Le 24 Août 1990, de nombreux témoins indépendants ont observé des formations de sphères lumineuses dans le ciel près de la ville de Greifswald, située à proximité de la côte de la mer Baltique. De nombreux rapports de témoins oculaires, soutenus par des vidéos et des photographies, font de ce cas l'une des observations les mieux documentées en Europe.

Bien que le degré d'étrangeté dans ce cas n'est pas très élevé, aucune explication scientifique testée et démontrée n'a été trouvée à ce jour. Certains sceptiques ont essayé de réduire les caractéristiques de ce phénomène à un phénomène connu. Mais, jusqu'à présent, personne n'a expliqué avec succès toutes les données observées et documentées. Les sceptiques semblent
être satisfaits de toute explication possible, même sans démonstrations scientifiques le prouvant. Et d'un point de vue scientifique, une possibilité n'est que le point de départ pour la collecte de preuves et la recherche de confirmation. Dans les " cas Greifswald " pas d'explications convaincantes n'ont été trouvées pour aucune des hypothèses. 

Beaucoup d'observations de ce qui semblait être des groupes de sphères lumineuses ont été signalées dans les premiers jours de Août 1990 près de la côte de la mer Baltique, entre les villes
de Rostock, Greifswald et l'île de Rügen et Usedom. Ces lumières ont affiché un comportement inhabituel, contraire aux avions, ballons, munitions et phénomènes atmosphériques lumineux. Les mouvements de ces lumières semblaient incompatibles avec des objets connus, leur accélération semblait trop rapide et abrupte.

M. Gerald Schwab, un touriste de Berlin, a décrit ses observations à un journal Allemand. Il a déclaré que : « Elles étaient là pendant trois minutes avant d'accélérer rapidement vers l'avant " (Bild, le 31 août 1990).

Le 24 août 1990, les lumières planaient dans le ciel au nord-est de Greifswald pendant une relativement longue période de temps. Des centaines de touristes et les résidents locaux de Greifswald, Rostock, l'île de Rügen, l'île d'Usedom et Neubrandenburg ont observé, photographié et filmé les phénomènes. (Fig. 1).

Les informations contenues dans les rapports de nombreux témoins ont été confirmés par beaucoup de films vidéo et de photographies. Ceux-ci sont considérés comme des protocoles de mesure dans un sens scientifique. Même si les protocoles individuels n'ont pas été pris en vertu de conditions scientifiques, ils sont aussi bien faits que d'autres analyses scientifiques.

L'équipe d'analyse de photos du MUFON-CES a reçu six vidéos et 11 photos de différentes personnes et interrogé plus d'une douzaine de témoins personnellement. Aucune des personnes interrogées n'a observé le phénomène depuis le début, ni aucune ne pouvait se rappeler le temps de départ exact de leurs observations individuelles. Cependant, plusieurs des caméras utilisées indiquent un code de temps qui est affiché sur le film. Cela nous a permis de conclure que les phénomènes étaient composés de deux groupes de sphères lumineuses qui planaient presque immobiles pendant environ 30 minutes, entre 20h30 et 21h00 sur la mer Pommearnian (14 ° 10 ' de longitude Est et 54 ° 25' de latitude Nord). Le groupe brillant et le plus proche (à une altitude d'environ 13 °) a formé un cercle de 6 sphères lumineuses. Le second groupe (à une altitude d'environ 20 ° comme on le voit à partir de Greifswald) a formé une sorte de "Y" (par la suite dénommé formation-Y) (Fig. 2).

Un groupe de témoins est composée de 40 écoliers et leurs enseignants qui ont observé des objets à partir d'une distance d'environ 30 km. Les garçons passaient leurs vacances à Mukran sur l'île de Rügen. Ils ont observé que les objets de la formation-Y n'étaient pas stationnaires mais avaient effectué des mouvements individuels au sein du groupe. L'un des garçons a confirmé que certains des petits objets avaient voyagé et fait des va-et-vient entre les deux groupes de lumières.

Au moment du phénomène, le soleil était situé à 8 ° au-dessous de l'horizon et illuminait les nuages ​​inférieurs. La lune était encore d'environ 90 ° sous l'horizon. le Service météorologique allemand de Rostock a indiqué qu'environ 5/8 du ciel était couvert par une formation de hauts nuages ​​floconneux ronds, blancs ou gris, en partie des masses ombragées, ainsi que d'une formation de nuages ​​en forme de feuilles grises ou bleuâtres à une altitude minimum de 2.500 mètres. Il y avait un léger vent d'est nord-est, et la température était d'environ 60° F (15.5° C).

Ludmilla Ivanov, un médecin, et son mari, l'ingénieur de projet Nicolai Ivanov, ont filmé les objets de leur balcon au troisième étage avec une caméra vidéo Orion ( LP 11,7 mm/s, Fuji super HG EF- 30, VHS-PAL).

Mme Vinogradova, vivant avec son mari Valery dans la même deuxième maison de la rue, a été alertée par les enfants bruyants dans la rue. Elle a dit que ça sonnait comme si ils observaient quelque chose de très inhabituel. Par la fenêtre, elle a vu environ 50 personnes regarder le ciel. Elle a remarqué deux groupes lumineux de lumières dans le ciel et a donc appelé son mari, qui travaille en tant que traducteur. Il a pris une photo au moment où deux objets se sont joints à une formation de trois lumières qui étaient déjà présentes (photo : Zenith-E ; Objectif : Industar 50 mm, le film : SweMA - G5Gost, 18 ° DIN). Ce groupe d'objets a formé plus tard un anneau de 7 sphères lumineuses. Le groupe en forme d'anneau a disparu après avoir été clairement visible pendant quelques minutes.

L'autre groupe, plus haut et plus loin, n'était pas clairement visible au début. Lorsque le groupe en forme d'anneau a disparu, celui en formation-Y est devenu concentré et clair. Au début, il n'y avait que 4 objets dans ce groupe, formant une croix. Puis 2 autres sont arrivés d'un jet vers elle et un peu plus tard un autre objet est apparu entre la partie supérieure des lumières. Ludmilla Ivanov a filmé pendant environ 4 minutes, mais le groupe était encore visible pendant encore 15 minutes. Les objets semblaient tourner autour de leurs axes.

Les deux formations ont été observées à partir de Trassenheide autour de 20h40 par M. Rainer Ladwig, qui se promenait sur ​​la plage avec sa famille quand il a repéré les lumières. Il est allé chercher son appareil photo (Yashica, optique 300 fois) et a réussi à prendre quelques photos avec l'exposition automatique d'une seconde. Ces images sont floues, mais M. Ladwig a également pris une photo sans la fonction automatique. (Fig. 3).

Le temps d'exposition était trop court pour obtenir une photo assez lumineuse. Cependant, cette photo sous-exposée s'est avérée être très bonne, en fait c'est la meilleure, pour une analyse par l'ordinateur. Les lumières dans cette photo que M. Ladwig a prise ne sont pas lumineuses, mais elles montrent un contraste structuré (Fig. 6).

Une autre photo que M. Ladwig a prise cette nuit a capturé le reflet des lumières dans l'eau. Par conséquent, ce n'aurait pas pu être un mirage. Les témoins qui ont observé les lumières de Trassenheide ont indiqué que la formation-Y semblait être aussi brillante que la pleine lune. Cela démontre qu'elles étaient clairement visibles même à 100 km du lointain Neubrandenburg. Par conséquent, les lumières ne pouvaient pas être des ballons d'air chaud (lanternes).

M. Luchterhand, qui vit à Berlin, conduisait avec sa famille à environ 6 km au sud de la Centrale nucléaire de Greifswald quand il a repéré les lumières. Il a arrêté sa voiture et filmé les formations avec la vidéo caméra de son beau-père (Canon, 8 X zoom).
Leur distance à la formation-Y était d'environ 25 km. Vers 20h45 les lumières de la formation en forme d'anneau, qui semble tourner lentement dans le sens horaire, disparaissent. Quelques commentaires intéressants des témoins ont également été enregistrés sur la vidéo. Par exemple, on peut entendre M. Luchterhand s'écrier : « Je ne crois pas aux Ovnis et en de telles absurdités, mais je n'ai jamais rien vu de tel de toute ma vie ".

Le 24 Octobre 1994, l'un des deux grands réseaux de télévision en Allemagne, l'ARD, a transmis un documentaire avec le titre : " ovnis - ils existent " Cette émission, qui a été basée sur le livre " L'Etat de la recherche OVNI " par I. von Ludwiger, inclus un rapport sur les observations  de Greifswald. Après la diffusion, encore plus de gens ont contacté le MUFON -CES et ont fait part de leurs observations sur les formations lumineuses.

M. et Mme Groeschel ont fourni une vidéo de 15 minutes des lumières. Ils ont assisté aux phénomènes alors qu'ils séjournaient dans le village de Uckeritz sur l'île d'Usedom. Il peut être clairement vu dans la vidéo que la formation-Y a dérivé avec le vent (15 km/h) vers Peenemünde. Peenemünde était l'ancien site de production des roquettes V - 2, et un moment une base militaire russe. Puisque cette caméra vidéo était très sensible à la lumière, le fond de nuages dans le film est suffisamment lumineux et clair pour révéler des détails mineurs. Cela nous a permis d'écarter quelques explications possibles. Les lumières ne pouvaient pas avoir été causées par des munitions lumineuses ou des bombes légères, car elles auraient toutes brûlé en seulement 3 minutes et un maximum de 10 minutes et elles montreraient des parachutes qui leur sont attachés, qui auraient été vus sur cette vidéo (Fig. 7).

Cinq photos ont été soumises pour les analyses par le pilote Gerald Drape. Il a pris les photos des objets au nord de Greifswald. Il a écrit qu'il était très impressionné quand les petits objets se sont approchés de la formation-Y, avec ce qu'il estime comme étant une vitesse supersonique, et sont parvenus à un arrêt mortel quand ils ont atteint la formation.
Drape a déclaré : « En raison de leurs mouvements spécifiques de vol, il faut conclure que ces objets ont volé sous contrôle intelligent ".

En Février 1995 l'équipe des analyses photos a reçu un enregistrement vidéo des 6 lumières de M. Stoffers. Il a filmé les phénomènes de Zinnowitz sur l'île de Rügen, qui était à seulement 10 km de la lumière. Sur son film des nuages ​​lumineux sont visibles entre les sphères de lumière, ils ressemblent à de la fumée pyrotechnique (Fig. 5).

Certains des témoins ont rapporté que vers 20h47, ils ont observé un brusque flash de lumière à environ 100 m du groupe en Y, mais à peu près à la même altitude. Cela pourrait être observé sur les vidéos réalisées par le Dr Ivanov et M. Luchterhand. Le flash ressemble à l'explosion d'un missile terre-air, mais aucun son d'explosion n'a été rapporté par les témoins interrogés. Le diamètre du flash sur le film est quatre fois plus grand que celui de la plus brillante lumière, et il a diminué pendant 1/8 de seconde jusqu'à disparaître. Une explication possible pourrait être que peut-être l'ancienne Armée Nationale de l'Allemagne de l'Est ait tiré sur les objets. Ils auraient organisé des manœuvres militaires une fois dans la région. Les enquêtes ultérieures n'ont pu découvrir une partie responsable. Le lieutenant-général Berger, l'ancien commandant de l'Armée de l'Air NVA, a déclaré que les Soviétiques avaient fermé toutes les installations militaires et n'étaient plus actifs dans la région.

Vers 21h00 les objets disparurent les uns après les autres, comme le feraient des munitions lumineuses (Fig. 4). Cependant, après quelques minutes, la formation-Y soudainement réapparue au nord-est de la première position, avec à peu près la même forme et semblait plus lumineuse et plus grande pour les témoins sur l'île de Rügen. La réapparition a été remarquée par les témoins sur Rügen et à Neubrandenburg, qui est à environ 100 km. Aucune vidéos n'ont été présentées qui montreraient le deuxième aspect des objets. La réapparition a duré environ une ou deux minutes, selon les témoins, avant qu'elle ne disparaisse.

La taille des objets peut être estimée par triangulation. A partir des données obtenues, deux éléments pourraient être utilisés pour calculer la distance : La ligne de visée de Greifswald et de Posetitz sur l'île de Rügen. Il a été conclu que la formation-Y était à environ 30 km de Greifswald. Elle tournait à une altitude de 6.500 m de la sphère la plus basse à la plus élevée. A partir des enregistrements vidéos, il apparaît que la taille des taches lumineuses est d'environ 1/20 à 1/10ème de la taille de l'ensemble de la formation. En prenant la plus petite extension de l'une des taches de lumière sur une des photos très fortement sous-exposées (prise par M. Ladwig), soit 1/20 du groupe de lumières, une valeur estimée de 12 ± 2 mètres comme résultats pour le diamètre d'une sphère. L'amélioration grâce à l'ordinateur et l'augmentation du contraste révèlent que les bords des taches sont plus sombres que leur milieu. Cela montre que chaque point est composé d'anneaux exacts ayant la  même luminosité. Par conséquent, les objets étaient certainement des sphères (Fig. 6).

