Over the years I’ve written a number of books on the Men in Black mystery. They are On the Trail of the Saucer Spies, The Real Men in Black, Men in Black, Women in Black, and The Black Diary. As a result of the fact that I write a lot on this strange subject, I occasionally get asked if government agencies ever take an interest in the MIB mystery. The answer is: yes, they do. Sometimes, it’s a deep interest, no less. For example, in the late 1950s the FBI wanted to see a copy of Gray Barker’s1956 UFO/MIB-themed book, They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers. It just happens to have been the very first book on the MIB subject ever published. The story goes as follows: On November 22, 1958, an inquiring citizen of Oklahoma City contacted J. Edgar Hoover about certain claims Barker had made, in his book, about the FBI and the MIB. The letter-writer said: “Recently many rumors have been printed in UFO periodicals, concerning reports that Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation have discouraged certain saucer investigators, particularly Mr. Albert Bender of Bridgeport, Connecticut, from further research into the secret of these elusive discs. Since you are the Director of the FBI, I would like to know whether or not these reports are factual or whether they are just rumors.” Hoover’s response to the letter-writer was swift and right to the point: “I am instructing a Special Agent of our Oklahoma City Office to contact you concerning the matter you mentioned.” A note from Hoover to the special agent in charge at Oklahoma City added: “An agent of your office should contact [the letter writer] immediately and secure copies of or information concerning the periodicals described.”
Nick Redfern’s MIB-themed books (U.S. and overseas editions)
In a memorandum to Hoover dated December 9, 1958, the Oklahoma office of the FBI reported that the periodical in question was titled the Saucerian Bulletin and was published by Gray Barker (it was previously just called the Saucerian). The FBI further noted for Hoover’s attention that the Saucerian Bulletin reported that the three men responsible for silencing Albert Bender were from “the FBI, Air Force Intelligence, and the Central Intelligence Agency.” Director Hoover was far from happy with this – and that’s putting things mild. An FBI report of December 12 reads as follows: “Bender formed the International Flying Saucer Bureau in Bridgeport, Connecticut, in 1952 to look into the flying saucer mystery. In 1953 Bender allegedly stated that he knew what the saucers are. Then ‘three men in black suits’ silenced Bender to the extent that even today Bender will not discuss the matter of his ‘hush-up’ with anyone.” A month later, on January 22, 1959, Hoover was still on the trail of Barker, Bender and the Men in Black and wrote in a memorandum to one of his special agents: “The Bureau desires to obtain a copy of the book written by Gray Barker entitled They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers. Reportedly, the book was published by University Books, Inc., Illinois. Contact this publishing house and if possible, obtain a copy of this book.”
Three weeks later, a copy of Barker’s book was in Hoover’s very own hands, as were all available copies of Bender’s Space Review. The FBI subsequently noted that its files contained “no information pertaining to the hush-up of Bender.” On the subject of Bender’s Space Review journal the FBI noted: “This magazine contains numerous articles and squibs concerning the sighting of flying saucers throughout the world. It does not appear to have any security significance.” Collectively, this all demonstrates that whoever Bender’s (and Barker’s) mysterious black-garbed visitors were, they were definitely not FBI agents, as Barker had suggested in They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers. The FBI were as puzzled as everyone else. In other words, the real Men in Black remain as mysterious and elusive as they always have been.
A new style of rock art has been discovered in Australia by archaeologists. The art depicted the harmonious relationship between humans and animals in ancient times. This style of rock art has been named Maliwawa Figures in reference to the area in which the drawings were located.
These drawings have been referred to as the missing link in Aboriginal art between the realistic drawings of animals from around 12,000 years ago and the stick figure paintings from approximately 4,000 years ago (also called X-Ray art). It is believed that these newly discovered Maliwawa Figures date back between 6,000 and 9,400 years ago.
For the past 12 years, Paul Taçon and his team discovered 570 examples of Maliwawa Figures at 87 different sites within an 80-mile location in Arnhem Land which is an area of vast wilderness in the northern part of Australia that has rugged coastlines, rivers, remote islands, and waterfalls. It is just slightly less than 100,000 square kilometers (just under 39,000 square miles) which means that this incredible wilderness is larger than Hungary, Portugal, and Austria.
Arnhem Land
In an interview with BBC, Taçon, who is the Australian Research Council laureate fellow and Griffith University chair in rock art research as well as an author of the study, described the uniqueness of their discovery, “We came across some curious paintings that are unlike anything we’d seen before.”
The most significant aspect of the art is that it depicts such a great relationship between humans and animals. In fact, of the hundreds of drawings uncovered so far, only one showed a hunting scene. According to their paper, “Animal-human relationships appear to be central to the artists’ message.” “The artists are clearly communicating aspects of their cultural beliefs, with an emphasis on important animals and interactions between humans and other humans or animals.”
Interestingly, the majority of the Maliwawa Figures measure at least two and a half feet in height with some of them being life-size. While they were drawn with red outlines, several of them had some detailed work done inside of the lines which could indicate that more than one artist helped to create the art. The paper read in part, “It is even possible only a couple of artists made most of the paintings.” “We know… that individual rock art artists can produce a remarkable number of paintings in their lifetime.”
One of the animals depicted in the rock art was a dugong.
Some of the animals depicted in the drawings include bilbies which have never been seen before in any known Indigenous rock art. What’s even more interesting is that bilbies weren’t believed to have lived in Arnhem Land. At one point they inhabited about 70% of Australia but not in that specific northern area, although since the rock art depicted the animal, it’s very possible that they did live in Arnhem Land at one point in time.
Another interesting figure was of a dugong which is the oldest-known drawing of the marine mammal. Several pictures of the rock art can be seen here.

