Wees blij met Kerstmis
en vier het met elkaar
want Kerstmis komt maar
eens per jaar!


Kerstmis
het feest
van vergeven
Een nieuwe start
om verder te leven
Het voelt fijn
maar wees eerlijk
zo zou het toch
elke dag moeten zijn

A friend is someone we turn to
when our spirits need a lift.

for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives
with beauty, joy, and grace.
And makes the whole world we live in
a better and happier place.

 Mensen denken veel
Mensen praten veel
Mensen voelen weinig
Denk na voordat je iets zegt
Kijk eerst in je eigen hart
Voor je anderen beklad
Woorden doen soms vreselijk pijn
Laat ons lief voor elkander zijn
Vrienden hebben we broodnodig
Al vinden we ze soms overbodig
Maar hoe fijn is het
Als je op een slechte dag
Een rugge-steun van een vriend
Verwachten mag
Zet je hart open en
Laat de zon erin !

Stil en verdoken als een bloem net ontloken
zit je wachtend op het leven
wat door god je werd gegeven,
bang en schuw door het aangedane lled
ontwijkend de werkelijkheid
omdat je het niet meer weet,
vechtend voor je eigenbehoud
trachtend naar iemand die echt van je houd

vele richtingen om te gaan
maar te zwak om op eigen benen te staan
in de draaikolk van je leven
maar met een warme gloed omgeven,
gesteund door vele vrienden
die je helpen de weg naar het leven,
voor altijd terug te vinden.

Ik wens iedereen een prettige dag! Hou je goed

Maar toen ontmoete ik jou
En de traan verdween

De zachtheid van jou liefde,
treft mij in men hart,
ik ontwaak,
ga weer verder,
besef steeds meer,
dat je echt om me geeft,
wil bij je zijn,
naast je liggen,
je stem horen,
adem voelen,
je weet wel gewoon,
jou laten voelen dat ik belachelijk veel om je geef!

Dear Santa, I'm writing you this letter as I'm feeling a little blue, so I hope you don't think I am asking too much of you. You visit every year and leave everyone such wonderful things, but I'm wondering if you also visit our loved ones who have wings? I know you must be busy, so much to do in just one night, but could you please make an extra trip to the stars that shine so bright?
...You see we have special loved ones -too perfect for life on earth, no presents could we send them to truly show their worth. So could you please leave them all a gift and put a stocking on their cloud, filled full of precious presents from their loved ones on the ground. Please stroke their sleepy heads, tell them their families love them so, that their hearts ache with sadness and their tears just seem to flow. If you could do this for me Santa, their families might be able to smile, even if it is just for a tiny, little while.
So thank you very much Santa for everything you do, after all it is Christmas, up in heaven too !!

Christmas time is here
Put up all the Christmas balls
And hear the people cheer

Listen to the children run
And sing a Christmas song
Everyone is having fun
Celebrating all day long

Bring out the Christmas Tree

And lets go on a shopping spree

Hear the laughter's of girls and boys
Running to and fro
Excited to play with all their toys
And hanging up some mistletoe

Christmas time is already here
I would love to play with toys

Bring in all the joy      

In je hart leven mensen
die daar helemaal thuis zijn
en die daar blijven wonen
zelfs als ze dood zijn.

Vrienden leggen nooit beslag op elkaar
anders doden ze de vriendschap
van echte vriendschap mag je verwachten
dat ze je niet loslaten
noch in goede, noch in kwade dagen
ze blijven je nabij in vreugde en verdriet
in sterkte en zwakheid

Je kunt alles doorstaan en doorleven
als er maar een vriend naast je staat
ook al kan die niets anders doen dan een woord zeggen
of een hand uitsteken

Een vriend in je leven is de krachtigste troost in elke nood
een vriend is echt menselijke goedheid
waarin je een teken van goddelijke goedheid voelt.
