    Scoubidou bi ou a
    Scoubidou bi ou a
    Scoubidou bi ou a
    Scoubidou bi ou
    Io l'incontrai ad un cocktail
    Lui mi chiese Mademoiselle
    Che cosa fa per vivere
    E cosi' riposi allor
'Io vendo pere e mele' e poi scoubidou bi ou a
Pere mele e poi scoubidou bi ou a
    Scoubidou bi ou
    Danzammo insieme al cabaret
    E fino all'alba delle tre
    Qualunque cosa a esagerar
scoubidou bi ou a scoubidou bi ou a
Adamo ed Eva al mondo inter
    Han svelato già il mister
E meglio sempre soli star piuttosto che mangiar
La pere le mele e dei scoubidou bi ou a
Pere mele e dei scoubidou bi ou a scoubidou bi ou a
Scoubidou bi ou a scoubidou bi ou a

Santa Bring My Baby Back (To Me)
    Composer(s): Claude Demetrius; Aaron Schroeder
First recording/First release by: Elvis Presley - 1957
    Covered by multiple other artists

(Santa, bring my Baby back to me)
(Santa, bring my Baby back to me)

    I don't need a lot of presents
    To make my Christmas bright
I just need my baby's arms
    Wound around me tight
    Uh-ho, Santa hear my plea
Santa bring my baby back to me

(Santa, bring my Baby back to me)

    The Christmas tree is ready
    The candles all aglow
But with my Baby far away
    What good is mistletoe
    Uh-ho, Santa, hear my plea
Santa bring my baby back to me

(Santa, bring my Baby back to me)

    Please make these reindeer hurry
Well the time is drawing near
It sure won't seem like Christmas
    Unless my Baby's here
Don't fill my sock with candy
Or no bright and shiny toy
    You wanna make me happy
And fill my heart with joy
    Then Santa, hear my plea
Santa bring my baby back to me

(Santa, bring my Baby back to me)

    Please make these reindeer hurry
Well the time is drawing near
It sure won't seem like Christmas
    Unless my Baby's here
Don't you fill my sock with candy
Or no bright and shiny toy
You wanna make me happy and fill my heart with joy
    Then Santa, hear my plea
Santa bring my baby back to me

(Santa, bring my Baby back to me)
    (Santa, bring my Baby back)

    Then Santa, hear my plea
Santa bring my baby back to me

    Äpfel Und Birnen
((Adapted from: Apples, Peaches And Cherries (Peggy Lee) - 1953))
    Composer(s): Allan Lewis - Michael
    Performer(s): Dalida - 1959

    Versions In Other Languages:
1959 - Scoubidou (Pommes Et Poires) (Sacha Distel)
1959 - Scoubidou (Italian Version) (Dalida)

Am rond-point sprach ein mann mich an
    Als ich mein Büro verliess
Und fragt ob ich ihm sagen kann
    Was isst man in Paris

    Am liebsten Äpfel und Birnen
    Und dann scoubidoubidou-a
    Äpfel Äpfel birnen birnen
    Und dann scoubidoubidou-a scoubidoubidou

    Der Vorschlag schien ihm originell
    Und hat ihn so interessiert
Dass er mich darauf ganz formell
    Am abend ausgeführt

    In einem netten restaurant
    Hat er mein menü erprobt
    Das er ganz ausgezeichnet fand
    Und nun begeistert lobt

Wie schön sind Äpfel und Birnen
    Und dann scoubidoubidou-a
    Äpfel Äpfel Birnen Birnen
    Und dann scoubidoubidou-a scoubidoubidou

Und weil es ihm so herrlich schmeckt
    Macht er täglich diese kur
Bis er dann voller schreck entdeckt
    Es schadet der figur

Es sei ja ab und zu ganz schön
    Wenn man süss früchte hat
    Doch müsse er mir eingestehn
    Auch früchte machen satt

    Nicht immer Äpfel und Birnen
    Und dann scoubidoubidou-a
    Äpfel Äpfel Birnen Birnen
    Und dann scoubidoubidou-a
    Scoubidoubidou-a, scoubidoubidou-a
    Scoubidoubidou - aha

