Late at night, on October 4 2002, a strange guest appeared on a cult American radio show. Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell had a reputation for exploring weird themes with fascinating guests, but few had ever sounded as excited as this one.

Dallas Thompson was a former personal trainer who had spent his youth in Hawaii but now lived in Bakersfield, California. His life had changed forever following a terrible accident, five years earlier. He’d been driving along Highway 58 during heavy rain when his car had aquaplaned, spinning four times, only to plunge backwards down a 250ft drop.

When Thompson was found, the roof of his blue Honda Accord had been crushed almost to the floor. The fireman who rescued him was amazed he hadn’t been decapitated. As he’d been sitting, helpless, in the wreck, Thompson had had a vivid near-death experience. He claimed to have seen a “light so bright that it burnt my eyes” and made him “legally blind” and to have had bizarre knowledge about the world poured into him. When he regained consciousness, he was convinced that the Earth was hollow and had an opening at the North Pole. He’d come on Coast to Coast to discuss his mission to locate and explore it.

“There are cavern systems and caves that traverse the whole mantle,” he told Bell, whose scepticism often took the form of slightly extended silences. Because of the special atmosphere in the hole, Thompson explained, living creatures were protected from pollutants and harmful rays. There were herds of mammoth and ancient tribes down there, the members of which lived to be around 1,700 years old.

“How do you know all this?” asked Bell.

“I just do,” said Thompson. “I remembered stuff that has been forgotten.”

Later, Bell asked after his mental health.

“Are you manic?”

“I’m just excited,” said Thompson.

“… I can tell.”

Perhaps most incredibly, Thompson revealed he’d secured funding to travel to the hole with a helicopter backpack called a SoloTrek, which he’d use to descend into it. He even had a date for the trip: May 24 2003.

Over the next few months, news of Thompson’s expedition spread. He began to receive emails from media companies keen to report the story and many more from both critics and admirers. The sprawling book he’d written, which included his theories about Hollow Earth, began to sell.

In December 2002, two months after his radio appearance, he posted a message on his Yahoo Group page describing an inundation of “over 5,600 emails every few days”. He said his book, Cosmic Manuscript, had become a bestseller but he was pulling it from sale. “I have requested the book be discontinued even though it’s still at the top of the charts in Canada,” he wrote.

And then, the most mysterious event of all took place. All of a sudden, Thompson disappeared…

For many centuries, humankind has dreamt of inner worlds. Numerous writers have been inspired by the idea, not least Tarzan creator Edgar Rice Burroughs (At the Earth’s Core, 1914), Edgar Allen Poe (The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket, 1838) and, most famously, Jules Verne, whose 1864 novel A Journey to the Centre of the Earth has been adapted numerous times for both stage and screen.

Thousands of contemporary theorists discuss what is commonly referred to as “the greatest ever secret” on internet forums. On YouTube, videos claim that the satellite images on Google Earth have been altered to cover up the existence of the holes, while other videos claim the holes are there for all to see.

Ancient Greeks, Tibetan Buddhists and Christians all located their iterations   of hell in caverns under the mantle. Pilgrims used to journey to Station   Island off the coast of Co Donegal where they believed there existed an   entrance to Purgatory, while the old legends of Mexico describe a mountain   cave near Ojinago inhabited by devilish creatures from “the way-down-deeps”. 

The 18th-century Astronomer Royal Edmond Halley believed that unusual compass   readings could be explained by the fact that the planet was composed of a   hollow shell, two inner concentric shells and an innermost core about the   diameters of the planets Venus, Mars and Mercury respectively. 

One of the most famous Hollow Earth theorists, and a true predecessor of   Thompson, was a veteran of the 1812 Anglo-American war, John Symmes. In his   book Banvard’s Folly, Paul Collins recounts the “theory of concentric   spheres and polar voids” that preoccupied the soldier. 

Symmes published a pamphlet, in which he wrote, “I declare that the Earth is   hollow and habitable within; containing a number of solid concentric   spheres, one within the other, and that it is open at the poles 12 or 16   degrees.” He pledged his life to promoting his notion, boldly declaring, “I   am ready to explore the hollow.”

He toured the US with a handmade wooden globe that opened out to reveal its   secret layers. Converts, in ever increasing numbers, began petitioning the   government to finance his adventures. On March 7 1822 Senator Richard   Thompson presented a case to Congress that Symmes be supplied with “the   equipment of two vessels of 250 to 300 tons for the expedition, and the   granting of such other aid as Government may deem requisite”. 

During the debate, it was suggested that the Committee for Foreign Relations   become involved, as the trip may well bring Symmes and his crew into contact   with new races of interior people. But the motion was to fail. Seven further   bills were presented to the House. Not one succeeded. 

Symmes spent the rest of his life lecturing and lobbying for action. “In May   1829,” writes Collins, “Symmes died, believing right up to the end that the   greatest discovery in human history had eluded his grasp.”

But still, today, men grasp. One of them is Rodney M Cluff, author of World   Top Secret: Our Earth IS Hollow! “I was working on a New Mexico farm when I   was 16 and the farm manager’s son started talking about it,” he says.   Fascinated, he began reading up. “I found evidence from the Scriptures,   history and science that our Earth is hollow as well as all the planets and   the moons and even asteroids.”

So convinced was Cluff that, in 1981, he flew his wife and five children from   New Mexico to a new life in Alaska. “I thought, ‘Why don’t we see if we can   find the way to the Hollow Earth?’ ”

Researchers surprised by High ozone level in Colorado Mountains

Our planet is clearly under attack. Anyone even half awake can see the world today is careening towards disaster when there is no reason for it. Our resources are plentiful, and the vast majority of people on earth are loving, ethical and well meaning individuals.

However, those in places of authority and economic power appear to clearly be maniacal psychopaths constantly scheming for new ways to use and abuse humanity and its beautiful home called Earth, or Terra.

As in Terraforming.

According to researchers Ozone levels are surprisingly high at the south of Denver to Fort Collins. From mid-July to 18 Aug, during the period of data gathering, the area shows high concentrations of ozone and ozone-causing chemicals.

Harmful chemicals and Ozone are also pushed by wind and temperature driven air movement from lower elevations. This event even in the mountain, results to the existence of ozone. The Rocky Mountain National Park, as a matter of fact is positive for ozone.

There are further more studies to be conducted to quantify and examine the amount of ozone present in the mountain. The researchers are hopeful that at the end of the year, they can release a public data. The help is also expected by the researchers from federal and state scientists, and from other researchers and who expressed their willingness to contribute in the study.

Why Are They Doing It?

To reduce the population? Alter our genetic make up? Produce a morphed human race only capable of subservient tasks to please a master race immune or protected from these mutative influences on a deliberately morphed planet?

Depopulating is in the everyday language of the Elites. We are a scourge they’re just waiting for the right time to exterminate. That’s all. And those that are “allowed” or engineered to survive will supposedly serve them willingly and happily.

The final acquiescence will be to take the chip. That last straw that will break the back of freedom for all who succumb.

ALIEN ABDUCTION AND MISSING DOG IN LOUISIANA

MAY 1991  …….   BATON ROUGE LOUISIANA

Baton Rouge, LA – On the first Monday night in May, 1991, I was watching the news with my dog. The ABC World News had just begun on TV when my dog began to growl. I had never seen her like that. She had a good nature and was playful. Her hair suddenly stood up in a ridge along her back and she was crying and growling at the same time.  She jumped off the bed and went to the french door, with indows, that led from the bedroom to the backyard. She didn’t paw to go out. Instead she sat down and kept growling and crying with her fur raised. She kept shaking her head. I got up to see what what was frightening her.  When I got to the door I noticed a screeching, buzzing, sound. It was similar to static. The TV blinked and so did the lights. It was actually hurting the dog. 

When I looked in the backyard it was just beginning to get dark, but there was still some light out. In the distance, just above the tree tops of the woods behind my house, I saw a circular light. It was hovering. I could tell it wasn’t the moon, or anything natural, because it wobbled as it hovered. My dog was staring straight at it and growling viciously. I thought it was odd. I began to stare at it too.   As I watched, it was as if I couldn’t take my eyes away. Then I realized we were both unable to move. The static sound got louder but my dog couldn’t shake her head. We were frozen in place. I was terrified. I wanted to run only I couldn’t.  The light changed direction. It fell down through the trees and took a path through the woods toward my house. It wove through the trees and got bigger and brighter. It hurt my eyes. It wasn’t stopping it came straight for my door, about six feet off the ground. The light got so bright I thought my eyes would burn.

Then it was just gone.  I looked down at my dog. She was in exactly the same spot, drooling, and growling, but softer now. I was dizzy and disoriented. I was as if the light passed straight through us. I sat down on the floor to check my dog and she fell over and laid still, panting as if she’d been running.   The whole event seemed a few seconds long. When I looked up at the TV, Wheel Of Fortune was ending. An hour and a half had passed. The World News, the Local News, and Wheel Of Fortune had aired. I can’t remember one thing during that time.  What is truly strange is that exactly one month later my dog vanished out of my backyard. I had to go out for a while. I left her outside. I had a five foot wooden fence around the yard. It was locked with a padlock. She wasn’t a digger. I got home about nine PM and she was gone. The fence was locked. There was no fur on the ground. There were no holes in the yard. No one could have gotten over the fence, with a thirty-five pound dog, without a ladder. She was just gone.  I miss my dog, but mostly, it bothers me that I have no idea what happened during that time frame. I have severe headaches and strange dreams. I don’t like to sleep at night. I have a strange rash all over my body and radiation has been found in the woods behind my house. What happened to me??

Bottomless Pit! Massive 100ft-Wide Sinkhole opens up in Pennines, UK

A 'Terrifying' sinkhole 100ft wide appears overnight in Pennines County Durham, UK and it's so deep you can't see the bottom.

The gaping void, thought to be the result of mine workings deep beneath the surface, is just a stone’s throw from a couple’s farmhouse.

It was three times smaller when it was first discovered on Thursday morning, at Cowshill, in the rural area of Weardale, by Durham University academic Sam Hillyard, but more earth has since collapsed.

Sam, 39, had been out shooting rabbits with her black Labrador Jack and was returning to her home, Burtree Pastures, when she noticed the 30ft hole.

Overnight, the hole sank further to reveal an abyss. And it is feared rain forecast for over the Bank Holiday may see it become larger still.

Mr Hensby, 71, who lives in Cowshill, near Bishop Auckland, County
Durham, said: 'I am not sure where this will end. 'The hole is still growing. It
is astonishing. If you could have heard the bangs, crashes and rumbles when it
first happened, you would understand how terrifying it was.

Some council experts came to inspect the hole yesterday but we are not sure what can be done.
We are crossing our fingers it doesn't get much bigger.

You Want Proof Of Flying Saucers? This Is It!

So, you want to know whether flying saucers are real? Well. the evidence you are about to see is so strong that if this were a murder case the accused would hang. 
This case was presented on ats about three years ago by chadwickus, and while he put together a good thread I personally feel he left out too much to really do it justice. 

Westall, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. 
On the morning of April 6 1966 the children of Westall were in school. One of the children was looking out of a classroom window and saw a flying saucer hovering outside, he excitedly announced what he could see and within minutes the entire school, including the staff, were outside watching two flying saucers hovering just a few yards away.

Graham Simmonds was the first to see the flying saucers. He was standing at the window and saw a saucer hovering. 

Terry Peck was playing outside when she heard another child shout “Look a flying saucer”. Terry looked up in the sky, and she says it really was a flying saucer. She says it was a round silver disc hovering low over the school. She remembers children screaming and running inside to hide. 

Marilyn Smith says she was inside and children started running back in, they were hysterical and screaming “there’s a flying saucer in the Oval” 

Barbara Robbins, the chemistry teacher grabbed her camera and started taking pictures. 

Claude Miller says he was having a crafty ciggy at the time. He says that Andrew Greenwood (another teacher) came rushing at him saying “Did you see it, did you see it” 

Brenden Dickson says he saw a saucer hovering just a few feet above the ground. He says it descended and just sat there for a few minutes, then it went back up and shot off. 

