Wetenschappers ontdekken tweede Stonehenge: “Grootste prehistorische monument in Groot-Brittannië”

Het mysterie van Stonehenge wordt nog een stuk vreemder. Wetenschappers hebben op drie kilometer van het monument nog eens 100 grote blokken gevonden die begraven liggen onder de grond.

De BBC spreekt van ‘het grootste prehistorische monument in Groot-Brittannië’. De belangrijke vondst is zondag bekendgemaakt door wetenschappers van de Universiteit van Bradford. Aan de rand van de Durrington Walls, een muur van aarde, vonden ze zo’n 100 stenen op ongeveer een meter onder de grond.

Het gaat om reusachtige stenen die tot wel 4,5 meter groot zijn. De stenen, die tot nu toe ‘verloren waren voor de archeologie’, staan niet in een cirkel opgesteld, maar liggen in een rij. Gedacht wordt dat de stenen net als bij Stonehenge een religieuze betekenis hebben. De lijn komt namelijk overeen met de baan van de zon tijdens de winterzonnewende. Stonehenge is ook gebouwd naar de stand van de zon. Tijdens de zomer- en winterwende schijnt de zon precies tussen de stenen door.

De wetenschappers staan voor een raadsel. “De vindplaats is helemaal nieuw voor ons en ook de schaal is ongekend,” zeiden ze. “We denken niet dat er ooit al zoiets is ontdekt in de wereld.”

De stenen zijn gevonden met behulp van radartechnologie. Zo’n 4500 jaar geleden bevond zich een belangrijke nederzetting in het gebied. Vandaag de dag is alleen nog de enorme aarden wal zichtbaar.

Apollo 11 and UFO encounters: What Astronauts have to say

Apollo 11 has surely given us a lot to talk about ever since the historic moment a Saturn V rocket launched from the  Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida, on July 16. ?Ufologists suggest that Apollo 11 traveled to the moon followed by numerous unidentified flying objects that were seen by the three members: Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins.

 

In the book "Celestial Raise" written by Richard Watson, ASSK, 1987 there are some very interesting details which have led conspiracy theorists to suggest an otherworldly encounter took place on the surface of the moon, during the two minutes of silence while the astronauts were on the moon:

 

"During the transmission of the Moon landing of Armstrong and Aldrin, who journeyed to the Moon in an American spaceship, two minutes of silence occurred in which the image and sound were interrupted. NASA insisted that this problem was the result of one of the television cameras which had overheated, thus interfering with the reception

 

 

This unexpected problem surprised even the most qualified of viewers who were unable to explain how in such a costly project, one of the most essential elements could break down... Some time after the historic Moon landing, Christopher Craft, director of the base in Houston, made some surprising comments when he left NASA.

 

Ufologist and writer Timothy Good suggests that HAM radio operators receiving the VHF signals directly picked up the following message which was screened by NASA from the public.

 

 

Mission Control: What's there ? Mission Control calling Apollo 11.

Apollo 11: These babies are huge, sir ... enormous....Oh, God, you wouldn't believe it! I'm telling you there are other space craft out there... lined up on the far side of the crater edge... they're on the moon watching us.

 

NASA has always denied that an encounter of any kind took place and that everything said is an elaborate hoax. Interestingly, in his book "RETURN TO EARTH" Colonel Edwin E. Aldrin Jr. writes the following on pages 223-224;

 

In the middle of one evening, Houston time, I found myself idly staring out the window of the Columbia and saw something that looked a bit unusual. It appeared brighter than any star and not quite the pinpoints of light that stars are. I pointed this out to Mike and Neil, and the three of us were beset with curiosity. With the help of the monocular we guessed that whatever it was, it was only a hundred or so miles away. Looking at it through our sextant we found it occasionally formed a cylinder, but when the sextant's focus was adjusted it had a sort of illuminated "L" look to it. It had a shape of some sort -- we all agreed on that -- but exactly what it was we couldn't pin down. We asked Houston some casual questions: "How far away is the Saturn third stage?" The response was in the vicinity of six thousand miles. That wasn't it.

 

It could possibly have been one of the panels of the Saturn third stage which fly off to expose the LM and cannot be traced from earth. We could see it for about forty-five seconds at a time as the ship rotated, and we watched it on and off for about an hour. We debated whether or not to tell the ground we had spotted something, and decided against it. Our reason was simple: The UFO people would descend on the message in hordes, setting off another rash of UFO spotting back on earth. We concluded it was most likely on of the panels. Its course appeared in no way to conflict with ours, and it presented no danger. We dropped the matter there.

 

 

Is it possible that Apollo 11 witnessed an encounter with otherworldly beings as many suggest? And is it possible that official transcripts speak about Aliens and UFO's on the surface of the moon? These questions are likely to remain an enigma but we have to accept the fact that Astronauts such as Colonel Edwin E. Aldrin Jr. firmly believe we are not the only species in the universe and that something mysterious could have occurred on the Apollo 11 mission to the moon.

ALIEN ABDUCTION ~ FACT OR FICTION?

If the figures are to be believed, up to 4 million people have been abducted by aliens in the US, with many millions more captured world wide. Although the existence of human hungry aliens might be impossible to disprove per se, it is unlikely that extra-terrestrials could manage such mass kidnappings without being commonly noticed. This suggests that there are many people who falsely believe they have been seized by creatures from outer-space, perhaps after experiencing unusual and bizarre phenomena. The purpose of this article is to communicate some of the recent research in psychology and neuroscience that gives us some clues as to how and why these experiences and beliefs occur.

Some of the many thousands of people who claim to have been abducted are likely to be fortune seekers, bar-room braggers, publicity hounds and maybe even some genuine abductees. Yet with the high numbers of people reporting abductions, many of the people who believe they have been captured will likely have been mistaken.

The History of Abductions

Yes there are signs of crafts being seen in the sky and alien contact in ancient text, but without knowledge as to what these hieroglyphs, paintings etc actually symbolize or mean we will stay away from ancient astronaut theories and look at recorded history.

The First reported Sighting to make Print!

In the November 27, 1896 edition of the Stockton, California Daily Mail, Colonel H. G. Shaw claimed he and a friend were harassed by three tall, slender humanoids whose bodies were covered with a fine, downy hair who tried to kidnap the pair.

Colonel H. G. Shaw, along with his friend Camille Spooner, had a close encounter with previously unknown entities.

Shaw was in charge of putting together an exhibition to be displayed at a Fair in Fresno.

Shaw and friend were traveling by horse and carriage in route to Stockton, when their horse froze with fright.

To the two men’s shock, they saw the cause of the horse’s actions; three tall alien looking beings with small delicate hands at the end of their spindly arms stood by the road. They had no hair on their heads, yet a soft, light fuzz over their bodies. Large eyes made their small mouths and ears appear even smaller.

The two eyewitnesses would later tell authorities that the beings had a “strange” type of beauty to them.

All of the beings carried with them a bag of some kind with a hose which they often stuck in their mouths, obviously to breath with. Although there was still some daytime left, the beings also carried with them egg-shaped lamps which glowed. This glow would later illuminate a waiting spaceship.

As the men watched the aliens, the beings were communicating with each other by a type of chant, as no English words were heard by Shaw and Spooner. The men would tell authorities that the aliens made an attempt to abduct them, but that the large difference in mass between the human and alien body thwarted the effort.

Soon, the three alien beings made a move toward a nearby bridge. Using their other worldly lamps, the aliens lighted up the bridge, showing a nearby craft. The UFO was of a cigar shape, and it hovered quietly over the water.

The beings seemed to be almost lighter than air as they moved toward their craft. It seemed that the aliens would almost leave the ground as they walked on the earth.

The beings entered the hovering cigar UFO in a most unconventional way also. They sprung up from the ground and above their craft, and then floated down into the craft through an unseen entry. Soon, the object flew away.

Then in the 1940s and ’50s.

The Space Age was upon us, and sci-fi literature was soaring in popularity with human-alien encounters a recurring theme. In July 1946, “Planet Comics” ran a strip in which aliens used a luminous tractor beam to kidnap a voluptuous female earthling, whom they called Specimen 9. They tell her the abduction is part of “Project Survival,” and as they steer their spaceship toward what looks like Saturn, the leader remarks, “Now home. And if you find our methods ruthless, Specimen 9, it is because our needs are desperate.”

Likewise, in 1954, a comic strip appearing in the British tabloid The Daily Express detailed the alien abduction of a Royal Air Force pilot. Dozens of other abduction stories graced the pages of sci-fi novels and comic books.

June 24, 1947 The Kenneth Arnold Incident

Kenneth Arnold, a businessman, was flying his private plane near Mount Rainier in Washington State when he saw nine shining discs moving against the background of the mountain. He estimated their speed as about 1,000 mph. He said that they swerved in and out of the peaks of the Cascade Mountains with “flipping, erratic movements.” He later told a reporter that the objects moved as a saucer would “if you skipped it across the water.” The next day the story appeared in newspapers all over the nation, calling the strange objects “flying saucers.” Hundreds of people soon began reporting sightings of flying saucers, and a US Air Force investigation was initiated; on 4 July, ten days after the sighting, the US Air Force announced confidently that Arnold had been “hallucinating.”

