SpaceX, Shift4’s Inspiration4 mission reveals its final two crew members

The crew for SpaceX and Shift4’s all-civilian Inspiration4 mission is now complete. The final two members of the groundbreaking mission were announced on Tuesday at the Kennedy Space Center in Floria, where the Falcon 9 rocket carrying Inspiration4’s Crew Dragon capsule will be launching later this year. 

Joining 38-year-old Shift4Payments CEO Jared Isaacman and 29-year-old physician assistant Hayley Arceneaux will be 41-year-old Chris Sembroski, an Air Force veteran and educator working for Lockheed Martin, and 51-year-old Dr. Sian Proctor, an entrepreneur, educator, and trained pilot who has a passion for space. 

As per Inspiration4’s website, Sembroski will represent the virtue of Generosity, and Dr. Proctor will represent Prosperity. Isaacman represents the virtue of Leadership, while Arceneaux represents the virtue of Hope. 

In an interview with TODAY‘s Tom Costello, Dr. Proctor remarked that being selected for the Inspiration4 mission felt like “opening up the chocolate bar and seeing the golden ticket to Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory.” She remarked that she had no worries about the mission at all, and that her reservations were actually more rooted in the prospect of the opportunity to go to space slipping by. 

“I was more worried that this opportunity had slipped me by and I would never get the chance to go to space, but now here I am and that just shows you never give up because that moment for me is here… I’m ready. Just strap me in, let’s go!” she said. 

As for Sembroski, launching from the Kennedy Space Center would be a rather symbolic experience. Twenty years ago, Sembroski showcased his passion for education and supporting passions by serving as a Space Camp counselor, an experience that he highlighted during his interview with TODAY. 

“I’ve taken that experience with me to really drive the passion for getting kids to seek their passion in science and technology and really spark the interest in those fields by using space as that medium, and then ever since it’s stuck with me,” he said. 

Isaacson, for his part, remarked that he is extremely excited for the Inspiration4 launch. “This is a very real moment, but I can’t help but be overwhelmed just thinking about all of the history that came before us here. That’s what’s going through my mind, like the astronauts climbing into the Apollo missions and Skylab and the space shuttle. It’s just so incredible to be here,” he said. 

The Inspiration4 crew would now be undergoing intensive training for their upcoming mission, which is expected to launch sometime this fall. Previously, Isaacson has noted that Inspiration4 could launch around October, but in his recent interview with the US media outlet, he noted that the mission could launch before the end of September instead. Such a timetable would give the crew just about six months to get fully trained and ready for a multi-day trip to space about 335 miles above Earth.

St. Helens, Merseyside Woman Snaps a Possible Alien Creature

Mellisa Braham, a St. Helens resident, reported seeing a tiny humanoid-shaped figure on February 26 Friday. It was her birthday recently, and as a gift, she received a new smartphone. Seeing it was a lovely afternoon on Friday, she decided to take her dog for a walk with her new phone to test out the camera.

She took several video clips and photographs at different resolutions. Later on in the evening, she uploaded the pictures to her PC to look at them.

When looking through the still photos, she noticed one of them showing what looks like a small humanoid-shaped figure walking from right to left.

Initially, she could not tell if the object was a tiny living and breathing being of some kind, but after she enlarged the photo, she saw what resembled a bipedal being with a head, eye, body, arms, legs, hands, and feet.

She said the object in the picture reflects sunlight and also casts a shadow on the ground and doesn’t look like a bird, rat, squirrel, or any other kind of animal.

Mellisa doesn’t rule out that the object could be something of nothing, something mundane captured at a weird angle or just a trick of the light, making it look extraordinary. She sent the photo to several experts and researchers to analyse and know what they make of it.

The picture was snapped at full resolution, 12 MP, camera set to fully automatic, and no zoom used. It was taken when the weather was dry, mild, and sunny at 16:05 between the Victoria park entrance and the now-demolished healthcare centre on Cowley Hill Lane, St. Helens, Merseyside, UK.

According to Churchward, the lost Pacific continent of Mu "extended from somewhere north of Hawaii to the south as far as the Fijis and Easter Island." 

He claimed Mu was the site of the Garden of Eden and the home of 64,000,000 inhabitants known as the Naacals.

Mars' dark streaks are probably caused by dry landslides

Mars' bizarre dark streaks may not be so astrobiologically intriguing after all.

Those streaks, known as recurring slope lineae, were discovered in 2011 by scientists studying imagery captured by the powerful High Resolution Imaging Experiment (HiRISE) camera aboard NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO). 

As their name suggests, recurring slope lineae, or RSL for short, are found on Red Planet slopes. The marks creep down steep inclines, especially in Mars' southern hemisphere, during warm times of the year and fade away as the weather cools.

These characteristics led scientists to speculate that the dark marks could be caused by salty liquid water flowing or seeping through the red dirt, in spots that get warm enough for some of Mars' plentiful subsurface ice to melt. That exciting hypothesis got a boost in 2015, when data gathered by MRO's Compact Reconnaissance Imaging Spectrometer instrument, or CRISM, revealed the apparent signature of hydrated salts at some RSL locales. That's just what you'd expect to see after briny liquid had evaporated away.

But the liquid-water explanation has been losing favor over the last few years. For example, a 2018 study cast serious doubt on the CRISM find, suggesting that the supposed hydrated-salt fingerprint was actually an artifact of data processing. And researchers have been finding more and more evidence, from both experimental and modeling work, that dry landslides are etching the dark marks into warm Martian slopes. 

Another such study came out this past January. HiRISE imagery revealed a big increase in RSL activity in the wake of the global dust storm that killed NASA's Opportunity Mars rover in 2018, researchers report in the paper, which was published in Journal of Geophysical Research: Planets. 

The team, led by HiRISE principal investigator Alfred McEwen, counted 150 active RSL sites during the year of the dust storm, compared to an annual average of just 36 in the six previous years. (The years here are Mars years, each of which lasts about 687 Earth days.) 

"There are clear dust devil tracks in 73% of post‐storm images in the southern middle latitudes in the summer, where and when dust devils are most active," the researchers wrote in the study. 

"The tracks indicate dust lifting, by several mechanisms," they added. "We suggest that dust lifting processes on steep slopes may initiate and sustain RSL formed from flows of dust (perhaps clumped) and/or sand that is destabilized by dust movement."

McEwen discussed the recent study last Thursday (March 25) during a presentation at the 2021 Spring Meeting of the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine's Committee on Planetary Protection. (Planetary protection refers to efforts to avoid contaminating other worlds with microbes from Earth, and to prevent potential alien bugs from getting a foothold on our planet.)

He also gave an overview of the decade-long history of RSL research, which he said now points strongly toward dry explanations for the dark features.

"None of the wet hypotheses have survived, in my opinion," said McEwen, who's based at the University of Arizona's Lunar and Planetary Laboratory.

He also said he doesn't believe that RSL sites should be regarded as "special regions" — locales that might be capable of supporting Earth life and are therefore off-limits to exploration by all but the most rigorously sterilized spacecraft. 

If that view becomes the consensus, it will be easier for NASA and other space agencies to send rovers to RSL sites and study the mysterious features up close. But consensus has not yet been reached; the new study, while suggestive, doesn't slam the door on the wet-RSL hypothesis.

"These debates will continue," McEwen said.

 Meet VSS Imagine: Virgin Galactic unveils its first SpaceShip III spacecraft

Virgin Galactic now has a fleet.

The company today (March 30) unveiled its second piloted space plane, a shiny silver vehicle called VSS Imagine.

Like Virgin Galactic's other spacecraft, VSS Unity, VSS Imagine is designed to take people and scientific experiments to and from suborbital space. However, the newcomer is the first of the next-generation SpaceShip III line, which features upgrades that will "enable improved performance in terms of maintenance access and flight rate," company representatives wrote in a statement today.

The SpaceShip III design also features a change that, while dramatic, is merely skin-deep — a mirror-like livery that reflects the vehicle's surroundings, from the ground all the way up to space and back. 

"As a SpaceShip III class of vehicle, Imagine is not just beautiful to look at but represents Virgin Galactic's growing fleet of spaceships," Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group, said in a statement today. 

"All great achievements, creations and changes start with an idea," the billionaire entrepreneur added. "Our hope is for all those who travel to space to return with fresh perspectives and new ideas that will bring positive change to our planet."

VSS Unity is a SpaceShipTwo vehicle. SpaceShipOne, the design pioneer, won the $10 million Ansari X Prize in 2004 after making two crewed flights to suborbital space and back within a two-week span.

Unity and Imagine are two-pilot, six-passenger space planes designed to lift off beneath the wings of a carrier aircraft, which drops them at an altitude of about 50,000 feet (15,000 meters). At that point, each spacecraft's onboard rocket motor lights up, blasting it up to suborbital space.

Virgin Galactic passengers won't circle Earth like astronauts aboard the International Space Station do. But they will get to experience a few minutes of weightlessness and see the curve of Earth against the blackness of space. More than 600 people have booked a ride to date, at a price (most recently) of $250,000 per seat, company representatives have said.

Unity and Imagine are at Spaceport America in New Mexico, Virgin Galactic's commercial hub. Unity is in the final stages of its test campaign and is expected to launch on another suborbital test mission — its third spaceflight overall but first from Spaceport America — this May, company representatives said. 

It will be Unity's second crack at its third spaceflight. The previous attempt, in December 2020, was aborted after a faulty computer connection prevented Unity's onboard rocket motor from firing up as planned. Pilots C.J. Sturckow and Dave Mackay brought the vehicle down for a safe landing at Spaceport America shortly thereafter.

Imagine will begin ground tests soon and will take to the sky for unpowered "glide flights" this summer, if all goes according to plan, Virgin Galactic representatives said.

And Virgin Galactic will continue to build out its growing fleet. The company's manufacturing subsidiary, The Spaceship Company, continues assembling a third spacecraft at its headquarters in Mojave, California. (Unity's first two spaceflights lifted off from the nearby Mojave Air and Space Port.) We learned today that this third vehicle is a SpaceShip III, and that it will be called VSS Inspire.

"VSS Imagine and Inspire are stunning ships that will take our future astronauts on an incredible voyage to space, and their names reflect the aspirational nature of human spaceflight," Virgin Galactic CEO Michael Colglazier said in the same statement. "Congratulations to our dedicated team who worked so brilliantly to achieve this milestone."

There could be yet more space planes to come as well. Virgin Galactic's hangar at Spaceport America can fit five space planes and two carrier aircraft simultaneously, company representatives have said.

Virgin Galactic isn't the only major player in the suborbital space tourism business. Jeff Bezos' spaceflight company, Blue Origin, is developing a rocket-capsule combo called New Shepard, which already has more than a dozen uncrewed test flights under its belt.

Thanks to author J. R. R. Tolkien and filmmaker Peter Jackson, just about everyone knows what a Hobbit is and many people wish they could meet one. Of course, these are the imaginary humanoids about half the size of humans, not the real archaic humans Homo luzonensis and Homo floresiensi, the tiny hominids nicknamed ‘hobbits’ that lived on the islands of Luzon and Flores in southeast Asia until about 50,000 years ago – which means they could have met early humans. Based on the amount of Neanderthal and Denisovan DNA modern humans carry, it could also mean that these early humans could have had sex with the hobbits. Did they? A new study set out to find out, and in the process revealed more about the mysterious rumored ‘southern Denisovans’.

No, not this kind of hobbit

“There are no ‘first-hand’ genomes of the kind we have from Neanderthals and Denisovans, but there are ‘second-hand’ bits of DNA in the Denisovan genomes that seem to come from them having interbred with a super-archaic population. These can be recognised by their greater-than-average divergence within the genome and also, if there has been recent interbreeding, the strands of DNA will have been shuffled up less, and hence found in larger and more ‘pristine’ chunks.”

