Photographers Team Up To Explore The Modern UFO Myth

Is alien life a conspiracy theory or a modern-day religion?

Frank Kinbler, an assistant professor of Earth sciences at New Mexico Military Institute, is working in his spare time to bring forth scientifically correct evidence from the Roswell crash site.

Frank Kimbler teaches geology and Earth sciences at the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell. In his spare time, he attempts to find evidence of the purported UFO crash that occurred in 1947. According to Open Minds, a UFO news source, Kimbler has allegedly collected plastic and metal debris, some of which shows signs of being made “off planet.”

We probably won’t live to find out definitively whether we are not alone in the universe, whether extraterrestrial life is indeed a reality. But perhaps just as interesting as the question of whether or not a little green man is hovering above us in a cylindrical spacecraft is why so many Americans tell this story to begin with. 

In their upcoming photo book “Phenomena,” photographers Tobias Selnaes Markussen, Sara Galbiati and Peter Helles Eriksen — known together as the Phenomena Collective — examine how we as a culture molded this particular and peculiar myth of alien life. As shown in the compassionate yet unbiased images, the artists are interested less in the validity of the stories of extraterrestrial sightings and more in the collective imagination that shapes them.

“What makes the UFO phenomena?“ the photographers ask on Kickstarter. “Is it just a commercially profitable story, a delusion with social consequences, a religious myth or even a physical phenomenon?” Journeying through Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona, Markussen, Galbiati and Eriksen piece together a contemporary collage of the UFO myth, framing the belief as a powerful alternate religion in which no one is truly ever alone. 

Working together as a collective, the artists document real-life individuals who believe in alien life and work to spread their truth, whether through research or guided tours. Other photos depict various pieces of evidence from specific UFO sightings and crashes. Framed as an anthropological study and presented from a fictional perspective, the images don’t demand that the viewer determine them true or false. Rather, the photographs create an intriguing story of an radical belief system, that, over time, seems to be gaining more and more traction and respect.

For example, last year Ellen Stofan, chief scientist at NASA, announced her belief that society is just decades away from getting the evidence we need to confirm the existence of alien life. “I think we’re going to have strong indications of life beyond Earth within a decade, and I think we’re going to have definitive evidence within 20 to 30 years ... We know where to look. We know how to look. In most cases, we have the technology, and we’re on a path to implementing it. And so I think we’re definitely on the road.”

Phenomena Collective’s photos capture this kind of belief at the crucial moment when fantasy could start to look more like truth, examining just why and how this shift is occurring. 

While most often, outside of UFO-obsessed circles, those who believe in extraterrestrials are presented as ignorant, naive or just plain weird, the Phenomena Collective withholds all judgment, positive or negative, and simply presents the beauty and strangeness of this growing subculture as is. As presented by the photographers, UFO mythology is not an outlying belief in American thought. Something about the story has woven itself into the dominant cultural imagination, and that’s more powerful than any flying saucer could ever be. 

The Phenomena Collective is currently raising funds to publish their photo book onKickstarter. Although they’ve already reached their goal of $12,000, every dollar helps, and you still have until Monday, May 9, to donate to this out-of-this-world cause.

The illusion of past, present, future

The universe evolves backward in time, not the other way around as we were taught in school. "The histories of the universe," concedes Stephen Hawking, the famed physicist "depend on what is being measured, contrary to the usual idea that the universe has an objective observer-independent history."

Life is not just a collection of atoms — proteins and molecules spinning like planets around the sun. It is true that the laws of chemistry can tackle the rudimentary biology of living systems, but there is more to us than the sum of our biochemical functions. Conversely, physical existence cannot be divorced from the animal life that coordinates experience. We are connected not only by intertwined consciousness, but by a pattern that is a template for the universe itself.

Quantum physics tells us that objects exist in a suspended physical state until observed, when they collapse to just one outcome — we don't know what happens until we investigate, and our investigation influences that reality. Whether or not certain events may have happened some time ago, may not actually be determined until some time in your future — it may actually be contingent upon actions that have not yet taken place.

Bizarre? Maybe you don't believe this is real. Consider an experiment that was published in Science a couple of years ago. Scientists in France shot particles of light "photons" into a measuring apparatus, and showed that what they did — now, in the present — could retroactively change something that had already happened in the past. As the photons passed a fork in the apparatus, they had to decide whether to behave like particles or waves when they hit a beam splitter. Later on — well after the photons passed the fork — the experimenter could randomly switch a second beam splitter on and off electronically. It turns out that what the observer decided at that point, determined what the particle actually did at the fork in the past. At that moment, the experimenter chose his reality.

Of course, we live in the same world. No physicist challenges the fact that particles do not exist with definite physical properties until they are observed. Every particle has a range of possible physical states, but it's not until the actual act of observation that it takes on defined properties. So until the present is determined, how can there be a past?

According to eminent physicist John Wheeler, one of Albert Einstein's last collaborators "The quantum principle shows that there is a sense in which what an observer will do in the future defines what happens in the past."

It was only with the advent of quantum physics that scientists began to consider again the old question of the possibility of comprehending the world as a form of mind. Since that time, physicists have analyzed and revised their equations in a vain attempt to arrive at a statement of natural laws that in no way depends on the circumstances of the observer. It seems only natural that the daily circuit of, say, moon round earth, though satiable only by a mind, was independent of any perception whatever. But this was to prove an illusion.

In these days of experiment and disconnected theory, one point seems certain: the nature of the universe cannot be divorced from the nature of life itself. Indeed, the quantum theory implies that consciousness must exist, and that the content of the mind is the ultimate reality. If we do not look at it, the moon is gone. In this world, only an act of observation can confer shape and form to reality — to a dandelion in a meadow, or a seed pod, or the sun or wind or rain. Anyway, it's amazing, and even your dog can do it too.

According to biocentrism, space and time are not the not the hard objects we think (Lanza and Berman, Biocentrism, BenBella, 2009). Wave your hand through the air. If you take everything away, what's left? The answer, of course, is nothing. The same thing applies for time — you can't put it in a marmalade jar. Look at anything — say this page. You can't see it through the bone that surrounds your brain. Everything you see and experience right now is a whirl of information occurring in your mind. Space and time are simply the mind's tools for putting everything together. We carry them around with us like turtles with shells. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, they are not "real and insurmountable."

In the end, even Einstein admitted, "Now Besso" (one of his oldest friends) "has departed from this strange world a little ahead of me. That means nothing. People like usÉknow that the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion."

Huge UFO Over St. Louis Cardinals Game On May 3, 2016, Photos, UFO Sightings Daily.

This witnesses photos are really big. Probably using a very powerful camera when taking these photos. These you see here are just very close up screenshots of the photos I made. We can see that the UFO does look metallic between two bright balls of light. In others its long and thin. 

This UFO is really high up and had to have shown up on radar for that area. This object must have been big, because it was seen from a great distance away and his photos are really fantastic. How could others not see this you ask? Others did see it, but often 95% of the people who see UFOs often dismiss it, but later end up regretting not taking it  more seriously at the time.

Eyewitness states:
My family and I just left the St. Louis Cardinal game, we were driving west on hwy 40, I was the first to see it. Off in the distance (approx 4 or 5 miles away) in the west (SW from our current position) I could see an extremely bright row of lights (4 round very large set of lights side by side). Like stadium lighting. I pointed it out to my husband and son. My husband said "it's just lights on top of a building or crane", "no big deal"... As we got closer to it we realized, there were NO buildings or cranes around! All highway and some trees. The lights were straight forward like headlights. It seemed like it was in the same spot from when I first spotted it. We got onto the off ramp from hwy 40 and were going to head south on hwy 270. As soon as we got onto hwy 270 my husband pulled to the shoulder so I could try and get some better pictures of this "floating light tower". 

It seemed like it was less than a quarter of a mile to the right of us at that point. Since we were stopped and now looking up at this thing we realized it was moving really super slow instead of hanging out in mid air like we originally thought. We could now see it's triangular shape and the lights were not as I described above but rather, Two in front toward the outer tip of the wings and two toward the top center. And what looked like rope lighting around the outer perimeter.The lights definitely seemed to dim down as it was passing over us. My husband said there were a set of colored blinking lights on the under side, but I honestly didn't notice them. It was bigger than our truck (ext cab silverado) and made absolutely NO SOUND?! The whole time! That was the most amazing part... How something so big flying through the air could be so quiet? And there wasn't a moment during this amazing experience, where we felt scared or threatened in any way. It stayed a safe distance above us, about as low as a helicopter would fly when doing a traffic report. As it was passing over us it picked up a tremendous amount of speed. Almost like it noticed us watching it... (I know, let's not get crazy) Then it took off straight toward St. Louis (East) then shot up ward at an angle toward the SE. Within seconds it was out of sight. Even though it was about 11pm on a Tuesday, there was a Blues game and Cardinal game that just let out... So the highways were far from empty.

Investigative Look Into Beliefs About UFOs and Aliens

A man claimed a UFO abducted him while going back to home from work in Arizona about 41 years ago.

The man is Travis Walton, who reappeared five days after his apparent abduction on November 5, 1975.

Now, an upcoming photo book, “Phenomena,” featured Walton and other people that have a connection in several UFO sighting reports. The book offers an investigative look into beliefs of Americans about UFOs and aliens. Danish photographers Tobias Selnaes Markussen, Sara Galbiati, and Peter Helles Eriksen created it.

Galbiati said that they just had a mutual interest in the subject matter. They don’t make the project as being believers or how they believe in UFOs, but more on telling the buyers of the book that there was a group of people that believed so much in UFOs and aliens that they saw the world completely different than most individuals.