1953 Hunrath and Wilkinson Disappearance

The 1950s was a time of major UFO activity but it was also a time in UFO history known by a group of persons known as “UFO contactees”. These individuals claimed to have made contact with the alien occupants of the flying saucers. For some these contacts were face to face, for others the communications were telepathic. Some claimed to have been given rides on alien spacecraft. Most of the mainstream UFO organizations of the time gave little credence to the contactees, and believed most to be hoaxers or people suffering from delusions. One of the most famous contactees was George Adamski.

George Adamski was born in Poland and immigrated to the US at a young age. By the 1930s, he was living in California as a sort of guru practicing “Universal Progressive Christianity”. He set up a small observatory at a restaurant “Palomar Gardens” below the famous Mount Palomar Observatory. By the early 1950s, Adamski was taking photographs of flying saucers with his telescope and writing science fiction and articles about the occult. On November 20, 1952, Adamski reportedly met an angelic looking man named Orthon who emerged from a landed flying saucer, claiming to be from Venus. During this encounter at the base of the Coxcomb Mountains, not far from Desert Center, California, Adamski was accompanied by six people who were told by Adamski to stay behind while he made the contact with Orthon.

After this encounter, Adamski attracted a small group of followers. One of these was Karl Hunrath, a electrical engineer, who had invented “Bosco” a device which was intended to bring down flying saucers. After a dispute with Adamski, Hunrath moved away from Palomar Gardens and rented an apartment in Los Angeles with Jerrold Baker, a handyman at Palomar Gardens who had also had a falling out with Adamski.

Karl Hunrath was soon working as a radio technician. In June 1953, a old friend of Hunrath’s from Racine, Wisconsin, Wilbur J. Wilkinson, arrived in Los Angeles with his wife and three children. Wilkinson, a co-inventor of Bosco, had left his job as a foreman at an electrical appliance plant, to join Hunrath in his efforts to see a flying saucer and meet an alien.

The two men developed an interest in channeling aliens, meeting other contactees and using psychic techniques and mechanical contractions to communicate with the “Maserians”, beings who allegedly lived on the moon.

On or about November 10, 1953, Karl Hunrath made phone calls to several associates telling them that some people had left Earth for other planets and that no one should be surprised if this might happen to him. On November 11, 1953, Hunrath and Wilkinson rented a small plane at Gardina County Airport near Los Angeles. With three hours of fuel, one hour paid rental, and no filed flight plan, Hunrath flew off with his passenger Wilkinson with the likely intent to meet a grounded saucer which they apparently presumed would take them to Maser, Venus or some other off-Earth populated celestial body.

Apparently to this day, no trace of the aircraft or the two men has been found. Most people presume that Hunrath, an inexperienced pilot, probably crashed somewhere in the mountainous terrain east of Los Angeles. If this is so, the aircraft wreckage may be out there still.

Wilbur J Wilkinson, provided this script, claiming it was from a race using the moon as a way-station for its people from the planet Maser.

NOTE: Adamski was quoted as saying “I made enough wine for all of Southern California…I was making a fortune!” However, the end of Prohibition also marked the decline of his profitable wine-making business, and Adamski later told two friends that’s when he “had to get into this [flying] saucer crap.

Antonio Villas Boas Abduction Case

In 1957, a Brazilian writer named João Martins penned the first installment of a series titled “Flying Saucers’ Terrible Mission” for the magazine O Cruzeiro. “There he describes cases of people in isolated places attacked by small alien beings”.

Martins also asked his readers to write him with their own experiences. Among hundreds of responses, he selected one of a young farmer from Minas Gerais with whom he exchanged several letters.

The next year, Martins paid for the 23-year-old farmer to come to Rio de Janeiro, where he was examined by Dr. Olavo Fontes. The farmer’s name was Antonio Villas Boas, and he claimed to have been abducted by aliens one day after reading Martin’s article?

The story got out. Walter Buhler of the Brazilian ufology group SBEDV, and a follower of the self-described alien contactee George Adamski, learned about Vilas Boas’ story, and in 1962, Buhler visited the young farmer in his hometown. The SBEDV subsequently published a report on the Villas Boas case in English, and the account aligned with Adamski’s earlier descriptions of aliens and their spaceships. In January 1965, an international journal called the Flying Saucer Review reproduced Buhler’s report worldwide.

Villas Boas was working the fields at night to avoid the scorching temperatures of the day, when he saw the red light of a spaceship; it slowly approached him and landed nearby in a field. Villas Boas tried to escape but was captured by small humanoid creatures, which dragged him into their craft.

The aliens conducted a series of experiments on their captive, including taking samples of his body tissue, exposing him to a gas that made him violently ill, and compelling him to have sexual intercourse with a female alien, who was, Villas Boas said, very attractive, with blonde hair and blue, cat-like eyes.

A few details hint that the story was fabricated or imagined. “If you read Villas Boas’ account you may notice the advanced aliens nonetheless used rope ladders. Moreover, “Villas Boas’ original sketch of the alien spaceship, with three legs, looks remarkably like the drawings of Sputnik-1, often depicted with three of its four antennas showing. The Sputnik surely was the talk of the time in 1957 when Villas Boas was supposedly abducted — or imagined his story.”

The Betty and Barney Hill Case

Widespread publicity was generated by the Betty and Barney Hill abduction case of 1961, culminating in a made-for-television film broadcast in 1975 (starring James Earl Jones and Estelle Parsons) dramatizing the events. The Hill incident was probably the prototypical abduction case and was perhaps the first in which the claimant described beings that later became widely known as the Greys and in which the beings were said to explicitly identify an extraterrestrial origin.

The Hills were an interracial couple in the 1960s, and the exhibit discusses Barney Hill’s civil rights activism. However, the couple is best known for giving the first reported incident of an alleged alien abduction in America.

Today, due to television shows and films, the scenario is familiar: UFOs chase down terrified witnesses on a desolate road and take them onto the spaceship to ask them questions or probe them in awkward places.

It began one night when Barney and Betty Hill claimed they were pursued by a glowing UFO through parts of New Hampshire. Betty soon had vivid nightmares (which she interpreted as fragmented memories) about the incident, and the couple came to believe that they had been abducted by the UFO’s occupants, who then erased their memories. The couple sought the help of a psychiatrist, and under hypnosis both Hills soon reported full-blown, detailed “repressed memories” of their abduction.

The Barney and Betty Hill story was celebrated as the most important UFO-related event in the 1960s, and spun into a media sensation. Their experiences became fodder for many magazine articles, books, and a made-for-TV film called “The UFO Incident.” Betty became a UFO celebrity, giving media appearances and writing a book about her story.

As the years passed, however, the story lost its gloss and most realize it to be a hoax.

No other witnesses could support their account, parts of it were implausible, and the validity of “repressed memories” was called into question. Betty Hill’s own reported experiences cast doubt on her credibility. In the decades since her original 1961 experience with her husband Barney, Betty claimed not a few, nor dozens, but hundreds of UFO sightings.

Though UFO investigators desperately wanted to believe her, that became more difficult. One UFO researcher who worked with Betty noted that she was “unable to distinguish between a landed UFO and a streetlight.” In other words, she saw UFOs where none existed.

Even many UFO believers reluctantly admit that much of Betty Hill’s experiences and stories cannot be true and instead are likely imaginative fantasies of a sincere but confused woman. With little or no corroborating evidence and no eyewitnesses to support their remarkable story, the Barney and Betty Hill abduction case is, as often happens, inconclusive at best and a complete fabrication at worst.

If the Witnesses are not hoaxers or scammers then what else explains these experiences?

Sleep paralysis
Awareness during sleep paralysis is a common explanation for this confusion, most probably as abduction experiences and conscious sleep paralysis attacks often share many of the same features, such as waking whilst unable to move, feelings of fear, dread or unease and a feeling of pressure on the body. Normal sleep paralysis happens when the body enters the REM stage of the sleep cycle. The brain stem blocks movement signals that would normally travel from the brain to the muscles, probably to stop us carrying out the movements we dream about doing. The frightening aspect of this occurs when a sleeper awakens, becomes conscious, but who’s movement control is not reinstated by the brain. This state can also be accompanied by what are known as ‘hypnopompic’ hallucinations which occur naturally to many people whilst awakening. These hallucinations can take the form of voices, lights, figures or any number of strange bodily sensations. It is little wonder that when combined with fearful paralysis such uncanny experiences might be interpreted as alien in origin.

Temporal lobe disturbance
Another commonly cited source of internal spookiness are the temporal lobes of the brain. Electrical stimulation of the surface of the temporal lobes (usually done on an awake patient when they are undergoing brain surgery) can produce unusual auditory sensations. Similarly, Michael Persinger, a Canadian scientist, has produced strange sensations in his research participants by using magnets to influence temporal lobe function from outside the skull. Such sensations have included feelings of a ‘presence’, disorientation and fear. It would seem unlikely that a possible abductee would fail to notice if someone placed large magnets near his or her head (or even that they were subject to brain surgery !) before the ‘abduction’ experience. However, similar effects can be caused by epileptic or similar seizures in the temporal lobes. Many epilepsy sufferers who have temporal lobe seizures report mystical experiences, missing time, out of body feelings or even strange smells or ‘atmospheres’ prior to, during or after a seizure. It must be remembered that not all forms of epilepsy cause dramatic shaking of the body, and many simply result in brief lapses of consciousness or experiences such as those noted above. This leads us to wonder whether disturbances in the temporal lobes may also contribute to experiences which some people may interpret as an alien abduction.

