Mysterious trailer teases Close Encounters of the Third Kind re-release

Mysterious trailer teases Close Encounters of the Third Kind re-release

World UFO Day may have just passed, but that doesn’t mean we can’t experience a few more Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

Sony Pictures released a mysterious trailer Monday titled “This means something,” meant to tease an exclusive theatrical re-release in time for its 40th anniversary, EW has learned.

The video — which you can watch above — features air traffic controllers tracking a colorful, unexplained craft of some kind slowly descending before simply disappearing. Interspersed throughout are “flashes” of scenes from the 1977 movie (below). In the final seconds, the site address for WeAreStillNotAlone.comflashes across the screen, with the page it leads to asking visitors to “sign up” for news on UFO sightings.

The title itself is a reference to an iconic line from the movie which Richard Dreyfuss’ Roy Neary utters after building the famous mashed potato replicaof the Devils Tower (a rock formation that is one of Wyoming’s national monuments). The Steven Spielberg-directed movie told the story of Neary’s determined attempts to contact alien intelligence (a.k.a. having a close encounter of the third kind) after he witnesses a UFO.

No word yet when Close Encounters‘ theatrical return will be, but it’s worth noting the anniversary is on Nov. 16.

Who can you thank for ‘flying saucers’?

Who can you thank for ‘flying saucers’?

Idaho pilot Kenneth Arnold who saw 'Supersonic Flying Saucers'

Before June 24, 1947, terms such as UFOs and flying saucers had not entered popular vocabulary.

Then, on that afternoon 70 years ago, it all changed because of Kenneth Arnold: “Supersonic Flying Saucers Sighted by Idaho Pilot.”

Arnold reported seeing near Mount Rainier nine “circular-type” objects flying in formation at more than twice the speed of sound.

His was the first widely reported UFO sighting in this country, and it set off a wave of other reported sightings.

In a now-declassified document, the Air Force Materiel Command wrote it off: “The report cannot bear even superficial examination, therefore, must be disregarded.”

Another Air Force document concluded, “It is the Air Force conclusion that the objects of this sighting were due to a mirage.”

For Arnold, it stung.

He didn’t consider himself some kind of kook. He had more than 4,000 hours of mountain high-altitude pilot time; he was in the Idaho search and rescue.

“I have been subjected to ridicule, much loss of time and money, newspaper notoriety, magazine stories, reflections on my honesty, my character, my business dealings,” Arnold wrote in his 1952 book, Coming of the Saucers.

A long time ago, in 1977, I interviewed Arnold after reaching him by phone.

He died in 1984 at age 68, and in all those years, and with me, he never wavered in his descriptions.

“I made my report because I thought it was my duty. It was the only proper and American thing to do. I saw what I saw,” he said.

You can draw a direct line between what Arnold repeatedly recounted in detail to FBI and military investigators and our collective fascination with the possibility that aliens have visited us.

That direct connection goes from Area 51 allegedly hiding an alien craft, to the Roswell UFO Incident; and from movies such as Close Encounters of the Third Kind, to the TV series The X-Files.

It’s become so much a part of our culture that even the CIA website has a section titled “Take a Peek Into Our “X-Files” that is chock-full of declassified files.

The CIA helpfully lists “Top 5 CIA Documents Mulder Would Love To Get His Hands On,” and “Top 5 CIA Documents Scully Would Love To Get Her Hands On.”

Interested in a 1952 drawing of “flying saucers over Belgian Congo uranium mines?” It’s in the CIA files.

Unassuming salesman

Arnold was an unlikely candidate to become embroiled in such a controversy.

He lived in Meridian, Idaho, and sold fire-extinguishing equipment. About as unusual as his life got was that he piloted a small airplane to get to his clients around the Northwest.

A month after Arnold was in the news, a now-declassified report made in July 1947 by Army Air Force Counter-Intelligence Corps Officer Frank M. Brown said, “Mr. Arnold is a man of 32 years of age, being married and the father of two children. It is the personal opinion of the interviewer that Mr. Arnold actually saw what he saw. To go further, if Mr. Arnold can write a report of the character that he did while not having seen the objects that he claimed he saw, it is the opinion of the interviewer that Mr. Arnold is in the wrong business, that he should be writing Buck Rogers fiction.”

That was one of the few sympathetic portrayals in government documents of Arnold’s sighting.

In another declassified intelligence report in July 1947, First Lt. Hal L. Eustace of the Army Air Corps put Arnold’s report as part of “silly-season episodes.”

The lieutenant wrote that Arnold “seems to be reasonably well balanced, although excitable, and has no apparent ulterior motive. other than to prove he is not ‘nuts.’?”

The lieutenant wrote that Arnold revealed “an antagonistic attitude toward the Army” by stating, “Well, if the Army doesn’t know what they are, it sure ought to be trying to find out!”

Bright flash lit the sky

Arnold’s sighting of the craft was the 1947 version of a story going viral.

“It was a beautiful day. Just as clear as a bell,” Arnold said. He was flying from Chehalis to Yakima and decided to spend an hour or so searching for a downed C-46 Marine transport that had crashed into the southwest side of Mount Rainier.

There was a $5,000 reward for finding it.

It was at 3 p.m., he remembered, “when a very bright flash lit up the plane and the sky around me.”

At first, Arnold thought it was the sun reflecting off another plane.

“But the flash happened again, and that’s when I saw where it was coming from. It came spasmodically from a chain of nine circular-type aircraft way up from the vicinity of Mount Rainier,” said Arnold.

“I could not find any tails on these things. They didn’t leave a jet trail behind them. I judged their size to be at least 100 feet in widespan. I thought it was a new type of missile.”

His plane had a big sweep 24-hour clock on the instrument panel. Arnold measured that the craft covered the distance between Mount Rainier and Mount Adams in 1 minute 42 seconds.

“That figured out to something like 1,760 miles an hour, which I could hardly believe. I knew that figure couldn’t be entirely accurate, but I’d say it was within a couple of hundred miles accurate,” he said.

From Yakima, Arnold then flew to an air show in Pendleton, Oregon. The next day, on June 25, he stopped by the local newspaper, the East Oregonian. He wanted to know if the military had been testing secret warplanes in the area.

He ended up talking to reporter Bill Bequette, who, in subsequent years, remembered that Arnold “came off as honest, level headed and credible,” said a story in the East Oregonian.

So Bequette wrote a brief story about what Arnold said he witnessed.

But the brief also went out to The Associated Press, got picked up by numerous newspapers, and the furor began. For the first time, a mass-media story and subsequent headlines used the term, “flying saucers.”

There were no reported riches for Arnold because of his notoriety. Instead, he complained to Frank Brown, the Air Force investigator, “that his business had suffered greatly . at every stop in his business routes, large groups of people were waiting to question him .”

Brown concluded his report, “Mr. Arnold stated further that if he, at any time in the future, saw anything in the sky, to quote Mr. Arnold . ‘If I ever saw a ten story building flying through the air I would never say a word about it,’ due to the fact that he has been ridiculed by the press to such an extent that he is practically a moron in the eye of the majority of the population of the United States.”

A mystery to this day

Despite that statement to Brown, in the coming years Arnold was driven to prove he was right.

There were “many long hours of fruitless flying with a camera, trying and failing to find anything like his saucers again,” says Martin Shough, a well-regarded researcher of the UFO phenomena who has written a detailed analysis of Arnold’s account.

In an email, Shough, who lives in the Highlands of Scotland, says, “I am resigned to never knowing what Arnold saw.”

He concludes, “Seventy years on, when so much of the flying saucer mythology that Kenneth Arnold triggered has been explained away, it is somewhat embarrassing that Arnold’s own sighting remains obstinately resistant.

“But there it is.”

PLATO Deep-Space Observatory Will Search for Exoplanets and Alien Life

ESA
IN BRIEF
PLATO, a deep-space observatory designed to search for exoplanets, has been approved for construction by the European Space Agency. Researchers aim to launch PLATO in 2026 and are particular interested in using it to discover potentially habitable worlds.

SEARCHING THE STARS

The European Space Agency’s Science Programme Committee has approved the Planetary Transits and Oscillations of stars (PLATO) mission to move into the construction phase. They aim to launch this deep-space observatory in 2026 with the goal of “discovering and characterizing Earth-sized planets and super-Earths orbiting Sun-like stars in the habitable zone” — although it “could eventually lead to the detection of extraterrestrial life,” according to a University of Warwick press release.

The observatory will have 26 telescopes on board and will be launched 1.5 million km (932,000 miles) into space, where, according to a mission summary, it will conduct “Ultra-high precision, long (up to several years), uninterrupted photometric monitoring in the visible band of very large samples of bright (mV ≤11) stars.” This will provide unprecedented data on distant planets.

The project will be undertaken by the University of Warwick, England, and includes an important follow-up aspect for verifying PLATO’s data. PLATO’s resolution will not be high enough to tell conclusively when it is detecting an exoplanet, so researchers will need to check the readings to be sure they are not indicating noise or a different spacial anomaly before more resources are committed to investigating that part of space.

THE PANTHEON PLATO WILL JOIN

PLATO will be one of two missions that explicitly seek habitable planets in the galaxy — the other being Kepler, which worryingly went into emergency mode in 2015. Kepler has now detected 4,034 planets, of which 2,335 have been verified as exoplanets. Of the roughly 50 candidates that are near-Earth size and orbit in habitable zones, more than 30 have been verified as capable of supporting life.

NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has also been detecting hospitable worlds, but this was not its primary function — instead its aim, as stated on the NASA website, is to “observe astronomical objects and phenomena more consistently and with better detail than generally attainable from ground-based observatories,” which can include nebula, galaxies, and black holes.

The main agency in charge of another form of cosmic exploration — the search for alien life — is the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence institute (SETI). While SETI has no satellites in space, it is attempting to communicate with extraterrestrial life by building huge radio transmitters and receivers, which include the Southern SERENDIP and the Allen Telescope Array. With all of these eyes on the sky, it may be just a few years until we discover alien life.

MIMIC reveals huge unknown anomaly above the Earth flying towards Antarctica

MIMIC reveals huge unknown anomaly above the Earth flying towards Antarctica

A huge anomaly that looks nearly exactly like that of a large asteroid or possibly an enormous piece of space debris has shown up on the MIMIC map of July 4, 2017 first appearing at just below the equator.

MIMIC%2Bwave%2Banomaly%2BAntarctica.jpg

The anomaly appears to originate at a steep incline off of the west coast of Africa flying all the way across the South Atlantic Ocean.

Although this anomaly is different from the waves/anomalies which have been caught in the past, it clearly makes a ‘bee-line’ towards Antarctica like all the waves/anomalies before.

Incredible images of transparent vehicle in the sky over Kaufman, Texas

Incredible images of transparent vehicle in the sky over Kaufman, Texas

While driving on the Highway 175 near Kaufman in Texas the witness noticed a shiny object in the sky. At first he thought it was a plane but there was no sound and strange enough the object did not move.

transparent%2Bplane%2Bsky%2B%2B%25281%2529.jpg

He quickly took two repeat images of the shiny object before it suddenly was gone.

After looking the images he was shocked at what appeared in the images what looks like a transparent vehicle. The images were taken last year, July 19, 2016 and submitted to Mufon, case 84792.

transparent%2Bplane%2Bsky%2B%2B%25282%2529.jpg

Note: It reminds me the stunning image captured by a resident of Vienna in Austria in 2014 of a huge transparent vehicle floating above the clouds for 2 minutes before it was gone.
transparent%2Bplane%2Bsky%2B%2B%25283%2529.jpg
Some time ago, Airbus has unveiled its vision for flight in 40 years' time that includes see-through walls, holographic gaming and morphing seats but in this case it seems unlikely that the photographer captured images of such a transparent plane of the future or it must be the transparent vehicle still is in its development phase.

EXTRATERRESTRIAL LIFE REVEALED ON RUSSIAN DECLASSIFIED SECRET PHOTOGRAPHS OF VENUS

EXTRATERRESTRIAL LIFE REVEALED ON RUSSIAN DECLASSIFIED SECRET PHOTOGRAPHS OF VENUS

700_3a0788fe2054aa90056e4b9d03bdf59a.jpg?v=1499189022

A series of photographs have been released by the Space Research Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences. The images had been captured by the Venera probe and they allegedly reveal evidence that there are organisms that are alive on Venus.

Venus is thought to be among the most inhospitable places in the solar system for human beings and is the second planet from the sun and the most similar of planets in the solar system in regards to size along with structure to Earth. However, the structure of it is not anything at all like that of Earth.

VENUS HAS TEMPERATURE OF 480 CELSIUS

article-2090556-116B1ED7000005DC-909_634x607.jpg

Venus is the hottest of planets in the solar system and this is down to the atmosphere, which has a greenhouse gas that traps heat which is about 97% carbon dioxide. The temperature is said to be about 480 degrees Celsius, constantly, and this has heat enough to be able to melt lead and is hotter than Mercury, which is the closest planet to the Sun.

RELATED ARTICLES

Leonid Ksanfomaliti, the doctor of physical and mathematical science from the Institute for Space Research, said that the photographs had been captured about 30 years ago and they show movement on the surface of Venus of objects that are very strange.

Of course, NASA 'debunked' the discovery of what might be proof of life on Venus. They said that the creature that Ksanfomaliti said was like a scorpion, was, in fact, nothing more than noise in a second-hand photograph, which had not been seen in the original photograph. They also said that the disc that had been seen moving over the surface of Venus was a lens cap.

This has not stopped Ksanfomaliti believing that in the photographs there is a disk, along with what was described as being a black flap, and a creature that has the shape of a scorpion, moving in the images and moving directly in front of the camera that is onboard Venera 13.

OBJECTS ON SURFACE OF VENUS WERE SAID TO EMERGE, FLUCTUATE AND DISAPPEAR

Reports from a news agency in Russia said that Ksanfomaliti had told a magazine in Russia that they had all emerged and then fluctuated and finally disappeared. He went on to say that if people forgot about the theories that life cannot exist on Venus, then the morphological features of the objects lead people to believe that they are actually living forms.

NASA photo analyst disagrees with Ksanfomaliti and he said that what Ksanfomaliti saw on the photographs is more than likely nothing more than a disc that would have come from the spacecraft. He went on to say that there were two cameras on Venera-13, one of which was situated on the back and the other one to the front. One image showed the lens cap from the camera at the back, not a lens cap that had moved.

NASA CLAIMS NOTHING COULD SURVIVE ON SURFACE OF VENUS

NASA went on to say that there was absolutely no way that anything would be able to survive on the surface of Venus. Scientists have said that perhaps once in the very distant past, Venus may have been able to support life and this would have been during a time when the planet had giant oceans. This would be well before the greenhouse effect and the creation of the high temperatures that exist over Venus today.

article-2090556-116BEFC9000005DC-455_634x334.jpg

There are theories that perhaps Earth and Venus may both have started out very similar. It has been suggested that perhaps there might have been plenty of water on the planet Venus and it may have been possible that there was a large amount of carbon dioxide on Earth. This came from a paper that was published in2004 by Professor Andrew Ingersoll from Caltech.

PERHAPS THERE ARE ALIEN BEINGS WHO LIKE HIGH TEMPERATURES

One of the biggest issues with scholars and scientists who are looking for extra-terrestrial life in the universe and solar system is that for life to have been able to exist, the planet would have to have a climate along with conditions that are very similar to those on Earth.

article-2090556-116B5B28000005DC-82_634x319.jpg

However, it has been suggested that it may be possible that on Venus, or perhaps elsewhere, there are beings living who do actually need temperatures that are scorching, in order to be able to survive. Perhaps they are beings that are able to breathe carbon dioxide and do not rely on oxygen or water in order to be able to survive. Perhaps if people want to be successful in searching for aliens then they need to alter the patterns and conditions of the search.

The Marden-Stoner Study on Commonalitie-Among UFO Abduction Experiencers

The Marden-Stoner Study on Commonalitie-Among UFO Abduction Experiencers

In 2011, Denise Stoner and I met to discuss the commonalities that alien abduction experiencers share. As longtime abduction investigators/researchers, we were aware of certain repeating patterns of information and characteristics. The pertinent literature, the academic social science studies and the works of David Jacobs, PhD, Thomas Bullard, PhD, and the late Budd Hopkins, John Mack, MD, and others had identified several commonalities among abduction experiencers. But we had not been able to locate an academic study that was specific to our particular interests. I earned a B.A. degree in social work from the University of New Hampshire in 1971, and participated in graduate studies in education at the University of Cincinnati and U.N.H., while working as a teacher and education services coordinator. My primary academic interest has been in social research and psychology. I left my job in 1990 to pursue a career as a UFO investigator, researcher and writer. As the niece of Betty and Barney Hill and witness to the primary evidence and aftermath of their alien abduction in 1961, I had been aware of the UFO phenomenon for more than fifty years. My book (with nuclear physicist/scientific ufologist Stanton T. Friedman), Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience was published in 2007 and our second book Science Was Wrong was published in 2010. I had surveyed the psychological studies on self identified abduction experiencers for a chapter on alien abduction in SWW and a research paper I prepared for the MUFON 2010 International UFO Symposium Proceedings. In addition to my independent research, I am also Florida MUFON’s Director of Abduction Studies and the National Director of the Abduction Research Team.

Denise has an educational background in business and psychology, and is a certified hypnotist specializing in regressive hypnosis. For 12 years Denise did background investigations for the military on recruits seeking highly classified clearances for work on nuclear submarines. Prior to retirement, Denise moved to a military research facility where she was the training coordinator for several hundred military and civilian employees. For the past several years, Denise has expanded her work with UFO research and investigation. She is an independent abduction researcher and hosts a study group for abduction experiencers and public interest meetings on the UFO phenomenon in general. She is Florida MUFON’s Asst. Director of Abduction Studies and the former Chief Investigator for the state.

