This is a little number I finished a while ago, but couldnt post until now. I was waiting on the images from Mr. Photographer. And now that I have them, so do you. Im going to edit this post and add the pattern (for free) a little later today. Im in a rush and have to get to the dentist by 9am. Nothing like squeaky clean teeth. Dirtay mouth? Clean it up!

- US 13 needle, straight or circular
- 1 skein Burly Spun yarn in Lime Green
- Cable needle
- 3 large white buttons Style #35997 Size 60 L / 38 mm (purchase here)
Gauge: 4.5 sts = 2″ on US 13 in seed stitch
CO 20 sts. Slip the first stitch of every row purlwise and knit the last st of every row to create selvedge edge.
RW 1: Sl 1, p1, k4, p1, est seed st pattern - k,p,k,p x 6 sts, then p1, k4, p1, k1.
RW 2: Sl 1, k1, p4, k1, seed st x 6 sts, k1, p4, k2.
RW 3: as RW 1
RW 4: as RW 2
RW 5: Sl 1, p1, c4b, p1, 6 seed sts, p1, c4f, p1, k1.
RW 6: as RW 2
Work RWS 1-6 until piece measures approx 23″, or until 13 cables have been worked. Finish with RW 6. Work 4 rws in all seed st, starting with sl1, k1, p1

Next row (RS buttonholes) - Sl 1, k1, p1, BO next 2 sts, *p1, k1, p1, BO next 2 sts, rep from * once more ending with p1, k1.
Next row (WS) - Sl 1, p1, k1, *CO 2 [p1, k1] twice, rep from * ending with CO 2, p1, k2.
Return to seed stitch and work 3 more rows, then BO all stitches in pattern.
Wrap around your neck and mark where you want the buttons, keeping in mind where the button holes are. And stay warm this summer, for petes sake.