Santa Baby Composer(s): Joan Javits; Tony Springer; Philip Springer First release by: Eartha Kitt - 1953 Covered by multiple other artists

Santa baby, slip a sable under the tree, for me
I've been an awful good girl
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Santa baby, an out-of-space convertible too, light blue
I'll wait up for you dear
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Think of all the fun I've missed
Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed
Next year I could be oh so good
If you'd check off my Christmas list
    Boo doo bee doo
Santa honey, I wanna yacht and really that's
    Not a lot
I've been an angel all year
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Santa cutie, there's one thing I really do need, the deed
    To a platinum mine
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Santa baby, I'm filling my stocking with a duplex, and checks
Sign your 'X' on the line
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
Come and trim my Christmas tree
With some decorations bought at Tiffany's
I really do believe in you
Let's see if you believe in me
    Boo doo bee doo
Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing, a ring
    I don't mean a phone
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight
    Hurry down the chimney tonight
    Hurry down the chimney tonight

Scotch and soda, mud in your eye
Baby, do I feel high, oh, me, oh, my
    Do I feel high
    Dry martini, jigger of gin
Oh, what a spell you've got me in, oh, my
    Do I feel high
    People won't believe me
They'll think that I'm just braggin'
But I could feel the way I do
and still be on the wagon

All I need is one of your smiles
Sunshine of your eyes, oh, me, oh, my
    Do I feel high

    People won't believe me
They'll think that I'm just braggin'
But I could feel the way I do
and still be on the wagon

All I need is one of your smiles
Sunshine of your eyes, oh, me, oh, my
Do I feel higher than a kite can fly
    Give me lovin', baby
    I feel high

    Paris
    Composer(s): Bernard Lavilliers
    Performer(s): Bernard Lavilliers

    J'adore le ciel de Paris
    J'adore cette fille de bandit
    Qui se balade en guêpière
    Quand je retourne en enfer

    Mon capital de bas noirs
Tu changes de fille tous les soirs
Et dans les bulles de cristal
Me balances les fleurs du mal

    Tu me manques terriblement
    Tu me manques passionnément
    Tu me manques, c'est fascinant
    Paris, t'es si belle encore
    Paris, tu changes de décor
    Paris, tu ressembles à personne

    Ma capitale de douleur
    Vienne la nuit, sonne l'heure
    Un rouge baiser, un miroir
    Tout redevient provisoire

    Paris, t'as des yeux gris-bleus
T'es plutôt brune à mes yeux
    Entre Desnos et Prévert
    Tu choisis Apollinaire

    Tu me manques terriblement
    Tu me manques passionnément
    Tu me manques, c'est fascinant
    Paris, t'es si belle encore
    Paris, tu changes de décor
    Paris, tu ressembles à personne

Je t'aime, ma fille de faubourg
    Avec tes chansons d'amour
    Je t'aime, vipère du trottoir
Plumant le micheton dans le noir

    Mon ange exterminateur
    T'es dure avec le malheur
Tu fais de cadeaux à personne
    Et là, Paris, tu déconnes

    Tu me manques terriblement
    Tu me manques passionnément
    Tu me manques, c'est fascinant
    Paris, t'es si belle encore
    Paris, tu changes de décor
    Paris, tu ressembles à personne

    Paris, j'veux pas qu'on t'épouse
    Reste infidèle et jalouse
    Paris, tu ressembles à personne

    Santa's On His Way
    Composer(s): Dave Anthony; Bill Phillips

    Kitty Wells; Bob Wills

Christmas is always my favorite time of year
    Sleighbell’s ringin’ jingle lingin’
    Christmas time is near
Can’t wait to build a snowman
    And play outside all day
    Nothing could be better
    I gotta write a letter
    Santa’s on his way

    Christmas time is always
    A special time of year
A time for joy and happiness
    And lots of Christmas cheer

Can’t wait to decorate the tree
    That we brought home today
    Nothin’ could be better
    I gotta write a letter
    Santa’s on his way

    Christmas time is always
    A special time of year
A time for joy and happiness
    And lots of Christmas cheer

So have a very Merry Christmas
    And a jolly happy day
    Nothin’ could be better
    I gotta write a letter
    Santa’s on his way

