Scientific paper asks: “Is the Moon the Creation of Alien Intelligence?”

In July of 1970, two Russian scientists, Mikhail Vasin and Alexander Shcherbakov, published an article in the Soviet journal Sputnik called “Is the Moon the Creation of Alien Intelligence?”

The theory proposed by the two experts offers arguments that would explain the countless enigmas surrounding the moon and its creation.

The moon is one of the most enigmatic objects in our solar system. The Moon’s existent is perfectly defined by Robin Brett, a scientist from NASA who stated that “It seems easier to explain the non-existence of the Moon than its existence.”

By publishing this article, they raised numerous questions about the moon and its formation which no other scientist at the time dared to ask.

Their article received heavy criticism, but they made their point when writing about the moon and its countless mysteries.

The Russian scientific duo proposed the theory that Earth’s Moon is not a natural satellite, but a planetoid that was literally hollowed out eons ago in the far reaches of the universe by super advanced intelligent beings possessing a technology far superior to ours, even today.

Shcherbakov and Vasin proposed that massive machines were used to melt rock and form long cavities within the Moon, spreading the molten refuse onto the lunar surface.

The advanced their theory by saying that the moon was preserved by a hull-like inner shell in addition to a reconstructed outer shell of metallic rocky junk, and eventually, this enormous craft was steered through the cosmos and finally put in orbit around our planet.

Some say this is a preposterous idea, but the two scientists made a point backed by scientific data.

Vasin and Shcerbakov state there are some lunar rocks that have been discovered to contain PROCESSED METALS such as Brass, the elements of Uranium 236 and Neptunium 237. These elements have NEVER been found to occur naturally.

However, somehow there are traces of them on the surface of Moon.

Uranium 236 for example, is a radioactive nuclear waste which is found in spent nuclear and reprocessed Uranium.

More interestingly, Neptunium 237 is a radioactive metallic element and a known by-product of nuclear reactors and the production of Plutonium.

In their article, Vasin and Shcherbakov write:

“Abandoning the traditional paths of ‘common sense,’ we have plunged into what may, at first sight, seem to be unbridled and irresponsible fantasy.”

“But the more minutely we go into all the knowledge gathered by man about the Moon, the more we are convinced that there is not a single fact to rule out our hypothesis. Not only that, but many things so far considered to be lunar enigmas are explainable in the light of this new theory.”

Interestingly, Dr. Farouk El Baz was quoted stating, “There are numerous undiscovered caverns believed to exist beneath the surface of the Moon. Several experiments have been flown to the Moon to see if these caverns were actually real.” Interestingly, the results of these experiments have never been made public.

Apollo 14 astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, while ridiculing the possibility of a hollow moon, admitted that because heavier materials were on the surface, it was possible that MASSIVE caverns exist within the Moon.

MIT’s Dr. Sean C. Solomon added to the mystery of the hollow Moon when he wrote, “The Lunar Orbiter experiments greatly improved our understanding of the Moon’s gravitational field… Presenting the frightening possibility that the Moon might be hollow.”

As outrageous as this moon theory might first seem, take a second and consider how this “unorthodox” model reconciles all of the mysteries of the Moon.

Bearing in consideration the explanation by Vasin and Shcherbakov, it would allow us to explain as to why the Moon gives evidence of being much older than our planet and perhaps even our solar system. It would also help explain why there are three distinct layers within the Moon, with the densest materials being located on the outside layer, exactly as one would expect when looking at the “hull” of a spacecraft.

Furthermore, the above could also explain why no sign of water has been found on the surface of our moon, yet we have found vast evidence it exists deep inside it.

This revolutionary theory would also explain the mystery behind Maria and mascons, what can be considered as the remnants of the machinery used to drill and create a hollow Moon.

The theory that our moon is in fact an artificial satellite could explain the weird—yet rhythmic “moonquakes.”

Interestingly, if the moon really is the result of advanced extraterrestrial “terraforming” than it would provide us with the solution to the long debated argument between the “hot moon” and “cold moon” suggesting experts were both right.

This means that our moon was originally a cold planetoid, which was artificially transformed into a spacecraft by means of artificially heating.

This theory could also help explain the contradictions over the question whether or not Earth satellite is in fact a hollow moon.

If Earth’s Moon was originally a solid planetoid which was artificially hollowed out eons ago, we’d probably have found evidence of both phases—which is precisely what we have with our current Moon knowledge.

Even Isaac Asimov—an American writer and professor of biochemistry at Boston University. He was known for his works of science fiction, and popular science was fascinated by the enigmas surrounding the moon.

Asimov wrote about the moon and how he believed it may have been “captured” and put into position: “It’s simply too large to have been captured by the Earth. The chances of such a capture having been effected and the Moon then having taken up nearly circular orbit around our Earth are too small to make such an eventuality credible.”

And Asimov was right to consider the Moon’s orbit—not only is it a nearly perfect circle but a stationary one, meaning that one side always faces the Earth with only the slightest variation. As far as we are aware, this s the only natural satellite which possesses such an awkward orbit.

Some of them appear to be geometrically interconnected.

These strange places were plotted by biologist and writer Ivan T. Sanderson, the founder of the Society for the Investigation of the Unexplained and curiously, one of Charles Fort’s earliest followers.

Sanderson wrote about Earth’s vortices in 1972, in a piece for Saga magazine entitled The Twelve Devil’s Graveyards Around the World in which he plotted the disappearance of ships and planes on a global scale, pointing out 12 areas on Earth that stood out in particular.

Although some of them might be less famous than others, nearly all of them are characterized by magnetic anomalies and abnormal phenomenon.

What is perhaps the most important thing, ten of the vortices plotted by Sanderson are located in tropical climates. Furthermore, five vortices can be found along the Tropic of Cancer, while five others are located along the Tropic of Capricorn.

Two more vortices are found at Earth’s North and South Poles.

• The North Pole
• The South Pole
• Karachi—the home of the ancient city of Mohenjo-Daro. It is considered as one of the earliest major cities on Earth and it’s the area where according to numerous authors and researchers we find ground zero for the detonation of ancient nuclear weapons.
• Hamakulia, located east of Hawaii. It is an area where according to some researchers was once home to a high-energy volcano
• Devil’s Sea, south of Tokyo. This area is known for disappearances of ships and airplanes.
• The Wharton Basin—an area on Earth with great depths and largely unexplored.
• New Hebrides Trench, located between the islands of Vanuatu and New Caledonia. Its deepest point is believed to reach over 25,000 feet (7,600 meters). Who knows what’s down there!
• The Megalithic Ruins of Algeria, located just south of the city of Timbuktu.
• The South Atlantic Anomaly. An area where according to researchers, the innermost Van Allen radiation belt dips extremely close to the Earth’s surface, one of the possibilities why the region is so anomalous.
• The megaliths of Zimbabwe. Home to supermassive stone structures. They are located near an area of the Sahara desert where mysterious plane disappearances occur.

Sanderson believed that the anomalous activity surrounding these areas may be due to electromagnetic disturbances caused by the flow of hot and cold air.

As you can see, mystery connects all of the above-mentioned vortices. According to author and researcher David Hatcher Childress, “we are speaking about an intelligent geometric pattern into which, theoretically, the Earth and its energies are organized—and possibly in which the ubiquitous megalithic sites are also positioned.”

Scientists find 121 giant planets that might host habitable moons

While we’re all thinking of finding alien life on other planets, scientists are looking for life on alien moons.

When humans first thought about extraterrestrial life, they thought of places like the Moon or Venus. Modern studies quickly showed that those places are currently uninhabitable, so alien life projections started focusing on Mars. Mars was potentially habitable in the past, but not so much now. Instead, the most likely places in our solar system to host life (outside of Earth) are frozen moons like Europa.

Even though satellites like Europa are frozen on the surface, the stress and friction from their planet’s gravitational pull generate great heat beneath the surface, and astronomers estimate that these places host liquid oceans beneath the surface — liquid water where life can develop. So this type of frozen moon around giant planets are quite interesting for astronomers, which is why this finding is so important.

In a paper forthcoming in The Astrophysical Journal, researchers at the University of California, Riverside, and the University of Southern Queensland have identified more than 100 giant planets that might host this type of moon, by scouring through data from the Kepler telescope. To make matters even more attractive, all these giant planets have orbits in the so-called habitable zone — not too close, and not too far from their parent star.

“There are currently 175 known moons orbiting the eight planets in our solar system. While most of these moons orbit Saturn and Jupiter, which are outside the Sun’s habitable zone, that may not be the case in other solar systems,” said Stephen Kane, an associate professor of planetary astrophysics and a member of the UCR’s Alternative Earths Astrobiology Center. “Including rocky exomoons in our search for life in space will greatly expand the places we can look.”

Researchers have only found the planets themselves and have no direct information about any potential moons. However, from what we’ve seen in our own solar system, this type of planet does tend to have several moons.

Scientists speculate that if they do exist, some of these moons may be prime areas to look for extraterrestrial life because they get energy not only from their parent star but also from their parent planet.

This will help scientists develop new, better telescopes, that could look for potential biological signatures on these moons — yet another stepping stone on our long search for alien life.

“Our follow-up studies will help inform future telescope design so that we can detect these moons, study their properties, and look for signs of life,” said Michelle Hill, an undergraduate student at the University of Southern Queensland who is working with Kane and will join UCR’s graduate program in the fall.

The wisdom of Stephen Hawking won’t just live on in memory, but will be beamed into a black hole so that it might exist in other capacities or be destroyed immediately — depending on which theorist you ask.

The ashes of the late physicist, who died March 14 at the age of 76, will be buried between the remains of Charles Darwin and Isaac Newton following a Friday memorial service. While his physical remains will be earth-bound between two other renowned scientists, his voice will be blasted 3,000 light years away to binary system 1A 0620-00, the nearest black hole to Earth. The recording, set to an original piece of music by the Greek composer Vangelis, will be broadcast into the binary system and serve not just as moving tribute, but as an interesting thought experiment.

Some of Hawking’s most important work explored the nature of black holes. In 1974, he famously presented how black holes emit radiation, which was contrary to belief at the time. Hawking’s final interview offered new insight on the creation of black holes after studying the gravitational waves formed by the merging of neutron stars, a possible way black hole are formed.

According to Hawking, if a particle falls into a black hole, the black hole will lose a bit of mass in the form of energy. Black holes radiate small amounts of energy and evaporate over time. Logically, if something falls into a black hole, it will be lost. This creates the information paradox. Scientists still aren’t sure if information inside a black hole is preserved or lost forever, but a recording of Hawking’s voice, much like his work, could one day help carry that research forward.

Physicists continue to search for evidence of “Hawking radiation,” a theoretical type of energy that is thought to radiate from black holes as a result of quantum effects. Finding evidence of this would help scientists decide whether black holes truly destroy all information within them, including the recording of Hawking’s voice after it’s beamed into 1A 0620-00 on Friday.

According to his daughter, Lucy Hawking, the space delivery is “beautiful and symbolic gesture that creates a link between our father’s presence on this planet, his wish to go into space and his explorations of the universe in his mind.” Even if we never hear that recording emitted from a black hole again, it’s only fitting that Hawking shall be remembered through a new experiment without an end in sight.µ

Scientists Find Genetically ‘Different’ Humans Adapted For Diving

A recent study published in the Journal cell describes how a certain population of humans has genetically adapted to dive underwater.

Experts describe a population that has remarkably larger organs, which help them stay underwater for greater periods of time.

This isn’t the first time that experts have found genetic mutations in humans.

The more we peer into our genes, the more we discover how people from around the world have adapted to their surroundings, making them remarkably unique in a number of ways.

For example, people in Tibet and the Ethiopian highlands have ‘evolved’ to better adapt to living at extremely high altitudes.

People in East Africa and Northern Europe have adopted a genetic mutation that allows them to better digest milk as adults.

And now, scientists reported a new type of genetic mutation different from the above-mentioned in sea-dwelling people in Southeastern Asia.

This genetic mutation allows them to become exceptional divers.

According to experts, the Bajau people, who are scattered in several communities across Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines have evolved to longer survive underwater.

These people traditionally live on houseboats, reports the New York Times.

NASA Releases 4K Video Of The Moon Ending The Moon Landing Conspiracy

NASA has just released a 4K video tour of Earth’s moon and the footage will make your jaw drop.

Even though Earth’s moon can be viewed in unprecedented detail from Earth, NASA has recently released a video filmed in 4k showing off the surface of the moon in unprecedented close-up detail, and the video will definitely take your breath away.

