Wisconsin witnesses at Fort Atkinson drove closer to “orange flashing lights in the sky” about 10 p.m. on June 2, 2014, and saw “a large orange ball of light behind a cloud” that lit up the horizon as it flashed, according to testimony in Case 56788 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witnesses’ son first saw the orange flashing lights in the sky just east of Fort Atkinson and asked him and his wife to step outside for a look.

“At times blue and red beams seemed to shoot through the trees,” the witness stated. “It looked as if kids were playing with laser pointers in the distance.”

Curious about what the lights were, the witness and his son drove to the Purdy Elementary School parking lot only to encounter yet another anomaly.

“The street lights in the area were flickering when we saw the light in the sky.”

To get a better view of the lights, the two decided to then drive east to Hommerson’s Pond.

“We watched for about five minutes. Orange flashing lights seemed to be behind the tree line so we drove again to get a better look. We drove about 5 – 8 miles down 106 east and pulled over to the side of the road. We now had a great view of a large orange ball of light behind a cloud.”

The witness described the scene.

“It was a clear sky but the strange lights always had a cloud around them. When it lit up, the whole horizon was orange. We saw a large white light that looked like it was getting closer to us in the sky.”

The two became frightened and decided to drive home.

Fort Atkinson is a city in Jefferson County, WI, population 12,368. Wisconsin MUFON is investigating. Wisconsin has a current UFO Alert Rating of 5 with a low number of recent reports nationally. Wisconsin had 11 UFO reports in May 2014 – the 19^th highest reporting state  – while California had 102 reports as the highest reporting state. The above quotes were edited for clarity. The UFO Alert Rating System is based on five levels – 1 through 5 – where states with 150 or more reports for the month are rated an Alert 1; states with 100 or more reports are rated an Alert 2; 25 reports or more for the month are rated an Alert 3; 13 or more reports are rated an Alert 4; and those states with less than 13 reports for the month are an Alert 5.

So this happened a few years ago, while sitting here reading other stories I remembered it and decided to post it. I used to work shift and the evening shift was 2pm-10pm. My dad would pick me up every time I worked the evening shift. This one night we’re driving home from him picking me up from work and we’re basically the only people on the road. Far in the distance you can faint lights of vehicles that are approaching. I am tired and we’re not talking much but as I glance across the street to the opposite side of the road, I think I see what looks like a person just standing there. I keep glancing at this figure and then directly in front of us looking at the vehicles that are passing and the headlights that would emit a bit of light in the direction of this thing, trying to make it out. We come closer to where its standing and I tell my dad that I think that there’s someone on the other side of the road. He isn’t paying much attention to me and soon I see the figure start to walk across the street. Dad is gunning it because it’s late and he’s tired from waiting up for me to finish my shift. I tell him “daddy I think someone is crossing the street” He ignores me still and speeds up. This figure is directly in front of us and the lights from our vehicle shines right through the legs of this person that also looks bare as though their wearing shorts and they look barefoot. We drive through this and all my hairs stand on end….my dad is silent and I am in shock because I am not sure of what I just saw. When we reach the crossroad that takes us to our town, my father slows down and says ‘did you see that just now?’ and I reply asking if it looked like we drove through someone. He replies yes and confirms what I know I just saw. To this day I still have no idea what/who that was and when I bring it up, my father is still amazed at the experience. People have died on that stretch of road, the last being an old man who rode a bicycle every morning to and from the village. Weird Footprint in Malaysia

t seems that residents at Kampung Seri Aman Dalam, Puchong, might be worried about a close encounter of the giant kind after a resident found four huge footprints that measured 23 inches long.

This is yet another incident that was brought to light after a police report made by the resident began circulating online.

The report, made by 68-year-old Kamaruddin Isamail, mentioned the discovery of the giant-sized footprints near a field at Lot 123, Lorong 4, Kampung Seri Aman Dalam in Puchong at 9.55am this morning.

He stated in his report that he saw three footprints in the shape of a human foot, which measured up to 23 inches long, that “seemed rather weird” to him.

When The Rakyat Post contacted Kamaruddin, he confirmed making the report and said there were actually four footprints, but only three of them were clearly seen.

“It’s something that is weird. In my 30 years of staying here I have never found such a thing.”

He said upon making the report, which he did because it was an unnatural occurrence, he was visited by a police sergeant after which he called officers from the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan).

“Perhilitan came to see me. Even they said they had never seen such a thing and couldn’t determine what kind of print it was.

“It’s weird and it is something very worrying,” added Kamaruddin.

When asked what he thought it could be, he said he had heard of stories about giants and genies, but he did not know them to be true.

When contacted this evening on the issue, Serdang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Razimi Ahmad told The Rakyat Post that he wasn’t aware of the incident at the time.

However, a quick call to the Bukit Puchong police station where the report was made, confirmed that the report was genuine and was lodged by Kamaruddin this morning.

Meanwhile, Kamaruddin said he was to meet the village committee tonight on the incident to find out if such a footprint was real and perhaps shed light on what it could be. – The Rakyat Post

Chupacabras in York, PA?

Hello,
I live in York, Pennsylvania and have witnessed what I believe to be a Chupacabra. Pennsylvania is known for its woods and farmland, but where I live there are lots of businesses, with wooded areas and small farms in the surrounding area. I was driving to work several months ago around 5:30 pm and was driving on the on ramp to I-83 off of Queen St. and spotted what I thought at first was a dog crossing the highway. My first thoughts were “Oh my God someone’s dog is about to get creamed!” but as I looked closer it looked different than any dog I’ve seen before. It was larger than a beagle, yet smaller than a labrador. It actually reminded me of a kangaroo because it’s front legs appeared to be shorter than the back legs and it had a rather long slender head in proportion to its body. The fur was grey and very short, possibly hairless. I’m just assuming it was patchy or what some would call mangy because there were discolorations. The tail was thick where it was attached to it’s body then tapered into a very thin hairless tail. This thing walked across the highway and hopped over the median to the other side like it was king of the world and had absolutely no fear of the cars that were fast approaching, I couldn’t believe it made it across completely unscathed! When it crossed the other side of the highway it escaped off into someones backyard which was actually a small farm. I’m 27 years old and have never seen anything like that in my life. I’ve seen several videos on tv about the chupacabra and have even went back and looked at several videos of what people believe is the chupacabra and it is an exact match. Even the description I have given is the same as what others are that have seen what they also believe to be the Chupacabra! The odd thing is most of these sightings are in Texas, but a lot of weird things happen in PA! Thank You for letting me share.

Man lost wife in gamble over bottle of booze

Authorities in Bihar, eastern India, are flummoxed after a man allegedly lost his wife in a gamble for a bottle of alcohol.

The saga came to light after the woman contacted a women’s helpline over the weekend. She told the authorities how a man had been calling her on her cell phone claiming that he was her new husband. The victim is a resident of Bihta town in Patna district.

“She [the victim] told us how a local man had been calling her on her mobile [phone] for some time claiming to be her new husband and threatening her with dire consequences if she did not talk properly with him whenever he called her,” the women’s helpline project director Pramila Kumari said on Monday.

She added that an investigation had been ordered into the case. She also sought legal action against the accused if the incident was found to be true. The caller also informed her that her husband is a drunkard who always assaults her while under the influence of alcohol.

Roswell, reverse-engineering and Project Serpo: information vs. disinformation

If you examine recent history, even without particular attention, you should notice pretty soon that in the last fifty years there has been a technological breakthrough that has led to impressive inventions that were absolutely unimaginable just a few years earlier. In many cases, moreover, we haven’t witnessed a step by step evolution due to a series of progressive achievements but, on the contrary, a lot of discoveries seemingly have come out of nowhere. Thinking about these inventions as something 100% terrestrial would be totally legitimate, if only the former head of the Foreign Technology Division at the Pentagon, U.S. Army Colonel Philip J. Corso, had not related a completely different story that not only showed in a plausible way how it was possible to make these outstanding discoveries, but also fitted perfectly the overall framework of the Roswell affair.

After hearing claims of that kind, the first aspect that must be taken into consideration is whether the source of such claims is reliable or not. In this regard, the American researcher Larry Bryant, through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, was able to get Philip J. Corso’s Department of the Army Form 66, Officer Qualification Record, which summarizes his military career. In a nutshell, he served 21 years in the Army, from 1942 to 1963, he was awarded the Legion of Merit and, besides being a member of the National Security Council, on June 20, 1961, he was assigned to the Foreign Technology Division as a Staff officer and then, on July 18, 1962, he was assigned as Staff officer in the Plans Division, Office of the Chief of Research and Development (OCRD).

In 1997, Colonel Corso took the field with a series of deflagrating statements: the Roswell UFO crash did really happen, the craft was a biological spaceship that worked in conjunction with a crew of Extraterrestrial Biological Entities (EBEs) who drove it through a particular neural interface. Corso said that, executing General Arthur Trudeau’s orders at the Pentagon, he was responsible for handing the parts of the recovered flying saucer to several U.S. companies connected to the U.S. Army in a reverse engineering operation.

