AIRSPACE SELECTION

As you may be aware there is a TASK FORCE in EUROCONTROL actively involved in the redefinition of the ICAO TYPE AIRSPACE to be selected for the lower CONTROLLED AIRSPACE.
From the EXPERTS they are proposing to use for the CTR's the AIRSPACE ICAO CLASS "C"
A number of state ATSP or CAA and AIRSPACE USERS are strongly recommending to have the CTR using the ICAO CLASS "D"
Very soon there will be a TASK FORCE ALPHA meeting with this topic on the agenda !!!
Any AIRSPACE USER having strong arguments to select the ICAO CLASS "D" AIRSPACE instead of the proposed CLASS "C" schould introduce his motivated reasons via the AIRSPACE ORGANISATIONS( EAS,IAOPA,EBAA,) delegate who is present in this TASK-FORCE.

Whe must realise this aplication is not for today but for the future when whe may expect a strong increase in IFR operations

Whe also must realise thad a number of EUROCONTROL memberstate have changed CLAA "A" (only IFR) AIRSPACE to CLASS"C" meaning thad VFR flights are now possible under certain conditions.

I received some reactions as mentioning A) whe dont like it.
B)whe don't like to change from "D" to "C"

This are NO JUSTIFICATIONS
