Area 51-wetenschapper claimt op sterfbed dat buitenaardsen bestaan: “Vriendelijk en lange vingers”
Een wetenschapper heeft vlak voor zijn dood een video opgenomen waarin hij beweert dat hij weet wat er werkelijk gebeurt in Area 51, de mysterieuze legerbasis in Nevada. Dat meldt de Britse krant Metro.
Hij voegt toe dat hij voor defensiefirma Lockheed Martin reverse engineering toepaste op de technologie van vliegende schotels. Boyd Bushman deed zijn uitspraken in een video die hij vlak voor zijn dood – in augustus – heeft opgenomen. In de video laat hij foto’s van buitenaardsen zien die met wegwerpcamera’s op Amerikaanse legerbases zouden zijn gemaakt.
Bushman was als onderzoeksingenieur werkzaam voor Lockheed Martin en heeft een aantal patenten op zijn naam staan. In de video, die op 7 augustus jongstleden is gemaakt, zegt hij over de buitenaardse schepen: “Amerikaanse burgers werken er 24 uur per dag aan. We proberen te begrijpen wat we ermee kunnen doen.”
Het is niet de eerste keer dat iemand van deze defensiefirma heeft beweerd dat Lockheed Martin onderzoek doet naar de geheimen van buitenaardse vaartuigen. Ben Rich, een oud-directeur van Lockheed en de ‘vader van stealth’, zei: “We kunnen al naar de sterren reizen, maar deze technologieën zitten opgesloten in black projects en er is een daad van God nodig om ze ooit beschikbaar te kunnen maken voor het publiek. Alles wat je je kunt voorstellen hebben wij al gedaan.”
Bushman beweert dat er twee groepen buitenaardsen worden bestudeerd in Area 51 en andere installaties. De buitenaardsen hebben lange vingers en wonen op een planeet die ze Quintumnia noemen, aldus Bushmann.

Every student of the history of UFOs knows of the phenomenon seen during WWII and known as foo-fighters, kraut fireballs or a variety of other names. Basically they were balls of light which followed and hovered around `planes of all nationalities both in daylight and after dark. Foo-fighter research shows the genesis of the modern UFO age and during my research I came across the old chestnut of the dreaded government “cover-ups”.For many ufologists WWII is the time when the cover-up really began and there are intimations in many writers’ books (Keel, Fawcett, Good for example) that both the US and UK governments were involved in separate studies of the foo-fighter phenomenon.These subjects are several articles long in themselves and we won’t go into them here, but for the record so far there is no documentary evidence of a cover-up of WWII UFO sightings, or even much interest on any government’s part.No, what we are trying to get to here are the facts surrounding one particular case of a WWII foo-fighter sighting, the cover-up implications and how ufology has dealt with it. So, as the walls melt and voices become fuzzy, let me take you back, back, back … OK, it’s October 14th 1943 and you’re a bomb aimer in a B-17 going in amongst the flak for the final run over the ball-bearing factories at Schweinfurt in Germany, a trouser filling experience which us young folk can’t even begin to imagine, but for this particular bomber wave they had more than flak to contend with. According to Martin Caidin who wrote Black Thursday(1960) which deals exclusively with the Shweinfurt raid:”During the bomb run of several groups, starting at about the time the Fortresses approached the Initial Point, there occurred one of the most baffling incidents of World War II, and an enigma that to this day defies all explanation.” “As the bombers of the 384th Group swung into the final bomb run after passing the Initial Point, the fighter attacks fell off. This point is vital, and pilots were queried extensively, as were other crew members, as to the position at that time of the German fighter planes. Every man interrogated was firm in his statement that “at the time there were no enemy aircraft above.””At this moment the pilots and top turret gunners, as well as several crewmen in the Plexiglas noses of the bombers, reported a cluster of discs in the path of the 384th’s formation and closing with the bombers. The startled exclamations focused attention on the phenomenon and the crews talked back and forth, discussing and confirming the astonishing sight before them.””The discs in the cluster were agreed upon as being silver colored, about one inch thick and three inches in diameter. They were easily seen by the B-17 crewmen, gliding down slowly in a very uniform cluster.” “And then the `impossible’ happened. B-17 Number 026 closed rapidly with a number of discs; the pilot attempted to evade an imminent collision with the objects, but was unsuccessful in his maneuver. He reported at the intelligence debriefing that his right wing “went directly through a cluster with absolutely no effect on engines or plane surface.” “The intelligence officers pressed their questioning, and the pilot stated further that one of the discs was heard to strike the tail assembly of his B-17, but that neither he nor any member of the crew heard or witnessed an explosion.” “He further explained that about twenty feet from the discs the pilots sighted a mass of black debris of varying sizes of clusters of three by four feet.” “The SECRET report added: `Also observed two other A/C flying through silver discs with no apparent damage. Observed discs and debris two other times but could not determine where it came from.’” “No further information on this baffling incident has been uncovered, with the exception that such discs were observed by pilots and crew on missions prior to, and after, Mission 115 of October 14, 1943.”
In 1989, Bob Lazar came forward to assert that he had worked on reverse-engineering alien technology at a secret facility in Nevada called S-4 that was built into a mountainside just south of Area 51’s main site. The world was introduced to Area 51, and to Bob Lazar, by KLAS investigative reporter George Knapp who interviewed Lazar about his claims.

Now, twenty-five years later, both Knapp and Lazar will be reuniting for a special appearance at the world’s largest annual UFO conference–the International UFO Congress.
The assertions made by Lazar are well-known staples in UFO lore, and they served as a catalyst for Area 51’s rise to pop culture prominence. He alleges that he was expelled from working at Area 51 after it was discovered that he had told friends where they could watch test flights of the advanced extraterrestrial technology on which he was working.
Although many believe Lazar’s assertions, critics dismiss his claims, citing the lack of supporting evidence, including the absence of employment and education records. But Lazar, who asserts the government erased his records, stands by his claims.
Knapp and Lazar reunited in May 2014 on the twenty-fifth anniversary of their first interview. Lazar’s story remains the same now as it was when he told it twenty-five years ago. Although he has his critics, Lazar recently told Knapp that he really doesn’t care if anyone believe him or not. He is not trying to convince anyone, and he has tried to leave UFOs in his past.
In their recent interview, Lazar, who currently runs a scientific equipment and supply store in Michigan with his wife called United Nuclear, explains to Knapp, “This is not a business of mine. I am trying to run a scientific business, and if I’m the UFO guy, it makes it really difficult, it is to my benefit that people don’t believe the story.”
Although he has largely avoided speaking about his Area 51 experiences in public, both Lazar and Knapp will appear at the International UFO Congress in Fountain Hills, Arizona on Saturday February 21. Knapp will present a lecture, followed by an hour-long question-and-answer session with Lazar.
A senior scientist at Lockheed Martin says there are aliens and UFOs at Area 51, and he has the pictures to prove it. However, serious doubt has been cast on the alleged alien in pictures.

Boyd Bushman worked as an engineer for over forty years, and before retirement, worked as a senior scientist for Lockheed Martin. Over the years he has done several interviews about his interest in antigravity technology, and has increasingly alluded to having secret knowledge about UFOs. His latest interview (seen above) was purportedly conducted just before his death on August 7, 2014. It was posted on YouTube on October 8.
I have been following Bushman for several years, my curiosity about Bushman was piqued in 1999 when he appeared on a Discovery Channel documentary about secret aircraft technology hosted by Nick Cook, author and writer for Jane’s Defense. My interest increased when I received an alleged polygraph test taken by Bushman in which he admitted to having worked with alien technology at Area 51.
Cook’s documentary was titled Billion Dollar Secret, and was an investigation of black projects. Towards the end he speculates about antigravity, but said he could find not find any defense companies claiming to be working on it. However, there was one engineer willing to talk to him about antigravity technology. That was Bushman. In the documentary, Cook says of Bushman: “In the quest for breakthroughs in aircraft propulsion, it was Bushman’s job to look beyond the frontiers of what is known and understood.”
Bushman is vague in the interview. Cook speculated, “I felt he was trying to tell me something he was not supposed to talk about.”
Eventually, Bushman talks about his personal interest in antigravity, and in particular the work of Canadian researcher John Hutchinson. He even showed Cook video of what he believed to be antigravity technology at work.
Cook said, “I was astounded that someone of Bushman’s standing should seriously discuss the notion of antigravity with me.”
I found the documentary fascinating. I never forgot Bushman’s comments, but I heard nothing more about him for several years. Then, in 2007, he showed up in a somewhat obscure documentary by David Sereda titled From Here to Andromeda. In it, Bushman discusses more of his ideas about UFOs and antigravity.
Bushman talks about his antigravity experiments and he refers to Bob Lazar, the original Area 51 whistleblower who claims to have worked on a project back engineering alien spacecraft. Bushman says he received Lazar’s tapes from the “white world,” so he can share them. He doesn’t go into any more detail.
Lazar’s interviews, and a video he made outlining the technology he worked on, can be found on YouTube. So Bushman does not allude to having any inside information. He also says many UFOs were actually high tech secret aircraft. However, towards the end of the interview he claims to know a jet fighter pilot that claims to have been the person who shot down the Roswell spacecraft. He says this person saw the dead aliens and walked into the spaceship.
In early 2008, Bushman’s name came up in conversation with a UFO researcher I was working with. She said she knew him and that he had recently taken a polygraph test in which he admitted to have worked with antigravity at Area 51, had worked on alien technologies, had examined an alien spacecraft, and had even touched an alien life form
She forwarded me an email she had received from Bushman withthe polygraph results, and said it was OK for me to contact him and ask if I could share it. I sent him an email, explaining that I had seen his interviews and that I had received a copy of his polygraph test. I explained that I was working with MUFON, at the time, and that I would like to work with him to present more this information in a manner he found suitable. His response was, “WHEN AND CONSULTING FEE?”
I replied that I was planning on sharing the interview via YouTube for free, but if he let me know what he needed I could see if I could work it out. There was no response. I then emailed him the polygraph test, and asked if it was real. I figured if nothing else, he could hopefully verify that. Again, there was no response.
Since I had not received permission, nor had I verified whether or not it was real, I never posted the polygraph test. I had sent it to researchers I trusted for their opinions, and asked them not to share it until I received permission. Although we have discussed it periodically over the years, none of us have shared it yet. However, now that he has passed, and he has done this new interview, I will post the polygraph at the end of this story in its entirety.
I believe the person who sent me the polygraph test to be a trust worthy person. I believe she really did receive it from Bushman. Whether or not it is real, I cannot say. The claims in the polygraph test are startling. However, as Bushman revealed more information over the years, the information did not remain consistent.
That bring us to the most recent video (seen above). In this new video, which is being called his last, his story is a bit different than what is in the polygraph test. In the video, he does not claim to have direct contact with the alleged alien related projects, but instead he says he is working with a team.
Bushman says he is in “contact directly or indirectly with Teller and his group running Area 51 and the equivalent.” Another vague statement which does not admit to being in direct contact, and it also suggest that some of this alleged work is in a facility “equivalent” to Area 51.
Either way, Bushman presents UFO photos he has received, some of which are ships that are purportedly very near the photographer, but are difficult to make out. He shows a picture of an out of focus light that he says is what the craft look like when they “power up.”