The connection between Colonel Corso and the Roswell case dates back long before the Sixties. In his autobiographical book “The Day After Roswell”, Colonel Corso reports that, in early July 1947, when he was assigned to Fort Riley (Kansas), five trucks of 25 tons and some semitrailers entered the base, coming from Fort Bliss, Texas, and headed to the Air Material Command at Wright Field, Ohio. That night Corso was patrolling the base and, when he approached the medical facilities, was called by Sergeant Brown who, in an altered voice, urged him to come in and have a look. Since he had a security clearance, Corso entered the building and saw a series of boxes stacked along the wall; Sergeant Brown told him that the drivers of the trucks had claimed that they were the remains of an air-crash. Corso came close to a box and then lifted the lid after loosening the nails. By using a flashlight, he saw that there was a thick glass container with a blue liquid where a strange figure was suspended.For a moment, he thought it was a child, but soon realized that he was wrong: it was a humanoid, about four feet high, four-fingered hands and a disproportioned bulb-shaped head, with eyes without irises, huge orbits, elongated thin lips and a small nose. Taken by utmost amazement, Corso looked for the delivery note and found a document stating the creature had been retrieved on a craft which had crashed near Roswell at the beginning of the week and had had to be taken to the pathology department of the Walter Reed Military Hospital. Corso closed the box carefully, still upset by what he had seen.

The memory of that day, despite being always vivid, was set aside in the following years, since he had not the opportunity to know further details about that alien corpse. This until he was assigned to the Foreign Technology Division at the Pentagon, under the orders of General Arthur G.Trudeau, where his job was that of sending several unknown items to companies and scientists whose fields of specialization were more suitable in order to try to unravel the secrets behind alien technology.

It did not take long to see the results of this reverse engineering operation: night goggles, image intensifiers, fiber optics, aligned molecules used in the manufacture of bulletproof vests (i.e. kevlar), transistors, lasers, all discoveries that, perhaps, without a “little” help from an extraterrestrial civilization would have been made in a remote future.

The testimony of Colonel Philip J. Corso is very important not only because it comes from a highly decorated military man, but also because it fits perfectly in a precise framework of events, providing further credibility to the case that, to date, is no doubt the most convincing one with regards to the presence of alien activity on our planet. Indeed, Corso not only provided a direct confirmation to the recovery of extraterrestrial entities in the desert of New Mexico in 1947, but he also made us understand how the technological leap of the latest decades had been possible all of a sudden. It would be very easy to say that he was crazy, but his credentials are visible to all.

From Roswell to Serpo

The Roswell affair, however, besides Corso’s testimony, presents a series of interesting side events that are quite difficult to judge considering that in many cases the evidences supporting them are, unlike the well grounded core of the Roswell UFO crash, just rumors and odd coincidences. Anyway, given the importance of the Roswell affair, every story somehow related to it must be duly regarded with much more attention, since there may be another piece to add to a mosaic whose global look is already well defined.

One of the most intriguing and, at the same time, hotly debated side event is the so-called Project Serpo, an alleged exchange program between the United States of America and an extraterrestrial race that would have taken place between 1965 and 1978.

After hearing a claim like this, it is essential to investigate thoroughly the source from which the information has come out.The first vague reference to an exchange program between the U.S. government and an extraterrestrial civilization was made in 1983, when the famous researcher Linda Moulton Howe – who was producing for HBO a documentary called The ET Factor - was approached by Richard C. Doty, special agent of the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), who told her that he had obtained a security clearance that enabled him to provide her with official documents, photographs and videos concerning a human-alien exchange program: it would have begun in 1964, when an alien spaceship would have taken off from Holloman Air Force Base, with a human crew on board, heading to Zeta Reticuli. Later, however, Doty sat back and said that his clearance had been revoked and that, therefore, he could no longer release any information.

But who is Richard C. Doty? In the transcript of a telephone interview with Philip Klass, Doty says that his father, Edward Doty, was in the Air Force, and was at Holloman AFB from 1962 to 1964.

It seems that Richard worked at Kirtland AFB in 1980, since that is when the Bennewitz affair took place. In the early 1980s, Paul Bennewitz started to report strange lights over the Manzano area of Kirtland Air Force Base, and claimed to have recorded unusual signals emanating from the base that he believed being of extraterrestrial origin.

According to Doty, he tried and managed to convince Bennewitz that he was actually experiencing extraterrestrial phenomena and that there was an alien base under nearby Archuleta Mountain, the so-called Dulce base.

According to famous researcher William Moore, by the time he was sent to investigate Bennewitz’s claims in 1982, Doty had been feeding the man disinformation for two years.

As you can see, Doty’s background is totally compromised and leaves room to think that he is a disinformation agent.

The Serpo affair

In 2005 the Serpo affair was brought in broad daylight on a private UFO email list moderated by Victor Martinez, a former employee of several U.S. federal agencies.

On November 2, 2005, a retired senior official within the US Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) who called himself “Request Anonymous” started to release information about said exchange program on that UFO email list.

All of the information presented to Victor Martinez by “Request Anonymous” – as proved beyond any reasonable doubt – came in fact from Richard C. Doty. Doty denied any involvement in the story, despite the massive amount of evidence to the contrary.

These data are strictly connected to the Roswell incident: Anonymous claimed that one crew member had survived after the crash and had been brought, along with several other corpses, to Los Alamos National Laboratory. There some scientists allegedly managed to establish a form of communication with the alien being which gave indications about the planet from where he had come: Serpo, in the Zeta Reticuli system. After a reverse engineering operation aimed at repairing a transmission device, the US government managed to get in contact with Serpo.

In 1952, according to Anonymous, the alien died, but both humans and aliens had already started to plan an exchange program. However, especially after the death of the extraterrestrial entity, the problems of mutual understanding reached their peak, and that’s why it took so long to get the exchange program started. First with the approval of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy and then on behalf of President Johnson, a meeting was held on April 24, 1964, near the Holloman Air Force Base in order to examine the details of the exchange that would have begun in July the year after and would have seen the departure of twelve human astronauts to Serpo on an alien spacecraft.

Anonymous provided detailed information as regards the training that was given to those who were supposed to leave for Serpo: astronomy, physics, psychology, nutrition, biology, linguistics, sessions at zero gravity in low oxygen conditions, questioning under psychological stress, prolonged periods of isolation, survival techniques in hostile environments.

However, the composition of the team gave birth to strong skepticism: Anonymous reported that there were ten men and two women in the team, each of them from the Armed Forces. According to some researchers, the presence of female staff is highly unlikely: in fact, at that time there were women in the Air Force, as well as in the Navy and in the Army, but their presence was limited to medical, administrative and logistical support.Consequently, there were no women with a technical and tactical preparation that could have been adequate to that operation, not to mention the fact that there were no female astronauts at that time.

According to Anonymous, in July 1965, as agreed, an alien spaceship which had previously landed in Nevada took off with twelve human crewmen.Anonymous has even shown some parts of the captain’s diary, where you can read that immediately after the departure he felt a strong sense of disorientation, since the instruments for measuring time did not work anymore. Then Anonymous provided a series of data about Serpo’s culture and society that strongly resemble Tommaso Campanella’s and Francis Bacon’s utopias.

The information given by Anonymous with regards to Serpo’s orbit and distance from the two stars of Zeta Reticuli system are totally wrong, since these two factors would not match Kepler’s Third Law. Anonymous replied that even the scientists on board had been baffled by this data and they had come to the conclusion that Kepler’s laws were not applicable in the Zeta Reticuli system.

According to further releases by Anonymous, the program was to expire in 1975 but, for unknown reasons, it ended in 1978 and just six team members came back to Earth, since two had died on Serpo and four had decided to stay there.

In December 2006, Anonymous sent Victor Martinez some photographs of the expedition but they were fake. Then Anonymous vanished and did not post any further comment.

Conclusions

There is no direct evidence of the existence of an exchange program with an alien civilization, there are only rumors and data given by Richard C. Doty, who has proven himself to be a disinformation agent.

So, here we get straight to the crucial point: when a person whose trustworthiness is nil provides a lot of information about an alleged exchange program that was somehow connected to the Roswell UFO crash as well as the subsequent reverse engineering, everybody could be induced to assume that even the Roswell crash and the reverse engineering operation are silly fancies.This is exactly the intent of many fictitious deep-throats: debunk the phenomenon, undermining its foundations.This strategy is certainly more subtle because it becomes very hard to distinguish what is real from what is plausible or totally invented to discredit the truth. Project Serpo is certainly a topic of great interest but it is totally ungrounded. There are only elements given by a fraudster whose credibility cannot be compared to the credibility of Colonel Corso (who, among other things, has never mentioned such project).

