There are about a million asteroids in Earth’s vicinity - but where are they all, and how much of a threat do they pose to our world?

To highlight just how many space rocks are in the solar system, an interactive animation has revealed the swirling mass of debris that could endanger our planet.

Charting the motion and collisions of asteroids over the next 50 years, the map lets you monitor the motion of particular asteroids - and even see how valuable they are.

The graphic was created using data from Asterank by Ian Webster, an engineer at Google. Asterank was acquired by Planetary Resources in 2013, a company that wants to start prospecting and mining asteroids in the next few years.

The database tracks 600,000 asteroids in total, which collects data from multiple sources. Some asteroids are expected to contain huge amounts of previous metals, and have thus been valued on the map.

‘With this information, we estimate the costs and rewards of mining asteroids,’ Mr Webster writes on the website. ‘Details on orbits and basic physical parameters are sourced from the Minor Planet Center and [Nasa’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory].

‘Composition data is based on spectral classification and size. Our calculations incorporate conclusions from multiple scientific publications in addition to cross-referencing known meteorite data.’

Using the infographic, you can view asteroids that are the most cost effective, the most valuable, the most accessible and the smallest.

You can also alter the speed at which they orbit, to see how their motion will change over the coming years.

Selecting an asteroid on the left will let you follow its orbit around the sun, while you can also centre the camera on the sun or Earth to watch the asteroids swirl around.

It is estimated that there are about 25,000 near-Earth objects (NEOs) larger than 460ft (140 metres), bodies that come close to Earth but don't necessarily hit our planet.

And there are also an estimated 1,000 NEOs larger than 3,280ft (one kilometre), highlighting the need to keep track of these space rocks.

On average, Earth is hit by a football pitch-sized rock every 5,000 years, and a civilisation-ending asteroid every one million years, according to Nasa's Near-Earth Object Program.

In the past year, a host of famous science names have joined forces to warn the world of the threat posed to Earth by asteroids.

In December, more than 100 leading scientists and astronauts from Dr Brian May to Chris Hadfield signed a declaration asking for increased action to tackle objects that could end life on Earth.

The experts called for a 100-fold increase in the detection and monitoring of so-called near Earth objects (NEOs).

HOW MUCH DANGER ARE WE IN?

Last year, the privately-funded B612 Foundation discovered that Earth is up to 10 times more likely to be hit than previously thought.

While the majority of the impacts occur either high up in the atmosphere, or in unpopulated areas including the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, the danger was still ever-present.

The findings were based on information released from the Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organisation.

This operates a network of sensors that monitor Earth around the clock listening for the infrasound signatures of nuclear detonations.

But what these sensors found were not nuclear explosions, but rather asteroid impacts on a huge scale.

Plusieurs membres du personnel à la centrale nucléaire de Golfech, située à environ 40 km à l'ouest de Montauban, ont vu passé au-dessus de leur lieu de travail un ovni. La scène s’est passée à 20h00 heure locale, le 6 octobre 2010. L’objet de forme triangulaire n’émettait aucun bruit et mesurait approximativement 50 mètres. Un informaticien, parmi le personnel choqué, a eu le réflexe de filmer la scène avec son portable. La vidéo est de mauvaise qualité, mais cet ovni a été plus loin repéré par radar, et l’affaire est ainsi prise très au sérieux par les gendarmes et le Geipan (Groupe d’Etudes et d’Information sur les Phénomènes Aérospatiaux non Identifiés).

L'affaire fait un buzz sur internet, pour ceux qui douteraient encore, voici un témoin direct en colère qui a écrit à un grand média français, la dépêche, en écrivant ceci :

"Bonjour. Ce soir là j'étais présent avec deux personnes claire et saine psychologiquement parlant. J'ai vu ces 3 "halos" de lumière et je ne suis pas le seul. On peut trouver sur internet assez de vidéos montrant la même chose sur d'autre ville comme en Alsace. La raison souvent expliquée est le fait d'avoir mis une sorte de ballon de couleur rouge avec une bougie à l'intérieur. Le problème est, que d'après l'observation à l’œil nu que j'ai faite ces objets ou halo étaient suffisamment lumineux pour ne pas être d'une source incandescente à la distance où ils se trouvaient sachant que dans mon champ de vision ils étaient derrière le soleil couchant, ils n'émettaient pas de bruit audible à l'oreille humaine et ils se déplaçaient à une vitesse stable puis ils ont subi une accélération importante et ont disparu sous les nuages. Ces nuages signifient qu'ils étaient à une altitude inférieure à 3km d'altitude. La formation triangulaire gardée sur la trajectoire n'est pas selon mes pensées dues au hasard. Je suis quelqu'un de (trop) terre à terre et assez pragmatique. l'explication rationnelle que j'en tire : une opération militaire visant probablement à la protection de la centrale? Mais l'énigme reste toujours incomprise sous le seul angle que cela était inaudible à l'oreille humaine?! Quelle est la technologie utilisée ? Mystère, nous cache-t-on des choses? Cela est certain."

With the recent ballyhoo about the "Roswell Slides" I thought it might be interesting to revisit something similar which to my knowledge has never been fully explained, debunked or really explored to this day. The whole incident occurred back in 1988 when Seligman Productions was preparing a 2hr UFO special called "UFO Cover-Up Live" hosted by none other then Mike Farrel of M.A.S.H fame.

The broadcast was a very interesting moment for several reasons, not the least of which was the global television revealing of a shocking series of computer generated models, but more on that later. So one of the interesting things about this broadcast was the use of two "whistle blowers" named "Condor" and "Falcon" who were said to be revealing some very important information including eventually the Majestic 12 documents. Condor and Falcon were part of a larger group called "The Aviary" who also included Bill Moore who later revealed that he had been a disinformation agent recruited by Falcon (Sgt. Richard Doty USAF) and Condor (Capt. Robert Collins USAF) and also participated in the death of Paul Bennewitz.

During the broadcast of UFO Coverup Live a series of explosive images were revealed which purported to be of a "Grey" alien. The computer models were provided by Curtis Brubaker who claimed to have placed a logo onto the graphics but later claimed he had received them from a high level source at Wright Paterson's Foreign Technology Division

Some interesting things to note:

At the time of their creation the images were tagged "FTD-WP" or Foreign Technology Division - Wright Paterson. This was the group at Wright Paterson which was involved in back engineering and investigations of non-United States technology such as alien technology.

The date of the models is given at 10/01-66 which I would assume is 10/1/1966. This is important because the capability to generate this kind of graphic was rare in 1988 let alone impossible in 1966, or was it?

There is a second identification on some of the graphics "FTD-SYD" which appears to be the unit under the Foreign Technology Division responsible for the models. It has been reported that "SYD" was under what was referred to as the "Technology and Sub Systems Directorate."

May 9, 2015 - The Phobos program was an unmanned space mission consisting of two probes launched by the Soviet Union to study Mars and its moons Phobos and Deimos. Phobos 1 launched on July 7, 1988, and Phobos 2 on July 12, 1988, each aboard a Proton-K rocket.

Phobos 1 suffered a terminal failure en route to Mars. Phobos 2 attained Mars orbit and returned 38 images with a resolution of up to 40 meters, but contact was lost prior to deployment of a planned Phobos lander.

Everything was going according to plan with Phobos 2, the spacecraft aligned itself with Phobos and then, suddenly strange things started happening. On the 28th March, the Soviet mission control center acknowledged sudden communication “problems” with the Phobos 2 and Tass (Telegraph Agency of the Soviet Union) , the official Soviet news agency, reported “Phobos 2 had failed to communicate with Earth as scheduled after completing an operation yesterday around the Martian moon Phobos. Scientists at mission control have been unable to establish stable radio contact.”

So what could have happened to cause the Phobos 2 spacecraft to malfunction?

Phobos 2 returned some images of the Martian surface and in one of those images a shadow of what appears to be a disk shaped object is clearly seen in the image. Dr. Becklake described it as “something that is between the spacecraft and Mars, because we can see the Martian surface below it,” and stressed that the object was seen by both the optical and the infrared (heat seeking) camera. So what could have been “interfering” with the photo-shoot of the Red Planet? According to many, this image is proof of extraterrestrial contact.

Just before Phobos 2 went “offline” the spacecraft returned to Earth some very strange images that have caused mixed opinions and a lot of chatter in the years to follow.

Until today no official explanation has been given to the strange images returned from Phobos 2. Boris Bolitsky, science correspondent for Radio Moscow described the images and the content as “Quite remarkable features”.

The last image the Spacecraft managed to return to earth (shown below). the images shows a huge object just under the moon Phobos. The object seen in the images is several kilometers in length approx 20 km. Strangely, the “thin ellipse” seen in the image above, is also approx 20 km in length according to scientists. Several explanations were given to the image.

Some claim that the object is nothing more than “camera artifacts” and “lens malfunction”. Others, such as Marina Popovich, a famous Soviet test pilot who has long been interested in UFO’s, claims this object to be a Unidentified Flying object of Alien origin.

After that last frame was radio-transmitted back to Earth, the probe mysteriously disappeared and according to many Russians, Phobos 2 was destroyed.

The cigar shaped craft in the penultimate frame taken by Phobos 2 is apparently the object casting the oblong shadow on the surface of Mars in the earlier photo.

Was Phobos 2 “shot down” because of these images? because the “little” spacecraft saw to much? Did Phobos 2 interfere with “someone” orbiting Mars? In his careful words to ‘Aviation Week and Space Technology’, the chairman of the Soviet equivalent of NASA, referred to the last frame, saying,

“One image appears to include an odd-shaped object between the spacecraft and Mars.”

UFO researchers say UFO sightings are increasing in the state of Queensland in Australia. Recent sightings have included photos and video.

UFO Research Queensland President Sheryl Gottschall told the Brisbane Times there has been a spike in reports over the last few months. She says, “We get about 100 calls a year and across Australia all up the UFO research groups get up to 800. That’s just the reported sightings – a lot go unreported.”

Another representative from the Queensland UFO group agrees. In a radio interview with 4BC, Tino Pezzimenti says, “Only about 5% of reports or sightings actually get reported, so you can imagine. We get a couple hundred a year. That’s only probably 5% of people that actually find their way to reporting something to us.”

Pezzimenti says many of these are not just reports of lights in the sky. Some of the sightings come with photos or video.

The hosts of 4BC said they had heard many sightings are due to a large local event called the Royal Queensland Show, aka Ekka (referred to as “the exhibition” in the radio show). The event is Queensland’s largest annual event, attracting hundreds of thousands of guest from around the world. It includes farm animal, food, and strength competitions, among other events, and takes place in early August.

Pezzimenti admitted that many UFO reports are misidentifications. He cited a recent sighting in mid-July in which the police suggested the mysterious lights were actually due to the testing of the fairground lights in preparation for Ekka.

However, Pezzimenti says their organization is not quick to call everything a UFO. He explains, “To be a UFO it’s got to have to do something unusual or look unusual like this photograph, or it does a 90 degree turn, or it flies off faster than any jet we have ever heard and there’s not even a sonic boom.”

The photograph Pezzimenti refers to is a sighting he is particularly excited about. The photo was allegedly taken on Friday, May 23, 2014 in the Wooloowin area at 5:35 pm. It shows what appears to be a strange disk-shaped object in the sky.

Pezzimenti says the object does not appear to have engines or propellers. He says this kind of photographic evidence needs to be taken “pretty seriously.”

The image was posted on a Facebook page called Brisbane UFO Sightings, which was created recently for the founder of the page to post pictures of UFOs. Apparently, he or she captures them often. Other than the date, time, and location of the sighting, no other information is provided.

The increase in sightings has lead to a local resident to begin holding skywatches. Kristy Buist, founder of the Paranormal Awareness Community, had her first skywatch scheduled for earlier this week.

Buist told the Brisbane Times she has had four sightings of her own. She described the first as, “platinum and sort of shaped like diamonds just casually floating across the sky”.

Now she says, “I do look for UFOs often. I look for them wherever I go.”

Brisbane Times says participants at the skywatch look for “‘unusual movement’ in the night sky, including ‘classic’ UFO moves such as bright lights travelling from one horizon to another in seconds or lights making sudden turns.”

Photos from the skywatch were posted on UFO Research Queensland’s Facebook page, but none of them include UFOs. However, as their Facebook page says, “Skywatching calls for a lot of patience and persistence.”

Both of which I am sure local researchers will continue to practice as they continue their quest for UFO evidence, which, incidentally, remains elusive despite the increased reports.

The Bermuda Triangle is well known, but rarely do you hear about the other Triangle where strange things are said to happen: The Devil’s Sea, sometimes known as the Dragon’s Triangle.

This Devil’s Sea is bounded by the south-coast of Japan, the northern tip of the Philippines and Guam. Boats have gone missing in this area and there is a history stretching back to ancient times.

When I was doing a little research on this I found that there is supposedly a striking coincidence between the Devil’s Sea and the more famous Bermuda Triangle.

The Bermuda Triangle includes, almost at its western terminus, longitude 80 degrees west, a line where true north and magnetic north become aligned with no variation in compass readings.

On the other side of the world the 80 degrees west longitude becomes 150 degrees east, passing east of Japan and crossing the centre of the Devil’s Sea (again true north and magnetic north become aligned). [Source: The Bryan Times Jan 7, 1974]

So what sort of recorded happenings is the Devil’s Sea known for?

In 1954 the Japanese government is reported to have sent out a research vessel, the Kaio Maru No. 5, to investigate the mysteries of the Devil’s Sea. The Kaio Maru No. 5, and its crew of 31 people, were never seen again.

According to Charles Berlitz’s book The Dragon’s Triangle in the 1950s Japan lost five military vessels and their crews, totalling over 700 people, within the area. It was officially declared a danger zone.

Going back further in time Kublai Khan found difficulties with his attempts to invade Japan. In 1281 a force of 100,000 sailed from China in 3,500 ships. The Chinese ships all disappeared and were never seen again

If we look at ancient legends they tell of how dragons lived off the coast of Japan. This is how it became known to some as the Dragon’s Triangle.