The images for the book were all shot last year in New Mexico, Arizona, and Nevada, including Area 51, the highly guarded U.S. Air Force facility, located in the remote area, near the town of Rachel in Nevada.

Galbiati said that all areas that they visited had some meaning or significance, including Phoenix, where a supposed UFO sighting, known as the Phoenix Lights, was reported on 13th of March 1997.

Galbiati also revealed that in Denmark or Europe, the thing is taboo. He explained that if people believe in UFOs in those areas, they keep it to themselves. He added that the matter isn’t something people go around and talking because the majority will think that individuals who discuss it are mad.

However, in America, according to Galbiati, they were more understanding as people respect the belief of others. It’s almost like a religion wherein people won’t judge the believers, added Galbiati.

Parallel Universe Has Been Discovered – Soon Other Dimensions Too!

Leading Scientists believe that they may have discovered another alternate Universe on the outer edge of the Universe we live in, making this quite possibly one of the biggest discoveries yet for mankind.

After hours of studying intense amounts of data in California it now appears that a new Universe has been discovered beyond our own (well the one we live in). New Scientist were actually the first guys to report on the findings of Ranga-Ram Chary – He studied the data of the European Space Agency’s Planck telescope at its offices at CalTech in California, and he has released his extremely interesting findings.

Through some rather intense studies, he has now discovered another universe which is quite literally bumping into ours with its very own set of physics. This sounds a little crazy and unbelievable but this is all a 100% official information.

This has to be one of the most important finds ever out in space and could also pretty much prove that there is life out there – even though this is something we already know – many of us have seen the truth with our very own eyes!

A whole new Universe(s) out there

A parallel universe could definitely mean life does exist elsewhere. This is not some made up Science Fiction story, but the actual results of some serious research which has been conducted over many years.

Scientists are discovering more and more out there in space in recent years, but I guess this finding is going to be  one of the most important out of them all.  This turns fantasy into FACT!

But the big question is will they, the guys in the know tell us the truth about what they really know??

It was during his studies that Chary discovered the strange “mysterious glow” which could actually be an alternate universe leaking into our very own Universe that we live in. Chary accidentally come across this discovery while studying the data of the cosmic wave background at the edge of our universe.

This intriguing find has been compared to bubbles bumping into one another.

An interesting way of looking at this exciting find is to consider the time that our Universe was created bumped against another universe, and that alternate universe left behind its mark. UK newspaper The ‘Daily Mail’ released the comments made by Chary in his recent study:

“The fine tuning of parameters in the early universe required to reproduce our present day universe suggests that our universe may simply be a region within an eternally inflating super-region. ‘Many other regions beyond our observable universe would exist with each such region governed by a different set of physical parameters than the ones we have measured for our universe.” He said.

Chary expects a lot of negative criticism over his recent find (something us truth seekers are used to) and he admits that it may be difficult to prove.  He noted in his recent study:

“Unusual claims like evidence for alternate universes require a very high burden of proof.”

Credit where credit is due, Chary has created an awful lot of interest in his discovery , with many leading Scientists reaching out to him to give their views and opinions.

One of the Scientists that are full of positivity was Jens Chluba of the University of Cambridge thinks there is something to Chary’s finding. Chluba said:

” To explain the signals that Dr Chary found with the cosmological recombination radiation, one needs a large enhancement in the number of [other particles] relative to photons. In the realm of alternative universes, this is entirely possible. I am certain he made every effort to ensure that the analysis is solid. It will be important to carry out an independent analysis and confirm his finding.”

There are those that are very dubious about this find, especially after last year Scientists thought they had discovered a new Universe, but later on discovered that it was just signals coming from our own Universe.

At this moment in time it is not possible to confirm whether another Universe has been discovered or not, but one thing is for sure these are extremely exciting times and we are on the edge of a new awakening for the Human Race!

Hunting For New Dimensions From Land – CERN

The LHC machine at CERN risks opening up Portals to the ‘unknown’

Whilst some Scientists are looking out towards the edges of space to confirm the existence of other Parallel Dimensions, the researchers at CERN working on the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) are getting closer to finding a parallel universe and other Dimensions as well. Data that has been collected since June is now being studied. The LHC is focusing on miniature black holes that could mean that multiple universes exist.

“Just as many parallel sheets of paper, which are two dimensional objects (breath and length) can exist in a third dimension (height), parallel universes can also exist in higher dimensions. We predict that gravity can leak into extra dimensions, and if it does, then miniature black holes can be produced at the LHC.” Said Mir Faizal from the University of Waterloo who spoke with Daily Mail about the work the LHC is doing.

The LHC lies in a tunnel 27 kilometres (17 miles) in circumference, as deep as 175 metres (574 ft) beneath the Franco-Swiss border near Geneva, Switzerland.  Many people believe, including Professor Stephen Hawking that the Large Hadron Collider is not just a risk to humanity, but a risk to the entire Universe.

Perhaps the Scientists don’t just want to learn about other Dimensions and alternate Universe, perhaps they want to see them with their very own eyes – but at what risk?

U.I.P SUMMARY – Some might say that the human race has some what become obsessed with other Dimensions and parallel Universe.  We are not just looking through the lens of powerful space telescopes to the outer limits of the Universe we are also looking to create ‘in some way’ our very own ‘Stargate’ in the LHC machine situated in CERN.  Perhaps the scientists have been informed by a superior race of Beings about how to travel beyond our own time and existence, it has been rumoured that the LHC is based on Alien Technology – whether fact or fiction this level of technology is like something out of a Sci-Fi movie.

Perhaps there are other universes out there which developed in exactly the same way ours has but with completely different outcomes, otherwise know as ‘Alternate Universes) – PERHAPS in an infinite universe which lies within many more infinite Universe (impossible to imagine beyond infinity right?) there are worlds with duplications of ourselves but NOT ourselves – this can be the same for other Dimensions theories, similar worlds but with different outcomes!

Whether or not another universe has indeed been discovered or not, our world leaders have become obsessed with what lies beyond – perhaps they want to learn about where our ET visitors are coming from!?

Scientists are reaching further and learning more about the universe. As technology continues to develop, scientists will learn even more. It is a matter of time.  Perhaps there are Star Wars type wars going on out there in deep space, and ‘Avatar’ type worlds out there – Science is proving every week now that anything is impossible in an infinite Universe(s).

Muonen
De technologie maakt gebruik van kosmische stralen of muonen die vanuit de atmosfeer continu op de aarde vallen en zich een weg door een object kunnen banen net zoals röntgenstralen onze botten in kaart brengen. Door platen te installeren in één van de kamers van het eeuwenoude bouwwerk kunnen de muonen gedetecteerd worden. Daarna gaan de experten na welke richting de verschillende muonen uitgaan.

Scannen
Dit stelt de archeologen in staat om het hele gangenstelsel en de afzonderlijke kamers te reconstrueren zonder het risico op beschadiging van het interieur. Zo hebben de onderzoekers de volledige piramide van Snofroe kunnen scannen nadat de platen veertig dagen werden blootgesteld aan de muonen. Hierdoor is aan het licht gekomen dat de farao Snofroe toch niet begraven ligt in een geheime kamer zoals eerder werd verondersteld.

Cheops
Vervolgens is de beroemde piramide van Cheops aan de beurt. De onderzoekers zullen daar de techniek van de muonen toepassen in combinatie met warmtetechnologie en infrarood-3D-scanners. Worden nieuwe ruimtes ontdekt of niet? De tijd zal het moeten uitwijzen. Maar spannend is het in ieder geval wel.

Egyptisch Atlantis: Verloren steden geven na meer dan 1000 jaar geheimen bloot

Tot 2001 werden twee van de meest bijzondere Egyptische steden als verloren beschouwd. Toen kwam de Franse archeoloog Franck Goddio, die een uitzonderlijke ontdekking deed op de zeebodem.

Meer dan 1000 jaar lag Thonis-Heracleion verborgen onder het wateroppervlak. In de resten van machtige tempels woonden vissen en hiërogliefen werden bedekt met alg. Het kostte Goddio meerdere jaren om de stad te verkennen.

Nijlgod Hapy (Franck Goddio)

Hij ontdekte ook Canopus, die in 1933 werd herontdekt door een Britse legerpiloot. De bijzondere vondsten zijn binnenkort te zien in het British Museum. De expositie Sunken Cities: Egypt’s Lost Worldstart 19 mei. Volgens curator Aurelia Masson-Berghoff worden enkele van de grootste archeologische mysteries ontrafeld.

Thonis-Heracleion en Canopus zijn waarschijnlijk zo rond 700 voor Christus gesticht en fungeerden als handelsknooppunt tussen het oude Egypte, Griekenland en het Middellandse Zeegebied.

Als gevolg van een aantal natuurlijke fenomenen, waaronder een stijgende zeespiegel en aardbevingen, werden de steden verzwolgen door de zee. In de ruïnes zijn veel standbeelden van Ptolemaïsche goden gevonden. Dat waren menselijke versies van een zeer oude Egyptische god, de heilige stier Osiris-Apis. Die werd in Griekenland Serapis genoemd.

Tijdens de expositie worden een aantal van deze Grieks-Macedonische heersers die afgebeeld staan als Egyptische farao’s getoond. Het grootste voorwerp is een standbeeld van Nijlgod Hapy, die werd gezien als de bron van het leven voor heel Egypte. Het standbeeld is bijna vijf meter hoog en weegt ongeveer zes ton.