Its difficult to present this case on a timeline for several reasons, first, it happened more than fourty years ago, also the children were running about all over the place, and also because there were TWO saucers and not all the children saw both of them. The majority of the children followed a saucer to a rough bit of ground they refer to as The Oval. They say the saucer actually landed in the oval and some of them got quite close to it.

Terry Peck says some of the girls who got there before her passed out when they got close. 
She says a girl named Tanya had collapsed and an ambulance was called and took Tanya away. Tanya was never seen again!!! (someone should look into what happened to Tanya) 

Victor Zakruzny says that before the craft went to the oval they landed in a grassy paddock. He said there were two discs on the ground a couple of meters apart. He went over to them and says he was going to touch them but when he was within a meter of them he could feel heat coming from them. He said they just sat there for about a minute then they slowly lifted off and went towards the oval.

Its interesting that his drawing shows three round…power units? We so often hear about craft with three lights! 
He said the craft were completely smooth and looked like they’d come out of a mold. 

Joy Clarke says that in the afternoon the school had a special assembly. The headmaster told the children they were all nuts! That they hadn’t seen anything, and they were forbidden to talk to anyone about it. 

Graham Simmonds says he was prepped to tell the students that what they’d seen didn’t exist. He says he was given the job of walking up and down the corridors to keep the students in their rooms. 
While he was walking the corridors he saw the teacher who’d been taking photographs of the saucers struggling with people in uniform who were demanding she hand over her camera. 

Later the media arrived. The police also arrived to keep the media away and would not let them talk to anyone. 
Some children had managed to get out and were talking to the media but were immediately taken back into school by the police. 

Marilyn Smith appeared on a tv show (channel 9) and was given detention when she returned to school. 

The author of the vid (bottom of this post) contacted channel 9 to see whether this case was still in their records, it was! 

He was given permission to search their archives for the footage. We can all guess what he found…an empty film can. 

However in the state library of Victoria there are newspapers referring to this case. 

Paul Smith a market gardener and his boss were working in their field when the flying saucers arrived. They stood looking at them for several minutes. He said a few minutes later the children from the school flooded across their field in pursuit of the craft. 

Most people who saw the saucers say that five Cessna airplanes arrived and that’s when the saucers took off at high speed. 
About twenty minutes later army trucks appeared with about twenty men in them. 

Lt Col. Neil Smith a military historian says he’s unaware of any military bases close enough to have gotten men to the location so quickly. Also witnesses say the men in the trucks wore kaki coloured uniforms but Neil Smith says the Australian military did not wear uniforms of this colour in 1966. 

Just four days before the saucers landed at the school. somebody reported seeing a strange object in the sky and took these photos. 

This picture is very relevant because those who saw the saucers fly away said they turned on their side when they went away. 

Also, another strange story was reported just two days before the saucers landed at the school. 

Ron Sullivan says that he was driving along a nearby road one night when he noticed a bright light in the trees. He says as he got closer it pulled his headlights to the side as if being pulled by a magnet. 

Ron Sullivan did not bother reporting this event until he saw this. 

This happened just two days before the event seen by Ron Sullivan and six days before the saucers landed at the school.

There is so much more to this story, if you have even the slightest interest in ufo’s then the video below will blow your mind. 

You should not be asking yourself – Did this happen? 
The question you should be asking is – WHO WERE THEY!! 

For me this case proves one of two things. 
1. Aliens landed. 
or 
2. The military had anti gravity capability as far back as 1966.

Le centre de recherche en informatique quantique de USC, soutenu par Lockheed Martin, vient d'effectuer une découverte fondamentale en démontrant la nature quantique de l'ordinateur D-Wave qu'ils utilisent. Nous revenons cette semaine sur ce résultat. Nous présenterons dans un prochain bulletin quelques applications possibles de l'informatique quantique qui suscitent bien des intérêts.

USC Lockheed Martin Quantum Computation Center - Pionnier en informatique quantique

En 2011, le USC Lockheed Martin [1] Quantum Computation Center a acheté à la société D-Wave (seule actuellement à commercialiser des calculateurs quantiques) une unité de calcul annoncée comme contenant 128 qubits [2], unités d'information quantique qui est aux ordinateurs quantiques ce que le bit est aux ordinateurs conventionnels. Cette acquisition porte l'USC au tout premier plan dans le domaine de l'informatique quantique, puisqu'aucun autre centre de recherche universitaire ne possède actuellement de dispositif équivalent.

L'avance technologique considérable que la firme déclare posséder n'est pas sans susciter quelques interrogations et controverses, entre autres sur la nature quantique de ses puces. D-Wave s'appuie sur une technologie différente de celle développée par les autres acteurs du domaine. Au lieu d'avoir recours à des équivalents de portes logiques, elle utilise le principe du quantum annealing. C'est la seule méthode qui permette de produire à l'heure actuelle des puces avec un nombre significatif de qubits. Elle est toutefois limitée dans son utilisation à des algorithmes bien spécifiques. De plus, pour des raisons de secrets industriels aux vues des enjeux considérables qui sous-tendent le domaine, les calculateurs de D-Wave ne peuvent être étudiés correctement par la communauté scientifique.

Le 29 Mai 2014, une équipe de chercheurs du USC Lockheed Martin Quantum Computation Center ont publié leurs résultats sur l'étude du calculateur D-Wave à leur disposition [3]. Ils ont pu démontrer expérimentalement que 8 de ses qubits étaient bien intriqués, et que cet état d'intrication se maintenait bien au cours des opérations de calcul (on parle de non-décohérence). C'est un résultat d'une très grande importance, qui confirme que la méthode du quantum annealing paraît viable pour créer des processeurs à grande échelle, et semble confirmer l'avance technologique de D-Wave.

L'informatique quantique : principes et enjeux

En 1975, Gordon E. Moore (co-fondateur du groupe Intel - plus grand fabricant de processeurs au monde) énonce la loi qui porte aujourd'hui son nom : "le nombre de transistors sur une puce de silicium d'un microprocesseur double tous les deux ans à prix constant". Jusqu'ici, cette loi empirique s'est montrée remarquablement proche de la réalité. La technologie actuelle consiste à graver les transistors sur les puces de silicium. Si on prolonge la loi de Moore, les gravures seront effectuées au niveau atomique à l'horizon 2020. Néanmoins des complications apparaissent à cette échelle, les phénomènes quantiques ne pouvant plus être contournés, et plusieurs experts prévoient les premiers écarts à la loi de Moore à cette occasion. L'idée de l'ordinateur quantique émerge, entre autre, de ce contexte : ne pas voir l'échelle atomique comme une barrière, mais comme l'occasion d'une nouvelle rupture, conceptuelle et technologique.

La mécanique quantique est la théorie physique qui régit les systèmes à l'échelle de l'atome. Elle s'oppose à la description dite classique ou newtonienne des corps en ce qu'elle est purement probabiliste : un objet n'est plus défini par sa position et sa vitesse à un instant donné, mais par la probabilité qu'il a d'être en un point à un instant donné. Ses implications physiques sont pour la plupart contre-intuitives, mais la remarquable concordance entre ses prédictions théoriques et les mesures expérimentales depuis son élaboration au début du XXè siècle tendent à asseoir sa légitimité.

Le concept d'ordinateur quantique vise à mettre à profit le principe de superposition, au fondement même de la mécanique quantique. Les qubits (équivalents quantiques des bits classiques) ne sont plus astreints à être dans l'un des états 0 ou 1 comme dans un ordinateur conventionnel, mais peuvent être dans une superposition de ces deux états (à la fois 0 et 1). En pratique, la réalisation de ces qubits se fait à l'aide de systèmes quantiques (particules de spin ½ le plus souvent) dans des états superposés particuliers, on parle d'états intriqués.

Bref historique de l'informatique quantique

1981 - Le physicien Richard Feynman constate que les simulations de mécanique quantique demandent des puissances de calcul considérables, il en vient à formuler : "Au lieu de nous plaindre que la simulation des phénomènes quantiques demande des puissances énormes à nos ordinateurs actuels, utilisons la puissance de calcul des phénomènes quantiques pour dépasser nos ordinateurs actuels" et envisage l'idée d'un calculateur quantique. Ne proposant pas d'applications en dehors de la simulation physique, son idée ne suscitera pas l'engouement de la communauté scientifique.

1985 - Le physicien David Deutsch formalise le concept d'ordinateur quantique.

1994 - Peter Shor découvre un algorithme quantique permettant de factoriser un nombre en temps raisonnable (temps polynômial). C'est le début du réel engouement pour l'informatique quantique.

1998 - IBM présente un calculateur quantique à 2 qubits.

2006 - Premier calculateur quantique à 12 qubits.

2009 - Des chercheurs de l'université de Yale créent le premier processeur quantique élémentaire (2 qubits) capable d'exécuter des algorithmes simples.

2012 - La société Canadienne D-Wave annonce avoir réalisé un ordinateur quantique à 512 qubits (la nature quantique du calculateur restant controversée)

Boaz, Alabama – 7/5/2014: My friend and I were sitting on her deck drinking coffee. She said, “Look!” I looked up in time to see a rectangular shaped object with lights circling around it, changing colors. We kept saying, “What is that?” It briefly went totally dark and then reappeared moving toward her property. Her house is situated at an elevation of 1,053 feet above sea level according to my phone. There is a VERY STEEP drop off at the edge of her lawn which is heavily wooded all the way down the mountain. These objects were high above the trees which are very tall. As the large object moved closer and closer to us a small semi-circular shaped object was see below the larger object. I grabbed my cell phone and began taking photos of what we were seeing. It came close enough to her lawn to reflect light onto the grass. Then the semi-circular shaped object straightened itself out, as is seen in the photo, and flew at a speed I’ve never seen anything move with out of our sight behind trees. It did not return that we saw. The large object began getting very bright with almost fiery looking lights shooting out of the ring where the multi-colored lights were first observed. We watched it for what seemed like a short period of time but we later realized we had been out there watching for about an hour and a half. I have no direct memory of the object leaving or blinking out but it was just gone. I began to take photos all around in hopes of finding where it went. That’s when I got the very poor photo of what seems to be two little creatures. Also, strangely enough another glowing light appeared deep down in the woods. It would brighten when we talked to it and dim and then brighten again on request. My camera never recorded a photo of this object although I snapped them repeatedly. My friend said once during watching the object she was going to get a flashlight and go out there and look more closely. I strongly encouraged her not to do that. I felt that we were fine on the deck where we were but didn’t need to be out there any closer. We were unnaturally calm afterward and even talked about how we just sauntered back inside the house and went to bed – too calm if you ask me. Odd. – MUFON CMS

Hundreds of Teen Girls Struck by Unexplained Sickness

A mystery illness has overwhelmed a small town in northern Colombia as scores of teenage girls have been hospitalized with symptoms that parents fear could be an adverse reaction to a popular vaccine against cervical cancer.

Authorities say they still don’t know what caused more than 200 girls in El Carmen de Bolivar to come down with symptoms ranging from fainting to numbness in the hands and headaches. Some have hinted that the town of 95,000 near Colombia’s Caribbean coast could be experiencing a rare case of mass hysteria.

Parents are on edge however because all the girls, ranging in ages from 9 to 16, were injected in recent months with the vaccine Gardasil. On Wednesday, residents marched peacefully to demand a thorough investigation.

Francisco Vega, the town’s mayor and a trained physician, told The Associated Press that illnesses first appeared at the end of May and have been steadily increasing since. Over the weekend 120 girls were rushed to hospitals, collapsing the town’s limited medical facilities. None of their symptoms were life-threatening and all have since been released, he said.

Echoing the assurances of national health and toxicology experts, who have travelled to the town to collect blood samples and investigate possible environmental hazards, he said there’s no evidence the vaccine, which has undergone extensive testing and regulation globally, is to blame.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Alejandro Gaviria is criticizing hyped coverage by the media for stirring panic, saying concerns about their vaccine, which has been applied to 2.9 million women in Colombia, are baseless.