So one needs to separate the Roswell case as well as Colonel Corso’s claims, remembering that for a few hours, on July 8, 1947, the lid on the UFO phenomenon was off and it was possible to take a peek inside the mystery.

The press release distributed that morning by the Public Information Office at the Roswell Army Air Field on the direct orders of base Commander Col. William Blanchard was clear and shocking at the same time, and its importance will never die down: < <The many rumors regarding the flying disc became a reality yesterday when the Intelligence office of the 509th Bomb Group of the Eight Air Force, Roswell Army Air Field, was fortunate enough to gain possession of a disc through the cooperation of one of the local ranchers and the sheriff’s office of Chaves County. The flying object landed on a ranch near Roswell sometime last week. Not having phone facilities, the rancher stored the disc until such time as he was able to contact the sheriff’s office, who in turn notified Maj. Jesse A. Marcel of the 509th Bomb Group Intelligence Office. Action was immediately taken and the disc was picked up at the rancher’s home. It was inspected at the Roswell Army Air Field and subsequently loaned by Major Marcel to higher headquarters>>.

3 years ago, my uncle (my father’s brother) passed away. He lived in Lansing, Michigan at the time. I was born and lived in Lansing until I moved to West Lafayette, Indiana for college. After I graduated, I moved to Arizona (where I currently reside).  A few weeks after my uncle passed away, I received a package from the executor of my uncle’s estate.

The contents included several personal items that had belonged to my father and a large envelope with several photographs from the 1960′s. Most of the photos where of my father & uncle at various hunting camps. The envelope also contained a letter written by my uncle for me. There was no date, but I could tell he had written it.

Here is the exact content in the letter:  

Please forgive me for not telling you this in person. I never knew how to explain what happened. In 1966, not long after you were born, your dad, a guide and I were in North Bay, Ontario moose hunting. We had been out in the forest for almost 6 hours and were making our way back to the cabin. It was dusk and it started to become dark quickly.  As we got nearer to the cabin, we could hear strange whirling sounds coming from the direction we were heading. I was now dark, and we could see a bright green light was shining above the cabin. We stopped walking and watched the light as it slowing circled about 50 ft. above the cabin. The light was oblong in shape. I could not judge the size since there was an aura around it. The swirling sound continued also.  The next thing we remember was waking up in our cabin bunks the next morning. All of us had sharp pain around our ears and eyes. We couldn’t explain what had happened to us. We packed our gear and headed for home as soon as we could.  By the time we reached Lansing, your Dad was terribly ill. Your Mom rushed him to the hospital that same night. The doctor said he had the flu, but I knew better. I didn’t suffer any effects. The guide was OK also.  Your Dad was in the hospital for four days and started to feel better, but he was really never the same. I believe the incident at the cabin affected him. He would say that he continually had sharp stabbing pains all over his body. It became so bad that he could not work. Well, you know the rest of the story.  I felt that you deserved an explanation of what happened. I don’t know if you should tell your Mom. That’s your decision.  For as long as could remember, my father was in and out of treatment. When I received the letter, my mother had already passed away. I don’t know if she ever knew what happened to my father.  My mother was the sole bread-winner for our family. We did receive some money from the state for my father’s disability, but I know it wasn’t much. Those payments stopped soon after my father took his own life in 1975.  I wish I knew more about what happened that evening at the cabin. MM  NOTE: The above image is a rendering.

Homeland Security camera records two UFOs in Puerto Rico

A video that was allegedly obtained from sources inside a Puerto Rican federal agency shows two UFOs over western Puerto Rico.

The video was reportedly shot by an infra-red camera aboard a Homeland Security helicopter in the Puerto Rican city of Aguadilla in the early morning hours of April 26, 2013.

This video was uploaded to YouTube by José Martínez, a member of the Puerto Rican Research Group. He explains that the video was shot by a helicopter from Rafael Hernandez International Airport, which was formerly a United States Air Force base called Ramey Air Force Base (This base was named after Brigadier General Howard Knox Ramey, and not after General Roger Ramey as some believe. Roger Ramey is the infamous general who announced to the world that what was recovered in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 was simply a weather balloon). Several federal agencies are currently housed at the Rafael Hernandez International Airport.

According to the website Historias Ufologicas en Puerto Rico y el Exterior, “In the video you can see how the object moves very quickly. In one part of the video you can see how the object is thrown to the sea at extreme speed,” and when it comes back out of the sea, there are “two objects on the screen.”

Researchers reportedly conferred with authorities from the Puerto Rico Joint Forces of Rapid Action (FURA), a division of the state police of Puerto Rico that coordinates operations between Puerto Rico police and U.S. federal agencies. These authorities confirmed that the UFO video was taken by a camera aboard a Black Hawk helicopter. The website asserts that “this proves that federal agencies in Puerto Rico have knowledge of the presence ovnis-extraterrestre and surveillance in the [hottest areas of] Puerto Rico are being monitored.”

When asked by YouTube viewers for more information about this video showing UFOs in Puerto Rico, Martínez responded by saying that, in order to protect the identity of his federal agency sources at the airport, he “cannot give more details.”

An Encounter with the Hat Man

Rebecca was six years old in 1978 when something terrifying walked into her life.

“When I was a child I saw what I now know is called the Hat Man,” Rebecca said. “The Hat Man I saw spoke to me.”

Although she now lives in Florida, Rebecca grew up in Missouri, and spent parts of 1977 and 1978 in her grandmother’s house in Independence, Missouri.

“During this time in my life my mother, sister and I lived with my grandparents off and on due to our own circumstances and the fact that my grandfather was in and out of the hospital,” she said.

Rebecca remembers other relatives staying in her grandparents’ house at that time, taking the spare bedroom she usually shared with her sister. That night, Rebecca and her sister slept in her grandmother’s room, and soon discovered they weren’t alone.

“My sister and grandmother were sleeping in the bed like normal, and I was sleeping between the two of them with my head at the foot of the bed,” Rebecca said. “I had a terrible nightmare, one where the dresser drawers were opening and closing on their own and ghosts and clothing were flying out.”

Rebecca remembers her dreamself lying in the same place as her body slept.

“Most dreams are in other places, or familiar places, but never from the perspective of where you are actually sleeping,” she said. “I woke up from the dream very afraid.”

Terrified, she gently kicked, trying to wake her grandmother, but couldn’t rouse her.

“I debated getting up and finding my mom, but I would have had to walk past the dresser from my dream and decided that was too scary,” she said. “I turned my gaze away from the dresser and up to the window behind the headboard of the bed and that is where I saw the Man.”

The Man, a dark, looming figure, seemed to stand on the headboard, but Rebecca now wonders if the Man stood behind the headboard and was extremely tall.

“The Man was wearing a long flowing coat, a top hat and carried a cane,” Rebecca said. “He had no real features, but was a solid object that blocked the light from the window behind him. I was terrified because there was someone else in the room and because I recognized it as non-human.”

Rebecca and the Hat Man stared at one another for what could have been minutes, or seconds, when the figure lifted its arm and pointed at her.

“He said, ‘This is your last chance,’” Rebecca said. “His voice did not fill the room. The best way I can describe it is that it filled my head. The voice was flat with no residual sound, as if everything surrounding the words had been removed.”

After the Hat Man spoke those five cryptic words, he put down his arm and disappeared. She told her family of the encounter the next day, but they paid little attention.

“Little kids are always filled with stories that grown ups nod and smile while hearing,” she said. “I vaguely remember being afraid of grandma’s room for a while, but not much else following the incident.”

She didn’t bring up the Hat Man encounter again until her teens; this time her family listened.

“Everyone believed in ghosts, so it was another neat ghost story from a family member for everyone except my aunt,” she said. This is because her aunt has had more than one ghostly encounter, all eerily similar to her own. “She said she had seen the same man in that same house.”

Although the fear of her grandmother’s room has long since gone, along with the terror of that long ago moment when she met the Hat Man, one question remains.

“I’ve tried to figure out what, ‘This is your last chance,’ meant,” she said. “My grandfather died somewhere around this time, but I can not be certain if the Hat Man appeared before or after his death. I do know that grandpa was not in the house at the time, but he spent quite a bit of time in the hospital toward the end of his life. Was the Hat Man telling me this was my last chance to talk with him? I don’t know.”

California witness reports triangle-shaped UFO buzzed car

Two California witnesses southbound along Highway 5 in Coalinga reported watching a slow moving, triangle-shaped UFO “with three huge, white lights on the underside” that descended to just 20 feet over their vehicle, according to June 2, 2014, testimony in Case 56732 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness was driving with a passenger in the vehicle heading to Phoenix when the object was first seen and thought to be a plane about midnight on May 29, 2014.

“It flew straight up and over us,” the reporting witness stated.  “It went up quick in a field and then flew right over us, slowly.”

The witness described the object.

“It had three huge, white lights on the underside. It took off straight towards us and I thought, why would a plane fly so low? When I saw the underside with the huge white, round lights, it was dark in color with sharp edges, triangle-shaped with no other lights. It flew above us maybe 20 feet.”

