I spoke in a prior post about the kernel of truth in legends. Let's discuss these kernels. I will bold and underline things that are based on actual historic or verifiable details.

Stone Mother (Paiute Legend)

Thousands of years ago, the father of all Indians, “The Wolf” came to live on a mountain near Stillwater (a real place located in the Lohantan Valley). The Great Father was a wise and good ruler.

A woman, who lived with her husband in another part of Nevada, had heard about the great father. The woman became infatuated with him, and thought of nothing except to meet him someday. This made her husband very jealous and led them to fighting all the time. One day, while they were having another fight, the woman, in a rage, killed her husband. She began searching for the Great Father.

During her journey she had many adventures. One, while walking on the Shore of Mono Lake (actual lake in California near Nevada), a giant creature tried to eat her, but she was able to kill the giant and escape (in keeping with Lake Lohantan red-haired cannibalistic giants and skeletons found in Lovelock Cave and giants reported in Death Valley, CA)

She continued on her quest to find the Great Father. Until finally her journey brought her to Stillwater. Just as she arrived, she caught a glimpse of the Great Father. The woman couldn’t believe her eyes. She couldn’t believe how handsome he was.

The woman tried to hide from him for a time, but The Great Father noticed her tracks and called out to her and let her know that he knew she was there. He asked her to come out of hiding. The woman was scared and embarrassed but finally came out to meet him.

The Great Father knew she had traveled a long way and he took her to his camp. He fed her good food, and asked her to stay the night and she agreed with no hesitation.

After a few days together they fell in love with each other and they married on the eighth day. Soon afterwards they had children. The first child was a son, their second another son, and later several daughters. The oldest son was mean, troublesome and always fought with the other children, especially his brother. The fighting and bickering continued for many years.

The Great Father grew tired of all the fighting and had a meeting with all of his children to try to stop the fighting once and for all. He began by telling them that if they did not stop fighting, he would separate all of them. But before he could finish what he had to say, the children started fighting again.
The Great Father had had enough, and decided to separate all of them. He sent his oldest son and a girl to the west. They in turn became the Pit River Tribe (real tribe in Nevada). He sent his younger son with a girl to the east. They in turn became the Bannock Tribe (another great basin tribe). The other children remained at home and they became the Paiute Tribe (it might be interesting to test today whether these tribes are genetically related to secure yet another part of the tale as fact).

After shunning his children the Great Father was so distraught that he went to his home in the sky.

After a time, both brothers returned home, and the brothers brought many warriors for battle. They began fighting in a valley. When the mother saw her sons fighting she was so sad, it broke her heart. The mother climbed until she got to the top of a hill and sat there as she watched her sons fight. She soon started to cry. The sons continued to fight and the mother cried faster and harder. She cried so hard and for so long that her tears filled the land below. From her tears a lake started to form. After many moons her tears created a great lake, this lake is now called Pyramid Lake.

The mother stayed on the hill crying for so long that she turned into stone and remains there to this day.

You can see the Stone Mother (there is, in fact, a stone that looks like a woman-photo above) sitting on the east Shore of Pyramid Lake with her basket by her side. Of course, this is not say the woman actually became a stone, but that the legend tries to explain an actual feature that does exist.

**I highly recommend the book “Stone Age In the Great Basin” by Emory Strong that gives lots of info on these tribes where the red-haired giants lived including stories of the giants. This region of the Great Basin was filled with waterways and lots of ancient tribes and much of Giant Territory. You will find many kernels in this book that will amaze!**

Supporting That Giants Existed: This legend supports the ancient giants of the Great Basin, including a Paiute legend of their ancestors fighting off cannibalistic red-haired giants and trapping them in a cave to burn them to death; a cave that as later found to hold the bones of ancient tall ones with red hair and a tale of giant skeleton finds in Death Valley caves.

One of the most famous Sami folktales is the story of “The Pathfinder.” In it, a Sami village is attacked by a marauding tribe from the east called the Tjudes (aka Chudes)–ancestors of the Komi People. –***TRIBES FIGHTING IS A CLUE OFTEN OF GIANT SKIRMISHES*** In Russian folk legends, the Chudes were described as exalted and beautiful. One characteristic of the Chudes was 'white-eyed', which means lightly colored eyes, powerful and giant in size (a characteristic often attributed to finds of ancient giants with fair hair). The village fights as best it can, but the Tjudes vastly outnumber the Sami and soon kill all but one—a young boy. The Tjudes then force the young boy to lead them to the next village so they can attack and overtake it as well. The boy reluctantly agrees, leading the Tjudes by night through the mountains. At the top of one mountain, the Tjudes decide to wait until morning, fearing they will lose their way getting down the mountain. The Sami boy, however, urges them to follow him. He says he knows the mountain well and will lead them by torch. He suggests that they all tie themselves together by rope so none of them gets lost. The Tjudes agree, grateful that the Sami boy has become so loyal to them.