Mental illness
Surprisingly, overt mental illness may be one of the least likely explanations for abduction experiences. Research has previously suggested that alien contactees are no more likely to show signs of mental illness than the general population, a finding which has been backed up by several other studies. However, many features once thought present only in mental illness have now been discovered to be held by much of the population. If we look at the healthy population as a whole, these features seem to exist on a continuum with some people reporting anomalous thoughts and feelings or having certain traits more than others. In this vein, it seems people who report themselves as abductees are more likely to endorse unusual experiences, be creative and imaginative, have depressive ideas, be suspicious, have dissociative tendencies and to have suffered childhood trauma. So whilst it seems unlikely that the bizarre experiences reported by most ‘abductees’ stem from severe mental illness (which can produce equally bizarre and seemingly real experiences) it is certainly the case that this group has characteristics that differentiate them from the general population. It is possible that these dispositions may increase the tendency for them to explain an anomalous experience in terms of alien contact.

Memory distortion
Our memories are often infuriatingly fallible, leading us to forget information we want to remember, remember information we’d rather forget, or often confidently recall something that later turns out to be inaccurate. A recent study has investigated memory distortions in people claiming to have been subject to alien capture. Participants in the study were read several lists of similarly themed words then given tests of recall and recognition. The results of the study indicated that ‘abductees’ were able to remember words from the original list as well as ‘non-abductees’, but tended to show a higher rate of recall and recognition for words that were never actually read out in the first place. This suggests that the ‘abductees’ are more likely to misidentify the source of memories, perhaps suggesting that some elements of their abduction experience may have been culled from other sources such as the media or their own imagination.

This effect may also work retrospectively, allowing people to co-opt previous memories to support an abduction account. An early memory study conducted by Frederic Bartlett demonstrated that we reconstruct memories as they are recalled to create a coherent story. This reconstruction takes place using cultural references that give us a frame on which to hang the various remembered experiences. The alien abduction experience is well known to almost everyone, due to the popularity of shows such as the X-Files, and famous cases which have hit the headlines. This may give some people a cultural framework on which they can hang memories from a bizarre, unusual or traumatic experience. Unfortunately it is even the case that naïve or even unscrupulous therapists may push alien abduction as a explanation for a bizarre experience that a client may have undergone. Many examples of therapists willing to use hypnotic regression, a technique noted for its tendency to cause false recall, to recover abduction experiences can be found on the internet. Perhaps giving an off-the-shelf explanation for strange experiences that the brain is quite capable of generating, without the need for extra-terrestrial intervention.

Conclusion
It would certainly be foolish to discount the possibility of anything unlikely, simply because of its improbability. Yet we must also remember that we can often find explanations for anomalous experience within ourselves. As the old doctor’s adage goes ‘When you hear hoof beats, start by thinking horses not zebras’. This would seem to work as well for zebras as it does for visitors from outer-space.

Strange UFO filmed in the sky over Sunshine Coast, Australia

A man has captured the moment he spotted an unidentified object in the sky near his home on the Sunshine Coast on September 9, 2015.

Joshua Ross seen the white glow in the sky above a house and filmed it on his phone.

Soshua: “It would go up one direction and then shoot back the other direction and then it just disappeared.”

Astronomers explained the object was most likely a small meteor and the hovering effect was due to the cloud cover but I doubt if it was really a meteor because if you look closely at the start of the video and at around the 0.08 mark, you'll see that the orb changes into a doughnut-shaped orb. Then it changes again into an orb and disappears at high speed.

Is it just paranoia to suspect that agencies of government might take an interest in you for researching and writing about UFOs? Well, no, actually, it’s not. Not at all. The Freedom of Information Acts (FOIA) of more than a few nations have demonstrated time and again that, yes, elements of the UFO research community have been watched. And not just for years, but for decades. It’s very important to keep things in perspective, however. And I’ll explain exactly what I mean by that.

 

On more than a few occasions, a UFO researcher who we can prove has been the subject of official files, has also spent time digging into other potentially sensitive areas that might attract the attention of agencies of government, the military, and/or the intelligence community. This is an issue I wrote about extensively in my 2006 book, On the Trail of the Saucer Spies. It’s worth noting, however, that a great deal more (and relevant) data has surfaced since the publication of my book, and which demonstrates how and why they watch us.

 

Certainly, the lengthiest FOIA files are those on the Contactees of the 1950s. Or, it may be more accurate to say that I’m talking about the lengthiest files currently in the public domain. Admittedly, we don’t know the full extent of what still goes on behind closed doors. But, what we can say for sure is that both George Adamski and George Van Tassel were the subjects of extensive investigations by the FBI. Was it because J. Edgar Hoover wanted to know if long-haired Venusians were really visiting the Earth? Or if fellow Contactee, Truman Bethurum, got down and dirty with a hot space-babe named Aura Rhanes? Nope.

Bear in mind the time-frame: it was in the early 1950s that most of the surveillance of Adamski took place. This was the period of McCarthyism and “Reds under the beds” scares. And who was loudly claiming that his hippie-like space-buddies were dreaded commies? George Adamski, that’s who. He was saying it to sizable audiences, too. And let’s not forget the thousands of people who read his books. Adamski also stated that communism was the way of the future and that Russia was destined to dominate the world. The completely understandable concerns the FBI had about Adamski revolved around not what he claimed to know about UFOs, but of the possibility that he was using the flying saucer phenomenon as a means to spread communism. In that sense, it would be amazing if there wasn’t a file on Adamski!

 

As for George Van Tassel, the FBI had a more cordial relationship with him – and probably because while working at Hughes Aircraft in the 1940s, Van Tassel helped FBI agent Walter Bott on a number of investigations. Yes, the FBI visited Van Tassel on a few occasions and asked him to do describe his experiences with the Space-Brothers. The files, however, show that the FBI was particularly interested in the fact that many of Van Tassel’s lectures focused on controversial matters relative to atomic weapons (and the dangers they posed), religion, and the economy.

 

Files declassified via UK FOIA laws show that, close to 60 years ago, the UK Police Force’s Special Branch took an interest in a famous Contactee named George King (of Aetherius Society fame). While Special Branch concluded that King was – and I quote – “obviously a crank,” its personnel took far more than a passing interest in King’s political stance. A declassified Special Branch document of May 7, 1958 states:

 

“Since 1st June 1957, the date of the last report about the Aetherius Society, this organisation has remained active in its campaign against nuclear weapon tests, and in this respect its policy is closely allied with that of the Communist Party. However, there is still no evidence of open communist association with the Society.”

 

It doesn’t take a genius to see what was going through the minds of Special Branch staff. Here was a man, who had a degree of prominence, and who was speaking out against the British Government’s stance on atomic weapons. Special Branch’s “crank” comments show that it was not UFOs – directly – that concerned the police. It was the political nature of the cosmic, brotherly message King was spreading that bothered them and which led them to compile a 40-page dossier on the man.

 

 

Then there’s the infamous (and alleged) UFO crash at Aztec, New Mexico in March 1948. This notorious affair – a “little brother” to Roswell, one might say – attracted the FBI’s attention to a notable degree. But not so much because of the crash. Or the hoax, depending on your perspective. The reason was because two of the key players in the story were Silas Newton (whose FBI file you can find here) and Leo Gebauer. The G-Men were knew exactly who they were, and were far from impressed by either man. Which is hardly surprising.

 

Newton had a long history of controversial deals. The words “mining swindle” and “under indictment” leap out of the FBI’s files on Newton. As for Gebauer, in 1941, as FBI records show, he referred to Adolf Hitler as nothing less than “a swell fellow.” He added that the United States would benefit from having “two men” to run the country, in much the same way that Hitler ruled Germany. And he called the Brits “a dirty bunch of rats.” Something which would have led me to give Gebauer a good kicking and a few precisely delivered punches had I been around back then.

 

So, yes, we have a situation where FBI agents very closely monitored both Newton and Gebauer. And at the height of the Aztec UFO affair, too. But, who can blame the FBI? After all, both men were up to their necks in controversy, as well as things that were so shady you would imagine the pair lived under a permanent solar eclipse!

Did Ancient Aliens Impart Advanced Astronomical Knowledge to the Dogon Tribe?

The universe is full of mysteries that challenge our current knowledge. In “Beyond Science” Epoch Times collects stories about these strange phenomena to stimulate the imagination and open up previously undreamed of possibilities. Are they true? You decide.

Skeptics and proponents of the ancient aliens theory have faced off for decades on the issue of the Dogon tribe’s allegedly advanced astronomical knowledge.

Here’s a look at some of the arguments on both sides concerning this tribe from Mali, Africa, and its purported knowledge of the motions of a star not visible on Earth without modern telescopes. 

What The Dogon Are Said to Have Known

Sirius is the brightest star in the sky and had a prominent place in many ancient cultures. Sirius, which is about 8.7 light years from Earth, has a white dwarf companion star, Sirius B. Sirius B cannot be seen with the naked eye, and astronomers first guessed at its existence in the 1830s. They mathematically developed a theoretical model of its orbit around Sirius (now referred to as Sirius A) later in the 19th century.

The astronomers knew that Sirius B must be made of a super dense matter, but the specifics were beyond their comprehension until quantum physics helped explain it in 1926. In 1894, irregularities in the movement of Sirius B led astronomers to consider that a third star, Sirius C, may exist and exert an influence on Sirius B’s orbit. It is still a matter of debate whether Sirius C exists or not.