A couple of days ago I wrote an article here at Mysterious Universe on the FBI’s file on the late ufologist Stanton Friedman, which the FBI has now uploaded to its website, The Vault. As I noted in that same article, the file contains almost nothing on Stan’s UFO-based writings and/or research. Indeed, there’s no evidence that the FBI took any kind of specifically significant interest in Stan. Most of the file is on other, fairly mundane issues. With that said, I thought today I would show you a few more examples of other people in Ufology who had files opened on them, but who were watched for reasons far beyond UFOs. The Freedom of Information Acts of the United States and Australia have both allowed for the declassification of significant files on people in Ufology, but where UFOs were specifically not the primary reason for the secret watching. For example, Contactee George Van Tassel had an FBI file opened on him that runs to – wait for it – no less than319 pages! That’s almost five times larger than Stan’s file. Van Tassel was primarily watched because of his politics – the FBI file makes that abundantly clear. There was also another reason, too. It was a very odd one. In April 1965, rumors flew around the FBI that Van Tassel had perfected a futuristic device which could cause blindness. It was a device connected to an unnamed “…ultra-rightist with tendency toward violence.” The story ultimately fizzled out, however, and the FBI moved onto other things. It was also in 1965 that the FBI finally closed its “George Van Tassel File,” referring to the man as “…an eccentric, self-ordained minister of a quasi-religious organization” and “…a mental case.” You can now read thewhole Van Tassel file at The Vault.
As for Van Tassel’s fellow-Contactee, George Adamski, it wasn’t Flying Saucers and aliens from Venus that bothered the FBI. It was Adamski’s rants against the U.S. government that got the FBI angry and concerned. In his early lectures Adamski would regularly champion the Russian way of life – and its military power. For example, check out these words from Adamski, which were spoken at one of his earliest presentations: “If you ask me [the aliens] probably have a Communist form of government and our American government wouldn’t release that kind of thing, naturally. That is a thing of the future – more advanced.” Adamski also said (while the FBI quietly listened and took note): “Russia will dominate the world and we will then have an era of peace for 1,000 years.” And there’s this from the FBI’s file on Adamski, too: “…the United States today is in the same state of deterioration as was the Roman Empire prior to its collapse and it will fall just as the Roman Empire did.” It’s clear from reading the whole file that the FBI thought Adamski’s claims of alien encounters were ridiculous and of no concern. What the FBI was worried about was this: Adamski, in the early to mid 1950s, had a huge following. His lectures brought in huge audiences. And all of his massive numbers of disciples were being told that Communism was a very good thing and that the U.S. was on its way out. And that is why the FBI opened a lengthy file on Adamski. Now, let’s take a trip to Australia.
Australia’s Freedom of Information Act has revealed that the vast majority of all the spying on the nation’s alien-seekers in the early days of the Cold War was undertaken by the ASIO: the Australian Security Intelligence Organization. The Queensland Flying Saucer Research Bureau was quietly and secretly watched during the 1950s. One extract from the ASIO file says: “The Queensland Flying Saucer Research Bureau is an organization with a present membership of 163 which meets regularly on the second Wednesday of each month in the Canberra Hotel and conducts a discussion group on the first Wednesday of each month in Elizabeth Street, Brisbane. The members are of great diversity in outlook, politics and religion.” The file continues: “There is some Communist influence [italics mine] in the Bureau due to the presence of the Secretary, Gordon Leslie Jamieson and members of the Souwer family of Slacks Creek, to whom he is related by marriage.” Of the Queensland Flying Saucer Research Bureau, ASIO recorded: “At present the Queensland Bureau does not appear to constitute any serious concern, mainly due to the control exercised by the President…but its activities will be constantly watched.” The ASIO concluded: “With Soviet contact and any increased Communist Party of Australia membership, the Bureau could become of far greater interest.” Vegetarians, swingers and nudists were also parts of the Australian UFO scene at the time – and, believe it or not, they too were watched for their “alternative” lifestyles. Once more, though, it was largely the communist issue that led intelligence agents to open files on Australia’s UFO groups.
An extract from the FBI’s file on “Men in Black” writer Gray Barker (FBI, 1959)
Gray Barker, the first person to write a book on the Men in Black Phenomenon (1956’s They Knew Too Much About Flying Saucers), had a file opened on him in the late 1950s. The reason: someone who had read his book sent a letter to J. Edgar Hoover, demanding to know if the U.S. government really did silence people who got too close to the truth about UFOs (the person’s name is deleted in the declassified file). Hoover quickly demanded that one of his special-agents get a copy of Barker’s book as soon as possible, which – as the files show – is exactly what happened. Barker was terrified when he found that the FBI was onto him and that they even had a copy of the Barker book. The files makes it clear, though, that Hoover wasn’t specifically interested in Barker’s Men in Black. Rather, Hoover was outraged by Barker’s claims that the U.S. government threatened ufologists. I could go on and on with more and more examples of how – just like Stan Friedman – files were opened on Ufologists, but when UFOs were specifically not the primary reason for the surveillance. Keep that in mind if, one day, you decide to apply to see if you have your very own FBI file. If such a file does exist, the chances are that the file will be far more about politics than black-eyed dwarfs from Zeta Reticuli.
How do you look at the universe differently? How can you broaden you views of the reality around us? Perhaps like me you will search for the secret messages that ancient alien cultures have left behind. These messages scream out We Existed! Just as Mount Rushmore National Memorial has the faces of four heroic US presidents carved into its rocky surface.
Some will claim its pareidolia...which is seeing faces which aren't there. I call that fake news. The CIA has been trying to spread this misinformation to confuse and control what the public thinks about. They have been successful at spreading it, but I cannot be controlled by them. So today I will show you a face I discovered on Planet Pluto. The actual face of aliens that once claimed that planet as their own and may still be living under the surface in underground cities.
Ask yourself, why do you believe you see what you do? Is it because of fear of others laughing at you? Fear that they will look down on you? Fear that it may be real? Whatever you see, always be true to yourself.
My goal on this site has always been...to raise the level of awareness of humanity of the reality around them.
UFO Fastwalker captured by drone over Milford, New Hampshire
“Fastwalker” is a term used by NORAD and branches of armed forces to describe unidentified aerial phenomena moving and/or changing directions at high speed far beyond what current aerospace technology is capable of.
These mysterious Fastwalkers have only been spotted in recent years and mainly captured by amateur drones from around the world.
Now, on October 4, 2020 such a Fastwalker has been caught by a drone while flying at approximately 200' in altitude, moving very fast and in a straight line from South to North direction over Milford, New Hampshire.
What are those objects flying through our atmosphere at such incredible speed that they are not visible to the naked eye.
"Fastwalkers" it remains an unsolved mystery!
The video starts with the UFO Fastwalker in real-time, each subsequent clip slowed more than the previous.
Cigar-shaped shapeshifting UFO over Florianópolis, Brazil 2020
his interesting UFO footage was filmed over Florianópolis, the capital of southern Brazil’s Santa Catarina state, on 25th August 2020.
Witness report:
A cigar shaped objected that seem to hover and slowly shapeshift. this was witnessed by multiple people and even made “news” on a local Instagram for the city of Florianopolis at the time (2018), called @floripamilgrau. This was recorded by a friend roughly at 27°37’00.3″S 48°31’41.7″W on a freeway alike road. He did not stayed there to see where the object ended up going.
The discovery of near-perfectly preserved billion-year-old Martian dunes is helping scientists to unravel the geologic and climatic history of the red planet.
Here is a region on Mars where sand dunes have been compacted over time into solid rock. This image, taken by the HiRISE high-resolution camera aboard NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, zooms in on the now-solid sand dunes in Melas Chasma, part of the extensive Valles Marineris canyon network on the red planet.
On October 5, 2020, a team of scientists announced the discovery of a group of one-billion-year-old Martian sand dunes in the planet’s Valles Marineris region. This rare find of paleo-dunes led scientists to a second big discovery. That is, climate, atmospheric pressure and landscape evolution on Mars have remained relatively consistent over the past billion years.
The research – led by planetary geologist Matthew Chojnacki at the Planetary Science Institute in Tucson, Arizona – was published in a paper in the peer-reviewedJournal of Geophysical Research Planets. A statement from Chojnacki and his colleagues explained that extensive mapping of sedimentary rock deposits within Melas Chasma – the widest segment of the Valles Marineris canyon system on Mars – provided the evidence needed to date the dune fields and to form an understanding, not only of what Mars was like 1 billion years ago, but of how the red planet’s climate has evolved over time. They said that the evidence included both lithification – the process by which loose sediments are compacted into solid rock – and the burial of those dunes by wind over time.
Through this work, they said, they learned that these unique paleo-dunes on Mars had been untouched by the same sorts of geologic forces – such as the shifting of great land plates (plate tectonics) and erosion by wind and water – that so altered Earth’s surface over the past billion years.
Matthew Chojnacki is a research scientist at the Planetary Science Institute, headquartered in Tucson, Arizona. On October 5, 2020, Chojnacki published a paper detailing the discovery of preserved billion-year-old sand dunes on Mars, which are helping scientists to unravel the mysteries of the red planet’s geologic and climatic history.
Chojnacki said in the statement that the condition of the Mars sand dunes was an indicator of well-preserved “old” age, in comparison to Earth dunes:
We identified and mapped extensive dune fields in the canyons of Valles Marineris which show clear evidence for lithification and burial. This level of preservation is rare for terrestrial [Earthly] sand dunes due to ongoing erosion and tectonics.
Chojnacki admitted that analyzing and dating dune fields on Mars is no easy task, as all of the scientific work has to be done from afar. He told EarthSky that one challenge scientists faced in dating the duneforms was what they didn’t have: physical samples. But, he noted, the absence of samples didn’t stop the team from achieving significant results:
Dating of planetary surfaces is extremely challenging without physical samples. Planetary scientists often use the accumulated craters on the surface compared with the anticipated flux of impactors to estimate a surface age (older surfaces accumulate more craters). These deposits did not show many craters, indicating they must be relatively young. We also looked at erosion rates or how quickly landforms are worn away by wind and other factors. Using these two techniques we estimate these dune deposits to not be older than a few billion years (or they would’ve accumulated more craters) but not younger than about one billion years (or erosion would have erased them from the surface).
A closeup of contemporary, active sand dunes on the surface of Mars, taken by the HiRISE camera aboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter. HiRISE is capable of zooming in to see objects on the Martian surface as small as a table, and in this image, clearly captures the morphology, or form, of active sand dunes, including wind patterns and wind direction that have pushed and pulled loose sand to create piles and patterns.
Image via NASA/ JPL-Caltech/ University of Arizona.
Chojnacki said that the aeolian processes impacting these particular dunes – that is, the ways in which sediments on this part of Mars’ landscape might have been eroded or moved by wind – revealed significant information about the evolution of wind and atmospheric pressure on Mars over time. He said:
We can see that modern sand dunes in the area are oriented in very similar directions to those in the rock record. This indicates the major wind directions that are responsible for the dunes’ shape have not changed substantially over time. We also see very similarly sized and spaced sand dunes from the two time periods. This may indicate the atmospheric pressure wasn’t significantly different.
In other words, the Mars of a billion years ago was pretty similar to the Mars of today, at least as far as wind patterns and atmospheric pressures are concerned.
The data from the study, collected using instruments aboard NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and Mars Odyssey Orbiter, are helping scientists to better understand the geologic history of Mars, and how it differs from that of Earth. Chojnacki said:
Sand dunes are migrating, driven by wind on Mars just as on Earth. The sand that makes up terrestrial dunes often can be converted into rock, but often factors like water or vegetation prevent the full shape of the dune to be preserved. We found groups of sand dunes on the surface of Valles Marineris, Mars, that were also turned into stone sometime in the past, but many of these retained their shape. The fact that sand dunes once migrated across the Martian surface and are now preserved in the rock record tells us something about the conditions that led to their preservation and how those differ from that of the Earth.
Similar to those that form on Earth, contemporary Martian sand dunes are not uncommon on the red planet, a desert landscape with many similarities to the deserts found on Earth, although much colder. Ancient duneforms, on the other hand, have until recently been a rare find on Mars, and are most often uncovered as eroded pits.
“Ghost dunes” in Noctis Labyrinthus on Mars. The crescent-shaped pits are the remains of active sand dunes from billions of years ago.
In April 2018, EarthSky reported the discovery of ghost dunes – pit-like depressions left behind when dunes erode away – by scientists at the NASA Astrobiology Institute. Uncovered in the Noctis Labyrinthus region, west of Valles Marineris, these ghost dunes proved that wind patterns on Mars changed over time, shaping and reshaping the landscape, similar to what wind patterns on Earth do in places like the Sahara Desert.
While there are marked similarities between Mars and Earth – including the wind-driven formation of sand dunes – the processes of surface erosion and landscape evolution differ greatly. That’s good news for scientists studying the geologic and climatic history of Mars. Chojnacki commented:
Water and tectonics that constantly reshape the surface of Earth are not currently a factor on Mars. Thus there’s an opportunity to learn from the geologic record of the red planet. The ancient dune fields found within Valles Marineris – with their complex variety of landform shapes, degree of preservation, and context – reveal the richness of regional geology. These results inform us that wind-driven sand transport, deposition, and lithification have occurred throughout much of Mars’ recent history and illustrate how landscape evolution there greatly differs compared with that of Earth.
Bottom Line: The discovery of near-perfectly preserved billion-year-old sand dunes on Mars has revealed big news to scientists about the geologic history of the red planet: its climate, atmospheric pressure and landscape evolution have remained fairly consistent all this time.
Bright fireball widely seen over northeastern Mexico
Posted by Deborah Byrd in ASTRONOMY ESSENTIALS | TODAY'S IMAGE
A fireball is an especially bright meteor from space. It can start out icy and burn up entirely in our atmosphere, or rocky … in which case a meteorite sometimes falls to Earth’s surface. This bright fireball blazed over northeastern Mexico on Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
Startled sky observers in northeastern Mexico looked up around 10:14 p.m. local time on Tuesday (October 6, 2020) and witnessed a bright fireball – an especially bright meteor – falling through Earth’s atmosphere. The meteor was also caught on some security cams, webcams and doorbell cams. In part because it was visible over the city of Monterrey (population 1.1 million) – in the Mexican state of Nuevo León– the meteor was widely seen. What is more, although EarthSky has not confirmed this, newspapers in Monterrey reported that the meteorite, or chunk of space rock left after the meteor’s fall, landed in a small town in the neighboring state of Tamaulipas. The video above is from a daily newspaper distributed in Monterrey, calledEl Norte.
The fireball was most visible above the states of Nuevo León, Coahuila and Tamaulipas, which border the U.S., around 10:14 p.m. local time, according to the Global Atmospheric Monitoring Agency, part of Mexico’s Institute of Geological and Atmospheric Research.
Bright fireballs such as this one are common if you consider Earth as a whole. They happen frequently. However, from any one spot on Earth’s surface, catching sight of a bright fireball like this one can be a once-in-a-lifetime event. Some of the larger rocks from space fall into the ocean each year, while smaller ones tend to burn up completely in Earth’s atmosphere.
Northern Hemisphere autumn is also a good time to watch for meteor showers. There are at least two meteor showers going on now: the Draconids and the Taurids. However, meteors that happen in annual showers are different creatures entirely from meteors that start out as space rocks and sometimes fall to the ground. Meteor showers stem from icy debris left behind in the orbits of comets. These particles of debris are approximately the size of rice grains, and it is so fragile that it vaporizes entirely in our atmosphere, never reaching the ground. Thus the meteor seen over Monterrey – and this week’s meteor showers – are not related.
The Mexican state of Nuevo Leon. The city of Monterrey is located approximately in the middle of this state, which shares a very short stretch of border with Texas.
Video still of the October 6, 2020, meteor over Monterrey, Mexico.
In a double-whammy from nature this week, Hurricane Delta also made landfall this week – early in the day on October 7 – along the Gulf Coast in northeastern Mexico.
Bottom line: A fireball – an especially bright meteor from space – blazed over northeastern Mexico on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Special thanks to EarthSky friend and veteran astrophotographer Raul Cortes Espinosa for the heads up!
“The Big Bang was not the beginning. There was something before the Big Bang and that something is what we will have in our future.”
“We are seeing them. These points are about eight times the diameter of the Moon and are slightly warmed up regions. There is pretty good evidence for at least six of these points.”
Would you argue with a Nobel Prize winner in physics? How about the late Stephen Hawking? Then good luck disputing this theory by Sir Roger Penrose, who won this year’s Nobel Prize for Physics for his work proving that black holes exist. In congratulatory interviews, Sir Penrose has discussed his belief in “Hawking points” – radiation leaked by evaporating black holes (a Stephen Hawking concept) which remains as an anomalous region in space after the black hole is gone.
Penrose then adds his own spin on Hawking points:
“The existence of such anomalous regions, resulting from point-like sources at the conformally stretched-out big bang, is a predicted consequence of conformal cyclic cosmology, these sources being the Hawking points of the theory, resulting from the Hawking radiation from supermassive black holes in a cosmic aeon prior to our own.”
Stephen Hawking
“In a cosmic aeon prior to our own.” In other words, in a universe prior to the one that began with the Big Bang. In his recent paper published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, Penrose links these Hawking points to his own theory of conformal cyclic cosmology – the that the universe dies and is reborn infinitely, with each being created by its own Big Bang. He suggests that not everything is destroyed in the death of a universe and believes that Hawking points are survivors of a previous one.
“I think it’s a bad thing to get a Nobel prize too early. I know scientists who got their prize too early and it spoiled their science. If you’re going to get a Nobel prize for science it’s good to get in when you’re good and old, before you’re absolutely clapped out, when there is still something to do, that’s my advice.”
Before you attempt to disprove Sir Roger Penrose’s theory on Hawking points, consider that he’s been working on it since the 1964 publication of his paper, “Gravitational Collapse and Space-Time Singularities”, and spent much time working with Stephen Hawking, including together winning the Eddington Medal of the Royal Astronomical Society in 1975 and the Wolf Foundation Prize for Physics in 1988. Despite all of those awards and one-half of the 2020 Nobel for Physics (the other half was awarded jointly to Reinhard Genzel and Andrea Ghez for their work on black holes), Sir Penrose’s theory, like that of the Big Bang in general, is controversial and not universally accepted – in this or any previous universe.
“Sadly, this award was too much delayed to allow Hawking to share the credit with Penrose.”
In an interview with The Telegraph, Professor Martin Rees, Astronomer Royal and Fellow of Trinity College, University of Cambridge, agrees with Penrose’s idea that it’s better to get the award late in life, but this one was sadly too late for Stephen Hawking to share with him.
“If they had been called upon by the president to launch [the nukes] they couldn’t have done it.”
Former U.S. Senator Harry Reid – known for instituting the secret Advanced Aerospace Weapon Systems Applications Program (AAWSAP) in the Defense Department to study UFOs and unexplained aerial phenomena (UAP) – appears in a newly-released documentary on UFO cover-ups by governments worldwide. In this case, Reid is referring to numerous accounts by military personnel working at nuclear missile sites of UFO sightings over them and some actual interference by the UFOs, including full shutdowns of the launch systems, resulting in the security crisis Reid describes in a trailer for the documentary.
“Including shocking never-before-seen testimony from high-ranking government and military officials, NASA Astronauts, and riveting footage, the timely film includes bombshell reveals about UAP incursions at nuclear weapon facilities and the monumental events behind the NY Times’ recent disclosure of UFO videos and The Pentagon’s classified UFO Program. Providing eye-opening evidence that mankind is not alone in the universe, Senator Harry Reid says “The Phenomenon makes the incredible credible.”
Harry Reid
Director James Fox is known for “UFOs: 50 Years of Denial?” and “I Know What I Saw,” and the newly-released “The Phenomenon” is expected to build on that base of UFO research and exposure – in particular, UFOs allegedly disrupting operations at nuclear weapons facilities. One such incident was reported by Captain David D Schindele, a Minuteman I intercontinental ballistic missile launch crew commander at the Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. In 1966, after UFOs were seen around the base, 10 ICBMs suddenly switched to ‘off-alert’ and could not be launched until they were reset. Schindele says he reported it up the chain of command, but he and the others who either saw the UFOs or the unexplained shutdown or both were told to never speak about to anyone for the rest of their lives. Schindele didn’t – until he mentioned the incident in an interview in 2010 and then in great detail in his tell-all book in 2017.
“Nobody has to agree why it’s there, but shouldn’t we at least be spending some money to study this phenomenon? Shouldn’t we study the stuff? The answer’s yes. And that’s all this was about. And why the federal government all these years has covered up, put brake pads on everything, stopped it. I think it’s very, very bad for our country.”
Harry Reid has long been a proponent – both publicly and privately – of UFO and alien disclosure by the U.S. government, and hinted there is real physical evidence being hidden after the recent videos of UFO encounters with military pilots were released and eventually confirmed. When asked what “stuff” or other confirmed UFO sightings he’s referring to, Reid says “most” of it “hasn’t seen the light of day.”
Still image from the footage of the “tic-tac” UFO
There have been encounters between military pilots and UFOs since there were military pilots, and many can eventually be explained by mistaken aircraft (there’s and ours), equipment anomalies, poor visibility and other causes. That doesn’t cover all of them, but what Reid is referring to are special cases concerning nuclear missiles and weapons – a main reason for the Cold War with the Soviet Union. And Captain Schindele’s encounter is not the only one – American Military News reveals that Robert Hastings, who Schindele first told of his encounter in 2010, claims he’s heard of at least 120 former U.S. service members who witnessed UFOs flying around nuclear weapons facilities and/or deactivating equipment. Whether this is aliens, a foreign country, homegrown saboteurs or something else, this is a security risk that should be dragged kicking and screaming into the daylight already.
Will Harry Reid do the dragging? It’s worth remembering that he backtracked on his comments about the government having already recovered alien materials.
Just a couple of days ago, the FBI placed their file on the late UFO researcher/author/nuclear physicistStanton Friedman onto their website, The Vault . The file runs to 61 pages. Don’t get too excited, however: there isn’t much at all in the material that will have ufologists foaming at the mouth. There is one interesting part of the file, though. It states that Friedman “…on February 27, 1984, contacted the Chief of Freedom of Information Privacy Acts (FOIPA) Section, Records Management Division of the FBI and requested information regarding weekly intelligence conferences with a proposed study of flying saucers. At the time Friedman made this request, he provided specific file numbers of FBI HQ files in which this information was contained. It is not known how Friedman obtained these file numbers [italics mine].” That’s really the only part of the file that is of any particular interest. The rest is all of a bureaucratic nature. I did wonder – before I dug into the file – if there might have been something related to the bogus Majestic 12 documents that got so many ufologists foaming at the mouth in the late 198os. After all, Friedman’s colleague Bill Moore (co-author with Charles Berlitz of the 1980 book, The Roswell Incident) had a file opened on himself by the FBI. And the FBI also opened a file on the MJ12 papers. Clearly, however, the FBI wasn’t interested in Friedman’s research into the MJ12 documents. So, does that mean the FBI had zero interest in those controversial, alleged 1947-period papers? No.
We do know something of deep interest though, thanks to the staff of the Bureau Co-Director within the Office of Information and Privacy. In correspondence (back in the 1990s), I was informed by office staff of the existence of an FBI “Main File” on Majestic 12,. It’s now in what is termed “closed status.” The title of the file is not something along the lines of “Potentially leaked document” or “Questionable document,” as one might imagine, given the strange story. Rather, the file title is nothing less than – wait for it – “Espionage.”Almost certainly, the reason why the FBI titled their MJ12 file “Espionage” was for the following reason: at one point in 1988, the FBI pursued the admittedly intriguing theory that the MJ12 documents might have been created by Russian disinformation experts and counterintelligence agents. Now, we come to the next stage. It helps to explain what was going on behind the scenes and expands on the above.
In 1999, Gerald K. Haines – in his position as the historian of the National Reconnaissance Office – wrote a now-declassified paper titled “CIA’s Role in the Study of UFOs, 1947-90.” Haines said that in the 1970s and 1980s there were “…concerns that the Soviets and the KGB were using U.S. citizens and UFO groups to obtain information on sensitive U.S. weapons development programs (such as the Stealth aircraft),the vulnerability of the U.S. air-defense network to penetration by foreign missiles mimicking UFOs, and evidence of Soviet advanced technology associated with UFO sightings[italics mine].”
Directly connected to the Soviet theory is the fact that, as U.S. Intelligence learned to its consternation during both the 1970s and the 1980s, an unclear number of unnamed UFO researchers – with important links to the U.S. defense industry – had been compromised by Soviet agents. It went like this: those saucer-seekers who just happened to work in the field of defense, and who had been caught tightly in a Kremlin web, would secretly provide the Russians with top secret data on the likes of the F-117 Nighthawk “stealth fighter” and the B-2 Spirit “stealth bomber” – which, at the time, were still highly classified and in test-stage out at the likes of none other than Area 51. In return, the KGB would provide those same American researchers with sensational documents on crashed UFOs and dead aliens. The plan that Moscow had in mind was for the Russians to get their eager hands on real, top secret, non-UFO-themed U.S. military/intelligence documents that could be used to advance Russian military aviation programs. But, those UFO investigators who worked in the defense world would receive nothing but faked garbage from their Soviet handlers, such as – you’ve got it – the Majestic 12 documents. That was the theory U.S. intelligence was concerned by. You can learn the the whole story in my 2019 book, Flying Saucers from the Kremlin.
There’s no doubt there is a fascinating back-story concerning the MJ12 documents (that still has yet to be fully resolved). As the FBI’s file on Stan Friedman shows, though, the Bureau seemingly had no interest in Stan and his MJ12 research, even at the height of the FBI’s investigations into those inflammatory papers in late 1988.
Ever since we have ventured off of our world and into space we have uncovered various mysteries and shed light on how the universe works. It has been a great time of scientific discovery, and we have made great strides in pushing out into the vast solar system that once was just flickers within our imagination. Yet for all that we have uncovered and all of the questions we have answered there have been perhaps even more questions and mysteries posed. Some of the stranger of these are the myriad stories of alien forces beyond our understanding lurking in the background of these space travels of ours, with all manner of unusual claims made by astronauts and amateur space watchers. One odd incident concerning this is claimed to have happened during a fateful space shuttle mission, during which, according to some, aliens crashed the party and ruined everything.
On February 25, 1996, Space Shuttle Columbia was engaged with mission STS-75, the 75th Space Transportation System mission flown by NASA’s four space shuttles. The 15-day mission had the primary objective of deploying the Tethered Satellite System Reflight (TSS-1R) experiment, which entailed using a joint NASA/Italian Tethered Satellite System in order to harness a new source of spacecraft power by utilizing a special electrodynamic tether system to collect power within the electrically charged ionosphere. The idea was that the cables would conduct electricity from the ionosphere and convert it into power, thus paving the way to a cheap energy source for satellites, space stations, and spacecraft. In order to achieve this, the plan was to deploy the satellite and 20.7 kilometers (12.9 mi) of tether and then measure how much current could be gathered, as well as monitor the physics of the tether’s movement and various other factors. It was meant to be a fairly groundbreaking mission, but something would go wrong.
Space Shuttle Columbia
Over a period of 5 hours the astronauts carefully unreeled the satellite on its thin tether to a length of 19 kilometers, after which they had only one kilometer to go before they planned to stop it and begin their experiments. However, as the shocked 7-man crew of the Columbia looked on, the tether began to ripple, before finally snapping to send a long portion of it, as well as the satellite attached to it, drifting off into space. Although a lot of data had still been gained from the mission, the loss of the satellite and tether was a crushing blow and launched an extensive investigation into the incident. According to NASA, the reason would be found to have been a weakening of the cable due to pinholes in the insulated cover of the tether, which had allowed air trapped beneath to seep out into space, and these air bubbles were then transformed into plasma from the roughly 3,500 to 5,000 volts of power coursing along it. This in turn caused a local explosive electrical discharge from the copper wire in the tether to a nearby electrical ground, causing the cable to snap. However, this official view would be challenged.
During the unfortunate incident, astronauts had filmed the whole thing, and as soon as the video became available to the public people started noticing something very odd about it. The video footage shows what appear to be a series of bright spots or lights whizzing about the area, in particular seeming to swarm around and hover about the tether. Those who saw this quickly came to the conclusion that these were UFOs, and stated that obviously these UFOs had been attracted to the tether for some reason and had caused it to break. The objects became even more pronounced when enhanced videos began circulating not long after the original footage was released. Still other more far out theories emerged as well, such as the claim that these were not UFOs, but rather some sort of lifeform living in space, a sort of “space amoeba” of sorts. These creatures are theorized as living in the void and feeding on space debris or electrical energy, and it is just about as weird as it sounds. The site Secrets of the Universe explained of these hypothetical organisms and their relation to the tether incident:
They exist in a spectrum not visible to the naked eye under normal conditions. They appear to be totally harmless, feeding off electrical or other energy. If you look closely at the footage you will observe them increasing in brightness near electrical storms. With this in mind it is not in the least surprising to find them swarming around the electrodynamics tether which is NASA’s attempt to harness the very energy that they feed on.
One of the mystery objects filmed near the broken tether
It is all very entertaining, but as soon as these conspiracy theories began making the rounds NASA and the astronauts who had actually been on the mission were quick to dismiss the possibility that these were aliens of any kind. It was all explained by astronaut Franklin Chang-Diaz as “a little bit of debris that kind of flies with us,” meaning ice crystals and other miscellaneous tiny objects that sort of fly along with the shuttle in the weightlessness of space. In addition to this, a water dump from the shuttle, which is a completely normal and routine procedure, had been carried out not long before the experiment began, meaning there was more of this debris surrounding the shuttle than usual. It is perfectly harmless and the particles are miniscule, but when illuminated by the sun, compounded by the effect of the camera’s image intensifier circuit, which is known to distort bright objects, the objects seem much larger, more robust, and brighter in the video footage than they really are. The telephoto lens of the camera is also used with a circular mirror that has a hole in the middle, which can leave an artifact on the images. One of the astronauts, Tom Jones, made a lengthy statement about the incident trying to clear up the confusion and also dispel the idea that NASA was hiding evidence of aliens in any way. He told Smithsonian Air & Space Magazine:
Astronauts have not seen any evidence of alien life. Reports of unidentified flying objects in images returned from the shuttle or space station have turned out to be ice crystals, drifting orbital debris, lightning flashes, or meteors streaking through the dark atmosphere below. So far, our search for extraterrestrial life — and other civilizations in space — has turned up no proof of alien civilizations. I was on the shuttle Columbia — STS-80 — and even made a blog entry, ‘Did UFOs Visit The Shuttle Columbia?’ Because when we came back from that mission in 1996, NASA got several queries from people who were watching the video — NASA TV back then — and said, ‘Hey, we saw spaceships on the shuttle video. What’s NASA got to say about that?’ I looked at the video and I said, ‘Oh, I know what this is — this is just ice crystals floating along beside the ship for the first couple of days of the flight.’ What looked to some people like a spaceship streaking across the star field, was — to us, looking out the windows — a complete non-event. And yet, it was very significant to people who were watching. Certainly, nothing in the way of spaceships.
Now, I’m aware that there have been a couple of astronauts in the past who’ve spoken out and said they know from other people that there’s evidence of UFOs and spaceships that have visited the Earth and that the government might be withholding it. They all seem to be secondhand, or they seem to be sightings of things that they’ve seen in orbit that, perhaps, they couldn’t explain at the time. And that’s where the story seems to peter out.
Also curious is that NASA made no mention at all of any such objects surrounding the shuttle or the tether in any of their mission reports, and it seems as though perhaps this really was a mundane occurrence. Yet conspiracy theories are not quick to die, and there are certainly those who do not buy the official statements. For them this is all a cover-up and an effort for NASA to spread disinformation and bury the truth. Such theories point to the constant perceived opaqueness of NASA and the numerous times the agency has cut feed to cameras at the slightest whiff of something odd. Is NASA up to something? Are there really strange forces at work up there in space? What really happened during the STS-75 incident? Was this just misidentified ice crystals or something else? Amazingly enough it is still being debated, and if anything it shows that there are plenty of mysteries that are being generated by our being in space, whether real or imagined.
I found some interesting things in a Mars gigapan photo today. I found a pyramid, bowed head statue, face, sphinx. The location itself is unique because it on top of a hill and there is no mess of broken pieces anywhere. It has been cleaned, because it is a sacred site. That is why the statue has a bowed head. Its sacred. There is also a dark face looking up to the sky which almost looks human. An the sphinx-like statue near the pyramid. All of this combined means ancient holy site.
Silver UFO Seen Over Mount Umunhum, California Has Four US Military Fighter Jets Shooting Near it, Oct 4, 2020, Video, UFO Sighting News.
Date of sighting: Oct 4, 2020
Location of sighting:Mount Umunhum, California, USA
Source: Tiktok
This UFO video was uploaded by a person on Tiktok going by user name @bijankhaz this week. The video has gotten over 2.2 million views and has people questioning if its real or not. The video looks real and you can hear others asking where it went because its hard to see. The camera guy zooms in on it nicely and even catches sight of a fleet of US military fighter jets heading in its direction. The video is cut short so we don't get to see what happens, but clearly the US military was interested in it and saw it on radar. 100% proof UFOs are over California this week. The UFO is seen with a hole in it...but its not a hole, its flying on its side and that is its hump or cockpit of the disk.
Hey everyone, I found two UFO near earths moon in a historical NASA archive. The photo does not have the mission or date its from, which is highly unusual since 99% of the photos list at least the mission its from. The two UFOs appear to actually have been one, but they separated to cover more area. The top of the UFO is a flower petal disk seen from the side with about five petals. The bottom of the UFO which separated is long and has a smaller thick disk on its head with two dark windows. I see why NASA would keep this one hidden in the history archive out of the reach of most people. It shows actually alien craft. The crafts hull is uneven which is a sign that they were made biomechanically...meaning they were a merger of technology and biology...they were grown. Its faster and easier and aliens are often too lazy to actually make their own ships.
Trailer: The Phenomenon 2020 - The new benchmark for UFO disclosure
Director James Fox’s explosive documentary is being hailed as the most credible and revealing film ever made about the long-standing global cover-up and mystery involving unidentified aerial phenomenon.