Some Ufologists also say there was an early close encounter of the third kind within the triangle. Wikipedia tells of the story:

“On February 22 in 1803, local fishers … in the Hitachi province saw an ominous ‘ship’ drifting in the waters. Curious, they towed the vessel back to land … The upper part had several windows made of glass or crystal, covered with bars … The windows were completely transparent and the baffled fishermen looked inside.

So very briefly, that is the Devil’s Sea or Dragon’s Triangle.

Duration: 10 minutes

Very large disk traveling east then north above the clouds, blocking out first a 3/4 moon and then stars as it traveled. The moon was blocked out to a sliver with a very sharp shape. As I observed the moon, thinking it was supposed to be about 3/4 from full, the disk began heading east with the clouds leaving the moon at its appropriate size. As the disk (guessing at about 1000 ft in diameter) traveled above the clouds, it was going slower than the clouds, but it’s shape was clearly visible through the clouds as a perfect disk and unlit. I realized what I was seeing was the shadow on the clouds from the moon. After about two minutes, it veered north and passed across some clear areas and appeared as a huge very black disk against a lighter sky and blocked out every star above it until it passed letting me once again see them. This took about 4-5 minutes, until it passed over a thick bodied cloud and was then gone from view.

Phil Schneider, supposedly one of three people who survived the 1979 Dulce firefight between the large Greys, US intelligence and military at the Dulce underground base, was found dead on January 1996, due to what was said to be an execution style murder. He was found dead in his apartment with a piano wire wrapped around his neck. According to some sources, it appeared that he repeatedly suffered torture before he was finally killed. You can read his story here - The Mysterious Life and Death of Philip Schneider. There have been numerous questions surrounding Schneider, in particular his motives and state of mind. Seven months prior to his death, he stated the following during a lecture:

"To give you an overview of basically what I am, I started off and went through engineering school. Half of my schooling was in that field and I built up a reputation for being a geological engineer, as well as a structural engineer with both military and aerospace applications. I have helped build two main bases in the United States that have some significance as far as what is called the New World Order. The first base is the one at Dulce, New Mexico."

"Back in 1954, under the Eisenhower administration, the federal government decided to circumvent the Constitution of the United States and form a treaty with alien entities. It was called the 1954 Greada Treaty, which basically made the agreement that the aliens involved could take a few cows and test their implanting techniques on a few human beings, but that they had to give details about the people involved. An insider's account of the treaty meeting is posted here - President Eisenhower's Close Encounter at Holloman AFB. Slowly, the aliens altered the bargain until they decided they wouldn't abide by it at all. Back in 1979, this was the reality, and the fire-fight at Dulce occurred quite by accident. I was involved in building an addition to the deep underground military base at Dulce, which is probably the deepest base. It goes down seven levels and over 2.5 miles deep. At that particular time, we had drilled four distinct holes in the desert, and we were going to link them together and blow out large sections at a time. My job was to go down the holes and check the rock samples, and recommend the explosive to deal with the particular rock. As I was headed down there, we found ourselves amidst a large cavern that was full of outer-space aliens, otherwise known as large Greys. I shot two of them. At that time, there were 30 people down there. About 40 more came down after this started, and all of them got killed. We had surprised a whole underground base of existing aliens. Later, we found out that they had been living on our planet for a long time, perhaps a million years. This could explain a lot of what is behind the theory of ancient astronauts."

What was the Dulce firefight, really? From information I have gathered, in 1979, a Grey was giving a lecture to an unknown determined number of scientists. During the lecture, a security officer came into the area with a sidearm on his belt. It was strictly forbidden to carry any weapons of any kind anywhere in the vicinity of the Greys. The security officer was instantly killed by the Grey. Other security personnel, witnessing what was happening in that room on the security cameras, came to retaliate. The Grey, according to the information, allegedly killed everybody. The manner in which the Grey killed these people has not been disclosed but was noted that the cause of deaths were 'head wounds'. The approximate number killed was just over 60 scientists and security.

Because of the nature of the sources, I believe the story to be essentially true though most of the information is third hand. It was, for the most part, an unfortunate accident and was classified as such.

Now...let's go beyond the firefight and look deeper into the alleged secret alien underground facility known as Dulce Base:

During the past few years, I have accorded some attention to several unexplained livestock attacks and cryptid sightings on the Dine Navajo lands in the Four Corners region...in particular, those areas in northwest New Mexico. Many of these attacks were, most likely, the result of Bigfoot-type hominids that are regularly seen in this area. Other attacks have a more bizarre angle, especially when the tracks of the perpetrator are of an unfamiliar genus and / or suddenly end in mid-stride as well as animal carcasses drained of blood and not fed upon.

The Archuleta Mesa area near Dulce, New Mexico has long been rumored to hold a joint government-alien biogenetic laboratory designed to carry out bizarre experiments on humans and animals. It has also been said that the lower levels of this underground system stretches between Dulce and Los Alamos some 90 miles to the south-east. Because of the proximity of these facilities to the Dine Navajo lands, is it possible that these attacks are of unknown experimental beings that have either escaped from the facility or have been released in order to be scientifically monitored?

It may seem to be a far-fetched hypothesis...unless, of course, you are the victim of the attacks and have no idea of what you're dealing with. The following narratives may temper your resolve or offer some curiosity to the question.

In March 2011 I received the following email:

Lon, I read the letter you posted recently about the Dulce Labs genetics experiments and wanted to share my experiences with your readers. When I was an undergraduate studying genetics in the mid-1970s, I did a 10-month internship at Dulce Labs. My primary duties were on level 1, that is where I spent almost all of my time. But once a week I accompanied one of the junior researchers to levels 5, 6, and 7 to collect data tapes and other documentation. I never got past the "clear zone" on those levels, but on a couple occasions I heard inhuman shrieks and wailing noises on level 6. I was told that level 6 was a psychiatric facility for especially disturbed patients, and that they were known to have emotional outbursts.

On one occasion while we were waiting for someone to bring out the tapes, I heard part of a message come through the intercom, and the words are burned into my memory.

VOICE 1: "CELL 34 COMPROMISED, ENTITY HAS BREACHED CONTAINMENT"

After a pause a second voice came over the speaker:

VOICE 2: "AVAILABLE PERSONAL REPORT TO THE BLUE ZONE FOR C&C. MAXIMUM FORCE AUTHORIZED."

The guard at the desk told me and my colleague that we had to leave immediately, we were rushed back into the elevator before the materials were delivered to us. It was two days before they let us go pick up the tapes, and when we went that time, everything was normal. Nobody ever talked about it. I tried to ask my colleague, the junior researcher who was there at the time, about it, but he said he didn't know what I was talking about, and something in his tone told me I'd better forget about it too.

After I graduated I was interested in returning to Dulce because I was really excited about the potential for genetic science, and Dulce had some very advanced equipment and knowledge - better than anything being used anywhere else. But I was told that there weren't any openings. I wondered if I was being blown off because of my curiosity about that event, if I was considered a risk. I tried contacting the junior researcher, but never got a response from him. - MP

The above anecdote was in response to the following email which I had previously posted:

Sir, first off, if you want the full story let me know. But this will explain how Mothman came about. U.S. Energy Secretary John Herrington named the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory and New Mexico's Los Alamos National Laboratory to house advanced genetic research centers as part of a project to decipher the human genome. The genome holds the genetically coded instructions that guide the transformation of a single cell, a fertilized egg, into a biological organism.

"The Human Genome Project may well have the greatest direct impact on humanity of any scientific initiative before us today", said David Shirley, Director of the Berkeley Laboratory. Covertly, this research has been going on for years at the Dulce bio-genetics labs. Level 6 is hauntingly known by employees as "Nightmare Hall". It holds the genetic labs at Dulce. Reports from workers who have seen bizarre experimentation, are as follows:

"I have seen multi-legged 'humans' that look like half-human/half-octopus. Also reptilian-humans, and furry creatures that have hands like humans and cries like a baby, it mimics human words... also huge mixture of lizard-humans in cages. There are fish, seals, birds and mice that can barely be considered those species. There are several cages (and vats) of winged-humanoids, grotesque bat-like creatures...but 3 1/2 to 7 feet tall. Gargoyle-like beings and Draco-Reptoids."

"Level 7 is worse, row after row of thousands of humans and human mixtures in cold storage. Here too are embryo storage vats of humanoids in various stages of development. I frequently encountered humans in cages, usually dazed or drugged, but sometimes they cried and begged for help. We were told they were hopelessly insane, and involved in high risk drug tests to cure insanity. We were told to never try to speak to them at all. At the beginning we believed that story. Finally in 1978 a small group of workers discovered the truth. It began the Dulce Wars".

When the truth was evident that humans were being produced from abducted females, impregnated against their will, a secret resistance group formed. This did little though. Over time they were assassinated or "died under mysterious circumstances".

The witness also supplied the following information:

An underground Military Base/Laboratory in Dulce, New Mexico connects with the underground network of tunnels which honeycombs our planet, and the lower levels of this base are allegedly under the control of Inner Earth beings or Aliens. This base is connected to Los Alamos research facilities via an underground "tube-shuttle." (It can be assumed that such a shuttle way would be a straight-line construction. It should then be possible, by using maps and some deduction, to determine the most likely location of this base, especially since the general location is already known.) Beginning in 1947, a road was built near the Dulce Base, under the cover of a lumber company. No lumber was ever hauled, and the road was later destroyed. Navajo Dam is the Dulce Base's main source of power, though a second source is in El Vado (which is also another entrance). Most of the lakes near Dulce were made via government grants "for" the Indians.

Dulce Base - The Central Hub

-1st Level - contains the garage for Street Maintenance.

-2nd Level- contains the garage for trains, shuttles, tunnel-boring machines and UFO maintenance.

-3rd Level - the first 3 levels contain government offices.

-4th Level - Human Aura Research as well as aspects of Dream Manipulation, Hypnosis, and Telepathy. They can lower your heartbeat with Delta Waves and introduce data and programmed reactions into your mind (for those implanted with brain chips). Most people already are, they just don't know it.

-5th Level - witnesses have described huge vats with amber liquid with parts of human bodies being stirred inside. Rows and rows of cages holding men, women and children to be used as food. Perhaps thousands.

-6th Level - privately called "Nightmare Hall." It contains the genetic labs. Here are where the crossbreeding experiments of human/animal are done on fish, seals, birds, and mice that are vastly altered from their original forms. There are multi-armed and multi-legged humans and several cages and vats of humanoid bat-like creatures up to 7 feet tall.

-7th Level - Row after row of 1,000s of humans in cold storage including children.

It is alleged that Los Alamos and the mountainous regions east and southeast of it in and around the Santa Fe National Forest are the major holding area of earth based extraterrestrial (interterrestrial) beings in North America, although there are a number of smaller habitation locations scattered throughout the underground networks between Dulce and Area 51. 'Dulce Base' is said to hold the second largest repository of extraterrestrials and equipment in North America. None of this information takes into account what resources other nations and governments possess. All the evidence I have received is anecdotal but, in my opinion, the sources are reliable. Archuleta Mesa

In May 2010, through the MUFON CMS, a Jicarilla Apache tribal police officer recalled an alien encounter he had in Dulce, New Mexico (unedited):

Mid 80's Dulce, NM my self a law enforcement officer w/Jicarilla Apache Police. Background Police Science/Forensic Western NM Univ., Silver City. Had gone to graveyard shift at midnight w/ another officer and dispatcher. Immediately went to a single females home with the other shift and was informed that a small being was in her house at the foot of the bed with a box shining a laser like red light at her, the other officers knowing it was there shift change left without further investigation. Making fun mind you. She was obviously shaken up and I did notice some electrical malfunctions within her home and her animals, dogs and horses were uneasy. Throughout the night I continued to check on her, once in the early morning I was called to her home, her house was dark and as I entered I could hear her down the hall crying for help. I was informed again of visitors with a light in her home and it seemed strangely quiet. No one to be found in the home or area. In the early morning when the sun comes up when their is light I drove up to the home to make a check I noticed some movement in the brush and trees just west of her home about 15 yards away. I still don't understand what I may have saw, but soon after as I was stepping out of my unit three oval craft in a triangular pattern about the size of a three bedroom home lifted off from behind some juniper trees just 30 yards at the most taking off silently without noise/down drafts, then turn a bright white light and slow went in the direction east towards Chama, NM slowly gain altitude. My other Officer and Dispatcher was witness to this also. Shortly after I heard on the State Police Frequency from Chama about those UFO.s that were being called in to them. I felt completely helpless as a Officer to help someone who asked for help and was unable to assist and protect her in her time of need. It still bothers me today. S/GJ. These researchers are the most prolific original sources to the activity at the Dulce Underground Military Base/Laboratory:

Paul Bennewitz

Paul Bennewitz, a physicist in Albuquerque and a UFO researcher affiliated with APRO (Aerial Phenomena Research Organization), traveled to Dulce in 1977 to investigate reports of cattle being mutilated on the ranch of Edmound Gomez. He became friends with the local law enforcement official in the area of the Jicarilla Indian Reservation, Gabe Valdez, and the two investigated the mutilations and also some mysterious lights reportedly seen over Archuleta Mesa. Two gentlemen named Howard Burgess and John F. Gille (Jean Francois Gille), also seem to have been involved in these investigations.

Bennewitz along with Dr. Leo Sprinkle then studied the case of Myrna Hansen who said under hypnosis that she had been abducted by the aliens and taken to a secret underground base where they saw the cattle being mutilated and drained of their blood and vats containing human body parts. Implants were placed in the bodies of her and her son and that the aliens could control their minds through these devices.

Bennewitz began filming the strange lights he was seeing over Manzano. He also built a complex electronic surveillance equipment network to receive low-frequency electromagnetic transmissions that he believed came from the alien craft. Bennewitz had several contacts with Air Force Officials that he tried to warn about the threat represented by aliens against the Manzano Weapons Storage Area.

The year after, Bennewitz wrote a computer program that he claimed could translate the alien radio transmissions. He now came to believe that he was intercepting the messages that the aliens were transmitting to mind-control devices such as those that Myrna Hansen claimed had been placed in her and her son.

