     This morning at 0700 A dit i receive a phone call from a TOP EU EXPERT to whisch me a MERRY CHRISTMAS in reaction to my E-mail thad i had sent him this morning at 0630 A

     Since this very unusual reaction dit I ask him in what I could help him.


     He admited he was this days working at home on the project of the future EU AIRSPACE CLASSIFICATION as resulting from the EUROCONTROL workshop and he wanted to know my personnel vieuw on the selection to make of the THREE ICAO AIRSPACE TYPES. for the 27 EU MEMBERSTATES + 3 other .

    He intend to proceed toward:

    ABOVE FL245   ICAO ALPHA AIRSPACE

    BELOW FL245   he intends to introduce :

    ICAO CHARLY for MANAGED AIRSPACE ( Controled airspace)
    ICAO GOLF for UNMANAGED AIRSPACE( uncontrolled)

    Also intend to raise the lower leven for MANAGED AIRSPACE as hich as possible to avoid to mutch efect of VFR OPERATIONS on the ATS  activity.

    And REQUESTING me if I could LOBBY for such a solution