How can we describe the video footage?

Well, it’s stunning. It’s mesmerizing. It’s Fresh. It offers an entirely new way of exploring the surface of the moon, and you can see all of the most important and prominent features of the Earth’s satellite in the stunning video footage.

The footage dubbed as “virtual tour of the moon” in breathtaking 4K has been collected by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft over a span of nine years.

“The tour visits a number of interesting sites chosen to illustrate a variety of lunar terrain features,” Ernie Wright of NASA’s Space Visualization Studio explained in a blog post. “Some are on the near side and are familiar to both professional and amateur observers on Earth, while others can only be seen clearly from space.”

Wright explains that this recently published video is, in fact, an updated version of another one released 7 years ago, in 2011.

Despite the fact that the camera path may be the same, the data that has been gathered in 7 years has made it possible for NASA to create a far more incredible and detailed presentation of the moon.

The recently released 4k video displays a number of the moon’s features, combining colors that highlight important or noteworthy data to make sure you not only enjoy the view but learn something new.

One of the most interesting parts of the video is when we have the chance to fly over the Tycho Crater, a lunar formation said to be around 100 million years old.

The most interesting part occurs when you think you’ve seen the best part, the video zooms in unprecedently, focusing on Tycho Crater’s mesmerizing central peak which features an enigmatic 100-meter-wide bolder at the summit, “the origins of which are still a mystery,” the video’s narrator says, adding to the suspense.

In addition to the Tycho crater, you can also fly above the Apollo 17 landing site at the Taurus-Littrow Valley, which as explained in the video, is deeper than the Grand Canyon on Earth.

So, the end of the Moon landing conspiracy…right? 

I wonder, does that make the Taurus-Littrow Valley the ‘Grander Canyon’?

Anyway, while exploring the Apollo 17 landing site, the video offers a few overlays that show us the path NASA astronauts took as they spent three days on the surface of the moon in 1972.

You can appreciate the bottom half of the mission’s lunar lander and rover vehicle, items that have remained untouched and undisturbed for the last 46 years.

October 27, 1954–The Day A UFO Stopped a Football Game

As fascinating as it may sound, it’s true.

The ‘event’ happened in Florence, Italy, on October 27, 1954.

In October of 1954, a match involving the Italian team Fiorentina was interrupted by mysterious visitors hovering above the stadium. The Fiorentina UFOs were part of a wave of mass-sightings across Europe – and it remains a mystery to this day.

On that occasion one of the most massive UFO sightings in history took place: around 10 thousand people who were in theArtemio Franchi stadium watching the encounter between Fiorentina and Pistoiese witnessed the appearance of unidentified flying objects in the skies above the stadium.

Eventually, the match had to be suspended “because the spectators saw something in the sky” according to the official report of the match referee.

According to the testimony of one of the players present in that match, defender Ardico Magnini, who was something of a legend at the club and had played for Italy at the 1954 World Cup.

“I remember everything from A to Z,” he says. “It was something that looked like an egg that was moving slowly, slowly, slowly. Everyone was looking up and also there was some glitter coming down from the sky, silver glitter.

“We were astonished we had never seen anything like it before. We were absolutely shocked.”

He also remembered that a strange sticky and shiny material fell on the ground.

Other testimonies relate the presence not of one but of several strange objects in the sky.

La Nazione’s headline reads: Glass fibers fall on Tuscan cities after globes and flying saucers pass by. Lower headline: The sighting over Florence (with a photograph, now lost, of the UFO).

In the following days, numerous other UFO sightings were recorded in the towns near the stadium.

That unknown substance did not only fall on the court, but it covered a good part of Florence before evaporating.

Those who came into contact with this material describe it as similar to cotton but ungraspable as it disintegrated on contact.

An explanation, rare but scientific, of this phenomenon, arrived many years later: it could have been large networks of connected webs, which appeared in the sky as globes, shining by the reflection of the Sun since that is how spiders migrate.

Curiously, October coincides with the time of migration of the northern hemisphere spiders.

However, the material found simultaneously with the appearance of UFOs was analyzed in the laboratory and the elements found do not coincide with those that are part of spider webs.

Therefore, until this day, whatever the spectators and players saw floating above the Artemio Franchi stadium remains a profound mystery, and one of the best documented UFO cases in history.

The “Solway Firth Spaceman”—One Of The Most Inexplicable Images Ever Taken

More than 50 years ago, more precisely in May of 1964, a man called Jim Templeton snapped an image that would soon become one of the most mysterious images ever photographed.

In May of 1964, Jim Templeton, his wife, and daughter spent the day at the Solway Fjord in northwest England.

Jim was a photography enthusiast, and like all new parents, his main motivation was his daughter Elizabeth, five years old at the time.

That afternoon he took three photos, and when he went to reveal them, he found that the best picture of his daughter had been ruined because someone had appeared walking behind.

The only problem was, there was no one there.

Who or what is the mysterious figure behind Jim Templeton’s daughter?

Jim was entirely sure that the three of them were alone that day. So, who or what was the mysterious figure seen behind his daughter?

The curious photograph was published in a local newspaper in Cumberland on June 12 of that same year, and the next day, it was also picked up by the Daily Mirror and Daily Express.

As expected, it soon attracted the attention of all kinds of curious people, ufologists, and paranormal investigators who were trying to solve the mystery surrounding the photograph.

Following the publication of the image in various newspapers, a number of different theories were proposed. However, none of them seemed to satisfy.

One of the strangest theories proposed had Aliens written all over it.

One theory suggested that an alien spacecraft had landed near them and that both the ship itself and the aliens were protected by some sort of cloaking device, which made them imperceptible to human eyes but not to the camera.

The Alien theory developed and quickly turned into a conspiracy theory.

Some reports suggest that soon after the image was published in newspapers, Mr. Templeton was visited by the mysterious Men in Black, who asked him to take them to the exact area where the events took place.

Templeton explained later that the two men who had visited him refused to show their identification and that “They said they worked for the government and that they were only identified by number.”

After taking the men to the site where the photographs were taken, Templeton said that when he explained he had not seen the figure at the time, the men became angry and drove away, leaving him to walk home.

In September 1964, Templeton dismissed the two men as frauds, saying: “It all looks like a leg pull to me. I’m sure the men were not security agents.”

Trying to solve the mystery, Jim took the photograph and the negative to Kodak, so they could check the original had been manipulated in any way or contained a photographic error of some sort.

However, all attempts to explain the mystery figure were in vain, and tests showed that the photograph was authentic, and had not been manipulated.

The photographic company even offered a prize of free movies for life to that person who managed to prove otherwise.

Let it be known, the prize has not been claimed, but more than fifty years after the event took place, a few people remain interested in this mystery.

In 2014, UFO author David Clarke explained that the mysterious figure standing behind Jim’s daughter was most likely Templeton’s wife, Annie, who was present at the time and was seen on other photographs that were taken that day.

Some claim the mysterious figure was Jim Templeton’s wife, Annie.

“I think for some reason his wife walked into the shot, and he didn’t see her because with that particular make of camera you could only see 70% of what was in the shot through the viewfinder”, said Clarke. Annie Templeton was wearing a pale blue dress on the day in question, which was overexposed as white in the other photos; she also had dark bobbed hair. It has been argued that, when using photo software to darken the image and straighten the horizon, the figure increasingly appears to be a regular person viewed from behind. Of its impact, Clarke said: “People will still be talking about it in another 50 years.”

Did NASA’s Apollo 17 Mission Really Spot A Pyramid On The Moon?

An image snapped by NASA’s Apollo 17 astronauts has created controversy among Ufologists. According to claims, the image cataloged as AS17-135-20680HR shows what many believe is a Pyramid on the lunar surface.

But… Long story short?

No, they did not, but the image is evidence of how easily we can be tricked into seeing things that aren’t really there, or how our mind identified familiar patterns.

Some say these ancient monuments were built as tombs, others say they were erected to pay tribute to the gods. But the real reason why there are thousands of pyramids on Earth remains a mystery.

And while pyramids on Earth remain a hotly debated subject, finding pyramids on another planet or moon goes beyond reason, venturing out into what many call a massive conspiracy.

Thanks to the various space programs, we have explored our neighboring planets and moons like never before.

But it all started with NASA’s Apollo missions.

The Apollo Program was a manned space program developed by the United States in the 1960s in the framework of the space race with the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

The project began in July 1960, when the US space agency NASA announced it, as a continuation of the Mercury missions. Apollo ran from 1961 to 1972, with the first manned flight in 1968.

The Apollo 17 mission, which lasted from December 7-19 marked the end of manned lunar exploration. The mission was characterized by being the only Saturn V night launch. The crew landed in Taurus-Littrow, and it was the final manned Moon landing. Surface EVA time: 22:02 hours, after which astronauts returned 110.40 kg of samples back to Earth.

However, the Apollo 17 mission was also marked by another peculiar occurrence.

While digging through some of the images made available to the public, UFO hunters came across an image cataloged as AS17-135-20680HR.

This image at first glance might not draw your attention, but upon closer examination, you will notice a triangle shaped object hiding in the background, which has led UFOlogists and UFO hunters to ask, what exactly did the Apollo 17 mission photograph on the moon? Is this image the result of a camera malfunction, Parts of the Rover? Or is there perhaps, a structure on the moon?

We decided to investigate a bit more and examined the image further and as we played around with the contrast and brightness of the image we managed to get some pretty nice results that helped us see this object in a better way. And despite the fact that after cleaning the image up a bit we do get a ‘pyramid-shaped structure,’ the truth is that it’s not really a pyramid, and there a couple reasons as to why.

The image in question: AS17-135-20680HR. The result? A blurry image with a strange shape in the middle. Pyramid you say? I beg to differ.

Notice the Pyramid/triangle shaped object at the center of the image.

Verdict? The curious pyramid-like shape we see in the image is, in fact, the result of low-quality images snapped by astronauts. Position, light, and angle, all played an important role in obtaining a curious image that some have interpreted as a Pyramid on the moon when actually the only thing the astronauts snapped was the LVR under peculiar light conditions.

Note that Images labeled “OF300” are from the original film and are presented at the equivalent of 300 DPI on a 7.5-inch by 7.5-inch reproduction.

So, while there may certainly be peculiar things on the moon, structures that we may not be able to explain, these images snapped by Apollo 17 astronauts are not one of them.

Has Someone Really Discovered A 500,000-Year-Old Artifact In California?

On February 13, 1961, Wallace Lane, Virginia Maxey and Mike Mikesell were searching for interesting specimens of minerals, specifically geodes, for their gift shop in Olancha, California.

Their geodes search took them approximately 6 kilometers northeast of Olancha, about 4300 feet to the Coso Mountains near the dry bed of Owens Lake, where they were collecting samples.

They returned to the shop with several geodes.

But one of them had 500,000 reasons to be dubbed as the discovery of a lifetime.

The next day Mike Mikesell broke a blade while cutting what he thought was a geode, inside the object that he was cutting, Mikesell found anything but the typical cavity geodes usually has, to his surprise, he discovered a perfectly circular section of a hard white material that looked like porcelain. In the center of the porcelain cylinder axis was a 2 mm shiny metal. The metal shaft seemed like a magnet but there were other strange qualities in the object. The surface was very rough and it appeared as if it was coated with fossilized shells.

In addition to these strange deposits, he also found two nonmagnetic metallic objects embedded in the crust, which seemed like a metallic nail and a packing ring. As Mike Mikesell was analyzing the object, it seemed to get even stranger. The inner layer was hexagonal and seemed to form a shell around the cylinder of hard porcelain. On the inside, a layer of very deteriorated copper surrounded the porcelain cylinder.

Very little is known about the first inspections of this mysterious artifact. According to Virginia Maxey, they consulted a geologist who asked to remain unknown, according to this mysterious geologist who examined the fossil shells embedded in the sample, the piece would have taken at least 500,000 years to reach its current form. So what is a spark plug doing inside an artifact dating at least half a million years?

The object was submitted to further testing that confirmed the anomalies of the object as the artifact was submitted to both X-rays and visible light testing. X-rays revealed that in the upper half of the device there was some sort of coil. In the other half of the artifact revealed what seemed a metal sleeve, presumably the copper covering the porcelain cylinder.

In 1963, the strange object that was dubbed “The Coso Artifact” and was exhibited at the Museum of East California in the town of Independence for a period of three months. Then, for years it was exhibited in the home of Wallace Lane, one of the original three discoverers of the 500 thousand-year-old artifact. In 1969 Wallace Lane received an offer of $25,000 for the mysterious object but he refused to sell it.