During this period, 1980 to 1987, Bennewitz was visited by many other UFO researchers, including John Lear and Linda Moulton Howe. In 1987, another abductee named Christa Tilton, added to the tales of underground bases and aliens and vats with human body parts in them.

Bennewitz told Thomas Moore, the famous ufologist, that the alien transmissions he had received indicated that the grays, who he said were responsible for cattle mutilations and the abductions of humans, were building a secret underground base beneath Archuleta Peak on the Jicarillo Indian Reservation near Dulce, New Mexico with the help of the US Government.

When he said in a final burst of paranoia that aliens were coming through the wall of his house to inject him chemicals, it was time to send him to the Hospital. The story says that he has recovered but refuse to deal with the subject of UFOs.

Thomas Edwin Castello

Thomas Edwin Castello claimed to be a former security technician, employed by the Rand Corporation, at the Dulce underground facility. However, Castello has only provided stories, nothing solid, and has yet to come forward in person. There is some doubt as to whether he actually exists. He allegedly stole a set of controversial papers called the "Dulce Papers," along with over 30 black and white photos and a video tape.

Castello reported that the Dows [Greys], the Dracos [Reptiloids], and the Ciakars are working there hand in hand with over 18,000 short "greys" living the Dulce Facility. A colleague had come face-to-face with a 6-foot tall Reptoid which had materialized in his house. The Reptoid showed an interest in research maps of New Mexico and Colorado which were on the wall. The maps were full of colored push-pins and markers to indicate sites of animal mutilations, caverns, locations of high UFO activity, repeated flight paths, abduction sites, ancient ruins, and suspected alien underground bases.

The multi-level facility at Dulce is reported to have a central HUB which is controlled by base security. The security level goes up as one descends to lower levels. Thomas had an ULTRA-7 clearance. He knew of seven sub-levels, but there may have been more. Most of the aliens supposedly are on levels 5, 6 and 7 with alien housing on level 5. The only sign in English was over the tube shuttle station hallway which read "to Los Alamos."

There appears to be a vast network of tube shuttle connections under the U.S. which extends into a global system of tunnels and sub-cities.Connections go from Dulce to the Page, Arizona facility, then onto an underground base below Area 51 in Nevada. Tube shuttles go to and from Dulce to facilities below Taos, N.M.; Datil, N.M.; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Creed, Colorado; Sandia' then on to Carlsbad, New Mexico.

At the Dulce Base, most signs on doors and hallways are in the alien symbol language and a universal symbol system understood by humans and aliens. Thomas stated that after the second level, everyone is weighed in the nude, then given a uniform. Visitors are given off-white uniforms; jump suits with a zipper. The weight of the person is put on a computer I.D. card each day. Any change in weight is noted; if over three pounds, a physical exam and X-ray is required.

Scales are located in front of all sensitive areas and are built into the floor near doorways and the door control panels. An individual places his computer I.D. card into the door slot, then enters a numerical code onto a keypad. The person's weight and code must match the card or the door will not open. Any discrepancy will summon security. No one is allowed to carry anything into sensitive areas. All supplies are put on a conveyor belt and X-rayed. The same method is used in leaving sensitive areas.

All elevators are controlled magnetically; there are no elevator cables. The magnetic system is inside the walls of the elevator shaft, there are no normal electrical controls. Everything is controlled by advanced magnetics, including lighting. There are no regular light bulbs and the tunnels are illuminated by phosphorous units with broad structureless emission bands. Some deep tunnels use a form of phosphorous pentoxide to temporarily illuminate areas. The aliens won't go near these areas for reasons unknown.

Level 1 contains the garage for street maintenance. Level 2 contains the garage for trains, shuttles, tunnel-boring machines and disc maintenance. The studies on Level 4 include human-aura research, as well as all aspects of telepathy, hypnosis, and dreams. Thomas says that they know how to separate the bioplasmic body from the physical body to place an "alien entity" life-force-matrix within a human body after removing the "soul" lifeforce-matrix of the human.

At Level 7, Thomas encountered humans in cages. Row after row of thousands of humans, human-mixture remains, and embryos of humanoids were kept in cold storage. The Grey and reptoid species are highly analytical and technologically oriented. They have had ancient conflicts with the Nordic humans from other space societies, and may be staging here for a future conflict. Intensely into computing and bio- engineering sciences, they are led to doing reckless experiments without regard for what we consider to be ethical and empathetic conduct toward other living creatures.

Principal government organizations involved in mapping human genetics, the so-called genome projects, are within the Department of Energy (which has a heavy presence on the Nevada Test Site); the National Institute of Health; the National Science Foundation; the Howard Huges Medical Institute; and, of course, the Dulce Underground Labs which are run by the DOE. Thomas had revealed that the chief of the genetic experiments for Los Alamos and Dulce is Larry Deaven.

According to Thomas, the alien androgynal breeder is capable of parthenogenesis. At Dulce, the common form or reproduction is by polyembryony. Each embryo can, and does divide into 6 to 9 individual "cunne" (pronounced cooney, i.e. siblings). The needed nutriment for the developing cunne is supplied by the "formula," which usually consist of plasma, deoxyhemoglobin, albumin, lysozyme, cation, amniotic fluid and more. The term "genome" is used to describe the totality of the chromosomes unique to a particular organism (or any cell within an organism), as distinct from the genotype, which is the information contained within those chromosomes. The human genes are mapped to specific chromosomal locations. This is an ambitious project that will take years and a lot of computer power to accomplish.

Thomas also says the aliens don't want the land, the gold, the minerals, or water that we possess, nor even the human or animal life. What they do want is magnetic power that surges on and through the Earth. The aliens harvest this magic power in a way unknown to us. Thomas says the aliens recognize this power as more valuable than any other commodity on our globe.

'Roswell Alien' Photo Likely a Baby Mummy

Earlier this week at a UFO conference in Mexico City two photographs claimed to have been found in a trunk in Sedona, Ariz., and depicting an alien body that crashed in Roswell in 1947 were revealed. It has created quite a buzz among UFO believers and others, but there are good reasons to question the claim.

According to the Daily Mirror, the photos “were found by former journalist Adam Dew, who has taken steps to verify the pair of alien snaps and said Kodak experts had dated the film to 1947….The photos were supposedly found in Arizona, hidden in a collection of snaps owned by oil geologist Bernard Ray and his wife Hilda Ray, who have both died.”

Assuming that a representative from Kodak authenticated the film as old stock dating back to the 1940s doesn’t mean that Kodak “authenticated” the subject of the photo; all it means is that it’s a genuine old photo, and not, for example, on film produced in the 1980s. She describes it as being like a floating cigarette. It hovered away behind some hills and they lost sight of it. The second encounter was at night when supposedly my sisters friend and his younger brother (who are also her neighbors) heard some strange screams outside their house. You really cant see anything back there at night. There is nothing but hills and mountains behind those houses.

Anyways they went out with a pellet gun and a flashlight to check out what the noises were? then suddenly they encountered what they describe as being two huge bigfoot type creatures standing in front of them but at a near distance. Supposedly they shot at them with the pellet gun but they say the creatures didn't even flinch. So they ran back scared to their house. After that he went directly with my sister to tell her the story. Thats all I know. I trust my sister and she wouldnt make up a story like this. Man Claims Three Women Drugged and Raped Him...Then Bagged Up His Semen

A 33-year-old South Africa man says three women forced him into a car at gunpoint Tuesday, then made him drink an unknown, erection-inducing drug and raped him. They allegedly collected his semen in plastic bags, which they stored in a cooler. When they’d taken what they wanted, he says, they abandoned him in a field near Port Elizabeth and drove away.

“They pointed at him with a firearm directly, a shotgun,” said constable Mncedi Mbombo, according to the Toronto Star, “They gave him something to drink, then they left him after they got the sperm.”

Mbombo thinks the women are part of a semen-harvesting cartel, which sounds pretty unbelievable, but might be a real thing. According to the Star’s South Africa correspondent, Stephanie Findlay, “local news organizations have reported women at the Zimbabwe border selling semen to sangomas, traditional healers who then use the substance in their popular rituals.”

Findlay adds that rape is an epidemic in the country, with 25 percent of men in a 2009 study saying they’ve committed rape, and half of those saying they’ve done it more than once. There have also been male victims, with two other reports this year of groups of women kidnapping and sexually assaulting men.

Reporters for local paper The Herald, who tried to interview the alleged victim at the police station in New Brighton, claimed that officers “ridiculed” the man with “mockery and laughter” as he tried to file his complaint. Furry Trout? Not Likely....

One fisherman got more than he bargained for when he hooked a trout while fishing near Milwaukee.

It had been an otherwise unremarkable day out fishing along the Menomonee River when George Bower, who had been catching trout that were packed in to a bottleneck, reeled in one particularly bizarre specimen that appeared to be covered in white fur.

The catch seemed to match the local legend of the infamous 'fur-bearing trout', a fictional creature that was said to have developed a thick coat of fur all over its body to maintain heat.

The myth of this peculiar animal was particularly prevalent all the way up to the 1930s thanks to a spate of hoaxed specimens such as that produced by taxidermist Ross C. Jobe which turned out to be nothing more than a regular fish with a coat of rabbit fur attached to its body.

What exactly it is that Bower caught on his line in Wisconsin however remains unclear.

While it is obviously not the fabled fur-bearing trout from the legend, some believe that the fish he reeled in may have been suffering from what is thought to be an extreme case of cotton mold, a condition that can produce a white furry appearance.

Critics on the other hand argue that the amount of mold coverage is far too excessive to have occurred naturally and that the photograph is likely to be a hoax.

"I contacted a local wildlife official and they referred to it as a rare fur-bearing trout," Bower told us in an e-mail. "They went on to explain that this was an extreme case of Saprolegnia, or cotton mold."

Sasquatch Draws Curious Crowds at World Taxidermy Championship

Crowds have been gathering for a curious sight this week at the World Taxidermy and Fish Carving Competition in Springfield, Missouri. Standing over six feet tall and covered in thick fur, the lifelike replica of Sasquatch was created by taxidermist Ken Walker. Walker is a veteran champion of the competition’s Re-Creations category, which is for mounts created using parts that are not from the species being portrayed.

For his female sasquatch, Walker carved the body from hard foam, and then used the hide of a Scottish Highland cow for the skin and fur.

So why did a master taxidermist decide to craft such a controversial creature? In his article, journalist Wes Johnson writes:

Used Casket Left on Street in Brooklyn

A couple called 911 on Wednesday morning with a strange report. They had found an old and dusty casket on Pilling Street in Bushwick when they were trying to park their car.

The NYPD's 83rd Precinct searched Evergreen Cemetery, right near where the casket, covered in old, dried mud, had been found, and found no disturbed graves. PIX11 reached out to another cemetery nearby, Trinity, which also said that no graves had been disturbed on the premises. Officers tweeted out a photo of the casket yesterday, saying that "nobody knows" who did it, but they do know that it was definitely "not cool."

Inside the dilapidated coffin, which was determined to be around 25 years old, were a few human bones and some trash. What It's Really Like...to Live with Morgellons Disease

According to a press release from the Charles E. Holman Foundation for Morgellons Disease, Morgellons is a multi-system infectious disease that presents itself in the form of severe fatigue, forgetfulness, memory loss and fibers in the skin that cause lesions.

Famed singer and songwriter Joni Mitchell, who is currently in the hospital, has stated in the past that she has struggled with the disease. "I have this weird, incurable disease that seems like it's from outer space," she told the Los Angeles Times. "Fibers in a variety of colors protrude out of my skin like mushrooms after a rainstorm: They cannot be forensically identified as animal, vegetable or mineral." The disease has long confused the medical community.

Her health scare has thrust Morgellons disease back into the spotlight. Michael Jackson fans are fond of saying his spirit lives on, but in some cases this is interpreted on a much deeper level. Although some see paranormal experiences as questionable, Michael Jackson’s own brother is convinced that he has had an experience of an otherworldly nature — and it involved Michael Jackson. Interestingly, this is not the first time Michael Jackson’s ghostly presence has been recorded.

Lately, the world has been enjoying seeing Michael Jackson honored in the form of a Moonwalking protester in Baltimore. However, the big news in England is that Tito Jackson has been in touch with Michael Jackson’s ghost.

In a May 1 interview with the Mirror U.K., they say Tito Jackson told them, “Michael Jackson’s spirit regularly visits his family – especially when they perform.”

Adding to that, Tito also says he looks to the spirit of Michael Jackson in times of trouble and stated, “I have had times when I silently talk to him. I’ll ask him a question. ‘What should I do?'”

Tito Jackson goes on to say about Michael Jackson, “All the time I feel his spirit, especially when I’m performing with the brothers on stage at a live performance. You can feel the spirit all the time, absolutely. It’s a happy feeling because Michael was a warm, happy, loving person. It’s a comforting feeling.”

Tito Jackson’s experience with Michael Jackson’s ghost is not the first time that the spirit of the King of Pop has been felt — or seen. In May 2014, a fan caught an image of Michael Jackson’s ghost above the head of a Michael Jackson impersonator.

The Daily Mail U.K. stated, “Reece Savva, 14, from Bromley, Kent, took three snaps of the Jackson tribute act as he waited in line for a signature. But when he got home and looked at the pictures he noticed what appears – sort of, if you squint – to be the ghost of the late entertainer hovering above his impersonator’s head in one of the frames.”

In 2013, the Cirque de Soleil also stated that they saw Michael Jackson’s ghost. They told the Mirror U.K. that the theater where they performed was haunted by Michael Jackson — and that makes a lot of sense, considering it is the Las Vegas Michael Jackson Theater. The theater show, ONE, was an attempt to bring fans closer to the departed Michael Jackson — and it worked!

The Mirror U.K. states that a director said, “His presence is definitely here.You close your eyes and he’s in the room. Hopefully he will be sitting here saying that is great.”

Another creator of the Michael Jackson ONE show said, “I have sensed from the very beginning at Michael has been with me all along. I am not just the story creator and director, but that I am the co director with Michael.”

