Besides providing hours of entertainment related to traffic incidents, Russian dash cams have the added benefit of catching unexplained phenomena that seem to happen with increasing regularity. What’s going on, Russia?
On March 17, residents of the city of Stavropol in southern Russia witnessed a strange event. A little over midnight, a silent flash of light briefly illuminated the night sky. One driver who happened to be in the right place at the right time caught the whole thing and shared it with the rest of the world, prompting a heated discussion.
The blue flash of light was dead silent but caused a few problems. According to witness reports, streetlights went out and apparently the power grid was affected as many people said the light in their homes flickered for some time after the event.
This behavior has led some to believe that the flash could have produced some sort electromagnetic disturbance, creating uneasiness among the residents of Stavropol.
One possible explanation for the flash is the explosion of an electrical system. However, the absence of a boom that would accompany such an explosion meant the cause lies elsewhere. Also, the local authorities made no report of an accident taking place.
Northern Lights were also ruled out due to to the intensity and duration of the flash. It couldn’t have been caused by a meteor either, because 1) none were reported and 2) there was no bang.
The Russian Hydrometeorological center stated that the burst of light could not be“attributed to nature” and that no unusual meteorological phenomena were recorded during the night of March 17. They believe the source of the light was ground-based.
People are clueless about the nature of this flash and multiple explanations have been put forward. Many of them are linked to the military exercises that took place in Stavropol last week. The Russian Ministry of Defense gave no comments.
Other possible explanations include extraterrestrial space crafts, electromagnetic weapons and HAARP experiments. Pick your favorite.

The woman called him by name and said she had come a long way to see him and speak to him.
“She said she knew where I had come from,” Howard recalled, “and what my purpose would be here on Earth. She and her people had observed me for a long time and in ways I would not quickly understand. When she spoke of her ‘people,’ I still could not understand they were from another planet. I seemed to be encompassed by the very glow, almost visible, that emanated from her presence. I have often tried to describe it as like seeing a Technicolor movie in three dimensions and being a part of the action in the film.”

Again, the mysterious woman called Howard by name and said, “We are contacting our own,” words that Howard said would bring more joy and take on more meaning as he grew older. “It is no fault of yours, Howard, that you cannot understand everything. Do not worry,” she comforted him. Then her face took on an air of sadness, and she spoke of grave changes, destruction and torment that would move as a dark cloud over the country and the world. Before departing, the woman said he would see her again but it might not be for a long time. Howard returned to the same spot again often but the lady never reappeared.
Later, while an adult serving in the army, Howard was on vacation in Mexico when he encountered a man with shoulder-length blond hair sitting in a cab that Howard had just hailed. The blond man spoke to him without moving his lips, telepathically, and told Howard that he had been selected for a series of contacts with the aliens.
The alien warned Howard that his life might be in danger during his military service but it would never be necessary for him to kill anyone. This prophecy later came true when Howard was attacked by a Japanese soldier who came at him with a razor-sharp bayonet, cutting a hole in Howard’s tent in the middle of the night. Howard began firing at the enemy soldier, wounding him, but not mortally.
Howard would bump into his space friends nearly everywhere he went. They looked human enough, but there was just something odd about their appearance – something a bit “off” perhaps – that convinced him these visitors meant what they said when they claimed to be from other planets. They intimated to Howard that he had been selected to become a contactee because he had some of the same benevolent qualities about him that they had.
After the war, Howard returned to New Jersey and his contacts increased. He met them in his home as well as outdoors in several remote rendezvous spots where he had been told to go. On a number of occasions, he carried a camera with him to record some of their aerial activities. He even managed to get some still photos of the beings approaching him, backlit by the brightly illuminated exterior of their ship and creating eerie shadows.
As the years went on, Howard would gain fame as a contactee, perhaps second only to George Adamski, and would write a book called “From Outer Space To You” that remains a classic in its genre. Though controversy continues about whether Howard was part of a government “silence” group intent on muddying the waters regarding the truth about the flying saucer phenomenon, his many photos are still with us, and a goodly selection of those are featured in “UFO Repeaters.”
Coauthor Tim Beckley admits that he is predisposed to believing in Howard's fanciful stories because “he was such a charming individual . . . the type of guy who doesn't seem capable of lying to you.” Beckley says he lived down the road from Howard and often heard chatter from others who had “seen and heard things” on and around Howard’s property, despite the fact that they didn't really hook up with Howard himself. His rural neighbors pretty much kept to themselves but had witnessed enough to be capable of verifying some of the strange happenings said to have transpired in the apple orchard out back of Howard’s Highbridge, New Jersey, home.

Like the legendary Swiss contactee, Billy Meier, Paul Villa was an unassuming gentleman of modest means who happened to capture some striking UFO photos. Paul had no axe to grind and no desire for publicity or fame. As so often happens in the world of UFO encounters, Paul did not find the flying saucer phenomenon; it found him.
Paul told UFO investigators that he would receive a telepathic message telling him to be at a certain location, usually somewhere near his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. When he arrived at the designated place, the aliens would essentially “pose” for him while he took photos with a Japanese-made camera and standard Kodak film.
Paul Villa has taken some remarkable photos of UFOs hovering over his truck as well as a photo of a ship preparing to touch down on tripod landing gears.
The result of those efforts is a beautiful series of full color photos depicting the flying saucers in all their glory. According to UFO researcher Wendelle Stevens, Paul’s photos are quite sharp compared to most photos of that era, which was the 1960s through the 1970s. The image size of the saucers is large enough to show good detail and the fact that Paul’s truck is in the foreground of some of the photos provides a known object with which to compare the size of the saucer and to judge its distance away from the camera.
Paul was born in 1916 of Native American/Spanish descent. He did not complete the tenth grade but had a good working knowledge of mathematics, physics, electricity and mechanics and was particularly gifted at detecting defects in engines and generators.
In 1953, while he was employed by the Department of Water and Power in Los Angeles, Paul encountered a man about seven feet tall who called him by name and could read his mind as well as knowing a great many facts about Paul’s past. The spaceman invited Paul to come aboard a metallic-looking, disc-shaped object floating on the water nearby and Paul agreed to go.
For Paul, the aliens were entirely human-looking, though more uniformly attractive than Earth people and definitely more refined in face and form. They took Paul on a tour of the saucer and said they are here on a friendly mission to help Earth people. As his contact experiences continued through the years, Paul was eventually invited to photograph the ships. The aliens flew their craft slowly and hovered as Paul snapped away. In the mid-1960s, the photos began to draw the interest of flying saucer organizations, who debated the pictures’ authenticity and even at times tried to prove Paul to be a fraud.
The photos Paul took are breathtaking to look at and do appear to show genuine flying saucers set against lovely desert scenery. There are varying types of ships from photo to photo, which is consistent with UFO witness accounts since the 1940s and has led some analysts to think we are being visited by several different alien races and civilizations.
The notoriety that came with being chosen to take the photos did not make life easy for Paul, however. When he stopped at a local tavern one evening on his way home from work and sat sipping a beer, a stranger walked up and drew Paul’s blood with a punch in nose. His assailant called Paul crazy for “talking to spacemen.” On top of that, unwelcome curiosity seekers would descend on his family home and take “souvenirs” with them when they left. All the various forms of harassment necessitated relocating his family on several occasions.
Paul died in 1980 at age 64. Some of his photos were never made public, including a series that was reportedly taken on another planet. We may never know everything the UFO occupants revealed to Paul, but the idea that there is further photographic evidence of his to be seen is certainly a tantalizing one.
PERHAPS THE PHOTOS ARE FREELY GIVEN?
“UFO Repeaters” also includes photos by and the personal histories of other people who were selected to photograph flying saucers and, on occasion, their occupants. Ellen Crystall, Ed Walters, Joe Ferriere, Marc Brinkerhoff – the list goes on – were all at one time “brought into the fold,” so to speak, and produced a continual stream of photos that implies that there is some kind of mutual trust and, in some cases, an apparently loving relationship with the beings flying the ships at work here.
Why are these Repeaters granted this kind of privileged status with the UFO occupants? Why do the aliens seem to cancel the “terror factor” in certain cases and instead establish a caring, compassionate bond with some experiencers that continues throughout the mortal’s entire life? The vagaries of how these alien choices are made continue to elude us.
But, in the meantime, Global Communications can offer you this: a book that takes the stories behind these photographs and the people that took them basically at face value. There is no reason to doubt the photos’ authenticity, and many have long ago passed muster with photo analysis experts who were forced to concede that – whether or not there really IS an alien presence – the photos themselves were not the result of tampering or tricks.
The aliens have chosen to reveal their existence in many ways since Kenneth Arnold’s 1947 sighting started the ball rolling in the modern era. If this is so, why would occasional genuine photos not be part of that overall mix? The Amazing Kreskin, world-renowned mentalist, has launched a dating website where people who believe in UFOs, aliens, ghosts, or any other supernatural topic can find like minded people. He is calling it The Amazing Kreskin’s Supernatural Dating Society, and it went live this week.
The website says it is for anyone with “interest in anything that defies a conventional explanation (and I really mean anything).” It notes that many times people keep these sorts of interests secret. It further states, “Makes no difference whether it’s visitations by aliens, haunted houses, extra sensory perception, astrology, mind control, curses, spirit healing, vampires, zombies, prophecy, contacting the dead, mind reading and anything in between.”

Kreskin says on the site that many people do not respect people with strange beliefs, so he is doing his part to get like minded people together.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Kreskin went into more detail about the site. He said that many people expressed interest in the paranormal and wanted to meet others to participate in activates such as ghost hunting and UFO spotting. Although he says he does not believe in “alien landings,” he says he has talked to many people about UFOs.
He told Cosmopolitan, “The other area, which is gigantic, is the UFO area. There are people who would like to go to sites — and listen, I don’t happen to believe in alien landings, but some people do. As far as UFOs, I talk to too many pilots that have had planes tracked; they told me stories; they said, ‘Kreskin, if we went back and made this public, we’d probably lose our jobs because the company would say, ‘You’re acting crazy,” or what have you. They want to go with someone they know feels the same way.”

