The Grays are the hypothetical type of intelligent extraterrestrial that appears most frequently in modern stereotypes about aliens in the media, ufology and conspiracy theories, including stories of alleged alien abductions.

Extraterrestrial

The Grays are described in various ways, but generally as humanoids of short stature (1 meter / 1 and 20 cm), slender, completely hairless and gray skin (hence the name), with large heads, huge almond eyes covered with a black membrane and small mouths, often without lips, long arms and four fingers. Sometimes they are described wearing a space suit. In the classification of alien races developed in the 1980s by the ufologist Brad Steiger, the Grays would belong to the so-called Alpha type, while the Nordic would belong to the Beta type. The association between the Grays and the star system of Zeta Reticuli instead derives indirectly from the story of an alleged alien abduction suffered by the spouses Hill of New Hampshire (United States) in 1961.

In UFO conspiracy theories the type of the Gray aliens was often associated with the Roswell incident in June 1947, where an alien spacecraft would have crashed, causing the death of all but one occupant.

John Mack, a professor at the Medical School of Harvard, claimed that many of his patients who claim to have been victims of alien kidnapping have described close encounters with Gray-like extraterrestrials.

In his books Abduction and Passport to the Cosmos describes their experiences, arguing that such contacts have spiritually transformed his patients elevating them momentarily to a higher level of consciousness. As there is a multiplicity of creatures on Earth, so there could be other beings, even intelligent, created by God.

This does not conflict with our faith, because we can not limit the creative freedom of God. To be honest, if we consider earthly creatures. like ‘brother’ and ‘sister’, why could not we also talk about an extraterrestrial brother? It would still be part of the creation.

Les O.V.N.I., un phénomène socio-psychologique ?

Dix raisons de le penser
Cet article présente dix raisons de penser que le phénomène O.V.N.I. (le fait que certaines personnes témoignent voir des « objets » qui volent et qu’elles ne savent pas identifier) est de nature socio-psychologique. En effet, la science classique et plus particulièrement le mouvement sceptique n’accepte pas l’hypothèse défendue par la communauté ufologique [1], selon laquelle les O.V.N.I.. seraient en fait des vaisseaux spatiaux extra-terrestres. Nous allons voir dans cet article pourquoi la science classique refuse cette approche. Contrairement à ce que l’on pourrait penser, ce n’est pas tant l’idée d’une visite extraterrestre de notre planète qui est rejetée, mais les « preuves » apportées en sa faveur.

1. La violation de notre expérience quotidienne

La Guerre des, Mondes film tiré du célèbre roman de H.G. Wells, montre une invasion d’extra-terrestres. Sortez de chez vous et faites une balade, observez attentivement votre environnement. Comptez : combien d’extraterrestres (E.T.) croisez-vous dans la rue ? Combien de vaisseaux spatiaux voyez-vous dans le ciel ? La réponse est simple et universelle : zéro. Où se cachent-ils ? Vous devriez en voir facilement, au vu du nombre d’objets se baladant dans notre atmosphère selon les ufologues. Nous n’expérimentons pas dans notre vie de tous les jours la présence des E.T. sur notre planète, comme nous le ferions après un premier contact. Si vraiment des E.T. visitent notre planète, pourquoi ne sont-ils pas plus visibles ? Pourquoi ne se posent-ils pas par exemple dans le jardin de la Maison Blanche ou de l’Elysée, voire même régulièrement chez l’un d’entre nous ? Pourquoi l’armée n’a-t-elle pas encore réussi à en abattre un ?

2. L’absence d’événements majeurs donnant raison aux ufologistes

L’ufologie existe depuis plus de cinquante ans. Durant toutes ces années, l’événement majeur qui prouverait que les ufologues orthodoxes ont raison ne s’est pas produit. En fait, chaque année qui passe augmente la probabilité que le phénomène O.V.N.I. soit de nature socio-psychologique. On pourrait, selon nous, en se laissant aller, imaginer trois types d’événements majeurs susceptibles d’apporter la confirmation des thèses ufologistes. Le premier serait qu’un vaisseau spatial, de préférence piloté par des E.T., se pose devant le palais de Buckingham ou le Kremlin par exemple. Les E.T. nous confirmeraient qu’ils survolent la terre depuis très longtemps, qu’un de leurs vaisseaux s’est écrasé à Roswell, qu’ils enlèvent des humains dans le cadre d’un programme d’hybridation, qu’ils ont influencé le développement des civilisations humaines depuis la plus haute Antiquité, ou que sais-je encore… Le second serait que les militaires abattent un vaisseau spatial extraterrestre ou que l’un d’entre eux s’écrase devant témoins, et que celui-ci puisse être étudié par tous les scientifiques de la planète (et pas comme l’élusive soucoupe de Roswell et ses mystérieux occupants). Le troisième serait que le président des Etats-Unis fasse une déclaration publique, avec preuves à l’appui, affirmant que son gouvernement cache la réalité du phénomène O.V.N.I. au grand public depuis des décennies. Si un de ces trois événements se produisait, les ufologues se verraient donner raison, mais nous attendons toujours…

3. L’absence de résultats du programme « Searching for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence » (SETI)

Si un jour le programme SETI. captait une émission radio E. T., cela ne serait pas véritablement un événement majeur confirmant des croyances soucoupiques, comme nous l’envisagions au paragraphe précédent. Néanmoins, cela apporterait aux ufologues le soutien théorique de la preuve qu’une civilisation E.T. avancée existe dans l’univers. Si l’univers foisonne de civilisations interstellaires comme les ufologues le pensent, il doit logiquement aussi foisonner de signaux de toutes sortes, alors pourquoi les chercheurs du SETI. ne détectent-ils rien ? On peut aisément avancer le fait qu’il faut laisser du temps à SETI avant de conclure quant au foisonnement des civilisations avancées dans notre univers proche. Néanmoins, le temps qui passe sans détection augmente la probabilité que les signaux soient tout simplement rares dans l’espace. Et si les signaux sont rares, c’est sans doute que la probabilité que des civilisations avancées existent est faible et qu’elles puissent nous visiter est encore plus faible.

4. La violation de nos connaissances scientifiques

Il s’agit d’un des arguments les plus souvent invoqués : la physique nous apprend qu’il n’est pas possible de dépasser la vitesse de la lumière. Cette impossibilité rend les distances spatiales gigantesques et difficilement franchissables. Or, les O.V.N.I. semblent pouvoir dépasser la vitesse de la lumière afin de pouvoir venir nous visiter quotidiennement ou presque. De même, les O.V.N.I. peuvent réaliser dans le ciel des manœuvres qui semblent impossibles, que ce soit disparaître en un clin d’œil, accélérer à une vitesse extraordinaire en une fraction de seconde, etc. Lors des « enlèvements », les E.T. font parfois passer un être humain à travers un mur, rendent invisible leur vaisseau au voisinage durant l’enlèvement afin que personne d’autre ne les voie, communiquent par télépathie (alors que l’existence de la télépathie pour les humains n’est pas démontrée aux yeux de la communauté scientifique), etc. Lors des enlèvements, les E. T. forcent parfois les humains à s’accoupler avec eux pour créer des hybrides, ce qui va à l’encontre des lois connues sur l’impossibilité de la reproduction entre espèces différentes. Les lois scientifiques que nous connaissons sont universelles, et s’appliquent jusqu’aux confins du cosmos. Pouvoir les enfreindre relève plutôt des récits mythologiques.

5. L’absence de preuves tangibles

Les ufologues nous parlent toujours des preuves qu’ils possèdent : des témoignages (alors que les recherches en psychologie ont montré le peu de fiabilité du témoignage humain), des photos (mais que vaut une photo quand elle peut être truquée ?), des détections radars (rares, ce qui soulève la question du pourquoi de l’absence de détection de la grande majorité des O.V.N.I.) et des « preuves » physiques (mais le terrain n’étant pas examiné avant la vision d’O.V.N.I., il n’y a pas de comparaison possible et la preuve physique trouvée peut-être là depuis bien longtemps, générée par toute autre chose que le prétendu vaisseau spatial). Les ufologues ne nous parlent pas de ce qu’ils n’ont pas : des preuves tangibles, irréfutables et incontestables ! De véritables preuves seraient par exemple du matériel biologique extraterrestre, de la technologie indubitablement non terrestre ou encore dans le cadre de la Théorie des Anciens Astronautes, la démonstration de connaissances impossibles pour l’époque proposée.

6. L’ensemble des déboulonnages

Depuis le début du phénomène O.V.N.I., les sceptiques ont réalisé un ensemble de contre-enquêtes montrant les faiblesses et les insuffisances des recherches réalisées par les ufologues. De nombreux témoignages ont été démontrés n’être en fait que de mauvaises interprétations de perceptions. Il est facile pour un témoin de confondre des causes naturelles (astres, météores, phénomènes atmosphériques), des engins volants bien connus mais mal identifiés (aéronefs, fusées ou satellites), ou encore des appareils militaires secrets (U-2 après 1955 ou plus récemment les F-17 ou les B-2), avec un vaisseau spatial. Les recherches en psychologie montrent en effet que des mécanismes d’illusions d’optique sont à l’œuvre dans ces interprétations erronées. Le pourcentage important de témoignages prouvés comme étant de nature socio-psychologique soulève le doute quant au caractère réel des cas prétendument solides.

7. L’incohérence des observations

Les témoins d’O.V.N.I. ont décrit des dizaines de vaisseaux et des dizaines d’E.T. différents. Cela suppose que notre planète soit une sorte d’arrêt sur l’équivalent d’une autoroute galactique. A l’inverse, si tous les témoins décrivaient un seul type de vaisseau et plus important encore un seul type d’E.T., nous pourrions plus facilement concevoir qu’une espèce est présente sur notre planète. Ce n’est pas le cas : ce que les ufologues appellent un O.V.N.I. recouvre des descriptions extrêmement différentes, qui vont de la boule de lumière à la soucoupe traditionnelle, en passant par le triangle… Dans le même ordre d’idée, des témoignages d’O.V.N.I. sont liés à d’autres phénomènes paranormaux comme des Big Foot [2] ou le Mothman [3], ce qui est loin d’accroître la cohérence interne des observations.

8. L’existence des autres phénomènes réputés paranormaux

Le phénomène O.V.N.I. pousse finalement la communauté scientifique à formuler les mêmes réserves que pour l’ensemble des autres phénomènes réputés paranormaux. Si seulement il y avait du matériel biologique ou technologique extraterrestre à étudier… Si seulement nous avions un Big Foot (vivant ou mort) à étudier… La difficulté épistémologique est similaire. Le fait que des personnes prétendent apercevoir des anges, des Mothmen, des fées, des fantômes ou encore le monstre du Loch Ness prouve une fois encore que la perception humaine (et le témoignage qui en découle) ne présente aucun critère de fiabilité. L’être humain a tendance à projeter sa mythologie dans la réalité, au moyen de toutes sortes de mécanismes sociaux et psychologiques.

9. Les E.T. ressemblent à des créatures folkloriques

Lorsque l’on examine les témoignages des Rencontres Rapprochées du Troisième Type (RR3) (au lieu de simplement voir un O.V.N.I., le témoin prétend avoir directement rencontré un E.T.), on remarque rapidement le comportement étrange des E.T.. Ils n’agissent pas comme on s’attendrait à ce qu’un être provenant d’une civilisation avancée agisse. Ils ne font pas de révélation scientifique. Au contraire, ils offrent par exemple des biscuits au témoin. On ne peut pas dire que traverser l’espace pour venir offrir des biscuits à un être humain soit particulièrement logique. Ou bien ils demandent sans arrêt au témoin la date du jour. Leurs actions évoquent plus la mythologie féerique que véritablement une espèce extraterrestre technologiquement avancée. A travers les âges, des individus ont témoigné être entrés en contact avec des créatures étrangères à ce monde sans pour autant être extraterrestres : des anges, des démons, des dieux, des fées, des lutins, etc. Tous ces êtres magiques étaient de forme humanoïde, comme toutes les races extraterrestres présentes dans le phénomène O.V.N.I. le sont aussi. Inutile de dire que ce n’est pas vraiment ce que la communauté scientifique s’attend à trouver dans l’espace, en fonction de nos connaissances en exobiologie [4] et dans le domaine de l’évolution des espèces sur Terre. Les témoignages de rencontres folkloriques ressemblent fortement aux témoignages modernes recueillis par les ufologues, simplement transposés dans un autre cadre culturel où la science est dominante.

10. L’antériorité de la Science-Fiction

Un des arguments sceptiques les plus souvent cités dans la littérature est l’antériorité de la Science-Fiction. En effet, les historiens ont montré que le phénomène O.V.N.I. a été décrit par les auteurs de S.F. dans les pulps (les revues imprimées sur du mauvais papier du début du XXe siècle aux États-Unis), bien avant la première observation de Kenneth Arnold en 1947. Se pourrait-il que les auteurs de S. F. aient pu voir l’avenir ou n’est-il pas plus simple de penser que leurs histoires ont influencé l’ensemble des témoignages ultérieurs ?

Utilisons le rasoir d’Ockham !
Nous avons fait le tour des raisons qui poussent la communauté scientifique à refuser le phénomène O.V.N.I. comme étant réel. Encore une fois, chacune de ces raisons est suffisante en elle-même pour soulever des doutes quant à son origine extraterrestre. Toutes ces raisons additionnées les unes aux autres justifient l’hypothèse socio-psychologique. A ce propos, les épistémologues parlent du « rasoir d’Ockham [5] » : entre deux théories scientifiques, il faut choisir la plus simple. Entre une explication extra-ordinaire, sans preuves dures et violant nos connaissances scientifiques et des explications ordinaires bien documentées par la recherche scientifique (par exemple, des perceptions mal interprétées), il faut choisir la seconde. La communauté scientifique acceptera peut-être un jour le phénomène O.V.N.I. comme étant réel, après un premier contact ou lorsque des preuves véritablement incontestables auront été apportées en sa faveur. La science prend du temps, beaucoup de temps et se doit d’être extrêmement prudente dans toutes ses affirmations. Ce n’est que de cette façon que la vérité est découverte, lentement mais sûrement…

OVNI EN AFRIQUE DU SUD INFO OU INTOX

The ancient world is infused with all manner of mysteries that have perplexed us or faded into history, and among these were the myriad remarkable inventions and displays of knowledge often shown by various peoples of the past, ranging from great feats of engineering, to strange devices, to remarkably accurate maps of the stars, and more. Often inexplicable and baffling, these curiosities demonstrate that, far from being primitives, these ancients often had access to technology and skills far ahead of their times. But some incredible artifacts, structures, and sites discovered around the world seem to suggest that this knowledge may have passed even beyond that, to reach out into the world of science fiction and fantasy and hint at a possible ability to step through doorways in order to traverse time and space or to somehow move through dimensions or worlds. Here is a look at some of these anomalous portals and stargates of the ancients.

Standing at Hayu Marca in Peru is a structure that consists of two apparent stone “archways,” with one measuring exactly 22 feet by 22 feet, and another smaller one measuring about 7 feet high, both carved into sheer rock. While the structure is mysterious and fascinating enough as it is, the legends and rumors that surround it are even more so. The ancient Incas believed that the larger of the two “doorways” was used by the gods to travel between worlds, whereas the smaller one was for mortals, and together they earned the name Puerta de Hayu Marca, or “The Gate of the Gods,” which could supposedly only be opened through a special ritual and a key shaped like a golden disc, called “The Key of the Gods of the Seven Rays,” which was said to have fallen from the sky long ago.

This gateway was allegedly used to great effect in the 16th century, when Spanish explorers came through hunting for gold and other valuable treasure. According to the tale, one Incan priest named Amaru Maru decided that he was not going to let the gateway key fall into Spanish hands, so he retreated to the doorway, performed the required rites, and inserted the key to open it. There then supposedly appeared a brilliant tunnel of light, into which the priest disappeared off to the land of the gods, never to be seen again.

The Hayu Marca Gate of the Gods would later be forgotten for centuries, lost to the winds of time, and its eventual rediscovery would turn out to be almost as weird as the legends associated with it. In 1996, a tour guide named Jose Luis Delgado Mamani stumbled upon the remote, long-lost ruins completely by accident, although he would later claim that he had for years had strange dreams of a doorway full of blinding blue light and a shimmering tunnel somewhere out in the jungle. Jose would say of his discovery and these dreams:

When I saw the structure for the first time, I almost passed out. I have dreamed of such a construction repeatedly over the years, but in the dream the path to the door was paved with pink marble, and with pink marble statues lining either side of the path. In the dream, I also saw that the smaller door was open and there was a brilliant blue light coming from what looked like a shimmering tunnel. I have commented to my family many times about these dreams, and so when I finally gazed upon the doorway, it was like a revelation from God… How do you make order of such a strange occurrence?

Interestingly, examination of the structure itself would show that there is indeed an alcove in the rock about just the right size and shape to hold a disc-like object. Additionally, there have been those who have claimed to have experienced strange sensations when near the gateway, such as anomalous noises, including music and whispers, as well as hallucinations of stars and “columns of fire,” and there are claims that a certain energy can be felt reverberating through the rock when touched. Was this ancient site really some sort of magical portal? If so who made it and why? It is unknown.

