Good Morning Freedom

Good Morning Freedom
Composer(s): Roger Cook;
Roger Greenaway; Albert Hammond; Lee Hazelwood
Performer(s): Elton John; Madeline Bell;
Blue Mink; Priscilla Coolidge;
Def Leppard; John Williams
Good morning world, it's a brand new day
I'm packin' my bags and I'm getting away
I'm movin' my legs and my city type bones
I gotta get away from the busy man's phones
Down in Malabu where the livin' is so wild and free
If you wanna get happy then people come along with me
A-bee-bow-bow-buppa-bow-bow-bow
A-move over boys, save a place for me
I'm gettin' so tired of the company
I'm gettin' black looks from the big white man
Gotta get away just as fast as I can
Down in Malabu where the livin' is so wild and free
If you wanna get happy then people come along with me
A-bee-bow-bow-buppa-bow-bow-bow
Good morning freedom
I gotta break away
Gotta break away
Gotta break away
Yeah, yeah
Good morning freedom
It's another day
It's another day
It's another day
Yeah, yeah
Good morning freedom
Yeah
A-bee-bow-bow-b-b-buppa-bow
All over the world it's the same old game
Official type livin' is the thing to blame
A-lovin' thy neighbour is a real live thing
There's only one way to get the people to sing
Down in Malabu where the livin' is so wild and free
If you wanna get happy then people come along with me
A-bee-bow-bow-buppa-bow-bow-bow
A-bee-bow-bow-bow-b-b-buppa-bow
A-bee-bow-bow-bow-buppa-b-bow-bow
Buppa-b-bow-bow
Buppa-b-bow-bow-a-bee-bow
Bow-buppa-bow-bow-bow
A-bee-bow........

Te Voy A Contar Mi Vida

Te Voy A Contar Mi Vida
Composer(s): Manuel Alejandro
Performer(s): Raphael
Antes, mucho antes de enamorarte
Mucho antes de encadenarte
Te voy a contar mi vida
Ahora con la aurora de este romance
Al principio de nuestro idilio
Te voy a contar mi vida
Quiero que te enteres de mis defectos
Los juzgues serenamente
Ahora que estás a tiempo
Para que me quieras como soy
Para que me quieras con delirio
Quiero que te enteres de mi vida
De mi mundo, de mis ansias, de mi fe
Antes, mucho antes de enamorarte
Mucho antes de encadenarte
Te voy a contar mi vida
Quiero que te enteres de mis defectos
Y los juzgues serenamente
Ahora que estás a tiempo
Para que me quieras como soy
Para que me quieras con delirio
Quiero que te enteres de mi vida
De mi mundo, de mis ansias, de mi fe
Antes, mucho antes de enamorarte
Mucho antes de encadenarte
Te voy a contar mi vida
Quiero que te enteres de mis defectos
Y los juzgues serenamente
Ahora que estás a tiempo
Ahora que estás a tiempo
Te voy a contar mi vida

My Daddy Is Only A Picture

My Daddy Is Only A Picture
Composer(s): Thomas Dilbeck
Performer(s): Eddy Arnold
I asked a little boy to call his Daddy
He said he couldn't and sighed
And when I asked him what was wrong
Here's what the boy replied
My Daddy's only a picture
In a frame that hangs on the wall
And when I talk to my Daddy
He never talks at all
I tell him all my secrets
And all my little plans
And by the way he smiles at me
I know that he understands
The angels took Daddy to heaven
When I was just going on three
I know he wouldn't leave us
If he knew how lonesome we'd be
I try to cheer up my Mommy
When the tears roll down her face
My Daddy's only a picture
But I'm trying to take his place

Good Morning Blues (Van Morrison)

Good Morning Blues
Composer(s): Huddie Ledbetter; Alan Lomax
Performer(s): Van Morrison
Good mornin' blues, blues how do ya do?
Good mornin' blues, blues how do ya do?
Well I'm doin' alright this mornin', how are you?
I woke up this mornin'
Couldn't get outta my bed
Oh I woke up this mornin'
Couldn't get you outta my bed
Went to eat my breakfast and
The blues was all in my bread
Good mornin' blues, blues how do you do?
Good mornin' blues, blues how do you do?
Well I'm doin' alright this mornin' how are you?
Well the blues ain't nothin' but a poor workin' man feelin' down
Lord, the blues ain't nothin' but a poor workin' man feelin' down
That's about the meagerest feelin' I done ever had
Why I'm singin' good mornin', blues blues how do you do?
(yeah yeah)
Good mornin' blues, blues how do you do? (yeah yeah)
Well I'm doin' alright this mornin', how are you?
Sent for you yesterday, here you come walkin' today (hey)
I sent for you yesterday, here you come walkin' today
Yeah, your mouth's wide open
You don't know what to say
(I say) Goodmornin' blues, blues how do you do? (yo yeah)
Well goodmornin' blues, blues how do you do? (hoo yeah)
Well I'm doin' alright, blues how are you?
Yeeeeeaaaah!

