Extraterrestrial Life Does Exist. Why Should They Be Hostile Towards Us?

When legendary broadcaster Orson Welles gave his suspenseful 1938 War of the Worlds radio broadcast, it caused a perhaps overblown but nonetheless real panic among Americans who mistook it for news reportage. And while “invaders from Mars” laying waste to the world now seems unlikely, scientists are worried that a similar broadcast in the future could be relating a real alien invasion — and not just one from across our porous southern border.

Astronomers have listened for signals from alien civilizations since 1960, when the Cornell University astronomer Frank Drake co-opted the national observatory at Green Bank, West Virginia, to launch Project Ozma. S.E.T.I Advocates are perhaps driven by frustration after 60 years of listening to the Cosmos and hearing nothing but cosmic crickets. But might our messages serve as a homing beacon for beings less like the cute E.T. and more akin to the rampaging aliens in Independence Day or Darth Vader and his Death Star? That’s the worry.

But is it a worry that is grounded in reality, no matter what Stephen Hawking might proclaim? It makes sense on some levels and then not on others. The only verifiable source of life which we have is our own bubble on Earth. So when reasoning by our own example…be afraid ….be very afraid.

Reason being is that life is very often hostile to other life. Look at the trials of life in nature and the trials of life in the newspapers. Mans inhumanity to man …. All Lives clearly do not matter.

Predators kill their prey. Many herbivores are highly aggressive and will attack and sometimes kill other animals (e.g. boars, hippopotamuses). Many animals fight, injure and potentially kill members of their own species (e.g. males fighting for mating rights). Chimpanzees go to war with other groups of chimpanzees. Anthills to go war with other anthills.

Look at humans. We are pretty damn hostile to other life – we’ve exterminated countless species, and other species we keep enslaved in conditions of horrendous suffering so that we can eat them (e.g. chickens, pigs).

This is not done out of deliberate malice. No one said: “Let’s go wipe out those damned dodos!” It is done out of convenience – an aggregate of small actions and in actions that each serves to make someone’s life nicer in the long or short run.

I saw a chart comparing species by the number of human deaths they’re responsible for in an average year. Sharks weighed in at the bottom of the list, with only 10 human casualties a year. Humans were about tied for first place with mosquitoes, each of them weighing in at close to a million. If you scoped a species like this flying around in the boundless expanse of the universe, wouldn’t your first impulse be to grab a can of Raid and let them have it?

But does it have to be that way?

What about the nature of any (hypothetical) extraterrestrial life? Does brawn win over brains? Does life take life all over the Universe?

Here are a few points to ponder:

1) One hypothesis points out that the incredible level of technology any space-faring species must have achieved indicates that it has successfully navigated its innate tendencies (if any) toward violence, evolving wisdom and social skills. A species like this would welcome with joy a new species — not kill it.

2) Another hypothesis points out that any extraterrestrial species is bound to be so different from us that we could never be able to achieve mutual understanding or even recognition. A species like this might be inimical to our interests — or even our survival — not because of hostility, but because of indifference or unawareness. They might exterminate us the way we blindly make other species extinct when they are under our radar. According to this theory, there is no special reason that they would consider humans (or any other earth species) as interesting — or even visible. In that case, they might bump us off accidentally while they used our atmosphere, for example, for some strange actions only they understand.

3) A third hypothesis suggests that the motives of an extraterrestrial species may be as alien to us as the motives of insects. They might ferociously pursue their horrifying goals of killing us for food or egg chambers or whatever. They may need all our organics, or all our females, or all our air or water. Or they may have inscrutable goals, but instantly fly into a screaming death attack — stopping at nothing, including machine gun fire — if, for example, we try to control the neat stacks of geometric prisms (which exude a deadly toxin) they are placing everywhere.

So extraterrestrial creatures may be benevolent, indifferent, or malevolent. On what basis can we make a prediction? On what evidence would we rely to assert a conclusion?

I can not provide any evidence but what I can provide is a point of view.

I am a firm believer that the more intelligent something is the more avenues, aspects, possibilities one can go through or mull over in any given situation. The smarter one is, the Universe becomes less and less black and white. Infinite shades of probability grey exist which are not available to creatures without advanced perceptions, advanced intelligence. The choice of violence and destruction is just one option in a ever increasing venue of options which is available for the advanced intellect. In that perspective I believe it will always be moreadvantageous to create then destroy. Advanced life will respect life in all its forms and handily work out any conflicts that may arise to create win-win scenarios. In the light of ever increasing accounts of UAP’s. This may be why we are still here and pondering such a question.

YOU must note that I am NOT referring to Humans, I am referring to INTELLIGENT life in the Universe.

We are not it. We have only been out of the proverbial caves for the most fleeting instant of cosmic deep time.

But who knows, I always reserve the right to be wrong…

If an alien species invades Earth and destroys or enslaves humanity, it will most likely not be out of malice but out of convenience. Grand Admiral Gorignax does not hate humans, but he reallywants that third conquest medal. His brother-in-law already has three conquest medals, and Mrs. Gorignax has been nagging him about it to no end. You don’t want little Gorignax Junior to go through the horrors of a divorce and custody battle, do you? I’m sorry, but in order to preserve this family, those humans will have to go.

The actual way that the universe works is the same everywhere, however, every intelligent life form will have a different understanding of it. Not only have our laws of physics changed over time, even today, different people have different interpretations of how things work. The more advanced a civilization becomes the closer their model of reality will match the actual universe.

While eventually any two independently developed set of laws of physics should converge, Their current similarity will depend both on how different they were to start with and how much progress has been made.

We don’t understand how gravity works. We understand the effects. It is an attractive force in three dimensions. The ‘fabric’ analogy is a tool to help us visualize what is happening. Space-Time is not real. It is a tool to help us figure out reality. We say gravity bends space time because we can understand that. In reality, nothing is bent, there is no ‘fabric’, and so far as we have discovered, there is no actual entity that we call ‘time.’ Time is another tool we use to help us figure out our reality and what is happening in our reality. Neither the time particle/wave nor the gravity particle/wave has been confirmed. It has been recently glimpsed but that is notconfirmation. Only the effects have been seen or discovered. Like a shadow, when we see it, we know that there is something blocking the light, but in the cases of time and gravity, when we look, we can not find the actual entity that is causing the effect.

