The first time.
I started of the farm with the tractor and a scattermachine filled with fertilizer towards a distant meadow for to manure it.
Arrived there I got off the tractor, and was between the tractor and the machine because to adjust the height of the machine,that I could make by put my hand in a opening.I pushed the button on high,but too much.The hydraulic arm came onhigh and my hand set firm vast in the opening and between the hydraulic arm.I hadnt so much pain but I didnt manage to deliver with my left hand my right hand; and what now?I watched round over the fields,but nobody to see.It is a strange feeling to be alone and helpless.I tried again an attempt to deliver my right hand,and with an extreme effort I could push down the button and I was saved.But what would be happened if I didnt managed to deliver myself?It would be lasted hours before anyone came to me.
Years later came the second time.
The same case in the same opening behind the tractor,but nowI had pushed the handle higher and my right wrist was pinched between the sharp edge of the sheet iron opening and the hydraulic arm;I had a lot of pain.I thought if I now came unconscious my arm will be broken.This time I was close by the farm,about 50 m and also close by the way.With somewhat difficulty I could beckon with my left hand to the passed cars,but seeming nobody saw it.A neighbour had marked something and had returned with her car.At last saving of two sides.My son Frank had also heard my cry for help,and came fast.Now was my greatest worry,Frank would push the button of the hydraulic lift in the good direction,to below.I called to him the button on below!.A secnd later my arm was rescued and not broken.I massaged my wrist because to abate the pain.I thanked the neighbour for her return with the car.she asked if she should inform a doctor,butI assured her it wasnt need. Thus Icould again drive the tractor.Frank said he should one day weld this opening,but it is not still happened.I need this opening still always,but I am very prudent when I use it.
It is now 12-4-2000 ,but the first time happened 11 years ago and the second time 3years ago.
Well, so much for that.