The new study, co-authored by anthropologist Chris Stringer from the Natural History Museum in London and published in Nature Ecology & Evolution, points out that there is no DNA from Homo luzonensis and Homo floresiensi but previous research of Neanderthals and Denisovans has helped researchers identify evidence of interbreeding between species. Because their existence overlapped with humans on the islands in southern Asia, Springer told Gizmodo he and the team believed they’d find that evidence.

“Conversely, we found no evidence that the ancestors of present-day Island Southeast Asia populations interbred with either of the two hominin species for which we do have fossil evidence in this region: H. floresiensis from Flores, Indonesia, and H. luzonensis from Luzon in the Philippines.”

In an article in The Conversation, study lead João Teixeira from the University of Adelaide gives the disappointing result of the research – no sex. However, this means that these two hobbits may actually be related to a different missing link – the mysterious ‘southern Denisovans’. They’re considered mysterious because no Denisovan fossils have been found on the islands despite a high concentration of their DNA in modern inhabitants. Even with the lure of sex, it’s a long, cold journey north from Island Southeast Asia to Siberia, where their namesake Denisova Cave is. Teixeira thinks this means their fossils might be on another island — Sulawesi, where stone tools have been found, and Australia are two possibilities.

Where’s the hobbit women?

“Alternatively, we may need to rethink our interpretation of the hominin fossils already discovered in Island Southeast Asia.”

“But perhaps Denisovans were much more diverse in size and shape than we realised, meaning we might conceivably have found them in Island Southeast Asia already but labelled them with a different name.”

In other words, H. floresiensis and H. luzonensis could be misidentified hobbit Denisovans. And most importantly, there could have been plenty of hobbit-human sex – we just haven’t found the fossils yet.

You may know Jerome Clark as a former editor of Fate magazine, or as the author of “Unnatural Phenomena: A Guide to the Bizarre Wonders of North America” and other books, or co-author (with Loren Coleman) of “Cryptozoology A to Z”, or from his many television appearances discussing the subject of UFOs. However, none of those things nor his other noteworthy accomplishments in the field of UFO research will get him as much exposure and notoriety as a few sections in his latest seven-volume collection, “The UFO Phenomenon,” which covers UFO reports from 543 BCE to present times. (Note: this series is an updated Kindle version of the “The UFO Encyclopedia: The Phenomenon From The Beginning” which was first published in 1998.) In particular, “UFOs in the Late 20th Century and the New Era 1991–2020 (The UFO Phenomenon Book 7)” has already made headlines for Clarke’s revelation that by his count a total of 212 people have been abducted by aliens since 2014 for the purpose of sex.

“Abductions can happen anywhere and may last anything from 20 minutes to five days. The usual duration is one to three hours. Most happen at night. A key procedure is inspection of the reproductive organs, often followed by extraction of sperm or eggs.”

That sounds pretty clinical, and in fact many stories of sexual encounters between humans and extraterrestrials emphasize that, even if the intercourse was consented to and the alien was sexually attractive, the experience was generally not pleasurable. That sexual attractiveness in some other cases is what apparently drew The Sun to Clark for an interview.

“Their usual dress is a coverall or one-piece jumpsuit, often skintight, perhaps even so snug that the beings appear (or are) nude.”

In the chapter titled “Khoury Case,” Clark describes the experiences of Peter Khoury, the head of Media at Australian news company NMRA, who claimed his 1992 abduction involved having two nude blonde aliens kneeling on his bed, one of whom engaged in foreplay before attempting to have sex – a failed attempt that allegedly left him with a few blonde hairs for evidence. According to the review, the hair was analyzed and found to be a hybrid of Asian and Gaelic advanced DNA.

Clark doesn’t ignore really close encounters of the female kind. The review tells the account of a woman from Indianapolis who told Clark aliens impregnated her while she was on a cruise ship (Earthly, not alien), returned a few month later for the fetus, and again to introduce her to her hybrid daughter.

In the sample of the Kindle book on Amazon, Clark tells of Antonio Villas Boas, who claimed he was abducted in 1958 by many small beings who “dragged him inside a landed UFO, drew blood samples and left him in a room where he had sexual relations with an almost-human female.” To show how times have changed, Clark shares that the “few ufologists who knew of this report kept it hidden in a plain brown envelope of secrecy” because of the damage inter-species sex would do to the field. However, stories of alien abductions picked up in the latter half of the 1960s and today this kind of sex is almost mandatory in TV and movie alien encounters.

Come for the UFOs … stay for the sex!

Just about everyone has heard of the Roswell, New Mexico “crashed UFO” affair of early July 1947. However, what about the fabricated crashed UFO stories designed  – in the early years of the Cold War – to try and make the Russians believe the West had its hands on extraterrestrial technology? Maybe, even highly advanced alien weaponry. There’s no doubt at all that many of the 1950s-1960s-era stories of crashed UFOs were nothing but creations of skillful figures in the Pentagon and the CIA. Today, I’ll share with you two such examples. One of the most controversial UFO events occurred (or didn’t) in Hart Canyon, Aztec, New Mexico in March 1948. In many respects, the case can be seen as Roswell’s “little brother.” An alien spacecraft was said to have crashed in the canyon, killing the diminutive creatures inside, who were whisked away by the military. See what I mean about the Roswell parallels? Writer Frank Scully was so enamored by the story he wrote his very own, full-length book on the subject in 1950 titled Behind the Flying Saucers. It became a smash-hit. Working along with Scully was a man named Silas Newton. He was a conman, millionaire, oil entrepreneur, and someone who had crossed paths with both the cops and the FBI on a few occasions, mainly because of his intricate plots to swindle just about anyone he could. Newton knew the UFO subject was taking off, so he thought of ways to earn money from it – which is why he got chummy with Scully.

By his own admittance, and a couple of years after the Aztec story surfaced in Frank Scully’s book, Newton was clandestinely visited by two representatives of “a highly secret U.S. Government entity,” as it was worded. Those same agents of the military told Newton, in no uncertain terms, they knew his Aztec story was nonsense. Amazingly, however, they wanted Newton to keep telling the tale to just about anyone and everyone who would listen. This caused CIA guy, Karl Pflock, to ponder on an amazing possibility: “Was this actually nothing to do with real saucers but instead some sort of psychological warfare operation [italics mine]?”  There’s no doubt that Pflock was right on target: Newton was used to help spread the word that, yes, UFOs had fallen to Earth and the U.S. military had the technology. But, it was all a big, successful ruse. There were no crashed UFOs and no alien technology – but, the plot worked and had the Russians deeply concerned. Now, let’s take a look at another case – and another hoax.

For years, stories have surfaced to the effect that in 1952 – the same year Silas Newton got that strange visit from the U.S. military – a UFO slammed to the ground on the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen. Particularly interesting is a National Security Agency document that tells the story of the fatal crash and the recovery of a craft from another planet. The NSA’s copy of this previously-classified document is very slightly different to copies of the same document that have been declassified by the U.S. Air Force, the Department of State, and the U.S. Army. Someone in the NSA – unfortunately, we don’t know who – identified the Spitsbergen story in the document as being a “plant.” As for who secretly seeded the story, and why, well, that’s another matter entirely. Maybe, U.S. intelligent agents planted the story to try and further have the Russians believe that the U.S. government was back-engineering extraterrestrial spacecraft, when it really wasn’t. On the other hand, the “planters” may have been the Soviets themselves, trying to achieve something almost identical, but aimed squarely at the White House, the CIA, and the Pentagon. Jack Brewer, who runs The UFO Trail blog, says of all this amazing chicanery concerning the Spitsbergen saucer saga of 1952: “It should be a forgone conclusion at this point that the UFO topic was exploited by the global intelligence community for a variety of purposes from one operation and era to the next. The consequences might indeed be significant and far-reaching.”

In October of last year, it was reported that asteroid Apophis (nicknamed the “God of Chaos”) was picking up speed and may end up crashing into Earth in the year 2068. This was quite concerning as the asteroid measures over 1,100 feet in width (335 meters) and would have caused a catastrophic impact equivalent of 880 million tons of TNT.

But now, according to new orbit analysis and calculations, NASA has stated that the asteroid will not hit Earth in 2068 and it won’t impact our planet for at least a hundred years. It will pass by us at a fairly close range in 2029 and 2036 but with no possibility of an impact. In fact, on April 13, 2029, Apophis will travel by us at a distance of less than 20,000 miles (32,000 kilometers). Those living in the Eastern Hemisphere will be able to observe the asteroid with the naked eye and astronomers will have an excellent opportunity of studying it in greater detail.

Astronomers confirmed these new calculations when Apophis recently flew by us. They used strong radar observations in order to determine its orbit around the sun and that’s how they were able to say with confidence that it won’t pose any type of threat to us for at least a century.

Davide Farnocchia, who is from NASA’s Center for Near-Earth Object Studies (CNEOS) which is managed by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in California, reiterated this by stating, “A 2068 impact is not in the realm of possibility anymore, and our calculations don’t show any impact risk for at least the next 100 years,” adding, “With the support of recent optical observations and additional radar observations, the uncertainty in Apophis’ orbit has collapsed from hundreds of kilometers to just a handful of kilometers when projected to 2029. This greatly improved knowledge of its position in 2029 provides more certainty of its future motion, so we can now remove Apophis from the risk list.”

As for the equipment they used to make these new calculations, astronomers used the 70-meter (230-foot) radio antenna at the Deep Space Network’s Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex in California to track the asteroid’s orbit. JPL scientist Marina Brozovic explained this further, “Although Apophis made a recent close approach with Earth, it was still nearly 10.6 million miles [17 million kilometers] away. Even so, we were able to acquire incredibly precise information about its distance to an accuracy of about 150 meters [490 feet].”

With the new calculations confirmed, astronomers are now hoping that their data will reveal the true shape of Apophis as it’s currently unclear what it actually looks like although previous radar observations have indicated that it has a “bilobed” or “peanut-like” shape.

Guys, the last time I saw this shape of UFO it was when the Chile Military released a recording of a similar shaped object that they tracked and recoded. I will place that video below. This object is moving and it's of a shape that is not a kite, drone, plane, helicopter, balloon or anything that could be mistaken for a UFO. This is absolutely a UFO, but why its allowing itself to be seen is anyones guess. People anticipating the release of the upcoming government report on unidentified aerial phenomena (or unidentified flying objects for old-schoolers) have even more reason to rejoice: former director of national intelligence John Ratcliffe said in an interview that the report would contain information on “difficult to explain” sightings.

In an interview this month with Fox News, Ratcliffe said:

“We are talking about objects that have been seen by Navy or Air Force pilots, or have been picked up by satellite imagery, that frankly engage in actions that are difficult to explain, movements that are hard to replicate, that we don’t have the technology for or are traveling at speeds that exceed the sound barrier without a sonic boom.”

The Pentagon report is set to be released on June 1. As conversations around UFO sightings swarm the internet, Inverse breaks down what to expect from the upcoming report and how to separate fact from fiction.

5. WHAT IS THIS UFO REPORT GOING TO SHOW?

In December 2020, the government enacted the Intelligence Authorization Act, which called for the release of an unclassified and all-sources report on unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP) — the official military term used for unidentified flying objects. The act was included in the mammoth appropriations bill that also included financial aid checks for people living with the economic fallout from Covid-19.

The report will include a thorough analysis of

1. Available data
2. Intelligence reporting on UAPs

It will be presented to the congressional intelligence and armed services committees on UAPs.

Sarah Scoles, science journalist and author of the book They Are Already Here on UFO culture, says that it remains unclear how much of the report will be made public.

“A large portion of it is supposed to be unclassified, but that doesn't mean necessarily that we will get to see it,” Scoles tells Inverse. “Its mandate is essentially to lay out what we know and don't know about unidentified aerial phenomena, specifically around military installations.”

The report may also lay the groundwork for figuring out what to do with the information that has been released and provide a way to systemize information that may be available in the future, according to Scoles.