    Santa’s on his way
    Santa’s on his way

    Scorn Not His Simplicity
    Composer(s): Phil Coulter; Bill Martin
    Performer(s): Phil Coulter
    and multiple other artists

    See the child
    With the golden hair
Yet eyes that show the emptiness inside
    Do we know
Can we understand just how he feels
    Or have we really tried

    See him now
    As he stands alone
And watches children play a children's game
    Simple child
He looks almost like the others
Yet they know he's not the same

    Scorn not his simplicity
But rather try to love him all the more
    Scorn not his simplicity
    Oh no
    Oh no

    See him stare
    Not recognizing the kind face
    That only yesterday he loved
    The loving face
Of a mother who can't understand what she's been guilty of

How she cried, tears of happiness
the day the doctor told her it's a boy
Now she cries tears of helplessness
and thinks of all the things he can't enjoy

    Scorn not his simplicity
But rather try to love him all the more
    Scorn not his simplicity
    Oh no
    Oh no

Only he knows how to face the future hopefully
    Surrounded by despair
He won't ask for your pity or your sympathy
    But surely you should care

    Scorn not his simplicity
But rather try to love him all the more
    Scorn not his simplicity
    Oh no
    Oh no
    Oh no

Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen

    Santa And The Doodle-Li-Boop
    Composer(s): Alan Abel
    Performer(s): Art Carney

Once upon a time there was a little boy named Tommy
one day he wrote a letter to Santa Claus up in the North Pole
and said:"Dear Santa I've been a good little boy all year
so I am writing you now to say

    All I want for Christmas is a Doodle-li-Boop, a Doodle-li-Boop, a Doodle-li-Boop
    All I want for Christmas is a Doodle-li-Boop, Doop billy-bee-ala, Doodle-li-Boop"

When Santa read the letter he was very much surprised because
he hadn't had anyone asking for a Doodle-li-Boop in a long time
It was the day before Christmas, so he went to the toy factory
and went looking for a Doodle-li-Boop, he looked high and
he looked low but there was no single Doodle-li-Boop in sight
Santa went through the toy factory singing

    "Has anybody seen a Doodle-li-Boop, a Doodle-li-Boop, a Doodle-li-Boop?
    Has anybody seen a Doodle-li-Boop, Doop billy-bee-ala, Doodle-li-Boop?"

When none of his helpers know where there might be a Doodle-li-Boop in sight
so Santa went home slowly and sadly, singing

    "Oh, where, oh where is a Doodle-li-Boop, a Doodle-li-Boop, a Doodle-li-Boop?
Oh, where, oh where is a Doodle-li-Boop, Doop billy-bee-ala, Doodle-li-Boop?"

When Santa came home, Mrs. Santa Claus opened the door and said to him
"Santa you look so tired and unhappy
    What's wrong?"

    Santa said
    "Little Tommy asked for a Doodle-li-Boop, a Doodle-li-Boop, a Doodle-li-Boop
    Little Tommy asked for a Doodle-li-Boop, Doop billy-bee-ala, Doodle-li-Boop"

"But there's none in sight anywhere and it's almost time for delivering my Christmas toys"
Why don't you look into the closet?
    Said Mrs. Santa Claus
With a start Santa jumped up and ran over to the closet, opened the door
and out came hundreds of Doodle-li-Boops
picking one up and putting it quickly in his bag
Santa went on his way to deliver his Christmas toys, singing

    "Little Tommy is gonna get a Doodle-li-Boop, a Doodle-li-Boop, a Doodle-li-Boop
    Little Tommy is gonna get a Doodle-li-Boop, a Doodle-li-Boop, a Doodle-li-Boop

    Scissor Man

First release by: XTC - 1979

Snipping, snipping, snipping goes the scissor man
Putting end to evil doers games
Snipping, snipping, snipping goes the scissor man
Maybe you are in his book of names
Maybe you are in his book of names

So be kind and helpful to your mother
Just think twice before you try and steal
When he cuts with sticky silver snippers
You may find the wounds will never heal

    All self made bad boys
If you refuse to believe he exist
You won't be frightened when you find out
    You're on his list
    You're on his list
    You're on his list

