New Treasures Recovered From Ancient Antikythera Shipwreck

More than a century ago, a group of sponge fishermen were making their way home to the Greek island of Syme when they were caught in a violent storm. After being blown off course, they managed to anchor on a shallow shelf near a small island called Antikythera. After riding out the storm, the crew decided to make good of a bad situation and explored the new area. But what they discovered was of far greater value than a few sea sponges: an ancient shipwreck, buried for millennia beneath ocean sediment.

After a grueling nine months of intense work, a trove of ancient treasures were recovered by the divers, including statues made of bronze and marble, jewelry, furniture and ancient glassware which were all brought to a museum in Greece. Many of the artefacts were fragmented, so archeologists gradually tried to piece them together. At some point, a corroded lump that was thought to belong to one of the statues cracked open, revealing what would later be identified as one of the most complicated antiques in existence: the Antikythera Mechanism.

This ancient clockwork device is thought to have been constructed around 87 B.C.E, but was lost in 76 B.C.E when the ill-fated cargo ship carrying it sunk. It’s thought that this bronze instrument was a kind of mechanical “computer” used to calculate the positions of astronomical objects. The mechanism was composed of at least 30 different gears, but various pieces are missing today. That’s why a team of divers and archeologists recently returned to the wreck, embarking on a new exploratory project which they hoped would yield new antiquities.

After spending over a month excavating the wreckage, with the help of a $1.3 million exosuit, the team recovered a series of intriguing finds, demonstrating that much of the cargo still remains preserved beneath the sediment. Furthermore, many components of the ship are still attached, such as anchors and rigging rings, proving that some parts are still intact. Bits and pieces of the wreckage are also strewn across a huge area, some 300 meters of seafloor, suggesting that the ship was considerably larger than originally believed, maybe even 50 meters long.

Among the findings were a ceramic table jug, a bronze rigging ring and part of an ornate bed. But the most remarkable treasure by far was a giant, two-meter-long bronze spear. This was probably far too heavy to have been used as a weapon, so the researchers believe it may be part of a statue, perhaps the goddess Athena. Although they didn’t find the missing pieces of the Antikythera Mechanism, the team will return to the wreck next year to search it further. “We have a lot of work to do at this site to uncover its secrets,” archeologist Theotokis Theodoulou said in a news release.

Brain surgery 2,300 YEARS ago: Drill holes on ancient skulls reveal gruesome procedure – and it was successful

Scientists have discovered evidence of 2,300-year-old surgical procedure on two ancient skulls.

The skulls, unearthed in the Altai Mountains of Siberia, belonged to the Pazyryk nomadic tribe and showed clear signs of recovery after brain surgery.

Using similar tools and techniques, scientists now plan to recreate the same, high-risk procedure – albeit on skulls of the dead.

Trepanation was a risky ancient medical procedure which involved drilling a hole, or surgically scraping into a human skull.

It was used, among other things, to relieve brain swelling, and historians believe it may also have been mistakenly used to treat problems with the nervous system.

One of the skulls, which belonged to a man aged 40 to 45, showed signs of suffering a trauma to the head.

Scientists believe he developed a subdural haematoma, a condition where blood forms between the skull and the surface of the brain.

The haematoma would have led to him suffering headaches, vomiting and movement problems in his right leg and hand.

Trepanation would have removed the haematoma and evidence of later bone growth suggests the man lived for years after the surgery.

The second male had a hereditary deformation, which was successfully improved with by drilling a hole into the skull.

‘In the middle 19th century, the survival of patients after trepanation in the best hospitals in Europe rarely exceed 10 per cent,’ Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences told Siberian Times.

‘[Trepanation] was associated with an extremely high risk of infectious complications, and this operation was committed only when patients had very severe traumatic brain injury.’ 

‘Even today, with advanced neurosurgical techniques, successful implementation of trepanation requires the serious knowledge and training, and the procedure itself is not considered as absolutely harmless.’

Archaeologists believe the Pazyryk tribe may have had knowledge of the Hippocratic Corpus, a set of ancient Greek medical texts associated with the physician Hippocrates.

They claim results of the ancient operations on these two skulls to be ‘astonishing’ given the risks associated with such surgery.

Scientists have now created computer models of the two skulls, along with a third skull found of a woman in which the procedure was unsuccessful.

The 30-year-old woman’s skull indicated injury consistent with a fall, and further analysis suggests she died during the surgery or soon afterwards.

By recreating the procedure, scientists at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography hope to understand more which tools were used, and why the procedure was carried out.

‘It may have been related to the rituals through which man reached altered states of consciousness required for religious and magical activities,’ they say.

Researchers at the University of Sheffield, and the University of Buckingham Centre for Astrobiology, claim to have found particulates of matter in the Earth’s stratosphere thatis the long awaited proof of extraterrestrial life. Not being content with solving one of the universe’s greatest mysteries, however, the researchers also claim that their findings explain the origins of humanity and reveal that all life on earth originally came from space.

As with all amazing discoveries this revelation has it’s expected detractors. Obviously more testing is required to fulfill scientific methodology. More testing is scheduled. This is such a paradigm shaking discovery that a lot of our current theories of our origin will have to be scrapped, and rightfully so. Such as all the mythological religious ones. A quick search in the blogosphere finds many bible thumpers are up in arms. This discovery when replicated and verified will be just one more nail in the cross (pun intended) of religious dogma. The God of the gaps just lost another huge gap.

Multiple UFOs show up in Georgia I-85 photos

A couple driving westbound along I-85 near Lavonia, GA, discovered multiple anomalies on photos taken of cloud formations, according to testimony in Case 60508 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

“My wife held the cell phone out the window and was snapping shots as we rode,” the reporting witness stated. “After about seven shots she stopped. Nothing was visible in sky as we rode.”

But then they reviewed the images that were taken about 7:15 p.m. on October 4, 2014.

“On the last photo we saw the four objects which looked like exhaust coming out of the bottom. One or two previous shots showed faint blurred images which I assume were part of this four but not as close. Never saw the items. They only appeared in the photo.”

The witness included one image with the MUFON report, which was filed on October 10, 2014.

Georgia has a current UFO Alert Rating of 5 with a low number of recent reports nationally. Georgia had 7 UFO reports in September 2014 – the 23rd highest reporting state – calculated at .30 sightings per million population – while California had 93 reports as the highest reporting state. American University to hold UFO panel discussion

One of the most prestigious universities in the United States has announced that it will hold a serious panel discussion on UFOs, hosted by former CNN anchor, and UFO witness, Miles O’Brien.

Often UFO researchers and enthusiasts voice their concern that mainstream establishments do not take the UFO topic seriously. Well, once in awhile events like the one scheduled at American University take place and suggest that things might be changing.

American University recently announced that it will hold a panel discussion called UFOs: Encounters by Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials. It includes ” four prominent national figures,” and is based on the Honors Colloquium, Alien Contact: Science and Science Fiction, by professor and filmmaker John Weiskopf.

The events page for the panel includes a video from Weiskopf describing the event (seen above). He says, “This panel gives you an opportunity to hear from leading investigators, and from eye witness Colonel Charles Halt, the Air Force Deputy Base Commander near Rendlesham Forest. He stood 20 feet away from a UFO, and he recorded the event.”

Along with Halt, the panel will also include investigative journalist and author Leslie Kean. The title of the event is taken from her New York Times best-selling book UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record.

Other panelists include author Thomas Carey, one of the leading experts on the Roswell incident, and Dr. Richard Haines. Haines is the co-founder of the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena (NICAP), and is a former NASA researcher. Haines served as the Chief for Space Human Factors Office at NASA’s Ames Research Center from 1986-88.

As you can see, all of the panelists are people who either had their own UFO experience or research the topic. Although skeptical, none of them are skeptics. The discussion appears not to be a debate, but rather, the presentation of compelling evidence for the serious investigation of the UFO phenomena.

I am sure many will feel that American University holding such an event is quite shocking. Weiskopf appears to be aware of the novelty of the event. In the video he notes, “There has been no program likes this.”

The choice of the moderator is also very interesting. The tone of a panel is set by the moderator, who can easily sway the focus to be comedic, or incredulous. However, the moderator in this case is beloved and credible, and perhaps one of the more prominent figures to have admitted that he also has seen a UFO.