As they make their way down the mountain, however, the Sami boy leads them to a great cliff, stops at its edge and tosses his torch over the side, yelling, “Follow me!” The Tjudes, tied together, fall over the edge.

Supporting That Giants Existed: “The Seven Giants,” as these pillars (above) are called. In the Northern Region of Russia in this territory of the Tjudes (Chudes – above story), comes a local legend Russian of their formation (called “Manpupuder” – one of Russia's 7 Wonders). How did something this massive come to be? An experienced climber once tried to climb them and could only manage one!

**Incidentally, the Finnish have a giant called Koljo who was supposedly a carrier of disease and Pre-historic stone structures and large stone boulders that were thought to have been erected by Hiisis or giants. The Finnish term for a Bronze Age cairn grave (consisting of a pile of rocks) is still called a hiidenkiuas, Hiisi's pile of rocks. “Demonic creatures who eat the flesh of man.” (Here we go again with the cannibalistic tendencies of these giants-repeated too often to ignore). Described variously as ” Rakshasa were most often depicted as ugly, fierce-looking and enormous creatures and with two fangs protruding down from the top of the mouth as well as sharp, claw-like fingernails. They are shown as being mean, growling like beasts and as insatiable cannibals who could smell the scent of flesh. Some of the more ferocious ones were shown with flaming red eyes and hair, drinking blood with their palms or from a human skull (red-haired and ferocious as reported by the Paiutes in America). Generally they could fly, vanish, and had Maya (magical powers of illusion), which enabled them to change size at will and assume the form of any creature.

Supporting That Giants Existed: Today in the Himalayas there are reports of Yeti, tall, hairy and often reportedly ferocious beings who walk on two legs.

A very high altitude lake in in the Himalayas called “Mystery Lake” had the remains of hundreds of bones surfacing in the early 1900s.

The local legend said that king of Kanauj, Raja Jasdhaval, with his pregnant wife Rani Balampa, servants, dance troupe and others went on a pilgrimage to Nanda Devi shrine and the group faced a hail storm with large hailstones, from which the entire party perished near Roopkund lake.

Guess what? For 60 years the skeletal remains of more than 200 people, discovered in 1942 close to the glacial Roopkund Lake in the remote Himalayan Gahrwal region, have puzzled historians, scientists and archaeologists. A cannibal giant, ultimately defeated by the resourcefulness of the family of a hunter he killed.

A sinister Giant from the tales of the Native Australians. One day a man named Mummulbery hunted and caught a kangaroo. As he was taking this back to his two wives in his camp for dinner, Thardid Jimbo stepped in his way. He demanded to see the carcass that Mummulbery was holding. As Mummelbery turned round to show the kangaroo, Thardid Jimbo tore his head off. He then severed and ate the limbs carrying the head and torso back to Mumelbery’s camp (another cannibalistic giant) by following the footprints. When he got to the hut, he threw down to corpse he had carried and demanded that the two wives cook it for supper. The wives had been taught to be kind and resourceful so they took the body to cook. However instead of cooking they devised a plan to kill Thardid Jimbo. They told the Giant that a body of a man was not great enough for a magnificent Giant such as him. They told him to catch a female dingo that could be located in a cave. Thardid Jimbo took his nullanulla (club) *and ventured in to the far end of the cave. Whilst in there, the wives took some scrub at the entrance and set light to it. The fire spread inside the cave and Thardid Jimbo was caught in the flames (almost identical story to Paiutes at Lovelock Cave in Nevada). He tried to jump over the flames but being so big he hit his head against the ceiling an fell unconscious into the raging fire. Later the wives met with a wirinun (shaman) who used his powers to talk to Mummelbery. Mummelbery told his wives not to be sad and that if they missed him so much they could join him in the after life. The wives agreed and they hugged the golden light spirit of Mummelbery. They too turned into light and went into the after life.

Supporting That Giants Existed: Today's giant in Australia is the Yowie. Reportedly giant skeleton finds and giant footprints have been discovered here. More mythical support can be found in the Bible -

“For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof [13 to 14 feet], and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.”

It is rather interesting that this 6-toes/6-fingers/double rows of teeth are repeatedly described from dig site finds and yet there are legends thousands of years ago that speak of these same traits which are odd features to elaborate a story upon.