Also in South America is the “Gate of the Sun,” located within the ancient ruins of the city of Tiahuanaco, in Bolivia, which was once the capital of a great empire stretching from Bolivia all the way into Peru and Chile. The city is steeped in ancient lore, with the original inhabitants believing that the Sun god, Viracocha, had chosen this location to create the human race, and it was said that he used this gate to travel from one dimension or world to the other. The gate itself is an arch hewn from a single massive block of stone, which has etched onto its surface various images of strange winged figures with curled up tails and wearing what appear to be helmets, as well as a carving of the sun god himself, complete with beams of light emanating from behind him as he dramatically wields two staves.

The gateway has been said to have perhaps opened between worlds, but that it was damaged in some unspecified catastrophe, and sure enough when it was discovered by outsiders in the 1800s it was found to be toppled over onto its side with a large crack in the top right portion. It is unknown how this happened, but it certainly seems in keeping with the legend that it was destroyed and rendered inoperable in some event. Since the true purpose of the mysterious stone archway and the source of this damage is unknown, is it possible that it was once some sort of stargate? Interestingly, The Gate of the Sun is thought to lie along the same “grid line” as the gate in Hayu Marca, and the two undeniably resemble each other somewhat. Were the two connected somehow or even fashioned by the same mysterious, inscrutable builders? We will probably never know.

In Sri Lanka there is a place nestled within the remote rocky wilderness and caves of Ranmasu Uyana, or “Gold Fish Park,” between the Thissa Wewa reservoir and the Isurumuniya Rock Temple, where there were found numerous strange symbols carved into stone on a grid measuring around 6 feet in diameter, and even more bizarrely four stone seats located directly in front of it. It has been speculated that the symbols represent some sort of code-key to open a gateway between worlds, or even an ancient star map of some sort, which is called the Sakwala Chakraya, or roughly “The rotating circle of the Universe,” more commonly referred to as “The Stargate of Sri Lanka.” There is very little known about the creators of this particular site or even exactly how old it is, leaving its ultimate role mysterious.

There is said to be an ancient stargate lost and hidden at the Euphrates River as well. According to researcher Elizabeth Vegh, who has written several books on ancient stargates, this portal is buried under the ruins and remains of the Mesopotamian city of Eridu, and which has remained utterly lost to us. This stargate is claimed to be connected to Sumerian gods and kings, which Vegh believes regularly used such portals to travel around the universe. She even claims that the lost stargate is mentioned in the Bible in Chapter 9 of the Book of Revelations, which says:

Then the fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to earth, and it was given the key to the pit of the abyss. The star opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke rose out of it like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the pit. And out of the smoke, locusts descended on the earth.

Vegh is convinced that this mention of the “Abyss” is referring to the stargate, which in this particular case seems to have led to someplace perhaps not very pleasant. Whether this passage is actually talking about portals or not, the idea of Sumerian stargates is somewhat supported by the occasional strange discoveries of depictions of Sumerian gods or kings using such devices, such as a seal with a god appearing on a stairway surrounded by what appears to be columns of water, and another that depicts the god Ninurta standing at a gateway ready to push a button while wearing what appears to be a modern wristwatch, of all things. Ancient Sumeria is often claimed to have had some of the most ancient of the supposed stargates, and were said to be portals used by entities from another world to travel between this planet and a mythical world called Niburu. It all sounds pretty far-fetched to be sure, but these ancient peoples certainly seemed to believe it. Is there anything to it at all?

Considering its role as an important ancient civilization, it is perhaps no surprise that Egypt should have its own alleged stargates. Perhaps the most well-known of these is the site called Abu Ghurab, located at the Abu Sir Pyramids and just about a 20-minute drive from the Great Pyramid of Giza. Commonly called “The Crow’s Nest,” Abu Ghurab is thought to have been built by the 5th Dynasty pharaoh Niussere in around 2400 B.C. as a temple to worship the god Ra. The site itself has deteriorated considerably over the centuries, to the point that it is now practically mostly rubble, but it is believed that it once stood around 15 feet high and likely imitated the sun temple at On, or Heliopolis.

Abu Ghurab

One curiosity of the highly sacred site is a massive platform fashioned from alabaster, which is formed into in the shape of the Khemetian symbol Hotep, which stands for “peace.” Although the exact purpose of this platform has been lost to history, according to one theory by a researcher of ancient Egypt named Abd’El Hakim Awyan, it was used to harness and channel certain vibrations and earth energies, to convey a kind of harmonic resonance, in order to create an enhanced sense of enlightenment and awareness of the universe. This supposedly allowed one to attune themselves to the universe and to directly communicate with sacred spirits of the universe called the Neters, which were beings said to have on occasion actually visited Earth, possibly through Abu Ghurab itself, essentially making it a stargate. Unfortunately, we will probably never know if this was true or based on any sort of reality, or if it is all pure legend.

A very bizarre alleged stargate of some sort is said to exist in the mountains of Southeastern Arizona. In 1956, treasure hunters Rob and Chuck Quinn came to the area on a mission to find gold and lost Spanish treasures, but would find something beyond their imagination instead. The two treasure hunters had already experienced quite a bit of bizarreness in the area in the form of mysterious floating lights at night, when they reportedly stumbled across a strange stone archway standing in the middle of nowhere, which measured 7 feet high and 5 feet wide and possessed columns of andesite 15 inches diameter. The archway was oddly standing amongst scattered and broken geodes, their contents glittering in the sunlight. As curious as this all was, they had treasure to find, so they simply made a note of the location and continued on their way.

When they later mentioned the archway to others, a local Indian guide known only as “John” knew what it was, and had quite a few tales to tell about it. He claimed that on occasion people who had ventured through the archway had vanished into thin air, and that stones thrown through it would often not emerge from the other side, as if it were some kind of portal to, well, no one knows. John had also heard tales of the doorway glowing or shimmering, and he even had had his own very weird experience there. He told them that he had once been trekking through the area and noticed that even though that day had been dark and cloudy the sky through the stone archway had appeared clear and blue, a phenomenon which he could not explain.

The Quinns decided to go back to the enigmatic site, and things would only get weirder from there. At first there was not much to see. They experimented with the archway by throwing rocks through it and even shoving their arms in, but nothing strange occurred at all and their skepticism of John’s fantastic tales grew. However, the following day as they rummaged about the site Roy and another team member witnessed the portal shimmering for several minutes like a heat mirage, and not long after this could feel a building pressure in their ears. This apparently lasted several minutes before dissipating. The effect could not be repeated, but a passing group of treasure hunters would tell them that the stone archway was indeed imbued with some sort of inexplicable force, claiming that as they had been camping there a rain of stones had pelted their camp from nowhere, and that the stones had been warm to the touch. It was an intriguing story, but nothing else strange happened at the site during their expedition, and they went away with more questions than answers.

The Quinns would not forget the anomalous stone doorway, and in 1973 Chuck ventured out to the site once again. As he hiked up the canyon, he claims that when he stopped for a rest he noticed that there was another canyon that had not been there before. Thinking this to be rather odd, he climbed back down and entered the canyon from a different direction, where he realized that in fact he was in the same canyon he had been in before, only he had somehow been transported 250 yards down the canyon he had hiked along, and to another slope that was facing south rather than west. It was a very jolting experience that convinced him that he had travelled through some sort of portal and teleported from one place to another. It is all a very bizarre tale, and one wonders how much truth any of it has, or what became of this mysterious ancient gateway.

Some tales are even more outlandish yet, such as is the case with an ancient Sumerian stargate that supposedly can be found in a massive ziggurat near Nasiriyah, a city about 370 km south-east of Baghdad, and which has sparked all manner of rumors and conspiracy theories. The stargate was allegedly discovered in the 1920s, and when word got out that it was there and actually worked many governments sent out expeditions to try and find it for their own purposes. Here is where conspiracy theories start to get fueled, with some claiming that the Anglo-Iraqi War of 1941 was started specifically as an excuse to gain control of the stargate. Of course Nazis come into play here, and they were said to have spent great resources and effort on finding the supposed stargate during World War II.

In later years, a persistent and bonkers conspiracy is that the United States actually launched the Iraq War of 2003 for the purpose of getting their hands on the stargate, which was at the time supposedly thought to have been moved to a cavern beneath one of Saddam Hussein’s palaces, where the dictator had learned to harness its power. America apparently got wind that Hussein had control of this powerful relic and moved in, thus starting the war. When Baghdad fell to American forces the area happened to fall smack in the middle of the highly guarded and fortified Green Zone, which the conspiracy states is no coincidence. There have been a few whistleblowers who allegedly have come out of the woodwork to confirm that The U.S. wanted access to this technology, including one Dan Burisch, who claims that he was part of a covert team that went into Iraq on a mission to find the portal. One researcher and advocate of this theory is a Dr. Michael Salla, who has said of America’s desire to possess the stargate and others like it thus:

Essentially more and more people are coming forward saying that they have been involved in these classified programs where these technologies are used quite regularly and that they are found all over the planet, Iraq is just one place they’re found. They are also located in places like Iran and Syria, which is why there is a push for America to go into Iran and intervene in the Syrian civil war. All this is very significant in what drives international conflict.

It is all a fairly off-the-wall theory that has nevertheless gained momentum and popularity amongst some conspiracy theorists and has been much debated and discussed. Alas, it is totally unknown if such an object was ever really found at Nasiriyah, or if it is real what it really did. There is no evidence at all of any sort of stargate in some basement in Saddam Hussein’s palace, and it all remains pure conspiracy and speculation. However, it would make a pretty cool movie.

Although it is impossible to know whether these ancient stargates worked or who built them, there have been theories. Perhaps the most popular is that these “gods” the ancients spoke of were in fact advanced extraterrestrials who used their technology to fashion these portals and travel through them. Another is that many of these sites seem to lie on convergences of ley lines, or natural veins of energy said to crisscross our planet, and that they somehow harnessed and exploit this energy to create some kind of wormhole or dimensional doorway. There is also the idea that at least some of these sites may have held a miniature black hole or some other vortex that could allow travel over space or even through time. There is no way to know, and it is of course likely that this is all just legend, myth, and speculation.

It certainly is an alluring idea to think that among the many mysteries of the ancients they found a way to do what is typically firmly in the realm of science fiction; to travel across great distances in the blink of an eye through portals and stargates. If they were ever real where did these gateways take them? What wonders did they see when they stepped through? Perhaps just as curious is who or what stepped through from the other side? The answers remain buried in the mists of time, but it certainly does stoke the fires of the imagination.

Here Is A List Of The Largest Monoliths Ever Created 

Massive monoliths quarried by man can be found all over the planet.

The most straightforward definition of a monolith? A monolith can be a large piece of rock that is intended or was used to build a structure or a monument, alone or together with other stones.

Ancient mankind has had the ability to quarry transport and place into position massive blocks of stone (monoliths) that weigh more than 100 tons.

A monolith can be a monument in itself (statue, monolithic stone).

Monolithic sacred stones are found from prehistoric times (menhirs) and in many civilizations, such as the Mayan civilization (steles representing the sovereigns or even the original “zoomorphs” of Quiriguá) and the Aztec civilization (the Coatlicue monolith, representing the goddess of death, or the decorated monolith of Tizoc that represents fifteen victories of this sovereign).

The stone spheres of Costa Rica are more than 500 monoliths that weight up to 16 tons. These spheres are associated with constellations and astronomical events. Researchers place them around 6,000 BC, and others say that they could date back as far as 12,000 BC.

The first buildings composed of monoliths are dolmens, which date back from the 5th millennium BC.

Officially speaking, the biggest stone ever moved by man is the granite pedestal of the Bronze Horseman, which was transported to St. Petersburg in 1770,. It is considered as the largest stone ever moved by man, having an estimated weight of about 1500 tons.

The largest monolith ever carved by man (if we are to ignore the megaliths of Gornaya Shoria in Russia) is the unfinished obelisk of Aswan, which has a weight of around 1200 tons. This massive obelisk never left the quarry, as the massive rock cracked before being separated from the bedrock.

The largest stone ever carved and moved by man is the massive stone of Baalbek, called Hadjar-el-Qoublé (the stone of the South), with dimensions of 21.50 × 4.80 × 4.20 m, the massive rock is believed to weigh between 900 and 1100 tons, according to fairly constant estimates. It left the quarry but remained planted at an angle, not far from the site of its extraction.

In this image you can see the side panel from one of the Colossi of Memnon, the last remaining structures from the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III, known as Kom el-Hetan.

Worthy of mention are also the colossi of Memnon. The two giant stone statues represent the pharaoh Amenhotep III, and located on the west bank of the Nile, opposite the Egyptian city of Luxor, near Medinet Habu and south of the great Tebanas necropolis. The Colossi of Memnon have a weight of 1300 tons each. (The statues itself have 750 tons while the pedestal each weighing 550 tons).

The monoliths of Gornaya Shoria are also considered some of the largest ever carved. However, there is a great debate among experts whether these monoliths are naturally occurring, or were carved by an unknown ancient civilization from Siberia. It is reported that the largest sections or blocks of stone have estimated weights between three and four thousand tons, which would make them larger than the megaliths at Baalbek, in Lebanon.

The Stone statues on Easter Island—the Moai—are also massive monoliths created by ancient man.

So far, experts have identified more than 900 Moai Statues sculpted by the ancient Rapa Nui scattered throughout the island.

Most of them were carved in tufa from the Rano Raraku volcanic cone, where more than 400 Moai remain in mixed phases of construction.

According to historical data, the entire development of the various construction techniques was developed on the island between 700 AD and 1600 AD. Everything indicates that the quarry was suddenly abandoned and half-carved statues were left in the rock.

The largest Moai statue is the Te Tokanga—the giant. This Moai is located at the main quarry of Rano Raraku and remains unfinished. With a weight of more than 270 tons, it remains a mystery as to how the ancient builders planned on moving it.

Such a feat is even unthinkable for modern technology. Island tradition holds that this Moai was destined for the Ahu Vinapu ceremonial center.

The ‘Menhir de Champ-Dolent’ is the tallest of Brittany’s standing stones. Its height above ground is between 9.3 and 9.5 meters, and is made of pinkish granite. This massive standing stone has an estimated weight of around 100 tons.

Lost ‘UFO’ crash mystery solved after 60 years as 'Silpho saucer' found

THE REMAINS of a “miniature UFO” thought to have crash landed in England 60 years ago have been rediscovered – in a cigarette tin. The fragments of the “Silpho saucer” had been left in a storeroom at London’s Science Museum and forgotten about.

Britain’s Men in Black were apparently so concerned by its appearance in Yorkshire in the 1950s they sent it to London to be studied secretly by experts.

It was found by three men in November 1957 on Silpho Moor, near Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

The 17-inch wide metal saucer, weighing 33lb, had hieroglyphics on its base similar to those supposedly observed at the Roswell UFO crash site in America’s New Mexico.

They cut it open and found a tiny book made of 17 copper sheets which carried a 2,000-word message.

One “translation” claimed it was sent by an alien called Ullo to warn Earth about the danger posed by its nuclear weapons with the chilling message: “You will improve or disappear.”

He said: “One of the museum staff tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I was aware that ‘bits of a flying saucer’ had been kept in a cigarette tin for decades.

Papers revealed the Silpho saucer pieces were sent to London for secret examination by meteorite expert Gordon Claringbull, at the Natural History Museum in 1963.

Sceptics claimed the “saucer” was made from a domestic hot water cylinder and planted on the moor as an elaborate hoax.

But tests carried out at Manchester University revealed that the object’s shell was radiation-proofed with lead and the copper parts were of unusually high purity.

Last Tuesday (February 6, 2018), SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy successfully lifted off from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Falcon Heavy is now the world’s most powerful operational rocket by a factor of two, providing a heavy-lift capability not seen since the Apollo era in the late 1960s and early ’70s, when mighty Saturn V rockets lifted astronauts to the moon. Falcon Heavy’s launch last Tuesday was a test flight, its maiden voyage, meant to prove the concept of the rocket itself (which is in essence three of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rockets joined together). It definitely did! But SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk, as always, went further. He and his team placed Musk’s 2008 Tesla Roadster at the top of the rocket, with the goal of blasting it into an elliptical orbit between Earth and Mars. The orbit would, at times, bring the car – with its passenger, a mannequin nicknamed Starman, dressed for space – near Mars.

The Falcon Heavy rocket test was a major success and a thrill for space fans. After livestreaming views from StarMan’s vantage point in Earth orbit (see video above), SpaceX reignited the upper stage’s engine one last time, giving the Tesla a push beyond Earth’s orbit.

So … was the car bound for Mars?

A camera mounted ahead caught this image of Starman, in Elon Musk’s red Tesla Roadster, as car and mannequin left Earth behind. Calculations by astronomers in the days after the launch suggest the payload reached a speed of 20.8 miles per second (33.5 km/sec) after the last burn, a faster speed than expected.

As Musk said in the tweet above, the burn did indeed push the car and its passenger farther than expected. But was it really now headed for the asteroid belt? In a great article in The Atlantic on February 8, Marina Koren brings together information from astronomers, who were also talking on Twitter on launch day, following Musk and checking his facts.