The moderator for the event, Miles O’Brien, is a former anchor for CNN, and has largely specialized in science, technology, and aerospace. Recently, he has won the hearts of many with the amazingly positive attitude he has had towards the loss of his left arm due to an accident.

O’Brien shared his UFO experience on CNN after the airing of one of a series of news reports on UFOs he had put together. He introduced the piece mentioning that the believed in UFOs, and after the piece played, one of his co-anchors asked him about his UFO comment.

He explained:

Well, you know, I saw something that was very odd about 20 years ago with my wife. We’re in Maine. It was dusk. We saw what looked like, you know, a planet, you know, bright planet, but then it took a 90-degree turn and took off at about Mac 20. And I’m a pilot. I know speed. It was amazing. I’ve never seen anything like it. Could have been a meteor. Could have been some block program. Could have been something else.

The panel at American University will be held on November 12, 2014 from 7:30 – 10 pm. According to a tweet by Kean, it will be free and open to the public.

The panel is made up of some of the most respected, credible, and well spoken individuals to ever research the UFO topic, and with a beloved moderator who has also had his own UFO experience, the event is sure to make people who had not thought much of the topic to a closer look.

1958 ….    MONT ALTO PENNSYLVANIA

I had an incident in 1958 when I was a young man going to college in Mont Alto, PA.  It was late evening and I was in my room sitting in a lounge chair trying to read and stay awake at the same time. I was near graduation and had a lot of things on my mind. As I sat there, I had a strange feeling like someone was watching me and I became very restless. After a few minutes I ‘sensed’ that something was on the other side of the closed door to my room. I still can’t explain it. So I got up from the chair and went to the door, opened it a bit and looked out. There were two men dressed in black suits and black furry hats. They looked like identical twins. They were dark complexioned with Asian eyes, but they were not Asian.  As I stood there, they didn’t said a word but I knew that they were ‘talking’ to me through my mind, saying ‘…are you ready?’ For some unknown reason, I knew deep down what they were referring to. I was shirtless with only a pair of shorts, so I reached for a jacket, ‘…that will not be necessary. No one will see you.’ The three of us walked out in the hallway and suddenly we were standing on a small hill behind the student hall. I noticed the headlights of a car coming down the street and ducked behind the two men. I heard them laughing at me in my mind, ‘….we told you no one would see you’.  I was scared and turned away for a minute wondering if I should try to run. I thought better of it, turned to say something to them and noticed that they we looking up. I followed their gaze and realized that something was suspended above us. I continued to look when an opening appeared in its center and blue-white light came tumbling out of it. I started to feel dizzy and a bit nauseous, like when you are on a roller coaster or airplane that is dropping too fast. Then I realized we were floating up toward whatever the object was. I must have fainted because I only remember that I was lying on my side when I woke. I raised up and looked around. The entire room was empty except for the small table on which I was sitting.  The room was bathed in a soft glow but had no apparent light source that I could see. Then I heard a female voice say, ‘…he’s awake.’ I looked around to see if I could see anyone but saw nothing. About this time on the far wall a door appeared and opened. Although the hallway was dark, there was a bluish white illumination that appeared as though it was materializing. Two shadows seemed to move across the doorway but I couldn’t tell anything about the shapes.  I received a mental image of two people approaching, one carrying a tray full of some kind of surgical instruments and syringes. Then I went blank. My next memory was of being back in my room and in my chair reading. I got up and felt like I had just woke from a deep sleep. Then I noticed several items were missing including three books and a framed photo of my parents.  I have never had any affects (that I know of) from my experience though I have had a remarkable healthy life. As well, I am constantly told I look 20 years younger than my actual age.  Now, the reason I am now writing about my encounter. A few days ago, a large box arrived at my daughter’s house that was addressed to me.
The reason why it was sent to her address is a mystery. As well, there was no return address and it was shipped from Oakland, California (the state where I now reside). My grandson brought the package to me a day or so later. While he watched, I opened the box. It contained the three missing books and the framed photo of my parents that went missing the night of my encounter. There was also a battered shoebox that looked very familiar. When I opened the shoebox, there were a variety of small items (pens, buttons, coins, etc) that I realized I had lost at some period in my young life. That is when I revealed my past experience with my astonished grandson.  I’m still confused after receiving the package a few months ago. Who were these men and what did they want? Norwich, Ontario, Canada - 7/2014: I going through a forest with my air soft gun. I began hearing children screaming, then laughing. I looked over towards the water of the lake nearby and noticed a black helicopter hovering in place. I took my binoculars. I looked at the helicopter and discovered an insignia from the United States Air Force. I thought "What? Why is there a US Air Force unit in Canadian Airspace?" and then I noticed a small orb about 20 ft. from the aircraft. I began hearing gunfire and dropped to the ground. A second orb caught my eye from behind the helicopter and more gunfire. When the orbs disappeared I ran from the forest and home. I haven't spoken to anyone of this incident and don't plan on it unless it is from MUFON.

New 'Ghostbusters' film in the works...with an all-female cast.

Looks like a new "Ghostbusters" film is coming back to life.

Paul Feig, director of the smash comedy hit "Bridesmaids" and co-creator of the cult, coming-of-age TV series "Freaks and Geeks" confirmed via Twitter today that he will be directing a new installment in the "Ghostbusters" franchise. The script will helmed by Katie Dippold, who wrote the screenplay for "The Heat" and previously wrote for "Parks and Recreation."

The announcement is big news, and follows recent comments made by "Ghostbusters" star Bill Murray that a new "Ghostbusters" film should star an all female cast. Murray told the Toronto Star his ideal casting suggestions would be Emma Stone, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and Linda Cardellini. Other names rumored to be in the mix are "30 Rock's" Tina Fey, and "Parks and Recreation's" Amy Poehler.

A "Ghostbusters 3" film was in discussion for the past few years, with Dan Akroyd as the primary advocate. Ultimately the project fell through. Feig's "Ghostbusters" film won't serve as a sequel to the first two films, but instead will launch its own series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Release date for the film is still undetermined.

The original "Ghostbusters" premiered in 1984, and is one of the most influential and successful comedy films of all time. It has grossed over $229 million since its original release. - ABC7

‘Ghost Stalkers’ star John E.L. Tenney: The devil is real

Many wonder what happens after we die but John E.L. Tenney, a paranormal investigator and co-host of Destination America’s “Ghost Stalkers,” which premieres on Oct. 19, says he knows.

FOX411: So you say you died and came back when you were 17, take us through that.
John E.L. Tenney: When I was 17 years old, I went into cardiac arrest. I actually flat lined and died for two minutes. When you get to the three minute mark, that’s when you really start to have problems because that’s when brain death sets in. Something happened to me when I stopped living in this world, and I came back with a memory and experience that’s not the typical near-death experience.

FOX411: What is the “typical” near-death experience?
Tenney: Most people… see a tunnel of light, loving relatives beckoning them to the other side. Mine was the opposite. It was a very dark and scary place. Those are very non-typical near-death experiences.

FOX411: Were you given a choice to come back?
Tenney: So I died and when I was dead I was given a choice to either stay dead, or to come back to this reality. I just remember opening my eyes and being in the hospital. I guess my mission in life is now to find out where I was when I died, and if something happens with the persistence of life, and if we all die we go to some stranger place.

FOX411: What is the scariest ghost encounter you have had?
Tenney: I’ve done this for 27 years. I don’t know if they’re ghosts, but I know they are not normal experiences that people have in this reality. I’ve seen people walking through walls. People rising…seeing people appear in front of you and then vanish away. On the show, you get see my co-star Chad [Linney] and I get to have these experiences. We go into buildings by ourselves. We do all our [camerawork] when we’re in there, and we sit in the dark where horrible things have happened and you get to not only look for ghosts but internalize the experience and go through that psychological process.

FOX411: You have gone to the Vatican to witness an exorcism. After seeing that, do you think the devil exists?
Tenney: It’s very hard to not believe it. Not very many people are asked to sit in on an exorcism, and I was friends with the arch diesis in Detroit, so I actually got to sit-in and when you experience someone who starts speaking in multiple languages, you watch their face change. There’s a lot that seems like a movie but you’re watching it real-time in person.