Flesh-eating giants (incidentally, today the site of supposed hunchbacked red-haired giants reported by villagers and site of mummies of giant size with elongated skulls)

As there is in Peru a story of some giants who landed on the coast at the point of Santa Elena, in the vicinity of the city of Puerto Viejo, I have resolved to mention what I was told about them,as I understood it, without taking into account the opinions of the common people and their various anecdotes, for they usually magnify events larger than life. The natives, repeating a story received from their forefathers from very remote times, say that there came from across the sea on reed rafts that were as large as big ships some men that were so big that an ordinary man of good size scarcely reached up to their knees: their members were in proportion to the size of their bodies, and it a monstrous thing to see their enormous heads and their hair hanging down about their shoulders. Supporting That Giants Existed: The Peruvian legend is in great detail and the finding of the skulls, bones, and wells all support this. As well, on Lake Titecaca, there is a tribe that lives on reed constructed islands and uses reed boats since long ago and still today. On Lake Lohantan in Nevada where Lovelock Cave is located – the site of the Paiute battle, these giants were reportedly using reed boats. In fact, in Lovelock Cave they unearthed amazing tightly woven reed containers that could hold water and duck decoys made of tule. The very name for the red-haired giants translated to “tule eaters.” The giants of the Upper Midwest lived on lakes and waterways and coveted shells.

It would appear that cannibals with advanced technology took the world thousands of years ago and settled in where Natives were forced to deal with this race of troublemakers and try to kill them off once and for all. Nearly every indigenous culture around the world tells of slewing these giants and their bones are still found today to support that these fair-haired/fair-eyed monstrous beings could not survive the unwelcoming by Natives.

**Interestingly, the Yaghan Tribe from the tip of Argentina on DNA showed no halotype A or B that is shared with all natives in the Americas. What exactly did they mate with? And the tribes of Florida and Texas Coast that were unusually tall – might they have been the product of a giant and a Native woman? Well, these mysteries continue and hopefully we get off our collective butts, find more skeletons and get the proper DNA screening to learn the place of their origin and if they show up in modern day people.**

Ancient Dinosaur Discovery Or Thunderbird?

This bird-like/dinosaur-like skeleton was found in a Western US cave in 2006. It was about a half mile into the cave within a very small crawlspace opening. They had some cans and bottles with them that they put out and proceeded to take photos. There was no way they were leaving the cave with this item. It had mineralized, part of the trachea was there and very brittle, some hide on it appears to still be on it. The finders did not really understand what they had found, but shared it with someone who recognized it was very unusual, MK Davis. MK was kind enough to share this with me to put out there for the public to puzzle over and see if anyone can identify what this was.

It was a large - what at the time looked like an ostrich sitting on its haunches, head missing, tail missing, upper arms missing (notice the cross bone over the ribs where a velociraptor would have attachment of the forearms) and lower part of the hind leg articulation is missing. When compared to a velociraptor skeleton (below) it looks pretty damn close.

This is one of those mysteries that we hope to settle and I would seriously appreciate any input into what this was.

In fact, this might be an explanation for the legend of Thunderbirds and the kernel of truth it could be based upon if such finds as these talons and skulls were found and sought after, they might make stories of what the origins of these strange things were. Hmmmm

Twaalf jaar geleden stopte Padgett met school, hij had geen enkele interesse in studeren, laat staan in wiskunde. Alleen als hij moest aftellen tot het moment dat hij vrij was of zijn barrekening moest betalen, dacht hij aan getallen. In 2002 werd hij buiten een karaokebar van achteren aangevallen door twee mannen. Hij kreeg een klap tegen zijn hoofd en raakte bewusteloos. Hij werd met spoed overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis, maar mocht dezelfde avond nog naar huis.

De volgende ochtend zette hij de kraan in de badkamer open en merkte hij in het stromende water allerlei lijnen op. Padgett kon er alleen maar naar blijven staren. Al snel raakte hij geobsedeerd door vormen in zijn huis, van vierkanten in het raam tot de kromming van een lepel. Hij was opeens veranderd in een wiskundig genie.

Tijdens één van zijn meditaties kwam hij tot de conclusie dat ‘cirkels niet bestaan’. Van het ene op het andere moment was hij niet langer slechts een ontvanger van geometrische beelden of een onderzoeker, maar een theoreticus.

Robert has gone under hypnosis, and described that he had been abducted by aliens and that they probed him. Robert vaguely remembers going up a ramp and seeing four beings sitting in a place that reminded him of a doctor’s office.

