Wie ik ben? ... Speelt geen enkele rol. Mijn naam? ... misschien de Brugschen Stroatendwil?
Na een half jaar ziekte werd ik in 2005 op het werk bedankt voor bewezen diensten en prompt op pensioen gesteld. Als 47-jarige zo uitgerangeerd worden uit deze jachtige en niets ontziende maatschappij komt hard aan. Ondertussen heb ik me herpakt en voortaan blog ik als een oudje hier op www.seniorennet.be met slechts één onderwerp: BRUGGE!
De grootste verrassing voor mij - want ik wist het vooraf niet - was vandaag de aanwezigheid van Ingrid Weverbergh. Als tiener hield ik in de jaren '70 van de vorige eeuw van de gedichten van een toen ietsje oudere tiener die pas een fel bejubelde dichtbundel uitgebracht had en die bovendien trouwen ging met de dochter van zijn uitgever. Die tiener was Jotie T' Hooft en hij is toen met die uitgeversdochter getrouwd, met Ingrid Weverbergh. Jammer genoeg was Jotie een drugsverslaafde met een soort van constant doodsverlangen en hij is quasi toevallig in ons Brugge aan een overdosis gestorven. Want totaal niks bond hem aan ons Brugge behalve dan die drugsvriend die hem voor dood aan de poort van de spoedgevallendienst van de Sint-Lucaskliniek dropte, dat is in vogelvlucht zowat twee kilometer van dit Lappersfortbos vandaan. Daarom was ik vandaag totaal verrast Ingrid hier te zien met een hommage aan haar Jotie. Want ik heb een sterk vermoeden dat Jotie alleen maar in zijn schrijfselen natuurgebonden elementen verweefde, maar dat hijzelf meer en meer van die natuur vervreemd was. De kans dat hij trouwens ooit van het Lappersfortbos gehoord had is nihil. Maar één ding is een feit: hij is in 1977 op zowat twee kilometer van deze plek vandaan overleden. Of dat simpele feit voldoende is om zijn naam met dit bos te verbinden, dat laat ik in het midden. Hoe dan ook, 30 jaar na zijn dood zindert Joties naam nog altijd na, en enkele van zijn gedichten mogen er nog altijd zijn. Ingrid (uiterst links op de foto) bracht er twee van ten gehore, namelijk "En wat dan" en "Eenhoorn". Zo 'bleek' valt ons Jotie dus niet uit als hij verdomd dertig jaar na zijn overlijden nog altijd geciteerd wordt, en echt niet alleen door zijn vrouw. Ikzelf heb helemaal niet de bedoeling om onsterfelijk te worden. Ik zal al heel blij mogen zijn als pakweg binnen vijf jaar mijn weblog nog altijd zal kunnen gelezen worden door enkelingen. Want in dit digitale youtube en ipod en e-bay tijdperk verandert er zo veel zo snel dat het voor een aanstormende senior als ik stilaan een beetje te veel wordt.

Dit is een URGENTE oproep tot solidaire steun aan bosliefhebbers in en rond Antwerpen die de groene gordel met <100ha bos ten westen van Antwerpen willen beschermen van KAP door de bouw van de Oosterweelverbinding.
Gelieve onderstaande tekst en petitie MASSAAL te ondertekenen en URGENT via alle mogelijk kanalen verder te verspreiden?
Na luchtvervuiling (fijn stof) is de overlast aan geluid de meest gezondheidsbedreigende factor van deze tijd als hoofdoorzaak van kankers, long- en hartaandoeningen.
De geplande Oosterweelverbinding te Antwerpen houdt enorme risico's in voor de volksgezondheid van de bewoners van de gehele agllomeratie. De strategisch gelegen groene longen tussen haven en stad worden gekapt (St-Annabos, Noorkasteel, Galgenweel Borgerweert, Middenvijver) en fijn stof en geluid van vrachtverkeer nemen toe. Een deel van het bos is oud maar kan via een intelligent omvormingsbeheer haar bufferwaarde behouden.
En lost het sluiten van de Antwerpse Ring dan tenminste het fileprobleem op? Verkeersexperten denken van niet.
Het grootste deel van de Antwerpenaren is tegen het plan zoals het nu voorligt. En het stadsbestuur heeft geen inspraak.
Indien jij ook liever gezond blijft en tegen de Oosterweelverbinding bent, steun dan deze petitie. Tegen de Oosterweelverbinding van BAM en voor een doordacht alternatief dat ook onze gezondheid en klimaat respecteert.