FOX411: But couldn’t that be a person who is mentally ill or suffering from another sort of affliction?
Tenney: Absolutely. The Vatican has a month long process of making sure that the person isn’t addicted to drugs, or has a mental disorder and they say this isn’t going to happen, this is going to happen and then one day you get a phone call that we have to do an exorcism. 

FOX11: How about God?
Tenney: Yes, maybe. The nature of our universe is ever growing and changing, and whether you call it God or a single energy that energy can’t be destroyed, and it’s always here. We’re all a part of it.  We interact with other humans and animals in ways that are not just physical. I think that science is bearing that out that there is something larger and greater than us that exists out there.

FOX411: Are you afraid of dying?
Tenney: No. My job for the past 27 years has been to investigate and research weird things, and I know that we all have a fear of death but in my line of work and what I do for a living, I’m really excited for the biggest mystery which is what comes after this. Helikopter jaagt op UFO's boven New York ( Video)

De kleine ronde witte UFO's die overal ter wereld worden waargenomen, worden steeds “brutaler”.

Ze hebben er dan ook geen enkel probleem mee om op klaarlichte dag boven New York te verschijnen.

Vorige week hebben we uitgebreid beschreven hoe een bepaald type UFO, wit en rond, de gemoederen nogal bezighield in de Amerikaanse stad Breckenbridge.

Talloze getuigen namen deze objecten waar en het leek alsof de UFO’s wilden dat ze werden gezien en gefilmd.

Hetzelfde type UFO werd enkele dagen geleden waargenomen in Rusland, toen een formatie van drie zo snel mogelijk een grote onweerswolk in vloog.

Nu is er een voorval in het centrum van New York, waar een helikopter op onderzoek schijnt te gaan naar een aantal van deze onbekende objecten.

De opname is al van mei dit jaar, maar nu pas beschikbaar gekomen. Om half drie ’s middags op 10 mei 2014 hangen er enkele van de inmiddels bekende onbekende objecten boven West 63rd Street.

De autoriteiten moeten ook op de hoogte zijn geweest, want vlakbij deze twee UFO’s hangt een helikopter.

Dit duurt even, maar dan besluiten de UFO’s dat ze genoeg hebben van de helikopter en er vandoor te gaan.

Eén voor één bewegen ze zich plotseling met grote snelheid naar rechts en de helikopter heeft het nakijken.

Door al dit soort waarnemingen de laatste tijd, lijkt het dat de UFO’s “brutaler” worden. Ze hebben maling aan of ze worden gezien of niet, trekken zich nergens wat van aan en gaan gewoon hun eigen gang.

Degene die de video heeft geplaatst geeft de verzekering dat ze al het mogelijke hebben gedaan om de video op echtheid te onderzoeken.

UFO's verdwijnen in onweerswolk ( Video)

We weten dat UFO’s worden aangetrokken door vulkanen, maar onweersbuien oefenen ook een onweerstaanbare aantrekkingskracht op ze uit.

Bij een Russische stad werd een prachtige opname gemaakt van een serie UFO’s die verdwijnen in de wolken van een onweersstorm.

Er zijn ufologen die denken dat bepaalde soorten UFO’s als het ware energie tanken van en in de buurt van elektrische stormen.

Dat deze theorie misschien wel eens waar zou kunnen zijn, bewijst de volgende spectaculaire opname uit Rusland.

Een gezin, ergens in Rusland, filmt een geweldige onweersbui boven hun stad.

Dan, ineens verschijnen er van achter de daken van de huizen drie verschillende UFO’s in een keurige lijn achter elkaar.

Ze blijven in formatie doorvliegen totdat ze compleet verdwijnen in de dikke onweerswolken.

Zoals je in de volgende video kunt zien, laten ze er geen enkele twijfel over bestaan dat ze doelbewust op de onweersstorm afgaan.

National UFO Alert: September reports spike in four states

A September spike in U.S. UFO reports occurred in Maine, Vermont, New Mexico and Oregon, according to witness reporting statistics released October 1, 2014, from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).

“The four states were rated in the National UFO Alert Rating System as a UFO Alert 2 which represents 3.01 – 4.0 reports per million residents during the month of September 2014.”

Nevada, Colorado and Indiana were the next highest reporting states showing between 2.51 and 3.0 reports per million residents and listed as a UFO Alert 3.

Only Missouri earned a UFO Alert 4 rating with reports per million residents between 2.01 and 2.5. All other states were listed as a UFO Alert 5 with 2.0 sightings per million residents or lower. These numbers are based on the month when an event occurred, and not the month in which it was reported.

As the highest reporting states per million residents, the actual numbers are: Maine, 4; Vermont, 2; New Mexico, 8; and Oregon, 15.

The UFO Alert Rating System is based on five levels – 1 through 5 – where states with 4.01 or higher reports per million residents are rated an Alert 1; 3.01 – 4.0 reports are an Alert 2; 2.51 – 3.0 are an Alert 3; 2.01 – 2.5 are an Alert 4; and those states with 2.0 or lower are rated an Alert 5.

The UFO Alert Rating System has previously only reported on the raw numbers by state to rate each state. Beginning October 2014, the rating will change to rank states by population.

Disregarding populations, the top 10 reporting states for September 2014 were: California, 93; Pennsylvania, 32; Florida, 32; Ohio, 31; Arizona, 29; Michigan, 28; Texas, 27; New York, 25; Illinois, 24; and Indiana, 24.

The sphere remains the most-reported UFO shape with 140 September cases, down from 179 August cases; 216 July cases; 156 June cases; 129 May cases; 150 April cases, 131 March cases, 91 February cases; and 240 January cases. Other shape reports include: Circle, 84; Star-Like, 82; Triangle, 64; Disc; 61; Oval, 53; Other, 53; Unknown, 50; Fireball, 33; Cylinder, 20; Diamond, 15; Cigar, 14; N/A, 13; Boomerang, 13; Cone, 10; Flash, 9; Blimp, 7; Egg, 5; Chevron, 4; Saturn-like, 4; Bullet-Missile, 4; Teardrop, 4; and Cross, 2.

The object’s distance from the witness includes: Less than 100 feet, 115 cases; 101 to 500 feet, 75 cases; 501 feet to one mile, 169 cases; over one mile, 218 cases; unknown, 238; and no value stated, 16.

In addition, there were “23 landings, hoverings, or takeoffs reported and 0 entities observed.”

The most interesting UFO reports do not necessarily come from high reporting states – but those states with higher numbers do account for some of the most interesting evidence to study. While UFO sightings seem to pop up randomly around the country, this list is meant to offer a small insight into where Americans are filing reports.

Colorado-Utah: Multiple witnesses report low flying orb UFOs

UFO sightings in Colorado and Utah have been under the spotlight after a local TV news reporter spotted UFOs himself and caught them on camera. Case reports from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) reveal recent similar sightings over the past several weeks from both states.

County and local police in Colorado have been investigating UFO reports there with a comment from NORAD that no anomalies have been tracked in that area. Fox 13 in Salt Lake City, Utah, covered the story too of unusual objects spotted in the sky.

Multiple Colorado witnesses are reporting the same UFO in both daytime and nighttime sightings over the past few weeks, according to recent MUFON case reports. There have been a total of 27 total UFO reports since September 1, 2014.

MUFON Science Review Board Director Robert Powell, reached in Texas yesterday, said an investigation has begun and that MUFON is looking into how some of the cases might be the same object.

“At least 11 of those 27 reports are related to the same type of object,” Powell said today. “The characteristics are daytime sightings, usually early morning or late evening, of circular orb-type objects at high altitude. There is a good possibility these are the Google Loon balloons.”

Project Loon is under development by Google with a mission to provide Internet access to rural areas. High-altitude balloons are placed at an altitude of about 20 miles to create an aerial wireless network with up to 3G-like speeds.

Utah MUFON is especially interested in Case 60490 that occurred on October 2, 2014, as a mass sighting from Salt Lake City to Vernal.

Case 60450, 6:45 p.m., Elizabeth, CO.  Witness took a series of photos that have orbs in them. No images uploaded with report. Under investigation.

October 5, 2014

Case 60402, 1:30 p.m., Austin, Delta County, CO. “Triangular white orbs flying around above me out in desert.” Witness video (seen below). Under investigation.