Gravity control and inertia suggest that they might posses some form of reactionless drive. A reactionless drive is a device to generate motion without a propellant, presumably incontradiction to the law of conservation of momentum. The name comes from Newton’s third law, which is usually expressed as, “for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” A large number of infeasible devices, such as the “Dean drive”, are a staple of science fiction, particularly for space propulsion. To date, no reactionless drive has ever been validated under properly controlled conditions. Since we do not have theory of quantum gravity it might be possible to construct such drive by an advanced intergalactic intelligence.

Since such feats would require lot of understanding of basic physical laws we can assume that any race with such capability have quantum theory of gravity and can exploit it to practical gains.

Having control over gravity permits interesting industrial processes to become possible. Assuming that one have not limitation over it one can imagine that the aliens could create what is essentially a “matter furnace” using gravity to create something like accretion disk allowing conversion matter to energy – far safer than antimatter power.

To be a master of gravity means you are a master of time as well. Times fiery arrow relentless chugging forward can be stopped in it’s tracks. Time would be putty in the hands of these advanced intelligence’s. They could stop time, stretch it and make it their plaything. They may not age and they may be timeless.

To control gravity is to control the Universe at a level at this time we can only dream of. It brings sources of propulsion and energy that would appear as magic to us hairless apes.

The Fermi paradox asks “if there are other advanced alien species, why haven’t we detected them?”. If you delve into this topic you will find a whole lot of utter nonsense written about Kardashev scales, Von Neumann probes and Dyson spheres as if those were even a thing.

Here’s the deal … Space is a really big place. Really really gi-friggin-normously big! One Light-year is $9.46 \times {10^}^{15} m$ . Let’s call it 10,000,000,000,000 (10 trillion) km give or take.

The first part of the paradox is “why haven’t we heard from them?”

We can only observe objects at interstellar distances by measuring their light and radio emissions, i.e. electromagnetic radiation. EM radiation spreads out in spherically expanding waves, so the Inverse-square law predicts that EM intensity declines with the square of the distance from the source.

If we plug in some numbers we can see that in standard MKS units, if our hypothetical alienbuddies orbiting Proxima broadcast a signal of $1 w / m^{2}$ toward us here on Earth it would decline to only $0.5 \times {10^-}^{34} w / m^{2}$ by the time it got here. We can multiply that by any output level we like to get the potential intensity of EM at that distance. For reference, the intensity of theCosmic microwave background radiation is about $3.7 \times {10^}^{- 18} w / m^{2}$ .

There are clever tricks that radio astronomers can use with arrays of receivers and by focusing on areas of the radio frequency spectrum that aren’t “naturally occurring”, but even so our alien civilization’s total output would be roughly 13-16 orders of magnitude below the cosmic microwave background. It’s likely none of their signal would be recoverable with our current technology. It is argued that ETs would be blasting a much more powerful signal our way. Perhaps they are, but even if they are shooting megawatts our way, it’s still going to be many orders below the cosmic microwave background when it gets here.

And why would they want to shout at us like that anyway? Here on Earth, there is no need to “shout”. Most of our terrestrial communicationsis broadcast within the atmosphere at signal strengths in the single digit integer watt range (there are spectacular exceptions like the Taldom transmitter in Russia). Very little of our radio noise leaks to space because it is intended for communication on Earth. It’s a safe bet the aliens would also use moderate to low power communications as well – if they even use EM at all. So even if they are “close” we probably wouldn’t notice.

The second part of the paradox is “why haven’t they visited us yet?”

Everywhere looks just like everywhere else in space. We have a hard time even detecting the existence of (Earth-sized) planets in the Goldilocks zone about nearby stars. Our smarter cousins may be better at it than us, but they suffer from the same tyranny of distance. Relativity dictates that nothing physical can travel at (or realistically, even close to) the speed of light. There may not be any aliens zipping along in starships.

At the kinds of speeds we can reach now (0.00023c) any star is more than ten thousand years away from us. If we could go a hundred times faster (say 0.01c), a trip to the Alpha Centauri group is 400-800 years (optimistically) because we have to accelerate and decelerate at the other end. Our ETs have the same physics we do and have to overcome the same limits. They might travel at higher speeds, but unless they are vastly more long lived than we are, they simply won’t survive the trip. But at 0.1c they might be in the ballpark.

Here is another take on this apparent paradox…

Lets imagine that the chance of self-destruction for an advanced civilization is ~100% before they become capable of roaming the universe.

Here are some of the common musings which I think are wrong.

1) The Universe Is A Big Place

That doesn’t work. Whatever method we apply to compute how many life-friendly planets are out there, we always arrive at ridiculously large numbers. Considering time + statistics, that means many alien civilizations should exist right now that are highly evolved. If we take the human progress trajectory into the next 1000 years, it’s obvious that we will find ways to bridge very large distances quickly (much faster than light).

There would be tremendously powerful technology, and the first thing you do with this technology is to search for life. Even we with super-primitive tech know how to search for life (but we are lacking the hardware for expeditions).

2) Advanced Cultures Will Turn Inside, Not Outside

Unlikely. Whatever species wins the millions of years of selection will be expansive and aggressive by nature. This is not going away, ever, because that’s who we (and they) are – because if we wouldn’t, we wouldn’t exist.

The assumptions that advanced civilizations will remove the very core that defines who they are is flawed, people (and aliens) don’t do this. In fact, a conscious mind is very likely to be incapable of removing itself. Statistics and tech trajectories simply can’t explain why the universe isn’t humming with high tech aliens.

Unless we turn our attention to certain inevitable dynamics inside these civilizations. The chance an advanced civilization self-destructs before it reaches universe roaming capability approximates 100%. I call it the self-destruction paradigm.

Here is my reasoning and some number games:

Let’s safely assume that every alien high tech civilization reaches a point where it can easily self-destruct. Humanity reached that point in the 20th century. And it’s getting exponentially worse with every day.

Let’s define self-destruction as a civilizational regression back to a point where high tech space travel becomes difficult – a major set back in terms of science, culture and technology. Like a nuclear war, artificial intelligence nightmare or disintegration of the planetary ecosystem.