Une estimation grossière de l'énergie ou de la puissance que les lumières rayonnaient a été réalisée par comparaison de la puissance des lumières avec celle de la pleine lune qui éclaire le paysage pendant la nuit. D'une distance de 14 km (Trassenheide), le groupe Y semblait aussi lumineux que la pleine lune, selon M. Ladwig. Si la répartition spectrale est égale à celle de la lune, alors la loi du carré de la distance pour la puissance de la lumière de la lune avec 0,318 lux (correspondant à 1,8 x 10 ³ watts / m²), on obtient une lumière rayonnée estimée à une puissance (L) de :

Une autre estimation a été obtenue à partir de photographies qui comprenaient des maisons avec les lumières. Les lumières semblent avoir la même luminosité que l'un des objets dans le ciel dans l'une des photographies, Valery Vinogradov a capturé des lampes qui brillent dans plusieurs salons de chambres dans un immeuble à 150 m. La luminosité des ampoules électriques sert à des fins de comparaisons, étant donné que celles-ci ont à peu près le même rapport de luminosité que les objets dans cette image. En supposant qu'une ampoule et l'une des sphères lumineuses sur la photo aient exactement la même luminosité, et en supposant que l'une des lampes soit équipée dune 'ampoule de 75 watts, le gain de lumière est d'environ 8 % et la puissance de rayonnement (E) est d'environ 6 watts. Si l'ampoule apparaît aussi brillante que l'un des objets, alors la puissance de rayonnement (E) d'un des objets dans le ciel à 30 kilomètres au loin serait d'environ :

E = 6.(30.000)²/(150)² ≈ 0.24 Megawatt

C'est dans le même ordre de grandeur que dans la première estimation. A 100 000 watts l'ampoule projecteur génère 2,5 × 105 lm.
Le courant électrique produit par le groupe Y de lumières ( B ) semblait aussi brillant que le clair de lune :
? = 0,318 ( 14,000 ) ² ≈ 623 10⁵ lm

En comparaison : les films et les photos sont prises avec un léger courant de 20,000 lm quand une ampoule de 650 watts est utilisée. Le groupe d'objets a eu 25 fois plus d'énergie. De similaires observations d'objets avec cette luminosité ont été enregistrées par d'autres chercheurs (Vallée, 1990).
L'identification des " objets " de Greifswald est difficile en raison de ce qui suit en détails, qui ont été vus par plusieurs témoins indépendants :
• Pendant un court laps de temps, la lumière des objets a été éteinte. Les objets sombres se sont déplacés à un autre endroit et ont allumé leurs lumières à nouveau.
• De Mukran sur l'île de Rügen, M. Mirack a remarqué dans les environs de la deuxième formations un halo de " nombreuses petites lumières scintillantes blanches, comme un feu d'artifice. "
• Des Objets à plusieurs reprises s'envolèrent hors de la formation, en vol stationnaire à une certaine distance pour un vol stationnaire, avant de revenir à la formation et s'arrêter brusquement à leur position d'origine. Vu de Mukran, l'incident est apparu comme suit : La formation en forme de bague avait des sphères lumineuses volant dedans et à intervalles irréguliers. M. Minack a écrit : " Elles semblaient quelque fois aussi grandes que les lumières de la formation, ou encore plus lumineuses, et se déplaçaient très rapidement. Etant donné que la formation émettait des boules lumineuses vers le bas, l'échange ressemblait à un jeu de ping-pong. "
• Les petites sphères volaient dedans et hors de la formation-Y quand elle était seule dans le ciel. Cela a également été témoigné par Mme Vinogradova à Greifswald.
• M. Ladwig à Trassenheide, sur l'île d'Usedom, a observé que les sphères quittaient le groupe Y des deux côtés ainsi que vers le bas. Elles volaient à 10 ° environ, alors planaient pendant plusieurs minutes. Après cela, elles ont revolé vers la formation. L'arrivée de ces objets a été filmée à deux reprises par M. Luchterhand (vidéo n° 4 dans Klein und v Ludwiger 1997). Ses vidéos montrent des petites lumières qui approchent le groupe Y. Chaque fois que les lumières sont devenues invisibles, sur le film, elles ne pouvaient être vues non plus par les témoins oculaires.
• Les sphères sur les films semblent voler à une vitesse d'un arc de 0,5 °/seconde, qui correspondrait à peu près à la vitesse du son. Il n'est pas clair de voir si les objets accélèrent avant d'entrer dans la formation. Les témoins ont déclaré qu'ils sont parvenus à un arrêt brusque à leur arrivée dans la formation (fig. 5).
• Selon le journal Bild, le 31 août 1990, les écrans radar de l'NVA n'avait pas reçu de signal. Mais l'ancien colonel de la NVA, M. Mann, qui était responsable de l'installation technique des dispositifs d'armes, a informé M. von Ludwiger qu'il a entendu que cette apparition avait été « capturée ».
• L'ancien commandant en chef de l' Armée de l'Air NVA, le lieutenant-général Berger, n'était pas au courant de l'incident. Il a confirmé, toutefois, que la durée de combustion des munitions lumineuses est de moins de 20 minutes et il a mentionné que ni les Russes, ni la NVA n'avaient de munitions avec de si longues combustions.
• Le Bureau de la défense aérienne allemande a également confirmé que cette longue combustion de munitions lumineuses n'est pas encore disponible.
• Au moment de l'incident, le pédiatre, le docteur Lueder-Stock de Rostock était à proximité de son navire dans la mer Baltique quand il a repéré les objets. Il pensaient que les feux avaient été tirés à partir de navires de la Marine. Les sceptiques ont pris ses hypothèses pour l'explication finale. Dans une entrevue avec M. von Ludwiger, le Dr Lueder-Stock a admis qu'il n'a jamais vu de navires, en raison des ténèbres, mais il croiyait juste que c'était l'explication.
• Bien que les stations de télévision les plus grandes en Allemagne aient transmis les rapports de ces apparitions, aucune partie responsable n'a pu être découverte.
• Les sceptiques Oranized croient que la société Silbermühle a produit des munitions à longue combustion lumineuses pour la NVA. Dans une déclaration écrite par des employés de cette société, qui est maintenant intégrée dans l'entreprise NICO (près de Hambourg), il est indiqué que la durée de combustion des munitions lumineuses était limitée à environ 10 minutes à cette époque.
• Le service météorologique allemand de Greifswald n'a détecté aucune apparition inhabituelle sur le radar.
• En mai 1995, le Dr Aschascha, ancien commandant d'un sous-marin soviétique a statué sur la possibilité, dans un entretien avec M. von Ludwiger, que la marine russe possède des munitions lumineuses qui brûlent plus de 10 minutes. Il a déclaré que l'allumage de 14 de ces corps lumineux à longue combustion chers par les Russes - si disponibles - doivent être exclus.
Il doit y avoir plusieurs centaines de témoins. Tous les témoins interrogés ont rapporté en avoir vu un grand nombre à proximité qui regardaient le ciel, et observaient très bien les phénomènes.
Un groupe similaire d'objets a été vu et filmé de l'île d'Usedom, le 23 mai 1993, à environ 21 h. Cette fois, les objets ont été vus pendant au moins une heure à 90 minutes. (Fig. 7).

Seulement un mois plus tard, un M. J.Ksrodski a filmé avec succès ces lumières pendant environ 5 minutes à Mrzezyno près de Kolberg, Pologne, 22h30-22h45 (le 22 Juin 1993) depuis le balcon de sa maison dans une direction sud-est. Il a utilisé un Sony CCD - F 385 E, 8 mm. Encore une fois, 10 à 12 objets lumineux planaient à peu près immobiles dans le ciel. Trois petites lumières tournaient autour de la formation. La vidéo, qui a été envoyée au MUFON-CES pour enquête, montre seulement l'un des plus petits des objets en mouvement, vers le bas du groupe, très lentement (Fig. 8).

Puisque le caméraman n'a pas tenu sa caméra stable, les objets ont dû être recentrés, image par image, afin de rendre les objets dans l'image immobiles et observer les mouvements des membres du groupe. Encore une fois, comme à Greifswald, la formation s'est mise en rotation dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre autour de l'axe vertical de la figure. Lea objets disparaissaient lentement comme dans le cas de Greifswald. Après la transmission de la documention TV susmentionnée, M. et Mme Bode ont soumis à M. von Ludwiger qu'ils avaient tous deux observés une apparition similaire le 13 août 1994. Ils étaient en vacances à Pissuri près de Limassol à Chypre quand ils ont vu une formation comme celle de Greifswald.

Pendant la nuit, une formation de 7 lumières restaient immobiles dans le ciel. Une sphère a quitté la formation " très rapidement comme une flèche, de sorte que l'on ne pouvait voir qu'une ligne lumineuse. " La sphère s'arrêta un instant dans un arc d'une longueur de 20°, puis a volé de nouveau à la même vitesse, en restant dans la formation. La lumière en forme de ballon s'envola, vers la droite et vers la gauche. Les témoins ont dit que les petits objets se regardaient comme des boules de billard, échangeant des impulsions avec la formation avant de s'envoler.

En 1999, le MUFON-CES a reçu 14 photo de plus d'un groupe de lumières, comme celui du type de Greifswald qui ont été prises à la fin de Juin 1994 à Sassnitz sur l'Île de Rügen. Le groupe de lumières a lentement disparu derrière l'horizon. Nulle part ne pouvait être vu des bateaux de la Marine. (Fig. 9)

Dans tous les cas signalés, les objets légers ont été vus au-dessus de l'eau. Mais le 24 août 1999, un groupe similaire de lumières est apparu sur Beinwil - Hirzel - Richterswil, en Suisse, à environ 19 h, sous les nuages​​. Les témoins ont observé le groupe fixe pendant 41 minutes ! Le témoin principal a une video d'environ 90 secondes. (Fig. 10)

D'après les caractéristiques des phénomènes, il est impossible d'expliquer l'apparition par des manœuvres militaires. Si les objets plus petits étaient des munitions en vol et les objets vifs agissant comme une cible, alors les petits objets auraient explosé à l'intérieur de ce groupe ou volés à travers lui. Personne ne peut expliquer comment on peut arrêter un corps dans l'air à
une vitesse nulle sans perdre de hauteur. Jusqu'à aujourd'hui, personne ne s'est présenté et revendiqué être le créateur de ces phénomènes. Bien que différentes possibilités ont été considérées, pas l'une d'entre elles pourrait tenir compte de tous les différents détails rapportés, et personne n'a été capable de reproduire des formations légères comme celles observées à proximité de Greifswald.

Un robot sous-marin américain devait reprendre samedi 10 mai ses recherches de l'épave du vol MH370 disparu en mars. Le navire austalien Ocean-Shield, qui transporte le mini-sous-marin Bluefin-21, avait regagné Perth pour se ravitailler, afin de retourner dans la zone de recherche, à des centaines de kilomètres des côtes occidentales de l'Australie.

Le Bluefin-21 avait été proposé par les Américains pour prendre le relais, en sous-marin, après l'abandon à la fin avril des recherches par navires et avions. Il avait alors été immergé à l'endroit où un sonar hydrophone avait repéré des ultrasons provenant vraisemblablement des boîtes noires du Boeing, sans être cependant capable de localiser l'épave, et poursuivait les recherches depuis.

Le Boeing 777 de Malaysia Airlines, parti de Kuala Lumpur pour rejoindre Pékin, avait disparu le 8 mars avec 239 personnes à bord, dont une majorité de Chinois. Au fil des informations éparses arrivant peu à peu dans les jours suivant la disparition, les autorités en étaient arrivées à la conclusion que l'avion s'était complètement détourné de son plan de vol et s'était abîmé dans l'océan Indien.

Des recherches sous-marines plus intenses devraient débuter dans les semaines à venir, dès que seront disponibles les nouveaux équipements d'exploration sous-marine plus sophistiqués pour lesquels l'Australie — qui mène les recherches puisqu'il semble que l'avion soit tombé au large de ses côtes —, la Malaisie et la Chine ont conjointement lancé des appels d'offres. Ces équipements devraient permettre de descendre jusqu'à 4 500 mètres de profondeur.

It must have been about 8:30pm when I observed something like a rectangle in the distance, it seemed to be hovering over the caribbean sea, South of Isla Mujeres in cancun. I observed this phenomena from the 5th floor of the Hyatt Regency in Cancun, where I was staying for about a week. The object was hovering over the water. I was fast enough to capture this object on HD video camera. It stay still for about 2 minutes and then disappeared. You can see it disappear on video.

It was a dark clear night, with a few clouds here and there but the sky was very clear that night. There were no planes in the area at the time the UFO appeared. It appeared as a grey long rectangular object. I would thus like to share this video with like minded people who have an interest in the UFO phenomena. Its up to the general public to decide if this is anything otherworldly or just a phenomena in the night sky.

ALIEN ABDUCTION AND CAR CHASE IN AUSTRALIA

JANUARY 20 1988     ……      NULLARBOR PLAIN AUSTRALIA

January 20 1988 was the day that the Knowles family and their two dogs had an unexplainable experience whilst travelling across the Nullarbor Plain in the early hours of the morning.  At about 4.00am, Faye Knowles and her sons Patrick, 24, Sean, 21, and Wayne 18 were between Madura and Mundrabilla with Sean driving and Patrick next to him in the front seat when a bright light was seen ahead of them. Sean thought the light strange and asked his brother if he thought it was a spaceship. This idea was rejected by his brother, but Sean’s interest was piqued and he sped the car up in order to catch up to the object and get a closer look. At about 20 metres from the object the family say they were confronted with a white blinding light that moved along in front of their moving vehicle. It was about 1 metre wide and described as a slightly angular egg in an egg-cup shape with a yellow centre. The object, which at first appeared to be either on the ground or immediately above it then began to move back and forth. Sean swerved the car to the opposite side of the road to avoid a collision with the object, but then nearly collided with a station wagon towing a caravan coming in the other direction. (The occupants of this second car have never come forward) The object then circled around to the right side of their car and appeared to give chase to the second vehicle towing the caravan. The Knowles made at 2 u-turns at this point, the first to give chase to the object, and the second to abandon this idea as they had grown frightened. They had at this point gained the idea that the object was after them.  At some point the family felt that the UFO had returned and had landed on their vehicle. They heard a clunking sound and felt that the car was being pushed down by a weight that rested on top of it.  By now the family was understandably frightened, and the following events are difficult to unravel in retrospect. The family believed that the car was lifted above the road, though none of them were able to estimate for how long or how high. Mrs Knowles wound down a rear window and reached for the roof. She felt something soft and rubbery that was hot but did not burn her hand, and when she brought her hand back into the car she found it covered in a blackish dust. This event caused a panic in the rest of the family. Patrick wound down his  Window, only to be covered in the fine dust, which was accompanied by a foul smell that was likened to dead bodies. A high-pitched sound was then heard, which sent the dogs into a frenzy. The family became disoriented and felt that their voices had become slower, and lower in pitch. They believed at this point that they were going to die. Patrick said that he felt that his ‘brain was being sucked out’, and Mrs Knowles likened it to having something ‘going into our heads’.