At our study’s inception our stated goals were to benefit abduction experiencers by identifying specific traits that they have in common with other experiencers, and to expand the UFO research community’s knowledge of alien abduction phenomena. The most efficient scientific method for obtaining this information, in our opinion, was through the use of simple straightforward questionnaires, designed to identify commonalities among the UFO abduction experiencers. Each of us brought to the table knowledge of several unique, unpublicized characteristics of the alien abduction experience. The commonalities study would ascertain how widespread these commonalities are across the abduction experiencer population. We developed three questionnaires: The “UFO Abduction Experiencer Questionnaire” listed 45 multiple choice questions pertaining to experiencer’s demographics, abduction memories, emotional responses, physiological responses, and psychic phenomena. The second questionnaire, the “Abduction Experiencer E.T. Technology Questionnaire” would increase our knowledge of E.T. technology. The third, “Commonalities among Non-Abductees Questionnaire” queried individuals who denied having been abducted by aliens. It was developed after the first two questionnaires had been available for several months, and a commonalities trend had emerged. The 16 multiple choice questions would determine whether or not some of the commonalities among abduction experiencers are common across the general population. We established a minimum sample size of 50 completed questionnaires for abduction experiencers (AE) and 25 for non-abduction experiencers (NAE). There were 54 participants in the “UFO Abduction Experiencer Questionnaire”, but 4 questionnaires could not be tallied because they were too incomplete.

The “Abduction Experiencer E.T. Technology Questionnaire” study is not yet complete, as there have been only 24 responses to date. This can be attributed to the fact that a much smaller percentage of experiencers have clear recall of the craft’s interior and the technology observed. This part of the study is ongoing. Participants for our study were solicited via the MUFON UFO Journal and several alien abduction and UFO oriented websites. We also appeared on several radio shows and invited listeners to participate. Last, there were questionnaires at my vendor table at several UFO conferences and at Denise’s meetings. I posted the questionnaires, a letter of explanation, and an informed consent notice on my website at www.kathleen-marden.com. We communicated to participants that all questionnaires would be kept in a locked and secure location and destroyed at the end of the study. All personal identifying information that was volunteered would remain confidential. As a cautionary measure, we advised all potential participants that they should only complete the questionnaire if they could do so without feeling uncomfortable.

Demographics

Nearly twice as many women (32), as men (18) completed the “Abduction Experiencer Questionnaire”. Does this indicate that abduction is far more prevalent among women? Not necessarily so. Statistical evidence indicates that men are less likely than women to answer surveys of any kind. But this trend was not supported when we tallied the results of the “Commonalities among Non-Abductees Questionnaire”. The majority of respondents were men (15) as opposed to women (9). If trends in human behavior have not skewed the results, it suggests that more women than men have been abducted by aliens. This finding has been widely reported by other researchers. We were interested in identifying possible trends among age groups, partly due to the fact that a significant number of abduction experiencers in the 50+ age group had reported their experiences to us within recent months. Our intuition was correct. 44% of the AE Group participants were born in the 1950’s, although only 20% of the NAE Group was in the same age group. This figure drops dramatically for those born in the 1940’s (18%) and the 1960’s (26%). Could these statistics indicate that the human abduction program began slowly, perhaps during the 1950’s and 60’s, and was in full swing beginning in the 1970’s? Could this signify that the alien abduction program is winding down? Or could it be that younger people are less likely to fill out questionnaires? Only 12% of the AE Group respondents were under age 40. Yet 24% of the NAE Group was under 40.

We asked each group to identify the size of their area of residence. A survey of the relevant literature indicated that more UFOs were sighted in less populated areas than in large cities in the 1960’s and 70’s. Also, the majority of well investigated, famous abduction cases (Villas Boas, Hill, Walton, Buff Ledge, Casey CO., etc.), took place in rural areas. Yet the late Budd Hopkins wrote of alien abduction in New York City. We wanted to test whether or not a trend could be established. . AE Group—Area of Residence: Rural (15), Small Town (13), Suburban (13 ), Urban (9) . NAE Group—Area of Residence: Rural (3), Small Town (5), Suburban (12), Urban (5) The AE participants’ area of residence was fairly evenly divided among abduction experiencers, with 30% residing in a rural area, 26% in small towns, 26% in suburbs, and 18% in an urban area. 12% of the NAE group resides in a rural area, 20% in a small town, 48% in the suburbs and 20% in an urban area. These statistics indicate that no trend could be established. Slightly more experiencers (12%) are taken from a rural environment than from an urban area. But the difference is not statistically significant.

We wanted to determine if alien abduction is more prevalent one area of the US than another. . AE Group—Time Zone: Eastern (33), Central (10), Mountain (2), Pacific (4), Eastern Australia (1) . NAE Group—Time Zone: Eastern (20), Central (4), Mountain (0), Pacific (0), British (1) 66% of the AE group resides in the Eastern Time Zone, 20% Central, 4% Mountain, 8% Pacific, and 2% in foreign countries. These statistics are a bit perplexing. We asked, “Are there more abduction experiencers living in the Eastern US than in all other regions combined? Or did more people in the Eastern US listen to our radio interviews?” The NAE questionnaire answered this question. 80% reside in the Eastern Time Zone, 16% Central, 0% Mountain, 0% Pacific, and 4% in Great Britain. The majority of participants in both groups reside in the Eastern US. Therefore, the AE group presents no valid evidence that more experiencers reside in the Eastern US than elsewhere. The majority of abduction experiencers believe that they have been taken repeatedly over a number of years or throughout their lifetime.

We wanted to determine how frequently contact occurs. How many times do you think you’ve been taken?

*1 time only (2), 2-5 (8), 6-10 (4), More than 10 (25), Not certain (8), no answer (3) 64%

25 of 39 of those who could quantify their abductions stated that they have been taken more than 10 times. The next largest group was those who could not state a specific number, followed by the 2-5 range. This is a significant finding because the majority of abduction experiencers believe that their alien contact occurs periodically throughout their lifetime. Only two participants stated that they had been taken only one time. This is interesting because their answers on the questionnaire revealed that they had little in common with multiple abduction experiencers. Many experiencers believe that they have been taken since they were small children. We asked for this information.

* Age when first abduction occurred? Under 5 (18), 5-9 (10), 10-19 (7), Over 20 (7), Not sure (8) 83%

35 of 42 of the respondents who could qualify their age at the time of their first abduction indicated that they were under age 20 when their first abduction occurred. 51% (18 of 35) were under 5. In another question we asked how frequently their visitations had occurred. 68% stated that their abductions occurred most frequently when they were under age 30. However, a surprising 21% of the over 40 group stated that their contacts are still frequent. A clear pattern of frequency across all age groups could not be established. Only 20% stated that they had been taken more than one time per month. An equal number are not sure how often they’ve been visited by ETs. Others replied from one time per month to 2-3 times per year.

Abduction Memories

This section of the questionnaire is divided into four parts with subcategories. 1. Conscious recall 2. Emotional responses 3. Physiological responses 4. Psi phenomena

Conscious recall

* 88% stated that their abduction memories were consciously recalled; 56% through dreams; 36% through hypnosis; 16% through other means such as flashbacks.

* 67% stated that they consciously recalled (not with hypnosis), the observation of an unconventional craft at less than 1000 feet prior to an abduction. . 56% stated that they consciously recalled (not with hypnosis), the observation of non-human entities immediately prior to an abduction while they were outside their home. 76% indicated that they were not alone when they were taken.

* 62% of the witnesses had conscious recall for at least part of the experience.

* 43% stated that witnesses reported the observation of a UFO near their house, vehicle, tent, etc. prior to or during their abduction.

* 58% stated that they are aware of having been examined on an alien craft.

These highly significant statistics reveal that the majority of the respondents had conscious recall of at least one abduction experience and were not alone when it occurred. More than half remembered observing a craft at less than 1000 feet and non-human entities prior to at least one abduction experience. We are often led by media sources to believe that the majority of abduction experiencers are procured exclusively from their bedrooms and have no witnesses. The Marden-Stoner study indicates that this perception is false.

Emotional Responses

(These open ended questions were not conducive to statistical analysis.)

* We asked, “What is your typical response to abduction?” More than one response was permitted. The most predominant reply was fear (26), followed by curiosity (23). 12 indicated that they felt despair and 11 felt pleasure. (More than one response was permitted.)

*We asked, “How did you feel after an abduction experience?” 15 stated that they felt angry. 15 felt tired, exhausted or physically drained and unwell. 11 were fearful. Only 3 felt peaceful.

We wanted to test several hypotheses pertaining to emotional stability as a factor in alien abduction experiences. Is there an increased sense of sadness among experiencers? Are there more mood swings among this group? Is there mood consistency throughout one’s lifetime? Respondents were permitted to check more than one answer.

* AE Group—On a daily basis, how would you describe your mood? Happy (15), Sad (7), Frequent mood swings (6), Without unusual highs and lows (25)

* NAE Group –On a daily basis, how would you describe your mood? Happy (15), Sad (0), Frequent mood swings (4), Without unusual highs and lows (6).

* AE Group—As a child, how would you describe your mood? Happy (13), Sad (13), Frequent mood swings (5), Without unusual highs and lows (14), Anxious (7).

* NAE Group—As a child, how would you describe your mood? Happy (10), Sad (0), Frequent mood swings (4), Without unusual highs and lows (10), Anxious (2).

The majority of respondents in both groups stated that they are happy or do not have unusual highs or lows. It is interesting that a higher percentage of the NAE group reported frequent mood swings on a daily basis than the AE group. But a small percentage of the the AE group reported that they experienced more sadness as adults. Several of the “sad” and “frequent mood swings” AE respondents reported that they had been the victims of childhood abuse. Their feelings of sadness and their mood swings have persisted throughout their lifetime. This group was more likely to report abuse by their ET captors. Additionally, those who reported traumatic memories of being abused by ETs are more likely to feel sad as adults. The majority of respondents reported that they used one or more coping mechanisms to deal with their fear or anxiety due to their abduction experiences. Only 3 reported that they have no fear. Coping mechanisms that give relief to experiencers include talking with a supportive, non- judgmental person, meditation or relaxation exercises, prayer and writing about their experiences.

We were interested in the sleep patterns of abduction experiencers. Did they have difficulty falling asleep and/or staying asleep? Could this be related to a fear of abduction? Or were other factors involved?

* Do you have difficulty falling asleep? Yes (37) No (13) . Staying asleep? Yes (35), No (14). (1 respondent did not answer the second part of the question.)

74% of the AE group had difficulty falling asleep and 71% had difficulty staying asleep. 7 of the 8 people (16%) who indicated that they sleep well throughout the night attributed it to overcoming their fear of abduction. This is a very small percentage, but it might be an indicator that the loss of fear improves sleep quality. Only 1 person who reported the absence of fear has difficulty falling and staying asleep and that person is in the 60+ group. We speculated that since 44% of the respondents are in the 50-59 group, and since older people tend to experience more sleep problems, that the results might have been skewed by this factor. The evidence did not bear this out. In fact, 5 of the restful sleepers are in the 50-59 age range. It is interesting, however, that all but one person in the over 60 group reported sleep problems regardless of whether or not they were fearful. 2 individuals in the under 40 group reported that they do not have sleep difficulties, and neither has a fear of abduction. The remaining 4 had difficulty falling asleep, but once they were asleep they were able to sleep through the night. (These questions were not on the NAE questionnaire.)

Physiological Responses

Alien implants have been widely reported in UFO abduction literature thanks to the work of Dr. Roger Leir and Derrel Sims. We wanted to ascertain the percentage of experiencers that suspected they have a palpable alien implant. It was also important to us to ask where the implants are located in the human body. 40 of the 50 respondents replied to this question. . We asked, “Can you feel a foreign object in your body that you suspect is an alien implant?” Yes (21), No (19). If yes, where is it located? 53% believe that they can feel an alien implant in their body. The majority of participants indicated that it is located in their head, including the following: temple, eye, nose, behind ear, inside ear, groin, and eyebrow. Other areas mentioned are in the spine, lower leg, hand, chest and vagina. Unexplained marks, such as patterned bruises, scoop marks, puncture wounds, and rashes are commonly reported by abduction experiencers. (I am collecting and cataloguing experiencers’ photographic evidence.)

* AE Group—Have you awoken with unexplained marks on your body?” Yes (40), No (8), No answer (2)

* NAE Group—Have you awoken with unexplained marks on your body? Yes (5), No (20).

A highly significant 83% of the AE Group stated that they had awoken with unexplained marks on their bodies, whereas only 20% of the NAE group replied in the affirmative. Long, thin bruises were most often found on women’s calves, thighs or buttocks, suggesting finger marks. Patterned bruises were found on the upper arm. Scoop marks were reported on arms, ankles, behind knees, or on feet. Puncture wounds were found on hands and rib cages, although one woman reported a vaginal puncture wound. Burn marks were on upper backs and sunburn like rashes were reported, sometimes on the entire body.

Several participants mentioned plastic-like filaments, the size of a strand of hair, coming from various locations on their bodies.

* We asked,” Has your nose bled immediately following an abduction? Yes (26 ), No (23), not sure (1) A significant 52% replied in the affirmative. Several mentioned significant scarring in their nasal cavity that had been of concern to their physicians. One mentioned that his physician found a strange metal object high in the respondent’s nasal passage.

* We asked, “Have you noticed strange skin rashes immediately following an abduction?” Yes (17), No (29), Not sure (4)

37% of those who answered yes or no have noticed rashes on their body following an encounter. Earlier in the history of alien abduction, burns on one’s neck or upper back, hair loss and conjunctivitis were reported. An example of this is the 1976 Casey County, KY abduction of Elaine Thomas, Louise Smith and Mona Stafford. We wanted to know if these problems have persisted.

* We asked, “Have you ever suffered burns, hair loss, or conjunctivitis following an abduction?” Yes (11), No (34), Not sure (4)

22% of the respondents stated that they had suffered burns, hair loss or conjunctivitis following an abduction experience. One participant stated that her sunburn-like rash was accompanied by a pins and needles tingling sensation after an abduction in 1978. She and several others reported that one or both eyes were red and swollen following a contact experience. One participant stated that she suffered a combination of all three physical affects in 1988. We were interested in determining whether or not participants had undergone changes in their blood chemistry or bleeding disorders after an abduction experience.

* We asked, “Has your doctor noted changes in your blood chemistry, blood clotting easily, or bleeding too freely after an abduction?” Yes (9), No (41)

One respondent was diagnosed with a clotting disorder. Another mentioned problems with vitamin D and iron absorption. Others mentioned consistently high white blood cell counts.

Our next question did not pertain specifically to our research findings and we did not anticipate the result.

* AE Group—Do you crave excessive amounts of salt? Yes (29), No (18), No answer (3)

* NAE Group—Do you crave excessive amounts of salt? Yes (3), No (22)

62% of the AE Group craves salt, whereas only 12% of the NAE Group does. Dehydration is the most common cause of salt cravings. Although rare, Addison’s disease is caused when the adrenal gland does not produce enough of the hormone cortisol. One might speculate that if the adrenal glands are continually tapped by ongoing stress due to alien abduction, it could lead to adrenal distress that is characterized by symptoms of fatigue, insomnia and salt cravings. However, this is another condition that is best studied by the medical community.

The following questions regarding physical affects were on the questionnaire. The answers are self explanatory.

* After your abduction did you notice any of the following? 1.More acute hearing? Yes 28% 2.More sensitive to light? Yes 56% 3.More allergies? Yes 36% 4.More fluctuation in your mood? Yes 34%

* Has your doctor noted changes in your blood chemistry, such as blood clotting easily, or bleeding too freely after an abduction? Yes 18%, No 82%

The following questions were asked of the AE and NAE Groups:

* AE Group—Do you suffer from migraine headaches? Yes (20), No (26), No reply (4)

* NAE Group—Do you suffer from migraine headaches? Yes (2), No (23) 43%

20 of 46 of the AE Group suffers from migraine headaches (moderate to severe pulsing headaches that last 4-72 hours and worsen with physical activity, whereas only 8% of the NAE Group does. Medical studies indicate that only 10-12% of the general population suffers from migraines. This is a highly significant finding indicating that abduction experiencers suffer from migraine headaches at a considerably higher rate than the non-abduction experiencers that participated in our study, and the general population.

Gynecological problems among female abduction experiencers have been widely reported in UFO abduction literature. We wanted to obtain statistics on the prevalence of these disorders.

* AE Group—If you are a female, have you experienced gynecological problems? Yes (22), No (10)

* NAE Group—If you are a female, have you experienced gynecological problems? Yes (3 ), No (6)

A significant 69% of the AE Group reported that they had experienced gynecological problems, whereas 33% of the NAE Group made the same report. Two respondents from the AE Group mentioned that they had tested positive for pregnancy, but then were not pregnant, and there was no cramping or bleeding. The sample size in the NAE Group is too small to draw an acceptable comparison. We found it interesting, however, that three of the women in this group that answered “yes” had more in common with the AE group than the NAE group on all of the questions.