CfA astronomer Jonathan McDowell (@planet4589 on Twitter), also an inveterate tweeter (like Musk), was one of those trying to calculate the Roadster’s correct orbit. He tweeted on Wednesday:

Elon is still talking about the Starman going to the asteroid belt. But I’m not convinced yet …

As reported by Koren, the astronomers also used independent observations made by Rob McNaught, an Australian asteroid observer, which were posted online. Koren wrote:

Late Wednesday night, their suspicions were confirmed. Revised orbital data provided by SpaceX and shared with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s system for tracking solar-system bodies showed the original graphic was incorrect.

So, based on the corrected numbers, the car actually won’t make it as far as the asteroid belt, as Musk claimed in his tweet.

According to the revised data … it will take the Tesla about 18.8 months to complete one trip around the sun. This means that the car will reach its farthest distance from Earth in about half that time. The Tesla will cross the orbit of Mars twice per orbit, so Musk is still fulfilling his wish to send his Tesla ‘to’ Mars — it’ll just take a little longer between visits.

Granted, crossing Mars’ orbit is not the same thing as going “to” Mars, but it’s still pretty cool. What’s more, the Tesla won’t take that long to cross Mars’ orbit. Click into Jonathan McDowell’s tweet, below, and read some of the comments, for a good discussion.

In the meantime, astronomers on Earth, of course, were seeking out the Tesla Roadster with their telescopes, in the days after it left Earth behind. Gianluca Masi of the Virtual Telescope Project in Rome emailed the image below to EarthSky, saying:

Now, before you go, check out the video below. It’s an animation of where Musk’s car was supposed to go – how it was all supposed to work, and, for the most part, did work – on launch day. My four-year-old grandson and I watched it multiple times last week, and he was mightily impressed.

Bottom line: At last week’s awesome Falcon Heavy launch, Elon Musk’s red Tesla Roadster was meant to go into an orbit that would take it past Mars. At the last minute, Musk said the car overshot and was going to the asteroid belt. Where’s it really going?

Bovendien maakt het duidelijk wat het uiteindelijke doel is, dat we daar niet gek ver meer vanaf zitten en dat als dit doel wordt verwezenlijkt het er voor de meeste mensen niet echt rooskleurig uitziet.

Het onderzoek van prof. Dr. David Michael Jacobs

Zijn boek; “The Treath” 1988 ISBN 90-246-0485-0

David Jacobs begon zijn studie aan de historische faculteit van Wisconsin. Doceerde in de eerste plaats geschiedenis en met als specialisatie het Amerika van de 20e eeuw. Hij begon aan de studie van ufo's en haalde zijn doctoraal onder supervisie van Paul Conkin. Zijn dissertatie behandelde de controverse over ufo's in Amerika vanuit het perspectief van de intellectuele, sociale en militaire geschiedenis. Hij bracht voor zijn onderzoek vele weken door op de luchtmachtbasis Maxwell en in de Lybrary of Congress om officiële stukken over ufo's door te nemen. Hij reisde het land door om de belangrijkste civiele en militaire ufo-onderzoekers te ondervragen. In 1975 publiceerde de Indiana university press een uitgebreide versie van zijn dissertatie als “The UFO Controversy”.

In 1992 publiceerde hij het eerste deel van zijn onderzoeksresultaten in Secret life: Firsthand Accounts of UFO Abductions. Daarin schetste hij de structuur van de karakteristieke ontvoering en de verscheidenheid van psychische processen waaraan de slachtoffers werden blootgesteld. Ook gaf hij een overzicht van talloze tot dan toe onbekende fysieke behandelingen en voortplantings-procedures, en was in staat een typisch ontvoeringsgeval van begin tot eind van minuut tot minuut te reconstrueren. Vanuit zijn onderzoek kon hij een aanvulling geven op de onderzoeken van Hopkins en zijn uitkomsten over de voortplantingsprocedures van de aliens, zoals het oogsten van eicellen en het wegnemen van foetussen. Ze hadden allebei ontdekt dat de buiten-Aardse wezens en slachtoffers betrokken werden bij lichamelijke interactie met vreemde baby's en peuters, die volgens de meeste ontvoerden deden denken aan een combinatie van Mensen en aliens: hybriden of kruisingen.

Het ufo onderzoek wierp ook nog talloze andere vragen op. Zo meldde de ontvoeringsonderzoeker Karla Turner in 1993 dat sommige ontvoerings-slachtoffers beweerden dat het Amerikaanse leger de aliens assisteerde bij de ontvoeringen.

In 1994 sprak professor John Mack van de universiteit van Harvard over de klaarblijkelijke interesse van de aliens in het milieu van de Aarde. Steeds meer slachtoffers vertelden dat volwassen hybriden bij hun ontvoeringen betrokken waren. Budd Hopkins ontdekte dat de buiten-Aardse wezens jonge ontvoerings-slachtoffers aan elkaar koppelden voor een langdurige relatie.

Om de zaak nog ingewikkelder te maken bleek dat veel slachtoffers, hoe traumatisch het verschijnsel voor de meesten ook was, toch een spirituele verlichting en een verruiming van hun bewustzijn ondergingen.

Het zijn de ontvoerden zelf die het antwoord hebben op onze vragen over de bedoelingen van de buiten-Aardse wezens. Ze hebben echter geleerd hun mond te houden.

De kern van hun activiteiten is een voortplantingsprogramma, waarbij de wezens Menselijk sperma en eicellen verzamelen en foetussen bij vrouwen implanteren om hybriden, kruisingen tussen aliens en Mensen, voort te brengen. Bovendien laten ze de hybriden fysiek en psychisch met ontvoerde Mensen in contact komen om hun ontwikkeling te bevorderen.

Een belangrijk onderdeel van het voortplantingsprogramma is het veroorzaken en instandhouden van buiten baarmoederlijke zwangerschappen. Pas na jaren van onderzoek en honderden rapporten over ontvoeringen kreeg hij enig inzicht in deze procedure en de redenen daarvoor.

Bescherming van de zwangerschappen
De aliens voorkomen abortus of het ontdekken van de zwangerschappen door de bewijzen op tijd weg te halen voordat het slachtoffer tot actie kan overgaan. Zij doen dat door het lezen van de gedachte van de vrouw. De aliens blijken bijvoorbeeld geïnteresseerd te zijn in alles wat nieuw is aan het lichaam van een ontvoerde vrouw: een litteken, een kneuzing, een verandering in haarkleur, een tatoeage enzovoort. Ze onderzoeken het veranderde gebied zorgvuldig en vragen de persoon wat het betekent en hoe het is gebeurd.

Als ze voortdurend iemands gedachten uitlezen, zouden ze die antwoorden waarschijnlijk al weten. Kennelijk gebeurt dat niet en luisteren dus selectief. Dit luisteren gebeurt waarschijnlijk ook via implantaten. De meeste ontvoerings-slachtoffers vertellen al jaren dat ze implantaten hebben die diep in de neusholte zijn aangebracht, mogelijk ter hoogte van de oogzenuw of de hypofyse, in het oor of in een voorhoofdholte. De ontvoerde personen met implantaten hebben er vaak hun leven lang last van en klagen over bloedneuzen, verstopte voorhoofdholten, een verminderd gehoor, oorsuizingen en oorbloedingen. Artsen hebben ook vreemd littekenweefsel en gaatjes ontdekt in de neusholte van proefpersonen. Implantaten kunnen ook worden ingebracht in de benen, de armen of de hals.

Het ontvoeringsvoorval van Reshma Kamal is een goed voorbeeld. Tijdens een ontvoering vroeg een vrouwelijke alien haar een baby vast te houden, maar zij weigerde en vroeg waarom dat nodig was. De alien pakt de baby en laat Reshma zien hoe dat moet. Ze vraagt Reshma opnieuw maar die weigert. Ze legt de baby weer terug. Reshma vraagt wat ze met de baby's doen en waar ze vandaan komen. De alien zegt dat ze zich geen zorgen daarover hoeft te maken maar dat de baby's moeten worden vastgehouden omdat ze anders niet goed groeien. Wat dat ook mag betekenen. Reshma zegt tegen de alien dat ze niet bang hoeft te zijn dat ze niet goed groeien, want ze zijn nu al niet goed. De alien vindt haar houding niet prettig. De alien zegt dat als ze het begrijpt ze zich beter zal gedragen. Reshma weet dat ze haar proberen te dwingen om mee te werken, maar ze denkt dat als ze maar lastig blijft doen de aliens meer informatie zullen geven. De alien vertelt haar dat ze die baby's nodig hebben.

De baby's moeten haar emoties en gevoelens leren. Dat kunnen de alien's de baby's niet bijbrengen. Zij kunnen de baby's alleen voeren en kleden zodat ze lichamelijk gezond opgroeien, maar ze kunnen ze niet helpen bij hun emotionele ontwikkeling. De alien zegt dat er grote behoefte is aan die baby's. Ze zegt dat die baby's niet helemaal hetzelfde zijn als zij, of als Mensen. Maar ze moeten wel emoties hebben. Ze lijkt een beetje haar best te doen omdat Reshma niet meewerkt. Die staat maar met haar armen over elkaar en zegt dat ze niks wil.

De alien neemt Reshma mee naar een incubatorium, een ruimte waar honderden reageerbuizen met foetussen staan. Ze wacht om de reactie van Reshma te zien. Die vraagt waarom ze dat doen en of de baby's zo kunnen overleven en dat ze ook zoiets graag zou hebben, dan hoeft ze geen pijn meer te leiden bij een bevalling. “Als jullie dat ook deden”, zegt de alien, “dan zouden die baby's geen emoties hebben, net als hun baby's en daarom hebben ze hulp nodig. Deze baby's kunnen lichamelijk wel groeien maar emotioneel zijn ze dood.” Dat moeten wij dus doen, wij Mensen, de baby’s vertroetelen.

De alien zegt even helemaal niks. Alsof ze niet kan geloven dat Reshma nog meer wil weten. Dan zegt ze dat deze baby's niet precies zo kunnen functioneren als zij, in hun samenleving, maar ook niet precies als wij, in onze samenleving. Dus moeten we samenwerken zegt ze, om die baby's niet verloren te laten gaan. Ze kunnen de baby's niet zonder hulp verzorgen vanwege de manier waarop ze functioneren. Maar ze kunnen ze niet aan Mensen geven omdat ze niet zijn zoals Mensen. Maar ze hebben iets nodig van hen en van ons, zegt de alien.

Redenen voor geheimhouding

Redenen van geheimhouding is het eigenbelang van de aliens, het weghalen van eicellen en gebruiken voor genetische doelstellingen. Halen alleen weg wat ze nodig hebben beweren ze. Kinderen van slachtoffers worden ook weer ontvoerd. (Generaties worden gevolgd).

Project hybriden

De hybriden die van jongs af aan verbonden worden met het ontvoerings-slachtoffer.

Onafhankelijke hybriden activiteit

Dit is een logisch uitvloeisel van het ontvoeringsverschijnsel en het voortplantingsprogramma, en heeft grote gevolgen voor de toekomstige contacten tussen Mensen en aliens. Het gaat om hybriden die gedurende kortere of langere tijd onopgemerkt tussen de Mensen kunnen leven en zich zelfstandig kunnen redden, verlost van de aanwezigheid en de controle van de grijze aliens.

Eindfase hybriden proberen voor Mensen door te gaan, maar binnen bepaalde grenzen. Aan boord van een ufo zijn mannelijke hybriden gemakkelijk te herkennen aan een neutrale beige of witte kleding. Maar in het openbaar kleden ze zich als Mensen zodat ze in de massa niet opvallen. Ze kunnen zich ook in militaire stijl kleden, bijvoorbeeld in een soort vliegeniersoverall uit één stuk. Omdat ze zo sterk op Mensen lijken kunnen ze gemakkelijk doorgaan voor Amerikaanse militairen en in de verhalen van veel ontvoerden komt dan ook militair personeel voor. In de loop van de jaren hebben ontvoeringsslachtoffers regelmatig verteld dat mannen in uniform, soms ook in militaire omgeving, aanwezig waren bij ontvoeringen.

Hybriden kunnen zich ook als militairen kleden. Kleding in militaire stijl. De hybriden in uniform brengen ontvoerde Mensen soms naar verlaten militaire terreinen die niet in gebruik zijn. Volgens sommige beschrijvingen kunnen hybriden ongeveer 12 uur lang zich in de samenleving mengen.

Independent Hybrid authority (IHA). Het gaat hier over zwarte helikopters zonder identificatie. Sommige van die helikopters maken deel uit van de IHA. De helikopters hebben geen staartconstructie, geen grote bladen, zijn eerder rond dan buisvormig en maken geen enkel geluid. Het betreft dan een scherm- herinnering aan een ufo. De ontvoerden zet zijn traumatische ervaringen om in een aanvaardbaar verhaal.

De aliens verwijzen voortdurend naar de toekomst. Die zal beter worden, zeggen ze, voor Mensen en voor aliens. Als ze vrouwelijke ontvoerden zwanger maken, zeggen ze dat die vrouwen de toekomst in zich dragen. Ze spreken over de kinderen van de toekomst. Ze hebben het over de verandering die gaat komen. Een moeilijke maar onvermijdelijke verandering. Het is duidelijk dat het ontvoeringsverschijnsel een proces is. Dat proces duurt al de hele 20e eeuw. In tegenstelling tot de positieven met hun optimistische verwachtingen is David M Jacobs niet vrolijk gestemd. Hoe meer gegevens er over het ontvoerings-verschijnsel bekend worden hoe onheilspellender het beeld wordt. Als het einde komt, en het zal komen, wat zou er dan met de Mensheid gebeuren? De aliens zijn naar de Aarde gekomen met een bijzonder efficiënt programma voor de fysiologische exploitatie van de Mens. Hun voortplantings- en hybriden programma's hebben greep op de wereld gekregen en op het leven van de ontvoeringsslachtoffers. De aliens beweren tegen de ontvoerden dat deze procedures nodig zijn om de toekomst te redden.

Een raadselachtig aspect van het ontvoeringsverschijnsel is het milieu-bewustzijn van de aliens en de hybriden. Ze zeggen dat vervuiling en andere problemen het milieu vernietigen en dat de Mensheid de Aarde een slechte dienst heeft bewezen. Het is opvallend dat de aliens bijna nooit iets zeggen over hoe we het milieu moeten verbeteren. Ze beperken zich tot klagen over de vervuiling.

Tijdens een ontvoering laten ze iets zien over de toekomst aan Lucy Sanders.

“Ze laten me een scherm zien en zeggen iets over de toekomst. Ik zie een boom exploderen. Ik zie een barst in de wereld. Er komt lava uit. Ik kijk ernaar van boven de Aarde - het is een grote scheur in de wereld. De Aarde is gedraaid en er is een barst ontstaan. Overal zwarte wolken en een hevige wind. Doden op de grond. Ik zie overal lijken liggen. Dit kan niet gebeuren. Dit mag niet gebeuren.” Dit zal ook niet gebeuren.... Alleen jullie kunnen hier iets tegen doen. Jullie moeten het tegenhouden. Het komt er aan. Wij komen er aan. Jullie moeten het tegenhouden. Jullie moeten de vernietiging voorkomen. Jullie heil is ons heil.

Pam Martin kreeg te horen dat het programma van de aliens uit drie fasen bestond. Geleidelijk, versneld en abrupt. De aliens gaven aan dat ze nu in de versnelde fase waren en Pam had het gevoel dat dit alles heel wat sneller zal gebeuren dan de Mensen denken.

Een alien vertelde Jason Howard dat het zich omstreeks 1999 zal voltrekken. De aliens zijn meestal vrij vaag over data, maar de meesten laten doorschemeren dat de verandering spoedig, heel spoedig zal komen, zoals ze Claudia Negrón in 1997 vertelden toen ze het hun rechtstreeks vroeg. Alles wijst erop dat ze het doen op een tijdsbestek tussen vijf jaar vanaf 1997 in de komende twee generaties. Het is verontrustend dat de aliens en de hybriden vooral geïnteresseerd lijken in de Aarde, niet in de Mens. Ze zeggen nooit iets over het behoud van het leven of het belang van de Mensheid of de Menselijke instellingen. Ze beweren dat ze een betere wereld willen scheppen, maar ze spreken nooit over een partnerschap met de Mensheid, over vreedzame samenleving of gelijkheid.

De plannen van de aliens
Alles wijst erop dat integratie in de Menselijke samenleving het uiteindelijke doel van de aliens is. Al hun inspanningen en activiteiten lijken er opgericht de volledige controle te krijgen over de Mensheid op Aarde. De ontvoerings-slachtoffers leven al met de last van het bezoek van en de manipulatie door aliens.

Inmiddels kunnen we minstens vier specifieke programma's onderscheiden die de aliens in werking hebben gesteld om hun doel te bereiken.

Ten eerste: het ontvoeringsprogramma. De aliens hebben in eerste instantie overal ter wereld Menselijke slachtoffers geselecteerd en zijn procedures begonnen om hen en hun kinderen onopgemerkt uit hun omgeving weg te halen.

Ten tweede: het voortplantingsprogramma. De aliens verzamelen Menselijk sperma en Menselijke eicellen, passen genetische ingrepen op de bevruchte embryo’s toe, implanteren de foetussen in Menselijke draagmoeders en laten ontvoeringsslachtoffers met de nakomelingen omgaan, zodat de hybriden zich op de juiste wijze kunnen ontwikkelen.