Let’s also assume that with increasing technology, the number of people needed to initiate self-destruction becomes exponentially smaller: in 1950, you needed one of 2 major countries to initiate human self destruction. Today, you need not more than a network of 100, maybe 1000 bad guys who hack their way towards a few dozen nukes. In the close future, one hacker who creates a self-conscious, evil artificial intelligence. In his basement might be enough.

Now, let’s consider the time between the point at that a civilization reaches self-destructioncapability, and the point at that it could freely roam and screen the universe for alien life.

It’s very hard to exactly estimate this timeline, but it will be quite significant. Let’s say 10,000 years, assuming truly exponential technology growth.

Now, what are the odds that the civilization will self-destruct within this timeline?

Pretty quickly (given exponential scales), a very small number of people – maybe every single member – of the civilization will have the power to destroy the civilization. To make things easier to compute, let’s assume it’s in average 100 hundred people who have to collude to self-destruct. We can also safely assume perfect connectivity between all members, except for the very first decades.

Let’s also assume, based on humanity, an average population of 100 billion people (we are already at 7 billion, so 100 billion average over the next 10,000 years is quite low).

This means all it takes is 100 people out of 100 billion to collude to self-destruct the civilization – and it only has to happen once during these 10,000 years. Let’s assume it takes one month for the evil group to plot and execute the self-destruction (also very lenient given that most of the time they will have super-artificial intelligence at their disposal).

That’s right: you have to make sure continuously over 10,000 x 12 months = 120,000 months that no group of 100 out of 100 billion people decides to go wild, ever.

It’s also pretty safe to assume that there is no security system in the world to prevent them from doing it, since this level of control is hard to imagine. Maybe there are some safety measures in place to screen for deviants, but at this scale, it’s a problem.

So basically this civilization must reach a level of wisdom, foresight and absolutely flawless caring-for-each-other system that out of 100 billion, there will never be 100 people who are pissed or crazy enough to destroy the civilization.

It might be possible to build a wisdom infrastructure like this, but it’s a herculean task.

And I think that all advanced alien civilizations so far have failed to achieve it.

Humanity is utterly unprepared to live up to this task. Fortunately, it will take another 100 or so years before we reach levels of easy universally accessible self-destruction capability. Unfortunately, 100 years is not a lot of time to invent a new wisdom infrastructure that ensures not a single member of the human race has a reason to go crazy.

You can think about the self-destruction paradigm both theoretically / mathematically and from a concrete threat assessment perspective. Combine exponential biotech, physics engineering, AI and software with terrorism and plot it on a 30 year trajectory from today, and you already get a feeling of the problem. Now do it over the next 100 years, and the problem becomes an existential, high-probability threat.

As I eluded to before – self-destruction doesn’t always mean total annihilation.

But if you get set back 10% of the total every 100 years, you can’t go beyond 1000 years of advancement. And you will never roam the universe freely and scan for aliens everywhere, even though it’s so close on your tech trajectory.

I don’t think the “paradox” is a paradox at all. It is based on wildly optimistic assumptions about the ease of detection of alien signals. SETI has been processing radio-telescope data for decades without a single result. We have reasonable lower bounds for the distance to possible civilizations that are most likely 2-10 times as far as Proxima. There’s no reason at all to believe alien civilizations are just dying to get here and meet us.

No, it’s not YET ANOTHER conspiracy theory, Armageddon propaganda or end-of-the-world story, but it seems that NASA is worried about the 500-meter Asteroid which is why the Space Agency will send a probe to visit the potential Armageddon asteroid and study it in detail.

If the Asteroid impacts Earth, it would be similar to setting off 3 BILLION tons of explosive.

An asteroid named Bennu which can be seen from Earth as it crosses our orbit every six years could potentially cause ‘Immense Suffering And Death’, and NASA is planning to build a space probe in order to collect rock samples from the Asteroid in fears it may collide with our planet.

The asteroid which is around 500 meters in diameters and traveling around the sun at 63,000 miles-per-hor will pass between the Earth and the moon in the year 2135.

“That 2135 fly-by is going to tweak Bennu’s orbit, potentially putting it on course for the Earth later that century,” Dante Lauretta, professor of planetary science at Arizona University, told The Sunday Times

“It may be destined to cause immense suffering and death,” he added.

While researchers will have a hard time prediction how close the approach of the asteroid between the Earth and the moon will be and how much its orbit will be affected by the fly-by near Earth, Lauretta estimates that it COULD SHIFT the asteroid onto a COLLISION course with Earth.

‘We estimate the chance of impact at about one in 2,700 between 2175 and 2196,’ said Dante Lauretta.

The OSRIS-Rex space probe is set to launch in September and land on the asteroid in 2018. According to researchers, it will spend one year on the surface of Bennu, and it will collect samples of rock before heading back to Earth in 2023.

If the Asteroid impacts Earth, it would be similar to setting off 3 BILLION tons of explosive.

If the mission goes through successfully, it will be the FIRST to visit an asteroid and return with samples to Earth.

According to Lauretta, samples from the asteroid could provide ‘vital data for future generations’.

In order to pick up a sample and head back to Earth, the spacecraft will ‘hover’ over a targeted area where it will lower itself at 10 centimeters per second and will remain in touch with the surface for only five seconds, while it vacuums the target area collecting samples from the asteroid.

Scientists will take advantage of the asteroid-visiting mission and study the building blocks of life by researching the minerals located beneath the surface of Bennu.

Hopefully, this isn’t anywhere similar to the story of the movie Armageddon, but if it is, will someone please gather the boys and girls from the film and give Bruce Willis a call?

A story is circulating around the Internet that suggests Russia has known about alien civilizations for many decades.

Part of this fantastic tale involves a UFO that allegedly crashed in 1969, was recovered by Russian military (see image below) and a dead alien that was reportedly autopsied, according to TheVoiceofRussia.com.

If this scenario sounds familiar, it’s probably because of the most fabled and legendary story involving an alleged crashed UFO and the subsequent autopsy of its alien crew: Roswell, N.M., where those events supposedly occurred in 1947.

Despite official explanations that it was a secret military spy balloon that came down in New Mexico, the Roswell crash has kept the public enthralled for decades.

Not to be outdone, the nearly identical story emerged from the Soviet Union about an unknown craft that crashed near the former district of Sverdlovsk in 1969.

Maybe it’s just easier to pronounce Roswell vs. Sverdlovsk.