Goddio ontdekte ook 69 schepen op de zeebodem, de ‘grootste verzameling boten ooit gevonden’. “Wat je moet weten is dat slechts vijf procent is opgegraven,” benadrukt de curator. “Ze hebben veel materiaal achtergelaten.”

Triangle UFO spotted over Los Angeles County

A California witness at Inglewood reported watching a triangle UFO that made no sound, according to testimony in Case 76010 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness and his wife and two kids were outside talking at 8:30 p.m. on April 23, 2016, when the incident occurred.

“Suddenly saw a triangular-shaped object with lights almost a yellowish tone,” the witness stated.“The object was gliding on a straight line going west.”

The object was immediately unusual.

“The object was apparently close or too big and there was no kind of noise produced by the flying object that was flying at approximately at 50 mph.”

The witness believes the object was not man-made.

“To my wife and I there was no doubt what we were witnessing was a non-man-made airplane or drone. The object we were looking at was way too fast and big. The object looked nothing like a drone, airplane or helicopter. This object was flat and produced no noise, almost like the object was trying to sneak through the sky.”

The object startled the witness and his wife.

“I was in shock and couldn’t react fast enough to capture the object on video and my wife was so excited as well. She did try to take a picture, but the picture was unsuccessful. All the lights from the neighborhood were too bright and the cellphone camera didn’t capture the object, or at least we can’t tell if it is there or not. The flying source simply disappeared before our eyes continuing its way to the west exactly in direction to the LAX leaving us speechless and with the certainty that what we both witnessed was a once in a life time experience.”

I love how this video catches the movement of the UFO. Its not often you get to see one move around without the camera bouncing up and down. This object moves smoothly across the sky and seems to be illuminated by the moon light.

UFO Hunter Claims He Discovered Artificial Structures in Huge Cities On Venus

At least in the eyes of some UFO hunters, aliens aren’t just building structures on Mars. Recently published images of Venus seem to show artificial structures in large cities, as well as other elements.

According to one researcher, some kind of alien race created the buildings.

YouTube user and alien hunter mundodesconocido posted a video discussing the large cities he discovered while examining the collection of photos.

He also made 3D models of the visible structures.

He speculated in the video that the bizarre shapes are artificial, and they appear to be cities with elements that emit light.

Mundodesconocido tours viewers to the so-called great city on Venus, showing somewhat raised structures across the planet that he believes to be alien apartment complexes. However, skeptics would say that they are just craters on the surface.

These images in the video came from the Magellan probe that was launched to Venus in 1989 and arrived a little over a year later. Its missions were to study chemical processes, planet’s interior, land forms and tectonics, deposition, erosion, and impact processes.

Doubters argue that those protruding structures, which were referred to as huge cities, are just the result of the volcanic flows on 85 percent of the Venus’ surface.

UFO activity over Ridley Park in Pennsylvania

Here’s one older footage of a two bright objects flying across the sky above Ridley Park in Pennsylvania. This happened in July 2012 and it was just recently submitted to MUFON.

Witness report: I hail from the town of Ridley Park which is 10 miles to the South of Philadelphia and about 2 miles from the Philadelphia International Airport. Back around the 4th of July holiday in 2012 I was having a small pool party with some friends and as the night progressed I had broken off from the main group of friends and was just catching up with 2 buddies of mine. We will call them Bill and Jake. Bill is a mechanic at the airport and Jake is in the Army National Guard. It was roughly 1130pm EST as we were talking on my back deck when a light caught my eye in the sky. I motioned for both of them to glance up and the 3 of us stood there in complete confusion as we watched this amber light moving East to West across the sky. The altitude would be hard to guess, but I would say it was between 10,000-20,000 feet basing it off typical air traffic living next to the airport. The amber light moved from West to East and then hooked North directly towards the city of Philadelphia as we lost sight of it over the trees. We immediately muttered some choice words to the effect of what the heck was that as there was no sound and even with planes at typical cruising altitude around here we can still hear them. As we continued to discuss what we just saw another light appeared from the same direction almost identical altitude (from the best we could tell) and it made the same turn towards the city. The light itself was solid in color. No flickering, no blinking or flashing, and no dimming. The amber light held strong in intensity the entire time and the second one did as well which is odd considering given its flight path we would have seen it from the front, the bottom, and then the back. Now some back story. I myself am a house painter by day and an amateur astronomer by night. I have seen satellites, meteors, the whole nine yards and nothing could compare to what I had just witnessed. Also, this was the first year I was not doing my annual fireworks display up in the mountains so I have seen my share of pyrotechnics and aerial flares. So to me it was not a plane (as I see them daily at all altitudes and flight patterns which this one did not follow), not anything astronomical by any means, not a helicopter (altitude appeared to be too high and the light did not fit any helicopter I have ever seen military or civilian), and not a Chinese lantern as I have witnessed these set off as well. Bill immediately concluded that it was nothing he had ever seen before at the airport or anything that made sense in terms of a civilian or commercial aircraft and Jake chimed in with it not being anything military that he had ever seen. So we sat there stumped and staring at the sky hoping for one more pass by another object, but there was nothing. I feel the need to mention as well considering I said I was having a party. my only vice is smoking cigarettes (I do not drink or use any other mind altering substances). 
A few days later I was catching up with my cousin who had told me previously while in a golf outing in the mountains about a UFO sighting he had before. So I figured I would share my story with him. He was relieved he wasn’t the only person he knew to had seen something he could not explain. I described the object in detail just as I have above and he compared his story to mine and the differences between what we saw. We talked about the only wildcard which we both admittedly knew nothing about being a drone or some type of UAV. If I remember correctly this is around the time when the government started using them stateside a lot more frequently, but still if the idea is for them not to be seen then why have a light on it that is so bright. Fast track to about September 2012 I get a call from my cousin who was in touch with me over the weekend as he was up looking for some dark skies for a photography session in the mountains trying to shoot the milky way (photography is his hobby and he is quite good at it). He was on his way home coming down 76 East (PA Turnpike) somewhere between Elizabeth Town, Pa and Morgantown, Pa when a light caught his eye. He reached for his Nikon DSLR and began filming while he was driving. The light he was filming was moving with him and it fit the same description as I had mentioned above. At one point while driving the light moved so abruptly it caused him to jerk the camera completely to the side window to keep it in the shot. He then pulled over to the side of the highway deciding it was better and safer to film from the side of the road than continue to do so while driving. Once he pulled over his memory card was full sadly and he was not able to continue to film the object anymore. Which he regrets because the object was then joined by 3 more lights of the same description and they continued moving in the same direction in what he described as a staggered column until they were out of view. Obviously what is not filmed can be taken with a grain of salt by any investigator or person looking into a video, but to me he has no reason to lie.

'Star Wars' Tech: 8 Sci-Fi Inventions and Their Real-Life Counterparts

A long time ago in a studio far, far away, filmmaker George Lucas created one of the seminal works of science fiction: the "Star Wars" movie series.

Nearly 40 years later, the ideas introduced by the films are still staples of the genre, and with new installments of the series set to hit theaters in the coming years, fans will be pleased to see lightsabers, hyperdrives and speeders in abundance.

While the science and technologies behind the franchise are firmly rooted in fantasy, their enduring appeal has served as inspiration for many real-life scientists and engineers. Here are some of the most notable attempts to turn "Star Wars'" science fiction into science fact.

Exoplanets

Central to the plot of "Star Wars" is the existence of vast numbers of planets, all connected by a galaxy-wide trade network. But it wasn't until 1995, nearly 20 years after the 1977 release of the first movie, that the first exoplanet — a planet located outside Earth's solar system — was definitively detected. "To me, the most important thing about 'Star Wars' is the idea that humans' future is in space,” said British science communicator Mark Brake, who put on a show called "The Science of Star Wars" last year. "Effectively, what it's all about is trade and imperial development in a series of solar systems, and actually now we are beginning to discover these solar systems."

More than 2,000 exoplanets have now been found, and in 2011, NASA's Kepler space telescope discovered the first planet orbiting around two suns, just like Luke Skywalker's fictional home planet Tatooine. The planet, dubbed Kepler-16b, is an uninhabitable gas giant, but in 2012, the telescope was used to discover two more planets in binary star systems that are extremely close to the so-called habitable zone. (This is the region around a star in which liquid water could flow on a planet's surface.)

Hyperspace

In the films, spaceships like Han Solo's Millennium Falcon are able to jet between solar systems that are light-years apart. According to "Star Wars" canon, these "hyperdrive" propulsion systems let intergalactic travelers jump into a shadow dimension called "hyperspace," which provides shortcuts between points in real space.

While the movies are hazy on the details, the idea of hyperspace and faster-than-light (FTL) travel has a basis in real science, said Eric Davis, a physicist at the Institute for Advanced Studies at Austin, in Texas, who researches the possibility of FTL travel.

While it's impossible to travel faster than light, the curved nature of space-time proposed by Albert Einstein suggests space could be distorted to shorten the distance between two points. One way of doing this would be a warp drive that contracts space in front of a ship and expands it behind the vessel. Another would be to create a wormhole, or a section of space that curves in on itself to create a shortcut between distant locations. Creating these kinds of distortions would require exotic matter with so-called "negative energy," Davis told Live Science, a phenomenon that has been demonstrated in the lab using the Casimir effect, which can be measured as the force of attraction or repulsion between two parallel mirrors that are placed just tiny distances apart in a vacuum. Earlier this year, a lab called Eagleworks, based at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, claimed to have created a warp drive that appears to exploit this effect to create spatial distortions in a vacuum. But, sadly for sci-fi fans, the lab's unpublished findings have been met with skepticism. And Davis, an FTL optimist, called the claims "bizarre and questionable."

