Conspiracy Theorists Claim UFO Prevents Huge Impact Of A Meteor To Earth

Friendly aliens might have just saved the Earth from a destructive meteor strike, claimed conspiracy theorists.

The theory surfaced after a released footage showed a fireball exploding in the skies of Maine, New England in the U.S.

The natural phenomena show an apparent second, smaller object entering the atmosphere of the Earth during the incident on Tuesday.

The presence of a second object was confirmed by the American Meteor Society (AMS) but said that it was just a smaller meteor fragment as it broke up in Earth’s atmosphere.

Despite the AMS explanation, most diehard alien chasers still thought an alien craft was dispatched to destroy the meteor, which believed to prevent an impact.

The theory further claimed that galactic patrols might be looking over humanity as these space beings know that people on Earth still don’t have the technology to deal with comet strikes or asteroid, which could wipe out the entire planet.

The fireball was witnessed over Canada, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Vermont, New Jersey, and New Hampshire.

YouTube channel Nemesis Maturity uploaded the video that showed two objects – one seemingly followed the other.

The second, smaller object seemed to strike the bigger one prior to a big explosion.

The video was from a security camera installed at Burlington International Airport in South Burlington, Vermont.

LHC Atom Smasher Opens Quantum Physics Floodgates

The Large Hadron Collider is the most complex machine ever built by humankind and it is probing into deep quantum unknown, revealing never-before-seen detail in the matter and forces that underpin the foundations of our universe. In its most basic sense, the LHC is a time machine; with each relativistic proton-on-proton collision, the particle accelerator is revealing energy densities and states of matter that haven't existed in our universe since the moment after the Big Bang, nearly 14 billion years ago.

The collider, which is managed by the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) is located near Geneva, Switzerland.

With the countless billions of collisions between ions inside the LHC's detectors comes a firehose of data that needs to be recorded, deciphered and stored. Since the 27 kilometer (17 mile) circumference ring of supercooled electromagnets started smashing protons together once more after its winter break, LHC scientists are expecting a lot more data this year than what the experiment produced in 2015.

"The LHC is running extremely well," said CERN Director for Accelerators and Technology Frédérick Bordry in a statement. "We now have an ambitious goal for 2016, as we plan to deliver around six times more data than in 2015."

And this data will contain ever more detailed information about the elusive Higgs boson that was discovered in 2012 and possibly even details of "new" or "exotic" physics that physicists could spend decades trying to understand. Key to the LHC's aims is to attempt to understand what dark matter is and why the universe is composed of matter and not antimatter.

In fact, there was already a buzz surrounding an unexpected signal that was recorded in 2015 that could represent something amazing, but as is the mantra of any scientist: more data is needed. And it looks like LHC physicists are about to be flooded with the stuff.

Central to the LHC's recent upgrades is the sheer density of accelerated "beams" of protons that are accelerated to close to the speed of light. The more concentrated or focused the beams, the more collisions can be achieved. More collisions means more data and the more likelihood of revealing new and exciting things about our universe. This year, LHC engineers hope to magnetically squeeze the beams of protons when they collide inside the detectors, generating up to one billion proton collisions per second.

Add these advances in extreme beam control with the fact the LHC will be running at a record-breaking collision energy of 13 TeV and we have the unprecedented opportunity to make some groundbreaking discoveries.

"In 2015, we opened the doors to a completely new landscape with unprecedented energy. Now we can begin to explore this landscape in depth," said CERN Director for Research and Computing, Eckhard Elsen.

The current plan is to continue proton-proton collisions for six months and then carry out a four-week run using much heavier lead ions.

So the message is clear: Hold onto your hats. We're in for an incredible year of discovery that could confirm or deny certain models of our universe and revel something completely unexpected and, possibly, something very exotic.

Turkish Airlines pilots saw a UFO on day of MS804 crash

Turkish Airlines pilots said an unidentified object with green lights passed above their plane on Thursday, the day of the loss of the flight from Paris to Cairo.

The bizarre sighting was just around 350 miles from the last recorded radar observation of the MS804 flight above the Mediterranean.

According to local reports the two pilots reported the inexplicable sighting to the Air Traffic Control Centre at Atatürk Airport, Istanbul.

The pair reportedly said: “An unidentified object with green lights passed 2 to 3,000 feet above us. 

“Then it disappeared all of a sudden. We are guessing that it was a UFO.”

A Man In Washington Reports Military Helicopter Escorting A UFO

A military helicopter reportedly escorted a cigar-shaped UFO near to ground level, according to a witness at Battle Ground in Washington.

The incident that happened at 11:20 p.m. on March 21, 2016, was reported to MUFON the following day and can be accessed in Case 75344 from the organization’s witness reporting database.

The reporting witness was in the backyard and heard a sound of an incoming flying object, presumably a Chinook helicopter, nearby. It flew close to the ground as it passed into view. Ahead of it was an apparent dark moving craft, according to the witness.

Though the witness admitted that observing both was very short, he could make out a cigar shape of the UFO, which made no sound at all. It appeared to the witness that the helicopter flying close to it was an escort of the mysterious, silent aerial thing.

The witness thinks there has been UFO activity for many years in the area.  The witness claimed that he has prior reports from the place and also haven’t mentioned other unusual sightings in the area. He suggested that UFO watchers should visit Battle Ground, Washington.

Washington Assistant State Director AletaDeBee investigated the case and closed it as unknown.

In her report, DeBee wrote that the UFO and military aircraft were about the same size, speed, and altitude – 2 to 300 feet off the ground. The known aerial object could be a Chinook helicopter as it had two props, DeBee added.

The UFO was in front of the chopper and not slung underneath, but moved as fast as the aircraft without making any sound and was not lighted. The investigator concluded that this was unknown but did not rule out the fact that this could be a military vehicle not known to her at this time.

NORAD And The UFO Smokescreen  - Part 1

About a year ago, I took the plunge and begun the near-impossible task of ascertaining what role joint US/Canadian North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD) has maintained regarding the UFO matter. Sure enough, just as I had suspected, there is a paper trail dating back decades, and much of it makes for rather awkward reading. Furthermore, I have been working with David Charmichael, a brilliant British citizen who has been aggressively asking NORAD, and its parent agency Northern Command (NORTHCOM), one of ten Unified Combatant Commands organised directly under the Secretary of Defence and Joint Chiefs of Staff, for some honest answers regarding the oddities they track on vast radar systems, and other UFO-related matters. Together he and I have discovered much.

For those that don’t know, NORAD, as its current Fact Sheet states, is:

         “...charged with the missions of aerospace warning and aerospace control for North America. Aerospace warning includes the detection, validation, and warning of attack against North America whether by aircraft, missiles, or space vehicles, through mutual support arrangements with other commands. Aerospace control includes ensuring air sovereignty and air defence of the airspace of Canada and the United States.”. 

Put simply, NORAD uses myriad primary and secondary radars to build up an integrated, recognised air and aerospace picture, even out into sub-space, of what is flying around about the USA and Canada. NORAD has generally maintained that the only “UFOs” they detect and track are simply strayed aircraft, hostile formations of Russian combat aircraft and such. NORAD do not have any interest, or, any knowledge, of  our sort of “UFO” events.
Unfortunately for NORAD, however, if one goes by what the contents of their own declassified paperwork says, the overwhelming evidence is that they have not been honest, and this dishonesty has been going on since the 1950’s. But first, let’s see what official concoctions NORAD has come up with over the long years.
The Official Stance         
In a reply letter dated 10th November, 1975, Colonel Terrence C. James, NORAD Headquarters, Ent Air Force Base, to researcher Robert Todd, it was stated:
“…this command has no present activity in investigating UFOs, nor does any area of the United States government that I’m aware of.”
Another letter from NORAD HQ, dated 28^th, November, 1975, also to Robert Todd, said:
“We do not undertake investigative measures… …our interests are satisfied in near real time, and no formal documentation is created by this command.”
In a 19 December 1995 letter to researcher Dr. Armen Victorian, NORAD’s Directorate of Information clarified their terminology, while distancing themselves, as one would expect, from the core UFO issue:
“Historically, the term UFO was used by the Air Force starting in 1947 and ending in 1969 with the shelving of the Project Blue Book. We all know what the term UFO means, we just don’t use it... …The specific term “UFO” is not used by this command even though you could say that this term would equate to Unknown Track Report: either an Uncorrelated Event or an Unknown Track, since an unidentified flying object could be considered either.”
These official statements may sound legitimate at face value, but, in fact, they fly in the face of various documents begrudgingly released by the US military over five long decades. 


For Restricted Readership        
Since 1954, the “Joint Army Navy Air Force Protocol 146” (JANAP 146) procedures, promulgated by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, have issued a series of “Communications Instructions for Vital Intelligence Sightings”, more commonly referred to as simply “CIRVIS”. The timely reporting of UFO’s by militaryand civilian pilots, as well as other professionals, is clearly laid down in these CIRVIS procedures, and, first on the addressing distribution list is none other than the Commander-in-Chief, NORAD (CINCNORAD). For example, the February 1959 version of JANAP CIRVIS procedures, published as JANAP 146(D), states, in part, under the “Information to be Reported and When to Report” section on Page 8:
(1)  While airborne and from land based observers.