A while later, the family felt the car forced back down onto the road, bursting the rear right tyre. Sean brought the car to a sudden stop and then blacked out. The family left the car hurriedly and hid in some bushes by the side of the road. They remained there for 15 minutes before changing the tyre and continuing on to the nearest town.  Unknown to the Knowles’, a truck driver, Mr Graham Henley also saw, at the same time and in the same area, a strange light in his rear view mirror. He described as being like a strong spotlight and like a ‘big fried egg hung upside down”. He kept the object in view for 5 minutes and did not see any car headlights beneath it. Shortly after Henley pulled into Mundrabilla, he saw the Knowles’ car arrive, and was confronted by the frightened family all trying to describe their experience. He looked over their car and confirmed the presence of black ash in various areas, both inside and on the exterior of the vehicle, and likened it to fine silicon sand with a burnt odour to it. He also noted four indents in the roof of the car and the damaged tyre. Henley and two of his friends also surveyed the scene of the incident, finding skid marks, footprints and tread tracks that they felt confirmed the Knowles account of their incident.  The family had by this time arrived at Ceduna and been interviewed by the police there, who confirmed that the family were visibly shaken. They also reconfirmed the presence of the four dents and the fine dust. UFO Research South Australia was contacted and arrangements were made for the Knowles’ to continue to Adelaide for further investigation. Keith Basterfield was at this stage brought into the investigation, and he stated that it “appeared to be an extraordinary example of a close encounter that had left physical traces.” However, owing to the story reaching the media, serious investigation became obstructed by chequebook journalism, with investigators needing to mediate with a television station to be able to talk to the Knowles’. The TV station did, however, commission a laboratory investigation of the vehicle, which concluded that ‘no significant dust was observed on the vehicle as presented for inspection’. Ufo researchers did manage to obtain samples themselves, which they forwarded to Dr Richard Haines, a NASA scientist at the time, who concluded that the dust taken from the interior of the car was different to the dust sampled from the exterior. Further tests by different analysts have provided no evidence of it being alien or unusual.

Unfortunately none of this is conclusive. There were other UFO reports in the same area at the same time, which tends to imply that something unusual occurred. The only conclusion we can safely come to though, is that something happened, and that the family witnessed an unusual light and were extremely frightened by its effects. UFO / Alien Close Encounter 

On 14th September, 1994, a UFO streaked across the sky over Southern Africa. Two days later, something landed in a schoolyard in Ruwa, Zimbabwe, with three or four 'things' beside it. This was witnessed by 62 schoolchildren, who had little or no exposure to TV or popular press accounts of UFOs. The children were interviewed the day after the encounter:

On Friday 16th September, at approximately 10:15am local time, 62 children from Ariel School, a private primary school in Ruwa (about 20 km from Harare) were in their playing field for the mid-morning break. Suddenly, they saw three silver balls in the sky over the school. These disappeared with a flash of light and then reappeared elsewhere. This happened three times and then they started to move down towards the school with one of them landing (or hovering) over a section of rough ground made up of trees, thorn bushes, and some brown-grey cut grass with bamboo shoots sticking up out of the ground. The children are not allowed in this area although it is adjacent to their playing field and is not fenced off, because of snakes, spiders and perhaps other harmful creatures. One can soon disappear from view while walking here, and there is only one very rough track used by tractors in an attempt to clear this area.

 There is a line of electricity pylons and according to one boy, the object followed along this line prior to landing. There is also some controversy as to whether the object _landed_ on the ground or hovered above it. On Tuesday, 20th September, I went out to the school with a BBC reporter and their television equipment, as well as my son and Gunter Hofer, a young man who builds his own electrical equipment, viz, a Geiger counter, a metal detector and a magnetometer, to try and see if the object left any traces behind.

The headmaster of the school is Mr. Colin Mackie, who was most co-operative, and although he had never been involved with UFOs or a believer in them, said that he believed the children had seen what they said they saw.

I was able to interview about 10 or 12 older children and this was recorded for BBC television.

One eyewitness, Barry D., said he had seen three objects flying over, with flashing red lights. They disappeared, and reappeared almost immediately, but somewhere else. This happened about three times. Then they came and landed near some gum trees; Barry said the main one (object) was about the size of his thumb nail held at arm's length. The reports were similar although some children were more observant than others. The consensus of opinion was that an object came down in the area where they indicated, about 100 metres from where they were at the edge of the school playing field. Then a small man (approx 1 metre in height) appeared on top of the object. He walked a little way across the rough ground, became aware of the children and disappeared. He, or someone very like him, then reappeared at the back of the object. The object took off very rapidly and disappeared. The little man was dressed in a tight-fitting black suit which was 'shiny' according to one observant girl (11 years of age). He had a long scrawny neck and huge eyes like rugby balls. He had a pale face with long black hair coming below his shoulders.

I had suggested to Mr. Mackie prior to visiting the school and before the children had been interviewed, that he let the children draw what they had seen and he now has about 30-40 drawings, some of which are very explicit and clear, although some are rather vague. The children's' ages vary from 5/6 to 12 years. I have 22 photocopies of the clearer drawings as Mr. Mackie kindly allowed me to page through the pictures and choose those I wanted. Most of the descriptions are similar but some of the craft are very obviously 'flying saucers', and I wonder how many of these children have had access to the media. Others are crude but more or less in this saucer shape.

The children vary in cultures: there are black, white, coloured and Asian children. One little girl said to me, 'I swear by every hair on my head and the whole Bible that I am telling the truth.' I could see the pleasure on her face when I told her that I believed her. The smaller children from 5-7 years were very frightened at the time and ran shouting 'Help me, help me.' When the older children asked why they were saying this, the reply was, 'He is coming to eat us.' I should think this applied more to the black African children who have legends of _tokoloshies_ eating children.

Their teachers were in a meeting and did not come out. When I queried the headmaster about this he said the children always shouted and yelled during their playtime and no-one thought there was anything unusual going on. The only other adult available at the time was one of the mothers who was running the tuckshop. When the children came to call her, she did not believe them and would not come out: she was not prepared to leave the tuckshop with all the food and money. Gunter and the men thoroughly examined the ground around where the children had seen the object, but could get no reaction on the geiger counter or any other equipment. If the object was hovering perhaps nothing would show.

I walked, on my own, along the electricity pylons for quite a away, caught up in thorn bushes, trampling blithely over snake holes and discarding all caution. I found no place where some object could have landed and pressed down the foliage. In fact, I should think the bamboo stumps would have been a deterrent. The day was hot, around 33 C (91F)...

Dr John Mack was visiting Zimbabwe at the time of the event, and he spent two days at Ariel School with the children. He also spoke to the Headmaster, Colin Mackie, the teachers and some of the parents. John and his fellow researcher, Dominique Callimanopulos, were able to get through to the parents and teachers and convince them that even if they did not believe the children, it was counter-productive to accuse them of lying. Listen and think about what they were saying, he advised. His particular interest in child psychiatry was also of great use during the questioning and many former hidden memories came to light, something John is sure to make public when he has had a chance to reassess his interviewing. - UFO AFRINEWS 1994 - Cynthia Hind

"I got the feeling he was interested in all of us. ... He looked sad and without love. ...In space there is no love and down here there is."

John Mack and I were at the Ariel School, a small elementary school outside Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe, listening to Elsa (not her real name) describe her encounter last September 16 [1994] with an "alien" being. In all, sixty children, ages six through twelve, reported seeing one large and several smaller spaceships land - hover, really - over the scrubby bushland adjoining their playground.

The twelve children we interviewed over the course of two days all described the same event with a steady consistency of detail. In addition to the spaceships, the children had seen two "strange beings," one sitting on one of the spaceships and the other running back and forth in the grass, "bouncing as if he were on the moon, but not quite so much."

The beings were described as black with long heads, "eyes as big as rugby balls," with thin arms and legs. The event took place during the children's morning recess while teachers were in a staff meeting. Many of the younger children were very scared and cried. "At first I thought it was a gardener," one fourth-grader told us. "Then I realized it was an alien."

The event lasted about fifteen minutes, the children said, before the spaceships faded from view. But even in their state of fear, many of the children reported also being curious and fascinated by the strange beings they saw, whose eyes in particular commanded an intense attention. Elsa told us that she thought the beings wanted to tell us something about our future, about how "the world is going to end, maybe because we don't look after our planet or the air." She said she felt horrible inside when she got home that day. "Like all the trees will go down and there will be no air. People will be dying. Those thoughts came from the man - the man's eyes."

Isabelle, a composed and articulate ten-year-old, echoed Elsa's feelings. "He was just staring. He was scary. We were trying not to look at him 'cause he was scary. My eyes and feelings went with him." What came through her "conscience" as she looked at the being was, "We are doing harm to the Earth."

The Ariel School sighting is one of the most significant in recent UFO history. It is the first time such a large group of people have reported witnessing the simultaneous appearance of spaceships and alien beings. After receiving a call in September from a BBC reporter telling us that a flight of strange objects and ships had glided across Zimbabwean skies for two nights prior to September 16 culminating in the dramatic sighting at the Ariel School, we decided to investigate firsthand. - Dominique Callimanopulos

September 16, 1994

On the morning of September 16, 1994, teachers and school officials at the Ariel School in Ruwa, Zimbabwe were amazed when the school's students, aged approximately 5 to 12 years old, reported that a flying object had landed on the school grounds.

The teachers at the school were in a meeting, so the 62 children were basically unsupervised while in the schoolyard on morning recess. The only available adult seems to have been one of the mothers, who was operating the school tuck shop - a sort of snack bar where candy, snacks and sodas are sold.

According to some sources, UFOs had been seen in the skies over Zimbabwe for two days before the incident occurred. Ruwa is about 20 kilometers from Harare, the capitol of Zimbabwe. Ariel School is a private elementary school with students of mixed ethnic heritage.

The children said that they had first seen three objects in the sky. These objects would disappear and then reappear in a different location. The objects moved closer and closer to the ground and finally landed in a brushy area adjacent to the schoolyard. This area had not been fully cleared yet and was off-limits to the students. The object landed, or hovered just above the ground, in an area about 100 meters from the students.

The children said that a small man, about one meter in height, appeared on top of the object. The little man, who was described as having a scrawny neck, long black hair, and huge eyes, walked a short way across the ground toward the students. When he noticed the children, he vanished and then reappeared at the back of the object. The object then took off and vanished.

The smaller children were very frightened and cried for help. They believed that the little man was a demon who would eat them. Black African children have heard legends of tokoloshis, demons who eat children. The children ran to the tuck shop operator, but she did not want to leave the shop unattended and so did not go.

The late Cynthia Hind, known as Africa's foremost UFO investigator, investigated the case the next day. When she was first contacted, she asked the headmaster of the school, Colin Mackie, to have the children draw pictures of what they had seen. When she arrived at the school, he had about 35 drawings for her. The drawings were of very similar objects.

'I swear by every hair on my head and the whole Bible that I am telling the truth.'

The headmaster affirmed that he believed that the students were telling the truth, and one little girl told Cynthia Hind that, 'I swear by every hair on my head and the whole Bible that I am telling the truth.'

Dr. John Mack, the abduction researcher, and his associate Dominique Callimanopulos went to Ruwa and spent two days interviewing and counseling twelve of the children and their parents.

"Those thoughts came from the man - the man's eyes."

Curiously, the older students said that they felt that the creatures communicated with them somehow, sending the message that we humans are destroying our planet, polluting the environment in ways that will have dire consequences.

Tonight at 8.30 SA time we were treated to the rare spectacle of a half a dozen CHILDREN AGED 8-12 attesting ON tv to the fact that a group of them had seen a group of four or five UFOs. Sentients with large eyes, long black hair wearing shiny black one piece suits had made themselves known. The ships had then departed. The witnesses to this encounter are a group of schoolchildren at the Areal School in a town called Ruwa not far from the capital of Harare. The date is 16 September 1994. Cynthia Hind, Southern Africa's most well known UFOlogist had a few words to say, but the children stole her show with their innocent and honest faces. They had all drawn crayon pictures of the craft. The pictures were all the same.. This I saw with my own eyes. We had Dr. John Mack on the same show. What is he doing in Africa? But the star of the show was the South African Sangoma Wiseman CREDO MUTWA. He is well known for his disturbingly correct prophecies. One of these was the prediction of Hendrik Verwoerds assassination. Credo Mutwa stormed the program with figurines of aliens looking exactly like the various races we suspect to co-inhabit our planet with us. These figurines have long been in the possession of the African nations. He attested to the fact that the African nations co-exited with aliens in Africa for hundreds if not thousands of years. He made the disturbing allegation that the Europeans who first 'colonised' Africa were mistaken for these 'other,' star people. Credo Mutwa has also said that AIDS can be cured by a SONIC SCAN or AUDIO FREQUENCY scan of some kind. This does not harm the person, only the virus. Surely this is worth investigating? The Inner Workings of the Human Consciousness

In order to awaken to our true self of infinite Divine consciousness, we must relinquish the conditioning of the disharmonic frequencies of our consciousness that is the operation of mind as thought and emotion.  This is the thinking mind and emotional energy system that is within both the conscious and unconscious levels of mind.  We open to heart consciousness when we directly resonate the Light within.