Ten derde: het hybriden programma. De aliens verfijnen de hybriden door voortdurende aanpassingen en kruisingen met Mensen, in de loop van de generaties, zodat de hybriden steeds Menselijker worden zonder hun belangrijke buiten-Aardse kenmerken te verliezen. Mogelijk worden ook Mensen in de loop van de tijd aangepast en van buiten-Aardse eigenschappen voorzien.

Ten vierde: het integratieprogramma. De aliens bereiden de ontvoerings-slachtoffers voor op toekomstige gebeurtenissen. Uiteindelijk zullen de hybriden of de aliens zelf in de Menselijke samenleving integreren en de macht overnemen.

De aliens hebben laten doorschemeren dat het moment waarop hun programma's zijn voltooid en ze hun doel hebben bereikt niet ver meer is. Veel ontvoerden hebben het gevoel dat er nu snel iets gaat gebeuren en dat de aliens hun doel onder handbereik hebben.

Om hun plannen te bevestigen zeggen de aliens niet wat de meeste ontvoerden en onderzoekers graag van hen zouden horen: dat ze spoedig zullen verdwijnen. Dat hun programma voltooid zal zijn. Bedankt voor jullie hulp als we vertrokken zijn zal niemand zeker weten dat ze hier ooit waren. Dat wordt nooit gezegd. De toekomst voor de aliens en de hybriden is altijd een toekomst op Aarde, waar ze met de meeste Mensen zullen integreren. Een andere keuze geven ze niet.

Het toekomstbeeld van de aliens heeft trouwens nóg een verontrustend aspect.

 Als je over Mensen spreken, praten ze uitsluitend over ontvoerden. De toekomst van en met de niet ontvoerden is zelden onderwerp van gesprek. Ze vertelden Reshma Kamal dat niet ontvoerden als een kleine voortplantingspool als relatie in stand zal worden gehouden voor het geval het hybriden programma op onvoorziene problemen zal stuiten.

Allisons Reed krijgt de indruk dat de niet ontvoerden overbodig zijn. Alles wijst erop dat er in de toekomst voornamelijk plaats zal zijn voor aliens, hybriden en ontvoerden. De niet ontvoerden spelen een ondergeschikte of geen enkele rol volgens de Nieuwe Orde. De insectachtige aliens aan de top, gevolgd door de andere aliens, de hybriden, de ontvoerden en tenslotte de niet ontvoerden.

De geheimzinnigheid rond de ontvoering lijkt aan te tonen dat de aliens grote moeite doen om ontdekking te voorkomen. Ontdekt worden zou dus hun kwetsbare punt kunnen zijn. Als dat zo is, hebben we misschien nog een kans om in te grijpen. Tot nu toe zijn alle pogingen om tussenbeide te komen op niets uitgelopen. Experimenten om ontvoeringen te verhinderen met behulp van video en andere elektronische apparatuur zijn grotendeels zinloos gebleken, hoewel de herhaling van het verschijnsel soms wat minder werd. Bovendien meldden ontvoeringsslachtoffers de laatste jaren een duidelijke toename in frequentie van de ontvoeringen. Misschien is dat een gevolg van het groeiende maatschappelijke bewustzijn van het verschijnsel.

Once again mystery booms have been reported and it seems as the booms are increasing in numbers and intensity, still the phenomenon remains unexplained.

Colorado: January 18 - Residents in North Routt County, Colorado are still trying to figure out what caused some homes and a fire station to rattle from the Clark area all the way to the shores of Steamboat Lake on Thursday morning.

Arkansas: January 20, 2018 - Hundreds of reports of a loud “boom” were sent to the Commercial via social media. A few minutes later, residents in the Magnolia area, some 108 miles southwest of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, reported similar sounds, which some residents south of Pine Bluff reported shook their homes.

Pennsylvania: January 21, 2018 - Wyomissing police investigates an “extremely loud boom” that shook homes, rattling roofs and walls in Pennsylvania.

Na Danu district, Thailand: February 8, 2018 - Two mysterious booms rattled 61 residents in Na Danu district on February 8. The mystery deflagrations were so powerful they produced cracks in the walls, windows and doors of buildings, terrifying people working inside.

Putnam and northern Westchester counties: February 8, 2018 - Many residents of Putnam and northern Westchester counties woke up with a loud bang possible produced by a minor 2.2M quake that hit three miles northwest of Mohegan Lake in Yorktown, Putnam Valley. The tremor sounded like very loud thunder, houses, doors and windows rumbled.

Wheat Ridge: February 8, 2018 - Once again mysterious booms and this time it happened in Wheat Ridge on February 8, 2018.

Many people posted on social media about loud booms or “explosions” being heard in the City, bordering Wadsworth east to Sheridan, and from W. 26th to W. 38th Ave.

There are reports are of a single loud boom that shook homes and apartment complexes and set off car and business alarms. Some callers said they saw a flash of light

While Wheat Ridge police have received some reports of loud noises, they do not have any reports of property damage or injury, and the locations of these incidents vary across a large area of our city.

The police are baffled as to what could be causing the booms. They say they have not gathered enough evidence to locate a source.

UFO Seen In The Sky During A Super Bowl Game

The New England Patriots were set to go against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl LII, and all eyes of the sporting world were on the U.S. Bank Stadium, Minneapolis, Minnesota. However, sky watchers extended their interest beyond planet Earth as they observed a UFO buzzing in the sky.

On the Super Bowl, dozens of witnesses saw a huge UFO.

An unnamed witness was driving on I-94 around 3:30 pm. They noticed a bunch of cars pulled over to the side of the road. People got out of their vehicles and stood outside. They were shaking up and trembling as they were typing their report.

They could not tell if it was a real aircraft or if it was just a movie, but they were sure it was not an aeroplane. According to their report, it was a diamond-shaped with dark, dull grey colour. The object in question reportedly did make a noise that was difficult to describe.

Today’s Super Bowl saw the Philadelphia Eagles upset the National Football League’s (NFL) defending champion New England Patriots at the score of 41-33 in a grudge match on Sunday to capture their maiden Super Bowl title.

Caught On Video – Deafening Sonic Boom Sound Takes Place In Area 51

An extraordinary sound was captured on camera near the secretive Area 51 base. An amateur radio operator set up a transmitter near the facility to capture any suspicious activity. Then something big passes above him and makes a loud sonic boom sound.

He then looks around, appears confused of the origin of the sound. However, no aircraft is in sight.

The man then ran to his radio transmitter to check if he can hear anything and know where the sound is coming from.

However, the signal appears to scramble and a series of unusual noises spurt through the speaker, before the video cuts.

The bizarre clip was recorded in May 2017 but only recently has been shared online.

The footage sparks concerns if the American government is hiding something.

One of the thousands of viewers says that it is probably a good idea the guy is doing something like it and adds that it is the job of the people to keep an eye on the government they pay.

Others are wondering where the loud noise is coming as there’s no way to see its origin.

One viewer shows concern on the man’s safety as he is messing with people who can make him disappear.

Luis Elizondo used to run the top-secret Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), which investigated flying saucers.

This groundbreaking programme, which had a budget of £16.5million allocated to it annually by the Department of Defence, was run from the fifth floor of Pentagon’s C RING in Washington DC.

Former Nevada Democrat Senator Harry Reid pushed for its creation in 2007, with analysis conducted by Bigelow Aerospace of Nevada.

Stunned US navy pilots observed a “whole fleet” of UFOs that were “going against” a 120 knots wind – in one AATIP case from 2015.

REVEALED: Former Pentagon intelligence official Luis Elizondo has investigated UFO reports

Advanced sensors revealed the unknown object had no propulsion system and slowed to a near stop before rotating, it is claimed.

Now Elizondo has lifted the lid on what he claims has been learned through the Pentagon program about the seemingly out-of-this-world capabilities of UFOs.

He said: “I think we've come very close to understanding the physics of how it works, and that's very exciting.

"For the first time, we have a compelling picture that what we are seeing is explained in our current understanding of physics, advanced physics, and quantum mechanics.”

Incredible footage emerged last year of a sighting involving the battleship USS Nimitz in 2004 in the Pacific off the San Diego coast.

Two US navy pilots, Commander David Fravor and Lieutenant Commander Jim Slaight, watched in amazement as an object appeared suddenly at 80,000 feet before hurtling towards the sea and stopping at 20,000 ft.

When they approached for a closer look, the 40ft long object “accelerated like nothing I’ve ever seen”, said Cdr Fravor.

And now Elizondo believes that they may have an explanation for how UFOs achieve such extreme speeds.

"We do believe all these observables we've been seeing, sudden and extreme acceleration, hypersonic velocities, low observability, trans medium travel, and last but not least, positive lift, anti-gravity – is really the manifestation of a single technology," Elizondo said.

"So it's not five exotic technologies we're trying to figure out, it's one. and we think we know that one too.”

Scientists employed by Bigelow Aerospace including a physicist named Dr Hal Puthoff came to the conclusion that the craft can effectively create their own time-space bubble, which allows them to fly at such incredible speeds.

"We believe it has to do with a high amount of energy and the ability to warp space-time, not by a lot, but by a little," said Elizondo.

While the US government said AATIP was closed in 2012, Elizondo claimed he worked on the highly-sensitive project until October last year until he resigned over “excessive secrecy and internal opposition”.

He believes the existence of extraterrestrials would be “beyond reasonable doubt” if it was ever discussed in court.

Dr Michio Kaku – America’s answer to Stephen Hawking – said the bizarre object US military personnel reported seeing pursuing some of their warplanes could be a new type of super-fast aircraft.

The space boffin said: “Are UFOs chasing our jet fighters, as recent secret documents suggest?

“Maybe they are experimental hypersonic drones. Or maybe aliens from outer space? I keep an open mind.”

"The asteroid orbit plot was just a mistake," Jonathan McDowell, an astronomer at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, told Space.com.

McDowell explained that the error apparently arose when someone at SpaceX used an orbital parameter called C3 — a measure of the velocity needed to escape Earth's gravity — to determine the shape of the Roadster's orbit "and goofed while doing it."

"For selling the rocket to customers, C3 is what you care about, [and] the actual orbit around the sun is not relevant," McDowell said, "so they weren't careful about calculating it."

McDowell calculated that the Roadster will venture by Mars at a safe distance of about 70 million miles (110 million kilometers) as it crosses the planet's orbit in July.

The closest it will ever get to Mars will be in October of 2020 at a distance of about 4.4 million miles (7 million km), which is still "well outside Mars' gravitational sphere of influence," McDowell wrote on Twitter. This means that the Roadster definitely won't be orbiting Mars as Musk first announced it would in a tweet last December.

Even with the new, corrected trajectory, these numbers and time frames are not set in stone. NASA's ephemeris calculator for the Roadster states, "Over time, prediction errors could increase more rapidly than the formal statistics indicate due to unmodeled solar pressure, thermal re-radiation, or outgassing accelerations that are not currently characterized."

McDowell said that these factors could affect the Roadster's predicted encounters "by at least 10 percent in distance and several weeks in date."

NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory has made the Roadster data publicly accessible, and you can find it at ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/horizons.cgi (select "target body" -143205).

California earthquakes are a geologic inevitability. The state straddles the North American and Pacific tectonic plates and is crisscrossed by the San Andreas and other active fault systems. The magnitude 7.9 earthquake that struck off Alaska’s Kodiak Island on Jan. 23, 2018, was just the latest reminder of major seismic activity along the Pacific Rim.

Tragic quakes that occurred in 2017 near the Iran-Iraq border and in central Mexico, with magnitudes of 7.3 and 7.1, respectively, are well within the range of earthquake sizes that have a high likelihood of occurring in highly populated parts of California during the next few decades.

The earthquake situation in California is actually more dire than people who aren’t seismologists like myself may realize. Although many Californians can recount experiencing an earthquake, most have never personally experienced a strong one. For major events, with magnitudes of 7 or greater, California is actually in an earthquake drought. Multiple segments of the expansive San Andreas Fault system are now sufficiently stressed to produce large and damaging events.

The good news is that earthquake readiness is part of the state’s culture, and earthquake science is advancing – including much improved simulations of large quake effects and development of an early warning system for the Pacific coast.

The last big one

California occupies a central place in the history of seismology. The April 18, 1906, San Francisco earthquake (magnitude 7.8) was pivotal to both earthquake hazard awareness and the development of earthquake science – including the fundamental insight that earthquakes arise from faults that abruptly rupture and slip. The San Andreas Fault slipped by as much as 20 feet (six meters) in this earthquake.

Although ground-shaking damage was severe in many places along the nearly 310-mile (500-kilometer) fault rupture, much of San Francisco was actually destroyed by the subsequent fire, due to the large number of ignition points and a breakdown in emergency services. That scenario continues to haunt earthquake response planners. Consider what might happen if a major earthquake were to strike Los Angeles during fire season.

Seismic science

When a major earthquake occurs anywhere on the planet, modern global seismographic networks and rapid response protocols now enable scientists, emergency responders and the public to assess it quickly – typically, within tens of minutes or less – including location, magnitude, ground motion and estimated casualties and property losses. And by studying the buildup of stresses along mapped faults, past earthquake history, and other data and modeling, we can forecast likelihoods and magnitudes of earthquakes over long time periods in California and elsewhere.

However, the interplay of stresses and faults in the Earth is dauntingly chaotic. And even with continuing advances in basic research and ever-improving data, laboratory and theoretical studies, there are no known reliable and universal precursory phenomena to suggest that the time, location and size of individual large earthquakes can be predicted.

Major earthquakes thus typically occur with no immediate warning whatsoever, and mitigating risks requires sustained readiness and resource commitments. This can pose serious challenges, since cities and nations may thrive for many decades or longer without experiencing major earthquakes.

California’s earthquake drought

The 1906 San Francisco earthquake was the last quake greater than magnitude 7 to occur on the San Andreas Fault system. The inexorable motions of plate tectonics mean that every year, strands of the fault system accumulate stresses that correspond to a seismic slip of millimeters to centimeters. Eventually, these stresses will be released suddenly in earthquakes.

But the central-southern stretch of the San Andreas Fault has not slipped since 1857, and the southernmost segment may not have ruptured since 1680. The highly urbanized Hayward Fault in the East Bay region has not generated a major earthquake since 1868.

Reflecting this deficit, the Uniform California Earthquake Rupture Forecast estimates that there is a 93 percent probability of a 7.0 or larger earthquake occurring in the Golden State region by 2045, with the highest probabilities occurring along the San Andreas Fault system.

California’s population has grown more than 20-fold since the 1906 earthquake and currently is close to 40 million. Many residents and all state emergency managers are widely engaged in earthquake readiness and planning. These preparations are among the most advanced in the world.

For the general public, preparations include participating in drills like the Great California Shakeout, held annually since 2008, and preparing for earthquakes and other natural hazards with home and car disaster kits and a family disaster plan.

No California earthquake since the 1933 Long Beach event (6.4) has killed more than 100 people. Quakes in 1971 (San Fernando, 6.7); 1989 (Loma Prieta; 6.9); 1994 (Northridge; 6.7); and 2014 (South Napa; 6.0) each caused more than US$1 billion in property damage, but fatalities in each event were, remarkably, dozens or less. Strong and proactive implementation of seismically informed building codes and other preparations and emergency planning in California saved scores of lives in these medium-sized earthquakes. Any of them could have been disastrous in less-prepared nations.

Nonetheless, California’s infrastructure, response planning and general preparedness will doubtlessly be tested when the inevitable and long-delayed “big ones” occur along the San Andreas Fault system. Ultimate damage and casualty levels are hard to project, and hinge on the severity of associated hazards such as landslides and fires.

Several nations and regions now have or are developing earthquake early warning systems, which use early detected ground motion near a quake’s origin to alert more distant populations before strong seismic shaking arrives. This permits rapid responses that can reduce infrastructure damage. Such systems provide warning times of up to tens of seconds in the most favorable circumstances, but the notice will likely be shorter than this for many California earthquakes.

Early warning systems are operational now in Japan, Taiwan, Mexico and Romania. Systems in California and the Pacific Northwest are presently under development with early versions in operation. Earthquake early warning is by no means a panacea for saving lives and property, but it represents a significant step toward improving earthquake safety and awareness along the West Coast.

Managing earthquake risk requires a resilient system of social awareness, education and communications, coupled with effective short- and long-term responses and implemented within an optimally safe built environment. As California prepares for large earthquakes after a hiatus of more than a century, the clock is ticking.

New Protocol For Evidence Gathering After An Alien Abduction

In all of UFOlogy, there is no situation more terrifying and misunderstood than the phenomena of alien abductions. Thousands of people around the world have reported terrifying and paradoxical accounts of kidnapping from beyond. These kidnappers bring their abductee’s home after the incident.  Which is nice it makes evidence gathering easier. A large portion of accounts portray the victims to be completely and utterly subdued during the incident.  Awareness but zero motor control is the norm. The silent kidnappers seem to have some kind of non-anthropomorphic plan us. In UFOlogy it is believed to be many different types of aliens responsible for all these abduction accounts. Nothing really is off the table. ETH, dimensional, pandimensional, time travellers, etc could be the culprits. Accounts and events vary wildly but the complete paralyzation of the victim is a common thread.