(a) Hostile or unidentified single aircraft or formations of aircraft which appear to be directed against the United States or Canada or their forces.

(b) Missiles.

(c) Unidentified flying objects.

(d) Hostile or unidentified submarines.

(e) Hostile or unidentified group or groups of military surface vessels…”

(f) Individual surface vessels, submarines, or aircraft of unconventional design, or engaged in suspicious activity or observed in a location or on a course which may be interpreted as constituting a threat to the United States, Canada or their forces.

(g) Any unexplained or unusual activity which may indicate a possible attack against or through Canada or the United States, including the presence of any unidentified or other suspicious ground parties in the Polar Region or other remote or sparsely populated areas.”
Note, that “Unidentified Flying Objects” is listed as distinct from single aircraft, formations of aircraft, missiles, etc. Below is an image of this page from JANAP 146(D) CIRVIS. 

Of even more interest are these two procedural statements, on Page 12:

“c. A post-landing report is desired immediately after landing by CINCNORAD or RCAF-ADC to amplify the airborne report(s).”
And,
“(1) Post-landing reports should be addressed to CINCNORAD, Ent AFB, Colorado Springs, Colorado, or, RCAF-ADC, St. Hubert, Quebec…”
CINCNORAD is merely Commander-in-Chief, NORAD, and, RCAF-ADC is Royal Canadian Air Force, Air Defence Command. Below is an image of the page. 

 Thus it is established that NORAD, even so long ago, was very much concerning itself with serious UFO sightings made by US or Canadian forces, and any claims to the contrary are absolute nonsense.
Now, I can already hear the “But, that was in 1959! What about something current?!”.
The 2008 “Air Force Instruction 10-206 Operational Reporting” instruction contains the second most current CIRVIS sightings procedures, which still include “Unidentified Flying Objects” as separate from aircraft, missiles, etc. On Page 36, it is stated, with regards to the addressee of such “vital” reports:
“5.3. Submitted To:
5.3.1. Airborne reports: US, Canadian military, or civilian communications facility.
5.3.2. Post-landing reports: Commander, North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), Cheyenne Mt, Colorado, or HQ Northern NORAD Region, North Bay, Ontario, Canada, whichever is more convenient. If landing outside Canadian or US territories, submit reports through the nearest Canadian military or diplomatic representative or US.”
So much for NORAD not being in the US military’s “UFO loop”. 


“Unknown Objects”           
It isn’t just the above mentioned CIRVIS procedures which raise questions. NORAD’s Operational Instruction Index 0-2, coded “RCCOI 0-2” and dated 7^th of March, 1978, inventories a number of instructional publications vital to the overall mission success of NORAD Regional and Sector Operations Centers. Page 2 of the index lists a 9th of May, 1977 instruction titled “Possible Unknowns, Unknowns, Special Tracks and Unknown Objects Actions”. The  Below the list is imaged. 

There a numerous such NORAD indexes that contain references to classified publications., and through diligent research, some of these publications have been released. The above mentioned instruction, coded 55-8, contains a section, on Page 6, titled “Unknown Objects”, and states, on part:
“...Unknown object reporting will be accomplished using the same procedures as for Unknown Track reporting. NORAD Form 61 will be used even though such observations may not result in track establishment.”

This makes very clear that “unknown objects” are of concern to NORAD, despite what the United States government has ceaselessly said to the public. The page in question is imaged below.

         While these procedural and instructional records are significant, there is far more material which catches NORAD out red-handed being involved with localized and serious UFO events. In my next post, Part 2 of this series, I will be highlighting such material which provides ample evidence that NORAD know far more about the UFO issue than they are prepared to discuss.

NORAD And The UFO Smokescreen - Part 3

This blogpost is the third in a series which aims to link, through official and documented record, the UFO matter with the huge North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD). For over 50 years, NORAD’s stance on so-called “UFOs” – and I don’t mean merely stray aircraft – is that they know nothing, see nothing and hold nothing on record. However, myriad US military documents prove that NORAD has not been entirely honest. In this post I will highlight two especially unusual occasions where they were certainly involved. But, beforehand, if my readers need to catch up, I have linked is Part 1 and Part 2.


UFOs Are Tracked On NORAD Systems: And That’s Fact        
Now down to business. A little known fact concerning the infamous Japan Airlines sighting in 1986 is that NORAD almost definitely played a role in the extraordinary event, completely aside from the FAA and even the USAF. For those that do not know about this case, I will only briefly summarise it. On November 17^th, 1986, Japan Airlines (JAL) cargo flight 1628 was flying at nearly 900 kilometres an hour over Alaska. Just after sunset, the three crew witnessed a series of UFO encounters that last for 31 minutes, and, the entire fiasco was watched on both FAA primary radar, and, USAF primary radar. The case made headlines around the world. In 2000, John Callahan, Chief of the FAA’s Accidents, Evaluations and Investigations division confirmed the seriousness of the event, and the involvement of the Central Intelligence Agency and the President’s Scientific Staff. He also came forward with more FAA evidence, on top of the hundreds of pages of official documentation already released.
 NORAD’s involvement has been overlooked in this case, I believe. At the heart of the matter, we know for an absolute fact that both the primary radar at the FAA’s Anchorage Air Route Traffic Control Center (AARTCC), and the primary radar at the USAF’s Elmendorf Air Force Base Regional Operations Command Center (ROCC) picked up “surge primary returns” next to the JAL flight. As these returns were being watched on the screens, the crew were discussing with the FAA, over radio, the worrisome traffic they had around them. It’s a classic radar-visual case, pure and simply. The actual voice tapes of this event are available, and one can actually hear the gravity of the situation in the voices of the pilot, as well as those of the air traffic controllers at FAA AARTCC and USAF ROCC. The important thing here is that there may have been, in some no-doubt complex way, a third set of air traffic controllers, using a third system, watching the event. In the official FAA voice tape transcript the USAF’s ROCC controller says, at 5:38:51:
“Ah, I’m gonna talk to my other radar man here has gotta, he’s got some other equipment watching this aircraft.”
 The passage of speech is somewhat broken, but he clearly says “my other radar man here” and“some other equipment”. Considering it is a USAF controller who was talking, one can’t help but question who “my other radar man” could be, and, what “other equipment” was “watching” the UFOs around the JAL flight? It turns out it was probably NORAD. Elmendorf Air Force Base had, in the 1980’s, a more classified system operated by NORAD, which complimented the USAF hardware. The two merged in Year 2000, but, back in 1986, NORAD’s presence wasn’t exactly advertised at the time of the JAL 1628 UFO sightings. In fact, when one reads that dismal FAA paperwork on the incident, even the USAF’s involvement, let alone NORAD’s, was barely mentioned, despite the fact that they were watching the same thing on their screens, and stating such to the FAA controllers and the JAL pilots.
Whatever the exact situation, speculation that NORAD was involved in this event is strengthened when one reads a particular FAA document from the FAA’s JAL 1628 report. After one of the post-landing interviews between the JAL crew and FAA Special Agents James Derry and Ronald Mickle, Special Agent Derry wrote a one page statement. The final paragraph states:
“Upon completion of my discussion with the crew, I called Captain Stevens (Duty Officer to NORAD) and asked if he had any questions other than what I had asked. He said he had no other questions, but they also showed two targets on radar (one was JAL). He stated that they would give all data to Intelligence in the morning. I then asked Bobby Lamkin by phone if the Air Force was holding the data and he said yes”
Below is an image of this document. 

NORAD On Alert          
Another incident where NORAD paperwork connects them, very strongly I might add, to serious UFO events, is the extraordinary October-November, 1975 “over flights” of a dozen US military bases by unknown aircraft, variously described as mundane helicopters right through to totally unfamiliar and oddly performing craft that appeared repeatedly on ground-based radar and utterly eluded USAF authorities for weeks. These events were highlighted in Barry Greenwood and Lawrence Fawcett’s game-changing 1984 book “Clear Intent”, later published with the title “UFO Cover Up: What the Government Won’t Say”. I will not even attempt here to give an overview of the wave of UFO activity that occurred at that time. What does need to be said though is that hundreds and hundreds of pages of official documents were released from nearly two dozen commands and agencies within the US military throughout 1976 to 1983. Barry Greenwood and Robert Todd accessed most of them, and Barry fondly tells me how stunned he was – time after time – that such raw intelligence and front-line reporting was being furnished to him. These researchers cannot be thanked enough for their work.