The Michael Jackson ONE Director of Creation, Welby Altidor states that you should be careful what you call paranormal examples of Michael and says, “We never refer to Michael as a ghost. We refer to him as a presence.”

As far as personal accounts of Michael Jackson’s ghost go, the one with the most weight involved a lawsuit between AEG Live and the estate of Michael Jackson. During that time, testimony of Brenda Richie, ex-wife of Lionel Richie, was used. Brenda Richie claimed that Michael Jackson has visited her several times after his death.

In 2013, NME reported, “Randy Phillips, CEO of AEG Live, testified about talks had with the ghost of Jackson. Phillips said his friend Brenda Richie spoke to a medium or contacted Michael Jackson’s spirit herself. The ghost of the singer, who died in 2009, apparently said he ‘accidentally killed himself’.”

In other words, if you ever see or feel Michael Jackson’s presence, be careful what you say, because your words could be used in a court of law!

For those interested in seeing if Michael Jackson’s ghost appears around his family, the good news is that many of them perform year-round. This ‘placard’ is not very evident in the video grab image. However, it has been enlarged by experts and the writing, in red ink, is handwritten, not typed, as would be found in a biological display in a museum.

Tom Carey was interviewed about the Roswell Slides on the March 22, 2015 episode of Jaime Maussan’s Contacto on Tercer Milenio TV. Carey said that experts have been able to read some words on the placard on the case and that, “debunkers will be disappointed.”

During BeWitness, it was announced that despite the work of a number of experts, the placard could absolutely not be read.

The slide with the placard was visible, and the writing was evident, if unclear.

He was right, and most of the placard has now been read.

A member of The Roswell Slides Research Team used a newly acquired source image of the placard seen in front of the body. By manipulating the commercial software, SmartDeblur, he managed to significantly clear up the blurred text. Other members offered suggestions and helped narrow down the actual words.

The first line was the most clearly resolved:

MUMMIFIED BODY OF TWO YEAR OLD BOY

There is little doubt that this is the true and correct text.

The other 3 lines of the text are somewhat hard to read, some words more than others.

It seems to say something like:

MUMMIFIED BODY OF TWO YEAR OLD BOY

At the time of burial the body was clothed in a xxx-xxx cotton

shirt. Burial wrappings consisted of these small cotton blankets.

The entire effort only took hours, quite a difference from the claimed “years” of research that the Maussan camp claimed. Because the Slide hucksters haven’t released proper high resolution scans of the slides, our work was made more difficult. We could probably get clearer results from better images.

The mystery of the placard is solved, and so is the nature of the body in the case.

In een nieuwe video van de Paranormal Crucible wordt beweerd dat het wezen door de schilder is verborgen in een soort buitenaardse lijkwade van Turijn. “Veel theologen geloven dat Leonardo Da Vinci bewust geheime codes en subliminale boodschappen in zijn werken heeft verborgen,” klinkt het.

“Als dit waar is, kunnen we aannemen dat de Mona Lisa is gemaakt om belangrijke historische en religieuze feiten over de buitenaardse aanwezigheid en diens betrokkenheid bij de Rooms-katholieke Kerk te verbergen,” gaat de site verder.

Je zou onder meer gezichtskenmerken, een hoofdtooi, gewaad en de handen van de ‘hogepriester’ kunnen zien. Er wordt niet gezegd waarom de afbeelding in het schilderij verborgen zou zijn. Om het verborgen beeld zichtbaar te maken werden de kleuren van het kunstwerk op de computer bewerkt.

Sommigen zijn van mening dat Leonardo da Vinci zelf een alien was. Het is niet voor het eerst dat wordt gesuggereerd dat er verborgen codes en afbeeldingen in het schilderij verborgen zitten. In 2010 zeiden kunsthistorici dat ze kleine getallen en letters in de ogen van de geheimzinnige Mona Lisa hadden gevonden die mogelijk een code vormen.

Leden van het Italiaanse Comité voor Cultureel Erfgoed maakten bekend dat er lettertjes en cijfertjes tevoorschijn komen wanneer men hoge-resolutiebeelden van Mona Lisa’s ogen vergroot. “Met het blote oog kun je deze symbolen niet waarnemen, maar met een vergrootglas zijn ze er onmiskenbaar,” zei de voorzitter van het comité.

“De opwarming van de aarde is een illusie,” schrijft Maurice Newman, voorzitter van de economische adviesraad van Abbott, in een opiniestuk dat door de krant The Australian werd gepubliceerd. “Het is een goed bewaard geheim, maar 95 procent van de klimaatmodellen die een verband tussen de CO2-uitstoot en de opwarming van de aarde moeten aantonen blijkt na twee decennia van stabiele temperaturen verkeerd te zijn.”

“Extreme weersomstandigheden werden gelinkt aan de opwarming van de aarde, maar dat houdt geen stand meer, aangezien hun frequentie en intensiteit afneemt,” beweert Newman. Hij beschuldigt de VN ervan het thema klimaatverandering te gebruiken om democratie opzij te schuiven ten voordele van communisme.

Newman publiceerde zijn stuk op het moment dat VN-klimaatonderhandelaar Christiana Figueres een bezoek aan Australië brengt. Vanwege de steenkoolindustrie is Australië het land met de grootste CO2-uitstoot ter wereld. De Australische minister van Milieu Greg Hunt heeft zich gedistantieerd van de uitlatingen van Newman.

A new book claims that all presidents since the war, have known about alien visits to Earth. When U.S. President Reagan said he had met extraterrestrials, most Americans assumed he was kidding. President Barack Obama said in March 2012 landing at Roswell, New Mexico that “I come in peace.” The site is famous for the alleged alien spaceship crash landing.

When asked about the recovered extraterrestrial bodies from the wreckage, he said, “If I told you I would have to kill you… we’re going to keep our secrets here.”

A new book “The Presidents and UFOs: A Secret History From FDR to Obama” (Amazon link) claims that US presidents, from Roosevelt to Obama, have known of evidence regarding extraterrestrial visitation on Earth, leaving spaceship debris, alien corpse, and resulting in thousands of UFO sightings.

Recently, a leaked memo written by US Army chief of staff general Gorge C Marshall to President D Roosevelt in March 1942 reveals that “Headquarters has come to the determination that the mystery airplanes are in fact not earthly and according to secret intelligence sources that are in all probability of interplanetary origin.”

In a reply, President Roosevelt urged the “finding of practical uses for the atomic secrets learned from the study of celestial devices.”

In another memo from Roosevelt, he wrote, “coming to grips with the reality that our planet isn’t the only one harboring intelligent life in the universe.” He continued “We’ll take every advantage of such wonders that have come to us.”

The authenticity of the memos has been fiercely debated. These memos are just part of multiple pieces of evidence uncovered by Larry Holcombe in his new book.

Holcombe, 71, stresses that UFOs exist, and alien life has visited Earth. He explained that evidence is enormous that no reasonable person can deny the existence of extraterrestrials.

Actresses Lucille Ball and Shirley MacLaine, who were in a party together with actor Reagan, claimed Reagan told them that a UFO initially blocked his road to the party. An alien eventually came up and told Reagan to leave acting and go into politics.

President Harry S Truman had allegedly formed the Majestic 12 in 1942, a committee of scientists and military who secretly cover up extraterrestrial activities.

Late in the Second World War Dwight D Eisenhower supposedly met with Winston Churchill to discuss a close encounter of RAF reconnaissance aircraft with a UFO near the English coastline.

President John F Kennedy demanded to hand him over the CIA’s secret files. President Bill Clinton has once said that he attempted to get UFO information that was withheld from him. President Richard Nixon reportedly authorized a UFO documentary to use secret video of an alien craft landing but was stopped by intelligence chiefs.

Given the controversial events that went down in Mexico just a few days ago, an important question needs to be asked: are we getting any closer to the truth of the Roswell Slides and what they show or don’t show? Well…maybe. Consider the following points, and consider them very carefully. You may think that I’m onto something or you may not. But, at least, be open-minded and check it out.

The Roswell Slides probably originated with Bernerd and Hilda Ray, who lived in Midland, Texas. Hilda was an attorney, while Bernerd was a geologist who had undeniable, provable links to the state of New Mexico (the site of the controversial Roswell affair of July 1947, of course).

Carlsbad Caverns National Park

Geologists spend a lot of their time in caves, mines, and caverns. New Mexico is the state in which the famous Carlsbad Caverns National Park is located. Only a handful of miles from the Carlsbad Caverns is White’s City, the origins of which date back to the latter part of the 1920s. Up until a few years ago White’s City, New Mexico, was home to something called the Million Dollar Museum.

Although now closed, the Million Dollar Museum (which “existed early in White’s City’s history”) was the site of numerous oddities, including child-mummies, and various human and animal curios. The Million Dollar Museum even has a story attached to it of nothing less than…a dead alien (which was clearly a child, by the way, and not an E.T.). Check out this link for the story of the alien.

The label on the “non-alien body” reads: “No one is sure exactly when the museum acquired this artifact, but it does not appear to be human.” Like the Roswell Slides, many of the displays at the Million Dollar Museum had small placards that were hand-written. Sounds familiar??? (see this link).

Rather notably, the museum also held a number of preserved animal heads, including the head of the twelfth largest moose ever shot in Wyoming. As you may have seen in my previous article on the Roswell Slides, right behind the alleged alien body in the Roswell Slides is…the hair-covered head of an animal. Maybe not a moose, but I know you get my point.

Now, it’s very important to note that the so-called Roswell Slides do not show the same alleged alien body as that which is discussed in the YouTube link above. But, that scarcely matters, since the museum held dozens of mummies. So, with that in mind, consider what you are about to read as a potential scenario:

Bernerd and Hilda Ray

Decades ago, Bernerd and Hilda Ray visited the Carlsbad Caverns, specifically because of Bernerd’s work as a geologist, a person who spends significant time in caves and caverns. Before they headed home, the pair stopped off at the very nearby Million Dollar Museum in White’s City – where they photographed a few odd-looking items on display, including one of those child-mummies, and which showed one of the preserved animal heads directly behind it.

And, lo and behold, the whole thing – in a weird and strange fashion – has become part and parcel of the Roswell “crashed UFO” affair. Plus, the distance from Midland, Texas (where Bernerd and Hilda Ray lived) to the Million Dollar Museum in White’s City, New Mexico is only 163 miles.

Sure, this is simply a working hypothesis on my part. But the location (New Mexico), the issue of the Carlsbad Caves, Bernerd Ray’s links to the matter of caves, and the fact that just a few, short miles from the Carlsbad Caves stood a museum filled with certain things of a freak-show nature (including child-mummies and the heads of animals, no less – and which had hand-written, descriptive notes attached to them, too), should – at the absolute very least – encourage us to investigate this matter further. In fact, much further.

My recommendation: a deep search for any and all old photographs of the interior of the Million Dollar Museum in its early years. The town of White’s City was founded in the 1920s, by a man named Charlie White. He lectured in the museum, nearly every Friday night, until his death in 1962. Someone, somewhere, may have a few photos taken during those lectures. Just maybe, there is light at the end of the tunnel, finally, on the matter of the Roswell slides.

Harvard Scientists Say That There May Be An Ancient Earth Inside Earth

A team of Harvard scientists may have found an indication that a portion of an ancient Earth exists inside our planet’s mantle.

A study presented at the Goldschmidt conference in Sacramento, California, claims that the previously inexplicable isotope ratio from the depths of the Earth may be an “echo” of the ancient Earth that existed before the collision with another celestial body, which is estimated to have led to the formation of the Moon 4.5 billion years ago.

According to the authors of the study, the ratio may represent a signal from a material that existed prior to the moment of the collision.

Scientists of the Harvard University led by Associate Professor Sujoy Mukhopadhyay believe that only a portion of the Earth melted as a result of the collision, and that in the depths of our planet’s mantle there still exists a part of the ancient Earth.

Scientists have studied the isotope ratio of noble gases from the depths of the Earth’s mantle and compared it to the isotope ratio of the gases found closer to the surface. They found that the ratio of 3He to 22Ne from the surface layers of the mantle is much higher than the one of its deeper layers.

The analysis of the 129-Xenon and 130-Xenon ratio also confirms the hypothesis suggested by the researchers. Material which has been rendered to the surface from the deep mantle has a lower ratio than the one which is typically located near the surface.

Since the 129-Xenon is produced by the radioactive decay of 129-Iodine, these isotopes indicate that the ancient part of mantle was formed during the first 100 million years of the Earth’s evolution.

Scientists believe that this theory explains the differences between the isotope ratios of noble gases in different parts of the Earth.

As Professor Mukhopadhyay said: “The geochemistry indicates that there are differences between the noble gas isotope ratios in different parts of the Earth, and these need to be explained. The idea that a very disruptive collision of the Earth with another planet-sized body, the biggest event in Earth’s geological history, did not completely melt and homogenize the Earth challenges some of our notions on planet formation and the energetics of giant impacts. If the theory is proven correct, then we may be seeing echoes of the ancient Earth, from a time before the collision“.

Astronomers have spotted a dead star polluted with heavy elements, suggesting that the star recently chowed down on a water-laced asteroid.

The destructive process hints at how asteroids probably delivered water to Earth billions of years ago. But it also hints at how asteroids likely deliver water to exoplanets in other planetary systems.

"Our research has found that, rather than being unique, water-rich asteroids similar to those found in our solar system appear to be frequent," lead researcher Roberto Raddi from the University of Warwick, said in a statement. "Accordingly, many planets may have contained a volume of water, comparable to that contained in the Earth."

Astronomers once thought that white dwarfs — the Earth-size remnants of low-mass stars like our sun — were pristine. Their intense gravity should pull the heaviest elements down into their depths relatively quickly (thousands of years at most). "In old white dwarfs (hundreds of millions of years old), like the one we observed, one would not expect any heavy element to stay in their atmospheres for long," Raddi told Space.com in an email.

But when the team observed the white dwarf in question (known as SDSS J1242+5226), they saw that it was smothered in oxygen, magnesium, silicon, iron and other heavy elements. Even hydrogen was far more abundant than expected. These elements match what astronomers expect to see in a water-rich asteroid.