Bushman says, “I asked them to tell me about who is flying these things, and they said ‘Fine.’” He then presents a series of photographs of an alleged alien being. It looks like what one would expect an alien to look like, with a big head and big eyes. He says they have five fingers, five toes, two eyes, and webbed feet.
He explained, “They are approximately five feet, four and a half to five feet tall. They had one or two of them that were around that were 230 years old. And we have a total of at least 18 that exist and operate in our facility as Teller set it up.”

However, there is a problem with the pictures that was actually identified years ago. These pictures were first posted by Hutchinson, the antigravity researcher in Canada that Bushman referred to in the Cook interview. Hutchinson posted them in 2008 (seen in the video below), and says he received them anonymously by a man he believed to be in the CIA.
Quickly, several people identified the images as looking like an alien doll that was sold at Kmart. Many of these people have posted their pictures online. It does look like the same alien.
At least a couple people have suggested that perhaps the government made a doll to sell in Kmart that looked exactly like the real alien in order to shed doubt. A bit of a stretch. Others still insist that although the doll looks very similar, it is not exact, and so the alien in the picture may still be real. Take a look and see what you think.

The other problem is that these pictures supposedly came from Bushman’s insiders, but they actually came from Hutchinson. Hutchinson is by no means an insider, and the alien in the pictures actually turning out to be a doll sold at Kmart further emphasizes that point.
Bushman goes on to reveal more information about the aliens. He says there are two groups. One he likens to cattle wrestlers, and the other cattle rustlers. The prior are good and get along with humans, the later are no good.
He even shows a picture of what he believes to be an alien ghost. Supposedly one of the aliens died, and the man who told him this story took a picture of himself in which the alien spirit appeared.

Bushman goes on to tell the story of his friend who shot down an alien craft and stepped inside, but he says more often than not, working with alien technology is dangerous for humans. Bushman says 39 people have lost their lives trying to reverse engineer UFOs. 19 of those was during a test of the technology a year and a half ago. Although, he is a little bit vague about the details. He says, “They wanted to bring various flying craft near the UFO, and the UFO defended itself. And 19 of our people died.”
Like so many stories in the UFO field, Bushman’s is enigmatic. The whole affair could easily be written off as the delusional ramblings of an old man. The only thing that causes one to pause is Bushman’s background. Why would a high level scientist begin making up such wild stories? Did he actually work with Teller, and did he ever really go to Area 51? Or were these all tall tales told to him that he believed wholeheartedly?
Now that Bushman has passed we may never know.

Reports of a girl with “coal-black pits for eye sockets” first emerged in the capital in the 1980s - but experts now say she is back.
The last sighting was just two weeks ago and a paranormal investigator says he has been flooded with reports.
One terrified traveller said he and his wife were waiting for the tube with their child when they heard the chilling sound of a little girl giggling in the tunnel.
“To our amazement, a child, no taller than one meter in height appeared as if out of nowhere further up the track in front of us,” he said.
“We stopped dead in our tracks after noticing her eyes had no colour.”
The investigator, who did not want to be named, said: “I have received nine different reports in the last two years from seemingly credible witnesses.
“During interviews most of their stories have been very similar.”
It comes after a recent surge in reported sightings of screaming black-eyed child ghosts across the UK.
The ghost of Cannock Chase, in Staffs, has returned after 30 years.
One of the haunted places is the area’s Four Crosses pub.
Ghouls have also been spotted frequently in Cannock Chases’s spooky woodland.
Legend has it they are the ghosts of three children murdered by carmechanic Raymond Leslie Morris in the 1960s.
The recent ghoul sightings in the London Underground are not the first in the capital.

After settling down in Shingo, Jesus is said to have had three children with a local woman before dying of natural causes at the age of 106. World's Longest Snake Has Virgin Birth—First Recorded in Species
Virgin birth has been documented in the world's longest snake for the first time, a recent study says.
An 11-year-old reticulated python named Thelma produced six female offspring in June 2012 at the Louisville Zoo in Kentucky, where she lives with another female python, Louise. No male had ever slithered anywhere near the 200-pound (91-kilogram), 20-foot-long (6 meters) mother snake.
New DNA evidence, published in July in the Biological Journal of the Linnean Society, revealed that Thelma is the sole parent, said Bill McMahan, the zoo's curator of ectotherms, or cold-blooded animals.
"We didn't know what we were seeing. We had attributed it to stored sperm," he said. "I guess sometimes truth is stranger than fiction."
Virgin births have been observed in other reptiles before, including other pythons and snake species, said James Hanken, a professor of herpetology at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Fatherless reproduction in animals that normally require two parents is called parthenogenesis.
This phenomenon occurs when polar bodies, or cells produced with an animal's egg that normally die or disappear, behave like sperm and fuse with the egg.
The number of species known to be capable of virgin births—pythons, boas, birds, sharks, and more—has grown significantly in recent years, noted study leader Warren Booth, a biologist at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma.
For instance, until now, scientists had never witnessed the phenomenon in reticulated pythons.
"Pythons are an old, ancient species. We've seen this in more advanced species like garter snakes," said Booth, adding that the discovery helps scientists learn more about the snakes' evolutionary family tree.
It's still a mystery as to why parthenogenesis happens, though Booth hypothesizes that geographic isolation from males and captivity may have a lot to do with it.
In Thelma's case, her virgin birth may have been triggered by ideal living conditions, zoo curator McMahan speculates.
"It takes a lot out of [pythons] to reproduce, and she had everything she needed. I had fed her a really big meal, 40 pounds [18 kilograms] of chicken. She was living in an exhibit larger than the typical size. There were heat pads. Everything was optimal," he said.
Despite having only a mother, Thelma's offspring are all half-clones.
Three of them look like her, retaining her intricate reticulated pattern. The others display a "super tiger" pattern of bright yellow with black stripes.
While the six snakes are all healthy behind glass doors, Booth doubts their ability to survive in the wild as they're "highly inbred and often die early."
Overall, the discovery reveals that there's a lot left to be discovered about parthenogenesis.
"It's something we used to consider an evolutionary novelty," Booth said, "that's much more common than we thought." -NatGeo

Are These The Roswell Aliens?
Shortly before Boyd Bushman passed away on August 7, 2014, he was video recorded candidly speaking about his personal experiences with Area 51, UFOs, aliens and anti-gravity ideas.
Boyd was a retired Senior Scientist for Lockheed Martin.
His career spanned over forty years, was awarded many patents, and included work with defense contractors Hughes Aircraft, General Dynamics, Texas Instruments, and Lockheed Martin.
At a time when sightings of the nation’s most elusive inhabitant were treated with gravity by British officialdom, it was a fiendish plan to snatch her from under Scottish noses.
Newly discovered documents have revealed how the National History Museum (NHM) in London appealed to so-called bounty hunters to help secure the carcase of the Loch Ness monster, according to a new book.
It claims the files, dating back to the 1930s, show staff at the institution were keen to steal a march on museums in Scotland and around the world by exhibiting all – or part – of the beast’s remains.
Although Nessie now occupies a prized place in Scottish mythology alongside flying haggis and Brigadoon, the correspondence from the museum’s archives demonstrate the seriousness with which early rumours of her existence were treated.
In 1934, a year after the first sightings of a supposedly mysterious creature lurking in the loch’s depths, the book claims, an NHM employee made clear it would be keen to trump institutions such as Edinburgh’s Royal Scottish Museum (RSM).
In a letter dated March of that year, the unnamed official responded to questions about the museum’s policy on Nessie. The message was black and white.
“Should you ever come within range of the ‘Monster’ I hope you will not be deterred by humanitarian considerations from shooting him on the spot and sending the carcase to us in cold storage, carriage forward,” the letter stated, before adding: “Short of this, a flipper, a jaw or a tooth would be very welcome.”
The remarkable advice is detailed in Britain’s X-traordinary Files, a book examining various myths and stories in the country’s folklore.
Author David Clarke said while researchers already knew about similar files at the RSM, the discovery of similar documents at the NHM left him “astonished”.
He said: “Many influential people – including MPs and famous naturalists like Sir Peter Scott – believed in the existence of Nessie and a lot of pressure was placed on the Scottish Office to give it special protection.
“During the 1930s, the monster became an important symbol for Scottish Nationalists who wanted the police to protect the creature from big game hunters.
“Nessie had become a Scottish icon – a symbol of national identity.”
He added: “There was genuine outrage at the possibility that the corpse of the monster might be taken for display in London.”
While the NHM was working behind the scenes to secure the creature, the RSM warned against the prospect of Nessie being put on display south of the Border.
In a 1934 letter to the then secretary of state for Scotland, Sir Godfrey Collins, the museum staked Edinburgh’s claim to the carcase.
It stated: “The museum urges strongly that the RSM have the reversionary rights to the ‘Monster’ if and when its corpse should become available.
“We think the Monster should not be allowed to find its last resting place in England.
“Such a fate would surely outrage Scottish nationalism which at the moment is thriving greatly under the Monster’s beneficent influence.”
The Scotland Office opened a file on the monster in December 1933 in Edinburgh after being bombarded with inquiries from the press.
According to more files found in Edinburgh, pressure was already growing for a special act of parliament to prevent Nessie being killed or captured.
The campaign was led by Inverness MP Murdoch MacDonald who assured Sir Godfrey the creature was no myth.
“Evidence of its presence can be taken as undoubted. Far too many people have seen something abnormal to question its existence,” he wrote.
He demanded a bill be put before parliament to protect the creature and asked Sir Godfrey what could be done to spare it from harm in the meantime.
Sir Godfrey was advised there was “no law for the protection of Monsters” and “great fish, including those of no known denomination, may be claimed by The Crown”.
In later decades, the NHM’s appetite for all matters Nessie waned considerably. The archives show that in October 1959, it wrote to employees warning them the trustees “do not approve of the spending of official time or official leave on the so-called Loch Ness phenomena”. – Scotsman

The image was captured by Rob Spacey, of Derby, during a night out at The Old Bell Hotel in Derby which is listed as one of the most haunted hotels in the UK.
He explained: “A friend of mine works in the Sadlergate pub which is renowned for being haunted.
“Just before locking up time when everyone had left we took a photograph of the corner not knowing at the time the image which had been captured.”
It is believed the photograph shows ‘Mabel the Linen Maid’ – one of the many ghosts believed to haunt the building.
Mabel is understood to have taken her own life in Room 6 after finding out she was pregnant to her lover who had died in some war.
Guests that have booked that room for the night have found their clothes neatly folded at the bottom of their bed, thinking that someone had been in their room when they were asleep, they complained to the landlord only to be told that the staff would not have done this. – Derby Telegraph
Amateur photographer captures a strange object in the skies over Plaza Libertad in this community of Entre Rios Province.
Date: 10.27.2014: A strange object can be seen in an image captured this afternoon (Monday, Oct. 21) at Plaza Libertad in Rosario del Tala. Some believe it may be a UFO.
Journalist Ivan Rodríguez, a native of Rosario del Tala and a fan of photography for some years, took some photos of the Libertad gardens in the locality, but he was truly surprised when he downloaded the images to his computer.
Rodríguez told Radio Mediterránea about his surprise when one of his daughters – who was watching the images on the computer – noticed a spot on one of them asked him about it.
“I thought it might be debris or a bug on the camera lens. I took it apart and there was nothing,” he said.
The images were sent to the Museo Ovni in Victoria to be analyzed with better technology, and to find out if this could truly be an unidentified flying object.