The Coso Artifact remains a mystery. It is an object that appears to be lost as many other artifacts discovered in the past that have provided us with not only subjects to talk about, but with new challenges for history books. Who built the artifact, and what its purpose was will probably remain a mystery less the object is found, once again, so that other researchers might analyze it thoroughly.

“THERE’S NO SIGN OF E.T. OR UFO COVER-UP”, WHITE HOUSE SAYS

The White House has responded to two petitions asking the US government to formally acknowledge that aliens have visited Earth and to disclose to any intentional withholding of government interactions with extraterrestrial beings. “The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race,” said Phil Larson from the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy, on the WhiteHouse.gov website. “In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye.”

“Thank you for signing the petition asking the Obama Administration to acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence here on Earth. The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye. However, that doesn’t mean the subject of life outside our planet isn’t being discussed or explored. In fact, there are a number of projects working toward the goal of understanding if life can or does exist off Earth.”

5,387 people had signed the petition for immediately disclosing the government’s knowledge of and communications with extraterrestrial beings, and 12,078 signed the request for a formal acknowledgement from the White House that extraterrestrials have been engaging the human race.

“Hundreds of military and government agency witnesses have come forward with testimony confirming this extraterrestrial presence,” the second petition states. “Opinion polls now indicate more than 50% of the American people believe there is an extraterrestrial presence and more than 80% believe the government is not telling the truth about this phenomenon. The people have a right to know. The people can handle the truth.”

These petitions come from an Obama Administration initiative called ‘We the People’ which has White House staffers respond and consider taking action on any issue that receives at least 25,000 online signatures. Regarding these two petitions, the White House promised to respond if the petitions got 17,000 or more signatures by Oct. 22.

Larson stressed that the facts show that there is no credible evidence of extraterrestrial presence here on Earth. He pointed out that even though many scientists have come to the conclusion that the odds of life somewhere else in the Universe are fairly high, the chance that any of them are making contact with humans are extremely small, given the distances involved.

But that doesn’t mean we aren’t searching, there is just no evidence yet. Larson mentioned SETI (correctly noting that this at first was a NASA effort, but is now funded privately) keeping an “ear” out for signals from any intelligent extraterrestrials, with none found so far. He also added that the Kepler spacecraft is searching for Earth-like planets in the habitable zones around other stars, and that the Curiosity rover will launch to Mars this month to “assess what the Martian environment was like in the past to see if it could have harbored life.”

Regarding any evidence for alien life, all anyone has now is “statistics and speculation,” said Larson. “The fact is we have no credible evidence of extraterrestrial presence here on Earth.”

Whether or not this will appease or satisfy any conspiracy theorists or UFO believers is yet to be seen, but it is gratifying to see the White House respond in such a no-nonsense manner.

UPDATE: The Paradigm Research Group, one of the organizations sponsoring the petitions, has issued a statement saying, “As expected it was written by a low level staffer from the Office of Science and Technology Policy – research assistant Phil Larson. The response was unacceptable.”

Some people might say that living in Hawaii is a gift in itself. While it’s a gift from Kilauea in Hawaii, those who can’t afford a trip there might try Norway, where 50 % of the world’s industrial olivine in mined. In fact, olivine is a fairly common mineral on and in the ground, but separate large crystals falling from the sky is pretty unusual, according to minerals.net.

“Despite this, good specimens and large crystals are uncommon and sought after. Only few localities yield large examples of this mineral, although small and microscopic grains are found worldwide. Olivine is also found in meteorites, and large grains have been reported in many of them.”

Popular Mechanics reports that the falling crystals over Kilauea are inside the lava erupting into the sky. As the lava cools, it hardens into pumice — that porous rock commonly used as an abrasive for pedicures and in the production of stone-washed jeans. (Pele must be so proud.) Being full of holes and fairly lightweight, the pumice falls slowly, allowing the olivine crystals to drop out of the holes and fall separately.

Are these falling olivine stones really a gift from Pele? Possibly. Depending on the quality and size, it’s used as a gemstone called peridot or chrysolithe. However, it may actually be a present to the entire world. Olivine grains can be used to sequester or store atmospheric carbon dioxide, the nastiest of the greenhouse gasses, and slow down global warming by breaking down the CO2 as it weathers.

Sending the olivine rain to save the planet may be Pele’s real message to humanity … as long as humanity leaves the stones in Hawaii. It’s illegal to remove the gems – whether jewelry-sized or the sandy crystals that make up Hawaii’s green beaches. It would be just your luck to get caught picking up a peridot and placed in a jail that is suddenly in the path of a fast-moving lava flow just as the jailer loses the key to your cell.

Around four and a half billion years ago, a giant cloud of gaseous matter in our neck of space began to come together thanks to the gravitational attraction between matter. Over billions of years, this matter began to form our Sun, the planets, and all of the other various bodies that make up our Solar System. At least that’s how the nebular hypothesis, as it’s known, describes the origins of our cosmic home. That hypothesis was first put forward in the 18th century by Swedish philosopher Emanuel Swedenborg and is still considered to be the best working theory we have as to how all the stuff out there in space came to be after the Big Bang – or whatever may have put it there.

That nebular hypothesis is backed up by our modern observations of how matter behaves and bodies form in space, but it’s rare that scientists are ever given concrete evidence of this early stage of our Solar System’s formation. However, a groundbreaking new study claims to have finally discovered a piece of the matter that would eventually form our Solar System. A high-altitude NASA aircraft collected a cometary interplanetary dust particle floating around in the stratosphere, and researchers believe this particle could be among the very first solid particles of matter in our Solar System. Is this a glimpse into the “star stuff” we’re all made of?

The research was led by University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa School scientist Hope Ishii. Using transmission electron microscopy, Ishii and her team found that the chemical composition of this particle formed in the cold, radiation-rich nebula which would eventually become our Solar System:

Our observations suggest that these exotic grains represent surviving pre-solar interstellar dust that formed the very building blocks of planets and stars. If we have at our fingertips the starting materials of planet formation from 4.6 billion years ago, that is thrilling and makes possible a deeper understanding of the processes that formed and have since altered them. This is an example of research that seeks to satisfy the human urge to understand our world’s origins.

Could a study of these early particles actually reveal much about our cosmic origins, though? Sure, discovering early solid particles is a fascinating glimpse into the early Solar System, but many people (myself included) aren’t content with understanding the chemical and physical mechanics of how gaseous matter eventually accreted into planets. Where did those gases come from? What caused the Big Bang? Why don’t hot dogs and hot dog buns come in packages of equal quantity?

The real higher mysteries.

Ultimately, we might never be able to get to the bottom of these deeper questions, no matter how many specks of unbelievably ancient stardust we find. Still, it’s a start.

Strange appearances in the sky continue. The video below shows some of these strange sky phenomena that have been photographed in the past few days.

One person captured a strange cloud formation that looks like a cityscape' a phenomenon that has been photographed before and looks like a hologram.

Another person caught an odd black rectangular sky beam with a bluish oval ring on top and a third person has photographed something that most closely resembles a ring-shaped disk or portal.

Is this ring-shaped disk a cloaked UFO or military craft that uses military cloaking techniques or could it be a portal to another dimension?

The Planetary Grid, Ancient Monuments, and how it is all Connected

The ‘Planetary Grid’ hypothesis is a modern concept which suggests that the Earth is surrounded by an invisible network of energy, carried around the globe by a kind of ‘geometric highway’ known as Ley-Lines.

These geometric lines meet at various intersecting points forming a powerful grid (see attachment).

What makes the theory so compelling is the number of sacred sites which run in alignment to these energy lines.

This includes many of the Earths major heritage sites such as the pyramids of Giza, the Prang temple, and Stonehenge.

The four types of sacred architecture which appear across these Ley lines are:

• Tombs: Marhoj Burial mound, Pyramid of Khufu, Janggun Chong
• Temples: Ziggurat of Ur, Prang pyramid, Tikal Temple
• Monuments: Stonehenge, La Puerta de Hayu Marka
• Shrines: Giant Buddha of Leshan, Moai Statues

The hypothesis raises several important questions:

• How did out ancestors know about the existence of this hypothetical energy grid?
• What was the interconnected purpose of these world monuments?
• And finally, what has become of this energy field today?

The only insight I can offer is that in one way or another, all these shrines and monuments are connected to the realms of the Gods (e.g. the heavens, the underworld and other legendary dimensions). With no current proof to support the planetary grid hypothesis, we can only speculate as to what this incredible alignment was really about.

VIDEO - VERY RARE FOOTAGE OF THE HELGIUM UFO WAVE OF 1989

This clip of a flying triangular object in the Belgian skies is one of the best and rarest UFO video footage out there.

This video footage is so rare that it is hard to find on the Internet. The UFO with the 3 light was filmed during the popular UFO flap in 1989.

It is only the footage of the object with the three triangular lights that is interesting. Even the military did not know what this was. There was radar confirmation by multiple sources of these objects and outmaneuvered any human-made airplane at that time.

At its peak, it saw objects being tracked on radar, fighter jets scrambled and over 2,500 written reports submitted by witnesses, but 24 years later no concrete explanation has been forthcoming regarding what has become known as the Belgian UFO Wave of 1989/1990. Despite this lack of explanation, many claim that the events in Belgium remain one of the best documented cases of UFO activity in recent history. Are these claims warranted or is this a case of UFO believers littering investigations with misleading information?

Though it spanned a number of months between the Fall of 1989 and Spring of 1990, the Belgian UFO wave, as many know it, centered around the events of March 30-31 1990. It was on this night that reports were made of three strange lights in the sky some 50km south of Belgium’s capital, Brussels. The first of these reports were received by the nation’s Control Reporting Center in Glons, which monitors radar signatures across the region’s airspace. The reports all consistently stated the same details. The lights were fixed in a triangular formation and were changing color at a rapid pace. When the reports started mounting up, the CRC requested that the local Gendarmerie – which back then was a paramilitary police force – send a team out to investigate.

At around 11:30pm, 30 minutes after the initial reports started coming in, the paramilitary police radioed in with visual confirmation of the lights. This visual confirmation was corroborated by the appearance of an object on CRC radar screens. In hope of finding an explanation, air traffic control authorities were soon contacted, but they were unable to account for the appearance of the object on radar. Within the next 30 minutes, just 1 hour after initial reports, a second group of lights had been confirmed and authorization was given to scramble to F-16 fighter jets for an intercept mission. To the bewilderment of Belgian authorities, these jets would make a number separate attempts to intercept the triangular light formations; every single attempt would fail. During the jet pursuit, the pilots made brief radar contact on a number of occasions, however, not once were they able to confirm visual contact with either of the objects.

By the time morning had broken on March 31st, authorities were left with hundreds of sightings reports that would soon become thousands. The statement from the Gendarmerie detailed a square light formation, whereas almost all of the earlier reports described the formation as triangular. Reports from the pilots that pursued the objects declared that they were moving so fast they could not possibly be human. Indeed, radar signatures suggested that at one point, the object was able to move from an elevation in excess of 15,000ft to just 500 ft in a matter of seconds.

These exciting events in the air were largely corroborated by reports from witnesses on the ground, of which there are rumored to have been as many as 13,000. With so many witnesses, one would expect countless items of photographic and video evidence to surface. Mysteriously though, such evidence has been in incredibly short supply over the last twenty years.

Media outlets soon started clamouring for something to show for the reports, but the few photos that were forthcoming were too blurry, a fact that would not be surprising given the alarming speed the objects were reportedly travelling at. When a witness by the name of ‘Patrick’ submitted his photo seen here, it became the poster child for the four month-long series of events that had captivated vast swathes of the Belgian populace. For years this photo was scrutinized by sceptics and UFO organizations alike, with the majority of parties categorized in the latter holding it up as proof that the Belgian UFO wave was an extraterrestrial event.

However, in 2011 the man behind the camera confessed that his image, the image that had become one of the most iconic photos in modern UFO history, was a hoax. The Belgian news channel RTL broke the news with a statement from the mysterious ‘Patrick’ that essentially said it was just time to come clean. The news was met with understandably mixed reactions. Many Ufologists, such as the head of Belgian UFO organization SOBEPS, claimed conspiracy, arguing that Patrick had been forced to claim his photo was a hoax, while the sceptics saw the confession as vindication for their stance.