Several years ago, a study revealed that a high percentage of abduction experiencers suffer from Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome, sometimes called Chronic or Reactivating Mononucleosis. Affecting less than 1% of the US population, CFIDS can be a devastating disorder. 2.5% of the US population has the symptoms, but no formal diagnosis. These include debilitating fatigue that is not improved by bed rest; problems with concentration and short term memory; flu-like symptoms; word finding problems; reading retention difficulties; and ambulation difficulties due to balance problems. It is not a depressive disorder. Medical researchers have noted immune, neurological, and endocrine abnormalities in CFIDS sufferers. 25% of sufferers are bedridden and 50% cannot work during flare-ups. We decided to revisit this question when we asked the following:

* Have you been diagnosed as having Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Reactivated Mononucleosis? Yes (18), No (30).

2 respondents stated that they CFIDS symptoms but no formal diagnosis. 38% of the participants in our study have a CFIDS or RM diagnosis, whereas less than 1% of the US population has this diagnosis. This is a highly significant finding. Reports of such a high rate of CFIDS among abduction experiencers should be taken seriously by the medical community. One has to wonder if the alien environment is causing illness among humans. Are the ET’s experiments passing this syndrome to experiencers? Could it be caused by the alien technology that allows the transfer of a human body through a solid structure? Is it an adrenal response caused by one’s persistent fear of abduction? Is it the result of a sleep disorder? Is it a retrovirus created by ETs?

Psi Phenomena

Psi phenomena, such as telepathy, clairvoyance, psychokinesis, psychic healing, out of body experiences, etc. have long been associated with the alien abduction phenomenon. It is both perplexing and troubling to investigators. Many are not inclined to investigate reports of events that seem more like imagination than reality. Some consider it an embarrassment to the scientific study of UFOs and would prefer to sweep it under the rug. Others feel that they are not equipped to investigate psi phenomena. Yet, abduction experiencers consistently report being transported through solid surfaces, telepathic communication, light orbs that expand into non-human entities, poltergeist activity in their homes (soon after a contact experience), and new psychic abilities. In an attempt not to lead the participants to specific information we referred to these phenomena as “paranormal” rather than ghost related, mystical or psychic. The Free Dictionary defines paranormal as “Beyond the range of normal experience or scientific explanation.” We developed 7 questions pertaining to these phenomena.

* AE Group—Have you witnessed paranormal activity in your home? Yes (43), No (6), No answer (1). If so, please describe it.

* NAE Group—Have you witnessed paranormal activity in your home? Yes (11) 44%, No (14) 56%. If so, please describe it.

88% of the abduction experiencers reported that they had witnessed paranormal activity in their homes, including light orbs that dart or float through the air. Sometimes the orbs pop like a bubble into 1-3 ETs. Many reported poltergeist activity such as household items flying through the air, pictures flying off walls, lights turning off and on, windows opening and closing, doors opening and closing and toilets flushing on their own. 44% of the NAE Group reported paranormal activities in their homes, but there was a slight variation between the AE and the NAE Groups. They reported ghosts, shadow people, spirits, mist clouds, strange sounds, strange odors, and cold spots. One respondent reported light orbs, but she had all of the characteristics of an abduction experiencer. A small percentage (4%) of the AE group reported ghost-like activity such as invisible beings that had weight in their beds and temperature changes in their home environment. For example, a room was 56 degrees although the thermostat was set at 83 degrees. We were struck by and hadn’t anticipated the high percentage (44%) of paranormal activity reports by the NAE Group, as early on in this part of the study only a tiny percentage of the NAE group had reported paranormal activity. This increased dramatically following my interview on a popular paranormal radio show. In order to determine whether or not the paranormal activity is directly tied to the alien abduction experience, we asked:

* Did it begin prior to or after your first abduction? Prior to (13), After (22), Not sure (3), no answer (5)

It is significant that 51% of the participants reported that their paranormal activity began after their first abduction experience. Many commented that this activity is not ongoing, but occurs immediately prior to or after a contact event.

The next question pertains to telepathic communication. We were interested in determining whether or not all communication between the “visitors” and the experiencers was telepathic.

* AE Group—Have you ever received telepathic messages from your visitors? Yes (44), No (6)

* NAE Group—Have you ever received telepathic messages? Yes (8), No (17 )

A statistically significant 88% of the AE Group reported telepathic communication with their visitors, whereas only 32% of the non-experiencers reported telepathic communication. Many experiencers reported that they “sensed” a contact experience was about to occur or received a telepathic message prior to its onset. It is interesting to note that 2 of those who answered “No” reported having only one abduction experience.

* We asked those who answered yes, “Was the telepathic communication related to an abduction experience? Yes (30), No (2), not sure (1), No answer (11).

91% of those in the EA Group that answered the question replied in the affirmative. The next two questions are closely related.

* Are you more or less “sensitive” or intuitive than you were prior to your abduction experience? More (36 ), Less (0), about the same (8), Not sure (6)

*. Did you develop new psychic abilities after your abduction experience? Yes (26), No (7), Maybe (2), No answer (15)

72% stated that they are more sensitive or intuitive than they were prior to contact. 79% stated that they developed new psychic abilities after a contact experience. One person reported that they have always been psychic and another noted that his or her psychic abilities increased. The following question was worded to ask whether or not abduction experiencers discovered that they had the ability to heal others following an abduction experience.

* Do you feel you have been given a gift of healing following an abduction experience? Yes (25), No (18), Don’t know (5), No answer (1)

50% stated that noted that they were able to heal others for at least a short period following an abduction experience. This gift persisted for an extended period of time for some of the participants, but not for others. 2% mentioned that they had always been healers.

Miscellaneous

Kay Wilson, a well-known abduction experiencer, had written about her “invisibility” experience in an airport and two additional abduction experiencers reported to us that they, at times, felt literally invisible. We decided to determine whether or not others have experienced this sensation by asking, “Do you ever feel that you are literally invisible and others can’t see you? It is interesting that 25% answered in the affirmative.

Blood types, Rh factors, and ancestral genetic links have long been of interest to alien abduction researchers. We decided to inquire about blood types. . AE Group—What is your blood type? A (17), B (1), O (10), AB (1) Positive? (15) Negative? (8 ) . NAE Group—What is your blood type? A (9), B (1), O (6), AB (2). Positive? (10) Negative? (2 ) 29 AE Group participants responded to the question. Of these 59% is type A and 34% is type O. Because 66% of the respondents reside in the Eastern Time Zone, we researched the distribution of blood types throughout the US. It is estimated that 20-25% of the US population residing in the Northeast and East-Central has type A blood and 70-80% are type O. Does this indicate that there is an elevated percentage of A blood types among abduction experiencers? We compared our statistics to the NAE Group and found that 50% are type A and 33% type O. This indicates that the majority of participants in both groups are type A regardless of whether or not they have experienced alien abduction. We then evaluated the Rh factor knowing that 85% of all humans have Rh+ blood types. We found an elevated percentage of Rh- Factor (35%) among abduction experiencers. The Stanford School of Medicine Blood Center reports that 6.3% of their collected blood types are A negative and 6.6% are O negative. This elevated percentage among abduction experiencers could be significant. Among the NAE Group 83% had a positive Rh factor and 17% were negative indicating that both groups had elevated Rh negative blood types. It is interesting that a significantly higher percentage (18%) of AE Group reported a negative RH factor than in the NAE Group. However, many participants did not know their blood type, so the sample size is too small to be considered statistically reliable.

Throughout the history of alien abduction electrical malfunctions have been widely reported. We decided to address this issue in our questionnaire.

* AE Group—Following an abduction, did you ever experience malfunctions of electrical equipment such as lights, digital watches, computers, etc? Yes (34), No (16)

* NAE Group—Have you ever experienced malfunctions of electrical equipment such as lights, digital watches, computers, etc. for no obvious reason? Yes (8), No (17)

68% of the AE Group reported experiencing malfunctions of electrical equipment, whereas only 32% of the NAE Group had the same experience. The AE Group reported malfunctioning computers, watches, appliances, radios, televisions, cameras and compasses. Some reported that light bulbs blow out or blink off and on and the hands on their watches spin. One participant stated that the time clock at his place of employment malfunctions only for him. The NAE group mentioned that street lights blink out when they drive or walk under them. This has also been reported to me by abduction experiencers. Another stated that when she became emotionally upset light bulbs would “shoot in the room I was standing in.” Both groups reported that televisions, appliances and computers would automatically switch themselves off and on.

Conclusion and Discussion

After we had excluded the demographic information and the open ended questions, we were left with 37 questions that could be analyzed for correlating information. Of these we found 23 positive, statistically significant correlations among abduction experiencers. A pattern emerged indicating that the majority of abduction experiencers had conscious recall of at least one event and were with a witness who also recalled the experience. They had a close encounter with an unconventional craft and sometimes observed its occupants. They are aware of having been examined aboard a craft and were left with perplexing, unexplained marks on their bodies. Slightly more than half had a nose bleed immediately after an experience. Women reported an elevated percentage of gynecological problems that appear to be related to reproductive procedures performed by alien entities. The vast majority was revisited—some more than 10 times—and was taken from their homes to an alien craft. Often the abduction experiencers sensed an impending visitation by alien entities before it occurred. The mode of communication between alien entities and humans is almost entirely telepathic. A new psychic awareness has emerged in the majority of experiencers and about half have found that they now have new healing abilities. Immediately before or soon after a visitation they become aware of paranormal activity in their homes, such as light orbs, objects flying through the air or from walls, doors opening and closing without assistance, etc. The majority noticed malfunctioning electrical equipment, appliances, watches, computers, TVs, radios, cameras, etc. Slightly more than half developed a new sensitivity to light and now crave salt. They feel a foreign object in their body and are fearful of being abducted again. Most have difficulty falling asleep and remaining asleep throughout the night. Those who have resolved their fearfulness are more likely to sleep restfully.

Finally, we want to express our sincere gratitude to those who participated in this study. It wasn’t an easy task. We asked them to visit my website and copy the 45 question or 16 question form. Then we requested that they fill in the multiple choice questions and add their comments and accounts of their personal experiences that would elucidate us regarding their specific information. They were then asked to mail their questionnaires to me or to return them via email. Although it required some effort on their part, it reduced the possibility that hoaxers would intentionally sabotage the study. In the end, we were very pleased with the knowledge we gained and the opportunity it gave us to support abduction experiencers and expand the UFO research community’s knowledge of the alien abduction phenomenon.

Faces On Mars, Alien Satellites and Moon Bases: 5 ‘Unexplained’ NASA Photos Explained

etkgnjyvh5z5ettroa68.jpg?fit=620%2C470

Space is filled with many strange and wondrous things, some of which are currently not fully understood by modern science. Space is also filled with many mundane and simple things, some of which are also not fully understood by the people of Earth who are desperate to find something else out there.

This is where alien sightings, UFOs and other associated conspiracy theories come in. The often grainy nature of space photography means it is not hard to find flying saucers, little green men and more in NASA pictures. Let’s take a look at some of them and try to figure out what they really are.

1. The Face of Cydonia

The Face of Cydonia

faces-on-mars-alien-satellites-and-moon-bases-5-unexplained-nasa-photos-explained-424286.jpg?resize=710%2C599

When NASA’s Viking 1 was circling Mars in 1976 it sent back some extraordinary photos of the Red Planet’s surface. On of them in particular appeared to show an eerie face looking right back at the camera.

The photo was a huge sensation, and NASA hoped it would inspire interest in its Mars missions. It certainly grabbed the public’s attention and it wasn’t long before people were talking about ancient alien structures, pyramids and ancestors on Mars.

What Is It Really?

The face is merely a large mesa rock formation that doesn’t even particularly look much like a face. Admittedly the original image does resemble a face, but this is due to the low quality of the early camera. Its ‘eyes’ and ‘mouth’ are merely shadows, while the nostril is merely a black spot caused by limitations in transferring photos at the time (you can see hundreds of them spread throughout the photo).

aHR0cDovL3d3dy5zcGFjZS5jb20vaW1hZ2VzL2kvMDAwLzAyMC83MjYvaTAyL2N5ZG9uaWEtdGhyZWUtdmlld3MuanBnPzEzNDU0OTA0Mzc=

Subsequent missions to Mars made it a priority to photograph Cydonia. With every mission came improvements with camera technology as well as pictures which debunked the ‘alien face monument’ theory. One of the most recent photos shows quite clearly it is simply a geographic formation.

2. The Black Knight Satellite

Another well-known space conspiracy theory concerns a supposed alien satellite which is orbiting the polar regions of Earth and broadcasting a strange message. Some claim it has been there for 13,000 years and constitutes a welcome invitation from an advanced alien race.

Known as the Black Knight, it is claimed that it has been photograpged several times, such as the examples below:

What Is It Really?

These photos are often captioned as ‘unexplained’, but that’s a blatant fallacy. NASA know exactly what it is. It’s a thermal blanket which became detached during an EVA aboard Endeavor’s STS-88 mission. There’s even a video of NASA’s personnel aboard the Endeavor filming it float away. Watch that below:

Despite this explanation, the claims these pictures are an ancient alien satellite persist. In reality, all the claims regarding the Black Knight have been categorically debunked.

3. Apollo 16 UFO

When returning from the moon on April 27, 1972, the Apollo 16 crew filmed a few seconds of film from the window of their spacecraft. The 16 mm film was later described as containing “a saucer-shaped object with a dome on top.” None of the crew reported seeing a UFO at the time, but this hasn’t stopped UFO experts from claiming they were being shadowed by an alien craft. Watch the video below:

What Is It Really?

pag_07_b.jpg?resize=710%2C521

The interest surrounding the video was so great, NASA conducted an investigation into the object. After digitally improving the picture and conducting frame by frame analysis, they discovered the object had a “linear feature” attached to one side (above). Eventually, they deduced it was nothing more than the floodlight boom used for EVA missions.

4. The Woman on Mars

When NASA’s Spirit Rover was trundling around Mars looking for signs of water, it seemed to have found something much more spectacular – a Martian woman.

The image, sent back from Mars, appears to show a figure just chilling out on a rock and seemingly unaware of the massive NASA rover only a few meters away. Of course, many saw this as proof of life on Mars.

What Is It Really?

This one probably isn’t that surprising, but the Martian Woman is in fact just a rock – and not even a particularly big one. Astronomer Phil Plait explained:

Talk about a tempest in a teacup! The rock on Mars is actually just a few inches high and a few yards from the camera. A few million years of Martian winds sculpted it into an odd shape, which happens to look like, well, a Bigfoot! It’s just our natural tendency to see familiar shapes in random objects.

Plait is referring to a well-known psychological phenomenon known as pareidolia, which causes humans to often find familiar things (such as faces and bodies) in random shapes. This woman isn’t the only example of pareidolia on Mars – in fact they are dozens of them, including rats, dragon skulls and alien skulls.

5. Buildings On The Moon

A Youtube video claiming to feature dozens of leaked images from NASA included this curious picture which it says shows buildings on the surface of the moon.

What Is Really Going On Here?

Of course, there’s a lot in this picture which doesn’t make sense, like for example, why does the moon appears to have foliage and a pond nearby. But, more importantly, many people have seen that building before – and not on the moon.

The building is in fact a photoshopped image of Iran’s Ardeshir Palace, one of the oldest and best known Sassanid palaces. It’s notable domes as well as its nearby road and domes are all clearly visible in the picture above.

Scientists Think Our Moon Used to Be Home to a Molten Metal Ocean and Supersonic Winds

Scientists Think Our Moon Used to Be Home to a Molten Metal Ocean and Supersonic Winds

 238403main_moon-1-750x300.jpg
IN BRIEF
Researchers at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) have designed a new simulation model to help better our understanding of the Moon soon after its formation. Their work could increase our knowledge of exoplanets, which may be humanity's best hope of finding extraterrestrial life.

A METAL MOON

Researchers at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) have developed a simulation they think reveals new information about the precise nature of the Earth’s Moon in its earliest years.

Most researchers believe the Moon formed when a Mars-sized object collided with the Earth 4.5 billion years ago, forming a cloud of molten material that was later coagulated into the Moon by gravitational forces. Existing models suggest that the Moon would have had its own atmosphere soon after this formation, but the team from GSFC actually did the math to reach a more precise understanding of this atmosphere and how it reacted with the Moon’s surface.

moon-phases_v4.jpg

The researchers added up the radiation the young satellite would have felt from the magma covering its surface, the Earth, and the Sun. According to their model, supersonic winds would have blown across the surface of the side of the Moon facing the Earth, causing waves in the magma ocean covering it. After about a thousand years of cooling, the surface of the ocean would have been covered by floating rocks, at which point the atmosphere would have collapsed.

“The Moon’s atmosphere was like a hard-partying rock star,” Prabel Saxena, one of the researchers involved in the study, told Science News. “It had a really violent, heavy metal existence, but it rapidly just fell apart.”

EXPLAINING EXOPLANETS

This new model is particularly exciting because the greater our understanding of our Moon’s formation, the greater our understanding of how other space objects form. Exoplanets currently orbiting Red Dwarfs, for example, should in some ways be comparable to our Moon in its early years. “If we can characterize what the early Moon looked like, it can tell us about the physical mechanisms that are operating on these close-in extreme exoplanets,” explains Saxena.

Exoplanets are perhaps humanity’s best bet for finding extraterrestrial life, and in just a short amount of time, we have discovered thousands of them. A model like that created by the team at GSFC could help us narrow down the list to those most likely to harbor life, which could then be studied further using tools like the James Webb Space Telescope.

Truly, thanks to the work of researchers like those at GSFC, we have never been closer to answering humanity’s greatest questions: Where did we come from, and are we alone?

REVEALED: The truth about the mysterious Bermuda Triangle where boats and planes vanish

REVEALED: The truth about the mysterious Bermuda Triangle where boats and planes vanish

FOR years it has been one of the world's greatest mysteries - why have so many boats and planes been lost forever within the Bermuda Triangle?