Once again, StreetCap1 caught two cigar-shaped UFOs near the ISS on October 21, 2014.
Though the unknown objects are not really clear, this sighting is remarkable as not only there is no chance in light on the screen, thus it could not be a lens reflecting light at a certain angle, but even more important, NASA ended the live feed almost instantly (2-3 seconds) and changed it to another camera.
Actually, by ending the live ISS stream so quick, NASA proves that these objects are more than just reflecting lights and as we know the astronauts have to follow NASA’s UFO Protocol there is no doubt they have made clear images of these UFOs.
Filled with more than 3,700 pounds of hardware and critical science experiments, the Space X Dragon cargo craft left the International Space Station, headed for a deorbit and a parachute-assisted splashdown in the Pacific Ocean west of Baja California.
Dragon arrived at the station on Sept. 23 on the fourth resupply mission to the outpost for the U.S. commercial firm.
Dragon is the only cargo vehicle servicing the space station that can return cargo and scientific experiments back to Earth intact for researchers to retrieve for post-flight analysis.

Duration: 30 seconds I saw a rectangular object with white lights underneath, while driving. I was in the car with my 10 year old daughter. We were heading out to go shopping for a Halloween costume. The sun was just beginning to set, when we came to a red light, in the residential section of Fairless Hill. As we sat at the red light, a rectangular object flew just above the tree tops, to the right side of our car. The craft did not seem to make any noise. It was long and dark gray in color. The underneath was completely covered by two, side-by-side rows of about 10 round, white lights.
The lights reminded me of spotlights. I’m not very good at guessing the length or distance of objects, but my best guess would be that it was about 80-100 feet in length, and about 30-40 feet in width. It was so close to us that we really couldn’t tell how tall it was. We mostly got a view of the underside. As it began to move away from us, it didn’t seem to appear to have much height to it at all. The craft moved at a moderately fast pace and disappeared behind the tree line across the street very quickly. My daughter and I both looked up and pointed to the object at the same time and it was gone that quickly. The traffic light turned green almost immediately, and we traveled in the direction that we saw it disappear behind the trees. By the time we reached a clearing in the tree line (probably about 100 feet away from the light we were previously at), the craft was so far away that it could only be seen along the distant horizon.
Neither of us could figure out how it could have traveled what looked like many miles, in less than a minute. Though it was almost out of sight at that point, we were still able to make out its shape and lights, even from that distance.
In June 1976 my sister and I were living in Seattle, WA in an apartment on Beacon Hill. Our apartment faced east (front door) and south (kitchen/living room) and I was doing dishes with a view of Mount Rainier (slightly southeast) with the bay to the right. As I stood there washing dishes, talking to my sister, I looked out and saw something flying toward our location. I yelled to my sister, “Come here and tell me what I’m seeing!” She stood next to me looking out the window and said, “I don’t know what that is!”
A large disc-shaped object silently approached, when it got near it began to hover over the neighbors house (a three story Victorian, the bottom story was the garage area) and began to signal using light panels underneath the elliptical edge of the saucer. Then a light shined down on the house, it was then I noticed two jets coming from the military base at full throttle, suddenly all the lights on the saucer were lit up (underneath) and a low level humming began (which was mixed with the roar of the jets by then), it began to move so fast the jets swung out and around (before the turn was executed the ship was over Mount Rainier), the object was shooting straight up into the air and the jets lost it.
At the same time this was going on the radio announcer said, “Please don’t call in about a flying saucer, we know it’s a plane that’s been flying around with advertisements.” Then the plane was flying just to the west of us near the bay at the same time my sister and I were watching these events unfold.
This is a similar shaped craft. There were light panels under the outer edge that lit up singularly or in combination. Each panel was approximately 10 feet square. The craft was approximately 40 feet in height, 120 feet in diameter. It was silent until it started to accelerate away from us, then it emitted a loud humming noise.

I am now 43 and I was 11 at the time this happened. I will never forget the event and wish to this day I could draw because I can remember it like it was yesturday.
My parents and I were sitting in our living room in Federal Way, Washington on Star Lake Road. We had a house that had two huge windows. When out of the blue a very large round object appeared right in front of our windows. It was about the size of 1/2 of football field. There were rectangular lights that flashed in a circular motion. There were to windshields that were the same size as the lights. It was grey in color and made no noise what so ever. My dad said” Must be some new boeing project” It just sat there for at least a minute. My mom said ya right, I have never seen anything that that. In a instant it shot straight up into the air and took off heading South towards Portland. We called my aunt and she was like, I see nothing. The strangest thing of all is the next day at breakfast my parents remembered seeing something but they both said it was a dream. Then said, how can we all have the same dream. I try now to talk to my parents about it, my mom is eager to tell it but my dad is dead silent and wont say a word. I wish I could see it again.

P.S. After we saw this event a car pulled up directly across the street (black sedan) and four individuals, three male and one female, went into the house that the craft hovered over. The next day they came to our building and knocked on our door, my sister (who was 17 years old at the time) didn’t answer the door. She came to me and whispered that strange looking people were at the door, should she answer it? I whispered let me look and I saw it was the same group from across the street the day before.
I motioned to my sister to back up into the kitchen and I followed her there and mouthed “be quiet”. The group was interrupted by our upstairs neighbor who asked, “What the *bleep* are you doing here?” They got into a heated discussion and then left. I felt someone thinking to me that I shouldn’t talk to anyone about this and for almost 40 years I haven’t.
NOTE: Mt. Rainier is an active volcano…in fact, Mt. Rainier is considered one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world. I have reported previously on UFO activity around active volcanoes. Merk op hoe de ruimtevaartorganisatie in de titel het lidwoord 'a' tussen haakjes plaatst en daarmee Armstrongs citaat grammaticaal verbetert. Want terwijl Armstrong wel degelijk de bedoeling had om de 'a' uit te spreken, bleek dat uit de opnames niet het geval te zijn, wat de zin een beetje nutteloos maakt: 'man' zonder lidwoord betekent namelijk hetzelfde als 'mankind' (mensheid). Eigenlijk zei Armstrong dus "een kleine stap voor de mensheid, een grote sprong voor de mensheid".
Pas jaren na de maanlanding gaf Armstrong toe dat hij de 'a' wellicht vergeten was, al hoopte hij dat "de geschiedenis mij de ruimte toekent om het lidwoord te vergeten en begrijpt dat het zeker de intentie was om het uit te spreken". Daarom verkoos de astronaut dat het lidwoord in gedrukte citaten voortaan tussen haakjes geplaatst zou worden.
"We have a lift-off"
Wanneer de Apollo 11-missie, die Armstrong en zijn collega's naar de man moet brengen, met succes vertrekt, klinkt dat vanop de grond zo, inclusief applaus in de controlekamer:
"The eagle has landed"
Opnieuw euforie bij de landing, waar de crew op aarde het bijna niet meer houdt van de spanning. Nadat vanuit Apollo 11 het gelukkige nieuws 'The eagle has landed' klinkt, antwoordt Houston met: "Je hebt hier een hoop jongens die bijna blauw worden. Maar we ademen opnieuw."
"Houston, we've had a problem"
Weetje voor wanneer u nog eens een quiz organiseert: wat zei astronaut Jack Swigert toen hij Houston contacteerde om te melden dat er een probleem was tijdens de Apollo 13-missie? "Houston, we have a problem"? Niet dus: "Houston, we've had a problem" is het enige juiste citaat:

Hoe vertel je vanuit de ruimte hoe je eerste keer in outer space was? Sally Ride, de eerste Amerikaanse vrouw in de ruimte vertrok op 18 juni 1983 aan boord van de Challenger. Om de spanning te omschrijven, vraagt ze aan Houston: "Ben je ooit naar Disneyland geweest?" Wanneer het antwoord "affirmatief" komt, repliceert Ride vol enthousiasme: "Dit was echt een E-ticket", waarmee ze verwijst naar het speciale ticket dat het pretpark in die tijd had voor haar beste attracties en rollercoasters.