"These remain as speculative theoretical concepts at present because they remain under further theoretical study and also because there is no technology envisioned that can implement them," he said. "It might take between 50 and 300 years to develop the technology that produces traversable wormholes or warp drives."

Speeders

A less conceptually troublesome mode of transport featured in "Star Wars" is likely a lot closer to being realized. A number of firms are currently trying to create working versions of "hoverbikes," known as "speeders" in the films.

Aerofex, a California-based startup, is developing a hoverbike akin to the speeders in "Star Wars."

Aerofex, a California-based startup company, developed the Aero-X vehicle, which is described as "a hovercraft that rides like a motorcycle," and can fly at 45 mph (72 km/h) up to 10 feet (3 meters) off the ground. For speed demons, U.K.-based Malloy Aeronautics' Hoverbike is projected to reach speeds of more than 170 mph (274 km/h) at the same altitude as a helicopter.

Both Aerofex and Malloy Aeronautics' hoverbikes use standard gasoline, but environmentally conscious "Star Wars" fans could soon have futuristic transportation alternatives, too. Bay Zoltan Nonprofit Ltd., a Hungarian state-owned applied research institute, has created an electric battery-powered tricopter called the Flike. Before you get your hopes up, though, all three vehicles are still firmly in the design phase.

Droids

Another ever-present feature of the "Star Wars" universe are droids, which are robots that act as personal servants, pilots, technicians and even soldiers. Today, there are a growing number of analogies in the real world, ranging from automated military drones to Google's driverless cars and robotic surgical assistants. This summer, robots competed in the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Robotics Challenge Finals. The humanoid robots tackled complex challenges, including driving a vehicle, opening a door, climbing steps and turning off a valve.

The majority of the bots performed well in the competition, but these machines were only semiautonomous, meaning a human operator was almost constantly in control of the robot. So, while the machinery of modern robotics can match the clunky "Star Wars" droids, there's a long way to go in making real robots as smart, said Jerry Pratt, an expert in algorithms for bipedal walking and co-leader of the Florida-based Institute for Human and Machine Cognition's team, which competed in the Robotics Challenge Finals, winning second place.

"The hard part is the artificial intelligence," Pratt told Live Science. "We're getting to the point where sensory-input devices are nearly as good [as], if not better than human sight. But [having the robots] actually understanding what [they] are looking at is what's difficult. It's small things like being able to look at a cup and understand what a cup is and understand that it's something you put liquid in. Unless it is hand-coded by a human, we are pretty much nowhere at this point, and it's hard to say what needs to happen."

Lightsabers

The most iconic piece of "Star Wars" technology is the lightsaber, but it's also probably the most far-fetched, experts say. The photons that make up light have long been considered massless particles that don't interact with each other, which makes the prospect of clashing beams of light in epic lightsaber duels unlikely.

In 2013, however, researchers from Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) demonstrated that when pairs of photons were fired through a cloud of supercooled atoms, the photons emerged as a single molecule. Talking about the interaction between the particles to the Harvard Gazette, Mikhail Lukin, a professor of physics at Harvard, said, "It's not an inapt analogy to compare this to lightsabers." But Davis said re-creating the effect in real life is a whole other ball game. "Lightsabers are purely fictional and will never be developed," he said. "Using the contraptions and cryogenic equipment to produce trapped quantum gases 2 feet [0.6 m] from the end of a lightsaber emitter is impractical."

But all is not lost when it comes to light-based weapons: Scientists are close to developing weapons similar to the blaster guns featured in "Star Wars." In fact, the U.S. Navy has already demonstrated a ship-based laser weapon capable of shooting drones out of the sky and disabling small boats. And this summer, the U.S. Air Force began testing another laser-based weapon that is five times as powerful as the Navy's version, and small enough to be fitted to fighter jets and Humvees.

Tractor beams

Light could also help replicate another interesting technology from the "Star Wars" franchise: the tractor beam, which is an invisible energy field that can grab, trap and move objects. Since the early 2010s, scientists have been creating lasers with unusual beam-intensity profiles that allow them to attract and repulse tiny particles.

Just last year, researchers from the Australian National University broke the distance record for tractor beams by using a doughnut-shaped laser to drag hollow, glass spheres for up to 7.8 inches (20 centimeters), roughly 100 times further than in previous experiments.

And just a couple months ago, a team from the University of Bristol, in the United Kingdom, showed that sound could rival light as the source of future tractor beams. The researchers used a precisely timed sequence of sound waves from an array of tiny loudspeakers to create a region of low pressure that effectively counteracts gravity, levitating tiny balls of polystyrene in midair. The balls could then be pulled, pushed and spun using only sound waves.

Holograms

Researchers from Hewlett-Packard Laboratories have developed holographic display technology for mobile devices. The images are not only three-dimensional but show objects from different angles.

When you're trapped in the tractor beam of an Imperial Star Destroyer and facing certain doom, there's no better way of sending a mayday message than via hologram. But while specially designed glasses have been used to create the illusion of 3D images for decades, free-standing holographic videos have been hard to reproduce.

In recent years, an old stage trick invented by John Pepper in the 19th century to give the illusion of a ghostlike apparition on stage has been revived, most notably to seemingly resurrect deceased rapper Tupac Shakur at the Coachella music festival in 2012. The method relies on a superthin sheet of foil hung at a 45-degree angle from the stage that is invisible to the naked eye but reflects images from a projector. The trick gives the illusion of a 3D image but only if you are standing in front of it.

Closer to the mark is the Voxiebox "swept surface volumetric display" made by Voxon, the result of a merger between two groups of Australian and American inventors. 3D models are sliced into hundreds of horizontal cross sections before a superfast projector beams them onto a flat screen that rapidly moves up and down. The human eye blends these projections together to create a 3D image that can move and be viewed from any angle, just like during Princess Leia's message to Obi-Wan Kenobi in "Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope."

The Force

Binding the entire "Star Wars" universe together is the concept of the Force, which gives Jedi knights their magical powers and provides the backdrop for the battle between good and evil.

Earlier this year, researchers at the Large Hadron Collider announced they had discovered the first unequivocal evidence for the phenomenon, with a certain diminutive green spokesperson remarking, "Very impressive, this result is." Sadly for those aspiring Jedi out there, it was an elaborate April Fools' Day prank.

But, with the Force due to awaken later this month, there may be hope for them yet.

Ten Mile Space-craft

A 1968 photo taken during a Lunar Orbiter mission to the Moon shows what appears to be a spacecraft that is at least 10 miles (16 km) long resting inside the Crater Manlius.

The photo was the subject of a YouTube video (below) that was released on October 4 that shows various close ups and light contrasts of the apparent spacecraft.

 

 

 

Most of the object is well illuminated by the sun, but the rest is in the shadows of the crater which is approximately 20 miles (34 km) in diameter, what appears to be a spacecraft cockpit is in shadows.

 

According to an October 5 blog post on UFO Sightings Daily, the object is a UFO that was being secretly studied by NASA, and the real target for upcoming Apollo Moon missions.

The apparent spacecraft was photographed by Lunar Orbiter III (frame 3073) that was sent in 1967 to map the moon for future Apollo missions.

 

 

Prior to its October 2014 “rediscovery,” the UFO in the photo was discovered in October 2007 and discussed on an online forum where the consensus was that it was a spacecraft of some kind.

 

One possible explanation of the object is that it is an optical illusion based on a depression in the crater, rather than a large spacecraft resting on the crater’s surface.

 

The contours of the object as it meets the shadow cast by the sun from the crater’s rim, however, appears to rule out such an explanation.

 

What is perhaps even more solid evidence of something artificial on the moon’s surface in the same Lunar Orbiter photo is what appears to be the remains of a road that is approximately 60 miles (100 km) long on the moon’s surface.

 

The apparent road is surprisingly straight and covers the entire width of the Orbiter photo suggesting it is even longer. This suggests that it is not a natural depression on the lunar surface.

 

Even more surprisingly, the roadway was not discussed in either the YouTube video (above video) or the UFO Sightings Daily BlogSpot.

 

The object captured by the Lunar Orbiter III does appear to be a huge spacecraft that is at least 10 miles long resting on the surface of the Crater Manlius, rather than an optical illusion from a depression in the crater.

 

A possibility of artificial structures on the moon that is harder to dismiss is what appears to be the remains of an ancient lunar highway that is at least 60 miles long.

The Roswell Report - Case Closed... Maybe Not

Here’s something that I don’t believe anyone has commented on. The Roswell Report – Case Closed document issued through the Air Force and written by Captain James McAndrew is based on lies, and if that is the case, then the document is flawed and unreliable.

You might well ask, “What do you mean?”

 

First, in explaining that anthropomorphic dummies were responsible for the reports of bodies involved with the Roswell crash, McAndrew relies on statements made by our old pal, Jim Ragsdale. In fact, this becomes quite important in proving that the Air Force experiments with high altitude ejection systems and other tests were responsible for the tales of bodies being recovered. McAndrew wrote:

Testimony attributed to Ragsdale, who is deceased, states that he and a friend were camping one evening and saw something fall from the sky. The next morning, when they went to investigate, they saw a crash site:

• “One part [of the craft] [brackets in McAndrew version] was kind of buried in the ground and one part of it was sticking our [out] of the ground.” “I’m sure that [there] was bodies… either bodies or dummies.” “The federal government could have been doing something they didn’t want anyone to know what this was. They was using dummies in those damned things… they could use remote control… but it was either dummies or bodies or something laying there. They looked like bodies. They were not very long… [not] over four or five feet long at the most. “We didn’t see their faces or nothing like that… we just gotten to the site and the Army… and all [was] coming and we got into a damned jeep and took off.”