Amongst those piles of gold, was a four page release of “incident” summaries extracted from both the NORAD Command Directors Log and the 24^th NORAD Region Senior Director’s Log. The time period for released material was from the 29^th of October to the 10^th of November, 1975. The actual documents were released to researcher Todd Zechel on the 4^th of October, 1977. Despite the fact these are quite well known, I wish to highlight some of the contents, and provide imagery of the offending pages. The first page details various worrisome intrusions by “unknown helicopters” over Loring Air Force Base, Maine, Wurtsmith Air Force Base, Michigan, and Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana – all of which maintained mission-ready nuclear weapons.

See below. 

The stakes are raised on page 2 of the release where the 24th NORAD Region Senior Director's Log (Malmstrom AFB, Montana) The most alarming incident summaries are probably:
“7 Nov 75 (1035Z) - Received a call from the 341st Strategic Air Command Post (SAC CP), saying that the following missile locationsreported seeing a large red to orange to yellow object:  M-1, L-3, LIMA and L-6.  The general object location would be 10 miles south of Moore, Montana, and 20 miles east of Buffalo, Montana.  Commander and Deputy for Operations (DO) informed.”
And, for the actual word “UFO”,
“7 Nov 75 (1429Z) - From SAC CP:  As the sun rose, the UFOs disappeared.  Commander and DO notified.”

         On page 3, the continuing NORAD summaries mention the term “UFO” five times, plus radar tracks of “unknowns”, “objects”, plus the inspection of such events by fighter jets, which met with failure.

The final page summarises a continuation of similar events that kept plaguing nuclear-weapon equipped bases along the US-Canadian untill mid-November. One piece of text, which brought Minot Air Force Base into the spectacle states:

“10 Nov 75 (1125Z) - UFO sighting reported by Minot Air Force Station, a bright  star-like object in the west, moving east, about the size of a car.  First seen approximately 1015Z.     Approximately 1120Z, the object passed over the radar station, 1,000 feet to 2,000 feet high, no noise heard.  Three people from the site or local area saw the object.  NCOC notified.”

Finally, this 4 page NORAD release was finalised with some interesting statements which eluded to more material that related to the over flights of these bases, and, thus, Todd Zechel's FOI request. The text indicates that more documents of NORAD providence are in existence, but that they are not fit for release to the public due to legal exemptions. Specifically:
“2.  HQ USAF/DADF also forwarded a copy of NORAD document for a review for possible downgrade and release.  We have determined the document if properly and currently classified and is exempt from disclosure under Public Law 90-23, 5 USC 552b(1).”
These pages were signed off by one Colonel Terrance C. James, USAF, Director of Administration. The USAF and NORAD run administrative and functional operations hand-in-hand, thus, a USAF Colonel was able to clear this material for release. Also, aside from the above releases, there were actually a great deal more documents of NORAD providence, or, that mentioned NORAD, released to the likes of Barry Greenwood, Robert Todd, Lawrence Fawcett, Todd Zechel and others in that extraordinary period of FOI openness. In one, which Barry Greenwood has on file, the Commander-in-Chief of NORAD sent a four-part message to various NORAD units on November 11, 1975 summarizing the events:
“Since 28 Oct 75 numerous reports of suspicious objects have been received at the NORAD CU; reliable military personnel at Loring AFB, Maine, Wurtsmith AFB, Michigan, Malmstrom AFB, Mt, Minot AFB, ND, and Canadian Forces Station, Falconbridge, Ontario, Canada have visually sighted suspicious objects.”
Regardless of who released what, clearly any NORAD Log Extracts that contain the phraseology like  “UFOs”, radar tracks of low-flying “unknowns”, “objects” and “unknown helicopters” indeed fall within our area of interest. NORAD, as well as other US military branches, stated that these incidents were “isolated”, but even the most bone-headed skeptic would not accept that. In my next blog post I will be discussing more about NORAD's capabilities and mission, and the current and ongoing efforts by myself and UK researcher David Charmichael to get to the bottom of how NORAD currently handles the UFO matter. This UFO is hovering low over Lake Tahoe and it easy blends into the shadows of the tree line, so its no wonder he didn't see it right away. Lake Tahoe has many mysteries about its deep, cold water. This UFO probably came from below the lake.

I remember famed oceanographer Jacques Cousteau once said to have had a brush with something horrific in a deepwater dive at Tahoe in the mid-1970s. "The world isn't ready for what was down there," he stated. Cousteau never released any photographs or data from the dive, adding to the mystery and legend. But I have long believed that he may have found alien structures deep below its surface.

This is cool. This week in a small village in Argentina, residents witnessed a UFO that landed in the area and an alien was seen walking about. This is highly unusual and has not happened very often except in secluded areas with small populations. Last time was at an elementary school in Africa. 

For aliens to risk their safety by walking around and examining the area, there must be something important about to happen in that area. Aliens live extended lives, even some that are immortal, but less they die in an accident. They calculate the risks and if the risk is too high, they don't do it. For them to do this, something more important than their own lives was at stake here. Otherwise they could have landed in a wooded area of a mountain hundreds of miles from the nearest human, but they didn't. They chose this village. Maybe an ancient clan of their species once had a base far below ground in the area and they are seeking its location. Thousand of years can cause them to forget exact locations.

Argentina: Locals Allegedly Witness UFO and Alien in El Dorado In the city of Santa Cruz, residents of the El Dorado District, El Bastión sector, claim having seen a UFO, alleging that an extraterrestrial creature. They believe the entity descended from its "craft" and that it made an effort to get back on board when detected by locals. The event took place at 10:00 in the evening. Local residents went as far as to note that the entity climbed through the trees. Students manage to photograph a gleaming light over their neighborhood. "Three students," alleges the news report, "were witnesses to the sighting from EL Dorado as they returned home from school. It all began with a bright light in the sky, when the unimaginable occurred." "Something came down, straight down," explains a female witness. "A light came straight down, more or less, and they say it lost itself in that tree. It tried to get into that house over there." Another woman adds: "A very loud sound was heard. All the signals (sic) went out. There was no way to record that sound. Suddenly it fell down and disappeared. I don't know what it could have been." "It happened at ten o'clock,"continues the narration, "local residents say they saw a UFO in the sky, which crashed on Calle #2 of the district. They even described a strange being that climbed up a tree. (A child can be heard, saying, "some eyes looked at me!"). "It was small and gooey," adds another young woman, speaking to a reporter. "It extended its arms and climbed a tree. That's when all the neighbors came out, but nothing could be found." The owner of the property remarks: "They said it had long fingers, and climbed right over there," gesturing at her fence.

Astronomers Capture Image Of Universe 13 Billion Years Ago, “Where No Human Has Seen Before”

An international team of astronomers at the Keck Observatory in Hawaii have confirmed their observation of a galaxy from 13 billion years ago, offering insight on the ionization of hydrogen gas, a cosmic phenomenon that began the birth of the known universe.

A team of scientists just captured an image of the faintest galaxy ever observed. It is considered to be a toddler in the aged (and rather senior) universe. The image was captured at the W.M. Keck Observatory in Hawaii, and the study is published in The Astrophysical Journal Letters.

Using the data from the previous observations, and an optical phenomenon known as  gravitational lensing, in which the gravity of massive objects between the observer and the subject (like a supermassive black hole drifting through the cosmos between Earth and a distant galaxy) magnifies the view of the subject.

In this case, the galaxy was found to be hiding behind another. The experts assert that without this phenomenon, it would’ve been impossible to see the galaxy at all.

The galaxy under scrutiny is relatively young, estimated to be from 13 billion years ago. The team infers that the system has a very low stellar mass, one that is just “one percent of one percent of the Milky Way.” Nonetheless, its discovery is providing relevant insights about the origins of the cosmos.

In a press release, lead author of the study Kuang-Han Huang says the galaxy exists at the end of the reionization epoch of the universe, a time when the hydrogen gases spewed out from the Big Bang were transitioning from neutral to ionized. This process is when the stars lit up for the first time.

“It’s a very, very small galaxy, and at such a great distance, it’s a clue in answering one of the fundamental questions astronomy is trying to understand: What is causing the hydrogen gas at the very beginning of the universe to go from neutral to ionized about 13 billion years ago,” saya Keck astronomer Marc Kassis. “That’s when stars turned on and matter became more complex.”

Mysterie van het "Egyptische Atlantis": tentoonstelling toont gezonken stad die 1300 jaar op zeebodem lag - HLN.be

VIDEO Meer dan 1300 jaar was het niet meer dan een legende: een gezonken Egyptische stad die ergens op de bodem van de Middellandse Zee verborgen moest liggen. Het "Egyptische Atlantis" werd ze in verhalen genoemd. Ooit moest Thonis-Heracleion de belangrijkste Egyptische havenstad zijn geweest. Tot een natuurramp de stad -en al haar monumenten- deed zinken. De legende blijkt nu écht te zijn. Een Franse onderwaterarcheoloog herontdekte de stad in 2000, en een prestigieuze tentoonstelling in het British Museum toont voor het eerst de schatten die de "duikende" Indiana Jones kon blootleggen. HLN was dit weekend bij de pas geopende tentoonstelling.