Het commerciële ruimtevaartuig Dragon is teruggekeerd naar de aarde, na een bezoek van enkele weken aan het internationaal ruimtestation ISS. Dragon landde om 21.40 uur in de Stille Ocaan, ongeveer 480 kilometer ten westen van het Mexicaanse schiereiland Baja California. Dat deelt de NASA mee.
Dragon zal van daaruit naar een haven in Los Angeles gebracht worden. De NASA zegt dat het ruimteschip bijna 1.500 kilo vracht meebracht van het ruimtestation, zoals een reeks wetenschappelijke experimenten. Sinds kort zijn op de website van de Bibliotheek van het Vaticaan de eerste 500 manuscripten en 600 wiegendrukken van voor 1501 uit de rijke collectie van de bibliotheek raadpleegbaar, meldt Kerknet. Het Vaticaan wil tegen 2018 nog eens 3000 manuscripten digitaliseren.
Dat is het eerste resultaat van het project van het Vaticaan voor de digitale ontsluiting van 180.000 manuscripten, 1,6 miljoen boeken en 150.000 beelden en prenten uit de Vaticaanse bibliotheek, waarvoor vorig jaar de organisatie ‘Digita Vaticana Oculus’ werd opgericht.
De stichting wil op korte termijn in samenwerking met het Japanse bedrijf NTT DATA 80.000 manuscripten en 41 miljoen bladzijden digitaal ontsluiten. De stichting denkt dat er 15 jaar nodig is om de collectie te digitaliseren.
De Vaticaanse Bibliotheek werd in 1451 door paus Nicolaas V opgericht. Zij is één van de oudste en rijkste bibliotheken ter wereld. Naast oude Bijbelmanuscripten bevat zij onder meer enkele van de oudste Koranfragmenten ter wereld en een thorarol uit 1451-1457 van Maimonides. Daarnaast zijn er ook nog de oude geschriften van de Azteken of de originele illustraties van de Goddelijke Komedie van Dante door de kunstenaar Sandro Botticelli. De bibiliotheek bevat ook brieven van belangrijke historische figuren, tekeningen en notities van kunstenaars en wetenschappers zoals Michelangelo en Galileo. Ook zijn er verdragen uit alle tijdperken te vinden.
Iedere dag mogen 200 onderzoekers boeken en archieven raadplegen, waarvan de oudste teruggaan tot 1760. Door de digitalisering zijn de boeken en manuscripten voortaan in elke universiteitsbibliotheek raadpleegbaar. De originele werken worden bewaard in atoomkelders.
De Grote Samenzwering: de geheime geschiedenis van de wereld
Geheime genootschappen. Volgens Jonathan Black waren de grootste genieën er lid van, en besturen ze stiekem de wereld. Bestaan ze echt, die geheime machten achter de schermen? Vormen deze genootschappen werkelijk een geheime coalitie van de grootste genieën?

FOUR STAR GENERAL ADMITS THAT ALIEN CRAFT ARE REAL

Earlier I took a close look at a mysterious document known as the Twining Memo, in which four-star General Nathan Twining, head of the United States Air Force Materiel Command, confirmed that saucer-shaped UFOs were, “real and not visionary or fictitious.” General Twining took the UFO enigma very seriously indeed. In his memo, he recommended that in future the subject should be assigned, “a priority, security classification and Code Name for a detailed study of this matter to include the preparation of complete sets of all available and pertinent data which will then be made available to the Army, Navy, Atomic Energy Commission, JRDS, the Air Force Scientific Advisory Group, NACA and the RAND and NEPA projects for comments and recommendations, with a preliminary report to be forwarded within 15 days of receipt of the data and a detailed report thereafter every 30 days as the investigation develops.” Twining spoke of “the lack of physical evidence in the shape of crash-recovered exhibits which would undeniably prove the existence of these objects.” However, as Twining had effectively been put in charge of UFO studies by the Government and had a very high security clearance, it is highly likely that even if he did know of such crashes he would have been unable to tell the recipient of his memo, General George Schulgen, about them. The level of the security classification dictated that those involved were only made privy to information on a ”need to know” basis. If Schulgen had no need to know, he wouldn’t be told. Intriguingly, Twining made it clear that if UFOs were of “domestic origin” he certainly wasn’t aware of it. It would have been superfluous in the extreme to order further study of UFOs if Twining knew that they were simply top-secret American aircraft, as the sceptics sometimes claim. There isn’t a shred of evidence that the US Air force or any other organisation, military or civilian, were testing experimental aircraft that could perform the mind-boggling aerial manoeuvres that the UFOs were capable of. Why did Twining write his memo just at that time – September 1947? In July of that same year, the National Security Act was passed, bringing into existence the CIA, the National Military Establishment, the National Security Council and, shortly afterward, the Department of Defense. The major elements of the act were activated in September of that year. Of course, part of the motivation for the passing of the Act had been World War II. However, some think that there may have been another, more secret agenda at work. July 1947 was also the time when a UFO was said to have crashed at Roswell in New Mexico – just weeks before the National Security Act was passed and it is here where General Nathan Twining re-enters the picture. On Monday, July 7, Twining suddenly made an unscheduled visit to Alamogordo Army Air Field, New Mexico. On July 8, the very day after Twining travelled to Alamogordo, the Roswell Army Air Field (RAAF) Public Information Officer, Walter Haut, authorised a press release which stated that members of Roswell Field’s 509th Operations Group had recovered a “flying disc”, which had crashed near Roswell. Roswell is only a little over 100 miles from Alamogordo, which is very unlikely to be coincidental. Twining had originally been scheduled to attend a meeting with executives of Boeing at that time, but hurriedly cancelled. On July 17, Twining wrote to a senior executive and apologised for not attending the meeting, “due to a very important, sudden matter that developed here.” You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to guess what that may have been. Then, as soon as the National Security Act came into force, Twining sent his memo to General Schulgen expressing his concern about UFOs. Twining knew more about UFOs than most people did back then – and more than most of us know now.
First I want to thank Kevin Randle for providing another excellent example of the fictional approach to research. I notice he doesn’t mention Dr. Wescott’s outstanding background, details like having been a Rhodes Scholar, having been the president of the Linguistic Association of Canada and the US, having published almost 400 papers etc (there are 3 pages about him in my final Report on MJ-12). Second I did not use the term proof about his comments. This isn’t a math or physics problem. I arranged for papers to be given him. I would say he provided a preponderance of the evidence.I know of nobody better qualified to evaluate the question of whether RHHas opposed to some hoaxer prepared the EBD. Kevin also doesn’t mention that RHH was not some bungling character. He was an Annapolis graduate, had been the first director of the Central Intelligence Agency 1947-1950 and in late 1952. was head of the 3rd Naval District in New York. Washington is not far away. We know that Walter B. Smith his successor at the CIA had been directed by Truman to coordinate Intelligence briefings for Ike (see his letter p. E-9 in my Report). I have suggested that Typing would have been done at the CIA.
Several other anti MJ-12 articles have recently been posted. But they seem more like fiction than factual. Lots of scenarios, but little data or evidence. Let me first summarize where I stand. I have been on the story for just under 30 years. I believe I have written more than anyone else and done more digging in archives. I had a security clearance for 14 years and have made many visits to 20 archives. I was lucky enough to have a research grant from the Fund for UFO research. For some crazy reason extremist Milton William Cooper said I worked for the CIA and the grant was actually from them!! In fact the Fund had sent out a questionnaire to see what its members thought needed researching. Majestic 12 was selected and I was asked to submit a proposal, which I did. The money was actually raised mostly from the Prince of Liechtenstein. I wrote a 100 + page report of my findings after visits to various Archives such as the Library of Congress Manuscript Division, The National Archives, the Truman and Eisenhower Libraries, the Harvard and Princeton Archives, etc. I included correspondence between myself and Phil Klass and a copy of his check to me for $1000. for proving him totally wrong about the typeface on the Cutler Twining memo. Typical false reasoning on the part of the MJ-12 debunkers. Because he had all of 9 NSC items done in elite type, he thought it sensible to claim that all NSC memos were done in elite type. Not surprisingly he had never, before or since, been to the Eisenhower Library which had 250,000 pages of NSC material. He had offered to pay me $!00.@ for every item meeting his criteria, .up to a limit of 10. I sent 14. He paid me, but didn’t bother to tell anybody. There is also no Friedman file in his papers at the American Philosophical Society Library despite 20+ years of correspondence. I wrote a book TOP SECRET/MAJIC and many papers and responded to a host of false claims and assumptions.
Most of this goes back a long while. I spoke with family members of all the MJ-members except 1. I spoke in person with General Twining’s pilot, and his daughter and 2 sons, with Admiral Hillenkoetter’s family ,with George Elsey who worked at the Truman library the entire time Truman was there, etc. I had concluded that there are 3, possibly four genuine documents (The Truman Forrestal Memo, The Cutler Twining Memo and the Eisenhower Briefing Document) and a host of phony ones. I believe I have responded to all the anti claims. My focus has been on a host of details that turned out not to be known at the time the documents were received and on a number of fictional claims and a bunch of details that would seem beyond the ken of a hoaxer. For example it was claimed that since the briefing Officer Roscoe J. Hillenkoetter was titled admiral, that proved the document was false because he had only been a rear admiral. The attack neglected to mention that all 6 military guys (2 Army, 2 Navy, two AF) were referred to by generic ranks. Not just Hillenkoetter. Furthermore I gathered documents at the Ike Library proving that was standard practice. A good example was provided by documents written by Brigadier General Andrew Goodpaster (Ike’s Staff secretary) referring to himself as General Goodpaster but signing as Brigadier General Goodpaster. Two archivists supported that view. He always used generic ranks when listing attendees. The claim was interesting fiction.
Here are some other false claims covered in detail in my book, report, and papers:
The date format 18 November, 1952 supposedly violates the government style manual and therefore the EBD is phony.I found many examples at Archives of the use of this and several other date formats. This was pre- word processors. False claim.
Supposedly the security marking on the Cutler Twining memo of TOP SECRET RESTRICTED was never used by the government until after Ike was out of office. The GAO in its huge report on its search for Roswell Documents noted that they had indeed found examples of this on a number of classified documents even though they had been told (MJ 12) that it was not used. I couldn’t get copies because the documents were still classified. Why would a hoaxer not just use a plain TOP SECRET? False claim.
The unsigned Cutler Twining memo supposedly had to be phony because Cutler was out of the country on July 14, 1954. Actually, it would have been a phony if it had been signed or there was an /s/ next to his typed name. Really smart hoaxer
We didn’t find out, thanks to Bob Todd, that Cutler was gone until later. I also found at the Ike Library Cutler’s instructions to James Lay, Exec. Sec. of the National Security Council,” to keep things moving out of my in basket while I am gone.”I also found that Lay met with Ike that day and had a phone conversation with Ike at 4:30PM. George Elsey, White House Aide under Truman, told me after looking at the documents, that of course Lay (who sat next to Cutler at all NSC Meetings) would have prepared a brief memo to General Twining in Cutler’s name. He also could find no problem with the 3 documents or the names of the people on the MJ-12 List.
4. Several objected strenuously to the surprising notion that debunker Dr. Donald Menzel could have been fully aware of UFOs Roswell, and still be the loudest UFO debunker in the 1950s and 1960s.They objected to my saying he led a double life despite my very surprising discovery in his papers at the Harvard Archives that he was tightly connected with the NSA, CIA, cryptology and many other intelligence activities.. as noted by him to President Kennedy. The critics complained but, so far as I can tell, none went to the Harvard Archives or the Kennedy library. I spent days there and had to get permission from 3 people to see Menzel’s papers. How did anybody know to include him on Majestic 12? They just happened to pick an extraordinary claim that turned out to be true??
5. Some complained that since the EBD says the distance to the Roswell crash site was approximately 75 miles rather than 62 by car or 100 by plane,it was a fraud.. Since when does “approximately” mean precisely or exactly? The Briefing was Preliminary and hardly a guide to how to get to the crash site.
6. Several debunkers claimed vigorously that the documents are phony because all top secret code word documents must (They said) have top secret control numbers. Two archivists (Eisenhower and Marshall Archives) told me this was nonsense. They had many TS docs that did not have Control numbers. I had even published some earlier. False claim.
7. As an example of irrational thinking it was pointed out that I have claimed that there were crash retrievals in the Plains of San Agustin and Aztec. Since none are mentioned in the EBD either, they never happened or it is fraudulent because they aren’t mentioned. There was nothing that said this was a complete picture of crash retrievals. On the contrary, it says it is Preliminary. Neither of these two got news coverage whereas Roswell did.
8. Since the EBD says there was a crash near El Indio-Guerero on 06 December 1950, and I have found no evidence of it, the document must be phony. It also says the burned wreckage was taken to Sandia. I know of no way to gain access to that information since Sandia is a very high security nuclear weapons Lab. False claim. It is certainly not true that absence of evidence is evidence for absence.
9. Robert Hastings has noted that I had agreed in Brazil that it is conceivable that some smart government agent could have done an enormous amount of research to create the documents .I obviously couldn’t prove a negative. Yes, but no one has provided any evidence or facts or names or details establishing that that was the case. I know from all the time money and effort I spent how difficult that would have been and I started with the documents. This, of course, doesn’t explain how somebody knew all the details that weren’t known until well after the documents were received. Psychic??
10. Many have noted that Rick Doty was based in Albuquerque and that the EBD was postmarked Albuquerque. Albuquerque is a large city, the home of Kirtland and Sandia. This proves nothing.Nor does the fact that he was involved in disinformation,
11.I have trouble believing that it is just a coincidence that September 24, 1947, the date of the TF memo, was the only date in an 8 month period that Truman, Bush and Forrestal met together. Or that the CT memo was coincidentally done while Cutler was out of the country and therefore was not signed.. very smart hoaxer. Or that August 1,1950, when W.B. Smith was named to replace James Forrestal on MJ-12 was the only date in the first 10 months of 1950 when Truman met with Smith.. I list a bunch more “coincidences” in my Final Report.
Yes, Rick Doty was involved with false documents re Bennewitz etc. and was the first to mention MJ-12. Where is there any evidence that he faked EBD knowing enough to pass inspection. Has he been shown to have visited the Truman, or Eisenhower or Harvard Archives etc? Klass made all kinds of claims but never went to the Ike Library. Have Greenwood, Hastings, Randle, Rojas been to the Presidential Libraries or the various Archives.? Do they have any idea how much effort I spent trying to show the documents were phony?
Cannot the debunkers recognize that provenance would have revealed the identity of the crime committing informant?.Hoaxers normally do as little as possible to call attention to strange details.. like the offset and different typeface in the numerical portion of the date on the TF, or the absence of signature on TC, or the period after the date on TF.
In short then, fiction is not the same as nonfiction. Research requires facts, data, evidence. Nobody has shown any to establish that the TF,CT, or EBD were fraudulent Scenarios are interesting but not evidence.
I am still looking for a list of reasons that each of the 3 (CT, TF, EBD) are fraudulent. I have shown that a number of so-called MJ-12 documents were indeed false based on Direct evidence. For example in the Book “Wedemeyer Reports” by General Wedmeyer I found three items that were retyped and Xeroxed to keep the hand written portions . Clearly emulations. I found a number of other emulations, proofs of hoaxing. I have yet to see any for the 3 genuine ones.