Including shocking never-before-seen testimony from high-ranking government and military officials, NASA Astronauts, and riveting footage, the timely film includes bombshell reveals about UAP incursions at nuclear weapon facilities and the monumental events behind the NY Times’ recent disclosure of UFO videos and The Pentagon’s classified UFO Program.
Providing eye-opening evidence that mankind is not alone in the universe, Senator Harry Reid says “The Phenomenon makes the incredible credible.”
Former Senior CIA Officer Jim Semivan, calls it “The most important documentary of the year and the most accurate examination of the world's greatest mystery.”
Dr. Jacques Vallee says “70 years of secrecy has led to this. The most credible documentary ever made about UFOs.”
Lue Elizondo, Former Director of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), says The Phenomenon sets a new benchmark for disclosure and is the most accurate and informative documentary ever made about UAPs.
Did The Soviet Union Discover Aliens In The Deepest Lake In The World?
Under the waters of Lake Baikal in 1982, 7 Russian divers are exploring the world deepest freshwater lake on a research mission, but 50 metres underwater, strange humanoid creatures appear and in an attempt to capture one of them, all the divers are pushed up to the top by an unknown force. Who were these creatures and what can we learn from this encounter?
'It’s not a question of belief': the film examining government UFO records
The Phenomenon studies the history of UFO claims from the 1940s to this summer’s revelation of a Department of Defense investigation into military sightings
The question of unexplained phenomena and Unidentified Flying Objects have long fascinated the public, as the subject of feverish American news coverage in the years post-second world war and too many films and investigative documentaries to count, all landing on speculation without certainty. But the frenetic, oxygen-sucking rollercoaster of headlines in the Trump administration has overshadowed a cascade of strange evidence released by the government in recent years: in 2017, the New York Times revealed the existence of a shadowy, partly classified government program, the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), which investigated UFO reports from deep within the Pentagon.
This is the grounding fact presented in The Phenomenon, a documentary from longtime UFO enthusiast James Fox which updates longstanding extraterrestrial theories with recent government regulations. Though the government said at the time that the program, which started in 2007 largely at the request of then Senate majority leader Harry Reid, was shuttered due to lack of funding in 2012, the New York Times later confirmed its continued existence as a renamed Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon Task Force, within the Office of Naval Intelligence.
The barrage of bureaucratic titles couched a startling revelation: for more than a decade, the Pentagon had conducted classified briefings for congressional committees, aerospace company executives and other government officials, based on sightings, video footage, and radar logs by military pilots of “unexplained aerial phenomena” which seemed to transcend existing flight technology – no visible engine at 30,000ft, hypersonic speed.
Numerous experts and astrophysicists have cautioned that just because an object is unidentified or unexplained doesn’t mean it’s extraterrestrial; some of the unexplained incidents could be attributed to bugs in display systems’ code, atmospheric effects, and neurological overload during high-speed flight as much if not more than extraterrestrial contact. But The Phenomenon, leaps from the confirmed existence of the government program to an earnest, at times breathless consideration of the existence of extraterrestrial encounters. “There’s clearly a preponderance of evidence from around the world that there are structured craft, physical craft, that are displaying flight characteristics that are so far beyond anything conventional,” Fox, who does not shy away from his belief in the otherworldly, told the Guardian of the military reports. “I’m absolutely convinced that these objects are real.”
The Phenomenon, narrated by actor and voiceover staple Peter Coyote (a veteran of numerous Ken Burns’ projects) speaks to such high-ranking government officials as Reid, who left the Senate in 2017, and former New Mexico governor Bill Richardson, as well as longtime UFO researcher Jacques Vallee, who inspired the character of Lacombe in Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind. The film traces the relatively recent history of UFO fixation – the US military repeatedly investigated UFOs beginning in the late 1940s, as sightings of unidentified discs other incidents lit up mainstream news reports (Oregon farmers who photographed a supposed UFO in 1950 were featured in a Life magazine, for example). From 1947 until 1969, the air force investigated more than 12,000 UFO claims; though a 1952 study code-named Project Blue Book concluded that most of the sightings could be explained by stars, clouds, conventional aircraft or spy planes, 701 sightings remained unexplained.
The Phenomenon plumbs that unexplained terrain with years of first-person accounts, from an old interview with the late astronaut Gordon Cooper, who recalled his own brush with an unexplained object while flying fighters in Germany in 1951, to audio footage of former president Gerald Ford who, as a congressman from Michigan, desired greater transparency on UFO research. Fox combines vintage news interviews with children who reported sightings – in Zimbabwe in 1994, at an Australian school in the 1960s – with recent interviews of the subjects, who revisit their memories with a combination of bafflement, emotional clarity and confusion.
The renderings of these accounts can sometimes overshadow the trove of records unveiled in recent years by the Pentagon, including video footage released this year of military pilots wondering aloud, “Wow, what is that?” to “unidentified aerial phenomena” spotted by a plane’s camera in early 2015. (The Times spoke to five navy pilots about incidents with said phenomena off the coast of Virginia from 2014-2015, including a near-crash that triggered the filing of a safety incident report, though none of the pilots speculated on the objects’ provenance).
If some first-person accounts are to be believed – the Navy reports witnessing craft which required no wings for lift, exhibited flight beyond combustion technology, and the capability of hyper-change in speed with hairpin turns – the observations “make it very challenging to come up with any kind of prosaic explanation”, Christopher Mellon, the former deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence under the Clinton and Bush administrations, told the Guardian.
Photograph: YouTube
Most UFO sightings “ultimately do have prosaic explanations”, Mellon said. “And there are other cases in which we may yet develop explanations having to do with the Russians or Chinese or atmospheric phenomenon or something. But after all that winnowing, there is still a significant number of cases that are very difficult to explain.”
The government program and its known records have rendered the question “do you believe in UFOs?” obsolete, according to the Times’ investigators – “their existence, or nonexistence, is not a matter of belief”. UFO means, simply, that we don’t know what these incidents are – not necessarily alien, but a matter of government record, as fact. “It’s not a question of belief, it’s not a question of whether this is happening,” said Mellon. “Our government and our defense department have publicly acknowledged that this is real and that this is happening.” The observations released by the military seem to suggest advanced military technology, enough to have concerned the Department of Defense – which announced a new taskforce into the matter this August – as well as the Office of Naval Intelligence and members of two Senate committees. “The challenge now is to figure out where they’re coming from, how they’re made, and what the intent is,” said Mellon.
Both Fox and Mellon acknowledged the difficulty in entertaining the idea of confirmed UFOs, and some of The Phenomenon’s more fantastical claims, without skepticism. Indeed, the idea suggested by the film that governments from the US to Russia to Australia have systematically suppressed coverage, research or speculation of UFO sightings seems dubious, if not outright dangerous, given the very real threats rampant conspiracy theories, which often invoke the military and/or space, pose to American democracy in the Trump era. Mellon agreed that “there is a problem with disinformation in this area, and unfortunately there’s a lot of junk and hoaxes as well as just information from people seeing something they’re not understanding, that has an explanation based in science or a classified program”.
But he noted that “all of the serious people involved in this issue want to take a hard-nosed scientific approach to this topic – we need more and better data” based on “trustworthy” and “authentic” reports released by government departments — “it’s information that the government is surfacing from our own military”.
The Phenomenon, like the many extraterrestrial documentaries before it, ultimately can’t stake a claim on certainty; instead, it concludes with a call for consideration. “I’m not screaming from the hilltops ‘ET is here!’” said Fox. “I’m just saying, ‘Hey, look, there’s a serious situation going on, and this demands not only government transparency, but further investigation.’”
The Phenomenon is available to rent digitally in the US now with a UK date yet to be announced
Rh-Negative Blood: An Exotic Bloodline or Random Mutation?
Most people who have the Rh blood type are Rh-positive. There are also instances, however, where people are Rh-Negative. Health problems may occur for the unborn child of a mother with Rh-Negative blood when the baby is Rh-Positive. This has led some to suggest that Rh-Negative blood must be of a non-human origin. Theories range from supernatural ones such as being of divine descent or membership in a divinely chosen people-group, to more scientific or pseudoscientific explanations such as interbreeding with extraterrestrials. The majority of scientists who have studied the blood type have concluded that it is most likely just a random mutation. This explanation seems to be the one most consistent with available evidence and the one that is most able to withstand Occam’s Razor.
What is unusual about Rh-Negative blood is that the gene for it is surprisingly common despite being potentially harmful. When a woman who is Rh-Negative is pregnant with a child that is Rh-Positive, the mother’s immune system creates protective anti-bodies to the Rh-Positive blood, and her blood essentially becomes toxic to the child. To some people, this looks like the mother’s body is rejecting the baby - which has led them to suggest that perhaps the reason for the rejection is incompatibility based on the mother and child being of different species. Others suggest that lineages with the gene for Rh-Negative blood are merely special in some way and were not meant to be mixed with lineages which are predominantly Rh-Positive.
One population which contains an unusually high frequency of the gene for the Rh-Negative blood type are the Basques from northeastern Spain. The Basques have the highest incidence of the gene out of any population in the world. The Basques also speak a non-Indo-European language and have genetic markers that pre-date the rise of agriculture. This has led to speculation that Rh-Negative blood is related to Cro-Magnon ancestry going back to the upper Paleolithic period in Europe.
Among the more exotic theories is the idea that the Rh-Negative gene represents a separate branch of humanity that intermarried with the branch that came out of Africa. One blogger has gone as far as to say that those with Rh-Negative blood are descendants of the Hyperborean race, which they believe to be the original human race. Followers of this idea believe that this race was blonde-haired and blue-eyed and included most major spiritual teachers in history, including Jesus.
Some people who are not satisfied with the idea that those with RH- blood are another form of humanity have suggested that the trait originates from extraterrestrials either interbreeding with humans or creating humans through genetic engineering.
The Role of Genetics in Rh-Negative Blood
This unusual trait can, however, also be explained in terms of relatively mundane human genetics and natural selection. One possibility is that the gene for Rh-Negative blood has some sort of selective advantage that outweighed the negative consequences of having Rh-Negative blood.
A well-known example of this phenomenon would be the case of sickle cell anemia and malaria. A large percentage of the population in west Africa where malaria is common consists of carriers of the gene for sickle-cell anemia, although they don’t have the disease themselves. The reason is that just carrying the gene for sickle cell anemia gives the person carrying it immunity to Malaria. Although sickle-cell anemia is harmful, even deadly, carrying the gene gives a selective advantage and therefore it is much more common than would be expected.
Sickle-cell disease is inherited in the autosomal recessive pattern.
Scientists studying the effects of Rh-Negative blood have found that individuals carrying the gene for Rh-Negative blood are more resistant to certain parasites such as toxoplasma, which can threaten unborn children. It has also been found that there are more carriers of the gene in areas where toxoplasma is more common. This suggests that carriers of the gene for Rh-Negative blood might be more common than expected because there is a positive selective advantage, greater resistance to parasites, that outweighs the negative, possibly having a pregnancy where the mother’s blood endangers the unborn child.
Dividing Toxoplasma gondii, an obligate intracellular human parasite.
As a result, it could be that some populations contain a higher occurrence rate of the gene not because of a unique lineage but because they are adapted to a region with a high prevalence of certain parasites such as toxoplasma. This would explain why the gene occurs in high frequency in populations that are not really connected other than the fact that they are Homo Sapiens, such as Basques and certain Jewish populations.
The Basques have an ancestry that, with other European groups, goes back to the European Upper Paleolithic. Yet the Jews ultimately descend from relatively recent Middle Eastern populations. This would make sense if the reason for the prevalence of the gene was because both the ancestral Basque and Jewish populations originated in an environment with similar selective factors rather than being of a common lineage.
Although it could still be that there is a common, unique ancestral lineage connecting populations with high prevalence of Rh-Negative blood, the fact that the populations where the gene occurs in high prevalence appear otherwise unrelated to each other makes it less likely and in need of more evidence.
Could Rh-Negative Blood Come from Extraterrestrials?
The extraterrestrial explanation is even more problematic because the Rh-Negative gene is clearly a variation of an otherwise completely human gene. Unless it was specifically engineered by extraterrestrials from a pre-existing human gene, it is unlikely that it comes from anything other than Homo Sapiens .
The other problem with the Rh-Negative blood type being the result of hybridization with extraterrestrials is that extraterrestrials are likely to have a completely different biology and genome than human beings. Their genome might not even be based on DNA - but something else such as RNA, or some exotic form of genetic storage that never evolved on Earth. This would make any viable hybrids very improbable if not impossible. As the astronomer Carl Sagan would have put it, it would be easier to make a human-tulip hybrid, than a human-extraterrestrial hybrid.
An artist’s representation of an extraterrestrial.
The unlikelihood and uncertainty of the other options make the explanation that the Rh-Negative blood type is just a mutation that became common in some populations due to a selective advantage the most likely option. It is also the one that most easily survives the application of Occam’s Razor. If this blood type was because of another human species, let alone extraterrestrials, many more unnecessary assumptions that are difficult to verify have to be made. As a result, the evidence currently points toward little more than an ordinary mutation as the cause of the Rh-Negative blood phenotype.
An interesting question was put to me just a few days ago. It revolved around my book published earlier this year: The Rendlesham Forest UFO Conspiracy. It’s a book that suggests the famous events of December 1980 in Suffolk, England woods had nothing to do with aliens, but everything to do with secret experiments. The question went approximately like this: How do you think the UFO community might respond if it’s proven there was no extraterrestrial presence in the forest? Well, that’s a good question. Right now, we don’t have hard evidence that the whole thing was a test of advanced technologies to see how military personnel might respond in extremely strange and alternative situations. What we do have, however, as I note in my book, is a large amount of data and information that points in that very direction. To a degree, I can answer the question by looking at the responses that surfaced when the book was published. It was clear to me that more than a few people who had spent a lot of time onthe Rendlesham case simply didn’t want to even look at the information I had found. “Nick’s a wanker,” was one of the more concise responses LOL! Another, which was put forward by four people (it’s entirely possible there may have been others, too) was that I had sold my soul and I was now secretly working for “the government.” You know: the dreaded “Them” (also know as “they” in conversation). Others were just confused by the fact that I had made a full-turn on the incidents of December 1980. One even said he was “hurt” by my change of mind. Jeez. That was one of the craziest things said.
All of the above is pretty much what I expected. There is, however, a serious, important issue here. In fact, there are several issues. They all revolve around the emotional response to the book. One: several people who took me to task on Facebook, openly admitted they had never read the book. That also happened with my 2017 anti-UFO book on Roswell. It’s hardly the rational approach to take, though. Two: when my Rendlesham book was published there was a real sense of denial on the part of more than a few. That’s unfortunate, because focusing on one theory just because it’s cool and exciting (the E.T. angle, of course) , is very stupid. Three: If you saw some of the debates on Facebook, you’ll know there was an interesting revelation. Almost immediately after the book was published, a few researchers of Rendlesham quietly emailed back and forth on one specific subject: would my book affect potential, upcoming events (conferences, lectures, etc.) when the 40th anniversary comes along at the end of this year? Of course, the idea that a book could have an adverse affect on conference tickets at a gig – or several gigs – is ridiculous. But, that’s how some paranoid types in the community responded. Now, we come to the most important angle of all this.
If the incidents in Rendlesham Forest in December 1980 really were the manipulative work of government and military agencies, then we should strive to find the answers and expose the affairs for what they were – which is what I’m doing and have been doing for a long time. Like it or not, there is good evidence that Rendlesham – as a highly-classified experiment – was not alone. Indeed, it’s clear that some of the prime UFO events of the last sixty or so years were staged. I’m talking about the Antonio Villas Boas event of 1957, the 1961 Betty and Barney Hill case, the Hickson-Parker incident of 1973, and the Bennewitz story of the late 1970s/early 1980s. Ufology has been duped – and on a massive scale.
Finally: why haven’t we, the UFO community, solved these cases and exposed them for what they really were (and still are)? After all, it’s not as if there’s not enough people in the UFO field to find the truth. There’s plenty of us. I’ll tell you why: secret experiments are not as exciting – or as enticing – as aliens. So, they are largely ignored. And the manipulators behind all of this know that only too well. So, they quietly and successfully continue with their mind-meddling behind a UFO camouflage. It really is that simple.
The thought of one black hole is disconcerting – even with the potential that it could be a portal to time travel. The thought of a supermassive black hole sucking in stars takes it up a notch – even with the idea that most are located at the center of a galaxy, as is the case with our own Milky Way. A new discovery by astronomers using the ESO’s Very Large Telescope (VLT) may require a better superlative than “supermassive” – they’ve located a supermassive black hole in the act of consuming SIX galaxies at once. No, “super-duper-massive” isn’t even a good try. Let’s see if the tale of the finding inspires one.
“The cosmic web filaments are like spider’s web threads. The galaxies stand and grow where the filaments cross, and streams of gas — available to fuel both the galaxies and the central supermassive black hole — can flow along the filaments.”
Astronomer Marco Mignoli of the National Institute for Astrophysics (INAF) in Bologna and lead author of the research published in Astronomy & Astrophysics, makes this event sound like a common garden discovery of spiders, webs and perhaps a huge mantis caught in the middle. Now, imagine the mantis eating the web like spaghetti and sucking the spiders into its gaping jaws along with it. That’s a better picture of this black hole which existed in the first billion years of the universe, had a mass of a billion suns and controlled this web of six galaxies that was the size of 300 Milky Ways. Super-ginormous?
“Our work has placed an important piece in the largely incomplete puzzle that is the formation and growth of such extreme, yet relatively abundant, objects so quickly after the Big Bang.”
In the study’s press release, co-author Roberto Gilli, also an astronomer at INAF, explains that the team was looking for an answer to how black holes formed after the Big Bang – when stars were too young to be huge and too young to die and collapse into black holes. If black holes were created by the Big Bang, how did they find enough to eat to feed their teenage growth spurts?
“The new-found structure offers a likely explanation: the “spider’s web” and the galaxies within it contain enough gas to provide the fuel that the central black hole needs to quickly become a supermassive giant.”
The key to this discovery is the Very Large Telescope, which enables astronomers to see dim galaxies from the early days of the universe. Co-author Colin Norman of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore says they were always there – astronomers just needed the power to see them.
We still need a name for what the astronomers now call SDSS J1030+0524 – a luminous quasi-stellar object. Super-quasi-normous black hole? Incredibly hulky black hole? Bottomless pit of a black hole? It’s no wonder astronomers stick to password-like designations.