Case 60462, Northglenn, Adams County, CO. Witness observed a black object overhead. “We noticed it had little red lights on the bottom and two bright, white lights in the front. It moved real slow right over us and we watched several planes fly close to it. A 737 was passing right by it maybe 600 yards; and it blinked its lights twice right next to it. I know that pilot saw it. The object slowly moved northwest and slowly moved straight up until it vanished.” Under investigation.

40,000-Year-Old Cave Paintings Found In Indonesia (Video)

A cave in Indonesia that’s home to some of the oldest paintings in the world.

The hand stencils and paintings of animals were created between 35,000 and 40,000 years ago – making them at least as old as similar artwork in Europe.

Here, using uranium-series dating of coralloid speleothems directly associated with 12 human hand stencils and two figurative animal depictions from seven cave sites in the Maros karsts of Sulawesi, we show that rock art traditions on this Indonesian island are at least compatible in age with the oldest European art.

The earliest dated image from Maros, with a minimum age of 40 thousand years, is now the oldest known hand stencil in the world.

In addition, a painting of a babirusa (‘pig-deer’) made at least 35.4 thousand years ago is among the earliest dated figurative depictions worldwide, if not the earliest one.

Among the implications, it can now be demonstrated that humans were producing rock art by 40 thousand years ago at opposite ends of the Pleistocene Eurasian world.

My wife and I found these 5 incredible daytime disc polaroid photos in an old photo album belonging to her grandfather, who was a captain in the air force and was stationed in Albuquerque, NM from 1961-1965. the man seen in the picture pointing to the object is my wife's grandfather. Swarm Of 800,000 Bees Kills Arizona Gardener

A swarm of bees has killed a man in Arizona and sent another to hospital.

The two were working at a house in Douglas, a town on the border with Mexico, when they were attacked.

They were part of a group of four cutting grass and weeding for the owner of the house, a 90-year-old man who was not stung, news reports said.

According to the Arizona Republic, one worker had collapsed and was in respiratory arrest by the time then emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene.

He died at the hospital. The other was stung about 100 times, the newspaper said.

A huge hive, about 4ft wide (1.2m) and 6ft long (1.8m), was found inside the home's attic. It was believed to be a decade old and some 800,000 bees were estimated to be inside.

A beekeeper later exterminated it after parts of the roof of the home were torn off.

The Fire Department used foam and pesticide and cordoned off several blocks of the street for several hours.

Authorities have warned neighbours to be alert.

The landscapers worked for an association called The Douglas Arc, a group of people with developmental disabilities, CBS reported. They do landscaping work around town. - SKY

Manned mission to Mars: Will astronauts hibernate their way to the Red Planet?

With travel to Mars taking upward of 180 days – one way – NASA is considering the possibility putting astronauts into a medicated deep sleep for the trip.

Torpor, a state of reduced physiological activity, would reduce astronauts’ metabolic functions, and costs, according to a NASA-backed study conducted by Atlanta-based aerospace engineering firm SpaceWorks Enterprises. The physical inactivity paired with intravenous feeding might mean a crew could essentially be put in hibernation during transit to Mars.

Torpor occurs naturally when a human experiences hypothermia, but hospitals have been using it to treat patients for more than three decades.

“Therapeutic torpor has been around in theory since the 1980s and really since 2003 has been a staple for critical care trauma patients in hospitals,” aerospace engineer Mark Schaffer of SpaceWorks Enterprises told the International Astronomical Congress in Toronto this week, according to Discovery News. “Protocols exist in the most major medical centers for inducing therapeutic hypothermia on patients to essentially keep them alive until they can get the kind of treatment that they need.”

Taking measures to reduce human activity are prompted by questions of how to minimize the crew “footprint” on space habitat architecture. Theoretically, sleeping astronauts would require less food, water, and oxygen, thus significantly cutting the price tag on a six month journey. It could also eliminate ancillary crew accommodations including food galley, exercise equipment, and entertainment.

But the longest period a patient has ever been held in torpor has been limited to two weeks, according to the report.

“For human Mars missions, we need to push that to 90 days, 180 days. Those are the types of mission flight times we’re talking about,” Schaffer told Discovery News.

Humans who have undergone multiple torpor induction cycles have reported no negative or detrimental effects, according to the SpaceWorks study.

The study indicates a fivefold reduction in the amount of pressurized volume and a threefold reduction in mass required for a crew. A crew in stasis could almost halve baseline mission tonnage requirements to about 220.

The approach is based on extending the current and evolving medical practice of therapeutic hypothermia, a proven and effective treatment for various traumatic injuries that lowers a patient’s body temperature by 5 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit causing their metabolism to reduce significantly and the body to enter an unconscious state.

The Mars-bound astronauts would then be intravenously fed a mixture containing all essential nutrients for a human to function through a process called total parental nutrition (TPN). Muscle atrophy could be remedied through automated physical therapy tools and neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES).

The crew would be cycled in and out of stasis such that one crew member is conscious at all times during the transit, yielding minimal impact to the habitat.

The study also pointed to potential psychological benefits for astronauts:

“It is reasonable to assume that the crew’s mental well-being will be substantially improved by effectively eliminating the 400 days spent in transit to and from Mars. They will enter the torpor state upon Earth departure and awake in Mars orbit approximately 200 days later. This can avoid many of the challenges with crew compatibility, potential interpersonal conflicts, boredom, and depression.”

Although more research and review is still required, to date, the team has found no “show-stoppers.” - CSMonitor

Skeleton of Possible 'Witch Girl' Found

An archaeological dig in northern Italy has unearthed the remains of a 13-year-old-girl buried face-down -- evidence, archaeologists say, that despite her young age, she was rejected by her community and seen as a danger even when dead.

Dubbed by Italian media as “the witch girl,” the skeleton was unearthed at the complex of San Calocero in Albenga on the Ligurian Riviera, by a team of the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology at the Vatican.

The site, a burial ground on which a martyr church dedicated to San Calocero was built around the fifth and sixth centuries A.D., was completely abandoned in 1593.

The prone burial, which has yet to be radiocarbon dated, is thought to date from the late antiquity or the early Middle Ages.

“These rare burials are explained as an act of punishment. What the dead had done was not accepted by the community,” said Stefano Roascio, the excavation director. Like other deviant burials, in which the dead were buried with a brick in the mouth, nailed or staked to the ground, or even decapitated and dismembered, the face-down treatment aimed to humiliate the dead and impede the individual from rising from the grave.

“In particular, the prone burial was linked to the belief that the soul left the body through the mouth. Burying the dead face-down was a way to prevent the impure soul threatening the living,” anthropologist Elena Dellù told Discovery News.

In extreme cases, a face-down burial was used as the ultimate punishment, with the victim horrifically buried alive.

It wasn’t a treatment used on the teenage girl, however.

“The skeleton’s position rules out this possibility,” Dellù said.

Found with her hands placed on the pelvis and straight and parallel legs, the girl showed no apparent signs of a violent death in her bones. However, Dellù noticed porotic hyperostosis on the skull and orbits. These areas of spongy or porous bone tissue are the result of a severe anaemia.

“She could have suffered from an inherited blood disorder such as thalassemia or from hemorrhagic conditions. More simply, it could have been an iron lacking diet,” Dellù said.

Standing just under 5 feet tall, the young girl somehow scared the community -- perhaps it was just her pallor, her possible hematomas and fainting.

Intriguingly, her disrespectful burial was found in a privileged area, just in front of the church.

“This makes the finding even more unusual. A similar case of a teenager buried face-down in front of a church was found at the archaeological site of Pava near Siena,” Roascio told Discovery News.

“A precise dating of the skeleton and further research on similar burials might help in finding more clues,” Roascio said.

According to Caroline Arcini of Sweden's National Heritage Board, prone burials are not as rare as it may seem and have occurred across the world from 26,000 years ago up to the early 20th century.

The author of the first global study on face-down burials, Arcini has recorded more than 600 bodies who had suffered the indignity of a face-down burial from 215 grave sites. Such data suggests the phenomenon is “a conscious act, a deep-seated form of human behavior occurring in all cultures and religions,” Arcini said.

“There is a clear pattern indicating that prone burials were used for those who were different,” she added.

The researcher also recorded a case of a prone burial in front of a church.

“It was an individual male dating to the medieval period. He was killed by both sword and crossbow,” Arcini told Discovery News.