By the end of 1991, the Petit-Rechain photo had become an icon of a new type of UFO: the Flying Triangle (or simply "FT" as ufologists like to call them). Despite the copyright and a substantial fee charged to use it, the photo ranks among the most published UFO photos ever. Endorsed by scientists and military officials, the slide acquired the best status possible in the field.

CAELESTIA Triangles over Belgium (addendum)

So with the 24th anniversary of the events approaching this weekend, the Belgian UFO wave remains as mysterious today as it was in 1990. It is an event that has stirred many an argument, with sceptical parties claiming it was a case of mass delusion sparked by media reports and heightened by extravagant coverage by UFO organizations. Others simply claim that the mass delusion argument is flawed by the presence of the objects on radar screens. While the lack of photographic evidence is used to support the sceptical argument, many on the other side of the fence claim that in 1990, not everyone was walking around with a camera in their pocket. But this was 1990, not 1890. Camcorders had been rising in popularity since the 1980’s and home videos were common among many families. So with this in mind, it does seem strange that more people weren’t able to get a decent shot at these objects that reportedly buzzed the Belgian skies for over 2 hours.

One thing is for sure. The events in Belgium over the late 1980’s and early 1990’s will continue to be a battleground for the fight between UFO believers and sceptics, for years to come.

New Film Tells the Story of George Van Tassel and His UFO-Inspired “Integratron”

In the 1950s, the Mojave Desert was mecca for believers in extraterrestrial visitors.

Are we witnessing a renewal of interest in unidentified flying objects? Recent revelations about a secret Defense Department project for studying UFOs continue to draw media attention, while reports of unusual aircraft sightings show up regularly in the news.

After the war Van Tassel purchased the land around Giant Rock and moved there with his wife Dorris and their three daughters. In addition to operating a small airport, he began to hold meditation readings for groups of 25 to 45 people—and for the first time reported hearing disembodied voices.

Then, beginning in 1952, Van Tassel claimed he started having encounters with spacemen. At first, he said, these beings issued warnings of looming destruction along with messages of universal peace. But soon, according to Van Tassel, they began instructing him on how to construct a building that could reverse the aging process. Dubbed the Integratron, the project would consume Van Tassel for years, although he never finished it.

He did, however, hold annual conventions at Giant Rock, where those interested in UFOs, alien contact, and the paranormal gathered to hear talks and exchange experiences. At its height, as many as 11,000 people attended these gatherings, by some accounts.

Calling All Earthlings covers these historic events, and updates the story by taking us to Giant Rock today. Berman introduces us to Van Tassel admirers and former friends who have carried on his legacy by partly reconstructing the Integratron.

Asked what drew him to the topic, the filmmaker says, “I came upon this subject as I was breezing through a great book of photos by Michael Rauner with text by Erik Davis—The Visionary State: A Journey Through California’s Spiritual Landscape. There was a picture of the Integratron in there that caught my eye.”

Van Tassel’s story had “all the things I love,” Berman says, “weird, geeky quasi-science, living longer and better, and, of course, the world of the Great American Roadside Attraction.” As a native of Long Island, the filmmaker was struck by the magical allure that California and the desert has for so many. In the end, he hopes the film captures some of the sense of adventure that brings people to places like Giant Rock, where, he says, “there are still no sidewalks and the mystery dome still sits there waiting to inspire the next person.”

New analysis reveals that Ceres’ spots harbor a lot of organic material

New research shows Ceres’ surface is dotted with organic matter — much more of it that we’ve previously realized. The findings raise questions regarding how this material came to be, and why it concentrates in patches.

There seems to be more to the organic material the Dawn craft discovered on Ceres last year than we initially thought. The patches of carbon-based compounds may contain a much higher abundance of organic matter than initial analysis revealed, according to a new analysis from Brown University.

Organic, free-range Ceres

“What this paper shows is that you can get really different results depending upon the type of organic material you use to compare with and interpret the Ceres data,” said Hannah Kaplan, lead researcher of the study. “That’s important not only for Ceres, but also for missions that will soon explore asteroids that may also contain organic material.”

The discovery of these organic patches on Ceres last year was made using the Visible and Infrared (VIR) Spectrometer on the Dawn spacecraft, which has been in orbit of the dwarf planet since 2015. The finding was met with enthusiasm at NASA and beyond: organic molecules are, after all, the building blocks of life. So, scientists are understandably keen on finding out how such matter is distributed on planets other than our own. The presence of these compounds on Ceres isn’t proof that there was once life on this bit of rock. However, it definitely increases the odds. Factor in that Ceres also boasts a sizeable stash of water ice, another fundamental requirement for life as we know it, and you get quite the exciting place.

The picture may get even better, however. Dawn’s VIR instrument analyzed the patches on Ceres’ surface using the way its surface interacts with incoming light. By looking at what wavelengths these patches reflected and absorbed, ground control could estimate their chemical makeup. In the region of Ernutet Crater (Ceres’ northern hemisphere), Dawn picked up signals consistent with organic molecules. Next, NASA needed to know just how much organic material they had found — so they compared the VIR data to similar readings performed on samples of organic material from Earth. Based on this comparison, they concluded that Ceres’ spots comprised roughly 10% organic matter.

Kaplan and her team, however, weren’t satisfied with the reference standard NASA used — so they re-did the comparison using a different one. Instead of using Earth-borne rocks, they used samples of carbonaceous chondrite meteorites. Previous analysis of such space rocks that fell to Earth revealed that they contained organic material that is slightly different from that native to our planet.

“What we find is that if we model the Ceres data using extraterrestrial organics, which may be a more appropriate analog than those found on Earth, then we need a lot more organic matter on Ceres to explain the strength of the spectral absorption that we see there,” Kaplan said.

“We estimate that as much as 40 to 50 percent of the spectral signal we see on Ceres is explained by organics. That’s a huge difference compared to the six to 10 percent previously reported based on terrestrial organic compounds.”

Unknown origin

The team proposes two possible explanations for how organic material popped up on Ceres in such high concentrations. They could either have been produced on Ceres itself and then blasted to the surface. Alternatively, they could have been delivered by impacts with organic-rich comets or asteroids.

In the case of delivery, comets are more likely culprits than asteroids — the former tend to have higher contents of organic material, around 40 to 50 percent, which would be consistent with Ceres’ patches. However, this explanation seems unlikely, the team notes. The violence and heat of these impacts would likely destroy a substantial amount of the original organic material, meaning we’d see much lower concentrations on the surface.

The other explanation, that of in-situ generation, is also problematic. Organic material has only been identified in small patches on Ceres’ northern hemisphere — and, if the team’s findings are correct, in high concentrations. It’s a lot of organic material spread over a very small area, and we have no idea how it could get like this.

“If the organics are made on Ceres, then you likely still need a mechanism to concentrate it in these specific locations or at least to preserve it in these spots,” said Ralph Milliken, a study co-author.

“It’s not clear what that mechanism might be. Ceres is clearly a fascinating object, and understanding the story and origin of organics in these spots and elsewhere on Ceres will likely require future missions that can analyze or return samples.”

It’s not all unanswered questions. The research will help improve our ability to analyze the chemical make-up of extraterrestrial bodies. The team hopes their findings will “provide a framework of how to better interpret data of asteroids and make links between spacecraft observations and samples in our meteorite collection.”

With NASA announcing that it discovered organic material on Mars just one week ago, it seems that the universe may be a much more organic place than we’d assumed.

Do These Ancient Paintings Feature The Ultimate Ancient Astronaut Evidence?

History has proven to be a great teacher for the human race, we have seen that our ancestors were extremely intelligent, with amazing knowledge on subjects such as astronomy, geometry, mathematics and other important sciences but they were amazing artists as well. From the construction of the great Pyramids of Giza to paintings in the Renaissance Era and further on, incredible stories have been told that have been difficult to explain.

In this article, we focus on some of the most interesting paintings of that period in History as we look at “The Baptism of Christ” by Aert De Gelder, “The Madonna with Saint Giovannino“, “The Annunciation” and other very interesting pieces of art that tell incredible stories.

The interpretation given to each painting can vary from person to person but all of these paintings have something in common, they seem to tell the same story, incredible “flying machines” appear to be incorporated in the “scenery”. But who could have possessed the ability to fly at that time in history?

Were these flying machines misinterpreted? Are they “clouds” or “angels” or is there something more to them? Are these different authors sending a message in their art? If there is one thing that these paintings are not, that is ordinary.

One of the paintings that we find very interesting is the “The Baptism of Christ” by Aert De Gelder.

Looking at this painting the first thing that you notice are these strange rays of light that are coming down from a disk-shaped object in the sky. It is one of the most interesting paintings and according to the Ancient Alien theory, this painting is a piece of strong evidence which illustrates a Disk Shaped flying object.

The author of the image painted a circular object, it cannot be confused as a cloud, it appears to have some sort of light at the center and the rays of light are coming out of this object, you cannot confuse it for thunder or anything else really. We believe that the author painted what he saw at a certain point in his life. If he wanted to paint a cloud or the sun he would have painted them in a much more effective way. We believe that this painting illustrates a disk-shaped UFO, much like the disk-shaped objects that are reported even today.

“The Miracle of the Snow” by Masolino Da Panicale is another incredible image that we cannot pass by without taking a closer look.  This painting was previously known as Dedicatio Sanctæ Mariæ ad Nives (Dedication of the Church of Our Lady of the Snows). This painting is very interesting because it illustrates a large number of disk-shaped objects flying in the sky.

The first thing that you can think of to explain these objects are clouds but are they really clouds? Did this author paint all of the clouds at that time giving them a “disk” or saucer shape? One of the objects in this painting that drew particular interest is the object to the right just above the building. When you look at it, it shows incredible similarity to some of the modern-day depictions of Unidentified flying objects.

This object in our opinion does not look in any way like a cloud.

We have observed several paintings from the Renaissance Era and compared artists techniques when it comes to illustrating clouds and the work done by Masolino Da Panicale is just impressive and we ask why would this artist pick this “Disk” shape? Can we say that in this painting we have several UFO’s or are these just… clouds?…

Disk-shaped clouds?

At the Visoki Dečani monastery located in Kosovo, we find another very interesting piece of art. The Crucifixion of Christ.

This painting is a very detailed piece of art, we see several different objects that are illustrated around Christ, but after looking at the painting, there are two objects which seem to stand out from the rest of the items on the painting. Located to the left and the right of the painting they seem to depict two humans that are inside some sort of spaceship. According to modern day explanations, these “objects” are placed in the painting to depict the sun and the moon as in other paintings. But why place “pilots” or a human inside them?

Was the artist really trying to illustrate our Sun and the Moon?

Or was the artist trying to depict something otherworldly?

By observing the left object in the painting, we see that the “pilot” inside this particular object appears to be manipulating something in front of him, his arms are painted stretched out and reaching for something in front of him. The object to the right shows the figure turning his head to see whats behind him.

Are these two objects depictions of UFO’s and their crew?

Or are they simply the artist’s way to illustrate the sun and the moon?

Another painting that we find extremely interesting is “The Annunciation” painted by Carlo Crivelli.

This artist favored verdant landscape backgrounds, and his works can be identified by his characteristic use of fruits and flowers as decorative motifs. His works were clear and definite in contour, with astounding attention to detail. In his painting “The Annunciation” there are several objects that stand out from the rest of this extremely detailed piece of art.

First of all, we have a circularly shaped cloud. Inside the cloud, we can see several “angels” looking outside of the cloud, but what makes this interesting is the ray of light that shines on a “pigeon” and on Mary’s head.

Now what we find puzzling is that in this painting  Carlo Crivelli painted several other clouds, in fact, the sky is filled with clouds, but he decides to paint this specific “disk-shaped” cloud with “angels” and a beam of light?

Why paint one specific cloud so different in comparison to the other clouds present in the painting and with a beam of light?

From what we have seen in similar paintings, the artists usually paint beams of light descending directly from angels or from the sun, but this is not the case in Carlo Crivelli’s painting in which he paid extreme attention to the details and made sure the public could tell the difference when analyzing this masterpiece.

We can also see a person that Carlo Crivelli decided to incorporate in the middle of the painting which is looking at the sky– at this disk-shaped cloud just below the gate.

Above Mary’s left shoulder we observe a disk-shaped object that appears to be glowing – a UFO?. It is an object which the artist depicted in great detail making sure it would stand out in the painting. To the right of the painting, we see a man that is holding his right arm above his eyes with which the artist made sure to send a message that this object was very bright. To the left of the image in the upper corner, we can see an object that looks like the sun.