Erich von Daniken: Ezekiel’s Incredible Encounter… A Highly Detailed Account of Advanced Technology
Of the many accounts in the Bible of strange happenings and otherworldly occurrences, the story of Ezekiel is one of the more fascinating, especially when looked at through the lens of modern technology. When biblical texts are interpreted through this perspective in general, an interesting picture emerges of the possibility that our ancient ancestors were actually visited by an advanced race, rather than gods.
Erich von Daniken reveals a detailed account of Ezekiel’s encounter.
Hey, I was looking over a gigapan Mars photo when I realized I was looking directly at a Mars statue. The statue is similar to that of an Egyptian sphinx except this one is higher and this one has a halo around its head an a long robe. Also below the front of the robe, is a huge doorway in the shape of a cross. You can even see the face, hair, shoulders of the person. Its obvious that this structure was a sacred location for the people who made it.
The structure is about 1.5 meters tall, so the beings who would enter it would be about 10cm tall. Not just 100% proof of aliens, but proof that aliens rely upon religion.
Disc shaped alien spacecraft flying through the northern aurora
Awhile ago a cosmonaut aboard the International Space Station (ISS) captured footage of the auroras over the Antarctic when 5 UFOs appeared moving through space.
Now, another recent recording from the ISS live feed shows a disc shaped UFO flying through the northern aurora.
The short footage captured by Pedro Ramirez and edited by El Peleon Enmascarado starts at the moment the UFO comes into view.
Then, the camera zooms in following the UFO. By reducing the playback speed of the footage, the UFO becomes clearly visible.
More and more astronauts are coming forward saying that they have seen UFOs in space. Watching this alien spacecraft then we know that they exist and that they are here, besides, this footage also confirms the statements of astronauts when they are talking about UFOs in space.
Formerly Secret Government Files Show Dozens of UFO Reports
A few weeks after a strange circle of lights was spotted above Tenbury, it has been revealed in previously confidential Government files that dozens of UFO sightings have been reported in the county.
No explanation has been offered yet for the recent UFO sighting in Tenbury.
The files reveal 21 reports of UFOs made by witnesses between 1997 and 2009 across Worcestershire.
Several reports feature teddy bear-shaped objects, red and yellow stars, and moon-sized balloons.
In August 1997, a UFO about the size of an aircraft was seen travelling across the sky at tremendous speed.
In 1998, too bright, oval-shaped objects were observed slowly moving across Evesham’s sky and round, white, erratic objects in Kidderminster.
In Bewdley, Hereford, and Worcester, witnesses also reported seeing a black teddy bear-shaped object moving quickly through the sky. Very bright round UFOs and shooting stars initially moving slowly then rapidly were also reported in the early morning in Worcester in 1999 and 2001.
On New Year’s Eve in 2001, a star-shaped object was reported pulsating and then vanishing in Malvern.
A yellow and red big, round, bright star moved upwards in April 2002 in Worcester.
A helium-type balloon about a moon’s size with blue and red lights was observed moving across the sky in Worcester in 2003. In the same year, seven to eight spherical UFOs moved in a straight line above Droitwich.
In 2009, noiseless lights flying fast in a V-shape was spotted splitting up and disappearing, leaving no visible trail in Malvern.
The final UFO sighting report in the file involves an orange craft hovering above Evesham in October 2009.
The Ministry of Defence said that it stopped taking UFO sighting reports after 2009.
SOMETHING PEELED AN ENTIRE LAYER OFF THIS STAR LIKE A GIANT ORANGE

