Why is the CAT not promoting GENERAL AVIATION as a introduction to the CAT-Operations
Presently the AIRLINES and also IATA are neglecting GENERAL AVIATION
After the WWII the top of the AIRLINES and also IATA was dominated by PILOTS and EX-PILOTS........now the top of the both mentioned is in hands of MANAGERS,and COMMERCIAL orientated persons without any pratical AERONAUTICAL experience, their priority are not AVIATION related
At WWW.ICAO.ORG they have now obtained the introduction of the MPL ( MULTI-CREW PILOT LICENSE)
This means there is no need more to start the PILOT TRAINING on SEL-light airplane but on SIMULATORS, CBT and direct on a AIRPLANE TYPE used by the AIRLINE
This is only a schort introduction
According me their is a need the EU-YOUTH to be introduced ASAP to the AERONAUTICAL WORLD
The YOUNGSTERS between the age of 8 and 12 schould be introduced the AVIATION via MODELBUILDING, SPOTTING, MODELFLYING , GLIDING , DPM/ULM, MICROLIGHT , LSA and GA
Also the presence and demonstration of HISTORICAL AIRCRAFT in the EU-AIRSPACE is a vital tool for giving the youth the require pride and motivation to evaluate the possiblity of a education and profession in the 90 jobs in the AERONAUTICAL INDUSTRY
on 04 October I was abel to have a short converstion with Vice President KALLAS about the need to have to develop motivation by the EUROPEAN YOUTH toward the 90 AVIATION JOBS

Sedert 31/12/2004 heb ik mijn functie van IAOPA liaison officer stop gezet
Sedert 30/06/2011 heb ik ook mijn regelmatige aanwezigheid in de EU INSTELLINGEN te BRUSSEL stop gezet....... .MAAR ben ocasioneel nog aanwezig Tevens hou ik nog contacten met de vele gemaakte contacten van 1980 tot op heden met MEPs, EXPERST, AMBTENAREN en ander LOBBYISTEN Heden zijn er natuurlijk reeds veel van de gemaakte vrienden uit het EU WERELDJE verdwenen
MAAR via de huidige E-midelen blijft het toch nog mogelijk om een aantal dossiers te volgen en bepaalde informatie naar voor te brengen
Tevens dank voor de door u gestelde vragen en informatie over het EU-PROJECT waarin wij geloven ter bevorderig van de LEVENSSTANDAARD in EUROPA en GLOBAL