This means that the artist painted this disk-shaped object, giving it a shiny detail and he made sure to illustrate it to the right of the sun so we know this bright object cannot be confused for the sun, this disk shaped object does not look like your ordinary cloud, so if it is not the sun nor a cloud what could it possibly be?

Is The Madonna with Saint Giovannino painting an illustration of an otherworldly visitation? The artist considered this object extremely important, otherwise, he would not have placed it nor painted it with such detail as we see here.

Martian mystery plume puzzles scientists

Astronomers are scratching their heads over mysterious plumes that have been sighted in the atmosphere of Mars. First seen by amateur astronomers using Earthbound telescopes, the plumes are at an altitude much higher than that of any clouds yet seen on the Red Planet, and may not even be clouds.

Clouds have been seen on Mars since the 1870s and observations sent back by probes like Curiosity and the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter have greatly increased our understanding of the Martian atmosphere, but that doesn’t mean that our neighbor can’t still surprise us.

The mysterious plumes were first reported by amateur astronomers in 2012 as they rose to altitudes of 250 km (155 mi) over the the same region of Terra Cimmeria (195 degrees west, 45 degrees south) on two occasions. They were seen on the limb or observed edge of the planet at the day/night terminator during the local Martian sunrise, where the lighting conditions made them stand out much like the illuminated clouds at dawn.

According to the European Space Agency (ESA), similar plumes have been seen before, but never at altitudes above 100 km (62 mi), and this extremely high altitude is significant because it marks the boundary between the Martian atmosphere and space with the plumes extending into the ionosphere and exosphere. The plumes covered an estimated area of 1,000 x 500 km (620 x 310 mi) and took under 10 hours to develop. Though the structure of the plumes changed over time, they didn’t last more than 10 days and weren’t seen by Mars-based spacecraft because lighting conditions weren’t right.

The Hubble Space Telescope also saw a curious plume-like feature on Mars on May 17, 1997. It is similar to the features detected by amateur astronomers in 2012, although appeared in a different location.

The nature of the plumes has yet to be determined and the extreme altitude raises some interesting possibilities. Clouds on Mars are usually made of water vapor, dry ice, or dust, but to reach the high altitudes observed, the clouds would have to use an atmospheric circulation system different from any understood on Mars. According to ESA scientists, water and carbon dioxide clouds remains below 100 km and dust below 60 km (37 mi).

However, the possibility also exists that the plumes may not be conventional clouds, but a phenomenon similar to Earth’s northern lights, though a thousand times brighter. This idea is supported by the fact that the region is home to a large magnetic anomaly, which would support the creation of such auroras.

ESA says Hubble Space Telescope data, along with amateur observations, are being used by astronomers to try to find out the exact cause of the plumes. Already an examination of the backlog of Hubble images has uncovered similar plumes from May 17, 1997. One promising angle will be information sent back by the space agency’s ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO), which is scheduled to launch next year.

Earlier this week, a strange image captured on a remote weather camera in the Puget Sound of Washington State captured what appeared to be a rocket or missile launch in the vicinity of Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, a nearby air base which is home to several electronic warfare and reconnaissance squadrons. The image was posted to Facebook by meteorologist Greg Johnson whereupon conspiracy theories and allegations of black launches naturally began to swirl. Pull out your tin foil hats, friends, because this one gets weird.

Tyler Rogoway of military aviation blog The War Zone quickly jumped on the case, attempting to dispel the rumors and conspiracy theories by claiming the strange image did not show a rocket or missile launch, but rather an air ambulance helicopter which was flying in the area at the time. Rather than depicting a rocket launching vertically, Rogoway claims the image depicts a helicopter flying at a steady altitude horizontally away from the camera with its search light on and facing down.

“A missile!”

While Rogoway is known for his in-depth research and reporting, much of the internet isn’t buying it. Readers of The War Zone took to the site’s comments section and social media to accuse Rogoway of being a government shill working on behalf of the military, U.S. government, or another shadowy group to cover up some sort of clandestine launch. The War Zone reader “jimzoltan” sums up the responses with his comment asserting his skepticism towards Rogoway’s analysis:

I do a lot of photography, long exposure included. I am not buying the “explanation.” Of course there has to be a cover, and willing or unknowing actors to carry it out. People will believe nearly anything if there is enough social pressure and effective propaganda in place. They will even discount their own senses and personal experience. Just a fact about humans and manipulation.

Speaking of manipulation, many 4chan and Reddit users pointed to a few typos in a tweet President Trump sent out around the same time the strange image of the ‘launch’ was taken as proof of some deep conspiracy. They claim these typos are some sort of cryptic message suggesting that there was an attempt to shoot down Air Force One en route to the historic summit with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un in Singapore committed by rogue elements within the military or government. Yeah, really.

To make things stranger, meteorologist Cliff Mass posted an unnerving image of a U.S. Coast Guard cutter seen patrolling the area surrounding the location of the weather cameras which originally captured the “launch.” Mass asks “If this was just an innocent helicopter passage at night, why all the snooping on weather-loving Greg Johnson?” Why indeed, Cliff? Why indeed. Unless, of course, it was related to whatever search and rescue operation for which the helicopter was dispatched.

Is this merely a curious long exposure photograph of a helicopter flying with its search light on, or might there be a deeper conspiracy afoot here? The U.S. Navy asserts there were no launches that day and that the base doesn’t even have the capability to fire missiles or launch rockets. Furthermore, there were no reports of residents hearing loud sounds around the time of the “launch.”

While I would generally tend to remain skeptical and side with the helicopter theory, the sudden appearance of the Coast Guard ship sure is odd – as is the timing coinciding with the Trump-Kim summit. Plus, no matter how hard I try, I just can’t see a helicopter in the images – but photographs can be misleading. As for the Trump typos, well… stay in school and eat your Wheaties, kids. As usual, we’ll likely never get to the bottom of this one: photographs are unreliable, 4chan is 4chan, and the military is reliably tight-lipped.

The Mars rover Opportunity is sleeping, not dead, NASA says

The craft may be able to hibernate through a dust storm that could last months

The veteran Opportunity rover isn’t dead yet. Currently, the craft is in a deep sleep to ride out a massive Martian dust storm, NASA officials said in a briefing on June 13. The rover may wake itself up when the storm ends.

Opportunity is enveloped in a vast dust storm that grew from a small patch spotted on May 30 to cover a quarter of the planet by June 12 (SN Online: 6/11/18). Too little sunlight is reaching the rover’s solar panels, so Opportunity is in low-power mode — just barely enough to run the rover’s internal clock — until its batteries can charge again. The team hasn’t heard from Opportunity since June 10, and no transmissions are expected until the storm clears.

The Martian summer is just beginning, so the rover should stay warm enough to survive for a long time in this mode, said Opportunity’s project manager John Callas, a planetary scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif.

“When the skies clear and the rover begins to power up, it should be able to communicate with us,” he said.

Weather report

The dust storm (red-orange color in this animation of images from NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter) began as a small patch north of the Opportunity rover and grew quickly. Now the weather event is on track to cover the entire planet in a few days.

That’s not to say the team isn’t worried. Based on past storms, the wait could be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.

“It’s like you have a loved one in a coma in the hospital,” Callas said. “You have the doctors telling you that, ‘OK, you just have to give it time and she’ll wake up,’… but if it’s your 97-year-old grandmother, you’re going to be very concerned. And so we are. By no means are we out of the woods here.”

Supermassive black holes are can be found at the centers of nearly all the galaxies known to astronomers. It’s still not known why these black holes are found in the hearts of galaxies, but it’s theorized that they may be created after the explosions of massive stars which ‘seed’ new galaxies with various types of matter and star stuff. According to NASA, the center of our own Milky Way Galaxy contains thousands of black holes weighing up to 30 times more than the mass of our own Sun, all of which are found just a few light years from the largest and most central of the Milky Way’s black holes, Sagittarius A*.

Astronomers at the Keck Observatory in Hawaii were analyzing 12 years of data gathered on these black holes when they came across what have been described as “several bizarre objects at the Galactic center” which are “concealing their true identity behind a smoke screen of dust.” They display an unusual level of what astronomers call “puffiness,” meaning whatever they are, they’re cloaked in dense layers of gases and dusts. If they are stars, these clouds are so thick that they prevent them from being observed directly. What exactly might these anomalous objects be?

For now, that remains a mystery. Astronomers say these objects resemble clouds of gasses, but behave more like stars. UCLA postdoctoral scholar Anna Ciurlo led the study and says that these objects still perplex her team despite more than a decade of research:

These compact dusty stellar objects move extremely fast and close to our Galaxy’s supermassive black hole. It is fascinating to watch them move from year to year. How did they get there? And what will they become? They must have an interesting story to tell.

One theory is that these objects might be the remnants of binary star systems which crashed into one another due to the gravitational influence of nearby black holes. Further study will take decades, however, due to their slow rate of evolution.

This discovery comes on the heels of several other recent astronomical breakthroughs which show there might be entire classes of strange phenomena and wondrous objects found in the far reaches of space the likes of which we have never seen. It truly is a mysterious universe.

Do These Ancient Paintings Feature The Ultimate Ancient Astronaut Evidence?

History has proven to be a great teacher for the human race, we have seen that our ancestors were extremely intelligent, with amazing knowledge on subjects such as astronomy, geometry, mathematics and other important sciences but they were amazing artists as well. From the construction of the great Pyramids of Giza to paintings in the Renaissance Era and further on, incredible stories have been told that have been difficult to explain.

In this article, we focus on some of the most interesting paintings of that period in History as we look at “The Baptism of Christ” by Aert De Gelder, “The Madonna with Saint Giovannino“, “The Annunciation” and other very interesting pieces of art that tell incredible stories.

The interpretation given to each painting can vary from person to person but all of these paintings have something in common, they seem to tell the same story, incredible “flying machines” appear to be incorporated in the “scenery”. But who could have possessed the ability to fly at that time in history?

Were these flying machines misinterpreted? Are they “clouds” or “angels” or is there something more to them? Are these different authors sending a message in their art? If there is one thing that these paintings are not, that is ordinary.

One of the paintings that we find very interesting is the “The Baptism of Christ” by Aert De Gelder.

Looking at this painting the first thing that you notice are these strange rays of light that are coming down from a disk-shaped object in the sky. It is one of the most interesting paintings and according to the Ancient Alien theory, this painting is a piece of strong evidence which illustrates a Disk Shaped flying object.

The author of the image painted a circular object, it cannot be confused as a cloud, it appears to have some sort of light at the center and the rays of light are coming out of this object, you cannot confuse it for thunder or anything else really. We believe that the author painted what he saw at a certain point in his life. If he wanted to paint a cloud or the sun he would have painted them in a much more effective way. We believe that this painting illustrates a disk-shaped UFO, much like the disk-shaped objects that are reported even today.

“The Miracle of the Snow” by Masolino Da Panicale is another incredible image that we cannot pass by without taking a closer look.  This painting was previously known as Dedicatio Sanctæ Mariæ ad Nives (Dedication of the Church of Our Lady of the Snows). This painting is very interesting because it illustrates a large number of disk-shaped objects flying in the sky.

The first thing that you can think of to explain these objects are clouds but are they really clouds? Did this author paint all of the clouds at that time giving them a “disk” or saucer shape? One of the objects in this painting that drew particular interest is the object to the right just above the building. When you look at it, it shows incredible similarity to some of the modern-day depictions of Unidentified flying objects.

This object in our opinion does not look in any way like a cloud.

We have observed several paintings from the Renaissance Era and compared artists techniques when it comes to illustrating clouds and the work done by Masolino Da Panicale is just impressive and we ask why would this artist pick this “Disk” shape? Can we say that in this painting we have several UFO’s or are these just… clouds?…

Disk-shaped clouds?

At the Visoki Dečani monastery located in Kosovo, we find another very interesting piece of art. The Crucifixion of Christ.

This painting is a very detailed piece of art, we see several different objects that are illustrated around Christ, but after looking at the painting, there are two objects which seem to stand out from the rest of the items on the painting. Located to the left and the right of the painting they seem to depict two humans that are inside some sort of spaceship. According to modern day explanations, these “objects” are placed in the painting to depict the sun and the moon as in other paintings. But why place “pilots” or a human inside them?

Was the artist really trying to illustrate our Sun and the Moon?

Or was the artist trying to depict something otherworldly?