Te Vi Llorar

Te Vi Llorar
Composer(s): Chucho Monge
Performer(s): Emilio Gálvez; Las Hermanas Cortez

My Dad (Porter Wagoner)

My Dad
Composer(s): Porter Wagoner
Performer(s): Porter Wagoner
My daddy was a hard working farm man
With dirt on his hands most all his life
But inside my daddy's soul was as clean as white linen
And his heart was as pure as solid gold
Like most boys when I was growin' up
I wanted to be just like my dad
'Cause I felt that he had something
That very few people had
My daddy was just a simple man
He lived all his life on a little farm where I was born
He never had an education he didn't get to go to school
But he was the smartest man that I've ever known
I believe God must have been my daddy's teacher
For he talked a lot with him
And when dad found somethin' that he didn't understand
He'd ask God about it just like you'd ask a friend
Honesty was a word that my dad lived by
His word was his bond, it meant the same
That's why he could borrow money from the bank
Just by signin' his name
The first thing I remember learnin' from dad
Was the meaning of honesty
He said if you're honest, son
It means a whole lot more than you just won't lie or cheat
If you're honest you'll do unto others
Like you'd have them do unto you
And you'll always give more than just your share
In anything that you do
Honesty stands like a giant oak tree
With roots strong and deep in the sod
And if you're always honest with yourself son
It covers many of the commandments of God
Pride was another word that my dad lived by
He took pride in each thing and one that he told me why
He said always take pride in each thing you do, boy
No matter how small it may be
For God gave you the mind that you begin with
And take pride in each new thing that you see
And don't ever think that you're better than anyone
But always remember you're just as good as anybody son
And just because you're wearin' overalls with patches to cover each hole
Why it's not what's on the outside that makes a man boy
It's what's hidden deep in his soul
So always be honest and proud son in each thing that you do
And when you're in doubt about something ask God about it
'Cause he's always honest with you

Good Morning

Good Morning
Composer(s): Arthur Freed; Nacio Herb Brown
Performer(s): Judy Garland & Mickey Rooney;
and various other artists
Good morning, Good morning
We've danced the whole night through
Good morning, Good morning, to you
Good morning, Good morning
It's great to stay up late
Good morning, Good morning, to you
When the band began to play
The stars were shining bright
Now the milkman's on his way
It's too late to say goodnight
So good morning, good morning
Sunbeams will soon smile through
Good morning, Good morning, to you
When the band began to play
The stars were shining bright
Now the milkman's on his way
It's too late to say goodnight
So good morning
Sunbeams will soon smile through
Good morning, Good morning, to you
Good morning
good morning
It's too late to say goodnight
So say good morning

Te Veel, Te Vaak

Te Veel, Te Vaak
Composer(s): Piet Souer - Rob Krispijn
Performer(s): Liesbeth List

My Dad (Paul Petersen)

My Dad
Composer(s): Barry Mann; Cynthia Weil
Performer(s): Paul Petersen;
Bobby Vee; Davy Jones
He isn't much in the eyes of the world
He'll never make history
No, he isn't much in the eyes of the world
But he is the world to me
My dad, now here is a man
To me he is everything strong
No, he can't do wrong, my dad
My dad, now he understands
When I bring him troubles to share
Oh, he's always there, my dad
When I was small, I felt ten feet tall
When I walked by his side
And everyone would say, "That's his son"
And my heart would burst with pride
My dad, oh, I love him so
And I only hope that some day
My own son will say
"My dad, now here is a man"

Te Vas Porque Quieres

Te Vas Porque Quieres
Composer(s): Fredérico Baena
Performer(s): Javier Solís
and multiple other artists
Ahora me reprochas que no te he comprendido
Ahora me reprochas que no te he comprendido

Composer(s): Ronnie Harwood
Performer(s): Shakin' Stevens
I've got a girl I just love her so
More and more you gotta see her rock 'n roll
Well, she's my cutie cutie, well, she's my cutie cutie
My cutie cutie is a real fine talking doll
Well...Lips are like cherries, kisses like wine
When we touch she drives me crazy every time
My cutie cutie, well, its my cutie cutie
My cutie cutie is a real fine talking doll
Well and when we rock, whey and we roll
Oh, oh, well, my heart goes flippity flippity flop
Well, I'm in love, I'm in love and I just can't stop
My cutie cutie don't need powder or paint
She's like my heaven must be a saint
Well, it's my cutie cutie, well, it's my cutie cutie
My cutie cutie is a real fine talking doll
Ahh, here we go!
Well and when we rock, whey and we roll
Oh, oh, my heart goes flippity flippity flop
Well, I'm in love, I'm in love and I just can't stop
My cutie cutie don't need powder or paint
She's like my heaven must be a saint

