Solar Warden: The Secret Space Program Built with Alien Technology

“We now have the technology to take ET home.” –Ben Rich, CEO of Lockheed Skunk Works, 1993

The story behind this quote is an interesting one. At a lecture held in 1993 at the UCLA Alumni center, Ben Rich, the former CEO of Lockheed Martin Skunk Works held a speech about the advancements in space engineering during the previous 40 years.

He concluded with the quote about taking ET home while the final image in his slide presentation showed a “black disk zipping out into outer space.”

Over the years, the Skunk Works division of Lockheed has designed and built a number of high-tech aircraft such as the U-2, the SR-71 Blackbird, the F-22 Raptor and the F-117 Nighthawk.

Taking this into account, some have drawn the conclusion that Rich alluded to advanced technology being secretly developed and it might be responsible for some of the flying disks we see today.

Seems too far-fetched? We’re on the same page but wait, it gets better.

In 2001, British systems administrator Gary McKinnon hacked his way into 97 U.S. military and NASA computers. He intended to find top-secret files regarding free energy but stumbled upon something bigger.

McKinnon claimed to have uncovered a spreadsheet containing names and information about “non-terrestrial officers” and transfers between fleets.

He cross referenced these names with a database of all U.S. Navy and military personnel but was unable to find any of the officers. McKinnon therefore concluded they were not of this world and labeled them as “Space Marines”.

In an interview with the BBC, he said he had been motivated by The Disclosure Project because:

“They are some very credible, relied-upon people, all saying yes, there is UFO technology, there’s anti-gravity, there’s free energy, and it’s extraterrestrial in origin and they’ve captured spacecraft and reverse engineered them.”

McKinnon was discovered just as he was examining the image of a UFO stored in a NASA computer in Johnson Space Center’s Building 8. Caught in 2002, he was facing up to 70 years in prison and several million dollars in fines.

However, the U.K. never extradited him to the U.S. and McKinnon managed to avoid prison. Some say that he was able to do so because he had amassed sensitive information that he used as leverage.

He maintains his claim that extraterrestrial spacecraft have been captured and reverse-engineered and now the alien technology is being used by entities in our own figurative backyard.

Program Solar Warden

This brings us to Solar Warden. According to conspiracy theorists, Solar Warden is an ultra-secret project that maintains a fleet (or several fleets) of spaceships that are operating within our solar system. Some say they’re defending us against alien threats. Others say they’re involved in the covert colonization of space.

Such a fleet would require technology way ahead of what we’ve currently got. In order to send manned missions into the far reaches of our solar system we’d need exotic materials and propulsion systems. But there are some who claim we already do.

“I suspect that in the last 60 years or so, that there has been some back-engineering and the creation of this type of equipment, that is not nearly as sophisticated yet as what the apparent visitors have.”

– Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the sixth astronaut to walk on the Moon

Even so, who would have the coin required to fund such a venture?

The United States’ black budget for 2014 amounted to some $52.6 billion and they plan on spending around $58.7 B this year. But even this astronomical sum isn’t enough to fund or maintain a secret space fleet. And that’s when conspiracy voices start mentioning the deep black budgets.

As it turns out, there might be UFOs that were built on Earth, based on technology that originated elsewhere in the universe, and we might actually have a secret space fleet [capable of interplanetary travel].

Enceladus, Europa will not be habitable, scientists warn

The possibility of alien life on the icy planets and moons in our Solar System could be lower than previously thought, because any water on them will quickly vaporize, according to a new study in Nature Geoscience.

Scientists believe that Enceladus, Saturn’s sixth largest moon, and Europa, Jupiter’s smallest Galilean moon, are the most promising candidates in our search for extraterrestrial life, because of their icy exteriors.

As the Sun ages and gets hotter over time, the ice will melt and turn into water – a key ingredient needed to support life. But the paper published on Monday shows that those icy worlds will “transition directly to runaway greenhouse state, without passing through a habitable Earth-like state.”

Earth is unique, as it has been geologically active throughout its history. Volcanoes have emitted a steady stream of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide that trap heat from the Sun’s rays. It keeps Earth at the perfect temperature for liquid water to exist.

Other bodies such as Enceladus and Europa lack these processes, and with no help from greenhouse gases, the temperature is determined solely on the energy they receive from the Sun.

Researchers from Peking University in China, the University of Chicago and Cornell University in the US, and the University of Toronto in Canada developed climate models to simulate the evolution of the icy planets and moons.

They found that the solar energy – or stellar flux – needed to melt the ice is so high that they just transition from a “snowball state” to a “moist greenhouse state.”

“Our results suggest that an icy exoplanet at the equivalent distance of the modern Earth from the Sun would remain in a snowball state for a billion years or even longer until its received stellar flux evolves to become much higher than the insolation [exposure to the Sun’s rays] for the modern Earth,” the researchers warned.

“Following this, the planet would directly jump to a moist or runaway greenhouse state. Europa and Enceladus will have no habitable period. They will transit to a moist or runaway greenhouse state when the Sun becomes a red giant in 6-7 billion years." ®

When it comes to comets making direct hits on our home planet, no news is good news. Today isn’t one of those days. A new NASA study of the Oort cloud where most of our solar system’s comets are born found that these frozen space rocks are much bigger than expected and up to seven times more likely to hit Earth than previously thought. Is it time to tell Elon Musk to hurry up with that Mars ship?

The study, published in the current edition of The Astronomical Journal, used NEOWISE (Near-Earth Orbit) data from the Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer mission to track so-called ‘long-period comets’ which have orbits or 200 years or longer. That’s just the minimum cut-off – some of these comets can take thousands of years to complete one orbit around the Sun. The comets with shorter orbits (decades rather than centuries) are generally ‘Jupiter family’ objects that are heavily influenced by the largest planet (that we know of) in the solar system.

If they don’t fly by for hundreds of years, why should we — with so many more immediate problems — care?

“The number of comets speaks to the amount of material left over from the solar system’s formation. We now know that there are more relatively large chunks of ancient material coming from the Oort Cloud than we thought.”

University of Maryland astronomy professor and project leader James Bauer warns that the data shows there are seven times more long-period comets measuring at least 1 kilometer across than NASA once thought. It gets worse. Not only are there more of them, they’re bigger than the Jupiter family comets because they spend more time staying solid in frigid space than melting away near the Sun.

Astronomer and team member Amy Mainzer delivers more bad news.

“Comets travel much faster than asteroids, and some of them are very big. Studies like this will help us define what kind of hazard long-period comets may pose.”

Well, at least there’s a group of astronomers watching these long-period comets who will be able to give us some advance warning to start kissing up to Elon Musk for a seat on his Martian bus, right?

Wrong. On July 23rd, 2017, the ATLAS-MLO telescope in Hawaii detected that asteroid 2017 OO1 was on a collision course with Earth. In this case, “was” means the telescope picked up the asteroid three days AFTER it had already made its close pass of 76,448 miles away – just a third of the distance to the moon.

What was that Amy Mainzer said again?

“Comets travel much faster than asteroids, and some of them are very big.”

Hello, Elon?

Russia “UFO’s are real and we know how to Summon them!”

Accrding to Vasily Yeremenko, a Major General of FIB in reserve, academician of the Academy of Security, Defense and Law Enforcement:

“We can say that we learned to summon UFOs in Vladimirovka. To do this, we dramatically increased the number of military flights and movement of the equipment. If the intensity on our side increased, UFOs appeared with the probability of 100 percent.”

The Russians have come to three main conclusions:

• Modern science is not yet able to identify such phenomena.
• The UFOs could be US or Japan surveillance drones.
• The UFOs could be extraterrestrial activity.

According to Svobodnaya Pressa, a news website, the Russian Navy have now declassified records of encounters with unidentified objects that technologically surpass anything ever built by humanity.

A special Navy group headed by Deputy Navy Commander Admiral Nikolay Smirnov collected information on reports of unidentified objects, delivered by submarines and military ships.

According to Vladimir Azhazha, a UFO researcher and former Navy officer:

“Fifty percent of UFO encounters are connected with oceans. Fifteen more – with lakes. So UFOs tend to stick to the water.”

According to one report, a nuclear submarine on a combat mission detected six unknown objects pursuing them. After failing to lose the objects, the captain ordered the submarine to surface – the objects followed, departed from the water and flew away at high speed.

In 1982 a group of military divers training at Baikal saw a group of humanoid beings dressed in silvery suits. Despite the divers trying to catch them, three of them died whilst the other four were injured.

According to Captain 1st rank Igor Barklayof Navy Intelligence:

“Ocean UFO’s often show up wherever our or NATO’s fleets concentrate. Near Bahamas, Bermudas, Puerto Rico. They are most often seen in the deepest part of the Atlantic Ocean, in the southern part of the Bermuda Triangle, and also in the Caribbean Sea.”

Mysterious Blue Pools Dot the Surface of Mars

The images were taken in November 2014 by the Mars Express’s High Resolution Stereo Camera and show the Arabia Terra region which is covered with craters of varying sizes, shapes and depths. A number of the craters show what appear to be blue pools that are in sharp contrast to the reddish surface around them. Is this the evidence we’ve been looking for of water on the surface of Mars?

The official word from the European Space Agency (ESA) is that the pools are the result of an “optical illusion” caused by a combination of Martian winds, erosion, dark volcanic sediments, image processing and probably a few more things. Here’s the explanation from ESA:

Is this a hint of blue liquid water? No, it is an optical illusion caused by the image processing. The blue-hued patches lying within the ragged craters are actually dark sediments that have built up over time. Again, this is due to the winds, which carry dark, volcanic, basalt-rich deposits across the planet.

While it’s true that Martian winds can reach 60 mph (100 km/h), hard enough to blow piles of dirt up against the walls of craters, why haven’t we seen these pools before in previous images? And why are they blue and not just a darkish shade of volcanic ash?

