I was a soldier serving in Cyprus in 1958. Myself, a subaltern officer and a driver had visited an internment camp for EOKA men in the Troodos mountains.  After we had made our visit we continued along the dirt track road in the Landrover until the road became hazardous. Whilst the driver turned the vehicle around the officer stretched his legs and I climbed up the steep side of the trackside towards a clump of bushes to use the bathroom.  As I arrived at the bushes, which were about four feet high, I looked over and saw that they were on the ridge of a hollow.  About twenty five feet away in the opposite side of the hollow two figures were bending over and looking intently at a boulder.  They both stood up and looked directly at me. The striking thing about them was that they were both very white in appearance, as if wax, with very little features.  I could only see the upper part of them and they appeared to have eyes and what I thought was their head had no neck but seemed to be part of their body.  They just stood and stared at me; I turned and rushed down to the vehicle and urged the driver to leave immediately. I did not tell either of my companions what I had seen because I could make no logical conclusion for what it might have been.  Those things, whatever they might have been, looked nothing like the images we see of aliens and if they had been, they would most certainly have challenged me.  We were at a good altitude and a considerable distance from any village or settled habitation. I have puzzled over it since that time. 

SPECIAL NOTE:  EOKA was a nationalist organization with the ultimate goal of “The liberation of Cyprus from the British yoke”, presenting itself as “anti-colonialist“. Although not stated in its initial declaration of existence which was printed and distributed on 1 April 1955, EOKA also had a target of achieving enosis (union of Cyprus with Greece). Despite this ideology being reflected in many of its members (and chiefly its military leader George Grivas) throughout the armed campaign, it was not of universal acceptance.

DNA Confirms Pleiades Aliens Mated With Primitive Humans

Pleiades Aliens, or Nordic Aliens are alien beings from the star cluster Pleiades in the constellation Taurus. They have been described by many as humanoid, very tall in stature with light blond hair and an exceptionally fair skin tone.

Various theorists have claimed that the Pleiades aliens and humans share a common ancestor, but no evidence of this has ever been discovered until now. Due to the aliens exceptionally fair appearance and above average height, the Northern European races, particularly the Scandinavians have long been hypothesized to be the closest hybrid race of humans and Pleiades aliens.

The recent discovery of the 3,600 year old Nebra Sky Disk in Germany which provides a clear star map to the Pleiades star system has once again fueled many debates that the Nordics do share a common ancestor with the Pleiades aliens. Why would they have a detailed star map of the Pleiades?

How did DNA testing recently find out about Pleiades aliens and humans?

Modern DNA technology has been able to trace the ancestry of all humans through DNA testing . All humans share common DNA markers or “traits”, that allow geneticists to trace your ethnic groups. Even if you are of one pure nationality you will have some overlapping DNA markers of other ethnic groups to varying degrees, after all we are all humans – or are we?

Understanding Haplogroups: Haplogroups relate to our deep ancestry. Deep ancestry is not traditional genealogy: it is not for tracing family or confirming family linkages. Deep ancestry is a look at our ancient ancestral roots from tens of thousands of years ago and shows how all people living today are connected to an ancient ancestor who lived in Africa over 100,000 years ago.

The World Genographic Project has been testing haplogroups worldwide and until recently has had no cause for alarm, until it was discovered that between 4000 – 6000 years ago a small group of extremely unusual DNA was introduced into the population of Denmark. Geneticists have named it “Haplogroup I1” and have no idea where it came from. It only appears in the Nordic races and to small degrees in countries that have been invaded by Nordics, such as England and Ireland. No other group of people on the planet Earth have this DNA unless they have come in contact with Nordic peoples. It is the root cause for the Nordic appearance. All other Europeans and most humans have R, R1a, or R1b haplogroups.

It is suggested that Nordic people have alien ancestors,  they do have a large amount of distinctive DNA that is without explanation and is not found any where else. They resemble Pleiades aliens and appear to have been hybridized by the advanced Pleiades aliens in our ancient past.

• They can tolerate extreme climates that other humans cannot
• Exceptionally physical people, often displaying great strength
• They look completely different than any other Europeans
• 95% atheist, have no belief in a god system
• Extremely intelligent, scientific, with a virtual 100% literacy rate
• Were able to sail around the globe using the stars as guides – from memory!
• Able to speak multiple Earth languages
• Unable to be directly exposed to our Earth’s sun without burning, suggesting they did not evolve on Earth.

Robinson isn’t the only one investigating Operation Bluestar.

Morgan Stanley released its own report on the project and determined that, “We are witnessing the most disruptive intersection of manufacturing, innovation, and capital experienced in more than a century.”

Wired Magazine believes this will usher in a “truly transformative revolution.”

But what Robinson has discovered that others haven’t is unique evidence that points to the exact site that this secretive project, which is projected to be 1,000 acres and include a 10-million square foot facility, will be built.

1. What was your prime motivation knowledge wise in creating your book “Alien Viruses: Crashed UFOs, MJ-12 and Biowarfare?”

I had been authenticating “leaked UFO documents” professionally since 1998, and had given several papers at my son Ryan’s conferences on UFO crash retrievals about authentication technique and reverse engineering. One of the documents alluded to the deaths of four technicians who were handling alien bodies from the Roswell crash. I thought that the possible personal threats like those of the War of the Worlds radio program in 1938 would have both a big interest and appeal to emotions. Therefore, I worked with excellent researcher Nick Redfern to dig up new information about these pathogens, and it turned out that some of them may well have been viruses. Many scientists have been concerned about whether contact with aliensmight be hazardous to them or to us. 

2. Could you go into your background as a doctor and your aerospace career and being a long time MUFON Director?

Attached is an extensive biography with many of my publications. What you can conclude is that I had an exciting aerospace career, starting with missiles and ending with the International Space Station. At one time my company, McDonnell Douglas, did ask me to see if we could figure out how the UFOs worked. This launched me into awareness of the UFO problem and the reality of the craft. However, it is really only since my retirement after 43 years of engineering management that I began to focus on the authentication of UFO documents. I became committed to the value of the Mutual UFO Network in 1994 upon my retirement from McDonnell Douglas, and have been on their Business Board of Directors ever since.

3. Would go you into some of your personal thoughts on alien viruses with us?

I have many opinions based on reading about the reports and research of others. Since I am not a biotech engineer or an MD, my thoughts on alien viruses are not particularly technical. My opinion is that the evidence is impressive that there have been several occasions when humans have been infected by aliens. There are three occasions where it is pretty clear the humans died as a result, but this is really a rare situation. In my opinion, we humans on earth have been visited so often by so many different civilizations that we have built up immunity to most of the pathogens over the centuries. Most aliens do not seem to require isolation from our pathogens and there are many reports of close contact with aliens that seem to not result in any infectious disease. Nevertheless, the current Government protocols of avoiding direct contact would seem to be on the safe side.

4. Can you share some information with us about the mysterious deaths of key microbiologists and virologists?

One of the facets of this research that my colleague Nick Redfern noted (nearly always from publicly available materials) was the deaths of a seemingly large number of 29 microbiologists between 2001 and 2005, many of whom were working on biological warfare for various countries. My book provides specific facts about each death as available, and encourages the reader to suspect that they could not be totally random. However, neither Nick nor I have access to any classified material that would answer the question of why were they murdered (if they were). Two obvious possibilities are to prevent them from telling others of deadly pathogens or of the cures for deadly pathogens not yet known. Mentioning such deaths suggests that those who ordered them are not to be trifled with.

5. When it comes to government secret expenditures, what can you share with us?

Personally, I can tell you that during the cold war our intelligence community was trying to learn everything they could technically about what the Soviets were doing. One of my fields was radar and I tried to help understand the Soviet ballistic missile defense radar systems. This program, was of course classified, although its existence was expected and unclassified. So, I can say with confidence that there ARE huge Government secret expenditures, in my opinion, vastly larger than most credible people are willing to speculate. Secrecy, although helpful in keeping technology from our enemies, also has the effect of permitting lack of ethics sometimes and always favors the power of those in control.

6. What is the incredible revelation regarding the autopsy of alien bodies shared by an Area 51 insider?

“Anonymous John” was interviewed by colleague Nick Redfern, and I never personally met him nor know how to contact him if he is still alive. The only information I have is that which is on the ten pages dealing with his “revelations.” Personally, I think the most interesting observation by John is the Suit Study on page 293 that alluded to the ability of the suit itself to appear to have memory and to the apparent ability of the suit to impose emotional messages relating to the inability of the immune system to respond to viruses.

7. What are some ways that an alien virus could cause a contagion on the Earth and to your knowledge has it ever happened before?

Two classic stories have answered this question. The War of the Worlds, by H.G. Wells, in which the invaders from Mars appear to die as a result of catching the common cold, for which they have no resistance. The other classic is The Andromeda Strain, by Michael Crichton, where a pathogen leaked from a satellite sampler causes blood to clot in an unknown way, presumably by lethal viruses. The hero works with the microbiologist in an underground laboratory to find the cure before everyone dies. One whole chapter of my book is devoted to the Andromeda Strain because shortly after the release of the movie version (1971) of the book a scientist at Fort Detrick, Maryland (a biological warfare center) wrote a “white paper” called Andromeda: Fact or Fiction? that was circulated there. Later, one of three copies that had been made came back from the CIA with red handwritten notations and a big red classification stamp reading: Majestic 12-12-12 Approved, Spike-Back. It was more than ten years later when the Fort Detrick witness remembered the wording Majestic 12 when the 1984 documents became public.
It is noteworthy that, although polio cases have occurred in the past, that in the 1940s and 1950s, towards the beginning of the massive numbers of UFO reports, the incidence of cases of polio were systematically studied by the Air Force to assess the correlation with UFOs both in location and timing. The report did NOT conclude with a clear statistical statement, leaving open this issue. In the meantime, the World Health Organization and Rotary International have successfully implemented a vaccination program that has essentially eliminated this epidemic. I am not aware of any claims backed up with data that would support evidence of a specific epidemic, other than the deaths of the Mexicans in the Chihuahua Mexico crash case of August 1974.

8. Would you share a crashed UFO story from your book that you are very intrigued by?

I like the Kingman, Arizona 1953 retrieval story for various reasons: there were multiple witnesses, there were live aliens present, and they seemed to be cooperative, suggesting that they were “helping us.” Also, the stories come from multiple sources, one of whom was on the recovery team. The aliens were consistent with EBE 1 described in the Special Operations Manual. I think it is possible that this is one of the first failed flights of one of “their” craft, based on other witness reports. Those who entered the craft became ill, possibly with a virus, although there is no report that they died, they seemed to be unable to remember what they saw inside the craft. These multiple aspects make Kingman one of the most interesting to me. Furthermore, it has been reported that the fiction book by Whitley Strieber, Majestic, is actually an accurate summary of what appears to have happened. I can’t find my copy of this book right now to confirm that.