Kreskin says he is too busy to date himself. He says he travels the world and has never had time to settle down. He turned 80 recently, but he says if he had settled down, he would have had plenty of children.
Although he might not be on the site dating, he says he will make regular contributions. He says, “I’m going to make some commentary every week or two on what seems to be the dominant thing people are wanting to read about, whether it’s a UFO thing or something else, and then I can give my own experiences and so forth. I like to keep on top of things.”
When asked if there are certain types of people who visit his site that should be careful because they might not make a good match, Kreskin had a warning for people who believe they may have been visited by aliens. He said, “It would not be as good a match if someone felt they had been visited by an alien and then they met someone who is interested in mainly telepathic phenomena, where they’re able to perceive thoughts of people that they know at a distance, because one of the areas, the aliens, is somebody else coming into their mind or life. Whether they’re influencing them or controlling them. The other person is not interested in someone coming into their life and controlling them if they’re interested in someone they can communicate with mentally or telepathically or what have you. So one could be a contradiction to the other and it could cause a conflict. I’m not advising people on who to meet and who not to meet. This is part of the excitement of life. But sometimes, I would maybe give them a warning.”
I am not quite sure what he meant there, but perhaps someone who has had an alien experience would. Either way, his dating site is reasonably priced. It is around $15 (US) a month for a Premium membership and $20 for VIP.
I went on the site to see if there are people registered yet, and there seem to be quite a few. Although, some of the users I suspected are not real and seeded there to get things started. For instance, one lady says she has already met people “sexually and socially” on the site, even though it has only been active for a few days. Either she works really fast, or her profile is meant to inspire supernatural daters, or both.
Incidentally, my profile was rejected. It could be because I listed myself as a writer who was just checking out the site, or there could be some larger conspiracy afoot. Fortunately, I am spoken for. I do my supernatural dating at UFO conferences.

Een jaar lang zonder verschil tussen onder en boven. Zo ziet het leven van twee ruimtevaarders er voorlopig uit. De Amerikaan Scott Kelly en de Rus Michail Kornienko gaan als eersten een heel jaar in het internationale ruimtestation ISS wonen. De Rus Padalka vertrekt samen met hen, maar blijft niet voor een jaar.

Kelly en Kornienko vertrekken morgen vanaf ruimtebasis Bajkonoer in Kazachstan. Aan boord van de Sojoez-capsule is ook de Rus Gennadi Padalka. De lancering is om 20.42 uur Belgische tijd. Ongeveer 6 uur later komen de drie aan bij het ISS. Padalka keert in september terug op aarde, Kelly en Kornienko blijven tot maart 2016.
De missie moet duidelijk maken hoe lichaam en geest omgaan met zo'n lange tijd van afzondering in gewichtloosheid. De zwaartekracht is er minimaal, mensen lopen niet maar zweven. Hoe hard ruimtevaarders tijdens de missie ook trainen, hun spieren gaan achteruit en botten beginnen te ontkalken. Ook de ogen worden minder.
Het onderzoek op Kelly, Kornienko en hun opvolgers moet helpen bij de voorbereiding van toekomstige missies. De Verenigde Staten willen volgend decennium weer mensen naar de maan brengen. Dat is een reis van een paar dagen, maar anders dan in het ISS moeten de astronauten op de maan rondlopen. De volgende stap is een missie naar Mars, over enkele tientallen jaren. Dat zou heen en terug minstens anderhalf jaar duren.
Een wereldrecord gaan Kelly en Kornienko overigens niet breken. De Sovjet-Unie en Rusland stuurden in de jaren tachtig en negentig geregeld mensen ongeveer een jaar de ruimte in. Zo woonde de Rus Valeri Poljakov van januari 1994 tot maart 1995 in het ruimtestation Mir, een periode van 437 dagen. Een paar jaar later ging een Rus 380 dagen naar de Mir.
Speciaal detail: Scott Kelly heeft een tweelingbroer, Mark. Hij is ook een astronaut, maar blijft op de aarde zodat NASA een "tweelingexperiment" kan doen. Na de missie zal NASA de broers, met identiek DNA, vergelijken, opnieuw om concrete uitspraken te kunnen doen over de impact van een ruimtereis op het menselijk lichaam.

Als een buitenaards schip met bijna de lichtsnelheid de aarde nadert kunnen we het met de huidige technologie detecteren, zo zeggen wetenschappers. Hun studie laat ook zien dat reizen in de buurt van de lichtsnelheid niet zonder gevaar is. Bij een botsing met een korreltje stof zou een kracht vrijkomen die gelijk staat aan de ontploffing van 2400 kilogram TNT.
Ingenieurs Ulvi Yurtsever en Steven Wilkinson van defensie-aannemer Raytheon in Californië zeggen dat ruimteschepen bij snelheden rond de lichtsnelheid interacteren met de kosmische achtergrondstraling. Deze microgolfstraling zou kort na het ontstaan van het heelal zijn uitgezonden.
Ruimteschepen die met hoge snelheden door het heelal reizen komen in aanraking met fotonen die deel uitmaken van de kosmische achtergrondstraling, waardoor er hoogenergetische gammastraling ontstaat, citeert MIT Technology Review het tweetal.
De onderzoekers schatten dat elke vierkante centimeter ruimte meer dan 400 micrgolffotonen bevat. Dat zou betekenen dat ruimteschepen iedere seconde in botsing zouden komen met duizenden miljarden fotonen, waarbij elektron-positron paren ontstaan. Deze paren zouden een ruimteschip afremmen.
Als dit soort ‘relativistische’ ruimteschepen door de interstellaire ruimte schieten, laten ze een vingerafdruk achter die met de huidige generatie telescopen te zien moet zijn. Ze worden zo genoemd omdat de relativiteitstheorie van Einstein aan de basis van het idee ligt. Einstein ontdekte dat naarmate voorwerpen versnellen in de ruimte, de snelheid aan welke de tijd voor hen passeert, vertraagt. Dat effect is verwaarloosbaar in bijvoorbeeld vliegtuigen, maar bij ruimtetuigen die rond 98 procent van de lichtsnelheid vliegen is het wel bijzonder sterk.

Eén van de grotere mysteries op aarde is misschien wel het fenomeen van de oranje bollen.
Langzaam en zonder geluid verschijnen ze wereldwijd aan de hemel en niemand weet wat het zijn.
Zo langzamerhand hebben we een aardig dossier met verschijningen van oranje bollen. Iets dat nu al jaren duurt en tot op de dag van vandaag doorgaat.
Enkele voorbeelden:
We ontvingen een aantal mooie foto’s van Patrick van de website Above our Heads, waarop heel duidelijk de bekende oranje bollen te zien zijn.
Ook op andere plaatsen worden ze waargenomen, zoals in de volgende video die eerder deze maand is opgenomen in het Zwitserse Bern.
Ook de volgende opname, gemaakt enkele weken geleden in de Chileense stad Antofagasta, is bijzonder. Je ziet een oranje bol die als het ware boven een hotel gaat hangen.
Wanneer het beeld enigszins wordt uitvergroot, blijkt dat deze oranje bol bestaat uit een soort cluster van kleinere bollen.
Kortom, ze blijven maar komen. En zolang ze dat doen en er geen antwoord is gevonden op de vraag wat het zijn, zullen wij ze blijven publiceren.

A mysterious humanoid UFO was caught in a video footage maneuvering in the skies above the city of Puerto Maldonado in Peru earlier in March. Posted on March 15 by Dr. Anthony Choy, the video has since garnered a number of views.
Choy is an investigative journalist and radio producer as well as the host of Viaje a Otra Dimension radio program. He is also the Peruvian Association of Ufology’s (APU) national coordinator. He is believed to be influential in forcing the Peruvian government to release classified UFO documents.
The UFO in the video is said to be the same with the November 2010 sighting widely known as Flying Humanoid Encounter. The video, recorded by television and radio producer Cesar Rodriguez, shows a flying humanoid with apparent head, torso, arms, and legs. After 5 minutes of sighting, the unusual object simply vanished into the clouds over the city.
The South American skies have been flown by UFOs lately. Just a couple of days ago, a UFO was observed during an evening news in Columbia. Earlier in March, a flying object was caught on cam by a television crew during a TV show.
There have been many UFO sighting reports in the skies of Brazil and Argentina. The latest sightings left many baffled. Since convincing answers are yet to be given, those recent UFOs remain unidentified.

A video that was allegedly shot near the remote Area 51 military installation in the Nevada desert shows what appears to be an unidentified disc-shaped craft being transported on a semi’s trailer.
This one-minute-thirty-five-second video was uploaded to YouTube on March 24 by user TheMrKikiriki with the title, “UFO Being Towed in Nevada near Area 51.” No description accompanies this video. But it clearly shows a convoy of vehicles, including what could be police vehicles, escorting a semi truck hauling a platform trailer. On this trailer is a seemingly exposed aircraft that bears a striking resemblance to a classic flying saucer.

Based on the video’s audio, the individual who recorded the video used his cell phone to capture the moment the convoy passed the gas station where he and another male individual were stopped. And, based on their dialog, they felt it necessary to be discrete with their filming of the unidentified object.
It seems unlikely that the military, or some secret government agency, would transport a secret aircraft, especially an extraterrestrial spacecraft, in the open for anyone to see. Perhaps that unlikeliness would make it the perfect way to transport something so incredible. It’s also possible that the object is simply a fabricated flying saucer created for display purposes at some Nevada business along the Extraterrestrial Highway.
But another likely possibility is that the craft seen in the video is the X-47B unmanned drone aircraft made by Northrop Grumman.

The X-47b made headlines in 2012 when a craft was being transported by truck from West Virginia to Maryland. The craft in that instance was also transported on a platform trailer, packaged with a form-fitting cover. If you look closely at the craft in the recent video, it also appears to have a form-fitting cover.
Although the identification isn’t conclusive, based on the nearly identical appearance of the craft to photos of X-47bs in transit, the object allegedly recorded near Area 51 is likely an X-47b unmanned aircraft and not an alien spacecraft.

Cult sci-fi show The X-Files is to return to TV after a 13-year hiatus.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will reprise their roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully for the six-part series.
Original creator Chris Carter will be at the helm when production starts this summer.
It is not yet known when it will air on TV.
The show, which ran for nine seasons from 1993-2002, saw Mulder and Scully investigate unsolved mysteries and paranormal cases.
More than 200 episodes of the The X-Files were made, making it one of the longest-running sci-fi series in US network TV history. Two feature films were also made – in 1998 and 2008.