Bare Bones
Before the star Cassiopeia A exploded in a supernova, something had already come by and stripped it bare.
The clouds of gas expelled by the supernova, Live Science reports, are missing hydrogen, which usually forms the outer layer of a star while heavier elements stay toward the core. Now, scientists think they know why: Cas A may have been too close to the earlier supernova of its neighbor, an explosion that would have been strong enough to blow the hydrogen layer away.
Going Together
An international team of astronomers modeled how when one star in a binary system blows up, it can essentially “sandblast” the other one, as Live Science put it. Their research, published in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, matches the existing data on what happened to Cas A and similar binary supernovae.
“This is enough for the second supernova of the binary system to become a stripped-envelope supernova,” lead author Ryosuke Hirai, a researcher at The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Gravitational Wave Discovery, said in a press release, “confirming that our proposed scenario is plausible.”
Controlled Demolition
The first supernova taking away Cas A’s outer layer of hydrogen also likely sent it into a wildly unstable state, Live Science reports, potentially speeding up its own death.
The new research is only a model. But just as those models predicted, the researchers found a cloud of hydrogen 50 million lightyears away: a shattered remnant from the first explosion.
If life does exist on Venus, NASA may have first detected it back in 1978. But the finding went unnoticed for 42 years.
Life on Venus is still a long shot. But there's reason to take the idea seriously. On Sept. 14, a team of scientists made a bombshell announcement in the journal Nature Astronomy: Using telescopes, they'd detected phosphine, a toxic gas long proposed as a possible sign of alien microbial life, in the upper part of the planet's thick atmosphere. The detection was a landmark in the long hunt for life elsewhere in the solar system, which has mostly focused attention on Mars and a few moons orbiting Jupiter and Saturn. Meanwhile, Venus, hot and poisonous, was long considered too inhospitable for anything to survive. But now, digging through archival NASA data, Rakesh Mogul, a biochemist at Cal Poly Pomona in California, and colleagues have found a hint of phosphine picked up by Pioneer 13 — a probe that reached Venus in December 1978.
"When the [Nature Astronomy paper] came out, I immediately thought of the legacy mass spectra," Mogul told Live Science.
Mogul and his coauthors were broadly familiar with the data from the missions, he said. "So, for us, it was a natural next step to give the data another look. As such, after consulting with my co-authors, we identified the original scientific articles, and promptly started looking for phosphorous compounds."
The discovery, published to the arXiv database Sept. 22 and not yet peer reviewed, doesn't tell researchers much beyond what was reported in Nature Astronomy — though it does make the presence of phosphine (made up of a phosphorus atom and three hydrogens) even more certain, they said. The 1978 data comes from the Large Probe Neutral Mass Spectrometer (LNMS), one of several instruments that descended into Venus' atmosphere as part of the Pioneer 13 mission.
An image shows how Pioneer 13's large probe, which carried the LNMS, might have looked as it plunged through Venus's clouds.(Image credit: NASA)
Pioneer 13 dropped a large probe (the LNMS) into Venus' clouds; suspended from a parachute, the probe collected data and beamed it back to Earth as it plummeted toward its robotic death. (Three smaller probes also dropped from Pioneer 13 without parachutes.) The LNMS sampled the atmosphere and ran those samples through mass spectrometry, a standard lab technique used to identify unknown chemicals. When scientists first described the LNMS results in the 1970s, they didn't discuss phosphorus-based compounds like phosphine, focusing instead on other chemicals.
When Mogul's team reexamined the LNMS data from Venus' lower and middle clouds (a potential habitable zone on the planet), they found signals that look a great deal like phosphine, the researchers wrote. The scientists also found definitive evidence for atoms of phosphorus in the atmosphere, which likely came from a heavier gas such as phosphine.
LNMS wasn't built to hunt phosphine-like compounds, and would have had a hard time distinguishing the gas from other molecules that have similar masses. But Pioneer 13's sample did have evidence of some molecule present in the gas that had the same mass as phosphine — in amounts that match the levels described in the Nature Astronomy paper.
"I believe that evidence for [trace chemicals that could be signatures of life] in the legacy data were sort of discounted because it was thought that they could not exist in the atmosphere," Mogul said. "I think many people are now revisiting the notion of Venus as a fully oxidizing environment." (A "fully oxidizing environment" wouldn't include phosphine or most other chemicals seen as signs of life.)
Mogul and his colleagues also found hints of other chemicals that shouldn't arise naturally in Venus' clouds — substances like chlorine, oxygen and hydrogen peroxide.
"We believe this to be an indication of chemistries not yet discovered," they wrote, "and/or chemistries potentially favorable for life."
What's needed, they wrote, is further, sustained exploration of Venus.
"We need a more sustained approach for exploration like that of Mars," Mogul said.
NASA and the European, Indian and Russian space agencies have plans for Venus probes that might be helpful, he said.
"However, when considering the past, current, and future habitability of Venus, we would need longer-term chemical and geology studies to understand the sources of any potential chemical [anomalies] in the clouds," he said. "This could be from orbital probes, balloon-suspended probes in the clouds, and/or heat-stable lander probes."
The phrase "heat-stable" is important, given the planet's habit of killing any robot that lands on its sizzling hot surface.
For just about as long as there has been talk of UFOs and aliens, there has been that of these entities whisking people away for mysterious purposes. One of the weirder features of the alien abduction phenomenon are those cases in which some sort of physical evidence has been left behind on or in the bodies of the victims, and this can take many forms. Everything from burns, to strange lesions or rashes, to unidentifiable hairlessness, to myriad unexplained physical symptoms of all varieties have been seen in the alleged victims of UFO abductions, but some of the most remarkable of all are those instances in which some sort of foreign object has been left behind within the body of the abductee for purposes unknown. They are called “alien implants,” and can be simply small pieces of metal, strange wires, or other more sophisticated constructs like tubes or something akin to computer chips. Such implants have long been seen as very bizarre and fringe even within the UFO field, but there have been some seemingly very reliable witnesses to the phenomenon, and one of these must certainly be the surgeon who specialized in removing these outlandish otherworldly devices.
Roger Krevin Leir started out as a well-respected podiatric surgeon from California, who was not always known for his involvement with aliens and UFOs. He gradually picked up an interest in Ufology over the years and became a member of his local chapter of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), attending conferences, but at the time is was more a hobby than anything else. It was at one conference in particular that his life would be changed forever. In 1995, Leit attended a MUFON conference and was presented the X-rays of a woman who claimed to have been abducted by aliens. The X-rays were strange, and since Leir was a doctor they were shown to him to see what he thought. They appeared to show some sort of small metal objects embedded within her, and he went about having them surgically removed out of sheer curiosity.
Roger Krevin Leir
What he found was that the objects were two tiny metal shards that when analyzed by a laboratory showed them to be composed of aluminum and a type of iron typically found in meteorites. There could be found no traces of scars to show a point of insertion, nor was there any inflammatory tissue or rejection reaction by the body to these foreign objects. How did these objects get there and what were they? Leir was perplexed, and when he removed similar objects from a second patient he knew that there was something very strange going on. He decided to devote his time to studying this bizarre phenomenon, and would open a practice especially for this purpose, as well as a nonprofit research organization dedicated to it, called A&S Research, even hiring a dentist, a radiologist and a general surgeon to be a part of his team. What he would find over the course of at least 17 such implant extractions over his career would open his eyes to a whole new, bizarre world.
According to Leir, these implants really ran the range of strangeness. Some were composed of strange metals or elements, including Rare Earth Metals such U-236, as well as a single isotope of Uranium existing by itself, a very rare element known as Iridium, alloys with non-terrestrial isotopic ratios suggesting they came from space, and other strange anomalies. Implants would sometimes demonstrate odd qualities such as unknown odd crystalline structures and advanced constructs such as carbon nano tubes, carbon nano strands and carbon nano fibers, as well as an oily hard outer covering that seemed to prevent the body from rejecting them. The implants often displayed unusual magnetic properties, and some were claimed to emit radio waves of “deep space frequencies” in the FM band, as well as electromagnetic fields in excess of ten milligauss, with some implants continuing to transmit even after removal. There was never any visible point of entry into the body, and Leir claimed that these implants would sometimes move during surgery, as if trying to avoid being removed. The implants also had a high resistance to ordinary cutting techniques such as metallic sawing, or severing with a cutting instrument, forcing Leir to resort to cutting them with lasers at times. Some cases were particularly odd, such as one in which the implant broke and then reassembled itself after removal. Leir would write of this outlandish case in an article in X News Magazine as follows:
Case number 15 involved a male patient who was married with several young children and a resident of Southern California. He had a long history of abductions and they involved both his wife and family. One morning he awoke with pain in a toe and several small dots of blood on the bed sheet. This had occurred during the night and he made an appointment the following day with me in my office, as an ordinary foot patient. He withheld the fact that he was an abductee. He finally related to me the story about his last nights incident and confessed he had seen me on television. After examination I became suspicious that he did have a foreign body in his toe and suggested an x-ray. At the time there were no wounds or signs of blood. The x-rays proved positive for a metallic foreign body and because of his pain, it was recommended that it be removed. On his follow up visit he told me about his many abduction experiences and why he chose me as his specialist. The patient was given a copy of our extensive questionnaire and was told to fill it out and return them to me. Following that his surgery was scheduled.
The following is a partial list of unusual events associated with his surgery: 1. All of our surgeries are performed with the use of an X-ray device called a C Arm. This allows the surgeon to see the object on two television screens and we can visualize the instruments we are using to remove it while they are inside the body. This was the first object that broke into several smaller pieces during the process of removal. Each piece was placed on surgical gauze and then transferred into the container filled with the patient’s own blood serum. We had removed all the pieces except for one final piece. When we revisited the TV screens we noticed the final segment that was left was gone. After an adequate time of searching for it we simply gave up because it was not there and had simply vanished. 2. After three days went by, I reexamined the container holding the individual segments of the object and noticed they were all lined up in a straight line on the bottom of the container. I re-sealed the container and shook them up, placed the container on a table and waited about 15 minutes. Reexamination was shocking as they had again re-assembled themselves in the order they were in the x-ray. I called our camera operator. He came and we filmed this several times. We have no explanation for this metallic behavior and can only conclude that the alloys were some kind of memory metal.
One of Leir’s extracted implants
Making it even odder still was that in some cases the implants were estimated to have been within the subject for decades, meaning they predated any of the technology behind them should have been possible, and all of this convinced Leir that these were devices that had been planted there within the body by extraterrestrials for inscrutable purposes. His main theory as to their purpose was that they were possibly used for tracking people or monitoring physical changes, but it was anyone’s guess. He was very aware that his work was drawing some amount of criticism and skepticism, but he would claim that he had pursued his finding through the most stringent scientific methods. Leir would say of his surgeries and analyses:
To date our research team through our non profit, research organization, A&S Research has performed 17 surgeries for removal of objects from alleged alien abductees suspected of being alien implants. The implants have undergone rigorous examinations by both biological and metallurgical scientists associated with some of the world’s most prestigious laboratories such as Los Alamos National Labs, New Mexico Tech, University of Toronto, York University, Southwest Laboratories, Seal Laboratories and numerous others with the same validation. The discoveries have been both earth shattering and prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that these objects are non-terrestrial in origin and have been placed in humans all over the world by advanced species for reasons we still do not understand. It is my opinion that someone, or some entity, from somewhere else, is implanting these devices into human beings so that they can possibly monitor genetic changes which are occurring in the human body.
Leir would go on to write several books on the subject, including his hot-selling The Aliens and the Scalpel and Casebook: Alien Implants, as well as numerous articles, and he would appear in countless radio and television shows, cementing his place as a revolutionary pioneer into the phenomenon of alien implants within the UFO community. He also was the subject of the documentary Patient Seventeen, by investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, who filmed one of Leir’s actual surgeries to remove an implant from a man’s thigh. The implant was then sent to be analyzed, although the results have remained inconclusive as to what the device is. Corbell, who went in skeptical and now has an open mind, has said of his experience with Leir:
I told Dr. Leir that I would film his surgery, but if he was lying, bending the truth or trying to deceive the public in any way by altering his results, that I was going to out him. I asked him if he was sure that he wanted me to film his work, and he said, ‘Yes, Jeremy. I’ve been doing this for more than two decades, and there’s something to this!’ I don’t think belief should play a role here at all. I might be sitting on the most astounding physical evidence of an off-world, non-terrestrial nanotechnological device from an advanced Alien intelligence…or not. But you can be sure that I’m going to find out. I owe that to Patient Seventeen and I owe that to Dr. Leir.
Of course, with such amazing claims there are also plenty of skeptics, both within the medical field and Ufology. The main skeptical argument is that these are merely ordinary objects such as pieces of metal or shards of glass that have gotten lodged with the body in a way similar to splinters, or even simply disconnected collections of fat cells., and Leir has also been criticized for being reluctant to allow other independent doctors to do their own analyses of the objects in question. Also damning is a 1999 program called Penn & Teller: Bullshit!, which found that Leir had at one point been put on probation for 3 years by the California Board of Podiatric Medicine for “repeated acts of negligence.” Sadly, Leir passed away in 2014 at the age of 79 shortly after Patient Seventeen wrapped filming, taking whatever secrets he had to the grave with him. We are left to ask whether Roger Leir was a fraud or for real, and what his alleged findings mean. What did he find in these patients, if anything? If these really are what he claimed they were, then what are they for, and who put them there? Whatever the case may be, the phenomenon of alien implants has not gone away, and there continue to be those who claim to have these devices lodged within them. What does it all mean? We may never know for sure.
Mysterious Object Moving To And From The Space Station, Sept 30, 2020, UFO Sighting News.
Date of sighting: Sept 30, 2020
Location of sighting:Space station
I found this in NASA space station archives and there is a small oval shaped UFO that comes towards the spaces station and apparently circles the ISS and then returns the way it came, but on the right side of the ISS. The UFO clearly is very interested in the space station and seems to have come in this direction for that one reason. The astronauts aboard the space station never said anything about it. I never heard any conversation at all. So I will just add music to it.
When I enlarged the UFO I found that it is egg shaped and has a bright green and yellow tint to it. This is absolutely 100% alien in origin.
Energy Entities Recorded Over UK On Oct 3, 2020, Raw Video, UFO Sighting News.
Date of sighting: Oct 3, 2020
Location of sighting: Preston in Lancashire, UK
Now at first this will appear to be spot lights, but as you watch, you will notice that it is something else. There is no light beam, no round or oval contact point on the clouds. Each beam is actually different in shape. The lights are not alien craft but energy beings that don't need a ship. They are traveling together as they usually do, but they are circling over an are for a bit. They only circle when they are noticed by humans below. They are as curious about us and our reaction to them as we are about them. 100% proof that advanced aliens are watching over the UK.
I took the video and added light to it to make the background sky and lights more visible...at the bottom of this post.
Plane Investigates UFOs Over Howard Beach, New York Oct 3, 2020, Video, UFO Sighting News.
Date of sighting: Oct 3, 2020
Location of sighting: Howard Beach, New York, USA
At first this looks like the big dipper star constellation, but then they slowly move and change positions. They move closer and closer to the eyewitnesses as if its the UFOs watching them. This is a common theme in many past UFO reports. The absolute proof of this being alien craft is that they were seen on radar and a plane was seen in the video investigating the UFOs at 1:30 into the video. You can tell the plane by its flashing aircraft lights as it slows down near the UFOs. This is serious proof that aliens exist and are watching us back.
Scott C. Waring - Taiwan
Eyewitness states:
Dit gebeurde rond 22:15 uur. UFO's ???!
Three Glowing UFOs Seen Passing Over Homes In Philadelphia, Oct 3, 2020, Video, UFO Sighting News.
Date of sighting: Oct 3, 2020 Location of sighting: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA At first the UFOs seem to be reflections from the street lights, however that is not the case. There are many glowing objects flying over the neighborhood. They are too low to be satellites and have no flashing lights so they are not aircraft. I am very surprised at the brightness of the UFOs. They must be close for them to shine so brightly. Excellent footage. Scott C. Waring Eyewitness states:
Please look at watch we just witness over Philadelphia. Three UFO's spotted in the sky. While you're watching look as the 3rd one appears out of no where. Dont pay attention to the 2 moving spots that was just glare in my camera lens. Omg what is going on!
Fast moving Orbs near ABE airport Pennsylvania caught on camera
Witness noticed a series of fast moving orbs in the sky over Bangor, Pennsylvania on which he started to record the strange phenomenon.
Witness states:
My Dad first noticed none blinking reddish lights fly by his window and came down to ask me if I saw something fly by.
I said no but call me if you see it again. So within about 2 minutes he called me and I ran outside to see. I immediately ran in to tell everyone to hurry up and come look. Then I started to record them.
They came in groups of 2 and 3 and I believe they were big in size, fast moving and very bright.
I live by ABE airport and see planes and just about everything before. I know what lighted blimps, Chinese lanterns, tracer rounds, A-10s, shooting stars and planets all look like but something like these orbs I've never seen.
They flew in a direction that I don’t see planes flying and a group of them flew by a commercial airplane that was dropping altitude to land. So whoever was flying or on that plane had to see them too. Mufon case 111692.
Although the orb phenomenon often is associated with paranormal activity in the way that some orbs could be connected to spirit beings and the afterlife, it is more likely that the fast moving orbs over Bangor, Pennsylvania are UFOs either man-made or of alien origin.
Was Space Force delayed nearly 20 years to facilitate a Space Pearl Harbor?
The recently established United States Space Force is widely considered to be the brainchild of President Donald Trump, which has subsequently aroused suspicion, if not outright opposition, by those believing it to be a grandiose vanity project with no genuine national security significance.
However, the first proposal for a Space Force dates back to a bipartisan "Space Commission" established during the Clinton administration that delivered a detailed report on January 11, 2001, recommending a new military space service to be called "Space Corps".
The chief goal of the Space Corps would be to prevent a future "Space Pearl Harbor".
On September 10, 2001, Rumsfeld appeared on live television, saying that the Pentagon could not account for 2.3 trillion dollars in the fiscal year 1999. This was money that could not be tracked by the Pentagon Inspector General, who had described similar anomalies with the Pentagon budget in 1998 and 2000.
The missing 2.3 trillion dollars probably were used to finance a black budget space program.