The object then moved over a nearby field and appeared to land.

“It flew to the west of the highway and all the lights underneath came on brighter. When the lights came on brighter, it rotated in the air before its descent, then landing in a field.”

The witness pulled over for a better look.

“There was a huge glowing light. I was in disbelief and totally amazed. I was very glad to have a witness with me who saw the same. It was truly unbelievable.”

The witness moved to another location hoping to continue to watch the object.

“We went to a rest stop a mile away and watched the glowing light. There was no way to see since it was far into the field.”

Coalinga is a city in Fresno County, CA, population 13,380. California MUFON is investigating.  California has a current UFO Alert Rating of 2 with a high number of recent reports nationally. The UFO Alert Rating System is based on five levels – 1 through 5 – where states with 150 or more reports for the month are rated an Alert 1; states with 100 or more reports are rated an Alert 2; 25 reports or more for the month are rated an Alert 3; 13 or more reports are rated an Alert 4; and those states with less than 13 reports for the month are an Alert 5.

On Friday night, August 20, four young art students in their early twenties left Boston, Massachusetts for a canoe and camping trip in a wilderness area of Northern Maine along the Allagash River. The group consisted of identical twins, Jack and Jim Weiner, Charlie Foltz and Chuck Rak. Upon arrival at a staging point, they hired a pontoon airplane which flew them and their canoes to Telos Lake on the Allagash Waterway. During the next several days they canoed and camped along the Waterway. On the evening of Thursday, August 26, they reached Eagle Lake, set up camp and decided to go night fishing for trout. The pitch darkness of the area necessitated the building of a huge bonfire to mark their campsite so that they could find their way back to it. Shortly after beginning to fish, Chuck became aware of a feeling of being watched. He said, “I turned toward the direction from where I felt this and saw a large bright sphere of colored light hovering motionless and soundless about 200-300 feet above the southeastern rim of the cove.”
Chuck yelled for the others to look behind them. There, rising above the trees was a huge oval glowing object. As their eyes became adapted to its intense brightness, a gyroscopic motion was noted, as if there were pathways of energy flowing equatorially and longitudinally from pole to pole. This divided the sphere into four oscillating quadrants of bright colored light. The color changes were very liquid and enveloping, as if the entire object had a plasmatic motion to it, like a thick sauce does as it starts a rolling boil. Charlie grabbed a flashlight and blinked it at the object. Instantly, the huge rising glowing object came to an abrupt halt and began to slowly approach the canoe. Simultaneously, a tube-shaped beam of light erupted from the object and hit the water. A glowing ring with a dark center reflected on the water’s surface, indicating that the beam was hollow. The object and its beam of light began moving toward the canoe. Terrified, the campers began paddling frantically toward their bonfire and camp as the beam swept across the lake directly at them and engulfed them. It was from this point on that the conscious memories of the four differed according to each witness’ vantage point. The next thing Charlie remembered was paddling for shore and standing at the campsite with the others, watching the object move away. Chuck Rak remembers staying in the canoe after the others had piled out in panic onto the shore. Transfixed, still holding his idle paddle, he could not take his eyes off the object. Jack and Jim were able to consciously remember a bit more. Jack said that “It was just behind us and I could see that we were never going to outrun the beam. It was advancing too fast and I remember thinking, ‘Holy shit! This is it! We’ll never get away.’ The next thing he knew, they were on the shore getting out of the canoe looking directly at the object which was now about 20 or 30 feet above the water. The beam was coming out of the bottom of it like the object was sitting on the beam. It hovered there, right in front of us, completely silent for what seemed like four or five minutes. Suddenly the beam was pointing up towards the sky. The object began to move up and away from them towards the southwestern sky and then shot into the stars and was gone in just a second.
Jim Weiner said that “There was no mistake that it was coming directly to us. Then I remember standing on the lakeshore watching the object hovering above the lake 50 to 75 yards in front of us…Then the search beam went upward into the sky and we saw it moving away at a tremendous speed. We all seemed to be in a state of shock…We just stood there unable to move or talk.” When the strange anesthetizing effect wore off, Chuck got out of the canoe and joined the others as they trudged dreamily up the beach to their camp. Even in this state, they were dumbfounded when they realized what had happened to the huge bonfire that had just been blazing several minutes ago. “When we left to go fishing,” said Jim, “we set very large logs on the fire to burn for a good 2 to 3 hours. The entire experience seemed to last, at the most, 15 or 20 minutes. Yet the fire was completely burned down to red coals.” At that time, they had no memory of what happened during the time it took for their huge bonfire to burn down. This would remain a puzzle to them for years.
A few years later, Jim suffered a head injury which caused temporal-limbic epilepsy. During treatment, Jim’s doctors asked him to report any unusual experiences that might be symptomatic of his condition. Jim described strange experiences that he and his friends had experienced since the UFO encounter. These included awaking at night to see strange creatures, levitation from bed, and temporary paralysis while something was done to the genitals. He also described their encounter with a UFO and the period of missing time. Jim’s doctors advised him to contact a UFO researcher as they felt that Jim and his friends may have been involved in a UFO abduction experience. Jim contacted Raymond Fowler during one of his UFO lectures in the Boston area. In January of 1989 Fowler initiated a formal investigation with MUFON investigator and CEIII/IV specialist, David Webb (Solar Physicist) and with MUFON consultant, Anthony (Tony) Constantino (Professional Hypnotist). It was conducted in a careful and meticulous manner over a period of 24 months. It was obvious to them that the period of missing time had to be sandwiched between sighting the object and reaching shore. The beam of light hitting the canoe seemed to be the dividing point between memory and amnesia. During the first of a long series of hypnosis sessions, it was decided to concentrate on this segment of the terrifying encounter.
Under hypnosis, all four witnesses relived detailed and traumatic UFO abduction experiences during the period of missing time. All were transferred from their canoe into the UFO by the hollow tube-like beam of light. On board, they encountered strange humanoid creatures that exerted some kind of mind control over them so that they could not resist their demands. All were made to undress and sit on a plastic-like bench in an area illuminated by diffuse white light. After looking at their eyes and in their mouths with a pencil-sized rod with a light on its tip, the aliens placed them in a harness and flexed their arms and legs. Then, one by one they were made to lie on a table where each was examined by a number of strange hand-held and larger machine-like instruments that were lowered over their bodies. During this segment of the examination, the alien entities removed samples of saliva, skin scrapings, blood, feces, urine and sperm from each of the abductees. After the examination the abductees were made to dress and enter another room which had a round portal in one of its walls. They were lined up and made to walk into the portal. Strange sensations surged through their bodies as they found themselves floating down the hollow beam of light into their canoe which was now in shallow water near their campsite. The tube-like light seemed to hold the canoe steady as each was placed in it in the same seating position they were in prior to the abduction. As the hypnosis sessions continued, much detail was recovered about their on board experience. Also it was discovered that the twins had had bedtime visitations by alien creatures and abduction experiences since early childhood. These experiences were relived in vivid detail under hypnosis. The humanoids were described as having large oval-shaped heads and long necks, with large shiny oval-shaped black eyes. They had claw-like three-finger hands and were about six feet tall and dark gray in color.

The Creepy Underground Malta Catacombs With Room For 1000 Bodies – Photos

After visiting St Paul’s Grotto in Rabat, Malta we decided to spend some more time underground and visit the Catacombs (sometimes referred to at St.Paul’s Catacombs). These were initially built by the Romans but have also been used by Jews and Christians, at a later date, to bury their dead. I believe there is room for over 1000 bodies.

According to Heritage Malta the: “… Catacombs are a typical complex of interconnected, underground Roman cemeteries that were in use up to the 4th century AD … Part of the catacombs were used again during the re-Christianisation of the Island around the 13th century.”

The strange thing when visiting them today is that you first have to walk through underground tunnels and rooms that were used during the second world war as air raid shelters. The top photo shows the passage or tunnel and the second photo is of one of the ‘rooms’ off of the tunnel.

The tunnels were built using pick axes and were for the general public when the warning sirens were heard. Later some were given permission to build their own rooms so that they had some privacy.

After walking through these air raid tunnels the passages get narrow (see below) and it’s these that lead to the Catacombs – and it’s quite creepy! Especially as we were in there on our own, and it became something almost like a maze. The few lights cast shadows and shapes on the walls. Not a place to go if you are claustrophobic!

I found it all very interesting, and even spotted the odd bone, but I think Karin would have been happier if there had been more people about than just us – safety in numbers, and all that!

From what I’ve read the tombs were for the residents of the nearby town of Mdina (the Roman town of Melita). It was against their laws to bury the dead within their city walls.

There is a sign before reaching the Catacombs that Lord Horatio Nelson paid a visit on the 4th of May 1800. He was welcomed, at the time, by the rector and chaplains of the Knights of Malta.