4. WHEN IS THE UFO REPORT BEING RELEASED?

In accordance with the newly signed act, the government is required to release the report within 180 days, giving it a deadline of June 1. There’s a chance it could come sooner. It could also be delayed, reports the Washington Post:

When Trump approved the spending package on Dec. 27, a 180-day countdown began, giving intelligence officials until June to deliver lawmakers their write-up.

However, two factors might delay the report’s release: Agencies have missed similar congressional reporting deadlines in the past; and the provision is not technically binding, as the language was included in the Senate Intelligence Committee’s report on the bill, not the bill itself.

“In other words, it isn’t statute, but the agencies/departments generally treat report language as bill language,” said one senior Senate aide familiar with the legislation.

3. WHAT MEDIA IS GOING TO BE IN THE UFO REPORT?

On April 27, 2020, the Pentagon formally released three videos taken by US Navy pilots that show an "unidentified aerial phenomenon."

The footage shows a cluster of odd-looking aircraft flying with unidentified maneuvers, unlike anything the NAVY pilots had seen before as one of them can be heard in the video exclaiming,

"What the f--k is that?"

By releasing the videos, the Pentagon declassified the footage and made it officially available to the public, but didn’t publicly speculate on the nature of the strange craft seen in the video.

Ratcliffe says in the interview that there are a lot more sightings than have been made public, adding that “some of those have been declassified.”

“And when we talk about sightings, we are talking about objects that have been seen by NAVY or Air Force pilots, or have been picked up by satellite imagery that, frankly, engage in actions that are difficult to explain,” he adds.

2. WHY IS THE UFO REPORT SO DIFFICULT TO EXPLAIN?

When the Pentagon officially released the footage of the unidentified aircraft last year, the agency admitted that the videos aren’t exactly sure what is going on in the video, and that they cannot explain how the crafts are able to pull such maneuvers.

It remains unclear whether the government believes these to be sightings of foreign aircrafts using technologies unfamiliar to the United States, or whether they believe the craft are not of this world.7

Seth Shostak, senior astronomer at the SETI Institute, is skeptical about the content of the report.

“It’ll be ambiguous” Shostak tells Inverse. “The Navy, I'm sure, is not going to come out and say, ‘these are alien crafts,’ and if they do, I will dine on my hat.”

However, Shostak believes that the government’s main interest in the footage is whether it poses some sort of security threat.

“They just want to know whether these are Chinese aircraft or Russian aircraft or drones, something in aerospace that they don't know about,” Shostak says. “I think that's what motivates them.”

1. WILL THE UFO REPORT ADMIT THERE ARE ALIENS?

Here is when it gets tricky.

The report has not been released yet, and online alien enthusiasts are already rejoicing that this is the “big one” where proof of extraterrestrial life will finally be released to the public.

But that may still be difficult to prove, even if footage showing unidentified flying objects is released to the public.

The report will not likely pin down a source for these events, according to Scoles.

The language being used by former officials such as Ratcliffe in recent interviews implies “a non-US and non-foreign origin for what they're seeing and what you're left with is not us or them, it’s something outside of Earth,” Scoles says.

And while many scientists believe that life does exist beyond Earth, they are more than skeptical that this form of extraterrestrial life, assuming that it is intelligent, would drop by our home planet in these unexpected ways.

“I believe there are plenty of aliens out there,” Shostak says. “I just don't think that they're trying to tease our top guns.”

A few nights ago I was talking with a friend about the notorious Majestic 12 documents – and the matter of how they entered into the public domain. Whether you buy into the Majestic 12 issue or not (I don’t), the story behind the papers is a fascinating one. Exactly two weeks before Christmas Day 1984, a package appeared on the doorstep of the home of a man named Jaime Shandera. He was a friend and colleague of Bill Moore (co-author with Charles Berlitz of the 1980 book, The Roswell Incident), and someone who was heavily into UFOs, too. The envelope contained camera-film of a document that told the story of a secret group established by the U.S. government, following the Roswell crash of July 1947. It went by various permutations, the most popular in the UFO research arena being Majestic 12. The document showed the government had dead aliens hidden away. Extraterrestrial wreckage had been recovered by the U.S. military. Autopsies on the disturbingly-looking humanoids from far away – with their black eyes, large heads, and skinny bodies – were quickly undertaken. No-one knew what should be done. No-one knew how to keep the public and the press away from the incredible finding. Everything was top secret, as the documentation made very clear. If the documents were the real thing, of course.

Moore and Shandera – and, soon, Stan Friedman, too – quickly got together to scrutinize the material. Such was the perceived deep concern for what they had got a hold of, the trio decided the wisest approach was to say nothing – not a single thing – to anyone. The three continued to quietly research the documents – genuine or faked. Things altered quickly in 1987. That’s when something occurred that was totally out of the hands of the team. It was the last thing they needed. As the investigations into Majestic 12 continued on, rumors began to circulate that an English UFO writer, Timothy Good, had gotten copies of the same papers that Moore, Shandera and Friedman had kept so quiet since 1984. As for how Good got his versions, that’s still a mystery to this day. I should note there are vague claims, though, that Good’s supply came from someone with links to the CIA.

The handover of the papers to Good was said to have occurred in March 1987. Of more concern for the three men in a quandary, however, was not so much who gave Good the documents, but that he was about to have a new book published, Above Top Secret: The Worldwide UFO Cover-Up. Sidgwick & Jackson was the company; a highly respected publishing company with an ability to make Good’s book a big hit. The goal was achieved. The book became a bestseller in the U.K. And guess what? Sidgwick & Jackson just about managed to get the Majestic 12 documents in the pages of Above Top Secret before Good’s book went to print. Two months after Good’s CIA insider provided him the documents, the London Observer newspaper mentioned it. The date of the article was May 31, 1987. Written by Martin Bailey it had the lengthy title of “Close encounters of an alien kind – and now if you’ve read enough about the election, here’s news from another world.”

In no time, Moore, Shandera and Friedman chose to release their copies into the public domain, which is hardly surprising, given that word of the Majestic 12 papers was now starting to trickle and circulate outside of the confines of the trio. This was completely understandable: the three had done all of the groundwork, and the very last thing they wanted now was to be written out of the story – or, at the absolute least, left marginalized and sitting frustratingly on the sidelines. And who should have died in May 1987, just when the Majestic 12 documents were about to surface? The CIA’s James Jesus Angleton, a powerful character  said to have been plugged-in to the government’s UFO secrets. Lung-cancer was the cause. Angleton was sixty-nine. Strangely, also in May 1987 a woman named Alice Bradley Sheldon – an employee of the CIA who wrote sci-fi under the alias of James Tiptree – took her life. Her husband’s life, too. Sheldon is believed to have created a faked UFO document – to freak out the Russians – in the 1960s called the “Serpo” documents. It tells a story that mirrors certain portions of the 1977 movie, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Specifically, the final stages of the movie in which Richard Dreyfuss’ character of Roy Neary is taken away by aliens.

The story directly above shows that questionable UFO documents have been circulating around since the 1980s. Should we view them as hoaxes or of no particular value or importance? Or, are greater agendas at work? That’s a question I’ll answer in another article.

I saw 4 of them flying in a square formation towards Yuma, couldn’t pull my phone out fast enough for those though, and the movement on those were crazy. Maybe next time I’m down there I’ll catch them on camera.
In all my years here I’ve never seen them have full on lights beaming down. Maybe flashes of red and green here and there like a normal plane/jet but I’ve never seen 4 of them flying in a square, solid white light the whole time.
They all disappeared at the same time. Only thing that was letting me see them was the crazy amount of light they were emitting, so it just looked like someone just turned some lights off lol.
Yuma Proving Grounds does military testing but I’ve never seen shit like this in all 23 years of living here, I wish I could’ve recorded the 4 flying in a square formation but I couldn’t pull my phone out fast enough after I was done being in awe. I saw no smoke trails like in the video. I was literally trying to see where smoke would be if they were flares but I couldn’t see a single column of smoke. It was from my phone, Samsung S20. Wouldve been awesome if I had a Nikon lol. Right after the BP checkpoint leaving Yuma, they were by the mountains.

An underwater graveyard filled with the bones of extinct giant lemurs up to the size of a gorilla has been discovered in a cave in Madagascar.

Divers found hundreds of fossilised bones and skeletons of the primitive primates as they explored flooded inland caves on the west coast of Madagascar.

The perfectly preserved fossils, which have yet to be properly dated, are thought to be up to 4,000 years old. 

Scientists leading the study of the fossils believe there could be thousands of individuals buried in the soft silt at the bottom of the cave.

Among the fossils at the base of the caves was a foot long skull from a species of lemur that weighed as much as 165lbs (75kg) - the same as a female gorilla.

Palaeontologists say they have also found the remains of another lemur that grew to be as large as a gorilla and weighed hundreds of pounds when fully grown.

Among the fossils, the researchers have also discovered the bones from elephant birds, corned crocodiles, rodents and hippos that roamed the island landscape thousands of years ago.

However, most of the species found in the caves are now extinct and scientists are baffled as to how so many diverse species ended up in one place.

Professor Alfred Rosenberger, an evolutionary primatologist at Brooklyn College in New York, who has been leading the recovery of the fossils, said: 'Nothing like this has ever been found before. It is really an enormous number of fossils all in one place.

'They are very complete, which is unusual in palaeontology. Here everything is together in one place. The preservation is really incredible.'

Speaking to Mail Online he added: 'We know there are hundreds of specimens visible on the surface of the cave floor, and we estimate there are actually thousands. There are fossils in the sediment that will have to be extracted.'

He said it is still unclear how the animals ended up in the cave but they may have been carried there by a flood.

He said: 'That is a major question that only can be addressed with additional research. 

'The common sense hypothesis is that many were accumulated in flooding episodes of some kind. Cyclones are pretty common in Madagascar.

'But the questions is actually a complex one, and we will need data from a variety of sources to figure that out.'

A team of specialist cave divers found the fossils as they explored three large flooded inland caves in the Tsimanampesotse National Park called Malaza Mongo, Mitoho and Aven.

In the Aven Cave they discovered huge numbers of lemur fossils while there were also some found in the other caves.

Similar fossils had been found in the past in other nearby caves, but no where near in as many numbers. Those were estimated to be between 3,000 and 4,000 years old.

This, according to the researchers, suggests that the latest fossils are probably of a similar age.

Professor Rosenberger said that the bones showed hardly any sign of post-death damage like the kind that comes from being eaten by a predator.

Instead, he said it appeared that many of the lemurs had decomposed slowly and their bones have not been disturbed since.

It has raised intriguing questions about what led all these animals to die in one place.

One theory is that it was a sort of graveyard where the animals went to die, or the cave had once been an ecosystem that flooded, killing whatever was inside the cave.

In Mitoho cave, the researchers found evidence that it had once been the den of an extinct carnivore known as the giant fossa, Cyrptoprocta spelea.

MODERN LEMURS ARE ON THE VERGE OF EXTINCTION

They are some of the world’s most-loved animals, but almost 95 per cent of lemurs are threatened with extinction, according to the latest global assessment of at-risk species.

Madagascar is the only place on the planet where they are found in the wild, making them one of the most threatened groups of animals on Earth.

Of the African island nation’s 101 remaining lemur species, more than a fifth are critically endangered, including the largest living lemur, the large-bodied Indri.

Almost half of the species are endangered, including the world’s smallest primate, Madame Berthe’s mouse lemur and 20 are vulnerable to extinction.

Lemurs are threatened by destruction of tropical forest habitat, with illegal logging on the increase in the face of political uncertainty and rising poverty in Madagascar, where some people hunt them for food. 

This would explain some of the bones that had appeared there.

The researchers also found fossilised bats, rodents and other carnivores in the caves.

But according to Professor Rosenberger, it is the extent of the lemur fossils that makes the caves truly extraordinary.

They vary in size from those similar to the species found in Madagascar today - the only place in the world where lemurs survive - to the giant Megaladapis edwardsi, which weighed up to 165lbs.

But unlike their primate cousins, these giant lemur were thought to behave more like koala bears, clinging to trees.