Is the ESA telling the truth about these mysterious blue pools? Or did these photos slip out before they could be removed or photoshopped by space scientists who don’t want us to know about these resorts on Mars? Is Mars One already telling Californians they can escape the drought on Earth by moving to the Red Planet?

Optical illusion? Martian backyard pools? Secret water reservoirs? Mars One recruiting ploy? Something else?

Another Interesting Leak: A Second NASA Scientist Tells Us That ‘Somebody Else’ Is On The Moon

We live in a strange world, and as Neil Armstrong once said, there are “great ideas undiscovered, breakthroughs available to those who can remove one of the truth’s protective layers.” 

Fast forward to today, and a number of people have become aware of the fact that not all of what goes on behind the scenes is made public. This is precisely why the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) was created; it’s a federal freedom of information law that allows for the full or partial disclosure of previously unreleased information and documents controlled by the United States government.

There are still many obstacles in the way of full transparency, one of which is the use of ‘national security’ to keep information classified and hidden from public viewing. This has become more evident with the revelations of WikiLeaks and Edward Snowden, but the problem goes deeper still. Did you know that the U.S government classifies roughly five hundred million pages of documents every single year? NASA Scientists & What They Say About The Moon

Multiple NASA personnel have made some pretty shocking claims about the Moon. George Leonard, a NASA scientist and photo analyst who obtained various official NASA photographs of the Moon, many of which he published in his book titled Somebody Else Is On The Moon, is just one of these personnel.

Although the photos are small in size and their resolution is not up to today’s standards, they   show details of original prints which were huge. While Leonard published the identifying code numbers of the photos in his works to back up their source, we still can’t say for sure that they were real, and their poor resolution only makes matters worse. Far more compelling than these photos are his statements about what was found on the Moon, along with his verified NASA credentials. Leonard was not the only one with a credible background trying to tell the world the truth regarding the Moon and the photos that were taken from the Apollo missions.

“Ladies and gentlemen, my government, NASA, which many of us in the United States say stands for Never A Straight Answer, proceeded to erase 40 rolls of film of the Apollo Program — the flight to the Moon, the flight around the Moon, the landings on the Moon, the walking guys here and there. They erased, for Christ’s sake, 40 rolls of film of those events. Now we’re talking about several thousand individual frames that were taken that the so-called authorities determined that you did not have a right to see. Oh, they were ‘disruptive,’ ‘socially unacceptable,’ ‘politically unacceptable.’ I’ve become furious. I’m a retired Command Sergeant Major. I was never famous for having a lot of patience.” (source)

The quote above is from Bob Dean, who was speaking at a conference in Europe. Bob is a retired US Army Command Sargent Major, and he also served at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) of NATO as an intelligence analyst.

When it comes to the UFO phenomenon, we now have public disclosure of thousands of documents along with hundreds of credible witness testimonies.

It’s also important to note here that the Russian government recently called for an international investigation into the U.S. moon landings regarding the disappearance of film footage from the original moon landing in 1969. They are also referring to the (approximately) 400 kilograms of lunar rock that was obtained during multiple missions between 1969 and 1972. (source)

Leonard argued that NASA knew about extraterrestrial activity on the Moon and attempted to hide that information. He’s not the only one to make such an assertion.

“Read the books, read the lore, start to understand what has really been going on, because there is no doubt that we are being visited. . . . The universe that we live in is much more wondrous, exciting, complex and far reaching than we were ever able to know up to this point in time. . . . [Mankind has long wondered if we’re] alone in the universe. [But] only in our period do we really have evidence. No, we’re not alone.”

Leonard is not the only NASA scientist to say some strange things about the Moon. Recently, a plasma scientist by the name of Dr. John Brandenburg said the same thing. He was the Deputy Manager of the Clementine Mission to the Moon, which was part of a joint space project between the Ballistic Missile Defence Organization (BMDO) and NASA. According to Brandenburg in an interview from this documentary:

It was (the Clementine Mission) a photo reconnaissance mission basically to check out if someone was building bases on the moon that we didn’t know about. Were they expanding them?

He then went on to state that:

Of all the pictures I’ve seen from the moon that show possible structures, the most impressive is a picture of a miles wide recto-linear structure. This looked unmistakably artificial, and it shouldn’t be there. As somebody in the space defence community, I look on any such structure on the moon with great concern because it isn’t ours, there’s no way we could have built such a thing. It means someone else is up there. 

If you were to tell the average person that you think another civilization, advanced enough to have mastered space travel, had been to the Moon before we got there and is possibly still going there, you would, without a doubt, receive some very peculiar looks in return. On the other hand, if that other person were to decide to hear you out, you would probably get their attention pretty quickly. For some, this type of information can be overwhelming, even terrifying, and that’s okay. Many people are not ready to open their minds up to these possibilities, but the truth of the matter is, it’s something we are going to have to confront eventually. We are clearly heading towards the inevitable reality of extraterrestrial contact — that is, if we smarten up and start taking care of our planet to the best of our ability. Perhaps we can make it long enough to realize this future, or maybe it’s coming sooner than we think.

That being said, there is a good deal of evidence to suggest that extraterrestrial contact is already happening.

Football and Brain Injury

A study of the brains of more than 200 deceased football players — including 111 who played in the National Football League (NFL) — reveals that nearly 90 percent of the players had a brain disease called chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).

In the study, published today (July 25) in the journal JAMA, researchers found evidence of CTE in 177 out of 202 brains, or 87 percent of the individuals. Among the brains of NFL players, 110 out of 111, or 99 percent, had CTE. Mysterious glass

Prince Rupert's drops are weird little glass confections that can resist a hammer strike to the head, but shatter with the slightest pressure to the tail. New research has revealed the physics behind the strange phenomenon.

The mystery of tiny teardrop-shaped glass confections that can survive a hammer blow, yet shatter to smithereens with the slightest touch to the stem, has finally been solved.

Over the centuries, scientists puzzled over the riddle of Prince Rupert's drops. In 1994, Chandrasekar and a colleague used a high-speed camera to capture 1 million frames per second of the drops as they shattered. The footage revealed that tiny cracks that form in the tail rapidly spread into the head. [Read more about the solved mystery.]

Stinky Ritual

A preserved toe is famously served as a key ingredient in a by-request cocktail at a Canadian hotel saloon.

The notorious "Sourtoe Cocktail" — a shot of alcohol containing a dehydrated human toe — is a bizarre tradition at the Downtown Hotel's Sourdough Saloon, in Dawson City, Yukon Territory. The cocktail craze kicked off in 1973, after riverboat Capt. Dick Stevenson found a preserved toe in an abandoned Yukon cabin; the toe was thought to belong to a 1920s-era bootlegger named Louie Linken, the Sourtoe Cocktail Club website says.

To date, 71,468 people have downed the drink and tasted the toe, toe captain Terry Lee recently told NPR. [Read more about the drink.]

CRISPR Progress

A group of scientists in Oregon has successfully modified the genes of embryos using CRISPR, a cut-and-paste gene-editing tool.

In general, editing the germ line — meaning sperm, eggs or embryos — has been controversial, because it means permanently changing the DNA that is passed on from one generation to the next. Some scientists have called for a ban on germ-line editing, saying the approach is incredibly risky and ethically dubious. [Read more about the procedure.]

Biblical Roots

The people of modern-day Lebanon can trace their genetic ancestry back to the Canaanites, new research finds.

Haber, Tyler-Smith and their colleagues extracted ancient DNA from the bones of five Canaanites who died in the ancient city of Sidon (an area now in Lebanon). The skeletons dated from between 3,750 and 3,650 years ago. The researchers then compared the genetic sequences of these ancient Canaanites with those of 99 modern Lebanese people, as well as with ancient DNA sequences of more than 300 other people from an ancient DNA database. Unexplained Changes

Sperm counts among men in Western countries have dropped considerably in the last several decades, according to a new study.

The researchers said that they cannot determine from their data what might have caused the decline, but it could be related to environmental or lifestyle factors. The findings are concerning, not only because men's sperm counts are linked with their chances of conceiving a child, but also because poor sperm counts have been linked with a number of other poor health outcomes, including an increased risk of early death. Repeating History

For some skywatchers, the upcoming total solar eclipse on Aug. 21 is more than just a chance to catch a rare sight of the phenomenon in the United States. It's also an opportunity to duplicate one of the most famous experiments of the 20th century, which astrophysicist Arthur Eddington performed in an attempt to prove that light could be bent by gravity, a central tenet of Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity.

But later analyses of Eddington's data seemed to suggest that the astrophysicist's confirmation might not have been the slam dunk he thought it was. Bruns said the debate over Eddington's data is why he wants to do the experiment again. [Read more about testing Einstein's theory.]

A protein that helps make human spit slimy reveals signs that the ancestors of modern humans interbred with an extinct human lineage that was an even more distant relation than Neanderthals, a new study finds.

Now, researchers suggest that a "ghost" lineage of ancient humans may have contributed the DNA for a protein called mucin-7 found in the saliva of modern humans living in sub-Saharan Africa today. [Read more about our unknown ancestors.]

The paper was a hoax written by the so-called Neuroskeptic, who blogs pseudonymously for Discover magazine. The point? NASA SHUT DOWN THEIR LIVE STREAM AS STRANGE UFO ENTERS EARTH’S ATMOSPHERE

UFO hunters have raised the alarm about an alleged intrusion of Earth’s atmosphere by a massive UFO. The mysterious space object, according to UFO chasers, was spotted on the live ISS stream entering the Earth’s atmosphere on July 9, 2016.

The alleged intrusion was first reported by prolific UFO hunter Streetcap1 in a video uploaded online on July 9, 2016, the same day he spotted the mysterious object entering the Earth’s atmosphere.

According to Streetcap1 in the description of his video titled “UFO Enters Earth’s Atmosphere, July 9, 2016,” while it was possible that the object was a meteor, we may suspect it was an alien craft because NASA cut live transmission as it entered Earth’s atmosphere.