But before we get all excited about the Soviet UFO-autopsy story, it should be pointed out that it’s not new. The twist in this storyline is why the Russian event is suddenly getting more media attention than it has in the past.

This entire alleged incident was actually reported on a 1998 TNT special, “The Secret KGB UFO Files,” and hosted by former James Bond actor Roger Moore. The program showed startling filmed segments of the alleged UFO crash — as well as several minutes of the supposed autopsy of the dead alien.

Most serious UFO researchers consider this story to be a complete hoax.

In his 1998 review of “The Secret KGB UFO Files,” NBC News space consultant, former rocket scientist and UFO skeptic James Oberg pointed out how a disclaimer at the beginning of the program said: “What you are about to see may or may not be true.”

“And at the end,” Oberg writes, “two screens full of warning messages were even more to the point. One paragraph read: ‘The Producers disclaim and do not guarantee the accuracy or truthfulness [of] any of the documentation or materials that have been provided by any source … The materials and opinion presented on this program, including documents, film, photo, or video footage come from the sources and are not the responsibility of the Producers.’

“They couldn’t have been more explicit in their announcement that the whole series of episodes about the recovery of a crashed flying saucer in 1969 near Sverdlovsk, and a subsequent autopsy … was a made-up story with posed footage,” Oberg wrote.

If, indeed, this was all a staged hoax, why would The Voice of Russia — which currently broadcasts to 109 million listeners in 160 countries and is considered one of the top five radio broadcasters in the world — suddenly circulate this story again now?

The Voice of Russia also includes references to unconfirmed reports that a UFO crashed or was shot down near the city of Prohlandnyi, in the USSR on Aug. 10, 1989. Like the previous story, this one included alleged alien bodies.

Those aren’t the only dubious stories involving UFOs and aliens to originate in Russia without any major media fanfare in the U.S. or anywhere else.

Earlier this year, the Russian Internet newspaper, Pravda.ru, suggested that a group of scientists had been in contact with extraterrestrials.

According to Pravda, a retired Ministry of Defense official, Alexey Savin, revealed to journalists that “in the late 1980s, a group of researchers from the Expert Management Unit of General Staff managed to make a contact with representatives of another civilization.”

The Pravda story reported how the Ministry of Defense, in the mid 1980s, “organized a large-scale study of paranormal phenomena. The military training site was not a random choice. Experts have long come to the conclusion that UFOs inevitably appear in places where military equipment and weapons are tested.”

Vasily Yeremenko, a member of the Academy of Security, Defense and Law Enforcement — and formerly with the Soviet Union’s security agency, the KGB — was quoted by Pravda as saying that “the UFO topic today is ubiquitous. Precisely because of its scandalous nature, serious scientists are not willing to identify their position on this issue.”

Aside from the question of why the 1969 crashed UFO-ET autopsy is making the rounds again, is it a surprise that mainstream U.S. media hasn’t paid more attention to these stories over the years?

It is one of the most incredible things you will probably read for years. The Chronicles of the Future tell the bizarre, incredible and “controversial” experience of Amadeus Dienach Paul, who lived at the beginning of last century in Central Europe. Due to a serious illness, the author was in a coma for a whole year, during which he claims his conscience traveled to the future and entered a different body, allowing him to interact with people of that distant era. Even though this might sound extremely bizarre and many will consider these the texts as a “cheap shot”, Dienach writings about the future have been taken very seriously by certain organizations around the world. Some of those are believed to be the Masons. There are many books that contain alleged prophecies and futuristic visions, but none of those come close to the strange circumstances surrounding the experience of Dienach. Furthermore, only a handful of selected individuals have had the privilege of reading these stories; in fact, there are only few printed copies published in Greece.

In 1921, Dienach fell victim to a sleeping sickness, and, as a result of the disease fell into a coma and remained in that state an entire year in the hospital of Geneva. When he woke, he recorded in his diary that he was awake and alert all the time, but not in the year or the place where his body was.

According to the diary of Dienach, his consciousness had traveled into the body of another man called Andrew Northman, and the year was 3906 AD.

According to Dienach, people noticed that in the year 3906 a different consciousness had conquered the body of Andrew Northman, so they decided to show and explain everything about that era, as well as exactly what happened from the twenty-first century until the beginnings of the fortieth century. They understood through what Dienach was going through.

In the future, people mentioned that a new species of humans called Homo Novus Occidantalis were created, these are the next step in evolution, and a lot of incredible things have happened.

For fear of being treated crazy or exposed to ridicule, both personally and professionally, Dienach did not tell his story to anyone but that changed when he moved to Greece.

So how did the story of Dienach end up being told?

At the age of 36, with a very poor health after recovering from coma, Dienach moved to Greece in the fall of 1922, as a gentler and more mediterranean climate would certainly improve his quality of life. Once there, he took the opportunity to practice and teach in a German university. It was there that he met the student George Papahatzis, who later became the vice president of the National Council of Greece, a founding member of the Philosophical Society, and senior Mason.

After two years, his health had deteriorated once again and Dienach decided to move again, this time to Italy. Before leaving, Dienach confided to his favorite student, Papahatzis, a briefcase full of notes, urging him to read in the future. In 1924 Dienach died of tuberculosis.

George Papahatzis translated Dienach notes gradually over a period of 14 years, from 1926 to 1940. Initially he thought his teacher had written a strange novel, but as Papahatzis ead more and more, he realized that what he was translating were the very memories of his teacher.

World War II and the subsequent civil war in the Hellenic country, made Papahatzis temporarily abandon translations of the notes. Subsequently, in the period from 1952-1966, he tried to track down the relatives of his deceased teacher, even traveling to Zürich on twelve occasions.

Once the translation of the incredibly story of Dienach was complete, Papahatzis shared the notes with a closed circle of fellow Masons. The writings were seized by the secret society as critical to the future of mankind and, among insiders, Dienach received the title of prophet of modern times.

The notes of Dienach were available in philosophical circles of Freemasonry, which believed that such information should not be visible to an audience that would not be prepared to handle it. Papahatzis strongly disagreed and published the diary of Dienach which caused him countless problems. He lost his job, was accused of heresy by the Church, and most copies of the book disappeared quickly. In 1979, when Greece was moving onto democracy Papahatzis decided to try again but with similar results.

