To See You Is To Love You

To See You Is To Love You
Composer(s): Johnny Burke - Jimmy Van Heusen
Performer(s): Bing Crosby
To see you is to love you
And I see you everywhere
In the sunrise in the moon glow
Any place I look you're there
To see you is to want you
And I see you all the time
On a sidewalk, in a doorway
On a lonely stairs I climb
Someday let me show you
How happy endings start
You'll find how well I know you
'cause to know you at all is to know you by heart
To see you is to love you
And you're never out of sight
And I love you and I'll see you
In the same old dream tonight
To see you is to love you
And you're never out of sight
And I love you and I'll see you
In the same old dream tonight

I Don't Love You Anymore

I Don't Love You Anymore
Composer(s): Bill Anderson
Performer(s): Charlie Louvin
I don`t love you anymore
not the way I did before
and since you`ve found someone new
I think it`s best
I don`t cry and walk the floor
I don`t love you anymore
Trouble is I don`t love you any less
I don`t love you anymore
for I`ve got no more love to give
you drained my heart of all its love
with every sweet caress
I keep sayin` o`er and o`er
`I don`t love you anymore`
Trouble is I don`t love you any less
I held you close to me one time
Kissed your lips and called you mine
But another came and thrilled you more, I guess
I cried as you walked out the door
`I don`t love you anymore`
Trouble is I don`t love you any less
I don`t love you anymore,
For I`ve got no more love to give
You drained my heart of all its love
With every sweet caress
I keep sayin` o`er and o`er
`I don`t love you anymore`
Trouble is I don`t love you any less

Jennifer Juniper

Jennifer Juniper
Composer(s): Donovan Leitch
Performer(s): Donovan;
Patrick Burke; Joel Grey; Jim Horn
Jennifer Juniper lives upon the hill
Jennifer Juniper, sitting very still
Is she sleeping? I don't think so
Is she breathing? Yes, very low
Whatcha doing, Jennifer, my love?
Jennifer Juniper, rides a dappled mare
Jennifer Juniper, lilacs in her hair
Is she dreaming? Yes, I think so
Is she pretty? Yes, ever so
Whatcha doing, Jennifer, my love?
I'm thinking of what it would be like if she loved me
You know just lately this happy song it came along
And I like to somehow try and tell you
Jennifer Juniper, hair of golden flax
Jennifer Juniper longs for what she lacks
Do you like her? Yes, I do, Sir
Would you love her? Yes, I would, Sir
Whatcha doing Jennifer, my love?
Jennifer Juniper, Jennifer Juniper, Jennifer Juniper
Jennifer Juniper vit sur la colline
Jennifer Juniper assise très tranquille
Dort-elle? Je ne crois pas
Respire-t-elle? Oui, mais tout bas
Qu'est-ce que tu fais, Jenny mon amour?
Jennifer Juniper, Jennifer Juniper, Jennifer Juniper

The Dicky Bird Hop

The Dicky Bird Hop
Composer(s): Ronald Gourley - Leslie Sarony
Performer(s): Gracie Fields
Oh, the chirruping of the birdies on the sycamore tree
They're lucky to be so happy and free
I know that the chirruping sounds a little different to me
I hear them saying early ev'ry morn, "Get up! Get up! Get up!"
The chirruping of the birdies on the sycamore tree
It's lovely to see them having a spree
A cheeky one this morning popped up on the sill and said
"Get out of bed!"
Hopping about, skipping about, flopping about
And nipping about the whole day through
And the funny little things they do
Oh, I know they would amuse you too
Flying a bit, doing a jig, looking for grit
Pecking a twig, their necks all screwed
And I seem to hear them say, "Get out of bed, shift your lazy head
Don't you know that Nippy want's his little piece of bread"
Aah-aah-aah-aah-aah-aah-aah-aaaaaaaaaaaahhhh
Aah-aah-aah-ahh-aah-aah-aah-aaaaaaaaaaaahhhh
Aah-aah, ah-aah, ah-aah, ah-aah, get out of bed!
Oh, the chirruping of the birdies in the sycamore tree
They're lucky to be so happy and free
I know that the chirruping sounds a little different to me
I hear them saying early ev'ry morn, "Get up! Get up! Get up!"
The chirruping of the birdies on the sycamore tree
It's lovely to see them having a spree
So off I went and threw a piece of bread upon the lawn
The bread was Gone! Gone! Gone! Gone!
The bread was gone!