By observing the left object in the painting, we see that the “pilot” inside this particular object appears to be manipulating something in front of him, his arms are painted stretched out and reaching for something in front of him. The object to the right shows the figure turning his head to see whats behind him.

Are these two objects depictions of UFO’s and their crew?

Or are they simply the artist’s way to illustrate the sun and the moon?

Another painting that we find extremely interesting is “The Annunciation” painted by Carlo Crivelli.

This artist favored verdant landscape backgrounds, and his works can be identified by his characteristic use of fruits and flowers as decorative motifs. His works were clear and definite in contour, with astounding attention to detail. In his painting “The Annunciation” there are several objects that stand out from the rest of this extremely detailed piece of art.

First of all, we have a circularly shaped cloud. Inside the cloud, we can see several “angels” looking outside of the cloud, but what makes this interesting is the ray of light that shines on a “pigeon” and on Mary’s head.

Now what we find puzzling is that in this painting  Carlo Crivelli painted several other clouds, in fact, the sky is filled with clouds, but he decides to paint this specific “disk-shaped” cloud with “angels” and a beam of light?

Why paint one specific cloud so different in comparison to the other clouds present in the painting and with a beam of light?

From what we have seen in similar paintings, the artists usually paint beams of light descending directly from angels or from the sun, but this is not the case in Carlo Crivelli’s painting in which he paid extreme attention to the details and made sure the public could tell the difference when analyzing this masterpiece.

We can also see a person that Carlo Crivelli decided to incorporate in the middle of the painting which is looking at the sky– at this disk-shaped cloud just below the gate.

The Madonna with Saint Giovannino painted in the 15th century. Another painting that can be added to the list of ancient paintings that depict an unidentified flying object.

Above Mary’s left shoulder we observe a disk-shaped object that appears to be glowing – a UFO?. It is an object which the artist depicted in great detail making sure it would stand out in the painting. To the right of the painting, we see a man that is holding his right arm above his eyes with which the artist made sure to send a message that this object was very bright. To the left of the image in the upper corner, we can see an object that looks like the sun.

This means that the artist painted this disk-shaped object, giving it a shiny detail and he made sure to illustrate it to the right of the sun so we know this bright object cannot be confused for the sun, this disk shaped object does not look like your ordinary cloud, so if it is not the sun nor a cloud what could it possibly be?

Is The Madonna with Saint Giovannino painting an illustration of an otherworldly visitation? The artist considered this object extremely important, otherwise, he would not have placed it nor painted it with such detail as we see here.

Puma Punku, A Never-Ending Ancient Mystery

Puma Punku is truly a wonderful Place, not only is it an incredible temple complex filled with mysteries that baffle one’s mind, it is a place where one loses the notion of space and time.

This temple complex located near Tiwanaku, Bolivia is one of the most incredible ancient ruins you will find in South America.

At Puma Punku or “The Door of the Puma” as the Aymara people call it, we find incredible evidence of precision cuts, precise engineering, and evidence of high level of geometry and mathematics. It is a treasure for anyone who has knowledge of Mathematics, geology, engineering, and astronomy.

Surveys done using ground-penetrating radar, magnetometry, induced electrical conductivity, and magnetic susceptibility reveal the presence of numerous man-made structures such as wall foundations of buildings and compounds, water conduits, pool-like features, revetments, terraces, residential compounds, and widespread gravel pavements all of which now lie buried and hidden beneath the modern ground’s surface and all that within a kilometer between Pumapunku and Kalasasaya — another incredible archaeological structure.

Perhaps the biggest mystery involving Puma Punku is, how did ancient mankind manage to transport these huge blocks of stone from quarries within 10 to 100 km. How did they manage to achieve this type of precision cuts and how did they place the blocks in such a perfect manner. Engineers and constructors around the world today cannot answer nor replicate these achievements done by ancient mankind thousands of years ago.

Archaeologists cannot come to a conclusion and answer how were these amazing blocks of stone transported. Some of them believe that it was accomplished by the large labor force of ancient Tiwanaku. Several theories have been proposed as to how this labor force transported the stones from the quarries to Puma Punku but these theories remain speculative.

It is believed that the builders of Puma Punku used llama skin ropes and ramps and inclined planes to move these incredible blocks to the site. But this explanation is not accepted widely, at least in our opinion it takes more than llama skin rope and ramps to move stones of blocks that weigh over 100 metric tons through distances of 10 – 100 kilometers.

Among the largest stone blocks found at Puma Punku we can find one with the following characteristics: 7.81 meters long, 5.17 meters wide, averages 1.07 meters thick and is estimated to weigh about 131 metric tons. Incredible right? And this was done with ropes and ramps? OK, right. The second largest stone block found within the Puma Punku is 7.90 meters long, 2.50 meters wide, and averages 1.86 meters thick. Its weight has been estimated to be 85.21 metric tons.

Researches believe that these two blocks of stone were quarried near Lake Titicaca approx. 10 km from Puma Punku.

Other stone blocks found at Puma Punku have been quarried near the Copacabana Peninsula about 90 km away from and across Lake Titicaca. So perhaps this is one of the biggest mysteries at Puma Punku.

How did Ancient man do this?

Another puzzling mystery at Puma Punku is the assembly of the walls.

Each stone was finely cut to interlock with the surrounding stones and the blocks fit together like a puzzle, forming load-bearing joints without the use of mortar. The precision challenges today’s engineering abilities.

A common engineering technique is to cut the top of the lower stone at a certain angle and placing another stone on top of it which was cut at the same angle. What baffles scientists, engineers and archaeologists is the precision with which this was achieved.

The precision with which these angles have been utilized to create flush joints is indicative of a highly sophisticated knowledge of stone-cutting and a thorough understanding of descriptive geometry. Some of the joins we find at Puma Punku are so well placed, and so precisely locked into place that you wouldn’t be able to fit a paper in between them.

The level of masonry we find at Puma Punku is just amazing. These stones look like as if they were cut with a “laser”. They are so precise and so smooth that you cannot come up with a logical explanation on how ancient man could have achieved this without the use of modern-day equipment.

It is a mystery.

Ancient Engineers at Puma Punku and Tiwanaku should be considered masterminds. Their knowledge of mathematics, geometry, and geology is something that most of today’s engineers lack.

These Ancient Engineers were truly great, they developed complex civic infrastructure, they invented waterproof sewage lines, hydraulic mechanisms, and functional irrigation systems.

Amid reports of Maoists’ plans of assassinating the prime minister, a ‘UFO’ sighting over Narendra Modi’s Lok Kalyan Marg residence in New Delhi gave some anxious moments to the security personnel.

According to a report in The Hindustan Times, the security agencies came to know about the incident on June 7, when such a claim was made.

However, after a detailed combing operation, the agencies didn’t find anything substantial.

‘The sighting was reported but nothing threatening was found. More details cannot be shared keeping security reasons in mind,’ Delhi Police chief spokesperson Dependra Pathak was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times.

The report also mentions earlier incidents in September last year when the security agencies were informed about drone-like device hovering over the Prime Minister’s residence. 

With the assassination plot coming out in public, the security agencies are leaving no stone unturned in PM Modi’s security. 

The police in Pune  had told a court earlier this month that they had seized a "letter" from the Delhi residence of one of the five people arrested for having alleged "links" with the banned CPI (Maoist).

The purported letter allegedly mentioned of a plan to "assassinate" Prime Minister Narendra Modi in "another Rajiv Gandhi-type incident", the police told the court. 

On political front, Opposition parties are saying that the assassination plot is just BJP’s ploy to gain sympathy. 

On June 10, Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar launched a scathing attack against ruling BJP over the threat to the Prime minister and chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and claimed that BJP's is coming down, hence it has come up with threat letter conspiracy. 

Speaking on the issue of recent statements reports that PM Modi and CM Fadnavis have received threats allegedly by maoists, Pawar said, "After these reports of threat letters, a retired police official told me that when such letters comes, it does not go to media but it goes to the security agencies and additional security measures are taken."

Nasa reveals pic of Mars meteorite impact crater which looks a lot like a crashed UFO

Impact crater resembles the remains of a spaceship, but there’s a logical explanation for its origins

Nasa has spotted something strange on Mars which looks a bit like a crashed UFO but was actually caused by a meteor strike.

The stunning images were captured by Nasa’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and show an impact crater which formed at some point in the last decade.

This hole is about five metres wide and formed when a meteorite hit the surface and exploded.

The trail you can see in the image wasn’t actually made during the impact, but is the result of an avalanche which caused a ‘slope streak’.

Nasa wrote: ‘When the meteoroid hit the surface and exploded to make the crater, it also destabilized the slope and initiated this avalanche.

‘The crater itself is only 5 metres across, but the streak it started is 1 kilometre long.

‘Slope streaks are created when dry dust avalanches leave behind dark swaths on dusty Martian hills.

‘The faded scar of an old avalanche is also visible to the side of the new dark streak.’

So what would happen to a spaceship if it crashed into Mars?

Well, that depends on where it lands.

Nasa is just about to announce whether one of its plucky robots has survived an encounter with a super-powerful dust storm as big as North America.

The Opportunity Rover was as only designed to survive for 90 days on the surface of Mars but has kept on trundling for 15 years.

Official NASA Gemini mission image shows ‘undeniable proof’ of UFO’s orbiting Earth

The Gemini Program was the second manned space program of the United States, developed in the early 1960s during the space race with the Soviet Union.

The project began in 1965 after the US space agency finalized its first space flight program: the groundbreaking Mercury project, which had successfully put the first US astronauts into orbit.

The Gemini program, unlike its predecessor and its subsequent continuation with the Apollo Program, did not produce as much euphoria in the public opinion although the developments reached in the project would be of vital importance for the development of the future Apollo missions and the goal landing mankind on the surface of the moon.

The main purpose of the Gemini program was to demonstrate the possibilities of space flight and coupling that would be used later during the Apollo missions when the lunar module separated from the command module in orbit around the Moon and later meet with the spaceship again after that the astronauts had left the lunar surface.

Another goal of the Gemini missions was to extend the astronauts’ stay in space for up to two weeks.

This was even more than what was required for the Apollo missions.

As you can see, the Gemini project was of great importance as it helped mankind reach the moon, land on its surface and return safely back home.

The Gemini 10 Alien encounter

One of the most curious images snapped during the Gemini project was taken in 1966, during the Gemini X mission.

Gemini 10 was a manned space mission of the Gemini program made in 1966. It was the eighth manned flight of the Gemini program and the sixteenth of the American space program.

The mission lasted for 2 days, 22 hours, 46 minutes, 39 seconds.

During Gemini X, astronauts on board snapped a series of images that would later be tucked away in NASA’s archives.

One of the images shows a mysterious light to the right of the spacecraft, and planet Earth, unlike anything other in its vicinity.

UFO hunters are convinced that what popped up in the image snapped by Gemini mission astronauts was in fact an Alien spaceship, clearly distinguishable by three ‘large’ lights.

Upon zooming in, we clearly see what appear to be three bright lights which UFO hunters say are the propulsion system of the alleged alien spacecraft.

Curiously, Major Gordon Cooper, astronaut and member of the Gemini Project, testifying under oath to the United Nations said: “I believe that these extra-terrestrial vehicles and their crews are visiting this planet from other planets… Most astronauts were reluctant to discuss UFOs.”

He also said: “I’ve been asked about UFOs and I’ve said publicly I thought they were somebody else, some other civilization.”

These Are The Incredible Lost Megaliths Of Oceania

The distinct culture of Polynesians has created some of the most interesting monuments in the world. A true wonder of the world is the Moai sculptures on Easter Island but not less intriguing are the mysterious Tikis statues of Hiva Oa.

The temple of Taputapuatea Marae is an ancient pyramid built on the Leeward Islands, French Polynesia. It is considered one of the most important sacred complexes in Polynesia. Established around 1000 AD, the marae was a place of learning where priests and navigators from all over the Pacific would gather to offer sacrifices to the gods and share their knowledge of the genealogical origins of the universe, and of deep-ocean navigation.

During the 15th century CE, the Maori of New Zealand constructed a hill fort known as Maungakiekie (One Tree Hill) in Auckland. It is the largest Maori fort ever built. These Earth workers literally carved a fortified complex out of the hill, considered to be the most impressive systems in the world. Many of the Maori can also trace their ancestry back to this hill, which is said to have the spirits of their elders.