9. What about the AIDS / Cattle Mutilation connection, would you go into this with us?

Pathogens, or substances that cause one to become ill, can be loosely classified by size as fungi (largest), bacteria, viruses, and prions. Examples of the ailments caused might be (in order) athlete’s foot or yeast infections, tuberculosis or syphilis, smallpox or Ebola, and mad cow disease.
HIV, or the human immune deficiency virus, is responsible for AIDS. There is an issue of whether the HIV could have been intentionally created by the BW folks or by aliens as distinguished from being a natural evolution from the monkey viruses. This debate itself if very complex.
Cattle mutilation, or the systematic removal of specific parts and blood from cattle and occasionally other animals, has been associated with the presence of both UFOs and with unmarked helicopters. One issue is whether is it our personnel who are doing this or the aliens or both. Another is whether they are doing it to prevent or monitor the spread or mad cow disease or for alien food. These debates are also very complex.
The conclusion is that very little has been ruled out, and it is important to listen to the evidence supporting the subtleties of all of the interrelated hypotheses. What I can state with reasonable confidence is (1) the mutilation of cattle is real and is accomplished with advanced technology; (2) the Government has gone to extreme measures to keep the extent of the activity and their own investigations from the public; (3) there are a number of reports that some aliens do require the ingredients of blood as food.

10. This is a wild card question. What from the book would you like to share with us that our readers might find fascinating?

One of the most important aspects of researching leaked UFO documents is the numerous examples before the Roswell crash, starting with the “Battle of LA” documents in early 1942 up to those of June 1947. You can read about these starting on page 50 of the book. For example, a 1944 memo from FDR deals with “non-terrestrial science and technology” although it does not specifically mention viruses. The reason this is so critical is twofold: (1) it clarifies the extreme state of readiness planning for crash recoveries at the time of the Roswell and subsequent “crashes”; and (2) it gave us a much earlier start on reverse-engineering the craft and the technology.

11. What are you up to next-book-wise and or projects-wise. Also, any links you’d like to share or a contact email? Thanks for this interview.

I have two projects in mind at this time. The first is to accumulate the hints from the Cape Girardeau 1941 recovery and those of the Battle of LA to show that it is impressively credible to state there is good evidence that Purdue University Physics Department, under a classified contract, was so deeply involved in the electrical properties of germanium and silicon that they were actually the ones who discovered the technology that led to the transistor in 1945. Bell Laboratories’ Bill Shockley led the group that resulted in practical manufacturing, and was an attendee of the Purdue contract work. I would like to be able to prove this claim beyond a shadow of a doubt.
The second project would be to use the latest techniques of forensic linguistics to authenticate the identity of the writers of some of the “leaked” documents that have been questioned, and show that the majority of them are essentially genuine, as distinguished from psychological warfare products. This project would inevitably come to grips with the degree and processes used in the past and today to suppress genuine information on UFOs, alien visitors, and reverse-engineered craft flying today.

There May Be an Ancient Earth Inside Earth, Say Harvard Scientists

A team of Harvard scientists believe the remnants of an ancient Earth, dating to the time another planet collided with ours to produce the moon, may still be lodged deep within the Earth’s mantle

If you thought it was a trip to see the Earth from space, then wait until you get a load of this: A team of scientists from Harvard University believe that have found evidence that an ancient Earth exists inside the Earth.

The team believes that a previously unexplained isotopic ratio from deep within the Earth might be a signal from material from before the Earth collided with another planet-sized body, which led to the creation of the Moon. This might be an echo of an ancient Earth that existed 4.5 billion years ago, prior to the proposed collision.

The current favored theory says that the Moon was formed 4.5 billion years ago when the Earth collided with a mass the size of Mars, dubbed “Theia.” This theory states that the heat generated by the collision would have melted the whole planet before some of the debris spun off to create the Moon.

But now, the team at Harvard, led by Associate Professor Sujoy Mukhopadhyay, believe that they’ve found evidence to support that only part of the Earth melted, and that an ancient part still exists within the Earth’s mantle.

According to Professor Mukhopadhyay: “The energy released by the impact between the Earth and Theia would have been huge, certainly enough to melt the whole planet. But we believe that the impact energy was not evenly distributed throughout the ancient Earth. This means that a major part of the impacted hemisphere would probably have been completely vaporized, but the opposite hemisphere would have been partly shielded, and would not have undergone complete melting.”

The team analyzed the ratios of noble gas isotopes from deep within the Earth’s mantle and compared the results to isotope ratios closer to the surface. They found that 3He to 22Ne ratio from the shallow mantle is significantly higher than the equivalent ratio deep within the mantle.

Professor Mukhopadhyay remarked: “This implies that the last giant impact did not completely mix the mantle and there was not a whole mantle magma ocean.”

Further evidence comes from analysis of the 129-Xenon to 120-Xenon ratio. Material brought to the surface from the deep mantle has a lower ratio than what’s normally found near the surface. Because 129-Xenon is produced by the radioactive decay of 129-Iodine, the isotopes place the formation age of the ancient section of mantle to within the first 100 million years of Earth’s history.

“The geochemistry indicates that there are differences between the noble gas isotope ratios in different parts of the Earth, and these need to be explained. The idea that a very disruptive collision of the Earth with another planet-sized body, the biggest event in Earth’s geological history, did not completely melt and homogenize the Earth challenges some of our notions on planet formation and the energetics of giant impacts. If the theory is proven correct, then we may be seeing echoes of the ancient Earth, from a time before the collision,” said Professor Mukhopadhyay.

Professor Richard Carlson of the Carnegie Institution Department of Terrestrial Magnetism stated: “This exciting result is adding to the observational evidence that important aspects of Earth’s composition were established during the violent birth of the planet and is providing a new look at the physical processes by which this can occur.”

The findings of the team at Harvard coincide with a German team’s findings supporting the theory that the Moon was formed 4.5 billion years ago after a catastrophic collision with a planet-sized mass.

Both the Harvard and German teams presented their findings to the Goldschmidt Geochemistry Conference in California this week.

A row has erupted in Russia over a biological  scientist’s claim that some 200 Yeti live in a large area of southern  Siberia.

Professor Valentin Sapunov has  infuriated  academics with his assertion that scientific tests, including  DNA checks, found  that hair samples from a remote cave belonged to a  human-like mammal unknown to  man.

Now he has gone further by claiming a population of 200 Yeti exist in the forested Kemerovo, Khakassia and  Altai  regions of Siberia.

This number allows them to successfully  reproduce, said the academic from the Russian State HydroMeteorological  University.

‘He claims there have been no  confirmed  sightings of the Yeti because they have an acute sense of  danger,’ reported the  Siberian Times.

But other Russian experts are deeply  unimpressed by Professor Sapunov’s theories, saying he has put his Big Foot in  it  with claims that there is DNA backing for the existence of the  Yeti.

Far from finding the Abonimable  Snowman, his  scientific claims on the subject amount to abominable  lies, Oleg Pugachev,  director of the Zoological Institute of Russian  Academy of Science, told  state-run newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

 

This institute was one of three where  Professor Sapunov claimed the ‘Yeti hair’ – found a year ago – was  tested.

Plastiglomeraat vormt zich wanneer plastic smelt en zich vermengt met lavasteen, koraal en zand. Geoloog Patricia Corcoran van de universiteit van Ontario en Charles Moore, kapitein van een oceanisch onderzoekschip, ontdekten de steen op een Hawaïaans strand. Ze publiceerden hun onderzoek in het vakblad Geological Society of America Today.

De wetenschappers vermoeden dat de stenen ontstonden toen kampeerders plastic voorwerpen als vorkjes, tandenborstels en touw verbrandden. Veel van die voorwerpen waren nog herkenbaar.

Overal ter wereld
Omdat plastic zo alomtegenwoordig is en niet natuurlijk afbreekt, denken de geologen dat plastiglomeraat een permanente nieuwe aanwinst is op de lijst van gesteenten op Aarde. Corcoran is ervan overtuigd dat het nieuwe gesteente, nu het geïdentificeerd is, aan talloze kusten in de hele wereld ontdekt zal worden.

Volgens paleontoloog Jan Zalasiewicz van de universiteit van Leicester is de ontdekking de officiële inluiding van een nieuw tijdperk: het Antropoceen. Voor toekomstige generaties vormt het nieuwe gesteente een blijvend bewijs van onze vervuilende gewoonten. Sinds 1950 produceerden we bijna 6 miljard ton plastic, genoeg om de planeet mee te verpakken.

Ook de slimste man aller tijden had niet altijd gelijk

Albert Einstein staat wel bekend als de slimste mens die ooit op aarde zou hebben rondgelopen. Toch blijkt hij vooral ook een man van vlees en bloed te zijn geweest. Naar nu pas bekend is geworden heeft ooit een 23-jarige student van de meester een rekenfout in zijn werk ontdekt. Een fout die Einstein ook heeft toegegeven, zij het pas in tweede instantie.

De toen 23 jaar oude natuurkundestudent Herbert Salzer schreef het genie in 1938, vanwege zijn afstudeeropdracht, een brief, waarin hij de fout beschreef. Het zou gaan om fout in een vergelijkingsberekening.

Einstein schreef de student een zeer uitgebreide brief terug, waarin hij de fout verwierp. Hij ondertekende de brief met 'Met achting en respect, Albert Einstein.

Toegegeven
Salzer leek zich bij het oordeel van Einstein neer te leggen, maar kreeg twee weken later tot zijn grote verrassing nog een brief van Einstein waarin hij de fout alsnog toegaf. Einstein gaf Salzer alle krediet voor het bemerken van zijn fout. Het is voor zover bekend de enige keer dat een collega een fout in het werk van Einstein aantoonde.

Salzer zou zich later ontwikkelen tot een zeer gewaardeerd natuurkundige en universitair docent met ruim 100 publicaties op zijn naam. Hij stierf in 2006 op 91-jarige leeftijd. De briefwisseling wordt deze week in New York geveild. Naar verwachting levert het wetenschappelijke schrijfwerk zo'n 50.000 dollar op.

Wetenschappers vinden gigantische ondergrondse oceaan diep in de aardkorst

Wetenschappers zijn er door seismische proeven in geslaagd om een gigantisch grote watermassa te detecteren in het binnenste van de aarde. Die ontdekking werpt mogelijk nieuw licht op de vraag hoe er ooit water op onze planeet is gekomen.