March 26, 2015 - Scientists recently observed a form of ice that's never been seen before, after sandwiching water between two layers of an unusual two-dimensional material called graphene.
It's the latest surprise from the lab of a guy who is perhaps best-known for levitating a frog in a magnetic field, even though it's his groundbreaking work with graphene that won him a Nobel Prize.
Graphene is a flat sheet of carbon atoms arranged in a structure that looks like chicken wire. Andre Geim, who is a physicist at the University of Manchester in the U.K., and a colleague were the first to isolate this molecule — using plain old adhesive tape to peel flakes off a chunk of ordinary graphite, the stuff found in pencils.
Graphene has a lot of odd properties, so Geim and his team recently decided to explore how it interacts with water.
They took a sheet of graphene, put a tiny drop of water on it, then laid another sheet of graphene on top. Most of the water was squeezed out, but some got trapped inside. The researchers examined the little pockets of trapped water using a form of microscopy that can reveal the pattern of molecules.
What they saw was that the water molecules were arranged in a lattice of squares.
Geim said that a couple of years ago, they did some theoretical work that suggested they might see square, room temperature ice, though he didn't think they actually would.
"To our own surprise, we found exactly what theory predicted: an ice which is only 1 atom thick," Geim says.
And we know almost nothing about the behavior of water in these tiny, confined spaces, Geim says. "Until recently, we didn't even know that the structure of water would be so different from the structure of conventional ice, when it goes to the nanoscale."

March 26, 2015 - Located in the middle of the Inga River, not far away from the Brazilian city of Inga, stands one of the most interesting archaeological findings in Brazil.
Also called the Itacoatiara do Ingá its translation is stone in the Tupi language.
The inga stone covers an area of two-hundred and fifty square meters. It is a vertical construction of 46 meters long and up to 3.8 meters high.
The Inga stone displays carvings that are even today waiting to be deciphered. Researchers have found several carvings, figures, fruits, animals and other unknown figures, but most importantly carved on the Inga stone are the Milky way and the constellation of Orion.
According to research, this incredible archaeological site located in Brazil dates back at least 6,000 years. It is one of the main attraction for archaeologists and anthropologists around the world.
The inga stone is a geological formation from Gneiss (common and widely distributed type of rock formed by high-grade regional metamorphic processes from pre-existing formations that were originally either igneous or sedimentary rocks.
It is often foliated (composed of layers of sheet-like planar structures). The foliations are characterized by alternating darker and lighter colored bands, called “gneissic banding”.)
The carvings of the Inga Stone remain a mystery but some symbols have been identified and accepted throughout the archaeological community. Some researchers argue that the Inga Stone has a Phoenician origin, but this theory has not been confirmed.
Brazilian researcher Gabriele Baraldi has spent great time in studying the encrypted messages at the Inga stone, according to hist theory, the Inga Stone carvings are proof of unknown ancient technology.
Even though it is a beautifully designed complex, it is not unique as the geometrical style of the Inga Stone is present in other Brazilian engravings that have a very similar style, but none of them are as famous and interesting as the Inga Stone.
Archaeologists state that the engravings on the stone have been performed with incredible precision and the details reveal a superb technique used by very skilled artists who certainly were very gifted and capable of creating these amazing engravings.
There are numerous rocks that are found around the Inga Stone, but none of them match nor resemble the style used at the Inga Stone, making it a unique product of ancient craftsmanship.
Like many other monuments around the world, the Inga stone has suffered vandalism. Many other stones in the vicinity were destroyed in the 1950’s to pave the streets of the state capital of Paraiba. Weather conditions and other factors are also to blame.
The Inga Stone has lost many of its original symbols due to the fact the engravings have lost thickness. These unusual but aesthetically unusual engravings are proof of technically sophisticated methods which has lead researchers to question the origin of these engravings.
Researchers suggest that the native Indians lacked metal tools to be able to record the engravings on the stone, some researchers have postulated that the engravings of the Inga stone were created by the Phoenicians or aborigines of Easter Island.
Symbols of the Inga stone show a degree of stylistic resemblance to symbols found at Easter Island with both of them representing curved style geometry but according to researchers this is the only similarity found between them.
Even though one can find resemblance of geometrical shape between the Inga Stone and other ancient cultures, it does not necessarily point towards a connection between the cultures. Some researchers have even proposed that the Inga Stone is proof of extraterrestrial contact.
The Inga stone is related to celestial phenomena due to the fact that several constellations have been depicted on the surface, making it one of the oldest astronomical records found in Brazil.
From the study of native tribes of Brazil, researchers have concluded that Brazilian natives were generally related to supernatural animals, the representation of stars and constellations was not a frequent practice by native Brazilians.
For the Ticunas from Eastern Amazonia, the celestial phenomena is highly related to the “footprints left by manuals that now inhabit the heavens”.
Researchers state that depictions of stars and celestial objects is more connected mythologically than astronomically, but this is a ongoing debate between researchers.

According to MUFON Case file #64048 eyewitness testimony, I was driving from my home in Kerrytown toward a pharmacy on S. Industrial Parkway on 18th March, 2015. While driving down S. State Street toward Eisenhower Parkway at roughly 10:25pm Eastern, I noticed in my periphery to the West (looking left) a redish-orange circle above the roofs of the houses on the left side of the street just as I was approaching the traffic light at Stimson Street. At first I thought it might be a helicopter, since there is a good bit of that type of traffic to University of Michigan hospital.

Many UFO sightings have been reported near the volcano Colima in Mexico. Once again a webcam captured a UFO next to the volcano.
The UFO appears at the same time as a really amazing lenticular ‘UFO’ cloud hovers over the top of the volcano.
In addition, a strange phenomenon occurs at the top of the volcano, it is not clear whether it is a reflection of light or something related to the UFO phenomenon. See video.

Scott Waring, un ufologue, a téléchargé une vidéo sur Youtube. Obsédé par les extraterrestres, il s'est mis en quête de les retrouver. Il explique, dans une capsule de six minutes, comment apercevoir une soucoupe volante avec un "alien" à son bord sur Google Earth.
"Vous pouvez voir qu'il y a un objet avec une tête arrondie qui sort de la partie supérieure", explique-t-il. "Pour moi, cela ressemble à une tête grise d'un alien à bord de sa soucoupe. La courbure ressemble à un énorme crâne. Un crâne géant avec un petit menton."
Nous avons vérifié, la forme est bel et bien visible sur Google Earth (Cherchez Trout Creek, Montana, allez sur le pont et placez-y le bonhomme orange, regardez le ciel, vous distinguerez la forme). Pour certains, la forme de l'extraterrestre prétendue serait celle de la lune, quelque peu déformée. Pour d'autres, il s'agirait simplement d'un souci lors de la prise de vue, un reflet dans la caméra.

Une vidéo mise en ligne sur YouTube montre un OVNI stationnant près de l’ISS. C’est grâce à des caméras externes placées sur la station internationale par la Nasa que le phénomène a pu être observé.
En plaçant des caméras sur la Station Spatiale Internationale (ISS) au début du mois, la Nasa ne se doutait certainement pas que les internautes reporteraient des apparitions d’OVNI. Diffusées en streaming 24h/24, les images offrent principalement des vues splendides de la Terre.
Le mercredi 13 mai, un site spécialisé en ufologie a mis en ligne une vidéo montrant un OVNI aux abords de la station.
L’objet, en forme de cigare, stationne pendant sept minutes à côté de la l'ISS et émet des lumières différentes avant de s’évanouir dans l’espace.
Deuxième apparition en quatre jours
La théorie la plus plausible serait un effet d’optique provoqué par des parasites dans l’objectif de la caméra.
Les chasseurs d’OVNI affirment quant à eux que cette vidéo est la preuve que les extraterrestres observent la planète, et l’ISS.
Le 9 mai, une autre apparition d’OVNI filmée par les caméras externes de la station avait été mise en ligne.

During an archaeological diggings at Tushpa (today called Toprakkale), Turkey in 1973, archaeologists discovered a precious stone artifact, of which estimated age is about 3000 years old, though some experts cast doubt on its age.
The object – made of a soft yellowish brown stone – was investigated by the famous researcher and author Zecharia Sitchin who describes the artifact as follows:
- “The object itself is a sculpted scale model of what, to modern eyes, looks like a cone-nosed space vehicle, 23 cm long, 9.5 cm high, and 8 cm wide (about 5.7, 3.8, and 3.5 inches respectively). It is powered by a cluster of four exhaust engines in the back surrounding a larger exhaust engine. And in its center, the rocketship has room for a sole pilot—a pilot [unfortunately headless] who is actually shown and included in the sculpture…” “ The Earth Chronicles Expeditions“.
Is this small artifact physical proof of ancient extraterrestrial visitations witnessed at Tushpa? Was this spacecraft present in the sky over the Urartian kingdom, millennia ago – or was the object a clever, modern forgery?
If so, it has not any scientific or historical value, according to Sitchin, who gives more detailed description of the object in his book.
- “He sits with his legs bent up toward his chest. He wears a ribbed pressure suit; it is a one-piece suit that completely hugs the body. Down the legs and at the feet, it becomes bootlike. It extends and fully covers the folded arms, becoming glovelike where the hands are. The ribbed and presumably flexible suit encloses the whole torso—up to the pilot’s neck..”
How did the suit continue thereafter? Did it become some kind of a head cover, did it stop at the neck with the head exposed, or did the pilot wear a separate helmet or some other kind of protective headgear?
And why does the pilot’s head is missing?
The place, Tushpa, where the object was unearthed is particularly interesting. In the 9th century BC, Tushpa was the capital of the kingdom of Urartu, known as Ararat from the Bible.
The kingdom was located 5 km / 3 miles in the east of Lake Van, a vast inland sea located in the region of eastern Anatolia, Turkey near the border of Iran and the second largest in the Middle East.
There can be found the remains of the Temple of the Urartian God Haldi (Khaldi), the supreme sky god.
His original character as a god of vegetation and fertility was developed by giving him a new role as the national god of Urartu.
Haldi was an engineer in charge of the irrigation canals and the regular flow of water.
In the first millennium B.C., Urartu was a major kingdom, a rival of Assyria to its south. It was powerful and the walls of the ancient Urartian fortress, Toprakkale, were built with cyclopean masonry, which means without mortar, with huge stone blocks only.
The citadel – a high precipitous rock formation of crystalline limestone which rises abruptly out of the plain – extends for a mile from east to west, though only two hundred yards wide at most.
Considering the geological variety of the area around the lake and the absence of such limestone elsewhere near the shore, except at Van citadel itself, it seems clear that – heavy blocks, weighing up to forty tons each and with a bulk of over five cubic metres – must have “traveled” in a special way from a quarry to the construction place at Tushpa.
What was this “special way” of transportation and what is the connection between Tushpa and “the headless spaceman in the rocketship”?
This extraordinary and unique artifact is stored in the Istanbul Archaeological Museum, but not on exhibit. Why?
No one knows – there is no official statement about it.