Het is een indrukwekkend zicht, helemaal in het begin van de tentoonstelling: het vijf meter hoge standbeeld van de Egyptische god Hapy dat bezoekers verwelkomt. En toch is het niet het beeld zelf, maar de foto's en video's ernaast die het meest tot de verbeelding spreken. Op één foto is te zien hoe duikers voorzichtig riemen aanbrengen rond het nog half in het slib verzonken standbeeld. Een andere video toont hoe het daarna met een open vrachtwagen door de straten van Caïro wordt gereden. Na meer dan 1300 jaar op de zeebodem, voor het eerst terug aan wal. Maar er zijn ook foto's van een duiker die met zijn zaklamp hiërogliefen probeert te ontcijferen op een gigantisch stenen tablet. Of hoe het team een Egyptische tempel ontdekt op de bodem. Zo krijg je ook als bezoeker het Indiana-Jones-gevoel dat de onderwaterarcheologen gehad moeten hebben toen ze voor het eerst hun ontdekking deden. Op een oppervlakte van verschillende vierkante kilometer vonden Fransman Franck Goddio en zijn team van duikers een enorme verzameling sfinksen, gigantische standbeelden, gouden ringen, delicate bronzen beeldjes en de grootste verzameling Egyptische boten (69 scheepswrakken en 700 ankers) ooit ontdekt. Nog maar 5% van alles wat op de bodem ligt, is al bovengehaald. Maar de tentoonstelling toont een imposante eerste selectie.

Weggezonken

Uit de vondsten achterhaalden wetenschappers ook waarom Thonis-Heracleion verzwolgen werd door de zee. Het proces heet "bodemvervloeiing": de aarde gaat zich plots gedragen als een vloeistof. Een fenomeen dat meestal veroorzaakt wordt door een aardbeving. Dat blijkt ook bij de Egyptische stad het geval te zijn geweest. In de tweede eeuw voor Christus werd het gebied geteisterd door drie aardbevingen en overstromingen. Dat zette de bodemvervloeiing in gang die de stad langzaam deed wegzinken. Thonis-Heracleion verloor daardoor al snel zijn prominente status, maar een kleine groep bewoners probeerde er nog te blijven wonen. Tot uiteindelijk in 800 na christus de volledige stad kopje onder ging en al snel enkel nog in verhalen herinnerd werd. Om uiteindelijk pas deze eeuw terug boven water te worden gehaald.

Belangrijkste onderwaterarcheoloog

Verantwoordelijk daarvoor is de Franse onderwaterarcheoloog Franck Goddio (68). Hij deed in de Golf van Aboukir onderzoek naar Franse oorlogsschepen die in de 18de eeuw gezonken moesten zijn, toen hij per ongeluk op de archeologische schat stootte. Goddio geldt nu als één van de belangrijkste onderwaterarcheologen van deze eeuw. Naast deze vondst ontdekte hij eerder al het vlaggenschip van Napoleon Bonaparte, en verschillende andere belangrijke scheepswrakken. 

De tentoonstelling is nog tot 27 november te zien in het British Museum in Londen.

Werd Mars miljarden jaren geleden getroffen door 120 meter hoge tsunami's? - HLN.be

WETENSCHAP De planeet Mars is miljarden jaren geleden mogelijk getroffen door twee enorme tsunami's. De golven zouden 120 meter hoog zijn geweest en honderden kilometers landinwaarts zijn gekomen. De muur van water zou zijn veroorzaakt door de inslag van zogenoemde meteoroïden, die tientallen kilometers grote kraters achterlieten.

Mogelijke sporen van de twee mega-tsunami's zijn gevonden op een vlakte op het noordelijk halfrond van Mars. En misschien zijn er nog wel meer tsunami's geweest. Mars heeft lang geleden stromend water op zijn oppervlak gehad. Wetenschappers hebben daar in de afgelopen jaren steeds meer bewijs voor gevonden.

De eerste inslag zou keien het land op hebben geslingerd. Toen de golven zich terugtrokken richting de zee, zou het water kanalen hebben gevormd. In de tijd erna bleek de kustlijn veranderd en werd het klimaat aanzienlijk koeler. Miljoenen jaren later, bij de tweede impact, zou vooral ijs zijn verplaatst. Het pekel daarin is mogelijk nog terug te vinden in het oppervlak van de planeet. Het pekelwater kan misschien ook duidelijk maken of er ooit leven mogelijk is geweest op Mars.

Het onderzoek is vandaag gepubliceerd in het wetenschapsblad Nature Scientific Reports.

New Study suggests Alien Civilizations may number in TRILLIONS

Rejoice Alien hunters, the possibility that Earth is not the only planet inhabited by an intelligent civilization has gained more credibility thanks to a brand new study that coincides with NASA’s recent planetary discoveries. The new study, published in the Journal Astrobiology proposes that more planets in our galaxy harbor advanced civilizations than anyone previously imagined.

“We really do know that pretty much every star in the sky hosts at least one planet,” said astronomer Adam Frank co-author of the study.

Woodruff Sullivan and Adam Frank looked at NASA’s recent discoveries of potentially habitable worlds and considered the odds whether sophisticated civilizations could have inhabited them or still do.

“What we showed was the ‘floor’ on the probability for a civilization to form on any randomly chosen planet,” Frank, a University of Rochester physics and astronomy professor, told The Huffington Post in an email. “If we are the only civilization in cosmic history, then that what we calculated is the actual probability nature has set. But if the real probability is higher than that floor, then civilizations have happened before.” 

According to Frank, the potential number of planets orbiting their host star within a habitable distance is staggering.

This raises hopes that one of those planets might host alien life, and with a bit of luck, we even might discover an advanced alien civilization inhabiting one of those planets.

“Even if you are pretty pessimistic and think that you’d have to search through 100 billion (habitable zone) planets before you found one where a civilization developed, then there have still been a trillion civilizations over cosmic history!” Frank wrote. “When I think about that, my mind reels — even if there is just a one in a 100 billion chance of evolution creating exo-civilizations, the universe still has made so many of them that we are swamped by histories other than our own.”

The Drake equation

One of the most famous equations dealing with the possibility of Alien life existing in the universe is the Drake Equation. It was created by astronomer Frank Drake in 1961, and it estimates the number of planets that may be home to advanced alien civilizations with the ability to communicate with other civilizations in the cosmos.

However, Frank and Sullivan modified the Drake equation implementing new data into it. Since the Drake equation analyzes the possibility od advanced civilizations existing in the Milky Way, the equation proposed by Frank and Sullivan calculate the possible number of advanced alien civilizations that have existed in our galaxy throughout the whole ‘known’ history of the universe.

Writing in the Astrobiology study, Frank and Sullivan state:

“ Recent advances in exoplanet studies provide strong constraints on all astrophysical terms in the Drake equation. Using these and modifying the form and intent of the Drake equation, we set a firm lower bound on the probability that one or more technological species have evolved anywhere and at any time in the history of the observable Universe.” (source)

The two researchers write about what they call: “the cosmic frequency of technological species.”

“The universe is more than 13 billion years old,” Sullivan, of the astronomy department and astrobiology program at the University of Washington, said in a statement. “That means that even if there have been 1,000 civilizations in our own galaxy, if they live only as long as we have been around — roughly 10,000 years — then all of them are likely already extinct. And others won’t evolve until we are long gone.

“For us to have much chance of finding another ‘contemporary’ active technological civilization, on average they must last much longer than our present lifetime,” Sullivan said. (source)

We have searched for traces of advanced alien civilizations, in hopes of finding out we are not alone for decades.

“With so many stars and planets filling the cosmos, it boggles the mind to think that we’re the only clever life to have made an appearance,” SETI Institute senior astronomer Seth Shostak told HuffPost in an email. “Frank and Sullivan use new research indicating that roughly one in five stars is orbited by a planet that could nurture biology. After that, it’s just a matter of counting up the tally of stars in the visible universe, and saying that — with all the suitable real estate that’s out there, if we’re the only place with intelligent life, then we’ve really won the mother of all lotteries.”

However, Shostak tells us not to be overly optimistic or pessimistic about the SETI Institutes search for intelligent signals from our cosmic neighbors.

“The odds that no one is out there are very, very small. It’s a bit like an ant coming out of its hive, seeing the enormous amount of real estate stretching in all directions and deciding that, if its home is the only ant hill, then its existence is a near-miracle,” said Shostak in an interview with HuffPost.

Experts say it’s too late to hide from Aliens

According to experts, we need to think to be more cautious about the messages we send to space in hopes of contacting our cosmic neighbors.

It’s too late to conceal ourselves in the universe say, researchers.

Scientists believe that if there is an alien civilization out there somewhere, they most likely already know we exist. That’s according to claims made by a group of researchers who think we need to be more careful next time when we send out messages out into space hoping that one day, our galactic neighbors will respond.

In an interview, Douglas Vakoch, president of the San Francisco-based non-profit Meti (Messaging Extraterrestrial Intelligence) International said that the current signals that are being sent into space are far too simplistic. In fact, the messages might be considered as primitive by any alien civilization that intercepts the messages sent by earthlings, and therefore may not be easy to interpret the way we intended it.