In de aardlaag, tussen ongeveer 410 en 660 kilometer diepte, bevindt zich voldoelde water om alle oceanen op de oppervlakte van de aarde drie keer te vullen. Het water bevindt zich tussen het aardoppervlak en de aardkern in een laag rotsachtig gesteente met de naam ringwoodiet. De bevindingen verschijnen vandaag in het vakblad Science.

De ontdekking van het water zou er op kunnen wijzen dat het water op aarde er niet is gekomen door ijskometen die op onze planeet insloegen na de vorming ervan, zoals tot nu toe algemeen werd gedacht. Het water zou er nu eerder van binnenuit gekomen zijn, en naar boven zijn gestuwd door vulkanische activiteit. Daardoor zouden de oceanen stapsgewijs zijn ontstaan. De ontdekking geeft ook meer duidelijkheid waarom de oceanen al miljoenen jaren ongeveer even groot blijven: het water in de aardlaag vormt een soort van buffer.

Als het water er niet zou zijn, zou het zich wel op de aardoppervlakte bevinden en zouden enkel de hoogste bergtoppen boven het water uitsteken, zo concluderen de onderzoekers nog.

It’s been many years since numerous scientific experts authenticated Billy Meier’s UFO photographs, films, sound recordings and metal samples. Nonetheless, many people have neither understood, nor accepted, the validity and significance of these findings.

Their skeptical cry for access to now long gone negatives, etc., has been used to try to cast doubt on the evidence, as well as the honesty and character of Meier and all concerned. Such accusations and demands were part of the subterfuge employed, usually by the most technically incompetent people, who were essentially claiming that if they themselves hadn’t personally analyzed the evidence it must be hoaxed. Of course this attitude invalidates accepting as true most of…human history, since none of us have personally witnessed, observed, or tested more than 99% of it.

This skeptical tactic has been parroted and echoed by every online armchair expert for whom the reality of the Meier case is simply too threatening to their belief systems.

Quite recently, Rhal Zahi provided new authentication of 63 of Meier’s most controversial photographs and five-minute video of the WCUFO, from 1981, using state-of-the-art technology. He also authenticated Meier’s first 8mm film of the so-called “Pendulum UFO”, from 1975, which reveals two instances of the craft “jumping”, i.e. actually appearing in two separate places within one frame of film!

Many people who’ve taken the time to examine and think through the evidence also realized for themselves that Meier’s 8mm film of the Hasenböl UFO with two lights flashing in broad daylight, from 1976, was certainly no clever, remote controlled model. Similarly, a film interview of Meier, by NTV (Nippon TV), showing Meier and the film director walking up to the tree immortalized in the famous “Sunlight UFO” photographs also taken at Hasenböl, easily settled the authenticity of that photographic evidence. Add to the amazing photographs the one of the cross in the sky, taken in India in 1964 with an old Kodak bellows camera, as well as UFO photos taken by other witnesses, including a Swiss skeptic, and mountains of other information and one may just recognize the genuineness and authenticity of the Meier case.

However, Rhal Zahi authenticated another one of the WCUFO photos that skeptics long accused of being just a model against a black curtain. Remembering that Meier took these 35mm photos in 1981, long before home computers, digital effects, PhotoShop, etc., and that he never drew any attention to them himself, this one simple result is not only amazing in itself but it can easily be duplicated by anyone, by…you, right at your own computer. No longer will the disingenuous cries for negatives of the original photos carry even the slightest weight or concern. After all, even if negatives were presented at this time, only a relatively few people would have the technical ability to authenticate them themselves, so once again we’d have to rely on outside expert analysis and opinion.

Now, in keeping with the theme of self-responsibility at the core of the Meier case, any and all of us who want to see the truth come alive before our very eyes, the truth that was hidden in plain sight for over 32 years, only have to do what Zahi himself did – put the photo (which you can grab off of this page) into PhotoShop and increase the brightness and contrast. You will find yourself looking down from above the WCUFO at a road next to a grassy path, etc.:

Only the most desperate, intellectually dishonest skeptics (am I repeating myself?) would be dwelling so deeply in denial as to not consider and admit that there is absolutely no likelihood that Meier somehow figured out, more than three decades ago, how to “trick” 21^st century technology, that hadn’t been invented yet, into revealing that which wasn’t apparent on a 35mm 35mm film photograph.

While I maintain that the even “higher standard of proof” is in Meier’s voluminous, prophetically accurate, scientific information (of which you’ll find plenty on this blog as well as here) being able to authenticate Meier’s WCUFO photos yourself should be sufficient to end any doubts about their authenticity and Meier’s truthfulness, once and for all.

Of course, now that you know the truth about the most important true story in all of science and human history…what will you do about it?

SCOTLAND’S FALKIRK TRIANGLE IS THE UFO CAPITOL OF THE WORLD

Bonnybridge has become the UFO capital of the world with more than 300 sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects reported above the town every year.  It is a small town in the heart of central Scotland. But Bonnybridge has earned its place in the unexplained history books along with Roswell, in New Mexico, and even the Bermuda Triangle.  Councillor Billy Buchanan says so many residents come to him with concerns about what is happening in the town’s skies that he has appealed to three prime ministers – David Cameron, Tony Blair and John Major – to order an urgent investigation.  As yet no official investigation we know of is underway.  The Ministry of Defence say they are “satisfied that there is no evidence that the United Kingdom’s airspace might have been compromised by hostile or unauthorised foreign military activity.” 

 But mysterious sightings in the area known as the Falkirk Triangle, which branches from Bonnybridge to Stirling and Fife, continue. Everything from space ships landing to mysterious balls of light have been reported.  Some unexplained sightings have even been caught on film.  Publicity concerning the sightings started in 1992 when businessman James Walker said he noticed some strange lights in the sky while driving home.  At first, he thought they were stars but was startled when he saw them move and assumed a triangle shape. Around the same time, the Sloggett family reported one of the most extraordinary sightings from the UFO hot spot.  They claimed to have been walking towards Bonnybridge at around 7 pm on a clear March evening when they saw a circle of light ahead of them.  They said the light appeared to land in a nearby field. The family continued on their journey, but say they were stopped by a football-sized blue light hovering above the road ahead of them.  Later, Isabella Sloggett said: “My daughter Carole and I saw a UFO land right in front of us. A door opened and there was a howl-like sound.  “I screamed and ran off terrified.”  Since then, further UFO sightings from this alleged portal to another dimension have come thick and fast. Several people who live near Bonnybridge have separately filmed what appears to be strange white objects hovering in the sky.  NOTE: The above image is a rendering

Feestgangers stuiten op 10 miljoen jaar oud fossiel- HLN.be

Een vrijgezellenfeestje aan de rand van een meer in de Amerikaanse staat New Mexico heeft geleid tot de vondst van een 10 miljoen jaar oud fossiel. De feestgangers stuitten op de 1,5 meter diep begraven schedel van een mammoet, compleet met slagtanden, in het Elephant Butte State Park op zo'n 250 kilometer van de stad Albuquerque.

Het fossiel van 450 kilo kwam aan het licht nadat een grote hoeveelheid water uit het meer was gepompt, waarmee delen van New Mexico en Texas konden worden geïrrigeerd. Het schoonmaken van de mammoetschedel zal ongeveer een half jaar gaan duren. Daarna kunnen de paleontologen een onderzoek beginnen. "Ik kom hier al 20 jaar, maar ik heb nog nooit zoiets gezien", aldus paleontoloog en curator Gary Morgan van het natuurkundig museum van New Mexico.

A Few Historical Ufology Anomalies

I am fascinated with artwork from the European Renaissance era that depict odd flying objects and other anomalies. There are many examples that were created throughout the continent.

One the most interesting objects, in my opinion, was a tapestry created in 1538 in the city of Bruges, Belgium, known as the Summer’s Triumph. It depicts the victorious ascension of a ruler to power. However, there is something far more interesting depicted in the tapestry, which would be easy to miss unless you were looking closely – multiple objects in the sky, which have the classical UFO shape that is popularized in the media.

The city of Bruges is the capital and the largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium in the northwest of the country.

If you look at the top of the tapestry, especially towards the left-hand side, it is possible to see a number of ‘hat shaped’ flying objects in black – that are not related to any religious depictions that are frequently seen in the sky in other medieval artworks.

Although their presence is baffling, some speculate they may have been added in the tapestry in order to connect the UFOs to the ruler as a symbol of divine intervention. If the people in that era associated flying saucers with divinity, it means they were seeing such objects in the sky and linking them to a ‘godly’ phenomena. Of course on the other hand there are those who have claimed that these unusual hat-shaped objects are simple strangely-shaped dark clouds.

The “Triumph of Summer”, is held at the Bayerisches Nationalmuseum on extended loan from the HypoVereinsbank UniCredit Bank AG. The museum has no other information regarding the tapestry’s history.

Another interesting piece by an Italian painter named Ventura Salimbeni is responsible for one of the most mysterious altar paintings in history. Disputa of the Eucharist a 16th-century painting also known as The Glorification of the Eucharist, is a three-part work. The bottom two parts are relatively benign, depicting a number of religious authorities and an altar. However, the top part shows the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, and a dove depicting the Holy Ghost) looking upon them…and holding what seems to be a space satellite or antenna craft. The object is large and spherical, with a metallic finish, telescopic antennas, and strange lights. In fact, it somewhat resembles a Soviet Sputnik satellite.

Although UFO enthusiasts and ancient astronaut theorists have often claimed the Disputa as proof of extraterrestrial life (or perhaps time travel), experts have been quick to debunk such notions. According to them, the orb is a Sphaera Mundi, a globe-like representation of the universe that used to be common in religious art. The strange lights on the “satellite” are merely the sun and the moon, and its antennas are actually scepter wands that act as symbols of authority for the Father and the Son.

Speaking of spherical anomalies, this brings us to a bizarre discovery. A self propelled, seamless metallic orb was found by members of the Betz family on March 27, 1974, and rapidly became the object of fascination & controversy for scientists, military officials, ufologists and the general public as the story of this mystery sphere quickly spread through the international media.

The silvery sphere, about 20 centimeters (eight inches) in diameter, was completely smooth except for a strange, elongated triangle symbol. It was found while the family examined the damage of a strange fire that had decimated 88 acres of their woodland on marshy Fort George Island, which is located just east of Jacksonville, Florida. Initially thinking it might be a NASA or even a Soviet spy satellite, they eventually decided it was most likely just a souvenir. They decided to take it with them.