Forty-three years ago was the last time the U.S. government considered creating an official commission to investigate and report on UFOs. Despite Washington’s efforts to dissuade the public from any interest in UFOs through the 1969 issuance of the University of Colorado’s Condon Report, UFOs continued to appear. Eight years later, with President Jimmy Carter in office, his administration thought the time was right to officially request that NASA look into the phenomenon.
As put by a NASA scientist in a memo issued around the same time, however, “undertaking a formal [UFO] study at this time appears fraught with perils.” Needless to say, the commission was never finalized, and the 1977 deliberations between NASA, the White House, and other governmental agencies are an almost-forgotten episode in the official history of American ufology.
Jimmy Carter, UFO Witness
The inauguration of Jimmy Carter as the thirty-ninth President of the United States ushered a new round of expectations in the UFO community. After all, it could be said he was a member of that community. President Carter, who was a former Georgia governor, peanut farmer, and U.S. Navy nuclear engineer, not only claimed to have seen a UFO but officially reported it. In terms of UFO data, President Carter’s sighting is not an impressive incident, falling into the category of nocturnal light. The sighting would surely be forgotten if Carter had not become the president.
Steven Spielberg mentions Jimmy Carter potentially releasing UFO information in this video.
The first account of Carter’s sighting appeared in October 1973—during that year’s big UFO flap—when dispatches from Georgia quoted the governor’s first statement on UFOs: “I’ve seen one myself.” The story was picked up in the press, prompting the International UFO Bureau in Oklahoma City and the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP) in Maryland to send UFO questionnaires to the Georgia State Capitol. Carter personally filled out both questionnaires and gave permission to use his name as a witness. According to the questionnaires, the sighting occurred “shortly after dark” in October 1969 when Carter and ten other “members of Leary Georgia Lions Club” were “outdoors waiting for a meeting to begin at 7:30 p.m.” The sighting lasted between ten to twelve minutes and the object, located at “about 30 degrees above the horizon,” was described as “about the same size as the moon, maybe a little smaller, varied from brighter/larger than planet to apparent size of the moon.”
President Carter’s UFO story reemerged as he gained prominence during the 1976 presidential campaign. On June 8, the National Enquirer published a short interview with Carter in which he said, “I am convinced that UFOs exist because I have seen one,” adding that “I’ll never make fun of people who say they’ve seen unidentified objects in the sky.” In that interview, Carter also made an important promise to the American public: “If I become President, I’ll make every piece of information this country has about UFO sightings available to the public and the scientists.”
Ironically, the only ufologist to really investigate Carter’s sighting was skeptic Robert Sheaffer. The main clue was that Carter claimed to have seen the object while visiting the town of Leary to lecture at the local Lions Club. In his book, The UFO Verdict: Examining the Evidence, Sheaffer recounts that his effort to locate additional witnesses was difficult, but he was finally able to find one who remembered seeing, “like a blue light or something or other in the sky that night.”
However, Sheaffer soon discovered that there was a problem with the date given by Carter as the date of the sighting. Carter always said that in the sighting occurred in October 1969, but the Lions Club in Leary had disbanded in February of that year. Sheaffer eventually located the official records of the meeting at the Lions Club International Headquarters. The exact date of Carter’s speech in Leary was January 6, 1969, “nine months earlier than Mr. Carter’s recollection had placed it.” Furthermore, after computing the position of the planets for that date, Sheaffer discovered that “Venus was a conspicuous evening star, nearing its maximum brilliance. Venus was . . . at 7:15 PM, at about 25º elevation, in virtually the exact position where Carter had placed his UFO.”
The result of Sheaffer’s investigation was mostly ignored because it robbed the public of identifying the president as a witness to a genuine UFO. Yet, there is a high probability that what Carter saw could have been explained. The visual tricks that Venus can play in the eyes of the beholder have been known for decades by competent UFO investigators like Allan Hendry, who has characterized Venus as “the real champion” of the stars and planets that tend to cause UFO sightings.
The sighting, however, was only one aspect of President Carter’s link to ufology. The other was his campaign promise to release all the UFO data held by the government. Stanley Schneider, assistant to President Carter’s White House Science advisor Frank Press, later admitted to the New York Times that “public interest in this has been brewing for several months, slowly building up . . . It was getting to be more than we could handle.” In fact, so many letter about UFOs were sent to President Carter that Virginia ufologist Larry Bryant eventually published a book on the letters entitled, UFO Politics at the White House: Citizens Rally ‘Round Jimmy Carter’s Promise. One indicator of the campaign’s impact was revealed by U.S. News & World Report in its April 18, 1977 edition. Under the heading of “Official Word Coming on UFOs,” the magazine stated that “before the year is out, the Government—perhaps the President—is expected to make what is described as ‘unsettling disclosures’ about UFOs . . . based on information from the CIA.”
NASA’s UFO Past
In an attempt to achieve UFO disclosure, the White House had difficulty in developing a coherent policy, and thus, NASA became the logical candidate. Unlike the U.S. Air Force, NASA had never been officially involved in the UFO controversy, although a link between the two surfaced occasionally. Popular UFO articles, books, and movies often displayed UFO photos taken by NASA astronauts, but the great majority of these images were explained by prosaic phenomena such as lens flares, booster rockets, or items ejected from space capsules.

While NASA never officially investigated UFOs, it did produce a few UFO-related documents such as the Kennedy Space Center’s “NASA Management Instruction (KMI 8610.4)” of June 28, 1967, regarding “Processing Reports of Sightings of Space Vehicles Fragments.” The four-page-document signed by the space center’s director, Kurt H. Debus, contained procedures dealing primarily with manmade space vehicles, but KMI 8610.4 added that “reports of sightings of objects not related to space vehicles” were also included: “It is KSC policy to respond to reported sightings of space vehicles fragments and unidentified flying objects as promptly as possible.” The document provided definitions of “Space Vehicle Fragment” and “Unidentified Flying Objects,” and KSC personnel were instructed to “call in unidentified flying object reports to the Patrick Air Force Base Command Post.”
Additionally, NASA’s name appears often in connection with mysterious space crashes such as the one in Kecksburg, Pennsylvania in 1965, which later led to a lengthy Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against NASA by journalist Leslie Kean. The space agency also appeared as a “forwarding” office in several declassified documents from other government branches.
NASA’s Response to the White House
It was against this background that NASA found itself tasked with official UFO responsibility early on in the Carter administration. That segment of the population that believed Earth was being visited by aliens had not forgotten Jimmy Carter’s campaign promise. The president’s science and technology advisor, Frank Press, became the White House official in charge of the UFO problem, but outside help was sought when the White House became overwhelmed with UFO mail. Press stated in his July 21, 1977 letter to NASA administrator Robert Frosch “that the focal point for the UFO question ought to be NASA.”

“There appears to be a national revival of interest in the matter with a younger generation becoming involved,” wrote Press, adding that “this is a public relations problem as much as anything else.” Press’s problems were twofold: First, the most immediate issue was how to deal with the growing number of correspondence regarding UFOs being received by the White House. Second, Press has to face the substantive issue of whether there was any truth to the UFO phenomenon and he believed that a new “panel of inquiry could be formed by NASA” to review the UFO evidence and “see if there are any new significant findings.”

Subsequent FOIA requests revealed that even before Frosch responded to Press on September 6, 1977 the U.S. Air Force was already meddling in the affair. One of the most significant and prophetic pieces of paper to come out of this period is a four-line letter written on September 1, 1977 by Colonel Charles H. Senn, the chief of the air force’s community relations division. The addressee was another former air force man, Lieutenant General Duward L. Crow, who was, at that time, the assistant deputy administrator of NASA. Along with an enclosed “UFO Fact Sheet and standard response to UFO public inquiries” that Crow had requested, Senn wrote, “I sincerely hope you are successful in preventing a reopening of UFO investigations.” Considering what took place in the ensuing months, when NASA literally turned down an official request from the White House, one does not need to be particularly conspiratorial to see that the air force was not a neutral party in this drama. Before Frosch’s response to Press was sent on September 6, the letter was rewritten twice by Crow.