People report being taken away from their home to someplace that can only be described as alien. Some people remember the actual traversal from home to wonderland, some don’t. Some report invasive painful medical like procedures while others report more of a 1960’s style “Love-In” with all love and light aliens. Through all that others have the traumatic experience but no memory of it at all until regression therapy makes the revelation.

Through all the obfuscation and parallax reality, how can anything more than an anecdotal account ever come from alien abductions? Abductees cannot move their hands or feet how can they be expected to bring evidence back? Good thing that you don’t have to move anything to gather all the evidence humanity needs.

BACKGROUND

The concept of evidence should be no different in this case than in any other. If these abductions are real events and not totally internally generated hypnogogic imagery these abductees are bringing home evidence every single time they are violated. In the science of Forensics, there is truism called Locard’s exchange principle. This principle is the bedrock of modern forensics. It holds that the perpetrator of a crime will bring something into the crime scene and leave with something from it and that both can be used as forensic evidence. Locard speculated that every time you make contact with another person, place, or thing, it results in an exchange of physical materials. He is the grandfather of trace evidence.

Traces of physical materials no matter how minute can tell a story. Trace evidence is factual. Unlike humans, it cannot be confused by the excitement of the moment, does not forget, and never develops crippling debilitating dementia. It’s a silent witness that speaks when humans cannot. Physical evidence cannot be wrong, it cannot lie, it cannot be wholly absent. Only human failure to find it, study and understand it, can diminish its value. So far humanity has completely diminished the alien abduction phenomena by not developing the correct eyes to move from speculation to accepted hypothesis.

The Situation

Everytime that you encounter their environment you bring a little piece of it home, you can’t help it. If you were lying on an examination table you are bringing a tiny piece of it with you. Any instruments or biological entities touch you, you bring a little piece of them home. You may not think you do because you can’t see it, but it’s there.

Every time you are abducted and taken to another realm you bring home all the evidence humanity would ever need to prove the high strangeness is just plain old strange. Each of us carries around millions of microorganisms – including bacteria, fungi, and viruses — on the inner and outer surfaces of our bodies. Most of them aren’t dangerous. In fact, growing evidence indicates that they help us in lots of ways. Scientists call this collection of organisms our microbiome. Recent discoveries have shown that we constantly enveloped in a cloud of our microbiome. Think of pig-pen from the Peanuts comic strips. Each and every one of us have a constant cloud of microbes circling us.  It enters a room before you do and lingers after you leave.  It blends with all the people you encounter in your life and you blend with theirs.

Science has developed techniques to analyze this atmospheric microbiome. They have developed the ability to identify individual people only by their lingering microbiome. This cloud is suspected to be as individualized as fingerprints. Technology is in development that will be used in law enforcement to pull criminal offenders microbiome from a crime scene to aid in conviction. Just being there will now be as good as leaving a fully formed finger mark.

This collection of alien microbiomes is our BEST and ONLY method that has any chance of success of proving that the Genesis of life happened more than once in the universe. Us (Earth) and Them (?).

If we could collect alien skin flakes, vapour from breath or transpiration, dust from alien metallurgy, food particles, or really anything floating in the turbulent air currents of your abduction chamber. They brought something into the chamber, by proximity it mixed around and in you, and you brought some of it out.

Keep in mind these creatures that are doing this to you are NOT GODS. They are NOT absolute. Their advancements may seem like magic but it is not magic. Sufficiently advanced technology will appear as magic. Don’t be fooled. These kidnappers DO NOT know everything about you. They are not omnipotent. If they knew everything about you, you would not have been restrained to an examination table and examined.  The only true power you may have in this situation is your mind. But that is all you will need. Use your intellect against them. Be as aware as possible of your environment. They think you are inferior, show them just how inventive we really can be. Their own cells and molecules will give them away.

When an abductee enters the environment where they are examined or whatever you can assume several things. They would have to recreate the environment that is conducive to your survival requirements. They either had or had to create an environment that matched our temperature range, atmospheric pressure, gas composition, humidity, gravity, etc. If you can breathe during your ordeal you know you are gathering good evidence. This exposure will change your microbiome. You are coming in contact with a foreign environment. The most foreign possible.

You are in contact with their atmosphere all over your body and lungs. The aliens, table, or platform will leave evidence on your skin. The moving of you will leave evidence. Everything in this mutant wonderland will. Every movement of your abductors in your environment stirs the pot of microbes and atmosphere.  Even if you can’t feel air movement, it is moving and mixing everything in the environment. You have all you need without blinking an eye or moving a muscle. If you have any communication with them stall them. The longer you are in their artificially created environment the better.

Once you get back if you get back now the fun begins.

The evidence that will change the world in regards to extraterrestrials will never come from photography or videography. No image or video can possibly do it. The only thing that will satisfy the world of non-true believers is alien biological material or alien metallurgy.

Procedure

The ideal process to attain credible evidence should satiate both Edmond Locard and the microbial hunters.

The potential abductee will be required to get a baseline microbiome assay performed. This would be a totally noninvasive test. Just sampling the air closely around you. The researchers will need an unadulterated baseline for comparison later. The subject needs not do anything besides keep up good hygiene and act as bait for highly invasive, highly terrifying, highly strange abduction happy aliens.

Now we wait for all hell to break loose.

After an abduction, the abductee performs the microbial assay and submits both the control and test sample for comparison. The hope would be to over many trials and tests to discover statistical significant aberrations. Have enough samples to create a viable set, and lots of time to crunch the numbers and maybe, just maybe the “Holy Grail” an alien microorganism. Just a few alien skin cells or biological detritus would be a jackpot. One test can not prove anything, just be a curiosity. A thousand tests analyzed and correlated proper can prove the truth. Until this technology becomes viable we will have to stick with making Edmond Locard happy. Not to worry the law enforcement industry is driving this technology, it is only a matter of time until it is a reality.

Every abductee should have an abduction kit which they can use and send in for analysis. Looking for trace evidence is done in other fields of UFOlogy, why not in abductions. There is a lot of discussion about trace evidence but as far as I can see no concerted organized effort to gather microbial or trace evidence has ever been put forth.

What I propose is a collection service of a sort. A central clearinghouse for abduction test kits. A place to collect, analyze, digitize, and correlate the samples and data.

Essentially the abduction kits would contain:

• 2 – Microbial cloud collection bags. (when available)
• 1 – Surgical lint remover high-tack adhesive roller. This high-tack adhesive roller is sterile. It quickly and efficiently picks up and removes lint and other foreign particles from surgical packs, wrappers, and gowns to help control contamination in ultra clean surgical environments. Think of it as the surgeon’s lint brush. It is designed to be an attractant to synthetic and biological debris. This fits our requirements perfectly.

When you are in the midst of the abduction if you are not petrified and functioning only on your Id, try to remember where your body comes in contact with the environment. Physical contact with the floor, any equipment, or the aliens themselves. Just remember where the contact is made. This will help later. Not necessary but would be very useful.

Wherever you are when you come back from the abduction and regain control and consciousness the kit should be immediately administered.

Immediately perform a microbial cloud assay test of yourself. Return test sample to abduction collection kit.

With great care and consideration take the surgical lint brush and run it over in proper fashion over every inch of your skin and or clothes. Carefully run it over where ever you were found or regained control from the event. If you were in bed run the surgical lint brush over your spot. If it was in a car process the seat. After samples are taken seal it up with the microbial assay test and send to collection house for analysis.

The goal is to get a very large sample of abduction kits into the system. Only with a large sampling can any meaningful statistical correlations can be drawn. A hundred test collection kits would be good but a thousand would be much better.

The surgical lint brushes would be analyzed, high-resolution scans made, detailed descriptions of particulates found and entered into a central database. Original samples preserved for further analysis if needed.

Here is a possible best case scenario.

A statistically significant amount of samples has been found to have a common foreign particulate present.  It was never noticed by victims or investigators up to this point because it only becomes easily visible under a specific polarized light frequency. Further and deeper examination show that all the foreign particles have the same geometric shape. Something like a Tetris piece. This does not happen in nature. Sure would be a great discovery. Just what we were looking for.

Any discovery of new particles or correlations that we can make is a win-win.

This proposed collection system would have most of its expense in the back end. The abduction collection kits would easily be under $30 including returned postage.  The cost of processing and warehousing would be the big expense.

All things considered, this system would be very cheap to operate when you consider the potential intellectual advancement potential.

We really need to have new ideas, a new organization, and new determination to do whatever is needed to make the study of alien abduction an action-oriented discipline instead of what is has always been an unfocused reactionary one.

You Find A Crashed Alien Space Craft Filled With Advanced Technologies. What Should You Do With It?

One day you are out exploring the vast untouched wilderness of the Canadian north-west. Trees for as far as the eyes can see. Miles upon countless miles of virgin forest. You are inspired by the clean air and unspoiled nature. You are hiking on land untouched by human hands or feet. Your mind wanders as the breeze blows. You are utterly alone with your thoughts. As you walk in primal bliss…slowly the sounds of nature recede. Unnoticeable at first. The sounds of the birds, crickets, and woodpeckers evaporate into utter silence. Even the cool breeze you took for granted is a no-show. You wonder when did it get silent. Was it you?

Off through a slight opening in the trees, you see something shiny. A glint of sunlight in an otherwise pastel living backdrop. You approach and the shiny increases. You know no one else has ever set foot this deep in the uncharted forest. Is that a soda can? A piece of snack wrapper from some adventurous litterer. What is it?

You approach closer. You feel a trickle of sweat down the small of you back. Your mind is playing tricks on you. You get closer and closer…it’s not a soda can. Pupils dilate, pulse quickens, adrenaline gushes into your system. Your brain recoils in disbelief. Half buried in the soft undergrowth is what looks like a classic UFO. A la George Pal in “Earth vs. The Flying Saucers”. You half expect to see Klatu milling around. Nothing moves. All you can hear is your pounding heartbeat. You kick into discovery mode. It looks old. It has been here a very long time judging by the forest overgrowth. Silver-ish in colour. The only explanation is that this is a genuine alien aircraft. You feverishly take your GPS coordinates.

Should you spirit the craft away in your barn in the woods, garage in the meat-packing district, or abandoned subway station. One of the three. Take care to prevent being followed! Prepare to live paranoid. No men in black yet…that is a good sign.

Being science-minded you consider the idea of something like this crashing in the first place. Paradox!

You understand the only option any alien race would have for travel through the unfathomably enormous distances and durations of space-time.  To get here with any hope of doing whatever it is you might posit they intend to do they would have to bend space-time.

Ok. So they are folding space and unfolding at their will to travel without any relativistic side effects and without, as such, taking any time to do it. They are essentially popping into existence at will. I know what they are not doing – they’re not flying around in our atmosphere like aircraft. They are not accidentally losing control “in the air” and crashing down in a forest like infant-superman. Their ships don’t have “wings”, they don’t hover over farm houses, probe your ass, kill your cows, fly in formation, or dart through the sky in any way. I would go so far as to say they can be invisible to any spectrum at will. If anything happened they could just pop back instantly home.

Above all else, they don’t crash. They have complete control over what they do. Why? Because all the capabilities I describe above are side effects of being able to fold space at will. The notion of crashing and the notion of bending space-time are incompatible. So something else is afoot.

Now what?

Call a lawyer.  Preferably one that is skilled in the law of salvage? Under maritime and aviation law, you may be able to get legal title to whatever is on the alien spacecraft, including intellectual property.  This could be extremely valuable. With the help of the lawyer, find reliable witnesses. With them watching, document it in every possible, non-intrusive way — still pictures, audio, and video recordings. Have them provide sworn affidavits as to its existence — this in case someone takes it away from you. Store an encrypted copy of the documentation someplace safe that is nowhere near you.

Could It Be Dangerous?

The technologies contained inside the ship easily has the potential to push humanity into a post-scarcity existence.

Scientists have confirmed that microbes from Earth survived the decontamination process on Earth, survived orbit, and then survived reentry because they were recovered after all that. So your crashed alien ship definitely has alien life on it, of the single-celled variety. Should you touch the thing? But it’s already been sitting on the ground, so anything it’s got has already contaminated the area. Therefore, the human race’s top experts on the dangers of infectious disease should be told about the unprecedented ground zero that just appeared. If anything exotic is found…you should probably take a minute to set your affairs in order because you’re gonna be quarantined indefinitely.

Your mind rushes to a sea of dollar signs. This thing could hold a copy of the Encyclopedia Galactica. Untold technological advances could be yours.

Imagine you are one of the brightest minds in Victorian England. A nuclear submarine is transported back in time – so obviously you start messing around to find what makes it tick. You extract the control rods/drums from the nuclear reactor. You just exposed an active highly radioactive core. No more London –  because no one knew about radioactivity back then. It gets worse if we are talking about invasion grade nano grey goo,  or terra-forming goo,  or Cthulu forbid something like a Kerr black hole energy storage.  And that’s just stuff we already know it’s possible. The only place you should experiment with alien technology is past the orbit of Pluto,  on an airless rock wired to the biggest, worst bomb you can imagine and rigged to go off if something as much as twitches. Oh, and the rock should be on an escape trajectory from the solar system. But, that would be the smart thing to do, us humans rarely do the smart thing.

But it can be clearly and unmistakably identified as an alien craft, it does at least prove that we are not alone in the universe, which is an enormously important insight in itself. Your task should be, not to use or reverse-engineer the ship, but to make its very existence known.

Document it in every way possible before going public with your discovery. Photographs, films, reliable witnesses etc. etc. It is inevitable that the authorities will snatch the wreck as soon as they learn about it, but make sure they will never be able to put a lid on the story and pretend the whole thing never happened. They may not even try, despite the whole Roswell mythology about how the government will “always” suppress evidence of ET, but with a discovery of this magnitude, you shouldn’t take any chances. The authorities will try to study and reverse-engineer the ship, but as noted, this is almost certainly a futile pursuit. In any case, it is a job best left to the greatest scientists that can be found, not something you should attempt on your own.

What You Should Really Do.

Start by anonymously sharing very basic information about it with possible media outlets, scientists, and businesses. Be careful to maintain your anonymity, and do not mention aliens. Grab a digital camera and start taking as many detailed pictures as you can, ensure all of your pictures are in RAW and JPEG. Ensure that your pictures contain landmarks as well as evidence of the crash site itself there can be no question surrounding either the authenticity or providence of these pictures. Now you have 2 choices. Upload them all, RAW and JPEG, to somewhere they will be disseminated quickly and won’t be able to easily be taken down or removed by fraudulent DMCA notices (perhaps Reddit), or encrypt them and find a way to get them along with a written statement to some reputable journalist before the US Government shows up on your doorstep and you disappear (a la Edward Snowden).

Get feedback from all of those sources to figure out what your options are and who seems to be willing to interact with you in a safe way.

Then, it depends on whether you can separate any part of the craft to show the technology to people to get additional feedback and a sense for where a bigger reveal might land you. If you can’t, then share information carefully. Also, have an online lockbox with evidence and some kind of tracker on the craft that will provide information to your friends. So that in case someone kidnaps you or something else happens, you have some leverage or chance of being saved.

Or… If that’s too complicated, you could do some research on what researchers at a big university would be interested in and able to analyze unknown technology. And then very publicly take it to that university and tell everyone along the way to get a lot of attention, and so that there are a ton of cell phone videos and postings on the net. That way, too many people know about it for an easy cover-up.

If you don’t do these simple things…Beg for your life. Seriously. Start begging. You aren’t begging to the aliens. You are begging to the very nice men and women who are about to show up in the SUVs with tinted windows. They WILL take it from you. They will take any photos or other evidence that you try and keep.  And lastly, they will take you.

If you are lucky you will undergo days of interrogation while being in quarantine and to liven up your days it will be interspersed with vigorous invasive medical testing.

After all that your choices are slim. 6-foot hole. 8 by 10 cell. Comfy padded room. Best case scenario, nondisclosure agreement, and release. Worst case scenario your body turns up in a ditch the victim of an apparent suicide.

You have to be smart about all this. Your life will never be the same. It is completely up to you if it will be a long and fruitful life or not.

Flat Earther's Rocket Launch Fails Spectacularly, Disappointing Tens

In a crushing blow to his ego, Michael “Mad Mike” Hughes has once again failed to launch his rocket for flat Earth “research.”

The 61-year-old limo driver previously gained notoriety when he attempted to blast off in the rocket back in November 2017 — a mission he called off at the last minute. This time, Hughes says a problem with the rocket’s actuator caused its ignition to malfunction. Since he wholeheartedly seems to believe the Earth is not round — a fact proven time and again in infinite permutations — it’s hard to say if Hughes actually knows what’s going on with his rocket.

“I’m sorry to disappoint everyone; I did the best I can do,” Hughes says in a video statement released after the failed launch. “I manned up. I got in it.”

In 2014, Hughes blasted himself 1,374 feet in a $20,000 homemade rocket — a feat he claims to have achieved without the help of science.

“I know about aerodynamics and fluid dynamics and how things move through the air, about the certain size of rocket nozzles and thrust,” he told the Associated Press in November 2017. “But that’s not science; that’s just a formula. There’s no difference between science and science fiction.”