“On one side we have the weight of scientific evidence and on the other are opinions and moral prejudices,” he told W Radio on Wednesday, adding the cervical cancer claims the lives of more than 3,000 women every year in Colombia.

Veronica Trulin, head of communications in Latin America for Merck, said all lots of the vaccine, including the ones sent to Colombia, meet all required quality and safety standards.

Strange Sleep Disorder Makes People Appear ‘Totally Drunk’

If you’ve ever woken from a deep sleep in a confused state and didn’t remember the experience later, you may have a condition known as “sleep drunkenness.”

According to a new study, as many as 1 in 7 people may have this disorder, properly known as “confusional arousal,” which can lead to confused or inappropriate behavior — such as answering the phone when an alarm goes off — or even violence.

The episodes usually happen when a person is woken suddenly, and people sometimes have no memory of these incidents, said Dr. Maurice Ohayon, a sleep psychiatrist at Stanford School of Medicine and co-author of the study, detailed today (Aug. 25) in the journal Neurology. “It’s like they are totally drunk — they don’t know where they are or what they are doing,” Ohayon told Live Science.

Confusional arousal is distinct from night terrors and sleepwalking, Ohayon said. It is often seen in children, but has not been well studied in adults.

In the study, the researchers interviewed a random sample of more than 19,000 American adults about their sleep habits and history of confusional arousal, as well as any mental illness and any medications they were taking.

About 15 percent of those surveyed said they had experienced at least one bout of this “sleep drunkenness” in the previous year, more than half of whom said they suffered at least one episode per week. Slightly fewer than 10 percent of those who had had an episode couldn’t remember part or all of the experience, and 15 percent of them also had sleepwalking episodes.

Confusional arousal is different from the normal sleepiness that most people feel when they wake up, said Dr. Alan Manevitz, a clinical psychiatrist at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York who was not involved with the research. Most people with sleep grogginess generally remember their experience, but people with sleep drunkenness are not aware of their actions, and attempts to fully wake them usually fail, Manevitz told Live Science.

The unusual grogginess has many different causes, depending on the individual. The researchers found that among those who’d had an episode of sleep drunkenness, 70 percent also had a sleep disorder, and 37 percent had a mental illness. Only 31 percent were taking medication for these disorders, and these were mostly antidepressants.

People suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, alcoholism, panic or post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety seemed more susceptible to the disorder, as did those with sleep apnea, a disorder in which a person briefly stops breathing during sleep, the researchers said.

Confusional arousal can also result from getting too little or too much sleep, the researchers noted. In the study, about 20 percent of people who reported getting less than 6 hours of sleep per night reported having an episode, and 15 percent of those who got at least 9 hours per night said the same, the researchers said.

The prevalence of sleep drunkenness may be cause for concern, Ohayon said. The disorder could have major consequences if it affects people with responsibility for the safety and security of others, such as pilots or emergency-room doctors, he said. – LiveScience

Vlieg eens langs de maan van Neptunus - HLN. be

video Precies 25 jaar geleden vloog de Voyager langs Triton, de maan van de planeet Neptunus. De opnames die toen werden gemaakt, zijn zopas gerestaureerd en het resultaat is verbluffend mooi.

Hoewel de binnenkant van Triton ijs is, zijn er aan de oppervlakte vulkanen en aadbreuken te zien.

Op naar Pluto
De opnames werden opgepoetst door Paul Schenk, die een nieuwe kaart gebruikte met een resolutie van 600 meter per pixel en de kleuren bewerkte om een simulatie te bekomen van wat we met het menselijk oog zouden zien als we langs Triton vliegen.

De nieuwe kaart werd gemaakt met het oog op het moment dat New Horizons, het nieuwe ruimtetuig van NASA, voorbij Pluto zal vliegen. Pluto is ongeveer even groot als Triton en heeft ook een vergelijkbare samenstelling. New Horizon zal in juli volgend jaar langs Pluto passeren.

Kosmische kaskraker
"Triton is misschien niet de perfecte smaakmaker voor komende attracties, maar het is wel een goede prequel op de kosmische kaskraker die we verwachten wanneer New Horizons volgend jaar Pluto bereikt", verklaart een NASA-woordvoerder.

NASA zet grote stap richting bemande vlucht naar Mars - HLN.be

De NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) heeft succesvol een test afgerond waarmee een grote stap is gezet richting een bemande vlucht naar Mars. De eerste onbemande vlucht naar Mars staat voor 2018 gepland.

Op het moment wordt er hard gewerkt aan het zogeheten Spance Launch System (SLS), dat er voor moet zorgen dat astronauten voortaan verder kunnen reizen dan de maan. Het uiteindelijke doel, dat in 2030 verwezenlijkt moet worden, is een bemande reis naar Mars.

"We blijven hard werken om eerder klaar te zijn, maar later dan november 2018 gaat het niet worden", aldus William Gerstenmaier, werkzaam voor de Bemande Verkenningen en Operatiemissies bij de NASA. Dan staat de eerste onbemande vlucht op het programma. Het is de bedoeling dat er een ruimtevaartuig de lucht in gaat, dat in staat is om 77 ton te tillen. Hierdoor is het mogelijk om technische missies in de ruimte uit te voeren.

Miljardenproject
Overigens is het hele project een kostbare aangelegenheid. De geraamde kosten tot 2018 liggen op 7,02 miljard dollar (5,33 miljard euro). Hoeveel geld er vervolgens nog op tafel moet komen om daadwerkelijk astronauten richting Mars te sturen, is niet bekend. Maar de flinke smak centen mag de ambitie niet drukken: "We zijn altijd een land geweest dat ambitieus is op het gebied van ruimtevaart. Het is onze plicht aan de belastingbetaler om dit project succesvol te laten zijn".

Mysterie opgelost: hoe de stenen in Death Valley kunnen wandelen - HLN.be

Death Valley is het schouwtoneel van een van de meest mysterieuze verschijnselen die ooit gezien zijn. Al sinds 1948 waren wetenschappers met verstomming geslagen door de 'wandelende' stenen van het droge meer Racetrack Playa. Niemand zag de stenen - sommige 320 kilogram zwaar - ooit bewegen maar dat het gebeurde, was duidelijk: ze lieten sporen van soms honderden meters achter. Onderzoekers van het Oceanografisch Instituut van San Diego zijn er nu in geslaagd het geheim te ontrafelen.

Death Valley is een woestijn, bezaaid met stenen, die zich uitstrekt in de Amerikaanse staten Nevada en Californië. Het is een van de warmste plekken ter wereld. Regenen doet het er amper. Toch zijn in het zand van Death Valley altijd lange sporen te zien, die stoppen bij de rotsen. Hoe dat kon, verbaasde wetenschappers al sinds 1948. Sommigen dachten aan zandhozen, anderen staken het op de wind. Maar bewijs werd niet gevonden.

Tot nu. Onderzoekers Richard Norris en James Norris van de universiteit van Californië installeerden camera's die de stenen in beeld brachten. Enkele stenen kregen een GPS-toestel aangemeten. Dat registreerde gegevens over de bewegingssnelheid en locatie van de stenen. Hun aanpak leverde resultaat, want in december zagen beide neven de rotsen op een nacht plots bewegen.

De temperatuur was die bewuste nacht gedaald tot onder het vriespunt en door een regenbui vormde zich een laagje ijs rond de stenen. Het ijs brak daarna in grote stukken, waarop de stukken door de harde woestijnwind over een laagje water dreven en de steen op hun tocht meenamen.

De studie verscheen in het wetenschappelijke vakblad PLOS ONE. "De ironie van dit fenomeen verbaast me", zei James Norris aan de Los Angeles Times. "Op een plaats waar amper vijf centimeter regen per jaar valt, worden de stenen verplaatst door mechanismen die je vaak in poolgebieden kan waarnemen."

Strange Eerie Sounds Heard Over Queens, New York  (Video)

(N.Morgan) In this stunning video capture, Mister UFO presents strange noises out of Queens New York. They sound similar to the ones heard in Russia, the same, eerie, strange, unearthly sounds. These sounds could be residual sounds of HAARP activity, but I cannot say that for fact, only in theory. It could be the frequencies bouncing off of objects or something along those lines.

1. HAARP and ULF (Ultra Low Frequency) Waves

The HAARP sound recording may seem full of static. It is not. The rushing roaring sound of a blow torch is the HAARP signal itself, as shown by the silence or background noise of the receiver at the end of the pulse, and by the clarity of the tones at the beginning. If you wanted to see or hear the ULF (ultra low frequency) waves sent out by the HAARP transmitter, you will be disappointed here.

My receiver is not equipped to record ULF waves in the region of 1 to 10 Hz, and has an audio roll-off in the range of about 30 Hz. And besides, you can’t hear or see a 0.9 or 1 Hz signal anyway. It is way below the range of normal human hearing. You need instruments to sense it. A powerful 1 Hz sound would probably be “sensed” as a slow rolling earthquake or a slight rocking motion as on the ocean. Nonetheless, a major component and purpose of the HAARP signal is an audio modulation at the frequency of about 0.9 Hz. And what is that purpose? I’ll get to that in a moment.

2. HAARP Interaction with the Atmosphere

The HAARP pulse is primarily divided into two components. The first part is the sections marked A and B on the chart above and is the powerful “pre-heat” megawatt pulse aimed upward at the ionosphere just above the HAARP facility. As the radio waves travel up through the atmosphere they have no effect until they reach the ionosphere about 200 kilometers above the earth, which is far above the atmosphere. At that point the waves interact with the ions, which may be electrons, protons or ionized parts of atoms like oxygen, ozone or nitrogen.

3. Components of the HAARP Pulse

In portion A of the pulse, identifier tones are sent at frequencies of 360, 1000 and 1700 Hz, with some harmonics at higher frequencies visible on the graph. In part B the tones are 650 Hz with a harmonic at 1300 Hz. On the chart the yellow color indicates a very strong signal, the green indicates a medium strength signal and the blue shows a weak signal. In part C of the signal there is a continuous tone at 2100 Hz which remains during the whole pulse and sometimes several seconds afterward. There is also a much weaker tone around 2500 Hz during all of the pulse. And then there is all that green/yellow stuff at the bottom, sloping upward to the right during all of part C. What the heck is that? To explain that we need to look at the HAARP antenna itself.

General Bolender Says There Were Two UFO Reporting Systems

I should point out the 1969 comment by Air Force General Carroll Bolender Commander of the 414th Night Fighter Squadron that “Reports of UFOs which could affect national security are made in accordance with JANAP 146 or Air Force Manual 55-11 and are not part of the Blue Book System”.

The Air Force has never told the public that they had another channel besides Project Blue Book. I think some clarification is in order. If not, please let me know what is in the other CIA UFO documents.

Chemtrails and UFOs – Possible Scenarios

Bob Spearing www.worldufowatch.com writes, “I am a Field Investigator in New Jersey MUFON given case 57295 to investigate. It was a 17 year old sighting from 1997 of a large orb interacting with a jet spraying chemtrails over Mullica Hill NJ. Two things about the report were startling. First, the highly polished silver sphere was the “size of a penny compared to the jet which was the size of a period” claimed the witness. One of the primary jets identified in chemtrail spraying is the Air Force’s KC- 10a with a length of 181 feet and a wingspan of 165 feet. If, as an example, a period represented the length of one KC-10a and ten periods equaled the diameter of one penny then the sphere in question would be an enormous 1,810 feet in diameter. Secondly, and even more astounding in the report was the interaction the sphere had with the jet. It approached the jet from a right angle and forced the plane to divert its course a full 90 degrees in order to avoid a collision. The sphere then chased the jet until they were lost from view. This brings us to the question of what was the motive in the sphere’s intelligent, deliberate and aggressive action? Much has been written about the link between chemtrails and UFOs since 2000 when the phenomenon became obvious to Ufologists.

Filer’s Files has approached this subject on several occasions. In FFs’ 2008 #12 issue, MUFON Case # 9971 from Huntington, West Virginia tells a similar story of an orb intercepting a chemtrail jet. The witness stated ”At one point in the beginning, I thought the object was going to crash into a jet as they approached each other from opposite directions.”