The UFO hunter wrote that the object may have been a meteor, but the suggestion appeared to be contradicted by his observation that it paused during entry into Earth’s atmosphere.

“Remember a UFO is an unidentified flying object,” Streetcap1 wrote. “This could well be a meteor or the like. What made it interesting was that the camera cut off when the UFO seemed to stop.”

Streetcap1’s observations sparked a debate among enthusiasts.

UFO Sightings Hotspot argued that although the object appears, at first glance, to be a natural space object, such as a meteor, a closer look could lead the observer to conclude it was an artificial space object, such as space junk or debris, making re-entry into the atmosphere from orbit.

“NASA seems to have a nasty habit of cutting off their live camera feeds every time a UFO enters the frame.”

But according to the blogger, the fact that NASA cut the live video raises suspicion.

“At first glance it could be a natural object like a meteor or an artificial object like space junk or a satellite but what made it interesting was that NASA cut the live camera feed just at the moment the UFO seemed to stop just above earth’s atmosphere,” the blogger wrote.

“If it [was a] recognizable and identified object then there is no reason to shut down the live streaming,” the UFO blogger continued, “but NASA seems to have a nasty habit of cutting off their live camera feeds every time a UFO enters the frame.”

UFO blogger Scott C. Waring also joined the debate. In a post to this UFO Sightings Daily blog, he ruled out the suggestion that the mysterious object was the Moon or a meteor.

Although he admitted the object could be a giant UFO, he argued, rather uncharacteristically, that it was more likely the Chinese space station Tiangong-1.

“I have watched the International Space Station a lot over the last 6 years and I can tell you that this is not the moon, nor a meteor,” he wrote. “It may be the Chinese space station cargo ship, called Tiangong-1, or the other one Tangong-2.”

Tiangong-1 is China’s first space station launched unmanned into orbit in September 2011. It serves primarily as an experimental module for testing and demonstrating space maneuvers and operations, such as docking.

The Chinese plan to replace it with Tiangong-2 in September 2016, according toSpaceflights News.

Tiangong-2 will allow China to place two astronauts in orbit for up to 30 days,Shanghai Daily reports.

This is not the first time that UFO hunters have accused NASA of cutting transmission after a mysterious UFO appeared on the live ISS stream.

A NASA spokesperson made a statement earlier in April denying allegations that NASA technicians deliberately shut down transmission when UFOs appear on the live video. According to the spokesperson, NASA never intentionally shuts down live transmission to hide UFOs. Loss of video is usually due to loss of signals from the ISS.

“The station [ISS] regularly passes out of range of the Tracking and Relay Data Satellites used to send and receive video, voice and telemetry from the station,” NASA spokesperson Tabatha Thompson said. “For video, whenever we lose signal video comes down on our higher bandwidth, called KU. The cameras will show a blue screen indicating no signal or a preset video slate, depending on where you are watching the feed.”

The statement was issued in response to media questions after Waring claimed in a blog post (see video above) that the agency cut live transmission following the appearance of a “diamond” or “horseshoe-shaped” UFO on the live feed.

Jupiter is so big it does not actually orbit the sun

One of my daughter’s favorite books is “Space Walk” by Salina Yoon. Each page shows a planet accompanied by a rhyming factoid about it.

But each time I read it to her — sometimes three or more times a day — I furrow my nerdy brow at this line: “Of all the planets that circle the sun, giant Jupiter is the biggest one.”

The gas giant is indeed the largest planet in the solar system, weighing more than twice the mass of all the other planets,moons, asteroids, comets, and more combined.

However, Jupiter does not technically orbit the sun — because it’s so dauntingly massive.

When a small object orbits a big object in space, the less massive one doesn’t travel in a perfect circle around the larger one. Rather, both objects orbit a combined center of gravity.

For a puny, fragile planet like Earth, which is 0.000003 the mass of the sun, the center of gravity resides so close to the center of the sun that we don’t even notice the slightly off-kilter orbit. It seems as though we circle the star.

The same is true of most other objects in the solar system — except Jupiter.

The gas giant is so big that it pulls the center of mass between it and the sun, also known as the barycenter, some 1.07 solar radii from the star’s center — which is about 30,000 miles above the sun’s surface.

Jupiter is about 0.001 as massive than the sun, but it’s sizeable enough that both the sun and Jupiter orbit that point in space.

Essentially, that’s how Jupiter and the sun move through space together — though the distances and sizes are far different.

So the next time you read a kid’s book that says that Jupiter circles the sun, you’d be forgiven for trying to rip out that page. Just like my daughter enjoys doing.

‘Star Trek ship’ spotted in the sky by UFO sceptic – who admits he’s baffled by the sighting

A ‘Star Trek’ style spaceship has allegedly been spotted hovering in the sky in Canada.

Images of the strange object were captured by a self-proclaimed UFO sceptic who admitted he was the ‘last person’ to believe in aliens or extraterrestrials.

The video has been uploaded to YouTube by Tyler Glockner, UFO hunter and founder of Secureteam10.

In the clip, Tyler says: “Something [has been] caught flying in the skies over Canada.

“It looks like a saucer, it kind of looks like the Star Trek ship from the TV series.”

The strange object was spotted over Random Island in Canada, by a man named Chad Haines.

After handing in the footage to a Canadian news site, Mr Haines admitted to reporters that he was the last person to believe in aliens , extraterrestrials or UFOs.

But after witnessing the unidentified craft hovering in the sky near his house, he says he now can’t explain what else it could have been.

Haines was deleting images off his camera in preparation when he stumbled upon photographs he’d taken earlier in the year.

He said the object was hovering over water ‘near to the moon’ and was visible for two to three hours.

After remaining still for most of that time, the object then moved up and down before rapidly shooting off out of sight.

Haines says the object definitely wasn’t a plane, and said the UFO was far too large to be a drone.According to Tyler, a sighting in the same place was spotted more than 37 years ago in 1978.This time, it was a strange cigar-shaped craft hovering over Random Island. The police officer who spotted the object was subjected to so much ridicule that he barely mentioned the sighting ever again.

Detecting Alien Life Will Likely Be a Protracted Process, Not a Eureka Moment

The space agency is probing the moon of Titan orbiting Saturn in its hunt for life in our solar system.

Researchers have now made stunning new revelations about the frozen world, which is 50% larger than our moon.

The detections were made using Cassini’s plasma spectrometer as it flew through Titan’s upper atmosphere, 950–1300 km above the surface.

“We have made the first unambiguous identification of carbon chain anions in a planet-like atmosphere, which we believe are a vital stepping-stone in the production line of growing bigger, and more complex organic molecules, such as the moon’s large haze particles,” said Ravi Desai of University College London and lead author of the study.

“This is a known process in the interstellar medium, but now we’ve seen it in a completely different environment, meaning it could represent a universal process for producing complex organic molecules.

“The question is, could it also be happening within other nitrogen-methane atmospheres like at Pluto or Triton, or at exoplanets with similar properties?”

Space experts have long believed Titan is a prime candidate for life and has an atmosphere “consistent” with one supported by methane breathing aliens.

So far, Titan is one of the only objects in space other than Earth to have evidence of surface liquid, which is thought to be vital for sustaining alien life.

The cells of Earth’s plants and animals would not hold up well on Titan, where surface temperatures average minus 290 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 179 degrees Celsius), and lakes brim with liquid methane.

The discovery comes as NASA offered an up-close look at the Trappist-1 exoplanets – believed to be key in the hunt for life.

They are also considering launching the Titan Mare Explorer, which would probe the world in a bid to find aliens.

It would take seven years to reach the moon of Saturn and spend six months on the surface looking for proof of life.

Sprawled out over a large swath of Eastern California, in the United States is a vast expanse of arid desert wasteland covering around 3,000 sq mi (7,800 km2), known rather fittingly as Death Valley, located mostly within Inyo County, California. This is an unforgiving, desolate land, which is a stranger to rain and known as one of the hottest places in the world, with some the highest temperature ever recorded in the world, at 134 °F (56.7 °C), recorded on July 10, 1913. It is as deadly, inhospitable a place as you are likely to find, that may as well be the surface of some scorching, barren alien planet, yet it has drawn more than its fair share of visitors who flock here to see the bleak, sun blazed vistas or merely out of pure curiosity. Yet for as many people that come here to visit, there are also those who never return, and this is a deadly, ominous place that has earned a rather sinister reputation for mysterious vanishings and deaths.

One of the earlier unexplained disappearances of Death Valley happened in 1958, when 26-year-old Army pilot First Lieut. Paul Byron Whipkey vanished under strange circumstances from Fort Ord, California. On July 10, 1958, Lieutenant Whipkey casually told his fellow officers that he was heading out to get a quick drink in the nearby town, and he would bizarrely be next seen a few hours later and hundreds of miles away in Mojave, California, where he allegedly checked into a motel for no known reason. The next day, he purportedly bought 14 gallons of gasoline and then proceeded to vanish off the face of the earth. The only clue would come 5 weeks later, when Whipkey’s abandoned vehicle was found by California fish and game officers in a remote, forbidding region of Death Valley, 15 miles away from the main road and 400 miles from where he had begun his odd journey in Fort Ord. Whipkey’s dog tags, suitcase, and other personal belongings were found within, but there was no sign of where he had gone.

The Army was quick to dismiss this all as a case of simple desertion, and would later claim that he had died after wandering away into the desert from his car, but there is no evidence at all of what really happened, and Whipkey’s brother, Carl Whipkey, would be deeply skeptical of this assertion, saying that right off the bat the government was being suspicious about it all. He would claim that from the day after his brother’s disappearance the Army had said they were packing up his belongings, of which Carl would say, “Superhyper Superquick. When you catch them packing up your brother’s clothes one day after he disappeared, you get super-hyper superquick.” Whipkey’s family has never accepted the Army’s official explanation, and feel that there is something more going on here, perhaps even a cover-up, which is especially believable considering that when Carl Whipkey requested information from the Federal Bureau of Investigation under the Freedom of Information Act, he was told that all of the files had been destroyed in 1977 for reasons unknown. Carl has said of the strange case:

The Government knows what happened to my brother. There are so many questions still unanswered. I would be satisfied even if the Army would say they can’t tell us for security reasons. But until then, we can’t rule anything out.