It seems after this latest failed attempt, Hughes might be out of the game for good, which would undoubtedly disappoint his sponsors, a group called Research Flat Earth. In addition to technical difficulties with the rocket, Hughes told reporters on Monday that he is suing the governor of California and several public officials, which would complicate his plans for another attempt.

Silpho Moor 'UFO bits' found in Science Museum archive

Fragments of a mysterious object dubbed "Britain's answer to Roswell" have been unearthed after being hidden away for decades in a Science Museum archive.

In 1957, newspapers reported a small "copper-bottomed flying saucer" being found on Silpho Moor near Scarborough.

Despite tests finding the object was likely to be terrestrial in origin, the unusual item sparked wide intrigue.

Shards held in the archives have been re-examined after archivists were told of their "cultural significance".

Dr David Clarke, a journalism lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, was invited to study the fragments after giving a talk about the Ministry of Defence's UFO files at the London museum.

Speaking to the BBC, he said the metal object was originally found by three men on moorland weeks after Russia's first Sputnik satellite was launched.

Reports at the time suggested the 18in metallic saucer contained thin copper sheets engraved with unintelligible hieroglyphics.

"It was tinkered with and sliced into tiny pieces to be examined by various people," he said.

Doubts about its authenticity were quick to emerge, with tests at the Natural History Museum and the University of Manchester finding it was likely to be an "elaborate hoax".

Despite this, Dr Clarke said, the object created an urban legend, provoking many conspiracy theories.

While at a recent conference about the National Archives, Dr Clarke was told about "alleged UFO bits" lying in a cigarette tin in the museum's collection.

'Massive cultural history'

Khalil Thirlaway, an exhibition developer who showed Dr Clarke the fragments, said: "I had been looking at three or four large folders connected to aviation historian Charles Harvard Gibbs-Smith, who was also a UFO enthusiast, and found these items.

"There's a good chance they are from Silpho Moor, as they correlate to the contemporary descriptions of the find."

Dr Clarke said: "He opened the tin box and took out the pieces, it was an amazing revelation - it had just been sitting there for half a century.

"There must be a lot of it still out there, sitting in someone's attic, or maybe these are the last remaining pieces."

He added: "I thought it was a prank, but the question remains - who went to all that trouble at great expense and what did they gain from it?

"It has been described several times as Britain's answer to Roswell, and I don't think that's too great an exaggeration."

Mr Thirlaway said: "We didn't know there was this massive cultural history behind it, it really brought the items to life for us.

"There's a chance they may go on display as we're now aware of their cultural significance."

A black UFO was spotted during Elon Musk's SpaceX rocket launch which has prompted claims of extraterrestrial life and a supposed 'cover up'.

The billionaire, who owns Tesla motors and founded SpaceX, sparked an international media frenzy when he sent his Roadster car into space strapped to his company's Falcon Heavy rocket.

But some people have spotted a black object in the video recorded from the rocket and have speculated on social media that it may be an actual UFO.

And so-called truthers have also hinted that the presence of an alien craft was covered up when video footage from the spacecraft cut out, the Daily Star reports.

One person wrote online: “My thought was a trans atmospheric skip vehicle, but I could just be hopeful.”

And another breathless enthusiast wrote: “Is that aliens!!! What is this?”

But other commenters brought the conspiracy theorists back down to earth, saying the unidentified flying object is probably just some human-made space junk or a satellite.

One commented: “It might even have just been another satellite in orbit. With all the c**p that's up there, it's far more likely that it's debris or something that's been in orbit for awhile than it was something secret.

“Tbh with every launch or space station video there's always a ufo sighting on the video.”

SpaceX founder Elon Musk has sent his rocket to orbit Mars and he has also declared that humans would walk on the Red Planet in just a few decades.

The successful launch of the SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket this week "puts us in a completely different realm of what we can put into deep space, what we can send to Mars", said analogue astronaut Kartik Kumar.

But the next step to Mars, he said, is to tackle non-engineering problems such as medical emergency responses and isolation.

"These are things I think can't be underestimated," Mr Kumar said.

So Musk's goal of transporting life to Mars remains a dream for now, but truthers continue to watch the skies for signs that life may already be up there.

Top-secret ‘triangular spy plane’ filmed ‘flying out of canyon’ near USAF base

A UFO hunter claims to have found the most conclusive proof ever of the USAF’s secret TR-3B spy plane.

The triangular aircraft – also known as the Black Manta – has long-been claimed by conspiracy theorists to have been built by the USAF under a black project.

There has never been an official acknowledgement of the plane, only sightings and experiences.

But now, alien enthusiast Steve Barone has posted a video that he says is the best proof yet of the elusive craft, reports Express.co.uk.

The short clip appears to show two UFOs flying in front of a canyon near the Nellis Air Force base in Las Vegas Valley, Nevada, US.

“I set my night vision camera up to do a little sky fishing looking at the entrance of Red Rock Canyon,” he said.

“When I got the video inside and went through it slowly and was amazed towards the end of the video you see two triangle objects fly out of the canyon into the Las Vegas valley.

“It is a really good example of what was flying out of that canyon.”

Viewers were quick to offer their own thoughts on what the sighting was.

“It passed over in front of me at a super fast speed from right to left and disappeared. This was after viewing UFO orbs high in the night sky the night before."

New Images of Ancient Maya Megopolis Reveal Thousands of Lost Pyramids And Monuments

Researchers have made a mind-gobbling discovery neat Peten, deep in the Guatemalan jungle. Using LiDAR technology, researchers have found more than 60,000 previously unknown structures that were once home to a massive pre-Columbian Civilization.

With the help of revolutionary LiDAR technology (short for “Light Detection And Ranging”), modern archeologists are making history. Recently, experts have discovered tens of thousands of ancient structures belonging to the ancient Maya civilization.

The LIDAR TITAN instrument used by the PACUNAM LIDAR initiative penetrates the forest cover and the GPS instrumentation allows researchers to locate each point with millimeter accuracy. This allows the development of more accurate surface maps than with any other technology available today.

“The LiDAR images make it clear that this entire region was a settlement system whose scale and population density had been grossly underestimated,” said Thomas Garrison, an Ithaca College archaeologist and National Geographic Explorer who specializes in using digital technology for archaeological research.

The massive pyramids, temples, palaces, and causeways were discovered hidden deep beneath the dense Guatemalan Jungle.

The discovery suggests that the ancient Maya built massive self-sustaining cities. Furthermore, the discovery has helped confirm that the Maya civilization was much larger and far more advanced than what was previously believed.

As noted by researchers, LiDAR technology has also uncovered ancient engineering works and specialized agricultural areas capable of sustaining a massive population at an almost industrial level, and Jorge Mario Chajon, the  general director of the Guatemalan Tourism Institute has said; “These findings reaffirm that Guatemala is the heart of the Mayan world.”

Their discoveries were represented in a number of digital maps and in augmented reality applications that transform the aerial data into a land view, designed exclusively for the National Geographic documentary. Thankfully, all of these stunning discoveries were made without having to cut a single tree.

Previously a Mayan population of between 1 and 2 million inhabitants had been proposed by experts, but the new data has shown a population of about 20 million inhabitants that occupied the plains of the Mayan civilization, an amount that represents around half of the European population at that time, occupying an area the size of Italy.

“This revelation is one of the most important developments in Mayan archeology in the last 100 years,” said Tom Garrison, of Ithaca College, one of the archaeologists leading the project.

“The Mayan wars have been the subject of research for decades and, now, the technology is revealing the physical manifestation of those past conflicts, demonstrating that they were a determining factor of the ancient Mayan culture, probably configuring the emergence and development of some of their bigger cities,” he added.

This Asteroid Can't Wait to Snuggle Earth on Friday

On Friday, a small asteroid called 2018 CB will safely whiz by Earth, posing absolutely no threat to humanity. It will get pretty close to our pale blue dot, however, giving Earth a much-needed hug.

According to NASA, the asteroid will pass our planet at around 5:30 p.m. Eastern (2:30 p.m. Pacific) at a distance of about 39,000 miles (64,000 kilometers). That’s only one-fifth of the distance between Earth and our moon, making this a pretty close encounter. Still, the asteroid is just a smol boy — it’s likely between 50 and 130 feet (15 and 40 meters) in size. It’s like a flying kitten, minus all the biting and scratching.

“Although 2018 CB is quite small, it might well be larger than the asteroid that entered the atmosphere over Chelyabinsk, Russia, almost exactly five years ago, in 2013,” Paul Chodas, manager of the Center for Near-Earth Object Studies at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, says in a press release. “Asteroids of this size do not often approach this close to our planet — maybe only once or twice a year.”

Surprisingly, 2018 CB and another asteroid that passed us this week — 2018 CC — were discovered on Sunday, February 4. Both were spotted by astronomers at the Catalina Sky Survey (CSS) in Arizona.

For those hoping to get whacked in the face by an asteroid: I’m sorry. This tiny asteroid means no harm — it just wants to take a close peek at Earth and then pass onward into the void.

Extraterrestrial real estate: Can you buy land on other planets?

NASA has been developing a new power source called the kilopower reactor, that could potentially provide energy for use in space. 

According to NASA, if the trials are successful they could provide an affordable nuclear power system to enable long-duration stays on other planets. 

So, with previous evidence of water existing on mars and now a potential new power source, are we another step closer to living in space? And can we actually buy land there?

Travelling the distance

While travelling to the moon and Mars were once distant dreams reserved for aspiring astronauts, in the near future, entrepreneurs may be making it a possibility for ordinary cashed-up citizens to hitch a ride to outer space.

Currently, space tourism is a real industry, with four tourists having flown in Russian vessels for a one-week trip to space costing them $US20 million each.

But now, business minds are investing in space airlines, making it possible to fly more people into the cosmos for less money.

Virgin’s Richard Branson and Amazon’s Jef Bezos want to send people to space.

Billionaire and founder of the Virgin Group, Richard Branson, has been building the world’s first commercial airline Virgin Galactic.

With fares costing US$250,000 each, 580 people have already put down deposits for a ride aboard.

Founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, is also investing in spacecrafts and has priced each trip with his new company Blue Origin at US$300,000.

Bezos says that while short trips and space tourism is a first step, he envisages people one day living in space.

“The long-term vision is millions of people living and working in space. We need a space-faring civilisation,” Bezos said at The Satellite 2017 conference in Washington.

The launch of these vessels may be sooner than you think, with Branson aiming to have his first commercial space flight launched by the end of 2018, and Bezos hoping to launch a Blue Origin ship in the beginning of 2019.

Can you buy a house in space?

Although space travel may become more accessible in the near future and we’re continually finding more ways to sustain life outside planet Earth, the question of being able to purchase land in space and live on it is still a grey area.

In 1967 the US and the Soviet Union negotiated the Outer Space Treaty, which states that no nation can own a piece of the moon.

But this hasn’t stopped entrepreneurs from selling acreage on other planets and moons, with some arguing the treaty didn’t technically prohibit individuals or companies from owning it.

Lunar Land is one of the most prominent companies selling extraterrestrial real estate and has reportedly sold blocks to celebrities, NASA employees, past presidents and multinational corporations.

The company was founded in 1980 by an American entrepreneur, Dennis Hope, who registered and copyrighted his business venture with his local US governmental office.

The company is registered to sell land from any planet or moon within the galaxy except Earth and the sun, but has neither been acknowledged or contested by the UN.

According to the website, Lunar Land has sold over one million hectares of land to date, at roughly $US50 per hectare.

Nicole Kidman, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Barbara Walters and two former US presidents, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan, have all reportedly purchased land through the company.

Despite their popularity, these online deeds remain controversial; the lack of recognition by the UN or any other international body leaves their legitimacy up in the air. 

And while we remain in waiting for an international authority to confirm the legitimacy of extraterrestrial real estate, with billions being invested into the space industry, living on another planet may not be as far away as we think.

WHY ALIEN LIFE WOULD BE OUR DOOM - THE GREAT FILTER

Finding alien life on a distant planet would be amazing news - or would it? If we are not the only intelligent life in the universe, this probably means our days are numbered and doom is certain.

Extraterrestrial life, also called alien life (or, if it is a sentient or relatively complex individual, an "extraterrestrial" or "alien"), is life that occurs outside of Earth and that probably did not originate from Earth. These hypothetical life forms may range from simple prokaryotes to beings with civilizations far more advanced than humanity. The Drake equation speculates about the existence of intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. The science of extraterrestrial life in all its forms is known as exobiology.

Since the mid-20th century, there has been an ongoing search for signs of extraterrestrial life. This encompasses a search for current and historic extraterrestrial life, and a narrower search for extraterrestrial intelligent life. Depending on the category of search, methods range from the analysis of telescope and specimen data to radios used to detect and send communication signals.

The concept of extraterrestrial life, and particularly extraterrestrial intelligence, has had a major cultural impact, chiefly in works of science fiction. Over the years, science fiction communicated scientific ideas, imagined a wide range of possibilities, and influenced public interest in and perspectives of extraterrestrial life. One shared space is the debate over the wisdom of attempting communication with extraterrestrial intelligence. Some encourage aggressive methods to try for contact with intelligent extraterrestrial life. Others—citing the tendency of technologically advanced human societies to enslave or wipe out less advanced societies—argue that it may be dangerous to actively call attention to Earth.

General

Alien life, such as microorganisms, has been hypothesized to exist in the Solar System and throughout the universe. This hypothesis relies on the vast size and consistent physical laws of the observable universe. According to this argument, made by scientists such as Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking, as well as well-regarded thinkers such as Winston Churchill, it would be improbable for life not to exist somewhere other than Earth. This argument is embodied in the Copernican principle, which states that Earth does not occupy a unique position in the Universe, and the mediocrity principle, which states that there is nothing special about life on Earth. The chemistry of life may have begun shortly after the Big Bang, 13.8 billion years ago, during a habitable epoch when the universe was only 10–17 million years old. Life may have emerged independently at many places throughout the universe. Alternatively, life may have formed less frequently, then spread—by meteoroids, for example—between habitable planets in a process called panspermia. In any case, complex organic molecules may have formed in the protoplanetary disk of dust grains surrounding the Sun before the formation of Earth. According to these studies, this process may occur outside Earth on several planets and moons of the Solar System and on planets of other stars.

Since the 1950s, scientists have proposed that "habitable zones" around stars are the most likely places to find life. Numerous discoveries in such zones since 2007 have generated numerical estimates of Earth-like planets —in terms of composition—of many billions. As of 2013, only a few planets have been discovered in these zones. Nonetheless, on 4 November 2013, astronomers reported, based on Kepler space mission data, that there could be as many as 40 billion Earth-sized planets orbiting in the habitable zones of Sun-like stars and red dwarfs in the Milky Way, 11 billion of which may be orbiting Sun-like stars. The nearest such planet may be 12 light-years away, according to the scientists. Astrobiologists have also considered a "follow the energy" view of potential habitats.

Evolution

A study published in 2017 suggests that due to how complexity evolved in species on Earth, the level of predictability for alien evolution elsewhere would make them look similar to life on our planet. One of the study authors, Sam Levin, notes "Like humans, we predict that they are made-up of a hierarchy of entities, which all cooperate to produce an alien. At each level of the organism there will be mechanisms in place to eliminate conflict, maintain cooperation, and keep the organism functioning. We can even offer some examples of what these mechanisms will be." There is also research in assessing the capacity of life for developing intelligence. It has been suggested that this capacity arises with the number of potential niches a planet contains, and that the complexity of life itself is reflected in the information density of planetary environments, which in turn can be computed from its niches.

Biochemical basis

Life on Earth requires water as a solvent in which biochemical reactions take place. Sufficient quantities of carbon and other elements, along with water, might enable the formation of living organisms on terrestrial planets with a chemical make-up and temperature range similar to that of Earth. More generally, life based on ammonia (rather than water) has been suggested, though this solvent appears less suitable than water. It is also conceivable that there are forms of life whose solvent is a liquid hydrocarbon, such as methane, ethane or propane.

About 29 chemical elements play an active positive role in living organisms on Earth. About 95% of living matter is built upon only six elements: carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus and sulfur.

These six elements form the basic building blocks of virtually all life on Earth, whereas most of the remaining elements are found only in trace amounts. The unique characteristics of carbon make it unlikely that it could be replaced, even on another planet, to generate the biochemistry necessary for life. The carbon atom has the unique ability to make four strong chemical bonds with other atoms, including other carbon atoms. These covalent bonds have a direction in space, so that carbon atoms can form the skeletons of complex 3-dimensional structures with definite architectures such as nucleic acids and proteins. Carbon forms more compounds than all other elements combined. The great versatility of the carbon atom makes it the element most likely to provide the bases—even exotic ones—for the chemical composition of life on other planets.

Planetary habitability in the Solar System

Some bodies in the Solar System have the potential for an environment in which extraterrestrial life can exist, particularly those with possible subsurface oceans. Should life be discovered elsewhere in the Solar System, astrobiologists suggest that it will more likely be in the form of extremophile microorganisms. According to NASA's 2015 Astrobiology Strategy, "Life on other worlds is most likely to include microbes, and any complex living system elsewhere is likely to have arisen from and be founded upon microbial life. Important insights on the limits of microbial life can be gleaned from studies of microbes on modern Earth, as well as their ubiquity and ancestral characteristics."