It’s likely that the asteroid passed close to the white dwarf, whose intense gravity shredded it into smaller particles. These particles then formed a disk around the dead star, and slowly rained down over time — polluting the star's surface with its elements. Because those elements are still expected to sink to the center of the star, the destructive event probably happened fairly recently, Raddi said.

The astronomers suspect that the asteroid was initially comparable in size to Ceres, the largest known asteroid in the solar system, Raddi said. And it likely contained enough water to fill 30 percent of the Earth's oceans.

The result sheds light on how asteroids can deliver water to stars and other orbiting bodies. Geologists don't think Earth's water has been here for too long. The moon-forming impact would have melted the Earth's crust and mantle, vaporizing any water. Instead, asteroids likely delivered water to Earth in the young solar system.

And this research shows that this process was not unique to our solar system. It's likely occurring throughout planetary systems in the galaxy, scientists said.

"Our work reinforces previous evidence that water-rich asteroids are commonin other planetary systems," Raddi said. "It also confirms that asteroids can deliver their constituents (rocks and ice) onto the surface of planets in the inner parts of the planetary systems orbiting other stars, likely within what is known as the habitable zone."

The team made their observations on the U.K.-owned William Herschel Telescope in the Canary Islands, Spain. The study was published today (May 7) in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society.

Carl Sagan devised a toolkit for nonsense-busting and critical thinking, which includes these nine rules:

Wherever possible there must be independent confirmation of the “facts.”

Encourage substantive debate on the evidence by knowledgeable proponents of all points of view.

Arguments from authority carry little weight — “authorities” have made mistakes in the past. They will do so again in the future. Perhaps a better way to say it is that in science there are no authorities; at most, there are experts.

Spin more than one hypothesis. If there’s something to be explained, think of all the different ways in which it could be explained. Then think of tests by which you might systematically disprove each of the alternatives. What survives, the hypothesis that resists disproof in this Darwinian selection among “multiple working hypotheses,” has a much better chance of being the right answer than if you had simply run with the first idea that caught your fancy.

Try not to get overly attached to a hypothesis just because it’s yours. It’s only a way station in the pursuit of knowledge. Ask yourself why you like the idea. Compare it fairly with the alternatives. See if you can find reasons for rejecting it. If you don’t, others will.

Quantify. If whatever it is you’re explaining has some measure, some numerical quantity attached to it, you’ll be much better able to discriminate among competing hypotheses. What is vague and qualitative is open to many explanations. Of course there are truths to be sought in the many qualitative issues we are obliged to confront, but finding them is more challenging.

If there’s a chain of argument, every link in the chain must work (including the premise) — not just most of them.

Occam’s Razor. This convenient rule-of-thumb urges us when faced with two hypotheses that explain the data equally well to choose the simpler.

Always ask whether the hypothesis can be, at least in principle, falsified. Propositions that are untestable, unfalsifiable are not worth much. Consider the grand idea that our Universe and everything in it is just an elementary particle — an electron, say — in a much bigger Cosmos. But if we can never acquire information from outside our Universe, is not the idea incapable of disproof? You must be able to check assertions out. Inveterate skeptics must be given the chance to follow your reasoning, to duplicate your experiments and see if they get the same result.

A new video, filmed back in August of 2013 has surfaced. The video shows a bright light descending down behind the mountain. The person who filmed this was standing at lake Øyungen, filming the light south-west.

We got in touch with some contacts we have at Røros Airport, which is close to where these lights are seen. They have seen this video and even though their logbooks do not go back as far as 2013, they said it was highly likely that this was an incoming plane, landing at Røros Airport. What we do know is that this is not a regular airliner, but it could be a small plane from several flight clubs, flight schools and forest fire management flying around in the area. We have tried to contact some of these clubs but so far, no answers. We cannot be 100% sure that it is an incoming airplane, but from the information we have gathered, that's what it looks like at the moment.

But what's interesting is the rapid flashes that was caught on camera during this video. These are often seen in Hessdalen and is very much a part of the mystery.

An ancient legend speaks of a mysterious door which is located in the vicinity of Lake Titicaca. This door, will open one day and welcome the creator gods of all mankind. These gods will return in their "Solar Ships" and all mankind will be in awe.

Strangely such a door seems to exist according researchers. Located near the mountainous region of Hayu Brand, 35 Km of the city of Puno in Peru, we find the mysterious "Gate of the Gods". Since immemorial time, this region has been revered by local natives who actually consider it as the "city of the gods" Even though a few structures have been discovered, researchers believe that there are numerous monuments hidden beneath the surface.

This "Gate" was discovered by accident when local tour guide Jose Luis Delgado Mamani was hiking in the surrounding area. Curiously Mamani stated that he had long before dreamed about this structure and saw what appeared to be a door covered with pink marble with several figures located to the sides. These visions are closely linked to the legends of the native Indians of the area that tell that this "door" was a "gateway to the land of the Gods". Legends speak that in the distant past, great heroes crossed into the land of the gods, enjoying a prosperous and glorious immortal life.

Another legend says that during the time of the Spanish conquest, an Incan priest called Amaru Muru, from the temple of the seven rays fled from his temple with a sacred golden disk known as "the key to the gods of the seven rays". The priest hid in the mountains of Hayu Brand afraid that the Spanish might take the key from him.

Later the priest arrived at the "Gate of the Gods" at Hayu Marca, where he showed the key to several priests and shamans of the area. After they performed a ritual, the door opened with a blue light emanating from it. The priest, Amaru Muru handed the golden disk to one of the shamans and entered the door, he was never seen again.

Mysteriously, researchers have found a circular depression to the side of the door where a smaller disk-shaped object could have been placed.

Visitors who have traveled to the "Gate of the Gods" at Hayu Marca, and who have placed their hands on the small door state that they feel a great energy that flows through their bodies, they have also described strange visions like stars, columns of fire and music which some described as being "rhythmic, unusual and extraordinary".

The "Gate of the Gods" at Hayu Marca resembles the Puerta del Sol de Tiwanaku (Tiahuanaco) and five other archaeological sites in the vicinity. Mysteriously if we draw straight lines between the Gate of the Gods" at Hayu Marca, the Puerta del Sol de Tiwanaku and other archaeological sites, we get a strange cross that joins at the center at the plateau of Lake Titicaca, one of the most sacred places in the region.

Researchers have even found the remains of an ancient city beneath Lake Titicaca, presumed to have existed thousands of years ago, predating the known cultures of the region.

Is it possible that there are "portals" located on Earth which are connected to other galaxies? planets? dimensions? And that one of those portals is the "Gate of the Gods" at Hayu Marca? Is it possible that these ancient texts are more than just stories of the past? And that there is something true and unique about them? We look forward to finding out more about these mysterious locations and there hidden secrets.

We all know the number of pyramids that have been found worldwide. The Pyramid building phenomena apparently conquered out ancestor in the distant past who created all kinds of pyramids in all corners of the world. Perhaps the most famous of the pyramids around the world are those at the Giza plateau in Egypt. In the shadows of the Great Pyramid of Giza, and half way around the world we find the Great Pyramid of Koba.

This majestic construction is located in the jungle of Coba, Mexico and dates back to 500-900 AD. Since its construction, the pyramid has undergone numerous modifications, that have given the entire archaeological site a degree of mysticism. It is located about 90 kilometers east of Chichen Itza. The city was constructed around two lagoons. Among the numerous “temple pyramids”

Within the representative elements of the Mayan culture present in Coba, we can highlight some beautiful artifacts made of pottery that date back to the year 100 AD when this “ancient” city became the center of power in the north Yucatan.

If you still are unsure about the importance of this archaeological site here is something worth mentioning. First of all, the extension of ancient Coba was gigantic. The city consisted of about 80 square kilometers and had the capacity to accommodate at least 50 000 inhabitants. Curiously, just like other Mayan cities, Coba was lost in time and history just like its adjacent city of Chichen Itza.

Right in the middle of this ancient city you find one of the tallest pyramids built by the first inhabitants of the region, the majestic pyramid temple called Ixmoja. This incredible construction rises 42 into the air, and has 120 steps that lead to the top of the pyramid. With these dimensions, this pyramid is recognized as the highest structure found in the Yucatan Peninsula.

The structures at Coba are relatively well preserved thanks to the fact that this area is more isolated from society, so the structures of this majestic ancient city have less impact by modern day life whites helped in preserving its original, pre-hespanic look.

In its beginning, Coba was considered one of the most important ancient sites in the Yucatan Peninsula, proof of that is its Pyramid, holding the title as the tallest pyramid in the region. Coba declined in the year 1000 AD but re-emerged in the period between 1200 and 1500. The ancient city of Coba was completely uninhabited after the Spanish conquest, and it was not until the mid-nineteenth century that two explorers, named John Lloyd Sstephens and Frederick Catherwood mentioned it in historical books.

What are the definitions of "God" and those of an Alien? No one can say that these two terms cannot be combined or that a similar meaning does not defines them. God certainly is not from Earth, therefore is extraterrestrial: occurring or existing beyond the earth's atmosphere, a being from beyond the earth's atmosphere. It is not intended, since it is evidently not necessary, to spread the possibility that "Gods" have an extraterrestrial origin, and it does not involve in giving up a persons belief or principles. Some researchers even suggest that such possibility points to the contrary.

It is very likely that our civilization originated from another civilization that inhabited Earth much before history tells us. According to texts, "God" is a supernatural entity, creator of the universe with absolute power over it. Aliens can be defined as beings "strangers" to out Planet.

Today, we do not have ( or have seen) evidence of the existence of neither of those two aspects. We have ancient texts that mention both god and extraterrestrial beings but in different ways. It is up to the beliefs of each person where these aspects are divided or where they meet. But then again, our beliefs are a matter of faith, not evidence. Almost all religions speak of mysterious beings, messengers, gods, etc... even the Christian religion mentions the existence of creatures with the ability of flight. Usually, these gods or messengers were depicted with wings, although it is never clearly specified how these beings managed to fly.

Ancient Indian texts suggest that theories about flying beings and mysterious objects could actually turn out to be true. Religious theories state that a "God" or several "Gods" are responsible for the creation of life on planet Earth, these theories are reflected in ancient sacred texts such as the Bible, Popol Vuh and the Torah but even before these ancient texts, mysterious beings were described in ancient Egypt, Greece and other ancient civilizations around the globe. All of those stories speak of beings, who descended from the skies, to create mankind and civilization. Mysteriously, researchers have found evidence that these "sky beings" or "sky gods" came fro constellations such as the Pleiades, Orio or Sirius.

Ancient Astronaut theorists suggest that ancient gods mentioned in these sacred texts are in fact extraterrestrial beings with highly advanced technologies who were misinterpreted as "Gods" by ancient mankind.

Imagine if we traveled today to ancient Egypt 2000-3000 years ago, arriving in jet planes, helicopters, with our tablets, smartphones and laser weapons. How would ancient people in Egypt interpret our technology, would they consider us as ordinary humans? It would make us stand out from the rest, giving us a notion of power, simply because, ancient humans back then, would not recognize our technology, they would not understand it, thus, it is very likely that ancient people would categorize us as "Gods" who came in flying birds with wings, producing smoke, fire and extreme noise upon landing... Much like the descriptions of ancient gods in Mesoamerica and Asia, when feathered serpents or Dragons arrived from the stars, creating chaos and havoc upon landing.

Today, as science advances, theology isn't staying behind. The Catholic church for example, has releases a statement where they suggest that their beliefs do not go against astronomy and the possibility that there is life elsewhere in the universe. So we need to ask ourselves is it possible that some ancient texts that speak of gods and messengers from the heavens are actually misinterpretations that need to be re-analyzed and rethought? It might just turn out that we have missed, small details in history that could eventually answer many questions that are being raised both by religion, and science alike.

New images claiming to show the Roswell UFO crash provide 'undeniable' evidence of alien life - at least according to conspiracy theorists.

The images allegedly reveal the remains of an alien found dead in New Mexico, and were taken by Bernard Ray between 1947 and 1949 on a Kodachrome film.

Despite being widely dubbed as fakes, they have reignited theories that aliens have visited Roswell in a secret army hangar dubbed Area 51.

The discovery was announced this week to an audience of 10,000 people, following what UFO specialists say was an extensive five-year study to determine the authenticity of the slides.

Along with the announcement was the unveiling of a documentary, but the highly-anticpated slides themselves were still not revealed.

Several UFO researchers noticed that in the documentary trailer researchers are seen looking at one of the slides.

A number of people have zoomed in on this slide, changing its angle and producing a blurred image of a human-looking figure.

According to Jaime Maussan, a widely recognised Mexican UFO specialist, the images must be real because the sketch of the extra-terrestrial image did not exist at the time the photo was taken.

'(These photos) show the human race, beyond any doubt, that extra-terrestrial visits are a reality,' Maussan said.

'That is why the presentation of two slides, two transparencies, where a being with non-human features can be seen, is very important.

'These photos were dated by experts during a period, where the model of the archetype extraterrestrial we know today did not exist.

ROSWELL: CONSPIRACY CAPITAL

Roswell, New Mexico sprang to international fame on July 8, 1947, when the local newspaper reported the capture of a 'flying saucer' by government officials in the town.

Over the decades since the discovery, conspiracy theorists have insisted that the debris came from an alien spacecraft, and that the fact was covered up by the military in their secret hangar, Area 51.

The continuing belief of alien activity in the area led the Air Force to launch an investigation into the crash in 1995.

Officials concluded that the 'UFO' was part of a balloon launched into the atmosphere as part of a secret government surveillance programme aimed at the USSR.

However, many have refused to accept that explanation, alleging a conspiracy to hide the existence of extra-terrestrial life.

Edgar Mitchell, an astronaut who was the sixth person to land on the moon, attended the event and said he believed the images are authentic.

However, many claim the images are a publicity stunt as the unveiling event in Mexico cost $350 for entry.