In the video below, on the morning of Oct 25 2014 above planet earth we noticed, as the SpaceX Dragon cargo craft departs from the International Space Station, it appears that something is observing its flight path…take a look Notice when the UFO appears into frame the cameraman conveniently pulls back to try and hide the obvious. Afgelopen week hebben wij via lezers berichten ontvangen van een dergelijke gebeurtenis nabij Eindhoven.
Wanneer je de wereldwijde UFO-verhalen en waarnemingen volgt dan valt op dat elektrische systemen tijdens UFO aanwezigheid niet meer goed werken bij bijvoorbeeld auto's, maar ook bij andere apparatuur.
Het volgende gebeurt op 15 oktober in Tongelre, bij Eindhoven: Een grote oranje driehoek bestaande uit aparte oranje lichten. Wilde mijn telefoon pakken om te filmen, maar was te laat. Heel bijzondere ervaring.

Ik lees zojuist het artikel “we worden overspoeld door ufo,s en de ervaring uit Eindhoven.
Het geval wil dat ik op 15 oktober een supervroege dienst had en zat rond 5.00 uur in de auto.
Toen ik vlakbij de wijk Tongelre, ik stond te wachten voor een stoplicht toen mijn auto afsloeg.
Op mijn werk een paar minuten later bleek dat mijn mobiele telefoon compleet leeg was 0 procent, terwijl ik die 100 procent mee opgeladen in de auto had genomen.
Helaas zag heb ik al rijdend in de auto geen ufo gezien (wel gekeken).
We hebben twee verschillende lezers die onafhankelijk van elkaar op dezelfde datum iets ervaren bij dezelfde wijk in Eindhoven.
De één ziet een UFO en bij de ander slaat de auto plotseling af en is de batterij van de telefoon ineens leeg terwijl deze was opgeladen.
Toeval? We geloven het niet en zouden graag willen weten of er nog meer mensen zijn die op 15 oktober iets vreemds hebben meegemaakt in de buurt van Tongelre.
Het effect dat UFO's kunnen hebben op auto's en elektrische systemen wordt prachtig uitgebeeld in de film Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Nu is de ervaring van de lezer misschien iets minder heftig, maar het idee is hetzelfde.
It is theorized that when the famous adventurer Admiral Richard E. Byrd took a flight over the North Pole that he actually entered into the 'Inner Earth' at the opening at this pole. In his purported diary, Admiral Byrd discusses contact he made with an advanced people in this area who showed him their world and asked for him to take a message back to the surface dwellers and government of their concern about a future vision they had of our destroying our world and since this is their home as well, they of course wanted to prevent this. If such beings do exist, it is theorized that many, if not the majority, of the UFOs we see are not extraterrestrial but ultraterrestial, as our subterranean brothers (or keepers) maintain an eye on us from below.
I must write this diary in secrecy and obscurity. It con cerns my Arctic flight of the nineteenth day of February in the year of Nineteen and Forty Seven.
There comes a time when the rationality of men must fade into insignificance and one must accept the inevitability of the Truth! I am not at liberty to disclose the following documenta tion at this writing ...perhaps it shall never see the light of public scrutiny, but I must do my duty and record here for all to read one day. In a world of greed and exploitation of certain of mankind can no longer suppress that which is truth.
0800 Hours- Slight turbulence noted from easterly direction at altitude of 2321 feet, correction to 1700 feet, no further turbu lence, but tail wind increases, slight adjustment in throttle controls, aircraft performing very well now.
0815 Hours- Radio Check with base camp, situation normal.
0910 Hours- Vast Ice and snow below, note coloration of yellowish nature, and disperse in a linear pattern. Altering course foe a better examination of this color pattern below, note reddish or purple color also. Circle this area two full turns and return to assigned compass heading. Position check made again to base camp, and relay information concerning colorations in the Ice and snow below.
0910 Hours- Both Magnetic and Gyro compasses beginning to gyrate and wobble, we are unable to hold our heading by instrumentation. Take bearing with Sun compass, yet all seems well. The controls are seemingly slow to respond and have sluggish quality, but there is no indication of Icing!
0915 Hours- In the distance is what appears to be mountains.
0949 Hours- 29 minutes elapsed flight time from the first sight ing of the mountains, it is no illusion. They are mountains and consisting of a small range that I have never seen before!
1000 Hours- We are crossing over the small mountain range and still proceeding northward as best as can be ascertained. Beyond the mountain range is what appears to be a valley with a small river or stream running through the center portion. There should be no green valley below! Something is definitely wrong and abnormal here! We should be over Ice and Snow! To the portside are great forests growing on the mountain slopes. Our navigation Instruments are still spinning, the gyroscope is oscillating back and forth!
1005 Hours- I alter altitude to 1400 feet and execute a sharp left turn to better examine the valley below. It is green with either moss or a type of tight knit grass. The Light here seems different. I cannot see the Sun anymore. We make another left turn and we spot what seems to be a large animal of some kind below us. It appears to be an elephant! NO!!! It looks more like a mammoth! This is incredible! Yet, there it is! Decrease altitude to 1000 feet and take binoculars to better examine the animal. It is confirmed - it is definitely a mammoth-like ani mal! Report this to base camp.
1030 Hours- Encountering more rolling green hills now. The external temperature indicator reads 74 degrees Fahrenheit! Continuing on our heading now. Navigation instruments seem normal now. I am puzzled over their actions. Attempt to contact base camp. Radio is not functioning!
1130 Hours- Countryside below is more level and normal (if I may use that word). Ahead we spot what seems to be a city!!!! This is impossible! Aircraft seems light and oddly buoyant. The controls refuse to respond!! My GOD!!! Off our port and star board wings are a strange type of aircraft. They are closing rapidly alongside! They are disc-shaped and have a radiant quality to them. They are close enough now to see the markings on them. It is a type of Swastika!!! This is fantastic. Where are we! What has happened. I tug at the controls again. They will not respond!!!! We are caught in an invisible vice grip of some type!
1135 Hours- Our radio crackles and a voice comes through in English with what perhaps is a slight Nordic or Germanic accent! The message is: 'Welcome, Admiral, to our domain. We shall land you in exactly seven minutes! Relax, Admiral, you are in good hands.' I note the engines of our plane have stopped running! The aircraft is under some strange control and is now turning itself. The controls are useless.
1140 Hours- Another radio message received. We begin the landing process now, and in moments the plane shudders slightly, and begins a descent as though caught in some great unseen elevator! The downward motion is negligible, and we touch down with only a slight jolt!
1145 Hours- I am making a hasty last entry in the flight log. Several men are approaching on foot toward our aircraft. They are tall with blond hair. In the distance is a large shimmering city pulsating with rainbow hues of color. I do not know what is going to happen now, but I see no signs ofweapons on those approaching. I hear now a voice ordering me by name to open the cargo door. I comply. END LOG

