Nederlander wint Groot Dictee der Nederlandse Taal 2010
De Nederlander Pieter van Diepen is vanavond uit de bus gekomen als
winnaar van de 21ste editie van het Groot Dictee der Nederlandse Taal
2010. Hij maakte 9 fouten. Ook de zilveren medaille was voor een
Nederlander: Martijn van Opbergen maakte 12 fouten. Birgit Kuppens
maakte 13 fouten, strandde op de derde plaats en was de beste Vlaamse deelnemer.
Schrijver Tommy Wieringa schreef dit jaar het Groot Dictee. Zijn tekst
had als titel "Kakofonie". De 43-jarige Wieringa is vooral bekend van
zijn roman "Joe Speedboot" (2005), waarvoor hij de Ferdinand Bordewijk
Prijs voor verhalend proza kreeg.
Dertig prominenten en dertig
deelnemers die zich via een voorronde in De Morgen en de Volkskrant
hadden geplaatst, namen het tegen elkaar op in de Nederlandse Eerste
Kamer.
Van de BV's was Thomas Siffer de beste. De hoofdredacteur
van Story maakte 28 fouten. Van de Nederlandse prominenten was het
voormalige PvdA-Kamerlid Mei Li Vos de beste met 25 fouten, op de voet
gevolgd door schrijver Robert Vuijsje met 26 fouten. Het gemiddelde aantal fouten bedroeg dit jaar 32. In 2009 was dat 29. (br.hln. foto's anp)