 

This testimony [meaning Ragsdale’s statements] then describes an assortment of military vehicles used to recover the “bodies.”: “It was two or three six-by-six Army trucks a wrecker and everything. Leading the pack was a ’47 Ford car with guys in it… It was six or eight big trucks besides the pickup, weapons carriers and stuff like that.” Ragsdale also said that before he left the area he observed the military personnel “gathering stuff up” and “they cleaned everything up.”

 

…In his testimony, Ragsdale made numerous references to equipment vehicles, and procedures consistent with documented dummy recoveries for projects HIGH DIVE and EXCELSIOR. The repeated use of the term “dummy” and the witness’ own admission that “they was using dummies in those damned things” and “I’m sure that was bodies… either bodies or dummies” leaves little doubt that what he described was an anthropomorphic dummy recovery.

 

And that would be a powerful argument except for one fact. Ragsdale was lying. He hadn’t been out there, he hadn’t seen anything fall from the sky and he hadn’t seen dummies to be confused with alien bodies.

 

McAndrew goes on to explain, “If the witness was even a short distance from odd looking anthropomorphic dummies, it would be logical for him to believe, when interviewed 35 to 40 years after the event, that he ‘thought they were dummies or bodies or something.’

 

And I could go on; pointing out more mistakes in McAndrew’s attempt to convince us all that Ragsdale had seen one of these dummy recoveries, but why? Ragsdale was lying and McAndrew, when he wrote his report, could have found that out. In my book, also published in 1997, The Randle Report, I expose the Ragsdale tale for the lie that it is. I also detail how Max Littell had manipulated the story so that he would have something to talk about when reporters, researchers, and documentarians came to the museum in Roswell. Since my book and McAndrew’s were published in the same year, it would mean that we had access to the same information. McAndrew just didn’t bother to check to see if anything new had been learned about Ragsdale before creating his tale of anthropomorphic dummies.

To make it worse, William P. Barnett, writing in Crosswinds in August 1996, provides, in great detail, the various problems with the Ragsdale story. It is quite clear at that point that there is nothing of value here and that Ragsdale, with coaching from Littell, has changed the story. McAndrew, with the resources of the USAF behind him, should have been able to learn all about the Ragsdale tale. Since it is clearly untrue, it renders all the discussion about Project High Dive and Excelsior, anthropomorphic dummies, and government experimentation moot. The foundation of McAndrew’s theory, which is the Ragsdale nonsense, is erected on quicksand.

 

There are other problems as well. On page 46 of his report, McAndrew compares a drawing of a triangular-shaped object provided by Frank Kaufmann with “A tethered ‘Vee’ balloon shown… at Holloman AFB, N.M. in March 1965. This experimental balloon, is strikingly similar to the ‘alien’ craft.’”

 

Unfortunately for McAndrew, and something that he might have suspected when he wrote his book, Kaufmann was not telling the truth. It wasn’t until after 2000 that Kaufmann was exposed, thanks to the work of Mark Rodeghier, Mark Chesney and Don Schmitt. Given that, we can now say that his analysis of comparing the object drawn by Kaufmann to that launched at Holloman is in error as well.

 

Glenn Dennis

 

He also attacks the “missing nurse” story told by Glenn Dennis. The problem here, as it is with these other tales he uses is that the Dennis story is bogus as well. There is no missing nurse, information which was available in 1997 but McAndrew failed to find. Wouldn’t a stronger case be made by pointing this out rather than going off on the tangent that he does?

 

Maybe the most egregious error by McAndrew (and I’m being a bit generous here) is the illustration on page 6 that shows a long Mogul array. Although he suggests that the illustration is similar to the one found by Mack Brazel, it is actually from Mogul Flight No. 2 which had a configuration different than those used in New Mexico. He says nothing about that which is misleading at best.

 

What is given here is a report used to explain away the tales of bodies by suggesting government experiments in the 1950s. Had McAndrew done his homework, had he investigated all this rather than just read a bunch of books and official documents, he actually could have made a much stronger case. As it is, his argument fails because he used bogus information to support it.

 

 

Before anyone feels the need to point out that this sword cuts both ways, let me note that while Phil Klass and Karl Pflock rejected Ragsdale and Kaufmann, they did so only because they did not believe that anything alien fell near Roswell. They were right for the wrong reason, but it was those of us on the other side of the fence that worked to expose these people when we learned the truth. It would have been better had we known the truth before we promoted their tales and it took us a while to get to that point, but we did arrive at it… I have seen nothing from McAndrew acknowledging that his book was based on that same false information.

UFO Returns To Clovis, California On May 5, 2016, Video, UFO Sighting News

UFO activity over Ridley Park in Pennsylvania

Here’s one older footage of a two bright objects flying across the sky above Ridley Park in Pennsylvania. This happened in July 2012 and it was just recently submitted to MUFON.

Witness report: I hail from the town of Ridley Park which is 10 miles to the South of Philadelphia and about 2 miles from the Philadelphia International Airport. Back around the 4th of July holiday in 2012 I was having a small pool party with some friends and as the night progressed I had broken off from the main group of friends and was just catching up with 2 buddies of mine. We will call them Bill and Jake. Bill is a mechanic at the airport and Jake is in the Army National Guard. It was roughly 1130pm EST as we were talking on my back deck when a light caught my eye in the sky. I motioned for both of them to glance up and the 3 of us stood there in complete confusion as we watched this amber light moving East to West across the sky. The altitude would be hard to guess, but I would say it was between 10,000-20,000 feet basing it off typical air traffic living next to the airport. The amber light moved from West to East and then hooked North directly towards the city of Philadelphia as we lost sight of it over the trees. We immediately muttered some choice words to the effect of what the heck was that as there was no sound and even with planes at typical cruising altitude around here we can still hear them. As we continued to discuss what we just saw another light appeared from the same direction almost identical altitude (from the best we could tell) and it made the same turn towards the city. The light itself was solid in color. No flickering, no blinking or flashing, and no dimming. The amber light held strong in intensity the entire time and the second one did as well which is odd considering given its flight path we would have seen it from the front, the bottom, and then the back. Now some back story. I myself am a house painter by day and an amateur astronomer by night. I have seen satellites, meteors, the whole nine yards and nothing could compare to what I had just witnessed. Also, this was the first year I was not doing my annual fireworks display up in the mountains so I have seen my share of pyrotechnics and aerial flares. So to me it was not a plane (as I see them daily at all altitudes and flight patterns which this one did not follow), not anything astronomical by any means, not a helicopter (altitude appeared to be too high and the light did not fit any helicopter I have ever seen military or civilian), and not a Chinese lantern as I have witnessed these set off as well. Bill immediately concluded that it was nothing he had ever seen before at the airport or anything that made sense in terms of a civilian or commercial aircraft and Jake chimed in with it not being anything military that he had ever seen. So we sat there stumped and staring at the sky hoping for one more pass by another object, but there was nothing. I feel the need to mention as well considering I said I was having a party. my only vice is smoking cigarettes (I do not drink or use any other mind altering substances). 
A few days later I was catching up with my cousin who had told me previously while in a golf outing in the mountains about a UFO sighting he had before. So I figured I would share my story with him. He was relieved he wasn’t the only person he knew to had seen something he could not explain. I described the object in detail just as I have above and he compared his story to mine and the differences between what we saw. We talked about the only wildcard which we both admittedly knew nothing about being a drone or some type of UAV. If I remember correctly this is around the time when the government started using them stateside a lot more frequently, but still if the idea is for them not to be seen then why have a light on it that is so bright. Fast track to about September 2012 I get a call from my cousin who was in touch with me over the weekend as he was up looking for some dark skies for a photography session in the mountains trying to shoot the milky way (photography is his hobby and he is quite good at it). He was on his way home coming down 76 East (PA Turnpike) somewhere between Elizabeth Town, Pa and Morgantown, Pa when a light caught his eye. He reached for his Nikon DSLR and began filming while he was driving. The light he was filming was moving with him and it fit the same description as I had mentioned above. At one point while driving the light moved so abruptly it caused him to jerk the camera completely to the side window to keep it in the shot. He then pulled over to the side of the highway deciding it was better and safer to film from the side of the road than continue to do so while driving. Once he pulled over his memory card was full sadly and he was not able to continue to film the object anymore. Which he regrets because the object was then joined by 3 more lights of the same description and they continued moving in the same direction in what he described as a staggered column until they were out of view. Obviously what is not filmed can be taken with a grain of salt by any investigator or person looking into a video, but to me he has no reason to lie.

Project SERPO – The Exchange Program with Aliens from Zeta Reticuli (Part I)

“First let me introduce myself. My name is [Request Anonymous]. I am a retired employee of the U.S. Government. I won’t go into any great details about my past, but I was involved in a special program.”

Thus began the first in a series of lengthy messages received in 2005 by a UFO discussion group moderated by a former U.S. Government employee by the name of Victor Martinez. The source of the messages requested that his identity remain undisclosed for fear of being prosecuted or even worse. And he had good reason, for calling the nature of his disclosures sensitive was an understatement.