Hundreds of boats and planes have been lost to the mysterious triangle

The disappearances in the infamous region has repeatedly been blamed on the paranormal - with suggestions it could be a vortex to another dimension which has transported the poor souls on board away from our universe.

But now scientists believe there could be a much more Earthly, and provable explanation, for the legend also known as the Devil's Triangle.

Researchers have found huge undersea craters which could be tell-tale signs on why vessels went missing and were possible blown to smithereens, to end up at the bottom of the sea.

The up to half-mile-wide and 150ft deep craters in the Barents Sea are thought to have been caused by a build-up of methane.

They are just off the Norweaigan coast - a country rich in natural gas reserves.

Methane is likely to have leaked from deposits of natural gas deeper below the sea bed, then created cavities which eventually burst, once the pressure gets too high, the scientists said.

This would lead to a massive blow up of gas, which could cause a boat or ship to fail if it was passing at the height of the explosion.

Russian scientist Igor Yeltsov, deputy head of the Trofimuk Institute, said: "There is a version that the Bermuda Triangle is a consequence of gas hydrates reactions.

"They start to actively decompose with methane ice turning into gas.

"It happens in an avalanche-like way, like a nuclear reaction, producing huge amounts of gas.

"That makes the ocean heat up and ships sink in its waters mixed with a huge proportion of gas.

"The crater area is likely to represent one of the largest hotspots for shallow marine methane release in the Arctic."

Hundreds of boats and planes have been lost within and just outside the triangle since Christopher Columbus was the first to record its existence, noting his ship's compass stopped working and he saw a fireball in the sky.

An average of four planes and 20 boats have been reported lost a year, with no trace of any debris, due to the Gulf Stream being believed to move them away.

Disappearances have been blamed on UFOs, strange mists, and even time travel.

The biggest recorded loss was in 1945 when five US Navy Avenger torpedo bombers flying from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Bimini Island never showed up after a radio call from the 14 men on board that their compasses stopped working.

Three rescue planes also disappeared.

The Bermuda Triangle covers 440,000 square miles of sea - from the British Overseas Territory in the North Atlantic Ocean, to the Florida coast and on to Puerto Rico.

Crew of US Air Force Cold War spy plane saw 'large UFO with flashing lights' - UK X-Files

NEWLY-released formerly top-secret British Ministry of Defence (MoD) 'UFO X-Files' have detailed a fascinating encounter between the crew of a US Air Force (USAF) spy plane and a large bizarre UFO with flashing lights over the Mediterranean Sea.

The case was released in the latest batch of MoD UFO files released in the UK.

The MoD last month made 15 of 18 remaining classified UFO investigation files public through the National Archives.

Most can only be viewed by visiting the National Archives in London, but details are starting to emerge after UFO investigators visited the records office.

The files include a detailed report on a UFO incident on October 19, 1982, at around 4pm local time.

A a USAF RC-135 plane, which was monitoring Soviet military activity as part of the Cold War, came across ‘a big object’ over the Eastern Mediterranean at around 35,000 feet.

Details of the file show that British RAF personnel at RAF Troodos, on Cyprus, listened in shock to the encounter unfold through the radio calls of the American crew.

RELATED ARTICLES

The UFO was described as being covered in "a multitude of flashing lights 20 at a time".

It was picked up by the spy plane’s radar as the object approached from the south.

the crew of around 28, including two pilots, reportedly saw the object circle the plane.

It led to two US Navy F-14 fighter jets being scrambled from an aircraft carrier.

An RAF Phantom was also diverted to help with the unfolding situation.

RELATED ARTICLES

We have a strong suspicion that the 'UFO' was a mirage effect from lights on the coast of Israel or Lebanon.

Investigation report

The crew reported the object leaving towards the African coast as the three fighters arrived.

The incident lasted 90 minutes as was monitored by staff at Troodos radar station.

Nothing was reportedly seen from the ground.

A UK investigation was carried out with results sent to the US Department of Defense in November 1982.

RELATED ARTICLES

No details of this case have previously been released, according to Dr David Clarke, a UFO and folklore journalist, who revealed details of the encounter. The results of the investigation are not in the file.

But, one explanation was offered that it was just a mirage.

A senior RAF official wrote: "We have a strong suspicion that the 'UFO' was a mirage effect from lights on the coast of Israel or Lebanon."

The RAF signal who reported the encounter said the object was first spotted: “…initially about two miles from wing of RC-135…moved position around aircraft and closed…object tailed Beano 73 for 90 mins on its northeast/southwest race track….”

No, NASA isn’t running a child trafficking ring on Mars

Another day, another batshit crazy theory involving NASA: days after rumors that the US space agency has evidence proving the existence of extraterrestrial life from humanity were debunked, a new and possibly even more ludicrous accusation has been leveled against the organization.

Never mind the fact that, as the Washington Post pointed out, the atmosphere on the Red Planet is comprised primarily of carbon dioxide and the average temperature on the planet is 81 degrees below zero – NASA has somehow found a way to establish a child-trafficking ring on Mars.

At least that’s what activist and former Reform Party presidential candidate Robert David Steele said Thursday during an interview on Alex Jones’ radio show, the newspaper reported Saturday. The children involved in the interplanetary trafficking ring, Steele claimed, “were kidnapped and sent into space on a 20-year ride” and had “no alternative but to be slaves on the Mars colony.”

Why smuggling the abducted youngsters to Mars would have taken two decades is unclear, for as Space.com explained, the 33.9-million-mile voyage to the Red Planet takes just 6-9 months using modern-day propulsion technology. Nonetheless, Steele – a “CIA insider,” according to the show – seemed convinced of his claim’s validity, and Jones was not dismissive of the accusations.

“Look, I know that 90 percent of the NASA missions are secret, and I've been told by high-level NASA engineers that you have no idea,” the host, who has claimed that the Sandy Hook school shooting was a hoax and who helped spread false allegations that the Clinton campaign had been linked to a child-sex ring at a Washington DC pizzeria, responded. “There is so much stuff going on... clearly, they don’t want us looking into what is happening.”

‘No humans on Mars,’ according to NASA spokesperson

Despite the seemingly ludicrous nature of these claims, Guy Webster, a spokesperson for Mars exploration at the agency, took the time to issue a formal denial, telling the Daily Beast, “There are no humans on Mars. There are active rovers on Mars... but there are no humans.”

As Space.com pointed out, this is not the first Mars-related conspiracy theory to make the rounds on the Internet – though it may very well be the most unusual. An unusual landform discovered by the Viking 1 mission in 1976 garnered attention due to its resemblance to a face, and images that were recently captured by the Curiosity rover have been said to depict various animals, including crabs, lizards, rats and squirrels, the website added.

The alleged child-trafficking ring is the second wild accusation to be leveled against NASA over the last few weeks. Late last month, a YouTube video posted by an individual claiming to be part of Anonymous accused the agency of hiding evidence proving the existence of alien life.

The video, however, featured out-of-context comments made by NASA science director Thomas Zurbuchen back in April during a public congressional hearing. While Zurbuchen did say that the agency was “on the verge of making one of the most profound, unprecedented discoveries in history” during that hearing, he was actually discussing the recent discovery of distant planets and organic chemicals on Saturn’s icy moon Enceladus, not extraterrestrial life.

The Washington Post reached out to NASA following the posting of the video, and was told via email that there was “no pending announcement regarding extraterrestrial life.” Similarly, they reached out to the agency for comment on the Martian child-trafficking ring accusations but had not received a response as of press time.

The waters off the Oregon coast are mysteriously awash with strange, jelly-like creatures that look like translucent slugs, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Each pickle-like creature is, in fact, a colony made up of individual zooids that join to create a hollow, tube-like structure that has one closed end and one open end. An odd extinct mammal that lived in South America during the last ice age had a long neck like a llama's, three-toed feet like a rhino's and what may have been a tapir-like trunk. This peculiar combination of traits fueled a mystery lasting nearly two centuries about how to classify the bizarre beast.

Liquid water comes in two forms — low density and high density, scientists have found.

Water is essential for life (at least on Earth). And wherever liquid water exists — whether it's in icebound lakes or scalding hydrothermal vents — tiny microbes have been found. That is why scientists have been excited by the possibility of salty water flows and other evidence of ancient water on Mars — it means there may well have been life early on in the Red Planet's history. If the sun were just a little bit bigger or the moon a bit farther away, total solar eclipses may never occur. But they do, and it turns out this celestial phenomenon that has changed human history, and our perspective of the universe, may be a sheer coincidence.

Such a nearly perfect match wasn’t always the case, however. Because the distance between the moon and the Earth is slowly changing, solar eclipses looked very different millions of years ago — and they will again, tens of millions of years in the future. [Read more about solar eclipses.]

The British UFO Files: An Estimate of the Situation?

skyward-999x540.png

The British UFO Files: An Estimate of the Situation?

In recent weeks, the release of a trove of once-classified British UFO documents has managed to arouse controversy, both for the information contained therein, as well as the fact that the documents have had a somewhat limited readership: following their release by the Ministry of Defense, the files were not disclosed in an easily-searchable digital format, evoking cries of suppression, and even conspiracy from eager potential readers worldwide.

Fortunately, news agencies in the UK have been following up, with featured articles appearing every few days that detail elements contained within the files, often dealing with hair-raising encounters kept quiet by the MOD for decades.

One of the most recent reports to come to light deals with an unusual, Cold-War era incident that occurred in October 1982. It involved an American RC-135 spy plane that, while monitoring Soviet military operations, came under some kind of surveillance by a large, unidentified and brightly-lit aircraft.

The USAF base detailed in the report was located at RAF Troodos on Cyprus, and discussed an incident involving an unidentified aircraft which lasted close to 90 minutes.

According to the report, two US Navy F-14 fighters were involved, as well as an RAF Phantom, which had been diverted to join the F-14s in pursuit of the aircraft over Cyprus. The object was observed by the pilots of the American crew streaking away toward the African coast; the intercepting pilots did not report seeing the object.

According to the Sun, “Radar film, tapes and transcripts of the distress call were also analysed by intelligence officers – but removed from the files.”

Reports of similar encounters between military aircraft and unidentified objects are rife throughout UFO literature, having been disclosed in government documents by a number of countries around the world. The UK has a long history of similar incidents, which include an event that occurred in 1956 at Lakenheath-Bentwaters (not to be confused with the later RAF Bentwaters incident, otherwise known as the “Rendlesham Forest Incident”).

Apart from the reports themselves, we are left with considerations about what, precisely, these kinds of incidents represent. Within the broader UFO narrative, a number of hypotheses emerge, which range from skeptical interpretations of the incidents as being pure misidentification of prosaic phenomena, to secret military operations and, yes, the long-held idea of alien visitors.

Different theories, ranging from the thought-provoking, to the downright absurd, have emerged over the years pertaining to UFO sightings. A listing of these might include the following; note that these are arranged in no particular order, and taking into full account that some are highly improbable, while some are, at very least, far less likely than others:

  • Extraterrestrial visitors
  • Unexplained Natural Phenomena
  • Secret technologies developed by the U.S. or other world superpowers
  • A so-called “Breakaway Civilization”
  • Time travelers from the future
  • “Cryptoterrestrial” hidden denizens of Earth
  • Interdimensional visitors
  • Psycho-social phenomenon and misperception/misidentification
  • Evidence of a hologram-like “Matrix” reality, in which UFOs are the operators
  • A form of artificial intelligence of unknown origin

An open-minded collection of ideas such as this takes into account a number of very creative concepts, borrowed largely from science fiction. Though in truth, this has been the case since the inception of the modern UFO phenomenon beginning shortly after WWII, where such ideas began to be appended to the subject in an effort to try and account for the seemingly unexplainable.

In other words, the fact that no simple explanation exists for the “how, why and what” associated with these alleged aircraft has inspired a lot of imaginative thinking over the years, which, of course, isn’t to say that something like “extraterrestrial visitors” can be ruled out entirely. Rather, it is to drive home the point that in the absence of a clear explanation for UFOs, a division of thought has seemingly occurred, where one end of the broader spectrum favors the otherworldly, while the other proposes that simple things have been blown out of proportion, and that no such “phenomenon” exists at all.

These two “primary arguments” will inevitably continue to be appended to the UFO situation, especially with the release of new material like the MOD’s current batch of files. However, if there is truly anything we can glean from new data like this (even if it is decades old by the time we see it), perhaps it is that between the two extremes, there is something which might logically account for why government agencies have had such a long history of encounters with phenomena they can’t explain… and which, at times, has warranted military responses, like with the 1982 Cyprus incident.

A multitude of reports like these, often involving what are described as being clearly tangible objects, and seemingly of technological origin, do remain unexplained. Beyond any filtration through overt belief or skepticism (which often requires a certain level of illogic in order to bend the phenomena to fit the parameters of the interpreter), we are left with a plethora of data that does suggest that something unusual is occurring… whatever that is. Logically, this would appear to stand, even if only a handful of these reports remain viable after cold, hard, skeptical analysis.

So what is our “estimate of the situation”? As with virtually all rational attempts to draw conclusions about the UFO phenomenon, we are left with too many holes in the data to know anything for certain, apart from the fact that something exists, which is seemingly technological, and which cannot be accounted for based solely on knowledge of technologies and aircraft on the civilian level. In our opinion, evoking the paranormal in order to account for these objects requires a logical leap, whereas overconfidence in the skeptical dismissal of every UFO incident, despite the data, represents equally illogical behavior.

Somewhere in between these two “universes of belief”, a more likely, and logical, solution may exist; these aircraft are obviously capable of operating in Earth’s atmosphere, and are seemingly highly-adaptable to earthly circumstances. In equal measure, these objects appear to display an interest in earthly happenings, often interacting with military aircraft; this would seem to suggest that the technologies in question are being operated with an interest in things of a political nature, rather than the pursuit of scientific knowledge, etc. Perhaps this is a significant clue to the ultimate nature of the more tangible UFO incidents that have turned up over the years.

At the end of the day, the same old conundrums keep turning up: we need more physical evidence to back up the claims of tangible objects. Conversely, if these things are “ours”, then whoever is in-the-know isn’t talking… and the likelihood that those with a “need to know” would (or could) keep so quiet, and for so long, seems almost as unlikely as space aliens, dimensional visitors, or time travelers.

If there is something tangible at work here, then there must be some kind of solution too, right? In the long run, solving the UFO mystery may require some creative thinking, paired with a willingness to keep our ideas in check, and not get ahead of ourselves with our theories.

SPECTACULAIRE UFO-SHOW MET MOEDRSCHIP BOVEN OOSTENRIJK? ( VIDEO )

SPECTACULAIRE UFO-SHOW MET MOEDRSCHIP BOVEN OOSTENRIJK?  ( VIDEO )

PROJECT BLUE BEAM? Was Nasa test to prepare us for 'alien UFO invasion'?

PROJECT BLUE BEAM? Was Nasa test to prepare us for 'alien UFO invasion'?

DRAMATIC video of bizarre bright lights set off in the night sky saw 2,000 terrified reports from stunned onlookers.

Nasa said it was  responsible for the even which was labelled  “an early Independence Day fireworks display”.

But UFO conspiracy theorists say this was a so-called "false flag"to test people's reactions to paranormal events such as an alien attack.

The Project Blue Beam conspiracy theory claims through Nasa the US Government will one day use hologram technology to create a false paranormal event such as UFO invasion or even a second coming, in order to introduce new controls upon us all.

While the Daily Star reports ufologists believe the space agency may have sent UFOs into the sky in order to prepare people on Earth from an impending invasion of extra-terrestrial life.

In truth, after multiple failed attempts, NASA's Malemute sounding rocket lit up the sky with blue, green and red artificial clouds on Thursday.

The light show was seen by witnesses across the US from North Carolina to New York.

In tweets with photos of the rocket launch, the space agency called it “an early Independence Day fireworks display”.

The rocket launch – from Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, US – reached an altitude of 118 miles and lasted eight minutes.

Four minutes in, it deployed 10 canisters about the size of soft drink cans, each containing a coloured vapour that forms artificial, luminescent clouds.

The Wallops facility, and local police stations, reportedly received 2,000 UFO reports and photographs from stunned onlookers, terrified about what exactly the unidentified lights were.

Tyler Glockner, who runs controversial UFO YouTube channel SecureTeam 10 said in a video: “This looked like an alien invasion and it would appear they’re testing these different technologies that could potentially be used in order to get people frightened and flood the 911 centres with calls about these strange lights moving through the sky.

“They run their test, they got their reaction and they have the perfect cover story.

“Is this a test of Project Blue Beam?

“Do you guys think that a lot of the UFO sightings we see are not from off planet but are in fact from our own government?”

“Are they nothing but holographic simulations in order to condition us for the big alien invasion?”

RELATED ARTICLES

Project Bluebeam has largely been debunked as a fictitious theory first presented in 1994 by Quebecois journalist and conspiracy theorist Serge Monast, in the book Project Blue Beam.

Many viewers were unconvinced by Secureteam 10's shock claims.

One viewer said: “The fear mongering in your videos is not necessary to gain a following, you being one pioneer of ufology you should be pursuing a change in how the public view aliens,”

Mr Glockner appears on a number of UFO blacklists created by more sceptical investigators, due to claims he uses false footage and misrepresentation in his videos.

Mr Glockner denies misleading people and claims to be a genuine investigator.