Yet not all interactions with UFOs and chemtrail jets have been violent however. There are also accounts from 2000 from investigations by former Louisiana MUFON State Director Gregg Avery of orbs and spheres seemingly dancing in and out of chemtrails in a non-aggressive manner. So are these orbs and spheres friend or foe? For that matter, are chemtrail jets friends or foe. Let’s examine some scenarios.

The first hypothesis would make the UFOs hostile. Perhaps our government is aware of aggressive life forms in our upper atmosphere and is attempting to eradicate them by poisoning the atmosphere to a certain extent to make earth inhospitable to them. This would explain their aggressive behavior.

The second hypothesis would involve a friendly alien race or secret manmade DARLA-type military robots deriving energy or nutrition in our atmosphere from the chemtrails (more on chemtrail composition later). This would explain them dancing in and out of the aerosols ejected by the planes.

A third scenario would be a combination of the first two. There are multiple alien races interacting with earth. Some hostile and some cooperative with us. Some attempt to disrupt the chemtrail flights and some use the aerosol vapors as energy.

This leads us to either an extremely disconcerting or an effusively joyous revelation that alien races are already here and are benevolent but cannot yet interact with us humans because their pathogens would be detrimental to our health. As a result, prior to full disclosure by our world governments, they are enhancing our immune systems with chemtrail cocktails in anticipation of First Contact! Of course, there is another darker and chilling way to look at the last scenario that governments already have been subverted by a hostile alien race seeking to control, enslave, diminish or eliminate the human race? Could our own jets be spraying chemicals into our atmosphere to make our immune system weaker so that deadly pathogens will effectively neutralize the human race prior to an advanced hostile species subjugating earth?

The chemical composition of these chemtrails is surely intriguing. They consist of heavy metals and human blood cells among other things. Food perhaps? Or poison? One organization in pursuit of answers to these questions is the Carnicom Institute in Wallace, Idaho which has been investigating the link between chemtrail discharges and the mysterious disease known as Morgellens Syndrome. They have found causal links between the mysterious fibers growing on parts of Morgellens sufferers and chemtrail spraying. Extensive testing on these fibers has detected the presence of artificial blood in their composition. The Carnicom Institute’s position is that there is a mass poisoning of the world public by a consortium of governments for reasons unknown. Long gone are the days when chemtrails were thought to be simple weather modification techniques.

It has been close to 20 years since chemtrails have entered the public’s consciousness and we are getting no answers from our leaders. The War over Men’s Souls

Brett Allen researcher states, “In 30 years of researching the paranormal, I always believed there had to be some correlating unifying theory to both ghosts and UFOs. This is why both UFOs (who the ancients said were “spirit” gods who could take human form-cloaked in the UV and IR) and ghosts can be captured by today’s technology, when not visible to the human eye. The ancient Mesopotamia bible spoke of both spirits and the soul. Nearly every ancient civilization makes reference to the soul; Egypt built a technological civilization around them. They were quite obviously doing something with high voltage; Tesla coils and particle accelerators, to harness and launch the soul. From the Zoroastrians, to Mesopotamia, even the Maya and pre-Columbians, all had this knowledge.

My work with spirit orbs, both in my own haunted study location, and in photos sent to me by friends, shows obvious faces show up in these orbs. I believe even the Mayan calendar round was a spirit orb, as they also knew that night was “the realm of the dead.” But perhaps UFOlogist and NASA/CIA insider John Lear puts it all in perspective when he claims there was a soul capturing and processing machine that the alien’s operate on our moon.

In fact NASA’s recent bombing of the Moon may have been to destroy one such structure. Recent photos captured over my own home, on a lake where some 4000 graves were opened may also vindicate his claims. A bright light on a rectangular UFO was seen with what the ancients referred to as a GATE hanging off the end of the rectangle. I believe the craft was sweeping the area for “lost souls.” If this is not true, why are there so many references to the soul in ancient cultures? In our own Bible we are told the war in Heaven happened over Men’s Souls, that we can PRESERVE the soul, the SOUL goes on, saving the soul, Life EVERLASTING, etc?

This is information it took me thirty years to obtain, running into soul references everywhere I looked. From the Faravahar, to the red orb seen all over Egypt, it is present everywhere and often called serpent of dragon. In the Solomon Islands, dragon orbs can be seen going in and out of the sea where the Battle of Guadalcanal was fought, often in war UFOs and Foo Fighters are everywhere… Why is the human soul so important? It is disturbing, but your own search will surely lead you to the same conclusion. We have forgotten this very vital piece of our history.

Extraterrestrials once called Angels are here for one thing, the soul. How many reports come back from abductees saying the aliens seemed to be interested in my soul? It’s as if they separated me from my soul? BECAUSE THEY DID. The scary part is I came to this conclusion before over hearing of John Lear or his claim.

In the 90s I had a very strange visitor who refused to identify himself, only that we worked with a group that was aware of my work and that if I was deemed worthy, they might release to me the answers. He interviewed me, a journalist and media professional, about my world views on religion, aliens and the paranormal. Since that time, although seeing them since youth, I have seen many more UFOs, and many red orbs. There is a long list of Ufologists who have come to these same unorthodox conclusions. On the 21st, March 2004, John Lear was talking on the Art Bell show stating on Coast 2 Coast AM, that a massive cube has been found on the moon, and that this cube is responsible for not only holding human souls here on Earth, but that after you die, the cube pulls your soul to it, and then erases your memory, and then reinserts your soul into a new baby to repeat the process over and over again.

Earth was taken over about 200 thousand years ago, and humanity is a genetically engineered slave race, but it is the souls of light that are the real reason for all of this. The souls of light are used as food by the Reptilians. They need a constant supply of emotional food to enable them to do anything. Without a fuel source, negative souls are dead in the water, and are completely powerless. In 2007, while on the cover of UFO Magazine, I pitched an idea for a series based on our ancient connection to space aliens, and the history it involves. That idea was usurped. From Kennedy to NASA, from religion to cold wars, from Forestall to the Annunaki, everything has been orchestrated to keep this information silent, and those who do try to decimate it, usually end up dead.

Mankind is an alien controlled experiment that has something to do with the soul. The aliens refer to us as containers. There is a cube on the Moon with an antenna. The antenna sends and receives souls. If someone dies an unscheduled death the antenna doesn’t pick up their soul and the resulting energy remains on Earth as a ghost.

When there is a major disaster like 911

the aliens send down giant soul collectors to recover the souls. Increase in homosexuality is caused by the cube placing male souls in female bodies and vice versa. This cube falls right in line with what I’ve said before. Check it out. The human race has been the subject of severe intrusion, not only within our lives, liberties, and justices, but with our very own unique and precious DNA. It is postulated that over 97% of our so-called “junk DNA” is actual genetic coding of extraterrestrial life forms. This signifies that the “junk DNA” carries the history and family codes of our very own “star essence.” It continues to be debated whether our Divine Blueprint created by some “Higher Power.” The bottom line is most of us unknowingly carry the Keys to Eternal Freedom for All within our DNA, and yet we aren’t quite sure how to reach these Keys, commune with them, or bring them to full activating potential.

When we talk amongst ourselves, we KNOW we are here for a far greater purpose than to just live out this life. We are being constantly challenged to take the lead in becoming our true selves, removing our masks, standing tall in what we know to be truth, honoring others in the process, and kicking up our empowerment and mastery in order to step into The New Reality. There are many photos with astronauts etc.pacecraft Operator with NASA who during a 34 year career was responsible for ensuring the safety of numerous NASA missions including Mercury spaceflights, Apollo missions, the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle. Clark wrote, I personally observed an 8 to 9 foot tall ET on a 27 inch video monitors while on duty in the Kennedy Space Center, Launch Control Center (LCC). Space Shuttle Columbia during STS-80 took a crew of five astronauts into a 17 day, 15 hour and 54 minute mission around the earth, the longest flight in the history of this vehicle. During this flight a very strange event occurred that crewman Dr. Story Musgrave was unable to explain and exactly what he observed from the shuttle windows. I had a friend who knew Musgrave who will talk about UFOs.

A large disc shaped object appeared below the Columbia. The shuttle was approximately, 190 Nautical miles high. Astronaut Dr. Story Musgrave, a Payload Specialist on the STS-80 Mission, was interviewed following the flight. As he viewed a videotape of the incident which showed lightning flashes in the atmosphere, the city lights of Denver, Colorado and other earthbound sights, he stated: “I don’t know what it is. Whether it’s a washer, debris, ice particles, I don’t know. But it’s characteristic of the thousands of things which I’ve seen.”

Pentagon Says Defeating ISIS Cannot Be Done by Airstrikes Alone

Otto Kreisher writes, “Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists rampaging through Iraq and Syria are “an imminent threat” to the United States and it will require a prolonged struggle to defeat them. The US-led airstrikes in northern Iraq have “stalled” ISIS’s advance and allowed the Iraqi and Kurdish forces “to regain the initiative” and retake the crucial Mosul Dam,” said Hagel.

However, Hagel repeatedly said ISIL will not be beaten by airstrikes alone. Dempsey said the effect of the 298 “targeted airstrikes” shows that “it is possible to contain them,” but “not in perpetuity.” He stressed that defeating ISIL in Iraq requires a unifying government in Baghdad that the Iraqi Sunnis and Kurds will support. Attacks will be needed in Syria the home base of ISIS. ISIS is predominately Sunni and gained ground rapidly in Sunni-dominated areas because the Iraqis there would not support the primarily Shia Iraqi Army. Hagel said. “The Pentagon would continue its current limited missions, but would “consider all options.”

House Homeland Security Chair Rep. Michael McCaul said today he believes that ISIS, the jihadist army that has taken control of large part of Iraq and brutally murdered American journalist James Foley, has external operations under way to hit the West. “Their focus right now is establishing the caliphate. But don’t kid yourself for a second, they [are] intent on hitting the West. And there are external operations, I believe, under way,” McCaul, R-Texas, told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week.”

“We have tens of thousands of foreign fighters from all over the world pouring into this safe haven that’s now been established, including hundreds of Americans with Western passports and legal travel documents, which would enable them not only to travel to Western Europe, but to the United States,” McCaul added. Reuters says Syria says they will would work with any state to fight Islamist militants

Reuters reports the United Nations on Monday condemned “appalling, widespread” crimes by Islamic State forces in Iraq, including mass executions of prisoners. Up to 670 prisoners from Badush prison in the city of Mosul were killed by Islamic State on June 10. Sunni inmates were then separated and removed. “ISIS gunmen then yelled insults at the remaining prisoners, lined them up in four rows, ordered them to kneel and opened fire.”

Back during the great depression, Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.

I had my smart phone with me and took a picture, but it was quickly gone. When I got home I looked at the photo a little more carefully and saw that it was in the photo.

San Diego — My brother was in with his girlfriend and they were taking some pictures in 2012. Just recently they looked back at the photos on a large screen TV and noticed a black dot in the photos. We also played around with the color, contrast, brightness of the pictures were amazed. We would love to have them reviewed by professionals. It looks to be some disturbance of the air around the craft. It looks like a key hole in the sky and what is going on there. If you zoom in to 800% you can observe the strange phenomenon happening in the sky. Colorado Light

Highlands Ranch — I saw a large red and white light in the eastern sky out of my kitchen window on August 18, 2014. It was the night of the “super moon” and the light appeared slightly larger than a planet, but smaller than the moon. It was strange because it appeared red on the left side and white on the right side. It was hovering, as if it were a star and then moved quickly straight up .and then down. I called my husband and adult son to come out on our deck to watch. The light moved left and then right. Through my telephoto lens and I saw a large orange orb with other colored orbs behind it. The orb first seemed round, but then appeared somewhat hexagonal. The light then changed into four lights, two yellow lights a red light and a green one. We all felt we were witnessing a UFO. Bunnell — My daughter and I were driving east on Mahogany Drive toward CR 305 at 8:45 PM, on August 20, 2014. At the stop sign, looking east, we saw three very bright lights hovering above the fields. At first we both it was a small airplane, but my daughter said. “That’s not an airplane!” We then turned east on CR 302 to follow a bright white light. She tried several times to get a photo but trees were blocking and followed turning south onto CR 65 to see if we could get a picture. We drove to a clear area and looked west but the lights were no longer there so we went home. She checked her pictures at home and we were surprised by this image. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Illinois Giant Spaceship

Waltonville — I was out fishing with friends, when I noticed this ship just cruising along at a very high altitude on August 23, 2014. I had no way of getting a picture, but this thing had to be at least a half mile long or longer. It had a slight glow to it. It reminded me of some of the giant ships in the Star Wars movie. This is an outline of the craft. Please remember this is just the bottom of the object so I have no idea on how tall this thing was. It was flying in a straight path heading north from my location. Louisiana Bell

West Monroe — My wife and I notice an orange bell shape object float about 200 to 300 feet above the ground that I could see through on August 24, 2014.

