Over mijzelf

Ticket To Heaven

I can see what you\'re looking to find in the smile on my face
In my peace of mind, in my state of grace
I send what I can to the man from the ministry
He\'s a part of heaven\'s plan and he talks to me

Now I send what I can to the man with the diamond ring
He\'s a part of heaven\'s plan and he sure can sing
Now it\'s all I can afford but the lord has sent me eternity
It\'s to save the little children in a poor country

I got my ticket to heaven and everlasting life
I got a ride all the way to paradise
I got my ticket to heaven and everylasting life
All the way to paradise

Now there\'s nothing left for luxuries
Nothing left to pay my heating bill
But the good lord will provide, I know he will
So send what you can to the man with the diamond ring
They\'re tuning in across the land to hear him sing

I got my ticket to heaven and everlasting life
I got a ride all the way to paradise
I got my ticket to heaven and everlasting life
All the way to paradise, all the way to paradise.

Tears in heaven

Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same if I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on,
'Cause I know I don't belong
here in heaven.

Would you hold my hand if I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand if I saw you in heaven?
I'll find my way through night and day,
'Cause I know I just can't stay
here in heaven.

Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees,
Time can break your heart, have you begging please,
begging please.

Beyond the door there's peace I'm sure,
And I know there'll be no more
tears in heaven.

Would you know my name if I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same if I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on,
'Cause I know I don't belong
here in heaven.