The Dogon are said to have known all of this centuries before Western astronomers began contemplating it. For them, Sirius is a three-star system. They allegedly accurately describe Sirius B: they say it is a companion star for Sirius that is invisible from Earth, that it has a 50-year orbital period, that it travels around Sirius A along an elliptical path, and it is made of a heavy substance not found on Earth.

The Dogon are also said to have understood that the Earth and other planets rotate on their axes, that they orbit the sun, that Jupiter has four moons, and that Saturn has a ring around it.

An article by NASA’s Chandra observatory stated: “Carl Sagan commented in his book, ‘Broca’s Brain,’ the conclusion about planetary orbits, though a rare insight, is one that can be achieved without high technology, as demonstrated by some Greeks and Copernicus. As for the moons of Jupiter, and Saturn’s ring, with a combination of extraordinary eyesight and perfectly clear skies, it just might be possible to see them without a telescope.”

Could The Dogon Have Somehow Seen Sirius B Themselves?

But skeptics and ancient aliens proponents generally seem to agree that the Dogon could not have observed Sirius B or its orbit around Sirius A themselves.

The only way Sirius B would have been visible to the Dogon (and all other cultures) is if it were a red giant a few thousand years ago, according to Liam McDaid, an astronomy professor at Sacramento City College and a senior scientist for non-profit organization The Skeptic Society. If this were the case, anyone could have easily observed both Sirius A and Sirius B in action. Some say the ancients indeed described Sirius as a red giant.

But, McDaid explained [highlight]in an article[/highlight] written for the society: “One problem with this idea is that Sirius B has been a white dwarf for at least tens of thousands of years. If Sirius B had been a red giant only a few thousand years ago, there would still be a bright and noticeable planetary nebula around it today. No such nebula is seen.”

“The second problem is that ancient writers seemed to use color for stars in a way different from the way that we do (they described Pollux, Arcturus, and Capella as ‘red’—a modern observer would call them yellow-orange, orange, and yellow, respectively).

“And finally, even if Sirius B had been a visible red giant a few thousand years ago, how would the Dogon know that Sirius B was still there after it became a white dwarf?”

McDaid concluded, as did famed astronomer Carl Sagan, that the Dogon’s knowledge of Sirius B must have come from an advanced culture. Sagan and McDaid said it must have come from modern Western culture, others say this is unlikely.

What are the Chances of Receiving the Knowledge From Western Contact?

The theory that the Dogon possessed this advanced knowledge of Sirius B is based on the anthropological accounts of Dr. Germaine Dieterlen, the Secretary General of the Société des Africainistes at the Musée de l’Homme in Paris, and Dr. Marcel Griaule who visited the tribe together in the 1930s.

Robert Temple’s book “The Sirius Mystery,” published in 1976, popularized the ancient aliens theory as an explanation of the Dogon’s knowledge. He refuted the arguments given by Sagan for why the Dogon may have gained the astronomical knowledge through contact with the Western world.

In an open letter to Sagan, written in 1981, Temple stated: “As [Dr. Dieterlen] has spent most of her life living with the Dogon and knows them and their traditions more intimately than anyone else alive, her opinion on a possible Western origin for the Sirius traditions of the Dogon is of the highest importance. She answers such suggestions with a single word: ‘Absurd!’”

During an interview for a BBC special, she had shown a 400-year-old Dogon artifact representing the three stars of the Sirius system. This part was edited out of the American broadcast, Temple said, which may be why American skeptics have overlooked this evidence and Dieterlen’s testimony.

In a sober and lucid interview for a rather bizarre show, “Talk Psychic,” Temple stated: “If you ask the Dogon, they will tell you, and that’s what nobody else wants to hear. They say that their ancestors were given the information from visitors from the system of the star Sirius.”

Temple said the knowledge of the Sirius system is pervasive in Dogon culture, “embodied in … hundreds or thousands of objects, symbols, woven blankets, carved statues, et cetera.” He thinks it is impossible that the knowledge could have seeped into the culture so quickly from the time Western astronomers made these discoveries to the the time Dieterlen and Griaule began their research in 1931.

“And how these hundreds or thousands of objects are meant to have been expertly fabricated fakes purporting to be centuries old … baffles me even more,” he continued. “It is considerations like these and many more (such as the tribal sacredness of the tradition making it unlikely that it could have come from Western intruders who would not have been highly regarded or in the confidence of the meticulous and traditional priests) which lead Dr. Dieterlen to reject the suggestion of Western origins as ‘absurd.’”

The Dogon’s contact with Western society, with people who would have known of the astronomer’s discoveries, was limited in the 19th century into the early 20th century. But, some interaction did occur, so it is not impossible that they came into contact with the information this way. Even if they did, however, is it possible they already had this understanding of the Sirius system?

ET Genetic Code May Be Found In Human DNA, According To Kazakhstan Scientists’ Biological SETI Theory

For those of us who wonder if earthlings are the only intelligent species in the Milky Way and beyond, try this theory on for size:

Two scientists in Kazakhstan believe humans may have an extraterrestrial “stamp” embedded into our genetic code, a mathematical message that would not be explained by Darwin’s theory of biological evolution.

The scientists are suggesting that an advanced alien civilization “seeded” our galaxy eons ago with an ET signal that eventually found its way to Earth, implanting a genetic code into humans, reports Discovery.com.

Physicist Vladimir I. shCherbak of al-Farabi Kazakh National University of Kazakhstan and astrobiologist Maxim A. Makukov of the Fesenkvo Astrophysical Institute refer to this far-out concept as “biological SETI.”

The results of their research — “The ‘Wow! signal’ of the terrestrial genetic code” — can be found in the peer-reviewed journal, Icarus.

The title of their study, which was partially financed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, refers to an unexplained radio signal detected by SETI scientists in 1977.

Buitenaardse basis in Zwitserland ( UPDATE + VIDEO )

Sommige mensen zien vaker UFO’s dan andere en er zijn eveneens bepaalde plekken op aarde waar met regelmaat onbekende vliegende objecten worden waargenomen. 

Eén daarvan is de Zwitserse stad Biel/Bienne waar men zowel Frans als Duits spreekt.

In het onderstaande originele artikel schreven wij dat het goed mogelijk is dat er zich ergens in de buurt van de Zwitserse stad Biel/Bienne een buitenaardse ondergrondse basis bevindt. 

De reden is dat er op heel regelmatige basis UFO’s worden waargenomen. 

Zo is dat ook nu weer het geval. Iemand heeft opnames gemaakt van een soort zilverkleurige UFO die zich probeert te verbergen in en achter enkele wolken.

De afgelopen jaren zijn talloze UFO’s gesignaleerd in deze streek aan de voet van het Jura gebergte.

Het schijnt dat er zich bij of onder die stad ergens een buitenaardse basis bevindt, aldus ufoloog Scott C. Waring. 

De reden is dat er in de buurt op regelmatige basis UFO’s worden gezien, zoals de volgende.

Volgens Scott heeft de maker van onderstaande video’s bovenstaande UFO 49 keer vastgelegd op verschillende data, teruggaand tot 2012. 

Volgens hem is het daarom zeker dat er zich ergens in de buurt een ondergrondse basis bevindt. 

Wat locatie betreft zou het zeker kunnen want Biel/Bienne ligt aan de zuidvoet van het Juragebergte, wat geschikt zou zijn daarvoor. 

Hier volgen enkele opnames die de man de afgelopen jaren van deze bijzondere UFO heeft gemaakt, te beginnen met een van meerdere exemplaren enkele dagen geleden.

Do you see the whitish parts on this disk? Thats the metal tungsten that he describes. It has been found at some alleged UFO crash sites. Also this disk was measured to be over 1 million years old. It looks to me like the stone disks I’ve seen in Mars NASA photos, which leads me to conclude that this UFO is a military drone, but it was probably damaged during the Mars attack and got off course, crashing on Earth. This one is also big enough it might not be a drone, but a manned vessel. Remember alien have the power to make anything fly, regardless of weight. This disk is special, DARPA will want it, because its the perfect drone. How many times would Russia have to shoot at one of these to knock it out of the sky? A lot.

Just a couple of hours ago, about 8-9 pm September 9, the first day of excavation ended in Medveditskaya ridge zhirnovsky district in the Volgograd region.  The place long ago became a famous because of mystical phenomenon.  It justifies its reputation at this time. Experts “Kosmopoisk” managed to find a giant disk, the first-ever 4-meter-high stone disc. UFOlogists have no doubt that it is from space. We managed to find a dozen of these stone disks, he told the “Notepad Volgograd,” a famous Russian UFO researcher Vadim Chernobrov.  However, this is such a unique one. 

Other disks have diameters of not more than 1 meter. Previously, we have been able to publish the findings of these alien objects, but the biggest of them found in the Kuzbass was a diameter of 2 meters. The stone disc UFOs really made waves. A man said that in the area they are something mystical. Ufologists are expected to know the age of the discovery and the purpose of the metallic inclusions. The results were quite controversial. Judging by geoporodam on the subject, its age is about one million years. Meanwhile, the metal inclusions in it, in particular, tungsten, has not been understood. Examinations will continue. Now the disc is in Zhirnovsky museum. Work on the ground will be resumed tomorrow. UFOlogists expect to continue to look for traces of the UFO in the Volgograd region.

Wetenschappers zoeken mogelijk verkeerd naar buitenaards leven. Dat zeggen vier Japanse wetenschappers. Sterrenkundigen zoeken in de dampkring van andere planeten of er zuurstof is. Waar zuurstof is, is leven, is de gedachte. Maar volgens de Japanners betekent zuurstof niet automatisch dat er leven is.