Mars may have niche subsurface environments where microbial life might exist. A subsurface marine environment on Jupiter's moon Europa might be the most likely habitat in the Solar System, outside Earth, for extremophilemicroorganisms.

The panspermia hypothesis proposes that life elsewhere in the Solar System may have a common origin. If extraterrestrial life was found on another body in the Solar System, it could have originated from Earth just as life on Earth could have been seeded from elsewhere (exogenesis). The first known mention of the term 'panspermia' was in the writings of the 5th century BC Greek philosopher Anaxagoras. In the 19th century it was again revived in modern form by several scientists, including Jöns Jacob Berzelius (1834), Kelvin (1871), Hermann von Helmholtz (1879) and, somewhat later, by Svante Arrhenius (1903). Sir Fred Hoyle (1915–2001) and Chandra Wickramasinghe (born 1939) are important proponents of the hypothesis who further contended that life forms continue to enter Earth's atmosphere, and may be responsible for epidemic outbreaks, new diseases, and the genetic novelty necessary for macroevolution.

Directed panspermia concerns the deliberate transport of microorganisms in space, sent to Earth to start life here, or sent from Earth to seed new stellar systems with life. The Nobel prize winner Francis Crick, along with Leslie Orgel proposed that seeds of life may have been purposely spread by an advanced extraterrestrial civilization, but considering an early "RNA world" Crick noted later that life may have originated on Earth.

Meteorite and volcanoes may have worked together to wipe out dinosaurs

New evidence suggests that both a meteorite and massive volcano eruptions worked together to wipe out the dinosaurs.

An apocalyptic impact

Dinosaurs ruled the planet for over a hundred million years, but their reign came to an abrupt end some 66 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous. The most popular theory, and the one with the most evidence to back it is that this abrupt end was brought about by a massive asteroid or a comet — the crater of which we call Chicxulub.

Chicxulub lies underneath the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico, hidden to the naked eye, visible only through geophysical techniques. The crater, which measures 150 kilometers (93 miles) in diameter and 20 km (12 mi) in depth, indicates an apocalyptic impact. Geologists estimate that the impact had the energy of 10 billion Hiroshima A-bombs, millions of times more powerful than any object mankind has ever detonated. Words can’t do this event justice.

A cloud of super-heated dust, ash and steam spread from the crater at dramatic speeds, as the impact body burrowed underground in less than a second. Virtually all life 5,000 km away was wiped instantly. But the worst was still yet to come.

The impact triggered a massive emission of dust and particles which covered the entire surface of the Earth for several years, possibly a decade, creating a harsh environment for living things. Initially, the shock destruction of carbonate rocks led to a sudden and powerful greenhouse effect, heating the planet. But as time went on, the dust particles blocked the sunlight from reaching the surface of the Earth, cooling the surface dramatically.

To top it all off, the impact generated ungodly shockwaves, which in turn caused earthquakes and caused volcanic activity. This is where the new study comes in.

A one-two punch

New oceanic crust is constantly produced at mid-oceanic ridges. Here, red represents the newer crust. This helps geologists get a ballpark figure for dating the rocks. The date is then finessed through direct measurement techniques.

As if all that wasn’t enough, the impact also triggered volcanic activity which helped seal the dinosaurs’ fate.

“We found evidence for a previously unknown period of globally heighted volcanic activity during the mass-extinction event,” said former UO doctoral student Joseph Byrnes.

Byrnes and Leif Karlstrom, a professor in the UO’s Department of Earth Sciences, analyzed a record of volcanism preserved along the mid-ocean ridges — underwater mountain system formed at the edge of tectonic plates.

In order to assess the volcanic activity, they used a geophysical technique called gravity surveying. This approach involves measuring the Earth’s gravitational field using highly sensitive instruments, capable of picking up even minute differences. In this instance, researchers used freely available satellite data.

By mapping the gravity field, they are able to deduct the density of the underlying rocks and thus, they have some information as to what kind of rock they’re looking at (for instance, a volcanic basalt will have a much higher density than a sedimentary limestone). This allows them to identify volcanic regions, and improved dating methods allowed them to place the increased volcanic activity right at the same time as Chicxulub, establishing a strong correlation.

“Our work suggests a connection between these exceedingly rare and catastrophic events, distributed over the entire planet,” Karlstrom said. “The meteorite’s impact may have influenced volcanic eruptions that were already going on, making for a one-two punch.”

So, researchers conclude, it wasn’t the impact itself that wiped out the dinosaurs, but rather a cascade of effects, including massive eruptions of underwater volcanoes. It’s another important reminder that the Earth is a tightly-knit ecosystem, and severe events tend to propagate all around the planet.

However, perhaps it’s important to note that through this catastrophe, and a few similarly devastating events, life still managed to find a way. Dinosaurs themselves, despite popular knowledge, are not exactly extinct. In a way, they’re thriving — as birds. A group of dinosaurs evolved and adapted, becoming the birds we see all around us.

New Horizons Captures Record-Breaking Images in the Kuiper Belt

With its Long Range Reconnaissance Imager (LORRI), New Horizons has observed several Kuiper Belt objects (KBOs) and dwarf planets at unique phase angles, as well as Centaurs at extremely high phase angles to search for forward-scattering rings or dust. These December 2017 false-color images of KBOs 2012 HZ84 (left) and 2012 HE85 are, for now, the farthest from Earth ever captured by a spacecraft. They're also the closest-ever images of Kuiper Belt objects.

Een dag lang leek het alsof Elon Musk over bovennatuurlijke krachten beschikte. De lancering van een rode Tesla Roadster met de krachtigste raket ter wereld - de ‘Falcon Heavy’ van zijn andere bedrijf SpaceX - was een ongezien succes. Maar de resultaten die de CEO woensdag presenteerde, veroorzaakten een knalharde landing. De baas van Tesla zag het verlies afgelopen kwartaal nog verder oplopen tot ruim 675 miljoen dollar, nadat in het derde kwartaal al het grootste verlies ooit was neergezet. En daar zit de sputterende productie van het Model 3 voor veel tussen.

Het zit Tesla al langer tegen bij de productie van Model 3. Dat is de nieuwe auto die in juli geïntroduceerd werd als de ‘elektrische auto voor de massa’. De autobouwer heeft fors geïnvesteerd in allerlei robots, assemblagelijnen en andere zaken die nodig zijn voor de bouw. Voorlopig steekt de levering ervan echter nog af bij de andere, duurdere modellen.

In oktober, november en december werden in totaal nog maar 1.550 exemplaren van de Model 3 gebouwd. Tesla zag zich in januari daarom al genoodzaakt de productiedoelstellingen nog verder voor zich uit te schuiven. Het bedrijf denkt nu niet voor halverwege dit jaar 5.000 wagens per week te kunnen afleveren van het type. In totaal leverde Tesla in het vierde kwartaal 29.870 voertuigen af.

Worst

De CEO repte met geen woord over de datum waartegen de oorspronkelijk beoogde capaciteit van 10.000 stuks per week zou moeten worden bereikt. “We zijn nog een eind verwijderd van de productiedoelstellingen”, zei hij. “Maar als we een Roadster naar de planetoïdengordel kunnen sturen, kunnen we hopelijk ook de productieproblemen met Model 3 oplossen.” 

Musk liet verder niet in zijn kaarten kijken. Hij vergeleek de productie van Model 3 met worst. “Wanneer men dol is op worst, vraagt men zich ook beter niet af hoe die lekkernij wordt gemaakt.”

Lichtpuntje: de opbrengsten van Tesla gingen op jaarbasis wel vooruit, van 2,3 miljard naar 3,3 miljard dollar. En Musk heeft aan beleggers laten uitschijnen dat de verliezen weldra tot het verleden gaan behoren. Men verwacht dat het bedrijfsresultaat “ergens in 2018” definitief positief zal worden. Van de S- en X-modellen zullen er dit jaar ongeveer 100.000 worden verkocht, voorspelde de Tesla-baas.

Speculaties

In het verleden deden speculaties de ronde als zou Musk op het punt staan om Tesla de rug toe te keren om zich te kunnen focussen op het organiseren van ruimtereizen. Gezien het enthousiaste gejuich over zijn raketlancering, zou het behoorlijk verleidelijk zijn om de verliesrapporten van Tesla aan een ander over te laten. Zeker om dat zijn contract die mogelijkheid voorziet.

Musk heeft echter verzekerd dat er “geen actieve zoektocht naar een nieuwe CEO plaatsvindt”. “Maar op een gegeven moment kan een geweldige persoon van binnen of buiten het bedrijf die functie op zich nemen - en dat is oké voor mij.”

Tweede asteroïde in week tijd zoeft vandaag rakelings langs onze aarde - HLN.be

Het hemellichaam, dat 2018 CB werd gedoopt, is de tweede asteroïde die deze week voorbij onze aarde zoeft, schrijft CNN. De planetoïde werd op 4 februari ontdekt en zal rond 11.30 uur Belgische tijd zijn dichtste punt met de aarde bereiken, aldus NASA.

Volgens NASA zal 2018 CB de aarde veilig passeren op een afstand van ruim 60.000 kilometer, wat volgens ruimtevaartnormen vrij dichtbij is. Ter vergelijking: de afstand van de aarde tot de maan telt ongeveer 384.000 kilometer.

Eerder deze week kregen we al bezoek van 2018 CC. Die asteroïde werd eveneens op 4 februari ontdekt en zoefde dinsdagavond op een afstand van 184.000 kilometer langs de aarde.

In November 1957, three men witnessed a red light falling from the skies above Silpho Moor in northern England near Royal Air Force Fylingdales. The men got out of their car to investigate after their car mysteriously stopped and discovered a strange object lying on the ground. The object was roughly eighteen inches across, saucer-shaped, and quite heavy for its size. The object changed hands a few times, and was allegedly opened at some point, at which a rolled ‘booklet’ of copper sheets embossed with unidentifiable hieroglyphs or symbols was found.

What followed became one of the strangest UFO mysteries in England, described in detail here by Mysterious Universe’s Nick Redfern. Like many supposed UFO artifacts, the Silpho Moor object was eventually lost to history, it’s whereabouts unknown for the last six decades. However, a London museum is now reporting the discovery of archival documents which detail how the objects were studied in the years following their discovery. According to the Yorkshire Post, documents found in the archives of London Science Museum seem to suggest that pieces of the Silpho Moor object were sent to the museum in 1963 for expert analysis.

The documents state that the artifacts sent to the museum included a section of the metal plastic outer casing, a short length of copper tubing, and several shards of foil from the “booklet” found inside. The artifacts were studied by the Natural History Museum Gordon Claringbull, described as a meteorites and explosives expert. The documents state that analyses of the objects revealed they were likely of Earthly origin, and many of the museum staff who examined them believed them to be an elaborate hoax. Still, others like Air Chief Marshal Lord Dowding who led the RAF forces at the Battle of Britain in WWII claimed to have personally examined the object and believed it to be of extraterrestrial origin.

Despite the divided opinions in the documents, some ufologists believe these archival rechods vindicate claims that the Silpho Moor object could be the UK’s most significant UFO incident. Author and paranormal researcher Andy Roberts called the discovery of these documents “an amazing breakthrough,” claiming “it’s incredible to hear that all this time pieces of this mystery object have been sitting in a museum archive.” Sure, I guess. While these documents add some credibility to the story in general, they still don’t definitively explain what the Silpho Moor object could have been, where the object was for those six missing years, or what has happened to it ever since. What exactly fell on the moors in late 1957? Debris from a Russian satellite? New technology being tested at the nearby RAF base? Or a genuine alien artifact?

Accounts of UFO encounters are inherently bizarre, and seem to cover a wide array of disparate unexplained phenomena associated with them. One very odd occurrence that seems to hang over some cases is instances of alleged teleportation of witnesses, sometimes individually and sometimes more than person, as well as objects and even whole vehicles and their occupants. With regards to UFOs this is sometimes referred to as “teletransportation,” and it can happen instantaneously or over the course of minutes or even hours, all ending with the common factor of UFO witnesses being in one place one moment, and in another the next, often very far away from where they started and without any idea of how they have covered the distance, nor any memory of what has happened. It all sounds rather outlandish, and it is, but there are numerous reports of this happening, and it seems to be a recurring unusual characteristic in an already unusual field.

In September of 1979, the Richmond Virginia Times-Dispatchreported on the strange case of truck driver Harry Turner, who was driving from Fredericksburg from Winchester, Virginia, in the United States, when his car was without warning enveloped by a blindingly bright light, which he at first had taken to be the headlights of an incoming truck. His truck was then surrounded by a “palpably thick white light,” and he noticed that the steering wheel had taken on a life of its own, no longer under his control. Turner then found that his truck was actually floating over the landscape, and before he could adjust to this precarious new predicament he claims that the door was suddenly ripped open by an unknown invisible entity, as another seemed to scramble about on the roof of the vehicle. It was then that the creature at his door reached in to grab him in an iron grip.

Fortunately for Turner, he had been carrying with him a revolver, which he instinctively drew and fired wildly at where he perceived the mysterious unseen being to be, but this seemed to have little effect. That was when he says he blacked out completely, and the next thing he remembers is being in a warehouse parking lot in Fredericksburg, far from where he had last been. In his hand he still gripped the pistol, and there were spent shells littering the vehicle all about him. Bizarrely, it was 3 AM in the morning according to the warehouse clock, whereas his own watch read 11:17 PM, and as far as his truck’s odometer was concerned he had only traveled 17 miles, when the trip to Fredericksburg should have been more like 80.

Although his memory was hazy at first, Turner would later recount how he had been taken aboard a craft and encountered strange beings “dressed in white, like doctors, with white caps on their head,” which he believed to be “ultra-terrestrials,” more or less inter-dimensional beings. In later days he would report more oddities, such as being confronted by a band of six of the creatures, five of which he reportedly knocked to the ground in his fight against them. On another occasion, he says that he suddenly became soaking wet for no discernible reason at all. In the meantime, animals seemed to be uncomfortable around him, and he often had ringing in his ears and suicidal thoughts. On one occasion he says that one of the creatures appeared there in his car with him as he drove along, which freaked him out and sent him into a mad dash that would culminate in him being pulled over and charged with two counts of reckless driving and two counts of failing to heed a siren and flashing lights. The alien was gone at this point. Turner has said of his thoughts on the matter thus:

Ever since it all began, I’ve just been sitting here going over and over it in my mind, trying to piece things back together. I’d feel pretty good if I could just figure out where I’ve been. Twenty years from now I’ll still probably never know what happened that night.

Also from 1978 is a perplexing case from the South American country of Chile, which involved two race car drivers named Miguel Angel Moya and Carlos Acevedo during the first Rally de la Vuelta de America del Sur in September of that year, and which was printed by researcher Guillermo Roncorconi in UFO Press No. 9, October 1978. The drivers departed from the city of Buenos Aires on August 17, 1978, embarking on the first leg of their exhausting month-long rally, which would take them thousands of kilometers to Caracas Venezuela and back down to where they had started.

During their last 1,000 kilometers of the rally, on September 23 at around 3 AM, the drivers left the main road of Route 3 and began driving along a secluded rural road just past the town of Carmen de Patagones, which would lead them to a town called Cardenal Cagliero. At this time Carlos was at the wheel, and in his rearview mirror he suddenly noticed a bright light with a strange quality he described as “dense and yellowish,” which he at first thought to be perhaps headlights of another vehicle and which seemed to be growing closer and brighter at a rapid pace. Carlos pulled the car over to the side of the road, still thinking that this was another car or truck and thinking he would let it pass. Allegedly at that moment the entire vehicle was suddenly completely bathed in a breathtaking brilliant white light. Carlos would say of the bizarre events that followed thus:

Light flooded the passenger compartment and I couldn’t see beyond the hood of the car. It was a dense, brilliant light, yellow in color with some violet hues. I thought I’d lost control of the car at the moment. I looked through the window and saw were nearly two meters over the asphalt surface. I suddenly thought we had jumped over a speed bump and braced myself on the steering wheel, waiting for the moment we’d hit the surface again.

After a few seconds, I don’t know, maybe some 5 or 10, I reacted and realized that something completely abnormal was going on. I wanted to look out the window again, but all I could see was that dense light. I remember I started screaming ‘what’s going on?’ but Moya wasn’t answering. When I looked to my right, my companion wasn’t there, or at least I couldn’t see him. I couldn’t even see the dashboard. I could only see that dense light that looked liquid, I don’t know, sort of viscous.

Meanwhile, the other passenger, Miguel Angel Moya, was there, and was described as being completely terrified by the situation, which to be fair was probably the correct response to such a completely otherworldly series of events. Miguel would later recall of the surreal situation:

Initially I also thought it was a speed bump, and was scared at the thought of the vehicle overturning, but when I noticed that the car appeared to float in the air and wasn’t coming down, I became even more frightened. It was a situation I couldn’t really understand. I looked at Carlos and I saw him completely stiff, clutching the steering wheel with his arms outstretched and staring forward. It seemed like he was screaming but I couldn’t hear anything. I could see everything as if through a yellow fog, as if I was distant, somewhere else. I think my first reaction was to try and flee from there, but when I tried to open the door it wouldn’t budge, as if welded shut. I noticed the temperature was rising, although it could have been the result of my state of fear. Suddenly the light covered everything and I couldn’t see a thing, not even my hands, nothing.