Michigan Cigar

Clinton Township — I was taking pictures with my Nikon D3100 camera using an 18mm-55mm lens to capture lightning strikes from a storm that was heading over my residence at 6:25 PM, on August 19, 2014. The storm was moving east and I was shooting when a lightning bolt was discharged from the wall cloud and I managed to capture two pictures of this cigar like object. After taking 145 photos of this storm, I saw two pictures with a cigar shaped object following the south end of the wall cloud. The cigar was only visible after I reviewed my photos on my computer. The object was a dull gray/black, solid body, no lights or windows or protruding areas. The ends are rounded and fit the cigar shape perfectly. It was 30-50 feet in length and about 800 feet high and followed in back of the main wall cloud that contained high winds and rain. It moved to the east, along with the storm. It had moved hundreds of feet in less than 4 seconds silently. A few times my camera would NOT shoot for as long as 5 seconds. There are four pictures without the object. I am sending in the enhanced (contrast/brightness/cropped) picture above.

Adding to this report is an enhanced sepia color picture to make this previous object more visible captured last year on June 17, 2013. This is another picture from a previous rotating wall/funnel cloud and object in case you want to compare the objects from this storm and the recent storm in this report. Nevada Blue Orb

Las Vegas – I was scanning the southern sky in mid August from my upstairs patio because a couple of days ago I saw a group or stars that appeared like they were in a circle. I had the camera on and all of a sudden I got a warning on the LCD that stated, “This battery is incompatible with your camera.” I thought I would go in and change the battery, but then I remembered how another sighting turned off my cell phone. I had zoomed in when I saw a blue, pulsating light that was changing colors. I could not get a good edge detail, as there was some kind of aura around it. My cell phone got turned off 3 more times, so I got another battery and was able to film for 20 minutes. It was not a star, as it constantly changed colors in an amazing way. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New Jersey Wedge

Atlantic City – A Ufo hovered about 1 mile off the coast with a large rectangle light on the front of it on July 20, 2014. It was wedge shaped as it passed over our heads with two small blue lights underneath the wing tips. The object was about 500 feet over our heads high. We work at Revel Casino and were checking the outdoor pools and spas on the 5th the floor. It passed over very slowly, no more than 40-50 mph. The building blocked the view after it passed by. At first we thought it was a coast guard helicopter doing night rescue missions. It was very exciting to see it. This was my second time seeing a ufo. Ohio Object

Malvern — My brother and I were driving home on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 1:30 AM and we saw a group of lights hovering above the trees over the town. At first there were 6 to 8 orange and red balls of light moving around in circle rotations. There was no sound as they just disappeared from sight. A few minutes later two more balls of light came across town from the same direction. They were moving east to west. They seemed to be moving slow, but they went across the sky in just a few seconds. Lakewood — I was returning to work when I spotted a strange, slow moving object in the sky on August 20, 2014.

Oregon Orb

Eugene — I saw what looked like straw or chaff falling from the sky while I was on the backyard patio. Some fell in the yard. It is harvest season up and down the Willamette Valley. I was looking for more falling ‘straw’ with my camera, when I saw something else that wasn’t falling straw like material. The object was bright white and looked as if a sheet of white paper was flipping way high in the sky. My camera was handy: Nikon D3000 DSLR with a 55-200mm zoom lens. I got about 17 good shots at full 200mm zoom. I was also watching vultures that seemed to appear in places I had been watching where there was nothing before. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Zapata – On August 12, 2014, we discovered this glowing red anomaly at 8:50 PM. CDT

This is a very interesting catch as it is possibly a ball lightning event, given the electrical storm activity at the time. Ball lightning is still relatively rare to witness, let alone recording it on video.

Utah Orb

Lake Powell — While using my multi shot feature on my iPhone 5s, in an attempt to capture lightning strikes I captured this object on August 18, 2014. They are in order, and if the iPhone multi shot takes one frame per fraction of a second, these four frames show an undistinguishable orb traveling at un-earthly speeds in a perfectly direct trajectory. There is an appearance of some sort of colorization that matches the clouds, but as it moves from darker clouds to lighter, the dark color remains. If threes four shot encompass about 2.5 seconds, it appears to travel about 50 miles per second. I thought you might investigate further. With one saturation level I find something that appears to be a ring.Thanks to MUFON CMS

Wytheville – On August 9^th, 2014, at around 4 PM, my mother, my daughter and I were traveling on 77 North (about 30 miles south of Wytheville. Traffic was moving very slow and was continuously “jamming” up to a slow crawl. I was the passenger, my mother was driving and my 10 year old daughter was in the back seat. I took the opportunity to photograph views of the countryside, being that we are from Michigan and randomly photographed it. I decided to flip through my photos I had taken, when I came across this one. I must say I was pretty surprised as I did not see this object. I know it was not the rearview mirror. There was no sun out, and it was raining and foggy, so I discounted any type of sun reflection. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Washington Disc

Gig Harbor – I was on the beach at low tide on Forest Beach on Monday, August 11, 2014 around noon with my children and grandchildren. I was photographing everyone catching crabs and star fish and looking at shells on the beach. I just decided to take a picture of the horizon and the lovely scenery at 12:04 PM. I did not see anything unusual. However, when I downloaded the photos later that day I saw the round yellow object in four sequential (rapid shot) photos and the object was in a different position in each one. I am not saying it’s a UFO, but everyone who has seen the photos says it has to be. It was too far from land to be a Frisbee or a remote control plane. When I zoomed in close on the computer, the object definitely “looks” like a UFO with a little bulge on the top with windows. I was looking out over Hales Passage (part of Puget Sound). Sydney — I took these pictures of a sunset for my fiancé at a marina on August 6, 2014. After looking at the pictures later that evening I noticed three bright dots on the horizon and to my amazement after zooming in look like very bright sphere shaped objects hovering. Maidstone, Saskatchewan — My Husband and I were driving east along the Yellow Head Highway #16 on July 22, 2014. Sometime after midnight we drove into Maidstone to get some rest. We were facing south at the corner of Railway Avenue and Third Street when we saw the object above a field not far from us. I saw a white streak across the sky that suddenly stopped and just hung in the air. It was a long oval that seemed to divide into two rainbow colored parts with a bright white light at one end. My husband and I asked each other if we saw what we were seeing as it divided and disappeared silently.

My Husband’s account of the same sighting was it was 300 meters away and filled up half the windshield. It looked like it was made of a cluster of tubes, green with 2 or 3 red lights at the end. At one end there was a bright white and yellow glow almost like a mist. The colors on it were the brightest and most vivid I have ever seen. In a split second it shot away from us and was gone. Both of us spent more than 10 years in the Canadian military and know aircraft and this was nothing like we have ever seen before. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Spain Lights

Santa Cruz de La Palma — Still in the Villa de Mazo near the Mirador Las Toscas (Island of La Palma) I was photographing stars and night landscapes on August 6, 2014. I was taking photos and tracked the object and wanted to check where they came from. The object was near a mountaintop covered with forest and looked liked two flashlights with very clear lights. I saw that they were flying very slowly in a horizontal line with their lights fixed, one in front of the other. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Thalasso Resort– My brother was on holiday in Turkey with his family on August 11, 2014. He sent his holiday photos to the family and I noticed the photo attached. I asked him about the object in the sky and he said he hadn’t noticed it. We couldn’t figure out what it is. I hope you can provide an explanation.

Bursa – On August 20. 2014, we were sitting on the balcony and we saw a dark red-orange light. The light at first was growing and then small and eventually disappeared after four seconds.

Eskiþehir – I did not observe it by the naked eye, I only saw it when I was checking my photos on August 9, 2014. Last year my wife and I visited our friends at Eskiþehir, a large city in middle region of Turkey.

Swansea, South Wales — During the early morning a retired solider looked up and spotted this UFO hovering over the city in

Swansea. Mr. Lewis use to be in the Royal Armored Corps, and immediately ruled out the possibility of this object being a plane or helicopter. Such bell shaped UFOs have been seen in the past. SCW

Mr. Lewis stated: “It was very hot in my bedroom so I opened the window and noticed a strange, stationary object hovering above Swansea,” he said.

“The object made no noise and my first notion was perhaps it was an exceptionally large bird of prey however the object remained stationary for at least five minutes.”

In 1951 Sen Tensing, Shipton, and I descended from the Menlung La ... at about 16,000-17,000 feet we came across a whole series of footprints in the snow, on the lower part of the glacier. There seemed to be two groups, one rather indistinct in outline leading on to the surrounding snowfields. The others were much more distinct with, in places, a markedly individual imprint etched in the 2- to 4-inch covering of snow. We had no means of measuring so after examining them Shipton took four photographs: two of the indistinct prints with myself, my footprints, and rucsac beside them for comparison; the other two photographs were of one of the most detailed and distinct group of prints, with my ice axe for scale, and a second one with my booted foot. The footprint was about the same length as my boot, and I take a size 42 continental, or 8½ British, which is about 12 to 13 inches long. The print was nearly twice as broad as my boot (3 to 4 inches) and had clear-cut edges in the crystalline snow on a base of firm snow ice. There was the definite imprint of a big toe that was broader and shorter than the other rather indistinct toes, of which there seemed to be four or five. We followed these tracks for some way down the easy glacier and noticed that whenever a narrow 6-inch-wide crevasse was crossed there seemed to be claw marks in the snow at the end of the toe imprints. ... Two days later we were joined by Murray and Bourdillon, who, after visiting the Nangpa La ... had followed our route into the Menlung Basin. All tracks had been deformed by the sun and wind.' (Michael Ward, 'Everest 1951: the footprints attributed to the Yeti -- myth and reality', Wilderness and Environmental Medicine, 8, 29-32 (1997)).

Shipton's photographs ignited speculation about the existence of a Yeti which had been growing since N.A. Tombazi made the first European sighting during an expedition to the Sikkim Himalaya in 1925.

Edmund Hillary had a further encounter in 1952 on a pass between the Ngojumba and Khumbu glaciers: 'We were climbing quite a steep pitch when Pemba stopped and picked something off the rock. Obviously greatly excited, he showed it to Angpemba. Feeling somwhat curious, I asked them what it was all about. They placed in my hand a tuft of long black hairs -- thick and coarse, they looked more like bristles than anything else. "Yeti, Sahib! Yeti!" I couldn't help being impressed by their conviction, and it did seem a strange place to find some hair. We were well over 19,000 feet and the Abominable Snowman was obviously no mean rock climber' (Hillary, High Adventure, 1955, p. 103).

Following these various incidents, Hillary mounted an expedition in 1960 to collect and evaluate evidence of the Yeti, with inconclusive results. British mountaineer Don Whillans was a fervent believer, claiming he encountered the Yeti while scaling Annapurna in 1970. He observed a few human-like footprints in the snow around his camp one morning and, that evening, claimed that through binoculars he watched a bipedal, ape-like creature for about 20 minutes as it apparently searched for food not far from his camp.

The Yeti, one of cryptozoology’s highest profile creatures. Does it really exist? There is a distinct lack of hard scientific evidence for it, but the members on this expedition swore blind that they didn’t hoax the photographs … so what made them?

