I'll Be There Composer(s): Bobby Darin First release by: Bobby Darin- 1960 Covered by multiple other artists
I'll be there when all your dreams are broken To answer your unspoken prayer, oh.... When the little things you're doin', ooh, don't turn out right Don't you worry darlin' I'll be there There whenever you need to know that there is someone who cares, oh yeah! So if your new love isn't your true love Don't you worry darlin', I'll be there There whenever you need to know that there is someone who cares, oh yeah! So if your new love isn't your true love Don't you worry darlin', I'll be there Don't you worry darlin', I'll be there Don't you worry darlin', I'll be there
Errol Flynn Composer(s): Gordon Hunt - Amanda McBroom
Performer(s): Amanda McBroom
and multiple other artists
In a hall, on a wall, in a house in Rosita A poster's held up by two nails and a pin It's her Daddy, the actor, 'bout to die with his boots on He's the man standing up there, beside Errol Flynn
He got third or fourth billing at the end of each picture "And that don't mean much", he would say with a grin But he'd hold her hand tight as he pointed his name out Only four or five names down below Errol Flynn
Fame, it is fleeting and stars, they keep falling And staying right up there, that's the business of art And luck kisses some and she passes by others Disappointment and bourbon are hard on the heart
Oh, the women and beers, and the years with old Errol They took their toll, they took her from his side And he kissed her goodbye at the old Union Station It's the last time she saw him, the last time she cried
Now she's sitting alone in that house in Rosita Watchin' the Late Show as the moonlight shines in And up on the screen, yippee, here comes her Daddy It's a sad, funny feeling, now she's older than him
Oh, you daddies and daughters, you sons and your mothers Remember life's over before it begins Love one another and stand close together As close as her Dad stood to old Errol Flynn
Fame, it is fleeting, and stars, they keep falling And staying right up there, that's the business of art And luck kisses some and she passes by others Disappointment and bourbon are hard on the heart
Oh, you daddies and daughters, you sons and your mothers Life seems to be over before it begins Love one another and stand close together As close as her Dad stood to old Errol Flynn
I'll Be The One Composer(s): Boz Scaggs Performer(s): Boz Scaggs; Jim Conroy
Tired of seeing some play thing acting like a toy Tired of watching some fool trying to be your boy And I don't like being the one seeing you in tears Standing in the shadows staring out at love again
But I'll be the one
I'm the one reminding you that you've got a choice I'm the one to let you know that I hear your voice Time and again I catch you smiling from within But standing empty hearted standing in the wings again
I'll be the one
Now I can't be the one to catch you everytime you fall I ain't the one to answer everytime you call But maybe I'm gonna to be the one One to see you through it all
Errol Composer(s): Glen McDonough - James Reyne
Performer(s): Australian Crawl; James Reyne

He had to go The Sirocco He's sailin the high seas Hollywood, Captain Blood He's billing the Nazi's Took a rebel stand Contraband Coast of Mexico He want to pounce Like an animal To girls he just can't say no
Ohhh Errol I would give everything just to be like him
He had them all Screamin for more He play the wild scene Ah scandalise, no compromise He's down on his knees Swashbuckling He was the King The toast of Tinseltown They build him up They took it all And then they just cut him down
Ohhh Errol I would give everything just to be like him
I'll Be Seeing You (French Version: Je Te Reverrai - 1964) Composer(s): Irving Kahal; Sammy Fain First performance by: Tamara - 1938 Covered by multiple other artists
I'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places That this heart of mine embraces all day through In that small café, the park across the way The children's carousel, the chestnut trees, the wishing well I'll be seeing you in every lovely summer's day In everything that's light and gay I'll always think of you that way I'll find you in the morning' sun And when the night is new I'll be looking at the moon But I'll be seeing you I'll find you in the morning sun And when the night is new I'll be looking at the moon But I'll be seeing you

I'll Be Satisfied Composer(s): Berry Gordy; Tyran Carlo; Gwendolyn Gordy First release by: Jackie Wilson - 1959
Just a kiss, just a smile Hold my hand, baby Just once in a while That's all need, that's all I need And I'll be satisfied!
Think of me when you're away Call me darling Just once a day That's all need, that's all I need And I'll be satisfied!
True love came to me when I met you True love makes me know I won't forget you When you're around me, it makes me feel Life is worth living, baby, love is so forgiving!