“It’s too late to conceal ourselves in the universe, so we should decide how we want to represent ourselves, Vakoch told Forbes. Extraterrestrials may be waiting for a clear indication from us that we’re ready to start talking.”

That’s why his team at METI International have kickstarted a new campaign that aims to develop messages for extraterrestrial civilizations that are both informative and provocative.

Their plans are big, in fact, they want to send out the first radio transmission by the end of 2018, emphasizing on messages that will reveal basic mathematical and scientific concepts, which any alien civilization in the cosmos should be able to interpret.

‘It would be ideal to use a powerful transmitter like those used for planetary radar studies, such as Arecibo Observatory,’ said Vakoch.

Actually in the past, some similar signals have already been sent out into space, with perhaps the most famous one being sent out by the Arecibo radio telescope in 1974.

The binary digits in the message reveal information about our star system, the human species, and Earth’s biochemistry. But according to Vakoch, we need to include an instruction manual so to speak, so that extraterrestrials can decode the messages we send out more easily.

„There are a lot of hidden assumptions embedded in the ways we portray three-dimensional objects on two-dimensional surfaces,’ said Vakoch. Even if aliens use pictures, they may use a different set of conventions to map solid objects onto flat surfaces.“

During his interview with Fobes, Vakoch said that the messages we send out need to be more detailed. Instead of sending only a few details on the biochemistry of our planet, we should include the entire Periodic Table of Elements.

However, not everyone is so optimistic about searching for aliens and hoping that one day, they contacted us or visited Earth.

In February, a leading scientists at Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) commented that if aliens did visit Earth, they would take control thanks to their advanced technology, giving them an edge and ultimately leading them to make the rules on Earth.

Astronomer and co-founder of the Seti Institute Jill Tarter told TechCrunch: ‘If they showed up on our doorstep that means they have technologies that are considerably advanced with respect to ours. And because of that, they’re going to be the ones that set the rules.’

However, there are hopes that Aliens Species are peaceful and intend no harm. She explained that if such an advanced alien species had developed the technology to travel long distances across space, they must have learned to behave in a peaceful manner.

Interestingly, according to NASA’s chief scientist Ellen Stofan, it’s very likely that in the next 20 to 30 years, we could find evidence of alien life forms.

The discovery of the century: Have researchers found the mythical Hall of Records?

It is said that the Hall of Records holds the key to understanding our civilization and real history of humanity.

Mythologically, it is said to be a library buried somewhere in Egypt, and many people believe it could be located under the enigmatic Sphinx of Giza, watching tall and proud over the Pyramids of the Giza Plateau. A discovery of a vast underground library made in 2008, could forever change history and the origin of the Ancient Egyptian Civilization. 

The Hall of Records is said to house the knowledge of the Ancient Egyptians documented in ancient papyrus scrolls and is believed to account for the history of the lost continent of Atlantis, as well as its location. Compared in importance, the Egyptian Hall of Records is just as the Great Library of Alexandria, which housed Grecian Knowledge.

While mainstream scholars firmly state there is no evidence whatsoever to indicate that the Hall of Records is real, scientists like Robert Schoch and Thomas Dobeck among other believe it could be located underneath the Sphinx.

In the book Message of the Sphinx, Graham Hancock, and Robert Bauval state that the Egyptian government together with American archeologists have blocked any investigations around or underneath the Sphinx, preventing anyone from locating the underground cavities and finding out what is located beneath the Sphinx.

While those who believe the Hall of Records exists was built by the ancient Egyptian civilization, there are others who think that the Hall existed but was not built by the Ancient Egyptians, but rather by a much older ancient civilization that predates the Ancient Egyptian.

However, what if the Hall fo Records was not located underneath the Sphinx? What if there is, in fact, a giant underground library somewhere in Egypt?

Suppressed by mainstream archeologists and scholars, there is an enormous underground library discovered in Egypt a while ago. It can easily be considered as one of the greatest discoveries of Ancient Egypt, yet only a few know about the existence of its existence. It is a discovery that could be considered as one of the most significant findings of the century, yet, for an unknown reason, most mainstream scholars, together with the Egyptian researchers have tried very hard to keep anyone far from it.

 The Lost Hall of Records, finally found?

Is it possible that this is the long-lost Hall of Records? Interestingly, the existence of the ‘underground library’ was mentioned by Herodotus and Strabo who had the pleasure of visiting and recording the legendary labyrinth before it vanished from history.

Among the first to mention its existence was Herodotus:

This I have actually seen, a work beyond words. For if anyone put together the buildings of the Greeks and display of their labours, they would seem lesser in both effort and expense to this labyrinth… Even the pyramids are beyond words, and each was equal to many and mighty works of the Greeks. Yet the labyrinth surpasses even the pyramids.

Herodotus (‘Histories’, Book, II, 148),

According to writing by Herodotus I the IV century BC: the labyrinth was“situated a little above the lake of Moiris and nearly opposite to that which is called the City of Crocodiles” (‘Histories’, Book, II, 148).

Based on the descriptions of ancient texts such as those from Herodotus, and others who visited the magical labyrinth in the distant past, a 17th century German Jesuit scholar called  Athanasius Kircher, created the first pictorial reproduction of the enigmatic labyrinth just as Herodotusdescribed it: It has twelve courts covered in, with gates facing one another, six upon the North side and six upon the South, joining on one to another, and the same wall surrounds them all outside; and there are in it two kinds of chambers, the one kind below the ground and the other above upon these, three thousand in number, of each kind fifteen hundred. The upper set of chambers we ourselves saw […]

The incredible underground library could easily be what is referred to as the Hall of Records. Discovered in 2008 by a group of Belgian and Egyptian researchers, the underground temple consists of over 3000 rooms which are filled with incredible hieroglyphs and paintings, the enigmatic underground complex is located less than 100 kilometers from Cairo at Hawara, not far from the Pyramid of Amenemhat III.

This incredible discovery has been kept away from society under mysterious circumstances. The results of the expedition were published in 2008 shortly in the scientific journal of the NRIAG, and the results of the research were exchanged in a public lecture at the University of Ghent. Media from Belgium attended. However, the finding was quickly suppressed since the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (Egypt) put a hold to all further communications about the discovery due to Egyptian National Security sanctions.

In 2010, de Cordier opened a website, Labyrinth of Egypt in order to make the discovery available to the entire world. Even though researchers have confirmed the existence of the underground complex, major excavations need to take place in the future in order to explore the incredible finding. It is believed that the treasures of the underground Labyrinth could hold the answers to countless historical mysteries and the ancient Egyptian civilization.

Is this the long lost Hall of Records? Moreover, is it possible that because of its extreme importance, the government decided to deny further studies and excavations?

Interestingly, the discovery of the mystery underground library seems to fit perfectly into the accounts of the mythical Hall of Records.

I am a writer for various sites commenting and sharing ideas on all sorts of different topics, so I recently took the time to check out one of the top UFO websites on the Internet dealing with UFOs and Extraterrestrials, and I decided to do a little review of stories on UFODigest.com, 

While there, I took the time to watch and listen to a video interview of Erich von Däniken who authored Chariots of the Gods and numerous other books.  Some of the information he brought up was not entirely new to me, but I listened to see what new things I could learn.  The questions he brought up have been asked from time to timeby otyher writers over decades since he first published his works bginning in the 1960s.

Briefly, one of the questions he posed is whether Mankind was created by the “Lord God” or by Extraterrestrials posing as “gods.”

In my opinion, there is no need to fear truth because truth will reconcile itself when enough information is known.  For example, the law of gravity exists.  If that is all a person knows, that person would say that it would be impossible for a plane to fly.  The fact is, planes do fly because through the lprinciples of thrust and lift, they can overcome the law of gravity.

So how do we reconcile various differing viewpoints?  When there is a seemingly difficult question to reconcile, I start with the greatest mathematical probability as being the bottom line truth, around which others are tributaries.  I start with one truth that is mathematically impossible without divine intervention.  That is the truth of prophecies past surrounding Jesus the Christ.  I am not referring to what some refer to as  end times or “the rapture” or Armageddon or any of those.  I am referring to the ones that were fulfilled in Jesus’s first coming, his life, his death, his resurrection, and his purpose.  Depending on how these prophecies are counted there are somewhere around 300+ prophecies that had to be fulfilled. 

In other words, if two or three things are listed in one scripture, do you count that as 1, 2, or 3?   A scientist in times past figured the probability just 8 of the scriptures being fulfilled to be absolutely astronomical.  Three hundred of them would be out of the Milky Way ball park!

So I start there.  If those prophecies have been fulfilled,  then we can rely on other things the Bible says. However, what does the Bible say about something that might be construed as something “extraterrestrial”? 

Genesis Chapter 6 talks about how “the sons of God” came down in to the daughters of men, chose some for wives, and procreated giants, known as the Nephilim.  That fits in with the stories of pyramids,  gigantic heads, sculptures and so forth that men ranging from roughly 4 – 6 feet in height or so, sometimes a bit larger, could never have  produced simply using prehistoric tools.