The awareness within is the way that we experience and express our nonlocal unity.  The moment we look without for the resolution of our true nature, we fragment our consciousness in a veil of separation.  Ideas, thoughts, people, places, etc., cannot provide our unity that is only from the pure awareness of our heart consciousness.  Our fear-based conditioning has directed us to look outside for an answer to our wholeness, success, or evolution.  If we are looking outside for an answer, we will reinforce the neural circuitry and emotional encoding of conflict, control, and separation.  The resonance of our love, peace, and creativity is solely an inner choice.  Any external experience in this dimension can only serve as a reminder of our response to receive, generate, and transmit our frequency.

The Light Mind in the Heart

The Light is harmonic, fluid, frictionless, and with no opposition, conflict, or resistance.  In the incarnate dimensions of the universe, the full embodiment of Divine consciousness is a pure movement of frequencies of matter that pulse in a synchronous expansive and contractive movement.  There is not the constant inertia, friction, resistance, and struggle that has been the experience in a 3D/4D experience of the movement of matter.  Divine infinite consciousness experienced through the Light mind in the heart is a whole new experience of the frequencies of consciousness as physical matter.  These harmonic frequencies do not operate on the reactionary friction based energies of thought and emotion.

The thinking mind and emotions are based on accumulated past programming.  This conditioning system of mind and emotional signaling system is a restrictive protective system of conflict in a survival based consciousness.  The experience of hurtful actions of conflict is a result of the inharmonic dense level of consciousness that has infiltrated the human mind and body over thousands of years.

 Thought and Emotion as an Operating System of Limitation

At first look, we may ask the question, “How do we live without thought or emotion?”  It seems so fundamental to the experience of life incarnate on Earth—a vital part of the soul’s journey of learning and experiencing in a world that uses veils of fragmented attention.  This may appear to feel normal because we are asking the question with the conditioned thinking mind and emotional system.  Thought and emotion by themselves cannot vision and feel how a free human with a knowing Light mind of wisdom and pure feeling can act in this incarnate world.  We only begin to glimpse our true potential of intelligence to love and create without the slow dense frequencies of thought and emotion when we place attention within the heart and the infinite that is.

Creativity is love in the moment.  It is the pure expression of Being—there is no censoring, commenting thought, or reacting emotion.  The experience itself is its own delight.  Our use of language is a transducing of consciousness into a limited frequency pattern.  We do not have a word that translates into the understanding of natural infinite pleasure.  The words, “pleasure, ecstasy, bliss, joy, etc. all have a certain charge. They all have resonance patterns that extend from emotion.  Words such as peaceful, tranquil, and calm can point us to an aspect of our natural feeling, but cannot entirely grasp it.  The natural feeling state is a pure unity of dynamic active energy, and pure quiet and calm. We do not have a word that can define our natural feeling state.  At present, we can only feel this from our interior.

We have been under an illusion that our awareness and action from thought and emotion is natural.  In fact, they are both a time bound and compensatory reaction to experience.  They are not the intrinsic instantaneous awareness of being that is life.  This is the controlled programmed human being.  At the level of thought and emotion, all life of experience and action are processed through this filter or overlay.  We have been under the perception that our identity is somehow merged with the thinking and emotional overlay of who we are.  The thinking and emotional frequencies form an ego structure of survival and protection of a continuity of identity.  It is compensatory for a misguided view of lack, unworthiness, shame, and guilt, as well as attachment to the knowledge, beliefs, thought forms, and emotions that have formed the contents of the mind under a fear-based operating system of trauma, conflict, trial and error, and doubt based learning.

Disharmony of the Thinking Mind and Emotional System

The identity that we develop from our early childhood, past life thought patterns and emotional imprints, intergenerational transmission, and cultural conditioning, forms a false-self persona of who we think we are.  The way that the current mind responds to trauma-based conditioning through beliefs and negative emotional encoding, reinforces the misperception that the human being is not good by nature.  When we combine this conditioning with the thinking mind’s accumulation of knowledge through programming or learning, the mind is set up to continually search for a solution to a problem it cannot solve.

This mind can never find wholeness and truth because its very nature is conflict and repetition of past knowledge.  Therefore, we develop a thinking mind that is operating from partial knowledge that is always from past accumulation.  Using this frequency of mind is always in conflict and searching mode because it never functions from knowing.  In knowing, there is freedom, peace, and creativity in the infinite now.

What is the origin of the frequencies of the thinking mind and emotional energy within human incarnation?  Did it evolve?  Is it cyclical? Or is it an infiltration of a fear-based consciousness of conflict, control, and separation into human consciousness when this level of disharmonic frequency is not necessary?  It is clear that humanity as Divine infinite consciousness of soul in spirit incarnate through a frequency vehicle of body is our true nature.  Therefore, we need to understand how we awaken beyond the false thinking mind and emotional energy to the Light mind and Divine body through heart consciousness.

Light and Sound Frequencies of our Interior Consciousness Technology

As long as we are using the thinking mind and its associated emotional system, we are veiled from the frequencies of our interior consciousness abilities.  The frequencies of the Light mind and its sound resonance through the feeling body are beyond the past learning thought process and emotional reactions.  The knowing and feeling frequencies that are organized by heart consciousness is the harmonic energy of telepathy, teleportation, harmonic cellular regeneration, and intentional creativity.

When we are coherent light and harmonic sound as a unitary energy through the body, we are in heart consciousness.  The consciousness of the heart is our soul in spirit that is our Divine Being.  When in heart consciousness, the infinite intelligence of Divine awareness can express through a Divine body.  The body is a receiver/transmitter of intelligence as information and feeling—a vehicle of consciousness organization at frequencies of matter for being love and creativity within incarnate dimensions.  The Divine intelligence through the heart forms a communications resonance to the prefrontal cortex.  This part of the brain forms neural circuitry with the midbrain, including the pineal gland.  The hormones from the glands assist many electromagnetic means of communication through the body’s cellular crystalline receiver-transmitter systems.

The Light mind operates through the pure harmonic resonance of the body at frequencies that do not inhibit our interior consciousness technologies.  Without the overlay of the thinking mind/emotional system, we are all of our natural Divine abilities.  They do not need to be developed.  The human being by nature is Divine infinite consciousness.  When we are embodied in physical form, we live our true being through heart consciousness.

Disappearing Man

About ten years ago, I lived in a brownstone in a major East Coast city (it was “brown-stone style,” but the actual material was a grey-coloured stone). To help understand my story, let me take a moment to explain the front of the building and its relation to my apartment: when facing the front of the building, there was a “stoop” of maybe 5 or so thick steps up to the building’s front door (which, when facing the building, was on the right). To the left of that, behind iron fencing, were maybe 15 steps leading to the basement (this set of stairs ran parallel to the front of the building). Over this set of stairs was the building’s huge main front window (which was in my apartment). Next to the building on the right was a row of maybe 7 similar row homes, while, to the left, there was a small alley (but on the other side of the alley were maybe 9 similar row homes). Across the street was an unbroken full block of row homes (no alley).

My apartment was in the front of the first floor and basement. When I entered the building into my apartment, I would walk up the 5 steps, enter through the front door, walk down a hall, (which was the wall of the first floor part of my apartment) and then make a left into my apartment. As soon as I walked into my apartment, I was looking straight out the huge front window to the street (and the staircase to the basement with the iron fence was directly under it). As I walked towards the window, there was a staircase inside my apartment (that ran parallel to the front of the building and the staircase on the outside) with which I could go downstairs to the basement part of my apartment. Also important to note is that the outside stairs led to a door in the basement part of my apartment.

One evening (not sure of the season, although it might have been in the mid- to late- autumn or early, early spring), I walked home and entered my apartment as usual. However, as soon as I did, I noticed (through the large window) a man, solid in appearance (just like a regular guy), in a modern North Face (or whatever) style anorak with the hood up and his face down, clinging to the iron fence in front of the basement staircase. There are several important things to mention here: (1) he wasn’t there when I walked past the fence and entered my building (which was probably only, at a maximum, 30 seconds earlier), (2) he was clinging onto the fence and trying, unsuccessfully to steady himself. Even with holding onto the fence, he was swaying uncontrollably all over the place – he could barely stand, and (3) because his hood was up and his face was always down, I never saw his face.

Despite (1), my first thought was that he was really drunk or sick or something, and I wasn’t quite sure what to do. I watched him flail for several more moments, and then, worried that he was shot or stabbed or something (he was swaying THAT badly), I resolved to call 911. I walked to my chair (about a foot or two away) to get my phone. Although this took a maximum of maybe 10 seconds, when I looked back, he was gone.

My immediate thought was, “He fell down the basement stairs.” (Which would mean he was in the stairwell outside the basement part of my apartment and/or by the basement door to my apartment… in any case, where I didn’t want him to be).

I ran outside (again, in a matter of seconds) and looked down the outside basement stairs.

Nothing.

Confused, I looked up and down the street.

Nothing.

Then, I ran to look up the alley next to my building.

Nothing.

The guy was just GONE.

I stood, confused, in the street for several minutes, and I double- and triple- checked each of the places I previously looked. It just made no sense. There was nowhere else he could have gone, and there was just no way in the world he could have done a legger out of view in the space of time that I wasn’t looking… especially given his almost complete inability to stand while holding onto a fence. To this day, I don’t know what to make of what I saw.

In retrospect, there were a few other weird things about this apartment/building:

Once, early in my tenancy, I came home and my tea kettle was moved. I called the management company to ask why they hadn’t informed me that they were going to be in the apartment, and they insisted that no one had been in it. I chalked this up to me absent-mindedly moving it… even though I never really used it or touched it.

When I was in the basement part of the apartment, I would frequently see shadows out of the corner of my eye. I chalked this up to the lighting in the room, but I never really experienced anything similar with such frequency before or after that apartment.

I’m not really sure why I felt compelled to post this — I know that no one else is going to be able to confirm or explain what I saw — I guess I’m just interested in others’ thoughts. Does it sound paranormal? I’ve always been open to the paranormal, but, apart from this and maybe one or two other questionable experiences, I’ve never really experienced anything. This is partially disappointing to me… I read all these stories about family members coming to visit, and I wonder why my family members never visit me. Also, I’ve always thought that “ghosts” were transparent, but this individual was solid and wearing modern clothes, just like anyone you would see on the street. – Reddit.com

Hunting For Aliens

A Houston, Texas resident is on a mission to capture an extraterrestrial.

Derrel Sims, dubbed the Alien Hunter, claims to be the world’s leading expert on alien abduction. He has investigated alleged extraterrestrial events for nearly four decades. And, according to his website, in that time, his research “has focused on physical evidence, and led to his groundbreaking discoveries of alien implants and alien fluorescence.”

As he recently explained to Houston’s NBC affiliate, KPRC Local 2, his personal experiences with extraterrestrials are what have made alien hunting his life’s mission. Sims claims to have had multiple encounters with extraterrestrials, with the first being at the young age of four. He cites his background as “an investigator, a former cop, a combat cop in the military and a private investigator” to highlight his investigative skills.

Some of Sims’ alien hunting was recently seen on Uncovering Aliens, a show that has aired on Animal Planet, Science Channel, Destination America, and American Heroes Channel. He appears as part of an investigative team that includes Mike Bara, Steven Jones, and Open Minds’ Maureen Elsberry.

In addition to his skills as an investigator, Sims is also a therapist and a Certified Master Hypnotherapist who has reportedly helped hundreds of people who claim they have encountered extraterrestrials. He asserts that alien abductions are quite common, claiming “one in every four people is abducted by aliens and the victims come from all walks of life.” He is also a proponent of the belief that alien abductions run in the family.

But Sims isn’t out to force his beliefs on anyone. He is focused on his mission. As he tells KPRC Local 2, “I still have a lot of work to do. I’m an investigator, finding the evidence and doing something with it is my business.”

Seeing things that aren’t there

Pareidolia is a phenomenon that can make us see faces and other meaningful shapes in abstract patterns.

The human brain possesses a remarkable ability, one that we might not be consciously aware of but that can nonetheless shape our perceptions on a daily basis. The capacity to see faces and other forms in random patterns may seem to be an unlikely affliction, yet a tendency to see meaningful shapes where none exist is a feature of the brain that affects us all.

The infamous ‘Face on Mars’ is a popular example, a rock formation photographed over the planet’s Cydonia region that was long thought by some to be the carefully constructed visage of a human-like face. Incidents in which religious figures such as Jesus or the Virgin Mary are seen in the dirt of a window, the stains on the walls of an underpass or even the burn marks on a piece of toast are also common examples of this phenomenon.

In a recent study, researchers conducted an experiment in which a number of participants were shown a series of images, some containing obvious faces and other containing random static. The results indicated that people are more likely to see faces where none exist if they are expecting to see something – such as if they are told by someone else that there is a face there.

The researchers also discovered that the same region of the brain responsible for face recognition is activated when someone believes they have seen a face in an abstract pattern, whether or not a face actually exists there. Read more at Live Science

Exactly 13 years ago today May 9, 2001 disclosure was given at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. regarding illegal secret government operations and the extraterrestrial technologies that have been hidden from mankind in which the mainstream media effectively sanitized this message before reaching the general public.

So I started to compile historical data on a time line of over 100 years from numerous credible sources based on indicators which begins to start to answer this question. Many historical elements of this story I had no idea had happened, and all of it started to piece together a pattern of infiltration and psychological warfare on a grand scale in order to keep operations secret.