The Chronicles of the future will probably, one day, become the ideal script for a Hollywood movie that many of us would love to see in theaters. The incredible stories and information contained inside the “diary” of Dienach, if true, will change history of mankind as we see it, the question is, will this diary, which was never intended to become a book, come to its “unintended” audience across the world.

The following three examples are given to the reader to underline the fact that in certain circles, the subject of UFOs and Alien Life Forms is regarded with something bordering dread and in some cases outright fear and loathing. I had gotten to know the Force Science Advisor at COMNAVAIRPAC (Commander Naval Air Forces Pacific Fleet) based at Naval Air Station North Island(NASNI) in San Diego California. The Science Advisor needed me to cull unwanted incoming message traffic from his office code.

He and I were walking along inside the base and having a chat. He made reference to “Blue Sky Projects” at DARPA (Defense Advance Research Projects Agency) and in response I blurted out “Oh, like Field Propulsion, Anti-Gravity and Electro-gravitics?” In response he said, “you mean like FLYING SAUCERS?” Without missing a beat, I said “Yes like Flying Saucers.” He hesitated a moment and then said…”Yes, I’ve spoken to a lot of PILOTS ABOUT THEIR FLYING SAUCER SIGHTINGS.”

He was pulling away. So I let the matter drop. I wasn’t so much interested in Flying Saucer Reports from Military Pilots as I was in finding out what the Force Science Advisor had heard on the grapevine about the back engineering of Alien Technology and the creation of entire fleets of advanced craft which created their own gravitational fields. I didn’t think he would tell me even if he knew but it was worth a shot.

On another occasion I was in Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix Arizona waiting to catch my flight back to San Diego. I was at the Departure Gate. I got to talking to the guy standing in line in front of me. It turned out the guy was a retired test pilot for an aerospace firm and had served in the Guadalcanal Campaign in the Solomon Islands during World War 2. Being somewhat familiar with that campaign I asked him questions about the various air, sea and naval battles in and around Guadalcanal. I can tell he was really enjoying our conversation. He reminisced about “The Night” when two Japanese battleships shelled Henderson Field. Before too long the P.A. announced Final Boarding for our flight so I decided to ask him a roundabout question regarding UFOs. I asked him “did you or anyone you know see any FOO FIGHTERS?” His expression and demeanor immediately changed. Whereas a moment before, he was enjoying our chat and reminiscing about his experiences on Guadalcanal now he didn’t want anything to do with me. He replied “NO” and then turned around and stood with his back to me. End of conversation.

Foo Fighters was the term American pilots and aircrew used to describe the glowing orbs and balls of light that seemed to follow and pace aircraft from all the warring nations during World War 2. Foo Fighters was a term that stuck. Note that the term “UFO” was never mentioned in the brief conversation I had with this guy. Yet the moment I mentioned Foo Fighters his demeanor abruptly changed and I definitely detected fear in the guy. Since he was a former test pilot and may or may not have retained his security clearances and may have been receiving a pension, I can understand his reluctance to discuss such matters. So this guy who has no qualms about pushing an aircraft to the limits of its performance envelope and survived a night when he was being shelled by Japanese Battleships, becomes frightened at the mere hint of “Foo Fighters.”

When I worked in the telecommunications industry I headed up a small “Major Accounts Department.” I reported to a supervisor but since my supervisor was usually out of commission with fierce migraines and often absent, I was for a time the acting supervisor. Our clients were State, Local and Federal Agencies as well as very large corporations. One of the newer members of our team had recently transferred to our department from the main Call Centre. It turned out this guy was an ex u.s. Marine Aviator who flew the Marine Harrier “Jump Jets” out of Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma in Western Arizona and was hoping to catch on with one of the aviation firms which specialized in transporting cargo. (Many former military pilots hope to land a job flying with the passenger airlines or the cargo airlines after their military careers are over.) Meanwhile he was biding his time doing customer service work in this telecom firm.

On one occasion this ex marine pilot overheard myself and a couple of other members of our department talking about UFOs and Flying Saucers. Seated just a few feet away from me, this ex marine stated, “Don’t include me in this conversation. I don’t want to know. I SIGNED A NON-DISCLOSURE STATEMENT.” So I respected his request and did not ask him to share any stories he may have heard or personally witnessed regarding UFOs during his stint as a u.s. Marine Corps Harrier pilot. I could tell by his facial expression, demeanor and body language that the subject matter of UFOs was causing him some degree of emotional distress.

Why such FEAR if UFOs are not supposed to exist? Note the Force Science Advisor in the first story related above…he openly admitted that he had spoken to a number of military pilots who had seen Flying Saucers (and probably UFOs of various shapes and sizes.) He didn’t mind talking about UFOs if we just discussed pilot sightings but that wasn’t what I was after. I have spoken to former airline pilots, former fighter pilots, former policemen, former military personnel and people from all walks of life both civilian and military who had seen UFOs or had encounters with non-human life forms. The subject of UFOs and Alien Life Forms is STILL the most highly classified subject in the world, the efforts of the so-called “Disclosure Movement” notwithstanding. There has been an ongoing debunking and ridiculing program regarding the existence of UFOs and Aliens since January 1953 at the behest of the CIA. The latter has shaped public perception about the subject of UFOs and Aliens to an extraordinary degree especially among those who are content with letting others do their thinking for them. However, as noted above, there are many people throughout society who know that Alien Space Craft exist. They just don’t want to talk about it.

Volgens een nieuwe studie zijn zwarte gaten deuren naar andere delen van het universum. Voorheen dachten wetenschappers dat alle materie in een zwart gat wordt vernietigd, maar het nieuwe onderzoek suggereert dat zo’n gat fungeert als een doorgang of een tunnel.

Een zwart gat is een gebied waar materie is samengedrukt en ineengestort. Deze rampzalige instorting zorgt ervoor dat er een enorme hoeveelheid massa in een ongelooflijk klein gebied wordt geconcentreerd.

De nieuwe theorie verwerpt het idee dat alle materie in een zwart gat opgehoopt zit in één punt in het centrum, een zogenoemde singulariteit, en dat alle materie is vernietigd.

Wormgat

De wetenschappers stellen dat het hart van een zwart gat werkt als een ‘wormgat’, een doorgang of tunnel door de ruimtetijd zoals je die in talloze sci-fi films ziet. In de film Interstellar reist een team astronauten door een wormgat om te speuren naar een nieuwe thuisplaneet voor de mensheid.