We’re already halfway through 2013 and the world continues to wake up to the fact that we are not alone in the universe. This year alone we’ve seen a tremendous step forward regarding UFO disclosure.
In early May, researchers, activists, political leaders and high ranking military/ agency personnel from around the world testified to the reality of the UFO/ extraterrestrial phenomenon in front of several former United States members of congress.

Prior to the recent hearing on UFOs and extraterrestrial life, we’ve had explosive statements made by NASA astronauts and professors, you can watch some of those statements here
Not only has the world heard from all of these credible people, its also been privy to official documentation released by dozens of governments worldwide that outline the reality of the UFO phenomenon.
Documents indicate that UFOs are of concern to governments, and they put a significant amount of time, effort and resources into studying them. Apart from governments, agencies like the National Security Agency also released official files regarding UFOs, you can view some of these previously classified documents here.
It’s now a fact that UFOs are tracked on radar, performing maneuvers that defy our idea of physics. Jets are constantly scrambled to take a closer look at them. This is no longer a conspiracy theory, it’s a fact. Release of files began early in 2007 with the UK, among others.

The UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon is extremely top secret, access to this type of documentation and the deeper truth behind it is almost impossible. CIA directors, presidents and other high ranking officials barely have any access to these programs.
That being said, all of the information that’s already out in the public domain is overwhelming. It makes you wonder how far down the rabbit hole this topic goes.
As most of the world today already knows, Wikileaks is an international, online, non-profit organization that publishes secret information, news leaks, and classified material from anonymous sources.
They’ve been a tremendous threat to the controlling elite for a number of years, and have gained the attention of major mainstream media outlets worldwide.
For the most part, these mainstream media outlets have bashed Assange, pointing to the idea that the release of classified documents is a threat to national security. That’s not true, it’s more like a threat to the truth that the elite try to cover up on a daily basis that would threaten their ability to control the human race.
Since a large amount of official documentation has already been released, documents from the Wikileaks cables shouldn’t come as a big surprise. Assange has already mentioned that there are yet to be published cables that make reference to UFOs.

Not only do these cables raise an eyebrow, but a statement given by Julian Assange himself raises the need for further inquiry. The audio on the video is delayed. What points to this interview being real?
For one, if you can read lips it’s not hard to follow. Secondly, it sounds exactly like Julian. Thirdly, multiple mainstream media outlets (Telegraph, CBS news and more) published the original version of the video which was taken down immediately.
One of the mainstream media outlets was Forbes, you can view that poorly written article here in which you will see access to the video has been cut off. Articles written by major media outlets are usually very poor, and do their best to ridicule the subject of UFOs.
The original version had perfect audio, the same sound and was in the same setting.
It’s not surprising that that the U.S. ambassador in Canada was concerned with this group. High level agencies are also concerned with abductees and ET contactees.
Their mail is stamped in a special way, they are constantly surveyed by army intelligence, phone tapping and are also confronted by ‘men in black’ (intelligence officers). Agencies that are active in the UFO phenomenon keep close tabs on UFO/extraterrestrial activity outside of their sphere of influence.
That being said, again, it’s no surprise that the U.S. ambassador had an interest in this ‘UFO cult.’ Anything extraterrestrial would be a concern to the elite, as they are the ones active in the cover up.
We are living in an extremely unique time, our world has become much more transparent than ever before. One aspect of multiple realizations is the UFO/ extraterrestrial phenomenon, but it seems to branch into every aspect of our reality depending on how far down the rabbit hole you want to go.
Our perception of life on other planets largely comes from external sources like television programming. As a result, many are filled with fear when giving thought to this subject.
Hopefully as we move through the shift in consciousness the planet is currently experiencing, fear will dissipate as it will no longer serve the human race. This is undoubtedly one of the largest realizations in human history.

Now, according to a new study, this could happen much sooner than anyone expected—although still on the order of billions of years away.
For nearly a century, cosmologists have been obsessed with the question of whether gravity will eventually cause the universe to collapse in on itself in a reversal of the Big Bang, or if it will expand forever until the stars burn out. Or as Robert Frost put it, end in fire or ice.

If the universe is not only expanding, but accelerating in its expansion because a powerful force is overcoming gravity at large distances, then how could it ever reverse? Instead, the dispersion might be expected to happen faster and faster until the galaxies, and maybe individual stars, lose touch with each other.
In Physical Review Letters, however, two physicists have attempted to answer the still-unsolved question of what dark energy actually is. Their model suggests dark energy will dominate the universe shortly before a “turnaround,” leading to an eventual collapse. While they cannot set a date on when this turnaround will occur, a natural choice for the strengths of forces suggests it could be quite soon.
“A single, technically natural choice for the slope ensures that the collapse is imminent and is preceded by the current stage of cosmic acceleration,” write physicists Nemanja Kaloper from the University of California, Davis, and Antonio Padilla of the University of Nottingham.
While their solution is elegant, it is not clear whether Kaloper and Padilla are actually describing the universe we live in. "It's way too early to say if it will stand the test of time, but so far it has stood up to scrutiny,” Padilla told Phys.org.
The work relies on a previous paper by the pair, which tackled the question of why observations of the size of the cosmological constant are wildly out of keeping with modeled results. Their solution is vacuum energy sequestering, an idea they describe as a “very simple reformulation of General Relativity” where the energy that exists everywhere (vacuum energy density) in the universe is prevented from contributing to the curvature of the universe, and therefore influencing gravity. The work makes the cosmological constant equal to the average of all the matter energy density in the universe that has, or will, exist.

March 26, 2015 - A team from Princeton University and the University of Florence in Italy has discovered a quasicrystal—so named because of its mystical arrangement of atoms—in a 4.5-billion-year-old meteorite from a remote region of northeastern Russia, bringing to two the number of natural quasicrystals ever discovered. Prior to the team finding the first natural quasicrystal in 2009, researchers thought that the structures were too fragile and energetically unstable to be formed by natural processes.
"The finding of a second quasicrystal confirms that these materials can form in nature and are stable over cosmic time scales," said Paul Steinhardt, Princeton's Albert Einstein Professor of Science and a professor of physics, who led the study with Luca Bindi of the University of Florence. The team published the finding in the March 13 issue of the journal Scientific Reports.
The discovery raises the possibility that other types of quasicrystals can be formed in nature, according to Steinhardt. Quasicrystals are very hard, have low friction, and don't conduct heat very well—making them good candidates for applications such as protective coatings on items ranging from airplanes to non-stick cookware.
The newly discovered quasicrystal, which is yet to be named, has a structure that resembles flat 10-sided disks stacked in a column. This type of structure is impossible in ordinary crystals, in which atoms are packed closely together in a repeated and orderly fashion. The difference between crystals and quasicrystals can be visualized by imagining a tiled floor: Tiles that are 6-sided hexagons can fit neatly against each other to cover the entire floor. But 5-sided pentagons or 10-sided decagons laid next to each will result in gaps between tiles. "The structure is saying 'I am not a crystal, but on the other hand, I am not random either,'" Steinhardt said.

If we are ever to fully harness the power of light for use in optical devices, it is necessary to understand photons - the fundamental unit of light. Achieving such understanding, however, is easier said than done. That's because the physical behavior of photons - similar to electrons and other sub-atomic particles - is characterized not by classical physics, but by quantum mechanics.
Now, in a study published in Physical Review Letters, scientists from Bar-Ilan University have observed the point at which classical and quantum behavior converge. Using a fiber-based nonlinear process, the researchers were able to observe how, and under what conditions, "classical" physical behavior emerges from the quantum world.
Up and Out of "Entanglement"
In the quantum world, pairs of photons are "entangled" - connected so that measurements performed on one affect the other, even when separated by great distances. This concept - which Albert Einstein called "spooky action at a distance" - leads to another counter-intuitive claim: that, when unobserved, the photons exist in all possible states simultaneously.
Using a well-established technique called broadband four-wave mixing (FWM), the scientists fired a laser through an optical fiber, generating entangled photon pairs, or bi-photons.
"FWM is an important source of single bi-photons for quantum communication schemes, especially for in-fiber applications," says the publication's first author, Rafi Vered. Vered is a PhD student whose work is supervised by both Dr. Avi Pe'er and Prof. Michael Rosenbluh, faculty members in Bar-Ilan University's Department of Physics and at the Bar-Ilan Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials (BINA).
"Rather than generating the bi-photons with high- or low-power laser pulses - which would cause the system to demonstrate either pure classical or quantum behavior - we focused on the intermediate power regime. At this intermediate power level, we were able to observe the transition point where the cross-over between 'spooky' quantum behavior and 'classical' wave physics takes place."
Power, Pulse and Interference Patterns
The researchers' experimental set-up focused on a unique interference phenomenon that affects only photon pairs, but not single photons. Quantifying this interference was made possible through the creation a kind of optic "obstacle course" in which the dual nature of light - encompassing both wave-like and particle-like behavior - could be revealed.
"In our experiment, we examined the way in which photon pairs act as particles, but also present wave-like patterns of interference," Pe'er explains, adding that this effect is strongly related to the quantum entanglement between the two photons of a bi-photon pair. "We were able to manipulate this interference by introducing an attenuator - a beam splitter - that deliberately broke the quantum entanglement between the photons."
According to Pe'er, the passage of light through the attenuator strips many of the photons from their bi-photon partners, and as a result, the probability of an intact photon-pair crossing the attenuator is much lower than the chances that a single photon will cross on its own. This change - which severely reduces bi-photon-specific interference - was mediated directly by the scientists through the application of varying levels of laser power.
"We generated bi-photon pairs by firing laser pulses over a large range of power levels," Vered explains, "and we found that when the number of bi-photon pairs is lower than a certain limit, its properties must be described by quantum mechanics. However, when a larger number of pairs successfully pass through, their behavior can be well predicted by classical physical principles. This allowed us to identify the 'point of transition' at which the quantum nature of light 'collapses' to conform to the rules that govern the classical, non-quantum world."
Ultra-Fast Bi-Photon Detection
Another achievement noted in the PRL publication is the scientists' ability to detect bi-photons at an unprecedentedly high rate.
"Our lab holds the world record for the generation and transmission of single bi-photons (up to 1014 bi-photons per second)," says Pe'er, an expert in quantum optics and laser physics. He adds that, until this recent work, such a record-breaking number of bi-photons was regarded, not as a feature, but as a bug.
"In this study, we introduced a fiber-based nonlinear process to generate bi-photons - pairs of entangled energy quanta," Pe'er says, explaining that the resultant broadband ultra-high flux (up to 1014 bi-photons per second in the actual experiment) means that nearly 100 photons can arrive at their destination every pico-second or so. "While this offers a huge improvement over other methods, until now there has been no corresponding photon-detection method capable of handling such a high flux without 'choking' on all the incoming data. Recently, we solved this problem by using different detection principle. In the detector, we employ a non-linear fiber - the same type used in transmission - which inverses the process and identifies the bi-photons as they arrive."
More Than One Way to See "Schroedinger's Cat"
According to Vered, an interesting aspect of the study is how it provides a concrete, optics-based perspective on quantum superposition - the idea that entangled quanta inhabit all possible states until they are observed.
"Any popular explanation of quantum theory usually begins with Schroedinger's cat - a thought experiment describing a cat inside a closed box, that may be either dead or alive," Vered says. "Rather than looking at the tipping-point between life and death, our experiment examines the point at which quantum behavior gives way to classical physics. Since quantum behavior kicks in at a very small scale, one could liken our results to identifying the transition point at which Schroedinger's cat shrinks to a small enough size to be perceived as being both alive and dead at the same time."