From this point I write all the following events here from memory. It defies the imagination and would seem all but madness if it had not happened.
The radioman and I are taken from the aircraft and we are re ceived in a most cordial manner. We were then boarded on a small platform-like conveyance with no wheels! It moves us toward the glowing city with great swiftness. As we approach, the city seems to be made of a crystal material. Soon we arrive at a large building that is a type I have never seen before. It appears to be right out of the design board of Frank Lloyd Wright, or perhaps more correctly, out of a Buck Rogers setting!! We are given some type of warm beverage which tasted like nothing I have ever savored before. It is delicious. After about ten minutes, two of our wondrous appearing hosts come to our quarters and announce that I am to accompany them. I have no choice but to comply. I leave my radioman behind and we walk a short dis tance and enter into what seems to be an elevator. We descend downward for some moments, the machine stops, and the door lifts silently upward! We then proceed down a long hallway that is lit by a rose-colored light that seems to be emanating from the very walls themselves! One of the beings motions for us to stop before a great door. Over the door is an inscription that I cannot read. The great door slides noiselessly open and I am beckoned to enter. One of my hosts speaks. 'Have no fear, Admiral, you are to have an audience with the Master...'
I step inside and my eyes adjust to the beautiful coloration that seems to be filling the room completely. Then I begin to see my sur roundings. What greeted my eyes is the most beautiful sight of my entire existence. It is in fact too beautiful and wondrous to describe. It is exquisite and delicate. I do not think there exists a human term that can describe it in any detail with justice! My thoughts are interrupted in a cordial manner by a warm rich voice of melodious quality, 'I bid you welcome to our domain, Admiral.' I see a man with delicate features and with the etching of years upon his face. He is seated at a long table. He motions me to sit down in one of the chairs. After I am seated, he places his fingertips together and smiles. He speaks softly again, and conveys the following.
'We have let you enter here because you are of noble character and well-known on the Surface World, Admiral.' Surface World, I half-gasp under my breath! 'Yes," the Master replies with a smile, 'you are in the domain of the Arianni, the Inner World of the Earth. We shall not long delay your mission, and you will be safely escorted back to the surface and for a distance beyond. But now, Admiral, I shall tell you why you have been summoned here. Our interest rightly begins just after your race exploded the first atomic bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. It was at that alarm ing time we sent our flying machines, the "Flugelrads", to your surface world to investigate what your race had done. That is, of course, past history now, my dear Admiral, but I must continue on. You see, we have never interfered before in your race's wars, and barbarity, but now we must, for you have learned to tamper with a certain power that is not for man, namely, that of atomic energy. Our emissaries have already delivered messages to the powers of your world, and yet they do not heed. Now you have been chosen to be witness here that our world does exist. You see, our Culture and Science is many thousands of years beyond your race, Admiral.' I interrupted, 'But what does this have to do with me, Sir?'
The Master's eyes seemed to penetrate deeply into my mind, and after studying me for a few moments he replied, 'Your race has now reached the point of no return, for there are those among you who would destroy your very world rather than relinquish their power as they know it...' I nodded, and the Master continued, 'In 1945 and afterward, we tried to contact your race, but our efforts were met with hostility, our Flugelrads were fired upon. Yes, even pursued with malice and animosity by your fighter planes. So, now, I say to you, my son, there is a great storm gathering in your world, a black fury that will not spend itself for many years. There will be no answer in your arms, there will be no safety in your science. It may rage on until every flower of your culture is trampled, and all human things are leveled in vast chaos. Your recent war was only a prelude of what is yet to come for your race. We here see it more clearly with each hour..do you say I am mistaken?'
'No,' I answer, 'it happened once before, the dark ages came and they lasted for more than five hundred years.'
'Yes, my son,' replied the Master, 'the dark ages that will come now for your race will cover the Earth like a pall, but I believe that some of your race will live through the storm, beyond that, I cannot say. We see at a great distance a new world stirring from the ruins of your race, seeking its lost and legendary treasures, and they will be here, my son, safe in our keeping. When that time arrives, we shall come forward again to help revive your culture and your race. Perhaps, by then, you will have learned the futility of war and its strife...and after that time, certain of your culture and science will be returned for your race to begin anew. You, my son, are to return to the Surface World with this message.....'
With these closing words, our meeting seemed at an end. I stood for a moment as in a dream....but, yet, I knew this was reality, and for some strange reason I bowed slightly, either out of respect or humility, I do not know which.
Suddenly, I was again aware that the two beautiful hosts who had brought me here were again at my side. 'This way, Admiral,' motioned one. I turned once more before leaving and looked back toward the Master. A gentle smile was etched on his delicate and ancient face. 'Farewell, my son,' he spoke, then he gestured with a lovely, slender hand a motion of peace and our meeting was truly ended.
Quickly, we walked back through the great door of the Master's chamber and once again entered into the elevator. The door slid silently downward and we were at once going upward. One of my hosts spoke again, 'We must now make haste, Admiral, as the Master desires to delay you no longer on your scheduled timetable and you must return with his message to your race.'
I said nothing. All of this was almost beyond belief, and once again my thoughts were interrupted as we stopped. I entered the room and was again with my radioman. He had an anxious expression on his face. As I approached, I said, 'It is all right, Howie, it is all right.' The two beings motioned us toward the awaiting conveyance, we boarded, and soon arrived back at the aircraft. The engines were idling and we boarded immediately. The whole atmosphere seemed charged now with a certain air of urgency. After the cargo door was closed the aircraft was imme diately lifted by that unseen force until we reached an altitude of 2700 feet. Two of the aircraft were alongside for some distance guiding us on our return way. I must state here, the airspeed indicator registered no reading, yet we were moving along at a very rapid rate.
215 Hours- A radio message comes through. 'We are leaving you now, Admiral, your controls are free. Auf Wiedersehen!!!!' We watched for a moment as the flugelrads disappeared into the pale blue sky.
The aircraft suddenly felt as though caught in a sharp downdraft for a moment. We quickly recovered her control. We do not speak for some time, each man has his thoughts....
ENTRY IN FLIGHT LOG CONTINUES:
220 Hours- We are again over vast areas of ice and snow, and approximately 27 minutes from base camp. We radio them, they respond. We report all conditions normal....normal. Base camp expresses relief at our re-established contact.
300 Hours- We land smoothly at base camp. I have a mission.....
END LOG ENTRIES.
March 11, 1947. I have just attended a staff meeting at the Pentagon. I have stated fully my discovery and the message from the Master. All is duly recorded. The President has been ad vised. I am now detained for several hours (six hours, thirty- nine minutes, to be exact.) I am interviewed intently by Top Security Forces and a medical team. It was an ordeal!!!! I am placed under strict control via the national security provisions of this United States of America. I am ORDERED TO REMAIN SILENT IN REGARD TO ALL THAT I HAVE LEARNED, ON THE BEHALF OF HUMANITY1111 Incredible! I am reminded that I am a military man and I must obey orders.
30/12/56: FINAL ENTRY:
These last few years elapsed since 1947 have not been kind...I now make my final entry in this singular diary. In closing, I must state that I have faithfully kept this matter secret as directed all these years. It has been completely against my values of moral right. Now, I seem to sense the long night coming on and this secret will not die with me, but as all truth shall, it will triumph and so it shall.
This can be the only hope for mankind. I have seen the truth and it has quickened my spirit and has set me free! I have done my duty toward the monstrous military industrial complex. Now, the long night begins to approach, but there shall be no end. Just as the long night of the Arctic ends, the brilliant sunshine of Truth shall come again....and those who are of darkness shall fall in it's Light..FOR I HAVE SEEN THAT LAND BEYOND THE POLE, THAT CENTER OF THE GREAT UNKNOWN.