On March 30, 1995 in Transvaal, South Africa, a local farmer from Groot Marico in the western Transvaal plains region observed a saucer-shaped object on Thursday morning, with a distinctly visible hole in its hull. The farmer, Mr. Jan Pienaar (45), is of the opinion that this “vehicle” landed on a remote country road between Coligny and Brakspruit to have its damaged hull repaired. As they approached the city they were astounded to see a large object flying at low altitude coming from the West. The large object seemed to slow, then suddenly dropped at high speed and hovered over the General Electric plant. As it did all the lights in the factory dimmed and went out. Both women noted that this power outage seemed to only be at the General Electric facility, for they could see other city lights on in the distance. Both women recall that the traffic on the main highway in front of the General Electric building had come to a halt. Carol remembers that people were getting out of their cars and seemed to be awestruck at what they were watching. Both Carol and Louise estimate that they were perhaps 100 yards from the GE facility. Louise described what they saw: it was a saucer shaped object, perhaps two or three football fields in diameter. As you got a little closer, you could see blue, pink and yellow lights that seem to be alternating in rotation around the bottom of the craft. The top of the object was dull grey. Then both women tell us that almost everyone noticed that the flying saucer was totally silent. Carol made an interesting observation that while the lights in the GE facility went out with the appearance of this flying saucer, the car on the local highway did not seem to be affected. The craft hovered over the GE facility for about five, perhaps ten minutes, at which time the rotating lights all turned to a soft yellow color, then the craft began to rise straight up then headed West at low altitude away from Schenectady. After the flying object was clear of the GE facility the power abruptly returned and again the building was full of light. Out on the shoulders of the highway the people who had just observed this amazing phenomenon all had the same interesting remark, “Did this just happen? Was it real?” Both women remember that there was some news coverage. Back in the car, they could hear lots of people calling the local radio stations asking what it was that they all saw. Oddly the TV news stations seemed satisfied to report only the local military base’s explanation, which amounted to nothing special happened. They also say, that in the following days the press coverage, radio and television reports all said the event was simply some Air Force maneuvers. Carol’s now adult son remarked, “That it seems odd that after all these years and with all of people who stopped in front of the GE building that night and witnessed this amazing event… that there hasn’t been more personal accounts reported in UFO databases and stories on the Internet.” NOTE: The above image is a rendering.

At 5 p.m. Pacific Time on April 14, 2014, local residents and videographers witnessed a spectacular daylight UFO display that was captured by two video cameras featuring six independent imaging sensors in a neighborhood described as a UFO corridor near Vancouver City Hall. The presence of multiple witnesses along with redundant instrumentation utilized in documenting this event challenges improbable skeptical notions of video resulting from all sensors failing in the same way at the same time to produce UFO-like camera artifacts.

Self-Aware Social UFO

The UFO appeared moving slowing in the south-eastern sky at approximately 40 degrees above the horizon in stable seemingly self-powered flight under wind conditions evident by significant wind noise captured on camera microphones at ground level. The subject of the video exhibited both opaque light-absorbing as well as brilliant luminous characteristics, intermittently flaring in the most attention-grabbing sort of way (one that could be interpreted as an indication of self-awareness on the part of an intelligent flight operator).

Camera operators struggled to acquire focus under low-contrast sky conditions with Les Murzsa’s JVC GZ-HD7US 3CCD camcorder being first to establish a stable image powered by JVC’s patented Focus Assist function. At this time the UFO had begun to acquire speed while turning away to the northwest. While the Panasonic AG-DVC30 broadcast 3CCD camera was able to capture intermittent images during this period, it was not until several minutes had passed before that camera achieved focus offering telephoto images through a Schneider Optics adapter lens (@1246mm in 35mm equivalent).

While both cameras utilized neutral density filters, variance of the focal plane is particularly evident in the DVC30 footage. Camera operators attributed these somewhat less-than-spectacular results to first-of-season image capture jitters and oversight in omitting to use nearby foreground objects as reference markers to establish an image lock earlier in the event.

Spring Road Trip

In April 2014 two videographers residing within the southwestern region of the province undertook a road trip between the Okanagan and the city of Vancouver to record three UFO incidents over a five day period. Contactee and experiencer Les Murzsa along with this reporter first convened at a non-disclosed off-grid location known as the UFO Canyon in southwestern British Columbia. Early spring conditions at the canyon provided several nights of UFO skywatching in near-desert conditions under relatively clear skies.

An independent four-year study utilizing redundant multi-sensor camera arrays has established the UFO Canyon as a superb location for UFO sightings and bidirectional physical communications engaging their intelligent operators. Canyon captures included a UFO that displayed numerous intermittent bright flashes of light in night vision and color video as well as a UFO that appeared to interact with an illuminator while strobing intermittently captured in night vision video using the Pulsar Recon X550 digital night vision monocular attached to a portable digital video recorder.

A key lesson gathered from participants in the spring 2014 road trip considers the immeasurable value offered by live facilitators who provide access to locations, facilities, resources and live UFO contact. Slain wife haunts killer husband

An elderly man who said he had been haunted in his dreams by his wife since he killed her in a fit of anger and dumped her body in a pond has been arrested by police and charged with murder.

He told police he was so bothered by the dreams that he was about to turn himself in.

Phu Wiang police said the body of Orn Donkanha, 67, was found in a pond near Wat Santikaram in tambon Song Peuy of Phu Wiang district on April 15. She had been bashed on the left temple with hard object and had been dead around three days when she was found.

The police initially had no clue who was responsible, but suspicion later focussed on Sombot Samuk, 68, her new husband.