“He was buried in a cist and a bracelet partly made of gold around his wrist indicated that his social position was high,” she added. - Discovery

 Joe Martino writes, “In what is a cool mainstream find, Russian cosmonauts have discovered LIFE clinging to the outside of the International Space Station. This is the first time living organisms have been found on the space station and scientists are not sure how it got there.

Cosmonauts have found microorganisms on the exterior of the Inter national Space Station. The creatures were found during a space walk to clean the surface of the space station. The organisms seem to be a type of sea plankton and how they remained alive in space is what seems to be troubling scientists. According to Sploid, Russian scientists are both “shocked by [the] discovery and can’t really explain how [it] is possible.”

“Results of the experiment are absolutely unique,” Russian ISS Orbital Mission Chief Vladimir Solovyev told the ITAR-TASS News Agency. “This should be studied further.”

To some of us we might already believe in aliens, others may not hold that belief, either way; this is cool news because it further shows the possibility of life in space for those that currently don’t believe it’s possible.

                                    Some scientists believe that the organisms were carried from the ocean by uplifting air currents. Since the organisms are not native to Baikanour, Kazakhstan where the vessel took off, many don’t believe they were brought up during flight. This makes it very difficult to answer the question: “How did they get there?”                                               

The organisms found on the vessel have a mouth, limbs, digestive tract, muscles, and a nervous system! They are aliens! Just not in the typical sense we may picture when thinking about life in space. Known as tardigrades, these little creatures are amazing at enduring harsh conditions, which is why drawing the conclusion that they could have originated in space isn’t so tough.

To believers in aliens this is a mainstream discovery that will help open the minds of those who deny any possibility of life in space.

UFOs and Water

Carl Feindt, Fletcher Gray and I were filmed recently for the Hangar 1 Television show and I was impressed by Carl’s book “UFOs and Water.”  

Carl Feindt as a boy carved balsa replicas of flying machines and in his teens flew model aircraft. He became a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol and went on to study aircraft engineering at the Academy of Aeronautics in New York City. Following two years of service in the Air Force, he joined a major airline where he worked for over three decades.

Upon retirement he became active in Ufology and did research for Jan Aldrich. Over the course of eight years, he studied microfilm at the University of Delaware between 1923 and 1967. To his amazement, he found 750 UFO-related articles in Delaware. Intrigued by the fact that aircraft, as we know them, cannot emerge from water or submerge into water, he started assembling water-related UFO cases that has grown increasingly.

 He book starts with various UFO abduction stories to reveal the physical changes observed by the abductees, on the water environment. Whether one believes in the reality of abductions or not, the stories of the physical aspects of the UFOs involved in these tales remains consistent with the stories described by others that have NOT been abducted. You have tremendous potential.  Think about the difference you can make, even in your limited situation. The very fact you are reading this you have exceptional knowledge that you can use to succeed.

Warning Letter from Sandra

Hi George, Last week you published an article within your newsletter entitled “ISIS Terror Attacks” which contained the following paragraph:

Islamic State fighters backed by tanks have captured 21 Kurdish villages over the past weekend in northern Syria near the Turkish border, prompting two hundred thousand civilians to flee their homes.

ISIS has a record of attacking schools and beheading children that they will likely attempt in the West. When police and parents rush to schools in suburban and rural areas they will ambush them for the maximum publicity.

 These attacks will cripple any economy and possibly create a Constitutional crisis as the population demands action against this insurgency within the country.  

I point this out to you, because imagine my shock when I read your newsletter just five days after I received the following information.

 “What is important to know right now about the atrocities that isis is playing out in the public eye…such as beheadings.  This is only the tip of the ice berg in terms of what is planned next.

 ISIS has plotted one of the most horrific games of total barbarity that one can imagine. They are taking fear and violence to the next level and plan to bring this to America’s doorstep when they address the vulnerability of children live on screen to the horror of millions who are watching helplessly as the news covers this tragedy live and in color. They plan to cut their throats. They have done this already. Look up news reports for isis killing children by cutting their throats.

They have no problem doing this, and right now they plan to attack a Christian school in the u.s. within the next three months. This could go into next year if certain factors affect the timing, but it is targeted for December amidst the Christmas backdrop…a Christmas play or pageant or concert at a Christian school is the prime target. They will lock down the event and force parents to watch the slaughter of their children and then kill the parents. This is targeted for Dallas, Texas…but has backup locations prepared as well and in fact may be a multi-city event.

The FBI is launching a campaign asking the public for help in identifying foreign fighter terrorists, the bureau announced Tuesday while  setting up an online form for submitting potential tips. “We need the public’s assistance in identifying U.S. persons going to fight overseas with terrorist groups or who are returning home from fighting overseas,” said Michael Steinbach, assistant director of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division. Kobani Kurdish City is Fighting ISIS

Turkish-Syrian border (CNN) — Intense street fighting raged in the Kurdish Syrian city of Kobani of 40,000 as ISIS continues its attack and its attempt to capture the key city on the border with Turkey. ISIS fighters planted their flag on a hill on the eastern side of Kobani, and then punched through defenses to open up the route for more troops to move inside the city. ISIS has raised flags from a hilltop on the eastern side of the city and from a building in the southern entrance. Kurdish forces claim they are running low on ammunition. As ISIS fighters attacked with tanks and heavy artillery, the city’s defenders vowed to keep fighting. The US launched several air strikes allegedly knocking out some ISIS fighting positions.

Heavy casualties occurred on both sides of the fighting as clashes spread from street to street. Kurdish forces have successfully pushed some ISIS forces back to the edge of the city.

Idris Nassan, deputy foreign minister of Kobani district, told Reuters by phone. “This is their biggest retreat since their entry into the city and we can consider this as the beginning of the countdown of their retreat from the area.”

Islamic State had been advancing on the strategically important town from three sides and pounding it with artillery despite dogged resistance from heavily outgunned Kurdish forces.

Defense experts said it was unlikely that the advance could be halted by air power alone — a fact that left not only Washington but also the Syrian Kurds’ ethnic kin across the border demanding to know why the Turkish tanks lined up within sight of Kobani had not rolled across the frontier.

The fall of the city would carry huge symbolic and strategic weight, giving ISIS sway over an uninterrupted swatch of land between the Turkish border and its self-declared capital in Raqqa, Syria, 62 miles away. The Turkish military and police using tear gas, blocked people fleeing the embattled city from crossing the border. Kurdish riots with 19 killed are occurring throughout Turkey requesting Turkish intervention into Kobani.

ISIS managed to close in on Kobani on three sides despite airstrikes by the United States and allied forces. US Central Command boss Army Gen. Lloyd Austin said, participating allies were flying sorties at the very moment. Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia all contributed forces to the initial waves. The ISIS forces are well spread out and recent airstrikes took out several fighting positions near Kobani.

A B-1 bomber circled Kobani for almost an hour attempting to locate targets flying slow with wings extended.

One senior military official said many ISIS targets in Kobani are too close to the Turkish border or Kurdish forces to strike inside the city. Coordination between ground forces and air strikes is important for effective support of the ground forces. I was trained as a Forward Air Controller and hopefully some controllers will be put in place in Kobani to coordinate the attacks. I also flew C-130s and suggest we send in C-130 gunships with two state-of-the-art fire-control systems that can see through the dark of night, clouds, and smoke. An AC-130U has a 25mm Gatling gun for area suppression, a precision 40mm cannon, and a 105mm cannon which can engage hard targets.

Intelligent Extraterrestrial Life Is Already Here

He is urging the public not to be so surprised when extraterrestrial life is discovered, because it will be discovered. He even said that he would be happy to baptize them, if it’s intelligent extraterrestrial life that’s discovered. The Vatican has been very open to the idea of intelligent extraterrestrial life, and they’ve expressed these views for a very long time.

There are multiple reasons why the extraterrestrial question continues to gain popularity. People are starting to ask questions about the world around them, utilizing critical thinking and investigation. After thoroughly investigating this topic your conclusions will be similar to the conclusions of the majority, we are not alone, and we are being visited.

Earth is not the center of the universe, it’s not flat, and it’s looking very likely that the next major paradigm shifting revelation will be the fact that we are not alone in the universe. Malibu Underwater Base?

Jimmy Church is a friend of mine who introduced this underwater base to the world by posting them on his website after discovery by a listener of Jimmy’s live radio program Fade to Black on DarkMatterRadio.net. Jimmy appeared with George Noory on October 2, 2014, Jimmy Church, discussed his work researching and breaking the story about the Malibu deep underwater “base” or platform on Coast to Coast.

