L'hôtesse De L'air

L'hôtesse De L'air
Composer(s): Jacques Dutronc - Jacques Lanzmann
First release by: Jacques Dutronc - 1969

Tyrolienne :
Loiloilo, loiloilo, loiloilolo lo
Loilololololo, loloiloiloilo
Loiloiloilo
Loiloiloilololo, loilololo...

Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
D'être une hôtesse de l'air
Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
De voir le bas d'en haut
Tout ma vie, j'ai rêvé
D'avoir des talons hauts
Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
D'avoir, d'avoir
Les fesses en l'air

L'avion est détourné
Détachez vos ceintures
Libérez vos complexes
Tenez-vous par l'index
Surveillez vos réflexes
En attendant l'aventure

Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
D'être une hôtesse de l'air
Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
De n'plus jamais passer
Par les bas et les hauts
De notre petite terre
Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
D'avoir, d'avoir
Les fesses en l'air

L'avion est détourné
Nous sommes en altitude
Perdez vos habitudes
Changez vos attitudes
Tout le monde se dénude
Fini la servitude

Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
D'être une hôtesse de l'air
Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
D'avoir des talons hauts
Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
De voir le bas d'en haut
Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
D'avoir, d'avoir
Les fesses en l'air

Fini le pilotage
Mais vive le pelotage
Fini le décollage
Mais vive le collage
L'avion est détourné
On en est tout retourné

Toute ma vie, j'ai révé
D'être une hôtesse de l'air
Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
D'avoir des talons hauts
Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
De voir le bas d'en haut
Toute ma vie, j'ai rêvé
D'avoir, d'avoir
Les fesses en l'air

Build Me Up, Buttercup

Build Me Up, Buttercup
Composer(s): Michael d'Abo; Tony Macaulay
Originally performed by: The Foundations
Covered by various other artists

Why do you build me up (Build me up)
Buttercup baby just to
let me down (Let me down)
And mess me around
And then worst of all (Worst of all)
You never call baby
When you say you will (Say you will)
But I love you still
I need you (I need you)
More than anyone darlin'
You know that I have from the start

So build me up (Build me up)
Buttercup
Don't break my heart
I'll be over at ten
You tell me time and again
But you're late
I wait around and then
I went to the door
I can't take any more
It's not you
You let me down again

Baby Baby
Try to find a little time
And I'll make you happy
I'll be home
I'll be waiting beside the phone
Waiting for you.

Why do you build me up....
To you I'm a toy
But I could be the boy
You adore
If you'd just let me know
Although you're untrue
I'm attracted to you
All the more
Why do I need you so Baby Baby.....

ooh ooh ooh
Why do you build me up .....

L'hôtel-Dieu

L'hôtel-Dieu

j'apportais quelques friandises

Performer(s): Corry Konings

even later gaat weer alles goed

((English Versions: Hotel Specific (by Mick Harvey) - 1996; L'Hôtel (by Michael Stipe) - 2006))
Composer(s): Serge Gainsbourg
First release by: Serge Gainsbourg - 1971
Covered by multiple other artists

Lentement j'enlace Melody

Build A Big Fence

Build A Big Fence
Composer(s): Chuck Taylor
Performer(s): Brenda Lee

Gonna build a big fence around my baby hum-hum oh yeah
Gonna build a big fence around my baby hum-hum oh yeah

I like everything that you do why honey that's why I'm in love with you
Gonna build a big fence around my baby so they can't steal my baby from me
I just love the way you sigh and the twinkle in your eye
There will never ever never be anyone else for me
For me (for me) for me (for me for me for me for me)
Gonna build a big fence...

Holy smokes and land sakes alive when he looks at me I get butterflies
Gonna build a big fence around my baby so they can't steal my baby from me

I just love the way you sigh...
Gonna build a big fence...
I'll gonna build this fence up to the sky just for me and my little sugar pie
Gonna build a big fence around my baby so they can't steal him away from me
So they can't steal my baby from me so they can't steal my baby from me

L'Hôtel

L'Hôtel ((aka Hotel Specific (by Mick Harvey) - 1996))
((Adapted from: L'hôtel Particulier (by Serge Gainsbourg) - 1971))
Composer(s): Serge Gainsbourg - Michael Stipe - Thomas Dozol
Performer(s): Michael Stipe - 2006

At 56-7-8-9...It doesn't matter
Of a well-known secret street, if you knock on the door
First once then three more knocks, you're let inside
Alone and sometimes even not alone

A maid, without saying a word, walk in front of you
With stairs, endless hallways, come one after another
Decorated with baroque bronzes, golden angels
Aphrodites and Salomés

If it's not already occupied, say that you want the 44
It's the room that here they call 'Cleopatra's'
On the columns of its bed, standing watch, rococo-style
Statues holding torches gaze below

And between these slaves, naked, carved with ebony
Who will be the silent witness of the scene
While above a mirror reflects us
Slowly I embrace Melody

Bugs Bunny & The Pirate

Bugs Bunny & The Pirate
Composer(s): Alan Livingston; Warren Foster
Performer(s): Mel Blanc

Yosemite Sam:
I'm Yosemite Sam the Pirate, and a buccaneer that's bold
I sail across the seven seas a-lookin' out for gold
When anyone gives me trouble, I makes him walk the plank
And I watch the perty bubbles come up from where they sank

Ya-ho Ya-ho Ya-ho-ho
Ya-ho Ya-ho Ya-ho
I sail the seas where ever I please
Where ever the tradewinds blow, yo-ho!