Nazi Hideout Found in Argentina
Buenos Aires (AFP) - An Argentine archaeologist who discovered what he thinks was a hideout built for German Nazis to flee to after World War II said more dark secrets may be buried there.
Daniel Schavelzon grabbed headlines and revived uncomfortable memories for Argentina, a notorious refuge for Nazi war criminals, when he went public at the weekend with his discovery of mysterious ruins deep in the jungle that he suspects were planned as a Nazi hideout.
Excavating at the three stone buildings, his team found a swastika etched in the ruins, German coins stamped with the Nazi symbol and a fragment of porcelain plate bearing the inscription "Made in Germany."
But research at the site has only just begun, said Schavelzon, head of the urban archaeology center at the University of Buenos Aires.
"We brought out lots of material to study and there's more to excavate," he told AFP.
"Analyzing the material could take many months. It's even possible there are other buildings we still haven't found. It's a complicated area to work in, with lots of vegetation, impenetrable."
He said he needed to find more funding to continue researching the ruins.
Schavelzon spent two weeks excavating at the site, which is located in the Teyu Cuare provincial park in northern Argentina, near the border with Paraguay.
He suspects it was part of a project to build shelters for top Nazi leaders in rugged, inaccessible locations with easy escape routes.
"These buildings date from the mid-20th century. At that time, nobody could reach this spot. It was all jungle. That shows the secrecy of the place," said Schavelzon.
"In five minutes you can get to another country. You cross the river and you're in Paraguay. It's a strategic, very well thought-out site."
The nearest town, San Ignacio, some 60 kilometers (35 miles) away, did not exist then, he said.
The buildings were made from large stones typical in the area, with high foundations, he said. One, situated higher than the others, appears to have been a lookout post.
Ultimately, however, Nazi leaders did not need a remote Argentine hideout.
"They didn't need to go into hiding deep in the jungle since they ended up living in Argentina with impunity and protection. They had passports and even used their real names," said Schavelzon.
Thousands of Nazis, Italian fascists and Croatian Ustasha fled to Argentina with the blessing of late president Juan Peron, according to the Nazi-hunting Simon Wiesenthal Center.
In 1960, Adolf Eichmann, one of the masterminds of the Holocaust, was captured in Buenos Aires by an Israeli commando team and tried in Israel, where he was executed.
Other Nazis who sought refuge in Argentina include Joseph Mengele, the Auschwitz death camp doctor who performed atrocious experiments on prisoners; Josef Schwammberger, a concentration camp commander; and Erich Priebke, an SS officer convicted of massacring civilians whose death in Rome in 2013 sparked an international dispute.

Shape-Shifting Frog Discovered in Ecuadorian Andes
Found in the Ecuadorian Andes, the unique species is able to perfectly blend in with almost anything.
Chameleons are well known for being able to change their skin coloration as a way to camouflage themselves, but now a frog discovered in Ecuador may be able to give even these masters of disguise a run for their money thanks to its unique ability to change the actual texture of its skin to match the terrain it is sitting on.
Found within the Reserva Las Gralarias, a nature reserve situated in the western Andean cloud forest, the new amphibian is thought to be the first species ever to exhibit this shape-shifting ability.
Researcher Katherine Krynak, who discovered the frog while on an expedition with her husband, described how they had originally believed that they had picked up the wrong creature when it seemed to change from spiky to smooth-skinned when placed on a sheet of plastic.
"I then put the frog back in the cup and added some moss," she said. "The spines came back... we simply couldn't believe our eyes, our frog changed skin texture !"
It is thought that this ability may help the frogs to protect themselves against predators.
"The spines and coloration help them blend into mossy habitats, making it hard for us to see them," said Krynak. "But whether the texture really helps them elude predators still needs to be tested." - EurekaAlert

Ancient rock lines created by enigmatic Paracas culture predate Nazca geoglyphsA new study published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, has revealed the discovery of a complex set of geoglyphs constructed by the mysterious Paracas people of Peru. The architectural features, which date back 2,300 years, have been found to be aligned to the sunset during the winter solstice, and are believed to have been created to mark ceremonial mounds and residential sites, according to a new report in Live Science.
The Paracas culture was among the earliest settled civilisations of the Chincha Valley, located 200 kilometres south of Lima, one of the largest and most productive regions of southern coastal Peru. The Paracas civilisation arose around 800 BC, predating the Nazca, which came about in around 100 BC. While the Nazca are famous for their incredible geoglyphsetched into the landscape over an incredible 450 square kilometres, the Paracas are well-known for the large collection of skulls, which showed that at least some of their population had significantly elongated skulls, as depicted in the artistic representation above.

According to Charles Stanish, the director of the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology at the University of California, the newly discovered lines and mounds in the Peruvian landscape date back to around 300 BC, making them even older than the Nazca lines. In total, Stanish and his team found 71 geoglyph lines or segments, 353 rock cairns, rocks forming circles or rectangles, two U-shaped mounds, and one point at which a series of lines converged in a circle of rays.

Many of the archaeological features were found to have astronomical alignments. For example, some lines marked the spot where the sun would have set during the June solstice, and the two U-shaped mounds and a larger platform mound also aligned to the solstice. The researchers have suggested that the lines and mounds probably served as a way to mark time during festivals. “I don’t think people needed the signposts, but it was more kind of a ritualized thing,” said Stanish. He added that the lines may have also been used to attract tradespeople and buyers from the coast and the Andes highlands.

While many of the lines have astronomical alignments, some others point to special places in the landscape, like some of the ancient pyramids in the region. The research team therefore hypothesises that the lines served diverse purposes – some appear to mark time, others may attract participants to attend social events, and yet others point the way to sacred structures.
“The lines are effectively a social technology,” Stanish said. “They’re using it for certain purposes. Some people have said the lines point out sacred mountains. Sure, why not? The lines [might] point out sacred pyramids. Why not? The lines could [also] be used to point out processions,” Stanish said of both the Nazca and Peru lines.
The study authors have said that the study is significant because it shed new light on the enigmatic ancient culture of the Paracas. “Social units, labour, and astronomically significant periods mesh, attracting participants to cyclical events in the midvalley zone. This case study refines our understanding of the processes of human social evolution prior to the development of archaic states.”

Why in the world is the Vatican searching for extraterrestrial life? Does the Catholic hierarchy know something about alien life that the rest of us do not? Why is the largest religious organization on the planet spending so much time and energy looking for “brother extraterrestrial”? Earlier this month, the Vatican Observatory cosponsored a major conference on extraterrestrial life that brought together 200 of the leading astrobiologists in the world. One of the organizers stated that one of the goals of the conference was to figure out “how we can find life among the stars within the next two decades“. Certainly it would not be unusual for a group of astronomers and astrobiologists to get together and discuss such things. But why is the Vatican seemingly obsessed with this stuff? As you will see below, there are some high profile Vatican astronomers that seem quite confident that “something” is out there. In fact, one has stated that once it is revealed, “everything we think we know” may have to “be thrown out”.
Normally, a conference that brings together several hundred scientists is not going to make headline news. What makes this one different is the involvement of the Vatican. The following is how this conference was described on NASA’s website…
- Motivated by the rapidly increasing number of known Earth-sized planets, the increasing range of extreme conditions in which life on Earth can persist, and the progress toward a technology that will ultimately enable the search for life on exoplanets, the Vatican Observatory and the Steward Observatory announce a major conference entitled The Search for Life Beyond the Solar System: Exoplanets, Biosignatures & Instruments.
- The goal of the conference is to bring together the interdisciplinary community required to address this multi-faceted challenge: experts on exoplanet observations, early and extreme life on Earth, atmospheric biosignatures, and planet-finding telescopes.
In recent years, the Vatican has really taken a position of leadership in the search for extraterrestrial life. The current head of the Vatican Observatory, José Gabriel Funes, does not believe that there is any conflict between his faith and his search for life beyond this world…
- José Gabriel Funes, an Argentine Jesuit priest and astronomer, and the current director of the Vatican Observatory says there is no conflict between believing in God and in the possibility of extraterrestrial civilizations perhaps more evolved than humans.
- “In my opinion this possibility exists,” said the Reverend José Gabriel Funes, current director of the Vatican Observatory and a scientific adviser to Pope Benedict XVI, referring to life on other planets.
In fact, Funes sounds quite optimistic about the possibility of finding “brother extraterrestrial” someday…
- Asked if he was referring to beings similar to humans or even more evolved than humans, he said: “Certainly, in a universe this big you can’t exclude this hypothesis.”
- “Just as there is a multiplicity of creatures on earth, there can be other beings, even intelligent, created by God. This is not in contrast with our faith because we can’t put limits on God’s creative freedom. Why can’t we speak of a ‘brother extraterrestrial’? It would still be part of creation.”
- Funes, who runs the observatory that is based south of Rome and in Arizona, held out the possibility that the human race might actually be the “lost sheep” of the universe. There could be other beings “who remained in full friendship with their creator,” he said.
Wow.
So Funes is actually suggesting that when we do encounter extraterrestrial beings, they may not have fallen into sin like humanity has.

- This is an argument that they continue to make and they’re becoming more and more adamant about it, that what we know about ourselves is that we are fallen, right? But we cannot necessarily assume the same thing about our space brethren, and if they’re unfallen, they’re closer to God than we are. Therefore they have a better understanding of the Gospel and of the Godhead and of the nature of God. And when they started out three years ago, Funes was saying “I’d like to baptize an alien into the Catholic faith.” Well that’s not what they’re saying today. What they’re saying now is that they [aliens] are coming here and they’re going to baptize us into their faith and it is going to require us to make changes to our knowledge, to our understanding, of the Gospel. In fact, some of their deepest theologians have said, “Perhaps everything we think we know about the Gospel is going to have to be thrown out.”