Professor Rosenberger said they found a skull of one of these creatures in the Malaza Manga cave.

He said: 'One of the nicest things we discovered is a very beautiful skull sitting on the silty surface at the bottom of the cave of an animal called Megaladapis.

'It is a fascinating critter. It is kind of like a koala bear lemur.

'It had a large cow-like skull of about one foot in length, enormous molar teeth - perhaps twice as large as to be expected for body weight - designed to leafy shear food, and a stocky body with fairly short limbs. 

The largest lemur skull found in the caves belonged to a giant lemur called Megaladapis, which is weighed as much as a female gorilla but lived in the trees, clinging to branches much like Koalas do in Australia

'It had no upper incisor teeth, which is an adaptation we find in mammals that crop leaves with flappy big lips.'

The researchers hope that by understanding more about what led to the demise of these species it might help them predict what will happen to the existing ones in the future.

Professor Laurie Godfrey, a palaeontologist at the University of Massachusetts, said: 'When you have a place that two thirds of the animals that lived there only a thousand years ago are gone and replaced by other animals, then what we need to know is what are the implications for the rest of the flora and fauna.'

In een onderwatergrot in Madagaskar hebben duikers de botten van gigantische maki’s gevonden. Sommige van deze maki’s zouden zo groot zijn geweest als gorilla’s. Het is echter niet bekend hoe de botten in deze onderwatergrotten zijn aangekomen. Wetenschappers vermoeden dat ze door stromingen zijn gesleept of geduwd.

De oude wereld vóór mensen bevatte allerlei gigantische wezens. Gigantische maki’s zijn niet het eerste waar we aan denken, maar we hadden gigantische libellen, gigantische struisvogels en gigantische herten van meer dan 3 meter lang. Soms zijn grotten de bron van zoveel schande dat je liever niet binnenkomt. Dit lijkt het geval te zijn met deze set van ongelukkige grotten. Gelegen in de West Wycombe-kelders van Zuidoost-Engeland, zijn deze grotten de thuisbasis van enkele sculpturen die bijvoorbeeld rondspoken.

De betreffende beelden lijken op de duivel. Om deze reden hebben de grotten de bijnaam Hellfire Caves. Hoewel de grotten volledig kunstmatig zijn, maakt de aanwezigheid van deze beelden de grotten angstaanjagend. Als je van bijgeloof houdt, wil je misschien wegblijven van deze grot. Het is veel beter voor je geestelijke gezondheid!

Sommige grotten hebben onverwachte verrassingen! Zoals we hebben gezien, hebben anderen gigantische maki’s, maar voor deze grot houdt het gewoon niet op en is het dat ook echt. De grot in Ellison Cave is de thuisbasis van een van de langst bekende druipstenen. Deze afgrond werd gemeten op een adembenemende afdaling van 178 meter. Het is ongeveer de helft van de hoogte van het Empire State Building met 102 verdiepingen.

Om de enorme en duizelingwekkende afdaling te bereiken, moet je door 19312 meter donkere en gevaarlijke grotten gaan. Deze afdaling is zwart en zit vol met wendingen, bochten en kronkels waardoor je je hoofd draait. Als je echter mijlen van dreigende duisternis kruist, zal je de 178 meter druipsteen van deze grot tegenkomen. Deze put maakt Ellison’s Cave in het noordwesten van Georgia de 12e diepste in Noord-Amerika.

Een grot vol sterren

We hebben allemaal beelden gezien van fosforescerende bacteriën en anderen, die in hoekige visbollen leven, de getijden van sommige oceanen en andere interessante interessante dingen. Hier hebben we ze opgesteld langs de muren van de grotten. Deze glanzende bollen lijken op een mooie sterrennacht en zijn opgehangen aan het plafond om hun volgende maaltijd te vangen – vliegende insecten.

Deze grot van Waitomo, in Nieuw-Zeeland, staat vol met deze verzen. Het werd 30 miljoen jaar geleden gevormd en er zijn frequente kajaktochten. Als je de hangende bollen wilt zien, neem dan gewoon een vliegticket naar Nieuw-Zeeland en ga kajakken. Hoewel we ontdekkingen hebben die zo mooi zijn als fosforescerende bacteriën, hebben we ook een van de meest walgelijke ontdekkingen die nog komen …

Snottiet

Deze plakkerige en slijmerige substantie dankt zijn naam aan zijn textuur en consistentie: snottiet. Met een consistentie die vergelijkbaar is met die van slijm, wordt deze kleverige modder opgehangen in afwachting van vliegende insecten. Deze stof werd oorspronkelijk gevonden in een grot in Tabasco, Mexico. Dit is geen ingrediënt van de saus, maak je geen zorgen.

Blijkbaar is dit materiaal slechts een stapel bacteriematten die zo zijn aangebracht dat ze naar het plafond druppelen. Dit ding heeft de consistentie van slijm en het is verre van verleidelijk. De bacterie wordt als extremofiel beschouwd vanwege de extreem zware omgevingen waarin hij bloeit. Jij en ik kunnen bijvoorbeeld niet onder dezelfde omstandigheden floreren.

Vleermuizen

Iedereen weet dat vleermuizen in grotten leven en in Barangay Tambo, op Samal, in overvloed leven. Deze grot is de thuisbasis van het vleermuisreservaat van Monfort, een heiligdom met voldoende vleermuizen om Dracula te laten huiveren. Opmerkelijk diep, maar deze grot strekt zich slechts ongeveer 75 meter diep uit. Met wat er komt, zul je je realiseren dat dit echt niets is in vergelijking.

Vleermuizen zijn een van die wezens waarvan we heel goed weten dat ze zich hebben aangepast aan het leven in de grotten. Deze dieren hebben zich aangepast aan de duisternis van het leven in de grotten door een perfect gereguleerd echolocatiesysteem te ontwikkelen. Hiermee kunnen ze de details van hun omgeving detecteren met geluidsgolven. Ze weerkaatsen van de muren en pilaren van hun omgeving en gebruiken de vertragingen van gereflecteerde golven om afstanden en snelheden te bepalen.

De grotten van de dood

Olm Salamander

Sommige van de vreemde dingen die we in de grotten vinden, zijn vreemd mooi. De watersalamander is er een van. Hij is blind, maar gekleurd met pigmenten die hem geweldig maken. Wat meer hij broedt in water, zwemt in water en gebruikt elektrosensatie om zijn omgeving te begrijpen. Hij kan ook meer dan 100 jaar leven.

Het kleine wezen leeft in de grotten van Slovenië en Kroatië. Zijn huid is bleek en roze, een scherpe combinatie van bleekheid en chic. Het behoudt zijn oorspronkelijke kieuwen tot zijn dood, wat het uitzonderlijk vreemd maakt in amfibieën. Normaal gesproken verliezen we naarmate we ouder worden onze jonge leden, maar niet de olm!

Een giftige grot

In Roemenië vind je meer dan geesten, spoken en vampieren. In Constanta, bijvoorbeeld, een land in de buurt van de Zwarte Zee, vindt je giftige grotten. Deze grot bleef bijna 5,5 miljoen jaar intact. En gedurende deze miljoenen jaren heeft het leven zich aangepast aan zijn vreemde en verrassend onherbergzame omgeving.

In de meeste gevallen herbergt de grot dieren zoals schorpioenen, spinnen en duizendpoten, grove dingen die de meesten van ons zouden kunnen schreeuwen als we ze in het echt zouden zien. De echte naam van de grot: Movile Cave. In het donker vind je een meer dat ruikt naar rotte eieren en verbrande zwavel. Bij verstoring zal het waterstofsulfide, een giftig gas, uitstoten.

Om de rest van deze grot te verkennen, moeten wetenschappers een duik nemen in de donkere en giftige diepten van deze wateren. Wat het moeilijker maakt, is dat de atmosfeer in de grot een minder dan normale hoeveelheid zuurstof heeft, ongeveer de helft. Dit betekent dat zonder een ademhalingsapparaat dat extra zuurstof levert, je snel hoofdpijn krijgt, hypoxisch wordt en sterft.

Vanwege deze omstandigheden kan je slechts enkele uren in de grot verblijven. Onze lichamen zijn niet aangepast aan het leven in de vergiftigde diepten van Roemenië. Maar in tegenstelling tot ons hebben veel andere soorten hun plechtige stilte hervat. Wat echter opvalt, is dat hoe ongastvrijer de omgeving van de grot voor ons wordt, hoe meer variaties er in het leven zijn.

Omdat zonlicht de grot niet binnenkomt, moet het ecosysteem volledig van zijn stralen worden beroofd. Dit is het geval voor elk levend dier dat in het licht wordt opgesloten. De bacteriën in deze grot, bijvoorbeeld, krijgen hun koolstofdioxide precies zoals planten, alleen op andere plaatsen dan zonlicht. Dit is de enige plaats op aarde waar dit gebeurt.

En hoe, vragen jullie het, doen ze het? Ze breken de chemicaliën in de lucht af. Sommige bacteriën breken bijvoorbeeld zwavel op in zwaveldioxide. De toenemende aanwezigheid van dit zwavelzuur veroorzaakt zelfs een nog grotere erosie van de kalksteen van de grot, waardoor deze uitzet en groeit.

Schilderijen

De grotten zijn vol mysterie – en over het algemeen niet de verkeerde soort. Sommige grotten hebben bijvoorbeeld veel details over oude beschavingen onthuld. In deze grot in Argentinië hebben ze hun wonderbaarlijke vermogen om kunst te maken aangetoond. Wat we zien is hun uitdrukking door tientallen handafdrukken uitgedrukt in rood krijtpoeder.

Deze schilderijen blijken tussen 9.500 en 13.000 jaar oud te zijn. Hun prehistorische kwaliteit laat niet alleen zien dat mensen zich vóór de moderne dag graag artistiek uitten (godzijdank hadden we geen iPhone nodig), maar dat we het ook graag op interessante en mooie plekken doen.

Ok guys, this is directly from the live cam. This strange object just appeared out of nowhere and then vanished as fast as it appeared. Its clearly very huge, very long. Its not a meteor, the tail is all wrong and the speed is too slow not to mention its not falling! If it were a plane, it would not suddenly appear and disappear so fast. 

 

What I believe happened is that this UFO suddenly teleported out of the alien base below the volcano and materialized above the volcano and began moving...however the UFO opens up a doorway (wormhole) and enters it quickly vanishing. Awesome it was all caught on video.

They Flew: Ancient Mayan Space Vehicle Reverse Engineered

They didn’t any modifications in their replica, keeping the exact aerodynamic characteristics of the Inca objects that were proven actual replicas of 100% functional aircrafts, after the stunning successful test.

This is truly amazing!! Two German aeronautical engineers, Algund Eenboom and Peter Belting, dug the Inca artifacts back into scene, built a propeller-powered scaled replica of one of the artifacts and performed a flight test in 1997, during the Ancient Astronaut Society World Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Frontier scientist Richard Hoagland’s research team The Enterprise Mission pointed out another relatively new and interesting development in the proof for a lost technological society.

Among other points, Hoagland et al. discuss the recent findings of German scientists Dr. Algund Eeboom and Mr. Peter Belting. Several small gold trinkets have been recovered from tombs of the Incas, dating back thousands of years.

These trinkets clearly depict structures that undeniably appear to be workable flying airplanes, complete with what appear to be gun turrets on some of the wings.

Hoagland et al. also point out the far more well-known fact that working bird-shaped gliders have been found within tombs in Egypt. Since these gliders also possess remarkable similarity to working airplanes and are capable of long flights when thrown, we must assume that the ancient Egyptians were also well aware of this technology.

With the evidence now seen from the Incan tombs above, we may suppose that the bird gliders were simply children’s toy models of systems that were in much more common use at one time.

And so, if we are seeing workable airplane models being built as small gold statuettes and wooden models in two different ancient cultures separated by the Atlantic, we certainly can assume that a large-scale technological society with full-sized, working aircraft may have been in existence at one time as well.