Het wormgat is volgens de onderzoekers kleiner dan een atoomkern, maar wordt groter naarmate meer elektrische lading wordt opgeslagen in het zwarte gat. Iemand die in het zwarte gat terecht zou komen, zou worden uitgerekt tot een spaghettisliert.

Exotische materie

Volgens Albert Einsteins zwaartekrachttheorie kan een wormgat alleen ontstaan in de aanwezigheid van materie met zeer ongewone eigenschappen, ‘exotische materie’ die nog nooit is waargenomen. “Maar in ons model ontstaat het wormgat uit gewone materie en energie, zoals een elektrisch veld,” zei hoofdonderzoeker Gonzalo Olmo van de Universiteit van Valencia.

Het onderzoek is verschenen in het tijdschrift Classical and Quantum Gravity.

This UFO is a metallic grey orb. The UFO is very big, car size when compared to the arch under it. The UFO does not look like its flashing light, but I believe one surface of the UFO is dull grey metallic in nature from what I see in the close ups I made. Its shape is perfectly round. A strange light that hovered over the St. Louis Gateway Arch this week is sparking plenty of debate on the internet.

Surveillance footage recorded at Malcolm W Martin Memorial Park on Tuesday and posted to Facebook shows the mysterious object hovering over the famous arch. “We guarantee you will be perplexed if you watch all 5 minutes of this surveillance footage!” explained the Park, in a post on its Facebook page. The video has been viewed 615,000 times.

Possible explanations for the light suggested by commenters on Facebook include a drone with a unidirectional light or a Chinese lantern.

Fox 2 News also received video footage of the odd light from Chase Rhoads, who said that he saw something strange over the arch early Tuesday morning. Scott Air Force Base said there was nothing out of the ordinary to report when contacted by Fox 2 News, and a spokesman for the National Park Service said there were no reports of anything strange on Tuesday.

This is not the first time that a mysterious object has been spotted near the St. Louis landmark. Video from the same camera at Malcolm W. Martin Memorial Park also captured an unexplained object that appeared in broad daylight on July 14 2016.

Mexico is notorious for its UFO sightings, maybe because they are so close to the ocean where underwater bases existed for thousands of years, or maybe because of all the bases below the volcanos for thousands of years. I believe the ancient Mayans and Aztecs are descendants of one of these alien species that lives in this region.

Conspiracy theory on the death of UFO researchers has surfaced after a second person of their field died this month. Paranormal investigator Max Spiers, who had claimed he once took part of a secret government project called supersoldier, was found dead this month in Poland.

Some believe that the investigator was murdered, but the official cause of death has yet to be released.

On Wednesday, news of the passing of fellow UFO researcher Gaurav Tiwari made headlines on several websites. Tiwari was discovered without life in India under an alleged mysterious circumstances. However, in a statement by the authorities, he committed suicide.

Conspiracy theorists have long been suggested that secret services or known as men in black block off UFO chasers who nearly get close to the truth.

Men in Black is allegedly a group of undercover agents in dark glasses and black suits, working under the directive of FBI and CIA. One of their missions is apparently to force witnesses of UFO and alien phenomena not to say something to prevent the truth about space alien visitations to Earth from getting out to the public.

Governments, according to the conspiracy theory, are worried of the truth to be made known to the masses that we are not alone because of the negative impact it may bring to religion and the rule of law.

Last month, there were speculations that a NASA scientist may have been silenced after she was found dead at the back of a shopping mall.

Massive, luminous UFO was seen traveling above Russia and gliding low over a Siberian field. The ball of light amazed and at the same time scared locals who witnessed the rare phenomenon.

The shaky footage of the apparent UFO seems to show a glowing object going towards the camera, before turning off into trees close to Siberia’s largest city, Novosibirsk.

However, Russian experts believe it could be ball lightning, which usually associated with thunderstorms. Ball lightning could last longer than the usual split-second flash. It has been reported to appear as a glow during thunderstorms, ranging from a golf ball size to several meters across. Nevertheless, scientists admitted that they still did not fully understood the atmospheric electrical phenomenon.

There have been reports that a ball lightning injured or even killed people and destroyed buildings. It was only widely known to exist in the 1960s, but until today, researchers could not be sure of the cause of the phenomena.

In August 2013, U.S. Air Force Academy researchers in Colorado tried to make and photograph bright white plasmoid balls in their lab to understand ball lightning better. Generated from high-power electric sparks and discharged by electrodes, the balls were submerged in electrolyte solutions. The researchers found elements in the local soil from the balls, including silicon, iron, and calcium. But the researchers were not certain if they had created the ball lightning in their study.

Great wartime prime minister of Britain ordered a special team of Whitehall mandarins known as the Flying Saucer Working Party to know the truth of the increasing number of UFO sightings.
The personal bodyguard of Sir Winston Churchill had made a deathbed confession that his boss covered-up a close encounter over Britain with RAF itself.

RAF pilots began reported encounters with an unknown aerial object called foo fighters towards the end of World War 2. Officials thought they were German secret weapons, but the number of sightings even increased after the end of the war.

In July 1952, US Air Force radar detected various unidentified objects flying in a restricted zone above the White House and fighter jets had to be scrambled on two consecutive weekends, causing public panic.

Churchill then sent a memo to his Secretary of State for Air Lord Cherwell requesting an immediate investigation.

A confidante and close friend of the PM, Lord Cherwell, assigned the probe to the Flying Saucer Working Party.

The top secret group was formed two years earlier to investigate UFO sightings. Investigators concluded that though it was impossible to rule out the extraterrestrial involvement of sightings of the unknown aerial object, it was more likely down to terrestrial aircraft, birds, balloons, or other natural phenomena. The group also said that it could even be just optical illusions, psychological delusions, or deliberate hoaxes. That seemed to lay down the subject of extraterrestrial UFO to rest.

However, in 1999, the MoD received a letter from the grandson of a retired RAF officer inquiring on an incident wherein Churchill allegedly prevented the reporting of an unidentified flying object encounter off the east coast of England.

The unnamed officer was the personal bodyguard of Churchill. He claimed that a metallic UFO shadowed a RAF reconnaissance plane off Cumbria from a mission over occupied Europe.