Then the Bible tells us that the world was corrupted.   Other studies of these matters have drawn conclusions that there was genetic modification to the point that only one man still retained a pure enough gene pool to save, and that was Noah, hi progeny and his posterity. 

Of course, his son Ham may have been influenced concerning genetic manipulation prior to the flood or “the seed” being preserved.  Some have postulated that Ham castrated his father, Noah, for Noah never had any further children after the flood, following and the tent incident with Ham. 

In any case, there are many stories about a worldwide flood and it fits in with information and legends known about extra-terrestrials.  It just depends through what lens you look at it.

I prefer to look at it through the Christian viewpoint since there is one defining thing that no other culture, explanation, or Holy Book has and that is the prophecies concerning Jesus the Christ.  To me, the mathematics of those prophecies supersedes any other information.  In other words, stories about extraterrestrials will have story lines in the Bible, but the Bible will not necessarily be in the story line of an extraterrestrial.

The War in Heaven …

There are other points that can fit in with the extraterrestrial story.  Why did they come?  Where did they come from and why?  The Bible gives us clues.  There was a “war in heaven.” 

A being named Satan was thrown to the Earth.  He tried to take over the Earth from a man namedAdam, who had been in charge.  The whole story of the redemption of Mankind and bringing it back to the One God from the clutches from Satan is told about in the Bible and is still in the process of being completed, i.e., returnig dominion over the earth to Man,it’s rightful owner.

Can stories of Extraterrestrials and the Bible be reconciled?

I feel they can be reconciled with modern scientific discoveries..  However, I feel that when there is a question of what story is the “correct story” line, due to prophecies of times past having been so completely fulfilled, that the Bible has to be taken as the final word over any stories that might be deduced otherwise.  The prophetic understanding and fulfillment simply is not there for any other story line.

As King David said, “I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”   David recognized that some directions of truth are a one way road and while interest in “extraterrestrials” may yield a lot of information, I personally believe the studies will finally culminate around the truth in the Bible, and not otherwise.

Of course, none of these questions, whether the questions of Extraterrestrials involvement in human affairs or questions about Jesus, are things the governments of the world particularly want studied.  They have figured out some good story lines to feed the masses.  They would prefer it if those same masses would bury their heads in entertainment or distractions and never raise them up again in questions.   If they do, they might not believe the story of evolution, a “modern myth” and cornerstone of science,and so they might not be so easily controlled, and, in fact, the ruling elite might lose economic power.

These are the underlying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of mass media control of public opinion:

Don’t question any Magic Bullet, don’t question 911, don’t question ‘global warming.’ Don’t question anything that looks strange and where the facts don’t make sense.  Don’t question the safety of vaccines.  Don’t question GMO’s.  Don’t question Chemtrails.   Don’t question HAARP.  Don’t question the Fed.  Don’t question war.  Don’t question the military/industrial complex.  Don’t question the NWO cabal.  Don’t question the theory of evolution.  Don’t question Area 51.  Don’t question the truth about extraterrestrials.  Don’t question, don’t question, don’t question. 

That is how governments want everyone to reconcile truth: Hear and obey, don’t look, don’t study, don’t ask, don’t question.  That way they keep the masses ignorant, suppressed, poor, and enslaved.

These make up some very disturbing ideas for the average person.  However, those are thoughts for another blog post for another time.  The point of this is, yes, there is information about extraterrestrials to be studied, and if we try to understand, we may be able to reconcile more than we realize.  And, we may be able to reconcile it and correlate legends and myths of Extraterrestrial involvment with early Mankind to events described in the Bible.

Earth Launches Mysterious Odd Shaped Object Into Space (Video)

The latest International Space Station live stream footage (May 20, 2016) shows an odd shaped unidentified red object which appears to rise over Earth’s horizon. The object then shoots off into space.

Given the speed of the strange object, what looks like three separate orbs reflecting a reddish light, it is not likely that the object is a satellite being launched into orbit.

Assuming the object is a man-made spacecraft, though given the odd shape of the object it does not look like a conventional craft, for what purpose they launched it into space?

There has been much talk about human activity in space. According to numerous sources, the chances for humans to experiment in space other than the International Space Station are extremely likely. Although there has been many intriguing evidence brought to light by the UFO community, authorities still have a closed mindset regarding this subject and go on ignoring it. However, when the academic community released images of an alleged spacecraft located beyond the moon, the matter took a different term.

 

What if I tell you there is conclusive evidence brought by various researchers that show massive movement in the vicinity of our planet? And that images provided are recognized by various universities as being authentic?

 

On March 23, 1983, President Reagan proposed the development of the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), an ambitious project that would build a space-based anti-missile system aimed at defending the American people from any rogue missiles launched by the Soviets.

 

 

What President Reagan didn’t anticipate at that time was the lack of technological means needed to complete this daring project. The SDI, also dubbed ‘The Star Wars’ program would require extremely advanced technological systems that were yet to be researched and developed. The system (if successful) aimed at inclining the nuclear balance towards the US, giving them an unprecedented advantage when it came to intercepting nuclear attacks, but also mounting them more effectively.

 

According to atomicarchive.com, “among the potential components of the defense system were both space and earth-based laser battle stations, which, by a combination of methods, would direct their killing beams towards moving Soviet targets. Air-based missile platforms and ground-based missiles using other non-nuclear killing mechanisms would constitute the rear echelon of defense and would be concentrated around such major targets as U.S. ICBM soils. The sensors to detect attacks would be based on the ground, in the air, and in space, and would use radar, optical, and infrared threat-detection systems.”

 

Although a lot of effort had already been put into the ‘Star Wars’ program, the technology proved to be too complex to research and handle, so later administrations have decided to cancel it entirely. But was this really the end of the SDI considering the huge amount of effort and funding put into it so far?

 

The US government rejuvenated the idea of missile defense system in the years to come by establishing the National Missile Defense, but evidence suggest their SDI activity never actually seized to exist. Even more, the program has been classified and perfected using funds received through black budget programs. It seems that, at this point, an entire fleet of spaceships is stationed in the back of the Moon, and if it sounds impossible, you may want to watch the video below that’s showing just that.

 

 

 

It was discovered in 2011 by John S. Lenard and published on YouTube to make as many people aware of it as possible. The video reveals numerous objects found in space just near the Moon. If the entire visible design is a mothership or rather more crafts stationed in space remains a topic of debate, but the value of the provided footage is undeniably of extreme importance.

 

YouTube user josephsangelo commented on the promising capture expressing his gratitude towards its discoverer: “Thank you John for this video. The Interstellar Spaceships you’ve shown and are showing us all are immensely important to human historic evolution. Soon we’ll all know there’s life many millions and/or billions of years more advanced than our own. I hope you get an award one day for your professionalism and log endeavors. Is it just me or are there aliens on board moving around the exterior? Who gets the award for the 1st alien spacewalk?”

 

Although there’s a high chance for the UFOs to be alien in nature, the possibility of them being developed by the military is even more likely. After all, the massive funds directed by President Raegan towards the program cannot just sink down the drain, that’s why we suspect the ‘Star Wars’ initiative continued along the years, but it followed a different objective – to secretly develop and test advanced space technology.

 

So why doesn’t the world react more openly to such vital information? Why doesn’t the media disclose the entire deal? Could it be because most official institutions work hand in hand to supress the truth? ....

The CIA Confirms There’s Extraterrestrial Activity on Our Planet

On December 2012, the Russian prime-minister Dimitri Medvedev gave a live interview aired simultaneously on five television channels. After that, the Russian ex-president revealed to a journalist that every leader of the Kremlin is handed two folders with classified information regarding the visit of extraterrestrial beings.

 

At that time, Medvedev’s statement was a worldwide premiere, since it was the first time when a high level official publicly acknowledged the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations during the presidential mandate.

 

 

A riveting news article was published in 1980 in the “Sputnik” magazine about the perceptions and experiences of UFOs. This article contains reports from ten Soviet and American astronauts. Only one of these astronauts refused the possibility of UFOs getting in and out of our galaxy.

 

Ievgheni Krunov declared that it’s actually impossible to deny the presence of UFOs, and we should admit that these are more than simple optical illusions, even some of their characteristics like the rapid change of flight course at a 90 degrees angle offers us a lot of food for thought.

 

Astronaut Ghenadi Strekalov mentioned that he witnessed numerous strange and inexplicable phenomena, but hesitates to classify these events in any way. Still, he described a phenomenon observed on September 28 1980, during his day shift on the Mir space station: a flying sphere above the Earth, at an altitude of 20-30 km, around Newfoundland. The atmosphere was clear and the visibility was perfect, so he could watch for about 10 seconds how the sphere was shifting beautiful vivid colors, and afterwards disappearing almost instantly.