It is frustrating that we have not found any full-sized models. However, after a hypothesized 12,500 years of time passing, we should expect that any such structures made of wood or metal would have long since deteriorated.

The Atlantean lore from the Edgar Cayce readings states that almost the entire concentration of that society was on an island in the Atlantic that included present-day Cuba and outlying areas as well, and which subsided under ocean waters, known as “Poseidia.”

And if the modern toys of our society were suddenly subjected to a vast cataclysm and promptly left unattended for 12,500 years, the savage action of tidal waves, land subsidence, rust, tornadoes, hurricanes, rising sea levels, glaciers, natural disasters and all other forms of growth and decay would most likely completely wipe out all remnants of things such as wooden houses, hollow buildings and skyscrapers of glass, and metallic automobiles, trains or airplanes.

So, therefore, despite their toy-like appearance, which may indeed have been the playthings of children at one time, these tiny gold statuettes could well have been considered very sacred objects – some of the sole remaining fragments of a culture of “Gods” destroyed in the seas of Time.

These precious models were held onto and possibly copied over and reduplicated for thousands of years by the survived “Atlantean” cultures of the Incas and Egyptians before being buried in their tombs.

They may well have been the direct symbols of a lost “time of the Gods” when humankind had conquered the skies and could fly around at will, with the gifts of advanced technology.

Many archeologists dismissed the find as merely being reproductions of “insects”. However, it was pointed out that insects do not possess a “vertical stabilizer”. The conclusion, according to Eeboom’s impressive statistics: the ancient craftsmen really meant for their miniature “airplanes” to look like … airplanes!

Peter Belting approached the problem from a “hands on” point of view: he actually built scaled-up (but otherwise precise) models of the ostensibly “miniature aircraft” — and then attached propellers and jet engines.

And they flew!

At the August, 1997 meeting of the ” Ancient Astronaut Society World Conference,” gathered in Orlando, Florida, the two researchers presented their independent findings on the “insects.”

Those assembled literally cheered when Belting’s model (powered by a small jet engine — left) flew a set of complex aerodynamic maneuvers … and then came in for a perfect landing — all with a model airplane built as an exact match to a tiny gold trinket found in an Incan grave … dated minimally to over a thousand years ago!

Then, in case anyone still doubted, Belting and Eeboom took everyone out into the parking lot of the Orlando Florida Mall … and once again, put the “thousand-year-old” (if not far older …) jet-powered aircraft through its paces for the astonished crowd.

The Kongka Pass or also called Kongka La, is about as remote as it gets. Located within the Himalayan mountain range, the low mountain pass, which meanders through the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, and intrudes into the Chang Chenmo Valley of China. It is a place surrounded by looming snowcapped peaks, deep gullies and valleys, and constantly battered by frigid weather, a place not meant for us. It is a forbidding, uninhabited no man’s land only sparsely roamed by herders, Hindu pilgrims, adventure seekers, and overseen by sporadic military outposts along the craggy border, since the pass has long been disputed and fought over by India and China. It’s sweeping vistas of barren expanses of rocky, jagged land give this place an ambiance and appearance not unlike some alien world, which is perhaps appropriate because the Kongka Pass has come to be known as a hotspot for UFOs and weird alien activity.

For years those who have travelled through the pass have come back with strange stories. Common among these are unidentified lights in the sky, which sometimes do aerial acrobatics, swoop and rise, or even seem to disappear right into the side of the ridge. There are also numerous reports of disorientation, malfunctioning electrical equipment, and lost time, with people reporting suddenly waking up many miles away from where they last remember being. Sightings of UFOs have been reported by people on both sides of the border, with many of these witnesses being military personnel or even leaders, yet considering the harrowing terrain and isolated remoteness there has been little done to actually investigate, and this has led to rumors that the pass holds within it a vast underground warren of tunnels that operates as a UFO base for aliens on Earth. It might just seem like spooky tales orbiting an undeniably beautiful and inhospitable place, but there have been several incidents from the Kongka Pass that stand out.

The Kongka Pass

In 2003, over a dozen Indian troops along the border spotted over several nights floating lights in the sky of the Chinese sky that were anomalous enough that they were reported to their command, but there was no further word about what it could have been from their superiors nor from the Chinese military. Even weirder was an incident that allegedly occurred in 2004 in the Lahaul-Spiti region of Himachal Pradesh, where a group of geologists led by a Dr. Anil Kulkarni, of the ISRO’s Space Applications Centre in Ahmedabad, were on an expedition to the Samudra Tapu Valley, one of the most desolate and remote places in the entire region. During the expedition, the team reportedly observed a bizarre robotic humanoid measuring 4 feet tall walking along the rocky landscape about 50 meters away. The scientists observed the strange robot for nearly 40 minutes and even took pictures, before it purportedly suddenly rose into the air to shoot into the sky as soon as they tried to draw closer. The whole thing was witnessed by 14 people, including 6 scientists, who concluded there was no reasonable natural explanation. Nevertheless, their report went unanswered and was quietly swept under the carpet. Interestingly, others have reported seeing small, robotic entities in the pass as well, including one sighting in which the entity seemed to disappear into a hole in the ground, which itself then disappeared as if it had never been there.

There was another high-profile and very bizarre series of events that unfolded in the region in 2012. Between August 1 and October 15 of that year, units of the Indian Army and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force reported over 100 sightings of luminous objects in the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, a remote, 86,000 sq. km heavily militarized zone between Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir and Chinese-occupied Aksai Chin. The objects were described as luminous yellow orbs, which seemed to lift off from the horizon on the Chinese side and then proceed to move back and forth through the sky before shooting off. Army officials who witnessed the phenomena were certain they were not unmanned aerial vehicles, drones or low earth-orbiting satellites. In September of that year, a mobile ground-based radar unit and a spectrum analyzer was installed at a nearby mountaintop, but even when the objects were seen visually they failed to show up on either radar or in the spectrum analysis. An aircraft was even dispatched to approach one of the objects, but it shot straight upwards and could not be followed. A team of astronomers from the Indian Astronomical Observatory at Hanle also witnessed the objects over a period of three days, and came to the conclusion that they were not planets, meteors, or satellites. The mysterious objects were observed by hundreds of military personnel, officials, and scientists, but have never been conclusively identified.

On top of all of this, Google Earth has uncovered a lot of weird things in the Kongka Pass, such as mysterious openings in the earth that seem to have been bored out with machinery, as well as unregistered military facilities, complexes of buildings, and mysterious structures. It has been claimed that sometimes these images are blurred out on Google Earth not long after being discovered. It is unclear what this has to do with any of the purported UFO activity in the region, but it certainly adds another layer of strangeness to an already strange place. What is going on in this bizarre place? Are these phenomena the result of aliens or something else? One thing that can be said is that if this really is the location of some alien base of operations, with its complete remoteness and disconnect from civilization they could not have picked a better place to go mostly unnoticed.

Mysterious blobs of rock beneath Earth’s surface may belong to an ALIEN planet, study claims

Hollow Earthers believe our planet is filled with giant empty spaces that are occupied by beings who may be aliens, Earthlings or something else. Giant Impacters believe the Moon was formed when a young planet collided with Earth, knocking out the giant chunk that became our satellite. If these two theories were the circles of a Venn diagram, the intersection might be filled with the theory of Qian Yuan, who believes the Moon was formed by a giant collision and two blobs that were once the colliding planet are still occupying space inside the Earth and affecting its magnetic field as if they were alive. Giant blobs inside the Earth? What kind of Jules Verne fever dream is this?

“They are the largest thing in the Earth’s mantle.”

Qian Yuan, a Ph.D. student in geodynamics at Arizona State University (ASU), is referring to two massive blobs, one below West Africa and the other below the Pacific Ocean, that are about 1000 km tall and thousands of kilometers wide. These blobs have long been known to exist – seismologists detect a slowdown in the velocity of seismic waves when they reach these areas, indicating that the blobs are more dense than their surroundings. That has earned them the name large low-shear velocity provinces (LLSVPs) but no one has been able to determine what they are nor how they got there.

“This crazy idea is at least possible.”

Yuan told Science Magazine the “crazy idea” began in an ASU class about the “giant impact hypothesis” – the idea that an infant Earth collided with a Mars-sized planet called Theia, breaking off the chunk that became the Moon. However, no one has an explanation for what happened to Theia. Since no one has been able to explain the blobs either, Yuan decided to try linking the two and explaining both.

Yuan modeled Theia’s collision with Earth, varying its size, and focused on what could have happened afterward. With a Theia the size of Earth, its liquid core would have quickly merged with Earth’s. However, at that size, its mantle pieces could have survived intact and remained near the core. Studies of moon rocks from Apollo missions show they have a higher density that Earth rocks, which implies they came from Theia. A model with Theia’s mantle rocks at 1.5% to 3.5% denser than Earth’s would survive and end up near the core, and a model with Theia the size of Earth would leave pieces the size of the LLSVPs or blobs.

Does this prove Yuan’s crazy idea is really possible? He presented a paper on it at the recent online ‘52nd Lunar and Planetary Science Conference 2021’ and wasn’t muted, so that’s a good sign. However, he told Vice that there’s still a missing piece to the mysterious pieces that could be solved by another lunar rock mission.

“If people can find some chemical relationship between the lunar mantle materials with the LLSVPs, it may suggest they have the same ancestor: Theia. Otherwise, these two materials shouldn’t have any relationship. The LLSVPs are thought to be very old, and have noble gas isotopes. If the mantle rocks of the Moon also have similar noble gas isotopes, I think that’s the final task for our hypothesis.”

In the meantime, researchers are also looking in the opposite direction inside the Earth for more smaller chunks of Theia. There’s also another Venn diagram circle to add – if early Earth was hit by one massive planet, it could have been hit by more. That would mean the mantle may be filled with pieces of other worlds besides Theia.

Jules Verne wasn’t dreaming after all. We need to focus more attention to a journey to the center of the Earth.

A mysterious white orb was seen flying over some buildings in Philadelphia this week. The orb was not moving with the wind, but seemed to be intelligently controlled. It first moves to the right, then moves to the left...which would be impossible for a balloon. This object is a UFO. A white orb UFO that is watching the people below and monitoring their reactions to it. 

 

For some unknown reason, white orbs have increased in reports 5X in the last month. Even at MUFON site, incoming orb reports now reach 4-6 per 24 hours. It seems...something is up with aliens and they have some serious activities being planed soon. Only time will tell.

Contact With Nordic Extraterrestrial Beings in USAF Uniform Whose UFO Was Recorded

JP, an anonymous source who has provided hundreds of photos of different types of craft belonging to a classified US Air Force (USAF) space program, claims to have encountered a human-looking “Nordic” extraterrestrial on May 24. He believes the Nordic was dressed in a US Air Force uniform and invited him to fly in a saucer-shaped craft that had landed in a secluded wooded area of Orlando, Florida.

JP turned down the offer but photographed the spacecraft after it had departed (attached below). His recollection of the conversation with the Nordic reveals that they are directly cooperating with the USAF and adhering to the terms of an agreement on their communication with the general public.

The transcript of my Skype conversation with JP is included below, along with some commentary. I’ve produced a page with older articles and videos featuring his photos, as well as originals, for independent review.
The debate began at 10:32 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. I’ve removed grammatical errors and added extra text in square brackets to clarify what JP is saying: 9:00 a.m., JP Today’s touch was superb. Michael Salla, what happened?

JP: I went for a stroll through the jungle. I was getting ringing in my ear. I assume it was a sort of calling. As I discovered from the previous touch. I happened to run into this guy. I’m dressed in a suit from the United States Air Force. Indigo blue. His demeanor had shifted. Maybe a Nordic.

JP wears a United States Air Force jumpsuit and has light blue eyes and blond hair. He was outstanding. Many of these craft, he says, can be seen all over the world. He asked me to join him in his hobby. No, I answered. Yes, [he inquired] if I was certain….