In the meantime all sorts of theories have popped up, with ideas such as that he was really a secret agent who saw something he was not supposed to or was silenced, that he was a test subject for some military experiment, a victim of nerve gas or atomic tests who was covertly swept under the carpet, or even abducted by aliens. Interestingly, it has been found that shortly before his strange disappearance, Whipkey had developed had developed inexplicable black moles and warts all over his body and had frequently complained of not feeling well, as well as displaying personality changes, appearing “nervous and uptight.” He also apparently had had many of his teeth pulled out and replaced with dentures. What does any of this mean, if anything? What happened to Paul Byron Whipkey? Whatever the answer to that may be is lost to us, as no sign of him has ever been found and all records on the case seemingly lost.

Probably the most well-publicized vanishings connected to Death Valley occurred in July of 1996, when four tourists from Dresden, Germany journeyed here to take in the sights. Cornelia Meyer, 27, her 4-year-old son Max, boyfriend Egbert Rimkus, 34, and his 10-year-old son, Georg Weber, were touring Las Vegas and the surrounding region in a rented Plymouth van. It was probably not the best time to be visiting, as at the time Death Valley was in the midst of a scorching, record-breaking heat wave which saw the already relentlessly, oppressively hot temperatures here soar up to 120 degrees and up. Regardless, they set out from their hotel in Las Vegas on July 22, and headed to Death Valley, where they stopped at a visitor’s center to purchase a book on the valley and a map before heading out to explore the heat blasted landscape. This would be the last time anyone would ever see them again.

On July 29, the family failed to board their scheduled flight home, and when a preliminary investigation was launched there was found to be an odd entry written in a guestbook perched on a metal pole at an abandoned mining ghost town in Warm Springs Canyon, which held the cryptic words “We are going through the pass,” written in German and signed “Conny Egbert Georg Max.” Although it was unclear just what they meant by “the pass,” authorities surmised that they must have meant Mengel Pass, a rather rugged and remote, poorly maintained dirt road that passed through a lifeless barren moonscape on the park’s southwestern border.

No other sign of the missing group of tourists was turned up until months later, when on October 23, the abandoned mini-van was discovered by a drug surveillance plane, in an isolated sandy ravine far from any road and well off the beaten path for tourists. The doors of the dust encrusted vehicle were found to be locked, and inside were found to be photo film, empty water bottles, sleeping bags, an information booklet, and a carefully folded American flag most likely bought as a souvenir, as well as a single child’s shoe. Other personal belongings such as wallets, passports, keys, or purses were not found, and oddly no tracks were found around the van either. It was as if they had just vanished into thin air. A beer bottle was found lying on the ground not far away, but it was unclear if this had belonged to the missing group or not.

In the wake of this baffling discovery, over 200 law enforcement officers from both Nevada and California methodically scoured the area on foot, horseback, and from the air, but no further clues were found. For decades the fate of these tourists remained a complete mystery, and theories swirled as to what had happened to them, such as that they had run across nefarious drug dealers and been killed or kidnapped, as well as the ideas that they had staged their own vanishing or that they had simply wandered off into the wilderness and fallen victim to the scathing, inhospitable conditions, but no one knew for sure and there was not a single trace of them or clue to their fate.

In 2009, two hikers were traversing the perilous, bleak terrain of a remote area of Mojave Desert park when they came across the gruesome discovery of human bones mired in the sand and brush. The remains, which turned out to be of an adult male and female, were speculated to likely be those of the missing tourists, especially since Cornelia Meyer’s identification was reportedly found lying nearby, but this is not known for sure and the bones were too damaged by the sun for a successful DNA analysis. Despite this gruesome discovery, the remains have not been positively identified, it still remains a mystery as to what happened to them, and the remains of the two children have never been found.

The case has remained perplexing and widely discussed to this day. What happened to these people? Did they meet with foul play? Were they killed or kidnapped, and if so by who and for what reason? Or did they just succumb to the elements in their foolhardy adventure? Why did they drive their vehicle off road out in the middle of nowhere in the middle of a merciless heat wave, with no provisions and a woefully inadequate water supply? Were they just very adventurous, foolish, or is there some other inscrutable reason? Were those remains of the missing adults, and even if they are what happened to the kids? These are questions for which it seems the answers have remained evasive.

While the case of the missing Germans is by far the most widely circulated and oft-debated disappearance to have occurred in Death Valley, it is certainly not the only one and is not even the weirdest. Just 2 years later, in the Spring of 1998, five women vanished without a trace in the Los Angeles area, laid against a backdrop of assorted other bizarreness. The women were most notable for being part of a sort of New Age cult headed by the enigmatic Peruvian born New Age writer and philosopher Carlos Castaneda, a graduate student in anthropology at UCLA who had gathered quite a reputation for his outlandish esoteric theories and eccentric lifestyle. He was an extremely successful non-fiction writer of New Age books on supposed ancient, mystical knowledge of Native Americans in the 1970s and early 80s, selling millions of copies of his books with titles like The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge, A Separate Reality, Journey to Ixtlan, and Tales of Power, which continue to sell well even now despite having received a good amount of scathing skepticism and criticism over the years.

Almost as well known as his books was his reclusive ways and the cult-like movement he formed in 1973, which was based on supposed shamanic secrets he called Tensegrity, which actually proved to be quite popular, spawning countless workshops, seminars, and instructional videos. One of the strangest aspects of the movement was an extremely secretive group of women Castaneda kept close by, a harem of sorts, which were referred to as “the witches.” Very little was known about the witches, what exactly their purpose was, or even how many of them there were, and they typically used aliases and absolutely refused to be photographed, all of which just added to Castaneda’s mystique. It is known that they were frequent users of peyote and engaged in all manner of shamanic mysticism and metaphysics, such as vision quests, speaking with animals, and various rituals.

Shortly after Castaneda wasted away and died of liver cancer in 1998, five of these witches, Florinda Donner-Grau, Taisha Abelar, Amalia Marquez, Kylie Lundahl, and Patricia Lee Partin, all completely vanished in quick succession. The only clue found at the time was Partin’s vehicle, which had been abandoned at Death Valley’s Panamint Dunes. In 2003, some hikers would find a desiccated corpse half-buried in sand out in the desert wearing shredded clothes. When the remains were finally properly analyzed they were found to be those of Patricia Lee Partin, although the cause of death nor why she had been out in such a remote area of Death Valley could not be determined. One former follower of Castaneda has come forward with his own theory on the matter, saying:

Castaneda once told her (Partin), if you ever need to rise to infinity, take your little red car and drive it as fast as you can into the desert and you will ascend. And that’s exactly what she did: She took her little red car, drove it into the desert, didn’t ascend, got out, wandered around and fainted from dehydration.

None of the remains of the other women, nor any trace of them at all, have ever been found. It is widely thought that they likely committed suicide, which is a theory bolstered by Castaneda’s alleged frequent extolling of the virtues of suicide, which he deemed to be a noble way of gaining transcendence. Some of the witches had even been allegedly tasked with scouting locations in Death Valley such as caves and abandoned mines, one of which was spookily located not far from where Partin was found, that could be used as suitable suicide sites. One former follower has said of this:

He used to talk about suicide all the time, even for minor things. He regularly told us he was our only hope. We were all supposed to go together, ‘make the leap,’ whatever that meant. I didn’t know fully. He’d describe it in different ways. So would the witches. It seemed to be what they were living for, something we were being promised.

Did all of these women commit suicide out in the wastelands of Death Valley, or are the others still alive out there, as some have suggested? No one knows, and it remains an intriguing mystery. A quite macabre and recent disappearance and death in Death Valley happened in July of 2103, when Ryan Singleton, a 24-year-old former model and aspiring actor from Atlanta, Georgia, went out for a short vacation to Los Angeles. While he was there, he decided to rent a car and drive out to Las Vegas. On July 9, Singleton left Las Vegas to return back to Los Angeles, taking a route that passed right through the unforgiving Mojave Desert. At some point, his car broke down near the small town of Baker, after which he got out and began trudging towards the town along the dusty highway. A highway patrolman supposedly picked him up and offered to give him a ride into town, after which Singleton made a call to his friend from a gas station. He then sat down in the heavy heat to wait for his friend to come pick him up, and at some point disappeared off the face of the earth, being nowhere to be seen when the friend finally arrived.

Searches for the missing man turned up not a single shred of evidence as to what had become of him, and it would not be until 74 days later that his body would be found sprawled out in the desert just 2 miles from the gas station, in an area that had already been extensively searched. Spookily, the body was found to be missing nearly all of its internal organs, a very strange detail that authorities would be quick to dismiss as the work of scavengers, even though the rest of the body, including common targets of scavengers such as the eyes, tongue, and other soft tissue, had been relatively intact. The cause of death itself could not be determined and was listed as unknown. Making things even more mysterious is the fact that authorities have been very slow and unable or unwilling to provide further details or information, even to Singleton’s family, with his mother, Iris Flowers, saying:

I’m waiting for answers. I’m in a holding pattern right now. I don’t know anything other than that my son was found with no organs in his body.

There has been much speculation that Singleton met up with foul play of some sort, especially since he was not only African American, but also openly gay, but why would they kill him and take his organs? Indeed, there has been much attention placed on the state of the body, with its missing organs, and suspicion over the official statement that it was scavengers as well. The missing organs have rather been blamed on perhaps illegal organ thieves, or that it was the MO of some sadistic serial killer, but the real reason remains murky. It remains a rather bizarre detail that hasn’t been satisfactorily explained.