15th human foot washes ashore in the Pacific northwest

A human foot, still inside a New Balance tennis shoe washed ashore in Seattle this week — and if that wasn’t mystery enough, it’s the FIFTEENTH foot that’s washed ashore along the Pacific Northwest coast since 2007!

15 human feet have washed ashore along the Pacific Northwest coast — from Canada down to Tacoma — over the last seven years.

And no one seems to know where they’re coming from.

“Who knows where they originated?” resident Albert Hulsen told FOX31 sister station Q13 FOX in Seattle. “Maybe it’s not from this area at all but from one of the surrounding islands.”

FOX6’s sister station, Q13FOX in Seattle says the latest foot was discovered last Tuesday, August 19th — by volunteers picking up trash.

A forensic anthropologist with the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, where the foot is being examined says the foot likely wasn’t severed, but detached from the body as it decomposed at sea.

“The bones fall apart. They (feet in shoes that have washed ashore) are not being severed. They’re not being purposely cut off. Tennis shoes not only protect the feet but they’re also buoyant, and so they either float on the surface, or they’re in the high part of the water column, so they will float in with the tide,” the forensic anthropologist said.

The Medical Examiner’s Office has released a picture of the tennis shoe in which the foot was found in an attempt to identify the person who wore the shoes.

Q13FOX reports it is a New Balance shoe, men’s size 10 1/2. It is a white sneaker with blue trim.

This model of shoe was first available for purchase in April of 2008.

A black, cotton Hanes sock was on the foot when it was found.

There is no word on whether authorities have made any effort to link this foot to the other 14 that have washed ashore since 2007.

So where are these feet coming from?

A local expert on tides told Q13FOX the feet could be local — or they could be winding up in the Northwest by way of the Strait of Georgia in Canada or the Strait of Juan de Fuca that connects the Puget Sound near Seattle to the Pacific Ocean. - Fox6Now

Sewer Fishing in Katy, TX

A teenager from Katy, near Houston in Texas has taken to using the sewer grate in front of his home to catch fish.

It's 16-year-old Kyle Naegeli's hobby. And the Katy High School junior is quite good at it. He claims to have caught hundreds of fish using this method.

Naegeli has been a drain angler for four years now, using a hook and fishing line, with hot dogs (“the cheap ones” he says) and shad fish acting as bait.

“Sometimes it takes a few hours to catch something,” he says, maintaining that sewer fishing takes patience. Naegeli doesn't eat the sewer fish, owing to its questionable origins. The fish swim into the sewer line from a nearby pond.

‘Earthquake Lights’ Phenomenon Witnessed During Napa Valley Event

The mysterious ‘earthquake lights’ phenomenon was seen over Napa Valley during the recent seismic event:

MOUNTAIN VIEW (KPIX 5) – Several people called the KPIX 5 newsroom after Sunday morning’s magnitude 6.0 earthquake in Napa, reporting mysterious flashes of light in the sky. Witnesses said the strange phenomenon looked like lightning.

Similar flashes of light have been reported in earthquakes around the world, from Japan to Peru.

Friedemann Freund, a scientist with the SETI Institute in Mountain View, said the same thing happened during Sunday morning’s earthquake. And it wasn’t a transformer blowing up or UFOs.

“What they are, are a consequence of the stresses building up deep below the earth, seven miles like in the case of the Napa Valley earthquake,” Freund told KPIX 5.

He calls the phenomenon “earthquake lights,” the quick buildup of stress that causes an electric current to flow to the surface and burst through the earth. This typically happens before or during an earthquake.

Several North Bay witnesses contacted Freund at the SETI Institute about seeing several flashes around the time the Napa quake hit. They said there was one or two seconds between each one.

The bizarre flashes were documented all over Twitter.

Freund has been studying the lights for 12 years. His team recently looked at 65 occurrences around the world over the last 400 years. Most seismologists don’t believe such things are real.

“There are things that we still don’t understand about the earth, so why not accept unusual, exceptionally unusual phenomena taking place? And the light outburst from the ground is one of them.” – San Francisco CBS Local

14 Things You Didn’t Know About How the Sun Will Die

At some 4.6 billion years old, the Sun is about halfway through its life. In another 5 billion years it will be a normal “adult” star no more. Here’s the skinny on the upcoming demise of the star that you owe everything to: light, warmth, energy, and life.

1. Stars like the Sun will shine for 10 to 20 billion years. But the time that a star like this spends on the so-called “main sequence,” as a normal, “adult” star, lasts for some 5 billion years. In 1942 astronomers demonstrated that once a star transforms 12 percent of its hydrogen into helium, it begins a new kind of stellar age.

2. When a star begins to run out of nuclear fuel, the star turns off, almost like burning out. Because the heat is suddenly turned off, not to mention radiation pressure pushing outward, the star begins to contract.

3. Stars like the Sun face a curious path toward demise. In their old age gravity takes over as the fusion process shuts off. The material left in the star begins to push inward into a smaller and smaller space.

4. Amazingly, the Sun’s average density is pretty close to water. As the dying star falls inward, the Sun is destined to become a red-giant star, and its outer envelope inflates and is shed outward. The Sun’s diameter will push outward as its temperature plummets. During the red-giant phase, the Sun’s diameter will reach approximately where we are, at Earth’s orbital distance.

5. As the Sun swells to a maximum red-giant diameter, it may engulf Mercury, Venus, and Earth, or at least push what is left of these planets outward. At this point the Sun will span 150 times its present size.

6. The dying star isn’t completely dead yet, however. Gravity pushes shells of hydrogen and helium to densities where nuclear fusion can begin, and they are ignited, albeit for a short time. When this happens with the Sun, it will briefly be 2,100 times brighter than we see it now.

7. Some 7 or 8 billion years from now, the Sun will transform into a spectacular end state, creating a brief visual show in our part of the galaxy. It will first become a white-dwarf star, a degenerate remnant that is cool but incredibly dense.

8. The big show will come when the Sun transforms into a planetary nebula, a glowing series of shells of gas that expand outward at various speeds, putting on a fluorescent galactic performance that will last for 50,000 years.

9. As the dying star lumbers on, carbon plays a role as the most important byproduct of fusion. Carbon in the Sun’s atmosphere will settle inward and add to a carbon-rich core. But the core will not ignite in nuclear fusion. Instead, it starts a fit of helium burning, casting the star’s outer layers into interstellar space, forming “belches” of planetary nebula material.

10. The last helium flash, however, splatters dust and gas outward at higher velocities and shapes the planetary nebula by setting up collisions between the new “bullets” of high-speed material and the older, slower-moving shells.

11. Now the planetary nebula evolves its own personality. The white dwarf heats up, stripped of its layers, and ionizes the surrounding gas, heating it as ultraviolet photons rob electrons from neutral atoms. The gas glows like a fluorescent bulb.

12. Superwinds and fast winds roiling off the stripped star interact with the surrounding gases, sculpting the planetary nebula into one of a possible variety of shapes, from spheres to egg-shaped masses to bipolar, squashed ovals.

13. Interplay between the superwinds and fast winds from planetaries sets up some of the intricate architecture you can see in telescopes, with the appearance of a hollow shell carved out by the glowing boundary between the two winds. The shock front is what we see as the edges of the nebula; the hollowness inside is an illusion, as there’s plenty of material inside the nebula, but it does not glow with excited atoms.

14. Magnetic fields also help shape the planetary nebula, modeling the last screams from our Sun, a nebula that will slowly fade away, leaving a tiny white-dwarf remnant star where once was a mighty solar system complete with a great third planet, full of civilization and promise.

The USA Secretary of the Interior rushed to make an announcement:

"Citizens of the nation: I shall not try to conceal the gravity of the situation that confronts the country, nor the concern of your government in protecting the lives and property of its people. However, I wish to impress upon you -- private citizens and public officials, all of you -- the urgent need of calm and resourceful action. Fortunately, this formidable enemy is still confined to a comparatively small area, and we may place our faith in the military forces to keep them there. In the meantime placing our faith in God we must continue the performance of our duties each and every one of us, so that we may confront this destructive adversary with a nation united, courageous, and consecrated to the preservation of human supremacy on this earth. I thank you."

This all happened on Sunday, October 30, 1938 and, as you will no doubt know, was only a War Of The Worlds radio drama but it supposedly sent people into panic thinking it was for real.

Thousands of people, believing they were under attack by Martians, flooded newspaper offices and radio and police stations with calls, asking how to flee their city or how they should protect themselves from gas raids. Scores of adults reportedly required medical treatment for shock and hysteria.

Now there is a coincidence attached to all of this!

The War Of The Worlds author HG Wells stopped his car to ask directions in San Antonio, Texas and amazingly the man he asked turned out to be Orson Welles - the man who had petrified a sizeable chunk of the population with his radio broadcast of Wells's alien invasion story.

New Jersey woman spots UFO in back yard

A New Jersey witness at Washington Township reported a bright orange, bell-shaped UFO, in her back yard that quickly moved into the sky and disappeared, according to testimony in Case 59379 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was outside at 8:30 p.m. on August 14, 2014, as a storm was approaching from the northwest when the object was first seen.

“I walked out my back door and picked a tomato off a patio plant,” the witness stated. “I then walked to the fence on my right and tossed the tomato over it – for the birds. When I turned around, I saw a large orange/red glowing object that reminded me of a burning ember from a fire – very bright.”

The witness described the object’s movement.

“It came from over the top of the neighbor’s lower roof (which is probably 10 feet high), moving steadily toward the southeast through our backyard. It seemed to move right through trees/leaves – if it navigated around them, I didn’t notice that.”

The witness described the object.

“There was no sound, no smell, no anything. It appeared to be translucent with fire inside of it (or like churning gas), and at some point I saw a clear edge to it. I remember thinking I could see through it, if it weren’t for all that fire inside. When I say it looked like a jellyfish, it was the shape of a contracted, bell-shaped jellyfish.”

The object was low to the ground.

“It was approximately six feet off the ground moving through the backyard and I was only about 10 feet from it at one point. I estimate the size to be eight feet tall by five feet wide. It moved at a pace like a fast walk, but steady.”

The witness then called to her husband to come out and see the object.

“My husband only saw the bright orange glow, not the object itself, because there were trees blocking his view of it by the time he got there.”

The witness tried to keep the object in view.

“Knowing I would lose sight of it on that side, I ran to the other side of the backyard (where I had thrown the tomato over the fence). I was expecting to see it clear the front of the house, low to the ground like I just saw. I saw it in the sky over the houses across the street, climbing higher in the sky – it must have climbed pretty fast because it was only about six feet off the ground in the backyard. Now it was way above the trees on the other side of the street.”

The witnesses attempted to get a photograph of the object but were blocked by trees.

“By the time I ran out front (only a matter of seconds), it was now in the southwest sky and very high up, where planes fly. We continued to watch it climb higher and higher until it was a bright glowing orange dot and then it disappeared. When I saw it, I wasn’t scared – more amazed and curious than anything.”

The witness has ruled out Chinese lanterns.

“I looked at those memory lanterns people are sending up and while the shape was similar, the glowing intense color and size are all wrong. If it was a man-made article, like one of those lanterns, it would have gotten caught on something (trees, limbs, bushes, fences) as it passed through the yard. Our next door neighbor was driving toward home at that time and saw a bright orange glow coming from our backyards.”

Washington Township is a township in Gloucester County, New Jersey, population 48,559. New Jersey MUFON is investigating. New Jersey has a current UFO Alert Rating of 4 with a higher than average number of recent reports nationally. New Jersey had 24 UFO reports in July 2014 – the 11th highest reporting state – while California had 104 reports as the highest reporting state. The above quotes were edited for clarity. Death Valley’s Greatest Mystery Finally Solved and It’s Not Aliens This Time

For Years Scientists, conspiracy theorists, ufologists all have theorized about how large rocks — some weighing hundreds of pounds — zigzag across Racetrack Playa in Death Valley National Park, leaving long trails etched in the earth.