The crew allegedly captured pictures of the mysterious aerial object, which they claimed hovered without noise close to the plane. When Churchill knew about the close encounter, he apparently ordered the incident to stay classified for at least 50 years and should only be released after being reviewed by a future PM. Churchill was allegedly concerned about a mass panic and impact of faith in God.

Mysteriously, all records of the incident, including the cover-up order by Churchill, apparently disappeared. MoD has claimed that all UFO files before 1967 have been destroyed.
However, UFO hunters and conspiracy theorists suggest the British Establishment has been hiding proof of alien visits to Earth.

Nieuw onderzoek suggereert dat het veel aannemelijker zou zijn geweest als het leven heel veel later was ontstaan.

Het universum is grofweg 13,8 miljard jaar oud. Onze planeet is veel jonger: deze ontstond pas 4,5 miljard jaar geleden. En vervolgens duurde het weer een tijdje voor er op de aarde leven ontstond. Je zou dan ook – met de lange geschiedenis van het universum in gedachten – kunnen concluderen dat het leven op aarde vrij laat is ontstaan. En dat het aannemelijk is dat het leven op andere – oudere – planeten al veel eerder ontstond. Sommige onderzoekers gaan daar inderdaad vanuit: ze achten het aannemelijk dat eventueel leven op andere planeten miljarden jaren ouder is dan het leven op aarde. Maar is dat wel zo? Een nieuw onderzoek trekt die conclusie ernstig in twijfel en suggereert zelfs dat het leven op aarde prematuur is: het zou veel aannemelijker zijn geweest als het vele malen later was ontstaan.

Het onderzoek
Het leven – zoals wij dat kennen – werd ongeveer 30 miljoen jaar na de oerknal in theorie al mogelijk. De eerste sterren voorzagen de kosmos toen van de noodzakelijke elementen: koolstof en zuurstof. Over ongeveer tien biljoen jaar zullen de laatste sterren sterven en behoort leven in de kosmos niet langer tot de mogelijkheden. Wetenschappers hebben nu gekeken hoe waarschijnlijk het is dat leven tussen die twee punten – 30 miljoen jaar na de oerknal en tien biljoen jaar na het heden – ontstaat.

Kans op leven groeit
En wat blijkt? De kans dat leven ontstaat is vandaag de dag veel groter dan in de tijd dat het leven op aarde ontstond. En die kans groeit met de dag. In andere woorden: het leven op aarde is wellicht prematuur. “Als je vraagt: ‘Wanneer is de kans dat leven ontstaat het grootst?’ dan zou je heel naïef misschien zeggen: ‘Nu!’,” vertelt onderzoeker Avi Loeb. “Maar wij hebben ontdekt dat de kans op leven in de verre toekomst veel groter is.”

Levensduur van een ster
Verschillende factoren zijn van invloed op de kans dat op een planeet leven ontstaat. Maar de levensduur van een ster is veruit de belangrijkste factor, zo stellen Loeb en collega’s. Hoe groter de massa van een ster, hoe korter deze meegaat. Een voorbeeldje: sterren die meer dan drie keer zo zwaar zijn als de zon leggen al het loodje voordat eventueel leven de kans heeft om te ontstaan.
Maar naast dergelijke zware sterren zijn er ook kleinere sterren (rode dwergen). Ze wegen aanzienlijk minder dan de zon en kunnen zo’n 10 biljoen jaar gloeien. Op planeten rond deze sterren heeft het leven dus alle tijd om te ontstaan en zich te ontwikkelen. De kans dat je op zo’n planeet leven aantreft, groeit dus naarmate er meer tijd verstrijkt. Sterker nog: de kans dat je er leven aantreft is in de verre toekomst maar liefst 1000 keer groter dan nu.

Prematuur of niet?
“Dus dan kun je jezelf afvragen: waarom leven we niet in de toekomst naast een ster met een lage massa?” stelt Loeb. “Eén mogelijkheid is dat we prematuur zijn. Een andere mogelijkheid is dat de omgeving rond zo’n ster met een lage massa gevaarlijk is voor leven.” Want sterren met een lage massa mogen dan lang meegaan: ze zijn ook zeer actief. In hun jonge jaren stoten ze krachtige zonnevlammen en ultraviolette straling uit die de atmosfeer van elke rotsachtige planeet in de leefbare zone kunnen doen verdwijnen.

Maar hoe zit het nu dan? Is het leven op aarde prematuur? Of is het leven rond sterren met een lage massa te gevaarlijk? Om een antwoord op die vraag te krijgen, moeten we nabijgelegen rode dwergen en hun planeten gaan bestuderen en kijken of er op die planeten leven is. Dat is een mooi klusje voor toekomstige telescopen, zoals TESS en James Webb

We moeten nog even geduld hebben: de meteorenzwerm piekt pas op 12 augustus. Maar nu al zijn er regelmatig ‘vallende sterren’ te zien.

Het is misschien wel de bekendste sterrenregen van het jaar: de Perseïden. En volgende week piekt deze sterrenregen in de nacht van vrijdag op zaterdag met tussen de 70 en 80 lichtstreepjes per uur.

Nu al meteoren zien
In aanloop naar deze piek zijn echter ook al heel wat lichtstreepjes te spotten, dus grijp de komende dagen je kans! Volgens Hemel.waarnemen.com zijn meteoren van deze zwerm tot 12 dagen voor en na het maximum te zien. Wel zijn er meer meteoren te zien kort voor of kort na de piek. Ga je drie dagen voor de piek kijken, dan kun je wel dertig meteoren per uur spotten. Kijk je een dag eerder naar de hemel, dan ligt het aantal zichtbare meteoren zo’n 40 procent lager.

Bewolking en de maan
De meteoren – die een snelheid van zo’n 209.000 kilometer per uur hebben – zijn prima met het blote oog te zien. Zolang het maar niet bewolkt is. Een andere mogelijke spelbreker is de maan. Wanneer deze flink verlicht is, zijn zwakkere meteoren niet of moeilijk te zien. Dit jaar kan de maan inderdaad roet in het eten gooien, omdat deze – tijdens de piek – voor 70 procent verlicht is.