NASA TO LAUNCH PLANETARY DEFENSE MISSION

NASA TO LAUNCH PLANETARY DEFENSE MISSION

700_fc9300ab0d7bd788f29ccd7e92a95ef9.jpg?v=1499081555

NASA is going to launch a mission for the first time that uses a deflection technique against asteroids for defending the planet.

NASA LAUNCHING DART MISSION TO DEFLECT ASTEROID

The mission is known as DART, Double Asteroid Redirection Test and it will be able to show how any deadly impact due to an asteroid could be averted if one was to be heading towards Earth. It would be able to strike the asteroid with force enough that it would force it to move trajectory away from the Earth, this is a method that is called kinetic impactor technique.

The mission is at the moment in the preliminary design phase, but the goal of it is to strike Didymos B, which is the smallest of the two binary asteroids that are said to be approaching Earth in 2022 and will make their way around again in 2024. The program scientist, Tom Statler, said that a binary asteroid would be the perfect natural laboratory of a test.

DART WILL HIT DIDYMOS B NINE TIMES THE SPEED OF A BULLET

DART is about the size of a regular fridge, and it has an autonomous targeting system onboard that it will aim at Didymos B and will then proceed to hit it at around nine times faster than a bullet from a gun would hit it. Andy Cheng from the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel Maryland in the USA said that the mission is a very critical step in showing how Earth can be protected from a possible impact by an asteroid.

He went on to say that as no one knows very much about the internal composition or internal structure of asteroids, the mission is needed as an experiment on an asteroid that is real. He said that thanks to DART, NASA will be able to show just how Earth can be protected in the event of an asteroid strike with a kinetic impactor as it can knock any objects that are hazardous hard enough to send them onto a different flight path, one that would not be any threat to Earth.

On the website of NASA, it was said that the DART mission is now moving away from the concept development and going into the preliminary design phase after getting approval from NASA on 23 June. NASA said that the target for DART is Didymos B, which is about 530 feet in size; the system has been under the close scrutiny of NASA since 2003.

WORLD UFO DAY: Is Donald Trump about to reveal aliens have visited Earth?

WORLD UFO DAY: Is Donald Trump about to reveal aliens have visited Earth?

WORLD UFO Day has indicated more than ever people believe aliens exist and may even have visited Earth.

Alien chasers hope the annual event will pressure world leaders to release top secret flying saucer files, and even admit that a massive cover up over alien life has been going on for years.

UFO-ers have been keeping their eyes firmly on the skies to celebrate the global fascination with the flying saucer.

The event is now in its 17th year.

According to the World UFO Day website, it is dedicated to "raising awareness about the undoubted existence of UFO’s and with that intelligent beings from outer space."

The website is also part of a campaign to get international governments to "declassify" their so-called confidential "X-Files" on UFO sightings throughout their history.

And, it is convinced something might be about to happen.

An article to coincide with this year's event said: "We at World UFO Day feel something is in the air.

"Since December 21st, a lot of interesting turns have been made by the UFO community.

"The image of UFO believers has made a shift. People around us are opening up to a truth that has been there all along.

“Is it time for the truth about UFOs to come out in 2017?"

The website believes President Donald Trump could be the key.

It added: "When Trump first became President there were many hopeful signs that his push for more transparent and accountable government would translate into greater openness where the truth would finally come out about UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

"Whistleblowers were ready to come forward to testify about a host of illegal government activities if they were given protection to reveal their secrets.

"This culminated in the belief that disclosure of extraterrestrial life was imminent early in the Obama administration.

"Four years later, those early hopes look positively naïve.

"Government transparency did not open up national security archives to researchers, and whistleblower protection did not happen after all.

"The Trump administration went on the record to disavow any interest in investigating claims that the Roswell crash really involved otherworldly UFOs.

"There was no disclosure of extraterrestrial life visiting our world.

"But what has changed, four years after Obama’s first Presidential election, is that the world is better prepared for accepting that extraterrestrial life exists?"

The website said a recent survey found 80 million Americans, 36 percent of the US population, believe UFOs are real.

One in 10 respondents even said they had witnessed an alien spaceship.

A separate Express.co.uk survey found that 36 percent of people asked who is most likely to reveal the existence of aliens thought it would now be Donald Trump.

A whopping 37,800 people responded to our online survey, with 13,608 saying they felt Mr Trump could be the disclosure president.

There were 9,450 who thought it would instead be Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the same figure said "no one, because aliens do not exist."

There were 4,536 people who felt a retired Barack Obama would do it and just 378 people thought it would be Theresa May and the same amount felt German chancellor Angela Merkel might come through.

Clear Alien UFO Photo From NASA Mars Rover

Clear Alien UFO Photo From NASA Mars Rover

The internet went into a frenzy with the crystal clear photograph allegedly showing an alien spaceship. The Mars Rover of NASA has photographed what looks like a UFO on the Red Planet’s surface. The rocky landscape of Mars can be seen in the high-definition image along with ripples etched by the wind on the surface.

The interesting part for UFO enthusiasts is the mysterious object in the middle of the picture that looks entirely different. It seems to have a smooth, metallic exterior with visible lights. It looks like a spaceship as people often describe. Moreover, it appears that natural forces have nothing to do with it.

mars-rover-ufo

Some UFO enthusiasts have jumped to the conclusion that the image is an undeniable evidence of intelligent alien life. NASA is yet to give a word on the discovery. Extraterrestrial life is possible on Mars as the space agency announced in 2015 that it had found running water on the planet. Hacking group Anonymous made the story more interesting as it said that NASA is about to reveal that it has discovered ETs.

Alien enthusiasts regularly post photos and videos online with claims that they show alien craft. Most of these images are grainy and not very convincing.

The Rover is equipped with powerful lenses, making the images it captured very clear. Conspiracy theorists often accused NASA of covering up extraterrestrial existence. They sometimes post images of so-called alien artefacts from the Moon or Martian surface. Most images involve an oddly shaped rock, but this particular new image is tough to explain.

Humanoid Alien Valiant Thor Helped Humanity

Humanoid Alien Valiant Thor Helped Humanity

valiant-thor

The exploits of a being named as Valiant Thor has been recently uncovered in top secret documents. Valiant Thor claimed that he was from a portal world in Venus. He further stated that he helped the US Armed Forces throughout the Cold War in procuring advanced extraterrestrial technology in Area 51. Thor appeared to have made frequent appearances in many American military bases and was called as The Stranger at the Pentagon.

According to conspiracy theorists, he seemed to be a Nordic alien in a Caucasian human figure. He reportedly looked like an ordinary person, but both of his hands have six fingers. Thor claimed he scored 1200 when measuring his intelligence using the old Stanford-Binet scale. His internal organs were allegedly different from humans. He was reportedly 500 years old when he left the Earth.

Several reports noted the friendship between Valiant Thor and Former American President Dwight Eisenhower. They apparently discussed matters in technology and geopolitics frequently. He allegedly left the Earth in 1959 and refused to take part in any human activities since then.

Thor’s actions and exploits are featured in a book Stranger at the Pentagon, by Dr Frank E Stranges, published in 1967 (Amazon link).

RAF Pilots Ignore UFO Over Skegness, British X-File Reveals

RAF Pilots Ignore UFO Over Skegness, British X-File Reveals

MOD UFO files

A set of files called the Britain’s X-Files had been revealed to the public this week. One incident in 1996 has caught the attention among conspiracy theorists where RAF was told to ignore a UFO sighting on radar.

Several civilians spotted bright lights on the morning of October 5, 1996. Radar signal was also detected, but no response from the RAF.

An unnamed government official wrote to the Ministry  }Defence about the no response from the RAF, which was supposed to be keeping a watchful eye on such incident. The RAF appeared to have no idea about the UFO sighting on radar.

The government official asked the Ministry of Defence about the standard procedure for these incidents. It is noted that the object was on their radar for around seven hours, so the RAF had supposedly enough time to think about it.

However, the case may not be that exciting, according to the UFO Investigations Manual author Nigel Watson. The information is not new, according to Watson, as the case became opened to the public in a batch of MOD files released back in 2010.

In the RAF report about the event, the radar signals were produced by 273 feet tall St Botolph Church. Aviation circles called the church spire as the Boston Stump, which occasionally appears on some radars.

The report further explains that the lights in The Wash area were observed from three separate locations above the horizon and in the same general direction, but with no corroborating radar data. Civil or military radars did not detect associated air vehicle, thus, suggests a distant celestial source.
Royal Greenwich Observatory identified these celestial sources as Venus or could be the stars, Sirius and Vega.

NASA’S STUNNING BREAKTHROUGH: Its First Warp Drive…Is a TRUE Mindblower!

NASA’S STUNNING BREAKTHROUGH: Its First Warp Drive…Is a TRUE Mindblower!

AlcubierreDrive.jpg

A few months ago, physicist Harold White shocked the aeronautics industry when he announced that his team at NASA was in the process of developing a faster-than-light warp drive. His design could one day transport a spacecraft to the nearest star in a matter of weeks.

The idea originally came to White while he was considering an equation formulated by physicist Miguel Alcubierre in his 1994 paper titled, “The Warp Drive: Hyper-Fast Travel Within General Relativity. Alcubierre suggested a mechanism by which space-time could be “warped” and behind a spacecraft.

Michio Kaku dubbed Alcubierre’s theory a “passport to the universe,” which harnesses a quirk in the “cosmological code” that allows for the expansion and contraction of space-time. If proven true, it could allow for hyper-fast travel between interstellar destinations. In order to accomplish this, the starship would need able to expand the space behind it rapidly to push it forward. For passengers, it would look like a lack of acceleration.

White believes a drive like that could result in “speeds” that could take us to Alpha Centauri in just a matter of weeks, even though the system is only 4.3 light-years away. Essentially, a bubble would be created that moves space-time around the object, repositioning it.

“Remember, nothing locally exceeds the speed of light, but space can expand and contract at any speed,” White told reporters at io9. “However, space-time is really stiff to create the expansion and contraction effect in a useful manner in order for us to reach interstellar destinations in reasonable time periods would require a lot of energy.”

However,” White added, “based on the analysis I did in the last 18 months, there may be hope.”
“My early results suggested I had discovered something that was in the math all along,” he recalled. “I suddenly realized that if you made the thickness of the negative vacuum energy ring larger — like shifting from a belt shape to a donut shape — and oscillate the warp bubble, you can greatly reduce the energy required — perhaps making the idea plausible.”

The next step for White will be a proof-of-concept. His team are in the lab and working on actual experiments to make that a reality.

Yesterday, a gentleman named Mauricio Morales posted some remarkable pictures on the internet that ended up going fairly viral across social media. They were snaps of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs, which does not mean they are extraterrestrial in origin).

That being said, don’t be fooled, there is a tremendous amount of evidence pointing toward the fact that some of these UFOs, whose presence were officially acknowledged within the mainstream using declassified documents and hundreds of high ranking military/political whistleblowers, are indeed extraterrestrial in origin.

There is ample evidence suggesting that many are ‘ours’ as well.

We’ve written about this quite extensively, and if you want to learn more about that and sift through all of the evidence we’ve accumulated over the past 8 years, please visit the exopolitics section of our website here.  Another great place to start is with UFO researcher Richard Dolan.

Here’s Morales’ statement on what he experienced from his Facebook post:

“As I was driving back to Phoenix this evening, I was a few miles past Parker, AZ when I saw a shooting star with a green hue in the corner of my eye. I kept driving for a few miles and noticed a small orange light far in the distance to my right. At first I thought that maybe a meteor had hit nearby and set a fire in the desert or possibly a distant antenna light.

I didn’t quite think much of it and continued to drive for another three miles. I noticed that the light was gone. I drove another half of a mile and I saw the light appear again. This is when I realized that whatever this was, wasn’t normal.

I was about a quarter of a mile from the crossing between Highway 72 and Highway 95 between Parker and Quartzsite, Arizona.

I immediately pulled over and attached my camera to my tripod. To my SW direction, there were six orange-red lights floating around in the horizon. Some of them would dim out and then brighten back up, others just seemed to float and hover away slowly. They seemed to travel in a parallel pattern with a very bright fiery glisten. I took photos and videos and in less than 15 minutes, the mysterious objects vanished without a trace.

All of the photographs are timestamped and are not edited whatsoever. The video is slightly cropped for better viewing.

Whatever this was, I have never seen anything like this in my life before. Super cool experience.

*UPDATE* 4/11/17 11:22pm
I have noticed that my cameras clock is set 8 minutes ahead. Which means that the time stamps are all 8 minutes ahead. I also saw a video of the same exact thing but from the opposite end in El Centro, CA. That means that whatever this was, it was visible for at least 100 miles.

ABC15 is reporting that the photos were part of the meteor. They were not. The meteor struck about 10 minutes before I pulled over on HWY 95 and got footage of these lights. The difference in lighting you see in the photos is because I was using different settings to get a more visible photo of what they were.”

Below are a few pictures, but you can view the video Timelapse on his Facebook page.

SOME RECENT VIDEO FOOTAGE

Below is some footage from Dr. Steven Greer, founder of The Disclosure Project and the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI). Known to some as the “Father of the Disclosure Movement,” he was instrumental in bringing forth hundreds of military whistleblowers of all ranks, with verified backgrounds, to share their experiences and testify on the UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon.

He has had high-level meetings within the Pentagon about this issue, and that was confirmed (in his documentary Sirius Disclosure) by Apollo 14 astronaut and the 6th man to walk on the Moon, Dr. Edgar Mitchell.

“Yes there have been crashed craft, and bodies recovered. . . . We are not alone in the universe, they have been coming here for a long time. . . . I happen to be privileged enough to be in on the fact that we have been visited on this planet, and the UFO phenomenon is real.”

UFO sightings astride the Atlantic

UFO sightings astride the Atlantic

imageedit_1_5091877091.png

People recently reported UFO sightings in Arizona and United Kingdom, creating a flurry of excitement online. Have extraterrestrial neighbors decided to make contact?
Investigation suggest that the Arizona sightings were of mercury vapor lights and not alien visitors. However, recent sightings above England are not so easily explained away. RT America's Brigida Santos has the story.

DID ALIEN BEINGS GENETICALLY ENGINEER HUMAN MANKIND?

DID ALIEN BEINGS GENETICALLY ENGINEER HUMAN MANKIND?

700_5d826132aa21357af52e6be418e8d673.jpg?v=1498993468

Could blood types prove that human beings are genetically engineered?

Throughout the years, several scientific studies have searched for this answer.

Many people are unconvinced that evolution alone was capable of taking humanity from its original brute aim form into the only animals on the planet Earth capable of language, writing, and civilization itself. Instead, they look towards the ancient scriptures and the stories from societies from all corners for the world that tell of mysterious visitors, fallen angels, gods or the Anunnaki. While these tales may vary slightly from one another, they all tell the same broad tale. God-like creatures once came from the heavens and brought human beings the tools to create vast and sophisticated civilizations. Versions of these tales can even be found in the Christian Bible in reference to the fallen angels in Genesis, chapter 6.

Alien1.jpg?resize=640%2C480

The mysteries posed by ancient scripture seem to be supported by the architectural evidence which has been believed to give modern humans their greatest clues about the ancient societies that came before them. For years, archaeologists, historians and engineers alike have been baffled by the supremely intelligent technology apparently available to humanity’s ancient ancestors to build the extraordinary megaliths in regions such as Egypt, Peru, and Mexico. But perhaps an even bigger clue lies in the genetic structure of human beings themselves.

The story of the Anunnaki describes how this powerful alien race created the first humans to work as drone workers in the colonized gold mines of planet Earth. The most compelling evidence to support this theory is the existence of the blood type group Rh Negative.

Human beings fall into four blood types; A, B, AB and O. This classification is determined by the make-up of the person’s immune system, specifically, the proteins present on the surface of the cells which amass to fight bacteria, viruses and other foreign bodies in the human body. The vast majority of human beings exhibit these proteins, but some do not. The people who fall into negative blood groups are perfectly healthy individuals who experience no significant difference in medical outcomes to other people. To this day, scientists have failed to adequately explain why this is the case or indeed, why this discrepancy even exists. Could it be that this is evidence of a holdover from our genetically engineered past?

UFO NEWS: BRITAIN JUST RELEASED ITS ‘X-FILES’ CONFIRMING AMERICAN INVOLVEMENT, WILL THE US FOLLOW SUIT?

MARK JASON ALCALA

Britain just released its UFO dossier, a total of 15 files that contain details of some of the most mysterious and sometimes terrifying encounters with RAF personnel that remain unsolved to this day. The newly released “Britain X-Files” includes what is dubbed as the most famous UFO sightings in the UK, the Rendlesham Forest incident which involved a triangular craft observed near two Royal Air Force bases. More interestingly for American UFO enthusiasts, some of the incidents covered by the dossier also reveal the involvement of U.S. military personnel.

Fifteen files from the Ministry of Defence (MOD) dubbed as the “Britain X- Files” by the media have just been made available to the public, according to The Sun. The files, which contain details of various UFO incidents, may be accessed at the reading room of the National Archives located in Kew, West London.

Unfortunately, the files are not yet available in a digitized format and, therefore, can’t be downloaded for viewing at home. This means that UFO enthusiasts who wish to view the documents will have to contend with long queues to gain access.

In addition to the 15, three more files are yet to be released. Nick Pope, who headed MOD’s UFO project from 1991 to 1994, reveals that the additional files could be made public later this year. He also heralded the release of the UFO files as a sign of government transparency.

“This is a good day for open government and for freedom of information.”

U.S. Military Involvement

What is interesting is that a number of the UFO incidents described in the British documents involve U.S. military personnel. For instance, a 1982 incident involved a U.S. Air Force spy plane on a Cold War-era mission to observe Soviet military movements.