A Documentary on UFOsThis well made documentary [Contact 2014] makes the case for UFOs being the transport for extraterrestrial beings [who cannot seem to get into contact with humans with all of their amazing technology]. It also believes the Pyramids in Egypt were built by aliens, much the same theory that the TV series Ancient Aliens holds to. It claims that the pyramids send a signal to all inter-galactic traffic (that we are unable to detect by the way) that Earth is owned by humans, and not to interfere. The Pyramids are there to "protect us" according to the film.
The alien craft are lining up according to the placement of those ancient pyramids, which represent the constellation Orion. In other words, the film states, alien craft are simply responding to a message we sent 4,000 years ago. The pyramids are better at broadcasting our intelligence to the universe, because it is big, silent, and more sophisticated than radio waves sent by SETI, [Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence].
The evidence is Unequivocal for extraterrestrials [according to this film].
The film reports on the Pheonix Lights incident, which occurred on Thursday, March 13, 1997 at around 7:30PM to 10:30PM MST. The narrator goes on to state the first "message" sent by the phonex lights was again the constellation Orion, in a series of 3 lights. "Every alien vehicle that appears, the 3 light sequence is the first thing they say".
Actual eye witness reports would disagree with this statement. All manner of light formations and sequences one could think of have been reported.
The advent of the film camera has proven beyond a doubt that something is going on regarding the thousands of reported UFOs. Once dismissed as delusion, or hallucination, they prove that lights are actually within our reality. Today, almost everyone has the highest resolution, and best video recording devices ever produced. This great leap in camera technology is only an after-thought in devices that every has and uses daily, our mobile phones. Everyone know also has enough film, is always in the right place, and always has the right camera, with technology.
High resolution video capture devices have also permeated throughout the population, and are available at a click of a button. From 2009 until today, UFO reports have increased dramatically. Also, cell phones are capturing similar UFO events on opposite sides of the planet.
UFO reports of where there are multiple craft, the craft line up into similar formations all over the world.
The film also claims UFO formations are a language, that as of yet, human cannot understand.
This film does have some very good points, and is worth a watch. We disagree on what these lights are, and what they represent. It is believed they are deceptive. I also do not believe these thing are from space. Our detection satellites could see objects arriving near Earth for days before getting here, yet visibility is either not reported, or simply does not happen. We would detect them even if they are moving at massive speed, due to the incomprehensible size of the galaxy and universe. Their actions seem more like an inter-dimensional object that can appear and disappear in our dimension at will.
Which also brings the question of what is piloting these objects (if anything).
"Aliens" as of yet have not made "contact" in a matter of fact way as this film wants you to believe. There is far more to this subject than reported in the film. You will find this subject matter on this website.
This film has a grandiose view of the UFO issue. The end of the film is amusing as the narrator spends a good 4 minutes telling you he has the answers to everything. Its called "The Knowledge of the Forever Time". Written and Narrated by Damon T. Berry. We are unsure if this is a book, or movie for purchase, as the author does not reveal such.
I believe there is a much larger reality and even more strange situation happening regarding UFO sightings.

Fox announced yesterday that Mulder and Scully will return for a six episode run of The X-Files beginning this summer. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will be back as Mulder and Scully, and will not doubt be caught up in an abundance of high strangeness.
The show’s creator, Chris Carter, told the Associated Press the show should do better than ever because, “the good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger.”
This increased “stangeness” might be due to the success of The X-Files in the first place. It premiered in 1993, a time that many UFO researchers consider an all time lull for public interest in UFOs. With the growth in popularity of The X-Files, and their hunt for the ever allusive aliens, it is not too far fetched to credit The X-Files with helping to re-ignite the public’s interest in UFOs.
UFO researchers, and those who like to watch interviews with UFO researchers, are well – perhaps even painfully – aware that 99% of the time a news broadcast broaches the topic of UFOs they feel compelled to play The X-Files theme music. With all of the UFO documentaries on the air now, Carter is probably right that now is as good a time as any to reintroduce The X-Files.

The question some are asking is if there is so much enthusiasm about bringing the show back, then why only produce six episodes?
Merrill Barr, a Forbes contributor that covers the television business, has an idea about that. He notes that Fox recently made a lucrative deal with Amazon for the streaming rights to the hit show 24. He posits that Fox‘s real intention is not to give fans more X-Files, but to reinvigorate the X-Files franchise, putting Fox in a good position to be able to broker another lucrative deal for The X-Files streaming rights.
Either way, the public will be in for more UFOs, alien abductions, and a number of other paranormal related topics. Most articles about the return of the show seem to be expressing a craving for the return to the alien themed story lines. Themes such as what happened to Mulder’s sister who was apparently abducted by aliens, and what happened to the cabal who was tasked with keeping the alien secrets, or what is up with the black oil that turned people into aliens, and the faceless aliens that may or may not be related to the alien bounty hunters, and so on and so on.
These six episodes have a lot to cover, and this summer we will find out if the final (?) chapter of The X-Files story will satisfy the needs of a hungry audience clamoring for more – count me among them.

The Mystery Of The “ufo Repeaters” – Hundreds Of Amazing Ufo Photographs Prove They Can't All Be Lying!
One of the most fascinating – and difficult to analyze – aspects of the UFO phenomenon is the apparent non-randomness of sightings and the effects those sightings have on those who witness them. Often a long chain of events begins for the witness after a sighting, events fraught with various synchronicities, time distortions and lingering, newly discovered PSI abilities like telepathy and psychokinesis.
Beginning with Kenneth Arnold’s 1947 sighting, a UFO encounter was considered to be something akin to being struck by lightning: it was completely involuntary and extremely unlikely to happen to someone a second time. But as the contactee movement of the 1950s began to gather strength, a different understanding began to emerge. Some people claimed to have ongoing relationships with the flying saucer occupants, and the otherworldly interlopers were even willing to pose for a few photos as well.
It is precisely that group within the UFO community that the new release from Timothy Green Beckley’s Global Communications publishing house is concerned with. The book is called “UFO Repeaters: Seeing Is Believing! The Camera Doesn’t Lie!” As the title implies, it is chock full of photos by people who were repeatedly given the opportunity to take aim and shoot UFOs with both still and motion picture cameras.
Many of the photos in “UFO Repeaters” are quite dramatic and will elicit gasps of wonderment even from people already jaded by years of studying the subject. No real attempt is made in the book to debate whether the photos are authentic. The late alien abduction research pioneer, Budd Hopkins, once said that we will always have difficulty in assessing the “truth” of a UFO photo because even one that photo analysis experts could not completely debunk would still look like something conjured by Hollywood through the special effects department. Hopkins also said that all we can really be sure of is ourselves, meaning that we should study the UFO phenomenon by picking it up from the human end of the stick.
Which “UFO Repeaters” also manages to accomplish when it tells the personal stories of several of the contactees themselves who became shutterbugs for the flying saucers. How and why these contactees were “chosen” for their mission of revealing the alien presence through the lens of the camera remains unknown, but some elusive factor unites them all.
In his introduction, publisher and author Beckley grapples with that and similar issues. For example, he writes, “Is it the individual – the UFO Repeater – who is solely responsible for the images on the film or video? Do they possess some sort of tracking device – an implant – that the aliens use as a homing apparatus to keep in touch with their representatives? Are some of the images ‘psychic’ in nature? Are they manifested by the Repeaters themselves? Sort of like a poltergeist event? Or perhaps it’s that the locale is a ‘hotspot’ that draws the UFOs in, and anyone could be standing in this location and capture weird images which are indisputably NOT anything within the realm of the ‘normal.’ Perhaps it is a combination of all of the above.”
STELLA LANSING
The veteran paranormal journalist Tim R. Swartz begins the book by getting down to cases. For example, Stella Lansing of Palmer, Massachusetts, who had the strange ability to “call down” UFOs and photograph them using both still and film cameras. Many of the images were not apparent when Stella took the pictures but instead seemed to spontaneously appear on film. She claimed to have experienced seeing strange little men and creatures, hearing voices speaking out of nowhere, suffering an electric shock administered by a “shimmering figure,” and a craft surfacing from underwater.
It was Beckley himself who gave Stella her first brush with fame when she came to a UFO convention Beckley helped to organize in 1967. She showed Beckley a series of home movies that had captured what he called “eerie, phantom-like phenomena.” One of Stella’s films seemed to show four occupants visible through a window on the spacecraft. Other 8mm films contained clock-like patterns of light that would overlap the frames, something considered to be optically impossible.
Stella talked about her experiences with author Brad Steiger for his book “Gods of Aquarius.”

“I don’t know if they came from another planet,” Stella said, “or if they live right within our dimension, or if they’re interdimensional – or maybe they’re living somewhere on Earth that we haven’t discovered yet. But whatever it is I do, it’s as if I’m programmed in some way to sense the need to take pictures of UFOs. I feel a sudden compulsion to pick up my camera, a sudden urgency to really grab that camera. I sense that maybe I am being ‘told,’ but I don’t even know – I’m not consciously aware. When I snap the shutter, that’s when I get my pictures of UFOs or entities. Something is making me do it without my being aware of it. I’m only aware of it after it’s happened.”
Stella continued to see and photograph UFOs as well as to keep detailed notes even after interest in her work had long since faded. She was always willing to talk about her experiences, but, right up to her death in 2012, she remained mystified by her own strange abilities. DOROTHY IZATT
Swartz also writes about a Canadian woman named Dorothy Izatt who photographed an amazing array of UFOs. What is so incredible about Dorothy’s films are the “one-frame” images that pop up unexpectedly, showing streaks of light and other luminous objects.
“It all started when she saw a bright object hovering in the sky above her house,” Swartz writes. “Dorothy went out onto her balcony with a flashlight and tried signaling the UFO, which, to her amazement, signaled back. When she told her friends about her experience, no one believed her. So she went out and bought a Keystone XL 200 Super-8 movie camera and started filming. The results were more than 600 reels of film that skeptics, right from the very beginning, have said were faked. But, if she is faking them, photo experts have yet to figure out how.”