Two weeks later, one of the Betz’ children was strumming a guitar in the same room as the sphere. Suddenly, the sphere started reacting to his tunes, emitting a strange throbbing sound and a resonance that deeply disturbed the family’s dog. Soon, the Betz family found the orb had other strange properties. It could stop and change directions when pushed across the floor, eventually returning to the initial spot. It seemed to draw power from solar energy, becoming noticeably more active on bright days.

It seemed like something was controlling the sphere. It would occasionally emit low-frequency rattling and vibrations, like there was a motor running inside. It seemed to avoid falling and crashing at all costs, as if to protect something inside it. It even managed to completely defy the laws of gravity and climb up a slanted table to avoid falling.

The New York Times and the London Daily and other media outlets sent reporters to witness the miracle sphere, which repeated its tricks to countless people. Even scientists and representatives of the military were impressed, although the Betz family wouldn’t let them take the sphere for closer examination. However, the sphere soon started to exhibit strange behavior. Poltergeist–like activity started to occur. Doors started slamming shut at night and strange organ music would fill the house out of the blue.

Dr. J. Allen Hynek, a famed ufologist and astronomer at Northwestern University in Chicago, contacted the Betz family and asked to examine the sphere. Dr. Hynek was going to be in New Orleans, LA the following week for a meeting with the National Enquirer tabloid, which was establishing a $50,000 prize for definitive proof of aliens. Since Hynek and several other scientists on the Enquirer’s panel were all there, Terry Betz and his sister drove out from Florida to show them the ball in person.

Hynek’s 1972 book The UFO Experience: A Scientific Inquiry had made him perhaps the most popularly known ufologist of the day. But on the Betz sphere, his verdict was a disappointing one. According to a report in the St. Petersburg Independent:

Hynek says none of the five scientists now think the ball is anything but manmade. “None will go so far as to say it’s extra-terrestrial,” he said in an interview yesterday. “They would be putting their scientific reputations on the line.”

So what is it?

At this point in time, the best way to answer this question is to actually the examine the ball, using modern techniques. Unfortunately, there is no record of the ball, or of Terry Betz himself, from recent years. But those newspaper reports did ring bells with a few people.

The Palm Beach Post reported on April 18, 2012 that Lottie Robinson recognized the ball from the pictures, then retrieved it from the garage where it had sat for some 15 years. Technicians from the St. Regis Company paper mill identified it as a ball valve from some large pipes used in their factory, and that had been scrapped 15 years before. Somehow that ball had found its way from a scrap dealer to Mrs. Robinson’s son, and from there to her garage. It was very close, but not identical, in size and weight to the Betz sphere.

Robert Edwards, president of a Jacksonville, FL equipment supply company, was next to make an inquiry. He showed a UPI reporter a brand new stainless steel ball, manufactured by Bell & Howell in Bridgeport, CT. Edwards and the reporter uncrated it, weighed and measured it, and found that it was 8 inches across and weighed just over 21 pounds…exactly the same as the Betz sphere.

“I’m not saying that this thing didn’t come from outer space because I’ve never seen it. All I’m saying is that the physical description of it matches exactly the type of ball we have in stock.”

At a later date, a Navy metallurgist had identified the ball as being made of an alloy called stainless steel 431. According to the web site of a supplier of this alloy:

431 has been successfully used in a variety of aircraft and general industrial applications. These include fasteners, bolts, valve components and chemical equipment.

A for the amazing properties…moving by itself, rolling uphill, making organ music, and transmitting radio signals. Could it be, by chance, that this is just an ordinary piece of industrial machinery? Someone suggested to me several years ago that this sphere may actually be a mysterious ‘Foo Fighter’ UFO from WWII. It’s doubtful…but maybe the true identity of the sphere will surface one day.

The question is – how did a Romanian dictator wind up in Italy? It’s generally believed that Tepes died on the battlefield. There are researchers now who suspect that Tepes was taken prisoner, ransomed to his daughter, by then safe in Italy, and buried in a church in Naples.

Born in 1431, Tepes was part of a noble family that was itself part of the Order of the Dragon, which was engaged in fighting the expansion of the Ottoman Empire into Europe. Vlad’s father was nicknamed Dracul, meaning ‘Dragon’ so the young Vlad became Dracula, or ‘son of Dragon’.

Dracula disappeared in 1476 battle. While some sources have claimed that he died, the researchers claim he was in fact imprisoned and hauled away in chains by the Turks.

His daughter Maria was meanwhile brought to the Neapolitan court, whose ruling family was allied with her own family. She was adopted and eventually married to a Neapolitan nobleman.

Documents have proved that Maria in fact paid a ransom to the Turks for her father, who was then brought to Naples, the historians say.

A newly uncovered headstone in Naples’ Piazza Santa Maria La Nova, the same graveyard as Tepes’ daughter and son-in-law, could be Dracula’s final resting place.

Student Erika Stella, investigating the cloister of Santa Maria Nova in Naples for her thesis, discovered the grave – quite unlike the others surrounding it, and returned with historians who undertook months of research.

Medieval history scholar Raffaello Glinni said that the 16th century tomb is covered in images and symbols of the House of the Transylvanian “Carpathians,” not in keeping with the tomb of an Italian nobleman.

“When you look at the bas-relief sculptures the symbolism is obvious,” he told newspaper reporters.

“The dragon means Dracula and the two opposing sphinxes represent the city of Thebes also called Tepes. In these symbols, Dracula Tepes, the very name of the count is written,” he said.

German court rules that dead workers have a right to paid holidays

Dead workers in Germany have a right to any annual leave which they’ve failed to claim at the time of their death, Europe’s top court ruled on Thursday. In a case brought by a widow from North Rhine-Westphalia, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruled she was entitled to money from her dead husband’s employer for the holiday he had failed to claim.

The dead man, named only as Mr Bollacke, worked for the retailer K+K from August 1998 to November 2010, when he died. He had been seriously ill since 2009 and was unable to work for a long period of time. When he died he had 140.5 days of annual leave outstanding, worth €16,000. Mr Bollacke’s widow asked supermarket K+K for the money in lieu of the annual leave not taken by her husband.

But they turned her down, saying she couldn’t inherit her dead husband’s unclaimed holidays. In 2011 she took her case to the Higher Labour Court in Hamm, North Rhine-Westphalia, which also rejected her claim. But she then appealed the court’s decision and the Hamm court referred the case to the ECJ in Luxembourg. In a judgment published on Thursday, the ECJ stressed the right to paid holidays was “particularly important”.

“The Court has previously held that where the employment relationship has terminated, the worker is entitled to an allowance in lieu in order to prevent all enjoyment of that right to leave being lost,” it said. Overruling German law, which states you lose your right to holidays when you die, the court said: “Receipt of financial compensation if the employment relationship ends by reason of the worker’s death ensures the effectiveness of the entitlement to leave.” It will now be up to the labour court in Hamm to make a decision on the case. – TheLocal

Decipher Ouija Board Experience

I’ll start off by apologizing to the people that told my friends and I to not use the board again. Last night being Friday the 13th as well as a full moon, we thought we may as well give it another go. My friend ‘J’ and I did it to start with. We got the entity that named itself ‘B’ and found out that ‘B’ is supposedly my ‘guardian’. We asked a lot of questions about this and this is what we found out:

Basically everyone has a single demon or entity that can see into their mind, this is how that specific demon can see into the human world. The ‘Z’ entity that I mentioned in my last post tries to latch itself onto people or boards. ‘Z’ and ‘B’ fought over possession of the board through most of the session. We were told that was ‘Z’ punishing each of our entity demons because ‘Z’ wanted access to us but couldn’t get it because of them. After a while ‘Z’ cut off our contact to any other entities and kept trying to trick us into saying versions of it’s name (Zozo, Zaza, Mnmn, Gaga), so we ended the session after that.

For those skeptical, I did try some things to test this. While talking to ‘B’, who can supposedly see into my mind, I kept my eyes closed and asked it questions that only I knew the answer to and let my friends read out the answers to me afterwards. I asked what my fathers name is and sure enough it spelled out his name. Earlier I asked what my middle name is and instead it spelled out my grandmothers name, which was weird. I’m not the kind of person to believe something blindly, so I tried to eliminate anything that could be messing with it. I did without my friends so that I knew it wasn’t them just messing with me. I mean it could have been a subconscious thing, but the test with my eyes closed kind of cancels that? I don’t know. When my friends ‘L’ and ‘M’ joined back in the entities ‘Z’ and ‘V’ (‘M’s ‘guardian’) were supposedly fighting over possession over the board and ‘M’s mind. ‘M’ claimed to be able to feel them fighting in her mind and got a bad headache from it. And so, another book on UFOs. Have we not yet reached the saturation point? Rehearsed all the possible pros and cons?

Nick Pope, the primary author of “Encounter in Rendlesham Forest,”  insists that this case is different: It’s definitive. He’s wrong. But that doesn’t mean the book is without its charms, offering, perhaps, an answer to the question: Why more flying-saucer books?

The Rendlesham Forest incident — known in UFO circles as Britain’s Roswell — occurred in the days (and nights) after Christmas in 1980 in a wooded area of England between two military bases then occupied by the U.S. Air Force. Pope recounts the events briefly, covering the narrative in the first 90 pages.
According to him, his co-authors, John Burroughs and Jim Penniston, both then with the Air Force, investigated mysterious lights in the forest. Burroughs was on patrol and had seen blue and red flashing lights. He and a superior drove out through the gate and saw a white light, too, which seemed to advance on them.
They returned to the base.

Just after midnight, Penniston joined the two men, and they drove out again.
Initially, they thought a small plane might have crashed. Instead, they and a few others who joined them came across something else altogether. In a small clearing, “there was a silent explosion of light.” In its aftermath, they could see “a small, metallic craft,” about nine feet high and nine feet across. “The craft was roughly triangular in shape” and either hovered or rested on a tripod.
It was decorated with blue and white lights as well as heiroglyphic-like markings. Penniston approached the thing and touched it, and then it sped off at an “impossible” speed.

When the lights returned two nights later, deputy base commander Lt. Col.
Charles Halt and a team that included Burroughs investigated. They didn’t see a craft, but Halt found what he thought was the original landing site and noted that nearby trees had been abraded. Measurements suggested that the radiation level was higher than that of the surroundings. Subsequently, the witnesses were debriefed by other members of the U.S. government, reports were sent up the chain of command, and British officials investigated but were unimpressed by what they saw.