Now two researchers at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego, have photographed these “sailing rocks” moving.

On Dec. 20, 2013, the cousins Richard Norris and James Norris cataloged 60 rocks moving across the playa’s pancake-flat surface.

The rocks move about 15 feet per minute, according to the report.

After getting permits from the National Park Service, they installed a weather station in the area and placed 15 stones equipped with global positioning devices on the playa.

“Observed rock movement occurred on sunny, clear days, following nights of sub-freezing temperatures,” they wrote in a report published Wednesday in the online scientific journal PLOS ONE.

Cousins Richard Norris and James Norris said the movement is made possible when ice sheets that form after rare overnight rains melt in the rising sun, making the hard ground muddy and slick.

The “GPS stones,” which were engineered to record movement and velocity, were stationed at the southern end of the playa where rocks begin their strange journeys after tumbling down a cliff.

At the end of last year, Richard and James Norris returned to inspect the instruments.

“We found the playa covered with ice,” Richard told the Times. “We also noticed fresh rock trails near shards of thin ice stacked up along the shoreline.”

The following afternoon, “we were sitting on a mountainside and admiring the view when a light wind kicked up and the ice started cracking,” he said. “Suddenly, the whole process unfolded before our eyes.”

UFO photo taken at Van Lake in Turkey

A man in Turkey believes he may have taken a photo of a UFO near Van Lake, home of the Van Lake Monster.

Gaziantep News reports they received an email from Ahmet Baygümüş with a UFO photo attached. Baygümüş says on August 24 at around 7 pm he was taking pictures of the landscape and the sunset with his phone. He did not see anything unusual. However, when he reviewed the pictures later he saw a strange light in the image.

Baygümüş says he returned to the location the next day at the same time, but did not see anything unusual.

Baygümüş sent the image to Gaziantep News hoping they could offer an explanation as to what he might have seen. Gaziantep News suggested it appears to be some sort of light beam, and listed Baygümüş’ contact information for people to share with him their thoughts.

Given that Baygümüş did not see the light when he took the picture, it is possible that the light is due to some sort of reflection or flare happening in the phone, and the orb of light was not actually there.

Gaziantep News also noted that Van Lake is home to another paranormal mystery, the Van Lake Monster. Rumors of a strange creature living in Van Lake are said to have begun in 1995. Some researchers say there was a story in the local newspapers in 1889 of a man who was reportedly carried away by a creature that came out of the lake. Supposedly, Turkish officials were sent to the area, but did not find the monster.

In 1997, a 26 year-old man by the name of Unal Kozak claimed to have captured several videos of the Van Lake Monster. A CNN story on the video said that images were sent to Cambridge University to be examined, and that even Jacques Cousteau was planning a trip to the lake to investigate. However, neither Cambridge University nor Jacques Cousteau have presented any analysis.

Kozak’s video is still under debate, and locals are split over the existence of the Van Lake Monster. Although, everyone has fun with the legend. The town of Van has a statue depicting the monster.

AMAZING UFO PHOTO AND DIASAPPEARING PEOPLE IN JAPAN
JUNE 24, 2014   ………….    MT. TOKACHIDAKE JAPAN

On June 24, 2014 at the camping site near Mt. Tokachidake (an active volcano in the northern part of Japan), which has been famous for UFO sightings for decades.  You can see a bright object soaring up from the bottom right corner of the video screen, but in reality, my camera was facing the zenith, and the object was moving horizontally across the sky from the east to the south.  I fixed my camera position and did not follow the object, so the zigzag motion of the object was not because of camera shake. I was the only one looking up the sky and other people (mountain climbers) were already sleeping in their tents.  Since the site was at an altitude of 1200 meters and the temperature was very low at night, there were no insects flying, and the fireflies (lightning bugs) do not exist in the area (the fireflies do not fly at such a high speed in the first place and my camera cannot catch such dim lights). The flying insects usually look like black dots in the light and never reflect the light so brightly (only the moth would show blurry reflections).  The site was completely dark and there were no outdoor lights nearby (and it was a dark moonless night). I could see many stars in the sky with the naked eyes, but my small digital camera (CASIO EX-H10) could not catch any starlight. So you can guess how bright that object actually was.  These video clips are for the general citizens, so at first I did not go into details in my explanation for the media interview especially regarding somewhat mysterious incident occurred before the UFO appeared.  About one and half hours before I saw UFO, I was surprised by a small mechanical sound that I heard from my left side (no more than two feet from where I was standing in the camping site), and I saw a long-haired young woman in white clothes. 

As I mentioned,the site was almost completely dark and I could not even see my shoes very well, so I could narrowly recognized that woman but could not see her face. Then I saw a small and round red light in front of her chest or her solar plexus. I supposed she would be fixing her camera to a tripod to take pictures of beautiful starry sky (but I did not actually see any camera or tripod) . That slender lady was about 5 feet and 7 inches tall and had black hair.  Although I wondered why she was working in the darkness without any lights, I stepped back silently because she did not seem to have noticed that I was standing so close to her and I did not want to surpise a young woman in the darkness. After that I kept standing for a while at some distance from her, but the next time I found that she was gone – disappeared without making any sounds of walking. In the camping site,I could hear footsteps very well even if they were more than 20 meters away.

 

I wondered where she had gone because I did not hear any sounds of car. It was too dangerous for anyone to leave the site on foot because there were wild bears often appear in that area. She was not looking up overhead but straight ahead to the east where the Tokachidake mountains rises – and it was the very direction where the UFO appeared about one and half hours later.  Although there is no certain links between that mysterious lady and the UFO, I have to say that I had seen another mysterious young gentleman who suddenly disappeared before another UFO appeared in the sky when I was waiting for the chance to videotape UFO on the beach of Kamakura on February 25 in 2014. At that time, I saw a large disk-shaped green UFO that circled over my head and flew away. I was so surprised to see the UFO at a such close range that I momentarily forgot about taking its picture even though I had my camera at hand.  Having had such similar two experiences, I came to believe that the mysterious lady and the gentleman may have something to do with the UFOs that appeared after these mysterious people disappeared.  I have videotaped night scenes with my digital camera many times but I have never seen any digital noises. On the other hand, I have heard from my friends that they had witnessed a strange bright object flying with the zigzag motion in Hokkaido area which is one of the most famous UFO hot-spots in Japan.  For the past several years, I have debunked many fake photos and videos as well as mistaken UFO reports, but it does not mean that I am a non-believer. I just wish to know the truth only. So I have conducted a camping in Hokkaido which is very far from Tokyo where I live. And fortunately I had opportunities to videotape the flying objects UFO with zigzag motion.

Teens Experience Frightening UFO Encounter

In March 2010, an extraordinary event took place in Lavonia, New Hampshire…a small town in the central part of the state, situated between Lake Winnipesaukee and Winnisquam Lake. UFO Sighting in Laconia

My name is D. I am sixteen years old and I live in New Hampshire. Last Saturday night I went out with my girlfriend, who lives in Laconia, when we had the following experience: I was with her around 11. We wanted to take her Mom’s car because it was nicer and we wanted to go look at the stars. We went to Fun Spot at the back parking lot in Laconia. There were 8 cars already there when we arrived. Little by little, the cars started leaving one by one. We were the last car in the parking lot. Then the lights of the parking lot and the lights of the houses around us and the lights of the houses down the street started to go out one by one. Then my girlfriend noticed something blocking the moon and asked, “What was that?” I knew it wasn’t a cloud because it moved back against the wind and blocked the moon again. I don’t know how to explain this but it turns into a ball when it wants to slow down and move around quickly and when it wants to go fast, straight, it turns into a flat plate with maze box-shaped lined lights. These were on all the time. The colors were dim yellowish white and did not change. I cannot tell whether these were part of the bottom or not. It flipped a lot. I did not know which side was right or up on it. It was doing this over the trees across the street from the parking lot. It suddenly crossed the street towards our car. Its size was as big as 14 houses. It was really quiet. That’s when we had to leave. But I did not have time to turn on the headlights.

We put the clutch in to start the car and jammed it into 1st and floored it. The front end got picked up and the car could not move. We steered left and right but the car just kept on going up into the air. My girlfriend was scared and she had boogers coming out of her nose while I was cursing. The car was going up and the back wheels were off of the ground. Then I looked out of my window and saw that the parking lot park lines started getting smaller. Both our windows were down this whole time. The front windshield started to crack and shake and the cracks spread from the passenger side to the driver’s side. It popped outwards like it was pulled out.

Something yanked my wrist. Not aggressively. And the whole time in my head something was telling me “Don’t panic,” or “Don’t be scared.” And it wasn’t in English in my head but I got the meaning. It wasn’t a language – I don’t know how to explain it. And on my girlfriend’s side, it had her half-way out of the window. Her butt was off of her seat, maybe one-and-a-half or two feet? and the car was pointed almost completely straight up at the stars – yet I saw no stars.

Every time I tried looking at it, in front, a white film went over my eyes. It was kind of like staring at the sun with your eyelids closed. I could not hear her screaming but I know that she was screaming. My ears felt like they kept on popping from the altitude. I couldn’t hear. The smell was like unbearable, like you want to close your nose. It was spicy, like pepper-sprayish, and clean at the same time – it was a smell that you could stand but you would close your nostrils because it still smells bad. When I tried to fight and get my wrist back in the car, that’s when the grip got stronger. It was pulling my left arm up out of the window – there was no pain but it was strong – …. I was trying to fight off the grip on my wrist. My tongue was numb. The horn beeped by accident and the grip got a little loose. It beeped again in the struggle and my arm flopped down in the car. My girlfriend also fell back in her seat and we realized we were still up in the air. ! It took 2 seconds for the car to drop. When we dropped, the air bags came out. We floored it as fast as we could through the town. It was almost a straightaway to go to my girlfriend’s house with very few turns to take. During this time, both of us couldn’t stop crying. We arrived at her house and her Mom asked, “What happened?” All this took place from 11pm to 12:30 am. It seemed like we were in the air for 10 minutes and it felt like it was forever. Her Mom called the police, and a policeman came.

The policeman did not believe us when we first told him what had happened until he looked at the vehicle. There were no scratches or dents or anything. He said that there was no reason for this to have happened to the car when there are no dents or scratches and no reason for the windshield to shatter and pop out the way it did. He had no explanation for why the windshield popped outwards. Also, when I went to open my cell phone in front of the policemen, I got shocked by it.

On Monday, I went to my doctor to get a whole physical to make sure I was OK. My wrist had a puncture wound while my forearm has a cut that is semi-circular and there’s blood on it. I do remember that when I first looked at my arm after I got it back in the car, it was red with blood. But by the time we got to my girlfriend’s house, there was no blood anywhere. On the center consul of the car, there is an imprint of her hand. I don’t quite understand what the policeman said but it was something about the skin of her hand leaving an impression.

Now, I don’t like to feel bumps in the car, or feel anything that trembles like a boombox. I don’t want to be out in dark areas at night. I also don’t like to walk out to my Mom’s car, anymore, outside. “

“My name is E and I’m eighteen years old. I live in Laconia. Last Saturday night, my boyfriend D came up to see me and we went out. When we got to Fun Spot, in Laconia, we parked in the back in the separate parking lot. We turned off the car and it was totally silent. We were just sitting there and I looked up at the moon. I saw this weird black-shaped object. And then, I said to my boyfriend, “What was that?” He looked up at it and he said, ”If it gets any closer, we need to leave.” I kept staring at the moon to see if it was just a plane or something. It moved back across the moon. It was huge and it looked like it was zig-zagging or changing shape. I couldn’t tell. He said, “I think it’s coming closer.” It flew so fast over the trees getting closer to where we were. It felt like it was zeroing in on us. It blocked the moon. And then, we started panicking and driving away. I thought were were going to hit the Bingo building. We turned left but it felt like we went off of a jump – you know that feeling? like we were on a rollercoaster? And we were in the air. I was trying to pay attention to everything that was going on but it felt like I couldn’t. When I looked up, everything was black. The smell was not nice but it was like something you could stand. It was an odor I’ve never smelled before. I heard absolutely nothing – it was silent. I felt immobilized like I had no control over what I was doing or over my body. I could see nothing. It was like opening your eyes in a pitch black room.

