There is a good, biblical argumentation against Evolution. You finf it in Genesis 1 v 12, 'fruit.....ACCORDING TO THEIR KINDS' also V 21., 24.
Well...'according to their kinds' means, that every creatrure had his own D.N.A. ( desoxynucleïn acid). A cat can not become a dog. With this simple argument you can encounter every evolution- worshipper. For they say that fishes could become gradually birds , and so on.
But....as for the days: not stick too heavy to days of 24 hours.
You know that psalm 90 v 4 says: " For a thousand years in your sight are like a day, that has just gone by".
Genesis 1 v 2 says: "Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the deep"
God did not do that. He does only good things. And Isaiah 45 v 18 says: " The Lord did not create the earth to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited".
So ....who's work was this annihilation: the devil's work. I have for this textes, but I do not want to make it too long. We can talk about at a later stage.
But God did away the enormous cloud of mud, rocks, stones and so on, by one of his nature-forces: gravitation. And God has no haste. What do billions of years mean for the Eternal.
When people say to you: "It is an absolute fact, that in the coal mines of Nova Zembla, they have found the prints of fern-leaves. So...there have been there on some moment in the past wide-spread forests. What have you to say with your 24 hours-day", then you can answer: "They were God's days in his thoughts, which are else than our thoughts. Before sun and moon became visible,(14), the cloud, satan had made, had already shrunk so much, that there was diffuse light , causing the same temperature on the whole earth. That's why there were even big forests on the South Pole and tropical fishes in Europe.
Your antagonists will be flabbercasted and perhaps...perhaps will fall silent.
You should never reach this result by saying. " I stick to my 24 hours. Certainly the Lord has created this prints in the course of this time-limit".
Go on Danny. So many things there are to be discoverd. Take the hand of Jesus and he will show you every part of his wonderful garden.