In fact, nothing about the case has really been explained to any meaningful degree, and it is shrouded in secrecy and unanswered questions. Chief among these is why would he wander away from the safety of the gas station when he knew his friend was on his way to pick him up, and even then how could he have gotten so totally lost and died just 2 miles away? If he was targeted by nefarious individuals then what was their motive and why would they drag him 2 miles out into the desert instead of just killing him right there at the gas station? And what about those missing organs? Was that done intentionally for some reason or was it the work of scavengers, as authorities seem to think or at least want us to think? What in the world happened to Ryan Singleton? It will likely continue to be another enigma of Death Valley.

These cases have proven hard to come to a conclusion on. After all, this is one of the most formidable, ruthless places on the planet, with a deadly, scorched landscape that makes it one of the most extreme places on the planet. It seems only natural that it should live up to its title of Death Valley. Yet these cases hold so many elements of the weird and strange details that they seem to go beyond merely people being overcome by an aggressive environment that shuns humans, and indeed life in general. Here we have curious clues, baffling evidence, and questions hopelessly without answers. Death Valley is a seemingly forsaken place that not only lives up to its namesake, but manages to hold about itself mysteries which we may never penetrate.

I know what you’re thinking … crop circle? Really? I tend to avoid them unless there’s something interesting about it and this one caught my eye because it resembles a Metatron’s Cube, one of those sacred geometry figures that give a crop circle a greater air of mystery as well as a high challenge for perfect completion. Throw in the fact that Metatron is a name that appears often in literature and on television and that the location of the crop circle has an old legend involving the Devil and you’ve got the makings of an interesting tale.

The 400-feet-wide (120 meters) crop circle was reportedly found on July 18, 2017, in a wheat field near Cley Hill, Warminster, U. K., and photographed by the folks at Cropcircleconnector.com. It’s described as a variation of Metatron’s Cube, so let’s see how close it is.

A Metatron’s Cube is a set of 6 circles placed in a hexagon around a central seventh circle, with six more circles extending from the radii of the inner six, for a total of 13. It also has the five Platonic solids or polygons that can be built within a sphere – Tetrahedron (triangular pyramid), Hexahedron (cube), Octahedron (8-sides), Icosahedron (12-sided) and Dodecahedron (20-sided). The 3D Dimension website shows the correct design of Megatron’s Cube and shows the solids, while Linda Moulton Howe at earthfiles.com points out that the Megatron variation crop circle at Cley Hill actually has 18 triangles inside 18 circles that border the triangles.

Cley Hill saw another crop circle last year – a less-intricate formation said to resemble the calendar wheel of the Mayan Long-Count calendar. But the real mystery of Cley Hill is its association with the devil. According to local legend, the 66-acre mound west of Warminster in Wiltshire was formed by the devil when he was tricked by an old man who recognized him and dropped his sack of dirt that he planned to use to bury the nearby town of Devizes for converting to Christianity.

As fitting of its association with the sacred geometrical shape, the word Metatron has a mathematical origin, coming from the Latin mētātor which means “one who metes out or marks off a place, a divider and fixer of boundaries.” Its most well-known ancient use is in the Judaic Book of Enoch in the form Mattatron, the Recording Angel or the Chancellor of Heaven. Most people today are probably more familiar with Metatron, the Voice of God in Kevin Smith’s movie Dogma, played by the wonderful real voice of the late great Alan Rickman. Metatron also shows up as an angel character played by Curtis Armstrong in the TV series Supernatural, an angel in the manga series O-Parts Hunter and and angel in the science-fiction/fantasy trilogy His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman.

With that kind of history both past and present, it’s fitting that the name Metatron is associated with a sacred geometric figure and ended up near a hill with a devilish origin.

NASA SCIENTISTS FOUND 'GOD' 17,000 LIGHT YEARS AWAY

Has GOD finally been discovered? Supposedly NASA Scientists believe GOD is 17,000 Light Years Away but is this all true? NASA Scientists were faced with a terrifying image that aimed at a galaxy that was 17,000 light years away. This started the speculation that the supposed Creator of Universe was finally caught on film.  

The Space Agency's Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array or The NuSTAR was directed towards a pulsar called PSR B1509-58, and it's at an extremely staggering distance from earth. What was sent back was a masquerade of an outstretched hand which has become known as the iconic

Hand of God.

Scientists believe the hand to be the remnants of a star which went supernova and ejected an enormous cloud of material which left pulsar PSR B1509-58 in its wake. When the remnant cloud was viewed via high energy X-rays, it showed up as a green, red and blue hand, which is about 175 light years across.

NuSTAR telescope principal investigator Fiona Harrison said, "NuSTAR's unique viewpoint, in seeing the highest energy X-rays, is showing us well-studied objects and regions in a whole new light'. Fiona added that "The new image depicts a pulsar wind nebula, produced by the dense remnant of a star that exploded in a supernova." What was left behind from all this was a pulsar by the name of PSR B1509-58 which can spin around seven times per second and blow a wind of particles into material that was ejected during the star's death throes.

When these particles interact with nearby magnetic fields, they produce an X-ray glow in the shape of a hand. Scientists currently are not sure whether the ejected material assumes the shape of a hand, or whether its interaction with the pulsar's particles was just making it appear that way.

Scientists have gathered a few things from all this being that the NuSTAR hand looks more like a fist which has given them some clues and the red cloud that appeared at the fingertips is its structure called RCW 89. However, some believers that reside on religious websites are not interested in their views.

Crop circles are not something that is new, and they are a phenomenon that people just cannot ignore. Different formations of crop circles show up every year and are reported, and many of them have mystified the scientific realm. Some people have said that there is nothing mysterious about crop circles as they have been made using a board and rope and a lot of time and effort. However, there are some amazing things that happen inside the circle, which seem to blow that theory away.

LEADING RESEARCHER SAYS FORMATIONS ARE SO COMPLEX THEY DEFY REASON

One of the leading researchers of UFOs in the world, Richard Dolan, also a historian, author and academic, said that some of the formations in some of the crop circles are so complex, along with being immense, that they defy reason. He went on to say that after many decades, no one has been caught in the act of making one of the formations.

So even scientific minds cannot seem to work out just how and why the crop circles are made, despite the fact that many think they are the work of human beings. Crop circles have been called one of the most science oriented art movements ever. A physicist from the University of Oregon, Richard Taylor, published a paper on crop circles in 2011. He said that crop circle art would not be giving up their secrets so easily. He went on to say that unknown artist would be going out into the countryside to carry out craft, knowing that they are continuing a legacy of one of an art movement that is the most science oriented in history.

So it does look as though the scientific community is taking crop circles very seriously but why would a physicist come to the conclusion that the circles are man-made and they are not made by extra-terrestrials?

MAN-MADE OR EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL?

When really taking the time to look into crop circles, more so with some of the more complex designs, it is hard to believe that the making of them can be attributed to humans, walking around using boards and ropes to make them.

A crop circle of some 800 feet in diameter was found in England in 2011 and this was a design that was very complex along with being beautiful. This was a design made up of 409 circles forming a triskelion, which is a symbol that has dated back many thousands of years.

A documentary was made by William Gazecki, with the title of Crop Circles: Quest for Truth and he said that the circle was so big that it had taken them half an hour just to be able to reach the center.

INTRICACY OF CROP CIRCLES BAFFLE SCIENTISTS

The intricacy of the crop circle has continued to baffle researchers and scientists, and it was studied by Richard Taylor who said that once again it was among the greatest art revolutions in history. He had studied the grass in the crop circle and came to the conclusion that those who had made it and created the design must have used lasers, GPS devices, and microwaves, because the nodes of some stalks had been blasted on one side. He went on to say that the same effect was copied by localized microwave heating and that this had caused the stocks to flop to one side. With this in mind, he came up with an explanation that was scientifically feasible for the crop circle phenomenon. However, he was not able to say just how the hoaxers would have come by technology that was so advanced.

IF MAN-MADE SOPHISTICATED TECHNOLOGY WOULD BE USED

Richard Dolan said that if it was something such as this that was being used to make the crop circles, then there had to be an agency that was highly sophisticated behind the circles. He went on to say that over the region where a crop circle appears, there is usually an electromagnetic field or electromagnetic energy that is rare, known by the name of ionized plasma vortex, which has been called ball lightning.

The facts were verified, and studies that have been published in the scientific journals continue to come up with explanations that are not extra-terrestrial. Dr, Terence Meadon, a meteorologist, physicist and archaeologist at the University of Oxford said that the balls of light are due to ionized plasmas and wind currents. However, no one knows whether the crop circles are a man-made phenomenon or extra-terrestrial, but one thing that we do know is that they grab the attention of everyone and it is a phenomenon that is worthy of attention.

Retired USAF Employee spots UFO over Boysen Reservoir outside Shoshone Wyoming

A strange craft has been accidentally photographed just at the moment the unknown craft flew over a lake outside Shoshone Wyoming.

The photographer, a retired USAF employee said: On July 1, 2017 I was on my way home from Las Vegas when I had to use the restroom at Boysen Reservoir outside Shoshone Wyoming.

After returning to my vehicle I realized that I had locked my keys in the truck. I called my wife to bring me the extra set of keys. I was less than 90 miles from my house. It would take her around 90 minutes to get to me.

I snapped a couple of photos of the lake and sent them to my son. It was around 3pm. My wife arrived and was home around 7pm. I downloaded the pictures from my phone into the computer about 15 days later.

When I looked at them on the screen something caught my attention on the right side of the picture a little over halfway up.

I enlarged it and was not sure what I was looking at. I asked my wife to come look at it at normal size. She said "I see a lake and a UFO".

We both studied it and cannot explain what we were looking at. I am retired USAF and after 20 years of service I can't remember seeing anything that looked like it.