After we’d had a good look round we managed to find our way out again into the bright sunshine, and walked to the walled town of Mdina. Maybe more on that another day.

What Are Shadow People And How to Get Rid Of Them

Mysterious cases of shadow people are a common report that paranormal investigators investigate. During their investigations, they have seen and documented this phenomenon first-hand many times. These shadow people or shadow figures typically move very quickly and are not associated with anyone or anything visible.

Typical reports are that the shadow figure (also called a dark mass) is seen through the viewer’s peripheral vision and by the time the viewer has turned around to look at the shadow figure, it is gone. If you are lucky enough, you may be able to view one with your direct vision – and some simply lurk instead of moving very quickly.

Types of Shadow Figures

Creepers
From experience, these are the most unnerving shadow figure to behold. We experienced one of these in the Old Barnstable Gaol. These shadow figures literally crawl along the floor, up the walls, or along the ceiling. As with any shadow figures they can move slowly or deliberately to extremely fast. Many assume these are evil creatures, but we cannot state this because we like to look at intent before one is classified as evil or harmless. The creeper we encountered did not seem evil as it left when prompted to. If it was truly evil, it would have disregarded our request.

Dark Mass
We term another group as a dark mass as it has no discernible form. They can vary in size and shape and often move slower than shadow figures or creepers.

Dark Mist
This is exactly as it sounds; a dark and smoky feature is present. Many are accustomed to the white or gray mists captured on photos; this is a cousin of those features. These mists allow some light to pass through and move as if it had a purpose.

The stereotype is that shadow figures flee in the presence of humans – especially if they are seen. Investigators have encountered this , but have also encountered many shadow figures that do not flee, but come closer to check them out. They have experienced shadow figures who want to be seen. Shadow figures can move through walls or any other obstacles – they are not bound by physical limitations that we encounter. Often their movement is described as unnatural – they can be very fast and disjointed. They can move naturally then appear to quickly transport to another location within the environment.

As for the actual shadow figure, it seems to be made of a dense energy that is impenetrable to light. From our own experience light seems to be absorbed in the black mass and it will not shine through the figure. The light does not reflect either – the beam of light just stops on the figure. There is one common element to shadow figures; they have no discernible features (except for shape). One cannot recognize style of clothing and there is no discernible mouth, nose, facial expressions, or eyes (although a growing number of reports claim red eyes).

Many believe that shadow figures are demonic or evil. While some may have ill-intention, most of them, if not the majority are harmless.  They just are a different representation of a spirit than most associate with the paranormal.  Most people know apparitions, balls of light, vortices, and paranormal mists.  These entities are able to project in a different “format”.  Since most people confuse the feeling of evil with their own fear of the unknown, most assume that these figures are evil.

No one really understands the science behind dark masses and shadow people.  It is theorized that this phenomenon represents a body composed of a matter that is not visible to the human eye.  Light will not pass through this figure because it is too dense and the result will create a shadow.

Human eyes cannot see x-rays and gamma rays, but yet they exist.  We have been conditioned in life to think that we must see something in order for it to be true.  Belief is that these entities are in a frequency that our human eyes are not capable of seeing – but they are there! In other words our eyes and brains cannot fathom the picture that is painted and the brain finishes the image for us showing us something is there.

While we are confident that most shadow figures are harmless, we also know that some can be a bit nasty. As in all paranormal entities, their personalities vary – just like living humans. Spirits keep the same personality they had while alive – so if someone was a mass-murdering creep, odds are they would be a nasty spirit. Until the spirit enters the light, they will retain any emotional and physical baggage with them. 

Let’s say that they are real… What are they?  Theories include: ghosts, inter-dimensional beings, time travellers and demons. And like the exterminator example, each would be dealt with in a different manner.

If they are inter-dimensional beings or time travellers, there may not be much we can do to get rid of them because they would presumably have their own agendas and reasons for showing up. Why would they leave just because we wanted them to? Who knows what they’re up to, if anything? I should add that these two possibilities are rather remote.

Possible Alternatives

As with all paranormal claims, one must be careful in not mistaking alternative explanations as a paranormal entity. If one thinks their home is haunted – every little thing becomes magnified and everything becomes paranormal in their mind.

If you think you saw a shadow figure with the corner of your eye, look to rule out other scenarios first. Could headlights from a passing car create a shadow from a piece of furniture? If you spotted something – concentrate on the area and see what happens if another car passes.

Some alternative explanations for shadow figures range from tricks of the eye with normal light play to optical illusions. If you ask a doctor or skeptic they may tell you that shadow figures can be caused by ocular distortions or floaters within the vitreous fluid of the eyes. Some alternative explanations include:

Pareidolia: Our peripheral vision is linked to an area of the brain that senses and recognizes patterns. It provides less detail than macular vision, which is within your direct line of sight. This can create a condition called pareidolia, which is when the brain incorrectly interprets natural patterns of light and shadow or texture as familiar patterns, such as faces and human figures. This is similar to a term we refer to as matrixing.

Hypnogogia: This is a medically-documented condition in which a person is between being conscious and asleep. During this condition, a person can be both aware of their surroundings and in a dream-like state where images from their subconscious are added.

Chemical-induced Hallucinations: The use of both prescribed medications and narcotics can produce hallucinations with shadow-people.

Abnormally High Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs): When people who are sensitive to EMF levels are subjected to high amounts, their brain can create auditory and visual hallucinations. We also believe however, that high EMF’s can provide an energy source for legitimate paranormal entities.

Neurological Conditions: Some people with diagnosed neurological conditions can have hallucinations of shadow figures.

If you determine that your shadow person really is just ordinary shadows… adjust your lighting.

If you just know that it is a real event not one induced by drugs or by being crazy, here are some steps to take to confront the unwanted entities.

Most researchers suspect that shadow people, if they are really there, are a manifestation of a ghost or haunting. If it’s a residual haunting — a non-intelligent “recording” on the environment — one way to possibly get rid of it is to alter the environment in some way.

If it’s an intelligent haunting — a true spirit that seems to behave and react in a way that indicates it has awareness — then there are some things you can try to make it go away.

• Ignore the ghost. Like most people apparitions probably go away when ignored.  Sometimes, however, this backfires and the ghostly activity increases because the spirit wants more attention.
• Use humour. Since fear is your biggest enemy in these cases, try injecting some light humour. Most people have a sense of humour including the dead ones.
• Listen and learn. Perhaps the spirit is trying to tell you something or communicate. Try to find out what that might be and do your best to resolve it.
• Tell the ghost to leave. This tactic very often works quite well, especially when the time is taken to explain how and why having her stick around bothers bothers everyone and increases their stress. Like most living people, most ghosts are reasonable. This might even work in the case that the entities are inter-dimensional beings or time travellers; if they’re aware of you, they might listen.

If you feel that you have a real genuine Shadow Person, one important factor to stress is that you do not try to do this alone. Get some help, preferably from someone who has some real experience in these matters. There is no way to prove or disprove any theories about a phenomenon that is so mysterious, that happens so quickly and without warning.  Science finds it virtually impossible to catalog or study such phenomena in any methodical way.  All we can do, at present, is to document personal experiences and try to piece together what the shadow people phenomenon might be. Perhaps it’s an old mystery becoming more recognizable… perhaps it represents a doorway to and from different planes of existence… or perhaps it’s just shadows.

National UFO Alert: Seven states report 287 May cases - Openminds.tv

The National UFO Alert Rating System has been updated for June 2014, with California, Florida, New York, Texas, Arizona, Ohio and North Carolina moving to a UFO Alert 2 or 3 as the highest reporting states during the month of May 2014, filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).

California was the leading high-reporting state in May with 102 cases, up from 80 April cases, 103 March cases, 59 February cases, and 102 January cases – the single state listed as an Alert 2 with 100 or more cases. The other top reporting states had 25 or more cases and are an Alert 3. Those states in a UFO Alert 4 category with 13 or more reports include: Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Missouri, Indiana, Washington, Oregon, Tennessee, and New Jersey.

All other states move to a UFO Alert 5 category with lower numbers of UFO activity. The Watch States – with 10 or more cases – are Alabama, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Oklahoma, New Hampshire and Colorado.

MUFON released May statistics June 1, where the total number of reported UFO sightings is listed by state. The entire country was moved back to the lowest alert level – UFO Alert 5.

California takes the lead with 102 cases; Florida, 46; New York, 31; Texas, 30; Arizona, 27; Ohio, 26; and North Carolina, 25.

Those states with 13 or more reports, the next reporting tier level, are a UFO Alert 4 status: Michigan, 24; Illinois, 23; Pennsylvania, 21; Georgia, 19; Missouri, 19; Indiana, 15; Washington, 15; Oregon, 14; Tennessee, 13; and New Jersey, 13.

Our Watch States this month are – with 10 reports or more: Alabama, 12; Wisconsin, 11; Kentucky, 11; Oklahoma, 10; New Hampshire, 10; and Colorado, 10.