The crew of the American spy plane, the USAF RC-135, radioed for help when several UFOs appeared. The call was picked up by RAF stationed at the Troodos base in Cyprus. The U.S. responded by sending in two F-14 fighter planes from the Navy while the RAF diverted a Phantom from a training exercise. The UFOs, which were described as “a multitude of flashing lights, 20 at a time,” left for the African coast as the fighter planes approached.

Meanwhile, an American was likewise involved in Britain’s most famous UFO case. The Rendlesham Forest incident, also dubbed as Britain’s Roswell, happened in December 1980. For several nights, RAF personnel noticed strange light coming from the Rendlesham Forest and dispatched some personnel to investigate it.

One person named Jim Penniston even got close enough to touch the triangular craft. Meanwhile, John Burroughs, Penniston’s companion in the investigation, drew some sketches on what they saw. A couple of nights later, a team, which included Deputy Base Commander Lieutenant Colonel Charles Halt, also encountered the UFO. He later stated that the first-hand experience is something that he just can’t debunk.

“Here I am, a senior official who routinely denies this sort of thing and diligently works to debunk them, and I’m involved in the middle of something I can’t explain.”

Will the U.S. Follow Britain’s Lead?

Of course, all eyes are now on the U.S. government if they will follow Britain’s example and release their own top-secret investigations. UFO enthusiasts were briefly thrilled when then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton promised to make public the UFO files as much as possible.

Interestingly, John Burroughs, one of the U.S. personnel involved in the Rendlesham Forest case, had successfully claimed compensation for the injuries he sustained in that incident. This prompted his lawyer Pat Frascogna to comment that the U.S. government might have already indirectly acknowledged the existence of UFOs.

“In citing the [MoD radiation documents] and in granting John Burroughs full disability for his injuries in Rendlesham Forest, the U.S. Government has by de facto acknowledged the existence of unidentified aerial phenomena which, in John Burroughs’ case, resulted in physical injury.”

UFO disclosure in the US is still uncertain. [Image by Fred Mantel/Shutterstock]

However, it appears that making the UFO files public is not one of the Trump administration’s priorities at the moment. It remains to be seen whether the government will give in to mounting pressure for disclosure. That or the arrival of an alien fleet for the whole world to see, making any government confirmation no longer necessary.

Is NASA preparing for an alien INVASION? 'Test' UFOs spotted in sky above US

Is NASA preparing for an alien INVASION? 'Test' UFOs spotted in sky above US

INCREDIBLE footage of bright lights in the night sky caused many to fear an oncoming alien attack.

By Zoe Drewett

Now UFO experts have made wild claims the unidentified light show could actually have been set up by NASA.

Ufologists believe the space agency may have sent UFOs into the sky in order to prepare people on Earth from an impending invasion of extra-terrestrial life.

After multiple failed attempts, NASA's Malemute sounding rocket lit up the sky with blue, green and red artificial clouds on Thursday (June 29).

The light show was seen by witnesses across the US from North Carolina to New York.

Tweeting photos of the rocket launch, the agency called it “an early Independence Day fireworks display”.

CLAIMS: Alien experts claim NASA have been testing public reaction to an alien invasion

“This looked like an alien invasion and it would appear they’re testing technologies to get people frightened about these strange lights”

SecureTeam 10

But the Wallops facility, as well as local police stations, reportedly received 2,000 reports and photographs from stunned onlookers, terrified about what exactly the unidentified lights were.

Now conspiracy theorists claim it was all in preparation for an alien war.

“This looked like an alien invasion and it would appear they’re testing these different technologies that could potentially be used in order to get people frightened and flood the 911 centres with calls about these strange lights moving through the sky,” UFO expert SecureTeam 10 claimed in its latest YouTube video.

“They run their test, they got their reaction and they have the perfect cover story.

“Is this a test of Project Blue Beam?”

Project Blue Beam is a conspiracy theory that claims NASA is attempting to implement a New Age religion with the Antichrist at its head and start a New World Order, via a technologically-simulated “second coming”.

“Do you guys think that a lot of the UFO sightings we see are not from off planet but are in fact from our own government?” SecureTeam 10’s presenter Tyler asks viewers.

“Are they nothing but holographic simulations in order to condition us for the big alien invasion?”

Alien invasion imminent

INCREDIBLE: NASA posted photos online of the rocket launch

While some viewers were shocked by the claims, others seemed unconvinced.

“The fear mongering in your videos is not necessary to gain a following, you being one pioneer of ufology you should be pursuing a change in how the public view aliens,” one fan commented on the clip – which has been seen more than 140,000 times in less than 24 hours.

The US space agency was last week forced to respond to claims a child slave colony lived on Mars.

The extraordinary conspiracy theory was concocted by alt-right talk show host Alex Jones and ex-CIA case officer Robert David Steele.

Steele made the bizarre allegations while appearing on the US-based InfoWars talk show hosted by Jones.

The claims were so unbelievable, a NASA spokesmen even came out to confirm “there are no humans on Mars”.

1. Roswellincident - 1947

3. De waarneming in Westall - 1966

Westall

 5. Ufo's in Bracknell - 2013

Ufo's in Bracknell

Ufo's in Bracknell

9. Ufo's in São Paulo - 1986

Weird lights, flying saucers and a song in Azerbaijan Stranger things to be explored at Scots UFO conference

Weird lights, flying saucers and a song in Azerbaijan Stranger things to be explored at Scots UFO conference

546213388

Today marks World UFO Day, when hordes of people who believe the truth is out there, will turn their eyes to the sky in celebration of "the undoubted existence of UFOs". And nowhere have UFO sightings been more prolific than the tiny Central Belt town of Bonnybridge, now dubbed UFO capital of the world.

Every year, dedicated believers around the globe mark the day in a bid to bring awareness to their cause, arguing that paranormal activity should be recognised as a legitimate phenomenon and not as a fringe doctrine to be sniggered at.

Scotland will occupy a special place in the celebrations as it is home to the 'Falkirk Triangle', an area stretching between Bonnybridge, Edinburgh and Stirling where thousands of UFO sightings have been reported. Outdoing even Roswell, New Mexico, reportedly the scene of a UFO crash 60 years ago next month, and the Nevada desert home of classified US airbase Area 51, Bonnybridge has managed to claim the title of UFO capital thanks to a range of well-documented sightings of strange lights and flying saucers.

With a population of just 7,000 terrestrials, the town is looking forward to Scotland’s third National UFO and Paranormal Conference next weekend in Falkirk.

Hosted by a Scottish veteran of the cause, Bonnybridge councillor William Buchanan who has been documenting the paranormal activity in Bonnybridge since 1992, the conference serves to educate, enlighten and prove to attendees and sceptics alike that stranger things do happen in our world.

Alongside dealing with day-to-day constituency problems like bin collections and bus services, Buchanan has made awareness of UFO phemomena his main priority in office, writing to every Prime Minister since John Major asking that this issue be officially investigated.

He has featured in 240 paranormal documentaries worldwide after thousands of his constituents reported sightings to him.

“I’m not an expert," he said, "I’m just a wee councillor from Bonnybridge who was made to be involved in this. All I’m asking people is, what are these strange things in the sky? And I rule nothing out.

“Bonnybridge has gained notoriety over the years, but the UFO phenomenon here is just starting to gain some credibility.

“People have come forward who have far more authority than a wee woman living on Mansfield Avenue – astronauts, doctors, Steven Hawking; I mean, he’s idolised.”

Mr Buchanan has even gone so far as to write and record a single about UFO sightings in the area called The Lights of Bonnybridge which he says made it to number one in Azerbaijan.

Three experts will take to the floor on the day to speak on the conference’s main topics of angels, UFOs and how the supernatural has influenced famous people over time. Keen to stress that this is about a lot more than flying saucers, there will also be discussions on paranormal conspiracies, psychic mediums and the influence of the paranormal on world events.

Malcolm Robinson, a pioneer in UFO studies described by Councillor Buchanan as an "unsung hero", has written several books on the subject and will speaking at the conference next Saturday.

On the significance of holding the conference bang in the centre of the Falkirk Triangle he said: “There's no denying that we are dealing with something very real and tangible in Bonnybridge and it demands explanation.

“Our petition to open up a government enquiry into these UFO sightings has fallen on deaf ears. The government said that as these objects do not pose a threat to National security, they would not seek to open up an enquiry.

“This has annoyed me, because some of these UFO sightings have been so close that witnesses have said they could practically have thrown a stone at them.”

Robinson is the first Scotsman to deliver talks on UFOs to audiences in France Holland and America. As for any sceptics, he reminds them that John Logie Baird and The Wright Brothers were once mocked for their beliefs and ambitions.

“They are real, they have been recorded on radar by trained radar operators," he said. "They have been witnessed entering and exiting the oceans of this world. This mystery has been with us since the dawn of time.”

CIA DOCUMENT SHOWS THE AGENCY RECRUITED LEGENDARY AMERICAN PHYSICIST, JOHN WHEELER, TO STUDY UFOS

CIA DOCUMENT SHOWS THE AGENCY RECRUITED LEGENDARY AMERICAN PHYSICIST, JOHN WHEELER, TO STUDY UFOS

wheeler-1.jpg

Although UFOs are no longer the fringe topic they once were, the official campaign of secrecy and ridicule against their becoming public knowledge, as described by former CIA director Roscoe Hillenkoetter, is still in effect. Recent episodes of Bill Nye’s new show, for example, openly ridiculing UFOs on national television, make this clear. The close relationship the CIA holds with the media is clearly at play here.

A wise person once said that “condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance,” and that is no less true when it comes to UFOs, a field so full of witness testimony and hard evidence that it’s a wonder mainstream media can still avoid covering it.

How anybody can still deny the existence of UFOs when the world’s brightest minds have been actively studying the phenomenon and the evidence available for decades is a mystery. Indeed, intelligence agencies like the CIA are recruiting the world’s top scientists to do so.

For example, a declassified secret document discovered in the CIA’s own electronic reading room titled a “Telephone Conversation With Dr. John A. Wheeler” shows how the agency was trying to recruit him to look into a “CIA attack on the flying saucer problem.”

The CIA has a long history of putting resources toward studying this phenomenon, as well as putting forth efforts to investigate what other countries know about it as well. For example, another unclassified document outlines:

Scientists of the PRC and the Soviet Far East have begun joint study of UFO’s. The first meeting of ufologists of the two countries has ended in the small maritime townlet of Dalnegorsk. The Soviet and Chinese specialists on anomalous phenomena have mapped out a program for investigating incidents that are already known and have also arranged to directly exchange video and photographic materials on new similar phenomena. Dalnegorsk has not been chosen by chance as the place for such acquaintance. In the last few years the number of cases of visual observation of UFO’s has noticeably increased there. In just the last four years alone no less than 10 UFO’s have been recorded. Specialists link their heightened interest in places here with the variety and wealth of useful minerals in Maritime Kray. Similar, incidents have also occurred in mountainous regions in China whose climatic conditions and natural landscape resemble our own. (source)

As for the Wheeler document, it shows how the agency really wanted him to work with the CIA on this subject, and that he regretted that he could not because of prior work comittments. It also mentions that “he would be pleased at any time to discuss the matter briefly.”  It also states how Wheeler mentioned “two foreign nationals who were currently outstanding in related fields.”

The document goes on to mention a few other names, some of which are redacted, and others not, like former Director of Research at Cambridge, Massachusetts USAF research center, Dr. O’Day.

The document pertains to a “scientific attack” on the UFO problem.

Another document regarding the call with Wheeler states that he might actually have some time available to get involved.

The document doesn’t offer much information, but its existence itself proves that as far back as 1953 the CIA was looking into UFOs and recruiting the world’s top minds to study them.

“This thing has gotten so highly-classified . . . it is just impossible to get anything on it. I have no idea who controls the flow of need-to-know because, frankly, I was told in such an emphatic way that it was none of my business that I’ve never tried to make it to be my business since. I have been interested in this subject for a long time and I do know that whatever the Air Force has on the subject is going to remain highly classified.”

– Senator Barry Goldwater, Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee (source)

The topic of UFOs lie within this world of classification that Senator Goldwater mentions above.  Here is another video of him speaking on it.

The United States has had a history of government agencies existing in secret for years. Though the National Security Agency (NSA) was founded in 1952, its existence was hidden until the mid 1960s. Even more secretive is the National Reconnaissance Office, which was founded in 1960 but remained completely secret for 30 years.

We are talking about Special Access Programs (SAP). From these we have unacknowledged and waived SAPs. These programs do not exist publicly, but they do indeed exist. They are better known as ‘deep black programs.’ A 1997 US Senate report described them as “so sensitive that they are exempt from standard reporting requirements to the Congress.”

You can read more about the black budget here.

Just imagine the scientists working in the world of intelligence today, those who are examining these craft, and those who work inside, the ones dealing with the science that goes on in the black budget world.  These people have no lives.

Take Dr. Norman Bergrun, for example. He’s worked for Ames Research Laboratory, NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics), and Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, now known as Lockheed Martin. He then went on to found Bergrun Engineering and Research.

You can view some of his publications for NASA, where he worked for more than a decade, here.

In this interview, he outlines what it’s like in that world, and how these scientists aren’t really allowed to have much of a life, as they are constantly kept behind closed doors.

The Sturrock Panel

Independent scientists have also investigated UFOs. Below is a clip from the Thrive documentary that has now amassed over 100 million views. I apologize if you’ve seen it before, as I’ve posted it multiple times.

Another great example comes from what’s know as the Sturrock Panel. In the 1990s Peter Andrew Sturrock, a British scientist and Emeritus Professor of Applied Physics at Stanford University, met with other prominent scientists from around the world to examine the physical evidence that is commonly associated with the UFO phenomenon. One example used by Sturrock in his analysis is a photo taken by two Royal Canadian Air Force pilots on August 27th, 1956, in McCleod, Alberta, Canada. (“Physical Evidence Related To UFO Reports” – The Sturrock Panel Report – Electromagnetic Effects) (source) (source)

“If it does indeed turn out that there is relevant physical evidence, if this evidence is carefully collected and analyzed, and if this analysis leads to the identification of several facts concerning the UFO phenomenon, then will be the time for scientists to step back and ask, What are these facts trying to tell us? If those facts are strong enough to lead to a firm conclusion, then will be the time to confront the more bizarre questions. If, for instance, it turns out that all physical evidence is consistent with a mundane interpretation of the causes of UFO reports, there will be little reason to continue to speculate about the role of extraterrestrial beings. If, on the other hand, the analysis of physical evidence turns up very strong evidence that objects related with UFO reports were manufactured outside the solar system, then one must obviously consider very seriously that the phenomenon involves not only extraterrestrial vehicles but probably also extraterrestrial beings.”

–  From the Sturrock Panel (source)

The 2011 Global Competitiveness Forum, at which a number of prominent scientists attended, featured a lecture by Jacques Vallee, notable for co-developing the first computerized mapping of Mars for NASA, and for his work at SRI International on the network information centre for ARPANET, on the UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon. There, he also discusses the physical evidence we currently have.

“I must say that if your listeners could see for themselves the mass of reports coming in from airborne gendarmerie, and from the gendarmerie charged with the job of conducting investigations, all of which reports are being forwarded by us to the CNES (National Center for Space Studies), then they would see that it is all pretty disturbing.”

– Former French Minister of Defense Robert Galley (Dolan, Richard. UFOs For the 21st Century Mind: New York: Richard Dolan Press, 2014.)

Thousands upon thousands of previously classified documents related to UFOs and potential extraterrestrial beings have been released into the public domain by dozens of governments, as well as several Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. In the United States, the NSA, CIA, and FBI have done the same, proving that these agencies put significant resources toward studying this phenomenon. The topic has exited the realm of “conspiracy theory” and entered into the realm of reality, largely due to the efforts of hundreds of military whistleblowers of all ranks, as well as politicians and academics. We’re talking about generals, pilots, professors, astronauts, world leaders, and more. If one thing is abundantly clear, it’s that something is going on here, and some people have known about it for a very long time.

It’s no secret that countries spy on each other, and use a variety of methods to do so. Take the American government’s STARGATE project, for example, which investigated parapsychology and then used their findings to spy on other countries. Of course, we can’t forget about the Snowden leaks, which showed how the U.S. government actively spies on not only their own citizens, but also on major corporations, financial institutions, and other countries.

When it comes to the topic of UFOs, this is no exception. Multiple governments have black budget operations, referred to Unacknowledged Special Access Programs (SAPs) in the United States, and they have absolutely zero oversight from Congress.

A document found online in the CIA’s electronic reading room outlines how the CIA was gathering intelligence on a joint effort between the USSR and the People’s Republic of China (PRC). This was almost two decades ago, when scientists from the USSR as well as the PRC initiated a joint study on UFOs, and stands as yet another document showing how seriously global governments have investigated UFOs throughout history:

Scientists of the PRC and the Soviet Far East have begun joint study of UFO’s. The first meeting of ufologists of the two countries has ended in the small maritime townlet of Dalnegorsk. The Soviet and Chinese specialists on anomalous phenomena have mapped out a program for investigating incidents that are already known and have also arranged to directly exchange video and photographic materials on new similar phenomena. Dalnegorsk has not been chosen by chance as the place for such acquaintance. In the last few years the number of cases of visual observation of UFO’s has noticeably increased there. If The Extraterrestrial Hypothesis Is True, What Are They Interested In and Why Are They Here?

“Decades ago, visitors from other planets warned us about the direction we were heading and offered to help. Instead, some of us interpreted their visits as a threat, and decided to shoot first and ask questions after.”