Discovered through sonar mapping and topology studies, the top of the structure is 150 feet down, which suggests that it was above the water 10,000 years ago, he reported. Church believes the mysterious platform may have been a celebrated covered entrance to an inland river 10,000 to 50,000 years ago. UFOs were seen above the alleged base. Robbert van den Broeke writes, “The crop circle phenomenon raises many questions. How are they? Who or what makes them? What is their message? Below I briefly summarize what happens to me just before, and during, the emergence of a circle (formation).”

The earth has a nervous system, a network of energy channels that is invisible to most people. In several places there are in the energetic network mount points, a kind of funnel where cosmic energy enters the earth. It works basically like a magnet attracts metal. By an interaction between cosmic and earthly energy creates crop circles and symbols. The energy lines of the earth are very dirty and clogged with man (by pollution and wars) induced negative energy and should be, say, ‘angioplasty’. During the cleaning they initially create a crop circle on a mount point. Then a loving energy is given for all living beings. The symbols that appear are signs of our subconscious, a key to spiritual wisdom to evolve. After the cleaning of the energy network circles remain and can be visited, which provides their energy to heal or strengthen humans. After visiting a crop circle you often get an insight into life’s issues. The energy of the formation also affects the consciousness of the people in their own environment, but each person decides what he or she does with that energy.

Since my fifteenth year I can sense when and where a crop circle will arise. They can occur in grain as well as other crops, such as grass, and even in snow. It always starts with the same kind of feeling, often a week in advance. That feeling is best described as happy and loving. As it gets stronger, I get pictures from the area where the formation occurs; sometimes I even get street names. I may also obtain data on how the formation will look and I make a sketch of it right away. The sketch often turns out to correspond with reality. I often get a strong feeling just after midnight so strong that I have to go. I always call a good friend of mine who goes with me and I know exactly where we have to drive to. It is an inner knowing. When we arrive the circle is often already there, but once I saw the circles themselves arrive. I’ve observed orbs several times as the formation appeared. Nancy Talbott (of BLT Research Inc), has scientifically researched me and the crop circle phenomenon for over 15 years, Nancy is also a good friend of mine, and also witnessed the emergence of a circle formation and filmed orbs.

California Orb

Sun City — I started seeing strange glowing objects in the sky in 2012. I considered them strange because I never saw anything move so fast or change colors and shape like this did on August 25, 2012. I brushed it off. I moved to another city not far from the first and again I started to see fast moving glowing objects in the sky. I have now installed security cameras and captured amazing footage. Colorado Cylinder

Vail – I am a MUFON Investigator currently inactive and work as a security officer at a facility in Vail. I was patrolling outside on September 15, 2014, at about 6:35 AM and the moon was visible and in the 4th quarter. Below and to the right of the moon I noticed a bright hovering object in the sky, that was too big to be a planet, and it was already too bright out for these to be visible.

I took several pictures with my IPhone at 6:40 AM, and checked ‘Heavens Above’ website but there was no star in the area. I then went out and watched with numerous employees as the object started moving slowly east at 6:57 AM. By 8 AM the object had flown to the SSE. The FAA told me there were no large balloons in the area. Denver TV 9 News/KUSA had similar video of a high speed UFO. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Florida Disc

 Port Saint Joe — My aunt took four pictures of one of their houses on September 29, 2014. After I zoomed in to look at the picture of the house I noticed something above it that has a circular body with what seems to be two triangular type appendages such as wings attached to it. When zoomed in you can see a slight change in color where the appendage meets the circular body, suggesting a change in depth or texture. There were no kites being flown, birds, or jets were nearby. The pictures were taken from an iPhone 5 camera. Thanks to MUFON CMS

 Miami — I was taking panoramic pictures with my Iphone-5 on October 2, 2014, and one of the last pictures shows an object. Before or after picture do not show the object.

Georgia Light

 Silver Creek – On October 4, 2014, I looked up to the bright moon which was and noticed a yellow air/jet stream near the moon. I looked up the stream and saw a very bright, hovering, yellow light. My step-dad was also looking and described it as being “like a missile moving extremely fast straight up.” After a few seconds it abruptly changed direction and flew over us. We yelled to my Mom, and everyone in the house came running out in their pajamas. They were all amazed as the UFO blinked a white light, then it was gone. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Mehrauli — I was standing on the terrace and saw stationery white light in the sky on October 3, 2014. It was stationary for 10-15 minutes. I happen to believe in UFOs as seen on the History Channel.

Noblesville — A friend posted this picture in an instagram that had a ufo in the photo taken for his photography project. The photo was taken on the lake on July 7, 2014.

The UFO was noticed well after the picture was taken. The lake is called Morse. He just happened to find the UFO in the background and sometime after the photo was taken. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Missouri State Troopers Triangle Close Encounter

 Joplin — “I work in law enforcement as a State Trooper, so I don’t want my real name used. I’ve never seen anything like this before. I was driving north alone on Highway 49 at 5:12 AM, on September 2, 2014, when a light caught my eye to the NE. As I drove closer I slowed the vehicle because it was too low to be a plane. I then noticed structure of the object as it flew slowly towards me. As it got closer I noticed a teardrop or triangular shaped craft.

I saw three rectangular yellowish glowing windows on the top with movement inside. The craft was at least 100 feet+ wide and 25 feet high. It was black metallic craft with amber and red glowing lights that were a foot to two feet in diameter. There was a low hum coming from the object as it passed and then spun around like a top and reversed direction. I heard a loud static noise come from my radio for 15 seconds. The object then moved away slowly to the east until I could no longer see it. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New Jersey Orb

Marlton — I was stopped at a red light at the Route 73 intersection, and looked up to see a bright, greenish-white orb of light move across the sky on October 3, 2014. It appeared to leave a white trail, maybe a fireball. It didn’t look that far up in the sky, pretty close actually. After 3 or 4 seconds it just disappeared in the clouds. I was thinking it was a meteor, or space debris entering the atmosphere or something, but part of me feels it was extraterrestrial. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Pennsylvania Flying Object

My daughter and I were going to town and decided to take a couple of fall pictures with my phone. The two pictures I took were less than 5-10 seconds apart. The first picture has weird smoke circles. The second has an object I cannot explain that was shown in a reflection on my car hood. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Lake Erie — I was watching the 11 o’clock newscast in Erie on September 26, 2014, and at the end they always use a live camera shot from the top of the antenna camera. That night unlike others I noticed something out over the lake. It was moving slowly from right to left; much too slow to be a plane and much larger than a helicopter. It’s a cigar shape with a small strip of light missing in the middle. I was able to record it. I have never noticed anything out of the ordinary like this shot. San Antonio – I was in my back yard taking photos of deer on September 22, 2014. I took three separate photos within less than a minute. I didn’t notice anything until I was reviewing the photos.

Brazil Ovni

 Boissucanga, São Sebasti — I have a video footage of an OVNI shining lights at the southeastern Brazilian shore last Saturday October 4, 2014. The objects were noticed as the sun went down and its lights became strong.

The object was completely still since we found it flying in the sky. The distance was too long and the light was so sharp that it does not refer to a balloon, helicopter or anything we already know of. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Canada Blue Light

Montreal – During a weather forecast on October 2, 2014, a green UFO shot past Colette Provencher the weather announcer at 10:37 PM. The news anchor was oblivious to the UFO, but it was noticed by the camera man and later posted to their news site. The green UFO descends very slowly and turns orange before the sky is clear.

Hong Kong – UFOs have been seen and recorded around the world over the protests areas on September 30, 2014. This UFO is round and moving from the sky downward toward active Hong Kong protesters.

At the end of the video we see the UFO shoot up and disappear. Although this is unidentified, it could be a news or government drone recording the protesters activities. Hard to say 100% unless we get better video out of Hong Kong, but to me it does look to be far away and a very large craft. Thanks to ufosightingsdaily.com

Athens – Unfortunately I have no I-phone to capture them, only binoculars. The flying object was over the Acropolis on October 5, 2014. I have seen also many orbs at Mythos Mountain in Athens for the last 20 days every day!