Verified Genuine Video Shows A Real Flying Saucer Taking Off

A video showing a flying saucer taking off from the ground is said to be a verified genuine one. It was reportedly a former top-secret US military video recorded during the Cold War. The design of the craft is undoubtedly similar to the famous saucer-shaped UFOs reported all over the world.

The video shows the UFO-style craft hovering above the ground. The aircraft was allegedly built during a top-secret US military project known the Avrocar.

The scientists who were responsible for making the UFO a reality believed it would be the next great military flying machine at that time.

A large central fan powered the flying disc, which believed to be a great alternative to a helicopter.

The newly released video shows what appear to be test flights of the secret craft at an unnamed base. The makers of the aircraft had hoped it would reach speeds of around 300 mph at a maximum altitude of 10,000 feet and a range of 995 miles.

In the 1940s and 1950s, a lot of people reported seeing flying saucers across the US, and many have believed that the testing of such experimental aircraft was the reason.

The US allocated millions of dollar for the Avrocar project, but the finances for the flying saucer eventually diminished in June 1961, and the doomed project was eventually ditched.

Makers of the Avrocar found that it could only hover around a foot off the ground, highly volatile when travelling at high speeds and too loud to be a combat vehicle, the reasons the doomed project was ditched.

Potential ingredient for alien life found on Titan

Vinyl cyanide on the Saturnian moon could form millions of cell-like balls in methane oceans.

TOUGH INGREDIENTS Saturn’s moon Titan is frigid and lacks water, but it appears to hold one building block for a proposed alternative form of life.

A molecule that could help build otherworldly life is present on Saturn’s moon Titan, researchers have discovered.

Vinyl cyanide, a compound predicted to form membranelike structures, is created in Titan’s upper atmosphere, scientists report July 28 in Science Advances. There’s enough vinyl cyanide (C₂H₃CN) in the moon’s liquid methane seas to make about 10 million cell-like balls per cubic centimeter of ocean, researchers calculate. On Earth, about a million bacteria are found in a cubic centimeter of ocean water near shore.

“It’s very positive news for putative-Titan-life studies,” says Jonathan Lunine, a planetary scientist at Cornell University who was not involved in the new study.

Titan has no water, usually considered a prerequisite for life. Instead of water, freezing-cold Titan has liquid methane. There’s even a methane cycle that mimics Earth’s water cycle (SN: 3/21/15, p. 32). But Titan is so cold — usually about –178° Celsius — that the smallest unit of life on Earth, the cell, would shatter in the moon’s subzero seas.

Ball of life?

A chemical found on Titan may be able to form bubbles called azotosomes. Scientists think azotosomes might serve as cell membranes, a cell’s outer skin, for alien organisms.

In 2015, Lunine and Cornell colleagues James Stevenson and Paulette Clancy proposed a way life might exist in methane. Computer simulations predicted that vinyl cyanide (also called acrylonitrile or propenenitrile) could make flexible bubbles called azotosomes that would be stable in liquid methane (SN: 4/30/16, p. 28). Those bubbles might act much as cell membranes do on Earth, sheltering genetic material and concentrating biochemical reactions needed for life.

When the Cornell researchers suggested the presence of azotosomes on Titan, carbon, hydrogen and nitrogen had already been detected in abundance in the moon’s atmosphere. But no one knew whether those atoms joined to make vinyl cyanide there. The Saturn probe Cassini had detected a molecule of the right mass to be vinyl cyanide, but couldn’t definitively identify the molecule’s chemical makeup.

But evidence for the chemical compound was buried in archived data from a large radio telescope, Maureen Palmer of Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and colleagues discovered. Palmer, an astrochemistry and astrobiology researcher, combed data collected by the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array, or ALMA, in Chile between February 22 and May 27, 2014.

Astronomers point ALMA at Titan to calibrate the telescope because the moon has known brightness levels, says Palmer, who also works at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. The team used that calibration data to detect the signature of vinyl cyanide at specific wavelengths of light and calculate its abundance.

“This is a pretty secure detection,” says Ralph Lorenz, a planetary scientist at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab in Laurel, Md. 

Even with confirmation of vinyl cyanide, researchers can’t say that azotosomes form on Titan. That’s probably not something telescopes can determine, Lunine says. A probe would need to sample Titan’s seas to detect the structures.

And even detecting azotosomes would not mean there’s life on Titan, says Lorenz. The moon’s extreme cold may hamper metabolism. What’s more, no one knows whether liquid methane can take the place of water for supporting life, he says. “If I were a betting man, I’d say Titan does not have life.”

Are Aliens Real? NASA Astronauts Share Their Experiences With Extraterrestrials

Saturn's moon Titan has long been a prime candidate when it comes to supporting life. Now, we may have more evidence.

Our quest for extraterrestrial life may be closer to bearing fruit. As per recent findings published in Science Advances Magazine, scientists now have a “definitive detection” of vinyl cyanide, described as “the best candidate molecule for the formation of cell membranes/vesicle structures.” And given that cells are the building blocks of life, it’s not too far of an extrapolation to say that the discovery of vinyl cyanide on Titan, one of Saturn‘s moons, could be the discovery of a potential ingredient for, well, life itself.

While scientists have long suspected that Titan might host vinyl cyanide, it was previously naught more than an inference. But now, NASA’s Cassini probe has achieved the “first spectroscopic detection” of the compound. Astronomers used data from the Atacama Large Millimeter Array, or ALMA, to draw their conclusions.

Titan has been a prime candidate for extraterrestrial life for quite some time. After all, the surface of the moon shows lakes, and Titan also features an atmosphere comprised mainly of nitrogen and compounds similar to those found on Earth that are crucial to life. The discovery of vinyl cyanide is yet another reason to continue researching Titan for its life-sustaining possibilities.

“This is a far cry from saying [life] definitely happens on Titan and these cells are involved in some kind of primitive life,” co-author Martin Cordiner, an astrochemist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, told The Verge. “But it gives us a starting point in that discussion. If there was going to be life in Titan’s oceans, then it’s plausible vinyl cyanide could be a component of that.”

There is still no absolute proof that cell membranes could ultimately exist on Titan. In order to make that determination, we’d need to send another probe to Saturn’s moon. “There’s been some discussion of maybe sending a boat or something like that to Titan to observe what’s really going on in the lakes,” co-author Maureen Palmer, an astrochemist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, told The Verge. “That’d be really cool to see.”

At the end of the day, concluded Cordiner, “As we explore more in the outer Solar System, these moons of the giant planets reveal to us that they are much more fascinating environments than we could have ever imagined. Complex chemistry is not unique to Earth.”

Why Looking for Aliens Is Good for Society (Even If There Aren't Any)

The search for life elsewhere in the universe is one of the most compelling aspects of modern science. Given its scientific importance, significant resources are devoted to this young science of astrobiology, ranging from rovers on Mars to telescopic observations of planets orbiting other stars.

The holy grail of all this activity would be the actual discovery of alien life, and such a discovery would likely have profound scientific and philosophical implications. But extraterrestrial life has not yet been discovered, and for all we know may not even exist. Fortunately, even if alien life is never discovered, all is not lost: simply searching for it will yield valuable benefits for society.

Why is this the case?

First, astrobiology is inherently multidisciplinary. To search for aliens requires a grasp of, at least, astronomy, biology, geology, and planetary science. Undergraduate courses in astrobiology need to cover elements of all these different disciplines, and postgraduate and postdoctoral astrobiology researchers likewise need to be familiar with most or all of them.

By forcing multiple scientific disciplines to interact, astrobiology is stimulating a partial reunification of the sciences. It is helping to move 21st-century science away from the extreme specialisation of today and back towards the more interdisciplinary outlook that prevailed in earlier times.

By producing broadminded scientists, familiar with multiple aspects of the natural world, the study of astrobiology therefore enriches the whole scientific enterprise. It is from this cross-fertilization of ideas that future discoveries may be expected, and such discoveries will comprise a permanent legacy of astrobiology, even if they do not include the discovery of alien life.

It is also important to recognise that astrobiology is an incredibly open-ended endeavour. Searching for life in the universe takes us from extreme environments on Earth, to the plains and sub-surface of Mars, the icy satellites of the giant planets, and on to the all-but-infinite variety of planets orbiting other stars. And this search will continue regardless of whether life is actually discovered in any of these environments or not. The range of entirely novel environments opened to investigation will be essentially limitless, and so has the potential to be a never-ending source of scientific and intellectual stimulation.

The cosmic perspective

Beyond the more narrowly intellectual benefits of astrobiology are a range of wider societal benefits. These arise from the kinds of perspectives – cosmic in scale – that the study of astrobiology naturally promotes.

It is simply not possible to consider searching for life on Mars, or on a planet orbiting a distant star, without moving away from the narrow Earth-centric perspectives that dominate the social and political lives of most people most of the time. Today, the Earth is faced with global challenges that can only be met by increased international cooperation. Yet around the world, nationalistic and religious ideologies are acting to fragment humanity. At such a time, the growth of a unifying cosmic perspective is potentially of enormous importance.

In the early years of the space age, the then US ambassador to the United Nations, Adlai Stevenson, said of the world: "We can never again be a squabbling band of nations before the awful majesty of outer space." Unfortunately, this perspective is yet to sink deeply into the popular consciousness. On the other hand, the wide public interest in the search for life elsewhere means that astrobiology can act as a powerful educational vehicle for the popularisation of this perspective.

Indeed, it is only by sending spacecraft out to explore the solar system, in large part for astrobiological purposes, that we can obtain images of our own planet that show it in its true cosmic setting.

In addition, astrobiology provides an important evolutionary perspective on human affairs. It demands a sense of deep, or big, history. Because of this, many undergraduate astrobiology courses begin with an overview of the history of the universe. This begins with the Big Bang and moves successively through the origin of the chemical elements, the evolution of stars, galaxies, and planetary systems, the origin of life, and evolutionary history from the first cells to complex animals such as ourselves. Deep history like this helps us locate human affairs in the vastness of time, and therefore complements the cosmic perspective provided by space exploration.