The sphere remains the most-reported UFO shape with 129 cases; down from 150 April cases, 131 March cases, 91 February cases; and 240 January cases. Other shape reports include: Circle, 81; Triangle, 78; Star-Like, 73; Other, 68; Disc, 61; Unknown, 57; Fireball, 38; Oval, 32; N/A, 25; Cylinder, 18; Cigar, 17; Boomerang, 15; Flash, 13; Egg, 11; Bullet/Missile, 11; Blimp, 6; Diamond, 5; Cone, 4; Chevron, 3; Teardrop, 3; and Saturn-like, 2.

The object’s distance from the witness includes: Less than 100 feet, 117 cases; 101 to 500 feet, 120 cases; 501 feet to one mile, 163 cases; over one mile, 193 cases; unknown, 242; and no value stated, 26.

In addition, there were “24 landings, hovering, or takeoffs reported and 1 entity observed.”

The most interesting UFO reports do not necessarily come from high reporting states – but those states with higher numbers do account for some of the most interesting evidence to study. While UFO sightings seem to pop up randomly around the country, this list is meant to offer a small insight into where Americans are filing reports.

Nieuwe planeet ontdekt: "De Godzilla onder de Aardes" - HLN.be

Wetenschappers van het Harvard-Smithosian Centrum voor Astrofysica (CfA) hebben de "Godzilla onder de Aardes" ontdekt. Het gaat om een Mega-Aarde die uit gesteente bestaat en een tot voorheen onbekend type planeet is.

Met behulp van de Kepler-ruimtetelescoop stootten wetenschappers rond Xavier Dumusque van het CfA in het sterrenbeeld Draak op een object dat de naam Kepler-10c kreeg. Het bleek een planeet buiten ons zonnestelsel te zijn die zeventien keer de massa van de Aarde heeft.

Voordien werd aangenomen dat planeten van dergelijke omvang zich in een dichte atmosfeer van waterstof en helium hullen, een beetje zoals "onze" gasreuzen Uranus en Neptunus die eenzelfde massa hebben als het nieuw gevonden object.

Godzilla
Maar Kepler-10c was tot grote verrassing van de wetenschappers geen gasreus, maar een gesteenteplaneet. Meteen is een nieuw type van planeten gevonden.

Het gaat niet meer om een Super-Aarde, de term die astronomen hanteren voor planeten met tot veertien keer de massa van de Aarde. Kepler-10c is een Mega-Aarde."Dit is de Godzilla onder de Aardes", klinkt het bij Dimitar Sasselov van het Cfa. De diameter bedraagt nagenoeg 30.000 km, zowat 2,3 keer zoveel als die van de Aarde.

De exoplaneet omcirkelt samen met een lava-wereld, een kleinere, maar zeer hete planeet, een op de Zon lijkende ster. Aanwijzingen van leven zijn er op de gesteentereus evenwel niet gevonden.

Mega-aardes
De vorsers gaan er op grond van simulaties van uit dat er nog bij andere sterren Mega-Aardes kunnen ontstaan.

Dit roestige deksel is amper 23 centimeter in doorsnede, maar het bedekt enkele van de grootste geheimen van de aarde. Het gat onder het deksel reikt 12.262 meter diep. Het is het diepste gat ooit gemaakt door mensen, in een mislukte poging van de Russen om tot het middelpunt van de aarde te boren.

De 'space race' tussen de Russen en de Amerikanen tijdens de Koude Oorlog is alom bekend. Maar onder de grond speelde zich een zelfde rivaliteit af, die de krantenkoppen niet haalde maar daarom niet minder competitief was: een wedloop om naar het middelpunt van de aarde te boren. In een poging om de Verenigde Staten hierin te verslaan, creëerde de Sovjet-Unie tussen 1970 en 1994 het 'superdiep boorgat van Kola'.

U kan zich vragen stellen bij de drijfveren van de Russen, maar het project op het Kola-schiereiland gaf wel heel wat geheimen prijs over de samenstelling van de grond onder onze voeten. Voor het gat bestond, moesten geologen zich behelpen met seismische golven om veronderstellingen te doen over de samenstelling van de aardkorst. Een methode die niet doeltreffend bleek.

Water
Wetenschappers hadden bijvoorbeeld nooit kunnen vermoeden dat zich op een diepte van drie tot zes kilometer onder het oppervlak water bevond in het versplinterde gesteente. Hoe dat water daar komt, wordt nu nog onderzocht. Verondersteld wordt dat het bestaat uit waterstof- en zuurstofatomen die uit het gesteente geperst zijn door de enorme druk.
 
De boeiendste ontdekking van het project waren microscopisch kleine planktonfossielen van meer dan twee miljard jaar oud op een diepte van 6,5 kilometer. 24 prehistorische soorten waren ingekapseld in organische verbindingen die op een of andere manier de extreme druk en temperatuur konden overleven.

Hitte
Het laatste mysterie dat het boorgat onthulde, was meteen ook de reden waarom de werkzaamheden gestaakt moesten worden. Vanaf een diepte van drie kilometer begon de temperatuur gestaag te stijgen. Op 12 kilometer piekten de temperaturen tot 180 graden Celsius; bij zulke hitte werd de boor onbruikbaar.

De afstand tot het middelpunt van de aarde wordt geschat op zo'n 6.400 kilometer. De Russen kwamen dus lang niet in de buurt van hun doel. Het project is officieel afgesloten in 2005 en het gat werd dichtgelast met een metalen dekseltje. De vele mysteries die het bedekt, worden tot op vandaag nog steeds bestudeerd.

Kanney ran out of battery time at the end, but he got sufficient capture of this fellow staying very still. The thing to remember in the woods is that Sasquatch depend on the “stiff as a tree” posture to show no motion that will catch your eye. They hope to blend in with the trunks of the trees and be dismissed as our eyes scan back and forth over the forest undergrowth.  

You might call this the “Jurassic Park T-Rex invisibility maneuver.”

I often review different researcher's work to see who has commonsense, curiosity, intelligence,and wisdom. Freddie Kanney caught my eye when I saw his videos and realized this man from my home state knows his woods and knows how to study and observe everything. 

Most people go into the woods searching for Bigfoot as their target of attention, but you do not find a Bigfoot before first looking for the signs and signals he leaves that he is habitating these woods. Freddie has more horse sense in this field than most folks I know. So, he's earned my respect and attention as a fellow research with merit.

He not only captured this (here's a still shot below), but he went back with new batteries to show just what was or wasn't there. People often bellyache about blobsquatch videos, but true researchers show the conditions so you can see a comparison of what should be there and what isn't now.

I took the liberty of zooming in on the head and the light hitting the tuft of hair that appears auburn.

In fact, if you look at his left shoulder (I say “his” but don't know the sex) you an see what looks like auburn mane hair just like our hair, falling onto the shoulder in a swath that is picked up by the light and a bright auburn.

‘Vehicle in the Arroyo’

An encounter with a UFO with occupants occurred in Socorro, New Mexico on April 24, 1964. The experiencer was a police officer name Lonnie Zamora. This encounter is one of the best documented events with physical trace evidence. Until this incident, reports from persons claiming to have seen small beings in connection with UFOs on the ground (CE-III or Close Encounters of the Third Kind) were looked upon with considerable disfavor within the UFO research community. After the landing near Socorro, New Mexico, confirmed by a second reputable witness, attitudes changed. The years following this event produced an unprecedented flow of reports of high credibility and strangeness:

Lonnie Zamora’s close encounter on April 24, 1964 continues to be one of the most profound UFO events in the modern history of the phenomena. To this day it remains a case in which all the facts involved support the witness’ claims and it is this kind of case that makes the UFO phenomenon such an enduring mystery. Lonnie Zamora saw a highly unusual device of unknown origin, what can only be described as a “craft” of some kind, and he reported seeing what he believes were occupants. Despite the controversy which often surrounds the subject of UFOs, the incident at Socorro remains an example of what the UFO phenomenon is, in fact, all about.

The following information is based on facts I have gathered from various sources including conversations in person and by telephone with Mr. Lonnie Zamora. This is not intended to be a complete report on Lonnie Zamora’s experience, but is intended to provide a source for some rash details about the case and to clarify others. More than anything else I have made every effort to ensure that what is here is the truth. I also owe a great deal of gratitude to Mr. Ray Stanford, one of the most thorough and knowledgeable investigators I have met. He arrived in Socorro within four days of the incident and authored the definitive book on Zamora’s experience and the subsequent investigation. I recommend it to anyone seriously interested in this case and in the subject of UFO’s in general. Socorro “Saucer” in a Pentagon Pantry is available in major libraries but can be obtained from the author.