Komeet
De Perseïden geeft elk jaar acte de présence. De sterrenregen ontstaat doordat de aarde door de baan van de komeet Swift-Tuttle beweegt. Deze komeet heeft in zijn baan stofdeeltjes achtergelaten die in botsing komen met moleculen in de atmosfeer van de aarde. Daarbij komt energie vrij die wij zien in de vorm van lichtstreepjes. De termen ‘sterrenregen’ of ‘vallende sterren’ zijn dan ook wat misleidend: de Perseïden hebben niks met sterren te maken.

Wie de lichtstreepjes graag met eigen ogen wil zien, doet er goed aan een plek met weinig lichtvervuiling op te zoeken. Ook is het belangrijk je warm aan te kleden.

Luke Aikins is a well known, world-renowned skydiver, but his latest stunt is the stuff of legend.

Having been a stuntman in Iron Man 3 and acting as a safety and training advisor for the United States Parachute Association, Aikins is well respected in the skydiving community.

However, 99.9% of skydivers use a parachute when soaring through the skies.

Last week, Aikins became the first person ever to jump out of a plane without a wingsuit or parachute and survive the free fall/landing, thanks to a well-constructed safety net some 25,000 feet below.

After jumping out of the plane at 25,000 feet, Aikins soared down to the 10,000 square foot safety net that would ultimately save his life and help him successfully complete the epic stunt.

Impressively, Aikins utilized a GPS on his way down to land squarely in the net which was located in the California desert.

Looking for liquid water – the hallmark sign for life – has been the NASA’s strategy to search for life beyond Earth. A planet must be within the so-called habitable zone, the area around a star in which a planet’s surface is able to hold liquid water.

Since its launch in 2009, the Kepler space observatory has discovered over 4,000 potential exoplanets, of which more than 2,000 have been confirmed.

THE KEPLER LIST NARROWED DOWN TO 20

A study, published in the Astrophysical Journal, from a team of researchers led by Dr. Stephen R. Kane, associate professor of Physics and Astronomy at San Francisco State University, painstakingly studied and cataloged all the exoplanets from the Kepler list to determine which among them is most likely to harbor life.

The research lists down 216 planets found within the habitable zone and, after examining other factors like size and composition, the research team further narrows down the list to 20 planets within a conservative habitable zone having a rocky surface — which are very similar to our planet Earth. The scope of the research does not include finding out whether alien life exists in those 20 Earth-like planets, though.

In an interview, Kane states, “unfortunately we cannot give probabilities that a planet has life at this point since we still only have one data point – the Earth – for which we know life exists. What we can do is focus our efforts on the planets most likely to yield evidence of extraterrestrial life and that is what we hope our work will provide.”

I would also like to thank the Navy brass for allowing Bill to tell his classified story to the public for the public good. While Charles Hall has been most involved with the Tall White ETs with very useful specific information on the TW technology and culture, Bill because of his high level clearances and positions in NASA and in the defense industry is able to broaden our perspective greatly.

This selection is especially true in regards to military ET threat assessments and the Navy’s technological push into space to counter these threats through the development of fantastic near and deep space battle groups and bases in this solar system and on other solar systems across the universe in alliance with friendly ETs. With an unobstructed view of the horizon, the average person with an eye height of ~5’7″ (1.7 meters) can see 2.9 miles (4.7 kilometers), a person standing 100 feet (30 meters) off the ground can see 12.2 miles (19.6 kilometers), and a person atop an incredibly high location like the 29,029 foot (8,848 meter) peak of Mt. Everest can see 209 miles (336 kilometers) to the horizon.

Ottawa, Ontario — Dave Palachik reports NORAD dispatched two CF-18 fighter jets to the skies over Ottawa after a drone was spotted flying near the airport of the nation’s capital last month. • The CF-18s were scrambled from Canadian Forces Base Bagotville in Quebec at about 5:45 p.m. ET on May 25, 2016, after commercial airline operators raised concerns about a suspicious unmanned aerial vehicle near the Ottawa airport.

The drone was spotted by the pilots of WestJet Flight 366, from Toronto to Ottawa, as well as Air Canada Flight 458, also from Toronto to Ottawa. The WestJet pilots flew past the drone as the Boeing 737 plane was descending into the Ottawa airport at about 4:45 p.m. ET.

The pilot’s call to the airport’s air traffic controllers was recorded by the website liveATC.net, which monitors air traffic control communications across the globe. “Just to let you know we just flew pretty close to a drone at 6,700 feet,” a pilot can be heard telling air traffic controllers. • The pilots of the Air Canada flight spotted the drone on their descent in an Airbus A320 just a few minutes after the WestJet flight spotted it. • “I can see the drone,” a pilot can be heard telling air traffic controllers in another recording. The scrambled fighter jets were not able to locate the drone when they arrived and the jets returned to CFB Bagotville, according to DND. The RCMP is investigating on June 6, 2016; nearly two weeks after the incident, Transport Canada filed a report about the sightings of a “large drone” near the flight paths of the two planes. The report says that the WestJet pilots spotted the drone on the plane’s left side at the same altitude of the plane, about 6,700 feet. The Air Canada flight was flying at 8,000 feet when its pilots spotted the drone about 1.8 kilometers to its left, flying about 2,000 feet below the plane’s altitude. The drone headed to the southeast at 37 to 55 km/h on radar and was lost at about 4:55 p.m. ET, the report states.

Ivan Sanderson’s Invisible Residents

The professional biologist who founded the Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained in Columbia, New Jersey, wrote the earth has “Invisible Residents” The Reality of Underwater UFO, was the first UFO book I ever read. He states, “Could the ultimate docking stations for some of the UFOs seen constantly around the world be deep in our oceans? Could these still-operational underwater docking bases have been built in our distant past by extraterrestrials?” Sanderson chronicles hundreds of curious unidentified underwater object incidents, many that emerge from the water to fly through the air, and draws some startling conclusions. Highest on Sanderson’s statistical priority list was a lozenge-shaped area east of Miami, in the Bahamas, on the western tip of the infamous Bermuda Triangle. This area’s “high profile” of strange events, Sanderson concluded, was mostly due to the enormous flow of air/and sea traffic in the area. Other zones of anomaly, though less familiar, were equally rich in disappearances and space-time shift occurrences. …

Another area of continuing disappearances and mysterious time warps is the Devil’s Sea located east of Japan between Iwo Jima and Marcus Island.