I Don't Like To Sleep Alone

I Don't Like To Sleep Alone
Composer(s): Paul Anka
Performer(s): Paul Anka
I don't like to sleep alone
Stay with me
Don't go
Talk with me for just a while
So much of you to get to know
Reaching out touching you
Leaving all the worries behind
Loving you
My mouth on yours and yours on mine
Marry me
Let me live with you
Nothing's wrong and love is right
Like a man says in his song
Help me make it through the night
Loneliness can get you down
When you get to thinking no one cares
Lean on me
And I'll lean on you
Together we will see it through
No, I don't like to sleep alone
It's sad to think some folks do
No I don't like to sleep alone
No one does
Do you?
No, I don't like to sleep alone
It's sad to think some folks do
No I don't like to sleep alone
No one does
Do you?

Jennifer Jennings
Jennifer Jennings
First performance by: Louis Neefs - 1969
Jij kwam, Jennifer Jennings
Want jij, Jennifer Jennings
Je bent precies wat ik droomde voor mij
Ja dan kom jij, Jennifer Jennings
En blauwe ogen die lachen naar mij
Maar jij, Jennifer Jennings
Je danste telkens en telkens voorbij
Voorbij, altijd voorbij
Steeds weer voorbij
Hopeloos voorbij

To Say I Love You

To Say I Love You
Composer(s): Harvey Averne - Raphael Pagan
Performer(s): Ralfi Pagan
To say I love you
It's a beautiful sound
Oh, the heavens must have sent you
And my love has been found
When you're near me
I feel so much joy
But when you're gone
I'm a sad and lonely boy
I think of you
When we're apart
And there is so much sadness in my heart
To say I love is all that I can do
Please say you love me
And oh, oh, don't say no
To say I love you
Is all that I can do
I think of you when we're apart
And there is so much sadness in my heart
To say I love you is all that I can do
Please say you love me
And oh, oh, don't say no
To say I love you is all that I can do
To say I love you is all that I can say
But to show you how much I love you
That's something I try to do each and every day
When you're in my arms, my body comes to life
And when we love, oh when we love
It's so nice
You know how much I love you, don't you honey
Without you, life is barely night and day
All work and no play
But that ain't the way
No it isn't
I said no it isn't, little girl
Oh little girl I love you
I love you 'cause you're fine

I Don't Like Mondays

I Don't Like Mondays
Composer(s): Bob Geldof
First release by: The Boomtown Rats - 1979
Covered by multiple other artists
The silicon chip inside her head
Gets switched to overload
And nobody's gonna go to school today
She's gonna make them stay at home
And daddy doesn't understand it
He always said she was good as gold
And he can see no reason
Cos there are no reasons
What reasons do you need to be shown
Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
I want to shoot
The whole day down
The telex machine is kept so clean
And it types to a waiting world
And Mother feels so shocked
Father's world is rocked
And their thoughts turn to
Their own little girl
Sweet 16 ain't that peachy keen
No it ain't so neat to admit defeat
They can see no reasons
Cos there are no reasons
What reasons do you need oh oh oh oh
Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
I want to shoot
The whole day down, down, down
Shoot it all down
And now the playing's stopped in the playground now
She wants to play with her toys awhile
And school's out early and soon we'll be learning
And the lesson today is how to die
And then the bullhorn crackles
And the captain tackles
With the problems and the how's and why's
And he can see no reasons
Cos there are no reasons
What reason do you need to die, die, oh oh oh
And the silicon chip inside her head
Gets switched to overload
And nobody's gonna go to school today
She's gonna make them stay at home
And daddy doesn't understand it
He always said she was good as gold
And he can see no reasons
Cos there are no reasons
What reason do you need to be shown
Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
Tell me why
I don't like, I don't like
I don't like Mondays
Tell me why
I don't like, I don't like
I don't like Mondays
Tell me why
I don't like Mondays
I want to shoot