Others have compared the images to previous photos of mummies from the Smithsonian

'There is already a considerable amount of cynicism and scepticism about these pictures,' Nigel Watson author of the UFO Investigations Manual told DailyMail.com.

It follows footage that emerged in February allegedly showing the body of an alien being handled by American soldiers during the 1940s.

New Zealand-based magazine, Uncensored, did a frame-by-frame analysis and said it proves 'there were aliens in Area 51'.

But Philip Mantle, the UFO expert who was involved with the release of the original Roswell films, said these latest images are nothing but 'utter b*******'.

It has since became apparent that the footage was taken from the film Alien Autopsy starring Ant and Dec, released back in 2006.

'As with the 'Alien Autopsy' hoax, the slides will eventually be proven to be a fraud, long after the distribution rights, licencing and other revenue streams are sold off or exhausted,' said Watson.

After reading a recent story on the Washington Post detailing a mysterious plane flying continuous circles over the Baltimore protests, I decided to check out the website Flight Radar's 'live flight tracker' myself to see if I could find anything 'interesting' and what I found in my research adds another unsolved mystery to internet lore...a strange spy plane is flying continuous passes over very remote West Virginia and Maryland mountains a few hours west of Washington DC. Is this spy plane 'remote sensing' the secret undergound doomsday bases known to be in these West Virginia mountains according to a trusted ANP source? For those who have a background in intelligence, the CIA or military, we'd love to know what your thoughts are.

Leaving BWI Airport in Baltimore at 6:14 pm on May 7th and proceeding to fly west until it arrived over the West Virginia/Maryland mountains, only to fly back and forth over the mountains, a huge power plant and an abandoned highway that reminds of the movie 'Road Warrior' for the next 4+ hours, N212AZ left a rather strange path as seen in the screenshots above and below, only to return to BWI at 11:22 pm after flying at approx. 17,500' over the mountains, power plant and an abandoned highway continuously for hours.

What makes this flight even more strange is that N212AZ, an ATR-42-320 turboprop plane, and its owner have been linked to the CIA and prisoner rendition overseas in the Netherlands back in 2004 according to this linked report and have been determined to be able to carry rather intricate remote sensing equipment and abilities.

Other CIA and private mercenary contractor planes that overflew Denmark (including Greenland) and are suspected of being CIA transports include:

Back in 2011, Airliners.net forum commenters pointed out some very strange flights being taken by ATR-42's, taking off from BWI and being gone for sometimes 6 or more hours, only to return to BWI without landing anywhere. The series of comments by airline forum members below makes us believe that a theory suggested by a trusted ANP source, that remote sensing is being done by these planes, is likely the reason for the strange patterns. What are they 'remote sensing'? The 1st video below tells us about what the elite in DC had hoped would stay a 'secret underground doomsday base' in the West Virginia mountains prior to it being exposed by the news and abandoned. I came across this series of flights while tracking an inbound flight full of family. These ATR-42 flights (registered to "Jefferson Financial Co" out of Wilmington, DE) have ranged from 4 minutes to upwards of 6 hours in length and as far as I can see, begin and end at BWI. I know NOAA has been running P-3C flights over I-95 and the 695/495 beltways for a couple of weeks at about FL010 in order to collect pollution data. These appear to be some kind of test/calibration flights; does anyone have any insight? Today's flight track was pretty awesome.

I use to do NAV AID calibration with an ATR42, so maybe they are checking VOR, NBD, PAPI or ILS in that area, If you see looks like they are doing some kind of apps....

Some sort of navigation/calibration programme is going on at BWI. Large white "X"'s are appearing on the ground along some of the approach paths. Two of them are in my local area. I got the info from one of the guys installing the "X"'s, he said they were going to do flyovers at the X locations.

(WHY WOULD THEY BE FLYING FOR 6+ HOURS OVER MARYLAND AND DELAWARE IN THIS PATTERN IN 8/2011?)

This isn't the 1st time that N212AZ has been caught making unexplainable loops for hours upon hours upon hours as shown in the additional screenshots of past flights below over Maryland and Delaware. In the 2nd video below we learn more about the secretive spy planes over the recent Baltimore, Maryland area.

ANP would love to know what theories our readers have as to why these flights are taking place and what is so important about these areas that a very secretive government agency feels the need to constantly monitor what is going on below, especially knowing that 'down below' in these most recent flights over Maryland and West Virginia consists of largely unoccupied mountainous terrain and an abandoned highway construction project that looks like something out of 'Road Warrior' lore.

A story from several months ago told us that West Virginia authorities were on the lookout for ISIS in the poverty stricken state, is this part of that search? Our well-trusted source tells us that they are using remote sensing to scan the area that there are underground bunkers in the vicinity.

The 1st screenshot below is from January 22, 2015. This is over the Maryland/Delaware east coast.

Though much shorter flights, on April 22nd and April 23 N212AZ began scoping out the Maryland/West Virginia mountains.

They've been flying circles of the area May 4th, 6th and 7th with flights nearly 6 hours or more long. What do you think they're doing? What will today bring?

UPDATE MAY 7, 2015 AT 11:45 P.M. CDT (May 8 at 4:45 UTC): The unpiloted Russian re-supply ship due to re-enter Earth’s atmosphere Thursday evening (according to U.S. clocks) appears to have done so. Roscosmos – the Russian space agency – both tweeted and said in an online update that the Progress 59P, also known as Progress M-27M, mission ended and the craft destroyed during a fiery plunge over the Pacific Ocean late Thursday. It probably looked somewhat like the artist’s visualization above, which was created by Analytical Graphics, Inc.

Earlier Thursday evening, there were reports from S. America of sightings of the descending spacecraft, as it lost altitude above Earth’s surface. For example, Kirovoleg wrote at an online space forum:
I`ve just watched it pass overhead on Buenos Aires, at first it was quite dim but then it got quite bright for a moment, then dim again and bright. I guess it is still tumbling and that is why it changed intensity.

The craft – carrying 6,000 pounds of food, fuel, and supplies for International Space Station – was declared lost when, shortly after its April 28 launch, it began spinning out of control.

Its reentry on May 7-8 was not controlled, which means the exact time and location were unknown in advance. But thanks to spacecraft technologies, computers and global community of space fans on the Internet, the craft was continuously tracked throughout the day Thursday prior to its final fall.

Because over 70% of the surface of Earth is covered by water, there was always a high probability that the Progress 59 would reenter over an ocean. But the spacecraft’s orbital inclination also caused it to pass over land areas. The European Space Agency (ESA), which said it was “in close contact with Russian and U.S. authorities regarding the Progress M-27M / 59P mission situation,” said on April 30:

Progress 59 launch on April 28, via ESA

The Progress 59 spacecraft was launched from Kazakhstan on April 28 and was heading to the International Space Station (ISS) with food, fuel and supplies. An unexpected incident occurred during the spacecraft separation, and video sent back by the spacecraft showed it was spinning out of control.

Russian officials declared on April 29 that they were unable to regain the spacecraft control. It was clear that the doomed spacecraft would return fall back into Earth’s atmosphere.

Progress is a series of unmanned cargo craft used to resupply the International Space Station.

What observers might have seen when the spacecraft re-entered. The Russian cargo spacecraft was expected to disintegrate around May 8, as soon as it entered the densest part of our atmosphere, about 70 – 75 miles (112-120 km) high.

A disintegrating spacecraft will look like a spectacular meteor, or fiery streak, across Earth’s sky. It might be visible in daytime. One way of identifying it as a possible manmade object, and not a natural meteor, is that reentering manmade objects appear considerably slower upon reentry than natural space rocks. The re-entry might appear slow enough to allow pictures or video, something that usually is very difficult with much faster natural meteors. However, Progress 59’s reentry over the Pacific makes this unlikely.

Also, reentering spacecraft have shown significant fragmentation. It is possible to see chunks – possibly in varying colors – creating bursts of light as they fly off the main meteor.

A reentry trajectory from southwest to northeast – as well as from northwest to southeast – was consistent with the orbit of this type of spacecraft.

Before the Progress vehicle reentered the atmosphere, the spacecraft might have been visible to the unaided eye from some locations as it was still orbiting Earth. Remember that orbiting objects and satellites appear as slowly “moving stars” in our sky. During the last hours of the Progress M-27M / 59P mission, the craft would appear to move somewhat faster than other satellites – faster than the apparent speed of ISS – because observers would be looking at an object that is more than twice as close as other orbiting objects.

While still in orbit, Progress 59 was expected to show show variations of brightness, which would confirm the object was tumbling in space and thus reflecting sunlight intermittently.

Normally, after delivering its cargo to the ISS, Progress spacecraft would be undocked from the orbital laboratory and then a command is sent to purposely send it to reenter the atmosphere and disintegrate over the South Pacific area, so that any surviving debris would not pose a danger to populated areas.

According to NASA, by the way, the ISS crew is not in danger of running out of food or supplies. SpaceX already had a scheduled launch to bring more supplies to the ISS on June 19.

Bottom line: A Progress 59 re-supply craft, launched from Kazakhstan on April 28, quickly lost control. It has now fallen from space, over the Pacific.

The inhabitants of the Archuleta Mesa caverns-aliens or demonic?

Due to the huge paradigm shift within society in the 2nd half of the 20th Century due to technology UFO's took an interplanetary explanation. Where as before that tag had been placed upon them sightings of the supposed occupants of these aerial mysteries were referred to as “creatures”. Perhaps that label was closer to the truth. “Creatures” allegedly used by Secretary of State, Cordell Hull when he referred to the alien appearing cadaver that was reported kept hidden in an underground facility below the White House circa 1938 according to a close friend who grew up with Cordell Hull and then became a pastor.

Stage of history set

However, in 1938 with Nazi Germany gaining momentum in Europe and a vague footing of war beginning to materialize, and with Japan already invading Manchuria as the Chinese Emperor's infiltrated government refused to retaliate, little could anyone have guess what would happen by 1942. As the secretive military expedition made its way from Los Alamos to the Dulce, New Mexico area. A monumental confrontation would soon take place according to Anthony Sanchez, but was this incident properly interpreted by either the powers that be at the time or author Anthony Sanchez himself?

Reality or myth?

Admittedly, even Sanchez acknowledged that the invaders had coexisted with man since primitive times centuries earlier with only a cover story that they had evacuated their devastated planet to seek asylum on earth even though they were not well suited to our atmosphere and degree of solar radiation, necessitating their underground preference. So the story goes. Yet, the story does not seem to support the actions of an extraterrestrial race that although technically superior, chose to inhabit the underworld instead of the surface of the planet as did the cannibalistic Morlocks who existed underground in the H. G. Wells science fiction classic “The Time Machine”.

Grim parallel

Strangely, there is a bizarre correlation between the Morlocks of the H.G.Wells classic novel and the relationship between the unsuspecting human population and the underground creatures who partook in cattle mutilations by night, abducted humans nocturnally, and even openly assaulted people in larger groups when such actions became unavoidable. The 1942 expedition to the Archuleta Mesa was one of those occasions where open hostility became unavoidable. So, as the first elements of the secret elite unit began to arrive in the area, reconnaissance revealed that indeed rumored underground caverns did indeed exist. orders were quickly given to penetrate the unknown.

Intriguing place

At first foot soldiers who had uncovered the access point under direction of their commanding officer began a slow systematic probe of the caverns. The upper levels proved astonishing in many respects. Evidence of a terrific battle that had taken place decades before seemed evident, but along with this revelation came other fantastic discoveries. Once the complexity of the find was determined, the commanding officer radioed his findings and more experts were ordered in to help decipher the combination of bizarre elements being uncovered by the soldiers.

First impressions

The upper level appeared to have been the seen of a bloody skirmish that had resulted in the deaths of many on both sides. Apparently Native American warriors had raided the caves armed with repeating rifles, six guns, spears, and arrows. Scorching from blasts were evident on the walls of the cavern. Bodies lay strewn on the floors, Weapons of old made for familiar artifacts but there also puzzling devices that appeared to be from an arsenal of some kind, but they were not recognizable. What was supposed to have been a exploration had now become a combination archeological effort as well as a forensics investigation. The commanding officer knowing he was out of his depth had requested specialists to examine what had been found.

This unexpected aspect added to the expeditionary force slowed down the probing into the depths of the caverns and preoccupied the troops with collection of artifacts, labeling, containerizing, and transporting the findings onto the surface where trucks and jeeps had been brought in to ship the contents to proper facilities for examination. Days turned into weeks and a slow progress was made moving deeper into the caverns.

Who were they?

After collecting the forensic evidence of a battle that had preceded the turn of the century in all likelihood, forward scouts began a deeper descent in earnest. At first there were brief and sporadic sightings of diminutive figures peering at the GI's (General Infantryman) from behind corners. The men quickly realized they were not alone, but who indeed had they happened upon? The decomposed bodies of large heads and small torsos were unrecognizable and had been collected, embalmed, and packaged for further study elsewhere, but now there were the living creatures that made their presence vaguely known as they retreated further down the long dark corridors.

Advanced technology

The expeditionary troops soon realized the cavern walls had transformed into a finished surface not unlike cement, but of a finer type of material. Gone was the rocky natural surface. As they walked along inspecting the bizarre interior of the underground mesa they encountered instrumentality they did not recognize. According to author, Anthony Sanchez, it was the thin flat panel screens and monitors that we are familiar with today only fabricated by another civilization decades before we had manufactured this technology. Unbeknownst to the curious soldiers who squinted at technology they thought was German in origin, they were being watched through the very devices they did not understand.

A changing trail

Further down into the caverns it appeared that the rocky walls had been lined with some kind of strange paneling. There was a change in the atmosphere as a terrible smell was present along with a dank mustiness that made the men sweaty and uncomfortable. This began taking a toll on the men assigned physical labor as the artifacts were being lifted, carried, and moved to the surface. Once it was reported that there was an unknown presence in the caverns, the officer in charge made sure all men were armed and prepared for possible action. Forward scouts ordered deeper into the caverns were now on alert and heavily armed. At that time they had no ground penetrating radar or geologic analysis of the area. They had no idea how deep the caves would go.

