but the blink of an eye considering that our life with Jesus and family members in eternity never ends. We will be together again.... for many good times and picnics with family and friends. Inurnment will take place at a date yet to be set at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