Jennifer Eccles

Jennifer Eccles
Composer(s): Allan Clarke; Graham Nash
Performer(s): The Hollies; Eels
White chalk written on red brick
our love told in a heart
It's there, drawn in the playground
love, kiss, hate or adore
I love Jennifer Eccles
I know that she loves me
I love Jennifer Eccles
I know that she loves me
La la, la la la la la
la la, la la la la
La la, la la la la la
la la, la la la la
I used to carry her satchels
she used to walk by my side
But when we got to her doorstep
her dad wouldn't let me inside
One Monday morning
found out I'd made the grade
Started me thinkin'
"Have she done the same?"
La la, la la la la la
la la, la la la la
La la, la la la la la
la la, la la la la
One Monday morning
found out I'd made the grade
Started me thinkin'
"Have she done the same?"
I hope Jennifer Eccles
is goin' to follow me there
Our love is bound to continue
love, kiss, hate or adore
I love Jennifer Eccles
I know that she loves me
I love Jennifer Eccles
I know that she loves me
La la, la la la la la
la la, la la la la
La la, la la la la la
la la, la la la la
La la, la la la la la

(Here comes the Devil)
The devil with the Devil says I
(Look out for the Devil)
(Look out for the Devil)
(Look out for the Devil)
The devil with the Devil says I
Always givin' me the dickens
Tellin' me that life's no easy pickin's
But as long as I have fun
Well, the devil with the Devil says I
So afraid of Old Man Sin
Now why don't you stop your hesitatin'
Gonna be a long time dead
So the devil with the Devil says I
You can have your socialties
And bingo for your fun
But the things I like to do
You stop me, one by one
Even if it makes me stronger
Well, it ain't gonna make me live no longer
Even if I do go wrong
Well, the devil with the Devil says I
Always givin' me the dickens
Tellin' me that life's no easy pickin's
But as long as I have fun
Well the devil with the Devil says I
So afraid of Old Man Sin
Now why don't you stop your hesitatin'

Jennie, Jennie (Swedish Version)

Jennie, Jennie
Composer(s): Lars Berghagen
Performer(s): Lars Berghagen
Jennie, Jennie, Jennie, Jennie
Världen väntar på ditt svar
Jennie, Jennie, Jennie, Jennie
Livet har så mycket kvar att ge dig
Jennie, Jennie, Jennie, Jennie
Melodin bestämmer du
Jennie, Jennie, Jennie, Jennie
Lev ditt liv och lev det nu
Du vill vända tillbaka i kväll
Till den värld du levt i förut
Men din dagbok i handen
Är som tecken i sanden
Som havet nästan suddat ut
Jennie, Jennie, Jennie, Jennie.....
Jennie, Jennie, Jennie, Jennie.....
Jennie, Jennie, Jennie, Jennie.....