NOTE: Personally, I think there may be some substance to the theory but only in bits and pieces. The ultraterrestrial or subterranean habitation hypothesis, I believe, is valid but not to the full extent of the 'Hollow Earth' theory. These UFOs are fast flying and were only noticed by the person recording much later when viewing the video. The first UFO seems like it could be a plane, but clearly, the UFOs move fast and behaves differently when flying. These objects do not appear to be planes flying about in the night sky. To the far right one UFO seemingly falls and flies erratic as it heads down to the right side of the Eiffel Tower. The UFO almost appears to be floating down. The other UFOs veer off to the left of the famous tower, and they seemingly begin to fizzle out. This UFO video is very interesting. Een topman van technologiebedrijf Google heeft gisteren met een skydive vanuit de rand van de ruimte een hoogterecord gebroken. De 57-jarige Alan Eustace viel vanuit ruim 41 kilometer hoogte, verder dan de Oostenrijker Felix Baumgartner in 2012.
Eustace doorbrak de geluidsbarrière en bereikte een snelheid van 1320 kilometer per uur in een vrije val. De Google-directeur deed zijn ruimtesprong boven de woestijn van de Amerikaanse staat New Mexico. Een met helium gevulde ballon bracht hem naar zijn startpunt. Eustace droeg een ruimtepak en -helm en maakte zichzelf los van de ballon. Vijftien minuten na het begin van zijn sprong was hij met een parachute terug op aarde.
"Het was geweldig", vertelt de Google-topman aan The New York Times. "Ik kon de duisternis van de ruimte zien, en verschillende lagen atmosfeer, dat had ik nog nooit gezien."
De sprong maakt deel uit van een project van Paragon Space Development dat commerciële vluchten wil maken naar de stratosfeer.
Het lijkt alsof er iets gaande is, alsof het nu lang genoeg geduurd heeft voordat er eindelijk Disclosure komt.
Terwijl de bevolking hier zich druk maakt over Zwarte Piet is er is nu werkelijk een niet aflatende stroom aan UFO-meldingen van over de hele wereld en ook onder onze lezers.
Allereerst willen we onze lezers bedanken die allerlei UFO-meldingen hebben gedaan. Het zijn er nu zoveel dat we moeite hebben ze allemaal te ordenen en publiceren. Ze verdwijnen niet in het niets!
Wat er gebeurt op onze planeet is eigenlijk niet voor te stellen. Terwijl er iedere dag opnieuw overal ter wereld de UFO-meldingen binnenstromen wordt er vanuit de gevestigde orde niet of nauwelijks aandacht aan besteed.
Net alsof het iets heel gewoons is dat er overal en nu bijna permanent onbekende objecten door ons luchtruim vliegen.
Misschien moet er eerst een vloot boven het Binnenhof hangen voordat er eindelijk iets gebeurt?
De waarnemingen zoals wij die van een lezer ontvingen (dank!) zie je nu heel veel wereldwijd:
Het volgende gebeurt op 15 oktober in Tongelre, bij Eindhoven:
Een grote oranje driehoek bestaande uit aparte oranje lichten. Wilde mijn relefoon pakken om te filmen, maar was te laat. Heel bijzondere ervaring.
Of zoals het volgende geval dat enkele dagen geleden binnenkwam bij Mufon. Als je de beelden bekijkt dan zijn ze niet alleen fascinerend, maar lijken veel op wat de getuige in Eindhoven zag.
De beelden zijn gemaakt in Devizes, in het Engelse graafschap Sommerset.
Je komt ze overal tegen, zoals de volgende lezer uit Hoogeveen enkele dagen geleden die een stukje ging wandelen met de hond:
Vanmorgen (22-10-2014) vroeg stond ik op, ik ben jarig dus voor mijn doen redelijk vroeg, zo rond 6:00 uur.
Ik ging een stuk met mijn hond wandelen over de dijk langs het kanaal. Toen ik opeens in de verte een groenoranje licht uit het kanaal zag komen. Eerst dacht ik dat er een boot om de hoek kwam varen maar het steeg steeds verder omhoog tot het opeens met een flits verdween, niet in een bepaalde richting maar het verdween op de plek.
Hoe het object er zelf uitzag kon ik niet goed zien doordat het donker was en het een licht had. Hierdoor leek het op een zwarte vlek zonder duidelijke randen. Ik had helaas mijn telefoon niet bij mij anders had ik een foto kunnen maken denk ik, zo lang was het dus in beeld.
Nogmaals ik weet niet wat het was maar ik denk een UFO, vandaar dat ik deze graag wilde melden.
Of, zoals weer iemand anders die de volgende driehoeksformatie UFO's fimde ergens boven Frankrijk.
Waar je voorheen regelmatig een UFO bij het Internationale Ruimtestation ISS kon waarnemen, verschijnen ook daar nu complete vloten.
Kortom, het lijkt alsof de wereld op dit moment wordt overspoeld door UFO's. Tegen de tijd dat overheden besluiten formeel disclosure te geven is het waarschijnlijk niet meer dan mosterd na de maaltijd.
De voor volgende maand voorziene lancering van een Europees experimenteel ruimtevliegtuigje is uitgesteld om de baan van de IXV fijner uit te werken, zo heeft het Europese Ruimtevaartbureau ESA meegedeeld.
De 'Intermediate eXperimental Vehicle' of IXV diende op 18 november met een lichte Vega-draagraket te vertrekken op de basis Kourou in Frans-Guyana. Maar ESA wil naar eigen zeggen samen met het Franse ruimtevaartbureau CNES de baan bijspijkeren van wat op een vliegend strijkijzer lijkt. Een nieuwe lanceerdatum is er nog niet.
Volgens een bron dicht bij het programma strookte het traject niet met de veiligheidsvoorschriften op Kourou.
De Vega moet de minishuttle op 450 km hoogte uitzetten. Het tuig duikt dan weer de atmosfeer in en dient aan een valscherm neer te ploffen in de Stille Oceaan, waarna een schip het zal oppikken.
Het programma kost, alles inbegrepen, minimaal 170 miljoen euro. Zeven landen nemen primair deel, waaronder België dat voor ongeveer tien procent participeert.
Sabca leverde de actuatoren (een soort hydraulische hefbomen) die de 'flappen' besturen en die dezelfde zijn als voor de Vega. QinetiQ Space speelt een rol in de 'avionics' en software. SAS is betrokken bij de 'operaties' en het grondsegment. De Karolingische dochter van hoofdaannemer Thales Alenia Space werkte mee aan elektrische systemen op de grond en aan het elektronisch geheugen van het tuig zelf.
An unmanned US plane on a top-secret, two-year mission to space has returned to Earth and landed in California.
The aircraft, resembling a miniature space shuttle and known as the Orbital Test Vehicle or X-37B, spent 674 days in orbit around the planet.
It was the unmanned plane's third space flight, but its mission has been shrouded in mystery.
A theory that it was taking a look at China's space lab has been downplayed by experts.
Air Force officials have only told US media the aircraft performs "risk reduction, experimentation and concept-of-operations development for reusable space vehicle technologies".

The X-37B programme, started in 1999 and is currently run by the Air Force's Rapid Capabilities Office.
The first plane flew in April 2010 and returned after eight months. The second launched in March 2011 and remained in space for 15 months.
The current aircraft - built by Boeing - uses solar panels for power in orbit, measures over 29ft (9m) long, has a wingspan of nearly 15ft and a weight of 11,000lbs (4,989 kg).
It looks like a mini space shuttle and can glide back down through the atmosphere to land on a runway, just like Nasa's re-usable manned spaceplane used to do before its retirement.

The reality is that no-one really knows what this vehicle does. The only credible explanation I have seen is that it is testing technologies that could find their way on to future satellite missions.
If you consider how expensive a satellite mission is - several hundred million dollars - you'd like to be sure that any innovations are going to work straight out of the box.
By flying early prototypes on the X-37B, you can test these technologies so that when you put them on future satellite missions, you can be sure they will deliver.
Nasa recently agreed to give over work space formerly used to service the shuttles at the Kennedy Space Center to the X-37B programme, which tells us this is a long-term project for the Air Force. Whatever it is they are doing up there, they deem it to be high value.
ROSWELL, N.M.— A well-known computer scientist parachuted from a balloon near the top of the stratosphere on Friday, falling faster than the speed of sound and breaking the world altitude record set just two years ago.
The jump was made by Alan Eustace, 57, a senior vice president of Google. At dawn he was lifted from an abandoned runway at the airport here by a balloon filled with 35,000 cubic feet of helium.
For a little over two hours, the balloon ascended at speeds up to 1,600 feet per minute to an altitude of more than 25 miles. Mr. Eustace dangled underneath in a specially designed spacesuit with an elaborate life-support system. He returned to earth just 15 minutes after starting his fall.
“It was amazing,” he said. “It was beautiful. You could see the darkness of space and you could see the layers of atmosphere, which I had never seen before.”
Mr. Eustace cut himself loose from the balloon with the aid of a small explosive device and plummeted toward the earth at speeds that peaked at 822 miles per hour, setting off a small sonic boom heard by people on the ground.

“It was a wild, wild ride,” he said. “I hugged on to the equipment module and tucked my legs and I held my heading.”
He did not feel or hear the boom as he passed the speed of sound, he said. He performed two slow backflips before a small parachute righted him.
His technical team had designed a carbon-fiber attachment that kept him from becoming entangled in the main parachute before it opened. About four-and-a-half minutes into his flight, he opened the main parachute and glided to a landing 70 miles from the launch site.
“To break an aviation record is incredibly significant,” said Mark Kelly, the former astronaut, who viewed Mr. Eustace’s ascent. “There is an incredible amount of risk. To do it safely is a testament to the people involved.”
Mr. Eustace’s maximum altitude was initially reported as 135,908 feet. Based on information from two data loggers, the final number being submitted to the World Air Sports Federation is 135,890 feet.
The previous altitude record was set by the Austrian daredevil Felix Baumgartner, who jumped from 128,100 feet on Oct. 14, 2012.

Instead, Mr. Eustace planned his jump in secrecy, working for almost three years with a small group of technologists skilled in spacesuit design, life-support systems, and parachute and balloon technology.
He carried modest GoPro cameras aloft, connected to his ground-control center by an off-the-shelf radio.
Although Mr. Baumgartner was widely known for death-defying feats, Mr. Eustace describes himself as an engineer first with a deep commitment to teamwork. He pilots his own Cessna twin-engine jet and has a reputation in Silicon Valley for thrill-seeking.
“Alan is a risk-taker with a passion for details,” said Brian Reid, a computer network specialist who has worked with Mr. Eustace.
After he decided to pursue the project in 2011, Mr. Eustace was introduced to Taber MacCallum, one of the founding members of the Biosphere 2 project, an artificial closed ecosystem built to explore concepts such as space colonization. Mr. Eustace had decided to pursue a simpler approach than Mr. Baumgartner’s.
He asked Mr. MacCallum’s company, Paragon Space Development Corporation, to create a life-support system to make it possible for him to breathe pure oxygen in a pressure suit during his ascent and fall.

Mr. Eustace said Google had been willing to help with the project, but he declined company support, worried that his jump would become a marketing event.
James Hayhurst, director of competition at the United States Parachute Association, who verified the record, described the venture as “legitimate science.”
“I think they’re putting a little lookout tower at the edge of space that the common man can share,” he said.
Mr. Eustace said he gained a love of space and spaceflight while growing up in Orlando, Fla., during the 1960s and 1970s. His family crowded into a station wagon to watch every launch from Cape Canaveral (known as Cape Kennedy during some of that time). A veteran aircraft pilot and parachutist, he worked as a computer hardware designer at Digital Equipment Corporation for 15 years before moving to Google in 2002.
Mr. Eustace said that his technical team designed and redesigned many of the components of his parachute and life-support system during the three-year development phase. Many of the redesigns were the result of technical surprises.
For example, he discovered that in order to control his suit, he was required to make movements that were exactly the opposite of the control motions made by a conventional parachutist. Left movements must be made for rightward motion, for instance, and upward movements for downward motion.
The stratosphere becomes warmer at higher elevations, and the suit designers had to figure out how to keep Mr. Eustace sufficiently cool at the top of the stratosphere, because there is no atmosphere to remove the heat. His suit did not have a cooling system, so it was necessary to make elaborate design modifications to keep dry air in his helmet so that his face plate did not fog.
In order to keep from overheating, Mr. Eustace kept his motions to a minimum during his ascent, including avoiding moving his arm to toggle a radio microphone. Instead, he responded to ground controllers watching him from a camera rigged above his suit by slightly moving one leg to acknowledge their communications.