I'd like to share with you in order to compliment whatever research you may have done in this area, as each of us who has ever researched into this question has portions of this large puzzle from different perspectives. I doubt any of us have all the answers as it is shrouded in compartmentalized secrecy. Personally I have only small pieces of this grand puzzle. All of us need to come to our own conclusion and understanding of this if we are to transform this situation.

D’où l’idée actuellement très répandue que pour comprendre les états de conscience (sensation, perception, réflexion, etc.), il suffirait d’étudier la configuration et la dynamique du cerveau. C’est d’ailleurs cet organe qui définirait notre identité. Contre cette idée, Alva Noë défend dans ce livre la thèse que la conscience n’est pas une chose qui réside en nous : c’est une manière d’être dans le monde. Ainsi, selon ce philosophe, nous ne sommes pas notre cerveau. Nous sommes des êtres vivants, avec certes un cerveau mais aussi un corps, connectés à un environnement. Du coup, on ne pourrait expliquer la conscience comme on explique la digestion. Pour illustrer sa thèse, A. Noë propose plusieurs analogies. Par exemple, contre la tentation de réduire la vie aux processus chimiques ou métaboliques présents dans les organismes vivants, il objecte que la vie est un processus d’interactions particulier qu’entretient un organisme avec son environnement. Autre exemple : qu’est-ce qui fait qu’un morceau de papier représente « un dollar » ? Là encore, il serait vain de chercher la réponse uniquement dans la constitution physique de ce bout de papier. Sa valeur monétaire dépend certes de cette constitution mais provient avant tout du rapport qu’il entretient avec un ensemble de conventions et d’institutions qui lui sont extérieures. Il en irait de même pour la conscience. Comment peut-on encore croire qu’elle réside dans le cerveau ?

Cette thèse de l’extériorité de la conscience n’est pas nouvelle. Mais A. Noë a le mérite de l’exposer avec clarté et, surtout, de montrer comment de nombreuses expériences en psychologie expérimentale et en neurobiologie ne semblent avoir de sens que si l’on regarde au-delà de la seule activité neuronale. Par là même, A. Noë lance un défi aux neurosciences qui laissent entendre depuis des années que les progrès considérables dans les techniques d’observation du cerveau et dans la connaissance des mécanismes cérébraux vont bientôt permettre de comprendre le fonctionnement de la conscience. Gageons que les scientifiques portés par cette ambition seront tentés de lui adresser des critiques.

Indépendamment de ces éventuelles querelles de spécialistes, la plus grave objection à laquelle doit faire face A. Noë provient probablement de l’expérience du rêve. Si ma conscience n’est pas dans mon cerveau, mais est mon mode d’être au monde, comment expliquer que dans mes rêves, où je suis coupé du monde, j’ai apparemment les mêmes états de conscience que lorsque je n’en suis pas coupé ? Cela ne prouve-t-il pas que mes états de conscience sont internes à mon cerveau ? A. Noë a bien sûr anticipé cet argument classique. Il le récuse en soulignant entre autres qu’une expérience dans un rêve n’est jamais identique à celle que l’on fait en état d’éveil : la seconde, contrairement à la première, est répétable. Cette différence tiendrait au fait qu’une expérience en état d’éveil est en prise directe avec le monde, qui est plus stable que nos états internes. Soit, mais A. Noë ne dit pas de quoi l’expérience du rêve est l’expérience.

Alors ? La conscience est-elle interne ou externe à notre cerveau ? La réponse n’est pas si simple. Une chose est sûre. Il ne faut pas hésiter à sortir certaines idées reçues de sa tête pour aller lire ce livre très stimulant.

Jim Montanus stood on a dock at Braddock Bay Marina Wednesday night making long-exposure photographs of a clear dark-blue sky set with twinkling stars being overrun from the west by a dense mass of clouds.

“It was a very dramatic situation with that front coming in. I was all excited about the photo,” said Montanus, an experienced photographer now trying to make a living with his cameras.

When he checked the preview window on his digital SLR to see how the images looked, he was stunned to see something that hadn’t been visible to the naked eye: Two orange objects, shaped like an inverted cone or, if you prefer, a disk with a conical.

“I was looking at these shapes on the back of my cameras and saying what IS it? I don’t believe in UFOs, but, you know, it’s just one of those things. It was just cool.”

Montanus, who lives in Greece, was standing on a dock that juts out into the bay toward the northwest, and the objects were in that direction. The frames in which they appear were recorded at 9:34 pm, he said.

He was shooting 15-second exposures, so his camera recorded images that weren’t easily seen unaided and Montanus thus wasn’t able to detect whether the objects were moving. But at least one of them showed up in different places in several different frames, suggesting movement.

He pulled magnified images from two different frames and superimposed them on one of the shots, and posted the image Thursday morning on Facebook and Twitter, where they are drawing drawing considerable attention.

Most people who have posted their thoughts about the images think they depict meteors. Montanus, though, isn’t convinced. “It didn’t look like a meteor to me. How a meteor would show up on the camera would be like a stream of light. These were weird, bizarre shapes. I said ‘Look at it, it’s got a parachute or something on it.’ If anything looked like a UFO, it would be that.”

Montanus does not think the objects were an artifact created by his camera or lengthy exposure, though he still researching that possibility.

The Democrat and Chronicle has done some fact-checking as well, with no explanation found yet.

Officials with the Canadian air traffic control agency did not respond to a question as to whether the military there might have been responsible for the lights. But as the day wore on Thursday, various other parties came forward with more possible explanations. Lens glare related to the lights on the dock where Montanus stood or some other source, several people said. Chinese lanterns, those paper globes light by candles that rise and float through the air. Light reflecting off a passing airplane or satellite. Light from the surface refracting through the atmosphere.

The objects did NOT show up on the websites of the Mutual UFO Network or UFO Stalker, which might be just as well.

With his father, Neil, who was a renowned photographer for Eastman Kodak Co., Jim Montanus has set up Montanus Photography, filled with high-quality images, and as he told the Democrat and Chronicle for a story published last month, he is thinking about opening a studio to display his work.

But he never expected to add a photograph of strange lights in the sky to his portfolio. “I was really freaking out when I took it,” he said. “I’ve never seen anything like it.”

On March 29, 2014, an X-class flare erupted from the right side of the sun… and vaulted into history as the best-observed flare of all time. The flare was witnessed by four different NASA spacecraft and one ground-based observatory — three of which had been fortuitously focused in on the correct spot as programmed into their viewing schedule a full day in advance.

A University of Utah-led team discovered a “hypervelocity star” that is the closest, second-brightest and among the largest of 20 found so far. Speeding at more than 1 million mph, the star may provide clues about the supermassive black hole at the center of our Milky Way and the halo of mysterious “dark matter” surrounding the galaxy, astronomers say.

They Are Among Us.

Charles Hall, a nuclear physicist, ex-military American weather specialist and author is touring Australia with his claims that the United States military has been in contact with an alien species for years.

He says the aliens would dress as humans and visit Las Vegas.

”In 1964, when I was a weather observer at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, I witnessed interactions between the military and a group of mysterious tall, white, human-like extra-terrestrials,” the Vietnam veteran said from his home in Albuquerque.

”Their craft are capable of travelling faster than the speed of light because Einstein was wrong about relativity.”

Mr Hall said no cameras were allowed at the site, which has since been wiped off the map.

When he arrived, a colleague had wanted to lock them in the weather station and not go to the other end of the building ”because that’s where he had encountered them. There was a group of five, two men and three women, and they had come to go to the bathroom. ”When you encounter the ‘tall whites’ it’s such a shock, you are not sure if you are looking at a ghost or an angel, or if you are dreaming,” he said.

Mr Hall said he had contact with three types of aliens – the ”tall whites” (about 2.5 metres tall), ”greys” (with yellow/orange skin) and the ”Norwegians with 24 teeth”, who look like humans and speak English.

he claims that the experiences were real and that the US Air Force were indeed hosting extraterrestrials they had reached agreements with during the 1950′s if not earlier. They were principally involved in technology transfers with the US military.

He said US officials had kept it all quiet because people weren’t ”emotionally ready” to accept alien life forms.

The tall whites are humanoid in appearance. The first UFO researcher to seriously investigate the Charles Hall story is Paola Harris who interviewed him in July 2003:

“I enlisted in the USAF in July 1964. After completing basic training at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas, I was trained as a USAF weather observer at USAF Weather Training School at Chanute AFB, Illinois. My duties were that of a USAF weather observer during my entire service in the USAF. In late March or early April of 1965, I was assigned to the weather squadron stationed at Nellis AFB at Las Vegas, Nevada. I was stationed at Nellis AFB from the early spring of 1965 until May 1967. While I was permanently stationed at Nellis AFB, Nevada, I was assigned to several temporary tours of duty as the duty weather observer to the Nellis gunnery ranges that are located at Indian Springs, Nevada.

” Airman First Class Charles Hall was Range Weather Observer for several gunnery ranges between 1965 and 1967. These places were located in the hot desert and probably looked very quiet and isolated as well. Hall’s duty was simple: to release and track weather balloons, measure the winds, and call in reports to Nellis. His job could have been plain simple if the aliens Hall calls the Tall Whites weren’t often around, silently observing him. The Tall White extraterrestrials could freely come and go, even in the barracks and in the weather shacks. Charles Hall believes that these aliens have been on Earth since at least the early 1950′s, and possibly as long as a hundred years or more.

Hall: “I believe that the tall whites were associated with the 1954 Eisenhower-ET meetings and that they subsequently established their base in the Indian Springs area of Nevada in that time period.”

Following Hall, he was assigned to the ranges with some unusual conditions: no one could order him off the ranges but he was to be alone out there. No one was allowed to ask him questions regarding his job. He was given the surname “Teacher’s Pet”, a kind of special ID. Hall’s first contacts were traumatic to say the least. He simply refused to believe what he saw, even though others before him spotted the Tall Whites. In fact, not being the first Weather Observer to be assigned at the ranges, previous reports mentioned ghosts and a radioactive horse. Many were scared and injured until they simply refused to go back to the Ranges.

With time and much self control, he got used to some Tall Whites known as Range Four Harry, Captain, Tour Guide and a female known as Teacher (a very influential Tall White). Hall was told by the Teacher he was chosen by the Tall Whites as another guinea-pig to try to accustom humans and Tall Whites together. While all other trials failed, Hall somehow passed the test. That’s why he was identified as “Teacher’s Pet”! Hall, contrary to the other Weather Observers, didn’t panic when in front of a Tall White.

The Tall Whites have a base right in the desert, way beyond Range 4. From the Millennial Hospitality books, it is clear there are relationships between them and the US Government. Many times, Hall saw the aliens along with US Generals. The Tall Whites themselves revealed him how they agreed a commercial treaty: the US provided clothes, a base and other resources, in exchange of some advanced scientific knowledge.

Appearance of the Tall Whites 

Charles Hall describes the Tall Whites as pale, with chalk white skin and possessing a thin, frail body. Quoting Hall himself:

“They had the usual thin frail body build, chalk white skin, large blue eyes, and nearly transparent platinum blonde hair. Like all of the tall whites, their eyes were perhaps twice the size of human eyes and they stetched noticeably further around the sides of their heads than human eyes do.”

It is curious to notice the eyes change colour, from blue to pink, as they grow older. The Tall Whites are between 1.82 and 2.18 meters tall. Following Hall, the Tall Whites undergo a second stage of growth at 400 years old, until reaching the age of 800. Their language sounds like dog barking, even though they have learned English. Not much is known about their biology, if not that their bones take much much longer to heal. The Teacher once confessed Hall she required 5 years to recover from a bone fracture! A Tall White’s brain can process informations twice as fast, outperforming anyone’s reflexes. They can run faster than humans as well. Judging from the above description, their home planet (Hall hints at Arcturus) must be a warm, desert-like atmosphere (that’s why they chose the Nevada desert).

Interacting with the Tall Whites 

The Tall Whites must be excellent warriors and strategists. Their lives are centered around their children. They heavily protect them; injuring one would be a deadly mistake. Their culture seems almost military like: great importance and respect is given to social positions and hierarchies (them being kind to the Generals but snobby to plain soldiers). Additionally, many Tall Whites appear to be very proud, therefore they don’t hesitate to kill:

Hall: “Then the guard said forcefully, “You know that if anything goes wrong with this plan we can kill you any time we want to” Standing my ground still shaking in fear, I replied, “Yes, but I haven’t given you any reason to kill me…”

The guard smiled and replied, “You are quite right. We could have killed you in your shack the other night if we had wanted to.”

All this leads me to think interacting with a Tall White requires an overdose of attention: the wrong words or sudden actions may easily offend a Tall White. It is now very clear why Hall remained calm and maintained distances, when they were around. Hall himself could anytime be subjected to harsh treatment if he inadvertently harmed, scared or disrupted the Tall Whites. Eventually, he was shot by a Tall White female named Pamela. On that occasion, no other Tall White helped Charles Hall (Captain even told him he was going to die!), even though he was the Pet…

“Hall describes the Tall Whites as quite intimidating in terms of behavior and how they regularly stalked military servicemen on duty at the remote desert location where Hall served. The Tall Whites regularly caused powerful emotions of fear and even terror among the military servicemen who didn’t understand these Extraterrestrials or weren’t ready to interact with them in a friendly way. Yet the Tall Whites were also capable of exhibiting friendship qualities and of being teachers as in the case of Hall.”

A dual behaviour for sure: aggressive and friendly… It’s quite clear how controlling these Tall White are. Not to forget the condescending attitude they have for those humans who have done them a service. Judging from the above quote, Hall gained the trust of some Tall Whites by showing them he was not interfering with their plans: he let them control him. Yet, they fear our mental ability to multi-task.

If they really exist, it is easy to image the fragile position of the US military, dealing with a race like the Tall Whites.