– Former Canadian Defense Minister Paul Hellyer (source)

The document above was definitely an interesting find, particularly because it reveals that the experts who gathered in this joint effort linked the presence of these beings to the natural resources in the area. Now, if you’re thinking that extraterrestrials are going to invade us and use our planet for our resources, you’re probably incorrect. Why? Because the evidence suggests we have been being visited for a long time now. If some type of “invasion” were being planned, like the ones commonly portrayed in movies and television, it probably would have already happened.

It was also an interesting find for me personally because I’ve been researching this topic for a long time and have come across several stories regarding extraterrestrial craft landing, humanoid bodies exiting the vehicle, and the beings taking rocks and plants, almost like an ET scientist exploring our planet.

Other “experiencers” have also suggested many of these extraterrestrials are actually concerned with the well-being of our planet. This has been the sentiment of a large number of people who claim to have contact experiences, or telepathic experiences with extraterrestrial beings.

One of the most astonishing UFO witness cases comes from a supposed encounter with over sixty schoolchildren in the town of Ruwa, Zimbabwe, on September 16th, 1994. The children claim to have seen multiple hovering objects that resembled what we would describe as spaceships. Many of these children have now grown up, stating that they were shown images of a destroyed Earth in the future unless we collectively, as one human race, turn it around. You can read more about that specific story here.

There are literally thousands of these stories, most sharing similar details, and there are also countless whistleblowers adding to the evidence. For example, Colonel Ross Dedrickson, who, in the 1950s, was responsible for maintaining the inventory of the nuclear weapon stockpile for the AEC and accompanying security teams checking out the security of the weapons, among many other duties throughout his career, gave an interview about it shortly after he passed, stating that  some extraterrestrials are primarily concerned with the well-being of our planet.

He has also been outspoken about UFOs and their constant presence around nuclear missile facilities. To read more about that in detail, you can check out this related article:

Strong Evidence Shows Extraterrestrials Have Been Shutting Down Nuclear Missiles Worldwide For Decades, But Why?

If you want to learn more about this topic, you can find hundreds of heavily sourced articles in the exopolitics section of our website.

“Yes there have been crashed craft, and bodies recovered. . . . We are not alone in the universe, they have been coming here for a long time. I happen to be privileged enough to be in on the fact that we have been visited on this planet, and the UFO phenomenon is real.” (source) (source) (source)

– Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the 6th man to walk on the moon

I am going to leave you with this video, as I’ve done countless times before, so I apologize if you’ve seen it already. As the years go by, the evidence continues to get stronger and stronger, more so than the evidence we use to approve our prescription drugs, or posit the existence of black holes, for example.

Be Aware! US to Create Military 'Space Corps' In Air Force Overhaul

Be Aware! US to Create Military 'Space Corps' In Air Force Overhaul

Members of the US House Armed Services Committee have voted to create a "Space Corps," a sixth branch of the country’s armed forces focused on military maneuvers beyond the Earth’s atmosphere.

secret%2Bspace%2Bfleet.jpg

The space corps, which has yet to gain full approval, would absorb all of the Air Force’s current space missions under the umbrella of a new US Space Command could be implemented as soon as January 2019 reports RTnews.

It is striking that under the plan all operations involving the Air Force’s secretive X-37B space plane would fall under the control of the US Space Corps.

The X-37B space plane has flown four clandestine missions to date, carrying secret payloads on long-duration flights in Earth orbit.

Many people wonder whether the X-37B space plane is used for space weapon tests: It’s a secret project to make war in space or they wonder whether the plane is used as a shuttle service for the transportation of astronauts to and from the secret Solar Warden Fleet?

The payload bay which measures 7 feet long by 4 feet wide (2.1 by 1.2m) provides enough space for one or two astronauts.

With the announcement of the US Space Corps we might wonder whether it is a covert operation and actually a next step to unveil the existence of the Solar Warden Space Fleet which would fit perfectly.

Another reason for concern is the possibility that this new US Space Corps could be used for a false flag alien invasion whether or not in combination with the secret space fleet and advanced blue beam technology.

The space corps, which would be the first new military service since 1947, is not specifically banned by the Outer Space Treaty, a 1967 international agreement outlawing the use of the moon and other celestial bodies from being used as military outposts.

Weird humanoid-like object caught on camera flying over New Zealand

Weird humanoid-like object caught on camera flying over New Zealand

A weird object has been observed in the skies over New Zealand on July 1, 2017.

The photographer who took images of the object has no idea what it is, though he got the feeling that it might be a kind of machine.

humanoid%2Brobotic%2Bobject%2Bskies%2BNew%2BZealand%2B%25281%2529.jpg

About the event the photographer states: I take photos of the sky quite often and decided to take some cloud shots in the afternoon. I did not see this object until looking back at my photos and noticed a pinpoint dot two photos. After I zoomed in and spotted an object of strange shape and red in color.

A few of my friends have seen the images too and they have no idea what it could be. I have tried to zoom in and filter with no luck at all I feel like it's part of a machine or something but it looks nothing familiar at all. At all, it's fascinating that I caught this shot which I have submitted to Mufon case 84734 and I will keep it forever.

Additional: I have also tried to analyze the object en to me it looks like something is carrying a body, what tends to be a humanoid form keeping his hands on some sort of laptop/notebook or could it be a control panel?

humanoid%2Brobotic%2Bobject%2Bskies%2BNew%2BZealand%2B%25282%2529.jpg

Did the witness accidentally has captured a so-called Manned Maneuvering Unit something like NASA Astronaut Bruce McCandless has used outside the Space Shuttle Challenger on the Shuttle mission STS-41B in 1984?

Could it be a secret test case of a Maneuvering Unit manned with a new technology resembling a humanoid or a robotic form?

OUT OF THIS WORLD- Reports of UFO sightings still swirl around from time to time in region

OUT OF THIS WORLD- Reports of UFO sightings still swirl around from time to time in region

BHC 07022017 UFO East Tennessee 04
Inflated aliens sun themselves at the Washington Country Fair in Abingdon, Virginia.

On a July night last summer, after watching the Elizabethton Twins beat the Bristol Pirates 6-3, a man in Bristol, Tennessee, reported seeing a slow-moving red orb floating above Volunteer Parkway, making its way northeast toward Walmart.

The man was walking his dog after the game and saw the orb coming toward his house, located just behind the store.

“I ran inside the house to get my girlfriend so that she could also see it as it passed over,” the man told the Davenport, Washington-based National UFO Reporting Center, which doesn’t release the identity of those who report UFO sightings. “As I came back outside, I observed [the orb] traveling at a high rate of speed, heading southeast … as it became a small dot and went out of sight.”

Such close encounters of the third kind have popped up from time to time in the Mountain Empire. In the Tri-Cities area, at least 26 unidentified flying objects have been reported to the National UFO Reporting Center since 2015, according to the center’s reporting database.

This week marks the 70th anniversary of the Roswell, New Mexico, UFO incident, when an “unidentified object” crashed on a ranch northwest of the city. Air Force officials at the time claimed it was a weather balloon. In the 1990s, the U.S. military revealed it involved a top-secret atomic espionage project called Project Mogul.

Alternate theories about the event have shrouded it ever since the crash.

This fall will be the 30th anniversary of the wave of UFO sightings near Wytheville, Virginia, in 1987, when scores of people reported various strange lights in the sky.

So, is there truth to these extraterrestrial tales? You’ll have to decide. Come along for the ride anyway. It’ll be out of this world.

‘Strange lights in the sky’

After Wythe County Sheriff Wayne Pike told the public in October 1987 that four of his deputies, including some with military experience, had witnessed a UFO, the floodgates were open.

In the following months and well into 1988, a wave of people reported seeing strange lights and objects in the sky.

Danny Gordon, then the news director of radio station WYVE, also reported seeing a strange craft. A news conference in mid-October drew national attention and by the following year, Gordon personally received more than 3,000 reports, according to news reports.

Paul Dellinger worked as a reporter for The Roanoke Times for more than 40 years, covering counties in Southwest Virginia out of the paper’s Wytheville office. After Gordon’s first radio story, Dellinger began reporting the events, like when Sheriff Pike said some of his deputies saw strange objects in the sky.

“All of a sudden, everybody started seeing things,” Dellinger said.

Gordon and Dellinger started working together. Gordon had people who claimed to have witnessed UFOs on his radio show. Dellinger was there to take notes.

Dellinger said there were “some strange lights in the sky.” He even saw something odd one night.

“I was driving home at night and saw a light down at end of our road that looked like a streetlight, but like a scintillating light,” he said.

Dellinger said the light came down very slowly over the road and moved at the speed of a balloon. He also described hearing a very quiet motor.

The Wytheville hype gained national attention. Dellinger said a reporter from the National Inquirer came to look into the reports, but left without a story.

“He said it wasn’t sensational enough,” Dellinger said, laughing.

Despite his own experience, Dellinger said he’s not sure anyone saw actual UFOs.

“I don’t believe this particular set of sightings were extraterrestrial, but I don’t know what it was,” he said.

People have come up with explanations from balloons to blimps to experimental aircraft by the government.

“But nobody has ever come to a conclusion on it,” he said.

Gordon and Dellinger wrote a book about the ordeal called “Don't Look Up: The Real Story Behind the Virginia UFO Sightings.”

Gail Cooke and het late husband Bruce, stand next to the flying saucer in Blountville, Tennessee in 2003. Bruce built the saucer by attaching two satellite dishesand attaching legs.

Seeking hard evidence

Is the truth out there? Peter Davenport thinks so. Davenport is the director of the National UFO Reporting Center. It was started in 1974 by a retired Seattle fireman who was interested in the UFO phenomenon and believed the issue needed a central headquarters to gather information, Davenport said.

In 1994, Davenport took over. He said he fields anywhere from 15 to 30 reports of UFOs per day. The online database that he maintains has more than 100,000 entries from all 50 states, the territories of Canada and some other countries.

“Once you start seeing the data and seeing what people are seeing and observing and experiencing, you begin to realize there is a larger reality than what our mere five senses suggest is the case,” he said.

When he was 6, Davenport, surrounded by his family and hundreds of other people, said he saw a UFO at a drive-in theater in St. Louis.

“I’ve been hooked by the subject ever since, I’m afraid,” he said.

Davenport is aware there are skeptics out there. His response to those who doubt the existence of UFOs is to look at the data; he’s not a fan of the term “belief.”

“What I seek is evidence,” he said. “Photographic evidence, radar evidence — multiple eye witnesses, all of whom seem to be independent and reliable, reporting the same thing — that is the type of data I aspire to collect.”

Occasionally, instead of taking a page from E.T. and phoning home or phoning the NUFORC, those who claim to spot UFOs call the police.

Chief Deputy Byron Ashbrook of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said calls about UFOs are rare, but they do occur — maybe once or twice a year.

Ashbrook said the calls are treated like any other air traffic incident, like a report of a low-flying plane, for instance. Deputies ask for a detailed description and any identifying marks. Sometimes, they’ll call local airports for information.

Capt. Charlie Thomas, of the Bristol Tennessee Police Department, said in the time he has been at the department, since 1992, he hasn’t witnessed anything inexplicable.

If something were reported, “we’d go look and see if we observe whatever it was they were reporting and go from there,” he said.

Thomas said he knows of one UFO story from sometime in the late ’70s or ’80s, when a man wrecked his car near King College.

“His excuse was a UFO ran him off the road,” Thomas said.

Blountville’s own UFO

Drivers who pass Blountville Boulevard and Birch Street may run off the road if they’re unprepared for the UFO and two aliens resting in Gail Cooke’s front yard.

It’s an odd sight: The silver UFO is the size of a Volkswagen Beetle. Each alien is painted silver and stands about 4 feet tall. These days, one of the aliens is missing a head.

The UFO and the aliens in the yard of Gail Cooke have seen better days with effects of weather. The scene is photographed several times a week by passers-by and those who seek out the location.

Earl Neikirk/BHC

The otherworldly scene has been in the area for 40 years, since Cooke’s husband, Bruce, built it from a variety of parts. It has become something of a famous photo opp. Cooke, 77, said most days, two or three groups stop to take a photo by the UFO.

Cooke said the site has been on the internet since the internet’s inception.

“People may not remember anybody’s name, but they know where the spaceship is,” she said.

Cooke’s husband, Bruce, died six years ago. Many years ago, he told her he saw a UFO near his work at Holston Ordinance Works.

“I don’t know whether he did or not or whether he was just sleeping or dreaming,” Cooke said, laughing.

As for her own belief, Cooke said she doesn’t think about it too much.

“It makes sense that we’re not here by ourself,” she said. “I don’t know what’s out there, but I’m not going to worry about it — I have a hard time taking care of my little corner.

“There’s a lot of things in the world and in the universe that we don’t know, and we’re not meant to know and not meant to understand,” she said. “But you can’t say no to anything.”

Cooke’s UFO is made from two large fiberglass satellite dishes and a furnace top. Its legs came off a big TV camera. The aliens are plastic mannequins with foam heads.

Cooke said a lot of people have offered to buy the UFO.

“It’ll be there until I’m gone,” she said. “Somebody else can sell it.”

The truth

Davenport said a lot of witnesses want to call and talk at length about what they saw.

He prefers to get them off the phone and start writing.

“The more you talk to a witness, the more you risk including information on the final report that may not have been there,” he said. “The more you talk to a witness, the less likely you are to get a written follow-up report.”

He receives photos nearly every day, but he’s often let down.

“The overwhelming majority of the photos are not very satisfying,” Davenport said. “They’re vague, of poor quality and often taken with a cell phone.”

When asked if he worries that people are calling in hoaxes, Davenport said he can’t know for sure that every call is legitimate, but that doesn’t matter.

“That’s the same in journalism, it’s the same in law, in business, in government service — that is a problem that plagues every aspect of our existence on this planet: a person telling you the truth.”

ROSWELL — One hot day in early July 1947, rancher William “Mac” Brazel told Lincoln County Sheriff George Wilcox that he had found strange debris from some sort of aircraft crash at a remote site out in the desert, about 40 miles from Corona, N.M.

The sheriff called military officials at the Roswell Army Air Field, and Maj. Jesse Marcel, an intelligence officer, went out to investigate.

Within a day, the U.S. Army Air Force sent out a news release announcing it had found the remnants of a flying saucer. The Roswell Daily Record’s headline July 8, 1947, said it all: “RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch in Roswell Region.” The nation, swept up by a series of reports on unexplained discs in the skies, was transfixed by the possibility of visitors from outer space.

But the excitement was short-lived. On July 9, the Army Air Force retracted the story, saying the debris was actually from a weather balloon. Maj. Marcel posed for a now-famous photograph beside the balloon wreckage, and interest in the crash faded.

For 30 years, the Roswell Incident, as it is known, remained nothing more than a vague memory, one of many so-called “flying saucer” sightings in the anxious post-World War II days that ushered in the Cold War.

Then, in the late 1970s, a number of investigators, including nuclear physicist, author and UFO expert Stanton Friedman, began taking a second look at the crash, interviewing dozens of witnesses. The talks renewed media interest and spurred theories of a massive government cover-up that included death threats and, possibly, fatalities of people who had seen alien remains. There have since been dozens of books about the Roswell Incident and a 1990s TV movie. The X Files, a long-running science-fiction TV series, covered Roswell in one episode. Some years ago, the town even presented a short-lived original theatrical production called Roswell: The Musical.

In the early 1990s, the Roswell UFO Museum opened on Main Street, drawing thousands of tourists from all over the world, and a few years later, the town held its first UFO Festival.

Businesses in the city, capitalizing on visitors’ curiosity, offer alien-themed souvenirs and sport signs that say, “Aliens Welcome” or “UFO and Alien Stuff.” King Treasure House on Main Street, which offers “inspirational books,” advertises its wares as being “not of this world.”

“The word ‘Roswell’ is synonymous with UFOs,” said Jim Hill, the museum’s executive director.

As Roswell began commemorating the 70th anniversary of the crash and celebrating the museum’s 25th year, about 15,000 visitors converged on the town late last week and throughout the weekend for the 22nd annual UFO Festival. The four-day event featured lectures by experts and enthusiasts, a panel talk by people who say they’ve been abducted by extraterrestrials, a discussion of “demonic” UFOs, a dramatic reading of H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds, an electric light parade and an “alien pet” contest.

“We are a town stamped by something that happened in 1947,” said Roswell Mayor Dennis J. Kintigh, a former state representative, FBI agent and Air Force veteran who worked in the aerospace industry. His background is enough to deepen the suspicion of conspiracy theorists.

“Roswell has a brand — and good, bad or indifferent, it is our brand,” Kintigh said.

That brand means money for a town struggling with a 6.3 percent unemployment rate — just under the state’s 6.6 percent average — and an uncertain oil and gas revenue base. The UFO Museum, which keeps handwritten logs of visitors, recorded more than 200,000 guests in 2016. The city’s 26 hotels reported a total of 248,476 room bookings last year.

Businesses particularly prosper during the UFO Festival. City officials expect this weekend’s event to funnel $6 million into the local economy. Juanita Jennings, a city spokeswoman, said every hotel room and rental car in the city was booked by Friday afternoon.

Jessie Payne, manager of The Alien Zone, where tourists can pose for photos with fake extraterrestrial figures in everyday settings — a bar, a living room, an outhouse — said the store doubles its profits during the four days of the festival.

Peggy Krantz, who runs the downtown Gallery-Main Street Arts store, said sales quadruple. “During the UFO Festival, every single artist will sell,” she said.