Mr Sombot and Orn had both been widowed and had been seeing each other for a few months. Although they each had their own home they frequenlty stayed together and were regarded as husband and wife.

He had disappeared from the area and police found out he was staying at a relative’s house in Chum Phae district in Khon Kaen.

The police sought an arrest warrant from the court on April 17 on a murder charge, and later arrested Mr Sombot.

Pol Maj Gen Churat Panngeo, superintendent of Provincial Police Region 4, said on Sunday that Mr Sombot admitted to killing his wife on April 11.

He said Mr Sombot and Orn were both widowed and had been together for some months.

Mr Sombot said Orn had frequenlty scolded him, but claimed he had been patient with her.

Mr Sombot said at Orn’s invitation he accompanied her to a shadow puppet show in the village on April 11. On the way back home she scolded him severely about his family and his children, and expelled him from her house.

He became angry and hit her twice with a wooden plank he saw beside the road. She fell to the ground and died shortly after. So he dumped her body in the pond.

He then returned to his home, changed and burned the clothes he had been wearing, and fled to Phu Kradung district of Loei. He later moved to stay with relatives in Chum Phae district.

The accused told police that while he was in hiding he dreamed about the dead woman every night, and she told him to surrender to police or she would continue to haunt him in his dreams.

Mr Sombot said he had been so upset by the dreams he contacted a relative in order to turn himself in, but he was arrested before he could go to the police station. – Bangkok Post

Haunted Hospital Lab

I’ve tried talking to them and asking them to leave. Have prayed for them to leave. Have gone around the work area with salt and they still approach the workers.

There is one female in particular who comes from a culture that believes in spirits and is deathly afraid of them. It doesn’t help that she has her own experiences in her culture where spirits were blamed for a child choking and pinching out of thin air. She is ready to quit because of them and I would like to find a way to get the spirits to leave so she doesn’t.

Several other people on different shifts have had unexplainable experiences. Things like having their hair or scrubs pulled on. Another person was minding her own business and had what sounded like a ton of glass breaking right next to her. I have seen a grey shadow moving across the floor and sensed spirits myself.
This amount of activity is relatively new and seems to correspond to the new worker who is scared of them.

A Prestatyn resident had his own close encounter with an unidentified flying object this week.

Gordon Burnell, 67, spotted the UFO hovering above his garden on April 15, on Marrion Road, when he was looking up at a buzzard. He believed the object to be heading east.

He said: “I was very shocked to see this cylinder shape just below the high clouds, it was not moving. It then seemed to rotate showing silver and black then stopped again, I watched this for some time just amazed at what I was seeing.

“I was on my own at the time, the object had no sound or trail smoke or lights, it flew off into the blue section of the sky and went so high, it vanished quite slow. Looking how high the object was I would say it must have been over 50 feet long.”

Police confirmed the reported sighting at 3.20pm and have passed on the information to the National Police Air Service.

This is not the first time Gordon has spotted unusual activity in the skies however. In 1968 he was visiting his friends in Higher Chisworth, near Glossop, Derbyshire, when two gold objects shot over the top of his car.

He said: “Two gold objects shot over the top of my car and stopped it dead, killing all the electrics and the radio. After they had passed my lights came back on but the radio never worked again. Boffins from Woodford air base checked the radio and said it had suffered a massive magnetic force.”

“BUFORA examiners came out to the site with special measuring equipment and estimated the objects were travelling at least 7,000 mph.

“A few seconds after my car was stopped a night watchman at a mill in Oldham, 5 miles away, was having a cig at the back of the mill where there was a confield that had been cut, and the chaff shot about 100ft in the air as the UFO’s flew past.”

Gordon has been in touch with BUFORA (British UFO Reasearch Agency) about his second sighting, who are going to examine the photographs with special equipment.

I just found the following report at NUFORC. For several years I have been reporting on ray-shaped objects (possibly cryptids) being seen throughout the United States. This report is very different…because of size and speed:

Large gray stingray shaped object chases fighter plane.

I was on the grocery store parking lot placing my groceries in the trunk. I heard a fighter plane type sound approaching us but didn’t see anything. About 3 seconds later I see a fighter plane coming from the west heading northeast. The fighter plane was traveling very low and very slow. If I had to guess I would say 2,000 feet in altitude. I told my son and my friend “look it’s a fighter plane”. We watched it for about 8 seconds as it flied by directly above us. Then a large gray object approached the fighter plane from the rear at a very fast speed. The object had no navigation lights like the fighter jet had. It only had 4 very dim bar lights between the main body and the wings. I thought it was going to crash into the fighter plane. It slowed down suddenly about 3 plane lengths away behind the fighter plane. It followed the plane for about 5 seconds. Then the object gained speed, made a hard right, and then a hard left, cutting off the fighter plane.