The witness was spending a weekend out by Lake Arcadia, the fraternity that he was a member of (which is part of a nearby University) just finished having their back to school get together with some of their members. The location of the site was right by the shore of the lake. It was about one o’clock in the morning and he was the last one there and had been alone for around thirty minutes. It was his responsibility that night to let no one drive back home while intoxicated and make sure the camp site was in good shape when they were done. As a result of his duties that night he was completely sober and had not been drinking or using any drugs.
Right after he loaded the last bag of trash in the back of his truck he had this strange urge to look at the lake. The best way to describe that feeling was as if had been day dreaming. There was nothing unusual going on out on the lake and then all of the sudden there was a bright glowing light under the water. At this particular distance he could not tell exactly how large the circle was but it was big. The shape was circular and had a light green/yellowish glow with occasional pulsating red and blue lights. He stared at it dumbfounded as it moved slowly under the water from one side of the lake to the opposite side. The object moved from one side and back to the other two or three more times for about five minutes then it stopped almost near the center of the lake. The object glowed brighter and brighter then shot straight out of the water and into the sky.
After that he turned around and ran as fast as he could to his truck. Once he got to his truck he stopped and fumbled around in his pockets for a couple of seconds looking for his keys and seemingly out of nowhere a bright light appeared above and slightly behind him. He turned around to see what was behind him and there was a “giant ship”. It wasn’t saucer-shaped but was shaped more like a layered cake. It was not on the ground, but just hovered around twenty to thirty feet off the ground for a couple of seconds. It then shot back into the sky. He turned back to his truck door and tried to unlock it when he caught something out of the corner of his eye. He jumped back against the side of his truck and about 15 feet away stood three people staring at him that had not been there prior to the incident. There were two very attractive women and one very tall man that was at least ten feet high. All of them had blonde hair that was almost white and blue eyes. They did not say anything to him directly but he heard one of the women’s voice in his head. She said, “(My name) please do not be afraid. You have an important role to play if you would like to help us.” He said out loud in a shaky voice, “Okay but I don’t know how?” Then the woman said, “Don’t worry you will know in time.” Right after she said that everything went black. Eventually he woke up at around two thirty, lying about thirty feet away from his last remembered position at the side of his truck.

In June 1972, nuclear scientists at the Pierrelatte uranium enrichment plant in south-east France noticed a strange deficit in the amount of uranium-235 they were processing. That’s a serious problem in a uranium enrichment plant where every gram of fissionable material has to be carefully accounted for.

The problem lay in the ratio of uranium isotopes in their samples. Natural uranium contains three isotopes, always in the same ratios: uranium-238 (99.2744 per cent), uranium-235 (0.7202 per cent) and uranium-234 (0.0054 per cent).

The problem was with the uranium-235 of which there was only 0.600 per cent.

Physicists soon traced the anomaly to the supply of uranium ore from Gabon in West Africa, which contained far less uranium-235 than the ore from anywhere else on the planet, a problem that caused some consternation among nuclear scientists.

So France’s top nuclear scientists began an investigation and, in the process, made one of the more remarkable discoveries in recent history.

This kind of depleted uranium is only found inside nuclear reactors, which burn uranium-235. That set off a hunt for a reactor that could have produced this stuff.

On 25 September 1972, they announced that the depleted uranium had come from Gabon where nuclear scientists had discovered a 2 billion year-old nuclear reactor at the site of the Oklo uranium mines near a town called Franceville. This was a naturally occurring deposit of uranium where the concentration of uranium-235 had been high enough to trigger a self-sustaining nuclear reaction.

Today, say Edward Davis at Kuwait University and a couple of pals review the scientific history of the discovery at Oklo, one of the most extraordinary natural phenomena on the planet.

Since its discovery, the Oklo reactor has been a significant driver of important research in nuclear physics. In particular, physicists have used it to study how buried nuclear waste might spread through the environment. And since the reactor began operating some 2 billion years ago, they’ve also used it to study how the universe’s fundamental constants may have changed during that time.

But the first puzzle that physicists had to deal with in 1972 was how a naturally-occurring reactor could work at all. Nuclear scientists well know that reactors do not work with natural uranium because the level of uranium-235 is too low at only 0.7202 per cent. Instead, the uranium-235 has to be enriched so that it is about 3.5 per cent of the total. So how did so much end up at Oklo?

The answer to this puzzle is that uranium-235 has a shorter half-life than other uranium isotopes and so would have been present in much higher quantities in the Earth’s distant past. When the Solar System was created, for example, about 17 per cent of uranium would have been the 235 isotope. That percentage has fallen steadily since then. When the ore in Gabon was laid down some 2 billion years ago,

the concentration of uranium-235 would have been about 4 per cent, more than enough for a self-sustaining nuclear reaction.

The idea is that when a neutrons hits an atom of uranium-235, the atom splits producing two smaller nuclei and several neutrons. These neutrons go on to split other atoms in an ongoing chain reaction.

However, the liberated neutrons are high-energy particles that tend to fly away rapidly. So nuclear reactors usually contain a moderating material that slows down the neutrons so that they can interact with other uranium atoms.

It turns out that water is a reasonable neutron moderator. So an important component of this natural reactor was the presence of water seeping through the uranium ore. And this had an interesting impact on the way the reactors operated.

Nuclear scientists believe that the Oklo reactors operated in pulses. As water flowed into the rock, it moderated the neutrons, allowing a chain reaction to occur. But this increased the temperature of the rock, boiling the water into steam which escaped.

When this happened, the neutrons were no longer able to interact with and split uranium nuclei and the chain reaction stopped. The rock then cooled allowing water to flow back in.

So the Oklo reactors operated in pulses. Today, nuclear scientists have calculated that the chain reaction probably lasted for 30 minutes and then switched off for about 2.5 hours, a pulsing process that continued for about 300,000 years..

While they were on, the reactors were powerful devices. “The reactors likely operated under conditions similar to present day pressurized water reactor systems, with pressures about 150 atmospheres and temperatures of about 300 degrees C,” say Davis and co.

French nuclear scientists carried out a detailed survey of the Oklo site, discovering not just one reactor zone but up to 17 of them over an area of several tens of square kilometres. Some of these were close to the surface and so had been influenced by weathering processes, while others were at depths of up to 400 metres and were more or less pristine.

In addition to the depleted uranium-235, these zones contained numerous fission fragments such as isotopes of zirconium, yttrium, neodymium and cerium. The unusual ratios of these isotopes was an important indicator of what had gone on there almost 2 billion years earlier.

The presence of these fission by-products immediately piqued the interest of nuclear scientists, particularly in the US. Perhaps the biggest challenge facing the nuclear industry is to find a way to deal with the highly radioactive waste that reactors produce. One idea is to bury it but that raises the question of what would happen to this waste over the millions of years during which it remains toxic.

The Oklo reactors were a natural test of this question. So US scientist, in particular, began a program to measure the way in which different fission products migrated away from the reactor zones. “One of the most important, and surprising, early findings was that uranium and most of the rare earth elements did not experience significant mobilization in the past two billion years,” say Davis and co. “Because the wastes were contained successfully in Oklo, it appears not unrealistic to hope that long term disposal in specially selected and engineered geological repositories can be successful.”

This evidence has since become one of the main arguments in favour of nuclear waste repositories such as the one planned at Yucca Mountain in Nevada.

Oklo has also become the focus of physicists studying the possibility that the universe’s fundamental constants may have changed over time. The reason that Oklo may be able to help is that it stopped operating over 1.5 billion years ago. So the nuclear processes that occurred at that time must’ve been governed by the fundamental constants as they were then.

In particular, physicists are interested in the fine structure constant which determines the strength of the electromagnetic interaction. This in turn determines the way neutrons are absorbed in chain reactions and consequently the yields of different fission products.

The focus of most research has been on the amount of samarium-149 produced by these natural reactors. The data places bounds on how much the constant may have changed in the past. The consensus is that the data is consistent with the fine structure constant being actually constant although it doesn’t rule out tiny changes.

Davis and co point out that the Oklo data can also constrain changes in other constants, such as the ratio of light quark masses to the proton mass. To date, this work is consistent with these constants being constant.

The Oklo story ends with a damp squib. After a period of intense interest in the early 1970s, mining continued at Oklo and eventually all the natural reactors were mined out. The one exception was a shallow reactor zone at a place called Bangombé, some 30 kilometres from Oklo, although this has largely been washed out by ground water.

So these zones have been largely lost to science. That’s a shame. It also means that nuclear scientists are unlikely to get better data on natural nuclear reactors using the advanced techniques than those of available in the 1970s.

No other natural reactors have been discovered anywhere on Earth, making Oklo unique. At least for the moment.

Ürümqui| A group of coal miners from the western province of Xinjiang, had an unbelievable surprise when the gallery they were excavating opened up on a section of an old mine, that was abandoned 17 years ago after an earthquake that caused some large sections of the tunnels to collapse. While they were exploring the galleries, they stumbled upon Cheung Wai, a 59-year old survivor from the 1997 accident, obviously in a rather bad shape. He was immediately taken to the hospital where a complete evaluation of his physical and mental states will be done over the next weeks.

The poor man had remained trapped underground with the bodies of 78 of his dead coworkers, after an earthquake of a magnitude of 7,8 hit the region and caused the wooden support structure of the mine to crumble and collapse. Somehow lucky in his misfortune, Mr. Cheung was saved by the fact that some ventilation duct still connected his underground prison to the surface, allowing him access to air that was  sufficiently pure to keep him alive.

He managed to survive thanks to an emergency stash of rice and water, stored in an underground depot, conceived especially for this kind of case. The man complemented his diet by catching and eating the countless rats that pullulate in the mine, as well as collecting large quantities of some sort of phosphorescent moss, which constituted his only source of vitamins. Even though he was suffering from great physical and mental stress, he managed to give proper burials to all of his comrades, spending almost a year in this great selfless act.

Mining accidents remain common in China despite growing measures by the government to reduce the problem, which killed more than 4000 miners a year at the beginning of the millenium. Over the last years, the authorities have been cracking down on many unregulated mining operations, which account for almost 80 percent of the country’s 16,000 mines. The closure of about 1,000 dangerous small mines last year helped to cut in half the average number of miners killed, to about six a day, in the first months of this year, according to governmental statistics.

The case of Mr. Cheung remains unique however, and constitutes a world record, according to  the universally recognized authority on record-breaking achievement, Guinness. The former record for surviving underground was of 142 days and was held by a british man named Geoff Smith. He had been voluntarily buried in the backyard of the Railway Inn, his favorite pub, with the intention of breaking the record.

Filmed on April 18 thru May 6, 2014 from my deck in Newport Beach CA. There’s been high amounts of ufo activity! The video covers 12+ UFO captures filmed during the day and night. We highlighted the best clips from the past few weeks.

The first captures features an amazing morphing ufo that shows signs electromagnetic energy emanating from the craft at 1:08. New sightings of low flying orb crafts in my neighborhood at 3:37. I’ve never seen orbs fly this low. Night Vision ufos and fast walker orbs filmed with my Gen 3 LRS Scout at 7:42.

Also a great sighting happened at the studio while working this video! We decided to take a break from the arduous process video editing and went for a walk outside to relax. While sitting on the grass we noticed a large bright light ufo in the sky above us. It was hovering slowly and visible to the naked eye. I ran inside and grabbed the studio camera and captured a few shots of this amazing large craft. It was also my birthday and a great present!

The last capture at 12:11 shows a single orb and cluster of orbs flying in sync which are at a very low altitude just above the tree line in Newport Beach California.

The footage was captured with a Canon 7D camera and Canon Telephoto Lens EF 100-400mm, with 2 extender, and a Sony HX3-NX3 camcorder, with Gen 3 LRS Scout for Night Vision.

Chatting With The Axthandans

For many years, the website All News Web had published a fair amount of dubious articles in reference to UFOs and alien encounters. The website is still active, though the suspicious content has waned somewhat over the years. In 2009 a series of articles (no longer on the site) referenced issued warnings in regard to the ‘Axthadans’…a race related to humans that inhabits a planet within the Andromeda Galaxy. Now…I will never say that the author was not telling the truth, but tangible evidence was never provided. I always wondered if the editor of All News Webs posted the articles in ‘tongue-in-cheek’ context. Anyway…here it is for your scrutiny. If it offers some ‘comic relief,’ then so be it:

In the last few months dramatic developments have occurred in regards to human/extra-terrestrial relations and communication. Small UFO probes communicating with earthlings have been sending messages indicating that while open contact might be around the corner, if we don’t mend our ways we might find ourselves on the galactic list of extinct species.

It is now known that the civilization located in Andromeda Galaxy that is communicating with us via these UFO probes refer to themselves as ‘Axthadans’. They are at least several thousand years ahead of humanity in terms of technology. Their appearance lies somewhat between the race we refer to as ‘Greys’ and our own. This alien civilization has in fact been watching humans and even discreetly guiding them for thousands of years.

It has also now been confirmed that the Axthadans are not directly sending these probes. The probes are being sent by the race often referred to as ‘Greys’. Greys are in fact another sub-group, as we are, of the Axthadan race. The Grey’s home planet is within the Milky Way and believed to be located about 30 light years away from Earth. ‘Greys’ are a few hundred years ahead of humanity in terms of technology and have only been inducted into the wider universal community relatively recently (possibly a few hundred years ago).

The ‘Greys’, who’s real name is unknown to this author, seem to be responsible for many alleged abductions here on Earth and might have been the group associated with the Roswell event.

Unlike Greys, Axthadans are said to be rather tall. Members of this race have visited Earth on occasion but do not do so very often. The Biblical account telling of the Prophet Ezekiel’s experience with UFOs is said to recall a visit by the Axthadans.