 

Strekalov remembered that the UFO had a perfect oval shape. He claimed that he reported the event to the Mission Control Center, but it did not classify as a UFO, concluding that he must be more precautious in the relation with his superiors.

 

According to publicly released documents, in the year of 1952 alone have been checked and confirmed over 100 UFO phenomena with no logical explanation, that were registered and labeled in the CIA archives as “inexplicable”.

 

• “Almost 100 believable confessions remain inexplicable at the moment. However, the CIA monitoring will continue and no reports will be made public.”, the report notes.

 

To the disappointment of ufologists around the world, the declassification of those 10 documents coincides with the relaunch of the “X Files” series and apparently those documents do not contain any information regarding crashed UFOs, encounters or kidnappings.

 

According to the CIA spokesman, the organization believes that the public will find the information extremely fascinating:

 

 

• “We have decided to release to publicity a few files that even the most skeptical individuals will find appealing. Five of these files are fit for “X Files” agent Fox Mulder, but the other 5 files are perfect for his skeptical partner, agent Dana Scully.”

 

Conspiracy theorists believe that CIA’s decision to make these documents public does not coincide with the relaunch of the new X Files series, but rather are an attempt to warm-up the audience for later disclosures.

 

“Apparently, the CIA used the rebirth of the X Files franchise to remind the people that the agency has agents investigating these cases.”, declares Stephen Basset, executive director of Paradigm Research Group, an organization that militates at the White House in order for the government of the United States to admit that aliens are real.

 

If the world will eventually accept the UFO reality we are yet to find out, but hopefully it won’t take long until our governments will spill the beans about the existence of extraterrestrials.

Ik ben er 85 procent zeker van dat Obama de aankondiging zal doen voordat hij het Witte Huis verlaat. Enkele dagen later zal de Britse premier Cameron volgen.”

Bassett meent dat het waarheidsembargo ook van kracht is in landen als Rusland en China. Hij vindt het vreemd dat president Poetin nooit heeft geprobeerd de waarheid naar buiten te brengen.

UFO Documentary: Military Case Has New Evidence

Unidentified Flying Object is not readily recognizable to our naked eyes, but they are common these days because many people come forward to report their alleged sightings. A UFO was caught on the radar, and the two former radar technicians on the field came forward to report it. These claims were recorded in a new documentary known as the UFOs and Nukes: The Secret Link Revealed. As named in the title, the documentary makes a statement that aliens have an interest in all the nuclear facilities. It supports the claims of the military witnesses and government documents that claim the alien presence in the nuclear storage areas and nuclear weapons.

The encounter took place at the Royal Air Force Base Bentwaters, in which the radar technicians were involved. During that time, U.S. military leased the bases. The incident commenced on December 26, 1980, when the lights were observed in the forest, and two policemen were requested to investigate. A mysterious object with strange lights was reported coming on their way. The men who approached the object described it as a triangular-shaped extraterrestrial vessel hovering above the forest. It moved to the treetop at a fast speed after watching it for a few minutes.

Nights later, the alleged lights came back. However, this time, Charles Halt, the Deputy Base Commander took with him a team of security law-enforcement officers to investigate. Soon after, they reported a red light with an eyeball-shaped move through the forest. It splits into five disc-shaped objects before they flew. Afterward, they saw another disc-shaped object hovering towards them. It stopped, flying above them with a shot of laser-like beam that lasted a few seconds. According to the documentary, when RAF Bentwaters became the largest American tactical nuclear bomb depot resides in Europe. Afterward, he conducted research to find the one who has been in the RAF Bentwaters control tower during that time. As incredible as this sighting sounds, the documentary covers the present documents obtained from the former Soviet Union that show the same events happened there.

Swirling, Spinning Clouds Seen from Space

Whimsical cloud vortices dot the sky in a new satellite image of an island volcano.

The shot, captured by the Operational Land Imager on the Landsat 8 satellite, shows eddies in the air near Mawson Peak on Heard Island. The island is in the Indian Ocean and belongs to Australia. At 9,006 feet (2,745 meters), Mawson Peak is the island's highest point, according to NASA's Earth Observatory, which released the image May 8. [See Images of Some of the Weirdest Clouds]

Heard Island is off the beaten path, to say the least. It's nearly 2,500 miles (4,000 kilometers) from Australia and more than 600 miles (1,000 km) from Antarctica. But wildlife finds refuge on Heard Island and the islands that surround it. According to the Australian government, four penguin species make their home in the island group, living alongside 15 species of breeding birds, including albatross and petrol. Southern elephant seals, Antarctic fur seals and subantarctic fur seals also use the islands as breeding grounds.

Heard Island is about 24 miles (40 km) long, and growing: Fresh lava has been flowing from Big Ben, the volcano whose highest peak is Mount Mawson, since at least the 1980s. What isn't dominated by fire is covered in ice: According to the Australian government, 70 percent of Heard Island is permanently glaciated.

None of that is visible under the cloud cover in the new image, which was taken May 3. What is visible are the disrupted air patterns caused by Mawson Peak. The clear circles are called von Kármán vortices after the physicist who first described them.

Mawson Peak is the highest point on Heard Island in the Indian Ocean.

It's not the first time satellite imagery has revealed such patterns. In 2012, NASA released a shot of Saint Helena, a volcanic island in the South Atlantic Ocean, featuring similar vortices. They also appear in a shot of Guadalupe in the Pacific taken that same year.

Heard Island is in the "Furious 50s," latitudes known for their strong westerly winds. In short, according to the Australian government, the island is cold, cloudy, wet and windy. Vortices aren't the only cloud formations seen downwind of Big Ben's peaks, either. Cap clouds, which are dome-shaped cloud formations, are sometimes seen hovering over the tops of mountains. UFO-shaped lenticular clouds and twirling roll or rotor clouds (so named because they seem to roll along a horizontal axis, like a barrel down a hill) also form in the turbulent atmosphere above the island.

New Study: Ten-Billion-Trillion To One. We Are NOT The Only Technologically Advanced Civilization

It seems like everyone is talking about the extraterrestrial question these days. Humanity has always wondered, “are we alone?” and a new study seeks to answer that question scientifically, arguing that, not only are we not alone, but we never have been, and there are most likely a number of different intelligent extraterrestrial civilizations out there right now.

The study, published in Astrobiology and written by Adam Frank and Woodruff Sullivan from the Universities of Rochester and Washington, respectively, used the recent discovery of dozens of exoplanets to hypothesize on the likelihood of other technologically advanced civilizations existing. The study emphasizes that, unless the odds of advanced life evolving on a habitable planet are astonishingly low, then “human kind is not the universe’s first technological, or advanced, civilization.”

According to Frank:

The question of whether advanced civilizations exist elsewhere in the universe has always been vexed with three large uncertainties in the Drake equation. We’ve known for a long time approximately how many stars exist. We didn’t know how many of those stars had planets that could potentially harbor life, how often life might evolve and lead to intelligent beings, and how long any civilizations might last before becoming extinct.

Astrophysicist Frank Drake developed an equation in 1961 to estimate the number of advanced civilizations likely to exist in the Milky Way galaxy. The Drake equation (top row) has proven to be a valuable framework for research, though it is impossible to do anything more than guess at variables such as L, the probable longevity of other advanced civilizations. The equation is as you see below.

These researchers applied new exoplanet data to the universe’s 2 x 10 to the 22nd power stars, and found that human civilization is likely to be unique in the cosmos only if the odds of a civilization developing on a habitable planet are less than approximately one in 10 billion trillion, or one part in the 10th to the 22th power.

Frank went on to explain the implications of this discovery:

One in 10 billion trillion is incredibly small. To me, this implies that other intelligent, technology producing species very likely have evolved before us. Think of it this way. Before our result you’d be considered a pessimist if you imagined the probability of evolving a civilization on a habitable planet were, say, one in a trillion. But even that guess, one chance in a trillion, implies that what has happened here on Earth with humanity has in fact happened about a 10 billion other times over cosmic history!

Other scientists have also been weighing in for some time now. A couple of years ago, two top astronomers from the SETI Institute (Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence)  appeared in front of the congressional House Science and Technology Committee for a hearing regarding the search for extraterrestrial intelligence. They told the committee that extraterrestrial life most certainly exists, and that discovering life on other planets is not only inevitable, but will most likely occur within the next 20 years:

In the last 50 years, evidence has steadily mounted that the components and conditions we believe necessary for life are common and perhaps ubiquitous in our galaxy. The possibility that life has arisen elsewhere, and perhaps evolved intelligence, is plausible and warrants scientific inquiry. . . . If you extrapolate on the planets they discovered, there are a trillion planets in the galaxy. That’s a lot of places for life. We know that the majority of stars have planets . . . [but what] fraction of stars has planets that are more like the earth? It might be one in five.

Scientists have already discovered billions of Earth-like planets in our Milky Way galaxy alone, and we would be foolish to think that planets must be just like our own in order to harbour life. Who knows what other kinds of lifeforms have developed, or what their essential conditions for life consist of? We cannot assume that other species will be just like ours.