The object could be seen more clearly when it turned because it banked left. Then you could tell that the object was shaped like a stingray without a tail. It was gray and about 12 times larger than the fighter plane. 4 dim bar lights on each side where the wings joined the main body. The wings were not fixed. The wings rippled at opposite rhythm like a stingray. The object took off heading northwest very fast. The fighter plane gained speed and continued northeast. 2 seconds later another fighter plane coming from the west followed the path as the first plane but traveled at a faster speed.

NOTE: I’m not sure that this sighting is related to those objects I have been investigating…but it is surely an odd incident that needs to be noted. Lon

A COMMERCIAL pilot with more than 30 years' experience has been left scratching his head over mysterious lights he saw over Caloundra on Good Friday.

The pilot, who does not want to be identified, said he had never seen anything through the cockpit window that compared to the experience.

It has the self-confessed “world's greatest sceptic” questioning everything he believes about UFOs.

The Pelican Waters man was admiring the sky with friends about 8pm last Friday when they first saw two coloured lights in the sky.

He said they reminded him of Chinese lanterns, rising high into the sky and heading south and then east.

Then a third warm-orange glow appeared and suddenly changed direction, tracked north-east and quickly disappeared. “We were looking for an identifier; a beacon or strobe light but there wasn't any,” he said.

“I thought it had the characteristics of an object that could fly and I was curious as to what the lights were.”

Still not thinking "UFO", he grabbed his camera.

It was only when he downloaded the images onto his computer he was able to zoom in and see what appeared to be wing tips and the slight outline of an aircraft body.

"I was surprised ... with the clarity with the camera," he said.

"At first I was curious because it was moving so quickly, moving at a speed that I have never seen a lantern or something of that sort doing.

"When we zoomed in later we thought, 'Wow, that has a shape to it'."

While there were other planes and helicopters in the sky that night, he said none of them had the same flight pattern.

He is open to the possibility of it being a military operation, but he said he didn't think they resembled that type of aircraft either.

"I have heard of and seen many, many things in my career and have flown all over the world ... but nothing like this," he said.

"I think it is fascinating and if there is some credibility to it ... it has changed my mind that there could be something else out there."

The chunks that fell in Estancia San José “were recovered and made available to Diario El Heraldo in Concordia. We held in our hands one of the fragments of the flying object that crossed the airspace of General Campos on the morning of 21 December 1979. It is a metal plate 14 cm wide, 12 cm in diameter at its narrowest, and two millimeters thick. The edges are melted, as though burned by a welder’s torch.

The Testimony of Carlos Liebermann, Former Editor of El Heraldo

As contained in the library of El Heraldo newspaper, the late Carlos Liebermann, who was the newspaper’s editor at the time, agreed that “the metal was very hard, with burned edges, molten, and torn away by the explosion in some sections. The surface had slight traces of paint against atmospheric friction. There were also traces of rust. Our personal impression is that these are the remains of the heat shield of some satellite launching booster, although we always have the illusion that it could be a strange object. We could only recover this piece. The rest were discarded by farmhands.

Enrique O. Sdrech published an excellent article on the subject with photos by José Casal in Revista R2000 (3 January 1978), showing the parts before they were taken away by Air Force officers.

Liebermann contacted the Argentinean Air Force, and around the time, stirred the curiosity of Brigadier Gen. Rubens Omar Graffigna, who perhaps due to the importance of this General Campos case, may have promoted an area within the Comision Nacional de Investigaciones Espaciales (CNIE), an agency of the FAA.

The ufologist states that “the commission was entrusted to captains Carlos Augusto Lima and Elanio Rodriguez and operated until 1987. At the time, they decided to send an aeronautical engineer, Juan Jose Mañé, a member of the wind energy department, and 1st lieutenant Roberto Hugo Vazquez, chief of the electronics department of the CNIE, to collect the fragments from Liebermann. They made some brief statements, confirming that the metal did not come from an atmospheric balloon launched by the Air Force to conduct atmospheric studies, noting that it was a very hard alloy, resistant to high temperatures and to friction produced by contact with the atmosphere. Official sources suggested that these could be fragments of satellites in orbit around the planet, disintegrating upon completing their useful life.

Perez Simondini adds that the “officers did not allow themselves to be photographed, and after taking the fragment, nothing more was ever heard from them, much less about the reports with the results.” She explains, however, that they located engineer Mañé, who believes that “after 35 years, perhaps the truth will come to light. We will soon furnish details on this investigation. Having been part of the UFO division of the CNIE, an agency of the Argentine Air Force, we understand that a file on this event can become public knowledge.”

More Journalistic Reports

Siete Dias magazine contacted officers of the Argentine Air Force, who noted that the fragment, commonly known as the “manija de puerta” (doorhandle) was made of a very strong alloy resistant to atmospheric friction. They further added that the fragment did not form part of an airplane or weather balloon, although they did not explain what it was. A biochemist from the city of Concordia performed acid tests, confirming that these had no effect upon the metal.