Bob Frosch’s letter was courteous, but not encouraging. The strategy for responding to UFO inquiries from the public through “form letters” and “information sheets” was discussed, as both NASA and the air force had discovered long ago that it was the most economical method. It obviously had its problems, continued Frosch, such as the lack of a “focal point for technical appraisal of sightings.” No quick action was to be taken regarding the proposed UFO panel or commission, wrote Frosch, “before . . . we should assure ourselves that an inquiry is justified.” His suggestion, therefore, was to name “a NASA project officer to review reports of the last ten years” and “provide a specific recommendation” by the end of the year.
Press’s response to Frosch a week later stated he was “pleased . . . that NASA can handle the public inquiries” so as to “relieve my staff of a responsibility we are not equipped to handle.” Frosch never said in his letter that NASA would handle the mail for the White House; instead, he had only referred to the air force and NASA’s experience in using form letters. Press agreed fully with Frosch that the NASA commission was something that should be weighed carefully and wrote, “I can understand your reluctance to commit the agency to a formal program.” He conceded that it was up to the space agency to review the UFO situation as it best saw fit.
NASA’s review of the UFO question was not a formal study, but an in-house analysis of the options available. The key document is a four-page memo, “UFO Study Considerations,” dated November 8, 1977 written by Dr. Noel Hinners, NASA’s associate administrator for space science. Dr. Hinners considered “the question of what NASA could reasonably do in both the short and the long term,” he wrote in his memo to NASA’s assistant administrator. The scientist went about his task in a straightforward manner, outlining succinctly the current UFO scene which included
“Widespread interest” with about half of the American population believing “something” exists;
Interest in forming a “specialized agency” in the United Nations;
A formal study group being set up by the CNES, NASA’s counterpart in France;
Several solid private UFO organizations in the USA “with responsible membership”;
An increase in reports of what Hinners referred to as “the near encounter type”; and
A wider acceptance within the UFO community of a government cover-up, meaning not only that the Government “knows far more than it has released,” but that it “may even have pieces of UFO hardware in hand.”
Dr. Hinners analyzed the problems facing a NASA UFO review: the “apparent lack of any tangible or physical evidence for laboratory analysis,” and the “absence of any sound scientific protocol for investigating the phenomenon firsthand.” The word “apparent” in the first line is to be noted while the word “absence” in the second line is questionable. After three decades of amateur investigations, by 1977, civilian UFO organizations had achieved a degree of this so-called “scientific protocol.” Other problems outlined by Dr. Hinners were the abundance of “secondary source materials” or “hearsay”; the prejudices on the part of investigators; hoaxes; “the delicate interface,” as Hinners put it, between the government and UFO witnesses; and “the danger of projecting an inaccurate NASA or Administration image.” Dr. Hinners’s conclusion was that, “all in all, undertaking a formal study at this time appears fraught with perils.”

Dr. Hinners presented two choices to NASA. The first option was to reject the White House’s idea for “the Federal government and specifically NASA, to investigate the UFO phenomenon.” As Dr. Hinners opined, this option would give added fuel to the “charges of cover-up” by the UFO community, but it would also avoid “controversy . . . within the science community NASA deals with.” There were budgetary advantages too in keeping the current policy of form letters and not spending extra resources, but Hinners had the intelligence of pointing out that choosing this option “would also be begging the question.”
The second option was for NASA to consider creating a commission to investigate the topic. This option seemed almost identical to the early, positive days of the Condon Committee. Basically, Hinners’s thought was that the commission could request major UFO organizations “to submit their ‘best’ cases,” put “this material into a usable format,” update and revise it, and finally “ask for a peer review.” On the basis of this preliminary study, NASA would decide whether some form of permanent UFO investigative branch should be established. Hinners also recommended something that was later used by Bob Frosch in his final and formal rejection of the commission that, “as a minimum, having gone so far and this publicly, NASA should stand ready to investigate new hard evidence that might come in.”
In late November 1977, the White House decided to go ahead publicly with formally requesting a NASA UFO commission. The wire services carried the story and quoted David Williamson, NASA’s assistant for special projects, saying the agency was “not anxious” to study UFOs. Like Dr. Condon, Williamson appeared to disqualify any existence of UFOs before any official conclusion had been reached. “There is no measurable UFO evidence such as a piece of metal, flesh or cloth,” he said.
When Bob Frosch finally responded to Frank Press on December 21, 1977, nobody in Washington was surprised. The main theme was “the absence of tangible physical evidence available for thorough laboratory analysis” coupled with the willingness to analyze “any bona fide physical evidence from credible sources” submitted to NASA. Frosch also mentioned the lack of “a sound scientific procedure for investigating these phenomena” as a reason that a study “would be wasteful and probably unproductive.” The shadow of Dr. Condon, deceased since 1974, seemed to pervade this letter. Condon had concluded eight years earlier that science could not be expected to gain anything by studying UFOs. Frosch reached the same conclusion without even embroiling himself in a thousand-page report at a cost of over half a million dollars. After turning down the White House’s request, Frosch left a way out, just in case, writing, “I wish in no way to indicate that NASA has come to any conclusion about these phenomena as such; institutionally, we retain an open mind, a keen sense of scientific curiosity, and a willingness to analyze problems within our competence.”
In 1978, NASA released its revamped “Information Sheet No. 78-1” on UFOs. It stated that other than answering UFO-related mail sent to the White House, “NASA is not engaged in a research program involving these phenomena, nor is any other government agency.” The six-page document was an updated version of the old air force form letter, yet NASA added an interesting paragraph not to be found in the Pentagon’s counterpart: “Reports of unidentified flying objects entering United States air space are of interest to the military as a regular part of defense surveillance. Beyond that, the US Air Force no longer investigates reports of UFO sightings.” In other words, NASA provided an admission that NORAD and the U.S. military still keep an eye on UFOs with possible national security implications. The NASA document quoted extensively from the administrator’s letter about the “bona fide physical evidence” and lack thereof.

It is interesting to see how quickly and effectively the government muzzled this revival of UFO interest. Although numerous FOIA lawsuits were being pursued by researchers, many months and even years would pass before some of these documents were obtained, processed, and publicized. But, the interaction between the White House, NASA, and the U.S. Air Force during this little known episode in President Carter’s administration offers a window into how the federal government deals publicly with ufology. The failed NASA UFO commission attempt by the Carter administration in 1977 is the last time the U.S. government even considered launching a new formal study. Given the current state of affairs in Washington, it’s extremely unlikely that a new effort will be attempted anytime soon, but the phenomenon itself is certainly not likely to go away.

Science has proven that “hominids” have lived on this planet for a very long time. It has also proven that Homo Sapiens Sapiens have not.
Our ancestors arrived here as interstellar prisoners approximately fifty thousand years ago.
The optimal conditions for our exile were:
no memory of former lives
no tools or technology
a planet hospitable to our life form far from intergalactic civilization
no direct contact or interference in development
periodic monitoring and assessment
Based on certain facts, there have been theories stipulated, in various timelines, which support the concept that our entire planet was created as a sort of prison.
According to one theory, it is a prison for the observation of our species. For another theory, Earth is a spiritual prison.
Let’s keep an open mind about this, as it is only natural that when a theory is brought forth, supporting something different than what was taught in school, most people dismiss it without even considering the evidence.
Researchers have discovered the true colors of a group of fossilized insects, trapped in amber approximately 99 million years ago in Myanmar. The ancient insects include cuckoo wasps, soldier flies, and beetles, all bursting in metallic blue, purple, and green colors.

Nature is very visually rich but fossils rarely retain evidence of an organism’s original color. Nevertheless, paleontologists are now finding ways of teasing out colors from well-preserved fossils, whether they be dinosaurs and flying reptiles or ancient snakes and mammals.
Knowing the color of extinct species is actually very important, as it can tell researchers many things about the behavior of the animals. Colors could have been used to attract mates or warn off predators or even help with temperature regulation, for example. Knowing more about them can also help researchers know more about ecosystems and environments.
For the new study, a research team from the Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (NIGPAS) looked at 35 individual amber samples with fantastically preserved insects trapped inside. The fossils were found in an amber mine in northern Myanmar.
“The amber is mid-Cretaceous, approximately 99 million years old, dating back to the golden age of dinosaurs,” said Cai Chenyan, the lead author, in a press release. “It is essentially resin produced by ancient coniferous trees that grew in a tropical rainforest environment. Animals and plants trapped in the thick resin got preserved, some with life-like fidelity.”
Colors in nature usually fall under three main categories: bioluminescence, pigments, and structural colors. The amber fossils found retained structural colors, which tend to be intense and rather eye-grabbing (including metallic colors) and are produced by microscopic light-scattering structures located on the heads, bodies, and limbs of animals.
The researchers polished the fossils using sandpaper and diatomite powder. Some pieces of amber were polished into very thin slices, making the insects clearly observable and the surrounding amber matrix almost transparent in bright light. The images included in the study were edited to adjust for brightness and contrast.
“The type of color preserved in the amber fossils is called structural color,” said Pan Yanhong, a co-author of the study, in a statement. “The surface nanostructure scatters light of specific wavelengths” which “produces very intense colors,” said Pan, adding that this “mechanism is responsible for many of the colors we know from our everyday lives.”

Among all the fossils, the cuckoo wasps were particularly stunning, with their heads, thorax, abdomen, and legs featuring hues of metallic blue-green, yellow-red, violet, and green. The color patterns were a close match to cuckoo wasps alive today, according to the research. Other standouts included blue and purple beetles and metallic dark-green soldier flies.
The researchers used electron microscopy to demonstrate that the amber fossils have a “well-preserved exoskeleton nanostructure that scatters light.”
“Our observations strongly suggest that the color preserved in some amber fossils may be the same as displayed by the insects when alive, some 99 million years ago,” wrote the authors in the study. “This is moreover corroborated by the fact that metallic blue-green coloration is frequently found in extant living cuckoo wasps.”
Stone Age Rock Tombs Found Near Göbekli Tepe Provide More Ancient Clues
Göbekli Tepe, in Turkey, is regarded as one of the most importantStone Agearchaeological sites in the world. It has changed our view of how civilization developed. Recently, archaeologists working not far from Göbekli Tepe have made further discoveries related to the Stone Age complex.
They have found a large number of Stone Age rock tombs that could help to solve some of the mysteries of this prehistoric complex and the area that surrounds it. The excavation of the Stone Age rock tombs is near to the place where a Stone Age figure known as the Balıklıgöl statue or Urfa man, dating to 9000 BC, was also found.
Experts from the Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality were collaborating with personnel from the Culture and Tourism Ministry, who were investigating the Kizilkoyun Necropolis area, when they discovered the Stone Age rock tombs. They came across the burial site in the Old Town of Şanliurfa, not far from where some stunning mosaics of hunting Amazons were previously unearthed. The rock tombs are believed to have been part of the same cultural area as Göbekli Tepe.
The Urfa Man Is Much Like The Eye-Idols Found At Göbekli Tepe
The enigmatic Urfa man figure appears to be related to the distinctive T-shaped statues found at Göbekli Tepe , in particular in their ‘”double V-shape neck design”, according to Ancient Origins . The haunting empty staring eyes of the Urfa man have been likened to the so-called eye-idols found at Göbekli Tepe. The Urfa man figure is about 6 feet (1.80 meters) high and was most likely used for ceremonial or religious purposes and was possibly an idol. Hurriyet Daily News states that it has been called by experts the “oldest naturalistic life-sized sculpture of a human.”
The Urfa Man with its empty eyes, which was found not far from the recently discovered Stone Age rock tombs in Turkey.
According to Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül, the mayor of the Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, “a total of 662 shanty houses were demolished in the area and 61 rock tombs unearthed.” The rock tombs come in a variety of sizes and they appear to have been built later than Göbekli Tepe. However, it is believed that these tombs will provide evidence on the prehistoric site and its builders.

The Stone Age Mysteries of the Incredible Göbekli Tepe Site
Göbekli Tepe is a tell or massive earthen mound in the south-east of Turkey, a 30-minute drive from the city of Şanlıurfa. Göbekli Tepe dates to approximately 10,000 BC and was built and used by Stone Age people. It is home to the world’s oldest megalithic structure , which is comprised of 200 monumental T-shaped standing stones arranged in circular formations. The function of the site is not known but it was probably religious, and many view it as the world’s oldest temple. Göbekli Tepe is providing new evidence for the development of civilization and has already proven that Stone Age societies were much more sophisticated than once thought. In 2018, the site was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site, but much of it is unexcavated and there are still many mysteries surrounding this incredible site.
The massive Göbekli Tepe earthen mound in the south-east of Turkey, a 30-minute drive from the city of Şanlıurfa, where the Stone Age rock tombs were recently discovered.
This is what makes the recent finding of the Stone Age rock tombs so exciting. The Mayor of Şanlıurfa told Yeni Şafak “We believe that the excavations we will carry out in the area where artifacts similar to the discoveries in Göbekli Tepe are going to be very significant.” Any links between the tombs at Kizilkoyun, and the UNESCO Heritage site is important because it could throw new light on Stone Age civilizations. The Mayor is quoted by Turkish Express as saying that “the excavations around the Kızılkoyun Necropolis will contribute to solving the mystery in surrounding Göbekli Tepe .” The Göbekli Tepe burial site is famous for the variety of its burials and funerary art.
More Discoveries Expected From The Kizilkoyun Necropolis
Investigations at the Kizilkoyun Necropolis area Stone Age rock tombs will continue, and any artifacts found at the site will be interpreted to determine if they are connected to Göbekli Tepe . There is great hope that the digs at the rock tomb site will solve some of the Göbekli Tepe mysteries that are still unsolved.
The mayor is quoted by Hurriyet Daily News as saying that “Şanlıurfa is already preparing for more discoveries, let humanity expect new surprises.” The burial ground is only one of many historic locations in the Turkish city, known as Edessa in ancient times, a strategically important center to several empires in classical antiquity.