To Morrow

To Morrow
Composer(s): Bob Gibson
Performer(s): Bob Gibson; The Kingson Trio
I started on a journey, about a year ago
To a little town called Morrow I was going from Glasgow
I've never been much of a traveller, so I really didn't know
That Morrow was the hardest place I'd ever try to go!
I went down to the station for my ticket and applied
For tips regarding Morrow not expecting to be guyed (means fooled)
Said I," I'd like to go to Morrow and return
No later than tomorrow, for I haven't time to burn"
Said he to me, "now let me see if I have heard you right
You'd like to go to Morrow and return tomorrow night"
"You should have gone to Morrow yesterday and back today
For the train today to Morrow is a mile upon its way...
"If you had gone to Morrow yesterday now don't you see
You could have gone to Morrow and returned today at three
For the train today to Morrow, if the schedule is right
Today it goes to Morrow and returns tomorrow night
Said I," My friend, it seems to me you're talking through your hat
There is a town called Morrow on the line, now tell me that!"
"There is," said he, "but take from me a quiet little tip
To go from here to Morrow is a fourteen hour trip
"The train today to Morrow leaves today at 8:35
At half-past ten tomorrow is the time it should arrive
So if from here to Morrow is a fourteen hour jump
Can you get anywhere tomorrow and get back today, you chump?"
"Said I," I'd like to go to Morrow, so can I go today
And get to Morrow by tonight if there is no delay?"
"Well, well", said he to me, "and I've got no more to say
Can you get anywhere tomorrow and get back again today?"
Said I,"I guess you know it all, but kindly let me say
How can I get to Morrow if I leave this town today?"
Said he,"You cannot get to Morrow anymore today
For the train that goes to Morrow is a mile upon its way!"
I was so disappointed I was mad enough to swear
The train had gone to Morrow and it left me standing there
The man was right in tellin' me that I was a howlin' jay
I could not go to Morrow, so I guess in town I'll stay

I Don't Know Where I'm Going But I'm On My Way

I Don't Know Where I'm Going But I'm On My Way
Composer(s): George Fairman
Performer(s): Peerless Quartet
Goodbye everybody I'm off to fight the foe
Uncle Sammy is calling me so I must go
Gee I'm feeling fine don't you wish that you were me?
For I'm sailing tomorrow over the deep blue sea
Take a look at me I'm a Yankee thro' and thro'
I was born on July the Fourth in ninety two
And I'll march away with a feather in my hat
For I'm joining the army what do you think of that?
And I don't know where I'm going but I'm on my way
For I belong to the regulars I'm proud to say
And I'll do my duty-uty night or day
I don't know where I'm going but I'm on my way

The Archers' Song
The Archers' Song
Composer(s): Rudolf Friml - Brian Hooker
Performer(s): Charles Carver
There's a crook with a look like a book full of naughtiness
(Hi-ho-ho, the gallows tree)
With his boot full of loot and his heart full of haughtiness
(Hi-ho-ho and up goes he)
By day we'll take him tenderly by the door so
(By the torso)
Lead him straightway to the gallows tree
(And the Lord assoil his soul)
Whooagh! The boys have lost a brother
Whooagh! The Devil's caught another
There let him hang for a warning
Four and twenty crows (Arrhh!)
Pecking at his nose
Will he find repose, God knows!
There's a wench on a bench with a French kind of flossiness
(Hi-ho-ho, the gallows tree)
With a sly sort of eye and the sleek sort of sauciness
(Hi-ho-ho and up goes she)
Some dark night we'll catch her by the slack of her garter
(Hah, for a starter)
And march her off and never bring her back
(And the Lord assoil her soul)
Whooagh! There goes your little sister
Whooagh! Her brother never missed her
There let her hang for a warning
Four and twenty cats (Meaouw!)
Singing sharps and flats (Meaouw!)
Where will she be then, Amen!

I Don't Know Where I Stand

I Don't Know Where I Stand
Composer(s): Joni Mitchell
First release by: Fairport Convention - 1968
Covered by multiple other artists
Funny day, looking for laughter and finding it there
Sunny day, braiding wild flowers and leaves in my hair
Picked up a pencil and wrote "I love you" in my finest hand
Wanted to send it, but I don't know where I stand
Telephone, even the sound of your voice is still new
All alone in California and talking to you
And feeling too foolish and strange to say the words that I had planned
I guess it's too early, 'cause I don't know where I stand
Crickets call, courting their ladies in star-dappled green
Thickets tall, until the morning comes up like a dream
All muted and misty, so drowsy now I'll take what sleep I can
I know that I miss you, but I don't know where I stand
I know that I miss you, but I don't know where I stand