Good Luck Charm

Good Luck Charm
Composer(s): Aaron Schroeder; Wally Gold
Performer(s): Elvis Presley;
and various other artists
Uh-huh huh, Uh-huh huh, Uh-huh huh, Oh yeh!
Don't want a four leaf clover
Don't want an old horse shoe
Want your kiss 'cause I just can't miss
With a good luck charm like you
Come on and be my little good luck charm
Uh-huh huh, you sweet delight
I want a good luck charm a-hanging on my arm
To have, to have, to hold, to hold tonight
Don't want a silver dollar
Rabbit's foot on a string
The happiness in your warm caress
No rabbit's foot can bring
Come on and be my little good luck charm
Uh-huh huh, you sweet delight
I want a good luck charm a-hanging on my arm
To have, to have, to hold, to hold tonight
Uh-huh huh, Uh-huh huh, Uh-huh huh, Oh yeh!
Uh-huh huh, Uh-huh huh, Tonight!
If I found a lucky penny
I'd toss it across the bay
Your love is worth all the gold on Earth
No wonder that I say
Come on and be my little good luck charm
Uh-huh huh, you sweet delight
I want a good luck charm a-hanging on my arm
To have, to have, to hold, to hold tonight
Uh-huh huh, Uh-huh huh, Uh-huh huh, Oh yeh!
Uh-huh huh, Uh-huh huh, Tonight!

Te Vas O Te Quedas

Te Vas O Te Quedas
Performer(s): José Alfredo Jiménez
Sólo falta que tú me desprecies
sólo falta que tú me traiciones
pa'quitarme de plano la vida
sólo falta que tu me abandones
Mis amigos por fiel me dejaron
cuanto amor he tenido me olvida
sólo falta que tu te me vayas
pa`quitarme de plano la vida
Tu has llegado a formar en mi mundo
la ilusión con que tanto soñaba
pero ya te me estás escapando
como todas te quieres portar
Yo no puedo obligarte a quererme
tú sabrás si por otro me dejas
yo no voy a labrar tu desgracia
tu sabras si te vas o te quedas
Tu has llegado a formar en mi mundo
la ilusión con que tanto soñaba
pero ya te me estás escapando
como todas te quieres portar
Yo no puedo obligarte a quererme
tú sabrás si por otro me dejas
yo no voy a labrar tu desgracia
tu sabras si te vas o te quedas

My Cup Runneth Over

My Cup Runneth Over
Composer(s): Tom Jones; Harvey Schmidt
Performer(s): The Ames Brothers
and various other artists
Sometimes in the morning, when shadows are deep
I lie here beside you, just watching you sleep
And sometimes I whisper, what I'm thinking of
My cup runneth over with love ...
Sometimes in the evening, when you do not see
I study the small things, you do constantly
I memorize moments, that I'm fondest of
My cup runneth over with love ...
In only a moment, we both will be old
We won't even notice the world turning cold
And so, in this moment, with sunlight above
My cup runneth over with love ...
With love ...

Te Tuer D'amour

Te Tuer D'amour
Composer(s): Michel Mallory - J. Ploquin
Performer(s): Sylvie Vartan
À genoux comme en prière
Déshabillé de dignité
Aujourd'hui voilà je t'aime
Je t'aime tu as gagné
Quand mes yeux deviennent tendres

My Crime

My Crime
Composer(s): Robert J. Hite Jr.; Skip Taylor;
Henry Vestine; Alan Wilson
Performer(s): Canned Heat
I went to Denver
Late last fall
I went to do my job
Yeah I didn't break any law
We worked a hippie place
Like many in our land
They couldn't bust the place
And so they got the band
`Cause the police in Denver
No, they don't want none of them long hairs hanging around
And that's the reason why
They want to tear Canned Heat's reputation down
You people in Denver
Will know what I mean
Yeah, the things I'm gonna tell ya
Yeah, you've all heard and seen
You remember when a cop on the beat
Used to rob and steal
Today they're gone, but the others get it on
So you know just how I feel
`Cause the police in Denver
Lord, they don't want none of them long hairs hanging around
And that's the reason why
They try to tear Canned Heat's reputation down
Yeah, they try to tear it down, boy
They ain't gonna do it though
Let me tell you this just one more time
Just one more thing I wanna tell ya
Before I go
It's a shame the Man in Denver
Has to lie and mistreat people so
Now six months ain't no sentence
One year ain't no time
When I hear from one to ten
It worries my troubled mind
`Cause the police in Denver
Lord, don't want no long hairs around
And that's the reason why
They try to tear Canned Heat's reputation down