The search for a habitable exoplanet has been a frustrating one. Although we've found a bunch of rocky planets orbiting at the right distance from their star, further investigation has so far mostly yielded nothing but barren poisonous rocks lashed with deadly stellar flares.
But according to new research using computer modelling to explore the conditions that could exist on different types of exoplanets, there could be places out there where life absolutely thrives - even more than it does on Earth.
And it all has to do with oceans.
"Our work has been aimed at identifying the exoplanet oceans which have the greatest capacity to host globally abundant and active life," explained geophysicist Stephanie Olson of the University of Chicago.
"Life in Earth's oceans depends on upwelling (upward flow) which returns nutrients from the dark depths of the ocean to the sunlit portions of the ocean where photosynthetic life lives. More upwelling means more nutrient resupply, which means more biological activity. These are the conditions we need to look for on exoplanets."
Olson and her team used software called ROCKE-3D developed by NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies to model rocky exoplanets. They modelled a range of different exoplanets to explore which would be the most likely to develop and sustain life, based on ocean circulation.
They found that thicker atmospheres combined with slower rotation rates and the presence of continents all produced higher upwelling rates.
"It shows us that conditions on some exoplanets with favourable ocean circulation patterns could be better suited to support life that is more abundant or more active than life on Earth."
We know that salty oceans are likely out there, beyond the Solar System. In addition to Earth, we know Mars was once rather watery, for instance. And there are the moons, too - Europa, Enceladus, Callisto and Ganymede number among the large moons in the Solar System that appear to have liquid oceans.
These nearby worlds don't meet the criteria laid out by the research, though. Mars is dry and has a thin whisper of an atmosphere, and the moons listed have barely-there atmospheres as well; we're also currently unsure of their continental status.
But there are a lot more exoplanets out there in the galaxy than there are moons in the Solar System. Last year, scientists released an estimate that up to 35 percent of all known exoplanets bigger than Earth should be rich in water.
So far, the first criterion in the search for habitable exoplanets has been whether a planet is in the "habitable zone" - where temperatures are not so hot that liquid oceans would vaporise, nor so cold that they would freeze.
This new research adds some parameters that could be employed on future searches, and may even inform the development of instrumentation optimised for detecting said parameters.
"In our search for life in the Universe, we should target the subset of habitable planets that will be most favourable to large, globally active biospheres," Olson said, "because those are the planets where life will be easiest to detect - and where non-detections will be most meaningful."
Although we’re all from here, Earth isn’t necessarily the best planet to live on in the Universe, according to new research. A new study lists two dozen such “superhabitable” planet candidates for further research.
Image via Pixabay.
It is quite an unexpected turn of events, but the planets identified in the new study all show some properties that could make it a better home for earthlings than Earth itself.
The study, published by researchers from Washington State University, also detail why these planets were chosen. Some are older, some larger, others wetter and slightly warmer than Earth. Some of them even orbit ‘better’ stars than our own Sun, and are expected to exist for longer.
Better than the original
“With the next space telescopes coming up, we will get more information, so it is important to select some targets,” said Schulze-Makuch, a professor with WSU and the Technical University in Berlin.
“We have to focus on certain planets that have the most promising conditions for complex life. However, we have to be careful to not get stuck looking for a second Earth because there could be planets that might be more suitable for life than ours.”
All the 24 maybe-superhabitable planets are over 100 light years away from Earth, so for the time being, they’re far beyond our grasp. However, with concentrated effort and data pooled from current and future telescopes, such as from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope, the LUVIOR space observatory, and the European Space Agency’s PLATO space telescope, we could glean enough data to see whether they’d be nice places to live.
Schulze-Makuch, a geobiologist with expertise in planetary habitability, worked with astronomers René Heller of the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research and Edward Guinan of Villanova University to first determine which criteria would make a planet superhabitable. Then, they dredged through data of the over 4,500 known exoplanets to see which would fit.
A habitable planet isn’t necessarily one that has life, but one that has the right conditions to sustain life as we know it — things like pleasant temperatures, liquid water, magnetic fields, and breathable atmosphere.
The team looked at systems with stars similar to our Sun (G-class stars) and planets orbiting them in the liquid water zone — not too far nor too close. But since G-class stars have a lifespan of just 10 billion years, and it took life on Earth 4 billion years to evolve, this means they’re not the best candidates for life, as they can consume their fuel before anything spawns on the planets that orbit them. That’s why the team also looked at the cooler, dimmer K-class dwarf stars, which have lifespans of 20 billion to 70 billion years.
While this gives the planets more time to develop life, the authors argue that we shouldn’t be looking at ones that are too old. In order to be habitable, a planet needs a protective magnetic field — the ones that don’t end up like Mars is today. Those magnetic fields are generated in their core, and they’re powered by geothermal energy — which itself is produced by radioactive decay inside the planet. The Earth is around 4.5 billion years old, meaning it hasn’t yet expended its cache of geothermal energy. The authors thus argue that we should be looking for exoplanets 5 billion to 8 billion years old.
As far as size is concerned, we should look for something slightly larger and heavier than our own. Exoplanets that are at least 10% larger than Earth would have more habitable land but provide almost the same experience as living here. One around 1.5 times heavier should be able to better retain its geothermal energy and have enough gravity to keep its atmosphere intact.
Size and mass also matter. A planet that is 10% larger than the Earth should have more habitable land. One that is about 1.5 times Earth’s mass would be expected to retain its interior heating through radioactive decay longer and would also have a stronger gravity to retain an atmosphere over a longer time period.
Another element they’d look for is more water, especially in the form of moisture, clouds, and atmospheric humidity. A surface temperature of around 5 degrees Celsius (8 Fahrenheit) higher than on Earth, alongside extra moisture, would probably be better suited to life as we know it today. They argue that these elements make rainforests on Earth more biodiverse than forests in colder, drier areas.
None of the 24 exoplanets meet all the criteria, but one of the candidates has four.
“It’s sometimes difficult to convey this principle of superhabitable planets because we think we have the best planet,” said Schulze-Makuch.
“We have a great number of complex and diverse lifeforms, and many that can survive in extreme environments. It is good to have adaptable life, but that doesn’t mean that we have the best of everything.”
The paper “In Search for a Planet Better than Earth: Top Contenders for a Superhabitable World” has been published in the journal Astrobiology.
A brutal attack on an Iron Age town in northern Spain during the mid-fourth or late third century B.C. left more than a dozen bodies — men, women and children — scattered and smoldering in the streets, as the town burned.
Injuries inflicted upon the people who died were horrific. One person was decapitated, two had severed arms, and the remains of nearly half of the individuals showed signs of mutilation, archaeologists recently discovered.
New analysis of the victims' bones — the first detailed investigation of their injuries — suggests that they were murdered by a neighboring community during either a calculated power grab or an act of revenge.
The site of the massacre was once a bustling, economically thriving town called La Hoya, located in northern Spain's Rioja Alavesa region. It was occupied from the 15th century B.C. to the third century B.C., and at its peak was home to about 1,500 people. Archaeologists uncovered the prehistoric settlement in 1935, and excavated it from 1973 until around 1990, uncovering about 15% of the site, the scientists reported in a study published today (Oct. 1) in the journal Antiquity.
Though only a fraction of La Hoya was excavated, it was immediately clear that something terrible had happened there. Burned skeletons — at least 13 complete and partial remains — were found lying in the streets and inside buildings. One adult male had been decapitated, though the archaeologists did not find his skull. Damage to his right clavicle and shoulder bone revealed that his attacker struck more than once, according to the study.
Bone injuries of another male victim suggested he had been stabbed repeatedly from behind; a teenage girl suffered an amputated arm, which was found a short distance from her body, still wearing five copper-alloy bracelets, the researchers reported. They found no signs of weapons near the bodies. Nor were there any defensive injuries, and the damage appeared to have been inflicted at close range. All of these clues pointed to a surprise attack.

Scattered craft items, hobbled livestock and vessels filled with recently harvested cereal grain suggest the attackers invaded La Hoya during a market day in the summer or early autumn. By deliberately choosing a time when public spaces would be crowded, the attackers would have ensured a higher number of casualties, according to the study.
Yet despite the display of abundant goods in La Hoya at the time of the attack, the city was unplundered and its riches untouched, hinting that the motivation for the violence was political rather than for economic gain, the scientists said.

A violent legacy
The Roman occupation of Iberia, beginning in 218 B.C., was brutal, and has long been credited with sparking cycles of regional violence and upheaval. Two Roman massacres in Iberian towns — Cerro de la Cruz in 150 B.C. to 130 B.C. and La Almoina in 75 B.C. — are known from archaeological evidence. In Cerro de la Cruz, the Romans enslaved 10,000 people and beheaded 500 of them; in La Almoina, they shackled and executed 14 unarmed men. There, one man was beheaded, another was pierced by a javelin, and several had all of their limbs cut off, according to the study.
However, the La Hoya carnage predates Roman conquest in northern Spain, so it's possible that political instability and deadly clashes between Iberian rivals were already well underway prior to the arrival of Roman forces, the scientists reported.
An attack on La Hoya, which was politically and economically important in the region, likely had dramatic repercussions on the balance of local power, "by either creating a power vacuum or by consolidating the position of a rival community," the study authors reported.
Because the bodies were left unburied, the village was probably abandoned after the slaughter. Some who have analyzed the La Hoya site previously suggested that the townfolk may have regrouped and continued to live in La Hoya for centuries after the massacre, according to the study. But the preserved aftermath of the attack and the condition of the remains make that scenario highly unlikely, "given the scale of death and destruction revealed by the excavations," the scientists wrote.
It often seems that the history of humanity is mostly just the history of warfare, and that’s especially true with the history of Europe, where entire ages are named for the wars and conflicts that took place in those time periods. No culture dominates both history and warfare like the ancient Romans, so one would believe that means the ancient Romans were the first Europeans to wage full-scale warfare. And one would be right … until now.
“Between the mid fourth and late third centuries BC, the site was subjected to a violent attack, its inhabitants killed and the settlement burned. Here the authors present osteological analyses for a massacre: decapitations, amputations and other sharp-force injuries affecting a wide cross section of the community. They interpret the massacre as an instance of conflict between rival local communities, contributing to a growing picture of the scale and nature of violence in Iron Age Europe.”
In a recent study published in the journal Antiquity, researchers led by Teresa Fernández-Crespo of Oxford University to a fresh look at remains discovered in the 1950s in La Hoya, an Iron Age town in what is now the Basque Country of northern Spain. Located in the Ebro River valley, La Hoya was a major town – the archeologists determined it had protective walls, streets and large buildings erected by the Berones, a Celtic culture. The Berones ruled the area from the 15th century BCE until about 300 BCE when they disappeared. New analysis of 13 remains gave Fernández-Crespo the definitive reason why.
“One adult male shows clear evidence of decapitation: his fourth cervical vertebra is completely bisected by an oblique cut, consistent with a single blow to the neck from left to right, at a downward angle.
“Although no clear defensive wounds have been identified, the most plausible explanation for the trauma observed is that it could have been inflicted during a face-to-face encounter in which the victim tried to confront his attacker.”
A male and a teenage female had their right arms amputated. The position of the female and her arm indicated it had been thrown away (with bracelets still on it) and she crawled to it until she died, either from blood loss or a stab in the back. Two more males had “sharp force injuries potentially inflicted from behind by bladed weapons – some swords and daggers were recovered in a nearby cemetery. (Photos here.) All of the skeletons showed signs the victims had been set on fire and were found unburied, indicating the perpetrators left them dead or dying in the streets.
As gruesome as the violence was, the cause was the real shocker. The archeologists found no evidence of raiding, pillaging or destruction of property in this thriving Iron Age marketplace. That leaves only one other reason for the massacre:
“Given the site’s location in a natural boundary area, the attack may have been a consequence of power struggles and territorial ambitions between neighbouring pre-Roman polities.”
Power and politics – of course. But the key phrase in the study is “pre-Roman.” La Hoya is the only known Iron Age Iberian site whose destruction occurred before the Roman conquest and occupation began in 218 BCE and warfare became the order of the day – Live Science reports that Roman massacres occurred in Cerro de la Cruz in 150 BCE to 130 BCE and La Almoina in 75 BCE.
It appears the massacre of La Hoya was so brutal and complete, the few survivors never came back. Who could have done this? The study concludes that pre-Roman Iberian Age societies waged political battles for power, dominance and destruction long before the rest of Europe became the war-mongering area it remains to this day. The last line of the study sums it up in terms George Orwell would enjoy … and modern humans should remember:
“Certainly, the Romans were not alone in being able to “make a desert and call it peace”.”
Make a desert and call it peace. Seen any of that lately?
LA Marzulli: The Mysterious Book of Enoch! The Nephilim and the Fallen Angels
COAST TO COAST AM INSIDER Archived Show – Author of The Nephilim Trilogy, Lynn Marzulli discussed his research into ancient manuscripts, UFOs, fallen angels and a race called the Nephilim. The Nephilim were giants of extraordinary size and strength who were the offspring of fallen angels and human women, Marzulli explained, citing the Book of Enoch’s account of the legendary race.
Remains of Nephilim as large as 14 feet tall were on display in the first century AD, he noted. According to Marzulli, the fallen angels (or inner-dimensional beings as he sometimes calls them) who fathered the Nephilim are still allowed access to our planet and in recent times have been mistaken for extraterrestrials.

Light Beings, Wormholes and Real Stargates with William Henry
COAST TO COAST AM INSIDER Archived Show – Investigative mythologist William Henry returned for a discussion on ‘Starwalkers,’ which he defined as light beings that are able to traverse the universe or connect with other dimensions, via wormholes or stargates.
Such travelers are described in ancient creation mythologies as well as depicted in ancient Egyptian & Sumerian art, he said. Further, Tibetan lamas were said to dissolve their bodies into pure energy and travel through the stars.
Hey I found some ancient stairs and railing statues in a Mars photo today. The stairs a perfectly shaped and even, but much of the stairs has long since eroded over time. However parts of the right side of the railing and carvings in it still exist. I colored the stairs yellow and the railing statues blue. When I took the stairs and flipped and adding to itself to make one whole staircase, the end result is exactly as you would expect...a stairway. Obviously these are the stairs of an ancient temple. The stairs would fit a person about 1.5 meters tall.
There were a few other structure. One large piece of machinery in the background. A curly snake like appendage coming from a statue and a primitive statue of two people in an embrace. Strange, but not really for any civilization.

White UFO Seen Over Caterbury, New Hampshire, USA, Oct 1, 2020, UFO Sighting News. MUFON
Date of sighting: Oct 1, 2020 Location of sighting: Caterbury, New Hampshire, USA The eyewitness was driving through Caterbury when he noticed a silver orb near the clouds. He tried his best to record it, but keeping an eye on the road was clearly more important. Lucky for us, he also kept an eye and camera on the UFO. The object is round and does seem to be deliberately flying near the clouds. It may have been hiding within one of them and decided to move to a new cloud. At the end of the video is a close up in slow motion. This is 100% alien in origin. Scott C. Waring
Eyewitness states:
Silver sphere in clouds moves slowly while shape shifting until it blasts away from me. Sun reflecting off it while it appears to be struggling to launch off. You can see it clearly in the video even though it is small. Video zoomed and slowed down.
Strange Craft Over New York, New York, Oct 4, 2020, UFO Sighting News. MUFON Report.
Date of sighting: Oct 4, 2020 Location of sighting: New York, New York, USA Source: MUFON #111687 This new video has a triangle shaped UFO passing over New York yesterday. The UFO wasn't alone but had a whole fleet of craft following along with it. The objects were seen during sunset, which is the most common time of the day to see a UFO. These strange dark objects don't have any jets investigating them, so I believe that they did not show up on radar. Very odd indeed. Scott C. Waring - Taiwan Eyewitness states:
I filmed a fleet of 10 to 12 ufo's flying over restricted air space of Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on Oct 4, 2020 at 6pm est. The one closest to me was chevron or cone shaped and was black while the others in the distance twinkled silver to the eye. I thought drones but anyone could drop bombs into Yankee Stadium via drones so no one is supposed to fly anywhere near it let alone 10 ufo's. They made no sound and my video is short because I didn't believe I captured anything nothing showed on my screen. Please tell me what this is and if anyone else reported it. Thanks.