So be good and never poison people
Just think twice before the deed is done
When you wake up guilty in the morning
You may find important pieces gone

    Pardons
    Composer(s): Jacques Brel; Jacques Vigouroux
    Performer(s): Jacques Brel

    Pardon pour cette fille
    Que l'on a fait pleurer
    Pardon pour ce regard
    Que l'on quitte en riant
    Pardon pour ce visage
    Qu'une larme a changé
    Pardon pour ces maisons
    Où quelqu'un nous attend
Et puis pour tous ces mots
    Que l'on dit mots d'amour
    Et que nous employons
    En guise de monnaie
    Et pour tous les serments
    Qui meurent au petit jour
    Pardon pour les jamais
    Pardon pour les toujours

    Pardon de ne plus voir
    Les choses comme elles sont
    Pardon d'avoir voulu
    Oublier nos vingt ans
    Pardon d'avoir laissé
    S'oublier nos leçons
    Pardon de renoncer
    A nos renoncements
    Et puis de se terrer
    Au milieu de sa vie
    Et puis de préférer
    Le salaire de Judas
    Pardon pour l'amitié
    Pardon pour les amis

    Pardon pour les hameaux
    Qui ne chantent jamais
    Pardon pour les villages
    Que l'on a oubliés
    Pardon pour les cités
    Où nul ne se connaît
    Pardon pour les pays
    Faits de sous-officiers
    Pardons d'être de ceux
    Qui se foutent de tout
    Et de ne pas avoir
    Chaque jour essayé
    Et puis pardon encore
    Et puis pardon surtout
    De ne jamais savoir
    Qui doit nous pardonner

    Same Old Lang Syne
    Composer(s): Dan Fogelberg
Performer(s): Dan Fogelberg; Mari L. McCarthy; Jim Wilson

Met my old lover in the grocery store
The snow was falling, Christmas Eve
I stole behind her in the frozen foods
And I touched her on the sleeve

She didn't recognize the face at first
But then her eyes flew open wide
She went to hug me and she spilled her purse
And we laughed until we cried

We took her groceries to the checkout stand
The food was totalled up and bagged
We stood there lost in our embarrassment
    As the conversation dragged

We went to have ourselves a drink or two
But couldn't find an open bar
We bought a sixpack at the liquor store
And we drank it in her car

We drank a toast to innocence
We drank a toast to now
And tried to reach beyond the emptiness
    But neither one knew how

She said she'd married her an architect
Who kept her warm and safe and dry
She would have liked to say she loved the man
But she didn't like to lie

I said the years had been a friend to her
And that her eyes were still as blue
But in those eyes I wasn't sure
If I saw doubt or gratitude

We drank a toast to innocence
We drank a toast to time
    Reliving in our eloquence
    Another 'auld lang syne'...

The beer was empty and our tongues were tired
And running out of things to say
She gave a kiss to me as I got out
And I watched her drive away

Just for a moment I was back at school
And felt that old familiar pain
And as I turned to make my way back home
    The snow turned into rain
    The snow turned into rain

Then at a deadly pace, It Came From Outer Space
And this is how the message ran.....

    Same Old Christmas
    Composer(s): C. Midnight; M. Swersky
    Performer(s): Hilary Duff

Rows of angels in the snow
Hugs and kisses by the mistletoe
    Sugarplum fairies everywhere
Must be that time of year

Stars that shine on christmas trees
    Smoke that curls from chim-i-neys
    Rednose reindeer taking flight
And choirs singing O Holy Night

It's the same old, same old Christmas Eve
It's the same old Christmas Day
It's the same old, same old Christmas
But I like it, I like it that way

Another snowman with a button nose
Presents all wrapped up in bows
Friends and neighbors knockin' at my door
Like every Christmas that's come before

It's the same old, same old Christmas Eve
It's the same old Christmas Day
It's the same old, same old Christmas
But I like it, I like it that way

    Seasons keep on changin'
    The snow will melt away
But everything will be the same again
    Next year on Christmas Day
And I like it, I like it that way

Rows of angels in the snow
Hugs and kisses by the mistletoe
Friends and neighbors knockin' at my door
Like every christmas that's come before