JP: I told him that we would need video evidence soon. He explained that they couldn’t because of a treaty they have with the United States and other countries.

This is consistent with what contactees like George Adamski, Howard Menger, and others have said about human-looking extraterrestrials that they helped blend into local communities in order to escape detection by the general public and even national authorities.

It’s worth noting that the current Russian Prime Minister, Dimitry Medvedev, claimed in December 2012 that when he became President, he would be granted a highly classified file containing details on how Russian and global authorities register and track extraterrestrials living among us.

All of this implies that secret agreements have been concluded between public authorities and Nordic extraterrestrials, according to which no video recording of their lives is allowed by anyone they approached.

Returning to my Skype conversation with JP, I asked him about his decision not to accept the Nordic offer to work in his craft:

Michael Salla: I was taken aback when you said no. Have you ever had a bad gut feeling?

JP: No, I was pleased, but I was annoyed because I didn’t get any video.

Michael Salla: Will you have been allowed to take photos?

JP: He told me. This type of ship can be found all over the place. After he’d finished listening to me. He got in touch with me. I knew I was inside the ship when I saw a light. I’m just floating in space. It had only been a fraction of a second. He then told me that you had returned.

JP is saying that the “Nordic” arranged for him to see inside the craft without physically entering it. Perhaps there was astral projection or some other form of non-physical experience.

JP then inquires about Nordic-US Air Force collaboration:

J.P. : I’m wondering what’s going on with you and the US Air Force. He told me that they are working on a big project together. Several Gulf of Mexico ventures involving MacDill Air Force personnel.

Michael Salla: Why was he dressed in a uniform of the United States Air Force?

JP: Both of these sonic booms are part of the concept they’re developing.

Was it emblazoned with the USAF Special Operations patch, Michael Salla?

JP previously claimed that he was taken onboard a rectangle-shaped spacecraft and saw passengers wearing USAF uniforms with the Air Force Special Operations patch. The mishaps occurred near MacDill Air Force Base, which houses the US Special Operations Headquarters.

JP defined the Nordic patch as distinctive, with symbols of a star and a crescent.

He later explained to me that the uniform itself featured the acronym, USAF, with the acronym also written out in a foreign language he didn’t understand at first but later discovered to be ancient Sumerian after some internet research.

This, it appears, allowed the Nordic to move freely inside USAF bases:

JP: A distinctive type of space insignia.

Michael Salla: What led you to assume it was a US Air Force uniform rather than a Nordic one?

JP: To blend in while walking around the [USAF] base. “United States Air Force,” the patch read.

Michael Salla: Did he tell you, MacDill, that he hangs out on US Air Force bases?

JP:… There are other bases around the world.

Michael Salla: That makes complete sense. Did he say how long his organization has been working on joint ventures with the USAF? When did it all start?

JP: We didn’t get very far with that talk. I’ve been thinking about you for a long time, Michael. I dashed to my truck as he walked away.

Michael Salla: Was the conversation conducted in English or by telepathy?

JP is fluent in English. The European variant. In the same way that English people speak. The perfect English. This is not a traditional American remark.

Michael Salla: Were you able to take any pictures?

Of course, JP.

JP claimed to have been able to photograph the craft after it took off, but not while it was still on the ground. The first images of the departing craft are shown below. Many of the photographs he sent are included in the video below, as well as zooms of two of them.

JP says he was about 25 meters away from the craft when it landed, but his phone didn’t work. The craft’s diameter was approximately 20 meters, and it had three window panes through which he could see.

JP was then questioned about what the Nordic had told him about the USAF partnership:

Michael Salla: What kinds of systems did the Nordics work on with the USAF?

JP: Playing with ship maneuvering. Invasive maneuvers are being carried out all over the world, including in the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Russia, and Asia.

Michael Salla: Were the Nordics demonstrating intrusive maneuvers to the US Air Force? Could you please elaborate?

JP Another craft is being accompanied by another craft. This isn’t the same as a plane following another plane.

Michael Salla: Were the Nordics sharing technologies with the US Air Force, or merely understanding how?

JP: The US Air Force has the supplies, but they don’t know how to use it. It’s the equivalent of handing over a smartphone to an Indian on Amazon. The Indian would have no idea how to charge [the] phone or navigate…

In other words, they are teaching physics to technology. What to do with the guns because weapons can impair the craft’s ability to fly.

The craft’s cannon is a superheated pulsing weapon fire. How to deal with thunderstorms to save and gain electricity, using radioactive light beams.

It’s worth remembering here that, according to William Tompkins, Corey Goode, and others, the US military industrial complex decided to work with German scientists after WWII to learn about the technology of crashed extraterrestrial spacecraft recovered from Roswell and elsewhere. My most recent book, Antarctica’s Hidden History: Corporate Origins of Secret Space Programs, goes into great detail on this subject.

According to JP’s testimony, the USAF is also in need of assistance in understanding Nordic extraterrestrial technology, which is more advanced than recovered spacecraft belonging to tiny Gray extraterrestrials whose bodies are often discovered inside crashed vehicles.

It’s worth noting that in previous incidents involving his sightings of USAF aerospace vehicles and Nordic spacecraft, covert agents caused him to look in the direction of the craft. This suggests that he is a part of a licensed transparency movement in which he is being supported in revealing the presence of an Air Force Secret space program, as well as their alliance with a group of Nordic extraterrestrials who mimic humans.

JP previously stated that he has been informed that he is not permitted to take videos of the craft, but that he is permitted to take photographs. When he tries to record videos of the spacecraft he sees,his phone shuts down, he says.

I’ve known JP since 2008, and I believe he’s telling the truth about what occurred. The photographs show without a shadow of a doubt that the remarkable events he experienced were authentic.

5 Theories About UFOs That Don’t Involve Aliens

Unidentified flying objects. Yet, the first thing that pops into our mind when we think of UFOs is the dehydrated face of an awfully malnutritioned gray alien, maybe green.

But what of UFOs? Are they really aliens? Or is there another explanation? For the sake of curiosity, we shall explore the latter..

5. Time Travellers

This is probably the second-best known theory, right after the “aliens” explanation. The idea that UFOs could be time travelers for the future has been proposed again, and again, and again.

That’s exactly why it is the first name on the list. As we progress, we’ll explore the wider and more controversial theories.

Dr. Bruce Goldberg, who is normally a dentist and hypnotherapist, claims himself to be a specialist in “future life progression”. His theory is that UFOs are actually time travellers from the distant future, chrononauts, and that grays are simply: the evolved humans.

4. The Imaginal Realm

Remember how we all have been obsessing about the Buddhist concept of “tulpas” or “imagined reality”, ever since the idea has surfaced the internet? Similar is the idea of the “imaginal realm”.

This alternate dimension is supposed to be the result of the collective imagination of all, often interlapping with this reality, leading to such phenomena as UFOs, fairies, ghosts, demons and so forth.

Also, certain people are gifted with the special ability of visualising this realm, aka, psychics, visionaries and prophets.

3. Demonic Entities

This is one of the many beliefs that Christians worrying about the “Final Days” often seem to have.

They tend to believe that UFOs and aliens are just a propaganda machine for Satan’s dark army, who are trying to control the human race camouflaging themselves as aliens from the outer space, therefore creating a world of chaos and anarchy.

While many will argue that this is paranoid, if UFOs exist, there is no reason why demons can’t.

2. Fourth Dimensional Objects

The only reason we are mentioning this theory is that we found a rather interesting quote on Listverse.com:

Imagine a flat plane on which two-dimensional creatures live. They cannot perceive our third dimension, but we can see them. Say you stick your finger into their plane.

From their point of view, an object has suddenly and inexplicably appeared out of nowhere. It also appears to change size and shape depending on exactly what cross-section of your finger is in their plane.

When you pull your finger out, the object disappears, and no one believes the two-dimensional creature who saw it because he was drunk and is always making up crazy stories.

Yep, that’s a possibility, and if it can happen to them, it can probably happen to us too. You know, when dealing with fourth-dimensional objects like UFOs. Problem is, there is no proof about an existing world of two-dimensional stick figures, or a fourth-dimensional one.

1. UFOs Are a Missing Link

If we maintain that UFOs are indeed ultra-modern spaceships used by an advanced race of creatures, it seems more likely that the creatures originate from Earth than a different planet. People who hold on to this belief often use Ockham’s Razor to justify their viewpoint.

While it seems highly unlikely that any creatures thriving on this surface are still unknown to humans, people often combine this with the Hollow Earth Theory and other “cryptid-related” theories, therefore the term “Cryptoterrestrial”.

Ex-USAF Captain: UFOs Hacked Malmstrom AFB Nuke System, Deactivated 10 Missiles

Since 2020, the number of UFO sightings has increased in many locations in the United States. The recent statement on the upcoming UFO reports by the former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe surprised everyone. He said that some UFO sightings are hard to explain. Some officials are worried about the continuous spotting of UFOs over military bases. Is there any possibility that the military actions are being controlled by these UFOs? Not so long ago, former US Air Force Captain Robert Salas believed that UFOs are real and they do interfere in the military’s nuclear program. 

A 30-year-long investigation by UFO researcher Robert L. Hastings has revealed shocking information about the connections between UFO and Nukes. He interviewed more than 50 officials of the US army, ranked from nuclear missile launch and targeting officers to missile maintenance personnel and the missile security police. According to him, the UFO activities over the US army bases have been noticed since 1948. His sources told him that mainly, the UFO incidents occurred at “Malmstrom, Minot, F.E. Warren, Ellsworth, Vandenberg, and Walker AFBs, between 1963 and 1996. Other sources were stationed at Wurtsmith and Loring AFBs, where B-52 nuclear bombers were based during the Cold War era.”

Former US Air Force Captain Robert Salas

One such incident mentioned by Captian Salas took place on the morning of March 16, 1967. He was at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana in an underground capsule when he was told by the security forces that a red glowing object had been seen at the front gate of the base.

One of the airmen was enjoying the clear morning sky when suddenly a star appeared from the sky, moving in a zig-zag manner. Then another light came and started doing the same thing. He called the Flight Security Controller (FSC), and they both watched the movement of those strange lights. They reported to Salas and he asked them to keep an eye on those lights.

Firstly, it did not concern Salas because he thought that maybe his colleagues were joking. After some time, he was called by the controller again, and he (FSC) was frightened and shouting. They were watching a UFO, hovering outside the front gate.

“I can’t really describe it. It’s glowing red. What are we supposed to do? Make sure the site is secure and I’ll phone the Command Post. Sir, I have to go now, one of the guys just got injured.”

After that, Salas lost communication with the airman and security guard. He immediately contacted his commander Lt. Fred Meiwald, who was sleeping at that time. While he was on the call with Lt. Meiwald, a security alarm rang, indicating a problem within the missile system. He checked the matter and found there was a ‘No-Go’ light, and two red security lights were lit. He was just trying to understand what went wrong, consecutively several alarms went off and they lost “entire flight of ten ICBMs to a ‘No-Go’ (inoperable) condition.”

Malmstrom Air Force Base

He reported the incident to his command post and reived information from the security guard that the man who had seen the UFO was seriously injured. The security guard also told him that the UFO had a saucer shape and was constantly hovering near the front gate.

“They could have a lot more damage, permanent damage, to our weapons systems, and they didn’t,” Salas said. “If they wanted to destroy them, with all the powers they seem to have, I think they could have done that job, so I personally don’t think this was a hostile intent,” Salas said.

According to declassified documents of the incident, a team of engineers from the Boing company conducted an investigation but did not find anything that could confirm the reason behind the missile system failure. Robert Kaminski, who was leading the team, said: “There were no significant failures, engineering data or findings that would explain how ten missiles were knocked off alert,” and “…there was no technical explanation that could explain the event.”

Several other engineers tried their luck to find the cause of missile system failure but no strong evidence was found. In the end, they concluded that the system could have failed due to an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) sent from an unknown source.