Jotie
Hallo,
Jotie hield wel degelijk van de natuur,van het boerenlandschap,de voren, het koren ,de vaart.Daar was hij in zijn verlangen naar eenvoud en echtheid mee verbonden en schreef daar ook over.Natuurlijk moet men ook kunnen 'wortelen'.Verhalen,poëzie en bossen horen bij elkaar,zoals pelgrims en troubadours.Zoals het Hessebos waar de gebroeders Grimm de sprookjes optekenden en het Nibulüngenbos uit de opera ,zijn alle bossen uniek en oerkrachtige dragers van nieuwe zaadjes,oude en alledaagse wijsheid en vooral veel ruimte en licht in de toppen van de bomen .Ik weet dat het voor stadsmensen een feest is als ze een bloemeke tussen de straatstenen zien ontluiken in de eerste lente.Zo is het belangrijk dat het Lappersfortbos ,een stadsbos,blijft ,omdat je seizoensgebonden beleving van de natuur zo belangrijk is voor ons ritme,onze eigenheid ,gezondheid en inspiratie!Zelf kan ik het niet zonder bomen ,hun bast ,takken en blaadjes stellen,maar ook niet zonder de stad.Ze bieden omhulling en groeien levendig naar de zon. Bossen zijn woningen.Bomen de pilaren van de concertzalen voor de vogels.Mijn huis is omgeven door een paar bomen en op de eerste verdieping is het alsof we in een nest huizen.

Dank voor uw aandacht in ons bedreigde bos
Hallo, zeer mooi verslag. Er wordt ook een film over gemaakt. dat maakt deze gedichtendag 2 keer uniek. Het is zo dat wij als GGF een netwerk zijn van mensen en bewegingen van goede wil. Samen met de bosdichters van de Lappersfort Poets Society willen wij de stem van brood en bossen verwoorden. Zo opkomend voor duurzaamheid en dierbaarheid. In een poging om de schepping te bewaren. Daarom netwerken wij met alle mensen en dichters van goede wil. En zo komt het dat vanaf nu sterke banden gesmeed zijn met Ingrid Weverbergh, Jotie T' Hooft en het Lappersfort ( vlakbij AZ St. Lucas waar Jotie stierf, de spuiten werden nog in het Zuidervaartje gegooid door zijn vriend ). BOSBRIEF AAN DE DODE
DICHTERS VANWEGE GEWONDE EENHOORNS IN EEN ZEER TREURIG LAPPERSFORTBOS
Beste Melanie
Vanbrughe, Mark Braet en Jotie THooft,
We schrijven een
bosbrief uit het Lappersfort Poëzie- en Vredesbos en we richten ons tot jullie,
onze geliefde dode dichters. Jullie droegen de bossen een warm hart toe. Jullie
verdedigden al wat teer en kwetsbaar is. Sommige van onze bestuurders geven de
indruk doof, blind en genadeloos te zijn. Ze slijpen de bijlen. Fluister hen
jullie dromen in het oor.
Naar aanleiding van
gedichtendag wordt een essay van jullie levende collega Paul Bogaert verspreid,
over de verdediging van de poëzie. Het is getiteld verwondingen. Wij denken
aan de wonden die jullie afscheid heeft geslagen en aan wonden en bressen die
de overheid nog altijd slaat in onze schaarse bossen.
Sinds jullie ons
verlieten in respectievelijk 2006, 2003 en 1977 is de wereld niet veel
verbeterd. Er braken (nog) geen andere tijden aan. Alles gaat harder en
sneller, dat wel. Veel wereldpijn bereikt onsonline in het internettijdperk. De winters lijken op de lentes (de
opwarming van het klimaat), de samenleving wordt kouder en anoniemer. Politiek
is vaak een schouwtoneel. Veel woorden, weinig daden.
Wij dromen nog van een
solidaire samenleving. Proust indachtig zijn wij à la recherche du bois perdu. We hopen de spiraal van het zinloze
bosgeweld te doorbreken. Het zou wat hoop en genezing brengen in de koude
wereld. Wonden zouden helen, als politici hun bijlen zouden opbergen. Ergens
moet iemand toch eens beginnen om de vernietiging van onze leefwereld een halt
toe te roepen. Wie heeft de moed?
Wij zijn op zoek naar
politici van goede wil wiens hart we kunnen veroveren. Mensen die van zuurstof
voor het leven een erezaak maken en ons Lappersfortbos respecteren en bevrijden
van knellende gedateerde BPAs en overbodige bouwvergunningen voor
Suez-Fabricom Gti.
Vandaag planten we
weer een klein zaadje van hoop dat het ooit anders wordt. Misschien slaan
bosminister Hilde Crevits en cultuurminister Bert Anciaux wel de handen in
elkaar voor het behoud van het Poëzie- en Vredesbos? Met de juiste spirit en
veel respect moet dat lukken. Zal Vlaanderen die grootmoedigheid kunnen
opbrengen in Brugge? Durft Vlaanderen het bosbehoud op de kaart te zetten?
Met Plato en Seneca, jullie
collega-schrijvers, in gedachten dromen wij dat poëzie de sleutel kan zijn die
de harten van mensen opent. De sleutel ter verdediging van een landschap dat
schreeuwt om zorg en goed beheer. Dit zonevreemde bos van vreemde vogels en
vogelvrijen wacht op bevrijdende woorden. Wij dromen van een overheid als agitateur
positif.
Lieve Melanie, Mark en
Jotie, rust verder in vrede in de eeuwige wouden. Ook al zijn jullie lichtjaren
van ons verwijderd, waak over onze droom in dit weerloze Poëzie- en Vredesbos.
Zodat ons bos de dodendans en de bijlen ontspringt.
Namens de vele
duizenden mensen die van de bossen van Vlaanderen houden.
