    Heden heb ik wegens een lichte ongesteldheid niet kunnen aanwezig zijn in BRUSEL

    1)-  De werkgroep van BENELUX betreffende de voorstellen van de aanpassing van het SCHENGEN VERDRAG
    Ik was in de jaren 80 betrokken bij de voorbereidingen wat betrefd de LUCHTVAART ten behoeve van GENERAL AVIATION

    2)-  Was ook niet beschikbaar om aanwezig te zijn bij het  PAUL TISSANDIER COMITE voor 2011 voorstel onder voorzitterschap van V WIEME van de KACB

    AOPA-BELGIUM bestaat nog steeds.....MAAR wegens de PASIEVE houding van AOPA-BELGIUM geef ik het ADVIES voor;

    NEDERLANDSTALIGE om AOPA-NEDERLAND te vervoegen, buiten het zeer intresante tijdschrift  " PILOTS & PLANES"  krijgt men bij de EERSTE SOLO een 12 maanden GRATIS LIDMAATSCHAP mits een formulier in te dienen binnen de 90 dagen door uw INSTRUCTEUR

    FRANSTALIGEN zijn het best bij AOPA-FRANCE

    Houders van FAA vergunningen en vliegend op "N" geregistreerde vliegtuigen vervoegen best AOPA-USA

    DUITSTALIGE raad ik aan AOPA-GERMANY te vervoegen

    I myself was aprochret in 1980  by DOC
     
    (   the IAOPA president in 1980)
     
    to develop a  united strong   profesional  organisation presence
     
    of GENERAL AVIATION  (the at thad time ICAO definition)
      
    at the EEC project,  in BRUSSELS  instead of
     
    the variuos very wel organised  but individual on
     
    VOLUNTARY FREE LANCERS promoting the
     
    GENERAL AVIATION intrest , now the new ICAO definition

    ( now GENERAL AVIATION & AERIAL WORK OPERATIONS )

    via the NATIONAL AOPA's based on their own knowledge

    and many times  traveling and lodging on their own cost

    In 1990 dit I open a ICAO-EUR office at

    ANTWERP AIRPORT on a voted  budget to be
     
    made avaible from the 36 NATIONAL AOPA's

     I rented a office at EBAW of YOUTH and AVIATION
     
    and engaged a first  employer for the secretariat work a expert
     
    in the ENGLISCH LANGUAGE

    and evaluated the avaiblity of a number profesional experts
     
    for the future I obtained very strong support from the

    AOPA-USA team.

    .........but the 15 AOPA,s  at the EEC  dit not support the

    NEW OFFICE by a homogene  input and
     
    GUIDING RESOLUTIONS  ,

    also the voted fees from a number of  NATIONAL AOPA's

    where not transfered, and after six months I had to close the
     
    EEC-OFICE


    I continued to be almost daily present in the various

    EC INSTITUTIONS in   BRUSSELS and occasionaly in

    other locations of the futher developing EC,
     
    and making input in vieuw of my personnel experience suported

    by NATIONAL EXPERTS  who where trying to

    impose their  NATIONAL  UK,  GERMAN or FRENCH 

    intrest,  without having knowledge of the aproche 

    and needs of the other NATIONALITY's

    In 2004 I handed over the representation to a team of

    FOUR NATIONAL-AOPA  EXPERTS,

    who are ocasinaly present in the EU-INSTITUTIONS

    A NUMBER of problems

    for

    GENERAL AVIATION 
    &
    AERIAL WORK

    ARE RESULTING of this
     uncoordinated aproche

    again a strong suspection against GENERAL AVIATION as a possible means for traveling

    of the CLANDESTINE TRAVELER  inside the EU  since they can land on the
     
    many smaller  AIRFIELDS  in the EU  wher ther  is no authority present??

    NON CAT AIRSPACE USERS

    To fomow very closely the proposed ADAPTION on the SCHENGEN

    introduced by the FRENCH ADMINISTRATION

    And mainly the part concerning the VFR operations inside the EU MEMBERSTATES

    I hope to obtain more information during my visit to BRUSSELS  COREPER delegate of the

    MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS of the BENELUX