Op aarde nemen planten koolstofdioxide en water op. Vervolgens stoten ze onder meer zuurstof uit. Dat wordt fotosynthese genoemd. Dankzij de zuurstof kunnen andere levensvormen bestaan, waaronder mensen en dieren. 

Vals alarm
Maar de Japanners zeggen dat zuurstof ook kan worden gemaakt als licht schijnt op titaandioxide. Dat veroorzaakt dus een vals alarm. En er hoeft maar een beetje titaandioxide te zijn om evenveel zuurstof te produceren als in de dampkring van de aarde. Het kan dus dat leven mogelijk lijkt op een planeet en dat er evenveel zuurstof is als op aarde, maar dat er toch geen organismes zijn die zorgen dat er zuurstof is.

De Japanners publiceren hun verhaal in het wetenschapsblad Scientific Reports, dat verbonden is aan Nature. Hun conclusie is dat wetenschappers bij hun zoektocht naar buitenaards leven naar meer moeten kijken dan alleen zuurstof.

Mysterie Stonehenge nog vreemder: wetenschappers vinden 100 extra blokken

Wie denkt dat wetenschappers op het punt staan om het mysterie van Stonehenge op te lossen, heeft het mis. Gisteren werd de kwestie nog een stuk ingewikkelder, nadat wetenschappers bekend maakten een tweede site gevonden te hebben. Amper 3 kilometer verderop vonden ze nog eens 100 grote blokken, begraven onder de grond.

Het team van archeologen en wetenschappers dat The Stonehenge Living Landscapes gedurende vijf jaar nauwkeurig onder de loep neemt, deed de belangrijke ontdekking. En belangrijk is daarbij geen understatement: volgens hen kan deze vondst wel eens het grootste, nog intacte prehistorische monument van Groot-Brittannië blijken.

Met behulp van gesofisticeerde radartechnologie werden de stenen gevonden, die tot nu toe 'verloren waren voor de archeologie'. De stenen liggen zo'n 100 centimeter onder de grond aan de rand van de Durrington Walls. Op deze plek woonden in Neolithische tijden (Zo'n 4.500 jaar geleden) heel wat mensen, al is vandaag de dag enkel nog de gigantische wal - uit aarde opgebouwd - zichtbaar. Vermoedelijk werden de zopas gevonden stenen van de wal geduwd.

In tegenstelling tot Stonehenge stonden de stenen - elk zo'n 4,5 meter hoog - niet in een cirkel, maar in een (min of meer) rechte lijn voor ze werden omgeduwd. De lijn zou overeenkomen met de baan van de zon tijdens de winterzonnewende. Vermoedelijk hadden ze ook een religieuze betekenis, net als de originele Stonehenge 3 kilometer verderop. Waarom ze precies werden omgeduwd, is niet helemaal duidelijk. Volgens de wetenschappers zouden de gigantische stenen zelfs over de rand geduwd kunnen zijn om hun religieuze betekenis te beschermen.

Leuvense wetenschappers ­ontdekten dat er zachte winden waaien die als een aircosysteem werken. «De kans op ­buitenaards leven is veel groter dan gedacht.»

De KULeuven zorgt nog eens voor wereldnieuws. Afgelopen weekeinde kreeg professor Sterrenkunde Leen Decin, één van de drie hoofdonderzoekers, al felicitaties en telefoons vanover de hele ­wereld - vanop déze aardbol toch - over de nieuwe studie. 

Volg even mee wat haar team precies ontdekte: "Om bewoonbaar te zijn, moet er op een planeet vloeibaar water zijn. Het moet er dus tussen 0° en 90° Celsius zijn. Het probleem is dat veel planeten buiten ons zonnestelsel een permanente dag- en nachtzijde hebben, zoals onze maan. Ze hangen zo dicht bij hun zon, dat ze door de getijdenkracht niet draaien en nooit hun achterkant tonen", legt de professor uit. 

"Het nadeel is dat de voorkant bloedheet is en de achterkant ijskoud. Leven is er niet mogelijk. Maar, als er wind staat die niet te hard en niet te zacht waait, ontstaat op zo'n planeet een airco-systeem dat leven wél mogelijk maakt. De koude lucht van de achterkant van de planeet koelt zo de hitte aan de voorkant af. Tot nu ging de wetenschap ervan uit dat de wind op veel planeten té hard en té snel waait om de hete voorkant goed te kunnen afkoelen. Die snelle wind rond de evenaar zou bijna een muur zijn waar de hete opstijgende lucht van de voorkant niet door raakt. Wij ontdekken nu dat de wind in twee op drie gevallen wél goed staat."

Het Belgisch UFO-meldpunt ontving onlangs een waarneming uit De Pinte. Op 19 augustus 2015 werd omstreeks 9u28 een vreemd cirkelvormig object gefilmd met een dashcam. Het bewoog zich van zuidwestelijke naar noordoostelijke richting. Het meldpunt zoekt getuigen van deze waarneming.

De beelden van de dashcam zijn van redelijk goede kwaliteit en daarom wil het UFO-meldpunt dit geval grondiger onderzoeken. Om deze specifieke melding te kunnen verklaren, zijn er meer getuigenissen of beeldmateriaal nodig.

Getuigen die dit object ook gezien hebben en eventueel op film hebben vastgelegd, kunnen dit via het online meldingsformulier laten weten.

Mysterie aan het Heemskerkse strand, Nederland 

Een vrouw gaat wandelen met haar hond langs het strand in het Noord Hollandse Heemskerk. 

Ze maakt een aantal foto’s van haar hond die vrolijk ronddartelt op het strand en dan ziet ze iets vreemds…. 

Soms komen er vreemde objecten voor op foto’s die niet zo een twee drie te verklaren zijn. Het volgende verhaal lijkt in die categorie te vallen. 

Wij ontvingen het volgende e-mail bericht (dank!): 

Op het strand van Wijk aan Zee heb ik woensdag 9 sept. Om 12.00 3 foto's achter elkaar gemaakt van mijn hond terwijl ze terug kwam rennen met de bal. 

Ik zie links boven de 1e een zwart ovaal iets, op de 2e duikt het in zee. Op de 3e is er niks meer te zien. 

Mijn kinderen spreken over een vogel. Ik ben benieuwd naar jullie reactie. Genomen met mijn iphone 4 s. 

Wanneer we de foto’s bekijken dan zien we het volgende: 

Op de eerste foto zie je linksboven in beeld een vreemdsoortig object vliegen.

Wanneer we dat object uitvergroten dan lijkt het inderdaad op een soort vogel. Tegelijkertijd heeft het ook wel de vorm van een zogenaamde klassieke retro UFO.

De tweede foto is wat ons betreft een mysterie. Aangezien de foto’s volgens de getuige achter elkaar zijn genomen, mogen we aannemen dat het zwarte object dat rechtsboven in beeld te zien is, net boven het water, hetzelfde object is als op de eerste afbeelding.

Wanneer we dit object weer uitvergroten dan wordt de puzzel alleen maar groter. Het lijkt hier totaal niet meer op een vogel, maar ook niet echt op een UFO. Het lijkt misschien nog het meest op een soort dolfijn die uit het water springt.

Op de derde en laatste foto is alles weer schoon en leeg. Wij hebben dan ook geen idee of het object onder water is verdwenen of is weggevlogen.

Wij noch de lezeres weten wat het is wat op beeld is vastgelegd. Als iemand er gedachten over heeft dan horen we dat graag.

Misschien is het iets heel eenvoudigs waar wij niet aan gedacht hebben of misschien is het toch een mysterie wat niet zomaar opgelost kan worden.

Tweede zon en UFO boven Heerhugowaard, Nederland 

Er zijn opnames van tweede zonnen aan de hemel, er zijn opnames van UFO’s en er zijn opnames van chemtrails.

Wat is de kans dat je alledrie tegenkomt in één foto die ook nog eens gemaakt is in ons eigen land? 

Twee dagen geleden, op 10 september 's avonds rond een uur of zeven, is een lezer met zijn partner onderweg wanneer ze iets bijzonders waarnemen. 

Na een terugreis vanaf een crematie viel mij op dat in de heldere lucht een soort van regenboog in de lucht hing maar leek meer op een cirkel met regenboogkleuren en meer op een tweede zon leek. 

Ik zei nog lachend tegen mijn partner dat is de tweede zon Nibiru aangezien de zon aan de rechterkant stond.

Mijn partner sceptisch hoe ze kan zijn zag het ook en vond het maar vreemd. Inderdaad de zon stond immers te schijnen aan de rechterkant. ik vroeg haar om foto's te nemen omdat ik het wel interessant vind. 

Rond middernacht ging ik de foto's nader bekijken en mij viel op dat er iets anders op de foto's stond. 

eerst een donker stipje wat ook een vlek kan zijn maar op een foto zie ik toch echt dat stipje bij het inzoomen iets metaalachtigs glinsteren.

Zouden dit de foto's zijn met chemtrails, de planeet nibiru en een ufo in een ? Ik weet het niet kijk zelf maar.

Dit zijn wat ons betreft spectaculaire opnames. Vooral ook omdat beide getuigen de tweede zon eerst met het blote oog waarnamen en daarna pas foto’s maakten. Hierdoor zijn zaken zoals lensflares uitsluiten. 