Further into hell

The further the scouts probed the more hot and noxious it seemed the air became. it was becoming more difficult for the men to tolerate the adverse conditions. Some men could no longer psychologically handle the underground conditions and were assigned topside duties. Tension and morbid expectation came to a head when two of the furthest forward scouts ran into what looked like adjacent rooms with several frightening entities within. As they quietly crept to a vantage point so they could spy on the strange congregation, a hand gun fell from one man's holster making an echoish metallic sound as it hot the stone floor.

One deadly mistake

Almost immediately the tense silence was drowned out by the savage reaction of the beings as they rushed out after the men. Before the soldier could grab his Model 1914 and begin firing he was overwhelmed! The other soldier could hear the man's anguished screams from behind him as he sprinted through the caves toward his comrades with the creatures in hot pursuit! The commotion had began so deep in the caverns that it had not been heard by the main body of the military unit. The soldier continued to run, gasping for breath in the foul smelling air as he tried to put distance between himself and the fiends who had surged over his buddy and were now after him.

The fight breaks out

As he drew closer to his comrades nearly at the end of his endurance, the soldier screamed to the main body of infantry and fired his handgun into the air! Suddenly, the soldiers found themselves face to face with entities they had not thought of as vicious and hostile that were now upon them. These were elite troops, however, trained to respond in every kind of condition and they did! Although surprised at first they responded. The creatures who had swarmed upon the one scout who had blundered deeper down the cavern had not been confronted by a sophisticated form of resistance they were apparently not prepared for! fifty caliber machine guns, M-1 rifles, and automatic hand guns were pumped into the ghastly entities that had charged at the expeditionary troops.

The nightmarish fight

Muzzle flashes lit up the dim caverns as the savage firefight raged on. it was clear that these entities were unaccustomed to the weaponry deployed by the elite infantry selected for the mission. Previously they had tasted the sting of Colt 45's and Henry rifles at the hands of the Apaches who had fought them earlier, but these were well trained soldiers with the most devastating arms issued to any infantry in the world! Even though they fought viciously the creatures succumbed to the concentrated might of US Army issued firepower. During the deadly skirmish some of the advanced weapons of the creatures had been leveled at the troops and these were the ones that had scorched the walls of the upper levels decades before during the battle wit the Indian warriors! This did not turn the tide of the battle. What remained of the creatures retreated deeper into the caverns in the wake of the bloody fight.

In the aftermath of the battle, medics were faced with treating wounds they had never seen or been trained to treat. Burns originating from blasts that had been projected by an unknown type of weapon. Lung ailments had also befallen many of the soldiers due to exposure to the submerged cavernous environment. The medical reports were just about as disturbing as everything else reported from the Archuleta Mesa expedition.

The inhabitants

Author Anthony Sanchez claims that after the initial battle reports sent to Washington from accounts given by the commanding officer on site orders, were submitted to wipe out the rest of the “inhabitants” as they were called. The federal government and US military command had no idea who was down there in the Archuleta Mesa caverns, but the area was of significant strategic value and efforts toward weaponizing nuclear research were being delayed!

Pandora's Box

In his book “The Day After Roswell” Philip J. Corso, author and former US Army intelligence officer wondered if the supposed crash of the alien disk 75 miles northwest of the 509th Army Airfield was not indeed an intentional seed that had been planted. Had the Roswell wreckage been nothing more than the introduction to mankind of a rapid technological ascent designed to hasten a destructive cold war that would escalate into a third global conflict rife with famine, plague, and pestilence? The designs of evil and godlessness are persistent and all consuming as the government, our media, and Hollywood all play a role in the separation of Church and State, secular humanism, and the attacks on decency that have made our world a continuing arena of terrorism and social unrest.

Outer or inner space

The question remains. Who were those inhabitants who would again emerge years later in 1979 when tunneling operations in the vicinity unearthed another savage confrontation with the “Inhabitants”. Were they really aliens from another planet who had decided to remain underground in a noxious environment or were they the same evil entities that have plagued man since the very beginning in a spiritual war of good and evil that any of us cannot afford to lose because it all has to do with the disposition of our very souls.

Final thought

I remember being amazed at Norio Hayakawa's documentary on the Dulce underground base and his coverage of the events that surrounded local people, law enforcement, cattle mutilations, and the far reaching impact of such secret projects. Norio seemed so shocked by his own findings that I can only paraphrase his final summation. Seeing that the proliferation of Deep Underground Military Bases
(DUMBS) alluded to something far more sinister and apocalyptical, Norio Hayakawa glanced directly into the camera saying that they could take us, they could imprison us, they could kill us, but they could not take our souls if we had accepted the Lord. It would seem to this writer that unless things change drastically, we are headed in a disastrous direction.

I encountered an entity/being which was standing outside. I was getting ready for bed and laid down. 5 minutes later, I felt as if I couldn’t move. The same sensation I get when I have sleep paralysis. The thing is, I never had sleep paralysis going to sleep, I only get them waking up. Instead of seeing things inside the room, I saw a faint light coming from the window (different from the moon’s natural lighting/street lamps/etc). Mind you, the blinds are closed, but I could make out a silhouette of a being standing right outside my bedroom window. It was facing to side (profile) from what I could tell. It had an enlarged head but stood like a human. It wasn’t very tall and I knew it wasn’t a person/human. It didn’t feel supernatural either; it strongly felt extraterrestrial. I heard it make a few noises but it was very vague.

During the entire encounter, the being was stationary and did not move or change direction. When I regained the ability to move, I got out of bed to see if it was still there. The entity was still standing there judging by the silhouette in the lighting. That’s when I realized it was not an ordinary sleep paralysis. Usually in sleep paralysis the visions, shadows, sounds and figures all disappear once you regain control of your body. That was not the case in this event. I didn’t bother looking out of the blinds. A gut feeling or something told me not to look through the window. It didn’t feel threatened nor did I. Its presence was intimidating but not hostile in nature. That’s the vibe I got from the encounter. About 10 mins from the initial sighting, it left. The being and the faint lights both vanished like a blind spot.

Hi all:

I will reserve judgement re the recent Mexico live event, because I haven't seen the broadcast yet. However, allow me to make a personal observation re the presented "Roswell" slides. Based on everything what has been said prior and after the televised Mexico event, I assume that there is common agreement that the slides are real and depict a real
1940s event captured on late 1940s Kodachrome film. There has only been serious doubt whether the slides have anything whatsoever to do with the July, 1947 Roswell incident. The question I have been asking myself is whether the researchers involved -- or anyone else for that matter -- have made the investigative effort to determine at which "museum" the picture might have been taken, that had such a "being" on display, apparently lying next to a "gorilla" or "ape" head, apparently also equipped with a caption card. It would seem reasonable to assume that there must be some official body which holds historical 1940s records of "weird" and "freaky" museums in the US or abroad. It would seem rather odd to me at least that there wouldn't be more pictures of this particular "museum" and this particular "being" with an "ape" head apparently lying adjacent to it. If one could find relevant evidence to that effect, that would put this matter to rest for always I guess, as has e.g. been done with an indepth investigation into the mid 1990s alien autopsy film, which had also been heavily debated on prior and after the televised presentation and dismissed as a fraud or an autopsy of a deformed human being by "experts". The investigation ultimately led to the participants involved in the hoaxing of this autopsy film. Now, there is common agreement that this footage is a hoax because of the unmasking of the main leading actors.

If you believe millionaire art collector Forrest Fenn, there’s actually a real treasure buried somewhere in the Rocky Mountains, just waiting to be found. The 84-year-old author claims he hid a chest full of gold and jewelry – worth millions of dollars – in the mountains five years ago, and even left clues in his book The Thrill of the Chase: A Memoir Tens of thousands of people have joined the hunt, but no one has managed to find the coveted treasure so far.

Fenn, a native of New Mexico, moved back to Santa Fe with his wife in 1970. He has always had a strong sense of adventure, but he didn’t get the idea to hide his treasure until 1988, when he was diagnosed with kidney cancer. He was told that his chances of survival were slim, so he started thinking of creative ways to share his wealth. That’s when he thought of a treasure hunt.

As he was being treated for cancer, Fenn purchased an antique 10-inch by 10-inch bronze chest and filled it with gold and priceless historical artifacts from his collection. Although his cancer went into remission eventually, he still went ahead with his plan to bury the chest. He hid it somewhere in the Rocky Mountains, but no one knows exactly where, or even in which state. Fenn himself has olny confirmed that it could be in Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, or Wyoming, but says people have to follow his clues in order to find it.

He hasn’t revealed its exact contents, but he says that numerous people laid their eyes on it before he hid it, including New York Times bestselling writer Douglas Preston. He told the media that the treasure chest contains 256 gold coins, among other articles of value – “mostly American eagles and double eagles, hundreds of gold nuggets, some as large as chicken eggs, ancient Chinese carved jade figures, Pre-Columbian gold animal artifacts, lots of rubies, emeralds, sapphires, and diamonds and other things.” The New Mexico Tourism Department estimates the value of the treasure to be at least $2 million.

“I wanted the monetary value to be a consideration for those who are looking for it, but mostly my motive was to get kids off the couch and away from their texting machines out in the mountains,” Fenn said.

Understandably, the treasure caught the attention of the nation when Forrest Fenn first made his announcement, five years ago. Hordes of people have tried to make sense of the nine clues that Fenn claims to have hidden in a poem in his book. About 30,000 people searched for the treasure last summer, and 50,000 are expected to go on the hunt this summer. “I think it’s out of control,” Fenn said. He did reveal that some people have come very close to finding it – as close as 200 feet away from the spot – but they were unaware of how close they really were.

Fenn said he isn’t disappointed that no one has found his treasure. “Somebody could find it tomorrow and it may not be found for a thousand years. I’m looking at the big picture. A lot of people who are searching for the treasure don’t see it the same way I do. Virginia Beach, VA - 6/15/2002: I was laying on a mattress on the living room floor with my baby in 2002 at my sisters home. It was 9:00 pm and it was very dark in the living room. The object made me notice it. I was laying on my back when my head was forced to turn right and I could not move my body at all and I could not move my head. I saw a red light about 15-20 feet away about a foot off the ground. I heard a very high pitch sound it was so loud. It did not seem to move at all but it wasn't there before. At this same time it felt like my head was turning back and forth so rapidly it was not humanly possible to do that. I was not in control of my body. It all lasted I think maybe 30 seconds. I was too afraid to move once it ended. So I lay there for hours trying to figure out what had happened to me. The red light disappeared and the high pitch sound stopped at the same time I was able to move again. I definitely feel something else had control of me. TV Station Refuses To Comment On UFO Over San Diego

When several callers phoned into San Diego's NBC News affiliate April 28, the station captured this unusual colorful grouping of aerial lights over San Ysidro, close to the U.S.-Mexico border.

"Some said they appeared to be red, blue, and green and kept flashing and changing colors. Some who saw them say the lights didn't seem to move, like those on a plane or a drone," NBC 7 San Diego reported.

According to the station, "We put in calls to the military here to see if they could identify what these were. So far, no response."

It wouldn't be the first time that UFOs had been reported to local military bases around San Diego. Previously classified government documents under the Air Force's former Project Blue Book UFO study show how San Diego's military has seen its fair share of UFO reports.

Regarding this most recent case of odd lights in the sky, the TV station itself has stopped responding, after UFO researchers and The Huffington Post called, asking for details of the event.

California - 5/1990: I woke up from sleeping in my bed. I looked out my window and saw several of these creatures gliding down my back dirt road. They seemed to have visited some of the neighbors and were taking some of them back and forth to the field that is by my house. I thought to myself my god what do I do and that I was happy they didn't notice me. I got the feeling they were NOT friendly. Just when I thought they hadn't seen me looking at them through the window, one pops up right in front of me on the other side of the window screen, i remember the razor like teeth then everything went black. I remember waking up thinking it was a really vivid dream, but since then my family changed drastically, neighbors changed, I've had several vivid dreams about aliens and being on some type of spaceship and experiments taking place and the weirdest things have happened to me in life that don't happen to most people. Since then very little has gone right and I just feel like I don't fit in. I've also had several mysterious illnesses that can't be identified. I've also seen different color lights in my bedroom and other stuff has taken place. Its been 30 yrs. And as I rack my brain for an explanation why my life is the way it is, I always end up back to that incident when shortly after that things just weren't right and kept progressively getting worst. UPDATE De stuurloos geraakte ruimtecargo Progress M-27M is vanochtend rond 04.04 uur Belgische tijd in de atmosfeer rond de Aarde terechtgekomen en opgebrand. Dat gebeurde boven de Stille Oceaan, ongeveer 900 km ten westen van de Markiezenarchipel, zo heeft een bron uit de Russische ruimevaartindustrie bekend.

Vooraf meldde het Russische ruimtevaartbureau Roscosmos dat de onbemande cargo tijdens zijn 160ste omloop de dichte lagen van de atmosfeer was ingedoken en daar was opgebrand.

Volgens het Amerikaanse NORAD, dat de baan van ruimtetuigen in de gaten houdt, hield de Progress om 04.20 uur Belgische tijd, met een marge van een minuut, op te bestaan.

Onderzoekers gingen ervan uit dat het zeven ton wegende ruimtetuig volledig zou opbranden. Maar de onderdelen in titanium en staal smelten niet. Het is niet bekend of er schroot op Aarde is terechtgekomen.

De ruimtecargo werd vorige week dinsdag gelanceerd ter bevoorrading van het Internationaal Ruimtestation ISS, maar hij raakte in een te hoge baan, bleek ook stuurloos te zijn en daalde ongecontroleerd weer af.

Een onderzoek van de regering legde de oorzaak van het incident, waarbij 458 miljoen euro is verloren gegaan (maar waar de verzekering zal bijspringen) voorlopig bij de draagraket Sojoez-2.1a. Het is nu wachten op een onderzoek van een staatscommissie waarvan de uitkomst niet later dan 13 mei bekend zal zijn.