It's the same old, same old Christmas Eve
It's the same old Christmas Day

    Schreeuw In De Nacht
    Performer(s): Liliane Saint-Pierre

    Akelige dingen
    Zijn me aan 't beklimmen
    Ik weet niet eens
    Waarom ik hier loop

    Harde koude woorden

    Vaak m'n toevlucht hoorde
    Nu dynamiet
    In rook opgegaan

    Sailing Home For Christmas
    Composer(s): Lewis Anderson
    Performer(s): Doug Stone

    They looked out their windows
At the ocean that surrounds them
In the service of their country
    Sailin' to a foreign shore
    Tomorrow will be Christmas
And they wish that they could be home
Their wives and children need them
But their country needs them more

But, they'll be sailin' home for Christmas
    Sailin' home for Christmas
Where a welcome candle in the window gleams
They'll be sailin' home for Christmas
    Sailin' home for Christmas
Sailin' home for Christmas in their dreams

    Tomorrow they'll serve turkey
And they'll sing the Christmas carols
    They'll talk about their family
    Their mothers and their sons
    It's the strangest contradiction
Singin' songs of peace and sharing
As they man the battle weapons
    Hopin' war will never come

But, they'll be sailin' home for Christmas
    Sailin' home for Christmas
Where a welcome candle in the window gleams
They'll be sailin' home for Christmas
    Sailin' home for Christmas
Sailin' home for Christmas in their dreams

Maybe someday they won't have to
    Be there anymore
When they all start to live the things
    We have Christmas for

They'll be sailin' home for Christmas
    Sailin' home for Christmas
Where a welcome candle in the window gleams
They'll be sailin' home for Christmas
    Sailin' home for Christmas
Sailin' home for Christmas in their dreams

    School's Out
Composer(s): Alice Cooper; Michael Bruce; Glen Buxton; Dennis Dunawa; Neal Smith
First release by: Alice Cooper - 1972
    Covered by multiple other artists

    Well, we got no choice
    All the girls and boys
    Makin' all that noise
    'Cause they found new toys
    Well, we can't salute ya
    Can't find a flag
    If that don't suit ya
    That's a drag

    School's out for summer
    School's out forever
    School's been blown to pieces

    No more pencils
    No more books
    No more teacher's dirty looks

    Well, we got no class
    And we got no principles
    And we got no innocence
We can't even think of a word that rhymes

    School's out for summer
    School's out forever
    School's been blown to pieces

    No more pencils
    No more books
    No more teacher's dirty looks
    Out for summer
    Out 'til fall
We might not go back at all

    School's out forever
    School's out for summer
    School's out with fever
    School's out completely

    Rusty Chevrolet
    Composer(s): Jim DeCaire; Joe Potila
Performer(s): Da Yoopers; The Deer Hunters

Dashing through the snow in my rusty Chevrolet
Down the road I go, sliding all the way
    I need new piston rings
I need some new snow tires
My car is held together by a piece of chicken wire!

Oh, rust and smoke, the heater's broke, the door just blew away
I light a match to see the dash and then I start to pray-ay
The frame is bent, the muffler went, the radio's okay
Oh, what fun it is to drive this rusty Chevrolet!

I went to IGA, to get some Christmas cheer
I just passed up my left front tire and it's gettin' hard to steer
Speeding down the highway, right past the county cops
I have to drag my swampers just to get the car to stop

Oh, rust and smoke, the heater's broke, the door just blew away
I light a match to see the dash and then I start to pray-ay
The frame is bent, the muffler went, the radio's okay
Oh, what fun it is to drive this rusty Chevrolet!

Bouncing through the snowdrifts in a big, blue cloud of smoke
People laugh as I drive by; I wonder what's the joke!
I have to get to Wal-Mart to pick up my layaway
Cause Santa's comin' soon in his big, old, rusty sleigh!

Oh, rust and smoke, the heater's broke, the door just blew away
I light a match to see the dash and then I start to pray-ay
The frame is bent, the muffler went, the radio's okay
Oh, what fun it is to drive this rusttttttttty Chevroooooooleeeeeet!