Pérez Simondini opines that in cases such as this “the role played by the press is very important, since it not only reports, but also becomes a participant in discovering what it is all about. El Heraldo de Concordia was involved in this case, and it opened its doors to us to commence this investigation thanks to its current editor, Roberto Caminos, who has been following the work of Vision Ovni and the Museo del Ovni, aside from his own beliefs about the subject, but showing respect for the seriousness and professionalism with which we work.”

The researcher provided AIM a photo showing the moment in which Caminos gave them an original issue of El Heraldo’s publication, containing the facts. “Many other witnesses were located thanks to that article. We are pushing ahead with this investigation, searching for fragments that may still be in the hands of people who took part in collecting them.”

CEFORA’s director believes “this is a historical case, basically for the Province of Entre Rios, and was perhaps the push behind the creation of a UFO division within the Comision de Investigacioens Espaciales of the Argentinean Air Force. What we know for sure is that the matter was studied, investigated and analyzed by official authorities. Now we are looking for the file to request its declassification.”

Waaruit bestaat het universum? In het oude Griekenland speculeerden filosofen over atomen. Natuurkundigen hebben het vandaag de dag over kleinere deeltjes – quarks en elektronen, neutrino’s, Higgs Bosonen en fotonen. Aan de hand van deze deeltjes – en de krachten die alles bij elkaar houden – hopen wetenschappers te achterhalen hoe het universum precies in elkaar zit.

Hoe dieper we in de subatomische wereld duiken, hoe complexer alles wordt. Volgens een vooraanstaande theoretisch natuurkundige leven we mogelijk niet in een wereld van deeltjes en krachten, maar in een wereld van pure wiskunde. Max Tegmark van het Massachusetts Institute of Technology beweert dat getallen aan de basis staan van alle dingen om ons heen. Hij is de bedenker van de Mathematical Universe Hypothesis (MUH).

Tegmark en anderen geloven dat het universum veel grootser – en veel vreemder – is dan de wetenschap wil toegeven. “We hebben het niet over vage filosofische opmerkingen, maar over wiskundige theorieën,” zei hij. “Het is niet mijn taak om het universum te vertellen hoe het zich moet gedragen.”

Volgens de klassieke kosmologie leven we in een gigantische bol met een doorsnee van 90 miljard lichtjaar die oneindig uitdijt en ongeveer een half biljoen sterrenstelsels bevat. Deze bol valt in het niets bij het multiversum, een term die al enkele decennia bestaat, maar pas sinds kort aannemelijk wordt bevonden. Volgens aanhangers van deze hypothese moet er veel meer zijn dan we met onze telescopen kunnen waarnemen.

Bewijs voor het bestaan van het multiversum wordt gehaald uit waarnemingen. In 13,8 miljard jaar heeft de ruimte genoeg tijd gehad om zich in verschillende richtingen anders te ontwikkelen. Enorme clusters van sterrenstelsels in één gebied en grote leegtes in het andere. Maar dat is niet het geval.

Afgelopen maand kondigde een team wetenschappers op de Zuidpool aan dat hun telescoop, Bicep 2, zwaartekrachtsgolven had ontdekt, kolossale rimpelingen in de ruimtetijd. De vondst, die nog moet worden bevestigd, vormt sterk bewijs voor het bestaan van het multiversum.

Uit recente ontdekkingen blijkt dat de ruimte oneindig is ‘opgeblazen’, waardoor materie en ruimte in oneindige hoeveelheden zijn gecreëerd. Hoe verder je de ruimte ingaat, hoe vaker je ‘herhalingen’ ziet van de planeten, sterren en sterrenstelsels om ons heen, waaronder een andere aarde, een andere jij en werelden waar Elvis leeft of waar eenhoorns in de wei grazen.

Sommige natuurkundigen geloven dat inflatie zelfs continu plaatsvindt en dat er een oneindig aantal universa wordt gecreëerd in de vorm van ‘bellen’, waarvan ons universum er slechts één is. Volgens één interpretatie van de kwantummechanica veroorzaakt iedere ‘kwantumgebeurtenis’, zoals het radioactief verval van een atoom, een afsplitsing van een universum die in een nieuwe richting groeit.

Twee ‘hooggeplaatste ingewijden’ hebben mogelijk een tweetal mysteries rond de verdwijning van de Maleisische Boeing 777 opgelost: Waarom vloog het toestel plotseling een andere route? En waarom verdoezelen overheden de waarheid?

Matthias Chang, voormalig politiek secretaris van de Maleisische oud-premier Mahathir Mohamad, legde tijdens een radio-interview uit dat de verdwijning van het vliegtuig alleen kan worden verklaard door een kaping op afstand. Hij kreeg bijval van Gene Tatum, die als luchtmachtpiloot speciale missies uitvoerde voor Amerikaanse presidenten.