Socorro is a small town located about an hours drive south of Albuquerque, New Mexico. In April 1964, Lonnie Zamora was a police officer with the town and late in the afternoon on April, 24th he had just dropped his pursuit of a speeding car to go check on what he thought might have been an explosion on the outskirts of town. Thinking that a small shack containing dynamite might have exploded, he made his way up a rough embankment and then moved slowly along a narrow gravel road that wound beside a small arroyo (a shallow dry gully). From this first more distant vantage point he saw what he thought might have been an overturned car down in the arroyo and radioed back to his headquarters that he was proceeding to check out this ‘vehicle’. It was from here that he saw what he described as possibly two children or small adults, and he noted that one appeared startled at his approach and seemed to “jump somewhat”.

He moved further along the gravel road and finally stopped his car at the point where he believed he had previously seen the vehicle in the arroyo. It was at this point that he heard what he later could describe as several loud “thumps” or “slams”, similar to metal hitting metal. As he left his patrol car and proceeded towards the gully, he had not gone more than a few steps before he had a full view of an elongated oval shaped object on “girder-like” legs. In that instant a loud roar and bluish flame shot out of the underside of the object and it began to rise. Zamora did not hesitate…he hit the ground thinking it was about to explode, then got up running and jumped down on the other side of the gravel road. He heard a whirring noise and watched the object rise up out of the arroyo, the legs he saw moments before were no longer apparent. He noted that the object had risen to perhaps 20 feet above the bottom of the gully when suddenly the sound stopped completely. There was no more flame visible and he watched as the now-silent vehicle moved off parallel to the terrain picking up speed as it left the area. He watched it move off into the distance and it eventually disappeared from view.

Almost immediately upon the object having left the area, State Police Sargeant Sam Chavez arrived having overheard Zamora who had radioed wildly to his dispatcher hoping that someone else might be able to see the object. Together they noted the evidence left in the arroyo…a half burned bush, four angular impressions in the sandy soil where the “legs” had been, and several small footprints and other impressions.

Mr. Zamora has seen this illustration and stated that it is a good representation of what he observed, though he felt that the “legs” might have been extended slightly further than is portrayed. The dimensions presented however are taken from both the witnesses description and the exact measurements provided by investigators of the impressions in the soil.

Ever since the first report that Zamora had seen some type of symbol on the side of the craft there had been some confusion about just what that symbol was. He had drawn and described this symbol to several people soon after the incident, and what appeared to be discrepancies in the description had arisen from various sources. There does appear to be some support for believing that the symbol that was widely circulated early on may have actually been a variation of the actual one. The idea that a substitute might have been circulated by the investigative personnel from the Air Force or other governmental agencies as a way to guard against copycat reports has some merit. Though the actual shape may not be ultimately important to the overall case I did make an effort to try to obtain an honest description of just what Zamora saw. In one of our telephone conversations he clarified to me that he had never been told -not- to relate the actual shape and he gave me a description which I realized was slightly different from what I had heard and seen before. I was curious about this and shortly afterward I sent him several pages of small sketches which covered various details of his sighting. I included several variations of this symbol including one that matched what I had seen in other places and one that matched what I thought he had described to me. I asked him to merely place a check mark by whichever sketch matched his recollection. Below are several sections of the sheets I sent him, and his check marks are visible. But on the section showing the symbols, he was nice enough to actually redraw what he had seen.

Of all the evidence that could be presented to support the contention that what Lonnie Zamora saw was something totally unexplained, perhaps nothing is more compelling than this brief article. It appeared in the formerly classified CIA publication entitled “Studies in Intelligence” from the fall of 1966. It was written by Hector Quintanilla, Jr., the former head of the Air Force’s Project Bluebook.

It gives a history and methodology of the Air Force’s investigation of UFO’s, and after presenting many of the prosaic explanations that had been encountered, he concluded his article with a synopsis of a “Policeman’s Report” in which he described the Socorro incident. One short quote from this article in itself makes a profound statement about the reality of some UFO reports.

“There is no doubt that Lonnie Zamora saw an object which left quite an impression on him. There is also no question about Zamora”s reliability. He is a serious police officer, a pillar of his church, and a man well versed in recognizing airborne vehicles in his area. He is puzzled by what he saw, and frankly, so are we. This is the best-documented case on record, and still we have been unable, in spite of thorough investigation, to find the vehicle or other stimulus that scared Zamora to the point of panic.”

This document was approved for release on January, 2, 1981 and is available to anyone under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act.

It is my hope that this information is useful to anyone wanting to know more about the subject of unidentified flying objects. Even I find it easy to become disillusioned at times when I find that almost all the readily available information is made up of fantastic claims made by people who offer no valid proof. However, anyone who looks closely will be able to find that there are many cases, like the Socorro incident, that clearly indicate something physically real, and of a high degree of strangeness, is being seen by honest, reliable witnesses. – Chris Lambright – CUFON

At about 5:45 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 1964 Socorro policeman Lonnie Zamora was chasing a speeding car when his attention was drawn to a peculiar sight in the sky. “At this time I heard a roar and saw a flame in the sky to the southwest some distance away.” Thinking it might be an explosion connected with a building known to contain explosives, he forgot about the car chase, and sped off in the direction of the UFO.

The next time he saw it, it was on the ground, and from a distance it looked like a car that had overturned. As he drove closer, he could see that it resembled a large egg, sitting on one end and supported by slender legs. He stated:

“I saw two people in white coveralls very close to the object. One of these persons seemed to turn and look straight at my car and seemed startled -seemed to quickly jump somewhat. I don’t recall noting any particular shape or possibly any hats or headgear. These persons appeared normal in shape -but possibly they were small adults or small kids.”

As he drove closer, a small hill blocked his view of the object, though at one point he heard a noise like a door closing. When he could again see the object, there was no one near it. He drove as close as the rough terrain would permit, stopped, parked his police cruiser and got out, intending to walk toward the craft. At this point “I heard about two or three loud ‘thumps,’ like someone possibly hammering or shutting a door or doors hard. These ‘thumps’ were possibly a second or less apart.”

The white-suited individuals were not seen after he heard the thumps. As he started towards the object, it began to roar:

“It started at a low frequency, but quickly the roar rose in frequency and in loudness… Flames were under the object… light blue and at bottom was a sort of orange color.”

Assuming it might be about to explode, Zamora quickly hid behind his cruiser for protection. The roaring then stopped and he looked up to see it hovering a few feet above the ground. “It was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop.” The vehicle then moved away slowly, gathering speed as it headed toward the dynamite shack, which it cleared by a few feet.

At this time, Zamora was joined by a police sergeant who watched the craft fly away into the distance. Zamora and the sergeant then walked to where it had been parked, and noted charred and singed grass, underbrush and imprints in the ground corresponding to where the vehicle had landed.

Within hours, Zamora was interviewed by U.S. Army Captain Richard T. Holder, Up-Range Commander of the White Sands Missile Range, and by FBI Special Agent Arthur Byrnes, Jr., the latter requesting that the FBI’s involvement be kept secret. Zamora described the object to them:

“It was smooth – no windows or doors. As the roar started, it was still on or near the ground. There was red lettering of some type. The insignia was about 2.5 feet (75 cm.) high and about 2 feet (60 cm.) wide. It was in the middle of the object. The object was… aluminum-white.”

He then drew a sketch of the object with the red “insignia”: half of a circle over an inverted V with a vertical line inside and horizontal line below.

A day or two later, Dr. J. Allen Hynek arrived to investigate the report for the Air Force’s Project Blue Book. In addition to questioning Zamora, Hynek measured and photographed the landing site. He located what appeared to be impressions in the ground made by the landing gear, as well as several small footprints.

The case received rapid and extensive press coverage, and the Air Force was under pressure to explain it as something less momentous than a landed spacecraft. Among the explanations considered and rejected were a rancher’s helicopter and an experimental NASA lunar lander.

In the end, Project Blue Book declared the report “unsolved,” and Major Hector Quintanilla, the project’s final director, stated that there is no doubt that Lonnie Zamora saw an object which left quite an impression on him:

“There is also no question about Zamora’s reliability. He is a serious police officer, a pillar of his church, and a man well versed in recognizing airborne vehicles in his area. He is puzzled by what he saw, and frankly, so are we. This is the best-documented case on record, and still we have been unable, in spite of thorough investigation, to find the vehicle or other stimulus that scared Zamora to the point of panic.” – UFO Briefing Document: The Best Available Evidence

Bizarre encounter, Haravilliers France, 1998

Date: January 10 1998

Time: 07:30 a.m.