The story leaked out over the coming years, becoming more urgent after the principals retired from the military and spoke more freely. Burroughs and Penniston both developed health problems that they traced back to those events in late December 1980 and the radiation to which they were exposed. The Department of Veterans Affairs, though, has seemed to block access to their medical records.

Hard evidence in support of the story is lacking. The gauge used to measure the radiation had settings too coarse to detect the small changes attributed to it — a shortcoming that Pope notes only evasively. There is no record of an unidentified craft being sighted by area radar. Penniston took photographs of the craft, but the film could not be developed. Halt made an audio tape of his investigation, but it is unremarkable. Pope gives no citations, so there is no way to know the provenance of the reports and memos he discusses.

Instead there are unwarranted conclusions and a welter of unrelated anecdotes. Most of one chapter is written by Burroughs and Penniston’s lawyer, who gives a cursory summary of attempts to obtain their medical records. The failure to release them provides all the evidence Pope needs to say that the documents must be classified. There is no conclusion as to what occurred on those winter nights almost 34 years ago. Penniston and Burroughs are of the opinion that a government is behind the event, using talk of UFOs as a cover.
Halt thinks the craft came from outer space. Pope is more coy but seems to favor the extraterrestrial hypothesis.

The witnesses, military personnel though they were, turn out to be untrustworthy. The quotations in the book attributed to Halt show him to be something of a crank, insisting that in the debriefings witnesses were “subjected to mind control efforts using drugs and hypnosis by British and American authorities.” Penniston’s story has changed dramatically over the years; he now says that he spent 45 minutes in close communion with the craft and that, when he touched it, a binary code was downloaded directly into his brain. He remembered the transmission only after hypnosis.

Despite all these (very large) holes, the Rendlesham tale remains popular among those interested in UFOs — as Pope’s book shows, with repeated references to television documentaries and magazine stories. Which raises the question:  Why?

“Encounter in Rendlesham Forest” is full of paranoia about the government — not all of it, or even most of it, unwarranted. Pope refers to the Iraq war (with its missing WMDs), drone strikes and NSA spying. He also reasonably worries that the U.S. government may be subcontracting the study of UFOs to private enterprise, thus shielding it from Freedom of Information Act requests.

Indeed, much of the story turns on Freedom of Information Act requests and how they made the investigation of the Rendlesham events possible by the Americans (the Brits not so much, at least until they had similar laws). Which points to why these stories fascinate so.

Governments are so large, and the handles we have on them so small, so slippery, that it is impossible to control the leviathan we have created. Pope himself worked for the British government — in a section investigating UFOs — and felt frustrated at his inability to turn others on to the importance of this matter. If even those inside the government cannot control it, what hope those who are only its subjects? Stories about flying saucers allow readers to contemplate these issues on a vast scale. Roswell, after all, occurred in 1947, but it didn’t become a cause celebre until after Watergate.

Carl Jung once famously said that stories about UFOs were a new myth — about lights in the sky. That’s not the whole story, not anymore. Flying saucers are also myths about the mightiness of the expanding states.

Ancient Fossils Discovered By Bachelor Party In New Mexico

(CBS) — There are plenty of crazy things that can happen at a bachelor party, but stumbling across ancient fossils may be a first.

A stag group made the surprising discovery at Elephant Butte Lake State Park, about 150 miles south of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

“As we are cruising by we see a large tusk or what seems to be a large tusk coming out of the ground about a good three to four inches out,” Antonio Gradillas told CBS affiliate KRQE News 13.

Gradillas and his friends started digging and found what appeared to be the giant remains of a prehistoric elephant skull.

They thought it was a woolly mammoth and sent pictures of it to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in Albuquerque.

Scientists there say it looked like a Stegomastodon, a 9-foot tall, 13,000 pound, prehistoric pachyderm that roamed New Mexico millions of years ago.

“He advised us that it may not be a woolly mammoth, it’s the wrong era and weren’t conducive to this area. He says it’s more the Ice Age era, 40 to 60 million years old, and chances are good it’s a mastodon,” Gradillas said.

The area has been blocked off so a small team of paleontologists can work on excavating the fossil.

“(The skull) looks virtually 100 percent complete, a very important scientific discovery that we may put on public display,” said Gary Morgan, curator of paleontology at the museum.

He says he has not seen anything like this in his 30-year career and will lead the expedition to the remains, located in a remote area ten miles north of a small city called Truth or Consequences.

Excavation could take up to six hours and requires a front-end loader. The skull may weigh up to 1,000 pound, given the fact it will be filled with sand.

Researchers found that herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1) infected hominids before their evolutionary split from chimpanzees 6 million years ago, whereas herpes simplex 2 (HSV-2) was transferred from ancient chimpanzees to human ancestors such as Homo erectus about 1.6 million years ago, long before the rise of early modern humans about 200,000 years ago.

Earth May Have Underground ‘Ocean’ Three Times That On Surface

After decades of searching scientists have discovered that a vast reservoir of water, enough to fill the Earth’s oceans three times over, may be trapped hundreds of miles beneath the surface, potentially transforming our understanding of how the planet was formed.

The water is locked up in a mineral called ringwoodite about 660km (400 miles) beneath the crust of the Earth, researchers say. Geophysicist Steve Jacobsen from Northwestern University in the US co-authored the study published in the journal Science and said the discovery suggested Earth’s water may have come from within, driven to the surface by geological activity, rather than being deposited by icy comets hitting the forming planet as held by the prevailing theories.

“Geological processes on the Earth’s surface, such as earthquakes or erupting volcanoes, are an expression of what is going on inside the Earth, out of our sight,” Jacobsen said.

“I think we are finally seeing evidence for a whole-Earth water cycle, which may help explain the vast amount of liquid water on the surface of our habitable planet. Scientists have been looking for this missing deep water for decades.”

Jacobsen and his colleagues are the first to provide direct evidence that there may be water in an area of the Earth’s mantle known as the transition zone. They based their findings on a study of a vast underground region extending across most of the interior of the US.

Ringwoodite acts like a sponge due to a crystal structure that makes it attract hydrogen and trap water.

If just 1% of the weight of mantle rock located in the transition zone was water it would be equivalent to nearly three times the amount of water in our oceans, Jacobsen said.

The study used data from the USArray, a network of seismometers across the US that measure the vibrations of earthquakes, combined with Jacobsen’s lab experiments on rocks simulating the high pressures found more than 600km underground.

It produced evidence that melting and movement of rock in the transition zone – hundreds of kilometres down, between the upper and lower mantles – led to a process where water could become fused and trapped in the rock.

The discovery is remarkable because most melting in the mantle was previously thought to occur at a much shallower distance, about 80km below the Earth’s surface.

Jacobsen told the New Scientist that the hidden water might also act as a buffer for the oceans on the surface, explaining why they have stayed the same size for millions of years. “If [the stored water] wasn’t there, it would be on the surface of the Earth, and mountaintops would be the only land poking out,” he said.

Milky Way may bear 100 million life-giving planets

There are some 100 million other places in the Milky Way galaxy that could support complex life, report a group of university astronomers in the journal Challenges. They have developed a new computation method to examine data from planets orbiting other stars in the universe.

Their study provides the first quantitative estimate of the number of worlds in our galaxy that could harbor life above the microbial level.

“This study does not indicate that complex life exists on that many planets. We’re saying that there are planetary conditions that could support it. Origin of life questions are not addressed — only the conditions to support life,” according to the paper’s authors Alberto Fairén, Cornell research associate; Louis Irwin, University of Texas at El Paso (lead author); Abel Méndez, University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo; and Dirk Schulze-Makuch, Washington State University.

“Complex life doesn’t mean intelligent life — though it doesn’t rule it out or even animal life — but simply that organisms larger and more complex than microbes could exist in a number of different forms. For example, organisms that form stable food webs like those found in ecosystems on Earth,” the researchers explain in an auxiliary statement.

The scientists surveyed more than 1,000 planets and used a formula that considers planet density, temperature, substrate (liquid, solid or gas), chemistry, distance from its central star and age. From this information, they developed and computed the Biological Complexity Index (BCI).

The BCI calculation revealed that 1 to 2 percent of the planets showed a BCI rating higher than Europa, a moon of Jupiter thought to have a subsurface global ocean that may harbor forms of life. With about 10 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy, the BCI yields 100 million plausible planets.

Despite the large number of planets that could harbor complex life, the Milky Way is so vast that planets with high BCI values are very far apart, according to the scientists. One of the closest and most promising extrasolar systems, called Gliese 581, has two planets with the apparent, possible capacity to host complex biospheres. The distance from Earth to Gliese 581 is about 20 light years.

“It seems highly unlikely that we are alone,” say the researchers. “We are likely so far away from life at our level of complexity that a meeting with such alien forms might be improbable for the foreseeable future.”

The research, “Assessing the Possibility of Biological Complexity on Other Worlds, With an Estimate of the Occurrence of Complex Life in the Milky Way Galaxy,” in Challenges, received no external funding.

55-year old dark side of the moon mystery solved

The Man in the Moon appeared when meteoroids struck Earth-facing side of the moon creating large flat seas of basalt that we see as dark areas called maria. But no “face” exists on farside of the moon and now, Penn State astrophysicists think they know why.

“I remember the first time I saw a globe of the moon as a boy, being struck by how different the farside looks,” said Jason Wright, assistant professor of astrophysics. “It was all mountains and craters. Where were the maria? It turns out it’s been a mystery since the fifties.”

This mystery is called the Lunar Farside Highlands Problem and dates back to 1959, when the Soviet spacecraft Luna 3 transmitted the first images of the “dark” side of the moon back to Earth. It was called the dark side because it was unknown, not because sunlight does not reach it. Researchers immediately noticed that fewer “seas” or maria existed on this portion of the moon that always faces away from Earth.

Wright, Steinn Sigurdsson, professor of astrophysics and Arpita Roy, graduate student in astronomy and astrophysics, and lead author of the study, realized that the absence of maria, which is due to a difference in crustal thickness between the side of the moon we see and the hidden side, is a consequence of how the moon originally formed. The researchers report their results in today’s (June 9) Astrophysical Journal Letters.

The general consensus on the moon’s origin is that it probably formed shortly after Earth and was the result of a Mars-sized object hitting Earth with a glancing, but devastating impact. This Giant Impact Hypothesis suggests that the outer layers of Earth and the object were flung into space and eventually formed the moon.

“Shortly after the giant impact, Earth and the moon were very hot,” said Sigurdsson.

Earth and the impact object did not just melt; parts of them vaporized, creating a disk of rock, magma and vapor around Earth.