Israel Cylinder

Tel Aviv — My partner and I were sitting facing west at 6:25PM, with the balcony open on October 3, 2014. All of a sudden we noticed a flat white object flying slowly and silently at sunset over the ocean. It is Yom Kippur in Israel, and all flights in the country stopped a couple of hours before then. A smaller object appeared further away. Both of them kept flying silently at identical speed and gradually got further away when both disappeared. The country is on alert but they didn’t trigger any danger sirens. Thanks to MUFON CMS

 Japan Volcano’s UFOs

Mt. Ontake – The Volcano erupted this week in Japan, and was broadcasted all over national news on September 29, 2014. One person in Japan caught these two white UFOs come from the mountain area. They were heading into the cloud to hide. Over 36 people are feared dead from this volcano’s explosion and UFOs are seen in the area! Did aliens cause the explosion when the ships exited the volcano mouth, or is all coincidence?

Doors into underground bases are made by the ground being squeezed into a hollow tunnel so that the ship can come and go. Operations could cause slight earthquakes resulting in eruptions if near a volcano.  Perhaps they predicted the eruption and wanted to record the event for research. Thanks to ufosightingsdaily.com

 United Kingdom/England Sightings

Liverpool — I was trying to record the strange noise outside on October 3, 2014 that I hear all the time. So I setup my mike at 7:21 pm, and started the test recording on my laptop.

Then I looked up and saw the object so I grabbed my camera and started recording the object. About 5 minutes later I saw it again; but by the time I turned on my camera it had gone. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Kington, Herefordshire — The object variously travelled in an east to west zigzag flight pattern, as it came from a southerly direction on September 22:2014.

The object had a bright lighted shape with Christmas tree like multiple lights flying low from the south. The object ended up behind trees at the bottom of a field which contained sheep 200 yards from our house. The white triangular object was observed for about ten minutes. Later, a sheep was found dead near a farm gate.

5 Historical Photos Of Amazing Flying Saucer Found In Air Force Captain’s Photo Album  (Amazing Photos)

(N.Morgan) An amazing discovery has brought some rather intriguing UFO photos to light and they belonged to an Air Force Captain. In these photos below, you can clearly see flying saucers around what appears to be an military installation. Does this conclusively prove that UFOs are our military’s weaponry? These interesting photos of a disc-shaped UFO were just reported to MUFON. They were allegedly taken in April 1962 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Here’s the report from the submitter: My wife and I found these 5 incredible daytime disc Polaroid photos in an old photo album belonging to her grandfather, who was a captain in the air force and was stationed in Albuquerque NM from 1961-1965. the man seen in the picture pointing to the object is my wife’s grandfather. i scanned these photos in and blew them up and they are very compelling. If it was a hoax, it’s a good one.

New York to California Flight Passenger Takes Photo of UFO

A friend of mine was flying on a commercial airliner from New York to California when he saw another airplane that appeared to be leaving a con-trail or a chem-trail.
He knows that I am interested in chem-trails so he decided to take a few pictures of the plane to send to me.
After looking at the pictures I noticed that there was something else in the picture that did not seem like it should be there.
The image quality is pretty high, it was taken with an iPhone camera. When I zoomed in on the object it appeared to have structure.
I tried to rule out things like it being dirt on the outside window, but he took a total of 3 pictures out the same window and this object is only visible in two of them, which would lead me to believe it was not some sort of smudge or something like that.
I think he might have accidentally captured a craft of some kind, that might have actually been following the plane that was leaving the trails.

Everyone’s heard of Stonehenge.  You could probably venture into the Amazonian jungle and seek out an untouched tribe of hunter-gatherers, spend months gaining their trust and learning their language, fighting off dysentery while you’re at it, and when their chief finally makes you an honorary member of their society, against the emphatic advice of his shaman, you could ask them if they’ve heard of Stonehenge, and the answer would probably be: yes.

Some might say that’s overstating the matter a touch, but the point stands.  The sarsen stones of Wiltshire are famous; they’ve made their way into popular culture the world over.  Though, would it surprise you to know that Stonehenge isn’t the only megalithic stone circle in the world?  Probably not, but most don’t realise that there are somewhere on the order of 5000 stone circles around the world.  Some exist as collections of circles, like the Senegambian circles in Gambia, Senegal, which are counted as one circle in the global list, but which actually consists of more than 1000 individual monuments covering an area of 15,000 square miles.

Great Britain boasts a large number of these Neolithic sites, but they don’t have a monopoly on henges, as they’re called over there.  One of their neighbours actually has quite a few as well.

Standing alongside such geological oddities as Russia’s Manpupuner stone pillars, or the Seven Sleeping Giants, some of the most interesting Neolithic monuments stand within the borders of the former Soviet Union.

Arkaim is one of those sites.  Arkaim, or Аркаим in Russian, is considered by some to be the most important and enigmatic archaeological site in northern Europe.  The site is wrapped in controversy and is sometimes referred to as Russia’s Stonehenge.  It sits on the outskirts of the Chelyabinsk oblast in the southern Urals, just north of the Kazakhstan border.  Though it’s not a stone circle in the way that Stonehenge is a stone circle.

Arkaim is the remnants of an ancient settlement, which is basically a village that was fortified by two large stone circular walls.  The settlement covers an area of some 220,000sq-ft and consists of two circles of dwellings separated by a street, with a central community square in the center.  The site was discovered (rediscovered?) in 1987 by a team of Russian archaeologists, and a wave of excitement washed through the world of archaeology.  The site and associated artefacts have been dated to the 17^th century BCE and it’s generally agreed that it was built somewhere between 4000-5000 years ago, which puts it in the same age bracket as Stonehenge.

Arkaim has another name, one that’s not exactly kosher.  It’s called Swastika City, or alternately Mandala City.  It has this name for a couple reasons, firstly, if one uses their imagination, the layout of the dwellings around the central square almost looks like it’s in the shape of a swastika.  As we all know the swastika is the misappropriated sign of the Nazis and of the so-called Aryan race, and which has been adopted by modern white-supremacy groups.  The second reason is that the settlement is thought to have been of the Sintashta culture, which is an Indo-Iranian race (actually a language identity) of the ancient Eurasian Steppe, or in common terms, the Aryan race.  So, as you can see, there are those who would like to assert that Arkaim is in fact the birthplace of the superior white race of humans, though few in mainstream science see any value in that line of reasoning.

The site holds more interesting secrets than just its association to a politically incorrect aspect of our culture however.

It has been of great interest to archaeoastronomers, and therein lies the reason for its association with Stonehenge.  It’s long been known that Stonehenge has and was built with astronomical observation in mind.  In fact it’s technically called an observatory.  Stonehenge allowed for, and possibly may still allow for observations of 10 astronomical phenomena using 22 elements, whereas some archaeoastronomers claim that Arkaim allows for observations of 18 phenomena using 30 elements.  This essentially means that certain events in the sky could be observed and tracked by using the site in particular ways and from different positions, and that Arkaim offered more observable events than Stonehenge.

 It would seem that Arkaim is an even better astronomical observatory than its namesake.  According to Russian archaeologist K.K. Bystrushkin Stonehenge offers an observational accuracy of 10-arc minutes to a degree, whereas Arkaim offers accuracy of 1-arc minute.[1]  This precision is unheard of in the time frame allowed, and was only surpassed by that documented in the Almagest of ancient Greece some 2000 years later.

It may seem obvious to some, but the fact that these sites were apparently constructed, deliberately, to act as astronomical observatories and even calendars of a sort, before the same expertise was achieved in the great foundational empires of antiquity, like the Egyptians and the Greeks, is seemingly strong evidence for attributing greater development and sophistication to these pre-historic cultures.  The more conspiratorial among us might even say that these sites offer clues to the existence of an unknown or lost civilization in our distant past.

Arkaim is but one example of the rich archaeological bounty hidden away in the Russian interior.  Similar sites have been lost to industrial progress, such as Sarkel, a limestone and brick fortress built by the Khazar culture in 830AD, which was flooded by the Russian government for the construction of the Tsimlyansk resevior in 1952.  Due to the secrecy and lack of academic cooperation during the cold war and possibly to language barriers, many such sites still exist, but have yet to be explored and analysed, and more still are yet to be discovered.