A total of 7 witnesses including the main witness M D were driving to a hunting expedition in two cars: a Peugeot 306 driven by M D and a Lancia with J M being the only occupant and his dog. The meeting place was a location called “La Guibarderie” near the little hamlet of “Le Ruel” not far from Haravilliers. Independently, M K was on his way to the meeting place in his Mercedes. The weather conditions were exceptionally clear and many stars were visible, as the two cars approached the parking area at the hunting preserve, their occupants see through their windshield a bright illumination in the sky in the horizon. Soon a huge black round object (30 to 45 m in diameter) comes towards them, slowly gliding only about 20 meters above the ground. The first thing M D notices are a series of large projectors disposed on 6 to 7 light ramps, like those of a stadium. Measuring 5 x 3 m, each ramp contained red, green and yellow spotlights. The beams do not light up the surrounding area. They resemble those of a Christmas tree decoration. Inexplicably, M D does not stop the car and the Peugeot continues to approach the location where the object is hovering. M D feels compelled to lower the glass on the driver’s seat side to get a better look. As the car passes just beneath the object, a bit on the left side, he can see a dull gray platform with a brighter octagonal contraption in the center (about 15 m) resembling a screw with a middle round aperture (diameter 6 m) punched with 8 regularly disposed exhaust type portholes about 1m in diameter. Next, a beam of light comes down to the ground, and then the 4 Peugeot occupants see three green, red and yellow beams converging on the parked Mercedes. There follows a gap of 3 minutes during which, nobody remembers what occurred, and the five witnesses find themselves 1200m father from their original position without M D remembering having driven the distance.

The object is no longer in sight. The two cars then meet in the parking lot and the Mercedes driver confirms that he had been also bathed in the light-beams that poured down on the Mercedes. The three cars then resumed their journey to the meeting place, everybody feeling a bit dazed. The six friends did not mention the incident to the other 25 hunters in the party. On January 15 M D begins to suffer from acute conjunctivitis, which led him to consult an eye doctor. Around April 20 M D’s memory begins to return little by little. He recalls having been levitated into the hovering UFO through the central hole. Inside he was confronted by a humanoid figure about 1.20m in height, completely covered in a diving suit, his face was hidden behind a metallic cylindrical dull-black helmet. This helmet was about 42-43 cm high and about 32-33 cm in width. It had a curved top, two round holes were the eyes should have been and a wide horizontal double row of “piano keys” resembling a row of straight white teeth, making it look like a mouth, which remained closed at all times. This gave the mask a somewhat shamanic and sinister appearance. At one point the entity said something like “Tobro”, which M D assumed could be the name of his place of origin. Although he only remembers having seen this one creature, he had the impression that there were other unseen entities in the object. He was placed on a table but does not remember having been subjected to a physical examination. A pale white-beige light that seemed to emanate from all directions illuminated the room. A strange putrid odor permeated the room. M D thinks that an implant was inserted into his body. Later it was revealed that a gamekeeper located not far from where the men were to meet testified having heard “the sound of heavy engines, not unlike that of a Boeing 747” a few minutes later he saw a big round dark object emitting three colored beams of light.

Well...did you watch 'Russian Yeti: The Killer Lives" on Discovery Channel? As well, 'The Unexplained Files' offered a precursor to the documentary.

Fifty-five years later, American explorer Mike Libecki is reinvestigating the mystery – known as The Dyatlov Incident – but what he uncovers is truly horrifying. The hikers left a clue, a photograph, which suggests the cause of their horrific deaths could be the work of a creature thought only to exist in folklore: the creature known as the Yeti.

Is Bigfoot a Ground Sloth or Troll? (Tongue planted firmly in cheek)

Most Bigfoot believers assume Sasquatch is some sort of hominid. After all, he supposedly walks around on two legs, has primate-like arms, and even possesses a humanish face. Of course, there’s always the possibility he’s actually an extinct ground sloth that evolved to look like an ape. According to one far-out theory, Bigfoot might actually be a member of the superorder Xenarthra, which would make him related to anteaters and armadillos.

This theory may not be based on evidence, but it is based on lack of evidence. Sloths digest food slowly. It might take anywhere from one to three weeks for food to pass through a sloth’s guts. Perhaps that’s why we’ve never found the remains of a Bigfoot meal: Since he has a sloth gut, Bigfoot can go weeks without food.

The real nail in this crypto-coffin is the infamous Patterson-Gimlin film above. When you watch the video, pay special attention to how slowly Bigfoot moves. Why isn’t it running at breakneck speed to escape the backwoods paparazzi, you ask? Well, because it’s a slow sloth, naturally.

No, not the kind that posts irritating comments. We’re talking the sort that turns into stone in the sunlight and does battle with Jim Varney on Halloween.

Obviously, to accept this theory, you’ve got to believe trolls exist outside of Scandinavian folklore. Once you’ve cleared that minor hurdle, you can turn to the mountains of evidence. First, according to the theory, trolls are 90 percent mental and 10 percent physical, meaning they mostly exist in our imagination. In reality, a troll is more of a “vibration” than an actual being. In fact, it exists partly in our world and partly in another. And since trolls aren’t totally physically here on Earth, they show up quite blurry in Bigfoot photos.

Still not convinced? Well, consider that scientists have never found Bigfoot hair or DNA. Since trolls exist on a different plane, any physical evidence magically vanishes. If you were to find any concrete proof of Bigfoot’s existence, it’d turn into a stone or piece of straw the very next day. Finally, the most compelling piece of evidence is that Bigfoot tracks often disappear into thin air. Child Ghost in Our House

When my mother was pregnant with us (my twin brother –Jonne- and I) we moved to a house next to a lake (upper Finland). This huge wooden house is more than 100yo, it has 3 stories and a huge terrace and amazing view to the lake. She used to tell us weird stories she experienced and when we grew older we experienced some too with my brother and dad. So one thing she first noticed (when it was winter time) was in the room where we have the stairs. It was always very cold there, even when the heating was on, but first we didn't really care about it because we used that room for going upstairs and down. This room originally was a study when we bought the house, and we never replaced the furniture. We kept the grand piano and the desk and some shelves. We got the heating system checked a several times but they didn’t understand the problem, we were told we might have lost the warm air because the windows were old but that’s impossible, because all the windows are the same, same age, same kind and this is the only room we experience it. The other thing was when in the middle of the night dad heard someone playing the piano. But in the family nobody plays it, so we blamed the cat… but what he heard was a very easy children’s song even a retard could play BUT not the cat walking on the piano randomly. It happened a several more times, even nowdays we hear it, but we try to ignore it. Tbh the same melody can be really freaky.

What’s more freaky and this is the part when my brother and I got very shocked. So mom explained when we were still babies sleeping upstairs she heard child laughter from the study, not only once, but everytime she walked in it stopped. Later on she made up her mind, it must have been the neighbour’s kid fooling around (that kid was 12yo at that time), once she even asked them to keep the Perttu (kid) in for the times Jonne and I were sleeping, but the laughter didn’t stop.

I have a very vivid memory about a little boy around our age playing with us when we grew around 4 just kindergarden time, I don’t remember his name but everytime Jonne and I played in the house, in the study he appeared and we played together, my bro remembers him as well. And when we told mom she didn’t understand who we were talking about. She though we made an imaginary friend, but even if we did, Jonne remembers the same little boy. We didn’t have any kids around our age living close to us except for the neighbour boy, but he was older. The little boy only appeared when we were playing in that room, like he was waiting for us, when we stepped into the kitchen he never followed. And I am really sure he was there because not only once our dog looked at him and he looked back and for me it seemed like the dog was scared to death and I didn’t understand why. Hide and seek was a common game, and he always asked us to hid in the study only, I never understood why but it was okay with us, although… this boy hid to the same place everytime, in the wardrobe under the stairs, like Harry Potter’s place. Once my brother hid with him and I coudn’t count to 10 because Jonne started yelling and crying to let him out, and by the time I realised what was going on mom rushed in opened the door and Jonne was out, and very frightened. Mom asked him something like – darling the door was opened, why did u crawl in there? It was the last time we saw our friend, although we never missed him. Later when I asked Jonne what happened there he always answered: - I don’t know, I don’t remember I just felt very cold suddenly and dark and I didn’t reach the door. I laughed at him, of course it was dark inside silly. I don’t know what could have happened inside, but I believe my brother didn’t see anything special.

We have still weird things going on today, this piano is one of them… the other one is that we can’t hear child laughter but that door under the stairs is sometimes opened by the morning, and at winter times when the window is blurry in the study, at some parts it’s clean like when someone leans close and breaths on it, but as I said we don’t use that room so no one from the family ever looks out of that window. When our cat was still alive she used to go crazy with the dogs and run around in the house, but when they got in the study except for the cat the dogs become very skittish, I don’t think they spent more than 10 minutes of their lives in there, only when we were around. - Reddit.com

Sleep Epidemic in Russian Town

The locals of Kalachi village in Kazakhstan and the almost abandoned Soviet town of Krasnogorsk, Russia have been suddenly falling asleep, and then waking up with no recollection of what happened.

More than 7,000 experiments into the soil, air, water and patient's blood, hair and nails have been carried out by scientists in these remote villages.

But so far, all results have come back inconclusive - although scientists fear leaking uranium could be to blame.

And villagers even fear that they buried an elderly man before the sleeping condition was known about, because they thought he was dead.

"I was milking cows, as usual, early in the morning, and fell asleep," said milkmaid Marina Felk. "I remember nothing at all, only that when I came round I was in a hospital ward."