The car then shuddered violently as it descended to hit the road, and the almost unbearably bright light began to dim and dissipate as the object was witnessed to travel off into the distance, and it was said to look like “a cone of yellow light, but one that didn’t end in a tip.” When their eyes had adjusted to the sudden dark, they realized that they had been deposited on the shoulder of the road facing the opposite direction of where they had been headed when the whole strange incident had started. They then watched the curious light travel off to the West, and Miguel would say of it:

It might have measured some five meters at the base and two or three at the cusp, measuring some six or seven meters in height. The base lit the ground, although you really couldn’t see what it was lighting, that is to say, you couldn’t see through the light. A few seconds later, the light…how can I explain it? …retracted itself or drew up like a curtain, from bottom to top, and all that remained in view was an oval, whitish-yellow light that kept heading west until it vanished in the distance.

The two shocked drivers reportedly sat there in awe and fear for a few minutes, trying to gather their wits about themselves, after which they went tearing off down Route 3 to get out of there as fast as they could. They would soon after reach a town called Pedro Luro, which was about 123 kilometers from where they had started and where the bizarreness would continue. Looking at the dashboard, they noticed that it said they had traveled just 52 kilometers from the city of Viedma to Puerto Luro, when in fact the actual distance it should have been was 127 kilometers. Somehow they had jumped a portion of that distance which had not registered on their vehicle. Even stranger still was that a look at a clock showed them that nearly 2 and a half hours had passed, when that journey should have only taken a little over an hour at the speeds they had been going, and adding to all of this it seemed that their backup gas tank was completely empty, despite the fact that they had just filled it up shortly before leaving Route 3. Although they at first thought about keeping the whole baffling event to themselves, they ended up going to the police with their story, after which it went on to become big news at the time.

Also from South America is a more recent case from May of 2017 in the location of the town of Hernandarias, in the province of Entre Rios, Argentina. According to the report, which was carried on Planeta UFO and CN Digital, a family gathered for dinner at their home on the night of May 22, 2017, and their 13-year old son was sent off on an errand to get something. The boy found that one of the doors was stuck, so another family member helped with trying to open it, but as he did this he allegedly turned around to find the boy was nowhere to be seen.

This wasn’t really so weird at this point, as the adult figured he had just returned to the dinner table, but it would soon become apparent that he had not, and that no one had seen the boy since he had left. The concerned family began searching the whole property and the street outside, but there was no sign where he had gone. At this point, one of their cell phones rang and on the other line was the missing boy, who sounded quite confused and purportedly told them that he was at a taxi stand but was not sure where it was or how he had gotten there.

When police were notified and finally located the boy, he was around a kilometer and a half away from the house. Questioning him did not do much good, as he seemed to have very little memory of what had happened to him after he had left the dinner table. All he could say was that he had seen a blinding light and heard a “snapping noise,” after which he found himself suddenly and inexplicably at the taxi stand. The boy was found to be completely healthy and with no sign of any physical injuries, and no one else in the area seems to have witnessed the light he speaks of. The odd case has been investigated ever since, with some UFO researchers holding it up as a case of abduction, some saying it is a case of spontaneous teleportation. UFO researcher Gustavo Fernández, who wrote of the event in an article entitled “Argentina: The Hernandarias Event – UFO Teleportation or Abduction,” which was translated to English by Scott Corrales of the Institute of Hispanic Ufology (IHU) believed that it is the latter, saying of the case:

This then is the description of the facts – accepting its likelihood, ratified by Diego Wasinger, the local police chief – allows us to suppose the existence of another phenomenon, a parapsychological one with considerable background: teleportation. This is the name given to a spectacular but documented phenomenon consisting in the dematerialization of a person from a given location and their reappearance at another. Why speculate about an intervention by alien craft? This would be so if the protagonist had described having been taken into a spacecraft, or if other witnesses had seen this. But here, the youth only sees “a light” and this does not suffice to tag it as a UFO.

In fact, as I often say: we say a shining light behaving abnormally in the sky and we say: “Oh! a UFO!”. We see a bright light behaving strangely at a graveyard and we say: “Oh! It’s a ghost!”. The only certainty in both cases is that we have seen a light behaving oddly. The “explanation” is simply our own speculation.

Argentina seems to be a veritable hotspot of such cases, and there is even a whole road that is known for having a high concentration of these strange incidents. Supposedly, the stretch of National Route 5 connecting Trenque Lauquen and Santa Rosa is absolutely plagued by reports of phenomena such as UFOs, instances of lost time, and teleportation. One commonly reported anomaly is startled drivers suddenly transported from the kilometer 460 marker to the kilometer 580 marker in the blink of an eye, a phenomenon often said to be accompanied by an inexplicable fog that comes from nowhere or mysterious unidentified lights in the sky.

According to UFO researcher Diego Sánchez, one very strange case along Route 5 involved a car mechanic named Carlos Colón, who was driving along the road on August 25, 1999, when his ears were assaulted by a deafening “buzzing sound.” The puzzled driver allegedly pulled over to the side of the road to try and figure out what was going on. He reported that as he had sat there in the car he noticed a group of mysterious humanoid figures creeping through the dark to approach the vehicle. Terrified, Carlos began to exit his car, and at that point the figures apparently vanished and he instantaneously found himself standing out of the vehicle several meters away. At the time the witness says he was overcome by an odd pain emanating from all over his body, as well as profound exhaustion, and dizziness.

In another case, a man was driving along near Buenos Aires when he saw a strange purple light off in the distance, after which an unseasonable fog purportedly enveloped his vehicle. The next thing he knew he was lying on the ground in an unfamiliar location with his car nowhere to be seen. When he flagged down a passing vehicle he learned that he was in Salta, a full 1800 kilometers away from where he had been. His car would be found back where he had first seen the light, its engine still idling. UFO researcher Luis Burgos has said of Route 5 and its strange phenomena thus:

Route 5 and the communities located in the province of La Pampa are, without a doubt, prone to a variety of UFO experiences, of which teleportations are one of the most interesting episodes. One is atemporal teleportation, in which the protagonist takes minutes, even hours, in regaining awareness in a location far removed from the one he or she was in before. The other is instantaneous teleportation, which is the kind that usually occurs on Route 5 when drivers are not even aware that they have experienced the phenomenon, suddenly becoming aware when they see a mile marker or road sign that tells them they have traversed an unexpected distance in a matter of seconds.

Speaking of Argentina, one of the most bizarre, spectacular, and controversial cases of UFOs and teleportation ever comes from here. In May of 1968, a Dr. Geraldo Vidal and his wife Raffo de Vidal allegedly headed out from Buenos Aires on a trip to join a family gathering at the city of Chascomus, which lies around 120 kilometers away. After the get-together, they took a detour on the way back home, deciding they would visit some friends in the town of Maipu, lying around 150 kilometers from Chascomus. They would never arrive at their destination, no trace of their whereabouts could be found, and friends and family became increasingly worried. 48 hours after this mysterious disappearances, some friends were startled to receive a call from Dr. Vidal, but the really strange thing was that he was calling from the Argentinean consulate in Mexico City, some 6,400 km away.

When the Vidals were back in Argentina, a deeply strange story began to emerge as to why they had ended up so far away. Dr. Vidal would say that on the evening of their vanishing they had been driving along a stretch of road when their vehicle had been inexplicably surrounded by a thick, white fog, and this would be the last thing they remembered before they woke up in the daytime on an unfamiliar rural road. Astonishingly, all though they remembered nothing of how they had gotten there a look at a calendar showed them that a full 48 hours had passed. Physically they felt fine, but they reported that their necks ached and they had perceived a certain heaviness throughout their bodies, as if they had slept too long.

Getting out of the car they discovered that the vehicle had strange scorch marks all down its sides, as it someone had taken a blowtorch to it, but the car otherwise worked fine. When they were able to ask some locals where they were, they were surprised and not a little unsettled to learn that they were actually now in Mexico, far from where they had just been, for them, moments before. Allegedly the Vidals drove over to Mexico City, where they explained the whole bizarre tale to a Rafael Lopez Pellegrini at the Argentine consulate. In an ominous turn of events, they were warned not to tell of what had happened to them to anyone, and their car was whisked away to the United States for analysis.

Despite this, the Vidal story was soon all over the news and it has gone on to become a classic, widely-known UFO case, reported on and written of countless times. Unfortunately, in later years the case has come under scrutiny as perhaps being a hoax. It turns out that not long before the strange incident an Argentinean science fiction film titled Che OVNI was in production. Directed by Anibal Uset, the film’s story of a couple who are teleported in their car displayed many of the same beats and details of the Vidal case, and even the car used in the film, a white Peugeot 403, is the same as the Vidals’.

Uset would even end up eventually admitting that he had created the whole Vidal story to promote and drum up interest in the movie, and because no first-hand witnesses to the incident had ever been directly interviewed, as well as the fact that there was scant evidence to prove that the Vidals had ever even been real people at all, this all pointed to the whole thing being a sham. Weirdly, despite this revelation there have been many who believe that Uset’s admission is a cover-up, and there are plenty of people who have claimed that they have met the Vidals and that their tale is actually true. So strong was the backlash against Uset’s admission that at one point the director himself started to think that maybe it was real after all and that his version of events was wrong. He would say of this to journalist Alejandro C. Agostinelli:

So many people approached me to say that they had known the Vidals that I began to have doubts. What is more, the confusion was such that I began to think that our story coincided with something that had really happened.

The supposed hoaxer having doubts? What is going on here and where does this leave us? Was the Vidal case a hoax or not? Was Uset’s admission that he had created the story real or was it a cover-up to discredit a true account? If it was real did his lie somehow mysteriously mirror a real event? Agostinelli has himself said of his opinion on Uset and the Vidals:

At the time, the fact that he (Uset) questioned his own creation startled me. But I think that this helps to understand how UFO stories are built along with many other modern myths. If even a hoaxer can be led to doubt, this means that mysteries are able to overcome any denial. That’s why I think myths are indestructible. Countless teleportation cases have occurred in Argentina and around the world, but the Vidal Case was a lie.

Nevertheless, the Vidal case continues to generate a fair amount of debate and discussion, it remains a classic case, and there are many who still think that it is a genuine event. Whether the case is real or not, one intriguing detail is the type of damage they supposedly found on their car, as if it had been subjected to some scorching heat, and this is a curious detailed in another bizarre case, in which one supposed UFO teleportation event seems to have apparently been stopped in the middle of the process. The witness claims that she had been driving through Chicago, Illinois, one evening in November of 2008 when she suddenly heard a series of loud thuds and bangs on her vehicle, as if someone were hammering at it from outside. These impacts became steadily stronger, to the point where some caused the whole car to shudder, with one particularly powerful tremor sending her into another lane.

When the incessant bangs stopped the understandably frightened woman pulled over to investigate any damage that had been caused to her car. Strangely, although there was no sign of dents or scratches that would have been caused by a collision or strike, the ides of the car looked as if they had been partially melted as if by an intense heat. It has been speculated that the woman had possibly been in the process of being sucked into some sort of portal, and the sounds that she had heard were perhaps it opening and closing around her, although why this all abruptly stopped is anyone’s guess.

Are any of these stories true, or are these hoaxes and tall tales? If they are genuine, then what is it that is happening to these people and who or what is behind it and for what purpose? Nobody knows. What we do know is that the UFO phenomenon is rife with the strange, the otherworldly, the surreal, and the downright insane, with seemingly no end to the wellspring of bizarreness that comes forth from it. With cases such as we have seen here we can add teleportation and teletransportation in some form or other to the long list of baffling details and clues already orbiting UFOs and their purported abilities, one more piece of weird to add to the considerable pile.

Of we het nu leuk vinden of niet, we gaan een nieuw tijdperk binnen waarbij technische snufjes die eerst sciencefiction leken, werkelijkheid worden. 

Waar overal veel geld in wordt geïnvesteerd in zelf rijdende auto's, heeft Airbus besloten om een nieuw soort taxi drone te ontwikkelen die je snel en veilig van A naar B brengt. 

Onze wegen raken overvol en dus is het logisch dat we wat meer naar het luchtruim kijken om te zorgen dat we niet straks met z'n allen permanent in een file staan. 

Tegelijkertijd zal dit uiteraard worden aangegrepen om bij de mens nog wat meer vrijheden weg te halen omdat men straks niet zelf meer mag rijden, maar dit alleen nog zal gebeuren door zelf rijdende auto's die vanuit een centraal punt worden bestuurd. Dit is ook handig voor de autoriteiten, want als die je willen spreken, rijdt je auto plotseling niet meer naar een bestemming die jij hebt uitgekozen, maar bijvoorbeeld linea recta naar een belastingkantoor waar je een hele hoop lastige vragen moet beantwoorden omdat "een goede Nederlander" heeft gemeld dat jij nog steeds contant geld gebruikt.

En waarschijnlijk moet de ontwikkeling van een zogenaamde taxi drone door Airbus in hetzelfde licht gezien worden. Het is in feite een variant van de zelf rijdende auto, maar dan in de lucht.

Twee jaar geleden is Airbus begonnen met de ontwikkeling van deze drone die als projectnaam Vahana heeft meegekregen; Sanskrit voor voertuig. Deze grote drone kan verticaal landen en opstijgen, waardoor het op alle plaatsen mensen kan oppikken en afzetten. Was het twee jaar geleden nog een vaag ontwerp, nu is bekend geworden dat de eerste testvlucht inmiddels is uitgevoerd.

De testvlucht was kort, werd gehouden in de Amerikaanse staat Oregon en duurde welgeteld 53 seconden. De dag daarna werd een tweede testvlucht uitgevoerd.

Het doel van deze drone is dat er in plaats van zelf rijdende auto's ook zelf vliegende voertuigen komen voor forensen en andere mensen die regelmatig reizen. De kosten wil men zo laag mogelijk houden en zullen te vergelijken zijn met bestaande vervoermiddelen zoals trein en auto. 

De Vahana moet minstens vier keer sneller de passagiers van A naar B kunnen brengen dan de conventionele concurrenten en de actieradius zal rond de 80 kilometer liggen. 

Toekomstige toepassingen van deze drone zullen liggen op het gebied van vrachtvervoer, ambulancediensten of taxivervoer. Airbus gaat door met testen en het is nog niet duidelijk hoelang het zal duren voordat je via een app een dergelijke drone kunt bestellen om bij je schoonmoeder op theevisite te gaan.

Britain’s most mysterious UFO sightings revealed for first time

Three eyewitness accounts of mysterious UFO sightings that have never been explained have emerged for the first time.

Never-before-heard reports describe the close encounters, all of which happened in the north of England in the 1980s.

 UFO researchers including investigator Philip Mantle looked into all three cases at the time – but they were left to lie on file as no explanation for them could be found.

While most sightings are quickly and easily identified by experts, the three cases left Mr Mantle ‘scratching his head’.

He said: ‘No aircraft, balloons or meteorological phenomenon could account for them and this is a time long before Chinese lanterns.

‘There are of course some similarities in these sightings the most notable one being the lack of any noise made by the objects. Whether this is relevant or significant is debateable but it’s a curiosity nonetheless.

‘The one thing that is for certain is that UFOs were the last thing on the mind of any of these witnesses prior to their observations.’

Over the span of eight minutes – an unusually long time for a UFO sighting – a woman claimed she saw a diamond-shaped object in the sky about 200-300 feet above her.

She told the researchers that she saw two round red lights as she walked to her car at 7.30pm, adding that there was no noise as the object moved through the air.

Describing the scene, she said: ‘I could not see the lights as it moved overhead but I could see the underneath of the object.

‘This object was very large and seemed to be very heavy looking. I kept wondering how something so big and heavy looking could move so slowly and not make a noise.

‘I kept watching and took in as much detail as I could. The object was huge and its underneath had what looked like round-headed studs.

‘The object moved overhead and I kept watching it until it was almost out of sight at which point it seemed to tilt upwards and shoot off at a great speed and was gone.’

A couple described seeing a ‘star-shaped’ object

John Stoddard and his family were about to leave the cottage where they had spent a holiday on New Year’s Eve, 1986.

He was gazing at the stars at 7.22am when he noticed one of the ‘stars’ moving – in the direction of the family from over hills in the distance.

By the time Mr Stoddard was joined by his wife – who also reported seeing the same object – it was just above some trees in a nearby field.

The couple described the object flying up to them at a low speed of about 5-10mph, and opening up into a giant triangle with white lights surrounding it.

Mr Stoddard, who said it was the size of a double-decker-bus, said both he and his wife were excited but also scared by what they saw.

The object moved slowly out of view of the family over the moors.

A dog walker saw these flying objects, before they disappeared after 10 seconds

A dog walker gave an extremely detailed description of unidentified objects of ‘tremendous’ size that flew through the night sky at more than 100mph.

John Doherty was on one of his late night dog walks at about 10pm when he first noticed shimmering lights in the distance, through broken clouds.

µHe claimed to have seen them passing in and out of the clouds, and said they may have been rotating, causing them to ‘shimmer’.

Mr Doherty added that each object had three bright lights on its underside, that were so powerful they shone through the clouds.

He watched them until they disappeared after about 10 seconds.
