My Sarie Marais is so ver van my hart Maar'k hoop om haar weer te sien Sy het in die wyk van die Mooi Rivier gewoon Nog voor die oorlog het begin
O bring my trug na die ou Transvaal Daar waar my Sarie woon Daar onder in die mielies By die groen doringboom Daar woon my Sarie Marais Daar waar my Sarie woon Daar onder in die mielies By die groen doringboom Daar woon my Sarie Marais
Ek was so bang dat die Kakies my sou vang En ver oor die see wegstuur Toe vlug ek na die kant van die Upington se sand Daar onder langs die Grootrivier Refrein Die Kakies is mos net soos 'n krokodille pes Hulle sleep jou altyd water toe Hul gooi jou op n skip vir 'n lange, lange trip Die josie weet waarnatoe
O bring my trug na die ou Transvaal Daar waar my Sarie woon Daar onder in die mielies By die groen doringboom Daar woon my Sarie Marais Daar waar my Sarie woon Daar onder in die mielies By die groen doringboom Daar woon my Sarie Marais
Verlossing die kom en die huis toe gaan was daar Terug na die ou Transvaal My lieflingspersoon sal seker ook daar wees Om my met 'n kus te beloon
O bring my trug na die ou Transvaal Daar waar my Sarie woon Daar onder in die mielies By die groen doringboom Daar woon my Sarie Marais Daar waar my Sarie woon Daar onder in die mielies By die groen doringboom Daar woon my Sarie Marais
Minuit, Chrétiens (aka Cantique De Noël)

Composer(s): Adolphe-Charles Adam; Placide Cappeau
First performance by: Emily Laurey - 1847
Performer(s): Joan Baez - 1966
and multiple other artists
Sarbacane Composer(s): Francis Cabrel First release by: Francis Cabrel - 1989 Covered by: Johnny Hallyday - 2007
Oh, come with me Where the moonbeams Light up the skies Shine in your eyes Where we belong Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh Pagan love song South Sea islands I hear them call To you, my all And now I sing Tah-dah-dah-lah-dah-lah-dah-lah Tah-dah-dah-lah-dah-lah-dah-laaaaaaaaaaaaah

Love and hope and peace like boughs upon a tree We ornament with good intentions and promise that we believe To talk from the heart to each other, and open our eyes Keep it inside, the symbol of Christmas day
Milagro milagro es la esperanza, milagro nuestro es la navidad (Miracle miracle is hope, miracle of ours is Christmas)
No matter where you're from, you may have a different look We're here to tell our own story, our life is an open book We're here to discover the one thing, that keeps us alive Holds it inside, the wonder of Christmas day
Milagro milagro es la esperanza, milagro nuestro es la navidad (Miracle miracle is hope, miracle of ours is Christmas)
Sarah´s lonely reflection close to making connections She´s running away Sarah´s hiding rejection She dreams of nothing but deception a brighter new day
Sarah´s at the window pretending not to cry staring at a rainbow and clouds that pass her by
No one knows her pain Her tears are lost behind the rain Secrets of the heart She says they´re a part of the price of love
It´s no surprise after all the lies that something´s died in Sarah´s sad blue eyes Yeah Sarah, sweeter than morning hold on, another day is dawning It´s a brighter new day
Sarah´s at the window although her eyes are red promising tomorrow to the demons in her head

Sarah In The Summer Composer(s): Jimmy Ibbotson Performer(s): The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band; Wild Jimbos
I've driven this road as a stranger I've driven this road as a friend I've driven this road as a slack-jawed tourist And I'm drivin' on it once again It might be cold and long and lonely But she's waitin' on the other side And I'm an hour closer to Sarah in the summer And joyfully I ride Joyfully I ride
And I've climbed through Georgetown, to Silver Plume The tunnel at Loveland's cold The lake on the left is a little lower Route 9 is the Breckenridge road There's a sign right below Copper Mountain Tellin' whether Independence runs free And I'm an hour closer to Sarah in the summer And that's where I wanna be That's where I wanna be
In the evening shadow of Red Butte Up the lane from the Slaughter House Bridge The first cabin the moonlight strikes As it crests the cleft in Hunter Crick Ridge Up from between Old Red and Smuggler Rising high on a piano bench there And I'm an hour closer to Sarah in the summer And what lies between beware What lies between, beware
Oh, when the red sandstone sentinels Rising high on either side As I follow the Eagle Valley Through the canyon where the Saints reside
In Mt. Snowmass' massive majesty south And east out of Glennywood Springs And I'm an hour closer to Sarah in the summer Where the Roaring River sings The Roaring River sings