The Other Probability: We Are Not Alone. We Have Been Visited & Are Currently Being Visited

Below is a great clip of Dr. Brian O’Leary, a NASA astronaut and Princeton Physics Professor, speaking in the Thrive  documentary about extraterrestrials.

Just as the notion that aliens exist is gaining mainstream traction, so too is the idea that we have already been visited by them. We can attribute this shift largely to the recent official disclosure of the UFO phenomenon, which revealed that objects performing impossible maneuvers at impossible speeds that defy our known understanding of physics are commonly seen by trained observers (military personnel).

A declassified defence intelligence agency report details a classic encounter. Like many other encounters of this kind, the object is tracked on air and ground radar, and is confirmed visually by the pilots who are sent to investigate:

As the F-4 approached a range of 25 NM he lost all instrumentation and communications (UHF and intercom). He broke off the intercept and headed back to Shahrokhi. When the F-4 turned away from the object and apparently was no longer a threat to it the aircraft regained all instrumentation and communications. .  . . 

The object and the pursuing F-4 continued on a course to the south of Tehran when another brightly lighted object, estimated to be one half to one third the apparent size of the moon, came out of the original object. This second object headed straight toward the F-4 at a very fast rate of speed. The pilot attempted to fire an AIM-9 missile at the object but at that Instant his weapons control panel went off and he lost all communications (UHF and Interphone).  (source)

Another classic example comes from the Chilean Air Force:

Two pilots on a training mission, each flying an F5 fighter aircraft, tracked the object on their airborne radar. It gave a return equal to ten or more aircraft carriers-except this object was in the air, not floating on the water. Each pilot assumed his radar equipment was faulty, until he learned that the other pilot was also getting the same return. Not only this, but ground radar from a nearby airport also picked up the object and confirmed its huge size. The pilots also saw the object with their own eyes. One pilot later said that at a distance of twenty miles, it looked “like a plantain banana swathed in smoke.” The pilots were frightened, having no missiles or weapons. As they approached the massive object, which had been motionless all this while, it took off at an unimaginable speed. On May 19, 1986, a large portion of Brazilian airspace was occupied by UFOs. The Brazilian airforce kept sending their jets to get a closer look at what they were picking up on radar. Here is a quote from the Brazilian Minister of Aeronautics, Brigadier General Otavio Moreira Lima:

At least 20 objects were detected by Brazilian radars. They saturated the radars and interrupted traffic in the area. Each time that radar detected unidentified objects, fighters took off for intercept. Radar detects only solid metallic bodies and heavy (mass) clouds. There were no clouds nor conventional aircraft in the region. The sky was clear. Radar doesn’t have optical illusions. We can only give technical explanations and we don’t have them. It would be very difficult for us to talk about the hypothesis of an electronic war. It’s very remote and it’s not the case here in Brazil. It’s fantastic. These objects also cause equipment in the jets to malfunction. Many have reported this happening, including Dr. Jacques Vallee, notable for co-developing the first computerized mapping of Mars for NASA, and for his work at SRI International on the network information center for ARPANET, a precursor to the modern Internet. He published a paper in the Journal of Scientific Exploration titled “Estimates of Optical Power Output in Six Cases Of Unexplained Aeriel Objects With Defined Luminosity Characteristics” which examines these occurrences.

UFO Does Not Mean Extraterrestrial. But…

While these files only describe unidentified objects, the question of where these objects came from and who is flying them must inevitably arise. And indeed, defence intelligence agencies have also kept files on supposed extraterrestrial matters, a practice which demonstrates their interest in keeping tabs on this issue.

For example, here is an FBI document addressed to “certain scientists of distinction,” to “aeronautical and military authorities,” and to “a number of public officials.”

The document is a letter that was sent to the director of FBI in Washington from the San Fransisco office on a matter pertaining to UFOs & extraterrestrials:

“Lt. Colonel (name redacted) of G2 [G2 means army intelligence], San Francisco advised today he has no further information, and that our Seattle office is in  possession of all information known by him and is handling the matter at Tacoma, Washington.”

The document goes on to provide a copy of a letter written by someone with “several university degrees” and a former “university department head.”

The memorandum also states that “the mere fact that the data herein were obtained by so-called  ‘supernormal’ means is probably sufficient to insure its disregard by nearly all persons addressed.”

Key words to take note of: the fact that they would like to “insure its disregard” by “nearly” everyone addressed.  Does this mean that ‘some’ of the people addressed should not disregard it?

The letter goes on to outline the following: (pages 21 & 22)

• Part of the disks carry crews, others are under remote control.
• Their mission is peaceful, the visitors contemplate settling on this planet.
• These visitors are human-like but much larger in size.
• They are not excarnate Earth people, but come from their own world
• The disks posses some type of radiant energy.
• They do not come from any “planet” as we use the word, but from an etheric planet which interpenetrates with our own and is not perceptible to us.
• The bodies of the visitors, and the craft also, automatically materialize on entering the vibratory rate of our dense matter.
• They re-enter the etheric at will, and so simply disappear from our vision, without trace.
• The region they come from is NOT the astral plane, but corresponds to the Lakas or Talas. Students of esoteric matters will understand these terms.

Then we have cases like what happened in Zimbabwe many years ago, when more than 60 school children witnessed a craft landing and what appeared to be non-humanoid beings exit it. The event led a Harvard professor to conclude that extraterrestrial contact is indeed happening. It’s quite an amazing story and you can read more about it HERE. To this day, these children, now adults, maintain that they were telling the truth.

NASA Sent a Device to Space to Meet UFO

UFO or NASA weather balloon? There are a wealth of UFO sightings around the world. There is also always someone around to see it. These videos are full of shaky footage and interesting commentary. Could it be a UFO? And the video is put to the test through peer evaluation, usually on YouTube. Rational folk always have an answer. A drone. Trump flying around with bat wings. Or a simpler explanation, a NASA weather balloon. It would be difficult to dismiss the chance that a real UFO has been caught on film. But over the next 100 days or so, you may simply be recording a NASA weather balloon. Since NASA has one hovering around the earth somewhere at an altitude in upwards of 100,000 feet.

NASA Super Balloon may Cause Alien Hysteria

It may seem silly to believe NASA when they say that your UFO footage is, in fact, a weather balloon. However, this time, the space agency may be telling the truth. NASA’s super pressure balloon is a lofty teardrop looking monstrosity during the day hours. But at night, it kind of resembles a saucer shaped UFO floating about. This could cause a few mix-ups for those avid believers. NASA has recently launched their 18 million cubic foot weather balloon. It is similar to their stratosphere balloon. The one that failed over Australia and caused quite an alien-infused stir. Must be cool to be in the NASA billion dollar balloon department.

Could this ‘Weather Balloon’ be Headed for Space?

The cunning space agency that has a long line of conspiracy theories surrounding it may be telling the truth this time. But they may be lying about the balloons destination. Maybe it isn’t a weather balloon at all. NASA may be sending this super high-tech bag full of air to space. With UFO enthusiasts spending every waking hour watching live feeds from the ISS, it would be hard to pass any secret alien messages. The “weather balloon” could be headed for space. It could be some UFO linkup device that aliens will intercept in space and then send it back to Earth. From space. It may sound insane. But we should all ask ourselves why NASA is being so open about this project?

The Secret UFO Hookup

NASA’s aim for this potential space balloon is to send it 100,000 feet into the sky for 100 days. The odds of the balloon being some alien communication platform are slim. The space agency is being very transparent on this particular project. In an effort to decrease UFO sighting possibilities, they are launching a real-time map that shows the balloons location. Available to all those who want to find the balloon and record footage of it anyway.

Its great that pilots can come out and talk about what they saw in the sky. Many pilots are scared to talk about it due to ridicule and worry that their job security would be called into question. You can't get a more experienced expert at UFOs than a pilot himself, who flies daily and has to take care of his crew and passengers safety. A pilots testimony  cannot be called into question.

UFO with green lights passed over our plane, say Turkish pilots Turkish Airlines pilots have said an unidentified object with green lights passed over their plane late on May 19, stirring speculation about a possible “UFO sighting.” “An unidentified object with green lights passed 2 to 3,000 feet above us. Then it disappeared all of a sudden. We are guessing that it was a UFO,” the two pilots told the Air Traffic Control Center at Istanbul’s Atatürk Airport. The “UFO” was seen around Istanbul’s Silivri district, during a flight from the western Turkish resort town of Bodrum to Istanbul. The unidentified object was spotted when the plane was flying at around 17,000 feet at around 11:30 p.m. on May 19, according to the pilots. The plane landed at Atatürk Airport around 30 minutes later. The General Directorate of State Airports Authority said it did not spot any image in its radars similar to what the pilots had described.

This is kind of mind blowing. A large disk on the ocean floor has been moving and creating a trail behind it. This is directly from the Google Earth map. The UFO measures 2.6 miles across according to Google ruler. Understand the trail you see is only part of it. There is still hundreds of miles of trail around it that it also created.