You could hear the hoof beats pound as they raced across the ground And the clatter of the wheels as they spun 'round and 'round And he galloped into market street, his badge upon his chest His name was Ernie, and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west
Now Ernie loved a widow, a lady known as Sue She lived all alone in Liddley Lane at number 22 They said she was too good for him, she was haughty, proud and chic But Ernie got his cocoa there three times every week
They called him Ernie, (Ernieeeeeeeeeee) And he drove the fastest milk cart in the west
She said she'd like to bathe in milk, he said, "All right, sweetheart" And when he'd finished work one night he loaded up his cart He said, "D'you want it pasturize? 'Cause pasturize is best" She says, "Ernie, I'll be happy if it comes up to my chest"
That tickled old Ernie, (Ernieeeeeeeeeee) And he drove the fastest milk cart in the west
Now Ernie had a rival, an evil-looking man Called Two-Ton Ted from Teddington and he drove the baker's van He tempted her with his treacle tarts and his tasty wholemeal bread And when she seen the size of his hot meat pies it very near turned her head
She nearly swooned at his macaroon and he said, "If you treat me right You'll have hot rolls every morning and crumpets every night" He knew once she sampled his layer cake he'd have his wicked way And all Ernie had to offer was a pint of milk a day
Poor Ernie, (Ernieeeeeeeeeee) And he drove the fastest milk cart in the west
One lunch time Ted saw Ernie's horse and cart outside her door It drove him mad to find it was still there at half past four And as he lept down from his van hot blood through his veins did course And he went across to Ernie's cart and didn't half kick his 'orse
Whose name was Trigger, (Triggerrrrrrrr) And he pulled the fastest milk cart in the west
Now Ernie rushed out into the street, his gold top in his hand He said, "If you wanna marry Susie you'll fight for her like a man" "Oh why don't we play cards for her?" he sneeringly replied "And just to make it interesting we'll have a shilling on the side"
Now Ernie dragged him from his van and beneath the blazing sun They stood there face to face, and Ted went for his bun But Ernie was too quick, things didn't go the way Ted planned And a strawberry-flavoured yogurt sent it spinning from his hand
Now Susie ran between them and tried to keep them apart And Ernie, he pushed her aside and a rock cake caught him underneath his heart And he looked up in pained surprise and the concrete hardened crust Of a stale pork pie caught him in the eye and Ernie bit the dust
Poor Ernie, (Ernieeeeeeeeeee) And he drove the fastest milk cart in the west
Ernie was only 52, he didn't wanna die And now he's gone to make deliveries in that milk round in the sky Where the customers are angels and ferocious dogs are banned And the milkman's life is full of fun in that fairy, dairy land
But a woman's needs are many fold and soon she married Ted But strange things happened on their wedding night as they lay in their bed Was that the trees a-rustling? Or the hinges of the gate? Or Ernie's ghostly gold tops a-rattling in their crate?
They won't forget Ernie, (Ernieeeeeeeeee) And he drove the fastest milk cart in the west
Can't you hear poor Erin sadly calling you?
Erin, alone, calls to her own
And her grief I'm sharin', you must share it too
Erin is calling you
Fair Killarney's waters ebb and flow along
Fed by her tears all these long years
Erin's sons and daughters must right every wrong
Erin, sweet land of song
Shannon flowing
Erin's tears have kept the shamrock growing
You can hear a tear in every breeze that is blowing
Erin is calling you
I'll Be On My Way Composer(s): John Lennon; Paul McCartney First release by: Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas - 1963 Covered by multiple other artists
The sun is fading away That's the end of the day As the June light turns to moonlight I'll be on my way
Just one kiss and I'll go Don't hide the tears that don't show As the June light turns to moonlight I'll be on my way
To where the winds don't blow And golden rivers flow This way will I go
They were right, I was wrong True love didn't last long As the June light turns to moonlight I'll be on my wayThe sun is fading away That's the end of the day As the June light turns to moonlight I'll be on my way
Just one kiss and I'll go Don't hide the tears that don't show As the June light turns to moonlight I'll be on my way
To where the winds don't blow And golden rivers flow This way will I go
They were right, I was wrong True love didn't last long As the June light turns to moonlight I'll be on my way
Erik The Awful Composer(s): Kalb Jr. - Ray Stevens
Performer(s): Ray Stevens
Way back in history along the Nordic coast that was the sound all the people feared the most It would echo thru the night up and down the foggy fj-ord It was Erik and the bloodthirsty Horde!
Erik the Awful, the Brutal and Tenacious Erik the Awful, the Ruthless and Courageous Subtle as a chainsaw, lacking all the Social Graces You can run, but you cannot hide!
Yes! And as the oars of the sleek, fierce Viking ship cut thru the water like knives thru the fog-shrouded Nordic sea, transporting the wild, marauding band of Viking heathens stealthily towards their unsuspecting, slumbering victims, there he stood, on the foredeck Erik the Awful, the wildest bloodthirstiest Viking of them all!
(his Momma named him Erik 'cause she couldn't spell Ahhgggeeeddddllllqqhh!)
He had a hairy head, a hairy face, hairy chest, hairy legs hairy boots and a hairy hat, shaped like a big bullet with horns comin' out the sides..... and once he started after ya he'd never stop! He'd turn to his oarsmen in his 37 oared fj-ord and he'd say "Morden Borden Fjorden Gorden!" which was Viking for
"Ya-hoo!!!!!, ravagen pillage, plunder, maim and put big hickeys on all them fair damsels!"