 

According to the anonymous source, in the early 1950’s the government initiated Project Serpo, a top secret program intended to open communication channels between mankind (represented, of course, by the U.S. Government) and a race of extraterrestrials from Serpo, a planet located in the Zeta Reticuli star system.

 

Zeta Reticuli is a binary star system in the southern constellation of Reticulum. Although both stars are similar in size to our own sun, spectral analysis shows they are much younger, at around 2 billion years of age. Whether this interval is enough for a highly intelligent, spacefaring species to develop is not up to us to decide. Furthermore, the aliens inhabiting Serpo originated elsewhere in the galaxy.

 

The incident that led to this interplanetary connection was none other than the Roswell crash. Or, should I say–crashes, because there were two of them: one southwest of Corona, New Mexico and the other near Pelona Peak, which is a rock’s throw away from Datil, NM.

 

The crash involved two extraterrestrial aircraft. The Corona site was found a day later by an archaeology team. This team reported the crash site to the Lincoln county Sheriff’s department. A deputy arrived the next day and summoned a police officer. One live EBE [extraterrestrial biological entity] was found hiding behind a rock. The entity was given water but declined food. The entity was later transferred to Los Alamos,” the anonymous source wrote.

 

It’s interesting to note that the entity accepted water. This seems to suggest it might have shared a biology similar to our own and also cements the idea that life on Earth might have originated elsewhere in the universe. The EBE’s refusal to ingest food might have had cultural bases rather than physiological ones. Or maybe it wasn’t hungry enough.

 

Eventually the Roswell Army Air Field was notified of the crash and promptly intervened. After a thorough examination of the Corona site, all evidence was loaded onto flatbed trucks and carried away to an undisclosed location. A total of six extraterrestrial bodies were recovered and transported to the Los Alamos National Laboratory because the facility had a (then) recently-developed cooling system that allowed scientists to preserve the bodies for subsequent research.

 

 

The live alien was kept under strict surveillance at the same facility. Picture this: you’re being held captive by a decidedly inferior species, you’re the sole individual of your kind on an alien planet and the governing powers house you under the same roof as your fallen and frozen brethren. Now that’s adding insult to injury!

 

Another two years would pass until the second crash site would be discovered. It’s reasonable to expect that no survivors were found but the wreckage containing invaluable technology and desiccated bodies were whisked off to Sandia Army Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

 

In the meantime, the live EBE had already established a means of communication with the scientists and top brass and we can assume they were very eager to know what he had to say. Yes, he, because his species also had male-female gender division.

 

The alien revealed the name of his homeworld: Eben. Its location was, like the title says, in the Zeta Reticuli star system. He also informed scientists about the various instruments and ultra advanced technology on board the two downed spacecraft. You can envision the power and demonstration hungry military officials pressuring the translators to squeeze more out of their extraterrestrial captive.

 

Until his death in 1952, the alien version of Robinson Crusoe (one that never gets to make a living on his own, but is rather captured by the savages) continued to provide information regarding the items inside the two spaceships. If we weren’t so understanding, we could probably blame him for all the triangle-shaped UFOs zipping silently above our heads. At least part of those must be man-made and operated, albeit using technology reverse-engineered from these early UFO crashes. Did you honestly believe aliens are responsible for all the sightings?

 

Before he died, the EBE managed to set up one of the communication devices present aboard one of their vehicles and contact his homeworld. The humans who oversaw this procedure must have been sitting on the outer edge of their seats until the response came back.

 

But back it came and things eventually turned out way better than they could have hoped for. They Ebens agreed to come visit! The date was set for April 1964 and, showing that punctuality is a must-have trait of advanced civilizations, they touched ground somewhere near Alamogordo, New Mexico. They unceremoniously retrieved the bodies of their kin and engaged in information exchange with the earthlings via a translation device. English was the chosen language, because they were the visitors and courtesy knows no planetary boundaries.

 

 

For the betterment of mankind, the Ebens agreed to set up an exchange program. Twelve members were carefully selected for the mission: 8 USAF, 2 U.S. Army and 2 U.S. Navy. Two of them were doctors, three were scientists, two were linguists, two of them handled security, two were pilots and the last one was the leader, an Air Force Colonel.

 

All of them were given alternate identities and they were effectively erased from all military and civilian records. It was as if they never existed in the first place and that made them ideal candidates for a mission from which they might never return. The 12 went through six months of rigorous training and were given the order to maintain contact with Earth via the already-established communication links.

 

As per their agreement, the aliens returned in 1965 and left one of their own behind shortly before whizzing lifting up the brave dozen. Their mission was supposed to last ten years, during which regular communication had to be maintained. But the best-laid plans of mice, men and aliens often go astray. The team’s transmissions to Earth HQ were sporadic at best and didn’t always include the greatest of news. Three years into their stay, one doctor and one of the security personnel died. Pneumonia and injury sustained from a fall were the culprits.

 

Five years after they’d left, communication stopped altogether. The U.S. Government was in the dark regarding Project Serpo, of which they had had such high expectations. But then, in 1978, three years after the agreed-upon return date, the Ebens came back and dropped off seven men and one woman. Two were dead and two had decided to remain behind.

 

They were placed in quarantine for a whole year during which they had plenty of time to debrief their superiors. As a matter of fact, the complete account they brought back is said to have numbered around 3,000 pages.

 

According to the crew members, the cosmic journey to Eben lasted only 9 months, despite the distance of 39 light-years that separates us from them.

 

FTL TRAVEL FTW!

 

Although it already had a name, the crew nicknamed the planet Serpo, hence the name of the top-secret project. With a diameter of 7,200 miles, it was slightly smaller than Earth. It had two moons, the day was 43 earth hours long and it revolved around its star in 865 earth days. The Eben Solar System numbered six planets. The Ebens had established bases on the one that was nearest to Serpo (nicknamed OTTO) but it was a lifeless world.

 

Silus, another of the planets in their Solar System had its own native lifeforms but none were intelligent. The Ebens mined it for minerals their homeworld lacked.

 

On Serpo, the heat was extreme (by human standards) and it took the crew a long time to adjust. Water was readily available but food was a problem. The team only brought enough food with them to last for two years so they eventually had to resort to eating native cuisine. At first, it caused them gastrointestinal problems but they eventually adapted. The human body is one versatile machine.

Project SERPO – The Exchange Program with Aliens from Zeta Reticuli (Part II)

Project Serpo was a top secret program initiated in the 1950s following the events collectively known as the Roswell Incident. It saw the relocation of a human crew to an alien planet as part of an ‘exchange’ program with the extraterrestrials populating it.

All crew members were allowed to roam freely and they traveled wherever they pleased. Halfway through their stay, they decided to relocate to the northern part of the planet, where temperatures were cooler and allowed for the growth of ample vegetation. The interplanetary human crew had experienced difficulties adapting to the hot and dry climate on Serpo, determined by the increased levels of solar radiation.

 

• The visitors built a small community for the team,” the anonymous whistleblower wrote. “The only major problem was time. Time was different on the visitor’s planet. I don’t think anyone ever figured it out. The visitors had no clocks. They didn’t judge or account for time as we did. They found our attempts to account for time strange.”

 

Despite dismissing watches, the Ebens were extremely disciplined in their daily lives. Every one of them worked on a schedule based on the movement of their central sun. Speaking of suns, it never got completely dark on Serpo, on account of the second star dimly illuminating the sky whenever the central one set.

 

The Ebens were the only population present on Serpo and they numbered around 650,000, inhabiting many areas of the planet in relatively small communities. There was nothing like the metropolises we have here on Earth. Industry was present, although not on a large scale. All of their food was artificially-grown in large structures in the north. Although there were numerous animal species on Serpo, no meat was eaten and the Ebens found the idea appalling.

 

They did use some of the larger fauna as beasts of burden, though. It seems that intelligence warrants the subjugation of ‘lesser’ living things, no matter the planet. When considering the bigger picture, this does not bode well for us humans.

 

 

Transportation was done with the help of floating vehicles that relied on a power source that is unknown to humans. Pollution was virtually nonexistent and so was crime. While the Ebens had an army of sorts, no guns or any other weapons were ever seen by the human crew.

 

Each small community held meetings to discuss and resolve their internal issues but there was a central governing body that handled all the top-level decision-making.

 

Money was an unknown concept. So was capitalism or any other economic system based on differential levels of ownership. No commercial activity occurred, and instead of shops, stores and malls there were distribution centers. Each and every one of the Ebens were issued what they needed and everyone seemed pleased with the situation.

 

Things like death, religion, establishing a family and raising offspring were present albeit a bit different from human practices. The Ebens were not immortal and they too worshiped a Supreme Being. They also reportedly enjoyed playing team games and music was not unknown to them.

 

 

The Ebens did not evolve on Serpo. They had colonized the planet some 5,000 earth years prior to the events described here, after their initial home became threatened by intense volcanic activity. Having mastered spaceflight long before those cataclysmic events made them relocate, finding Serpo wasn’t an impossible feat.

 

They were no strangers to conflict and warfare either. The collective memory of the Ebens was marred with memories of a Great War fought against a hostile species from another planet. They had succeeded in eliminating the threat but at a great cost. The human crew speculated this was the reason why the total population numbered just 650,000 and what determined their aversion towards weapons.

 

As a spacefaring civilization, the Ebens were well-aware of the existence of other intelligent species in the far corners of our galaxy. Some were peaceful and some kept to themselves but the ones that are hostile made the subject of a stern warning. “Don’t attract their attention of those guys, we have neither the resources nor the interest to intervene should they set their eyes on your world” sounds sensible enough.