“The moon and Earth loomed large in each others skies when they formed, ” said Roy.

The geometry was similar to the rocky exoplanets recently discovered very close to their stars, said Wright. The moon was 10 to 20 times closer to Earth than it is now, and the researchers found that it quickly assumed a tidally locked position with the rotation time of the moon equal to the orbital period of the moon around Earth. The same real estate on the moon has probably always faced Earth ever since. Tidal locking is a product of the gravity of both objects.

The moon, being much smaller than Earth cooled more quickly. Because Earth and the moon were tidally locked from the beginning, the still hot Earth — more than 2500 degrees Celsius — radiated towards the near side of the moon. The far side, away from the boiling Earth, slowly cooled, while Earth-facing side was kept molten creating a temperature gradient between the two halves.

This gradient was important for crustal formation on the moon. The moon’s crust has high concentrations of aluminum and calcium, elements that are very hard to vaporize.

“When rock vapor starts to cool, the very first elements that snow out are aluminum and calcium,” said Sigurdsson.

Aluminum and calcium would have preferentially condensed in the atmosphere of the cold side of the moon because the nearside was still too hot. Thousands to millions of years later, these elements combined with silicates in the moon’s mantle to form plagioclase feldspars, which eventually moved to the surface and formed the moon’s crust, said Roy. The farside crust had more of these minerals and is thicker.

The moon has now completely cooled and is not molten below the surface. Earlier in its history, large meteoroids struck the nearside of the moon and punched through the crust, releasing the vast lakes of basaltic lava that formed the nearside maria that make up the man in the moon. When meteoroids struck the farside of the moon, in most cases the crust was too thick and no magmatic basalt welled up, creating the dark side of the moon with valleys, craters and highlands, but almost no maria.

Ruimtevaartorganisatie NASA hoopt eind juni een 'vliegende schotel' te testen die in de toekomst een bemande reis naar Mars mogelijk moet maken. Dat hebben projectleiders gezegd. De test is al meerdere malen vertraagd door slecht weer.

NASA bereidt de test samen met de Amerikaanse marine voor op het Hawaïaanse eiland Kauai. Harde winden hebben de lancering van het voertuig met een diameter van 33,5 meter al meerdere malen uitgesteld. De ruimtevaartorganisatie heeft al 110 miljoen euro in het project geïnvesteerd.

NASA is er in het verleden al meerdere keren in geslaagd machines zoals de Rovers op Mars te laten landen. Het probleem met de huidige techniek is echter dat hij niet werkt boven een bepaald gewicht. Een bemande missie naar de Rode Planeet zou betekenen dat het ruimtevaartuig veel zwaarder wordt dan bijvoorbeeld de Curiosity, de rover die in 2012 op Mars landde. De atmosfeer op Mars is veel ijler dan die van de aarde, waardoor de huidige technieken niet voor genoeg remkracht zorgen.

Kogelvis
De experimentele vliegende schotel is geïnspireerd door de kogelvis. Het voertuig is aan de buitenkant feitelijk een grote ballon, die zich opblaast en ervoor moet zorgen dat een uiteindelijk bemand ruimtevaartuig langzaam neerzijgt op Mars, en zich niet met duizelingwekkende snelheid het oppervlak van de planeet in boort.

NASA wil de SIAD, de Supersonic Inflatable Aerodynamic Decelerator, in de stratosfeer testen. Daar lijken de omstandigheden het meest op die op Mars. Met een gigantische heliumballon wordt de schotel naar een hoogte van ruim 36,5 kilometer gebracht. Eenmaal daar wordt een raket ingeschakeld om de weg terug naar de aarde in te zetten en de snelheid te bereiken die een bemand ruimteschip zou halen bij een landing op Mars. Als de schotel eenmaal een snelheid van Mach 4 (4900 kilometer per uur) heeft bereikt moet de ballon zich opblazen. Als de test slaagt en het schip voldoende wordt afgeremd kan vervolgens de parachute opengaan.

De test wordt live uitgezonden op de website van NASA.

NASA plant twee nieuwe onderwatermissies - HLN.be

Het Amerikaanse ruimtevaartbureau NASA plant nog voor dit jaar twee nieuwe missies onder water. Speciaal opgeleide astronauten zullen daarvoor éénmaal negen en éénmaal zeven opeenvolgende dagen doorbrengen in een wetenschappelijk lab ongeveer 20 meter onder het wateroppervlak voor de kust van Florida, zo heeft de NASA meegedeeld.

In het lab zullen experimenten en onderzoeken plaatsvinden, die van nut kunnen zijn voor het leven en het werk van de astronauten in het Internationaal Ruimtestation ISS. "De extreme omgeving onder water benadert het leven in de ruimte zo dicht mogelijk", zei NAS-manager Bill Todd. De missies met de namen "Neemo 18" en "Neemo 19" zijn voor juli en september vastgelegd.

Nieuwe begraafplaats met 50 mummies ontdekt in Egypte  - HLN.be

In de Vallei van de Koningen in Egypte is een nieuwe begraafplaats ontdekt. Daarin bevinden zich een vijftigtal mummies. Het zou gaan om prinsen en prinsessen van de achttiende dynastie van de farao's van het Oude Egypte, die leefden tussen 1550 en 1292 voor Christus. De ontdekking werd bekendgemaakt door het Egyptische ministerie van Oudheden.

Volgens een persbericht van het ministerie gaat het om een grote dodenakker met resten van mummies die de familieleden zouden kunnen zijn van de toenmalige heersers, meer bepaald de kinderen van de farao's Toetmoses III en Toetmoses IV van de achttiende dynastie. De archeologische activiteit in dit deel van de Vallei der Koningen wordt uitgevoerd door het Egyptische ministerie van oudheden in samenwerking met een groep experts van de universiteit van Basel in Zwitserland.

Er zijn houten sarcofagen aangetroffen, en dodenmaskers, evenals grafvazen die menselijke stoffelijke overblijfselen bevatten, nadat de lichamen gebalsemd waren. De opschriften op de grafvazen laten toe op zijn minst dertig namen van personen te ontcijferen die in deze dodenakker werden begraven. Het gaat om een aantal prinsessen die totnogtoe onbekend waren in de Egyptologie", zegt Mohamed Ibrahim, minister van Oudheden.

In de Vallei der Koningen ligt ook het graf van de beroemde farao Toetanchamon.

Voorhoofd van 9.500 jaar oud gevonden in Noordzee - HLN.be

Vissers hebben vanaf de bodem van de Noordzee een menselijk voorhoofd van ongeveer 9.500 jaar oud opgevist. Het is een van de oudste menselijke resten die ooit in of bij Nederland zijn gevonden, stelt de Noord-Hollandse gedeputeerde Elvira Sweet.

Aan het voorhoofd zit nog een stuk schedeldak vast en een stukje van de wenkbrauwboog. Het stuk schedel is van een man, zo is door deskundigen vastgesteld. De prehistorische man heeft waarschijnlijk geleefd op de plek waar de schedel is opgevist, want in die tijd bestond de Noordzee nog niet.

Het schedeldeel is al een poos geleden gevonden, maar vanaf vrijdag te zien in Paviljoen Welgelegen in Haarlem. Vanaf volgend jaar maakt de schedel deel uit van de tentoonstelling in het nieuwe archeologiecentrum van Noord-Holland, Huis van Hilde. Daar wordt het verhaal van de geschiedenis van Noord-Holland verteld vanaf de prehistorie tot en met de Tweede Wereldoorlog.

Secretary of State Cordell Hull Saw Aliens

Washington D.C. -- William E. Jones Ohio MUFON reports, “This information has recently been given to researchers by descendants of Secretary of State Cordell Hull who was the longest serving Secretary of State. He held the position for 11 years (1933–1944) in the administration of President Franklin Roosevelt and during much of World War II. Hull received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1945 for his role in establishing the United Nations, and was referred to by President Roosevelt as the "Father of the United Nations".   He told his family he saw four large glass-like jars holding four creatures and a wrecked round craft of some kind being kept in a subbasement in the US Capitol building in 1939. He described the creatures as less than four feet tall and the object as being silvery metallic in nature. The object appeared to have been taken apart in pieces. The color of the material was of a color that he had never seen before, but for the lack of a better word he used “silver”.   It seems to indicate that the US Government had already recovered crashed “aliens” before 1947. There are other reports from other countries such as Italy indicating that such recoveries had been made in the 1930’s and early 40’s.

Aliens May Live on Space Ships

The late Sam Sherman the president of Independent International Pictures writes, "Where do Aliens come from? When interviewed for my still-unreleased film- "Beyond This Earth".

Astronaut Col. Gordon Cooper spoke about one reported instance where: "Aliens were living on their ships, as they had lost their sun in their own solar system". A possible hypothesis may be that some ET groups live on large ships or space platforms, as has been reported, not on planetary bodies, and these huge craft loop in and around our planet. Further they send out smaller scout craft for missions to Earth to obtain entertainment, food, water, and minerals. The concept and artist's drawing is contained in Ernest Jahn's and Margaret Sachs book "Celestial Passengers UFO's and Space Travel." A space colony habitat was designed by NASA Ames Research Center to carry several hundred thousand people. The space habitat would be 16 miles long by four miles wide and have its own atmosphere and clouds. Only 2% of the materials would come from Earth, the remaining 98% would come from the moon. Not only does the moon yield an abundant supply of substances such as aluminum, concrete, soil, oxygen, and water, but lifting the materials off the moon will require twentieth of the energy needed to lift them off Earth, because the Moon has a much weaker gravitational pull. We have to remember that Earth also is a spaceship. On Earth there are dangers in the form of earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, and tornadoes. If aliens were living not too far from Earth in space they may have a short ride to visit us. The dark eyes often described by abductees may be permanent eyeglasses to protect sensitive eyes from the glare of our powerful sun or the bright light created by their propulsion systems.

It happens there are five places in space (L-1 thru L-5) known as Lagrangian Libration Points where a space ship can stay with little if any energy needed. L-4 and L-5 are particularly well balanced where the gravitational and centrifugal forces of the Earth and Moon cancel each other out. Any object within one of these roughly spherical areas would remain orbiting around the Earth just as our Moon does. This is roughly a 60 degree angle in front and behind the moon essentially along its orbital path. Astronomers may wish to examine that portion of the sky to see if any small moonlets or space ships are orbiting our Earth.