Volgens berichten in de Russiche pers is de voor 26 mei voorziene lancering van een bemande Sojoez-capsule naar het ISS met een (weliswaar ander type van Sojoez) naar de eerste tien dagen van juli of midden die maand uitgesteld. In ieder geval is een voor vandaag/vrijdag voorziene persconferentie van de drie bemanningsleden geannuleerd.

Ondanks het falen van de Progress zijn er nog voldoende voorraden in de spacemeccano.

Volgens vicevoorzitter Aleksandr Ivanov van Roscosmos bedraagt het slaagpercentage van de 1.800 keer gelanceerde Sojoez-raket 97,3 procent.

Het zou gaan om "nooit eerder vertoonde alienbeelden" van de wereldberoemde crash in Roswell. Volgens de echte believers leveren de foto's nog maar eens het bewijs dat we niet alleen zijn in dit universum. Anderen zijn dan weer veel sceptischer en zeggen dat de foto's overduidelijk fake zijn.

Op de 'Be Witness' conferentie in Mexico City werden plots twee foto's getoond en voorgesteld als "nooit eerder vertoonde foto's" van een alien van de 'UFO'-crash in Roswell.

Feit
UFO-specialisten beweren dat het vijf jaar onderzoek heeft gekost om de authenticiteit van de beelden te bevestigen. De wereldwijd erkende UFO-specialist Jame Maussan zegt dat de foto's "hét bewijs leveren dat aliens bestaan". Rond die tijd bestonden er nog geen schetsen of modellen van buitenaardse wezens dus de foto's kunnen zijn inziens niet vervalst zijn. Ook onderzoeker Richard Dolan is er zeker van dat het gaat om authentieke foto's. De anatomie van de alien is volgens hem te gedetailleerd en correct om verzonnen te zijn.

Fictie
Volgens sceptici is het veel waarschijnlijker dat het toch gaat om een model of gewoon om vervalste foto's. "Het gaat hier waarschijnlijk om een hoax", zegt voormalig hoofd van het UFO-onderzoeksteam van het Britse Ministerie van Defensie, Nick Pope. "Sommige hoaxes willen oplichten om er munt uit te slaan, maar soms is het gewoon een verlangen om te kunnen zeggen: 'we hebben de wereld voor de gek gehouden'."

In 30 seconden eten bereiden naar je eigen smaak en op elk moment van de dag. In Star Trek doet de zogeheten replicator dit, maar dankzij Israëlische ingenieurs bestaat zo'n machine nu echt.

De Genie heeft de grootte van een koffiezetapparaat en kan eten maken met behulp van gedroogde ingrediënten. Via een app geef je aan waar je zin in hebt, waarna het apparaat begint te mixen en schudden. Binnen een halve minuut staat je eten in een portie van 140 gram voor je neus.

Personaliseren
Israëlische chefs bedenken constant nieuwe recepten voor Genie en er zijn plannen voor speciale pakketten voor mensen met bepaalde allergieën. Binnen afzienbare tijd moet Genie ook op de Europese markt verschijnen. Het echt personaliseren van het apparaat, zodat je eten is afgestemd op jouw lichaam, is een plan voor de langere termijn.

Eerlijker
Het team achter Genie verwacht niet dat het apparaat het avondje uit eten snel zal vervangen. Wel hopen de bedenkers er voedselverspilling en honger in arme landen mee tegen te gaan. "In onze wereld zijn we te dik en gooien we veel eten weg. In hun wereld hebben ze helemaal geen eten," aldus een van de ingenieurs. Genie zou volgens de bedenkers dan ook moeten zorgen dat het eten op de wereld eerlijker verdeeld wordt.

Jarenlang stonden Australische wetenschappers voor een raadsel, maar dat lijkt nu eindelijk opgelost. Een signaal, dat ze sinds 1998 sporadisch opvingen, blijkt niet afkomstig van blikseminslagen, maar van de microgolfoven die in het Parkes-observatorium gebruikt wordt.

De signalen, ook wel 'perytonen' genoemd, werd voor het eerst opgevangen in 1998. Ze waren "behoorlijk lokaal, ongeveer binnen een straal van 5 kilometer van de telescoop", legt Simon Johnston, hoofd van het Australische wetenschapsagentschap, uit aan The Guardian.

Wetenschappers dachten eerst dat het signaal, dat maar een of twee keer per jaar geregistreerd werd, uit de atmosfeer kwam, mogelijk veroorzaakt werd door blikseminslagen.

Draaiende microgolfoven

Vanaf volgend jaar wordt een nieuwe telescoop in gebruik genomen, "op de stilste plek ter wereld om aan astronomie te doen"

Op 1 januari werd nieuwe apparatuur geïnstalleerd, die sterke signalen op 2,4 GHz registreerde: typisch voor een microgolfoven.

De eerste tests met de microgolfoven van het observatorium leverden echter niets op: er werden geen perytonen geregistreerd. Tot men de deur opendeed terwijl de microgolfoven nog aan het draaien was. "Als je de oven op verwarmen zet en de deur opentrekt om een kijkje te nemen, genereert de microgolfoven storing", zegt Johnston. De signalen werden bovendien enkel opgevangen wanneer de telescoop in de richting van de microgolfoven stond, een extra hindernis om het mysterie op te lossen.

De wetenschappers goten hun bevindingen alvast in een wetenschappelijke paper.

Frustratie

Voor astronomen zorgen storingen, gecreëerd door de mens, wel vaker voor frustratie. Volgens Johnston is de microgolfoven maar een van de vele dingen waarmee de astronomen van de Parkes-radiotelescoop - bekend van het opvangen van de eerste radiosignalen van de maanlanding - de voorbije decennia kregen af te rekenen. Denk maar aan FM Radio, digitale televisies, mobiele telefoons en draadloos internet.

De onderzoekers van het observatorium verheugen zich daarom des te meer dat er vanaf volgend jaar een nieuwe telescoop in gebruik genomen wordt, "op de stilste plek ter wereld om aan astronomie te doen". "Er is geen mobiel netwerk, geen radiostation, geen wifi, ... Ongerept en stil. Daar kunnen we dingen in het universum ontdekken, die we in Parkes niet kunnen zien", aldus Johnston.

Nederlandse en Amerikaanse wetenschappers hebben mogelijk het oudste sterrenstelsel ooit gevonden. Ze zagen licht dat meer dan 13 miljard jaar geleden is uitgezonden en nu pas de aarde bereikt. Ter illustratie: licht legt per seconde een afstand van bijna 300.000 kilometer af.

Het stelsel heeft de naam EGS-zs8-1 gekregen. Omdat het stelsel 13 miljard jaar geleden nog jong was, ontstaan er heel veel nieuwe sterren. Het tempo ligt ongeveer tachtig keer zo hoog als bij onze Melkweg. Ten tijde van EGS-zs8-1 was het heelal pas 650 miljoen jaar oud. Er zijn eerder ook een paar sterrenstelsels uit die begintijd gevonden. De onderzoekers noemen dat "stukjes van de puzzel hoe de eerste sterrenstelsels zijn ontstaan".

In de periode van EGS-zs8-1 onderging het heelal een cruciale verandering. Waterstof, het meest voorkomende element, kreeg een andere 'vingerafdruk'. Daardoor kon het heelal zich ontwikkelen tot wat we vandaag de dag overal zien.

Door zulke oeroude stelsels te bestuderen, kunnen wetenschappers dus begrijpen hoe het universum nu in elkaar zit. Maar hoe verder de astronomen terugkijken, hoe moeilijker dat wordt. Kort na de oerknal was het heelal namelijk een ondoorzichtige wolk, die het licht tegenhield. Dit worden de 'dark ages' genoemd.

Het onderzoek krijgt een duw in de rug als over een paar jaar een nieuwe ruimtetelescoop wordt gelanceerd, de James Webb. Die kan verder terugkijken in de geschiedenis dan zijn voorgangers, zoals de Hubble en de Spitzer, die bij het Nederlands-Amerikaanse onderzoek zijn gebruikt.

Alles wat je in je leven hebt gedaan is het resultaat van een zeer geavanceerd computerprogramma. Elke relatie, elke herinnering; alles is gegenereerd door supercomputers. Deze theorie is bedacht door de Britse filosoof Nick Bostrom.

Vier jaar voordat hij zijn theorie presenteerde kwam The Matrix uit, een film waarin mensen worden vastgehouden in een computersimulatie. In zijn paper suggereert dr. Bostrom dat een hoogontwikkelde beschaving achter onze digitale gevangenis zou kunnen zitten.

Deze wezens – mens of buitenaards – kunnen in een simulatie van het verleden de leefomgeving van hun voorouders nabootsen. Het lijkt erop dat dr. Bostrom weleens gelijk zou kunnen hebben.

Rich Terrile is werkzaam in het Jet Propulsion Laboratory van NASA. “De snelste supercomputers van de NASA kunnen een heel mensenleven – inclusief alle gedachten die iemand gedurende zijn leven heeft gehad – in een maand tijd in kaart brengen. “In de kwantummechanica hebben deeltjes geen definitieve staat tenzij ze worden waargenomen. Vele theoretici hebben geprobeerd dit verschijnsel te verklaren. Eén mogelijke verklaring is dat we in een simulatie leven en alleen datgene zien wat we moeten zien.”

Als het universum een fictieve ruimte is die werd gecreëerd door supercomputers, kunnen we gelijk een aantal mysteries van de kosmos oplossen. Ten eerste de Fermiparadox, een paradox waarin de grote statistische waarschijnlijkheid van het bestaan van intelligent leven in schril contrast staat met het gebrek aan bewijs daarvoor. Misschien zijn de aarde en mensheid wel het middelpunt van het universum.

Een ander mysterie dat kan worden opgelost aan de hand van de Matrix-achtige theorie van dr. Bostrom is de rol van donkere materie, een hypothetische onzichtbare soort materie in het heelal.

Terwijl de hele wereld zich druk maakt over de Roswell foto’s naar aanleiding van de presentatie in Mexico, lachen de buitenaardsen ons uit.

Keer op keer vertonen ze zich juist in Mexico en ook nu weer bij de Popocatépetl vulkaan.

Twee dagen voordat de grote presentatie plaatsvond in Mexico City, verscheen er een grote sigaarvormige ufo boven de Popocatépetl vulkaan.

Hoewel er in de loop der jaren werkelijk talloze UFO’s in alle vormen en maten zijn waargenomen bij deze vulkaan, besteed de wereld er nauwelijks aandacht aan.

Ondanks dat er eveneens diverse werden waargenomen bij een andere vulkaan afgelopen maand zoals bij de Calbuco in Chili die explodeerde.

Hier hebben we nu opnieuw te maken met een grote sigaarvormige, eenzelfde als die is ontdekt bij het ISS ruimtestation en op de planeet Mars.

Strange things usually occur at the most unexpected times in the most unexpected places. You could be busy doing your daily tasks when a strange object suddenly appears out of the blue, and if you are lucky enough, you might even get to catch it on tape.

This was the case for a law student named David Jorge Lazarte who was in his backyard in the Pueyrredón neighborhood when an unfamiliar sight caught his attention. He was just working out in his back garden when the bizarre scene unfolded before his eyes.

David stated, “I saw this bright object in the sky, looked for my camcorder and started to film, using my neighbour’s banana tree as a reference.”

Eager to catch the scene on tape before it was too late, David pulled out his camera to record the strange orbs floating above the city of Cordoba in Argentina. Fortunately, he was able to gather proof of the unusual glowing device.

“I have a tripod for the camcorder, but could not use it because I did not want to lose the opportunity to film the object. I recorded two more videos but they did not come out well.”

Fortunately for David, one of the three videos he took turned out fine. This footage shows the unexplained orbs rotating and moving slowly across the sky. David also added that orbs were heading towards the east.

Where did those celestial lights come from and what was their purpose? It is not a surprise that people are fascinated with conspiracy theories of unidentified flying objects, given the list of events in which they appeared. These strange devices pass through our planet’s skies and leave us with unanswered questions. David, just like the rest of us, might never know exactly what he saw. Maybe the orbs will appear again in another city or country, or perhaps this event will just remain another mystery waiting to be solved.

The suspected object was spotted hovering above the buildings during a live broadcast of an Argentinian noontime TV news station; Todo Noticias.

This intriguing moment prompted sky watchers to burst with excitement as they witness a once in a lifetime experience, witnessing a mysterious “UFO” that appeared during a live TV broadcast,
The what appeared to be a saucer-shaped flying object passes by the skyline as the Todo Notocias (TN), an Argentinian TV station, televised its noontime broadcast.

The three reporters did not seem to notice the silver UFO as it hovered above the buildings in Buenos Aires as they present the headlines of the day.

The YouTube recording gives the impression that it was taken from a rooftop camera, with the incident prompting wild speculation on the internet.

The Mysterious Universe website excitedly reported: “How can newscasters who get paid to report the news not see the UFO flying behind them???”

“That’s what a lot of people are asking after viewing a YouTube video of a news program in Argentina that shows a large UFO flying across the sky behind the three seemingly oblivious newscasters. What happened?”

It added: “The disc-shaped UFO crosses the entire screen, at one point passing behind a multi-story building.

“It appears to be much larger than a drone and traveling too fast to be an odd-shaped blimp, airship or balloon.

“While the quality is good, it’s not clear enough for the magnification to help make a positive identification of the craft.”

The website claimed that it was the second time wherein a UFO sighting occurred during a South American broadcast in less than a month after a TV camera crew from Peru documented a purple craft airborne in the sky.

But before other UFO enthusiasts could get too thrilled about the most recent UFO sighting, TN confessed that it was a hoax – and the object that what could have been a UFO was just an added digital trickery.

In fact, the TN released an unedited footage of the original news broadcast and that there was no UFO or any other suspected object in the background of the TV News reporters.

Even though TN station does needs not to give a justification as to who is held accountable for the spreading of the hoax, they released a statement on their own website stating: “The truth is that the video was edited and the UFO was added digitally.

“Here we show you the original video, without editing, with the full minute from 12:24, the moment in which someone wanted to fabricate a UFO on the air at Todo Noticias.”

This amazing new video shows 3 mysterious glowing orbs in the clear blue skies above the city of Cordoba, Argentina.