Earth’s magnetic field could flip within a human lifetime

Imagine the world waking up one morning to discover that all compasses pointed south instead of north.
It’s not as bizarre as it sounds. Earth’s magnetic field has flipped — though not overnight — many times throughout the planet’s history. Its dipole magnetic field, like that of a bar magnet, remains about the same intensity for thousands to millions of years, but for incompletely known reasons it occasionally weakens and, presumably over a few thousand years, reverses direction.
Now, a new study by a team of scientists from Italy, France, Columbia University and the University of California, Berkeley, demonstrates that the last magnetic reversal 786,000 years ago actually happened very quickly, in less than 100 years — roughly a human lifetime.
“It’s amazing how rapidly we see that reversal,” said UC Berkeley graduate student Courtney Sprain. “The paleomagnetic data are very well done. This is one of the best records we have so far of what happens during a reversal and how quickly these reversals can happen.”
Sprain and Paul Renne, director of the Berkeley Geochronology Center and a UC Berkeley professor-in- residence of earth and planetary science, are coauthors of the study, which will be published in the November issue of Geophysical Journal International and is now available online.
Flip could affect electrical grid, cancer rates
The discovery comes as new evidence indicates that the intensity of Earth’s magnetic field is decreasing 10 times faster than normal, leading some geophysicists to predict a reversal within a few thousand years.
Though a magnetic reversal is a major planet-wide event driven by convection in Earth’s iron core, there are no documented catastrophes associated with past reversals, despite much searching in the geologic and biologic record. Today, however, such a reversal could potentially wreak havoc with our electrical grid, generating currents that might take it down.
And since Earth’s magnetic field protects life from energetic particles from the sun and cosmic rays, both of which can cause genetic mutations, a weakening or temporary loss of the field before a permanent reversal could increase cancer rates. The danger to life would be even greater if flips were preceded by long periods of unstable magnetic behavior.
“We should be thinking more about what the biologic effects would be,” Renne said.
Dating ash deposits from windward volcanoes
The new finding is based on measurements of the magnetic field alignment in layers of ancient lake sediments now exposed in the Sulmona basin of the Apennine Mountains east of Rome, Italy. The lake sediments are interbedded with ash layers erupted from the Roman volcanic province, a large area of volcanoes upwind of the former lake that includes periodically erupting volcanoes near Sabatini, Vesuvius and the Alban Hills.
Italian researchers led by Leonardo Sagnotti of Rome’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology measured the magnetic field directions frozen into the sediments as they accumulated at the bottom of the ancient lake.
Sprain and Renne used argon-argon dating, a method widely used to determine the ages of rocks, whether they’re thousands or billions of years old, to determine the age of ash layers above and below the sediment layer recording the last reversal. These dates were confirmed by their colleague and former UC Berkeley postdoctoral fellow Sebastien Nomade of the Laboratory of Environmental and Climate Sciences in Gif-Sur-Yvette, France.
Because the lake sediments were deposited at a high and steady rate over a 10,000-year period, the team was able to interpolate the date of the layer showing the magnetic reversal, called the Matuyama-Brunhes transition, at approximately 786,000 years ago. This date is far more precise than that from previous studies, which placed the reversal between 770,000 and 795,000 years ago.
“What’s incredible is that you go from reverse polarity to a field that is normal with essentially nothing in between, which means it had to have happened very quickly, probably in less than 100 years,” said Renne. “We don’t know whether the next reversal will occur as suddenly as this one did, but we also don’t know that it won’t.”
Unstable magnetic field preceded 180-degree flip
Whether or not the new finding spells trouble for modern civilization, it likely will help researchers understand how and why Earth’s magnetic field episodically reverses polarity, Renne said.
The magnetic record the Italian-led team obtained shows that the sudden 180-degree flip of the field was preceded by a period of instability that spanned more than 6,000 years. The instability included two intervals of low magnetic field strength that lasted about 2,000 years each. Rapid changes in field orientations may have occurred within the first interval of low strength. The full magnetic polarity reversal — that is, the final and very rapid flip to what the field is today — happened toward the end of the most recent interval of low field strength.
Renne is continuing his collaboration with the Italian-French team to correlate the lake record with past climate change.
Renne and Sprain’s work at the Berkeley Geochronology Center was supported by the Ann and Gordon Getty Foundation.

The Mysterious Dogon People And The Knowledge They Learned From The Fish-Like Aliens of Sirius B
(67 Not Out) I have mentioned previously how the Dogon people of West Africa were familiar with the star Sirius B long before the rest of civilisation were aware that it existed.
It is strange how some races of people, often today thought of as primitive, had and have knowledge that seems far beyond their capabilities.
Lets look at the Dogon people first and their strange stories of visitors to earth and how their appearance was ‘fishlike’.
The Dogon people live in Mali, with their nearest town being Timbuktu, and have religious beliefs handed down through the generations. These they say were given to them by visitors from another star system.
The star they refer to is Sirius B (small dot bottom left of photo), which was only ‘discovered’ by the rest of the world in 1844. The Dogon call this star Po Tolo, which means small seed (po) and star (tolo).
They call this the smallest thing there is and that it is the heaviest star and is white in colour. Sirius B cannot be seen by the naked eye – so these facts could not have been observed by the Dogon.
We now know that Sirius B is a small white dwarf star and is extremely dense and heavy. So their knowledge was pretty accurate: the smallness, the heaviness and it’s colour. And also that it orbited Syrius A every 50 years.
They also say there is yet another star in the Sirius system, which they call Emme Ya but this has not been confirmed – as yet – by western astronomers.
The Dogon belief is that the Sirius B was the first star made by God and from it all souls are produced.
Their knowledge came, they say, from the Nommos who visited earth from the Sirius star system.
The Nommos also informed them of facts such as: that Saturn has rings and Jupiter has four moons.
These visitors to earth were amphibious beings and were also called the Masters of the Water. The craft in which they arrived landed ‘after spinning and whirling’.
From the craft came something with four legs, more fishlike than human, that was able to drag the vessel to water, where it floated.
The Nommos became the Dogon’s spiritual guardians. We then get a familiar story:
The Nommo divided his body among men to feed them … they gave all their life principles to human beings.
The Nommos was crucified and resurrected and in the future will visit earth again, this time in human form. Later he will assume his amphibious form and will rule the world from the waters.”
There have been other amphibious visitors, this time according to Babylonian accounts of the Oannes who came to earth to assist the human race. They arrived in an egg shaped vehicle.
In the third century a Babylonian priest, Berossus, recorded a history of Mesopotamia. In this he recorded that the Oannes, “had the shape of a fish blended with that of a man … a complicated form between fish and man.”
He went on to say about the Oannes:
“The whole body of the animal was like that of a fish; and had under a fish’s head, another head and also feet below, similar to those of a man, subjoined to the fish’s tail.
The Being in the daytime used to converse with men, but took no food … he gave them an insight into letters and sciences and every kind of art. He taught them to construct houses, to found temples, to compile laws and explained to them the principles of geometrical knowledge …
When the sun set, it was custom for the being to plunge into the sea, and abide all night in the deep, for he was amphibious.”
There is a further account of amphibian visitors, this time recorded by Saint Photius of Constantinople who tells of a story recounted by the historian Helladius:
“… a man named Oe who came out of the Red Sea having a fish-like body but the head, feet and arms of man, and who taught astronomy and letters. Some accounts say he came out of a great egg, whence his name, and that he was actually a man, but only seemed a fish because he was clothed in the skin of a sea creature.”
So we see similarities between the Dogon, Ooanes and Oe visitors from other stars. They were all amphibious or fish like and arrived in eggs (space crafts). Their coverings could have been a form of space suits.
In each case they meant no harm to human life and imparted knowledge to help human mankind on their way – as did the likes of Jesus and other Masters.
How could the Dogon know about Sirius B? They couldn’t see it, had no instruments – but they still had the knowledge.

What does a comet smell like? Pretty awful, as it turns out. Data from the European Space Agency’s Rosetta probe has revealed that eau de comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko is a mixture of rotten eggs, cat urine and bitter almonds.
This bad smell is actually good news. The molecules behind the odours – hydrogen sulphide, ammonia and hydrogen cyanide – are mixed up with frozen water and carbon dioxide, so Rosetta’s spectrometers weren’t expected to detect such a variety until the comet approached the sun and warmed up. Formaldehyde, methanol and sulphur dioxide are also in the mix.
“It’s really fabulous. You wait 10 years and all of a sudden it’s there,” says Kathrin Altwegg of the University of Bern in Switzerland, who is in charge of Rosetta’s electronic nose, otherwise known as the Rosetta Orbiter Spectrometer for Ion and Neutral Analysis (ROSINA). “What’s surprising is we already have extremely rich chemistry at this distance from the sun.”
When the icy comet heats up further, ROSINA will be able to detect more complex molecules. Altwegg will compare the comet’s molecular make-up to that of other known ice balls in an attempt to determine whether they have a common origin.
Comets are the leftover building blocks from the earlier days of the solar system, and one of the aims for Rosetta is to identify whether they are all made from the same stuff Movie Camera. If some comets differ, that could explain the origin of molecules required to start life on Earth.
As for that smell, the molecules are in very low concentrations so a human standing on 67P probably wouldn’t notice the odour, says Altwegg. “You would probably need a good dog to smell it.” – New Scientist

I remember having a feeling of fallen into the light we have no memory after that.We lost time I remember seeing it from a distance as it made a upside down U shape and shot up in the air so fast.We felt frozen after it disappeared we could feel the air again we could breathe again we could feel our hearts beat again after this occurred birds were chirping in a panic & dogs for miles were barking in a panic.We had vision problems for a few days similar to a welders burn.We don’t know what happened who do you tell without looking like your Looney tunes.We kept it to ourselves. We’ve had several experiences one night I was pulling onto my property I live on acres in the country & caught a clear shaped being running from my vehicle I caught it in my headlights it was clear like the predator movie it turned it’s head at me & disappeared. Just as the US prepares to watch the partial solar eclipse today, nearly 100 million miles away on the sun a possible solar storm is brewing.
Amateur astronomers have been wowed by a vast sunspot that has rotated to face Earth, the largest since this solar cycle began in 2008, and solar observatories (on the ground and orbiting Earth) are closely monitoring the region.
The sunspot, a dark patch in the sun’s photosphere, represents intense solar magnetism bursting from the sun’s interior known as an active region. This particular active region, designated AR2192, has been rumbling with intense flare activity, recently exploding with 2 X-class flares, causing some short-lived high-frequency (HF) radio black outs around the globe.
Such blackouts are triggered by the intense extreme ultraviolet and X-ray radiation that solar flares can generate, causing ionization effects in the Earth’s upper atmosphere — a region known as the ionosphere. HF radio can be strongly hindered by this activity, triggering blackouts that can effect air traffic and amateur radio operators.
Currently, the sunspot located at the base of AR2192 has swelled to over 80,000 miles across — Jupiter could almost fit inside the sunspot’s mottled diameter. Read more at Discovery
Drinking coffee — even decaffeinated coffee — may protect your liver, a large new study has found.
Researchers examined the coffee-drinking habits of 27,793 people who filled out diet questionnaires in a large national health study from 1999 to 2010. The scientists also tracked blood levels of four enzymes that indicate liver function. The study is online in Hepatology.
More than 14,000 of the subjects drank coffee. After controlling for age, sex, race, education, smoking, alcohol consumption and other factors, the researchers found that compared with people who drank no coffee, those who drank three cups a day were about 25 percent less likely to have abnormal liver enzyme levels. Among the more than 2,000 who drank only decaffeinated coffee, the results were similar.
The reason for the effect is unclear. “There are more than a thousand compounds in coffee,” said the lead author, Qian Xiao, a cancer prevention fellow at the National Cancer Institute. “There are a few candidates, but I don’t know which is responsible.”
Should those who do not drink coffee start doing so? “This is an observational study and not designed to determine cause and effect,” Dr. Xiao said. “So based on this study, I wouldn’t make any recommendations. But it is reassurance that coffee and decaf are not harmful to liver function.” – NY Times