Lucas – Humanoid ResearcherAlbert Rosales writes, 19-year old Dallas Adams was pumping gas into his car at a local convenience store in early July 2010. A man and his son stood at the pump opposite Adams, a woman at her car was behind him. When the gas nozzle clicked, Adams placed it back into the pump and went inside the store. Things were different when he came out. “There was no line in the gas station,” Adams said “I bought cigarettes and walked out but when I came out my car was the only one there. I had only been in the gas station for maybe two and a half minutes. As soon as I noticed everyone was gone I felt scared but couldn’t figure out why.”

Then he saw a strange man standing by his car. As Adams walked by him, he noticed an odor as if the man had not showered in weeks. “He looked like an average guy but when I looked at him I felt scared, like my life was about to end,” Adams said. “I went to my car and looked at him---he was staring at me.” The possible alien who looked like this photo came closer to Adams as he stood at the driver’s side door, walking in long steps. “I need a ride,” the humanoid said, the force in his voice striking Adams like something physical. “It scared me to death,” Adams said, “I said, ‘what?’ And he said, ‘give me a ride.’ Then Adams saw what frightened him. “His eyes were completely black. No whites, no nothing, just black,” Adams said, “When I was talking to this thing I could smell its breath, which was horrible.” Adams worked up the courage to ask where the black-eyed man wanted to go. The man simply replied, “Just give me a ride.” I said, “I am sorry, I can’t, and then he took a few steps toward me,” Adams said, “His walk was kind of odd, but stopped as this conversation was happening.” But what terrified Adams were the man’s eyes. “I couldn’t take my eyes off of his,” Adams said. “It was like they were sucking me in.” As Adams stood, watching the strange man with the black eyes approach him, something broke whatever held Adam’s gaze and he hopped into his car and sped away. Angles and Demons Spiritual Natural Selection Chapter Two

Paranormal researcher Joshua P. Warren writes, “If we strip away all the noise, and look at life from the most objective and clinical point of view, all living things consume energy.” Each breath of air you take, or sip of liquid, each gulp of food; every time you push a gas pedal or turn a switch on, you are consuming energy. Since angels and demons are living things. We know that natural selection exists. We can watch it happening every day. The reason we must constantly update vaccines is that harmful germs continue to strengthen. The few strong ones that are able to fend off a vaccine survive to pass along their strong genes, eventually creating a stronger generation of germs. The new vaccines must be formed to combat their evolution. This same on-going struggle is seen between insects that devour crops, and the insecticides used to keep them at bay. And the process works even more simply with obvious traits. There are few dark-colored creatures in snowy regions because they stand out more against the background, making themselves easily-targeted prey for predators. Therefore, their genes do not get passed along. In the world of rational thinkers, natural selection is an obvious fact of life. However, it seems logical that this basic system would also function throughout all forms of life, including those that are primarily non-physical to us. And so, spiritual natural selection must exist, as well. Thus, where do humans fall in the lineup? If we look at humans as spiritual beings, in addition to their mere physical shells, we gain a clearer idea of how the spirit has evolved, and will continue to do so. For clues on how this evolution transpired, let us look back at the physical world of organisms.

Animals are desperate to survive, and so they thoughtlessly consume. This is why a lion might eat every gazelle on his plain with delight, only to find there are eventually no more left to reproduce and maintain his food supply. At that point, the lion may starve. Similarly, a dog might wolf down a chunk of meat in an alleyway, only to be poisoned and die. This approach to survival is limited in sight, providing the sense of immediate fulfillment, but at the risk of long-term survival. This is an unenlightened way of consuming. On the other hand, humans have learned to tend to their food supply. We try to protect the populations we eat, ensuring that cattle and fish reproduce to maintain what is needed. We try to limit how much we take from a land to retain its ability to grow more crops. And we work together, through advanced communication and complex societies striving to ensure that food is prepared and served in a safe and healthy fashion. This is why humans have generally and consistently lived longer, healthier lives as the ages have progressed. So let us apply these two models to spiritual evolution. A less-evolved spiritual creature would be one that consumes selfishly and stupidly. A more-evolved spiritual creature would be one that has understood a valuable lesson about how the universe works: the more you give, the more you receive. Sun Erupts with 3rd Huge Solar Flare in 2 Days

The sun is hitting its stride. Earth's closest star shot off yet another powerful solar flare today (June 11) after producing a pair of major solar storms Tuesday. The X1-class flare reached its peak at 5:06 a.m. EDT (0906 GMT) and came from Region 2087 near the southeastern limb of the sun's disk, the same region of the star that produced the two powerful solar flares yesterday. NASA captured an amazing video of the X1 solar flare using its space-based Solar Dynamics Observatory. Wednesday’s solar tempest did cause a brief radio blackout on Earth, but officials with the U.S. Space Weather Prediction Center based in Boulder, Colorado. These three flares bring the total number of documented X-flares unleashed by the sun in 2014 to eight. Sightings in the United States

Arizona Disc

Phoenix -- Having become bored with the Crab Eyes photos I've been capturing in the sky, I recently decided to lower my aim and start focusing a little closer to the horizon. I discovered that when I can catch a UFO just above some roof tops it tends to make the photo a bit more exciting. When taking photos I've been basically just shooting blind and download my pictures and examine my catch to reveal these UFOs. I should also mention that on June 2, 2014, a Crab Eyes UFO eased up on me at a very low altitude, at around 12:30 PM. While having my last smoke, a narrow rectangular cloud came sliding along from the southwest and then stopped just short of being directly overhead. This rectangular band was the only cloud this low and moving this deliberately. The cloud was more dense at the outer edges, and thin in the middle, making me suspect it was a Crab Eyes concealing itself. After finishing my cigarette I waved at them, and then lifted my cup of coffee upwards as a gesture of salute. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Alabama Triangle

Ranburns -- An Alabama witness driving east on I-20 nearing exit 205 reported stopping her vehicle at 2 AM to watch a silent triangle-shaped UFO “as large as a football field.”It was moving slowly at the tree top level that terrified her and caused missing time on January 20, 2014. She noticed an 18-wheeler stop about a mile behind her. “I topped the hill and far in the distance on my right side I saw the most extreme, bright, white lights lighting up the entire side of the road and pasture,” the witness stated. “I was very confused as to what I was looking at. I began to slow my speed as I approached closer and then I noticed the lights that were shinning straight through the tree line onto the interstate had not only risen to above the tree line, but had also turned from pointing toward the road to pointing toward the ground.” The witness then completely stopped her car as an 18-wheeler also stopped about a mile behind her opened his cab door. The lights were at the tree top level with lights pointing toward the ground apparently searching for something. “The lights were attached to a very large, triangle-shaped object that had rounded edges where the point of a triangle would be. There was no sound and its lights suddenly shut off. “The triangle flew over me at tree top level heading northwest.” It was a hundred yards long, bigger than a football field and 50 to 60 feet thick. Aranghata – Seven lights hovering in formation on focus looks like light glowing from human like shapes. I was at a nearby shop, few people were gazing at that light hovering west in the sky and asked me what it is, it looked like a blue light spot hovering in the sky, for a clear view.   I ran and brought my point and shoot and clicked a few pictures on full zoom, on focus it looked like 7 or 8 spots of light, on a better focus it appeared like light glowing from cylindrical shapes, the thing was frequently changing elevation and hovering and moving in all directions and at times was stationary. Pittsfield -- It was Easter Sunday, May 20, 2014, we were outside for a walk when my grandson pointed at the cylinder in the sky. He was excited, and we were puzzled as to what it was, it didn't make any noise and didn't really move it was just sort of hanging there in the sky.  We were excited to see something so different so took a picture of it were thinking maybe it was a satellite? We told our friends and family and then kind of forgot about it, we were waiting for it to do something but it just moved away, we watched it until we couldn't see it any more. Nevada Orb and Disc

Las Vegas - We were on Fremont Street watching a concert looked up saw an object moving in the sky followed it till it disappeared behind building on June 6, 2014..

I was surprised because it did not look like an airplane or helicopter and I was able to get a short video of it. The object looked white and had an oval shape bit I heard no sound due to music playing. Thanks to MUFON CMS 

LasVegas -- I went outside for my cigarette before work and looked up to the sky and saw this object on May 8, 2014. I want to know what it was. It made no noise, and flashed randomly with light reflecting off it. It moved very quickly and straight down almost. As I was watching it I felt a bit uneasy so I just stopped recording and went back inside. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New Jersey Lights

Newark – I was in my backyard barbecuing with my family having a good time and I looked up and happened to see a shiny sphere with a dome (UFO) with yellow lights. At first glance I thought it was a UFO due to it being so shiny and spinning. I always bring my camera and took four pictures and previewed the pictures. It was a sphere with a dome. I tried to take a video but it was gone after 90 seconds. I still cannot believe I have this picture on my camera. My neighbor’s jaw dropped and said wow you caught a real one with a dome. It’s a great feeling to see a UFO that is out of this world. 

West Trenton – Iwas driving home from dinner on June 3, 2014, at 8:15 pm, when I turned onto my road, and noticed an incredible fog rolling into the 300+ acre field across the street from my house. I pulled my car over and took several pictures of the fog rolling in and posted seven fog pictures to Facebook. Later in the evening, I looked at the pictures and noticed three objects in a triangle formation. I downloaded the picture into my Mac Book Air and they appear round and metallic with a disturbance around each object. I did NOT see or hear the objects. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New York Lights

North Creek – In the early morning of June 4th 2014, looking out I saw from three bright lights moving in the distance coming across the mountain. I grabbed my cell phone, and captured two lights the size of basketballs. They kept getting larger as they approached and I was able to get five seconds of video when the camera stopped. I reset the phone to pictures and captured two orbs. I sat there unbelieving for about 10 minutes as the first orb began to move closer. Suddenly another comet-like object streaked in near the first orb and both passed out of view around the edge of the house. My attention was then focused on the two other orbs, slowly moving down across the mountain, through the trees about 75 yards away. The one on the left descended out of sight and the one on the right descended through the trees. This caused it to appear to be blinking as I finally lost sight of it. I went in the house and poured a drink and sent a facebook message to my daughters at 2:21 am. Strangely the time stamp on the video is 08/19/2013 at 08:33 pm. North Carolina Triangles

Winston-Salem – “I traveled from Charlotte for a job interview as I approached Lake Norman on I-77 in my Cadillac in January 1998, under a clear blue sky. I noticed three dark objects approaching fascinated at their shapes between watching the road and the objects. Traffic was light and I slowed down so I could be under them when they crossed I-77. I leaned my head out the driver's window to look straight up at huge silent hovering triangles. They were longer in the direction they were moving by about 1 to 3 to their back widths. They crossed over almost directly over head but there was NO detail anywhere on the objects flying in formation. I glanced back at the road and they were gone in half a-second.