I felt really nervous and scared. I don’t remember crying or screaming. I held on to the center console because I felt like I was lifted. I was holding on so tight that my thumbprint is imprinted on the center console. And then, when I finally realized what was happening, I was so close to the windshield that my body was going forward with my arms behind me. Everything was black. I heard a loud noise like a horn. Once. And then, the car just dropped. I hit my eye on the dashboard and the airbags came out. I couldn’t believe what had just happened. I held my face and I looked over at my boyfriend. I saw that his left arm had blood. I said, “Are you OK?” I looked at the windshield and it was cracked, totally, but only on the passenger side. I could see D but I couldn’t see anything outside. The only thing that made the car drop was the sound of the loud horn. When the car dropped, there was a loud boom. After that, we just drove so fast out of there. The smell went away after we drove away. And I started crying. And I said, “What the h—l just happened?” My boyfriend said, “I don’t know, I don’t know.” I didn’t feel like they were following us.

When we got home, my Mom said that she could hear me from the outside while I was freaking out. I couldn’t stop crying. My Mom said, “Calm down and tell me what happened.” I said, “You’re never going to believe me.” “Is it my car?” she asked.

And I said, “Let me explain,” because I felt that if I didn’t explain it fast enough, it was just going to go away from my mind. At about 12:15 am, a cop arrived. I told him what had happened while I was sitting down at the dinner table. My boyfriend was sitting next to me – it was then that I noticed that there was no more blood on his arm or his clothing. The cop didn’t believe me at first until he finished looking at the car. He told my Mom that there was no reason for the air bags to come out because nothing else on the car was damaged. He didn’t check underneath the car but we found out later that the underside was totaled. The cop said that he was going to the place where we had been.

I just felt thankful that we’d gotten out of there. But I couldn’t stop crying for more than 2 hours afterwards. My Mom said, “You should go take a shower and get the airbag dust off of you.” But I didn’t want to be alone at all. I felt lucky. And there were no scratches or anything anywhere on my body.

The first night, my dream was that I was a little girl, maybe 6 or 7 years old, in an Elementary School classroom. I was looking at myself as a little girl. And then it was like the teacher called me up and I couldn’t talk or say anything – but everybody else seemed to say something for me. Like everything I wanted to say, everybody else was saying it except for me. They were saying exactly what I wanted say. I have never had a dream like this before – where I am a little girl and see anything about the past. I did not feel right at all.

I am better now. I still worry about seeing this thing again and I pay attention to the sky at night. I really don’t go out at night, anymore, because I’m scared. “

UPDATE: someone on the ATS forum contacted the Laconia, NH police and received the following response:

Officer Batstone responded 03-21-10 at 0017 hrs., to take the report from the 18 and 16 year old and look at the vehicle that was damaged. The incident they reported occurred at the Opechee Park, which is no where near Fun Spot as they report to you.

According to the ATS post, Opechee Park is 0.8 miles away from the Fun Spot. Not a great distance, but obviously the “incident” reported was different than the incident submitted to NUFORC.

Honestly, I think these kids were hesitant to tell the police that they parked in the Fun Spot for some reason, so the police report states Opechee Park. BTW, the Fun Spot is a huge place and (from what I gathered online) the parking area is immense.

However the time of 0017 hours (1:17am) on March 21st does correspond correctly in both reports.

This proves there was indeed an incident, that a vehicle was damaged and that an officer was called to the scene.

Police backed up a UFO sighting caught on VIDEO. It is a well documented case and does merit serious open minds.After responding to a call regarding unusual lights in the sky, police in Lower Paxton Township, Pennsylvania say they also witnessed a UFO.

ABC 27 in Harrisburg reported on a UFO sighting in Lower Paxton Township Monday night. Resident Stephanie Wilkerson says she was enjoying a glass of wine when she spotted a strange light.

She told ABC 27, “I thought it was a plane until I realized it wasn’t moving. I watched it for about 20 minutes and I started noticing it changing colors.”

She called to her husband to come outside and also called a nneighbour She says her neighbour was amazed and got a pair of binoculars to get a closer look. At first the neighbour thought it was a planet, but he says it changed colors, turning yellow, which made him rule that out.

Town council repeals decades-old law that banned 'magic arts'

FRONT ROYAL, Va. (WJLA) -- A Northern Virginia community is divided tonight over a debate that sounds like something out of history books.

In Front Royal a decades-old law bans things considered "magic arts."

At a town council meeting Monday night, the passions were front and center.

Someone called this a faith war—pagans versus Christians.

Many in Front Royal say they'd pretty much forgotten about the law that bans fortune telling, Tarot card readings, or practicing magic arts.

When a Tarot card reader set up shop at the Brooklyn Marketplace on Main Street—for just one day—the manager says some people in the town threatened to boycott the other vendors if the Tarot card reader stayed.

"This is an extreme group of people who,have taken on an ordinance to push their own political agenda," says Arlene Ballou.

After looking the law over, the town council scheduled a vote to repeal the ban.

And opponents sprang into action.

Outside the town council meeting, one group of citizens marched carrying a cross while others bowed their heads in prayer.

“For the Judeo-Christian tradition, it's an abomination; it's giving someone the power that God has. Only God knows the future," says Leo Morton.

Inside, it was a packed house and things got heated.

At the last minute one councilmember tried to amend the law to take out offensive terms like "gypsy" but he was quickly voted down.

Police Confirm UFO

Several witnesses, including multiple police officers, saw a strange object over Lower Paxton Township.

The anomalous object was first spotted by Stephanie Wilkerson who had been sitting on her porch on Monday night when something in the sky caught her attention.

Initially believing it to be an airplane, Wilkerson became intrigued when she noticed it start to change color and called her husband outside to see what he thought. A neighbor went inside to fetch some binoculars in an effort to identify the object but remained unable to determine what it could be.

Eventually the police were called in to investigate and an officer turned up at the scene. Having no idea what the object was either he called his superiors for a second opinion but even they were unable to shed any light on the phenomenon.

One officer contacted Fort Indiantown Gap and Harrisburg International Airport to find out if they knew anything about it but was told that there had been no scheduled flights at the time.

Death Valley's sailing stones mystery solved

A team of researchers has finally managed to explain how such large boulders can move all by themselves.

The phenomenon, which was discovered in the 1940s, pertains to the inexplicable movement of extremely heavy boulders across a dry lake bed situated in Death Valley National Park.

Nobody has ever seen the boulders move directly but long trails left behind them in the sand seem to suggest that they have somehow traversed significant distances all by themselves. Some of the rocks that have shifted even weigh upwards of 320kg.

In an effort to solve the mystery once and for all a team of scientists from Scripps Institution of Oceanography visited the site in 2011 and set up a high-resolution weather station and 15 rocks fitted with GPS devices to measure even the slightest movements with impeccable accuracy.

It would take a further two years for anything to happen, but eventually during a visit to the site in December 2013 the team discovered that the area had been submerged in 3 inches of water.

As it turned out the movement of the rocks occurs under a very specific set of circumstances that requires there to be just enough water to cover the ground but not enough to submerge the rocks. The actual movement occurs due to a combination of strong winds, the freezing of the water during the night and the thawing of the ice by the hot sun during the day.

"It's possible that tourists have actually seen this happening without realising it," said co-author Jim Norris. "It is really tough to gauge that a rock is in motion if all the rocks around it are also moving." Read more at Scripps

‘Huge’ UFO reported hovering over small Texas town

A Texas witness at Fairfield reported watching a “very bright, white light” UFO at close range, according to testimony in Case 59342 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was “patrolling on County Road 2570” on her way to County Road 833 at 8:47 p.m. on August 24, 2014, when the object was first seen and thought to be part of a tower. She pulled her vehicle over to the side of the road.

“This huge, very bright object, went up and traveled slowly to my right,” the witness stated. “I then heard this jet-like noise that ended as quickly as it started. I put the truck in gear and went down to County Road 833 and turned around. By this time it was coming back to the spot I had first noticed it.”

The witness again parked her vehicle and while watching the object noticed lights on top of it.

“They went from one side to the other and had a rhythm in its own pace.”

The object then moved south and out of sight.

“It scared me to putting that truck in gear and hauling it straight back to my job site. I told a co-worker and I just kept going on and on about it. Took me about three hours to settle down and I particularly did not want to get back in the truck and go anywhere – period.”

The next day at work, the witness reviewed the area where the object was hovering.

“So the next day, going back to work, I saw that the place the UFO was hovering over is power lines from the power plant.”

Fairfield is a city in Freestone County, Texas, population 2,951. Texas MUFON is investigating. Texas has a current UFO Alert Rating of 3 with a high number of recent reports nationally. Texas had 80 UFO reports in July 2014 – the 2nd highest reporting state – while California had 104 reports as the highest reporting state. The above quotes were edited for clarity. Mysterious lights seen during Napa earthquake not UFOs says scientist (Video)

Several people reported seeing flashes of light after the earthquake that shook Napa Valley on Sunday. Similar lights have been seen after other earthquakes all around the world. A scientist with the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Institute in Mountain View, California says the lights, which are often mistaken for UFOs, are what he calls “earthquake lights.”

KPIX 5 (CBS San Francisco) says they began receiving reports of the strange lights right after the earthquake on Sunday. Other witnesses reported their sightings on twitter.

Scientist Friedemann Freund with the SETI Institute says these sorts of reports are often made after earthquakes all around the world. KPIX 5 included pictures and videos of the lights from Japan and Peru (seen above).

Freund says the lights are often believed to be UFOs or exploding transformers. However, he believes the lights are EQLs, short for “earthquake lights.”

Freund told KPIX 5, “What they are, are a consequence of the stresses building up deep below the earth, seven miles like in the case of the Napa Valley earthquake.”

Freund has been researching the EQL phenomenon for 12 years. He and his team have looked at over 65 cases spanning over 400 years.

Even though Freund offers a conventional explanation for the lights being seen after earthquakes all over the world, most seismologist don’t believe earthquake lights exits. However, Freund is far from being alone in his beliefs.

Earlier this year, the Washington Post reported on an experiment conducted by Rutgers University. They created a miniature model of earthquake-like conditions, and found “huge voltage jumps that result from the shifting of granular material used to mimic the earth.”

Their findings lend credence to Freund’s theory. However, he admits there is a lot of work still to be done. He told the Washington Post, “The observation is really well done, the experiments are well conducted, but the full understanding is not yet available.”

As for those who doubt the existence of earthquake lights, Freund says, “There are things that we still don’t understand about the earth, so why not accept unusual, exceptionally unusual phenomena taking place? And the light outburst from the ground is one of them.”

UFOs caught on video over Skyros Island in Greece

At least 20 witnesses watched several UFOs from the beach on Skyros Island in Greece. One witness caught a few of the objects on video before they sped off at “breakneck speed” into the distance.

Jewish Business News reported on the UFO video posted by YouTube user DisclosureNow – Greece (seen above). The video was reportedly taken soon after 1 am last Tuesday morning, August 12.

According to Jewish Business News, ” The UFOs were seen coming from the eastern part of the island, and they disappeared over the horizon in the sea.”

The description in the video, translated by Google Translate, says that 5 objects were seen flying parallel “in front of the stunned eyes of at least 20 person” who were at a beach bar. They watched the objects for about a minute when suddenly they “arrived at a point in the sky and disappeared at breakneck speed in the distance.”

According to the video, “The astonished patrons not believe their eyes as the objects were within walking distance from the beach – about 500 meters!”

The witness who posted the video says they checked with the Port of Skyros the next day, and were told that they knew of the sighting. Apparently, port authorities rushed to the area, but had not seen anything. They were alerted by other witnesses.

The video description also says that the witness attempted to capture all of the objects on video using their cell phone, but only three could be seen. The third can only barely be seen flashing.

The video does not show much, but if the witness is to be believed, the lights shooting off into the distance must have been quite astonishing.