Een tweede vreemd fenomeen is de UFO die zich rondom en op een gegeven moment ín de chemtrail bevindt. In de uitvergroting (tweede foto) is duidelijk het metaalachtige uiterlijk van dit vliegend object te zien. 

Zoals we in eerdere artikelen hebben geschreven, komen UFO’s regelmatig voor in de buurt van chemtrails. De reden die ze daarvoor hebben is nog steeds niet duidelijk.

UFO heeft bijna botsing met Ryanair vliegtuig boven Eindhoven, Nederland ( Video )

Overal ter wereld worden nu video-opnames getoond van een UFO die bij Eindhoven vlak langs een Ryanair toestel schiet. 

Volgens getuigen maakte het vliegtuig een onverwachte beweging en werden daarmee de passagiers in gevaar gebracht. 

Het internet wordt overspoeld met beelden van UFO’s en vaak zitten daar hele mooie nogal spectaculaire opnames tussen. 

De kunst is dan ook om te proberen het kaf van het koren te scheiden want er is zo langzamerhand een complete industrie die goed geld verdient aan het maken van nepopnames. 

Want, ook nepopnames gaan vrolijk de wereld rond, niemand neemt vaak de moeite om even iets verder te kijken en iedereen kopiëert elkaar want dan heb je een leuk verhaal. 

Zo kan het dat er enkele dagen geleden een Nederlandse UFO-opname de wereld rondgaat en verschijnt in een aantal grote publicaties zoals de Daily Mail en de Huffington Post. 

Het is het verhaal van een Nederlands heerschap dat zichzelf Lions Ground noemt en die een video op Youtube plaatst over een UFO die rakelings langs een Ryanair vliegtuig schiet. 

De man levert er zelf commentaar bij in het (Hollands) Engels.

Dit is wat er onder de video staat:

De man heeft verder een website waar hij vol trots, in gebrekkig Engels, nog het een en ander toelicht, zoals het volgende: 

On August 24, 2015 we received a video recording made on board a Ryanair jet. This person wish to remain anonymous for private reasons. 

The witness have traveled by airplane over 16 years. However, the situation caused panic on the plane and have put the passengers in danger. 

Verder toont hij een afbeelding van een studio waar volgens hemzelf de beelden minutieus zijn onderzocht en hij staat dan ook in voor de echtheid daarvan. 

Kortom, een mooi succes met een video die wereldwijd wordt gepromoot door de pers en die inmiddels al rond de 400.000 keer is bekeken. 

Maar, is het echt of is het nep? 

Dat is iets wat iedereen voor zich moet beslissen, maar wij hebben wel de volgende kanttekeningen: 

De man heeft naar eigen zeggen de video eind augustus in handen gekregen van de getuige. Dan heeft deze er wel heel lang over gedaan om de video in te leveren of zoals iemand onder de video opmerkt: Er lag wel erg veel sneeuw in Holland deze zomer. 

Wanneer iemand uitgebreid onderzoek doet en met veel bombarie de wereldpers en Ryanair benadert dan verwacht je toch tenminste dat je het vliegtuigtype goed hebt. De opnames laten een Boeing 737-800 zien en geen Airbus zoals wordt gezegd. 

Een blik op de Ryanair website laat het volgende zien: 

Our policy of exclusively operating the 737-800 is part of our strategy to bring you the cheapest flights on all of our routes, and in fact, our sole use of the 737-800 is not just good for fares, but also for safety. 

Mensen met vliegervaring valt verder nog een paar dingen op. 

De man zegt hij dat het gaat om een vlucht van Eindhoven naar Spanje en dat de piloot direct na het opstijgen al vreemde manoeuvres uitvoerde. 

Wanneer dat het geval geweest zou zijn dat had het geluid van de motoren anders moeten klinken (vol vermogen) en was de hoek ten opzichte van de horizon van het toestel steiler geweest.

Dan zie je dat in de onderste afbeelding de hoek van de vleugel ten opzichte van de horizon veel vlakker is, los van de stand van de flaps die ook het een en ander verraad, en dit een afbeelding is van een vliegtuig dat bezig is met de nadering en aanstaande landing op een vliegveld, misschien wel Eindhoven. Maar het is absoluut geen toestel dat net is opgestegen van Eindhoven richting Spanje. 

De man is dus heel erg slordig en heeft het verhaal van de getuige volkomen verkeerd begrepen of hij liegt en als dat zo is dan is met grote waarschijnlijkheid de rest van de video ook gelogen.

Een sigaarvormige UFO boven je huis ( Video )

Regelmatig worden er meldingen gemaakt van een UFO die de vorm heeft van een cilinder, ook wel de sigaarvormige UFO genoemd. 

Ze worden op diverse plekken op aarde gesignaleerd zoals bij vulkanen, maar ook in de ruimte,bij het ISS en de planeet Mars. 

Welke rol deze schepen spelen, is niet helemaal duidelijk. Het zouden een soort buitenaardse moederschepen kunnen zijn van waaruit de kleinere ronde UFO’s opereren of het zouden bijvoorbeeld menselijke bevoorradingsschepen kunnen zijn voor de geheime aardse kolonie op Mars of militaire experimenten die in het geheim worden getest. 

In ieder geval is het wel even schrikken als je een dergelijk schip zo ongeveer boven je huis ziet zoals een van onze lezers overkwam die in een stille streek in Frankrijk woont. 

Hij schrijft het volgende (dank!): 

We zitten er al een tijd mee in ons hoofd; Soms denk je, ja wat was dat???? 

Circa 4 jaar geleden, stonden we buiten te kijken naar de sterren(augustus is sterrenmaand. Plots kwam er iets zonder geluid op ons af, niet snel en vrij laag (niet meer dan 40 meter boven ons). 

Op het moment dat het voor ons kwam(circa op 20 meter), kregen we de indruk, dat het eventjes bleef, we vermoeden een 5 seconden. Het zag er uit als een lange cilinder van circa een groot huis tussen de 15 en 25 meter, kleur moeilijk te zien, we denken grijs of antraciet bruin, zeker niet bleek, weinig of geen licht gezien op dat toestel... 

Na die 5 seconden bijna stilstand, ging het plots iets sneller en vertrok richting zuid, het kwam uit noordoostelijke richting. 

Wij dachten, het is waarschijnlijk een geheim toestel van het Franse leger, dat uitgetest wordt ‘s nachts in dunbevolkte gebieden), maar zo geluidloos--dat vonden we heel raar. 

Wat kan dit zijn???? 

Tja, dat zouden wij ook graag willen weten. 

Het verhaal lijkt enigszins op die sigaarvormige UFO die vorig jaar boven Oekraïne werd gesignaleerd. Ook deze bewoog zich op een soort statige manier door de lucht zonder ook maar het minste geluid te maken.

 

Of, wie weet was het wel de sigaarvormige UFO die in oktober 2012 op een spectaculaire manier verdween in de beroemde Popocatépetl vulkaan in Mexico. 

 

Suggesties over wat die verschijning in Frankrijk geweest kan zijn, worden uiteraard gewaardeerd.

Manta Ray UFO Appears Over Costa Rica

What looks like a photography drone at first has become a mysterious object resembling a manta ray. It had no visible propellers, leading the witness to conclude it was something else. The witness spotted the object near Ciudad Colon, Costa Rica.

Mutual UFO Network received a report on August 29 about the 11-minute sighting on a bright morning of March 22. MUFON posted the eyewitness account along with the photos.

The witness noted that the object did not reflect much sunlight even though it was a bright morning.

The photos show different angles of the object. Through looking at the pictures, it appears that the object is swerving from side to side.

UFO enthusiast Scott Waring believes that the likelihood of these photos being fake is very low overall. He explains that Americans made 95 percent of fake UFO photos, so these pictures being shot in Costa Rica are likely genuine.

Texas Witness Records A Video Of A Circular UFO

McAllen witness in Texas recalled a UFO sighting in 2012 where he saw and recorded a video of an unidentified circular object moving against the wind, according to Case 63070 MUFON testimony.

Looking at the northeast sky, the witness observed a round object moving from that direction to the north-northwest about 5 pm on October 4, 2012.

He used a Jazz mov178 HD camcorder in filming the object for under three minutes. At first glance, the object appeared like a balloon, but it did not move in the direction of the wind, which was blowing to the south.

The object seemed to roll with the corona-like pulsation of orange-yellow energy, according to the description of the witness. The witness added that the object then appeared to change its size and shape. It can be seen at the end of the video travelling back along its flight path for few seconds. It then making an 180-degree course change in a second, putting it back on its original course.

The witness thought the object stayed on its course towards the northwest direction, but it was no longer visible. The witness said he was not overly excited about the sighting because he has filmed other strange events and submitted them with videos to MUFON in the past. Curiosity was his greatest emotion than excitement, according to the witness.

Charles Stansburge, a Texas Field Investigator and a member of STAR Team, investigated the case and filed it as Unknown.

McAllen has 140,717 population, making it the 21st most populous city in Texas and the largest in Hidalgo County.

YouTube Video Shows An Unknown Balls Of Light Hovering In The Night Sky

A YouTube video shows what looks like a reddish orange fireball. The video uploader Carole Thorpe said it’s the second time she and her friends had experienced seeing that kind of aerial ball.

The footage shows a hovering UFO that looks like balls of light in the night sky above a lake. Carole Thorpe said it seemed to be moving deliberately in a line from South to North. The object in the video looks to be shaking with lights flickering on and off.