Chang zei dat de Maleisische overheid verzegeld bewijs heeft ontvangen van één of meerdere overheden over het lot van vlucht MH370. Maleisië mag het bewijs volgens Chang niet vrijgeven. Tatum legde uit dat de fly-by-wiretechnologie van de huidige generatie vliegtuigen extreem kwetsbaar is voor sabotage, waaronder kapingen met elektronische apparatuur. Hij noemde de zoektocht naar het vliegtuig een ‘rookgordijn’. “Ze houden de media bezig in de Indische Oceaan, zodat ze in andere gebieden rustig hun gang kunnen gaan. Als mensen weten dat een vliegtuig zo gemakkelijk kan worden gekaapt, zouden ze niet langer vliegen. Dat zou een enorme impact hebben op de economie.”

Tatum stelde dat een slimme tiener met een laptop en een mobiele telefoon gemakkelijk het fly-by-wiresysteem van een lijnvliegtuig kan hacken. In nieuwere toestellen zijn de kabels vervangen door computers die elektronische signalen versturen. Als Tatum gelijk heeft kunnen commerciële vluchten gemakkelijk van een afstand worden gekaapt.

Vanwege banden tussen het bedrijf en de CIA werd de naam in 2009 veranderd in Harbinger Group. Hoewel Harbinger in 2010 nog erg geïnteresseerd was in een overname, werd het belang in Inmarsat uiteindelijk verkocht.

Harbinger is nog wel eigenaar van LightSquared, een bedrijf dat in de Verenigde Staten een 4G mobiel breedbandnetwerk wil uitrollen en bovendien een nauwe samenwerking heeft met Inmarsat. Sinds 28 januari 2011 heeft Inmarsat honderden miljoenen ontvangen van LightSquared.

Toen Tatum in 1992 voor de CIA en het Amerikaanse leger werkte, kreeg hij naar eigen zeggen opdracht van de toenmalige president George H.W. Bush om diens politieke tegenstander Ross Perot te ‘neutraliseren’. Tatum weigerde en kon zijn carrière vaarwel zeggen. Hij besloot informatie over betrokkenheid van de CIA bij drugssmokkel naar buiten te brengen. Tatum publiceerde veel documenten over corruptie van Bush, de praktijken binnen de CIA en mind control.

April 22, 2014 - Grey aliens (also referred to as “Roswell Greys”, “Greys” or “Grays”) are alleged extraterrestrial beings whose existence is promoted in ufological, paranormal, and New Age communities, and who are named for their skin color.

Around half of all reported alien encounters in the United States describe Grey aliens. Such claims vary in every respect including their nature (ETs, extradimensionals, demons, or machines), origins, moral dispositions, intentions, and physical appearances (even varying in their eponymous skin color). A composite description derived from overlap in claims would have Greys as small-bodied sexless beings with smooth grey-colored skin, enlarged head and large black eyes. The origin of the idea of the Grey is commonly associated with the Betty and Barney Hill abduction claim, although skeptics see precursors in science fiction and earlier paranormal claims.

Greys are typically depicted as dark grey-skinned diminutive humanoid beings that possess reduced forms of, or completely lack, external human organs such as noses, ears or sex organs. Their bodies are usually depicted as being elongated, having a small chest, and lacking in muscular definition and visible skeletal structure. Their legs are shorter and jointed differently from what one would expect in a human. Their limbs are often depicted as proportionally different from a human’s; their humerus and thighs are the same lengths as their forearms and shins, respectively.

Greys are depicted as having unusually large heads in proportion to their bodies. They are depicted as having no hair anywhere on the body, including the face, and no noticeable outer ears or noses, but only small openings or orifices for ears and nostrils. They are depicted as having very small mouths, and very large opaque black eyes with no discernible iris or pupil. Sometimes Greys are depicted as having no noticeable nostrils or mouths. Also reports of alleged encounters state their height to be 2–4 ft tall

Greys are commonly included in alien abduction claims. Among reports of supposed alien encounters, Greys make up approximately 50 percent in Australia, 43 percent in the United States, 90 percent in Canada, 67 percent in Brazil, 20 percent in Continental Europe, and around 12 percent in the United Kingdom. These reports include two distinct groups of Greys that differ in height. Abductees say that they recognize the leader of their abductors by its “demeanor.” Some ufologists and abduction researchers believe that taller Greys, with their reported increased authority and apparently more complex psychology, may be the only Grey type to be biologically alive and that the shorter form could be their artificially constructed robot or cyborg servants

Some alien abduction reports have depicted variant skin colors such as blue-grey, green-grey, or purple-grey and sometimes not grey at all. The skin is typically described as being extremely smooth, almost as if made of an artificial material like rubber or plastic.