And it was Erik the Awful, the Brutal and Tenacious Erik the Awful, mercy sakes! and goodness gracious! His appetite for slaughter was simply voracious You gotta sleep with your sneakers by your side!
Yes! And when the villagers heard that awful battle-cry
*Ya-Hooooooooooo!*
That's the one! They would run for their lives, fleeing over hills and thru valleys to the river whereupon they would walk mid-stream for 37 and 1/2 miles climbing out on the low-lying branch, shinnying down a young sapling onto rocky ground and leaping from stone to stone until they arrived one week later at a secret cave 97 miles away, and as they sat down for the first time to catch their breath, outside they heard
"Ya-Hoooo!!! Morden Borden Fjorden Gorden!"
Yes, it was Erik the Awful, the Brutal and Tenacious Erik the Awful, turned up in the darndest places Subtle as a chainsaw, lacking all the Social Graces You can run, but you cannot hide!
Oh! And this time they cut south to Paris, bought tickets on the Orient Express to Istanbul hired a U-Haul to the Coast, jumped a Greek freighter across the Mediterranian Sea to Mongolia hooked up with a camel caravan into the heart of the Gobi Desert and as they paused at an oasis, to lift one handful of cool water to their parched lips over their shoulder they heard
"Ya-Hoooo!!! Morden Borden Fjorden Gorden!"
They fled to Calcutta! *Ya-Hoooooooo!*
They fled to the Himalayas! *Ya-Hoooooooo!*
Tokyo! *Ya-Hoooooooo!*
Toronto! *Ya-Hoooooooo!*
Toledo and Heyhailea, Georgia..... *Ya-Hoooooooo!*
But it was no use! They finally succumbed to a savage plundering and pillaging followed by a big hickey party on the outskirts of what is now Washington, DC where the decendants of Erik can still be found today working as Special Agents for the IRS!
Erik later amassed a small fortune posing for Molly Hatchet album covers and did stuntwork for Arnold Schwartzenegger in Conan the Barbarian! He also won an Academy Award for his dual role as a train wreck and his tender portrayal of King Kong's daddy! Oh, you might remember the end of that one there wasn't a dry eye in the house when he married the Empire State Building And who could forget the evening he ate the entire Kingdom of the East? With no sugar?
Erik the Awful, the Brutal and Tenacious Erik the Awful, the Hungry and Voracious Subtle as a chainsaw, lacking all the Social Graces You can run but you cannot hide!

Performer(s): Raphael
I'll Be Hard To Handle Composer(s): Jerome Kern; Bernard Dougall First performance by: Lyda Roberti - 1933 Covered by multiple other artists
Now we'll say till something do us part That old dad of mine ain't got a heart Any girl who's out for pleasure Thinks of marriage only at her leisure As it is, they've got the horse behind the cart
When my pop said we must wed He kind of wowed me, still I'm ready But one thing must be clear At this time
I'll be hard to handle I promise you that And if you complain Here's one little Jane Who'll leave you flat
I'll be hard to handle What else can I be I say with a shrug I think you're a mug To marry me
When you first threw me a gander I was willing to philander But I never thought I'd have to be a bride Now you're gonna find tough sledding I don't want no shotgun wedding I was only along for the ride
I'll be hard to handle I'm telling you plain Just be a dear and scram out of here I'm gonna raise cain
I'll be hard to handle My bridges are burned This wedding's a gag And you're in the bag Where I'm concerned
I'll be hard to handle When we've said, "I do" See there's no hope I just got a dope When I took you
I'll be living my life in bed But they always will be twin beds And I warn you, you'll be living like a monk Our affair is now a past one So don't think you've pulled a fast one Just remember, I think you're a punk!
I'll be hard to handle I'm no ball and chain I'll find some means To call the Marines I'm gonna raise cain

I'll Be Happy When The Preacher Makes You Mine Composer(s): Sam M. Lewis; Joe Young; Walter Donaldson
I'm blue, so blue Can't get interested in a thing I do If you only knew The dreams that I've been dreaming of you all night through Only yesterday I dreamed I lost you I awoke and found myself in tears One week, seven little days Seem like seven years
Amen, Amen Let me hear that word then I'll be glad again Till then, you know when I'll be just like a lion in a lonely den Bought the ring and everything is ready All I've got to do is slip it on One week, seven little days Wish that they were gone
I can't wait until next Sunday morning I'll be so happy when the preacher makes you mine You love the melodies, of birds and honey bees But tell me what could be sweeter than the choir singing While the wedding bells are ding dong dinging On our way to church next Sunday morning We'll hear the people whisper, "don't they both look fine" I may be nervous for a while and during service I won't smile But I'll be dog-gone happy when the preacher makes you mine (Amen then, hal-le-lu-jah, hal-le-lu-jah!)