According to Ms Thorpe, she shot the video at Grayslake Village, Illinois, at around past 9 pm on 6th September. The incident has been reported to the National UFO Reporting Center. Thorpe said she received a reply saying that they received reports that night, and they can’t identify the object.

The object was moving without any sound. Ms Thorpe believes it’s not a meteor or Chinese lantern.

Unidentified flying objects, otherwise known as UFOs, have been sighted throughout history, with one prominent example of strange shaped objects and luminous lights terrifying people on several occasions. On another website, the meteorite was thought to be the subject of Russian action. Another site said that the identification of alien spacecraft is a newly created Aerospace Defence Forces after attempting to destroy another spacecraft planning to enter the Earth over Texas.

Among the many theories and speculations, most people still believe and convinced in the meteorite. What are these unidentified sightings? There may be no concrete answer to that traditional question, but it will not stop humans from wondering, is there anyone else out there?

Witness report: Bright star-like object moving at rapid speed with no sound
I woke up for work around six and went outside to take the dog out and smoke a cigarette. As I open the door I saw a bright star like object moving from the west towards me which was east then it took a slight northeastern flight path. To my naked eye it just look like a bright star but after viewing the video that I shot of it I realize that it was a doughnut shaped object.

Witness report: 2 Objects travelling in tandem in the N+E, the first object was very bright and it caught my attention as I was looking about. As I was filming I noticed another small orb moving with the brighter object which appeared to stay at the same magnitude and brightness. I look on my Stellarium program to see if anything was going to be in that area at the time but with no avail. I could not seem to Identify these strange and peculiar objects.

New footage of a bright unidentified flying objects flying across the night sky above Vallejo, California. This was taken on 6th September 2015.

Witness report: My son captured a few minutes of video on his cell phone of a string of flashing red lights that seemed to rise up from the direction of the Richmond/Martinez refinery docks along San Pablo Bay, then to pass over the Carquinez Bridge and then to proceed east along the Carquinez Strait. This video doesn’t capture what we saw with our naked eyes, which is that these lights were bright red, glowing bright like road flares so they created an orb effect, though they appeared to be flashing “electronically”. Most notably, they appeared to be vertical “sticks” that moved through the air steadily, as opposed to the way balloons act when they are blown along by variable breezes. In fact, last night was far more still than most nights around here, when we typically get strong easterly winds. Somehow the stick shapes remained perfectly vertical as they moved along, staying low over the strait at first before gaining elevation and going out of sight over Benicia. There was no apparent reason for why they remained in the air; no balloons holding them aloft that one could see, or no airplane dragging them along behind. (It would have been too long of a trailing tail for such a thing to be done anyway.) The event lasted for a few minutes as more and more of them just kept coming up over the bridge. My wife saw them and thought we were being invaded. There was no sound as 20, possibly more, of these glowing orbs appeared, moving along the strait, rising in the sky and disappearing (blinking out?) more or less over Benicia. The sight brought neighbors out of their houses to watch them. When I first saw the lights coming our way I thought that they may have been helicopters, until I saw their shapes. They seemed to move as if under control, looking a lot like those red orbs in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, but they were clearly vertical stick shapes with pulsating lights top and bottom. My second thought was that they may have been some form of those flying lanterns the Asian community loves so, but these were clearly not flames we were seeing, but more like electronic flashing lights. A helicopter appeared in the area shortly after the event passed, and it circled for a time as if surveilling the area in which we had just seen these weird glowing lights. It was too dark by then to see what type of helicopter it was, but it looked big and it was loud, like the kind we have coming out of nearby Travis Air Force base. You must look pretty hard to see the cluster of lights in the sky in this video, which is a snippet of a video that lasted for a couple minutes. You might be able to pick out the stick shape of some of the closer lights. It is the second instance of unidentified flying objects that we have seen in this area in the past six weeks. The earlier one was in bright daylight and looked like a very large but shallow rectangular shape that moved over Vallejo then took a sharp left, turned sideways so that it became tall and narrow, and quickly moved in the direction of the coast. We have seen neither event noted in the local news and have no idea what it was that we saw – true unidentified flying objects. A few years back we saw four red lights moving over the Valero refinery north of Benicia, before the configuration changed shapes to a triangular form and slowly moved away from us. Just sharing because it is all so weird and I can’t imagine what any of it has been.

A UFO In High Speed Passes Ryanair Jet

A passenger on board Boeing 737 appears to record on video a small black object that passes the plane’s wing at very high speed, leaving a dark smoke trail.

The videographer of the apparent close encounter said that the pilot had to maneuver hard to avoid the unidentified flying object, which was deemed hostile.

According to the report, the footage was taken from the inside of a Ryanair flight from Holland to Spain. Lions Ground UFO group published the video to YouTube. Member Heathcliff said that a Dutch passenger caught a UFO on video while on board the airbus.

The passenger had no intention to record any strange activity as she only wanted to take a shot at the view she enjoyed. After four minutes of recording, the UFO event took place.

According to the witness’ report, she heard a lot of noise from the engines and the pilot made a sudden maneuver. The UFO allegedly put the aircraft in danger, and a lot of panics was on that plane.

Conspiracy theorist, Heathcliff, said that the object travelled too fast to be a bird.

The video has garnered over 100,000 views since being uploaded on Tuesday. It came out after the discovery of a little alien creature on a river bank that baffled Russian scientists.

According to the report, two residents next to the River Kovashi found the alien corpse with a skull in the Russian town of Sosnovy on Sunday.

BBC Cut The Video Of Patrick Moore Seeing A UFO, Alien Hunter Claims

Astronomer Sir Patrick Moore had seen a UFO, an alien investigator claimed. The world famous astronomer even caught it on film during the documentary at paranormal hotbed Warminster. However, the BBC cut out the video and his real reaction, according to the claim.

Matt Lyons, an alien researcher, made the allegations during the commemoration of the mystery’s 50th anniversary that shook Britain from 1965 to 1980 and turned the country town in southwest England to a hotspot for UFO chasers coming from different parts of the world.

Dubbed as one of the strangest cases of mass paranormal sightings, the Warminster event started a series of reports on mystery noises and sightings. While strange phenomena were recorded before 1965, it was in that time reports of sightings and unexplained noises intensified.

Detonation noise shook Boreham Field housing estate of the town and then a massive orange flame appeared in the sky.

In the same year, there were reports of mysterious sounds killing flocks of pigeons, which also published in 1964.

The phenomena eventually called as the Warminster Thing after several people reported seeing a series of paranormal sightings in the sky, accompanied by strange noises, in 1965.

Local newspaper reporter Arthur Shuttlewood broke the story of the Warminster Thing. Mr Lyons relayed a story from Shuttlewood when he was detailing his involvement in research of the event.

A known sceptic, late Sir Patrick, interviewed Mr Shuttlewood on January 31, 1969, at Cradle Hill before he, together with his crew, spent a night of stargazing in the area.

Mr Shuttlewood wrote a report later about the sceptical documentary that was hosted by the astronomer after it was screened in May of the same year.

Mr Shuttlewood, who passed away in 1996, wrote that Sir Patrick and the entire crew of BBC spotted something unexplainable. Three of their watches reportedly stopped after arriving.

They recorded on video an orange glow after a satellite arced from north to south. The mysterious light then developed into an ellipsoidal craft, which flew low in the opposite direction to the satellite.

The strange thing then flared into a glowing brilliance while gliding unerringly and without noise towards the darkened copse saddling Cradle Hill.
According to Shuttlewood, Sir Patrick did not call it UFO but admit the sighting of inexplicable light formations was utterly fascinating.

Mr Shuttlewood added the producer later sent him a letter saying how much they appreciated for giving them a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

The episode of the BBC2 programme is still available online. It shows Sir Patrick meeting several paranormal theory believers before debunking the theories.

In a segment talking about the Warminster, Sir Patrick maintained doubts that the camera caught a UFO and said it was likely another satellite.

However, Mr Shuttlewood claimed in his report Moore’s immediate shock reaction after seeing the strange activity did not show up in the final cut.

Speaking at the anniversary conference, Mr Lyons said the media has a history of this particular sighting, but not taking UFOs seriously. Meanwhile, BBC spokesperson maintained that they have a lot of things in their archive, but no flying saucers or aliens.

Researchers from Russia suggest that one of those out-of-place discovers is the prehistoric bison that is believed to have bee shot with a fire arm, the only thing strange about it, is its age. The remains of the bison that has a bullet hole in the cranium is displayed at the Museum of Paleontology in Moscow, you can see a perfectly round hole that was supposedly caused by the impact of a projectile launched at high-speed. Researchers belive, even though they never found the remains of the projectile, that the hole in the cranium was caused by a bullet caliber similar to the ones we use today. Even more strangely, this animal is native to the region o Yakuzia in Eastern Siberia and lived in the region over 30,000 years ago! So what did we miss in history? Is it possible that highly advanced civilization existed thousands of years ago? Before our “modern history”?

 

Another one of those strange cases is the so-called “Neanderthal hunter.” In 1921, the British Museum received a human skull found under curious circumstances. In a remote zinc mine located in Zambia, formerly called Northern Rhodesia, workers accidentally stumbled upon a mysterious cavern. The cave was crowded with human remains, all impressions gave the idea that the place was some kind of prehistoric cemetery. Recovery efforts of the bones were very clumsy and only a small amount of the bones ended up in hands of researchers, but among those bones, researchers found the so-called Broken Hill Man or Man of Rhodesia.