Dorothy’s films have been seen widely on television shows like “Unsolved Mysteries” and “Sightings.” She calls the UFO occupants “light beings,” not aliens, because “we are aliens, too.”
Dorothy said that, from the very beginning, she could tell when a UFO was near and that she would be compelled to get her camera and film them. She later learned that she was being directed by telepathic communications from the extraterrestrials.
“You talk mind-to-mind,” she explained. “They can pick up your thoughts, and I have the ability to pick up theirs, too. There are all different types of beings. Some are like us. You wouldn’t be able to tell the difference if they walked among us. Some are different, but down here on this Earth we are all different, too.”
Oddly, some people can see the aliens when she points them out, but others can’t. She feels her own ability to see them is the result of a special sense she possesses. When she wants to make contact, all she has to do is concentrate and they appear. Dorothy says she was born with this “sense” and that she shares it with other members of her family.
“Even though many UFO researchers try to ignore the psychic component of UFOs,” Swartz writes, “the rejection of this key element will only contribute to the continuing confusion that surrounds the phenomenon. Since the 1940s, UFOs have become synonymous with spaceships and extraterrestrials. However, this interpretation is far too simplistic and probably reflects modern social belief structures more than science fact.”
BETTY HILL
The UFO abduction of Betty and Barney Hill has been well-documented in books such as the “Interrupted Journey,” by journalist John Fuller, and “Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience,” coauthored by Kathleen Marden (Betty’s niece) and longtime UFO researcher Stanton Friedman.
In 1961, the Hills underwent what would become a template for alien abduction that has been repeated for other people countless times in the years since. The couple was taken from their car as they drove from Canada to their home in New Hampshire, brought onboard a landed UFO, medically examined, and then returned to their car with no conscious memory of the strange events that had just taken place. The Hills would not recover their memories until a few years later when a Boston psychiatrist led them through the process of regressive hypnosis. The use of hypnosis to unearth the buried memories of an encounter would become another commonplace aspect of the aftermath of the alien abduction experience.
Although the Hill case is a familiar one to most in the UFO community, what is not so widely-known is that, after the 1961 encounter, Betty and her side of the family experienced not only additional UFO sightings but also unusual harassments in the form of house break-ins, weird telephone calls and paranormal activity. A scientific research team convinced Betty to take part in an experiment to see whether she could reestablish contact with her captors. The goal was to vector in a craft to land in the vicinity of Betty’s home. Betty attempted to reach out to the UFO occupants via verbal and telepathic messages. The UFOs did indeed begin to appear shortly thereafter, followed by a spate of paranormal activity that included household items flying off of shelves, doors opening and closing on their own, and light orbs darting through the air.
Betty wrote that, “These things are happening to Barney and me as well as to most of my relatives, but they have also been witnessed by other people who were present. We do not believe in ghosts but we do believe in space travel and life on other planets. So we wonder if these space travelers might have the ability to be ‘unseen’ to us.”
Many of her admirers do not realize that Betty had a “favorite spot” that she visited frequently in order to try and communicate with and “bring down” those beings that had taken her and Barney away so many years previously. Her efforts resulted in a number of odd photographs that she added to her personal collection of memorabilia but which had skeptics wagging their tongues in annoyed disbelief.
HOWARD MENGER
Howard Menger’s story is the kind you hope is true simply for the reassurance it offers about the nature of the UFO occupants. Howard encountered the kind of beautiful, loving creatures that seem to come right out of a children’s storybook about good spirits taking a young boy on a fantastic adventure in a kind of colorful “wonderland.”
Howard was born in 1922 in Brooklyn, New York. When Howard was ten, his parents moved the family to a spacious, rustic homestead in rural New Jersey. Howard and his brother would explore the nearby pastures and hills, where the paranormal activity soon commenced. On several occasions, the youths maintained, they were cornered by weird objects resembling Buck Rogers-like spacecraft that appeared over the tree line and sent the boys scampering away in fear. At one point, a ten-foot diameter disc landed close to Howard and his brother while another larger object hovered overhead, as if to gauge the boys’ reaction to the landed craft.
Little by little, Howard, being more “sensitive” than his brother, started to venture out into the pastures and meadowlands on his own. He easily made friends with the fauna there, like squirrels and rabbits, and was particularly attracted to specific spot near a slow-running stream that ran in the back of the family home. On a bright, sunny day in 1932, he saw something there that would change his life forever.
“There, sitting on a rock by the brook,” Howard said, “was the most exquisite woman my young eyes had ever beheld! The warm sunlight caught the highlights of her long, golden hair as it cascaded around her face and shoulders. The curves of her lovely body were delicately contoured, revealed through the translucent material of her clothing, which reminded me of the habit that skiers wear.”

Wetenschappers wisten al dat de aarde zeer veel diepgang heeft, maar dat wordt nu opnieuw bevestigd met de ontdekking van een nieuwe laag. Het ligt diep verborgen in de aarde en kan verschillende geologische mysteries helpen verlaren. Dat meldt de wetenschappelijke nieuwssite Scientias.nl.
"De aarde heeft zeer veel lagen, net zoals een ui," legt onderzoeker Lowell Miyagi uit op de Scientias.nl. "De meeste lagen worden gedefinieerd door de mineralen die erin te vinden zijn. In feite hebben wij een nieuwe laag in de aarde ontdekt. Deze laag wordt niet gedefinieerd door de aanwezige mineralen, maar door de kracht van deze mineralen." De gesteenten in die nieuwe laag zijn zeer stroperig.
De onderzoekers hebben de laag in het laboratorium ontdekt. Ze ontdekten dat de kracht van het mineraal steeds groter werd wanneer ze net zoveel druk uitoefenden als men in de aardmantel op zo'n 660 kilometer diep ervaart. Het mineraal gedraagt zich ook anders onder die toenemende druk. Daarom zal de stroperigheid van gesteenten op een diepte van zo'n 1496 kilometer 300 keer groter zijn dan op 660 kilometer diepte.
De ontdekking van de nieuwe laag is voor wetenschappers belangrijk. Het geeft hen meer inzicht in mysterieuze geologische verschijnselen. Zo is uit vorige onderzoeken al gebleken dat zinkende tektonische platen soms op een bepaalde diepte stoppen met zinken. Dat is nu ook te verklaren door de aanwezigheid van die nieuwe aardlaag.
Het onderzoek laat wetenschappers ook de temperatuur van het hart van de aarde in twijfel trekken. Vermoedelijk is het hart van de aarde veel warmer dan we tot nu toe denken.

De onderzoeksrobot Opportunity heeft een marathon afgelegd op Mars. Het karretje deed er elf jaar en twee maanden over om de afstand van 42,195 kilometer af te leggen. Dat deelde de Amerikaanse ruimtevaartorganisatie NASA vandaag mee.
Opportunity vervolledigde zijn marathon door gisteren 47 meter af te leggen op Mars. "Het is de eerste keer dat een door mensen gemaakt voertuig een marathonafstand afgelegd heeft op een andere planeet", zei NASA-projectmanager John Callas.
"De Opportunity-missie gaat natuurlijk niet om afstandsrecords, maar om wetenschappelijke ontdekkingen", zegt zijn collega Steve Squyres. "Toch voelt een marathon op mars goed aan." Om de mijlpaal te vieren is het Opportunity-team van NASA van plan om ook een marathon te lopen, weliswaar als estafetteploeg.
Opportunity landde in januari 2004 op Mars, maar heeft sindsdien in totaal maar drie maanden effectief rondgereden.

De beste waarnemingen tot nu toe van de stofrijke gaswolk G2 bevestigen dat dit zijn kleinste afstand tot het superzware zwarte gat in het centrum van de Melkweg in mei 2014 is gepasseerd, en dat het die gebeurtenis heeft overleefd, zo heeft de Europese Zuidelijke Sterrenwacht ESO op gezag van waarnemeningen met de gigantische VLT-telescoop in Chili.
In het hart van ons Melkwegstelsel bevindt zich een superzwaar zwart gat dat vier miljoen keer zoveel massa heeft als onze Zon. Er draait een groepje heldere sterren omheen, en daarnaast was de afgelopen jaren te zien hoe een mysterieuze stofrijke wolk, G2 genoemd, naar het zwarte gat toe viel. Voorspeld was dat die wolk in mei 2014 zijn kleinste afstand tot het zwarte gat zou bereiken.
Naar verwachting zou de wolk door de sterke getijdenkrachten in dit gebied uit elkaar worden getrokken. Een deel van de materie zou door het zwarte gat worden opgeslokt en een uitbarsting van straling veroorzaken.
Om deze unieke gebeurtenis te onderzoeken, hielden tal van onderzoeksteams het galactisch centrum de afgelopen jaren nauwkeurig in de gaten met grote telescopen.
Een team onder leiding van Andreas Eckart (Universität zu Köln, Duitsland) heeft het gebied jarenlang waargenomen met de VLT, ook in de cruciale periode van februari tot september 2014, kort voor en na de dichtste nadering in mei 2014. De opnamen van het infraroodlicht dat door het gloeiende waterstofgas wordt uitgezonden, laten zien dat de wolk zowel voor als na zijn scheervlucht langs het zwarte gat compact was. De wolk is niet significant uitgesmeerd, is niet waarneembaar langer geworden en vertoont ook geen grotere snelheidsspreiding.
Het feit dat de stofrijke wolk bestand is tegen de extreme gravitationele getijdenkrachten in de directe omgeving van het zwarte gat, wijst er sterk op dat ze een compact object met een zware kern omhult, en geen los rondzwervende gaswolk is. Dit wordt ook bevestigd door het uitblijven (tot nu toe) van aanwijzingen dat het centrale monster met extra materie wordt gevoed: dat zou een verhoogde activiteit veroorzaken, aldus nog de ESO.

Een asteroïde met een diameter van een kilometer zal volgens NASA vrijdag relatief dicht langs de Aarde passeren. Het object met de naam '2014-YB35' beweegt zich aan 37.000 kilometer per uur door de ruimte. Hoewel het niet ongebruikelijk is dat kleine meteorieten langs de Aarde scheren, vormt de omvang van deze asteroïde een bedreiging. Een impact met de Aarde zou aardbevingen en tsunami's veroorzaken.
De asteroïde zal volgens berekeningen van het Near Earth Object programma van NASA op 4,5 miljoen kilometer van de Aarde passeren, een peulschil in astronomische verhoudingen. De asteroïde werd eind vorig jaar voor het eerst gespot en astronomen houden het deze week scherp in de gaten.
"Realistisch risico"
Experts waarschuwen dat het slechts een kwestie van tijd is vooraleer een asteroïde op de Aarde neerstort. Astronomieprofessor Bill Napier van de universiteit van Buckinghamshire verklaarde tegenover Express dat er "een zeer realistisch risico" is dat een komeet of asteroïde op Aarde neerstort. "In het geval van 2014-YB35 zou dat het voortbestaan van onze planeet bedreigen. Maar het zijn de kleinere en toch zeer schadelijke kometen en asteroïden waarover we ons zorgen moeten maken".