Aliens Implanted ‘Nano Chips’ Into Human Bodies And Controlling Them For Decades

One of the strangest features in the cases of alien abduction is when physical evidence remains on victims’ bodies. Roger Krevin Leir (1935-2014) was an American podiatric surgeon and ufologist who had found alien implants while performing surgeries on his patients.

According to Leir’s findings, these implants were pieces of rare metals, strange wiring, something that looked like electrodes or microcircuits. Most often, they were found in the nose area (pushed very far, almost to the brain) and in the limbs.

Leir started his career as an orthopedic surgeon in California and initially had no interest in ufology. But gradually, he found his interest in UFOs and aliens and then became a member of the local branch of MUFON.

However, for many years, it was just an exciting hobby for him and he did not mix this hobby with his work. But in 1955, everything changed. That year, Leir attended a UFO event, where he saw X-rays of a woman claiming to had been abducted by aliens.

Leir, being a surgeon, found something abnormal in the photographs of a woman’s body. He found several metal objects in the pictures at once and then told the woman that he could remove them from her body. Leir was driven by curiosity, he wanted to study these objects and understand what they could have been.

When he operated the victim, he discovered that they were two tiny pieces of metal that consisted of aluminum and meteoric iron. There were no scars on the surface of the skin near the area where he pulled these objects out, and there was not the slightest trace of inflammation in the connective tissue, as if the woman’s body did not consider these objects to be foreign bodies.

How could these objects have got into the body and what were they? Leir was confused. But then he found another patient with the same implants, and when he pulled them out, they again turned out to be objects with unusual properties.

Leir operated about dozens of people, removing many different strange objects from their bodies. All implants were unique, their shapes were not repeated, it seemed that the implants were made for each person individually.

Some of them consisted of very rare elements, for example, one implant contained U-236, an isotope of uranium, and another contained iridium. And a whole group of implants was elements that are found only in meteorites.

Sometimes implants were showing strange crystalline structures, implants like carbon nanofibers or nanotubes, covered with a very hard oily layer that prevented the body from rejecting them. Some implants were magnetic, and some were said to emit obscure radio waves at the deep space-frequency and continued to emit these signals even after being removed from the body.

Leir said that he had several cases when these implants were trying to avoid a surgical scalpel and remain in the patient’s body. And when he tried to cut the implants, they were extremely resistant to conventional instruments, and only with a laser, he was able to damage some of them.

There was one frightening case when one implant, during removal, suddenly broke into several pieces, but then began to come together by itself.

According to Leir, in that case, a man from southern California had had several abductions in his life, including when he was abducted with his wife and their children.

One morning, he woke up with a pain in his toe, and then he saw several spots of blood on the sheet. After examination, Leir found a foreign body in his finger, although there was not a single wound on it and there were no traces of blood anywhere. He took x-rays and decided to remove it surgically.

After several visits, the man told Leir that he had been abducted by aliens. Leir carried out the whole operation under C-Arm (X-ray image intensifier). For the first time, the alien object split into several parts. Lier placed each piece on gauze and then transferred it to a container filled with serum from the patient’s blood.

Leir and his team managed to remove all pieces of the object except for the last one which suddenly disappeared somewhere and was never found.

After three days of the operation, Leir found that all the broken pieces were lined up next to each other. He could only say about the properties of the foreign object that all the pieces were made of a material with a special magnetic memory.

Another frightening discovery by Dr. Leir was that he found that some implants had been in the bodies of patients for many years and even for decades.

With each of these strange occurrences, Roger Leir became more and more convinced that they were dealing with alien technology. He assumed that these implants were a kind of tracking sensor for certain people, or they were supposed to track the physical condition of those people.

Leir was well aware that his work would cause a lot of critical reviews, but until his death, he assured that in the study he adhered to the most rigorous scientific methods.

Leir wrote several books on the topic of aliens and implants, many articles in magazines, and appeared on TV and radio. A lot of accusations fell on him from skeptics, who believe that his implants are just random pieces of glass or metal that got into his patients’ bodies under various circumstances not related to aliens. Leir steadfastly resisted criticism.

137 UFO Sightings In New Jersey In 2020: Find Out Where

There is no lack of strange sightings in New Jersey with 138 extraterrestrial​ reported in 2020, according to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).

NEW JERSEY, NJ — There is no lack of strange sightings in New Jersey with 138 extraterrestrial reported in 2020, according to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).

The majority of the sightings report odd lights moving through the air or a triangle/orb/oval-shaped object being spotted in the sky.

"2 triangular UFOs with 3 bright green lights appeared in the sky and flew towards each other," said one resident in Great Meadows.

Some even reported seeing the objects being chased by fighter pilots, such as in Cape May.

"Red dancing light. Then multiple flashing lights. Extremely silent. Three military helicopters on scene. Air tasted like perfume," according to the report.

All of these sitings made their way to a list compiled by the National UFO Reporting Center, an independent organization that's been around since 1974. The group, which has assisted police departments when people report their observations to 911, has put together a list of more than 90,000 sightings around the world.

Here are all of New Jersey's weird sightings from 2020, according to NUFORC:

Military and spy agencies accused of stiff-arming investigators on UFO sightings

A public accounting is proving to be an "onerous job of trying get everyone to come clean," one government adviser said.

The truth may be out there. But don't expect the feds to share what they know anytime soon on the recent spate of UFO sightings.

Some military and spy agencies are blocking or simply ignoring the effort to catalog what they have on "unidentified aerial phenomenon," according to multiple current and former government officials. And as a result, the Biden administration will likely delay a much-anticipated public report to Congress.

"You have all the stigma and the taboo that is associated with it," said Elizondo, who serves as an informal adviser to the military. "Organizations whose mission this might fall squarely into are resisting adopting this mission. There's been so much public taboo about this for decades that no one wants to risk their professional careers and that of their bosses on a topic like this without being directed."

He also sees what he called "passive resistance," or "they're just not going to do anything to support it," such as applying resources or personnel to the activity.

Others see a lack of cooperation among different agencies and a desire to protect sensitive information that could benefit adversaries.

"One of the challenges that [the Defense Department] has had in the past is that a lot of these intelligence-gathering organizations, a lot of the military services' organizations that gather data on intrusions, are all extremely stovepiped and federated," said Ellen Lord, who served as undersecretary of defense for acquisition and sustainment until January and was briefed on the Pentagon efforts.

She also said there may be valid reasons not to make it all public. "I think it is sometimes easy ... to go down a rabbit hole for the sci-fi, alien piece of this," she said in an interview. "In reality, there is a lot of technology that has been leveraged by our adversaries and we have ways to deal with that.

"But that is something that is not typically spoken about in public forums. Therein lies the challenge of some of these things," she added.

The secrecy surrounding the effort has been demonstrated by the Pentagon's refusal to even discuss any details of its UAP task force, not even how many personnel are assigned to it or what budget it has been given.

Elizondo believes there is little chance such obstacles can be overcome by June under the current level of effort and is advocating for an interim report that requests more time and resources. "We can do this right or we can do it right now," he said.

"It's certainly not sufficient time to provide a comprehensive, government-wide report that Congress not only expects, but that Congress deserves and frankly, so does the American people," he added.

Mellon thinks it could take months or longer. "In addition to the onerous job of trying get everyone to come clean," he said, "there will be a sensitive and probably difficult process of getting all the players ... to agree on the language and approve it. That process alone could take weeks or months."

Mellon also said the direct involvement of senior executive branch officials, including Haines and Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks, "is likely to prove necessary to compel the cooperation needed to do the job properly."

The good news," he added, "is the leadership on both sides appear to be taking this issue seriously and are acting in good faith."

50 Years Ago NASA Sent a Map Into Space to Help Aliens Find Earth—Now They’ve Got An Awesome Update

Half a century ago, NASA scientists shot a map into space that contains the position of Earth for aliens to find—but it won’t always be accurate.

However, the daughter of the man who made that map is ensuring the next one will remain accurate not just for a few million years, but for a billion years.

How it began

In December 1971, NASA was excitedly preparing to launch the Pioneer 10 capsule that would not only study Jupiter for the first time, but set a path to drift out of our solar system.

As Pioneer 10 would likely be the first earth-made object to ever be discovered by aliens, the American astrophysicist Carl Sagan thought we should leave a message on board. His colleague Frank Drake thought we should send a map onboard as well.

So Sagan and Drake came up with a famous image—a line drawing etched into a gold-anodized aluminum plate that depicted the male and female frame, with the male waving in what would hopefully be construed as a gesture of good will. It also depicted a simple diagram of our solar system, and galactic coordinates for Earth.

A special moment

The launch was one of those moments in history that for many turned the volume down on everyday things like the stock market, election season, the school year, or problems at work—the kind of moment that caused people from all walks of life to gather around and say “wow, that was special.”

However the galactic coordinates method, albeit brilliant at the time, which Drake used to formulate the position of Earth, has a limited number of years to work. The method uses pulsars: the leftover body from a supernova explosion. Pulsars are very bright and spin at incredibly fast speeds. They’ve also been theorized to be the most effective points by which to navigate space, as the timing of their rotations, and the radio frequency their spinning creates, are constant and reliable for periods of millions of years.

Only a handful of these pulsars were known in Drake and Sagan’s time, and so their options were limited. But as Nadia Drake, Frank’s daughter, explains in her story for National Geographic, pulsars do slow down over time, removing their eventual usefulness as waypoints.

Each line etched onto the gold-aluminum plate detailed the pulsars’ placement with respect to Earth, while the lines themselves were drawn in a binary code which would allow any space-fairing intelligent race to calculate the rotational speed of each one.

This would also allow aliens to figure out how long ago the message was sent, because they could measure the rotational decay of the pulsar in years based on the speed during 1971 and at the time the message was found.

However this was also the map’s downfall, because the slowing down would effectively inhibit aliens from figuring out which pulsars Drake and Sagan were using.

A family business

One of the world’s “most prolific pulsar astronomers” is also Nadia Drake’s husband, and he was able to use the same method, but with more consistent “binary pulsars,” to draw a new map that could be reliably decoded for billions of years.

The binary pulsars, also known as millisecond pulsars, sit in dead orbits that won’t change even after billions of years. They spin much faster and last much longer. Scott Ransom, Nadia’s husband, also used pulsars that orbit Milky Way in what are called globular clusters.

Orbiting beyond the reaches of our galaxy, globular clusters are like millisecond pulsar factories, and shine beautifully through space telescopes. They’re fascinating places, and act as much better signposts for would-be aliens searching for our planet—even as the positions of the stars within the Milky Way alter and shift.

Finally, our concept of time and distance would be foreign to any aliens, so like Frank Drake, Ransom included the detailed chemical structure of hydrogen—the most plentiful element in the universe.

When hydrogen electrons change the direction of their spin, they release a radio wave. By comparing the speed of the radio wave to the speed of light, the map offers a new way to calculate both time and space that any race clever enough to pick out a silent spacecraft like Pioneer 10 would be able to decode.

The result is a map that is readable by any space-fairing race.

The US Navy and the Pentagon were reluctant to admit the pilots from the USS Nimitz encountered Tic Tac candy-shaped UFOs off the coast of San Diego in 2004, but it’s assumed by many that there’s more in the files than was eventually released. That proved to be true this week when The Drive, a military news website with a knack for finding out secrets, revealed that at least one and possibly as many as five other warships encountered mysterious long-flying drones (UAVs or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) off the coast of Los Angeles in 2019 using more sophisticated equipment than was available in 2004. Yet it appears the UAVs were not able to be identified at the time or in subsequent investigations. What in the name of tiny mint pill-shaped candies is going on?