Charlotte -- I was on my way to the store with a group of friends on the night of June 6, 2014, we saw others looking into the sky east of Charlotte. At first glance they looked like stars but were moving and pulsating with a beautiful white glow. They were also flicking in sync and flying in a flock like formation. The lights were blinking off and on, but the photo only captures two at a time. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Stoutsville -- My sister and I were driving about a mile from home about 10 pm, on May 19, 2014, when she spotted a flying object. At first I didn't believe her and kept driving but when we got super close to it, I stopped the car and shut the lights off. The object was shaped like a typical saucer with rotating lights on the outer rim. It stayed in that spot for over a minute then the light went off and we couldn't see it again. We raced home scared. We tried to take pictures, but when we got home to show our dad they were no longer on our phone. We were standing outside when my boyfriend pointed out to the field across the street and there was the thing again the same as before. It rotated around with lights on, and then the lights disappeared and we couldn't see it again. About 15 minutes later, we all saw this orb-looking thing shoot through the field super-fast. My boyfriend and dad went walking over to the field to see if they could see anything and the orb went back to the left side of the field then straight up. After that we didn't see anything again. South Dakota Object near Plane

Rapid City -- My husband and I were in the garage on June 5, 2014, when we heard the sound of jets directly over the cabin and so I wanted to take photos for my brother-in-law (who owns the cabin) due to his interest in military machines. I took some photos with my Samsung Galaxy S5 and has a feature which ticks me off where it can takes pictures in rapid succession. This happened yesterday. I would have been happy with a couple of pictures of the fighter jets. They were flying fast and low maybe two hundred feet off the ground. Their altitude remained low even with the object going at them. I took a series of 11 photos. I believe the fighter jets were headed to Ellsworth Air Force Base. It was not until I looked at the photos in the evening that I had captured something that was not an aircraft flying near the jets. The photos are open to interpretation and I sent them for your organization to analyze. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Washington Sphere

Spokane Valley -- A large white almost translucent looking spherical object with lights around its middle was seen over Spokane, at 8 pm, on June 1, 2014. I noticed a large star in our western sky and realized that it was too early for stars to be visible, and there were none others visible. My friends asked how long it had been there and I replied about ten minutes, she said go get your telescope which I did. The object was spherical with lights around its middle very clearly visible. It changed many times its attitude, as it seemed to tip and its lights were close to vertical, then it would right itself and the lights that were around it were again horizontal. This was witnessed by me and five other adults that were nearby, all agreed that what we were witnessing matched the description given above. It was visible for nearly 30-40 minutes. Australia Sightings

Brisbane, Queensland -- It was early in the morning at about 4-5 AM, onMay 25th 2014, so I was in a reclined position leaning against my chair and I see everything outside. This was about 5-8 minutes before the sun lit up the sky; so you could still make out the stars very clearly. I looked up at that very moment to see a dark grey/black elongated oval like object suspended in the sky. Its size was something like one of those Hindenburg Dirigibles and was the same distance you'd see a helicopter flying, but larger. There were two or three lights fixed on the pointed sides of the oval like object. It was hovering silently shooting a red star up to look like any other star, except it was red. After that, the object started to move about the speed of a typical commercial airplane until it eventually passed over the roof and out of my sight.   Burwood, Victoria – Three witnesses saw a fast moving green orb heading NNW at high speed on May 25th 2014, at 6.20 PM, in a straight line and disappeared behind buildings. Croydon, Melbourne, Victoria – On May 25th 2014, at 7:00 PM, driving up Plymouth Road from Maroondah Highway. In Croydon Hills we saw a large green round circle object flying across sky above the fog towards Kinglake. Townsville, Queensland -- I was sitting watching TV, when a very bright blue fireball seemed to light up the sky on May 25th 2014 at 11:45 PM. The sighting was only for a few seconds. We have high trees that partially blocked the view and as the ball seemingly fell in an arc and went behind the trees. The glow was as bright as high powered stadium lights. Belgium Lights

Brussels – I travelled to Brussels to visit a friend who was my tourist guide on January 30, 2014. Our tour ended up in the main city square called "Grand Place". It is such a beautiful square with well lighted historic buildings. I have always loved astronomy and could identify different constellations and stars in the clear sky that I well know. My friend took her pictures with her new Smartphone and I took my photos with my Canon camera. Curiously, the UFO lights only appeared on the pictures taken by my friend. She also decided to take the pictures using the automatic shooting mode. This way, the mobile's camera takes 3 pictures automatically in less than 5 seconds. We noticed the UFO lights once we returned to our corresponding homes. I have counted around 10-12 lights in total that were visible in the cameras. Thanks to MUFON CMS  

Canada Triangle Fast moving Objects

Oakville, Ontario -- Every night my co-worker and I eat lunch together outside. Being an amateur astronomer I always scan the sky as I did on June 4, 2014, and quickly noticed almost straight up a light moving at about three times the speed of a passenger plane at cruising altitude. The object had three points of light and was possibly a triangle. It was too high to see any details other than the lights but it was moving fast. Richmond, Ontario -- Taking pictures of the bright clouds on June 8, 2014 and I said to my boyfriend, “Do you sometimes see things up there in your photos?” and he says, “Yes you do.” I looked at my photos when I sat down. I said, “They look wow, there it is, my boy friend couldn't believe me either. So he tried it but it didn't work. Italy Object

Rimini – A black cubic like object at first hovered and then ascended straight up until it became invisible flying right into space on May 31, 2014. I have been an amateur astronomer for almost 40 years. We have witnessed many things up in the air during daytime like balloons. When we first saw this object it was bigger and completely black and appeared cubic shaped. It was silent during the event that lasted about 6 minutes. After three minutes I took two pictures of the phenomena with a 60 mm lens. The pictures show the object was definitely moving straight up. There were four Italians, and both of us are Belgian. Being a scientist I feel the need to report this.   Our eyes could be playing tricks on us. Maybe other reports can also confirm this sighting and that's why I post it. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Mexico UFO near miss with jet Aircraft

Tijuana -- This footage of a UFO shooting past the plane is incredible. Not only can we see the UFO clearly, but the UFO passes behind the chemtrail of the plane on May 20, 2014. Nicaragua Mushroom

Granada -- I was recently flipping through some pictures I took of my trip in 2011 and two pictures contained strange objects in the sky. If you zoom in with Windows Photo Viewer, you can see these objects take better shape. I didn't even notice these objects until now. I know the date by checking my passport. I don't believe these objects to be anything on the lens because I took numerous pictures and all the others are clear without anything else in the sky with the exception of black birds. I am curious to get some insight as to what these objects may be. I don't buy that they are balloons or weather phenomenon but rather some sort of craft. I used a Sony point and shoot camera with I believe 10-12 megapixel capability without any editing. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Romanian Military Airport

At the Mihai Kogalniceanu military airport, north of Constanta, several supersonic MIG-29 fighter aircraft pilots of the Aviation Group 57 had witnessed an unidentified aerospace phenomenon. The event took place in the second half of March 1989, between the hours of 3 and 9 PM, the unit, consisting then of 18-20 pilots, executed a shooting exercise with a day and night flights. “It was announced that the training flights were halted and the pilots were stripped of their equipment.”

The sky was clear Colonel (ret.) Aurelian Dobre remembers I was talking with some fellow pilots and saw many tube lights and told the other pilots to come outside including Colonel (ret.) Paul Otelea, commander of the MIG -23s. We all went to see a triangular train of silver white cylinders that moved north at an angle of 25 degrees and about 7,000 meters high. As they passed over he heard “a noise that resembled with the rustle of a flock of birds in flight, as the lights faded out towards Ukraine.” Colonel (ret.) Dan Aioanei, who at the time was commander of MIG-29 unit stated, "From Medgidia, a formation of 8 or 9 flowing objects were approaching. They looked like neon tubing, several kilometers long each, and were thus positioned relative to one another that form a "V"formation. From the distance, the tubes seem to have a diameter of 15-20 cm, so in reality they have 2-3 meters. Travel speed must have been at least supersonic. They were flying very high, at an altitude of over 3,000 meters. The formation left no light trail. The "tubes" disappeared east of Tulcea. UK/England Disc

London -- My son was walking home from school on June 2nd 2014, in the vicinity of Eascote in North West London and noticed a disc shaped object hovering just below cloud level. It was up to half a mile from him at 4:17 pm. It was a grey disc hovering above. He could see the underbelly of the object and the rim of the object for some 10 to 15 seconds. He later pointed out to me that it must have been a fairly large object as he estimated it to be at least half a mile away. He took a photograph of the object with his smart phone camera and the craft then started to change its colour by blotching different areas of its undercarriage to match the cloud around it. He observed this change of colour for up to seven seconds before the craft completely disappeared from view. At no time during this transformation did the craft move position and neither did it make a sound that he could detect. My son said that he had the distinct impression that the craft was still there but had somehow cleverly masked itself to the naked eye. He became scared, rang his mother to tell her about the disc and ran home. Thanks to MUFON CMS  

Manchester – I went into our back garden and saw a white orb traveling silently over the back of the house on June 5, 2014. I grabbed my Sony handy cam SR170 and began filming for nearly 4 minutes. After my analysis it appears to be to be a flying saucer and is metallic in nature and has an opening in the bottom of the craft. I think it must be some kind of exhaust duct. What do you think? New Jersey Truck Crash Kills

New Jersey State Police] says the driver of the tractor-trailer failed to observe slow-moving traffic ahead on June 7, at 1 AM.,” Williams said. “At the last minute, he swerved and braked to try avoid the Mercedes limo bus but struck it from behind, forcing the limo to rotate and overturn.”   Tracey Morgan (shown) of Saturday Night Live was flown by helicopter to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he was taken to the intensive care unit. Six others were also rushed to the hospital and limo passenger, 63-year-old James McNair of Peekskill, New York, was killed

The truck could not slow down quick enough to avoid the accident.   While Tracy remains in critical condition, and sustained a number of injuries including a broken leg, a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs. He had surgery earlier today on his leg. We expect him to remain in the hospital for several weeks. The Walmart truck driver was charged Saturday evening with death by auto has pleaded not guilty after he caused an accident that killed one person and injured six, including actor Tracy Morgan.   The New York Times identified the driver as Kevin Roper, 35, who has been charged with death by auto charges. Roper was driving a Walmart truck when it was unable to down quickly enough to avoid hitting the limo. The truck driver claims the news reports were wrong and he has pleaded not guilty in an initial court appearance.   Better truck braking may have avoided the crash.