A family witnessed four UFOs during a barbecue activity outdoor. Interestingly, a Ministry of Defence helicopter also became part of the scene when it appeared to chase these mysterious aerial objects in the skies above the English town of Bolton.
Andrea Finney, who was with her husband Nigel and their son, first noticed the UFOs in the sky. She alerted her family about them and asked her husband to grab a camera. Nigel managed to snap a few photos of the unusual aerial activity. But only one photo made available online.
Furthermore, only one UFO in a distance seems to appear in the picture. Nigel explained that the camera he was using doesn’t have a good zoom feature, but no explanation as to why only one UFO was captured in the photograph.
The witnesses assert that after the UFOs had zoomed off, they noticed an MOD helicopter pursuing these strange aerial things.
Nigel said that they could not explain the aerial activity. He ruled out hot air balloons, Chinese lanterns and any known aircraft.
Andrea added that they were the strangest aerial objects she had seen in her entire life. She was just gobsmacked.
It’s not clear on what day and time the sighting happened, but it definitely startled the witnesses.

Traditional history suggests that dinosaurs and humans never crossed paths because their existence on earth was separated by tens of millions of years.
But a new discovery by scientist Mark Armitage of the California State University may well turn the history of human civilization upside down.
Armitage was recently on a dig in Montana when he came across the largest triceratops horn ever unearthed. Upon further examination of the unique specimen with a high-powered microscope Armitage discovered something that no scientist had ever seen on a dinosaur sample before – soft tissue.
When he published his findings his colleagues were stunned, because the existence of soft tissue, which should degrade and disappear over millions of years, suggests that dinosaurs didn’t go extinct 60 million years ago, but rather, were alive and well in North America just several thousand years ago.
One would think that such a notable discovery would lead to more research into the possibility that humans and dinosaurs may have co-existed at one point in time. But that’s far from what happened.
Armitrage’s funding was pulled, his research was silenced and his job at CSU was terminated.
Apparently, the researcher’s findings were so significant that the board of trustees at the university feared it would too closely mesh science with religion.
One university official even made it a point to let Armitrage know why he was let go. “We are not going to tolerate your religion in this department,” he was quoted as saying.
The official’s statement stems from the notion that the history of the Christian Bible is roughly 6,000 to 10,000 years old, a point that some scientists often use to laugh off any possibility that there is truth to it. Scientists argue that since the bones of dinosaurs are over 60 million years old, the Bible couldn’t possibly hold a shred of truth because the creation story told in the first book of Genesis is, at most, just ten thousand years.
But the new discovery may shed light on the mysterious creatures mentioned in the Bible’s Old Testament. The earlier books of the bible may not have mentioned Triceratops or other dinosaurs by name, but they do make reference to tanniyn and behemoth, interpreted by some scholars as a large serpent, reptile, dragon, or even sea-monster.
These creatures did, indeed, cross paths with humans accordingly to the historical record detailed in the Christian Bible.

Yet, up until now, no hard scientific research confirmed that such large animals with reptile-like skin existed.
Armitrage’s discovery of soft tissue adds physical evidence to biblical record. And apparently, that threatened an upheaval in the scientific community, subsequently leading to Armitrage’s termination.
A press release from the Pacific Justice Institute argues that Armitrage was terminated on the basis of religion for sharing a controversial theory and providing evidence for such:
“Terminating an employee because of their religious views is completely inappropriate and illegal,” commented Brad Dacus, President of PJI. “But doing so in an attempt to silence scientific speech at a public university is even more alarming. This should be a wakeup call and warning to the entire world of academia,” he continued.
While at a dig at Hell Creek formation in Montana, the scientist, Mark Armitage, came upon the largest triceratops horn ever unearthed at the site. When examining the horn under a high-powered microscope back at CSUN, Armitage was fascinated to see the soft tissue. The discovery stunned members of the scientific community because it indicates that dinosaurs roamed the earth only thousands of years in the past rather than going extinct 60 million years ago.
According to court documents, shortly after the original soft tissue discovery, a university official challenged the motives of Armitage, by shouting at him, “We are not going to tolerate your religion in this department!”
Armitage, a published scientist of over 30 years, was subsequently let go after CSUN abruptly claimed his appointment at the university of 38 months had been temporary, and claimed a lack of funding for his position. This was news to him, and contradicted prior statements and documents from the university.
Michael Peffer, staff attorney with PJI’s southern California office said, “It has become apparent that ‘diversity’ and ‘intellectual curiosity,’ so often touted as hallmarks of a university education, do not apply to those with a religious point of view. This suit was filed, in part, to vindicate those ideals.”

Scientists often claim that no evidence or data prove the stories in the bible ever actually happened. Now, a veteran researcher with over three decades of experience has confirmed that dinosaurs were likely alive during the age of humans. Yet, because it doesn’t follow the traditional narrative and threatens scores of other theories, the physical evidence is shunned, thrown aside, and dismissed as religious extremism.
Apparently, a scientist can no longer be a scientists if he subscribes to the stories shared in the bible or if he believes in God.

The 48-year-old, who works in property management, told Mirror Online: "There were four of them, and they zoomed across the sky.
Mystery: The family could not explain what they had just seen "You just had to be there to see it, it was the strangest thing I have ever seen in my life.
"They zoomed off after we spotted them, and the craziest thing was that they were then followed by a Ministry of Defence helicopter.
"I was just gobsmacked."
Spotted: The family were having a barbecue when they spotted the UFOs Upon seeing the UFOs, she alerted her husband Nigel to get a camera.
The 50-year-old delivery driver said: "I took photos as quick as I could.
"We just could not explain it. They were not hot air baloons. They were not Chinese laterns. They were just something else.
"Our camera does not have a good zoom on it or anything - it is just a normal camera, so we took what we could but afterwards we just could not explain it.
"It's a mystery."

The phenomenon is called “Fly Geyser” and is formed by an accident when a ranch owner drilled for water in the Nevada desert.
It began in the early twentieth-century when the ranch owner drilled a well to raise the quality of the agriculture. But when they had drilled the whole way down to the water they stopped because the water temperature was 200 degrees. In 1964 there was a second attempt. It also failed because the water was too hot.
After the second failure they didn’t cover the well properly… The result? Jaw-dropping. 
The high water pressure flushes up minerals and gas. That evolves into an awesome pile that’s just keep on growing. I think they may to have to re-think how fast stalagtites and stalagmites form in caves, because this is fast growth! 
The water ponds have formed its own ecosystem below the geyser. Here you have small fishes and several kinds of birds.

In what will soon be considered as the Holy Grail of extraterrestrial research, the Mexican government has released ancient documents proving the existence of E.T.’s once and for all.
Newly released Mayan documents, i.e. artifacts, dating back at least 1300-years reveal that the human race is not alone and highly advanced technologies including space travel have likely existed for quite some time.
Not only does this documentation released by the Mexican government show the existence of an explorer race, it may also reveal the roots of mankind.
Some consider the government’s presentation of the information to be a major step forward for humanity as the truth is finally being slowly let out. Hopefully this will prompt other governments around the world to be more forthcoming with such information, turning the tide in the UFO and extraterrestrial research community for good.
Sundance winner Juan Carlos Rulfo’s Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyondalso touches on such technology. “Producer Raul Julia-Levy said the documentary-makers were working in cooperation with the Mexican government for what he said was “the good of mankind”. He said the order to collaborate had come directly from the country’s president, Álvaro Colom Caballeros.
“Mexico will release codices, artefacts and significant documents with evidence of Mayan and extraterrestrial contact, and all of their information will be corroborated by archaeologists,” he said. “The Mexican government is not making this statement on their own – everything we say, we’re going to back it up.”
Caballeros himself was conspicuous by his absence from the statement released by Julia-Levy. So far, the minister of tourism for the Mexican state of Campeche, Luis Augusto García Rosado, appears to be the highest-ranking government official to go on record confirming the discovery of extraterrestrial life, but he’s not holding back.
In a statement, Rosado spoke of contact “between the Mayans and extraterrestrials, supported by translations of certain codices, which the government has kept secure in underground vaults for some time”. In a telephone conversation with the Wrap, he also spoke of “landing pads in the jungle that are 3,000 years old”.[2]
These secrets have been said to be “protected” by the mexican government for as long as 80-years.

Scientists at Large Hadron Collider hope to make contact with PARALLEL UNIVERSE in days
The staggeringly complex LHC ‘atom smasher’ at the CERN centre in Geneva, Switzerland, will be fired up to its highest energy levels ever in a bid to detect – or even create – miniature black holes.
If successful a completely new universe will be revealed – rewriting not only the physics books but the philosophy books too.
It is even possible that gravity from our own universe may ‘leak’ into this parallel universe, scientists at the LHC say.
Collision course: Large Hadron Collider could discover parallel universe
The experiment is sure to inflame alarmist critics of the LHC, many of whom initially warned the high energy particle collider would spell the end of our universe with the creation a black hole of its own.
But so far Geneva remains intact and comfortably outside the event horizon.
Indeed the LHC has been spectacularly successful. First scientists proved the existence of the elusive Higgs boson ‘God particle’ – a key building block of the universe – and it is seemingly well on the way to nailing ‘dark matter’ – a previously undetectable theoretical possibility that is now thought to make up the majority of matter in the universe.
But next week’s experiment is considered to be a game changer.
Mir Faizal, one of the three-strong team of physicists behind the experiment, said: “Just as many parallel sheets of paper, which are two dimensional objects [breadth and length] can exist in a third dimension [height], parallel universes can also exist in higher dimensions.
“We predict that gravity can leak into extra dimensions, and if it does, then miniature black holes can be produced at the LHC.
“Normally, when people think of the multiverse, they think of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, where every possibility is actualised.
“This cannot be tested and so it is philosophy and not science.
“This is not what we mean by parallel universes. What we mean is real universes in extra dimensions.
“As gravity can flow out of our universe into the extra dimensions, such a model can be tested by the detection of mini black holes at the LHC.
“We have calculated the energy at which we expect to detect these mini black holes in ‘gravity’s rainbow’ [a new scientific theory].
“If we do detect mini black holes at this energy, then we will know that both gravity’s rainbow and extra dimensions are correct.”
When the LHC is fired up the energy is measured in Tera electron volts – a TeV is 1,000,000,000,000, or one trillion, electron Volts
So far, the LHC has searched for mini black holes at energy levels below 5.3 TeV.
But the latest study says this is too low.
Instead, the model predicts that black holes may form at energy levels of at least 9.5 TeV in six dimensions and 11.9 TeV in 10 dimensions.