Political implications

There is a well-known aphorism, widely attributed to the Prussian naturalist Alexander von Humboldt, to the effect that "the most dangerous worldview is the worldview of those who have not viewed the world". Humboldt was presumably thinking about the mind-broadening potential of international travel. But familiarity with the cosmic and evolutionary perspectives provided by astrobiology, powerfully reinforced by actual views of the Earth from space, can surely also act to broaden minds in such a way as to make the world less fragmented and dangerous.

I think there is an important political implication inherent in this perspective: as an intelligent technological species, that now dominates the only known inhabited planet in the universe, humanity has a responsibility to develop international social and political institutions appropriate to managing the situation in which we find ourselves.

In concluding his monumental Outline of History in 1925, HG Wells famously observed: "Human history becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe." Such an observation appears especially germane to the geopolitical situation today, where apparently irrational decisions, often made by governments (and indeed by entire populations) seemingly ignorant of broader perspectives, may indeed lead our planet to catastrophe.

Heber Curtis, an astronomer, first saw a ray of light connected to the galaxy in 1918. In order to see it with his instruments at the time, it had to be huge. And it turns out, it was; measuring at almost 6000 light years long.

The Hubble Space Telescope monitored its development between 1995 and 1999 and, after four years of photos, they saw the plasma ripple outwards faster than what was being emitted from the black hole, meaning it must be moving faster than the speed of light. In 2013, after 13 years of images, it appeared to move in corkscrew-like spirals, making this strange occurrence even more mystifying.

UNDERSTANDING OUR UNIVERSE

M87 is, however, not unique in this way. Since the first observation, researchers have discovered similar phenomena in other galaxies. Although the causes behind it are still enigmatic, these observations could aid us in our search in understanding how black holes function in the creation or destruction of galaxies. Similarly, an enormous magnetic bridge spanning multiple galaxies has been recently discovered.

Eileen Meyer, Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, said about the plasma,“We can see, over a human lifetime, things moving […] Which is crazy.” The speed of this process is particularly remarkable because of how powerful it is.

BETZ MYSTERY SPHERE – AN ALIEN ARTIFACT FOUND BY A FAMILY?

THIS IS A STRANGE AND UNUSUAL STORY OF THE BETZ MYSTERY SPHERE THAT COULD DEFY THE LAWS OF GRAVITY…BUT NO ONE KNEW WHAT IT WAS OR WHERE IT HAD CAME FROM.

In 1974, the Betz family made as startling discovery that took the world media by storm. But no one knew what this mysterious metal ball was, which has become known as The Betz Mystery Sphere.

FINDING THE MYSTERY SPHERE

Fire ravaged 880 acres of a woodland property on Fort George Island, Florida that had a history going back to the 16th century, where a Spanish mission had once been located.

While Antoine Betz a Marine Engineer and his wife Gerri were examining the fire damage to their property, they came across a strange sphere on the ground.

At first they thought it may have been cannonball given the areas history – but they soon realized by the highly polished metal surface of the seamless orb…this was something different.

They then thought maybe the space aged looking object could have fallen from a NASA or Soviet satellite, flying above and somehow landed on their property.

Thy mysterious orb was about the size of a bowling ball and weight 22 lbs; but the unusual thing was that it had a strange elongated triangle, that was etched on the surface.

Seeing it as only a strange curiosity, the family decided to take it home with them and their son Terry, wanted to keep it in his room – but that did not last for too long.

UNUSUAL THINGS BEGAN TO HAPPEN WITH THE BETZ MYSTERY SPHERE

A couple weeks after the unusual find, Terry was playing his guitar and to his shock, the metallic orb started to react to the sound of the strumming. According to his testimony, the sphere resonated out a deep throbbing noise that seemed to greatly upset the family dog. Then it began to move to certain chords being played.

It didn’t take long before the Betz family discovered that the strange object had other strange characteristics.

When they pushed it across the floor, it would stop, vibrate then suddenly change direction and return back to the person who had pushed it.

They also saw it roll around the edge of the table finely balanced but it did not fall off onto the floor. On one occasion, they tilted the table at an angle, then saw that the sphere defy gravity and travel back up the leg of the table.

The family also claimed that it rolled for approximately 12 minutes continuously, while changing direction by itself but never once stopping. They considered all options and decided that it may have been fitted with a very sophisticated guidance system that allowed it to do this.

From what they had observed, the strange orb seemed to be powered by solar energy (even though solar energy was first discovered by Alexandre Edmond Becquerel in 1839, it was not in commonly used in 1974). They noticed that when the sun was shining brightly –  the orb was more active.

Terry who had a curious nature, decided that he would do some tests of his own to try and work out what this strange object was.

First he gently hit the sphere with a hammer, which resulted in it ringing like a bell. Then he shook it vigorously and the orb suddenly rolled around the room as if trying to escape from him.

It is rumored that at night the Betz family would keep it in a sealed box – so that it would not escape.

Occasionally the orb would emit a rattling or low frequency vibration, as if there was some sort of mechanism running inside.

The Betz family were stunned at the sphere’s capabilities and started showing it to family and friends – they were equally shocked and it rapidly became an object of fascination.

SCIENTIFIC STUDY INTO THE BETZ MYSTERY SPHERE

Word soon got around about the Betz Mystery Sphere and quickly it started a media frenzy – everyone wanted to know about this strange ball.

Both officials from NASA, The Military Corp and Arial Phenomena Research Organization (APRO) were sent out to see the sphere. They examined the steel object and could determine that there was no indication that it was manufactured or tampered with.

The military personnel would arrive skeptical onlookers, but by the time they left, were full of questions.

Despite requests from officials to take the ball to a lab for testing, the Betz family refused…but soon they had no choice.

THE BETZ MYSTERY SPHERE IS STUDIED

Soon the sphere started to exhibit strange and almost poltergeist behavior.

Doors would suddenly slam shut of their own accord and at night the house would fill with loud organ music – despite the fact that the Betz family did not own an organ.

This quickly became too much for the Betz family, so they agreed to allow the orb to be tested under scientific conditions – they wanted to know what this was?

The orb was taken to Jacksonville Naval Air Station in Florida, where the sphere was given to both scientists and metallurgists to examine.

They tried to x-ray the sphere to see what was inside, however x-ray machine was not strong enough to penetrate the metal, which they found baffling.

They determined that sphere was 7.96 inches wide (20 cm) and 21.43 pounds (9.67 kilograms), which could withstand 120,000 of pressure per square inch. It was made of magnetic stainless steel of the excellent quality, designed to withstand the highest heat temperatures and was corrosive resistant.

FURTHER STUDIES INTO THE BETZ MYSTERY SPHERE

The navy eventually used a 300 KV x-ray and discovered 2 objects inside the sphere – surrounded by a halo of material with unusual density. They also discovered that the spheres displayed 4 magnetic poles, 2 positive and 2 negative which did not have the same center.

It also showed signs of being radioactive but it was not explosive and one scientist (Dr Carl Wilson) was noted as saying that it“defies the law know to physics”. Another scientist (Dr J A Harder) is reported to have said that the elements inside were heavier than anything known to science.

THE MYSTERY CONTINUES

There have been people who have tried to debunk the Betz Mystery Sphere with many explanations ranging from: it was a lost steel ball that was meant to be used for an art project – to a sea bottom marker that somehow got into their burnt out field.

Since that time, other orbs have been found on earth  since 1974 that include from Australia, Russia, Iraq and America …but no one knows what they are or where they come from.

Now over time no one talks anymore about The Betz Mystery Sphere – but where is it now? No one seems to know….and it has somehow disappeared from many people’s mind.

Six Of The Most Widely-Believed Alien Conspiracy Theories

Disappointed by Skyline? Tantalized by Castle’s X-Files-y episode this week? Want an alien conspiracy with some meat on its bones (or exoskeleton, as the case may be)? Here are six of the greatest real-life alien conspiracy theories.

Actually, “real-life” is kind of a dubious term when talking about this kind of thing. The world of alien conspiracies is an improbably complex and interwoven one. It’s filled with weird personalities, unexplainable events, half-remembered government secrets, and countless races of alien visitors, all with their own agendas.

1. Roswell

So let’s start with arguably the grand-daddy of UFO conspiracy events: the supposed Roswell UFO incident. In 1947, the Roswell Air Force Base issued a press release saying that they’d found a mysterious metallic disc on a nearby ranch. The press was, of course, intrigued, but the base quickly changed their wording slightly: they’d found what appeared to be the remnants of a weather balloon.

The change was not quick enough, of course: the local papers ran giant headlines saying that the air force had recovered a crashed alien spaceship. And in the years since, that story has stuck, as accounts surfaced from employees at the base that include multiple crash sites, massive cover-ups, and even a reported alien autopsy (a film released in 1995 purported to depict the actual autopsy, but it its creator admitted that “most” of the footage was fake, thereby sort of discrediting all of the footage).

Die-hards still stand by these scant accounts of fishy dealings at Roswell. The supposed cover-up has permeated public perception of the base, leading to a Star Trek plot, a Futurama episode, and even an entire TV series, among many others. It also launched a veritable squadron of alien conspiracies. Some still believe that the spaceship remnants and alien bodies have been squirreled away in some sort of secret military enclave.

2. Area 51

And Area 51 might just be that military enclave. The actual base has long been a very closely-guarded secret, including wide “trespassers will be shot” stretches around the base itself and a large no-fly zone surrounding it.

According to conspiracy theorists, what we can see of Area 51 is just the tip of the paranoid iceberg. The base allegedly features elaborate underground labs, hidden tunnels, a dedicated extra-terrestrial runway that can disappear and reappear, and research programs dedicated to reverse-engineering alien technology.

In one particularly colorful and alluring detail, two different alleged former Area 51 employees reported working side-by-side with an alien being named “J-Rod” on cloning alien viruses and on a telepathic translator device (it’s funnier if you imagine J-Rod as Jar-Jar; I’d watch that movie).

