During my initial training as pilot was i lucky in a certain periode to be trained by a RAF WW II fighter pilot who advised me the following safety procedure:
Take a small note book
After each solo flight you note the date and the mistakes you have done in this flight
Each last day of the month when closing your flyinglogbook
Take time to read ALL the mistakes you have noted in the note book
AND THINK ABOUT
DO NOT MENTIONE THIS ITEMS TO ANY OTHER PERSON BUT KEEP THEM IN YOUR MIND FOR THE NEXT FLIGHT ????
I have used this procedure durng my flying career as pilot and instructer on GLIDERS, AIRPLANE ( SEL) and HELICOPTER and it is very intresting reading and also to see thad the number of items have reduced during the YEARS of operational flying, but there was not one month where there was not a VITAL MISTAKE buth witch I HAVE SURVIVED !!!!!

Heden morgend krijg ik een berichtje via telefoon van een incident van het TANKEN van 100LL op een THIELERT( DIESEL) MOTOR met gevolg een aborded T/O zonder schade aan het TWEEMOTORIG VLIEGTUIG behalve natuurlijk aan de MOTORS
CAUTION: Schijnbaar zijn er de laatste maanden enkele zulke incidenten ??

100 LL in plaats van KEROZINE
Ook heb ik enkele berichten dat men in de DIESEL MOTOR gebruikt maakt van de RODE MAZOUT wegens de goedkopere aankoopprijs maar heb geen gegevens of dit tot problemen heeft geleverd !!
Stel belang hierover ANNONIEM meer te vernemen en ik behandel deze informatie zonder enige mogelijkheid de BRON te kennen !!

Received at EU leven and EUROCONTROL some positive information about the WORLD ASSEMBLY, THE EXPO and the various activity durng this W.A
However the participation at the WORKSHOPS during the EXPO where poorly attended due to the nice weather and the intresting FLYING demonstrations.
I ame intresting to see the results the voted RESOLUTIONS and aditional information to follow up in my personnel individual activity as registered EU-LOBBYIST in BRUSSELS and in function of my nick name MISTER GENERAL AVIATION in the various EU-INSTITUTIONS and EUROCONTROL. supported by FLAG.
SAFETY REGULATION COMMISION of EUROCONTROL under the chairmanschip of JOS WILBRINK of the Dutch IVW took place on 18 & 19 JUNE 2008.
I was present temporary and noted the following items:
POINTS & ACTION ARISING: SRC32-01
-SRCCG A-30/07 to investigat the feasablity of developing proposel of SARPS for the determination of ATS at an in the vicinity of AERODROMES used by CAT AIRCRAFT ,,, also AIRPORTS TF.
Caution this could become very costly and burdensom for the smaller REGIONAL AERODROME with GA & AW and a limited number of CAT operations if a permanent ATC-TWR would be proposed?
There is a actif lobbying required by IAOPA, EAS and other NON CAT AIRSPACE ORGANISATIONS and some proposal on AFIS or limited ATC activity ???
A-30/06 ATS LEVELS at AERODROMES
AIRSPACE INFRINCEMENT DAP/SHH SRC32-14 to be studiet and aditional input to be made to the CHAAIRMAN ASAP
Also action toward SRC/SRU and PRC/PRU ( XAVIER FRON ASAP required )
Bekwam heden een exemplaar van het EINDCONCEPT AIC B JULI 2008 van de
NEDERLANDSE IVW over uitrusting en gebruik van 406 MHZ ELT ??
Tracht te begrijpen wat dit voor de VLIEGTUIGEN, HELICOPTERS, MLA en TMG betekend om in EUROPA te VLIEGEN voor GRENSOVERSCHRIJDENDE VLUCHTEN in VFR/IFR NON CAT AIRSPACE OPERATORS ???
I noticed in function of the 7e edition of the EUROCONTROL AIRSPACE INFRINGEMENT STRATEGY thad a number of CAA have introduced the requirement to have some of their inspectors start a strong action on controlling the VFR AIRSPACE USERS on:
-FLIGHT PREPARATION
-WEIGHT & BALANCE ( MASS)
-NOTAMS
-UPDATED NAVIGATION CHARTS
-FUEL CALCULATIONS
-WEATHER BRIEFING
-SSR requirements( MODE S) (to be clarified)
-ELT 406 MHZ( to be clarified)
-AIRCRAFT PERFORMANCES for T/O & LANDING
-R/T QUALIFICATION ( ENGLISH)
Any information on this verifications on the operational aviation world is welcom from the AIRSPACE USERS also because I have the impression thad the assigned persons have limited knowledge on the VFR operations

JULES KNEEPKENS ( present DG BELGIAN CAA) has been nominated at the EASA for the REGULATIONS replacing CLAUDE PROBST
I like to CONGRATULATE both for this nomination and hopê to continue our intrestinc contacts toward the requirements for the NON CAT AIRSPACE USERS OPERATORS.
Via some contacts at EU-level on the subject do I understand thad the FREQUENCY EXPERTS of the NATIONAL ANSP have insisted to extant ASAP the 8,33 KHZ utulisation MANDATORY in the LOWER AIRSPACE till FL100 and also the TMA of the dense areas!!
Apaerently this has now been negotiated with the delegates of the EUROPEAN AIRSPORTS and also with a team of 50 PILOTS-VFR AIRSPACE USERS consultation.
The FREQUENCY COMMITIE is claiming very strong and with very well doculented information thad some AIRSPACE can not been used by the IFR-CAT operators until some aditional FREQUENCY's in the 8,33 KHZ are made avaible. I presume they have introduced this to the new Italian Commisinar of TRANSPORT in DG-TREN during his Hearing in the EP at STRASBOURG via some MEP who requested how he would avoid the DELAY for the CAT to be kept low in function of the forcasted increase in CAT in EUROPE based on the EUROCONTROL FORCAST.