The island of Hiva Oa is home to a ceremonial site with houses some of the largest prehistoric statues in French Polynesia, up to 2.6 m high. They are positioned on an ancient monument known as the me’ae, a sacred site arranged for ceremonies and gatherings. One of the most interesting fortifications of Polynesia can be found on the small island of Rapa Iti. These pyramid-shaped towers were built along the highest peaks of the island, a realm where the island gods were said to live. Compelling studies suggest that many of these pyramids were aligned with astronomical events, such as solstices, eclipses, and even the Earths own hemispheres.

The Mesopotamians built the earliest pyramid structures known as ziggurats (e.g. Tepe Sialk and the Ziggurat of Ur). In ancient times they were painted in gold & bronze, endowing them with a luminous quality. The ziggurats were believed to be dwelling places for the gods, and each city had its own patron deity which ruled over the sea, sky, earth etc.

In Egypt, the pyramids were huge structures built of brick or stone. The sun god Ra, considered the father of all pharaohs, was said to have created himself from a pyramid-shaped mound known as a ‘Benben’ before creating all other gods. They were often coated with white limestone in order to give them a shining appearance (as a reference to the rays of the sun god).

The Nubian pyramids from Sudan served as tombs for the kings and queens of Jebel Barkal and Meroë. These Nubian Pyramids have different characteristics to their Egyptian counterparts, constructed at much steeper angles. These great tombs were still being built in Sudan as late as 300 CE.

Far to the East, there were many flat-topped like pyramids built in China & Korea between 188 BCE and 675 CE. These huge mausoleums were built for the early emperors of China and their relatives. The ancient Chinese believed that when an emperor died, their soul entered the afterlife, so the mausoleums were constructed as heavenly palaces for their life hereafter.

All of the daily comforts of their past life such as servants, attendants, possessions, pets, wives, guardians, concubines, food and drink were to be provided for them in the after life. This was accomplished by burying all of these things with the deceased when they died. It was not uncommon to kill people in order to be buried with their master, but as dynasties evolved clay replicas replaced the real thing.

The Indonesia culture also featured pyramid structures such as Borobudur temple and Prang temple. These step pyramids were based on the native beliefs that mountains and high places are the abode for the spirit of the ancestors.

Across the Pacific Ocean, a number of Mesoamerican cultures also built pyramid-shaped structures. They were typically stepped, with temples on top (similar to the ziggurats of Mesopotamia). These temples were often used as places of human sacrifice. The ‘Pyramid of the Sun’ in Teotihuacán means “the place where men become Gods.” They claim that their pyramids were instruments for transforming the soul after death, just as the Egyptians did.

A recent series of pyramid-like structures were built by the Polynesians known as Pā (sacred hill forts). These stepped structures were carved from hill tops, forming a pyramid-like shape, and were often used as defensive settlements. The Polynesians believed these earth works were endowed with ‘mana’, a spiritual energy that granted them power and authority.

The common theme which links all these pyramid structures is death, authority, and immortality. These temples literally seemed to deify their occupants, who went on to rule from the heavens, their legacy secured and memorialized by the wondrous monuments of the ancients.

The Beginning of Religion: This is The Evolutionary Tree Of All Religions On Earth

Since the dawn of mankind, humans have tried to make sense of their world, especially when faced with unknown phenomena such as ‘what causes storms’, ‘what happens to us after we die’, and ‘how was the world formed’? It is plausible that from such questions, our first primitive religions were formed.

The earliest evidence of a religious practice can be traced back to 100,000 years ago when we began to bury our dead. Although we cannot define this as the origin of faith, it does suggest that at the dawn of humanity, we had begun to consider some kind of afterlife.

Over time, this religious practice gave rise to a new ideology which spread across the continents, known today as ‘Animism’. This emerging faith was the root belief system that would evolve and branch out into numerous other ideologies all over the world. The journey of these evolving religions can be broken down into three classic periods.

It should be noted that these periods are not indicative of a new ideology improving upon previous faith systems. Religions change over time, they go extinct, and they split into distinct traditions.

They adapt to their environment, they construct their environment in part, all just like organic evolution does.

Period 1: Animism (100,000 BCE – Present)

Humans began to believe that natural constructs (e.g. plants, animals, rocks and wind) possessed a spiritual essence. These spirit entities were believed to have powers and temperaments that influenced our everyday world. By worshiping these divine beings, it was believed we could maintain harmony with this spirit world and gain favors from them.

Period 2: Polytheism (15,000 BCE – Present)

The roots of Polytheism may lie in the Epipaleolithic era. Linguists and historians have defined a hypothetical language family called Nostratic, which seems to have influenced all the African and Eurasian dialects. Many of the words that can be reconstructed involve nature gods (such as mother earth and father sky). This suggests that the nature spirits of animism had evolved into a new generation of Gods (giving abstract beings of thunder and water a more human form). During the Neolithic revolution, civilizations began to emerge requiring new areas of expertise (e.g. lawmaking, metallurgy, agriculture, and commerce). It was the descendants of the Nostratic Gods (e.g. the Indo-Europeans and Sumerians) who took on the role of guide and leader to the civilized world.

Typically these divine beings were divided into several classes, overseeing the heavens, the mortal realm, and the underworld. Each deity possessed their own powers, religious practice, and domain (e.g. trading, diplomacy, Warcraft etc). Man could either worship one or all of these beings, gaining favor from them via offerings, prayer and even sacrifice.

Period 3: Monotheism (1348 BCE – Present)

In the Bronze Age, a new movement took shape that prioritized one God over all other deities. This system is known as Monotheism – a belief in one Supreme Being. In 1348 BCE, the pharaoh Akhenaten, raised a lesser known God called ‘Aten’ to supreme status, downplaying the role of all other Egyptian deities. A little later in Iran, Zoroaster (a Persian priest) claimed ‘Ahura Mazda’ to be the one supreme deity. This newly emerging system posited that one creator god had formed the known universe, and was totally self-sufficient, capable of ruling over all other domains. This idea became prominent in Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Sikhism.

Most monotheistic systems tend to be exclusive in nature, which meant the gods of the Old World had to be purged from man’s consciousness. As a consequence, monotheistic religions displayed less religious tolerance than polytheistic religions, resulting in many wars and political disputes.

For decades, and across much of the United States, people have reported sightings of what have become known as “Black Helicopters” and “Phantom Helicopters.” They are often seen in the direct vicinity of animal mutilation events and UFO encounters. On many occasions they have been seen flying perilously close to the homes of alien abductees. Most of the reports come from the public. In the latter part of 1975, however, a substantial number of sightings came from the U.S. military. It was a wave of activity that still provokes questions to this date.

Such was the concern about the sightings, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Air Force Intelligence, and NORAD (the North American Air Defense Command) got involved. Consider this extract from the military titled “Unknown Air Activity. In part, it states: “Since 28 Oct 75 numerous reports of suspicious objects have been received at the NORAD CC. Reliable military personnel at Loring AFB Maine, Wurtsmith AFB, Michigan, Malmstrom AFB, MT, Minot AFB, ND, and Canadian forces station Falconbridge, Ontario Canada have visually sighted suspicious objects. Objects at Loring and Wurtsmith were characterized to be helicopters. Missile site personnel, security alert teams and air defense personnel at Malmstrom, Montana report an object which sounded like a jet. FAA advised there were no jet aircraft in the vicinity. Malmstrom search and height finder radars carried the object between 9500 ft. and 15,000 ft. at a speed of seven knots.”

That was far from the end of the matter: “…personnel reported the object as low as 200 ft. and said that as the interceptors approached the lights went out, after the interceptors had passed the lights came on again…Minot AFB on 10 Nov reported that the site was buzzed by a bright object the size of a car at an altitude of 1,000 to 2,000 ft. There was no noise emitted by the vehicle.”

Concerns about the U.S. media learning about, and investigating, the affair was expressed by the military: “Be assured that this command is doing everything possible to identify and provide solid factual information on these sightings. I have also expressed my concern to SAFOI that we come up soonest with a proposed answer to queries from the press to prevent over reaction by the public to reports by the media that may be blown out of proportion. To date efforts by Air Guard helicopters, SAC helicopters and NORAD F106s have failed to produce positive ID.”

Another document, titled “Defense Against Helicopter Assault,” reveals the following: “The past two evenings at one of our northern tier bases, an unidentified helicopter has been observed hovering over and in the near vicinity of the weapons storage area. Attempts to identify this aircraft have so far met with negative results.” In other words, something intruded upon the most secure part of the base and no-one was able to determine what was afoot or even why.

One of the most fascinating of all the series of incidents was captioned “Unidentified Helicopter Sighted at Low Level Over Loring AFB.” Extracts follow: “On 28 Oct 75, Lewis…advised that the a/c [aircraft] was first observed by Clifton W. Blakeslee, Sgt. [deleted] and William J. Long, SSgt., both assigned to the 42 SPS, who were on duty at the storage area. The initial sighting took place at approximately 1345. The a/c was observed approximately 1,000 meters north of LAFB. The a/c was subsequently observed by Lewis and others intermittently for the next hour and a half. Subsequent to the sighting by Long and Blakeslee, the a/c did not come nearer to the northern perimeter of LAFB than approximately 3 miles. Lewis observed a flashing white strobe light and red navigation lights on the a/c. The operator of the a/c either turned the lights off periodically or the a/c flew below a point from which the lights could be observed. The a/c disappeared from view and did not reappear. A search of the vicinity of the northern perimeter of LAFB by 42 SPS personnel met with negative results.”

And there was more to come, as the documentation makes abundantly clear: “On 28 Oct 75, Commander, 42 8W, advised that he responded to the area from which the unidentified a/c was observed. He arrived at approximately 1955. The a/c bore a white flashing light and an amber or orange light. The speed and movement in the air suggested that the a/c was a helicopter. From 1345-2020, the a/c was under constant observation. Subsequent to that time the a/c would appear and disappear from view. The a/c definitely penetrated the LAFB northern perimeter and on one occasion was within 300 yards of the munitions storage area perimeter. Efforts to identify the a/c through Maine State Police and local police departments were not successful.”

On November 7, staff from Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana, recorded this: “Received a call from the 341^st Strategic Air Command Post, saying that the following missile locations reported seeing a large red to orange to yellow object: M-1, L-3, LIMA and L-6. The general object location would be 10 miles south of Moore, Montana and 20 miles east of Buffalo, Montana.”

Just a few hours later, there was the following, also from Malmstrom: “SAC advised K-1 says very bright object to their east is now southeast of them and they are looking at it with 10 x 50 binoculars. Object seems to have lights (several) on it, but no distinct pattern. The orange/gold object overhead also has small lights on it. SAC also advises female civilian reports having seen an object bearing south from her position six miles west of Lewsitown.”

As for NORAD’s files, I’ll share with you one of the most intriguing of all: “This morning, 11 Nov 75, CFS Falconbridge reported search and height finder radar paints on an object up to 30 nautical miles south of the site ranging in altitude from 26,000 to 72,000 feet. The site commander and other personnel say the object appeared as a bright star but much closer. With binoculars the object appeared as a 100 ft. diameter sphere and appeared to have craters around the outside.”

Phantom/Black Helicopters or UFOs: the matter still remains unexplained, as the encounters came to a halt as mysteriously as they had begun.

Security Camera May Have Detected Something "Supernatural"

On June 13, 2018 a strange "light" appears in a security camera that has the homeowner kind of 'freaked out'!

There is a lot of discussion about what the light might have been, some people suggest that it was a laser point or flash light or a car passed by but the homeowner would know if a car passed by or other common occurrence.

One commenter states: “While the "odd light" does brighten up the umbrella a bit and also cause some shadowing on the umbrella, I'd say it was a reflection as there is no similar brightening or shadow affect on the chair at the table under the umbrella.”

“The regular porch light to the right is brighter than the anomaly. Maybe a bug/bird could be so close to the camera lens that the blur of the light (infrared?) hitting the body causes a minor warping effect on the view of the umbrella and other things in the distance to viewer's right but I do think the shadow on the brief umbrella is important."

Details On UFO Sighting Revealed In A Military Report

There are dozens of UFO sightings these days, and they have been for a while. In December, however, the New York Times released investigation results on US military’s monitoring of UFO claims that came up something entirely wild. It was a Pentagon video showing US Navy pilots tracking the activity of an unexplainable aircraft. Now, a Las Vegas news team has received a military reports offering even more details on the sighting. The story is somewhat becoming even stranger than before.

The report explains every detail how a US Navy aircraft carrier is strangely playing hide and seek with multiple Anomalous Aerial Vehicles (AAVs), which demonstrate advanced flight characteristics that should be impossible to do.