Bugs Bunny:
Oh, I'm glad that I'm a rabbit beacause I've got the habbit
Of chewing carrots all the live-long day!
I don't like potatoes, I never eat tomatoes
And I never envy horses eating hay

Every morning, noon, and nighttime, for carrots is the right time
My diet may be wrong, but what's the use?
Although I know I oughter, I even don't drink water
If I can get a glass of carrot juice!

L'homme Qui Marche

L'homme Qui Marche
Composer(s): Francis Cabrel
Performer(s): Francis Cabrel

Regardez bien
C'est le dernier
Nous on marchait avant
C'était y a longtemps
Regardez bien
C'est le dernier
Nous on marchait avant
C'était y a longtemps
On va rester longtemps
Regardez bien
C'est le dernier
Nous on marchait avant
C'était y a longtemps
C'est presque oublié
J'aimerais bien l'aider mais
C'est le dernier...
Derrière chaque fenêtre
Des visages se cachent
Tout le monde est venu
Voir passer l'homme qui marche

Performer(s): Peter Kraus

Schwarze Rose, Rosemarie
keine Rose blüht so wie sie
Wo der Missourie rauscht
sing ich ein Lied
Rosemarie

Schwarze Rose, Rosemarie
goldne Spangen kauf ich für sie
Doch, was sie andern sagt
sagt sie mir nie
Rosemarie, Rosemarie

Schwarze Rose, Rosemarie
keine Rose blüht so wie sie
Doch ihre Augen finden mich nie

L'homme Que J'aimerai

L'homme Que J'aimerai
Composer(s): Marcel Achard - Marguerite Monnot
Performer(s): Edith Piaf

Quand il me verra
Sûr qu'il me reconnaîtra
Il murmurera
"Tu es bien toujours la même..."
Alors, tous les deux
Nous serons peut-être heureux...
Mais quand je l'aurai
Cet amoureux dont je rêve
Je ne penserai
Qu'au jour où je le perdrai...
L'homme que j'aimerai ...

Bugs (Pearl Jam)

Bugs
Composer(s): Pearl Jam
Performer(s): Pearl Jam

I got Bugs
I got bugs in my room
Bugs in my bed
Bugs in my ears
Their eggs in my head
Bugs in my pockets
Bugs in my shoes
Bugs in the way
I feel...about you
Bugs at my window
Tring to get in
They don't go nowhere
Waiting...waiting
Bugs on my ceiling
Crowded the floor
Standing, sitting, kneeling
A few block the door
And now the questions
Do I kill them?
Become their friend?
Do I eat them?
Raw or Well done?
Do I trick them?
I don't think they're that dumb
Do I join them?
Looks like...that's the one?
I got bugs on my skin
Tickle my neusea
I let it happen again!
They're always...takin' over
I see them surround me
I see...see them deciding my fate
Ah, that which was once
was once up to me
Ah, it's too late
I got bugs in my room
One on one
That'as when I had a chance
I just stop now
I'll become naked
And with them...I become one....

L'homme Et La Musique

L'homme Et La Musique

Tu m'aimes quand tu as le temps

Chanson d'amour
Mais t'es si pâle et si jolie
Que je te reprends dans mon lit
Tu me fais si bien la cour
Si bien l'amour
Et tu repars bien réchauffée
Sur les pavés de ma cité
Parlant d'oiseaux et de printemps
à des passants
Au fond tu vois, toi, la musique
Tu te moques bien, la musique
Tu te moques bien des musiciens

Moi, je suis l'homme
Et toi, tu es la musique
Et je t'aime éperdument
Je t'aime et pour tout l'temps
éternellement

In Chicago (In The Ghetto)

In Chicago (In The Ghetto) (Adapted from: In The Ghetto - 1969) Composer(s): Mac Davis; Fred Jay Performer(s): Ricky Shayne Titles In Other Languages: 1969 - Negro (aka Era Negro) 1984 - In Het Ghetto

In Chicago
In Chicago

Und er wuchs heran
Und sein Spielplatz war der Straßenstaub
Und er kannte nicht der Bäume Laub
In Chicago

In Chicago
Und dann traf er zwei
Die war'n wie er
Mit denen zog er nachts umher
In Chicago

Und in einer Nacht
Da machten die drei einen kühnen Plan
Und schafften sich Pistolen an
In Chicago

In Chicago

In Chicago

In Chicago, in Chicago...