U.S. warships like those in the report

This story begins with a 2020 tweet by Dave Beaty, a documentary filmmaker and “UFO Researcher Producer @ WWII Foundation who produced “The Nimitz Encounters – A Short Documentary Film.” Beaty appeared to be looking for info on an incident he heard about involving the destroyer USS Kidd (DDG-100) – an incident serious enough to deploy an onboard intelligence “SNOOPIE (Ship Nautical Or Otherwise Photographic Interpretation and Exploitation)” team. This alerted The Drive to get involved by making Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. In response, they received deck logs from the USS Kidd which pinpointed its location. That helped identify other ships in the immediate area, including U.S. Navy destroyers USS Rafael Peralta, USS Russell, USS John Finn, and the USS Paul Hamilton. From all of the logs, The Drive pieced together two nights of Tic Tac UAP sightings beginning on July 14, 2020.

The Drive has screen shots of the logs and detailed accounts of the various activities (see them here) which I will attempt to summarize. The USS Kidd reported two UAVs at around 10 pm and deployed the SNOOPIE team to document them. The ship then advised the USS Rafael Peralta, which activated its own SNOOPIE team and reported a “white light identified hovering over” the ship’s flight deck that matched its speed of 16 knots in conditions of low visibility and for around 90 minutes – indicating this was not a commercial drone. The logs of the USS John Finn also showed sightings.

Additional FOIA documents show that on July 15, the USS Russell spotted drones at 8:39 PM, and the USS Kidd saw them shortly thereafter, with both deploying SNOOPIE teams. The USS Rafael Peralta received a radio call from a passing cruise ship, the Carnival Imagination, notifying them that the drones are not theirs, and that they saw as many as five or six maneuvering nearby. The USS Rafael Peralta crew later saw four and then two more drones. The Drive notes that all of these sightings on July 15 were closer to shore than on the previous night and none of the ships appeared to have identified the drones.

Who or what is messing with U.S. warships?

Emails show a Navy and Coast Guard investigation began on July 17, with the FBI also being called in. Various possible sources or owners of the drones were identified, investigated and rejected. Just when the investigation seemed to stop, more sightings occurred – on July 25 and 30th by the USS Kidd. The Drive notes that it has not received other deck logs to determine if any other ships saw these UAVs.

The Drive asks the right questions, and we have a few more. Who is operating drones around U.S. warships? What kind of drones can travel 1000 miles from shore, reach speeds of over 45 mph and hover for 90 minutes? Are these military drones being clandestinely tested by the U.S.? If they’re foreign, why was there no combat? Are they related to the 2004 Tic Tac drones? Are they related to the “long cylindrical object” spotted over New Mexico by American Airlines pilots last month? If they’re aliens … well, good luck getting the Pentagon to reveal any more. One thing is certain – the Navy collected a lot of data that The Drive has only scratched the surface of.

There are numerous reports of odd humanoid beings and aliens that take all manner of shapes and sizes. reports like this are endless, often achieving a status of being completely surreal. One subspecies of humanoid sightings are those entities that seem to float or hover, defying the laws of gravity and even physics, and these have formed a whole are of unexplained phenomena. One such case comes to us from the country of Thailand, where villagers stumbled across a levitating, enigmatic creature that still has not been totally explained.

In the early morning hours of August 31st, 2005, the tiny rural village of Huay Nam Rak, in Chiang Rai province, Thailand, about 488 miles north of Bangkok, seemingly became the destination of an otherworldly visitor. On this morning, over a dozen villagers near one of the many rice fields of the area allegedly witnessed a small, floating humanoid around 30 inches in height, with yellowish skin, huge red eyes, and a large head and ears, a tiny mouth, and with no arms and skinny legs. The entity was first sighted by a man named Sawaeng Bunratchasak, who had been riding his bicycle past the field when he saw the strange humanoid creature hovering through the air. He at first took it to be a scarecrow until it floated high up above the field and seemed to move like a living creature, even seeming to look right at him and nod its head. The startled man then rode off in a panic to tell others of what he saw, and they came running to see it for themselves.

Many people saw the mysterious entity, which purportedly floated around the clearing for over an hour. Some witnesses described it as looking like a child, while others thought it looked somewhat robotic or like an animated doll, since its movements were jerky and unnatural. Still others believed it to be a ghost or spirit, but the main consensus was that it was an alien. It hovered all around the field, apparently under some sort of power, occasionally nodding at the onlookers or looking at them with a pleading look “as if asking for help,” and then suddenly it lifted off to disappear into the sky. Some of the witnesses would describe the entity as sort of stretching out and turning black in color before shooting up into the sky like a rocket, while others said it had gone up into a bright orb of light in the sky. One witness, 35-year old Sawaeng Boonyalak, would say of the creature:

The alien is about 70 cm high and has yellow skin and flat chest. Its mouth is very tiny. It has bald big head with big eyes and big ears. Suddenly, the alien floated to a tree top. After more villagers came to see it, it floated into the sky into the bright light.

When word of the bizarre sighting got out, hundreds of curiosity seekers began flocking in to the field, as well as news crews and reporters, and in the meantime local officials launched an investigation into the matter, which turned up no evidence of the alleged creature. Unfortunately, the poor rural farmers who had seen it did not have cameras, but they were able to make sketches of what they had seen. The police were very skeptical of the whole thing, accusing the witnesses of drinking, but they all insisted that they had been completely sober. In this sleepy village where not much ever happened it created quite a bit of excitement at the time, but a possible mundane explanation would emerge.

One resident of a nearby village by the name of Tongmuan Pochailoet would claim that he had found an old helium filled doll trapped up in a tree earlier that month and had refilled it to hang outside his home as a scarecrow. He said that this doll was 3 feet high and had an oversized head and small limbs. The doll worked a charm in scaring off the birds that threatened his crops, but he would unfortunately lose it during a storm. According to him, that was two days before the sightings at that field, and so he was certain that what was seen must have been his lost helium doll. However, most of the witnesses denied that they could have possibly seen an inanimate floating doll. The creature has been too lifelike and had moved its legs and head, even looking right at them and reacting to them. The entity had also moved about in an intelligent manner on its own power, even against the wind at times, and then there was the way it shot up into the sky, or by some accounts entered a UFO. Those who had seen it were certain that it was no helium doll. They were even more certain when Pochailoet showed them a picture of his doll and every single one of the witnesses said it looked nothing like what they had seen.

What was this strange entity that was witnessed? Was it really nothing more than an inflatable helium doll? If that were the case, how could so many people see it and misidentify it? was it simply the wild imaginings of simple, uneducated villagers? Whatever the case may be, it seems to have caused a minor hysteria at the time, and we are left to wonder just what those people saw out there.

Over the years, UFO witnesses and investigators have claimed that their phones – whether smartphones or landlines – have been secretly monitored by what some might call “Them.” To many people, this might sound like nothing but outright paranoia. The fact is though that “monitoring” of the UFO field has been going on for a very long time. And, today, I’ll share with you some intriguing cases. Let’s begin: While digging through a whole host of formerly classified files on UFOs at the National Archives at Kew, England in 1996, I came across a one-page report dated 28 March 1965 that, I confess, I almost overlooked. On closer inspection, however, I realized that it was potentially one of the most important UFO-related documents that I had ever come across. According to the MoD paperwork, on the night in question a witness saw at approximately 9.30 p.m. over moor-land near Richmond, North Yorkshire, England: “Nine or ten objects – in close triangular formation each about 100ft long – orange illumination below – each triangular in shape with rounded corners, making low humming noise.” They sounded very much like the “Flying Triangles” of today.

The witness, Jeffrey Brown, told me that “For about eighteen months after the sighting, I would get strange telephone calls from people. These would be every two or three months. They just phoned out of the blue but didn’t introduce themselves. They just said they were from some bureau or other. They didn’t mention the name of the bureau but kept mentioning ‘sightings’ and asked whether I had seen anything else strange. Had any men come to interview me?” Mr. Brown was never visited by anyone with regard to his Flying Triangle encounter, nor did the MoD ever offer an explanation as to what it was that he saw on that fateful night in March 1965. He was, however, unnerved by those mysterious telephone calls – primarily because aside from informing the MoD of what had occurred, he made no other report (either official or unofficial) with anyone and kept the details to himself. Brown’s report can still be read at the National Archives.

Claudia Cunningham was christened by long-time UFO researcher and author, Tim Beckley, as the “MIB Lady,” due to her diligent and dedicated research into the phenomenon, as well as being someone who had her very own run in with one of the MIB in 2009, as I detailed in my book The Real Men in Black. In the late 1970s, Claudia experienced something that many researchers and witnesses encounter: strange and unsettling telephone interference. She told me of what happened at the height of one of her UFO investigations, when she had just got a new phone. Claudia got a very intimidating call. In her own words: “A man with a guttural and threatening voice said very emphatically, ‘Claudia? I see you just got home. Do you know know what I’m going to do with you? I’m coming over now’ and hung up. I thought I would absolutely die on the spot. Just think, now: a brand new phone with a brand new number. No-one had it. If a neighbor saw me pull in they wouldn’t have my phone number to call me, so it was no neighbor. I heard a car pull in the driveway as I was planning to run out through the cellar through the cellar door to escape and it was my parents. Thank the Good Lord. I never found out who it was, nor do I want to know. I was involved in my studying UFOs, etc. and I was always very nervous and upset around that time to begin with.”

In 1996, UK UFO researcher Irene Bott and I investigated an alleged UFO crash in the woods of Cannock Chase, England. It was said to have come down back in 1964. After promoting the story in the local newspaper (The Chase Post) an elderly man, Harold South, came forward to share what he said he knew of the affair. In fact, he said he knew a lot. South claimed to have been at the site and said he was warned not to talk about what he’d seen. For years Harold had remained silent. Things changed, though, when me and Irene began investigating his claims. In December 1996, the two of us arranged to visit South in person. We did so on the 11th of the month. We called him – from my landline – in the morning and arranged to drive over to his home. When we got there, we could see South was very disturbed and worried. He claimed that in the time between me calling him and me and Irene arriving at his place, he had received a call from the Ministry of Defense – something that had put Harold into a state of distinct unease. South said that the MoD told him to call another number – as in right away. He did not. Rather, South put the phone down.

I have to say that, at first, me and Irene suspected this was a ruse: South’s way of getting out of being interviewed – after possibly having changed his mind about speaking to us. It turned out that was not the case, though. We asked South if we could use the U.K.’s “1471” system (that permitssomeone to find the number of the most recent incoming call). We dialed. Sure enough, and just as South said, there was a Ministry of Defense number. It turned out not to be from the main MoD building in London, but from the Ministry of Defense Guards Service at a local military base, Whittington Barracks. The person who we spoke to claimed no knowledge of the MoD’s call to South, even though we pointed out that we had specific evidence of the call. The conversation went no further – apart from round in circles. South, by now, was a man on edge: he quickly closed the conversation with us, clearly concerned that he was now in a situation that he had no desire to be in. South stopped the interview and refused to speak to us again. It was just another day in the weird world of UFOs.

Cases like those above absolutely abound. There’s little evidence to suggest it’s all down to fantasy and hoaxing. Indeed, the UFO research community has been watched, listened to, and followed for decades. And, no, it’s not a matter of paranoia. It’s a matter of reality.

Hey, in this old painting there is a UFO with brilliant shiny light emanating from it. At first I thought it was a mistake, mold growing, a stain,  a mistake of some sort. But as I looked closer I realized it was purposely made. What makes me think that? Well, first off the object has golden beams of light shooting from it. Also it has a domed lower bottom area and two antenna sticking from its top. To top it off, there is a man and his dog in the painting, staring up at the UFO in the sky. 

I do believe in god and I subscribe to all religions. But I can see that the artist saw not only a similarity but a link between Jesus and aliens. By putting Jesuses mother in the painting its a direct link to Jesus himself and they are being watched and protected by a UFO in the distance. I think there is a fine line between religion and aliens. What I mean is...when a alien species evolves high enough...they will have angelic-like powers and abilities...and the fine line is then gone. Earth is only 4.3 billion years old, but astronomers say the universe is 13.5 billion years old. So there are many species out there that had 9 billion years of evolution ahead of us. I call those species ascended species...species that have survived and evolved beyond the materialistic body to become pure energy and thus take any form they want, traveling without a spaceship, basically...performing miracles in our eyes.