Even when the festival is not in progress, businesses benefit from the UFO brand.

Melissa Cobos and her husband run The Nifty 50s retro novelty store just a few blocks away from the UFO Museum. She knows which of her customers have been to the museum because they are still wearing the bright yellow sticker handed out at the entrance. And most of them come for the UFO story.

“I don’t need to do a survey to see how beneficial aliens are to us,” she said. “I am the survey.”

The UFO connection provides a financial lifeline that doesn’t even require much advertising.

“You couldn’t spend millions and get this kind of publicity,” said John Mulcahy, president of the Roswell-Chaves County Economic Development Corp., a nonprofit designed to create jobs and increase prosperity in the region. “Roswell and its aliens has an international brand,” he added.

Australia native Roo Kline, who visited the UFO Museum on Friday with her son, Jesse, agrees. “Roswell is known worldwide,” she said. “You mention Roswell, and everybody knows what you are talking about.”

Before there were aliens

Once just a cattle-drive stop for cowhands to wet their whistles and eat some grub, Roswell is now a town of not quite 50,000 people driven by oil and gas revenue, agriculture, dairies and tourism.

The flies are everywhere. They’re drawn to the dairies and the manure that ranchers and farmers use to fertilize their lands.

Van C. Smith and partner Aaron Wilburn are credited with founding Roswell — about 200 miles southeast of Albuquerque and 200 miles northeast of Las Cruces — after they built a couple of adobe structures in the area around 1869.

Smith became the town’s first postmaster and named it after his father.

When the bloody Lincoln County War broke out nearby, tiny Roswell remained a neutral refuge, local historian John LeMay said. That’s because it had the only post office in the area, and Smith told both sides that if they acted up, he would close down the service.

“Both sides were afraid to cause violence because they were afraid they would not get their mail,” LeMay said.

Billy the Kid, one of the most notorious men involved with that war, was never a problem in Roswell, LeMay said, because Smith’s successor, former Confederate officer Joseph Lea, warned Billy not to instigate trouble.

“I always joke that if Billy the Kid had shot up the town, we’d have something extra to promote today,” LeMay said.

The railroad came to town in the 1890s, about the same time the New Mexico Military Institute opened.

LeMay said “nothing much of interest” happened in Roswell between the turn of the century and the early 1930s, when rocket scientist Robert H. Goddard came to town to experiment with liquid-fueled rockets. Few locals were aware of this.

Whether any of them saw strange lights darting through the night sky at the time is unknown.

The Army Air Force opened an air base, later named Walker Air Force Base, in 1941. During World War II, the government built a German prisoner-of-war camp in Roswell, and you can still see the Cross of Iron those prisoners made in the rock wall of the Pecos River, which weaves its way through downtown.

If the town was known for anything at all in those days, based on a look at old Roswell postcards, it was for the military institute and for being “the gateway to Ruidoso.”

Today, it is known for its extraterrestrials.

They are everywhere, like the flies: on city street lamps, on storefront windows, on menus — many local restaurants offer Alien Burgers — and in even the choice of green — as in Little Green Men — or red chile.

A 3-year-old local dance troupe calls itself the Alien Evolution Dance Co. The ensemble recently purchased some green polyester costumes for a performance during the UFO Festival.

“If it weren’t for the aliens, we would be just like any other small town,” said 14-year-old Haily Gonzales, who dances with the troupe.

‘The universe is so big’

Roswell historian and UFO researcher Dennis Balthasar said the Roswell Incident has held the public’s fascination for decades because “it was the first reported UFO crash and the only one where the government went public. And that was a mistake.”

Friedman, who gave several talks during this weekend’s festival, said the Roswell Incident is the “ultimate” case in UFO history because the story broke at a time when people were confident in the government and then resurfaced amid growing distrust.

The initial news followed a terrible world war that took millions of lives, Friedman said. Postwar Americans still had faith in their government, so when the Army Air Force first said a spacecraft was found, and then explained it away as a weather balloon, the public bought the story.

“Right after the war, if our government said something, we believed it,” he said. “They wouldn’t lie to us.”

About a decade before the incident, film and theater actor and director Orson Welles wrote and produced a radio broadcast of H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds. The show terrified listeners, many of whom believed the broadcast was a real-life, on-the-spot account of invaders from outer space. If there were a UFO involved in the Roswell Incident, Friedman and others said, the public’s hysterical reaction to Welles’ radio show may have made government officials cautious about sharing the news.

The Roswell story was revived following the Vietnam War and the Watergate era, when Americans had grown wary of the government.

Interest in the story continued to develop as the government offered different explanations for the crash.

While some witnesses claimed to have caught glimpses of small, unearthly bodies scattered around the debris area, the Air Force — which became a separate branch of the military shortly after the crash — announced decades later that what people saw were dummies used in a high-altitude parachuting test.

But the Air Force did not initiate that test until the early 1950s, Friedman said.

In the mid-1990s, the government said the crash came amid a top-secret program called Project Mogul to test a way to detect Soviet nuclear detonations.

Still, stories remain of government men dressed all in black, warning locals and military personnel involved in the incident not to speak of it, leading many to fear they might face some sort of reprisal. Jesse Marcel III, the grandson of the officer who first visited the crash site in 1947, said during an appearance at the UFO Festival that this cloud of fear hung over his grandfather until the man’s death.

Many people at the festival said they believe something from another planet did crash in the New Mexico desert 70 years ago. They want to believe.

One of them was Katherine Diaz, 14, from San Antonio, Texas, who vividly recalled seeing a spacecraft hovering in the skies over the Nevada desert one dark night during a family road trip.

“It was triangular, with a light on each end of it and a big red light in the middle,” she said.

Her mother was driving, and her father and brother were sleeping. None of them saw it.

“They don’t believe me,” Diaz said as she walked through the UFO Museum.

She believes, she said. “The universe is so big, we can’t be the only ones in it.”

UFO City’s uncertain future

Younger generations, weaned on science-fiction films and animated shows in which extraterrestrials figure prominently, may be more prone to believing in life on other planets than their parents and grandparents, Balthasar said.

“For young people who grew up on Star Wars, Star Trek and The X Files, aliens is no big deal,” he said.

But Balthasar was one of few people who suggested that interest in the incident, and in Roswell itself, will wane over the years, likely taking a toll on the city’s economy. Looking ahead to 2047, the centennial of the Roswell Incident, he said, “Most of the researchers will be gone by then, and if nobody new picks it up, it could die off. And nobody new or young is picking it up.”

Most others disagree. Anne Baker, owner of the Stellar Coffee Co. on Main Street — which offers a refreshing Kiwi Alien Soda — said, “It hasn’t faded away by now, and it’s not going to fade away. There have been times in Roswell’s history when locals wanted to forget about it because there is so much more to Roswell than the UFO Incident, and it still didn’t die. It won’t die.”

Molly Boyles, owner of Once Again Consignment on Main Street, also has faith that the brand will stick forever. “Something — whatever it was that crashed — has helped keep Roswell alive and made it what it is. I don’t think that’s going to go away.”

Marcel III said he believes the U.S. government may soon reveal more information about the Roswell Incident, which would increase interest and attention.

“I almost think the government is ready to get this out … and I almost think that I may be one of the people they use to get it out,” he told about 75 people who attended a discussion about his father and grandfather’s involvement in the incident.

Roswell, he said, continues to fascinate people for one reason: “Roswell is about believing.”

Area 51 is one of the most secretive locations in the world.

Now, UFO hunters at SecureTeam 10 have released leaked footage which they claim shows an alien craft is hiding in the Nevada-based military facility.

SECURETEAM 10 CONTROVERSY

SectureTeam10 is one of the most viewed YouTube channels, with over 785,000 people subscribing to its conspiracy videos.

But the channel has come under fire, as Lions Ground, a rival channel, claims that it has been intentionally fooling its viewers.

According to Lions Ground, SecureTeam10 has been raking in an estimated £600 ($745) a day by posting fake videos that 'outsmart UFO believers.'

'It's one of the mysterious pieces in UFOlogy', said Tyler Glockner who runs SecureTeam 10 on the YouTube clip.

He described the footage, which was believed to have been filmed in the 1980s or 1990s, as a 'hidden gem'.

The unexplained object appears to be getting higher and higher and releases a strange light as the footage goes on.

The Nevada-based military testing facility has been a focal point of many conspiracy theorists and UFOlogists since the late 1970s, who claim that the base houses secretive alien technology.

The sprawling military complex sits between a dry lake bed to the North East, and a small mountain to the West.

Area 51 has been a hot spot for extra terrestrial enthusiasts because the government did not acknowledge its existence until 2013.

It has long been fenced off from the prying eyes of the public, with armed guards swarming the surrounding area.

'Area 51 has always been a magnet for those who believe the US Government knows a lot more about UFOs than they are prepared to reveal to the public,' Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual, told MailOnline.

'People like the late Boyd Bushman, a senior scientist who worked for Lockheed Martin, have declared that Area 51 is a base where extraterrestrial spacecraft and technology is stored and examined.'

Claims of alien conspiracies around Area 51 have largely been debunked.

But the site has been confirmed as a historic test site for military aircraft.

Famous machines developed there include the U-2 spy plane, SR-71 Blackbird, and the F-117A Nighthawk stealth fighter.

MAJESTIC 12 : Forbidden Story

MAJESTIC 12 : Forbidden Story

to-2ch-var-noua-1.jpg?fit=720%2C340

In UFO conspiracy theories, Majestic 12 (or MJ-12) is the code name of an alleged secret committee of scientists, military leaders, and government officials, formed in 1947 by an executive order by U.S. President Harry S. Trumanto facilitate recovery and investigation of alien spacecraft. The concept originated in a series of supposedly leaked secret government documents first circulated by ufologists in 1984. Upon examination, the Federal Bureau of Investigation(FBI) declared the documents to be “completely bogus”, and many ufologists consider them to be an elaborate hoax. Majestic 12 remains popular among some UFO conspiracy theorists and the concept has appeared in popular culture including television, film and literature.

The story of how the original MJ-12 papers came to light is an interesting look into the mindset of some of the leading UFO researchers, and an excellent example of the quality of UFO evidence that is acceptable to some people.

The concept of “Majestic Twelve” emerged during a period in the 1980s when ufologists believed there had been a cover-up of the Roswell UFO incident and speculated some secretive upper tier of the United States government was responsible. Their suppositions appeared to be confirmed in 1984 when ufologist Jaime Shandera received an envelope containing film which, when developed, showed images of eight pages of documents that appeared to be briefing papers describing “Operation Majestic Twelve”.

In December, 1984, Jaime Shandera, a Hollywood movie producer and UFO researcher, received an unusual package through the post. Inside was just one roll of undeveloped 35mm black and white film. There were no accompanying letter or return address, the only clue to where the package came from was by the postmark which was Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Once developed, the film contained negatives of what appeared to be an eight page briefing paper, prepared on 18th November, 1952, for president-elect Dwight D. Eisenhower. A warning on the first page read, ‘This is a TOP SECRET – EYES ONLY document containing compartmentalized information essential to the national security of the United States’. On page two was a list of 12 influential US scientists, military leaders and intelligence advisors. It was not until viewing page three that the subject of the papers became clear, ‘the recovery of a crashed flying saucer and alien bodies near Roswell, New Mexico, in July 1947’.

The final page of the briefing paper was a memorandum, dated 24th September,1947, from President Harry Truman to his secretary of Defence, James Forrestal. In it, Truman instructs Forrestal to proceed with ‘Operation Majestic-12’, but gives no hint at what that might be.

Alone, the Forrestal memo was meaningless. But when read next to the 1952 briefing paper, the story behind them became clear: in July 1947, a ‘flying disc-shaped aircraft’ crashed landed in Roswell, New Mexico, and ‘extra-terrestrial biological entities’ (EBEs) are recovered by the military. When President Truman is informed about the crash, he authorizes Defence Secretary Forrestal to set up a committee to investigate and deal with the situation.

In 1952, when Eisenhower becomes President-elect, he is briefed on Operation Majestic-12. The briefing paper lists the 12-man committee and gives details of the saucer crash. The final paragraph stresses the need to ‘avoid public panic at all costs’, confirming that the government is covering up the truth about UFOs.

The Majestic-12 documents consisted of an eight page briefing paper to President Eisenhower detailing a UFO crash at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947, another crash at El Indio, Texas in 1950, and listing the members of the government’s special Majestic-12 or “MJ-12” UFO group. It was dated “18 November, 1952”, and it named “Admiral” Roscoe H. Hillenkoetter as the briefing officer. There was also a memo from President Harry S Truman to Secretary of Defense Forrestal that authorized the creation of the MJ-12 group.

However, what is often ignored, glossed over, or has just been lost to obscurity, is the fact that the first mention of MJ-12 was in a document that was alleged by Richard Doty, an ex-special agent for the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), to have been created as disinformation. He says he gave the document to UFO researchers while he worked for AFOSI, and was order to do so by his superiors. He says this was only one incident in acampaign that lasted years.

Hesitant to take his word for it, I requested documents related to his claims from AFOSI via the Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIA). The documents I received supported some of what he said, but told a different story. They do document the interactions with AFOSI and one UFO researcher, but do not include passing him disinformation. In fact, they say two New Mexico state senators requested information about the nature of their interaction with the UFO researcher, to which AFOSI replied they received his information, but did not engage in any sort of formal investigation.

The documents purported to reveal a secret committee of twelve, supposedly authorized by United States President Harry S. Truman in 1952, and explain how the crash of an alien spacecraft at Roswell in 1947 had been concealed, how the recovered alien technology could be exploited, and how the United States should engage with extraterrestrial life in the future.

Shandera and his ufologist colleagues Stanton T. Friedman and Bill Moore say they later received a series of anonymous messages that led them to find what has been called the “Cutler/Twining memo” in 1985 while searching declassified files in the National Archives. Purporting to be written by General Nathan F. Twining to President Eisenhower’s assistant Robert Cutler and containing a reference to Majestic 12, the memo is widely held to be a forgery, likely planted as part of a hoax. Historian Robert Goldberg wrote that the ufologists came to believe the story despite the documents being “obviously planted to bolster the legitimacy of the briefing papers”.

Moore, Shandera, and Friedman altered the appearance of the MJ-12 documents in their first release of the Focus newsletter to give the appearance of government censorship. They later had to admit that they did it themselves.

At the ON UFO Symposium Proceedings, “MJ-12 and Phil Klass: What are the facts?” by William L. Moore and Stanton T. Friedman: They included a reproduction of the mail packet addressed to Jaime Shandera. The bottoms of the postmarks were blackened out on all three postmarks. This would have shown the state and city that the mail packet was mailed in. In the presentation, Moore and Friedman stated the package “bore no return address”.

In reality, there was a return address. It was Albuquerque, NM! Guess who lived in Albuquerque, NM. Richard Doty- associate of William Moore! If the address had been shown, people might have started checking more on Doty. But Moore and Friedman stated that the package bore no return address.

Aside from the suspicious origins of the Majestic-12 papers, there are several problems with the documents themselves.

The Date: Military documents were formatted using strict guidelines, including the structure of dates. At the time the MJ-12 briefing was alleged to have been written, the format was day month year. No commas, no place-holding zeros. But the date in the MJ-12 document used a day month (comma) year format. This brief was supposedly generated at the very highest level of the military; a level that would not have made such a fundamental error in format.

Hillenkoetter’s Rank: The document refers to “Admiral” Hillenkoetter, when his true rank was REAR Admiral. In casual speech or among civilians this error might occur, but a military man would never make such an error. It was the military that wrote the brief.

Verbiage: Two terms used in the document were not in use during the 50’s. The word “media” to refer to the Press did not appear until the 70’s. Likewise the term “impacted”.

Security: The Cutler-Twining memo is stamped “Top Secret Restricted Information”. There was no such classification in 1954. Not until the Nixon era was this classification used.

Code Word MAJIC: This appears to be the code name assigned to this project. However, this would constitute a major violation of the code naming scheme used by the military for well over a decade.

Secure projects are assigned code names from a one-time use list that is shared by all parts of the military and civilian government bodies. Just prior to WWII, the code name MAGIC was assigned to the effort to break the high security Japanese diplomatic code. The project was still under the wraps of Top Secret in the early 50’s so it could not be “re-used”. Yet, here we have the term MAJIC being applied to the Majestic-12, an assignment that clearly could not happen.

MJ-12 proponents point to the different spelling, but the code list was constructed to avoid phonetic similarities that could cause confusion in oral communications. It would appear that the author(s) of the Majestic briefing papers were conscious of the newly de-classified story of the MAGIC operation when this was concocted.

There are several other points that one might accurately call minor, but when you take all these errors together in one set of documents, the coincidence level redlines.

The most spectacular new MJ-12 document was posted in 1994 to Don Berliner, a longtime UFO investigator and science writer. The anonymous roll of film contained 23 pages of a ‘Majestic-12 Group Special Operations Manual’, dated April, 1954. It was a detailed instruction manual entitled ‘Extra-terrestrial Entities and Technology, Recovery and Disposal’.

Because most of the MJ-12 documents are on film, the original paper or ink cannot be analysed. However there are many factual details that can be checked, such as the background of the 12 members of the committee, the dates of meetings, the style and format of similar documents, and the validity of the signatures. Clearly, MJ-12 had an all-star cast, as well as Secretary of Defence Forrestal, there were the first three Directors of Central Intelligence, an Air Force General, an Army General, the Secretary of the Army and five of the US’s most influential scientists. This was the cream of the US’s military, scientific and intelligence communities. If there was to be a top-secret government group investigating UFOs, this would have been it.