A few meetings between Axthadans and government officials worldwide seem to have taken place.

The Greys have been generally entrusted by these other more evolved aliens with the task of helping prepare humanity for possible integration into universal culture. Many UFO researchers might query how well they are handling this task and some are suggesting that in recent years or months Axthadans have taken a more hands-on approach as a consequence.

Axthadans are currently grooming over three hundred semi-technological civilizations for induction into a universal family of civilizations. Sadly, Most of these civilizations will not make it.

The Pentagon is now in possession of extensive footage and information regarding life on their planet: Axthada. This planet has been described as being of great beauty and it’s civilization as ‘Utopian’ by earth’s standards.

It is now known that these aliens have issued earthlings with a warning: We have less than a decade to completely bring an end to all forms of warfare, racism, prejudice and economic exploitation. The Axthadans have sent messages stating that if we continue our evil ways we will destroy ourselves and this planet within fifty years.

In the event that aliens do disclose their presence to humanity and we continue to display any of these traits Planet Earth itself might have to be destroyed as a potential threat to universal harmony. In this scenario it is believed that innocent human victims of exploitation as well as other species will be resettled elsewhere.

In an ironic twist Axthadans are communicating with groups seen as perpetrators. As such immense pressure has been placed on the US administration. A decision was made to allow America’s economy to falter to allow for a redistribution of power and resources. Obviously the election of an African-American to the U.S Presidency was seen as a positive development by the Axthadans.

The question now is will this satisfy our alien custodians or will this be seen as mere window dressing? It is believed that the Axthadans mean business and will not tolerate any trace of the existing power-structure. Ego-driven and ultra-materialistic western culture seems slated for destruction.

Will Westerners adapt to a new reality where previously trodden on groups such as indigenous populations of countries like the US and Australia will perhaps be given leadership roles? Extraterrestrials have noted that the manner in which such groups were able to live for thousands of years in harmony with their environment translates into a safer, more peaceful universal existence. Western values of devour and destroy in an orgy of selfishness for the sole benefit of personal gain are said to be of immense concern to aliens.

It is this author’s belief that the recent Chinese UFO event that took place during the solar eclipse involved a ‘manned’ Axthadan craft. This almost irrefutable sighting is being hailed by Chinese researchers as one of the most compelling ever. Does this brazen example of aliens deliberately exposing their own presence at a time when many looked skyward signal something? Are aliens looking to China to lead humanity towards its destiny? I have received a number of emails from well-known researchers and cover-up insiders noting that the US is indeed worried over alien interest in China and its more communitarian values. Curiously the Chinese eclipse UFO event has been totally ignored by Western nations, possibly not willing to admit its implications.

Does free-wheeling highly individualistic capitalism have a cosmic future or is it simply untenable and even dangerous when imposed on a much more complex paradigm: such as a universe?

It should be noted at this point that the author is not unaware of the massive advances capitalism has brought humanity, nor is this an op-ed piece for socialism; merely a summary of what appear to be the known issues facing civilizations that join a galactic or universal family of races. The ‘Cosmic Capitalism’ doctrine studied by NASA scientists and others suggests that self-interest is imprinted into all living things as a result of evolution. However as one goes up the food chain this self-interest, responsible as it is for so much progress, becomes more potentially dangerous and thus it becomes more important to balance this tendency with social restraints.

On a Galactic level this becomes a matter of the very survival of the universe: Hence not all races make the grade and are inducted to a wider family of civilizations.

We realise that many readers will find this information hard to believe, however for those who work on these issues on a daily basis it is all too real. Our sources are such individuals and we can reveal they are not just speaking to All News Web. Other publications have also been contacted.

UFO Messages: Image of an Axthadan Revealed

When I decided to really get to the bottom of the UFO issue I never thought I would get as far as I did. The concept of creating a news site almost entirely devoted to the topic has truly paid off. It has meant that we have received hundreds of leads, many from those within the cover-up and many from those with close links to people working on secret government projects.
Information is not easy to come by and, sadly, governments studying this phenomena and even communicating with aliens take this topic’s secrecy very seriously. All News Web has pushed the envelope in this respect.

UFO caught on security camera in Puerto Rico

A man taking his dog for a walk noticed a strange light in the sky, which luckily was captured on video by a security camera.

This UFO sighting was sent to us by PuertoRicoUFOs.com, and includes the witness testimony and security camera footage (seen above).

According to PuertoRicoUFOs.com, the witness says,

On May 5, 2014, approx. 19:39 pm, I was walking my dog ​​in the garden when I noticed a distance of a bright object in the sky just above the town of Fajardo, Puerto Rico. The object appeared from nowhere rose about 200 meters and remained at that point for about 5 seconds and then shot down at 60 degree angle. The object disappeared when entering a dark area. I also noticed in the sky was a dark cloud with lights going on and turning off near where the object disappeared.

The video corroborates what the witness saw. It shows a point of light enter from the upper left side of the screen heading upward. It almost looks like a shooting star going up instead of down. The object then stops before quickly heading back the way it came.

The movement is strange for a plane or a helicopter, but not impossible for either aircraft. A remote controlled drone could definitely move as quickly and nimbly as the object in the video. As PuertoRicoUFOs.com points out, “Either way, it is clear that the camera captured an object under intelligent control in the night sky.”

ALIEN CLOSE ENCOUNTER IN ROCKVILLE VIRGINIA

MAY 11, 1969      ROCKVILLE VIRGINIA

20-year old Mike Luczkowich, a student at Manakin, Virginia, was returning home after a date with his girlfriend. Just as he passed the Rockville General Store, Mike noticed something about 50 yards ahead of his car. At first he thought it might be a couple of deer, but he soon realized that he was observing two figures about three and a half to four feet tall. The creatures were wearing spherical helmets that looked as large as basketballs. Circling each helmet was a pale green band that reflected the headlights of the vehicle. The beings were motionless at first, but they soon scurried off and ran up an embankment to the left of the witness. The first two creatures had barely disappeared when a third small creature appeared from the right side of the road and quickly joined the others by  climbing over the embankment.  Luczkowich reported that the little men were dressed in light-brown coveralls that were somewhat baggy in the legs but were tight-fitting at the ankles. He did not see any arms, and he could not detect features behind the over-sized helmets. The student was shaken by the experience, and he did not tell anyone of the encounter until Sunday. 

On Monday, Luczkowich and three other men returned to the site. They were able to locate a definite trail through the poison ivy and honeysuckle on the embankment the three beings had scaled. Beyond the embankment they found a barley field with a path through it, such as the three humanoids might have made. After a few feet they noticed two flattened areas, where small entities might have thrown themselves down in the grain field. The crushed barley at one of the impressions, according to Luczkowich showed the imprint of two small bodies, while another impression outlined one small body. About a half mile west of the area, and about two hours earlier 18-year old Debbie Payne had reported seeing an oval-shaped luminous object over her house as she arrived home from a date. The object appeared rather bright, then dimmed and became bright twice more before she and her date reached the house.

500-Year-Old Vampire Grave Unearthed in Polish Marketplace

Archaeologists have discovered the grave of a suspected vampire in Kamien Pomorski, northwestern Poland.

The body, which dates back to the 16th century, was unearthed during a dig in a marketplace in the town, situated in the West Pomeranian Province.

As reported in Kamienskie.info, the team found unusual features which indicated the burial site was vampiric.

The teeth, or “fangs” had been removed and a fragment of rock had been inserted into the mouth. In addition, his leg had been staked in order to prevent the body from rising from its grave.

Slawomir Gorka, who led the dig, said: “A piece of brick rubble in the mouth and pierced thigh indicates that it is a vampire burial. This was done not for him, but for the community, who lived here.”

Gorka added that the same rituals were common in burials in the Kamien Pomorski area between the 13th and 17th centuries. The body was buried in the cemetery next to the town church.

“We have to understand that the cemetery existed from the thirteenth to the eighteenth century, but not in every period. The body was buried when the cemetery no longer existed, towards the side of what is now the cemetery,” he said.

“Initially we thought he had suffered a leg wound, but from sifting through the earth underneath, we realised there was a hole likely made from a puncture.”

Last July, archaeologists in Poland believed they had discovered a vampire grave on a construction site in the south of the country. Seven bodies, with their heads removed and placed on their legs, were found near the town of Gliwice.

Experts estimated the bones to date back to the 16th century, but the absense of personal effects such as jewellery made it difficult to pinpoint the exact age of the skeletons.

“We found absolutely nothing on the skeletons, so it is difficult to say what period the skeletons are from. This is a special case, ” archaeologist Dr Jacek Pierzak told the Dziennik Zachodni newspaper.

The origin of the vampire legend dates back to ancient Greece and Egypt. Dr Tim Beasley-Murray, a lecturer in Slavonic studies at UCL, told the Guardian that the myth spread up through the Balkans into eastern Europe where it was fertile in the pre-Christian era.

“There is a strong Slavic belief in spirits. Romanian folklore has vampiric figures such as the moroi and strigoi. The word ‘mora’ means nightmare. But these are common to many cultures. We often see bird or owl-like figures that swoop and feed on you.” –

Creepy Childhood Experience

I want to tell you about a creepy experience I had when I was about five/six, mostly to see if anyone else has had a similar experience. On my mother’s side, we’re a very spiritual family – we visit a lot of spiritual churches and psychic ‘markets’/shows. I have aunts who are psychics (as in, it’s their job) and I’ve worked with them, as the ticket girl, when I was about fourteen. So fyi, the supernatural is something pretty ingrained in me. I didn’t really fully understand any of this or get involved until I was a lot older though.

I remember this incident vividly because it was so notable. It wasn’t until I was in my early teens that I realised how freaky it was.

On Easter morning when I was about five/six, I woke up early, before my parents were awake. I had one of those bunk beds with a little sofa underneath, if you know what I mean, and lay in bed for a bit, wondering whether or not the ‘Easter Bunny’ had arrived and whether or not it was ok for me to get up. I’m not sure what I decided, but I turned to my right. At this point, I was facing the door.

I can’t really explain the landing of my house because I haven’t lived there for twelve years now. The staircase was at the very centre and there were rooms going around it. Mine and my parents rooms were at each side of the staircase, mine being at the front of the house on the right.

My door was open on this occasion, and I suddenly spotted something. Basically this tall, humanoid creature was stood outside my bedroom backed against banister of the stairs so that I could view about half of its profile. It seemed to be peering in. Not really going anywhere, just watching me. I can’t really describe it either. As weird as it sounds, almost like The Silence in Doctor Who. Very human, I remember it being in clothes, but with a very surreal, creepy face.

I watched it for what seemed like forever, and it watched me back. I wasn’t scared, strangely enough, even though I was the kind of kid who was scared of everything. I used to chant ‘no one’s there, no one’s there’ to myself whenever I felt something was ‘coming to get me’ which happened several times a day in the house we lived in prior to this one. I remember wanting to turn around and to sleep, but I had a feeling if I turned away it would come into the room, a concept that didn’t frighten me exactly, I just didn’t want that to happen. Some people have suggested sleep paralysis when I’ve told them this story, but I remember being able to move.

This went on for a while, until my dad came out of his bedroom. It completely disappeared then, and as my dad came into view he was looking down the stairs, startled, as if he’d heard a noise or a disturbance. I asked him if he had seen anything and he said he hadn’t. By the time I went downstairs, I had convinced myself I had seen the Easter Bunny, and the creature must have looked so weird because he had a rabbit’s head. I think this was all just wishful thinking though, because I wanted to believe in The Easter Bunny, Santa, the Tooth Fairy, etc…

I realised a lot later that… hang on, the Easter Bunny doesn’t exist. And it slowly dawned on me that I might have seen something. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened since, though.

A crop circle researcher found floating off the coast of Portsmouth and the rapid decline of a UFO expert who believed he had found an alien skull, are the latest in what some UFO researchers claimis a ‘pattern’ of suspicious deaths of researchers into extraterrestrial sightings, stretching back to as early as 1947.
A plane supposedly shot down by the U.S. military is believed to have been carrying fragments of a flying saucer, while the death of first U.S. Secretary of
Defense, James Forrestal, is believed to be UFO related. Some believe that victims number in their dozens.

“This is a difficult matter to engage as it is impossible to prove individual events. What I am doing is raising concern over a death clusters which stands out from the background noise. This is risky as family members could be offended. I never say with certainty that a particular case is a murder. And I wouldn't go there at all if it wasn't the only option to perhaps prevent further such deaths - publicity.”

The theory that the American government, or other unknown forces, have been murdering UFO researchers is not new, Watson says - with some claiming that suspicious deaths began as early as 1947, and that the death toll is several dozen or even more.

“As long ago as 1971, researcher Otto Binder claimed that at least 137 UFO investigators had died under mysterious circumstances during the 1960s,”

Watson says. “A 30-year-long study by UFO researcher Timothy Hood has also revealed that since the 1970s there are numerous cases of UFO researchers and investigators who have been murdered, suffered a sudden death or been the victims of suspicious ‘suicides’ or inconclusive natural causes.”

The pattern of suspicious deaths hit the headlines again this year as activist Steve Bassett spoke on the subject on national radio show C2C in America. A new book, Close Encounters of the Fatal Kind by Nick Redfern, is due out this summer.

“Recent cases include, 44-year-old Paul Vigay, who was a leading crop circle researcher who had worked on Mel Gibson’s film Signs. He was found floating off the coast of Portsmouth, Hants., in February 2009,” says Nigel Watson, author of The Haynes UFO Investigations Manual.

Watson says that while many UFO researchers believe the killings to be the work of government agents, some believe that the killings may be the work of aliens themselves, to cover up their presence on our planet.