The sightings started on November 20, 2004, and went on for several days. The object would appear on radar systems of the carrier for short periods, seeming to hover, and then fly off at high speeds.

The crew started to investigate this phenomenon because of the confusion on what was happening. When the object re-appeared a few days later, a pair of F/A-18Fs was sent out to investigate the mysterious signals. The result is the now the popular video that shows the “Tic Tac-shaped” UFO moving along at incredibly high speeds and demonstrating fast changes in altitude.

According to the new report, the object is described as without edges, smooth, solid white and being uniformly coloured without wings, pylons, or nacelles. It says the object was around 46 feet long. As a comparison, the F/A fighters trailing it measure approximately 56 feet long. It is speculated that the strange object could hold one or more human-sized individuals.

The pilot said that they never felt a threat on the object, but the report notes that it seemingly reacted to the presence of the jets, showing an incredible acceleration, aerodynamic and propulsion capability.

The Navy says it may have a cloaking ability or can disappear to the human eye after several days of seeing it come and go. The officials also think it could operate underwater because of its quick descent from 60,000 feet to just 50 feet before vanishing, possibly moving from the air to the sea at will effortlessly.

Fire of the Gods, Mythological Weapons Of The Ancient Past

One of the most well-known stories in Greek Mythology is the legend of Prometheus. This powerful Titan ruled over the realm of fire, and in a defiant act passed his sacred knowledge onto humanity (despite Zeus’s orders to keep this knowledge forbidden). This combustible tool allowed our ancestors to survive the cold, bake clay vessels, and clear forests for planting. It literally helped humanity ascend from the stone age to a world of culture and technology.

But according to Hindu Mythology, this blazing gift went way beyond the primitive use of smelting metal and cooking meat. In the hands of the gods, fire was a profound and deadly tool, capable of incinerating enemies and leveling entire civilizations.

Agneyastra was one such weapon, created by the fire god Agni. It was described as a flaming arrow which required great knowledge and skill to work. Legend says the Agneyastra was used by the hero Sagara to set his enemies ablaze.

Another weapon, created by the God Vishnu, was the Narayanastra which fired a tirade of missiles upon its enemies. It was said the intensity of the fire increased the more an enemy resisted, and lessened when they showed their submission. In order to maintain a balance, this weapon could only be used once. If anyone tried to use it twice, it would devour the user and their supporting army.

The Brahmastra (forged by Lord Brahma) was one of the deadliest weapons in mythology. It required days of intense meditation to activate, and when fired, almost nothing could stop it. Upon impact, it created a powerful inferno capable of annihilating an entire nation. The weapon also created severe environmental damage (not dissimilar to radioactive fallout). Wherever the Brahmastra was dropped, the surrounding land would become barren of all life.

Finally, there was the deadliest weapon of all, the Pashupatastra. Both Shiva and Kali were said to have possessed this device, which was discharged by the power of thought. It was forbidden to be used against lesser enemies. This catastrophic weapon was said to be capable of destroying creation and vanquishing all life. The Hindu hero, Arjuna, obtained this weapon from Lord Shiva but did not use it as he was afraid he would destroy the world.

All of these powerful weapons sound uncannily familiar to the tools of mass destruction we have today. Perhaps the gods had a message for us. It is of no coincidence that Oppenheimer, creator of the atomic bomb used this quote from Hindu mythology “Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds”. We live in an age where the fire of the Gods is now at our own disposal. Is it possible that there was a reason that Zeus forbade Prometheus from sharing this sacred knowledge? Can we truly be entrusted with the fire of the Gods?

The Nebra Sky Disc: One Of The Oldest Cosmic Maps Ever Discovered

The Nebra sky disk, first thought to be a forgery, is now considered as one of the most important archaeological findings in the 20th century. This object is a bronze disk of around 30 cm diameter and a weight of 2.2 kg, with a blue-green patina and inlaid with gold symbols. The images on the disc are interpreted generally as a sun or full moon, a lunar crescent, and stars, specifically the  Pleiades.

But what makes this disk very unique is the fact that this disk is unlike any known artistic style from the period. The Nebra Sky Disc features the oldest concrete depiction of the cosmos worldwide. in June 2013 the Nebra sky disk was included in the UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register.

The disk is attributed to a site near Nebra, Saxony-Anhalt in Germany, and associatively dated to c. 1600 BC. According to researchers, it is at least two hundred years older than the oldest images found in Egypt. The Nebra sky disk was discovered by two “convicted” treasure hunters using a metal detector at a prehistoric enclosure encircling the Mittelberg hill, near the town of Nebra The disk was recovered shortly after by police authorities.

It was a group of German researchers that uncovered evidence that this disk was a complex astronomical clock for the harmonization of solar and lunar calendars, it is considered as the first ever portable navigating system.

But that does not answer any questions regarding the disk that have surfaced since its discovery in 1999. One of the most important markings found on the disk is the representation of the Pleiades;  an open star cluster containing middle-aged hot B-type stars located in the constellation of Taurus.

It is among the nearest star clusters to Earth and is the cluster most obvious to the naked eye in the night sky. The celestial entity has several meanings in different cultures and traditions and it is one of the most famous celestial objects (together with the Orion Nebula) in ancient times.

The Bronze Age astronomers would hold the Nebra clock against the sky and observe the position of the celestial objects.

The intercalary month was inserted when what they saw in the sky corresponded to the map on the disc they were holding in their hands. This happened every two to three years. “This is a clear expansion of what we knew about the meaning and function of the sky disc,” said archaeologist Harald Meller.

This is an image from the astronomy program Stellarium (free at Sourceforge) on the night of March 20, 2010, when the moon occulted the Pleiades. Notice that it strongly resembles the little dipper. We have rotated the image 90 degrees left, and if you compare it to the Sky Disk you will notice that it is the same representation as seen on the Nebra Sky Disk (upper left).

“The sensation lies in the fact that the Bronze Age people managed to harmonize the solar and lunar years. We never thought they would have managed that,…The functioning of this clock was probably known to a very small group of people,”

According to astronomer Wolfhard Schlosser of the Rurh University at Bochum, the Bronze Age sky gazers already knew what the Babylonians would describe only a thousand years later.

“Whether this was a local discovery, or whether the knowledge came from afar, is still not clear,” Schlosser said.

Ever since the disc was discovered, archaeologists and astronomers have been puzzled by the shape of the moon as it appears on the disc. A Brief History Of Witchcraft And How It Spread Across The World

Modern witchcraft has drawn much of its ideology from ancient religions and esoteric schools. It can be argued that the roots of this revived faith go back as far as the Stone Age, when humans began to conceive their world as a spiritual construct.

1. Shamanism appeared some time during the upper Paleolithic (50,000 – 10,000 years ago). The shaman would often enter trance states to follow the migration of herds (ensuring a successful hunt), heal people from illness, and protect their tribe from evil spirits. Many cave paintings depict shaman dancing in animal costumes, as though taking on the spirit of a particular animal.

2. As the nomadic tribes began to settle, new civilisations emerged, the earliest known being Sumeria (3500 BCE). From the translation of cuneiform tablets we know that the Sumerians believed in a wide range of celestial beings such as gods and spirits, many of which were hostile, so each person was guarded by spirit to protect them from demons. Their magic system was known as invocation, which allowed them to summon, bind and vanquish dark spirits using amulets, incantations and exorcism.

3. In ancient Egypt (2500 BCE), priests became skilled in Heka (the ‘activation of Ka’ or spirit energy). The Ka was the aspect of the soul which embodied personality, and the priests believed they could manipulate this spiritual fabric to influence the gods, gain protection, heal the ill and transform themselves into immortals. During the Third Intermediate Period of Egypt (1069–653 BC), the art of Heka was adopted by midwives and nurses, allowing women to explore the secrets of Ka for the first time.

4. The Mystery cults emerged in ancient Greece (1500 – 1100 BCE) and were eventually passed onto the Romans. These secret schools required an initiation process to gain entrance. Worshippers believed that the gods of Greece (such as Demeter, Dionysus and Orpheus) had passed on their magical secrets to humans during the Bronze Age. This included the art of shamanic travel, invoking the gods, reincarnation, and even the ingredients for making ambrosia (an immortalising food).

5. The Celts (decedents of the Indo Europeans), formed a priest class known as Druids by around 350 BCE. These nature worshippers acted as teachers, judges, astrologers, healers, and bards. They were pantheists, meaning they revered many aspects of a single deity (in the forms of nature gods, trees and standing stones). All of their rituals were based around reincarnation, creating potions and crafting spells, which would eventually form the backbone of medieval witchcraft.

6. Another branch of Indo-European magic can be found in the Anglo-Saxon culture (400 CE – 1100 CE). Their magic was based on Norse Mythology, where legend says the god Odin had passed the secrets of the runes to humanity. These sacred symbols are used for healing, creating charms, crafting magical artefacts and hexing people. Due to the Christianisation of their religion in the 6th – 8th century, the Anglo-Saxons came to fear the practitioners of rune magic, believing them to be guided by evil.

7. Gnosticism was a mystic religion that originated in the Middle East around 100 CE. Gnostics believed the material world was inherently evil and that realm of spirit was fundamentally good. They claimed the creator god of the Old Testament was corrupt and had created a flawed world. Instead they directed Christians toward an inner experience of the true god via spiritual transcendence. Their ideology outraged other Christian and Jewish faiths that saw this as an affront to their religion.

8. Gnosticism later influenced the mystic tradition of the Kabbalah. This Jewish sect believed that God’s divine knowledge had been shared by the angels to humans 5000 years ago. His spiritual principles were then passed down the generations via oral tradition until emerging as a sacred text known as Sefer Zohar (“Book of Radiance”), written by Moses de Leon, 1290 CE. Practitioners guide their followers via meditation toward a direct contact with the divine. Like Gnosticism, the Kabbalah speaks of divine beings, a tree of life and multiple cosmic realms.

9. Throughout the early middle ages, the Catholic Church tolerated pagan faiths. However, after the devastation of the ‘Black Death’ (bubonic plague 1347-1349), a paranoia swept through the minds of Christians, believing it was the heathens and heretics who had tainted humanity with their dark sorcery. What followed was 300 years of persecution toward anyone practicing magic and mysticism.

1401: Witch Trials began in England, proclaiming that anyone who practiced witchcraft was to be burnt at the stake.

1487: The notorious ‘Malleus Maleficarum’ (‘Hammer against the Witches’) was published by Kramer & Sprenger, inciting Christians to hunt down and kill witches.

1515: Authorities in Geneva, Switzerland burn 500 accused witches at the stake

1526: Como, Italy, a spiral of witchcraft charges lead to around 1000 executions.

1644: In England, Matthew Hopkins (self proclaimed “Witch-finder General”) began an intense witch-hunting campaign, torturing and killing around 300 women.

1692: The Salem witch trials arrest 150 people, convicting twenty-nine of the felony of witchcraft. Nineteen of the accused were hanged.

Between 1400 and 1700, an estimated 50,000 suspected witches were executed (around 75% of them women), in countries such as France, Britain, Germany and America.

After what became known as “The Burning Times”, the practice of witchcraft survived in pockets, particularly in the countryside, cut off from interaction with witches from other areas, or through secret societies.

10. The occult, (knowledge of the paranormal) was studied and practiced throughout the witch trials, often within secret societies sworn to silence. Intellectuals drawn to forbidden lore and mysticism began to study ancient texts related to invocation, ancient mythology, Egyptian mysticism, Gnosticism and the Kabbalah. Throughout this era, societies such as the Freemasons and Rosicrucian’s began to develop new schools of thought in astrology, alchemy, tarot, mediumship and sacred geometry.

11. In 1887, the works of the occult reached their pinnacle in an English society called ‘The Golden Dawn’. The Hermetic Order was an organisation devoted to occult practices, metaphysics, and paranormal activity. Many present-day concepts of ritual magic have been inspired by the Golden Dawn, which became one of the largest single influences on 20th-century Western occultism.

12. Wicca is a modern pagan, witchcraft religion. It was developed in England during the first half of the 20th century by Gerald Gardner. It draws upon the mystic traditions of the golden Dawn as well as ancient pagan practices. Wiccans typically believe in reincarnation, the use of magic to influence specific outcomes, a moral responsibility toward others and an appreciation for natural cycles (they have eight festivals known as Sabbats that revolve around the changing seasons). Wiccans often worship a variety of nature deities, the most important being the mother goddess and the horned god. These two deities are sometimes viewed as facets of a single godhead.