This is footage that was taken out of my own camera from inside of an apartment complex in El Paso, TX on Oct. 4th, 2014 starting at 7:16 PM. The second set of footage was taken starting at 7:29 PM. I believe these to be Unidentified Flying Objects because of the strange ways that the lights in the sky were moving. There was no perceivable wind that day. The lights took upon triangular and “V” formations throughout the footage, and at a few points, one appears to go up while the other goes down, and one goes left while the other goes right. At certain points, the UFO’s began to hover until disappearing into the night’s sky. I don’t know what these lights were, but I think “Chinese lanterns” is the incorrect answer for some reason, and the local police stated that they hadn’t heard any reports of “Golden Knights” or “Chinese Lantern” activities..

Position: I was standing in the NE part of El Paso close to the Walgreens on Dyer/Wren St. I was facing the direction of East to Northeast when I was capturing the footage. Keep in mind that I was facing the direction of land that is owned by the military at Fort Bliss, so maybe it’s some kind of advanced military craft. To be honest, I have no idea what these lights were. I scoured the internet for any evidence of Golden Knights and/or Chinese Lantern shows/activities, and I could find nothing, so your guess is as good as mine at this point.

Thank you for once again demonstrating your illogicality and inaccuracy with regard to the MJ-12 documents. Your basic rule is: Absence of evidence is evidence for absence which is illogical. Let me be specific, though as you know from previous items I have written, I provided a long list of examples. You bring up Willingham again for reasons unknown. I have never said that his story proves anything. Of course I don't have any evidence that there was a saucer crash at el Indio Guerrero. on 06 December, 1950.The document says ..."By the time the search team arrived, what remained of the object had been almost totally incinerated. Such material as could be recovered was transported to the A.E.C. facility at Sandia, New Mexico, for study." That was a nuclear weapons lab. As you are well aware, I do not have access to classified information about the results of that study or anything else. That surely doesn't mean that there was no study done. I suspect that the search team was there because "the long trajectory" was observed on radar and would also have provided classified information.
You have described the response of Peter Tytel, a noted forensic Documents examiner to whom I had sent a copy of the EBD "it was just perfect because the whole thing of the twelve pages or however many pages it was. Most of the pages were blank pages with just five words written on them like TOP SECRET or Appendix A or something like that." The fact is the EBD was 7 pages (plus the TF memo) and only one (page 7) had just Appendix A on it.
Strangely you did not even include that page in your book. You quoted Tytel's off hand remark that the typewriter was of much later vintage. A full professional evaluation by James Black paid for by Dr. Robert M Wood stated the typeface was from an Underwood Standard from May 1940.
Several authorities claimed that TOP SECRET Restricted was not used during Ike's terms.
The GAO found examples and said so. Blind Luck? The date of the TF was the only day in a many month period when Truman, Bush and Forrestal met. Blind Luck? The hoaxer threw a dart at a dart board and found the one time when Cutler was out of the country so didn't sign the CT or put a /s/. Of course he blindly knew that Menzel would pass muster though nobody else did. He knew to put a period after the date on TF knowing that Bush always did. He knew that James Lay had been instructed to keep things moving out of Cutler's in Basket. George Elsey, who worked for Truman all the time he was President , said Lay would have written the memo for Cutler (after I pointed out Lay's instructions from Cutler and found that there was nothing wrong with the 3 documents, etc., ad nauseum).
Also chose an unusual carbon paper but knew it would eventually pass muster.
Another example is that you claimed truly that nowhere did I find any mention of MJ-12 in Donald Menzel's papers ... no Marginal notes, no oblique references etc. Menzel according to his own words to Jack Kennedy had been connected to the NSA and its Navy predecessor for decades. I have seen no reference to this connection predating my discovery in his papers at the Harvard Archives. You expect him to have left classified notes and information lying around? There were no classified papers there. His secretary assured me that he was very careful about security. Remember that the 156 pages of NSA UFO documents finally released were classified TOP SECRET UMBRA and one could only read 1 line per page.
You are now claiming that Dr. Buskirk claimed that Gerald Anderson was in his anthro class.at Albuquerque High School. I have trouble believing that he did so claim. You will recall that I visited the high school and twice talked by phone to the student whom you claimed recalled Gerald from that class. He denied it even after I sent him and another student a copy of a picture of Gerald from the High School yearbook. Your evidence please—not your wishful thinking.
I have as you know, noted many pieces of data not known to be true until after we received the CT,TF, and EBD . How did a hoaxer know those?? Time travel such as invoked by the USAF when claiming Crash Test Dummies not dropped until 6 years after Roswell accounted for the Body stories?
Why do you falsely claim that I said the TF signature "exactly matches" one on a Truman Bush letter? You made that up. I said "matches" not "exactly matches."
That is as bad as Klass saying Letter 9 times for the TF MEMO and his falsely claiming Pica Type wasn't used at the NSC. He paid me $1000.00 for proving him wrong about that after I provided 14 examples.
Why don't you mention the findings of world class linguistics expert Dr. Roger Wescott who reviewed 27 examples of Hillenkoetter writings including the EBD and said "in my opinion there is no compelling reason to regard any of these communications as fraudulent or to believe that any of them were written by any one other than Hillenkoetter himself. This statement holds for the controversial presidential briefing memorandum of November 18, 1952 ...." You talk about drafts being destroyed. Onionskin copies were all over the place. None of the three is a draft. "Preliminary briefing" is not a draft.
The person who filmed the TOP SECRET MAJIC briefing and distributed the film to a person without a clearance or need to know was guilty of a crime. A hoaxer would have finally said gotcha. Provenance is a silly argument. Want a written confession, too? You have a solid military background, but still falsely claimed that calling Hillenkoetter Admiral (instead of rear admiral) meant the EBD was phony. You asked for another item by him with a signature. There is no signature by RHH on EBD In fact it was the standard practice to use generic ranks as you would have known if you had gone to the Ike Library. It is a lot closer to you than it is to me.
Time to throw in the towel. The 3 items are genuine.

Seriously? You trot out that old chestnut? Do you make the same comments about writing fiction to Bruce Maccabee, Nick Pope or Whitley Streiber or is it just me? Are you following the propagandist rule that if you say something loud enough and long enough someone will believe you?

I notice you continue to dodge the questions. You have no explanation for the lack of provenance. This is a major flaw.

Since you bring up Kaufmann, how about Gerald Anderson? He forged a document and admitted that. You know the diary he submitted about the 1947 event was written in ink that didn’t exist prior to 1973. And he took the class from Winfred Buskirk. How do I know? Because I was able to access the records before Anderson demanded that they be closed and those records proved that Anderson took Buskirk’s Anthropology course. I can say that now because those who helped me have retired. It was the same information that Buskirk received when he called his friends at Albuquerque High School and told me to check it out myself.

The December 6, 1950, alert has no relevance. It was based on a possible intrusion of American airspace by an unknown aircraft. It lasted about an hour and had nothing to do with a crash of anything in Mexico. Zechel changed the date of Willingham’s case for that very reason… and you have no idea what sources of information I have been able to tap.

But this second crash mentioned is the fatal flaw because it never happened outside of the mind of Robert Willingham. He invented the tale and this is the only source of information about it, unless, of course, you have something to prove it did happen.

And you haven’t bothered with the altered Truman signature on the memo. You forgot to mention that you approached Peter Tytell, a questioned document expert who told you to wash your hands of MJ-12 because the clues he found screamed hoax. And you know that he has not produced a written report because no one has paid his fee but anyone who talks to him learns the same things about that investigation.

You still haven’t commented on Bill Moore’s idea of creating a Roswell document. Nor have you commented on the original plan being laid out in his book Majik-12. Nor that Moore said the EBD contained disinformation which is, of course, a nice way to say that it filled with lies. And you haven’t mentioned Moore’s “confession” in Las Vegas that has badly damaged his credibility, which in turn, damages MJ-12. (And don’t ask how because it was Moore who provided the EBD to the world.)

No matter how many times you say it, you still haven’t been able to explain some of the major discrepancies. You are reduced to asking how the forger could have known some obscure facts when the answer is simple… blind luck. He also missed on some very big items.

Oh, by the way, drafts of highly classified documents are normally destroyed once the final is completed. They also destroy the notes, the typewriter ribbons and even the blank pages left on note pads to ensure that the information isn’t compromised. Until you can find some actual evidence of authenticity for the MJ-12 documents, these conversations go almost nowhere.