 

Despite the fact that the official report is said to stretch along 3,000 pages, much of the knowledge imparted by the settlers of Serpo was lost in translation and due to the human crew’s inability to comprehend certain concepts. Although scientists and linguists were chosen for the mission, they found it impossible to figure out parts of the Eben culture and most of their technology. And they weren’t allowed to bring anything back, despite it being the express will of their superiors.

 

Nothing is known about the defectors. For all we know, they could be alive and well, sipping on longevity elixirs and not regretting anything.

 

 

Attempts to contact the Ebens continued until 1988 but the only reply received was silence.

 

The men and women who returned had been exposed to high levels of radiation for extended periods of time and they suffered radiation-related illnesses as a result. The last surviving member of the Serpo exchange program died in a VA hospital in 2002. It appears there’s no direct way of determining the truth.

 

Wikipedia says there are no planets orbiting around the two Zeta Reticuli stars and that would seem to dismantle the entire theory. But it would be very unwise to think that Wikipedia is indeed neutral in its allegiance andcompletely out of the reach of the powers that be.

 

It would also be reckless to ignore that there are some inconsistencies in what we know about Project Serpo and some of the information allegedly brought back by the human crew legitimately raises suspicion. For example, the traits of their society loosely resemble those of our own. Is this evidence that intelligent life inherently follows a natural pattern and seeks to answer similar questions? Or do we chalk it off as the fabrication of someone seeking to disseminate a sensational story under the the umbrella of anonymity?

 

A third alternative is also possible. Project Serpo could be the modified echo of an interplanetary exchange program that indeed took place, its exact details lost or willfully suppressed. One thing is certain though: strange and covert operations do take place and will continue to do so, no matter what we believe or how big of a fuss we make about it.

Documentary provides new evidence for famous military UFO case

Two former military radar technicians have come forward to say a UFO was caught on radar and seen from the control tower of a U.S. military base in the U.K. that housed nuclear weapons. They make these claims in a new documentary called UFOs and Nukes: The Secret Link Revealed.

As the title implies, the documentary makes the argument that UFOs have an interest in nuclear facilities. It backs up this supposition with government documents and military witnesses who claim to have been present when UFOs were seen near nuclear weapons or nuclear storage areas. The documentary is the culmination of years of investigation by UFO researcher Robert Hastings, author of the book UFOs and Nukes: Extraordinary Encounters at Nuclear Weapons Sites.

The incident in which the radar technicians were involved took place at Royal Air Force (RAF) Base Bentwaters. RAF Woodbridge is nearby, and the Rendlesham Forest lies between them.  At the time, both bases were leased to the U.S. military.

The UFO incident began in the early morning of December 26, 1980. Lights were seen in the forest and two security policemen went to investigate. They reported coming upon an object with strange lights. One of the men approached the object and described it as a triangular craft hovering above the forest floor. After watching it for a few minutes, it moved up to the treetop and then shot off at a very fast speed.

A couple of nights later, the lights came back. This time, skeptical of the earlier UFO reports, Deputy Base Commander Charles Halt took a group of security policemen with him to investigate. They reported seeing a red light shaped like an eyeball move through the forest. It then split into five separate disc-shaped objects and they all flew off.

Soon after, they saw another disc-shaped object fly towards them. It stopped, hovering above them, and shot a laser-like beam down near their feet. The beam only lasted a few seconds, when it turned off, the UFO moved towards the weapons storage area. Over the radio, Halt could hear security personnel reporting that the object beamed the laser-like light into the bomb depot.

According to the documentary, at the time, RAF Bentwaters was the largest American tactical nuclear bomb depot in Europe.

In a recent interview on Open Minds UFO Radio, Hastings said back in 2006, he had taken notice that there was no testimony from air traffic controllers as to whether the object allegedly seen by Halt and the security personnel at RAF Bentwaters was caught on radar.

He then conducted research to find who would have been in the RAF Bentwaters control tower at the time. He eventually found them, and their testimony is quite startling. They tell their stories for the first time in the documentary, and report not only catching the object on radar, but they also saw it, and it was like nothing they had ever seen before.

The men’s names are Jim Carey and Ike Barker. In the documentary, Carey recalls catching the object on radar the night Halt was in the forest. He said, “I was just sitting there and I happened to see a dot come on the scope, and it just went one dot in the beginning, and another dot, another dot, and it was gone.”

The scope represented 120 miles, so crossing the screen so quickly indicated an object traveling at a very fast speed.

“All of a sudden, here it come back across again,” Carey recounted.  “It went one, two and then an immediate right hand turn and came right towards the base. I just said that can’t be one of ours. No jet at that speed can make an immediate right hand turn. Just absolutely phenomenal.”

Barker agreed, “It’s not like any radar target I have ever seen. When the sweep would hit the target, you would have the entire back of it would be like a solid line.”

“Traveling at an extremely high rate of speed, it passed over the control tower and then it stopped. I’ve never seen anything in my life like the maneuverability that happened with this object,” Barker continued.

At this point, the men were able to get a good look at the object. Barker described it as “orangish” in color. He recalled, “It sort of popped into my mind at the time that somebody is flying a basketball out here.”

“There were lights around the center of it, but it wasn’t like running lights or navigational lights. It was more like portholes, and you were seeing the light from the inside coming out. It wasn’t flashing lights or anything. It hovered momentarily, reversed its course, and went back out at a high rate of speed.”

As spectacular as this sighting sounds, the documentary goes on to present documents obtained from the former Soviet Union that show similar events happened there.

The amount of evidence in the form of documents and eye-witness testimony that is presented in the documentary makes a strong case for the UFO phenomenon, let alone for the possibility that these things are interested in our nuclear weapons.

A Pennsylvania witness at Philadelphia reported watching and videotaping a cross-shaped UFO hovering nearby, according to testimony in Case 75873 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness and his wife were traveling to the Food Truck Fest at Tamproom and 19^th in Philadelphia at 5:45 p.m. on April 16, 2016, when the incident occurred.

“We drove over there around 5:30 and parked our car on Lambert and West Porter street where they meet,” the witness stated.“After we parked our car, we start walking west on Porter and turned left and started walking north on 20th street. My wife made a comment about the moon being out overhead and I looked up and noticed this object not moving, just hovering.”

The witness described what they first saw.

“This was in the broad daylight with not a cloud in the sky. My wife and I both watched it hover for about one minute before it appeared to first come down lower from the sky. That is why we got excited because it went from hovering to moving downwards slowly. Then it stopped again and we got more excited. Then it changed directions and started moving southeast slowly and then it stopped again.”

The witness then began recording the object on his cell phone.

“It stayed stationary for a bit. The sun was bright and was hitting my cell phone screen and I could not tell if I was actually pointing my camera in the right direction. So I used the Moon, which was to the right of the object, as a reference. Once I saw the moon on my screen, I panned to the left slowly until I saw it appear as a dot on my screen. I zoomed out to give you a point of reference and you can see some buildings. Then I zoomed back as much as my cell phone camera could. I was wanting to watch this with my own eyes but it was hard because I wanted to make sure I was recording it.”

The object then began to pick up speed.

“The object starting moving east and picking up speed. This is when I put my cell phone down because I had to see this with my own eyes. As it moved father east, it started moving faster and faster and we could tell this object was large and because of how high it was away from us and how big it looked like from where we were standing. The object moved so fast that we eventually lost sight of it. I think we were excited to see one.This time in the broad daylight.”

The witness estimated the distance to the object.

“I would guess it was about 10,000 to 15,000 feet in the sky, but about one mile or less from us. It definitely had a shape to it which appeared to look like a ‘jack’ but maybe with four sides and not six. My wife drew a picture of the shape of what it looked like to us from our point of view. I’ll attach it here with the video. My wife watched it mostly with her own eyes as I was recording it. Unfortunately, I wish my cell phone had a better zoom and higher definition.”

Pennsylvania MUFON Field Investigator Theodore Bloch investigated and closed this case as an Unknown.

“The witness described himself as an amateur astronomer familiar with sky objects generally and with flares and drones (which drones he himself ‘pilots’ at times),” Bloch wrote in his report.“He was adamant that the movement characteristics of the sighted object could not have been a Chinese lantern or drone. He also stated that the object had a solid shape, which he described as a ‘jack’ (as in the kid’s game). He said his wife, who witnessed it with him and whose comments can be heard in the background to the video attached to the CMS submission, thought it looked more like a ‘cross’ and attached a drawing to the CMS submission. The video attachment clearly shows some kind of solid object. Based on the anomalous shape and movement, as well as the attached video evidence, the FI recommends classifying this sighting as UAV-Unknown.”

If you take video of 10 jets for 3 minutes each, I promise at least one will have a small UFO shot past. This one seem like its checking out the jet after it already flew through the contrail. It was testing the contrail for the pollutants and how damaging it may be.