And the mystery of Area 51 is still only one example of the vast network of supposed government cover-up of alien contact.

3. Project Blue Book and the Majestic 12

The government has been relatively transparent with Project Blue Book. It was an endeavor for the US government to catalog and examine every instance of supposed alien contact, visitation, and spacecraft reported to them. The project spanned years (and many incarnations), and its official result was that there existed no substantial evidence that these incidents were the result of alien visitation.

But that didn’t stop conspiracy theorists. In addition to challenging the rigor of the study, some “experts” on the subject stand by the claim that Blue Book became a distraction and cover-up from the reality of alien visitation, which included a top secret international squad called Majestic 12 to perpetrate the elaborate smoke-screen. Among the alleged weaponry of this massive cover-up are disinformation campaigns, character assassination, and elaborate webs of government lies.

Another weapon in the cover-up arsenal is the network of supposed Men in Black responsible for doing the actual dirty work. You’ve seen them in Will Smith movies and on the X-Files, but die-hard alien conspiracy theorists claim they’re everywhere, as CIA agents, or as shape-shifting aliens, or even inter-dimensional beings. Some even report encounters with these men in black (like the account in the video above), and some say they have the smashed cameras and bruises to prove it.

But WHY would the government try to cover up alien invasions? Just what are they hiding?

4. The Reptilians

The cover-up might just be so that world leaders can hide their true reptilian nature. Conspiracy theorist (and very creative thinker) David Icke is the man primarily responsible for the paranoia about secret shape-shifting reptile-like aliens invading Slitheen-style and replacing high-ranking political leaders. There are countless videos and images all over the internet purporting to depict these reptilians slipping and revealing their true selves.

One of my favorite details about Icke’s worldview is that of the Red Dresses. These are personality-less software constructs of the reptilian invaders installed at high rank to facilitate the aliens’ plans. This particular theory is what leads to stunning images like the one above, which reveals a few of the “red dresses” in their true form.

Another proponent of this reptilian-invasion worldview recently gained a bit of notoriety when discussing her own version of the conspiracy. Her name is Colleen Thomas, and she wants to warn us all of the impending shadow-government dirty bombing and a Draconian-Reptilian invasion.

These reptilian usurpers and shape-shifters are supposed to have been around for millennia, manipulating all of human history for their own gain. But Icke and his reptilian cronies aren’t the first to propose alien invasions in ancient history.

5. Ancient Astronauts

As long as we’re talking about extraterrestrials secretly influencing human history, we have to talk about the “ancient astronauts.” Erich von Däniken, in his landmark (in certain circles) book, Chariots of the Gods?, posits that Earth has been the frequent recipient of alien visitors. These visitors have brought with them advanced technologies, some of which helped build the pyramids, the Moai statues on Easter Island, Stonehenge, and more.

Many religions have developed as a response to this particular conspiracy, and we’ve covered some of the most absurd ones before. Hidden histories like this tend to have religious implications. But, as the next item demonstrates, they sometimes have unexpected political implications.

6. Esoteric Hitlerism

As with any internet discussion, it all eventually turns to a discussion of Nazism. And alien conspiracy theories are no exception, with my favorite of the weird extraterrestrial conspiracies, Esoteric Hitlerism.

Spearheaded by Miguel Serrano, Esoteric Hitlerists believe that the Aryan race is descended from an alien species of the highest order. Finding evidence in the story of the Nephilim in the bible, Serrano believes that an ancient alien civilization came to Earth to enlighten man. They bred with ancient earthlings, and the Aryan race are the only race alive that maintains any of the purity in their blood of these lofty ancestors. Serrano taught that the alien gods were hiding, with Adolf Hitler, in an icy underground fortress, from which they will one day emerge with fleets of spacecraft to usher in the Fourth Reich.

Yikes.

So if you are disappointed by a fictional portrayal of the secret alien interactions with humanity, you can always fall back on the real things that people believe. Sometimes, especially in the case of Esoteric Hitlerism, not only is the truth stranger than fiction – some people’s version of the truth is just too strange for fiction.

5 Mysterious Ancient Underground Worlds

Expeditions exploring deep, mysterious tunnels and caves in various parts of the world return with strange tales of subterranean civilizations, cities and advanced yet ancient technology.
Many of these remarkable underground worlds remain shrouded in mystery because we have not been able to locate them yet. There are also fascinating very old underground tunnels, caves and cities that have been discovered, but the history behind them remains unsolved because we have no idea who built them and for what purposes.

1. UNDERGROUND TUNNEL SYSTEM BENEATH THE PYRAMIDS OF GIZA

There is a lost history completely ignored by mainstream scholars when it comes to the Ancient Egyptian Civilization and the enigmatic Pyramids which according to many predates the Egyptian Civilization itself.

West of the middle pyramid on the Giza Plateau, the ground rises to its highest point where there are some of the surviving buildings of The Harvard camp, established by George Reisner in 1902 to pursue the aims of the Hearst Expedition of the University of California. The high ground suddenly drops away beyond the buildings leaving eroded cliffs facing north which have many tomb entrances dotted along its length.

The Labyrinth of Egypt has been described by a number of ancient writers such as Herodotus, Strabo, Diodorus, and Pliny. The labyrinth’s age and ancient origins are unclear, but at the time of Herodotus’ visit it was more than 1,300 years old.

2. Tunnels in Bucegi Mountains

In the summer of 2003, in an unexplored area of the Bucegi mountains, an epochal discovery was found that would completely change the destiny of mankind.

There are 4 primary tunnels and further sub-tunnels that lead to deep underground places which you would have heard of.

In these tunnels you will find rooms, huge rooms, with huge tables and stone chairs for people much, much taller than us.

The projection room contains all our history and can be replayed visually.

A table where you can perform holographic experiments with DNA, mix and match anything you wish and see what the results would be.

These rooms were created at least 50,000 years ago and each is connected to each other, protected by an energy source which actives all as one is activated.

3. Underground City Beneath Death Valley

The very thought that there could be a secret city lying beneath California’s Death Valley that is more than 5,000 years old is astonishing and difficult for many people to believe. But for those who have entered the subterranean tunnels underneath the ground and visited this amazing location, it is all very real. There are many who believe that the underground city was once inhabited by an unknown race, now thousands of years later, the area is abandoned, however, visitors say that they have witnessed some strange artifacts while exploring inside.

The ancient city known as Shin-Au-Av could have been home to many different races, but it is important to look at the legends of the Paiute Indians before you start to imagine various creatures of the unknown lurking underground.

4. Lost Cave City in the Grand Canyon?

Did an ancient civilization live in caves below the Grand Canyon? This is as vague a statement as wondering why some of the ancient Mesoamerican people depicted their gods as white men or the Olmec gods looked African. Stretching the imagination … perhaps whatever was found in the Grand Canyon caves discussed below, is linked to Ancient Alien Theory. It is interesting to speculate on ancient Egyptians or Tibetans flying to the Grand Canyon in Vimanas, but, to date, there is no tangible proof to support these claims.

5. Highly Sophisticated Underground City Of Derinkuyu

The underground city of Derinkuyu is an ancient city located beneath the surface of the Derinkuyu district in the Nevşehir Province, Turkey. It is one of the most amazing underground cities to have been discovered, and no one knows its exact age, making this already awesome underground city even cooler.

In 1963, approximately 50 miles (30 km) south of Nevsehir, Cappadocia, Turkey, Omer Demir stumbled across a deep hole (in Turkish: derinkuyu) that led to a steep path leading deeper down to passages, niches and shafts dug into the bedrock.

After intensive excavation, it became clear that Derinkuyu was an entire city complex built in that hole beneath the surface.

If your doctors can’t figure out what’s wrong with you, don’t blame them … blame the universe. A new study found that half of your body, not to mention half of everything around you, comes from a galaxy other than the Milky Way. No wonder we have so many half-assed half-wits pushing half-baked theories full of half-truths and half-cocked schemes. Blame it on the halves from Andromeda.

Actually, the theory is not as half-baked as it sounds. Daniel Anglés-Alcázar, the leader of the study published this week in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, points to galactic winds as the culprit.

“It is likely that much of the Milky Way’s matter was in other galaxies before it was kicked out by a powerful wind, traveled across intergalactic space and eventually found its new home in the Milky Way.”

A long time ago from a galaxy far, far away …

His team at the Northwestern University astrophysics center, CIERA (Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics), developed a supercomputer model to simulate various scenarios of how galaxies were formed in order to study wind recycling. Let your imagination run wild on that phrase for a minute. Finished? Wind recycling occurs when galactic winds are formed by supernovae and push gas particles around at high speeds. Some of this wind leaves the supernova’s galaxy, but a small amount gets sucked back in and used again – wind recycling. Did your imaginary picture of it involve deep breathing and a crowded galactic elevator?

As is the case in so many simulations, what the scientists found had nothing to do with what they were looking for. The models showed that the wind frequently escapes from its own galaxy and travls billions of light years across space to be absorbed in other galaxies and form new stars. . For some reason, this flow occurs most often from small galaxies to larger ones. Anglés-Alcázar got to name this phenomenon “intergalactic transfer.”

“It was actually surprising for us to find out that there is that much exchange of mass between galaxies.”

Which one are you from?

How much is ‘that much’? The simulations showed that a galaxy like the Milky Way (do we really care that much about the other ones?) got half of its matter from other galaxies. The disbelieving researchers checked their figures by converting the simulations to 3-D and the intergalactic transfer produced the same results … in 3-D.

For those who want to be space travelers but don’t think it will happen in their lifetime, Anglés-Alcázar has good news for you.

“Given how much of the matter out of which we formed may have come from other galaxies, we could consider ourselves space travelers or extragalactic immigrants.”

If we’re all extragalactic immigrants on this planet, isn’t it time we stopped pointing fingers and started getting along?
