Hallo beste familieleden en vrienden.
Eindelijk is het zover, we staan op het punt te vertrekken. Frankrijk,
Spanje en Portugal staan op ons te wachten. Toen we 29 jaar geleden trouwden met elkaar, zei ik tegen Linda : schatteke, ik zou dolgraag een mobilehome kopen en de wereld rondtrekken. Ik moet toegeven dat dat in het begin zich enkel beperkte dat ze me gevolgd is tot het toen verre Duitsland ,waar ik gekazerneerd was. Zo een jong meisje van 20 en ik was 21. We begonnen aan ons levensverhaal. Snel hadden we twee flinke zonen, Tom en Bart, waar ik nu nog steeds apetrots op ben dat ze het zo goed doen in het leven, ik pink en veeg nu enkele tranen weg, maar ik meen het, ik zie hen dolgraag en iedereen mag dit weten.
Linda heeft het niet altijd makkelijk gehad met me, in Duitsland was ze veel alleen als ik op oefening was of in de kazerne dienst had. Eenmaal in Belgie terug , begon ik met een toeristentrammetje te rijden en was ik vele weekenden weg. Vier jaar later maakte ik het nog een beetje bonter en begon ik met de bus te rijden. Vele weekends weg van vijdag tot zondag. Winter en zomer. ondertussen al 19jaar lang.
Linda, 2 jaar geleden begon ik weer te " zagen " om eens een jaartje rond te trekken met onze caravan, niet de wereld rond ,maar europa in. Je volgde me weer in mijn gedachten.
Wat ben ik jou toch enorm dankbaar dat ik " ZO EEN LIEVE GOEDE VROUW " heb gevonden.
Al die tijd dat jij mij gemist hebt , dat ik er niet was voor jou, ik kan jou niet genoeg bedanken hiervoor en ik zal er zeker van zijn dat ik later in de "hel" hiervoor gestraft zal worden.