“Many of these cases could be coincidences or people trying to make something out of nothing - but there are certainly some strange incidents,” Watson says. “UFO researcher Philip Schneider’s became increasingly fearful for his personal safety; ‘government vans’ followed him and several attempts were made to run his car off the road. Eventually, his worst fears were confirmed in January 1996. A friend broke into his apartment in Willsonville, Oregon, where his dead body had been rotting for several days. At first, it was thought he had died from a stroke, and then an autopsy found that rubber tubing had been wrapped and knotted around his neck.”

have died in strange ways and circumstances since the 1950s. Prominent activist Stephen Bassett, supports the idea that the U.S. government has regularly murdered innocent citizens who have tried probing into UFO cases like Roswell or who have tried to get the Government to reveal the truth about UFOs.”

Steve Bassett, who won Researcher of the Year at this year’s International UFO Conference, discussed a mysterious “cluster” of deaths that he believes may be related to government agents targeting researchers from the UFO community.

Bassett says, “What we are looking for are death clusters which by their nature and proximity sit out from the background noise. I try to be careful with my language in order to minimize upset with family members. There are a number of death clusters relating to various issues over the past 20 years. If government connected, not good. Not good at all.”

The earliest reported “death” occurred in 1947, Watson says, and elements of the story are still unexplained.

“As they were returning to their base at Hamilton Field, California, the port engine of their
B-25 aircraft caught fire and they were killed when he crashed near Kelso, Washington State. An anonymous caller to the local newspaper, named the victims before the crash was made public and claimed the aircraft was shot down by a 20mm cannon because it was carrying fragments of a flying saucer.” 

 When Kenneth Arnold took off from Tacoma, his engine failed and he had to make a crash
landing. On checking his aircraft, he found that his fuel valve had been switched off. Paul Lance, a reporter for the Tacoma Times, who covered this story, died suddenly two weeks later of meningitis.” 

 “Ufologists today now think this was an elaborate hoax that got out of hand, and could have been instigated by a US intelligence agency to discredit Kenneth Arnold’s original sighting.”

Watson says that if one delves deeper, the theories grow increasingly outlandish. 

“Furthermore, according to UFO conspiracy theory, the CIA killed President Kennedy because he wanted to share UFO secrets with the Soviet Union,” Watson says, “In addition,
Marilyn Monroe was allegedly murdered because she was speaking too freely about UFOs. The night before her death she had spoken to the TV celebrity columnist Dorothy Kilgallen about the Roswell saucer crash of 1947. Kilgallen subsequently died under mysterious circumstances on 8 November 1965. This shows how these various deaths can be woven together to support the idea that the truth about UFOs and alien visitations is being suppressed and discredited,” Watson says.

While the rumours remain a constant “hot topic” within the UFO researcher community, Watson says, ““Many of these stories sound outlandish and many of these deaths do have credible explanations. So they don’t go much beyond the UFO community. Government agencies could be at work but it seems very extreme to murder people, especially over decades, when there are easier ways to discredit UFO researchers."

Is there life out there? Are there other planets with intelligent beings? Or is Earth the only one? Science fiction stories are full of aliens, from Mister Spock to Yoda, but is there any real chance that anything even vaguely like these dreams could be real? The scientific facts of the matter are surprisingly optimistic.

Here on Earth, our bodies can function due to the laws of physics and chemistry. Our cells are made of atoms, mostly carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and phosphorus. Astronomers have discovered that when we point our telescopes out across the universe, we find these atoms everywhere. The stars are made of exactly the same types of atoms that we have here on Earth. When we study the most distant galaxies, billions of light years away from us, we find that these galaxies have the same laws of gravity, heat, light and energy that exist everywhere. The laws of physics and chemistry that allow our cells to work are the same throughout the universe.

And our universe is big: Our sun is just one star among several hundred billion other stars in our Milky Way galaxy. Our sun is a completely typical, average, ordinary yellow star. There are billions of other stars in the Milky Way that are absolutely identical to our sun, made of the same mix of atoms, varying only slightly in mass, size and temperature. Recent data from NASA’s Kepler space telescope tells us that most stars in our galaxy have planets, and that about 17 percent of stars have Earth-sized planets.

And our Milky Way galaxy is not alone. With current technology, we can see about several hundred billion other galaxies out there in the universe, and each galaxy contains an average of several hundred billion stars. So how many stars, how many suns, are out there in total? When we multiply several hundred billion stars per galaxy times several hundred billion galaxies visible, we get the following number: 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars. That number is enormous. It’s insanely big. It is far larger than the number of grains of sand on all the beaches on the face of the Earth. And every single one of those stars is a sun, probably with its own solar system of planets.

When we look at our neighboring planets, Mars, Venus and Mercury, we find that they are very different from the Earth, and very hostile to life. Here on Earth we have vast oceans of water, protected by a thick atmosphere, all held at a nice range of temperatures, which allows life to flourish.

The evidence of our neighbors tells us that most planets are probably not places where life could form. The Earth is probably rare. Perhaps only one Earth-sized planet in a thousand has an atmosphere and oceans like ours. Or could it be only one in a million? Or one in a billion? Our universe is so vast, with so many stars out there, so many places where life could have formed, that it overwhelms reasonable skepticism. Even if only one star in a TRILLION has an Earth-like planet with an atmosphere and oceans, that would still leave us with a hundred billion such worlds out there where life could form.

It is certainly possible that life is so rare in our universe, so distant, that our telescopes will not be able to find it in the foreseeable future. But there must be life out there somewhere. How could there NOT be life out there? How could we have a universe so large, with so many stars, where life formed only once?

Are we alone? Don’t bet on it.

Jim Montanus stood on a dock at Braddock Bay Marina Wednesday night making long-exposure photographs of a clear dark-blue sky set with twinkling stars being overrun from
the west by a dense mass of clouds.

"It was a very dramatic situation with that front coming in. I was all excited about the photo," said Montanus, an experienced photographer now trying to make a living with his
cameras.

When he checked the preview window on his digital SLR to see how the images looked, he was stunned to see something that hadn't been visible to the naked eye: Two orange objects, shaped like an inverted cone or, if you prefer, a disk with a conical.

"I was looking at these shapes on the back of my cameras and saying what IS it? I don't believe in UFOs, but, you know, it's just one of those things. It was just cool."

Montanus, who lives in Greece, was standing on a dock that juts out into the bay toward the northwest, and the objects were in that direction. The frames in which they appear were recorded at 9:34 pm, he said.

He was shooting 15-second exposures, so his camera recorded images that weren't easily seen unaided and Montanus thus wasn't able to detect whether the objects were moving. But at least one of them showed up in different places in several different frames, suggesting movement.

He pulled magnified images from two different frames and superimposed them on one of the shots, and posted the image Thursday morning on Facebook and Twitter, where they are drawing drawing considerable attention.

Most people who have posted their thoughts about the images think they depict meteors. Montanus, though, isn't convinced. "It didn't look like a meteor to me. How a meteor would show up on the camera would be like a stream of light. These were weird, bizarre shapes. I said 'Look at it, it's got a parachute or something on it.' If anything looked like a UFO, it would be that."

Montanus does not think the objects were an artifact created by his camera or lengthy exposure, though he still researching that possibility.

The Democrat and Chronicle has done some fact-checking as well, with no explanation found yet.

The Monroe County 911 emergency communication center said it had no calls about lights in the sky Wednesday night. The National Weather Service in Buffalo also said it had no record of calls about the aerial phenomenon.
It is true there has been plenty of meteor activity lately, including one that was seen Sunday by people in the Toronto area. A known shower, the Eta Aquarid, was taking place Wednesday, but in the pre-dawn hours, not just after sunset. And as of 11:30 am Thursday, the American Meteor Society website has no reports of sighting in this part of the country.

As Montanus noted, both the U.S. and Canadian military engage in training in restricted airspace over Lake Ontario. At times they drop flares, which lakeshore residents sometimes spot from afar. But officials at the Federal Aviation Administration Cleveland air traffic control center who are notified when the U.S. military is planning to use the restricted airspace over Lake Ontario said their log showed no activity Wednesday night.
The U.S. Coast Guard in Buffalo said that agency was neither training not engaged in any activity Wednesday night that could account for the images Montanus recorded.

Officials with the Canadian air traffic control agency did not respond to a question as to whether the military there might have been responsible for the lights. But as the day wore on Thursday, various other parties came forward with more possible explanations.
Lens glare related to the lights on the dock where Montanus stood or some other source, several people said. Chinese lanterns, those paper globes light by candles that rise and float through the air. Light reflecting off a passing airplane or satellite. Light from the surface refracting through the atmosphere.

The objects did NOT show up on the websites of the Mutual UFO Network or UFO Stalker, which might be just as well.

With his father, Neil, who was a renowned photographer for Eastman Kodak Co., Jim Montanus has set up Montanus Photography, filled with high-quality images, and as he told the Democrat and Chronicle for a story published last month, he is thinking about opening a studio to display his work.

But he never expected to add a photograph of strange lights in the sky to his portfolio. "I was really freaking out when I took it," he said. "I've never seen anything like it."

MH370: Radar Detected UFO Before Jet Goes Missing; Malaysian Air Force Head Reportedly Confirms Sightings

The search for the ill-fated Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 continues, but to no avail, mysteries still hover over the disappearance of the jet-passenger along with the 239 people on board. More than a month since it vanished, a new theory has emerged that would surely trigger debates about the existence of unidentified flying objects.

Reason.com conducted a poll in the United States and found out that five percent of their respondents believed Flight 370 was abducted by aliens. Several bloggers also indicated a number of UFO sightings around Malaysia before the plane's disappearance.

Alexandra Bruce provided vital information on Forbidden Knowledge TV that would back up the alien abduction theory. According to her report, there were two 'distinct anomalies' spotted on the radar (Flight Radar 24) before it went missing.

"Seeing the radar playback of the moments leading up to the plane's disappearance, one may forgive Malaysia Airlines for not being more forward, in this case - because the radar playback is not only baffling, it shows two distinct anomalies, as pointed out by Intrepid citizen-reporter and YouTube popstar, DAHBOO7.

The radar playback depicts dozens of planes in flight over the region at the time. The first peculiarity is seen in the lower left of the screen. A round object appears in the vicinity of Flight 370 (and amid several others), which the radar does not automatically "read" as airplane. Suddenly, this round object take the form of a "plane" on the radar screen and accelerates at a rate of speed that must be at least five times the speed of the surrounding planes, heading eastward, over the South China Sea - and just as suddenly the object stops and appears to hover in place."

UFO blogger also documented a confirmation by Malaysian air force chief Rodzali Daud that military radar received signal from an unidentified flying objects near the location where MH370 reportedly vanished.  

"Malaysia's air force chief, Rodzali Daud, said military radar detected an UFO in an area in the northern Malacca Strait at 2:15 a.m. local time on Saturday about an hour after the plane vanished from air traffic control screens," UFO blogger reported.

Search and recovery operation has been ongoing for more than a month, but the mission hasn't gained a significant breakthrough up to now.

Rather than being a missing link between man and the apes, Bigfoot may possibly be an alien entity. This intriguing possibility is derived from evidence in several solid UFO cases.

The earliest clues date back to 1888, when a cattleman described an encounter with friendly Indians in Humboldt County, California. They led him to a cave where he saw a hefty humanoid creature covered in long, shiny black hair, with no neck, sitting cross-legged.

One Indian told him three of these “Crazy Bears” had been cast out of a small moon that dropped from the sky and landed.The “moon” then ascended back into the air. So it’s highly likely the “Crazy Bears” were really Bigfoots, and the “moon,” a spacecraft.

Now fast-forward almost 100 years to 1973… and Mrs. Reafa Heitfield. She and her 13-year-old son were sleeping in a trailer in Cincinnati, Ohio on the morning of October 21. Reafa arose at 2:30 a.m. to quench her thirst, and noticed strange lights in the adjoining parking lot. Looking out the window, her attention was drawn, in particular, to an inexplicable cone of light, shaped like a huge bubble umbrella — about seven feet in diameter.

Nearby she spotted a grayish, ape-like creature with a large, downward angled snout, no neck and a sizable waist. Moving slowly, it then entered into the light. About five minutes later, both apeman and UFO disappeared.

Another dramatic incident occurred a few days later on October 25, 1973. A group of farmers in Fayette County, Pennsylvania caught sight of a dome-shaped UFO that was brightly lit and about 100 feet in diameter. As the locals drove toward it, they saw a pair of gargantuan creatures covered with thick, matted hair, luminescent green eyes and long arms that dangled below their knees.

A farmer’s son fired a gun shot at the creatures, one of which raised its right hand in the air. At that very moment, the UFO disappeared. Then, the two Bigfoots escaped into the woods and were never seen again.

Dairy farmer William Bosak of Frederic, Wisconsin was returning from a co-op meeting about 10:30 p.m. on December 9, 1974, when he nearly slammed into a globular UFO on the road in front of him, its bottom half enshrouded in fog.

Inside the visible transparent dome was a six-foot-tall ape-like creature with reddish-brown fur covering its body (except for the face) and distinctive pointed ears. It appeared to be operating a control panel. As Bosak passed by, the object suddenly arose and disappeared.

In August,1976, after a series of UFO sightings around Rutland, British Columbia, Canada, several men and their children saw a hairy ape-like entity, six to seven feet tall roaming about a mountainside. They also found a clump of hair that was sent to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for identification. Laboratory analysis confirmed it was primate hair, but, significantly, it could not be matched to any known species on earth!

Perhaps the Bigfoot creatures are UFO pilots, landing on earth for exploratory purposes. Or, conceivably, higher level ETs are leaving behind some specimens as “guinea pigs” to test our environment for long-term survival. Or, possibly,these Bigfoots are criminal entities being deposited on Earth as a form of cosmic deportation!