Eyewitness states:
On November 7th, 2015 I was enjoying a barbecue in my backyard with my family when I saw a Boeing flying directly over my house heading in an easterly direction. The sky was cloudless and deep blue and the white vapor trails the Boeing made caught my attention and I grabbed the old 60D and snapped a couple of photographs of it. When I downloaded all the photographs on the memory card two months later and sorted them, I came across the photos I took of the Boeing. I then noticed a strange sphere in one of the photographs appearing to be right next to the Boeing which I did not see at the time I took the photos looking through the camera viewfinder. At first I thought it was some defect in the lens or a lens flare but when I examined the other three photos I found another photograph with the same sphere but this time at the opposite side of the Boeing and very faint. The other two photographs had no sphere in them. I then realized that this could be a UFO photographed by me unknowingly. I was excited about this and showed the photographs to a friend of mine working at a photo lab. He told me that it had nothing to do with lens flare and that I had actually photographed "something" and encouraged me to look into it. I regret not being able to give more information on the incident as I did not even know about this till more than two months after the event. The only other info I can offer is the exact coordinates (25°28'54.88"S & 30°57'30.03"E) as well as the exact time (First photo it appeared on in the series of four taken on Saturday, 7 November 2015, 11:06:48AM and the second photo it appeared on taken at 11:06:52AM, four seconds later). I have looked but could not find anything on the other two photos. I will however include all four photos in this post in the hope that someone with more specialized computer software might pick up something. In my opinion, someone on that flight had to have seen this thing as well as it appears to be flying at the same height as the Boeing. Hopefully it would be possible to get information on that flight and track down the pilots based on the time, direction and coordinates of the Boeing. PS. The first four photographs attached (IMG_0171, IMG_0172, IMG_0173 & IMG_0174) are uncompressed and unmodified.

Here is a cool report of a UFO over a neighbourhood in Philadelphia a few weeks ago. When I add contrast to the photo, the detail stands out more, but as I do, the sky becomes darker. You can see in the close up below, that the object is not perfectly round, but has a bit of an oval shape and a small dome on top. There is also a field around it, that looks like an electrical disturbance from the UFOs propulsion system. That also explains why a lot of UFO photos are blurry...the field around it causes that appearance.

Defying the Limits: Two Black Holes Eject Winds at a Quarter the Speed of Light

Researchers from the University of Cambridge observed ultra-luminous X-rays coming from two sources, possibly black holes, that are devouring their neighboring stars at extremely high rates, and spewing out gases that travel at a quarter the speed of light.

BLACK HOLES SPEWING OUT MATTER?

It’s an interesting time for astrophysicists, as so many new objects and phenomena keep popping up in their telescopes and observatories.

As an illustration, a new study shows two peculiar compact objects, possibly black holes, defying certain limits that astrophysicists have accepted for a long time now—namely, the rate at which they consume their hapless companion stars.

Researchers from the University of Cambridge were astonished when the data they gathered from the European Space Agency (ESA) pointed to two compact objects 22 million light-years away that are devouring their companion stars with gluttonous abandon, but most remarkable is that they’re spewing matter out at the same time at speeds of 70,000 km/s (43,500 mi/s).

That’s a quarter of the speed of light—and it’s the first time astronomers have seen this happen.

BREAKING THE LIMIT

Experts assert that black holes and other highly dense, compact bodies greedily suck in matter—particularly stars—and in the process of doing so an accretion disc forms around the object, which through frictional heating reaches intense temperatures and emits light at various wavelengths.

One of the unclear cases in these emissions is the existence of ultra-luminous X-rays, which are believed to emanate from supermassive black holes.

This study shows clear evidence that these two objects, possibly black holes or neutron stars, are also sources of these mysterious X-rays—generating them as they are being absorbed inwards, but also streamed outwards, appearing brighter than usual.

That’s very strange for black holes.

This defies the known Eddington limit, which dictates that a given mass can only absorb matter equally as it emits radiation.

The cause? Researchers say that the gases being absorbed at incredible rates by these great masses build up too much radiation pressure as they heat up faster and faster in the disc forming around these objects, even to a point of trapping the radiation before being driven out. The result is the high-velocity winds which, astronomers conjecture, surround the compact objects.

Furthermore, they say that the data on this newly discovered phenomenon might lead to understanding what really happens at the enigmatic cores of these objects.

The study is published in the journal Nature.

Physicists Send Particles Of Light Into The Past, Proving Time Travel Is Possible

The study of closed timelike curves (CTC’s) provides valuable insight into particles that can loop back on themselves, breaking free of linear time.

“One aspect of general relativity that has long intrigued physicists is the relative ease with which one can find solutions to Einstein’s field equations that contain closed timelike curves (CTCs)—causal loops in space–time that return to the same point in space and time.”(source)

The Science

Closed timelike curves are a necessary concept to understand this experiment.

CTCs are used to simulate powerful gravitational fields, like the ones produced by a spinning black hole, that could theoretically (based on Einstein’s theory of general relativity), warp the fabric of existence so that space-time bends back on itself. This creates a CTC, almost like a pathway to travel back through time.

The source of time travel speculation lies in the fact that our best physical theories seem to containno prohibitions on traveling backward through time. The feat should be possible based on Einstein’s theory of general relativity, which describes gravity as the warping of spacetime by energy and matter. An extremely powerful gravitational field, such as that produced by a spinning black hole, could in principle profoundly warp the fabric of existence so that spacetime bends back on itself. This would create a “closed timelike curve,” or CTC, a loop that could be traversed to travel back in time. (source)

Experiementing With CTC’s

Single particles of light (photons) to simulate quantum particles travelling through time were just used by scientists from the University of Queensland, Australia. They showed that one photon can pass through a wormhole and then interact with its older self. Their findings were published in Nature Communications. 

Much of their simulation revolved around investigating the “grandfather paradox,” a hypothetical scenario in which someone uses a CTC to travel back through time to murder her own grandfather, thus preventing her own later birth.

The Grandfather Paradox in Quantum Physics

Instead of a human being traversing a CTC to kill her ancestor, imagine that a fundamental particle goes back in time to flip a switch on the particle-generating machine that created it. If the particle flips the switch, the machine emits a particle—the particle—back into the CTC; if the switch isn’t flipped, the machine emits nothing.

Tim Ralph (quoted above) and his PhD student Martin Ringbauer simulated a Deutsch’s model of CTCs, according to Scientific American, “testing and confirming many aspects of the two-decades-old theory.” Although it’s just a mathematical simulation, the researchers (and their team/colleagues) emphasize that their model is mathematically equivalent to a single photon traveling through a CTC. Nothing has actually been sent back through time though; to do that, scientists would have to find a real CTC, which has yet to happen as far as we know. Of course, there always remains the possibility…

Een internationaal team van astronomen onder leiding van wetenschappers van de Luikse Universiteit (ULg) heeft op slechts veertig lichtjaar van ons in het sterrenbeeld Waterman drie levensvatbare exoplaneten gevonden. Het zijn tot nu toe de beste plaatsen om (met de huidige technologie) te zoeken naar leven buiten ons zonnestelsel. Mocht er leven op die planeten mogelijk zijn, betekent dat echter niet dat we die zomaar mogen claimen. We moeten rekening houden met het 'ruimteverdrag' dat vrede in de ruimte moet garanderen.

Ruimteverdrag

Het ruimteverdrag is van onschatbare waarde, omdat het vrede garandeert en omdat het heel moeilijk is om een dergelijk verdrag door bijna alle landen ter wereld te laten ondertekenen. Het verdrag werd ondertekend door 128 landen, waaronder de VS, China, Rusland en zelfs Noord-Korea. Andere verdragen zoals het 'maanverdrag', dat door de VS werd opgesteld, botsten op een njet van grote mogendheden. Het ruimteverdrag geldt dus als dé belangrijkste basis voor vrede in de ruimte. Maar wat houdt het verdrag dan juist in?

Habitat

Volgens het ruimteverdrag mag een land geen territorium claimen buiten de aarde. Het enige wat je wel mag claimen is de habitat die je zelf hebt opgebouwd. Mocht je bijvoorbeeld serres bouwen op de maan om gewassen te kweken, dan bezit je wel de serres, maar niet de grond waarop ze gebouwd zijn. Bovendien is het volgens het verdrag, dat vrede als hoofddoel heeft, ten strengste verboden militaire basissen te bouwen in de ruimte. 

Mocht je een nieuwe bewoonbare planet ontdekken, dan mag je er dus wel een habitat op bouwen, al beschermt het ruimteverdag die habitat niet. Iemand anders kan bijvoorbeeld je habitat inpalmen of er een vlak naast bouwen. 

Mogelijk moet het verdrag dus enigszins worden uitgebreid, mochten we ooit een nieuwe bewoonbare planeet ontdekken.

Verdrag uitbreiden

Het verdrag kan worden uitgebreid op verschillende manieren. Zo kunnen we het voorbeeld van de boorplatformen volgen, waarvan de eigenaars een bepaalde zone rond het platform controleren. Schepen hebben de toestemming nodig van de eigenaars om het platform te benaderen of te bezoeken. 

Ook voor het ISS-ruimtestation geldt die regel: bezoekende ruimteschepen moeten voor veiligheidsredenen eerst toestemming vragen aan het ISS voor ze mogen naderen. Mogelijk kunnen habitats ook een dergelijke veiligheidszone krijgen, mocht een nieuwe planeet ooit gekoloniseerd worden.

Een andere denkpiste is die van de functionele eigendom. Mocht je bijvoorbeeld beginnen met mineralen te ontginnen op de nieuwe planeet, dan is de mijn van jou zolang je ze blijft gebruiken. Mocht je de mijn ooit verlaten, dan zijn anderen vrij om ze over te nemen.

Ruimtekolonies zijn fragiel

Mochten we ooit een nieuwe planeet ontdekken, dan zullen we hoe dan ook rekening moeten houden met het ruimteverdrag. Het verdrag is immers het belangrijkste instrument om vrede in de ruimte te bewaren. Het is echter ook noodzakelijk om dat verdrag uit te breiden, al is het onduidelijk hoe dat dan zou gebeuren. 

Een ruimtekolonie zou hoe dan ook heel fragiel zijn. Een goede regulering is dus onontbeerlijk.