 

At first the skull was classified under the category of Homo heidelbergensis, researchers even doubted it was a hominid mainly due to its size. After careful studies, researchers placed the Broken Hill Man or Man of Rhodesia into the African Neanderthal lineage. But studies of the skull came out with two interesting things. First of all, the being lived several millions of years ago, and the subject suffered from a mental illness. More mysteriously, on both sides of the skull, two perfectly round holes were located, entrance wound and exit wound, both with the same diameter. This has been one of the main mysteries regarding the Man of Rhodesia as experts have no clue what could have caused such perfect holes in the cranium.

 

According to Professor Mair, it is possible that the wounds were caused by some sort of bullet. The possibility that the wounds were caused by a spear have been discarded as the wound would look very differently. so how is it possible that there is evidence of bullet wounds on a being that lived several millions of years ago?

 

This has been just one of those cases where science literally said: Well, we have no idea.

Brésil : les preuves d'une migration plus ancienne

Ce n'est pas la première fois que le sujet est abordé sur ce site mais il est évidemment nécessaire d'y apporter, dès que l'occasion s'offre ou est trouvée par l'auteur (moi-même), les pièces complémentaires qui étayent de plus en plus cette très probable réalité historique : l'Amérique du sud n'a pas été conquise en premier par les tribus asiatiques (comme celle, la plus nombreuse, nommée Clovis par la science moderne) et leur culture, via le détroit de Béring au grand Nord, mais bien par d'autres hommes, bien plus tôt, provenant probablement d'Afrique, mais aussi de l'Australie et des îles polynésiennes (mais on sait que premiers australiens provenaient probablement d'Afrique en suivant les côtes de l'Asie du sud-est, puis d'île en île). Après donc ces sites dont je parle dans ces articles (dont celui de la Roche Percée, devenu célèbre depuis), voici encore ces découvertes prouvées par des datations récentes, dans les sites de la Serra da Capivara au Brésil, qui remettent également en cause la théorie d'un peuplement précolombien du Nouveau-Monde par la seule culture asiatique de Clovis. En fait, il s'avère de plus en plus que des êtres humains pourraient bien s'être établis en Amérique du Sud il y a quatre fois plus longtemps que prévu. Au Brésil, dans le parc national Serra da Capivara, classé au patrimoine mondial de l’humanité, des peintures rupestres et divers autres preuves indiquent une présence humaine bien plus ancienne que prévu dans le Nouveau Monde.

Le New-York Times a d'ailleurs publié tout un article sur ce sujet précis.

Selon la théorie la plus acceptée (au point qu'elle est déjà apprise dans certaines écoles), l’Amérique aurait d’abord été peuplée il y a 13.000 ans environ par la culture de "Clovis", (nom d’un site archéologique du Nouveau-Mexique où elle a été découverte vers 1930). Elle est arrivée depuis l’Asie par le détroit de Béring alors émergé grâce à la glaciation encore en cours. Or, certains outils des sites brésiliens remonteraient à 22.000 ans et un crâne vieux de 11.000 ans, étudié par Walter Neves de l’université de São Paulo, présente davantage de ressemblances avec ceux des Aborigènes australiens que ceux des Asiatiques. Les archéologues et anthropologues spécialistes du Nouveau-Monde se déchirent violemment sur la question, certains comme Gary Haynes de l’université du Nevada n’hésite ainsi pas à déclarer que ces outils auraient pu être façonnés par des singes (!).

Par contre, il faut bien reconnaître que des analyses d’ADN mettent bien en valeur l’existence d’un lien entre les populations indigènes d’Amérique Centrale et d’un enfant de la culture de Clovis mort il y a 12.700 ans. Mais une étude de 2013 montre à l’inverse des liens génétiques entre les Amérindiens Botocudo et des Polynésiens...

La contestation d’un modèle unique basé sur la culture de Clovis prend donc de l’ampleur et s’appuie de plus en plus sur des éléments concrets. En novembre, un site uruguayen aurait montré un peuplement humain vieux de 30.000 ans, tandis que des charbons tirés d’un foyer découvert à Serra da Capivara ont été datés d’il y a environ 48.000 ans. "Si ces théories et datations sont vérifiées, ceux qui ont vécu à Serra da Capivara n’ont pas transmis leur patrimoine génétique aux populations d’aujourd’hui, explique au New-York Times Michael Waters de l’université A&M du Texas. Nous devons réfléchir longuement et profondément sur ces sites anciens et à comment ils s’insèrent dans l’histoire du peuplement des Amériques." - 2015 - Les datations ont été à nouveau confirmées (voir en bas).

Conclusions provisoires : Les deux théories ne sont pas incompatibles mais complémentaires : comme ailleurs dans le monde (voir les traces de plusieurs migrations et même demi-tours au niveau de l'Asie du Sud-Est, mais aussi dans la péninsule de l'Arabie Saoudite), il y a probablement eu plusieurs migrations de Homo Sapiens (comme il y a aussi probablement eu plusieurs migrations encore plus ancienne des hominidés qui ont précédés Homo Sapiens, comme Homo Erectus par exemple, voir Néandertal et Denisovien aussi, etc...). Et ces migrations ont pu suivre différents chemins selon les possibilités climatiques de chaque époque, mais aussi les connaissances et inventions des diverses tribus et groupes d'humains concernés par ces migrations... Absolument rien n'interdit aussi de penser que la navigation ait pu être inventée bien plus tôt qu'on ne le pense (même si certaines traces trouvées sur des îles méditerranéennes, mais aussi d'Indonésie par exemples nous insitent à y penser fortement) par quelques groupes ou tribus de voyageurs, mais que cette invention précoce (et pourtant logique car ni l'eau, ni les fleuves par exemple, n'ont jamais pu arrêter l'Homme très longtemps) ait pu être reperdue par la suite, entre deux migrations. Donc, non seulement le détroit de Béring est devenu plusieurs fois un passage "à pied sec" entre la Sibérie et l'Amérique du Nord sur plusieurs dizaines de milliers d'années et selon plusieurs glaciations/déglaciations, mais on sait bien aussi maintenant que l'homme moderne est parvenu en Australie il y a au minimum 60.000 ans... et qu'il n'y avait pas de la terre partout reliant l'Australie à l'Asie et donc que l'homme connaissait déjà au moins le principe de la navigation il y a au minimum 60.000 ans. Et c'est un minimum quand on voit la répartition géographique d'Homo Erectus par exemple, qui a parfaitement pu transmettre des connaissances et laisser des indices aux suivants avant de disparaître, car on a bien découvert finalement ses propres capacités intellectuelles plus évoluées qu'on ne le pensait et une certaine sophistication de son industrie de la pierre également...

Nous devons aussi saluer les scientifiques "de pointes" qui tentent déjà les premières recherches approfondies du site pour établir une chronologie de ces différentes peintures et en chercher d'autres. C'est en effet le site où nous avons trouvé les plus anciennes traces de l'homme sur l'ensemble des Amériques, une occupation continue donc entre -50.000 et - 20.000 ans (pas au Nord donc mais bien au Sud) et il faut donc s'atteler à en trouver d'autres ailleurs, et voir où ce premier habitant des Amériques a bien pu aller ensuite... :

(extrait) : " Dans la mesure où les plus anciennes occupations préhistoriques proviennent de la région du Piaui et que désormais l’authenticité des pièces et la validité des datations 14C ne sont plus mises en doute, la nécessité de poursuivre les recherches s’avère indispensable. En effet, le site de Pedra Furada qui a livré ces informations est un abri-sous-roche développé à la base de l’escarpement gréseux. Or ces conditions ne sont guère propices à la conservation des os, que ceux-ci soient humains ou animaux. Or, ce n’est pas le cas des sites développés dans les formations calcaires du pédiment et qui sont susceptibles de fournir beaucoup d’informations sur les paléoenvironnements du Pléistocène (lesquels sont presque totalement inconnus dans cette partie d’Amérique du sud).

C’est donc dans cet objectif que des recherches géomorphologiques, stratigraphiques et paléoenvironnementales sont menées. Elles permettront de comprendre l’organisation des formations sédimentaires et leurs relations latérales, de faire les liens entre les formations développées dans les abris-sous-roche de l’escarpement gréseux et celles que l’on retrouve dans les pièges karstiques du pédiment, et de localiser au mieux les secteurs susceptibles d’apporter le maximum d’informations.

Parallèlement, nous développerons une politique de sondages à la recherche de niveaux archéologiques du Pléistocène final. En effet, il ne fait aucun doute que les industries de Pedra Furada (datées entre 50 et 20 ka) soient bien d’origine anthropique. Mais ce site reste unique au Brésil et il pose bien évidemment le problème des origines du peuplement de l’Amérique du Sud. Pour tenter de répondre à cette question, il faut rechercher d’autres sites et élargir le champ des occupations comprenant à la fois des artéfacts et de la faune. C’est pour cela que nous avons décidé de travailler dans la zone calcaire davantage propice à une meilleure conservation, car les premiers travaux menés par Niede Guidon et Claude Guérin ont permis de mettre à jour une mégafaune jusque-là totalement inconnue dans cette région d’Amérique du Sud.

En élargissant les secteurs d’étude et en entamant de nouvelles recherches, nous espérons replacer les données régionales dans les débats sur l’origine des peuplements sud-américains et participer au courant novateur qui touche toute l’Amérique sur ce thème. "