L'homme En Noir

L'homme En Noir
Composer(s): Roy Orbison
Performer(s): Sylvie Vartan

Bruit de bottes
l'homme est arrivé
bruit de bottes
ils se sont regardés
sans rien dire
un homme en noir
qui le cherchait
il n'a rien dit
il s'est levé
bruit de bottes
un regard de défi
tête haute
il a pris son fusil
sans rien dire
cet homme en noir
il l'a suivi
et dans la rue
ils sont partis
rien ne peut
les arrêter
tous deux
ils vont s'affronter
l'un ou l'autre
y laissera sa vie
oh mon Dieu
ayez pitié de lui
car je l'aime
je vous en prie
faites qu'il me revienne
je vous supplie
face à face
ils sont prêts à tirer
face à face
que va-t-il arriver?
quoiqu'on fasse
les jeux sont faits
je sais
cet homme en noir
veut le tuer
tous les regards
sur eux sont braqués
et mon cœur bat
à se briser
je prie pour lui
pour qu'il me revienne en vie
pour qu'il me revienne en vie
il l'a tué

Bugs (Bobbie Gentry)

Bugs
Composer(s): Bobbie Gentry
Performer(s): Bobbie Gentry; Reneé Austin

Pollywog in your water
Tadpole in the moonshine vat
Big daddy longlegs climbin’ up on the screen
you better watch you’re gonna squash him flat

Boll weevils in your cotton
Dirt dauber’s busy building a nest
The red wasp gonna swoop down and getcha child
They won’t give you a minute’s rest

Bugs, everywhere you look there’s another kind of bug
It makes you wanna get a club and clout em.
Everybody’s talking bout those worrisome bugs
But ain’t nobody doin’ nothing about em

Shooin’ the flies away from the table
Or hiding under the quilting bed
The chiggers runnin’ wild in the blackberry bush
Yellow jackets swarming round your head

They’re comin’ to get your watermelon
Black ants marchin’ in a long line
They’re lurkin’ in the leaves of the strawberry patch
And climbin up the tomato vine

Bugs, Everywhere you look there’s another kind of bug
But if you live in the Delta you got em
Here’s a real fine way to pass the time of day
You roll you up a newspaper and swat em

L'homme Des Bars

L'homme Des Bars
Composer(s): Edith Piaf - Marguerite Monnot
Performer(s): Edith Piaf; Marguerite Monnot

Et, doucement, me dit

On vient d'apercevoir
Foll'ment

Buffalo Springfield Again

Buffalo Springfield Again
Performer(s): Neil Young

Used to play
in a rock 'n' roll band
But they broke up
We were young and we were wild
It ate us up
Now I'm not saying
who was right or wrong

Looking out on a big green lawn
Girls and boys
Playing in the afternoon sun
Life's a joy
I heard an old song
playing on the radio

Buffalo Springfield again

I'd like to see those guys again
And give it a shot
Maybe now we can show the world
What we've got
But I'd just like to play
for the fun we had

Buffalo Springfield again
Buffalo Springfield again

L'homme De Berlin

L'homme De Berlin
Composer(s): Michèle Vendôme - Francis Laï
Performer(s): Edith Piaf
and multiple other artists

Berlin vaut bien Berlin

Buffalo Soldier

Buffalo Soldier
Composer(s): Bob Marley; N.G. Williams
Originally performed by: Bob Marley

Buffalo Soldier, Dreadlock Rasta
There was a Buffalo Soldier in the heart of America
Stolen from Africa, brought to America
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival

I mean it, when I analyze the stench
To me it makes a lot of sense
How the Dreadlock Rasta was the Buffalo Soldier
And he was taken from Africa, brought to America
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival

Said he was a Buffalo Soldier, Dreadlock Rasta
Buffalo Soldier in the heart of America

If you know your history
Then you would know where you coming from
Then you wouldn't have to ask me
Who the 'eck do I think I am

I'm just a Buffalo Soldier in the heart of America
Stolen from Africa, brought to America
Said he was fighting on arrival, fighting for survival
Said he was a Buffalo Soldier win the war for America

Dreadie, woy yoy yoy, woy yoy-yoy yoy
Woy yoy yoy yoy, yoy yoy-yoy yoy!
Woy yoy yoy, woy yoy-yoy yoy
Woy yoy yoy yoy, yoy yoy-yoy yoy!
Buffalo Soldier troddin' through the land, wo-ho-ooh!
Said he wanna ran, then you wanna hand
Troddin' through the land, yea-hea, yea-ea

Said he was a Buffalo Soldier win the war for America
Buffalo Soldier, Dreadlock Rasta
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival
Driven from the mainland to the heart of the Caribbean

Singing, woy yoy yoy, woy yoy-yoy yoy
Woy yoy yoy yoy, yoy yoy-yoy yoy!
Woy yoy yoy, woy yoy-yoy yoy
Woy yoy yoy yoy, yoy yoy-yoy yoy!

Troddin' through San Juan in the arms of America
Troddin' through Jamaica, a Buffalo Soldier
Fighting on arrival, fighting for survival
Buffalo Soldier, Dreadlock Rasta

Woy yoy yoy, woy yoy-yoy yoy
Woy yoy yoy yoy, yoy yoy-yoy yoy!
Woy yoy yoy, woy yoy-yoy yoy
Woy yoy yoy yoy, yoy yoy-yoy yoy!