Merry Christmas Happy Holidays
Merry christmas, Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays
We've been waiting all year for this night
When the snow is glistening on the trees outside
And all the stockings are hung by the fire side
Waiting for Santa to arrive and all the love will show
'Cause everybody knows it's Christmas time
And all the kids will see gifts under the tree
It's the best time of year for the family
It's a wonderful feeling, feel the love in the room
From the floor to the ceiling
It's that time of year
Christmas time is here
And with the blessings from above
God sends you his love and everything's okay
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays
Bells are ringing it's time to scream and shout (scream and shout)
And everybody's playing cause school's out
Celebrating the special times we share happiness
'Cause love is in the air and all the love will show
'Cause everybody knows it's Christmas time
And all the kids will see the gifts under the tree
It's the best time of year for the family
It's a wonderful feeling, feel the love in the room
From the floor to the ceiling
It's that time of year
Christmas time is here
And with the blessings from above
God sends you his love and everything's okay
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas
Happy Holidays, Happy Holidays
No matter what your holiday it's a time to celebrate
Put your worries aside and open up your mind
See the world right by your side, it's Christmas time
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas
Happy Holidays, Happy Holidays
It's a wonderful feeling, feel the love in the room
From the floor to the ceiling
It's that time of year
Christmas time is here
And with the blessings from above
God sends you his love and everything's okay
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas
Happy Holidays, Happy Holidays
Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout Would Not Take The Garbage Out
Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout Would Not Take The Garbage Out Composer(s): Shel Silverstein Performer(s): Shel Silverstein
Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout Would not take the garbage out! She'd scour the pots and scrape the pans Candy the yams and spice the hams And though her daddy would scream and shout She simply would not take the garbage out And so it piled up to the ceilings Coffee grounds, potato peelings Brown bananas, rotten peas Chunks of sour cottage cheese It filled the can, it covered the floor It cracked the window and blocked the door With bacon rinds and chicken bones Drippy ends of ice cream cones Prune pits, peach pits, orange peel Gloopy glumps of cold oatmeal Pizza crusts and withered greens Soggy beans and tangerines Crusts of black burned buttered toast Gristly bits of beefy roasts... The garbage rolled on down the hall It raised the roof, it broke the wall... Greasy napkins, cookie crumbs Globs of gooey bubble gum Cellophane from green baloney Rubbery blubbery macaroni Peanut butter, caked and dry Curdled milk and crusts of pie Moldy melons, dried-up mustard Eggshells mixed with lemon custard Cold French fries and rancid meat Yellow lumps of Cream of Wheat At last the garbage reached so high That finally it touched the sky And all the neighbors moved away And none of her friends would come to play And finally Sarah Cynthia Stout said "OK, I'll take the garbage out!" But then, of course, it was too late... The garbage reached across the state From New York to the Golden Gate And there, in the garbage she did hate Poor Sarah met an awful fate That I cannot right now relate Because the hour is much too late But children, remember Sarah Stout And always take the garbage out!

Merry Christmas To Me
Composer(s): Alan Jackson
Performer(s): Alan Jackson; Swoon 23
Today I took some paper from the closet And wrapped the wedding ring you left behind And I addressed it to the man who vowed to love you And on a little card I wrote these words inside
Merry Christmas to me Just one gift beneath my tree For the fool who let you leave Merry Christmas to me
Then I sat down in my chair and thought about you About the many reasons why you're gone And I opened up the present that I gave to me And realized how much it hurts to be alone
Merry Christmas to me Just one gift beneath my tree For the fool who let you leave Merry Christmas to me
I'm the fool who let you leave Merry Christmas to me
Sarah Composer(s): Georges Moustaki First release by: Georges Moustaki - 1974
Merry Christmas Strait To You Composer(s): Bob Kelly Performer(s): George Strait
It's Christmas time I see the lines of people everywhere Tryin' to pick out the gifts That show how much they care It makes me wish that I could see my friends On Christmas Day And fill my list with lots of gifts But I can only say
Here comes a merry Christmas strait to you I hope it cheers you up when you are down and feelin' blue Right or wrong I'll sing my song And you will know just who Sings a merry Christmas strait to you
There's lot of ways to share the days Of Christmas with your friends A Christmas card, a tree that stars And gifts that make you grin I'd like to share this song with everyone who came our way Without a doubt the fires not out It burns for you today
Here comes a merry Chritmas strait to you I hope it cheers you up when you are down and feelin' blue Right or wrong I'll sing my song And you will know just who Sings a merry Christmas strait to you
Here comes a merry Christmas and to all who might of missed us A very merry Christmas strait to you
